I just purchased a 2021 Mazda CX-5 and I love it. This is my second vehicle purchased from Modern Mazda. Please stop down and see Tess. She will take care of you. The service department also does a good job. Overall the experience in doing business with Modern Mazda over the past several years has been great. My experience with Modern Mazda has been excellent so far. Joel knows and explained the vehicle in a very professional no pressure manner and made me feel comfortable and informed through the whole process. I had a couple of minor issues with the car and he took it upon himself to see that they got handled. Jessica handled all the necessary paperwork also in a very professional way and addressed any questions and special requests we had. Therefore the 5 stars.

I was truly overwhelmed with the whole car search experience, but when I went to Modern Mazda and worked with Jose Medina he was phenomenal. He made the whole experience feel seamless and worry free from start to finish. I let him know what I was looking for, we test drove a couple of vehicles, and he was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuine throughout the entire process. I ended up purchasing a vehicle from him and will be back in the future, whether it be for service or to purchase a different car when the time comes. I often hear of car dealership horror stories so it was important for me to go to a dealer with great ratings. After going through the buying process I understand why Modern Mazda has the ratings it does. Purchasing was super simple, price fair, and staff helpful. I was able to purchase and drive off the lot the day after my test drive with driver’s plates (not temporary dealer ones). I highly recommend Modern Mazda and will definitely consider it next time I purchase a vehicle.

Overall I had a very positive experience here at Modern Mazda. I was very much in need of a newer vehicle, and I was also sort of in a time crunch. I found the vehicle that was just right for me, at a market fair price. Ali Riley was my dealer, he was very friendly. He was able to help me out through the entire process. I would definitely recommend this dealership for a positive car buying experience!

in 2013 I did alot of online research when it came time to get a new vehicle. I was also upgrading from a family van to a small SUV. i made the choice of the CX5, which I absolutely love by the way. I went to Modern Mazda because they had the vehicle in stock that I was interested in with the amenities, color etc. I told them what I could afford each month. and pretty much signed and drove away in the 2014 CX5 that day. I knew when my lease was ending that I would be leasing a 2016 CX5 and was going to call them to schedule a time to come in and discuss however I received an email from Kim. She mentioned that she had already run some numbers for me and we set up a time to meet. I was literally in the dealership for about 30 minutes, handing them a deposit for pickup of the 2016CX5 2 days later. It was the easiest experience I have ever had at any car dealership ,and I've owned at least 10 vehicles in my lifetime! Kim is great, full of energy and very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure doing business with her.

Modern was the first and only dealer I went to, and less than a week later, I was driving a brand new 2016 charger from them. Vinny Valenti was patient and helpful in getting me into a car that fit my budget. I was unaware of the Dodge 20% discount, and am ecstatic over the bargain I received. If you don't want to be pressured and want a good deal, go to modern and trust the guys there. I've been looking into Charger/Challenger for the past year, knowing my car was on it's way out...I thought I would have to lease, or buy used, but boy was I wrong. Vinny found a way to get me into a brand new model while staying within my budget! The staff won't pressure you, since they don't work on commission, which is a refreshing change for car buyers. If you are into the classic look of Dodge, or the more modern look of Mazda, Modern Dodge/Mazda is the place for you!

Kim and Crystal were absolutely amazing. People complain about car buying being a terrible experience, but they found a way to make it painless and incredibly easy. They also were the only dealership that found the EXACT car I wanted (there were only a few in all of New England). I will definitely be going back to Modern for my next car.

Bought a 2016 Mazda 3 here and it was my very first car purchase. I was a little nervous going in but Kim Gelada made it the perfect car buying experience. Right away I felt comfortable and she was very informative and easy to talk to. All my questions were answered in depth and you can tell they really know their stuff there. In 2015, I bought my first ever new car, a 2015 Bright White Dodge Dart. The staff was absolutely wonderful and I'm overjoyed that they are still there. Just this week I revisited and received the same stellar service from Michael Malagutti over on the Dodge side. We checked out a 2013 Dodge Charger V8 Hemi - absolutely stunning piece of machinery and a 2016 Dodge Charger Rallye - Michael's favorite shade of blue! My experience was extremely welcoming and lax. There was no pressure selling and he took in everything I told him and gave me exactly what I'm looking for. During my time of considering, Michael sent me an awesome virtual tour of the 2013 he showed me. He's very funny and easy to talk to, something that is essential to being in sales. Although I'm not quite ready as I thought to jump into the Charger today, I know in the near future I will be returning to Modern Motors to work with Michael on a better deal. Thank you again!

My rercient experience at Modern Dodge was very, very, good. The sales person; ( Vinny Valente ) was super! He was very knowlegeable of all aspects of the vehicle and what I wanted. He did not lead me into things I didn't need or want. Since I had to special order my truck, Vinny was great to explain every option I asked about. He kept me involved in the progress almost weekly and always answered my phone calls and emails promptly.Everyone who was involved in the process was professional, polite, and caring for my vehicles needs as well as for my own well being as a person.I felt like a true valued customer not just another sale.

Was online searching for a Dodge pickup. I came across a 2011 Dodge at Modern Mazda I was interested in. Modern Mazda was easy to deal with. Unlike other dealers who try and push and pull you into a deal Moderns sales staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgable. My sales person Betty Irizarry is top notch. She made it easy. In fact I actually enjoyed the process of purchasing a new truck. Betty followed thru on all my concerns and requests and I'm happy to say that I'm now the owner of an incredible truck. We had a very good experience in purchasing our new CX-5 Sport from Modern Mazda. Betty Irizarry was great. She was able to answer all of our questions and she worked with us to get the price/payment that would work for us. Also, when we went it was later in the evening (close to closing time for the Dealer) and Betty never made us feel rushed and took the time to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. Through picking up the car and the financing paperwork, we also worked with Fish (John) and Crystal who were also very helpful and took the time to make sure we understood everything and that they had addressed all our questions. It was a very nice experience and we definitely will return when it is time for a new car.

On Labor day as we were cruising the northwest hills and we happened to stop at Modern Motors in Thomaston. So pleased they were open, I was met by a gentleman named Fish who showed us a 2011 cx9 touring. He showed me all the options this car had and then we went for a test ride. Handled beautifully and was very roomy and had everything I was looking for. I was in the market for a new car but was looking in particular for a Ford Explorer and had crossed off other dealers from my list. Fish explained all the fine points of this car and I had an extremely wonderful experience from the moment we signed, everything was taken care of for me, and the next day I picked up my new car all registered and insured, absolutely amazing. I could not of asked for a better sales person. I am still in awe on how easy and friendly my experience was. Now when my hubby is away for the winter he nor I will worry if I will make it home in the snow.

Vinny Valenti was wonderful to/with my daughter who was buying for first time. He was informative, patient, and encouraging. Live 45" or so away, and he sent video of car before we even drove up. He was timely in all communications, but not at all "pushy". Mark MacDonald for the paperwork was kind, and approachable. My daughter had looked at many other places as well during this first time experience, and was surprised at the vast differences between dealerships; Modern Motors - with Vinny and Mark - offered no BS, no hard sells, just support, information, and a painless experience! My husband and I will be looking to purchase a vehicle in several months, and this will be our first stop.

Saw this truck online, contacted them and promptly received an email and a 5 minute walk around video of the truck. No other dealership had done this before. I was very impressed. Vinny contacted me and we worked out a time when I could see the Dodge, providing it was still for sale. I was driving almost 2 hours to see it and was not disappointed. Vinny made the transaction almost seamless and I was driving home a few hours later, a very happy man. Needless to say, I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again. Great group of people! Vinny provided me with a detailed, 5 minute walk around video of the truck after I inquired about it. I drove almost 2 hours to see the Dodge and was not disappointed. Went to Modern Mazda in Thomaston expecting to shop, but not make a definite decision on a purchase. I had heard and read only good things about the Mazda 3, a car that seemed to fit all my criteria. I had also been looking at other candidate cars, but after a test drive and Modern Mazda's price, including more money than I expected for my old car, everything was right and I bought the car after my wife also gave it a test drive. Received excellent treatment from everyone on the staff. Two weeks later, I'm very happy with my new car.

I have dealt with many dealerships over the years and have always had a "Typical Cars Salesman" trying to close the sale from the moment I walked into the dealership. Fish was very friendly, thorough and i never felt pressured to make a decision. He took the time to make a personal video for me highlighting all of the features and how they would benefit me. Purchased a CPO Mazda 3, and had a great purchasing experience. Sales associate, Aliek Riley, was very responsive and easy to work with. After a good deal of shopping online, I found a car I was interested in at Modern and contacted the dealership to make an appointment. Ali had the car ready to view and drive when i arrived, which may seem like a pretty simple thing, but apparently its not, since I had been to a couple of dealerships already where they mistakenly told me they had the car I viewed online, only to arrive and the car not be there.Good deal, good service, and I LOVE my ride.

We had such a great experience here buying a Mazda 3 two years ago. Now in need of a minivan, I was happy to see they had a used one that fit my needs. Vinny made it easy to compare the Grand Caravan to a Ram ProMaster. After deciding on the Grand Caravan, we worked out all the details and we made a deal I was happy with. I'd recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new OR used car. The salespeople do not jump all over you when you walk in, and it's refreshingly a low-pressure environment. Not your typical car-buying experience!

Had a wonderful experience purchasing (leasing) a new 2016 CX-5. The salesperson who helped me was Melanie Deprey and she was wonderful. Knowledgeable about the vehicle yet she didn't hesitate to ask her manager, Cystal Booth, if she was not sure about a feature. When I was looking at the cars and when I went back to get my new vehicle she was so patient showing me all the features. I never felt rushed at any point. This is my second vehicle from Modern Mazda and I have found all the employees to be very nice. From Mark McDonald who will walk you through the paperwork to the employees who work on the cars they are a nice, professional group of people.

The dealership was clean and salespeople straightforward, easygoing, and informative. I walked in to test drive a Mazda CX-5 (beautiful car, by the way) with a great TrueCar quote. Kim Gelada, the person we worked with, was awesome and connected us with a $500 incentive. Way below sticker! Financing was easy, no pressure, and friendly. Not what I generally expect in a car purchase experience.If you purchase out of state then registration will take a little longer. It's worth the drive and the wait for sure!

I had already been a satisfied customer with Modern Mazda for more than a year. In February of 2015, salesperson Kim Gelada and the Marc MacDonald in the financing department did an excellent job with the lease of my 2015 Mazda 3. I have been a fan of Modern Mazda and their cars ever since.But as we know all too well, it's in times of trial and misfortune that true integrity and customer service excellence rise to the top. When my car got totaled and I felt like my world was spinning out of control, it was Kim and Marc who came to the rescue.In very short time, Kim got me into an other car and reassured me throughout the entire process that she "had my six." The very same can be said for Marc who guided me through the process with getting me back on the road. Both Kim and Marc ~ as well as the entire team at Mazda Motors ~ made me feel like all would be put right again.I live in Dutchess County, New York. Modern Mazda staff is always top notch in our book. After traveling more than an hour, we always get friendly, welcoming hellos from everyone when we walk in. Our salesperson Kim Gelada helps us the moment she takes our call even when we ask her to get us a vehicle "immediately" (our Mazda 3 was totaled last week). Marc MacDonald takes us through the finances cheerfully and effortlessly. The service department gets us in and out quickly -- they even wash our vehicles when we bring our Mazdas in for their regular service. We couldn't be happier to have Modern Mazda in our corner and we highly recommend them.

I had a wonderful experience at Modern Mazda in Thomaston, CT. I had my heart set on a Jeep Grand Cherokee and decided to stop by to see the Mazda CX-5. Kim Gelada came right up to me and found a car (on the lot) that included everything I asked for. I was able to test drive it and within the hour, a deal was made. Even though I didn't have the down payment available, I was able to put down a deposit so she could hold the car for me until I got paid. If it wasn't for Kim and her phenomenal customer service, I wouldn't be driving the Mazda CX-5 today. If you're in the market for a new car, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND visiting Kim Gelada!!!!!

Just bought a 2016.5 CX-5 from Modern Mazda. Betty was our sales consultant. The process was easy, quick and simple. Very happy with the purchase. We already knew what we wanted and they have it in inventory. I just had to go through a little negotiation with the price which is the only part I don't enjoy but I understand it's a business and they do need to make money to keep the business going. Maybe you could find a lower price somewhere else but Betty was responsive and make a deal that worked for us. True, I could have gone to another dealer that is $100 cheaper for the car but risk the bad service reviews... I don't think it's worth it. Overall, I'm quite happy with the buying experience.

I just bought a used 2009 Mazda CX-7 from Modern Mazda. It's the first time at their dealership. I traveled about an hour to get there and it was well worth the drive!! John Salmon is the best salesperson! He was such a nice person and very thorough and explained everything about the vehicle before I test drove it and before I drove it home. My first time buying an SUV and he made it very comfortable for me. I recommend going to this dealership for their great customer service! Straight forward transaction. Communicated by email and phone, and drove 1 hour and showed up to pick up the car. No surprises. The best price in 100 mile radius. She got the color combination I wanted, which wasn't widely available, from another dealer in just a couple of days. I would buy from them again.

We were looking for an all wheel drive vehicle and had decided to test drive the CX5. The CX5 was the perfect size and had details we were looking for. Betty greeted us as we walked in the door and was friendly and helpful beyond what I would have expected. After deciding that this was the car that we definitely wanted to purchase, they were able to complete all the paperwork so that I could drive it home later that day. I got a great rate from the dealership. Betty explained everything and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. There was even a sweet thank you note wishing me well with the new car left inside for me to find when I got home. We went to Modern Mazda Dodge this weekend to look at a used Toyota FJ Cruiser. We got there early to look at the vehicle before they opened. Ali Riley came up to us before he even went into start his day. He let us check out the truck while he was in a morning meeting and then came back to help us out. Ali and the entire staff were very low pressure, and worked with us to get to a price that was absolutely fair. It has been over a decade since I had to purchase a car and I expected the worst. I found this experience the exact opposite. The hardest part was deciding which vehicle was the right one. Ali and Mark made everything else easy.Modern will be the first stop I make when the time comes to get another vehicle.

We were extremely impressed with the efficiency and professionalism Ali Riley at Modern Mazda granted us. Normally going to the dealer is a drag, he arranged everything for us, the transaction after the initial visit was done through quick phone calls and texting. We bought a Honda Ridgeline a month and a half ago and worked with Vinny Valenti. The truck has been great, the price was right, and Vinny was very good to work with. I stepped on the lot simply curious if they had anything in our price range with good quality and low miles, and Vinny worked to find us something that would meet what we wanted. Friday morning I popped in with my 2 young kids and he was very friendly and did what he could to set us up quickly. We picked it up with my husband that evening, and everybody there was very nice. I would definitely recommend working with Modern Mazda, and especially with Vinny!

I've bought two Mazda CX-5s from Modern and been very happy with the way the sales process has gone in each instance. I actually had the first vehicle. a 2014 (purchased in 2013), for three years, and had no plans for a new one because I still had two years to go in paying off the loan. However, out of the blue, I was contacted in May 2016 by my original sales rep, Kim Gelada, who proposed the idea of my upgrading to the latest model and said she thought it could be arranged that my monthly payments would be about the same (provided I made another down payment comparable to my original one). Needless to say, this sounded appealing since I drive a lot for my job, and had put nearly 90,000 miles on the car during those first three years. What I probably appreciated the most, however, was that Kim took a low-key sales approach and did not apply any pressure once I indicated some interest. I actually waited several weeks to get back to her, and when I did, the low-interest rate she'd offered me was about to expire because it was the last day of the month. Not wanting to pull the trigger quite that quickly, I decided to wait and see if the same interest rate would be available the next month. When Kim learned that was the case, she called me back the following day and then arranged for a car in my desired color to be delivered within about 10 days.

After endless searching, I found the car I really wanted at a place called Modern Mazda. When I called, a man named John Salmon answered the phone. We talked for a bit about the car, and I explained I was trying to set up a few test drives in the area. The tone of our conversation was warm and relaxed, and he was very accommodating as I put together a schedule for the day. He offered that I call him by his nickname, Fish, which made me smile. When I got off the phone, I didn't feel so frazzled by all the choices, challenges and chaos of car shopping, which was very nice. I had arranged several test drives on the same day because of how far away I live pretty far from this cluster of dealerships, so I arranged several test drives on the same day. And of course, each test drive took a little longer than expected. Fish understood when I pushed back our apt, and greeted me warmly when I arrived. We talked about the car and what I was looking for. He asked me very thoughtful questions about my routine and and requirements, which really helped me understand my own decisions. He told me about the car's history and service record. And then it was time to go for a drive :) :) :)The test drive was great! The car was waiting just outside the office, looked spotless & had that lovely New Car smell. He gave an overview of the 'need to know' stuff, I adjusted my seat and got a feel for the clutch. Fish allowed me to explore & adjust untill I was ready. I pushed the ignition button and then we were off. Modern Mazda is located up Rt. 8, in the heart of Connecticut. The 2 lane highway curves through the forrest and rolling terrain. It's woodsy, way up in the sticks, and it's a really fun area to drive around.This type of terrain will put any car through its paces. Tight curvy backroads and long, smooth highways where you can really open the throttle. I hear that State Troopers in the area might let you go 79[mph], but not any faster. Good reminder.(***This statement is an assumed opinion with no real validity ) We drove around for about 25min. Liking this car more and more every minute. By the time were done I was in love with the car. But I still wasn't sure if it was within my realm. So we talked. He worked with me to make owning a practical reality. At first I wasn't sure I could swing it, but I came away a proud new owner. I have a great deal of gratitude for my experience with Fish at Modern Mazda. After the paperwork and registration was complete, I was given a tour of their services and maintenance facilities. Ill be frank here, the tour was a bit exhaustive. You can tell by looking at the facility that they offer full service, but the manager showing us around was intent on explaining every service offered. He also introduced me to about 3 people,like a welcome to the fam ceremony. I kinda just wanted to drive my new car. That said, I wish they weren't so far away, because I was really impressed with their facility and presentation. All in all, I am really happy with my car, and most definitely with my experience at Modern Mazda. Absolutely recommended. Thanks guys!!!

So we Just leased a 2016 RT Dodge Durango at the Dodge dealership in Thomaston, CT!! We had an amazing experience with our salesman Vinny. We came in and told him exactly what we were looking for and it only took him a few days to find our perfect car!! This was the first time I went car shopping on my own without hubby or my parents. I knew what kind of car I was looking for but had no idea if it would fit in the budget. He was informative, easy to speak with, very friendly, courteous, and didn't make me feel like he wanted a sale. When the initial price was out of our price range, he and Mark MacDonald, the financial person, were willing to work on the price with me, but (when I realized I liked a different car) found the car for me, in a lease. The monthly payment was below what I was looking for and I happily jumped at the offer. I would HIGHLY recommend you go to Modern motors in Thomaston, CT. if you are looking for a friendly, no pressure, sales team that is there for you and to get you into the car of your dreams!!!

From where I live, Modern Motors is a distance, but what a place to get a vehicle. Vinny Valenti ismy new guy. A bit out of the way for me, but worth the trip. The sales people are professional, knowledgeable, personable, and fun to work with. Just as I left the dealership the first day I saw the car, Kim made a great video for me to share with my family. It's a great way to be reminded of the great features of the car.

Wow! I hadn't bought a new car in 10 years and Crystal Booth made me feel very comfortable with the whole process. Crystal Booth is very knowledgeable about every aspect of buying a car. The test drive, the paperwork, all the bells and whistles on the new vehicle ( a Mazda 3.) She continues to be there for me and answer any and all questions I have as they come up. I just recently bought a Mazda CX-3, my second Mazda from this dealerships. Also the dealership my family members always go to so all the employees were very good to us and gave a a great deal. "Fish" directly was our sales person and he was very nice and knowledgeable and made the process go along smoothly. I took a long ride to Thomaston from Windors, CT and within a hour they gave me a good offer on my trade and approved me for a small loan, I was a very happy and satisfied costumor in my brand new 2013 Mazda CX-5. Finally found the car I've been searching for. And I couldn't be more happier. A Pre-owned certified 2014 Mazda3. I've driven only Hondas in the past and this car by far tops them all. Buying a new car from Modern Mazda was a pleasant experience. They were the first dealer I went to and took a test drive in a new Mazda 6 GT with the tech package. The salesmen was very respectful of my wishes to only communicate by email even though he could have easily called if he wanted to but he didn't and that was a great way for me to avoid he said she said problem. The salesmen goes by the nickname of "Fish", ( John Salmon), real nice person to work with. I would recommend Modern Mazda if you want really nice car like the Mazda 6.

I finally found the car I have been searching for. 2014 Mazda 3 I Touring. And I have to say it's one of the nicest car's I've ever owned and driving. I've always driving and owned nothing but Honda and Toyota and this Mazda is by far way better. I have been doing a lot of research with consumer reports on the Mazda3 and have to say that I was very impressed with their high ratings. I think I've found my new make in cars. I've been looking for some time through the auto apps. Cars.Com was by far the best one to use. I purchased my 2014 Certified Pre- Owned Mazda through Modern Mazda In Thomaston ,CT. It was over an hour drive for me but well worth it. When I first met my sales rep Kim Gelada, I just knew it was going to be a joy in dealing with her and it was. She made it very easy to understand everything about the car and the whole package deal. I had been researching varied vehicles for months now and knew exactly what I was looking for. After finding the specific model and color of the vehicle I wanted on Autotrader.com, I traveled 1.5hrs to Modern Mazda where they were very helpful and not in the slightest bit pushy. Crystal Booth was my salesperson and she was a great help; very polite, energetic, and knowledgeable. Although the price was not decreased from the sticker much, I do believe I got exactly what I paid for and again at no point did she attempt to talk me into other add-ons that I did not need.

The dealership was very easy to get to, making the location great to go back to when My car needs to be serviced. I was able to trade in my Volkswagen Beetle and Purchase my car with the help of Kim Gelada.It was refreshing to converse with another women while discussing the features on the car and taking a test drive. I had a great experience buying my brand new 2016 CX-5 from this dealership. The best thing about this dealership is there was no pressure. When I walked through the door there were not a million sales people trying to attack me. I worked with Crystal Booth who was amazing. I worked with Kim through email and she was never pushy about getting me in or the price I submitted. She was very knowledgeable about the vehicle I purchased and extremely personable. She even washed the vehicle as I was filling out the paperwork since it was late in the day and the detailers had gone home. She promised us a full detailing when we wanted. Mike was also very nice. I was in and out in about one hour and 45 minutes, and that includes the test drive, which we were able to take on the highway and some back roads. Purchased a new Mazda CX5 Touring. I would definitely do business with them again.

Bought a used 1500 RAM. excellent condition but unique set up . Just what I have been "looking for" for years. That special truck I promised myself once my kids were grown up and out. I staggered onto the lot not really thinking of buying more evaluating than anything. Getting a feel for the market. Sales contact was professional and very pleasant. After a brief discussion with rep went home. Couple of days later the rep sent me an Instagram video of the truck. Very well shot, good description and he also compared the unique truck with a couple of recent inventory adds that were very nice as well. I was able to watch that video a few times...think things over at my own pace. Web surfing makes it easy to evaluate cars and trucks. Get all the stats and figures , yet you don't get a feel for the actual vehicle. This video overview was an excellent method of at home "test driving".

On Monday, March 7, I bought a new Mazda CX-5 from Modern Motors in Thomaston, CT. Kimberly Gelada was the sales rep that I worked with. She was very helpful during the whole process. She clearly explained all the paperwork and contracts involved in the purchase. She clearly explained the purpose of all the buttons on the dashboard and the functions they controlled, some of which I didn't have on my old car. She then helped me move all my belongings from my old car to my noes car. Finally, in the two or three days after the purchase, I stopped by with a few questions and she was very helpful in answering them. I would strongly recommend Modern Motors and Kimberly Gelada if you want a new car.

Please do not go to these cheaters. I bought this car almost 7 week back and i was promised my tag and title in 2 weeks time ( I bought in CT and registration suppose to be in MD). After 7 + weeks they did not get my registration done. I have to garaged my car and making payments. I can not use it until I get Tags. All the time i call dealership for tag they tell me its on way. As per dealership tag is on the way since last 4 weeks. Save yourself and your time and do not go to this dealership at all. They will sell you crap. I paid $399.00 for GPS in my New Mazda6 2016 and they put a crap SD card which is piece of xxxx. soon after i used it same day I called as it was showing as if i am no where on road. Not picking up address well. so many issues. I called them for replacement may 10 times but no solution. every time i called they said we will call you back and guess what never got any call back. Sales Lady Crystal Booth was like you bought it and you got it. We can not do anything now.

i bought a used truck from Modern Mazda - 2014 ram with 20,000 miles. i live in New Hampshire so i drove down to pick it up on Dec 17 2015 - Modern Mazda said in Conn. vehicles can be released with out being registered, so i wrote them a check for 802.32. They said they could register it in NH - NH would send them the plates and they would send the plates to me. IT sounds like a good story, but now its January 15 2016 and my temp plates run out tomorrow and I still have no plates and the bank and the bank doesn't have the title. So i call and the bank calls, Modern Mazda tells the bank the state of Conn. has the title - no wait two day later we do have the title but we can't register the truck in NH our guy can figure it out. i call again - then were is my 802.32 - we sent it with the title to your bank - so I call the bank - nope we don't have it - so call Modern Mazda - this lady signed for it on this day - so I call the bank - the title came to this branch - she works at another branch - bank lady says " let me call" well guess what - maybe we didn't mail the check -a day later nope we didn't - so three days later the bank finally gets my check for 786.32 - if you remember i gave them a check for 802.32 so for my inconvenience it cost me $16.00 - maybe that's what it cost to over night me my money.

Absolutely love my new Mazda 6. Had a great experience at Modern Mazda. Worked with Stephanie to arrange the best possible deal I could get around the CT area. Really friendly and helpful staff. Before I drove out with my Mazda 6, I was given a detailed description of the features and accessories I had installed in my car. I was also handed a complimentary set of cleaning supplies for my car by Mike and to top that off, the first two oil changes are on them. Highly recommend them!

Contacted Modern Mazda via internet. Crystal contacted me immediately. I was interested in leasing a 2016 Mazda6 GT. I told her that I had just had a bad experience with another CT dealer and that I wasn't interested in playing games. Just wanted a deal that was fair to both myself and them. By this time I had a pretty good idea what a good lease deal would be. She and Mike worked up a deal for me that was way better than I expected. Gave me a good base price without any haggling and found some other savings for me along with a great finance rate. Did not pressure me to buy any extras or to come there for service. We were torn between the Mazda3 and a Honda Civic. The Mazda won out for several reasons, but what a pleasure it was to deal with the folks at Modern. It's a bit of a hike for us, we live in the Northwest Corner, but the Mazda got good reviews.Buying a new car is always stressful, but the folks at Mazda were not pushy, but clearly they are proud of their product. This is our first Mazda, I hope it lasts for many years, and when we're shopping for another we definitely will make the drive to Thomaston. Thank you for such good service!

I purchased a 2015 Mazda 6 in Soul Red in July 2014. I know a bit late writing a review. I absolutely love the car!!! I especially love the 6 speed manual transmission and the color. I worked with Kim G and she was great. This is the second car I've bought from Modern Mazda. My first one was a Dodge Grand Caravan back in 2000 when my kids were little. I would definitely recommend the dealership.

I stopped in at Modern Motors on a whim, on my way to an appointment to look at a vehicle with another dealership. Within five minutes of speaking with Senior Product Consultant, Ali, I knew that he understood my needs and would successfully help me to find the vehicle that would meet all of my needs. Ali was very personable, very knowledgeable, and was very helpful in all respects. He went out of his way to ensure that I left as a very satisfied customer. I recently purchased a 2016 Mazda CX-5 which I am absolutely in love with, soul red with parchment interior. I made several trips there before my purchase and every time I was greeted and taken care of by my salesperson Kim. Every question I had was answered, and every detail I needed attended to was taken care of as well. Mazda vehicles are definetly the way to go, they have a high quality product at a reasonable price. This is my first new vehicle in long while. I am very pleased with it so far. My buying experience was good. I ended up financing with the dealer, as they were able to give me a rate comparable to my credit union. I wish the finance officer had told me before I came to pick up the vehicle that he could have saved me $500 if I already had a Chase account, which I do, but did not have my card with me... The salesman, Jose, was very informative and helpful. No high pressure to buy.

I recently bought a new 2015 ram 2500 from modern motors, originally we just stopped in to look at the truck and sat down with Timothy Rozanski which was the best thing that happened to us. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the truck which made me feel comfortable. He had a way about him that was comforting and not pushy unlike most other sales associates. Next thing you know we sat down with the sales manager who was also very pleasant and talked some numbers and made a deal. It was the best decision I ever made to buy my truck from modern motors and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase my future vehicles from them.

I was looking for a new Mazda and visited the dealers locally to me. At the same time, I reached out via the internet to some dealers that weren't as close. Kim got in touch with me quickly and from there the experience was great. She easily beat the price of the local dealers and almost everything was done via email. I showed up, drove the car, got my trade assessed and closed the deal. It was probably the best car buying experience I've had. Kim was great to work with - very friendly, very prompt and knowledgeable in her responses. It was almost an hour drive to get here, but well worth it.

I drove from 50 mins away to purchase my SUB and it was all worth the drive. Miguel H. was diligent with responding back to me and he made my car shopping experience an excellent one. A week ago our car was totaled and we were pressed to purchase a new car. I first started our new car search on the internet by going to Edmond's to obtain new car specifications and fair market values. I then contacted (10) Dealerships on the internet, visited (4) in (3) days, and test drove (5) different car makes. Crystal Booth promptly responded to my internet inquiry and was well prepared for me when I came up to Modern Motors for a test drive. Crystal was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Why would someone travel 1 1/2 hours to purchase an automobile? Initaially the answer was value. After exhausting my immediate area on cars.com, and expanding my radius to 100 miles, I came upon two cars at Modern Mazda in Connecticut. From the moment I called the professionalism at Modern Mazda/Dodge was on display. Dave the salesman who answered my call was patient and informative and answered every one of my questions with respect and honesty. I made an appointment with Dave but when I arrived Dave was not available (I came purposely unannouced) and Larry DeMaida took over. My wife and I were treated with great respect and professionalism. I am a the owner of a retail store and value customer service above everything else. We challenged Larry and we test drove two vehicles. One of the factors that really impressed me about this dealership was the great condition these cars are in, how much room they have to display them, how organized they are and how knowledgeable the sales force was regarding their vehicles. Modern Mazda, is off the beaten path. It is not on a busy strip and they obviously have to work harder to draw and keep their customer. Their prices are extremely competitive and they were very easy to work with and eager to reach an agreement. From the general sales manager to the floor manager to the salesman, Larry to the finance mananger Mark McDonald, the process of purchasing my 2011 mazda 3 hatchback in mint condition was an absolute pleasure and completely painless. The dealership is prompt in returning calls and the head of the dealership Mr. Bandolino actually personally contacted me to respond to one of my concerns. So if you are looking for a great car, probably certified pre-owned with a clean car-fax, sold by an affable, knowledgeable sales force and finished by an equally competent and honest finance department shop first at Modern Mazda/Dodge. I have never had a more favorable experience at a dealership.

He took me for the test drive and then went to his office to finalize the deal. My trade in car was evaluated and a deal was worked out quickly. Our whole family has been buying Mazdas for over 25 years. Our kids all learned to drive in a Mazda and that shows what a sturdy and dependable car it is. We needed to replace our 11 year old Mazda Protage so we will have a dependable car going into retirement. I bought my first Mazda 3 in 2011 from Modern Motors! Everyone was so friendly and helpful it only seemed logical to go back when I was ready for a new car! After a series of accidents ( all not my fault! ) I decided to trade in my 3 for the 6! This time leasing! After discussing leasing with Chris, he put me in good hands! Kim was amazing! She was so friendly and never once did I feel pressured into getting something I didn't want! She listened and even have her input in an honest and helpful way! We test drove a few cars, and that same day I traded in my 'cursed' 3, and drove away with a 2015 6! Overall everyone was so great! My credit wasn't the greatest, but never did anyone make me feel bad or embarrassed. Instead, they helped get me the best deal possible with out breaking the bank! All so, putting me on the right direction to bettering my credit score! The best part about going to Modern Motors is that everyone works together. While I was waiting for all my paper work to go through, you could see how they are all a team, whether they sold you the car or not, they all worked to get and give you the best! I went to modern motors in search of a 2014 dodge challenger r t. I had previously visited Fitzpatrick's dodge and they ran our credit through one bank and sent us a letter in the mail telling us they weren't going to be able to sell us a car. My opinion is they could of at least called me and told me. I also went to Artiolis dodge they were really nice and offered me a good deal, but after four day's of trying to get us approved at a % rate that would bring our payment where we wanted to be, they could not do it either, I had previously went to modern motors on a sunday when they were closed, and they did not have what I wanted on their lot. After not being able to get what I wanted through the other dealers I went back to modern motors and talked to them I told them you don't have what I want, and I pulled out a printout of a challenger that I found online in long island ny. Their answer was we'll go get it for you! This was at like 3:00 in the afternoon and their finance manager was not working that day, The following morning at 9:15 a m I got a phone call telling me that they had got us approved at a rate to put our payment where we wanted it to be, awesome ! I had previously went there in April when my son got his first job and they were able to put him in a new dodge dart with only two weeks on the job and no credit history! Marc in finance is awesome , I should have went in there when they were open and told them what I wanted instead of running around wasting my time at other dealers.

I recently purchased a new Mazda 3 through Larry DeMaida at Modern Motors. Larry was extremely helpful, and he and the team at Modern made the process perfectly smooth. Haven't had service yet so can't comment on that.

This is my third. Mazda and my second madza 3.l just love madza you get so much for the price. The sales people are the best they treat you like family. I drove my. Car around the parking lot and a sales lady came out to help me. I didn;t Have to go looking for one. It makes your feel right at home. They had the color I wanted. Mazda repair service is very friendly. I. Drop my car off on Saturday and wait for lt.great for us who work.l love my Mazda. Its the best car you can buy . Up to date in everything. Although we had previously shopped around at other dealers, Crystal Booth was the first sales person to really take the time to walk through all the car's features, one by one. Crystal made buying from her and Modern Motors a relaxed and comfortable experience. Skipping the nearby dealership to make the drive up to Modern was definitely worth it

Have never purchased a diesel truck. The personnel I dealt with were extremely courteous and very knowledgable. All of my questions and concerns were promptly addressed to my satisfaction. The salesman who assisted us directly in the process, Miguel Hernandez, was very professional and yet exhibited a genuine personal concern. He is most definitely a valuable asset to your company. My initial inquiry was made through the internet and responded to right away. I made several visits to the dealership and test drove a variety of vehicles. The service was excellent each time. The entire sales team I worked with was very helpful in finding the exact vehicle that I wanted and were not overly zealous in their approach.

I purchased 2014 Mazda 3 i Grand Touring at Motors Mazda in Thomaston. The sale representive, Kim Gelada, is very professional and nice. She wont hard push me to make decission right the way. Most sale representives push buyers to make decission before we steped out the office. ( I dont like that sale method ). Kim gave me enough time and space to compare with cars, she explained the features and she offered me a great deal. Also, the after sale service is very good. Throughout my car shopping experience at Modern Mazda, I interacted with several staff. All of which were very personable and friendly. They were patient, kind and professional. I never felt like I was getting hit up with some spotty sales pitch and felt comfortable there. This is loads more than I can say for most of the other car dealerships I visited. I actually felt so at ease at Modern Mazda that I went there twice! I recommend this dealership to anyone.

The people at Modern Mazda were great! Our sales rep, Crystal Booth, did an outstanding job at explaining the differences between vehicles and listened to our needs. We ended up going with a new Mazda 3 Hatchback and are loving it. Even when I had addressed some concerns during the sales process, not only Crystal, but her managers as well were empathetic with my concerns. Recently purchased a 2014 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring SUV from Modern Motors. My salesperson Kimberly Gelada was a delight to work with. She was fully knowledgeable about all features of the vehicle and was complete in demonstrating and explaining the various features of the CX-9. At no time did I ever feel pressured and from initial welcome to the dealership to the final paperwork tasks, everything went smooth making this a pleasant,effortless purchase on my part. My wife Jen and I purchased a 2014 Durango Limited from Modern Motors in January 2014. Our sales person Miguel was awesome to deal with and was a straight shooter which was refreshing. We just left the chevy dealer nearby and had our fill of BS for the day. Their sales price was great too. I offerred 2 other deailerships the opportunity to beat it and they were a couple thousand higher. The car was detailed when we picked it up and my wife has been very happy with the vehicle since day #1. The only issue I had was that the fuel tank was not full when we picked it up (it was about 2/3rds full). It was not a deal breaker and something I will need to address if I am ever looking at trading in my Chevy truck for a Dodge.

Best experience I have ever had buying a car. Called the dealer to check stock while I was on the road, stock was confirmed over the phone. I arrived at the dealer an hour later and the car was washed and ready for a test drive. While my wife test drove her new car, the car I was driving was appraised and the deal calculated before she got back from her drive. Our salesman Larry DeMaida said he could have the car and paperwork ready in about an hour so that we could drive it home. He then pulled out two of the biggest sandwiches I have ever seen and set us up in front of a flat screen to eat and watch TV while he took care of the paperwork. Awesome dealership! Would definitely buy from them again!

Called and talked to Larry Demaida about leasing a CX-5 that they had in stock. Told him what I was looking for and the extra I wanted on the CX-5 that it did not have. He called back within twenty minutes with pricing and leasing payment.I went down to the dealership meet with Larry and took the CX-5 for a test drive which was ready for me. On the test ride he explained the CX-5 options and how all the controls worked. After the test ride we sat down reviewed the leasing term, payments, and trade in value of my Mazda 3. During this process Larry was very professional. He worked with Dan Grosso and both were able to come up with a very affordable leasing payment that fit into my budget. It was actual lower than originally quoted over the phone.I left leasing the CX-5 with a very affordable lease. When I took delivery of the CX-5 Larry reviewed all the controls and options on the CX-5 and scheduled my first oil change.This is my second Mazda from this dealership. Both times I left with a very good deal. I highly recommend this dealership.Larry even found my sunglasses in the Mazda I traded in . He called me to let me know he had them so I could pick them up. I was already sold on the M3 when I walked in, but when Edwin told me about features I wasn't aware of, it only reinforced my decision. He also made sure that my test drive route contained a variety of road conditions. My criteria was that I fit comfortably in the vehicle (I'm 6'5"), great gas mileage, blue tooth and fun to drive. Six weeks and over 2,600 miles later I can definitely say "mission accomplished"! I commute 90 miles a day, I am getting nearly 38 mpg since day one and this car is a joy to drive! I felt compelled to write this review because I found that on-line reviews were very helpful in assisting me in finding the right vehicle and dealer. I originally went to a Mazda dealer much closer to my home and the experience was the exact opposite of what I encountered at Modern Mazda. We have purchased 3 cars from this dealership. 1 was used others were new. All have been excellent vehicles. I had a couple of small issues with my first Mazda and the service department but most of the issues were corrected quickly and resolved. The CX-9 we just purchased is a very nice vehicle. it drives and handles exceptionally. It is smaller than our trade in was but we were looking to downsize a bit. We did so without compromising a ton of room. The salesman was very nice as was everyone we dealt with.

I recently got into a new lease for a 2014 Ram 1500. The sales team was super knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They were able to answer any and all questions that either me or my wife had to ask. The experience was great. Miguel helped us find the car that fit our needs and was able to negotiate and stay within our budget. He was friendly and very helpful especially when explaining the new features ( there are a lot) in the car. I would definitely purchase a car and recommend Modern Motors to others again.

Leased a new 2014 Mazda 3. Knowledgeable staff in sales, finance and support. In my opinion, very concerned with customer satisfaction. Thorough explanation of the vehicle and it's operation, maintenance and care. I had a trade-in and the process was very smooth on the finance end. I was impressed by the amount of staff as I was quickly attended to by another salesperson if my primary salesperson was busy or with another customer.

Another great experience with Modern Motors! We love our first Mazda 3 (2004 sedan and still running strong), and always had a good experience with the sales/service departments at MM, so looking for a new car again was easy. MM was our first stop and as good as ever. Kim Gelada was a great rep - knowledgeable, pleasant, and not pushy. She was very patient during our month-long survey of all the cars on our list. Just bought a brand new Mazda CX5 from Kimberly Gelada.. I LOVE my car!! The whole process went smooth and felt right. I was treat fair, everything I was told.. was ture, everything I was promised.. I got. Kimberly Gelada is by far the best car sales person I have ever met! she doesnt bs you, she doesnt waste your time, she doesnt hound you.. she is honest, friendly, professional and understanding. The dealership itself is one of a kind. I left there on saturday to compare prices and no one could compare. Not to mention no car was as smooth as the mazda. i stich over from Honda and I never thought I would. Walked in on a snowy Saturday wanting to upgrade from a fairly new sedan to an AWD crossover like the CX-9. Met Larry at the door, he was very helpful and got a CX-9 warmed up for us. Went on 2 separate test drives (once I drove then my wife). Began to workout a deal. Larry, Mike, and Mark were helpful and we were there for 3 hours total from start to leaving in the new car, which is good considering we were trying to keep our kids amused. So far I have been pleased with Modern Motors and expect the same quality of service when I bring the vehicle in for scheduled service. I would recommend Modern Motors and Larry DeMaida to anyone.

We bought a new 2014 Mazada 3 recently and we very satisfied with our sales person, Fish. He was very accommodating showing us several different kinds of Mazada 3 vehicles. I went to Modern motors after going to many other dealers looking for a new truck. All the other dealers were pushy and talked a lot of hype. I got connected with Vinnie Valenti , he took very good care of all my needs. I had been looking at other trucks but had my eyes on the beautiful black 2014 dodge Ram 1500 sport but just didn't think I would be able to afford it. After talking to him and the sales manager Brian they cut to the chase and gave me a rock bottom price and put together a package that worked with my trade. They were very respectful of all my concerns and the most professional of all the car dealers I went to. NEEDLES TO SAY THE 2014 BLACK DODGE RAM SPORT IS NO SITTING IN MY GARAGE!!! I was greeted by Vinnie as soon as i arrived, having spoken with him prior about an advertised special. i knew what i wanted and he couldn't have been more accommodating. I just recently purchased a new 2014 Mazda CX-5 last week. I have been doing my research for over a year trying to figure out what vehicle would best suit me. I dealt with lots of sales associates during this process and was not really impressed with to many of these workers. I can not stress enough how impressed I was to meet Miguel Hernandez when I walked into the dealership. Not only was he extremely pleasant to speak to but he went way beyond his duties to give me all the information that I needed to make my choice. He made this decision extremely easy and pleasant and he was the main reason for the sale. I truly did love the SUV when I saw it but his persuasion and ability to explain the entire vehicle to me is what made me decide to go with the sale. Leased a 2013 Mazda3 iTouring 5 door earlier this month. We last bought a Mazda from them in 1997. The entire experience was very pleasant, and everyone from the sales associates to the business office people were top drawer. The sales associates, Jose Medina and Miguel Hernandez were absolutely fabulous. They spent a lot of time going through all of the possible options as to buying vs. leasing and all the rest that goes with buying/leasing a new car. As this experience can be anything but pleasant, it was so refreshing to deal with everyone at Modern Motors. As far as the car goes, I forgot how much fun it is to drive a Mazda. All I can say, glad that I leased this one, and from the great people at Modern Motors. Vroom, Vroom!!

Even though I did not purchase a 2014 Mazda 6 I would like mention that I was very impressed with your dealership. I had been to some other Mazda dealerships in Connecticut and I didn't like the experience at all. At Modern Motors I test drove a 2014 Mazda 6 with Crystal. Crystal was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the product and she explained everything with a friendly disposition. If in the future I want buy a Mazda it would certainly be from Modern Motors and I would definitely want Crystal as my sales rep. Ultimately my decision not to purchase the Mazda 6 was due to it being so new, as stock was slowly trickling out of the factory. That being said I will keep you guys and the stylish Mazda 6 in mind when trade in time comes and I will definitely recommend Modern Motors and Crystal to any of my friends and colleagues who are looking to buy a Mazda.

Based on my smooth and easy experience purchasing a pre-owned Miata MX-5, I would highly recommend Modern Motors. I sent an e-mail over the weekend expressing my interest in a car and was promptly contacted on Monday by Kim. I went in for a test drive on Tuesday, then back on Wednesday to check out a second option. There was no pressure, they offered me fair market price and competitive financing (beat my credit union). Car buying can be stressful, but Kim's pleasant and friendly demeanor, as well as that of the managers and business office made the process painless. I live in West Hartford and can honestly say it was worth the trip!

Went to the Bethlehem Fair on Sat and as always enjoyed our selves. I've been trying to get my wife out of her Jeep for two years now with no luck. Low and behold we came upon Modern Motors cars and tent set up. Started talking with the salesman about vehicles and realized he actually knew something about the vehicles he represented. The salesman (Fish), then introduced my wife to the Mazda Miata MX-5. End of story. He took the time to go over the car top to bottom and answered all her questions no matter how silly (to Me). Monday I went down to Modern Motors and Fish and I ironed out the details. Came back in a few hours with my wife and when we pulled in, there sat the Miata with a big red bow on it . This Dealer ship has their act together and certainly made our Day. Good pricing and terrific sales staff.

I was in servicing my Mazda3, and decided to look at the CX-5. Larry was knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Jim was able to work with my financial constraints, and the car was ready for me in no time! I recommend both the 3 and the CX-5. Buying a car can be a stressful purchase. My husband and I went to 3 different dealers looking for a car that would fit our needs of having 4 grandchildren. John, "Fish" has great customer service skills. He listened to our needs and let us test drive different models, new and used. He went above and beyond the call if duty. He emailed us videos of vehicles that he thought would meet our requirements. He never gave up and found the perfect vehicle for us. It was not even on the list of vehicles that we were researching online. This took "Fish" 4 weeks but he did not give up. We felt like family with him. Like we had known him forever. He did not try to up sell us in any way. We purchased a pre-certified used vehicle that meets our needs and our grandchildren also love it.

I recently purchased a Certified Used Mazda 6 from this dealership and it was a really nice experience. I had just come from one of those pushy dealers in Watertown while I was out looking at Altimas. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot at Modern Motors, I fell in love with the Mazda 6 and forgot all about the altimas I had just seen. Then, Miguel came out to assist me. He was extremely helpful and low pressure, which was a relief after my experience with a very "typical" salesperson in Watertown. We went on a relaxing (and again low pressure) test drive and Miguel took his time to answer all of my questions and explain the car's features. When purchasing the car, the process was, yet again, low pressure. You hear so many horror stories of pushy and sneaky used car salesmen but I was relieved to deal with honest and friendly people at Modern Motors, including of course Miguel. I would recommend Miguel, Modern Motors, and the Mazda 6 to anyone I know with confidence.

My daughter was driving a 2000 Volks New Beetle that was nothing but a headache since we purchased it from a used car dealer not a dealership about 4 years ago. Because we purchased a certified vehicle it came with the orginial 7year/100,000 mile warranty on all major components from the original date of purchase. The dealership also offers ,free of charge, a lifetime warranty on major componets so long as you have an oil change, tire rotation & raidiator flushed with their service department at specified intervals.My daughter and I also received free pink Modern Motors T-Shirts showing appreciation for our business. I recently bought a new Mazda 6 from Modern, and the whole experience was pleasant. Kim G. zeroed in on what I wanted and did not try to pressure me into a top-line model or color I didn't want. After a nice test drive including highway and backroad, I was interested, but needed a couple days to think about it. No problem, no hassle. Kim called me after a day or two to tell me a "6" had just been delivered, and though it was not my first choice color, I went to take a look and was sold! Highly recommended.

After an extensive research trying to find not only the best price but also the best place to buy a Mazda 3 for my wife I found Modern Mazda in Thomaston, even though it is close to an hour away from where I live, the best place to buy a car, from my initial phone call with Vincent Valenti who from the beginning showed a lot of professionalism, enthusiasm and willingness to provide me with an excellent customer service, Vincent really knows how to treat customers and provide them with the best. We just bought a nice mazda3 from Bob Ermini. This is our second Mazda vehicle and we love it! We have a cx9 that is seven years old and I have not had any issues with my vehicle. I went to the dealer to by a new ram 2500 4 weeks ago and they appraised my vehicleat 26,500 but they could not find me a new truck so I waited and Vinney stated he had one coming in and 4 weeks later I went down and saw the truck with a new manager they re-appraised my vehicle and the value went down to 22,500 I was very insulted and dishearten that a dealer trying to earn my business would be so degrading and did not care if he lost a customer and I went to the chevy dealer who would treat a paying Customer with respect and try to bend over backwards to earn my business. I have several friends at work and around town that I will spread the word not to business with this dealer.

Sales floor atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing, not rehearsed and robotic like some of the bigger dealerships. I did not finance with them but still had the pleasure to sit down with the finance manager Mark MacDonald to fill out the paperwork, which he made easy and believe it or not, FUN!! The added perks that came with my used vehicle was impressive, the lifetime powertrain warranty is huge. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Our 2010 Prius lease was about to expire, so we needed to look for a replacement. After a recommendation by our 18 year old son, we decided to check out the Mazda brand. We did our research, and settled on the Mazda 3. When we arrived at the dealership, we were greeted by Kim. She listened to us, and showed us a 3. We were impressed, but needed some "extras", like navigation. She introduced us to the 3 GT, and we were hooked. Unfortunately, the color choices we wanted were not available in the lot, but there was one 3GT that had an add'l "tech package". It was quite interesting what the tech package offered, and we were hesitant as to if we really needed it. We went home and thought about it, drove some other cars, and talked to other dealers. After numerous emails back and forth with the Jim the owner, (who, by the way, took our phone calls immediately, not even a "who's calling?") we went back to Modern Mazda and sealed the deal with the tech package. Kim went over everything on the car and answered all our questions. Everyone at the dealership we dealt with, from Kim at the onset, Jim, Mark, the service people, were all professional and friendly. We are looking forward to a continued good relationship. Oh, and yes, it's only been a day that we've had the car, and it's truly fun to drive!

I sent out an internet request looking for pricing. Once I sent out the request I became very busy. Kim was great at keeping in touch but not being pushy. Kim invited me down for a test drive and was willing to work a deal with me. We all want more for less, but Kim did all she could do to make the deal happen. Kim is also very creative. At no point and time was I pressured into a decision, I asked for more than one test drive and she was very accommodating, and when I made my decision and expressed my concern about getting there to pick up the vehicle, she immediately offered to have someone come and get me. On the day of delivery, I was introduced to the service and parts department, and given a detailed description of all the features of the vehicle. What impressed me most was the relaxed nature of the entire process, and how friendly and helpful everyone I came into contact with was and is. I am actually looking forward to my first service visit. Thank you Kim for your help.

My daughter was looking to trade in her toyota celica for a used Mazda. We were greeted by Edwin. He was SO very friendly and asked all sorts of questions to help us in our search. Since my daughter still had a payment on her car, a used car wouldnt be the best option. Edwin suggested a new car! After looking at her finances and a couple of options, we decided that I would get the new car and she would take my car (which was paid for). What an amazing experience to say the least. I contacted Modern Motors on Friday March 29th with interest in the 2013 Mazda 3 and drove it home on Monday April 1st. (no April Fools joke here folks!) I had been comparing some various models by the competition. I'll admit I was not quite sure what to expect as it had been the early 90's since I really had done much looking at Mazda's. Wow what a change since those days! It started with the impressive reviews and comparisons I was able to find online with regards to the Mazda 3 but was equally as pleasently surprised by the experience i had with Modern Motors. We ended up working with quite a few different individuals throughout the process and all were professional but also very relaxed and easy going. Most of our dealing was done with Vinny & Edwin however we also had a chance to discuss some aspects with Sales Manger Mike and Owner Jim. Kudos to all of them on their handling everything casually, personally, and with the right amount of professionalism to make the whole experience comfortable. I won't get into a detailed review of the car as this really is about the dealer, but you can find plenty of info on reviews and comparisons for the Mazda 3 and after reading them, I just say, be sure to drive it. It performs and handles better than any of the other vehicles we tested out in the same class.....by far. They worked up a very strong deal right out of the gate so that their pricing was easily competative with the other 3 major competitors we were looking into. They were slightly higher than those cars, but only slightly. The cars performance alone would have justified the slight difference in price but even better than that was the car was better equipped than some of the competition and Modern Motors brings all kinds of added value to the table. Their Life-Time Powertrain Program is impressive..and yes, I said Life Time. Check it out for sure, basically just have to use them, at a very reasonable price, to do some basic standard maintanence (oil change, tire rotation, flush) at regular intervals. As long as you do them all, they cover your car for life. Go see them, their website, or give them a call for more details if you like. Additionally we recieved a coupon book with all kinds of valuable coupons, some one time deals and others with no expiration. (Free Car Washes whenever you want? seriously?) Other questions about the car and such after you drive away? Got you covered, they offer regularly scheduled workshops on Saturdays where owners can go in and ask questions, get advice, or just to chat with the experts on various topics. Even got a call from Vinny 3 days after I picked up the car to see if I had any questions about the car or needed anything from him at this point. Great job guys, keep it up! So far I am very happy with the experience and the car. As a prevous (many times over) Toyota owner, I have high hopes and expectations with so I'm looking forward to having my little Mazda3 prove to me its got the longevity I like to see from my cars! Just purchase a 2014 Mazda6 GT with all the options. Car is well built and easily can compete with Camry and Accord and come out the winner. Skyactiv technology is great. Get 4 cylinder fuel economy with V6 power. Modern Motors showed great patience in my purchase since I kept switching between the Mazda3 and Mazda6. The Trade they gave me was fair although I think I might have tried to negotiate a little better price on the new car. All and all I was very satisfied with the purchase process. Kim, and Mike were great through the entire process. This is my 5th purchase from Modern Mazda. The dealership really keeps me coming back and Mazda is definitely making great cars.

Bob was very attentive to my needs and didn't try to "upsell" something that I wasn't looking for. He listened to what my transportation needs were and found the perfect fit for me. After my purchase Bob took the time to go over important information in the owner's manual and made sure that I understood if I needed anything to just give hime a call. Bob also followed up with me 2 days after my car purchase to see if I might have any questions or concerns. In my opinion, Bob went above and beyond what defines "quality customer service". This is my fourth purchase within the last 5 years from this dealership, and I would not hesitate in recomending this dealership to anyone.

My interactions with Modern Motors Mazda were very pleasant. The employees I dealt with were courteous and provided for a hassle-free experience in buying my first new car. They understood what I was looking for, and while they made suggestions I did not feel pressured into changing my mind or buying unnecessary accessories. Once I had settled on the car and options I wanted, we were able to wrap things up quickly without having to spend a long time waiting for the car to be ready for pickup. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a Mazda.

Here's a tip...I don't care how much research the prospective buyer admits to have done, you shouldn't ever tell them that they know more than you. That's what I heard within the first minute I was at this dealership. I was taken on a very short test drive that did not at all show off the cars strengths. The salesman didn't really seem to know a lot about the car. The dealership claimed that the 2013 models would not be in for "months", like November, when 2 other dealerships had confirmed to me that it would be early September. They let me take the Mazda3 for an overnight test drive easily enough, which was nice. But that only confirmed that although I loved the looks, I hated the comfort level. I took it back, asked about the Grand. He didn't know! He couldn't answer my simple questions! He didn't even know how to operate the seat!!!! This guy knew nothing. He didn't try to sell me anything. The rest of the dealership guys looked bored and cranky, there were never any other customers buying.

From the very beginning, Edwin was honest, friendly, and helpful. Out of all the dealerships I went to (Manchester Mazda and Liberty Mazda), Modern Motors was able to give me the best price. When I went to pick up my new car (Mazda 3 5-door) everything f was ready. The whole experience there was easy. Everyone was honest. No one was pushy or aggressive either. I STRONGLY recommend this dealership! You will not be disappointed or mislead! I will definitely buy my next car from them!

I BOUGHT MY 1ST MAZDA FROM MODERN MOTORS LAST WEEK, THOUGH I HAVE STOPPED BY IN THE PAST WHEN LOOKING FOR USED CARS. THE STAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIVE WITHOUT BEING PUSHY. I PURCHASED A NEW MAZDA 3 AND MY SALESPERSON, EDWIN, THOROUGHLY REVIEWED EVERYTHING WITH ME BEFORE I LEFT WITH MY NEW CAR. HE WENT OVER THE BOOKLETS, THE FEATURES OF THE CAR, INTRODUCED ME TO THE SERVICE MGR. HE EVEN DID ALL THE SETTINGS IN THE CAR AND SYNCED MY PHONE TO THE BLUE TOOTH FEATURE (WHICH WAS A NICE SURPRISE TO ME). EDWIN FOLLOWED UP AFTER A FEW DAYS WITH A VERY NICE E-MAIL THANKING ME FOR MY BUSINESS, THEN WITH A PHONE CALL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND MODERN MOTORS TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A CAR. MY SISTER JUST PURCHASED A CAR FROM ANOTHER DEALERSHIP AND GOT ABSOLULTELY NO FOLLOW-UP TO HER PURCHASE AND NONE OF THE NICE TREATMENT I RECEIVED AT MODERN MOTORS. I CAN HONESTLY SAY, THIS WAS ONE OF THE BEST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER HAD IN BUYING A CAR AND WILL DEFINITELY RECOMMEND MODERN MOTORS TO OTHERS.

Good people, not as attentive as a high end seller, but OK. I bought a new car and I got less than half tank of gas, come on at least fill the gas tank on a new car! First time this has happened in the past 20 years buying over 12 vehicles..

I could not rate the dealership on there service as I live in new hampshire and have not had any service work done .But as far as there Dodge sales staff these guys were super to deal with.I very much enjoyed my time with these guys ,I went there to look at a very special truck and found what I was looking for but didnt want to be pushed and never felt that from any of these guys.We made the deal and we just love our slightly used but new Ram diesel duelly ,Thanks guys and hope that I can send some friends of ours your way in the future as I feel that we were treated with respect and had fun buying our beautiful new truck,we have had so many great comments on the truck,again thanks guys for all of you help in helping us with getting the deal done and the new truck

I came to Modern Motors on advice from a friend. I needed a roomy, safe, gas saving car for my family and buisness. What I found was an honest salesman in Ed. He took the time to walk me through what would be best for me as well as respecting what I liked. In the end I drove away with a car that is not only safe but reliable for years to come. I went to Modern Motors just to look at a Mazda 3 on a Saturday. The salesman explained and showed all the safety, performance, standard and optional equipment on the models. We went for a test drive in the model I was interested in on roads that actual showed how the car performed!!They then came through with a a very fair price and great financing. I went home thought about it, had a few questions and e-mailed the Sales Manager on Sunday because the dealership was closed. He replied within a couple of hours with the answers.The staff made the purchase very easy. The salesman even came and picked me up so I could get the car.I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a Mazda.

I bought a 2008 Subaru from this dealer. I got a very good price on the car and it is a solid car. My experience was pleasant and everyone was very nice. The car was available for pick up the very next day and the did a decent detail job for me ( I didn't like a few things on the inside but when I picked up the car they had done a decent job trying to remove them for me). They also put gas in the tank and had everything all set for me to go. I am a busy person so I was happy with the fact that I was in and out yet without feeling rushed. Their cars also come with a limited LIFETIME warranty at no extra charge as long as you get your oil changed and tires rotated there. This was the selling point for me because a warranty like that could cost on the upwards of an extra 2 grand... I recommend modern motors, everyone there was very nice and personable. I had a great experience.

I shopped around with several differnt dealers. I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was willing to pay. Most other dealers played the sales game, which I had no interest in playing. This dealership and the sales team was the only one that was up front and honest and what the incentives and pricing were. Ed Guinazzo was the sales rep that treated me the way I would treat any of my own clients. I'm looking forward to doing business with them again in the future.Jeff Cordisco

We have purchased 5 new vehicles in the past 15 years from various dealers and Modern Motors as been by far the best in customer service. Our salesman(Aaron) answered every question we had about our purchase immediatly and without hesitation. (very knowledgeable) Rachel was great to work with and made the pick up of our vehicle seamless. The finance department was excellent. We worked with Sean who explained every detail of every paper we had to sign. Nothing was rushed nor did we ever feel pressured. We would recommend Modern Motors without hesitation!!!!

I have purchased my last 4 vehicles from this dealership. The main reason I come back is this salesman Edwin Ocasio. I definatly like Mazdas, but of coarse there are other cars I like and are interested in sometimes. Then I think of past experiances with other dealerships and other salesman and I say to myself "no way" I'm going back to Edwin! You can tell he likes his job and he is so genuine. I never feel like he's just trying to sell something. I will always be loyal to him with my future purchases because of this customer service.

Modern Motors was the fourth dealership that we went to. The first dealership that we went to, where we bought my wife's car, treated us poorly. They never followed through and told us many things that were untrue. The next two dealerships had no idea about the products that Dodge sold. I had to tell them what products they had and educate them. They also never followed through when they promised they would. We went to Modern Motors and immediately they knew what I was talking about and had a wide knowledge on the product in question. I was inquiring about the new Dodge Challenger. They were extremely friendly and very helpful. My wife and I look very young but they did not treat us like we were too young to be buying a new car. When we finally bought the new 2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 in Green with Envy color and I called them constantly to see where in production it was, I was never greeted with disgust that AGAIN I was calling. Even when I was upset it was taking so long they took the time to talk to me and assure me that it was coming and that Dodge shipping takes forever. They kept up on it and even called the shipping company themselves to see if they could hurry the process along.In fact, the day that it came in Dave Kelly took a video of it coming off the truck so that I could see it and came in on his day off to finish all the paperwork with me. Never have we been treated so well. We would recommend this dealership to anyone and we will certainly be buying all of our vehicles from here in the future.Paul and Kim Hardy

When I was first looking for a used car I was not looking for a mazda. After hearing a lot of good feedback from others I decided to give mazda a shot. When I arrived at the dealership I was immediately greeted by Edwin with a friendly hand shake and smile. I explained to him what I was looking for and what my price range was and he showed me many different options. After debating between two different cars I made my decision and decided to chose a 2010 mazda 3. Edwin was extremely helpful throughout my entire experience and even dealt with my difficult father with a smile on his face. I had to pick up my car the following day and Edwin even came in on his day off to make sure everything was ready and prepared for me to take it home. I would highly recommend Modern Motors to anyone looking for a new or used car. I would also higly recommend asking for Edwin. Not only is he very friendly but he is extremely knowlegdeable about his job and unlike other dealers he did not pressure me into buying a car I did not want.

I found the overall experience in dealing with the Professionals at this dealership one of the best that I have ever had. I especially appreciated the time and understanding employed by Edwin Ocasio, he was a joy to work with he did not pressure me. We have bought a total of 4 vehicles from Modern Motors and have had nothing but great transactions each time. They take the time to listen to what you want and bend over backwards to help however they can. Ed G is excellent-- if they don't have just what you want on the lot, he'll find one somewhere else for you and get it-- customer satisfaction really is his priority-- and no high pressure!!The service department is also excellent. I have always had great service at Modern Motors. The customer service at this dealership is unparalleled. I have recommended numerous friends/coworkers to Modern Motors and they always have great things to say. I have never once heard a complaint about their service or sales department. Had very bad experience when the car I bought the day before in the daytime and picked it up the following evening in the rain. The car was parked outside in the rain and because it was dark I did not notice the body damage that happened while in their possession. They did a good job hiding the dent and rushed the delivery process to get rid of me. When I pulled in my garage I found the big dent in the car and tried to call them but they were closed. When I brought it to their attention they said I should have checked it even though it was dark and raining and they have no responsibility. Now I know why it was parked between two other cars in the dark and raining. I spoke to the service department and they could not help me either. They said the owner would accept no responsibility. Buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The following week I had a problem with the radio and they said that was not covered either.Their slogan that it "All about you" should read "After you buy it your on your own!!!"I will never recommend or buy another vehicle from Modern Motors and suggest you don't either.

Very friendly and easy to work with. I love my new car. They took the time to listen to my needs and were not high pressure. They also respond to emails quickly. I bought a cx-7 and they gave me a lifetime powertrain program too which is great. I have to get some of my service done there which is no biggy.

DO NOT USE this dealership. They are by far the worst dealership I have come across. They do not care about the customer as long as they make a sale. Between my time, gas and telephone calls I must have spent $300 to date cleaning up the mess they got me into with insurance cards.Unfortunately for Mazda, who make great cars, this dealership is representing them in the very worst way. I say again, DO NOT USE this dealer.
