They tell you right away that they're a no pressure/no commission dealership, and it really shows. There are no hassles and high pressure sales tactics. I came in knowing what I wanted, but Travis had some good insight about things I should consider as well. I stopped in the first time on a whim because I happened to be in Wichita and was going to be buying a new car in a few months. I wasn't pressured at all in the time in between stopping in and buying, but I was sent nice reminders that they were looking forward to helping me get the vehicle I wanted. When I was finally ready to purchased, I shopped around for the best offer and called Travis back last. Subaru of Wichita matched the best price I'd found and added in the other odds and ends fees that come along with a car purchase. This was easily the best experience I've had with a car dealer, and he last car I bought was at a dealership a friend works at.

I have been talking with and texting Preston and Collin for about 6 weeks. When I was ready to buy I exchanged a text with model and trim level. One more text exchange to agree on price and I bought a car. I came into the dealership on Monday to complete the financial information (took all of 15 minutes). My wife and I came in this morning and Collin went over the car's features and we signed the paperwork. Best car buying experience we have ever had. Preston and Collin were great to work with. I highly recommend doing business with this dealership.....the sales staff is salaried and earns bonuses on sales volume.....they want to sell cars, not play games.

This was my first time buying a car and the process was much more straightforward than I expected. We found a van that we liked and Collin showed us around, let us test drive the van, and also helped us explore other options. I like that they had Consumer Reports everywhere and helped us look up more info in there. Collin was very nice to work with and related well with us. Once we decided on the van, we sat down with Derek to reach a price agreement. I liked that they said their culture was transparency, honesty, and not high pressure sales. They brought the blue book values to the table, showing they don't have high mark up. Unfortunately, that meant we weren't able to get the price lowered much, but Derek did work with us some and it did seem fair, so we couldn't complain. Plus, they had pizza and root beer floats, so that was a nice bonus. :)

My 12 year old Honda was recently totaled out after being hit while parked in front of a friend's home, so my husband and I were very limited in the amount of time we had to buy a car. We went to Honda, Toyota and Subaru in Wichita to start exploring our options, and I immediately felt comfortable and at ease at Subaru. I've never purchased a car before, and was slightly intimated, but Travis greeting us warmly, asked about our situation, and what we were looking for. (we didn't get this reception at Honda or Toyota) I wasn't planning on test driving anything, but loved the Outback so much I knew I wanted to drive it! We made no commitments that first day, but my husband stayed in touch with Travis throughout the week (we live in KC) and then connected us with our 2014 Outback, at a price that fit our situation perfectly. Travis then personally drove the car to our home within a few days, showed us how to use all the fun features, and answered all of our questions. I would highly, highly recommend Subaru (and Travis!) to anyone looking for a great car buying experience!

I'm glad Travis snagged us when we came in the door to look at cars! I've had less positive experiences in the past at other dealerships and came in completely prepared to have to deal with a lot of sales tactics and inordinate amounts of pressure to "buy now"--and with Travis it was wonderfully chill. He was friendly, never pushy, and fun to work with. When our mechanic identified something pretty small to fix on the car, he ensured that it got taken care of before we purchased it, and was available over cell to clarify minor confusion with the scheduler. When we picked it up and did all the paperwork, it was a Saturday and, in his words, "it's like Superbowl around here on a Saturday"--nevertheless Travis made sure that despite the other families he was working with, he made us feel welcomed, acknowledged, and well-cared for. While there were some (fairly transparent) sales tactics used--let's face it, their job is sales!--there was only one moment where I got mildly annoyed, when offered a deal by the financing department on a particular car we were looking at (I mean, come on, a deal you can only give me for the next 8 hours? That's virtually guaranteed to get me to hard pass, since I strongly dislike being pressured into a snap decision.)All-in-all, I heartily recommend visiting Subaru of Wichita, and seeking Travis out specifically. If and when I'm in the market for a car (the vehicle purchased was for my fiance) I will most likely visit this dealership first.

Looking for used car on the web can be scary. Subaru of Wichita posted many images of the vehicle for sale on cars.com and included lots of information to review but I live 650 miles away ! I contacted a member of their "Non Commissioned" sales team by phone to make sure the vehicle was still available.Many e-mails followed with questions and additional request for dealer documentation of service and inspection records, all provided in a timely manner. I made one last request, the lowest price they could offer for the sale of this vehicle and they dropped the price 12%.! Not one to decide things "Sight Unseen", we flew to Wichita to see for ourselves. Upon our arrival, minutes later, we were test driving the vehicle then inspecting it thoroughly. We decided to make this long distance purchase and drive our vehicle home, all 650 miles with no problems or concerns what so ever.We found Subaru of Wichita to be an upscale no pressure dealership that is designed to accommodate all potential customers. With no pressure sales, service, parts or just wanting to look, this was a busy but organized experience. We were treated with courtesy and respect at all times and confident we were provided with all the information available to make our decision to purchase.Thank you Subaru of Wichita.

This was my first time buying a car anywhere. I had looked around at about 4 other dealerships and did not feel as comfortable at any of them as I did at Subaru of Wichita. It was clean inside and offered snacks and refreshments for everyone. They had nickelodeon playing for my siblings too which was really nice! A smaller dealership but definitely a nice one at that. I had found the car I liked online and made an appointment to come in later that day and Joe Herrman was the man who had helped me out. He was fantastic! Respectful, well dressed, and he knew what he was talking about. A great guy and a great dealership that were willing to negotiate on price of the car, which I felt was fair. I will definitely refer to my friends and family in the future. I loved my experience!

I have read the reviews for several of the Subaru models online and had to go test drive one for myself. Decided to pay Subaru of Wichita a visit and couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. The sales staff are very knowledgeable and genuinely enthusiastic about the products they are selling. Needless to say I ended up purchasing a 2016 Crosstrek for myself - Thanks Travis and Scott! Simply put this was the easiest, most straight forward new car purchases my wife and I have ever experienced. We were so pleased with our new Crosstrek and the buying experience we had with this dealership that 3 weeks later we ended up purchasing a second vehicle - a 2016 Outback for my wife. Highly recommend this dealership.

Walking into the dealership alone is a pleasant, relaxing experience - which is rare in the auto industry. We were promptly greeted, quickly connected with a sales rep and treated with extreme respect and care. Our sales rep was knowledgeable and really listen to addressed all of our needs and concerns and did NOT try to up sell. No one was pushy. Spenser and Demetrius were wonderful with follow up and so helpful. Both going way above and beyond. I will buy cars from here from now on. 100% recommend this dealership!

Travis Nebergall was kind and helpful. I had many questions for him and several things I asked him to stay on top of throughout my purchase and he did a good job of putting up with me. His responses weren't always in what i would call a timely manner, but he did eventually find out the answers to my questions. In his defense, it was a busy month for him and I was somewhat demanding. Travis continued to take care of needs even after the deal was done and finalized. I would highly recommend requesting to work with Travis Nebergall.

My contact with Subrau started with a text from Brittany. Who was very nice and answered all my question via text. She then set a meeting up with Sam, he gave me a lot of information that answered some of my questions, he then added Daniel to the team. Who stayed with me until we closed the deal. When I would throw him what I thought was a hard question, he would bat me an answer into the left field for a home run. Then Daniel added Derek to the team, who had his work cut out for him. I'm on SSD and Derek was still able to help me. Then Daniel added Joe who was able to lower my car insurance plus get renters insurance for me. Lack of integrity in service department.

This dealership gets one star for their service department. I took my Suzuki (a car I bought there when it was Suzuki of Wichita) there for a minor part replacement. After the damage was done the incompetent "mechanic" Derek stated that he didn't know much about Suzukis. $200 later the car was left in a condition that was not safe to drive. The only response I could get from their service department was that they would look at it if I paid them more money. The car was exponentially worse than when I brought it in and the made no attempt to fix their error. This dealership is severely lacking in integrity in their service dept. It is definitely not the same quality of dealership as when I bought my car there.Fortunately, I took it to a real mechanic who had it fixed in 10 minutes for $20. Seriously.This dealership was great in the past but I will not do business with them at all in the future.

I called a week prior to needing the typical 30,000 mile service on my car. The lady I spoke with was very polite and helpful. She gave me a quote for the work. Since the shop is open until 6:30 pm, I asked if I could get a late afternoon appt for the work. She said it would take at the absolute most 1.5 hours to complete, so a 4:30 pm appt was very do-able. I arrived on time for my appt and said I was there for 30,000 mile service. He asked if I had an appointment because normally they aren't done so late in the day. After telling him I had made an appointment, he pulled my pre-printed paperwork from a stack of papers, and grumbled about "the girls" need to be told not to schedule this service late in the day. He asked if I had been given an estimate, so I told him yes and how much. He then complained again that obviously the girls hadn't given me the right estimate because a lot of times the differential fluid needs to be changed, which is another (significant amount). I asked him to make sure the mecahnic wrote down the actual wear measurements for my brakes, and to not add pressure to my tires. He made note of those on the paperwork. After a reasonable amount of time, he came to me in the waiting area, and said the mechanic highly recommended the differential fluid be changed, so I agreed to it. Shortly before 6:00, I went to ask him a question, and during the conversation I saw my car being driven out of the bay, get parked, and the mechanic dropped off my key on his desk. He said my car would be done shortly, and I told him that actually I had just seen my car being pulled out while we were talking, and pointed my key out to him. He said to give him a minute so he could basically enter the work into the computer and prepare the bill. I stepped aside, and the customer behind me started asking him a question. I walked away, and after 10 minutes started checking on his progress thru the window. Other service employees were milling around, and he was still talking to the customer that was behind me, and had paid his bill. Another 5 minutes went by with no change, so I walked back into the service area. No other employees offered to help him out, or to assist in getting me on my way. When he was finally done talking to the customer that had been behind me, he started preparing my bill. He told me the tire pressure hadn't been touched, and that was probably the fastest 30,000 mile service he had seen... I said the mechanic probably wanted to get home. I asked wear the brake wear measurements were (I didn't see them on the receipt), and he said they hadn't been recorded, but didn't offer to get the mechanic and ask what they were. He gave me the standard "brake wear depends on your driving habits" routine, which made me wonder if the brake wear had even been checked, because the inspection wasn't listed on my receipt like other inspections. He couldn't even bring himself to say "thank you" when I left. In my opinion, he was quite rude to me and his co-workers (the lady that scheduled my appt). I won't go back and pay top dollar for questionable and rude service.

I hate waiting at dealerships for paperwork to get done, and financing to come through. It is usually a gigantic waste of time. I live in Kansas City and found the exact certified pre-owned CROSSTREK that I wanted at Subaru of Witchita. I sent in pictures of my trade, and worked out everything over the phone. Driving 2.5 hours to turn around and drive another2.5 hours was not my ideal way to end my week. However, I asked the dealership if they could get me in and out in 30 minutes or less. THEY DID IT! WITH TIME TO SPARE! They worked with me that way that worked for me. It was an awesome experience. I would recommend working with Preston, Sam, or Samuel the next time you are looking for a new car- they were amazing to work with!

I have never trusted or even liked car dealers, until I met Roger and Travis at Subaru of Wichita. Travis was very patient and listened to what I wanted. Roger is a Finance wizard and explored and explained all my options. And Travis took the time to find me what I needed and wanted. I must have test drove 10 cars. Neither of them stopped helping until I finally said "this is the one".

Understanding the importance of research when it comes to car buying, I came to Subaru of Wichita looking for a very specific, difficult to acquire car that a third-party website stated they had; unfortunately, Subaru of Wichita sold that car a few days previously and I was devastated. Not to give up hope, Smitty and everyone else at Subaru of Wichita attempted to find me this specific, difficult to acquire car to no avail. I came into car buying very closed-minded, but Smitty suggested I try some similar cars and we went through quite a few to still no avail. Throughout the entire arduous process, Smitty and everyone else at Subaru of Wichita treated me with the utmost respect even when it seemed like I would not purchase a car at all. I probably spent 20 hours in one week looking at different cars, and I was welcomed each time with welcoming smiles and friendly faces. Employees would call me by my first name and immediately give me an update on the search.I never intended to end up with the Subaru Impreza that I have now, but after trying 10+ cars and researching quite a bit, I determined that the Subaru make provides you with the best value. While a Subaru may cost more than another car in its class, no denial exists in safety, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction. You can see this by the fact that Subaru of Wichita backs each of their sales with the "Love It or Leave It" Money Back Guarantee that no other dealership I know of offers.I am a first time car buyer, but I did not come into car buying unaware of some of the unseemly parts of the process. I was surprised at the ease of negotiation, especially as a first time car buyer and young woman without anyone accompanying her. I have yet to experience Service at Subaru of Wichita, but I was walked through the process of setting up an appointment and I appreciate the convenience of online appointment booking.I came into Subaru of Wichita devastated that my specific, difficult to acquire car had been sold to another person, but left Subaru of Wichita ecstatic at becoming the proud owner of a Subaru. If that does not state the quality of this dealership, I do not know what does. The only thing I regret is not ringing the bell upon becoming a Subaru owner.

I was not originally in the market for a new car but decided to stop by Subaru of Wichita anyway and I was completely blown away by the customer service and knowledge. After checking out the Subaru line I was very excited to begin the new car purchase process. I wanted to ensure that I was getting the best deal possible. So, I checked out a few other dealerships. As soon as I pulled on the lot at other dealerships it was a game of how much do you want to spend versus the actual price of the car. Immediately set a negative experience with those dealerships. After checking out similar cars and gathering appraisals for my trade I went straight back to Subaru. From the moment I pulled on the lot until I left the lot I never felt any pressure to purchase a vehicle. I test drove the car multiple times as well as asked a hundred questions during the process. I could not be more pleased with the level of service and knowledge I received. Subaru worked with me on my trade in and gave me more for my car than it was worth to help offset the negative equity that I had in my car. Did a great job helping me find something exactly in my budget and needs. Staff is friendly and informative. They lowered the price below what I expected without me even having to ask. Free food and drinks. Couldn't ask for much more.However. What I ended up getting was a used car, and it needed a few repairs. Three to be exact. Two they took care of the same day, but the third they're being really shady about. Promised to call me when they got the part in, but it's been a month and still no call. Called and emailed them about it since, and just keep getting "we'll have someone call you back". The repair is listed in the contract, so I have no doubt they'll do it eventually, but still knocking off a star for the gross disinterest I've been receiving since I signed the contract.

My husband went to Subaru of Wichita today expecting the "normal" experience. Normal for us (we DO NOT have good credit AT ALL), has been: Hi....check your credit score....Oh...well, here are your options. Then,we get to look at very high mileage vehicles that we know if we buy, we might get about a year of no repairs needed. After that, repair after repair while still making monthly payments. Instead I was spoken to and treated like a first-class citizen, and given great options. Including a 2015 vehicle! All the while, these people held the door open, smiled, offered me lunch..most of all...my credit score was not an issue. We ended up purchasing a 2015 Kia, oh and they even helped us save money on our car AND renters insurance! My husband is a medically retired Wichita Police Officer, and was thanked more than once for his service. Amazing customer service, and you could tell this was the norm for them. I will recommend everyone I know to shop there first.

If you want a premium experience you forget about those overpriced Luxury brands. Maybe some folks go for the snarky, cocky, winner-take-all, take-no-prisoners approach. Not me, or the people here at Subaru of Wichita. Think VALUE people. Checked out the main publications. Drove almost every mid size sedan make and learned tons and talked to at least one sales person at each dealership. Met a lot of great folks, but it amazed me how much turn over there is at car dealerships. Two salespeople were gone when I returned a few days later. They are often disorganized or too high pressure and it results in a very bad experience. Conversely Subaru of Wichita was a breath of new car air. Travis greeted me like an old friend, treated me with respect and tolerance and Adrian was incredibly wise, level-headed and knowledgable. You MUST talk to these two if you are buying a car. Start here, but more importantly end here! Buy here! I challenge anyone in Wichita to do more research and get better value than I did. They let me do a side by side comparison of another vehicle and let me test drive both on a dirt road so I could really feel the AWD and holy cow is it bad ass!!! Purchased the Legacy limited and rocked that Harman Kardon stereo system down the road. The safety features including EyeSight were staggering and sets Subaru ahead of their competition. Sukarno was helpful too, and Mike Williams is great if you are looking for a used car. What are you saying? Yeah, I might be on a new car high, can't hear you very well because of the awesome music coming out of the speakers of my new Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited with Harman Kardon stereo system. Did I mention it had that :)

I purchase another vehicle from a different local dealership a few month ago and just felt wore out by the time we were done with everything. The salesman basically disappeared after the deal was made and left us to deal with the finance people. At Subaru of Wichita, we were always greeted and treated like we were important for reasons other than just buying a vehicle, Throughout the entire process of agreeing on price, dealing with finance, warrantees, etc with different individuals, Travis ,our salesman kept checking in us and was always around to answer questions. He was very thourogh in explaining all the vehicles features. I was so relaxed by the time we were done I felt guilty. It should be harder to buy a vehicle.

Don't even know where to start, so I guess from the beginning. Everyone knows the thought of buying a new car is exciting, doesn't matter if it's your first, 15th, or last. For me it was my third. Soon after the excitement hit I quickly remembered how much fun it was dealing with car dealers. For those of you reading that have purchased cars you understand the sarcasm in that statement. Those of you who have yet to experience this I will break it down. It's very similar to drinking 3 gallons of maralax, eating 120 hot wings (level nuclear), and being forced to jump in a bouncy house for the next 3 days... Vivid I know... But my experience with Subaru was out of the norm, as I walked in the door was opened for me and I was created with a hello, I felt very welcome, but the first thing I noticed was the fact I didn't immediately get throat punched by ten dealers that wanted to know absolutely everything right then. But in fact after a little observation of the place I met Travis Nebergall. I let him know my situation and what I was looking for and he didn't miss a beat. In fact he had a bucket of keys ready to go like he knew I was coming in. So while Travis was helping me find my new ride he had Adrian (sorry if spelling is wrong brotha) (and the ocasional rocky quote) but he went to war getting me the absolute top dollar her could for my trade, And after he got top dollar he went ahead and got me some more. Your the man. Any way Travis showed me what I was looking for and more but knew what I wanted and that's what he got me in. The team at subaru did everything and the banks were slow at getting info back so Travis next leveled the entire process hopped in a car and met me at my house the next morning so I didn't have to drive back out there. 10/5 stars for the team 10/5 for the dealership and 15/5 for Travis. I will from now on just have them ship in whatever vehicle I want just to deal with them.

Hi, please do not be afraid to visit this dealership during official open hours. No need to lurk around on Sunday, Subaru of Wichita is a No Shark full service car store. In fact, you may have to seek out someone to help you. How refreshing!My husband and I took our Outback in for an oil change, and came out with an order for our new dream Outback. We were fortunate to talk with John G., who is extremely knowledgeable about the products he sells. John anticipated each and every question and concern we had, and answered them even before we asked. What, is he clairvoyant!? He explained Subaru's Guaranteed Trade-in Value, which made sense to us. In our 60's, we knew what features we wanted/needed in a car for us and our 4 Golden Retrievers, but it was Subaru's new high tech safety features that snapped our socks! Our car insurance premium actually decreased because of those innovative safety ufeatures. John quickly located the model (and color) we were interested in, and within 4 days we were driving it off the lot. 4 miles on the odometer. Without asking, he managed and delivered sweet discounts on a hitch and sunshade. Again, he went above and beyond. That is much appreciated professional salesmanship.We were pleasantly surprised to learn that John is a nearby neighbor, but more importantly a new friend. Thank you John!

I recently bought a new Forester from Subaru of Wichita and was very impressed with every step of the purchase process. However, today their service department went above and beyond! Recently I had a flat tire and had to put the spare put on to get to the dealership. They very quickly repaired the tire, took off the spare and put it back and I was on my way. Once again, I was very impressed! However, in the days following the repair I developed a rattle in the back of the car. I took everything out and attempted to find the rattle with no luck. It kept getting worse so I called the dealership and they said to stop by and they would check it out. I did so today, and they spent 45 minutes trying to find the rattle with no luck. So, the chief mechanic was called to take the car for a drive and see if he could determine the problem. Sure enough, he did! Unbelievably, the rattle was from my husband not putting my new license plate holder on firmly!!! After all the time they had spent on the car they would not take a penny. Just said thanks for coming in and come back soon. WHAT A DEALERSHIP! QUALITY PEOPLE. QUALITY CARS!!

I wanted to switch from another brand. I went to this dealer for a test drive. they were so friendly and the test drive was a success. Negotiations began and I expected them to bargain hard. I had done the homework and was ready. They put their cards on the table and I couldn't negotiate further because they had quoted what TrueCar recommended. Both the Sales Agent and the Sales Manager were professionals and the experience was truly great, considering that this was perhaps the eleventh car I either purchased or leased in the last twelve months. The good: We ended up at Subaru after several dealerships whose solution to our 8k budget was to trash it completely, and go up 2-3k. The guys at Subaru didn't even bat an eye when we said we were staying in our price range and not willing to go out of it. They simply pulled up the cars they had that fit that price range and went from there.They were very accommodating and allowed us to test drive vehicle after vehicle (sometimes the same vehicle 3+ times) to find something that fit our needs, giving helpful suggestions, but never being pushy.The salesmen we dealt with were very friendly, even though we were toting around a 7 mo. old baby the majority of the time and more than once had to abruptly leave for the evening to put her to bed and come back another day. Anthony was especially helpful and friendly with our little kiddo, and made us feel like it wasn't a bad thing that we brought her along (unlike the seething looks and sarcastic remarks from salesmen at other dealerships).The less good: We always had to wait a long time (or at least some time, if not long) when we arrived, even if we were expected. Even in the actual purchase of the vehicle it took over 3 hours from agreeing upon a price etc. to signing the final papers and walking out with the keys. Another less-than-optimal thing was that, like at any other dealership, when faced with financing options we were highly encouraged to purchase extra stuff (specifically a service plan) that we didn't want. Which is sort of fine, because they weren't pushy about it. But sort of not fine, because they made it sound like a great deal and it really wasn't because the manufacturer's warranty still applied on the vehicle and so the service plan they were offering for $600/yr wasn't worth it. Unless we bought a ridiculously unreliable car. . . Overall: Wait time = not so great. Customer service, friendliness, helpfulness, non-pushy advice, space to make our own decisions, welcoming of children = super great. If you have a little while to wait for someone to be free to help you, and a few hours when you go to pick up the car, I'd say it's definitely worth it.

Found a car my wife was interested in at the dealership, called and spoke with Adam who was very helpful over the phone. Adam showed us a few car after we the initial car we had wanted to look at did not work for my wife, we test drove a second car and decided it wasnt what she wanted. We worked with Travis to purchase a pre-owned Forester. He was awesome. We worked for over two weeks to get everything figured out, from our finances, getting the most on our trade-ins, etc. We live in Oklahoma City, and Travis met us halfway to pick up our two cars we were trading in and to give us the car we purchased. He did all of that on a day that the dealership wasn't even open. The only issue we had was with a third party signing agency. Instead of sending us the papers overnight, a signing agency was used to verify our identities. I understand the reason for this, but that company was terrible. The papers should have arrived by Wednesday, but we did not receive a call from the company until Friday. Then the lady who called said she had her own business to run and that we would have to wait until she was available. I called Travis and he was very upset with this. He then decided to drive the car to us and meet us halfway. We cannot express how much we appreciated his patience and willingness to help.

Subaru of Wichita is very different from your typical car dealership. From the moment we walked in the door they were kind and courteous. We were not bombarded at the door or overwhelmed with information. Travis did a great job of answering our questions and going over what Subaru is all about. He was very informative, but not pushy. When it came down to making a deal they (Travis and Adrian) were not pushy at all and understood that we needed time to think about the purchase. We did decide to buy a Subaru Forester from them and they were very fair with our trade in price and overall deal. Travis found us the exact car we wanted and when we went to pick it up he showed us how everything on the vehicle worked! He took extra time to go over things we had questions about and made sure we were going to get the most out of our new vehicle. I defiantly recommend shopping at Subaru of Wichita!

My friend recommended Subaru when he found out I was finally ready to part with my 13 year old Intrepid. The vehcile I purchased was as advertised. Final price was a bit high for high mileage, but I didn't walk away. Make sure you get documents or information requested before moving through the sales process because always seemed to forget or have the request coming. When my husband and I went into the Subaru dealership, I was basically already set on buying a different brand of vehicle. I told my husband, since I was going to be the one driving it, that I would go test drive a Subaru, just to get the option off the table, so I could go back and purchase the vehicle I really wanted.At first the salesman really seemed intent on talking just with my husband, which frustrated me, as this was a car I would be driving a majority of the time. It was hot, and I was in no mood to have to listen to someone have not much interest in me, so I visited with my husband and we left. I was very frustrated.It was over a holiday weekend, and since I had a day off, I again decided to give the Subaru a shot, since we never did test drive one. The original salesman wasn't in, but on our second visit we took a test drive with Travis. During this exchange, I felt much more like my needs and desires were asked about and discussed. I was absolutely blown away with the Subaru Outback, and was totally amazed how much I loved the vehicle. Both salesmen worked very hard to get us exactly what we wanted, and did so in a very timely manner. We had a great experience, and I have no problem recommending this dealership for future customers. I expressed my initial concerns, and am appreciative at how they worked so diligently with us.

This was my first real car purchase and I was extremely intimidated and stressed out by the process. I have always known I wanted a Subaru but I had no clue where to start. At these places I felt talked down to and pressured and it was really making the process miserable. But Subaru of Wichita was completely different from beginning to end. Searching the net for a possible new car on Friday 9-11-15 I noted the Subaru seasonal offer and began entering the required data, but at the end did not complete the request (I think). Nevertheless I received several E-Mails regarding my interest. The clincher was one from Travis Nebergall who invited me to stop by and visit to see what they had to offer Efficient, very fast after my original entry and containing all needed info in a personally styled format. Rather than call my wife and I drove there and was met in the lot by a friendly young man who gave us info where the different cars were and when told about the note from Travis explained that he was working with another customer. He left us to look around and came back a short while later with Travis whom I told of my good impression from the E-Mail. We talked, received information and were offered to try any car we might be interested in an left with a booklet filled with info about the one we liked the most. Next day we returned and bought the car. Why? Because the team was exceptional, all we met were pleasant and helpful! Travis and Scott and the numbers guy Derek Pruitt worked efficiently to move us through the needed formalities and made absolutely sure we were well informed about our new car and its features (which are indeed many)! Yes we recommend the dealership, its people and certainly the ones that made this car purchase a pleasure!

He is the perfect model of what any employee should be. Mark Morris, the Sales Manager, was also very much a leader and certainly knows the business very well. The gentleman representing All State Insurance gave helpful information about the insurance options, and was not "hard sell", which is appreciated. The only issue I had was that we never received information about how to go about process of getting the title and tag from the person who finished with the paperwork. Overall a very good experience and we would endorse this dealership to others.

Everyone was very helpful and knew what they were talking about. also very patient! Wish we could have gotten the payments a little lower. I went in wanting an outback, but was not happy that the car could control itself. The seat in the cross trek are a little to firm, but Love the look and the ease of getting around town. Love Subaru's, we had one in 1989, someone turned point blank in front of us I was unable to stop in time. we got a little bang up and I had some major problems from this, but if it had not been a Subaru, I believe we would have had the motor in our laps. The fact it is one of the safest cars on the road is what sealed the deal. Also love the gas mileage.

Being a single woman, I have heard so many horror stories about terrible dealership "swindling" experiences. I chose Subaru of Wichita as my first dealership experience because it has the reputation of being friendly, and helpful with low-pressure, non-commissioned sales staff (and the best prices around).. I was extremely pleased! Anthony was awesome (WAY better than John ;) ).. we joked around, laughed a lot, and he made me feel very welcome. He showed me pictures of his kids, was very personable, offered me food and beverages.. just all around amazing. John was super helpful (WAY better than Anthony ;) )... and explained all of my contracts, logistic-stuff, with expertise and thoroughness. I came to Subaru of Wichita a bit hesitant about my financial situation (and credit standing) but Spencer was kind and affirming; helping me find a financial conclusion that was right for my budget. Overall, I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed my visit. It was definitely NOT what I expected as I not only drove "home happy," but also drove away thankful that I had met so many fun, fabulous people. I LOVE MY NEW CAR! Thanks guys!

Our good friend bought a Subaru Outback and loved it. Thus, when we saw a used Outback at one of our local dealerships we decided to take it for a test drive. I came in about 5 months ago and looked at cars with Demetrius and decided it wasn't the right time for me to buy. I didn't feel any pressure to change my mind and had a positive experience. (Thanks for making me feel respected!). I emailed Demetrius again when I was ready to look again and even though he had moved to a different department and location I heard back from Jesse within half an hour (or less) and had a time set up to come look at cars. He made sure the cars I was interested in were available to drive and didn't make me feel rushed while looking at them or test driving them. He listened to my concerns and questions and worked to address them or find the information I needed. In the end I purchased a car that is a great fit for what I need. Everyone else I worked with was very friendly and helpful as well. They all cared more about getting me in the right car, rather than just any car!

On a whim, we checked them out even though we live in California, and as it turns out, it was a great decision. No hassle, up front terms, and they got me EXACTLY what I wanted without trying to talk me into something else. Matt was extremely knowledgeable and honest, and answered all my questions promptly and completely. I never felt like I was under any pressure and the whole process, from paperwork to pick up went smoothly. We made our first purchase August 2013 bought a 99 Ford expedition. Needed work, but we purchased since my husband could work on it and I wanted an SUV. Long story short we had problems from the get go and I was persistent on keeping. My husband is a trucker and a month before our two years with the vehicle he had enough of fixing it. Called Subaru because we had negative equity on it. Was told to come in and they got us in a 2013 Subaru crosstrek for what we paid and gas we were saving on the expedition. Haven't had a problem with the vehicle and had it a month today. We have factory warranty that you just can't beat and my husband will only have to do basic maintenance brakes, tires, oil and he is very content with that! We are very impressed they were able to help us considering how much time we let laps before finally getting tired all thanks to Travis and the finance team ?WE LOVE OUR SUBARU

I thought I'd never find the right car after mine was totaled by someone running a red light. I had driven several cars at other dealerships, but nothing that met my requirements was in my price range. I previously drove a Hyundai Santa Fe that I bought from Sam Steele two years ago and it was a wonderful dealership experience. Sam was incredibly helpful and we found the perfect car for me. When I bought my SUV from Sam, I met Jesse Powers, who had just started working at Subaru of Wichita and was shadowing.This time around Jesse was helping me out. He went above and beyond my family's and my expectations. We drove a lot of SUVs and a couple sedans, but couldn't seem to find "the one". I was a very difficult to please customer, as I really just wanted my old beloved SUV to be magically un-totaled. He was always available and helpful, even talking about my options when I called, not realizing it was his day off. Any time I came across something I wanted to look at, I'd send him the stock number and he would talk to me about the car. He sent me safety videos on all the SUVs I asked about- having just been in a wreck, safety was my top priority. I got a message Tuesday afternoon asking if I had found a new car yet, and I told Jesse I had not. He then took several pictures of a car that had been traded in by a family that had just left, and it met ALL of my requirements and was in my price range! He and his shadow brought the SUV to me at my job so I could check it out despite my schedule and lack of transportation. I drove the SUV to show my family and we all agreed we found a winner. Jesse had it sent to be inspected and detailed ASAP and let me know I'd have it by Friday, but here it is late Thursday afternoon and I've had the car for almost 24 hours! Obviously having someone hit and total your car is never a good experience, but Jesse was incredibly patient, kind, helpful and informative. I probably would still be searching for the right SUV for another two weeks and would have had to cancel the road trip I've had planned all summer if it weren't for him. Thanks SO much, Jesse! I love my CR-V and I love being able to back in and parallel park without worry because of my backup camera!

I absolutely dread visiting car dealerships and having to purchase cars in general. I loved my experience at Subaru of Wichita! Travis made it quick and easy over the phone before I came from Tulsa to purchase a particular car I viewed on cargurus.com. I sent an inquiry and he emailed in return. He did not immediately ring my phone over and over like some salesmen have done in the past. I was able to send photos of my traded vehicle in advance to get a general idea of what to expect. I will definitely purchase through them in the future even living 2.5 hours away. The experience was worth the drive.

Telling my wife yes, I will go look at cars and tell you what I think, I had no idea of the journey I was about to embark. As I lay foot upon the fertile grounds known as Subaru of Wichita, feelings of being out of place and claustrophobia pierced through me like an arrow in the night. Feeling weary and lost I began my trek to the giant glass gates. I feared that I may accidentally open the doors wrong, making me look like a fool, but this was not so. In the distance, through the giant glass gates, a man appeared to the front of the door as if he were to morph through the gates like they werent even there. This man reached out and welcomed me to their lands. He went by the name of Travis Nebergall and if I were Frodo Baggins, he was my Samwise Gamgee. As he guided me through this journey he provided great insight and knowledge of the lands, serving me throughout this passage. As he gathered information, he hunted down the perfect transportation for both my wife and I. After finding the finest mode of transportation a man could ask for, my significant other showed face, and Travis treated her as a brother would a sister. We left these lands in a new Subaru, thoroughly satisfied and still are. I wish the best for this man. I could only hope my son would grow to have the honor, this man does. when I traded in my outbox I had a description of the car that they had for me ready to go when I got there it was a very nice car when I left I realize that everything was not there that I was told about as in climate control air and weather display on the radio it was a base model but I was described a premium model I assumed that's what I was getting was a premium I didn't really realize it until I was down the road a little bit I called back salesman and within four hours I had the car that I was described and I assumed I was getting deal that was unbelievable Travis and peace did a fantastic job for me I will return there and send anybody to them that is looking for hey honest deal on a new car... I will return in 3 years return to get my brand new WRX... Our experience at Subaru of Wichita was nothing but positive. All employees who worked with us treated us with respect and demonstrated excellent costumer service skills. More than anyone else, Zach Bryant went out of his way to help us make the best decision possible. We initially had in mind to get a used vehicle, but he explained the pros and cons between used versus new. He also helped us get our payment down to a reasonable amount for our budget. Additionally, Zach has great communication skills- he responded to us in a timely manner and got to know us as a couple. Because of this, the car buying process didn't feel like it was just all about the money and making an end of the month sale. He deserves a pay raise and a trophy. That said though, he seems like he enjoys his job and strives to do well without seeking recognition from others. That's one reason we enjoyed working with him- he is humble. Our first experience with Subaru was on day where there was a downpour rain. The salesman was positive and stated that it was a great day to test drive a Subaru. He let us take it out for a drive without insisting that he had to ride along, thus allowing us to discuss the car freely among ourselves and returning to the dealership with questions that we had. There was no sales pressure whatsoever and he had a desire to accommodate us with the car that fit our "must haves". Very accommodating at the time of the final sale, as he had everything ready to us so the actual sale went quickly. He also gave us his personal phone number in order that we can call him with any questions that we may have on our new car.

I had been looking for a used truck on the internet for about 4-6 weeks when I came across a very nice 2103 Toyota Tundra RS5 on Subaru's web site (via Cars.com)I called on it and went and drove it the next day.Matt Friskey helped me out and we went for a test drive. Truck was great and I decided I wanted to buy. I knew what the going rate was for a truck like this was and I ended up buying for well under book. basically got a great deal on a great truck. the icing on the cake was the financing they were able to get for me (1.9%) on a used truck! I couldn't believe it.I would definitely recommend going to see these people if you need a vehicle.

Travis made buying my new car an actually enjoyable experience, which I've never been able to say about car buying. He was endlessly patient, as it took me several weeks to decide to go ahead with a purchase, was friendly, concerned and caring each time I came in. He clearly loves what he does, and his enthusiasm for people and the Subaru brand are readily apparent. Everyone at the dealership was warm and welcoming, and it's wonderful to be able to go to a car dealer and not feel like vultures are descending on you. A terrible rattling noise from our front wheel caused us to pull off on the back roads of Kansas. We contacted Subaru of Wichita and were connected to the road service. Our tow truck brought us the 100 miles to the dealership who was expecting us - they had our 2013 outback (with 2 kayaks on top) up on the lift in minutes. The quick opinion- a small stone lodged between the brake plates! Our lucky day! And to top it off- they fit in a needed oil change and had us back on the road in 45 minutes. What could have been an overnight in Wichita and a large repair bill turned into a wonderful experience with really helpful staff. A tall cool selzer finished off a great service experience.

This was a great car buying experience! It had been five years since my last purchase and this time was such a change. No pressure, no one "leaping" on you when u drive on the lot, and just all around helpful. It took time to get all the information I wanted, prices, payments, etc..... But that's to be expected. They really worked with me to find what I wanted and to get it into the payment range I could afford. This is the way car buying should be. I was referred by some friends even though this dealer is almost 2 hours from me. Very much worth the drive. I was able to look at their inventory online and talk with a team member before going to the lot to speed the process along. I told them my situation and they helped get me into something that was affordable and what I needed. And they are just generally good people. **** UPDATE .... After submitting the review below, I was contacted by the salesman & the dealership. I was notified my floor mats were shipping out FedEx overnight. I did receive them the next day. Even though they did resolve the situation, I'm leaving my review as it is due to the length of time it took & the frustration of having to contact them multiple times to get it resolved. I'm giving a 4 instead of a 5 because of an issue I'm having with the dealership that still has not been resolved. I picked up my new Outback on May 8th, 2015. The all-weather floor mats were not in the vehicle like they should have been. My salesman said he'd get them to me asap. I've reminded him several times & finally received a text from him on May 23rd saying my mats would ship out on Tuesday (May 26th). I texted him on June 1st to let him know I hadn't received them & asked if there was a tracking number. He responded, "You haven't?" I told him, "No." I haven't heard back from him. I've texted him twice since then & he hasn't bothered to respond to either of those texts either. I called the dealership today (June 4th) to speak with his supervisor & was told he doesn't come in until 2:00p.m. I will be calling back. Other than this issue, I LOVE my Outback!! The dealership is clean. The salesman was very knowledgeable of the vehicle & did a good job showing me how everything operates.

We found the people at Subaru of Wichita to be outstanding in their friendliness and willingness to explain the operations of the company (service, financing, warranties, etc.). Preston Haverkamp was excellent in his descriptions of the Legacy and the demonstration of its driving and its physical features. He also introduced us to other persons with the company who are responsible for service, title transfer, etc. The Legacy may well outlive us, but if it doesn't you can bet we will check with Preston about getting another one.

I recently purschased a 2015 Subaru Outback and would have to say it was by far the best "New Car" or as far as that goes "Any" car buying experience of my life! No joke! The entire car buying experience lasted a total of maybe 3 hours. 2 hours of buying the car and 1 hour of going over the car as how the Nav and Eyesight cruise control features work. I never once felt I got the old "high pressure" approach as I've experienced before and the two guys (Travis Nebergall & Scott Thomas) I mainly dealt with answered all of my questions with "facts". I got what I believe was a fair trade in on my old car and did all the discussion concerning the actual buying at a small round table in the lobby and never entered a room to sign papers, etc... I'm super happy with the car and would recommend it to anyone who wanted a hassle free car buying experience!

I had a pretty good experience. I liked the Forester and they were able to bet my lease down to what I wanted to pay and I got to drive the car off the showroom floor. I didn't feel pressured and the onsite insurance guy was really nice and easy to work with. It did take a couple of hours but I'm assuming that is the case anywhere you go. All in all, a good experience.

The salesman was very nice to me and not at all pushy. That part was great. However, I ask about getting some paint chips fixed on the truck I bought, and was told, I'll call you back on that, not once but twice. I knew I might have to pay for some, if not all of it, but instead, nothing was ever done about it, the chips are still there. Their "inspection" leaves a little to be desired. The windshield wipers are wore out, and the spare tire had 15 pounds of air in it. Good thing I didn't get a flat!!! It's a used truck, I get that, but a flat spare tire? Come on!!! Inspection my xxx. And what ever happened to turning a vehicle over to the customer with a full tank of gas. The inside of the truck looked great when I pick it up, but xxxx it, take a chamois to the outside after you wash it, shine it up a bit, don't leave water spots all over it!!! I recommended them because they were very friendly and not pushy. I went back a week after picking up my truck, and my windshield wipers were replaced with absolutely no hassle. Thanks Matt.

Love that this dealership is not pushy, had a great experience with Jesse and Spencer. The vehicle we wanted to look at was at another of their locations and they brought it over for us to see. They let you roam the lot and vehicles are unlocked so you can look inside without a sales person hoovering around you or trying to talk you into a vehicle that you don't want. Our experience for Subaru of Wichita started at the Braum's in Newton last fall. An elderly man was looking at my 2006 Subaru and I told him that it was for sale. He said that he had just bought a new one at Subaru of Wichita from his nephew. We visited for a few minutes, and the man gave me a business card for his nephew, Travis Nebergall. Several months later, we decided it was time to move up, so we called Subaru of Wichita and made contact with Travis. Now we are proud owners of a 2015 Outback. Travis was very helpful. He showed us everything we wanted to see and answered all our questions.

Travis has not only assisted me but my mother as well. This man has put up with getting yelled at by my mother who wasn't even his customer and countless failed attempts to get a car on my part. Each and every time we came in, we were greeted with a smile and a "welcome back" without sarcasm which would have been well deserved due to our various visits. He did whatever he could to help me get a car even with obstacles Perseus probably couldn't overcome. Bottom line is three cars for my mom and two for her husband later, I can finally add mine to the tradition. Long story short, he has helped me and my family leave with great cars despite many obstacles. Because of that, I recommend Travis to any of my friends or family looking for vehicles.

We were in Wichita to visit our daughter, on our way to NY for family business. My husband stopped into this dealership on the way and spoke to Scott (I hate car shopping). In the three weeks we were gone Scott located the car John wanted and had it ready when we arrived back in Wichita.Since we live in AZ and needed a specific car it was gratifying to see how Scott paid attention to detail. We were impressed with his many scenarios as to how we could buy, or lease the car.Travis Nebergall was most helpful when we decided we needed to get a car for our daughter. While Scott worked with us on the various ways we could financially buy the car(s), Travis patiently showed us options for our daughter. Travis was instrumental in making sure all the details concerning our new car was done. He even took the time to pair our phones and explain things that were new to us so we could feel secure on our trip back to AZ.Both Scott and Travis were direct and professional in their approach, but most of all patient. Since we live in AZ there were many extra steps they had to take to be sure things were done properly. They were thorough and made it their business that we understood what we were doing. I ask many questions and they very patiently answered all of them.Samuel very professionally took care of our questions on finance.Overall this was a great experience. My wife and I had not intention of buying another Subaru today but rather to find out if she like Forrester or Outback better. Our family has grown and we wanted, not needed, more space.This was my second purchase from John Goldsmith and if it wasn't for the amazing customer service that I received during my first purchase I would not have returned. John even asked to see my new baby boy as the last time he saw us my wife was pregnant. We told John we weren't going to buy unless numbers were right and he remembered our budget and showed us some numbers and well the wife was happy so we decided the Forrester must be ours. Roger Laughary was very helpful in getting all the finances in order and was very honest with us and we did not have the feeling that we were being taken advantage of like you get at some dealerships. My family went to this dealership after going to several others. When our jeep was totalled. Our credit is not very good and had been having a tough time with medical issues recently. When we arrived I explained our situation and they immediately got to work. They showed us what we could get and what would be beat and didn't get us focused on a particular vehical.
