Dan (Service Manager) and Beau (Diesel Tech) are two of the best technicians I have ever worked with. After having vehicle issues for over 13 days, Dan worked with GM to make our cross country happen. The guys also helped facilitate fun outings for the family while we were stranded in Denver. Fun fishing, national parks, etc…these guys really care and it is because of them we will remain a loyal GM family for years to come. Beau is a phenomenal human! One of the smartest mechanics I have ever met. Outside the box problem solver and demonstrated significant acumen for diesel repairs. Thank you John Elway. Your team is fantastic.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!! Jesus & Eric were great! I never felt so comfortable buying a vehicle from a dealership,Jesus and Eric really made this process very easy I was a first time buyer and I was able to get the truck I wanted plus a great interest rate!! Not only that! The best part was they were $15k less than their competitor on the same truck!!! Come and see them! I dropped my 2015 F-150 to get repaired after i was hit by another driver a month ago. John Elway quoted the insurance company a completion date of 10/05/16. My truck was not ready until 10/13/16. The insurance company stopped paying for the rental truck since they were told a completion date of 10/05/16. I started calling at 8am on 10/13 to verify my truck was ready and I never got a call back until 2pm that day saying they were trying to get my truck into the paint booth. Now how are you going to paint my truck the day it is supposed to be given back to me and have it returned to me on time. Needless to say they told me there was a new completion day of 10/11. I went down to the service center that day and my truck was still in pieces. The service department owes for the additional days on the rental truck and they are avoiding the situation like the plague. This department takes on more than it can handle and the customer has to pay for it. I recommend taking your vehicle anywhere but here!!

I have a 2005 Corvette with 25,000 miles on it. My check engine light came on and I took it to this dealer for service. This service was performed in the fall of 2014. This dealership has serviced the car since I got it (3,500 miles). I was told I needed a new throttle body. I questioned this because of the mileage and was assured "it sometimes happens". I got the car back several days later and after driving the car for about a half hour the check engine light came back on. I took it back in missing a half day of work. Then I was told it might be a faulty wiring harness that goes to the throttle body. After several more days I again got the car back and this time the check engine light did not come back on and it appeared that it had been fixed. It was late fall and I was getting ready to store the car for winter. I was concerned about the warranty on the work since there had been problems with them fixing it right the first time. I talked to the service manager who assured me they would stand behind their work even if it was outside the normal warranty period because the car was going into storage. The next spring I noticed my gas mileage had dropped 25 to 30 percent after the new throttle body was installed. I called and tried to speak to the service manager. Apparently he was gone and a new service manager had not been hired. I was directed to the assistant service manager Chris Cleavenger. I called and left voice messages three times in a 7 day period but he never called me back. I became very frustrated and tried to contact the general manger but a secretary directed me to the new service manger Todd Terry. I left a voice mail for him and when he did not call me back in a week I again tried to contact the general manager but was then directed again to the assistant service manager Chris Cleavenger. Again I left a voice mail and this time Cleavenger did call me back. Unfortunately I had stepped away from my desk so I called him right back and went to his voice mail. I asked that he call me back. He did not call me back so after 3 days I called him again and again left a voice mail. As of this date I still have not heard from anyone at this dealership. I filed a complaint with GM but again received no follow up. Needless to say I am now having the car serviced at another dealership and will never use or recommend John Elway Chevrolet to any one needing service on their vehicle. Worst experience I have ever had with a dealership.

My experience was fantastic. Ellison and his team made sure there were no hidden details. I was given multiple options as far as my payments go. I never felt pressured or hassled by any means. I told them exactly what I could and could not do and they made it work. I have a small baby and explained to Ellison I could not sit in the dealership for hours on end and he was able to do everything over the phone including my trade in assessment. When I did go in I only had to do paperwork, turn in my keys to my trade, and test drive my new car. Everyone at the dealership was super friendly and made sure that I was completely satisfied with the whole process. I would definitely refer anyone I know that is looking for a no hassle car deal!

Contacted them about a used Camaro I was interested in. Spent hours working with Ellison via email and phone to submit details about trade etc. We live 90 minutes away so I wanted to see if we can make a deal remotely before driving 3 hours round trip. After wasting half a day, he says okay, come on down to test drive that convertible. I said I called about a black coupe. Oh, we sold that car last week. He cannot even keep track of what car I want to buy. Over the last month he has called me at least 6 times. He has called me to tell me he did not have a car to sell me. He called to tell me he had a car that did not match what I want. He cannot remember basic details and is constantly hassling me. Most unprofessional salesman I have ever dealt with and I never even made it into the building. Stay far far away!!!

I give the following 5 out of 5 ratings because of the great service my husband and I got from Melissa and Chris. Melissa took the time to find just the right car for us and let us know when it came into the dealership. She was kind, patient, and answered all our questions, and get us a really good price for our trade-in and on the Dodge Charger that we ended up purchasing. Chris, at the time when we were purchasing the car, worked in the sales department and was also kind, patient, and answered any questions we had regarding the paperwork he did to help us purchase the Dodge Charger. Chris continues his great customer service now in the service department and helped everything go smoothly when we brought our Dodge in to get serviced. Thanks to them both, we left happy and satisfied. Melissa and Chris did an awesome job in making our experience at trading and buying, the best that we have had so far. I Just bought my car from John Elway and was treated great when I hit the door. My sale person was Nikki and we had the best time. I felt like she was a close friend when I drove my car off the lot. My past experience buying a car was horrible and I thanked everyone I saw for being so professional. I just filled bankruptcy so the past few months had been stressful. I was put at ease by how stress free the car buying process was at John Elway. I was able to walk out the door with 0 money down and a affordable monthly payment. I'm going to make on time payments so I can rebuild my credit.

I was reticent about selling my truck to a dealer...I'd tried all the individual alternatives, Craigslist, posters up everywhere, etc....I tried another John Elway in town, my fears were confirmed...BUT Melissa, a Pre-owned Purchasing Agent, went out of her way to keep in touch with me while (as she knew) I tried my heart out in other ways...I finally came back to here because of her friendly persistance!!! She managed a very good purchase price! I was very happy with her friendliness and integrity!!! I highly recommend her!!!!

I went here because it was convenient to my plans that day. Got the car back two days later, told it's fine (and the funky noises were "known issues" but not safety concern so no fix. Ok, understood.), but it stalled many times the next couple hours. Service center wouldn't call back. Ninety mins later phone operator says GM wants to see me, come back. He offers lame excuse as to why car is worse after picking it up, hoping I'll buy it. They grossly incorrectly measured tire tread depth. Just because they keep it for days and "3 people drove it" means NOTHING. You know, if they'd respectfully called back or been honest about messing up I would've been understanding. Even left a message for owner but he apparently doesn't think it even warrants a callback. If they'd only manned up and simply communicated or answered simple questions without condescension and games then I would've just wrote no review. Bradfield was the only good one who was straight up and helpful. April, Bob, and Brian P. were very nice. Eventually I realized that they'll never re-create the noise..you have to do it for them. Now I get it but not until hours of research online and lots of frustration at their lack of communication. They should just have a bobble head doll that when you push a button it says "That's a known issue but there's no fix!" and "We drove it and it sounded fine!" and "It's not a safety issue". You know, the GM and customer experience manager ASKED for my input, so I gave it in an honest respectful way. All I wanted in return was the same treatment. Then I let my frustration with them allow me to ask "Did you treat my car like it's your own?". Of course that was ignored too.

Nate went over and beyond our expectations in this perfect transaction, that was conducted entirely over the phone. I live in the midwest and good condition, rust free, older used pickups are hard to find. I saw online, a low mileage one owner Chevy Silverado 4x4 at John Elway and inquired about it on a saturday. After talking to Blake and getting some general information about the truck, I spoke to the sales manager, Joshua Betancourt. He assured me this was a good truck and being a 98', if it wasn't such a good truck they wouldn't have it for sale, they would've wholesaled it out. I trusted that advice and agreed to buy it sight unseen. Joshua held it for me and I flew out to Denver a few days later. Joshua had a salesman, Justin Alvidrez, pick me up and bring me to the dealership. We talked football during the ride over and he was pleasant to work with. Once there I was in and out in about an hour which I appreciated since I had a six hundred mile drive back. While I was at the dealership Joshua called Justin to make sure I was picked up and to see if everything was fine. It was Joshua's day off and most people wouldn't take the time to follow up like that. I thought that was impressive. Anyway, the truck as advertised and it drives like a new truck. It was safety inspected, all the fluids had been serviced, and it had new BFG tires. I drove it back home with the A/C on, and no problems. This isn't my first car deal but it is the first time I've ever wanted to write a recommendation about my experience with a car dealership. I was treated good and the truck is really nice, and was priced fairly. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to buy from John Elway again. Thanks again guys!

I came in for service on my car. Very professional and friendly. I have had a lot of car problems in the last year and thought it was impossible to be able to get a loan because of credit situation after a layoff from my job. While waiting to hear from service. David brought me water and we were talking about my and situation. He asked what he could do to help and asked if he could try and see what he could do David, Joshua and Scotty made it possible, affordable and a pleasant experience. My wife and I needed to sell our 2012 Silverado to qualify for a mortgage on a 2nd home. After being discouraged by the Car Max offer, I called around in search of other offers. Melissa was so helpful and knowledgeable on the phone and even better in person. Needless to say, I received a better offer from Elway and Melissa helped us through one of the quickest/nicest dealership experiences I've ever had. However, her EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE continued to stand out weeks after the deal. I needed more documentation (on the sale) immediately, for the underwriters to approve my home loan. Melissa snapped into action and got me what I needed quickly. Then, she even called later to ensure I had everything I needed and that all was well. John Elway Chevrolet Service performed a pre delivery oil and filter change November 2014.I had my next oil and filter change Jan 29th 2015 at a Hyundai dealer they brought me the crushed half of the centre hole was blocked.The Hyundai dealer indicated on my Invoice that the oil flow was not at normal levels, I sent photographs and the Invoice to Chris Cleavenger Jan 29th.I phone Chris on the 30th Jan to see his thoughts, he asked if he could contact me Feb 2nd as he must speak with the GM Josh Letsis.I waited for a phone call none came so I phoned Chris ,he asked if he can phone me Feb 3rd no call happened. I phoned him Feb 6th I spoke with Chris and Josh. They asked if they could phone me Feb 7th which they did but needed to speak with someone else so can they phone me Feb 9th.I have a Hyundai warranty on the car, I asked that John Elway Chevrolet Service provide a letter stating that if I had an engine problem related to the crushed Oil filter that John Elway Service would pay for the repair ( I of course would guarantee that all my Services would be done on time at my cost at a Hyundai Dealer). John Elway Chevrolet told me that they would not do this.But they would buy my car back and they would keep the dealer fees and sales tax etc.I don't believe I should lose money, I never asked for money from John Elway Chevrolet just some assurance that the Incorrect work they had done does not affect the life my engine during the warranty period as Hyundai Dealer has recorded the incorrectly fitted and crushed filter in my records.If I could post photographs and my Invoice on the review I would.The situation has finally been addressed to my satisfaction Feb 12th indicating that should I have a problem with the engine during the Hyundai warranty period that Hyundai will not cover John Elway Chevrolet will provide engine coverage. I must have all my oil changes done at a Hyundai authorized facility.I must also indicate my satisfaction on this and other reviews.

Sold me a vehicle that 5 months later the motor died in a snow storm in the middle of nowhere. Come to find out the motor is completely shot. When I asked them to reconcile the situation I had to call in 8 times and leave 4 voicemails that were not returned and still nothing reasonable was done in the end when I finally did talk to some managers and they said they would 'call me back' which never happened. Would not recommend this place, even to my mortal enemy!

Of 6 dealers we contacted through E-mail for proposals on leasing a Chevy, Steve Bunker was the first to call us the next day. He answered our questions and set up an appointment at 2 PM the next day. Steve was working on a deal when we arrived, so he set us up with Dan Caldwell. Dan took us on our requested test drive into the mountains to assess the performance of a 4 cylinder Malibu LS and answered more questions. We returned at 4 and Dan spent a great deal of time determining exactly what items we wanted in our car. He searched for a car fulfilling that wish list as well as every discount we were entitled to. He found a great Malibu LT in a cranberry color (Butte Red) because we wanted a red-toned car. We loved it, signed the lease papers, but had to wait quite a while to complete the financing papers due to several deals processing ahead of us. Dan waited all that time with us (doing some of his own work) so we could complete the entire transaction that day. The additional reason he stayed was to drive home with us in our new car to pick up our trade-in car. As the title implies, we had not anticipated buying a car that day so did not bring the car to be traded in. We thought this was a kindness "way above and beyond the call of duty." Everyone gets that feeling when they have to go buy a new car. Ughhhhh, right!!! I will briefly tell my car buying story.I actually went online and was shopping for Jeeps. I filled out this online price contract thing and of course I start getting emails. I don't mind emailsso it worked out for me. Dan emailed me a couple times to let me know the Jeep I wanted wasn't available anymore (it was prelifted and had new rubber around it, and was in my price point). After exchagning a couple emails I actually saw one I really liked and asked if we could roll into the financing a lift and new wheels and tires. Within a few hours Dan got me approved with the lift kit and new tires and wheel. I was a little shocked. Plus you've alwats heard about the "we got you approved saying". Nonetheless I went down the next day and took it for a drive, obviously this was before the lift kit. I have driven Jeeps in the past and was about to trade in a Hemi Ram and loved the power, the Jeep unfortunately did not have the power I wanted. Now a side note.......I have been wanting a Corvette, but My buddy talked me out of it becasue of the NO back seat issue. So, after the Jeep's uninpressive test drive I began to rethink and relook at other cars. I'm turing 40 this year and really glad I decided NOT to buy the Jeep. So, I asked him about other sports cars on the lot other than a Camaro. I asked about GT500's and nothing came up. Then I saw a 2008 Dark Hunter Green Mustang Bullitt. Just for xxxxx and giggles I asked for the keys and we went for a spin. I loved it. The handling, the power, the look, and the less than 16,000 miles it had in it. I know it's not a GT500, but it is a remake of Steve McQueens 68 Fastback. It was late and before I pulled the trigger I wanted to just sleep on it. After a few beers I texted him and said I wanted it. I went in about 10 am the next day and he had everything ready. I did a quick look over the paint in the sun and took a another test drive. After all was said and done Dan never not once put any pressure on me buying that car. I did take a few minutes asking questions about the Model and everyone was extremely patient, even the general manager James. Sat down at his desk and signed about 2 pieces of paper and within 45 minutes I was outta there with the new car. Financing was very easy and not once pressuring me. Karina was very nice and accomodating, as I had even more questions for her. Not once did I feel they didn't have my best interest at hand. I will say being a master salesman for the Navy for over 15 years these guys did me right. Please go see them and ask for Dan.

We purchased a Chevrolet Traverse in December and was so impressed with the service we received from Dan and Nick, we went back and purchased a Chevrolet Silverado. We asked for Dan when we got there and it felt good to know that he remembered us. My husband pointed out the pickup we looked at and Dan immediately got the keys and started telling us about the pickup. He answered every question we had; most of the time he answered the question before we could ask. When we got to the financing, Nick also remembered us from December and he was professional as well. Was dealing with Dante all day. Just requested some extra pics. I offered a deposit on the vehicle to hold until I got there. He said it would be fine I would have no problems. I spoke to him via email and filled out an online application. 10 minutes later I got an email that the vehicle was sold. Dirty way to do business. Wasted my day and didn't even have the nerve to call me-- he wrote it in an email..

Dan and Jack possess top-notch customer service skills. I was welcomed and assisted immediately. Their approach to learning my financial status prior to showing me cars was ideal in time saving efforts. They made me feel very comfortable by being very "people friendly" and not allowing me to feel unworthy on a fixed income. My car was stolen and I went to several dealerships to purchase a previously owned vehicle. I didn't have any success and even had one fellow tell me they couldn't help me! I did not have an appointment when I went to John Elway Chevrolet, however Antonio was happy to help me find a car. I drove a couple of different cars. Antonio called me with additional options to try when I did not purchase the first day I was there. He was extremely professional, courteous and genuinely concerned about helping me find the car that was just right for me. I hate shopping of any kind, but Antonio made it a pleasure. I would (and already have) recommended him as well as the dealership for purchasing a car. I will be back!

Kevin was geat. He actually listened to what I wanted to look at and then showed me what I wanted to see. He asnwered all my questions and is still available to answer more. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and polite. When I first showed up, I went to the wrong area of the store (road construction blocked the entrance) but the people there helped me find where I needed to go. I don't remeber thier names as I only dealt with them briefly. I test drove the two cars I was interested in and then Kevin worked out the numbers on the one I wanted. He did excactly what he said he would do when he said he'd do it. It was refreshing after some other dealership's salepeoples tactics. I purchased my new Sonic Hatchback the next morning. There was a short wait to pay for it as somebody else was with the finance person ahead of me. That is the only critical remark I can think of. Not bad for your dealership that people have to wait to pay you. Somebody sold something that morning. I feel I got a very fair deal on my new car. I got just what I was looking for and was given the actual value for my trade. The whole procedure was explained to me step by step. I had never purchased a new car before. I know two people who are in the market for new cars and I will definitly give them Kevin's card. I don't know what type of cars they are looking for but I'll certainly tell them about my experience at John Elway Chevrolet. Thanks for the Sonic. Thank you Kevin.

I came into the dealership at 6:00 p.m. on a Monday night with a printout from the internet and the name of the salesperson that communicated with me via the internet. Within 15 minutes of entering the dealership I was on a testdrive in the vehicle I had identified. I had the best new vehicle buying experience in my 37 years of buying vehicles. I worked over the internet with my salesman Chris Yates. He was patient I spent a total of two months before I made my purchase and there was never any high pressure sales tactics, just let me know when your ready and I'll make it worth your time. My time was that I'm four hours south of Englewood,Co and it would be an all day trip. I spent most of the two months checking with closer dealers on the front range and down to Santa Fe, NM. I turned my attention back to Elway and it was the best choice. Chris sent me an invoice with the break down and their best price, then we talked my trade in. I sent him pictures so I could have an estimate on my trade. I also requested a paticular 1500 silverado that was located in Salida which was also no problem for them. We set up our appointment took a test ride and sat down to negotiate. [Not] he set down the the paper work with a fantastic quoted price; had my trade evaluated and brought me a qutoe $500.00 over what we discussed. It doesn't get any better or easier. Finance was no differant the explained what they're required to, no pressure and we signed the paper work and were done. This dealership is a leader in how vehicles should be sold, all their staff were friendly and professional, they even ASKED if they could put their dealership placard on the truck, and in this case I want people to know where this truck came from they earned the advertisment. It was worth every bit of my time to make the trip not to metion the truck is fantastic. Thank You Chris Yates and Elway Chevy your a five star dealership.

We just leased a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox from John Elway Chevrolet. Our salesperson was Roy Schumacher. He listened to what we wanted and showed us the vehicles that fit within those parameters. There was no pressure to buy or lease or do anything.We came back a week later with our decision and left with our vehicle. We trust Roy completely and would recommend him to anyone.
