They tell you right away that they're a no pressure/no commission dealership, and it really shows. There are no hassles and high pressure sales tactics. I came in knowing what I wanted, but Travis had some good insight about things I should consider as well. I stopped in the first time on a whim because I happened to be in Wichita and was going to be buying a new car in a few months. I wasn't pressured at all in the time in between stopping in and buying, but I was sent nice reminders that they were looking forward to helping me get the vehicle I wanted. When I was finally ready to purchased, I shopped around for the best offer and called Travis back last. Subaru of Wichita matched the best price I'd found and added in the other odds and ends fees that come along with a car purchase. This was easily the best experience I've had with a car dealer, and he last car I bought was at a dealership a friend works at.

30 years ago a friend of mine had a early 70' 240z. We took it all over SoCal in the 80's and it always turned heads wherever we went. Driving through the canyons to and from the beach always got the adrenaline going. Fast forward to now. Gone from California, now in Colorado. All the kids are gone, and a SUV isnt really needed any more to cart teams of kids around anymore. The wife has the 2010 Murano and prior to that it was a 2005 Murano. Needless to say i am a fan of Nissan. And it was time to look for something fun for me after i wrecked my 92 Toyota PU. I knew that i wanted a sporty looking coupe. So I really looked around (Mazda3's, Audi TT's, Infinity M35's, Hundai Velositer, and the Nissan Z's). I knew it was going to be used which is a bit of a gamble when purchasing a sports car because they may have been run pretty hard by the previous owners. The Hundai was out quickly, exterior was nice, interior good, engine (twin turbo 4-cylinder) ok. TT was close. I loved everything about it but labor and potential maintenance costs took it out of the running. The M35 was in the running, as was the Mazda. But after researching the Z's that have been reborn I knew my search was over. I set up a search engine and one came up that was brought in from Auction that morning. I got off work and went to check it out. Exterior looked good, interior fair (leather seats are on their way out but no tears and some of the plastic accents are peeling). After taking it for a test drive i was immediately taken back to my teens (hopefully "Dude" doesn't reenter my vocabulary). I thought about a convertible but living in Colorado i figured it probably wasn't a good idea due to our winters here. I know I'm going to hate myself later this Spring. I've now had it for a week and some little things have come up. I took it up into the mountains and at first everything was great. It handled GREAT, and on the winding mountain roads of Colorado. However, half way through the Temperature "red lines" and Check engine light comes on. Needless to say there were lots of F-words and S-words. I took it in to have it checked out and thermostat is bad, maybe blockage in coolant lines, dead battery, A/C belt removed (hopefully it actually works). If this is all it needs I'll consider myself lucky. In short, I absolutely LOVE my car. My wife isn't sold on it yet she would have liked me to get another SUV or luxury sedan. But, after I let her drive it (I haven't let her yet) I'm sure she'll get on board. And if you are looking for a 2 door sports car i highly recommend this one. Additionally, the "Z community" is GREAT and clubs are located in most major metropolitan areas. They are great sources of information and tips. 6 Months Later.... Still love the car. Couple of points.... Interior is below average and the leather is starting to crack on the driver side. But I guess normal for age and living most of its life in NM. Standard sound system sucks. The firewall between the cabin and engine is thin and residual heat enters the cabin.

Revenge of the Sith!

This car GREATLY exceeded my expectations for driving in severe snow, rain, and or blistering hot days. It your driving skills are hot this car will not fail you! With the slightest upgrades you will blow a 370Z right off the road! What was Nissan thinking? I LOL every time a mustang, camaro, or any MOPAR gets behind me in a deep curve and it's like engaging the hyperdrive and accelerating to light speed leaving the Galactic villains in the DUST! You have to keep you eye on the oil levels but Installing catch cans seem to sole to oil consumption problem. 32 mpg with the a/c running. The a/c feel like Antarctica! I'm 6'4" and the ride suits me just fine. I need a stretch break after 5 straight hours on the highway but can adjust the seats to make an 8 hr ride. The stability controls are superior! If you skid on ice the ABS brakes engage and the CPU rights the car and set you straight! It's hard to have fun on any slippery surface. You have to turn the Stab. control off then have some fun! I also have a Nissan 240sx xe. It's a lot of fun but the 350Z is double the fun power torque and agility. Every one stares in awe as you cruise or flash by. What ever you do, get one of these! I slipped in oil on the street and totaled my Harley, I chose the 350Z over another Harley and know I made the right decision. Caution: this car exceeds the listed speedometer registered!

Purchased a 2005 Z Roadster Enthusiast with 91k miles. It was in good condition (better than most I saw). The performance/engine are in excellent condition. My husband is doing some interior work. This car will look new come this weekend. I LOVE THIS CAR! I have never owned a Z. I hated driving, it was something I had to do. Now I drive for no reason at all. I never imagined a 9 year old beauty would make everyday so much better! Even at it's age no one can guess how old it is. They stare at this car! It's Chrome Silver Metallic with the burnt orange seats (love those). The speed, handling, appearance, EVERYTHING is 5 plus stars. Get ready for compliments. One of the best made cars EVER!

Fast, fun, and beautiful.

September, 2012, I was lucky enough to find a 2005 350Z with just 10,500 miles. I bought it from a retiree that garage kept it from day one. In 1.5 years I've already added 20K miles because I want to drive it everywhere I go. It could be a little faster but with 300 horses, it's hard to complain about. It also draws a lot of looks and I get compliments often. Mine is Daytona Blue and the color really pops. I did replace the Bose stereo but there's nothing else you can do to make this car any better. The gas mileage in the city isn't great, around 19mpg, but I took it on a 1,500 mile trip, all highway with the AC on, and got an average of 31mpg, believe it or not.

An amazing, reliable, and fun car

All around, the best car I've ever owned. I got this car my senior year of high school, with 135,000 miles on it. As you would think, I was scared to death that with all the miles, the car would always be in the shop. I was wrong. This car never had ONE problem with it. Took it back and forth to college for a year as well (140 miles one way). Car is so fun to drive, accelerates fast, and isn't a bad car to drive on long trips. Only downside is the lack of room, but if you're buying a convertible, you would expect that. Had to take the time to write a review on this car, because it never let me down, and was the best car ever. You WILL NOT regret buying this car. Loved my z!

i bought my 2005 base 6 sod manual. car runs great. had some little problems but was purchased used at 78k miles. thermostat went out which caused the car to over heat, headlights went out. and battery went bad, all simple problems. after owning it for a year. i noticed transmission makes a rattling noise at idle. also clutch feels very soft, i've read lots of discussions saying clutch's and tranny's go out a lot in these. also nissan dealerships are never helpful. the car is amazing. couldnt have a better sports car for the money. still looks modern, just know that if you buy one, it's a gamble, and the dealership wont help.

Bought this car in early 2013, with 130k miles. A lot of miles, but the car looked too good to give up. Had it for almost 6 months already and nothing has been wrong with the car. Accelerates fast, great bose stereo, and overall a super fun car to just haul butt in. Get a lot of compliments on it as well. Great car for the price!!

I looked at 4 05 z's at 4 dealerships. They all had a tear about 6 inches on the driver side. I figured I could just tape it for now and get a new top in about a year. I also used it as a negotiating tool. 10 months of owner ship and the tear grew to over a foot. I sewed it but two other rips appeared in the back a few months ago and continue to grow. Professional replacement $2000 The worst is the oil issue. I have to either oil change every 1100 miles or add another 5 quarters to get by to 3000. It appears oil is getting into two of the cylinders. It destroyed two spark plugs. If you car blows out heavy smoke when you crank it don't buy. Nissan does not back up their products.

Truely a pleasure

Well, the very fact that I am taking the time a. sign up for edmunds & b. to review a vehicle, pretty much sums it up- either a great car or I'm very upset. The 350z is amazing.. I also own a Honda civic (great car), but I haven't been able to get out of the Z yet. This car makes you feel like a champion every time you drive it. I honestly would sleep in it if I could. Looks good, sounds freakin awesome (class leading exhaust in my opinion- leave it stock!!), and performs & handles like a dream. Highly recommend- coming from a bang for your buck kind of guy.. Also, Nissan is a reliable engine, what more is needed?

It's a blast!!!

I bought my '05 Z as a CPO with 18k on it in October of 2009. 34k on it now. A windy mountain road will allow you to experience this car's full capabilities. (My wife doesn't tell me to get something practical anymore!) The styling can get you more attention than desired. Ever since I powder coated the wheels black, I get challenged to race every time I take it out. My Z had been trouble free until recently. The left rear wheel bearing went out ($250 fix covered by the CPO warranty) & a short in the dash gauge cluster's mother board ($1,100 fix not covered). At such low mileage, even the dealer agreed this is unusual. But every car has its hiccups. Hopefully it'll be a while before the next.

Ilove my Z33!!

Fun car to drive on back roads, esp. along the Calif coastline. Just be aware of maint costs. I drive it easy, only 7K a year, and still replaced 6 tires, tranny, the top, clutch pedal, clutch and flywheel. Clutch chatter is embarrassing! But, she has power and hugs the roads nicely. Stops on a dime and accelerates briskly. I think the traction control is about to go--what happened to Japanese engineering? Oh and subwoofer failed twice (note I owned 2 other Nissans but not sports cars and loved them)

Fast, fun - get lots of compliments all the time everywhere I go. Went to lease blue, came home with black. Love the dash, foot pedals and overall appearance of the car. Mileage is OK, depends on how you drive it (lead foot = lower mileage). Normal driving nets better mileage, but it's hard to stay under the speed limit. Would have leased a new one, but the dealers' aren't dealing, so I'm going to keep mine with low mileage, 3,000 mile oil changes and hand washed since I brought her home. She's a keeper.

Just traded my '04 FX45 for my first Z, and love my outcome! Couldn't have made a better decision. The exterior rocks and the comments and wow factor from others is much more than the FX. The exhaust amazing. The stock stereo/speakers are a lot to get used to after having a Bose system. Probably have to replace as it looks and sounds low quality. The red exterior rocks. I'm loving my Zed!!!

I have owned Mazda and Mercedes roadsters and this is by far the best. Others have complained of blind spots. I have none, you just have to set the mirrors correctly. I will buy again.

I bought my Nissan 350Z Roadster Convertible just a few months ago and I love the exterior. If they would leave the exterior alone and focus on making a high quality/high tech interior, this car would be above and beyound for what you get. The 280hp engine is awesome. I get from 0-60 so quickly that I blow everyone else around me away and leave them fading into the background. The only con I have with this car is the quality of some of the interior materials. The leather is crap. The interior design overall is boring. I hope when Nissan comes out with its next version, they spruce up the interior and do minor modifications to the exterior. Nissan keep up the good work!

I bought my blue roadster about six months ago and it's been fun to drive on the back roads of California. Amazing how steady it is above 100 mph, but frustratingly heavy clutch at road speed. Handles great and most of the Z's gremlins have been fixed under warranty (buzzy shifter knob, rattling axle bolts(!?), failed air bag sensor, etc).

Great fun car. Power, handling, brakes are excellent. Suspension is stiff but this is what you get with a car that is glued to the road. Great combination of straight-ahead speed and cornering capabilities. When applying the brakes, watch out for cars coming from behind you; no way they can slow as rapidly as you can. Exhaust sound is cool - reminds me of an Austin Healy 3000! You have to 50 years old to remember that car. Only problem is that on the interstate I can't tell if I'm going 70 or 90 mph without looking constantly at the speedometer. Too many speeding tickets verify this comment. By the way, 70 to 90 acceleration is way good!

Great car. Only problem was motor on window failed at 18 months. Dealer fixed it under warranty. Love the convertible, sounds good w/ good acceleration. Easy to damage or scrape front end on curbs, etc. due to low front end. (Part of the appeal of this car, but something to be aware of). Aluminum hood can be damage easily just by leaning on it, or in my case damaged by hail. I understand it saves weight, but again, something to be aware of.

This car is a blast to drive. The interior is stylish, but some areas are awkward. The cup holders are located too far back on the center console to reach and occasionally my elbow will turn on the heated seat option. The interior "plastics" are not impressive, but the ride and exterior design more than make up for it. Engine sounds great. Wicked blind spot takes some getting used to. Bose stereo sounds excellent, and the seats are very comfortable. Great sports car for the money.

This is a nimble machine, which you can tell has nearly perfect weight balance. There is exhilirating performance but I am not going to say there isn't room for some minor improvements. Second gear in this car is a total joy, I would like to see a higher redline and the shift points set a bit differently. This probably has one of the best and most consistent power bands of any manual car I have ever driven. Unfortunately, it doesn't take much effort to exhaust this car's limitations in gears 1 thru 4. I get more compliments on this car than I can count and thoroughly enjoy driving it around with the top down. The short wheelbase is surprisingly not a problem except at high speeds.

This is my third Z and have been driving them for over 24 years. They keep getting better. My current 2005 anniversary 6 speeder is the best yet. The car has character and class in styling, handling, mechanical performance and most of all pride in ownership. These cars just feel and fit right, like slipping on a leather glove. The road handling characteristics on twisting roads shows balance and stability which gives the driver confidence to negotiate the next tighter turn. It's an adrenalin rush for a fair price.

I NEVER expected a Multi-Valved, Twin OHC engine to ever be so smooth and liner all the way through it's power band. The engine in of itself was the deciding factor in my purchase. The handling was indeed a factor as was the styling but I've also found the build quality be be very good. I bought the Base model through my ignorance but have plans of the purchase of an enthusiast model next.

I wasn't really liking the convertible vs. the coupe, but I looked at them anyway. I traded in my CLK-500 cab to buy a 2 seater Z. It's mostly for weekend drives, but I love it! I like it more now, than when I actually bought it. You must drive with the top down though. You will get in an accident with the top up; you cannot see a thing, whatsoever. The sad thing, is that you will never use 1st gear. In fact I think I've used it 3 times for the 900 miles I've put on the car. Now I know why Infinity is making a 7-speed skyline. I looked between the S-2000, Z4, and SLK models. This topped them all.

After thinking long and hard about it, I decided to get this car over the Subaru WRX STI. I don't have kids yet and when I do, I know I won't be getting another sports car until they've grown. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and am very pleased. There is no Performance model for the 2006 model year, I guess they wanted to sell more Track models, but by far I think this has the best features (DSC, VDC, auto-dimming mirror) for the price (don't need to pay for leather, bad bose stereo, stock GPS etc). For those who want more HP out of this thing it's fairly easily done with aftermarket performace parts like a twin turbo. I've seen you can get it to 500HP if you really wanted to.

Couldn't be happier with my Z - has testosterone and class, with better performance & lower price than BMW Z3, Audi TT or Porsche Boxter. Acceleration & handling are excellent, and especially smooth at 80 - 100 mph. Leather interior & Bose soundsystem are sophisticated & sporty. Could use better use of glove box & trunk space, but you don't buy these for carrying capacity. Great low-end torque blows by Mustangs & Kompressors alike. Coupe quieter than convertable - for performance lovers....

This is the first time I have experienced driving a Z, I am in total awe of its performance and handling. I bought the Ultra yellow Roadster, it has every head turning. The six speed is awesome, the clutch and shifting makes the driving experience wonderful. The leather seats and all the extra accessories makes driving the car a better experience. I would recommend anyone that is looking for an inexpensive sports car, go to the nearest Nissan dealership and test drive for yourself. Then you will get the ultimate review.

In my research for sport performance cars back in 2004 the 350Z came out to be my best option over the Mazda RX-8, Mustang GT, Chrysler Crossfire and Honda S2000. The V6 engine with 274 lb- ft of torque and 287 Hp offers around 22 to 23 average mpg which is great for a sport car. Plenty of torque and interior space over Honda S2000. Interior plastic trim tolerances far better over the Mustang GT 2004 model. Interior design is comfortable for adult drivers up to 6 ft tall. The touring model with automatic transmission and traction control is excellent for everyday driving and leverages shifting fun vs. ease of driving.

Great car, a few glitches.

Overall I love this car - it looks great and handles great. The performance is great and though the ride is stiff, I find it to be comfortable even for 2 or 3 hour rides. I get about 19 mpg which is all surface streets, even getting on it occasionally :). The handling is very neutral - not too much oversteer, just what you'd expect from this configuration. The interior is, in my opinion, just right for a sports car - nice and clean, a little spartan. the exterior is just beautiful, especially in titanium with the 18" wheels and brembo brakes. I do feel that there are some issues with the build quality. To date I've encountered a leaking roof, a drivetrane rattle, misaimed headlights.

Build quality is the worst I've ever seen. 2,000 dollars in rotor work before the car had 18,000 miles on it. Window stuck, trans was a mess and the list goes on. New tires on the front at 8,000, 12,000 and 16,000 miles. The best deal I ever made was selling it. I'll never buy a Nissan again nor will any of the 47 family members who drive by Nissan. I love it. It's a GREAT car, mixing the drivability and fun of American 'muscle' and the weight and handling of more hardcore sports cars. Finding a line somewhere between the portly Mustang GT and the more-purist Honda S2000, the 350Z is a classic example of excellent lines, medium displacement (3.5L V6=more torque than typical pocket rockets) and acceptable (3200lb) curb weight. No one who drives the Z will be disappointed with the performance so long as they keep in mind the price and 'goal' market. Particularly, the 350Z beats everything in close competition (3L+ V6), the new Eclipse (less hp, less mpg), the Crossfire (less hp, worse handling), and the R32 (looks, probably mpg, too).

Still have my 2003 Maxima for times when this might not be practical. In the past have had a Mitsubishi 300 GTVR-4, couple of Honda Preludes incl Vtec, etc and two Maximas. Nissan does a great job. I love this car! I bought a brickyard color, 2003 touring model back in december 2004 and would gladly do it again. The car was purchased sight unseen from a dealer in Skokie, IL. I live in Alabama. I shopped around the internet for months until I found the best deal I thought I could get. I specifically wanted the burgundy color and an automatic with all the goodies. The car was shipped down here and I have been delighted with it since its arrival. I would definitely recommend this type of car for someone who wants to have fun while driving but also wants to know they are buying a reliable product.

Want to look good on the road? Then this may be your car. The body styling is sleek and exotic. It is fitted with an engine that sounds mean and has the zip to really move you. The true test of ownership, though, comes from driving for several months. After that, you realize the Z requires patience at the repair shop and money - lots of it. During the brief periods that the car is out of the shop, it is fun to drive. The bucket seats are narrow and can be quite uncomfortable after several hours of driving. Mechanical problems, dealer/warranty issues, and an uncomfortable ride are the price for looking good on the road. Unfortunately, the fun soon subsides.

This car is incredible. I grew up with the Z car and this is a great addition to the improving line from Nissan. Without even pushing the car, I have come to respect what it can really do. This is not made for going through the drive thru or strapping on a bike rack, it simply performs. Young kids today buy cheap cars and sink money into them that only makes them sound horrible. This car sounds great and blows all the little tin cans away.

This throaty 350Z V6 burbles happily at idle, thrums at speed, and roars with excitement during acceleration, but without the *screaming* that the S2000 and RX-8 force the driver to endure. This is a sports car and it's not designed for everybody. I had a back spasm for a week as my body adjusted to the tight seat and high window sill (where my elbow rests when I lazily cruise). The Z is a great highway commuter car; I get 27mpg on the highway cruising at 85mph. A quick downshift into 5th and I can pass anything with ease.

In the past 10+ years I've had the opportunity to own some really great high performance cars: corvettes, mercedes, BMW's. This little Nissan is by far my favorite car of all time! It fits me like a glove and is a blast to drive! In a few of the other 'high performance' cars I was not as comfortable with the drive or the performance. This car truly feels like an extention of me. It also attracts some attention which is always fun! I love the fact that I see very few other Nissan 350Z Convertibles when I am out ~ and there seems to be a corvette or BMW at every corner. It is really fun to drive something that looks and feels 'special'. I plan to keep this car for a very long time.

Gotta love this car! Z's have been in my family since 1970. About this new model 350Z... only two things that i find a bit inconvenient.. It has a bad blindspot on the passenger side. No matter how i adjust the mirror, or twist and turn to see, even when the passenger seat is moved up, it's impossible to see the rear panel. Scary at times when pulling out of parking spaces. Another thing is that there is no real glove compartment in the front of the car. Another twist and turn, and if you're driving, not safe! It's behind passenger seat so if you need maps, etc, they can't access it easily either. what i wouldn't do to get my 1986 300ZX back... ahhh the one that got away....

Always get compliments on its appearance. Step on the gas and fall back into your seat. Great handling and a real blast to drive. A fun spirited car. All of this wrapped up in a very reasonable price. I also purchased an extended warranty (7 yrs 84k miles) which I thought was reasonably priced.

Love.

Don't even think about driving it if you aren't planning to buy it. Because once you drive it...you'll fall in love. It's so quick, sleek, and sexy I knew we have to buy it. We've had no problems in our first year of ownership, only pure joy and admiration for such a beautiful machine. My husband and I are both 6' tall and are comfortable as can be. If you're interested in hauling a bunch of stuff around, this car is not for you, but I take it weekly to get groceries and it's perfect. We did store it over the winter as it doesn't do well on Snow, but it handles like a champ in rain. It's a sportscar, so don't expect a sedan ride...it's low to the ground and bumpy. But...worth it!

Just 2 weeks old and can't get enough. So far so good. Excellent off the line, great steering feedback. Convertable is a breeze (Easy to use). The throaty sound is a nice touch. Excellent on Highways and shows little effort while cruising at high speeds. Time will tell on the quality and repairs. Interior is utilitarian and not flashy but has the essentials. You have to get Navigation. It works fantastic on this car. I tried to fake it out but to no avail. I also own a BMW328i and used to consider it my sports car....but no longer is that the case. Hopefully will have years of enjoyment....so far so good.

The Z is fantastic. Initally people followed me to find out what kind of car it was. We live in the country and it's great to drive into the city with top down most days. Even cool days with elec seats and heater on it is just terrific. Absolutely tremendous sound system (try Billie Idol "White Wedding" on high volume...fantastic! Light in the backend though so you gotta slow down to live...but hey, it's so much fun to drive! Great carz!!! Roadster only though!!!!!

Nothig but a good time so far. Still turns heads and averages 24 MPG. The Z eats tires though so be prepared to change out every other year. The grip on turns is ferocious, this is where I usually pass everyone up. Hard to question the bang for the buck quotient with the Z. Especially the roadster. Are there cars with better interiors and stereos...sure, but for under 40K this one is hard to beat.

Very nice winding out the gears after hitting 2nd gear. Hugs road nicely on turns. I disagree with the "take" that it is so hard to see out back, on the hard tops anyway. Shifts very quickly. Jumps from 65 to 120mph.

A pleasant surprise that contradicted my original opinion was how much the back would hold in luggage, groceries - stuff in general. I drive it 5 minutes to work, but I have also taken it on a couple of long trips and it handles great. I also love the great use of space. Whether I am driving to work, around the city of Houston, or on a trip, it is a great car to have.

Well, I took a hiatus and just got my new 2nd car....wow!! This car is pure dynamite. I live in South Florida, and when the temp is cool enough, I pull this baby out of the garage, and can drive all night with my now balding head enjoying the cool breezes. As a pilot and a driving enthusiast I find the Z a perfect sports car. The suspension is tight and the handling is extremely responsive. I can max perform the car and still feel totally in control of all parameters. The engine performance is so very impressive providing a smooth torque curve and extremely quick response. The troaty sound of the exhaust system keeps you informed of the engines performance but most of all it just sounds great! I considered the BMW Z-4 but the styling of the 350 is better and the cost is $5,000.00 less with equal or better performance.

The original 2003,serial number was in the 3700's, had it's obvious opportunities. Nissan Corp handled the tire issue, the window grease issue and a leather seat issue with flawless professionalism. Knowing this, and having experienced the cars performance and style gave me the confidence to go for the Roadster. Black on Black with the Brembo breaks the top down... 1st Class.. Black tie look.

I take the long way home just to make the experience last longer. My Z totally makes my day and improves my mood after a long hard day at the office. I actually can forget about work once I get in. It's fast and fun. Taking corners is a blast! It absolutely rocks! So much thinking has gone into this car. Get the GPS, especially if you are logistically disadvantaged! The stereo is impressive. My tires are feathering on the insides after Nissan did re-alignment several times and it still prematurely wore out. The car drifts to the right immediately when i drove my car the 1st week i got it. There are structural problems of suspension ,expect a loud roar from your tires. Nissan only will prorate your tire eventhough the warranty is still valid. Poor customer service, lack of respect for customers. 3rd gear grind had to get transmission replaced, headlights condensate on the inside which dealer won't fix.

My son owns a brand new 350z which he purchased in nov of last year The mileage at this time is very low based on the following. If anyone would have explained up front that the car is terrible in snow, ice and rain I am sure he would have looked elsewhere for a vehicle. The car it self is beautiful, however when you can only drive it on a dry day it really take the fun and enjoyment out of the car. With the weather we have had over the past few months, he has been forced to take my car instead of his. This is the only way he could get to work, as his z had to stay in the drive way.

I like virtually everything about my 2004 Nissan 350Z Roadster. The only things I would change are the color of the clock/radio display numbers in the daytime and the oil dipstick, which seems overly difficult to get in and out. I get compliments and admiring looks everytime I drive the Z. It is especially fun with the top down, but has been very warm and snug with the top up in bad or cold weather. The performance is superb, with remarkable acceleration and excellent braking. The paint, fit, and finish are excellent, and the fully automatic top raises and lowers flawlessly. This is one of the best looking cars to hit the market, and could easily sell for more than the sticker price. Superb!

Had my Z for almost a week and so far i am very impressed with the car. Two things that anybody who is looking into this car should keep in mind is 1) this is a heavy car for being a 2 seater, somewhat reminds me of a mustang i used to own 2) with a car capable of such high performance being driven on the street, it takes a lot of restraint to not get into a lot of trouble with the law enforcers. You should test drive this car if you think you can live without any substantial trunk space. If you are looking for a primary vehicle and you know that you will not be able to cary enough in the divided back of this car, don't drive it. Driving this car leads to buying this car.

For your money, the best 2-seat sports car on the market. Great styling with close to 300hp to back it up. The last 4 months and 5,000 miles down the road, I enjoy getting behind the wheel each and every day that my wife lets me. We are both very happy with our purchase. We bought the Z and Murano SUV at the same time. The service at our dealership is excellent and we don't regret our decision on either vehicle. The Z leather interior is comfortable and the Touring package seating is fine for 2-4 hour drives both in the city and on the freeway. The Z gets plenty of compliments from lookers and the only thing I would add would be a 19" chrome wheel package.

Bought a black Roadster Enthusiast on 2/21 - so far so good. The fun factor is off the scale - I love the throaty growl when you put your put into the accelerator and the ride and handling is great. Interior comfort is good and we went without leather since we're in Arizona. With the top up blind spots are severe but manageable. The trunk is acceptable - much better than the Crossfire we test drove. Wind noise is noticable, but you can have a conversation with the top up or down. I have a concern about the tire feathering and will keep an eye on that issue as we drive. We're expecting many, many years and tons of miles from this quality Nissan product.

Guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

This car will turn heads wherever you go. Little kids, men, women - almost everyone seems to go for the look of the Z. The 350's performance and handling cannot be beat without spending thousands more. The car begs for open road, which sometimes makes me wish I didn't live in DC. I took it out to my friend's house in the country last weekend and let him drive it for a while. He got three separate raves on the car in the space of an hour. Of course, he claimed credit by pretending to be the owner. I had to reclaim the driver's seat before his ego burst.

I would hold off on buying this car for now. My tires only had 13k miles and it was seriously wearing on the inner walls. An alignment didn't fix it. Also, the tires 'roared' loudly. Nissan service wouldn't replace the entire cost of tire. This should've been a re-call. Until they fix this issue, i repeat HOLD OFF ON BUYING IT! The car is fun to drive with handling and exceleration. Again, just wait until they fix this issue of tire feathering before you buy it. It was a pain dealing with Nissan.

It has pros and cons, but the pros are mostly qualities that you can't use in normal daily driving:nimble handling and quick acceleration. I fell in "love" with this car strictly for it's eye appeal...I think it's a work of art. However, the Eclipse GT that I traded in served me better on a daily basis, in terms of comfort, handling, and luggage/personal space. The highly touted Bose sound system performs best when turned to a high volume. Normal speech on the radio is hard to here..there is a distinct lack of mid frequency response that doesn't lend itself to "talk" radio.

After just 2,000 miles, front tires shot with inner threads worn to create tire roar. Nissan replaced free front tires only. Waited 3 months for those tires, and by that time I had 10,000 plus miles on the car. I paid out of pocket for two rear tires because I wanted tire thread depth to be the same front and back. Front end aligned and new tires temporarily fixed the terribly loud noise in the interior. However changing the camber of the front end now causes the steering to hunt. I must keep constant attention to steering. I feel I have been robbed by Nissan. This problem was known back in 2003. With all the pluses for the vehicle I would not recommend any one buy one. Tire's are $200.each.

If you want to turn heads, have fun and receive compliments on your car...the 350z is the car for you. This is my first two-seater, and the trunk is very cramped however passenger space is sufficient. The interior is pleasant, however not luxury. But the performance and exterior styling makes up for any shortfalls this car may have.

I bought my Z used with only 6800 miles on it and got a great deal. So, the price/ performance ratio is fantastic. Heads turn when I drive this, people even stop me in parking lots. People pull up in Porsches wanting to race me, I just tell them my car looks better than theirs. The engine is great, get the KN air filter and release the horses to 290. The pedal to engine response is tight but the tiptronic shifter could be more responsive but the handling of the car is smooth and flawless. Being 6'2'' I fit perfect into these racing type seats, if you are 6'5'' and above get the G35. The layout of the interior is highly functional and easy to use but needs a little flash.

The car itself was great but i found that i was buying tires every 4 or 5 months. i am 47 years old and the only driver of this car. I do not drive fast. I do not burn the tires. I don't even hit the corners hard. I have a friend who owns a tire dealership and he told me he has put on alot of tires for the new Z and they cannot find any tires that last over 5,000 or 6,000 miles. I am selling the car.

I am dissapointed with my new Nissan 350Z, because the engine service light came on even before 100 miles. I brought it in for service, and my dealer told me that they have to order parts, it has been ten days, they don't have replacement part yet. Now the AT warning lights has started blinking, telling me to bring it for service to have the transmission checked. I bought a new car, so I can enjoy driving without without any worries, but it seems I got a LEMON

IÂ’ve read just about every post on the Nissan 350Z out here and have concluded that if indeed you are in the market for a sports car like this you should check out some of the user sites. There you will find car owners who have been thrilled or anything but impressed with the car. I owned a 350Z and was thrilled to get rid of it. Within eight thousand miles it needed new front tires. At eightteen thousand miles I brought new brakes and rotors. From the grease smears on the windows to the leather seats showing wear within four months. Nissan really has some problems to solve. The Bose system is anything but impressive, if you donÂ’t believe me, ask the people at Bose. I was disapointed Nissan lost my business.

The Nissan 350Z roadster is by far the best value of any $40,000 sports car on the market. The ride, performance and styling are something that you would expect in a car that would be $55,000 plus. I would reccomend this car to anyone who can afford it.

Just got back on a trip of 5,150 miles and enjoyed the driving experience in my 2004 Nissan 350Z. I was supprised at the amount of luggage was able to get in the car. I was gone 16 days and had clothes left. I'm 61 years old and have driven Cadillacs most of the time, but this one was more fun to drive on the road on long trips. I have heard that a there have been complaints about the visibility in the mirrors, but I didn't have a problem with them.

The Nissan 350Z will be a classic. It is the most watched car in my town. I love the material used for the interior. The roadster has the top down in 20 seconds. There is very little wind inside the cockpit with the top down. Even with temps as low as 40 degrees I am still comfortable.

My 2005 Nissan 350Z is amazing! It handles very well, is fun to drive, looks sharp, and has great pick up! The Touring pkg. comes with almost all the bells and whistles at a great price. The Bose audio system has a great sound. Pit falls - no ash tray, no auto head lights, cup holders are behind driver except one (which I use as an ash tray). I would highly urge anybody looking for a sports car to take a look at the 2005 350Z! No regrets here!

The 2004 350-Z Roadster is the 4th Z car that I have owned. By far, its the most powerful in terms of acceleration. It can go from zero to sixty in a heart beat! Be careful ... it's not for the faint of heart. Though the interior is not flashy, it still works. The sound system is better that any of the previous Z cars built. The 6 disc in dash CD player is superb. For the money I couldn't find a better buy. I am sure that I have just as much fun driving my 350-Z as any BMW, Audi, Porsche owner and I have more cash left over. Fun doesn't have to cost a fortune.

I have had the center dash in my 2005 Nissan 350Z replaced nine times. The radio has been replaced three times and I'm waiting to replace it a fourth time. The windshield wipers have never worked correctly and the brakes have made funny noises since I've had the car. The worst part of all of this is the customer service from Nissan. They have been very rude and very hard to work with. When the car worked properly it was fun to drive. But that was just for a short time. I will never in my life buy an Nissan product.

supposed when the door is open, the windows will slide down about half inch and the interior light will be on. However one month after I bought the car, the driver's side window failed to operate as described above. Gas mileage is poor. I paid $500 over invoice from the Long Beach dealer.

The Z is an eye catcher. I have had other drivers follow me to my driveway to ask about the car. They want one too.I have driven the car for 8 hours at a time with stops only for necessities and did feel a little muscle sore in spots but still had a smile on my face. It is a sports car not a road yacht after all. Changing after the first oil change to synthetic oil did give me two more miles per gallon, giving me on the open road 25 and 26 mpg. One very big complaint, I took delivery of the car from the dealer with the front end out of alignment wearing out the new tires in less then 5000 miles. They have not replaced these tires after waiting 2 months already. This is a factory defect.

I drove an '85 Z for 20 years and loved the performance and reliability so bought the new Z. I'm loving it as well. The fuel economony isn't great but I haven't had it long and have been driving "stop and go" around town so it's not a "true" picture of what highway driving fuel use would be. Some say it's a "rough" ride but I say it drives like a sports car should!

I finally decided on a Sports Car I looked at an Audi TT and a 350-Z In my mind after diriving both, there was no Comparison. While the Audi TT had a nice leather interior, this car had no performance unless you went with their 3.2 250 HP Upgrade. Needless to say I drove the Z and it was a no brainer. I bought a Performance model with 18" wheels and VDC. For the money you will be hard pressed to find a car that out performs this. Acceleration in the mid range is impressive along with the superb handling characteristics. While the Z's interiors are not exactly plush, I bought it for the performance and Have no complaints, Its a sports car.

Already commented on many times, the interior components could be higher quality... but ergonomically, they work well. Ample space for the drive and passenger, not much space for luggage though. This car really shines in performance! Tight handling, great power though all gears and at all RPMs, a good feel for the road without beating the driver to death... this car is not for the faint of heart! Great Bose stereo too on the Touring model. Gear shifts on the 6MT are sharp, short And did I mention this is a convertable? Great lines on the car and minimal road noise when top is up, a pleasant surprise... and with top down, its a joy! The top retracts in a mere 20 seconds.

Fun to drive and excellent build quality. The handling and the power are superb. If you want a sportscar that doesn't break the bank and still delivers the sports car experience, this is it. Even the trunk is well done. You can actually put golf clubs in it. The rag top is easy to use and provides a great open air experience. Could use a better arm rest and a glove box.

Driving my new 350Z Roadster has restored a sense of youthful "joy of the road" to my middle-aged heart. This car is quick, responsive and eye- catchingly beautiful. But simultaneously, it gives me the sense of reliablity and safety that I require. Sure, there are minor flaws-- the interior design doesn't match the exterior elegance, the headlights don't come on automatically as darkness falls, although the dash lights do. But all in all, this is an exciting and responsive way to get around.

I purchased my Red 350Z Touring Model in January of 2004 and couldn't be happier. I fell in love with the body style when it was introduced at the LA Auto Show and couldn't wait for it to come out. The interior is comfortable and the controls are easily accessible. One of my friends says it is like sitting in a bullet, which is an apt description. The Z rides like a sports car, but that is why I bought it. It handles like a dream and is not only fast, it is quick and nimble, which is a necessity on LA freeways. On a recent trip to New Mexico I averaged 26.1 MPG and the drive was very comfortable. And, this car is definitely a head turner - one of the best looking cars on the road.

It is a Slice of Heaven!

Always wanted a convertible living in Sunny South Florida. Did my homework and went out and purchased a 2004 350Z. For the money, you can't beat it. As a former Lexus owner, the ride is nowhere near as smooth as the IS300 I had, but in handling, braking, speed and performance the 350Z wins easily. I am 100% satisfied and look forward everyday to cruising topless around South Florida.

I am 49 and waited for a car that caught my atttention well 350z did just that. The performance in this car is life changing. Every time I drive this car I cannot help but smile I find the long way to go to and from where ever I am heading. I have owned 7 Corvettes and this car out passes all my expectations. It is soild responsive and just plain beautiful. The interior is hugs your body. Details are all over the car even in the AC vent with the Z in the vents. The one touch roof opening in the roadster is awsome. I love this car and recommend it. Worth every cent I paid.

Wonderful all around vehicle. The 350 is extremely fun to drive with very predictable handling characteristics. A true sports car and a great value.

I love our new Nissan 350Z!! I still have and cherish my Nissan 280Z, but I knew when I saw the 350Z I had to have it. I have the Sunburst color. My husband added 18" Pirelli tires with NISMO rims. We also added a clear polymer bra to protect the front of the vehicle. This vehicle is a JOY to drive. It is quick and easy to manuever. People are alway commenting about it and looking at it, young and old. Its style is way ahead of the game.

Well, I sold a '65 GTO and bought this one. Does that speak volumes? The fit and finish inside and out is very good. No rattles (roadster),power top works perfectly and fast. The car IS quick ... as fast (0-60) as my Tri-Power GTO. Also, it perform's just fine on REGULAR gas! I've taken out new Honda Civic's with after market additions on them. I love to see their face's when they finally come along side me to see a SENIOR CITIZEN has "flashered" them! They usually give me a "thumbs up"

I can't say enough about this car! I was apprehensive at first because it was so reasonable, pricewise, compared to other true sports cars, but it has proved to be the best auto decision I've every made. Heads turn everywhere I go. The styling is just timeless. The engine is absolutely silky smooth upon acceleration, and the car sticks to the road like velcro! Nissan could easily charge more for this car!!

What can I say?? It is fast it is fun and I am very happy with it. I have the roadster and I enjoy driving it but when the top is down it is nothing but a blast. This car is meant to be a toy. If you can accept it as that you will be very happy. The 350Z is not an every day car. Remember this is a "fun to drive" car.

From the dealership, the ride back which was 700 miles was smooth, firm but not bumpy. I was impressed with the 23.6 miles per gallon at 75 to 80mph all the way back home. Passing other vehicles is beyond a breeze. Having gone from a Corvette to this 350Z for 20000 dollar less, makes absolute sense. Very and I mean very similar qualities. Very comparable

I got the Z in the last week of March. I have to say I haven't been disappointed in any way. I ended up with the auto as a concession to my wife, but I can't say I'm sorry. She loves the car as much as I do. There don't seem to be many in our area, so we continue to get looks everywhere we go. I've driven the car nearly every day since I got it. I think the ergonomics are ok. The stereo is fine, but there is more road noise from the hatch area than I like. Be prepared, the ride is stiff. I never owned a car like this before, and that took some getting used to. I haven't had any of the problems earlier models seemed to have. No problems period!

Great design with matching performance and quality. Owned over 25 autos/trucks, from Ford to Lexus, and the 350Z is the most bang for the buck. The Z is a true sports car and before purchase, test drove the G35 coupe, Corvette, RX8, and Boxster. The Z shines and is well worth a serious look.
