This dealership does not get it. The service department talks out of both sides of the mouth, and does not tell you exactly what will be covered when your car goes in for service. There is an attitude there; you feel it over the phone and when you drop your vehicle off. Their courtesy shuttle service is half baked also as they will get you to work but not back. The cafe is great if you want to buy coffee and a snack before paying 100’s of dollars and waiting forever for your vehicle. Do not expect your car cleaned or washed as a service courtesy like so many other local dealers. How this place stays in business is a miracle, maybe because the good folks in Holyoke do not know what a quality dealership looks like.

My wife and I decided to purchase a 2016 Ford Explorer from Marcotte Ford, and the experience couldn't have been better. Nicole was fantastic throughout the entire buying process, keeping us informed of what was going on, making sure everything met our expectations. A few months later our other vehicle was needing to be replaced, so we returned to Nicole and ended up buying a 2013 Ford F-150. Well with a used vehicle, theres always the chance of it having issues... The issues were addressed to Rob in the service department and within a few days, all the issues were taken care of. While the truck was being fixed, they accommodated me with a loaner that was equivalent to what I owned. We couldn't be any happier with the experiences at Marcotte.

It would be nice if a service tech or writer went over the repairs to the vehicle instead of the clerk (they did not repair the vehicle and therefore have no idea of the repairs done or of future repairs) also at the same time, that individual could explain future concerns and any call back updates.

I went in early for just an oil change; 7 am and have to say that this was one of the BEST experiences that I have had. I have to give credit to James Broz.... your Service Adviser who is one of the main reasons why I keep coming back. Traveled 76 miles to buy a blue left 2015 f150.Showed up at 700 on black Friday Dealer Sales department was scheduled to open at 900.745 I was going for a test ride friendly staff general manager came in early to close the deal.I was able to nogiate a great deal even better than the best lost leader pricing advertised by the largest Dealer in the state.Very happy with the deal.I wish I lived closer and could have taken advantage of there service department.

Truck ready next day, day before Thanksgiving. Told him couldn't pick up until Friday. No problem, go Friday, greeted again, paid bill, very easy.

I had experienced a "hesitation" as I accelerated and when I had my 2nd oil change I mentioned it. I was told is was a defected clutch in the transmission and a part had to be ordered. It took a couple of months but I got the call and brought the car in and left it a couple of days because I was going out of town. Jim in parts dept. called me and said the car was ready... and as I drove it out of the driveway, it was like a new car. Wished I had complained sooner. They did a terrific job... first time.Thanks

Was looking for a used car, liked the Ford Fusions, had a really great agent, Andrew Tesini, who reassured me about the vehicle and it's reputation. I have been driving my 2011 SE Fusion for about a month and I like how it handles. Definitely am enjoying it. I would like,though, more information accessories ( such as tire pressure warnings and temperature etc...) like in the new dodge dart. Othewise it's great and like the style and look of the 2011 front end.

As always, I'm completely satisfied with the service department. The only complaint I have, this is the second time this has happened. Last year, my "Check Engine Coolant" lite came on, and I was charged $28.00 to have the lite reset, which I did get reimbursed for.Again, the lite came on, and I was charged $49.50 to have the coolant tested and the lite reset. My truck only has 39K on it and I can't imagine the coolant going bad with such low miles.That is my only complaint.Don Pare

My wife and I went in to get our annual inspection sticker. We were advised that there were several folks in front of us so there could be a wait. The good news is it was Saturday morning in which the Lug Nutz Cafe was in operation. We had our breakfast and chatted with another customer. About an hour later the lady we sat with was told her oil change was finished, shortly thereafter so was our Explorer. Truley a wonderful experience.

I had a flat tire on my way home from work on Monday. When I got home, I called Quick Lane and the the Service Advisor brought up my profile. We talked about what I wanted and what they could do. I dropped the car off on Tuesday morning and was taken to work by a very nice driver. I am so thankful to Jim, the excellent mechanics, and all the staff. I had an unexpected warning light come on as I arrived at work in Springfield. I have a 2014 Explorer and the warning involved my tire pressure. I did not want to leave work at the end of the day and see a flat tire. Jim let me bring my vehicle in right then and my tire pressure was adjusted (and the point services provided as well apparently). I now understand that this may be an ongoing issue as weather temperature fluctuates, but there was no way to know unless the problem was diagnosed properly. As the days get shorter, it was a great source of comfort to have the Explorer checked sooner rather than later. Many thanks to all, (PS: Jim offered a breakfast card, but I was too nervous to eat.)

Everything went well, and the service staff was very professional. I give a shout out to Jim as he helped me get my car finished in a timely manner, and kept his cool even knowing I was being a bit pushy to get my car back. The only thing I was slightly discouraged with was, my car was given to a tech. that worked second shift, so it would sit during the day and only get worked on in the evening. Which I had a free loaner so it wasn't a big deal, but I also paid for insurance on the loaner so each day cost me more money.Overall my experience with Marcotte has been awesome from day one when I purchased my 2013 Taurus and I anticipate our third vehicle vehicle to come from Marcotte as well. I recently purchased my focus and had excellent service although I am not totally happy with the car. When I called for service two weeks ago, I was spoken to very rudely by the woman in the service department. She was abrupt and didn't seem to care about what I had to say. I sometimes feel as though excuses are made for the issues at hand.Overall, the sales department is great, and the service techs are as well.

les associate was great and very patient with us. Always have enjoyed your service staff. Your parking situation is pretty awful and your waiting room needs to be larger and better appointed. The waiting area in the service area up the street is fine but kept too cold. Finance process, although staff was great, took much too long and is designed to sell stuff rather than just do what is required to complete the necessary finance process. Hated the interest rate which came close to killing the deal. 0% is a big incentive for sales as I'm sure you are aware.Love the breakfast, nice touch.

2003 Explorer in for oil change. Staff was fast and efficient. Only complaint I have is when I arrived home, after tires cooled down. I checked air pressure in tires, they were all close to 40psi. The paper work from the oil change states that the tires were all set to 35psi.The door jam sticker states that the front should be 30psi and the rear should be 35psi.

The reason we bought our car here is the loaner program, which says that if you buy a car from Marcotte, they will provide a free loaner anytime your car is being serviced. Today is the second time when the service department is telling me that the service I need to have done "doesn't qualify time-wise for the loaner". Nowhere does it say that there is a minimum requirement of hours in order to get the loaner, they are just making this up as they go. I talked to Greg, the service manager who told me that even though it doesn't say anywhere that there is a minimum service requirement, it also doesn't say that there is not and therefore the service which they estimate to take an hour will not qualify me for the free loaner. So now I have to be be late for work and even though the quoted time is an hour, it always takes longer (and this is work for a recall from Ford). If you are considering buying a Ford, go to Sarat Ford in Agawam, they are a great dealership and they actually keep their commitments. DON'T BUY FROM MARCOTTE, THEY LIE AND YOU WILL BE DISSAPOINTED!!

I purchased a used 2014 Ford Focus hatchback, it has a sunroof, nice wheels and leather interior. It is not as comfortable as my previous Ford Five Hundred, which I loved. The new Focus is a smaller car which I needed for our new & smaller 2-car garage. But I am not in love with the Focus the way I was with the Five Hundred. The experience with Marcotte Ford was excellent, that's exactly why I went back even after I shopped at 4 different dealerships. I went to Subaru, Ford of Northampton, Mazda in West Springfield, Toyota of Greenfield, no dealer was as outstanding as Marcotte, Steve Mailloux is an outstanding sales person, I have not had the same service with any other dealer as I have had with Steve, it is his style of sales that brought me back. He is fair, honest and just overall very knowledgeable of every car on that lot.

My typical experience with Marcotte Service is always the same. Friendly people, efficient at their positions, and very professional. I have never had a negative experience at the dealership, whether purchasing a vehicle, or a service appointment.

Took my 2003 f250 in for service as I was taking along vacation trip to New Hampshire hauling a 3200 LBS truck camper and a trailer with 4 ATVs Marcottes service department has been taking care of my truck since I purchased it back in 04 and I Knew that anything in question would be addressed to insure my trip would be not only safe but trouble free as well. With nearly 300,000 miles on the truck I had nothing to worry about when they serviced my vehicle and handed me back my keys thank you Marcotte for your outstanding service and attention to detail.

the only thing that could have made my service better is if it had been under warranty so I wouldn't have to pay for it :)I love the fact that I can get a rental if my car is having service that will take some time - being a one car household that really makes it easier and makes it more likely that I will continue to have service done at Marcotte. Every time I visit I am waited on right away. Michelle the receptionist is always welcoming with a smiling face and ready to assist with my problems. This time it was just a simple visit for a inspection sticker and was surprised with a wonderful breakfast. Made the time fly by and the cook was excellent when it came to making Omelletes. My service tech came right into the showroom and alerted me that my car was ready to go. Ladies at the cashier desk were very nice and quickly processed my payment without delay. As always a good experience. Thank you.

I had used Marcotte Ford for service in the past on previous vehicles and had a favorable impression of the dealership. Recently I had become discontent with my current vehicle and service from another dealership and decided to see if Marcotte would be willing to make deal on the car as a trade in and get me into a new Ford Focus ST. The salesperson Mark Lyon was helpful and patient and after a few conversations they had offered me more than "blue book" and we had a deal. The process was straight forward and painless...thanks.

Was very disappointed in booking process.. I thought that appointments were made for a reason. My husband and I had appointments for 0840 and 0920, Saturday the 18th of July. The first vehicle wasn't taken in until about 0930 and the 2nd was taken in about 1005. These appointments were just for simple check up prior to a road trip. The gentleman in the service department said it would only take about 20 minutes per vehicle. We were not completely done until 1100. I'm not sure if the service dept was double booked, but this uncalled for. I made the appointments for a reason. This caused me to be late for my son's baseball playoff game. My time is just as important as everyone working at Marcotte. I hope to not have this issue again. We do a lot of business with Marcotte, and normally get treated a bit better. On a more positive note, breakfast was wonderful!

The only issue I had was we had an appointment for 10am. I had to call at 4pm to find out what was going on with the car. It still had been looked at. I thought thays why they call them appointments it went in at 10am and 4 pm still not worked on. Why did it take so long to get into the shop? Also there were no loaner cars available also an inconvenience because had to miss work time. If the car was going to be in the shop all day I would of liked a loaner. Again with appointment the car should of been worked on much earlier than 4pm.

It has been one year, needed a sticker and my 10,000 mile "check up" on my 2014 Focus. I also have been having some ongoing "studdering"? some type of rough acceleration until I reach 20 miles an hour. Next week Brian made an appointment to leave off the car and they would give me a loaner to use, said it takes a couple of days. Service was great, staff very friendly and answered all my questions.

The oil change and 40,000 mile check up was completed in a very timely manner. The technician noticed a tear on the side wall of one tire and a small bubble on another tire. The service rep reminded me that I had purchased tire insurance when I purchased my car and that he would file for insurance to cover both tires. The only issue was that I needed to return the next day in order to get insurance clearance and the tires delivered, which was not a problem at all. On returning the next day, the service rep advised that the insurance is giving him problems with covering both tires, but he would continue to work with them to get both tires covered. By the time I left, he advised that after multiple conversations with the insurance, both tires were covered. Thanks for going the distance in helping to get the issue resolved.

Every time I come to Marcotte for my free oil changes (for the life of my purchased vehicle) everyone is very friendly, ready to help and keep me informed on a length of wait even when I don't have an appointment. Sales staff are always friendly and ready to answer my questions about any interests in another vehicle. The sales staff are very knowledgable. I think the sales staff have a laid back approach and always make me feel welcome.

Didn't have an appointment, but I called the Service Department on Saturday, June 20th around 8am, and I was told to "to come on in." When I arrived, I was able to pull my vehicle directly into the first garage bay. They even fed my breakfast. Apparently every Tuesday and Saturday morning they offer a hot breakfast to customers. That's what I call going above and beyond to take care of your customers.

I brought my 2014 focus in for its first service yesterday. I was so impressed with the service. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. I have to say that from the first time I walked into Marcotte Ford to look at cars, I was treated with respect. Nobody was ever pushy or tried to sell me something I did not want.Marcotte Ford is just what you advertise to be!!! Hopefully I won't need the service department too often, but if I do, I know they will be helpful.

Your staff was polite, helpful and seemed to take pride in their work. I brought a 79 Corvette in for inspection sticker and the inspector shaved off all the glue from the previous sticker and made sure the sticker was place neatly and square on the windshield. That's a first. Usually they don't really care how it is placed. I purchased a 2014 Edge last year from Marcotte and have brought in so far for maintenance and it is now due to inspection sticker as well. I know your team will do a great job. Kudos to the Marcotte Team.

The service staff needed to order the part to the fix my broken side view mirror. The mirror arrived quickly and I was able to make an appointment for the next day. I like being able to talk to the service department in the evening. Your evening hours make it so much easier. By the next evening the car was repaired. We have used Marcotte for almost 35 years because of its excellent service and helpful staff.

I went in for an oil change. tire rotation, check fluids... Everything was easy and wonderful, from booking the appt to driving away in my newly serviced car. Drove in, handed the keys over, walked through the office area of the service dept. where they confirmed what I was having done. I walked over to the showroom area where breakfast was offered. I had a great, freshly made omelet, toasted sweet muffin, OJ, and a hot decaf. Looked over a magazine and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast. When I was done, I walked out to the office area of the service dept. and was being handed my keys,and a very reasonable bill.I had a great morning! Everyone was polite, friendly, and efficient! My car is running beautifully. I couldn't have designed a better service visit if I tried. Thanks for everything.

I had a very pleasant experience getting my maintanence done at marcotte. I was especially happy they were opened early in the morning, so i would not have to take valuable time off from my work. The work was done on my car quickly, even though i saw several lifts being used already, making me worry about delays. Turns out, i was all finished within maybe 35 mins! I was suprised to also see a breakfast buffet available for the morning customers, which is always appreciated.The one thing that i was unhappy with was that according to my service receipt, non-OEM oil was used to replace my used oil, which does eventually lead to excessive engine wear or incorrect oil pressures. The focus ST takes a 5W-30, but marcotte used a 5W-20. Not a huge deal, but a nit to pick for enthusiasts, i.e. People who would buy an ST in the first place. Still, convenience, friendliness of staff, and speed were all great, so i'll likely be coming again!

As always, I show up at the dealer during the evening service hours. Just needed an oil change and a flush and fill. Technician was great. Found front brakes worn and will be back tonight for that. As a business owner, the extended service hours are important to me. My vehicles can work during my normal business hours and I can bring them in for service when they are not in use. The service department always gets me right in for whatever my issues might be.

Thank you for taking the time to service my Nissan Sentra and staff was professional and attentive to customers needs. The only thing I would have to comment his that I had made an appointment during the week for service on Saturday, once my husband got there the appointment was not set up once I spoke to representative over the phone and said that they don't make appts for oil changes but will make one anyways since the vehicle needed attention on another area. We will continue to service our car there, I do like the staff and service provided. Thanks again.

It was a 2011 fusion in for a oil change and I had the tires rotated the filters for clean air (Iguess thats what you bcall them) and new wind shield wipers put on . Also had the car inspected for Mass. Sticker I was in at 6:30 and out by 7:30 Excellent service Thank you Mr. Shaw

I dealt with Fran Gregory with my trade and purchase. Was very pleased with his efforts to locate the truck I wanted and his ease of communications in the process. Fran has a lot of expirece here and answered my questions . Felt like I've known him forever. Easy to find by phone if I needed and kept me informed on the process of getting the truck from Pennsylvania to holyoke in short order. Good man with easy going humor. Steve did the closing with Pat (I think) doing paperwork which both were excellent. Love the platinum truck.

I brought my 2014 Ford Flex for service at 20,000+ miles. I scheduled the service using your online program. Brought the car in at about 10:45 AM for an 11:00 AM appointment, and the car was ready in about 45 minutes. I was treated courteously at check-in and check-out. Highly pleased!

1st oil change, all went as expected. Cab east lease seemed to confuse service writer at first. there was a glitch when the tech tried to reset oil alert. made note to file and will bring to main service for fix in the near future.

I will say I hate looking for a new vehicle, but things went very well, I have been looking for a new truck for awhile now and the sales person we had was amazing. Not only did she help me, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and so easy to talk with and she was there to help me with things I did not understand when it came to the truck I bought. Overall very happy with the service and happy with my new truck.

I was having the following services performed: Oil & filter changed, Tires rotated, State inspection, Cabin air filter changed, Recall issue & an overall check-up via the "Works" package. As always, Marcotte service did a great job and finished all work while I waited. This was a very reasonable amount of time considering all the work that was done. Always painless to have work done on my Sable at Marcotte. I just dropped it off for a wheel alignment and inspection sticker. Brian took care of me and called when it was ready. Keith was also very knowledgable about my car. Ladies at the desk were awesome and were able to check out my Ford points to see if I had any money left on my account. Great customer service as I was paying my car was being pulled up and ready for me to hop in and go. Thanks for great service as always!

Service: I had the front & rear brakes done on the truck, plus other minor work. The service advisor said it was going to be a couple of hours. I was there at 0615 and did not leave until after 1100 AM. I figured a couple hours was maybe till 9:00 AM. I was not advised if I could get a car and return later. Also, I do not believe I was updated in a timely matter on the status on the vehicle when it was being worked on for 4 + hours.

The service department does a nice job, customer friendly, and they communicate very well on what the vehicle needs. Very professional. The service area is a tad uncomfortable and confusing. I stood there lnot having a clue who to talk to. A walk up window, or stand ups similar to Sarat would be a bit less intimidating. Other than that, all good.

We just purchased a used 2013 Ford Flex SEL and the dealer was great! We called ahead to make sure the car was still available and when we got there the car was warming up for our test drive ... we worked out a good deal and the salesman Mark and finance person Patty were both great! very friendly and we felt at ease the entire time. We would definitely make the drive from CT again.

I was able to schedule a normal maintenance check-up for my car within two working days. The wait was about 1 1/2 hours long due to cold weather conditions and a number of cars before me. I also had a great breakfast in the lug nutz cafe while I waited.

I was unsure of the type of vehicle I wanted, after test driving a Fusion hybrid, I knew that was the vehicle for me. My sales person, Bonnie worked with me to get me where I wanted to be price wise and in doing so we found the Fusion energi fit the bill. I could not be happier, and got a lot more car than I thought possible for the money. I was totaly impressed with the way Brian was willing to help with many of my questions and the way he and Bonnie took as much time as I needed them to so I would be comfortable with all the hightech info. I could not have had a better experience. I will recommend Marcotte Ford and Bonnie to any one looking to purchase a vehicle.Bonnie even had another person explain rebates that are available.

We purchased a used 2010 Ford Fusion. This was our first purchase from Marcotte Ford. I inquired about the car online and Denise McCarthy was very helpful in getting back to us the next day with the Carfax information. She followed up several times with us. I stopped on a Saturday to take it for a test drive and on Monday, we purchased the car. We picked it up two days later. Jeff Duffy, the sales associate was fantastic! He was courteous and helpful. I had scheduled a quick appointment for a recall notice - on my way in, I noticed I was due for oil service as well. Our salesman Jeff Duffy patiently walked us through the process of leasing our first car ('14 Ford Focus) and then helped us find the most affordable option with as many of our priority features included.Safety, comfort, and versatility were necessities. Very satisfied with customer service. First appointment they brought me back home considering i had just arrived to the area. They were always gentle and kept me post. They did not want to sell me other of what I want. They offered me their car rental services in the meantime the application was processed. They delivered my explorer in great shape and shinny bright even weather conditions by that time were awful and unpredictable. My Ford consultant was always available & considerate. They understood i wanted a sunny day to do delivery because of the icy roads, and when I picked up my newbe they spent more than an hour explaining the features plus they gave me some drivers advices, a full tank of gas and a Marcotte Ford shirt for my father :). The other great deal is that I am covered bumper to bumper and staff is open to questions at any hiven time. Nice touch was the greeting card i received by regular mail. I didnt expected and made my day. Thanks to all the staff i ve got to met.

I brought my 2012 Ford Edge in for an annual inspection sticker. I was assisted immediately and waited a short time while my vehicle was inspected. Once completed, they advised that it was done and passed inspection. I was in and out within forty five minutes. Thanks

Normally, I would bring my vehicle to Marcotte's Quick Lane facility for routine service. This time, I went to their regular service department since I needed an inspection sticker in addition to the service. I had a works package done and received my sticker. As always, the service was prompt, my vehicle was taken immediately and was ready within more than a reasonable amount of time. Hats off to Marcotte Ford and its service department! Great job! I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and would not think of going anywhere else.

the person changing my oil noticed that my inspection sticker was expiered and fortuantely he pointed out that he was well overdue.

We choose a 2015 Escape SE. Service was outstanding the staff extremely helpful. We had several recommendations that Marcotte was a good place to go and now we will be recommending it ourselves. The staff, specifically Bonnie and Steve, were knowledgeable, friendly,patient,helpful and enthusiastic about their jobs. It is clearly a great place to work which says a lot about a business. We hope to send anyone who asks to Marcotte and continue to do business there ourselves.

Last time we were there we were told we needed front and rear brakes. We made an appointment but postponed due to snow storm. They happily made a new appointment for us. When we brought it in, Brian took care of us. After checking it out he called to let us know what needed to be done and if they should continue with repairs. Repairs were done in a timely manner, and by late afternoon it was ready for pickup. So far, the brakes work! :)Everyone there is always pleasant and helpful. Next stop...new tires. Hope the sale lasts a little longer.

This has been a wonderful experience! The sales staff was very informative and helpful. A great purchase experience! When I did need to repair my car ( scheduled maintenance). I was given a loaner car for the day. Needless to say I will be buying my next car again, at Marcotte Ford!

Bonnie Nieroda and Glen Gagnon were excellent. I purchased a 2012 Ford Edge which was competitively priced and very clean. I traded a 2007 Edge and received an excellent trade-in without the usual haggling. One of the best pieces of the entire transaction was taking the 2012 for a test ride ALONE. Marcotte was the only dealer who offered this and I was able to pull into a nearby parking lot and examine the care without any pressure. First oil change is free, as is every 5th. Glen also set me up with a loan to be paid bi-weekly which will save thousands and shave 5 months off the note. Fantastic.

Stopped by to see what was on the lot in suv. Bonnie was very helpful and guided us to what we were looking for. She had us take a test drive in two different cars a 6 and an 4 cyl. we sat down and talked price which we could not get together on at the time i left fealing that the dealer was very high in their profit. I have since found that they are pretty good but still out of my budget. I have since been to several other dealers and feal that my Marcot experience was one of the better ones
