I've been buying cars for over 25 years and NEVER have I bought 2 vehicles from the same dealer until now. I purchased a vehicle from here September 19,2015. I had spoken with a sales rep Jackie Banks. For hours throughout that day which was a Friday he called me to varify information an for me to email and fax him everything that he needed. Upon my arrival after work NOTHING was together, I waited almost 2 hours to see the car in question. It was close to 9pm before I left an still no paperwork was done. I had agreed to get the car I looked at an they allowed me to test drive it home an bring it back the very next day at my appointed time. Once I arrived it took almost an hour for him to see me. The finance manager must have thought that by me being a woman I was completely ignorant and tried to give me extremely high interest rates! I did my homework prior to contacting them about the car in question an had visited other dealerships. It was literally a flat out war between us an when my fiance would jump in with his opinion the finance manager would rudely interrupt him an say that his name wouldn't be on the car so it needed to be only me speaking with him. HOW RUDE! So I got the car anyway, 2011 Dodge nitro. It has now been a year since I purchased it an we have replaced the alternator, a starter, a hose, timing belt, radiator an now have to get a flywheel!!! I have never had to do so much to a car in one year!!! The service here sucks, you can't even get anyone on the line in the service department. Now I'm looking for a great mechanic to fix my car because I refuse to continue to try getting in touch with Strivers to fix it. I love my car but for a car with less than 75k miles it should not have this much trouble!!!!

The service at Stivers was fantastic. Great work and great staff. Jeremy in the service department went out of his way to enure my car was proprly serviced. Your service Manager - Terry I think it is, was excellent. Very helpful and made sure my scheduled service was handled quickly and efficiently. He went over everything that was done and let me know what corrections were made. I will recommend him to my friends (my only suggestion - get the a/c fixed in the waiting room - it was uncomfortably hot in there)

I paid out right for a used 2007 Chevrolet Suburban for $15,831.84 and 3 days after the check engine light comes on within the 3 days and 4 times within 2 weeks.I find out after paying capital Chevrolet to check my truck that it's a Transmission problem and I have to replace it!!!!So I go back to them twice and I the salesman tries to help me out but his boss tells them since I bought it as is then it's all on me to take care of the problem now, and I'm just like wow that's bad Buisness and I haven't even had the car a full 30 days!!!I was wrote off like I'm nothing!!!

I purchased a 2016 Lincoln MKX December 2015. Mr. Jim McCain and Gerry Montgomery gave me excellent service. on May 25th I had problems with the throttle body which caused the engine to stop while I was in traffic on the interstate in Atlanta's late afternoon traffic. I called Mr. McCain to see if he could help me. He gave me instructions on how to restart the engine and after another engine stall I was able to make it home to Wetumpka Alabama. Mr. McCain called me during the ride home to be assured I made it home safely and also made arrangements to have my vehicle picked up from home and he personally brought me a loaner vehicle the next day. I can't say enough good things about the service at Stivers Ford. I always feel appreciated when I am in the office or call for service.

I made an appointment online only to find out that the service department was closed when I arrived. However the Quick Lane Manager Mr. Cary Campbell did apologize for the system error and had his team to check my car. He was very helpful, he rode with me on a test drive so that I could point out my concerns. He and his team located what they suspect the problem to be and informed me that they were not equipped to handle it. He sat me down and explained what was going on. He gave me his card along with the card of Mr. Croskey the service advisor. Mr. Campbell ask me to contact Mr. Croskey about my issue the next morning. I thank him and his team for their time and effort. He is a great assist to your service department.

However, I live in Tallassee, so the first time I was to get it serviced I went to my local Ford dealer for "The Works", but the service was very poor there. The second time I needed service on my Mustang I went back to Stivers and was in and out in no time, despite them being very busy. Now I have learned my lesson and will only be letting Stivers service my new car.

I purchased a new 2016 Lincoln MKZ. This was the 6th vehicle I purchased at Stivers Ford / Lincoln. I was called saying that I was approved for 25k car loan. I was assured that I was already approved .once I arrived I was told I needed a co signer. After giving them the information for a co signer I received a call saying everything was good and we could come sign the papers. Once there they said the car could only be in the co signers name because that's the only way the bank would finance. They refused to try to add me or try another car. It was a horrible, humiliating experience.

I got a phone call from Kayla in the sales department telling me that I had been approved for a loan and that Stivers was currently running a 0 down special. I asked her what were the stipulations for the 0 down. She told me that I didn't have to worry about that, they'd ran my credit and I was already approved for the 0 down. I am fully aware of my credit situation and informed Kayla, that I would be making a 45 minute trip to get there and that I didn't have the available time or extra money to just make random trips to Montgomery, Alabama. She told me not to worry as long as my finances checked out that I would be able to leave with a car. I got there and sat down with Eric...after crunching some numbers he told me that I needed a co signer for the 0 down. I almost lost it. I had asked Kayla on 3 separate occasions what were the stipulations and she told me that everything was fine, completely disregarding the fact that I'd told her it was a 45 min trip there and back. Not only that after we left WITHOUT a car...I got an email from credit karma that Stivers Ford had done a hard inquiry on my credit!!!! Which caused my score to drop even further! After Kayla had told me that they'd already ran my credit! I called the sales rep that I was working with to voice a complaint...instead of him calling me back (which would have been the professional thing to do) he sent me a text! and then never replied to any of the questions that I asked. So then I called and ask to speak to someone in customer service, each time I called I got sent to a voicemail. So the third time I asked to speak to Mark Shearer who I am assuming is the head of the operation. I was told that he didn't except phone calls. Are you kidding me? So then the receptionist asked if I wanted to speak to Kayla or Summer? I told her Summer, I explained my situation to her and she said she would have someone named Eric call me back... no phone call.This is establishment is the worst kind!!!!! Someone just offered me money for the down payment as a late birthday gift, I won't be taking my money to Stiver Ford. Awful people.

I bought a service package with my new vehicle and since then I've had two oil changes at the Quick Lane. I really don't think "Quick Lane" is the appropriate name for this establishment. Both times I've had an appointment for just an oil change and both times I've spent well over an hour there.... For JUST an oil change. The actual employees are super kind however, and very customer service oriented.

Loving my 2015 CPO Ford Escape! We have previously bought 2 brand new Fords from Stivers and had a great experience. I am really pleased to say buying CPO was just as great. I test drove other cars at other dealerships but went back to my Escape because they could not compare. I never felt pressured or badgered by the salesmen to make a decision, which is important to me as i needed to do research and make sure everything felt right. Good dealership. John Bowman (internet sales) was a pleasure to do business with. I felt like he was fair and responsive to my request. We negotiated over text messages and phone and things were as promised when I drove 3 hours to the dealership. Only compliant I have was created by me. I live 3 hours from dealer so the distance was a problem. But, I got a very fair price so it made it worth it.

I had been looking at the F-150 for a while. I visited Stivers since they had a great selection of trucks. Bradley Pemberton was our salesperson and was very professional and easy to work with. Purchased a 2015 Lariat from Stivers back in November, after about a week I noticed the chrome plating was pealing from the wheels. My visit was good but I have one comment about your servicing of my diesel truck. When I asked if you top off my Diesel Exhaust Fluid, I was told there was an additional charge. I think it's ridiculous that you charge for this, since you top off other fluids. Also your competitors don't charge their customers. Just my opinion.

Cary Campbell did a great job getting me through the "THE WORKS" process at a very busy time of year and a very busy day. The long wait I experienced was my fault. Upon arrival I was informed that it would be approximately an hour and a half before they could get to my vehicle. It was only 15 minuets longer and I thought that was pretty darn close, considering all service bays were full during the full time I was there. Mr. Campbell was never still the whole time I was there and was pleasantly moving at warp speed to service customers and assist the service technicians as much as he could. I met Cary when he first came to Stivers and was very impressed with him .I still am his fan. I believe Cary and his service team are a tremendous asset to the Stivers Business Model.

I took my car tp this dealership due to previous issues that still was not repaired. Used their loaner car and somehow got a ding in the door. They made me paymy deductible before they would release my car to me. My car is still not fixed and having the same squeeky brakes and has a jerking motion. This has been the worst dealership service. Also the service advisor Kasey is never available to explain repairs nor do I receive a receipt of what was done. This is the worst dealership in the world and I wil Neeeeeeeeeevver return to this place again and wont recommend anyone else tp go.

I brought my truck in for an oil change without an appointment. Was greeted promptly and given a ride back to my residence within 30 minutes of arrival. Was picked up from my residence around lunchtime and my vehicle was serviced and ready to go. Checkout was a breeze and follow-up maintenance services were referred to me for my vehicle. After shopping around for a new vehicle for weeks, I found the SUV that I purchased online. My salesman Henry Fitzgerald was the best salesman I have ever worked with. I just want to say that I had a bad experience with this dealership that I'm very disappointed in. I was told that I was already approved for a loan for up to $25,000 and just needed to bring in a current check stub and copy of my id. I did bring that information in however found I needed a co signer. I then mentioned that I did not have one but had money to put down. I gave the amount that I can put down and simply wanted to find a vehicle within that price range to determine what I would be looking at as far as my monthly payments. The salesman said he could not do anything until I had the money on hand because the car may be sold by the time I came back which I fully understood. I only wanted an ideal based on the amount I mentioned for my down payment because I had to travel from out of time. I was even willing to put down more with my down payment but after this experience I have been turned off and will take my business elsewhere. The salesperson I dealt with was Mark Shearer and I plan to let as many people as I can know about the way that I was treated when I was under the assumption that everything was already approved and caused me to waste my time and gas by not even being given an ideal of how everything may work out.

I've purchased several vehicles from your dealership. My most recent experience was shaping up to be the hands-down best: friendly and knowledgeable salesman, great car at a great price, decent offer for my trade, and an outstanding and lightning-fast closing with the finance guy. I was ALMOST in and out in two hours. They brought the car around for delivery at 3:40 p.m., but the detailers had missed the protective chrome film over the window accents (which I'm told should've been removed before the car ever hit the lot). One hour and 20 minutes of my pacing the showroom/sidewalk later, the car was ready. The mirrors were terribly smudged with fingerprints, but the shop was closing and I was NOT going to stay a minute longer. This is why I can give only four stars and a 9. Somebody out back fell down on the job. Everyone else is to be commended.

I bought a 2015 f-150 lariat pickup truck. It's a beautiful truck and it's loaded with all the options available. Have had no problems however I've only had it for about 5-6 weeks. I did get a recall notice in the mail dealing with the adaptive cruise control. I immediately scheduled an appointment and went in to have it fixed. Drove home and on the way discovered that I no longer had cruise control. Contacted the service department, took it back and they put the adaptive cruise control back to the default setting and removed the recall program. Will have to wait until Ford manufacturing comes up with a new fix for the recall. However the service and friendly helpful personnel at Stivers Ford was above reproach. It was a good experience.

I was shopping for a Ford Explorer and live in Troy, I shopped the Ford dealers within 50 miles in all directions. I had came to Stiver's first and had a good feeling about my visit but I wanted to shop around to compare my options. During that time I was kept in touch by my salesperson but not bothered. After looking around at all my options I kept coming back to Stiver's. I had offers on the same vehicle from other dealers but the best offer was with Stiver's. I set up an appointment to come in and try to work a deal for the car. The whole process could have not gone any better. I got what I thought was a fair price, the salesperson was fair and honest, checked to see about my best interest rate and I bought a car. Then to add more value, because of my good credit when I met with the finance manager we were able to get me a lower rate, add the extended warranty package to my purchase and not raise my payment. I would highly recommend my salesperson, finance manager and Stiver's Ford to any one looking to purchase a vehicle.

I took my 2014 Mazda 6 in earlier in the year because I had brake issues. They determined it was the rotars. The dealership said it was the worse case they had seen, however; they straightened them out and told me if I had issues before I got to 36,000 miles to bring it back in, I did. I took it back with shaking and it was the same problem, this time they replaced them. My car seems to be driving much better.My, service in not complete, I am waiting on the seat cover for the front drivers seat, it in on international back order according to the dealership. I gots a call saying I was aproved for 25,000. I was nervous because I don't have best credit cause of devorce. However, when I got there the staff was good. They treated me with respect and listened to my needs. I'm a single mom with 3 boys so I need something with third row seats and they were able to help. We basically purchased a 2016 Ford Mustang through the internet service and was able to negotiate a price and receive a quote from Mr. Hunter Hecht. Upon arrival at the dealership, the vehicle was all ready to go and Mr. John Jackson was extremely helpful in providing information about the purchase and showing us features of the vehicle. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and friendly, however, we were a little disappointed that it took almost 2 hours after the deal was made to get in with the Finance Manager. Mr. Joshua Browning provided expedient service in securing the loan once we where in his office. Overall, the experience was really Great!!!

I enjoyed working with Mr. Derek Brown at Stivers Ford in Montgomery, Alabama. He was recommended to me by a friend who had purchased a four wheel drive F150 from him about a year ago. After I contacted Derek, he made me feel important, was respectful, energetic, and very knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in purchasing. He and I conversed on the telephone several days before I had the chance to meet him in person and he listened carefully to the specifications that I wanted in a four wheel drive F150. I brought my vehicle in for service. The staff were friendly, even to the point of brewing and serving me a fresh cup of coffee. I asked that the crew refrain from washing the car, because it has decals and must be washed by hand. They followed those instructions, and vacuumed the interior only. After the service was complete, the staff reviewed my vehicle's stats with me to make sure that I was aware of how it is using fluids and brake pads and the like. This is my second service at Quick Lane, and I do recommend it.

I took my 2011 Ford Edge for it's regular oil change. The cashier was extremely helpful and courteously. They had coffee ready for us while my Suva was being service. It took about 35 minutes to service and watch my car, and yes I said watch and vacuum. They were great!

I was contacted my a rep from the dealership saying that I had been approved for up to 25000.00 loan with 0 down and all I needed to do was bring in my id and proof of income. I spoke with the rep 4 times to confirm that when i came it was not going to be any gimics and that I had been approved without a co-signer. She verified everything and as soon as I arrived the first thing out of the sales rep mouth was i need a co-signer it was a requirement of the bank so i wasted a 2 hour trip over there and back then they only had 1 vehicle i could get and they did not seem interested in helping me get something i would like to getting a vehicle without a co-signer. I procedded to take the vehicle home and return it the next day with hopes of working out something. When i arrived my sales rep was gone for the day and I had brought someone to co-sign with me but since no one cared to follow up with me or wait for me to get there i will be taking my business elsewhere. Not professional at all.

I bought a Mazda 3 hatchback. The person that helped me was Eddie and he was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. The week prior to buying the vehicle he let me test drive the Mazda and informed me about all the features that it had. The buying process was quick. We even got out of the car and walked around and passed salespeoples at the other lots. we drove up and had just gotten out, when your sales person (Justin) asked if he could help. we told him what we were looking for and the price range. After a little snag with scheduling and getting a rental, I was driven over to the car rental place. The staff was nice and professional and after two days I had my car back. 2015 Mustang GT. Oil change, tire rotation and checked the front brakes. Great service both at the dealership and with the shuttle; very impressive when I compare with another dealership in town. The bad news is that the front brakes still squeal from time-to-time at slow speeds. As it was when I brought it in, it is inconsistent. After a Google search, I am not the only one experiencing this and either it will go away or will become a big enough issue that Ford will have to come up with a solution. The car has < 8,000 miles on it.

I went in to look at the 2015 Ford Mustangs and Mr. Jesse Bolding approached me before I could step foot out of the car. I had a problem with the lug nut on my car wasn't screwed on properly. I had to have the stud cut off and replaced another shop. The new week I returned to the dealer for a tire we previous discussed that needed replacing. The dealer was calling the tire manufactory to see it they would pro rate the cost of replacement.After telling them of my previous problem with the stud, they offered to pay the cost of the repair. After I told them it had been paid, we settle by them replacing the tire for free.THANK YOU STIVERS!

A bit of a bump. Wrong part ordered, delaying/complicating repair. Individual involved Immediately apologized and took full responsibility. Problem eventually solved and I am satisfied. Recommendation: your personnel need to communicate better with each other, e.g. leave a note on the desk or computer that a customer asked for a return call. This simple step would have saved a lot of misunderstanding and heartburn.

I once said to the Stiver's service manager after waiting THREE HOURS to get the oil changed in my T-bird that "If you want to compete for the small preventative maintenance business -- you will have to do better than that!" I get my oil changed at the Stiver's QUICK LINE service department now and will continue to do so -- I can work on-line, watch TV, enjoy a clean environment -- and get my small maintenance items done by appointment or by merely just showing up. Stiver's has figured it out :-)

I purchased a 2015 Mustang GT. This was, by far, the best car buying experience I've ever had. I worked with Mitchell and Hunter at the dealership. Since I saved thousands compared to purchasing the vehicle in TX, I flew in from TX to purchase the vehicle. Mitchell and Hunter sent some to pick me up from the airport. Once I arrived at the dealership, there weren't any surprises. Test drove the vehicle. Completed the paperwork all within 20 mins and drove home. I'll happily recommend this dealership to everyone.

My experience with the people who I dealt with was very pleasant. I was looking for a F 250 and they put me in one at a price that I can afford. There was no pressure, they were not pushy ,very easy to deal with. I would have to say it was one of the most expensive vehicles that I have bought and I don't have buyers remorse because of the way they treated me and this is is a first. Sales person was friendly. The business person was pushy for selling extra warranty items for truck. He even stated he would even make a call to Ford Credit to lower the interest so it will be the same payment. That doesn't make sense; if that's the case why wouldn't the extra warranty be included for no cost. In my opinion, Ford should be back up the quality of trucks to include electronics for all warranty. Also, business person stated the electronics portion would be his concern since it was not covered under standard. Common sense would say if Ford has electronic issues it should be on them to cover expenses. The overall experience was better than previous ones.I did mark #2 down since Ford is being pushy for extending warranty of their product.

I made an appointment for a coolant flush on a SATURDAY, which I was very apprehensiveabout; however, it went very well. I received a pre-approval from an application I filled out on-line. Drove over 100 miles to visit the dealership.. Marc on used sales treated me like I was stupid... Constantly talked down to me because I was a female.. I let it slide because this was going to be my first car purchase on my own. They told me with a co-signer that I could get the car in my name. So I took the vehicle on an overnight test drive until my co-signer and I could return the next day (another 100 mile trip). When we arrived the next day they informed me that it would strictly be in my co-signers name and not mine. They were told I wanted the vehicle in my name to rebuild credit from my divorce and assured me that the car would be in my name with a co-signer. What a huge disappointment and a terrible experience. I also found out theater they used my co-signers name and social security number to add me to THEIR insurance policy. They said as long as the policy showed the same address as the co-signer for the lender that the dealership could go through. Then after the insurance print off was received that it could be removed from their policy and I could either get liability insurance or go insuranceLESS! What kind of dealership does that.... A DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY one.

I walked onto the lot to test drive a Mazda 3 and a Ford Focus. Eddie Johnson let me test drive both, and was knowledgeable and helpful. I asked to test drive the Mustang on a whim, and loved it immediately. When I returned with my wife, Eddie happily rode with us as she test drove the Focus and the Mustang.Eddie is a very nice person, and was helpful throughout the sales experience. He even went the extra mile: As they were Simonizing the car, we walked to a nearby restaurant. Eddie made sure our new car was finished quickly, and then drove over to pick us up after we ate. I purchased 2013 f150. traded in current vehicle. My sales man was very good. My only issue was the dishonesty about financing kickback to the dealer. I asked specifically if the rate I was being offered was the best offered to the dealer. When I discovered that I was financed about 1.2% over one of the rates offered to me, I realized I was deceived. I realized this goes on so I specifically asked. I was told a certified truck and new trucks get the best rate available from ford and other lenders. Regulations for mortgages don't allow this. I understand how the car trade system works and all i want is to know the truth. why does a car deal have to be a lie? We don't need more government but Where is the CFPB with loans on cars? Sad....

Overall, the salesman and other personnel I dealt with were A1. It would have been helpful to know the new emission requirements diesel trucks like the F350 DRW 4 x 4 I bought have to meet and all the special things such as DEF , the extra maintenance, the massive amount of oil it requires and the fact a purchaser needs a 70-80 page Diesel Supplement book. I didn't know it would obviously be very expensive and labor intensive to keep up. Had I been informed of the cost and trouble, which is my own fault , I would have reconsidered my needs and probably not have bought a truck that big. Maybe Ford can develop a new policy to show the average gas truck owner who wants to move up to a bigger diesel truck, the main differences they can expect to deal with ie,cost, maintenance, extra systems etc.so they can make a more informed decision. On the other hand, the salesman was very nice and made my buying experience as pleasant as one could be. Had I done my home work and really checked out the vehicle before I bought it, there would not have been any surprises. I do like the vehicle but I may feel different after a few years of ownership. Only time will tell.

Everyone there were very helpful. They would ask if you needed anything to make sure someone was helping you. They got me into a 2014 Mazda Isport. I absolutely love it. The only thing is the process is so long when you're waiting for a response from the banks. But I guess that's because they are trying to get the best price for their customer and that is very appreciated.

Priced a used 2013 Explorer XLT in the Birmingham market. Before buying did an online search and found we could purchase a new, and virtually the identical, vehicle for less from Stivers. Contacted the dealership, talked with Daniel Wait, and within a day agreed on a price. It was certainly worth a 90 minute drive to purchase a new vehicle for less money as well as deal with an excellent staff.

Service was overall excellent with the exception of a gentleman on your staff who made a snide comment about my not even 2 year old niece was going to disturb his customers. I found it quite rude. I did not get the man's name, however I did speak with Ryan about it. I hope that situation was dealt with accordingly. I realize there is tremendous financial pressure on all businesses. My service was done. Basically just wanted an oil change. Had a few other little things to do. This is the first time anyone has ever charged me to put new windshield wipers on. Usually when I buy them, they are put on for free. Then again. No charge for great car wash. Car really looked great. I'll be back.

Car was washed and cleaned; what a nice touch. Mitchell took great care of us during our car buying experience. We honestly HATE shopping for cars because most salesman AND their Managers take forever and you end up wasting half a day "haggling" when you tell them up front what you need, can afford, etc... We have not had to purchase a car in about 7 years and have been happy about that. The last time we did we had built a relationship with the dealer and they knew we were no nonsense and took care of us to the point that we could go there and pick a color and be done. We know that we are back in to a rebuilding of our credit and we were at the dealership for about four hours, but we also understood this time. As I stated before, Mitchell and the gentleman who we signed the papers with(Can't remember his name) made our time there fly by and made it almost fun. Which it what you'd want when getting a car.We were not in any hurry to get a car that day/night but BECAUSE OF Mitchell and how well we were taken care of, we decided to purchase a car that night. I can tell you that we will be back and we will ask for him because he listened and genuinely cared.We also appreciate the help from the other gentleman who also called me the next day with a better rate and bank! We decided to go with Stivers because of Paul's willingness to work with us and patience in understanding that we didn't want to be pressured into any purchase. While in San Antonio, we visited a Mazda dealership (and did not take kinda to their vulture-like customer service, telling us what mold we fit into, and therefore showing us cars that fit THEIR criteria), and on the spot decided not to purchase a car there and to make a final deal with Paul whatever the final price ended up being. His customer service was excellent and his readiness to help made us feel comfortable with the car we chose (not what the dealership chose for us). Unlike San Antonio, it appeared genuine and unique, and will certainly lead us to recommend this dealership to our friends and family. It's refreshing to see a dealership like Stiver's so willing to work with their customers until they reach a common goal. Both parties walk away happy.

We purchased a 2015 Ford Fusion. Been there from 11:30 am to 4 pm.. It was a bit way too long for the paper work, and all that to be done. Also they said that they will do the detailing on the car before we leave. No, they didn't clean off the dashboard and clean the film off of the inside windshield and rear mirror. I was a bit disappointed about that. Overall, I love my car!

I received a card by mail three month's after buying a 2015 Mustang to rate a service consultant whom I don't think I had any dealings with. I paid cash, so I did not deal with finance or service departments. They did have to change names on the owner information tag sheet, which was quick, bit a little inconvenient. They have average prices, sale's department are a little "Greasy," but ok friendly, and I rate this dealership average as the card sent with the request to rate the dealership is a very OLD business card with Capital Chevrolet on it. New cards can't be much to update, I would think. There is no follow-up after buying here though. Once sold, you are on your own unless you call them. Just not a business on top of customer appreciation, if you're looking for that kind of service.

For the past couple years I have been wanting to purchase a new car and get out of my high interest rate I had. One of the main reasons I went back to ford was because chevy had 2 recalls within the past year and that did not go over well with me. Stivers was about to get my way below my interest rate I was expecting. Great customer service and quality employees. They worked with me to make sure I was happy and understood my situation clearly. I walked out of Stivers with a new car and a smile on my face. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking at getting a quality car.

My mother and I leased two 2014 Ford's. Not only were we lied to were we disrespected as well. They do not deliver ...they tell the customer tons of lies and then don't deliver on their word (which is no good anyway). I would never, ever, ever, ever, ever , ever recommend buying a car from Stivers. They are a ignorant bunch of people, including the owner, Mr. Stivers. Every time I called or visited I never got the same person twice. I left messages, emails, called dozens of times about purchasing a vehicle and over the course of 4 weeks was given the run around. After test driving it twice and discovering it had a problem with the gauges, it was like they refused to work with me even though they promised they would fix the issue and call back. Never called, never returned my calls. I actually saw one employee literally run away as I drove up the next visit. As if that wasn't bad enough, my boyfriend who purchased a vehicle from them within the past year received the SAME treatment while attempting to fix a problem - a problem that nobody could tell us was or wasn't covered in the warranty. And they wanted to charge $90 just to figure out if it was. This was the extent of the "help" they offered. After getting tossed around from department to department and waiting for hours to be given completely different info, we finally gave up. Customer service? What customer service? Stivers may as well give up on renovations... With this kind of atmosphere and staff attitude they're going to make a really awful name for themselves. And I'll be glad to help with that. I am outraged and will go out of my way to make sure no one I know does any business here.

The biggest issue is communicating with the service department and the lack of support of getting a status on vehicles repair. The dealer had a rental car available on site. They lost my phone number while my car was in service. I called several times to the dealership but no return phones. The process on the part being stock was slow and it take awhile to receive it. I called Ford Customer Service to try get a response from the dealership and Ford Customer Service gave the answer they I needed and push the dealer to repair the car and it was completed within a couple days.

The dealership is now "STIVERS" Ford-Lincoln-Mecury. I love the vehicle I purchased, but the problems came when making the deal. We were very clear during the negotiations that we wanted a particular price "out the door" and the salesman made clear he understood that. We were able to settle on a price. It was a bank holiday, so we were unable to obtain an accurate pay-off on my trade-in. I estimated it to be $17,000. Somehow when the paperwork came out, it had $16,000 as the trade-in value. When I questioned it, they said that was just a "placeholder" for the real amount and they would take care of it. I made a BIG MISTAKE believing them.A month passed, having to put new tires on it, and having it serviced once at the same dealership and after repeated inquiries about why the loan for my trade-in was continuing to show a balance, we get a phone call from Pete Peterson saying "you owe us $1,100" (the difference between the payoff and what was on the bill of sale). I responded you're not getting it and was then told. "Well, the problem with that is WE have the title application and you can't get the car tagged without it." Apparently, Mr. Peterson was unaware of the fact that we had repeatedly requested the title application and it had been faxed to us the week before. So, the car is titled and tagged in my name.They may eventually get the $1,100, but this will not be the last they hear from me, and they will lose many, many potential customers over this.
