The staff was very helpful and friendly. Being a single woman, car shopping can be a scary thing, but everyone did everything they could to get me the deal I wanted on a car. Once I got my car home, I realized that some paint had chipped off the front of it. I called the dealership and they offered to fix it at no charge. They even offered another car for me to use while they were fixing mine. Things like that don't go unnoticed.

Travis Hodgen helped me greatly. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had a tentative idea of what I wanted going in. We were able to work together to figure out what I needed and wanted in a car, he showed me some options and helped me find the perfect one to fit my needs. The dealership itself was clean, easy to navigate, and the whole staff was friendly and professional. The test drive was fun. They have a great course to take you on. I'm also excited to see the new dealership that they're working on. Having a car wash along with the maintenance shop would be awesome.

My husband contacted the dealership via website. He was called and we both talked to the salesman and told him we "might" come on Saturday to look at the car we were interested in. We did just that and were taken very good care of upon arrival. Once we decided to purchase we did have to wait a little while for the finance manager to complete transactions with other customers. But once we were in his office everything went smoothly.

I researched what I wanted, this Dealership had my vehicle that I wanted shipped to their store for me. Everything was great. The only thing I was confused on is the apple CarPlay. I thought I could have it automatically but there is more of a process involved jam I expected, which was a disappointment on Hyundai's part, not the dealership.

We were very impressed with the warranties and "extras" that come with the new Hyundai Santa Fe! The quality of the vehicle and confidence in which the sales and service people stand behind their vehicles are unprecedented. I think I put this in the last comment but the 2007 Tuscan that I just traded was a very good car and had never gave any problems until it died so that is why I bought another one plus the new one even gets better gas mileage and has a lot more features than the old one. I wish I had traded earlier so I would not had that large repair bill.

I've always hated buying cars because of high-pressure salesmen. I was having a brake inspection on my 2005 Tucson and wandered into the sales portion of the dealership to inquire about the process of leasing an automobile. Even though I had indicated I just wanted some information for future reference, Mr. Hodgen took time to answer all my questions, giving me brochures to look at and told me to think about it and when I came back to have brakes installed, to come see him and let him know if I had any more questions. I knew I wanted another Tucson (my 2005 had 155,000 miles on it and I had never had any problems with it except normal wear and tear), so when I came back to have the brakes installed, I ended leaving with a 2016 Tucson. Even though I am an elderly woman I was not pressured, I was not "talked down to", but was treated with respect and kindness by everyone at the dealership, not just Mr. Hodgen. I highly recommend this dealership. By the way, I've used their service department many times, and the guys there are also very professional and do a great job. I love Tuscaloosa Hyundai.

It's a shame that someone living in Birmingham, where there are 3 Hyundai dealerships, has to go to Tuscaloosa to buy a Hyundai, but it is so worth the drive to a rare no-BS car-buying experience. After getting poor responsiveness out of Birmingham with the one dealer I was still willing to give a shot at my business to, I reached out to Tuscaloosa Hyundai by email and email alone, and within 30 minutes I had been provided everything that I had asked for including pricing and payment information on the specific vehicle I had selected. No bait-and-switch, no "you have to come here to get that information", no "we have to look at your credit first", nothing. Just answers to my questions and no gimmicks. From there, I then had them run my credit and was notified within an hour or so that everything was approved as quoted, and I scheduled a time to come in and take delivery. Once at the dealership, I was in-and-out in under an hour, and that included the time it took to test drive the vehicle. It was incredible. The folks were all friendly, hassle-free, and it was the fastest I have ever been in and out of a dealership to buy a car. As such, I no longer need to invest any time fooling with the dealers in Birmingham; I'll just head directly to Tuscaloosa, as they know how to do it the right way.

My husband and I purchased a used 2011 Lincoln from Tuscaloosa Hyundai 14 months ago. The Lincoln was supposedly covered under the million mile warranty. We were told and the paperwork says that the million mile warranty covers the engine and the powertrain. Well, needless to say, we had engine problems and the million mile warranty did not cover the repairs. We were told so many different things and still they didn't fix our car. It wasn't handled the right way and we will NEVER purchase another car from Tuscaloosa Hyundai. It hurts us not to support them because we bought the car from our nephew. We have also recommended a lot of people to this dealership. Never again!

The email went over couple times between me and him. I wish I could attached whole emails. I asked something about price but he answered something else. So I planned to go visit the dealer on Sat. (better talk in person) then he emailed me "Thank you for stopping by" - the automatic After visit email on Thursday although I haven't visited them yet.3. Visited on Sat. test drove it. it had 2000 miles on it. I was a bit concerned because never informed about it. Mariquis gave me the quote. It was a little over my budget. I was struggling maybe like 30sec. Then he started pushing me and my sister expecting us to purchase thousands dollar product in 10 min. Then he started treat me and my sister don't know about the car/car purchasing. We asked if there is any other options. Then he was having attitude. He asked what my sister's budget is, she answered. It was 1,000 lower than his quote. He rose his voice said our budget is impossible that he doesn't want to waste ppl's time and walked out of his office. This happened less than 10min after we sat in his office. 4. Me and my sister called the Manager that we would like to speak with him. Matt, the manager came in, asked what's up. We explained the conversation between us and Marquis, and Matt said "So? what do you want me to do?" I said "We didn't like Marquis' attitude and how he was pushing us and just walked out" then Matt said "That, I will talk with him once you guys leave" I received the intention that he wanted us to leave whatever.Me and my sister walked out. The worst dealer experience I have ever had. Do not go there. You deserve more than this.(I wish I could give them a ZERO star but guess it won't let me. Here is one for me to learn the lesson how bad the dealer could be)

The dealership was easy to locate since I had never before been to Tuscaloosa. The Staff was very friendly and welcoming. I felt I had come to the right place to purchase even though I had already visited two other dealerships in my area. My salesman was very helpful and went overboard to make me feel good as I debated between a Tucson and a Santa Fe. He knew everything about both vehicles and really helped me in my final decision. Well, I think the five(5) stars speak for themselves. I recently bought a 2014 Hyundai Elantra. The customer service from Lamar Dunning was EXCELLENT! He always put his customer's first and at all times aim to please his customers. The buying process was fairly easy. I haven't had any vehicle repairs and I hope not to have any no time soon! The facility was great and the TV's and coffee provided at the dealership made the wait worthwhile.

I have been to most of the dealerships around Tuscaloosa and this one by far had the best customer service. I had Lemar Dunning as my salesman and he did a great job helping me. I've worked in sales so I know many of the tricks of the trade and I felt like this was the first dealership that wasn't overly greasing me up and trying to trick me. Lemar worked with me very professionally and I never felt like he was just out to make a quick commission off me. I was treated right at Tuscaloosa Hyundai and would recommend everyone looking for a car in Tuscaloosa to give them a shot. Ask for Lemar and he'll look out for you!

Hello My name is Lemar and I was very pleased and overwhelmed by the customer service I recieved at Tuscaloosa Hyundai. I have recommended my family members and relatives to go by if they was interested in very kind service and if they needed any car repairs to their vehicle. The salesmans there are very helpful and take time with each customer and don't pressure you on purchasing. They allow and encourage you to be relax by letting you know at first hand that they are not on commission. They also have a MILLION MILE WARRANTY on their New and Pre-Owned Vehicles. If you need your vehicle serviced, and had to be some where else, you was given a free service loaner to drive to complete your daily chores. I have been to a lot of many different dealerships, but I have never been to a dealership where I was treated like royalty when I got out my vehicle. The overall treatment was outstanding.

In the past, the purchase process was a nightmare! We always hated having to deal with the high pressure atmosphere of most stores. Recently, my husband and I got stuck in the wrong car from another dealership. The high pressure salesman did not make sure that we bought the right car for our needs. We are elderly, and getting in and out of a car without power seats was just too difficult. I recently purchased a 2014 Sonata GLS from Tuscaloosa Hyundai and would like to commend this dealership for a job well done! I did a lot of research on various dealers and contacted four via their online sales departments. The two most upfront with their pricing were Tameron Hyundai in Hoover and Tuscaloosa Hyundai. Other dealers I talked with tended to downgrade the other dealers and were unclear about their own prices. I talked on the phone with several salespersons and Brandi was able to give the lowest price on both the base model and the upgraded package. Tuscaloosa Hyundai beat the competition from $400-$1500 and were a breeze to deal with. Brandi started with their best offer and never had to budge while some of the others were "talking to their manager" trying to get me the"best deal possible" and saying there was no way Tuscaloosa could offer that price. The price quote was spot on to the penny and I even took the upgraded model. The financing was equally efficient. The car was waiting out front when I got there. I got what I expected for my trade and got a very good interest rate. This was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. We plan to go back in the next year or two and get my wife the Tucson she wants!!!

We started off good, great car at a good price, but went down hill from there. I made the mistake in buying a car from out of state. Between the Jefferson County Alabama Revenue department and the dealership, I am getting the biggest run around I have ever had. The revenue dept. wanting a notrized form from the dealership. The dealership finally sending 3 days after they said they would, but they did not have all the i's dotted and t's crossed, causing the revenue dept to refuse to accept the form. Now I am back to getting another form signed by the dealership which they said would be mail yesterday but wasn't. I wonder where this will all end. I hope I dont get a traffic ticket before I am able to register the vehicle. My advise, if you buy from Tuscaloosa Hyundai make sure the vehicle has an Alabama title not New York.
