The service department here is the BEST i have EVER been to. I've owned, jeeps, Honda, BMW, and now Mazda. And by far the best customer experience I've ever had is here. I highly recommend them. They even send you a video of the work done to your vehicle, text updates, and even update your Carfax. The customer service here is next level. Oh and the coffee in the waiting area is actually pretty good.

Please read this as I don’t want this experience to happen to anyone else! WARNING: Unethical practices from this business. I went to this dealership as my lease on a Mazda 2018 CX5 ended and I was looking to get a buyout offer on the value of the car. My buyout was for $17k and the value of the car was for $23k which left a $6k difference. I was told that they couldn’t give me an offer on the vehicle but that they would waive the disposition fee and small scratch that I had on the back end. Then Jerry (sales manager) said he could take care of everything and asked for the keys. Why would I hand them the keys if they weren’t offering to pay me for the right to buy out the car that was valued at $6k? I reiterated that I wasn’t going to just give them the car and needed to see the paperwork before I signed anything. He said “we actually don’t need your signature as we already processed the buyout transfer”. This business legitimately tried to transfer over the ownership of the buyout to themselves WITHOUT MY SIGNATURE! I was almost swindled out $6,000 and they tried to act like they were doing me a favor. Regardless, I will never do business with these people again and would advise anyone reading this to stay away!

My husband and I went to HB Mazda to see a used Mazda CX9 that we had seen online. J.T. helped us and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and was willing to help us with any questions that we had. When we saw this Mazda for the first time we let J.T. know that we loved it, but wanted a bit more time to make our decision. We let J.T. know that we would give him a call the following day and he was very polite and was not pushy at all! Which we liked. He was very understanding and didn't just "want to sell the Mazda" and be pushy like other employees at other dealerships. He genuinely wanted us to make our own decision and make sure that this Mazda was the right one for us. The second time we went back to the Mazda dealership after making an appointment with him, J.T. was just as nice and friendly. We decided to buy the Mazda CX-9 and we love our Mazda. J.T. helped us alot with getting the price of the car to be around our budget. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!

My wife and I needed a new car after our 2002 Mazda Tribute finally gave out. I checked on the website and found a used 2016 Mazda CX-5 with low miles for a very good price. We went over and found it still in the lot and met up with Joe Rosales, one of the certified Sales Pros. The vehicle was in great shape and we were able to get through the whole process within 2 1/2 hrs. Joe was very helpful, answered our questions, and didn't pressure us into buying. Jake in Finance explained everything about extended warranties and additional items without pushing things on us we didn't really need. All the staff were very friendly. This is our 7th Mazda from this dealership.

We love our new CX-5! Michael Bennet, Chet Ward, and Jeremy Hollingshead really took care of us even answering tons of questions over email over a week before the purchase. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive asking if we need anything and bringing us water while we waited for our car to be brought over from their Tustin store. We got a great price and there were no unnecessary charges, no funny business of any kind, just straight forward, good customer service. Chet helped us sync our phones to the car and went through all of the settings with us. He made sure all of our questions were answered before we drove off the lot. I highly recommend Huntington Beach Mazda!

We went there a few months ago to look at the cx5, we met Joe who welcomed us and didn't make us feel to buy right away..... no pressure feeling. We ask for a driving test which was no problem. We really liked it but didn't buy it on the spot. We came back about 1 month later and Joe automatically recognized us by name, we test drive again and decided to buy, the process was very easy and not too long. I was an owner of a 2006 Mazda 3, which I drove into the ground, and was looking to buy a new car. I'm also a member of Costco and was planning to take advantage of their auto program.I reached out to HB Mazda via their chat interface to find out if they were a participating Costco dealer. Costco originally matched me with a dealer in City of Industry, about an hour from where I live. The gentleman I "chatted with" gathered some information and said someone would be in touch soon to confirm if this dealership participated with Costco for the make and model I was looking at.About 30 minutes later I received an email from Robert Chong and it turns out HB Mazda IS a participating dealer and I was able to trigger that match by using a Huntington Beach zip-code instead of an LA County zip-code. I spoke with Robert over the phone for quite awhile. Earlier in the day I had a terrible experience at another dealership (non-Mazda) and was on the defensive. Robert was able to calm my concerns, did an inventory check, clearly stated the color I wanted was not in stock and provided the colors that were. He went over available promotions, clearly stated the Costco price and explained HB Mazda dealership does not do addendums so there would be no surprises (unlike the other dealer I was matched with). The price he quoted me would be the price we'd start at. After estimated tax, title and license, I was right at the upper limit of my budget and decided to tip my hand and told him I had a trade-in. Robert said the trade-in guy would be there when I came in and he'd tell him the sale was contingent on getting as much as he could for it.I made an appointment to meet with Robert the next morning. Robert was ready and waiting for me. The car he was telling me about was pulled to the front and ready for a test drive. After the test drive we sat down at a table out in the open (no shark tank offices for these sales guys) and took my Costco card and ID. About 20 minutes later he came back with the Costco price sheet, Inventory sheet and the offers they could make me. He also had the car inspector check out my car (efficiency, yay!). I knew what I needed my out the door price to be, and had a quote in hand from CarMax. I told Robert what I needed for my trade-in and we'd have a deal. The dealer wanted to offer me $700 less (meaning no deal) but when I said I didn't have a way to get back from CarMax Robert said he could pick me up. Score! I gathered my belongings when Robert came back, said his manager didn't want him to leave and the dealership would match CarMax. Double score! CarMax would have taken tax out of the sale!Woot! New car!The only downside to the whole experience was the pressure to buy "paint protection", an extended warranty (is the car that bad??) and a key replacement package when in the finance office. Only in that office was I asked "what do you want your payment to be". I know the finance guy was just doing his job and that's why I'm not taking any stars off for it.I loved my experience at HB Mazda and hope I continue to have a positive experience when I got back for my plates, my 2 oil changes and any needs that arise.

He ensured we had all of the information needed to select the car model best suited for our growing family and worked to get us a fantastic deal. We test drove, installed car seats, popped popcorn, chased our toddler around the lot, crunched numbersyou name it, we did it! Not to mention, he helped entertain our 2 year old throughout the entire process!The great customer service did not end at completion of the transaction. He paired our phone to blue tooth and made sure we understood how to easily operate the countless car features. I went to HB Mazda a few weeks ago after totaling my 10-year old Saab and Eric & the team were great! At one point earlier in my shopping process, I was thinking about going with a CPO car, but as soon as I stepped on the lot, I knew that I'd be in good hands buying a new car with HB Mazda.I already had a pretty good idea about what I wanted and did my own research, and Eric had a great knowledge of not only the car features, but also what they had in stock. As soon as I showed up (my dad had been at the dealership earlier in the day), they were waiting for me, showed me 3 cars that fit my criteria, and took me for a test drive. Paperwork was finished in about 35 minutes, and I picked up the car 2 days later (I bought the car on a Sunday and had to get some finance stuff taken care of Monday before I could pick it up). When I came back to get the car 2 days later, it was fresh from the detailing center and Eric had everything ready for me. I dropped off my down payment check and was in-and-out in about 25 minutes!I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eric and everyone else at HB Mazda. Even though I live about an hour away in Los Angeles, I'll be back down as soon as my new Mazda3 needs service & maintenance.

Just traded in my lease and, Robert, at HB Mazda was awesome. He had the vehicles pulled up that I was interested in so I could just walk right out and take a look at them. The best carbuying experience I have ever had (at age 69). I showed Joe my Costco card and I immediately got the Costco discount (over $2000). I told Joe my wife had leased a Mazda from him two years before and I received an additional $250 discount. Then there was the Manufacturer's Rebate of $2000). I love my new Mazda 6 and would recommend it to anyone else!

Ok to start off with they have a great hang out spot that our 12yr old son was in heaven with. The free wifi, chargers, vending machines and cool atmosphere kept him happy the entire time... He literally didn't want to leave! We came to this dealership previously and bought a mazda 3 and since we had such a good experience we returned when I needed to upgrade to an SUV. I'm a florist and needed more storage room. Big Joe went above and beyond to help us out making the whole process quick and easy. Now I've got a reliable car to run my business out of. I was looking to upgrade from a Mazda 3 to a Mazda 6. Robert introduced himself and right away started letting me know how easy it will be to get into my dream car and still remain within my budget. Skeptical, I picked out my car and Robert immediately went to bat for me working with the lenders and even bringing in the GM, Jerry, who ensured he would make sure I drove away with a payment that was within my budget. Needless to say, about an hour later I was driving off in the exact car I picked out, for payments that fit my budget and even was able to get my interest lowered by .5% from what was originally quoted.I have bought several cars in my life and this was the easiest and smoothest transaction I have ever had. There is only one place that I will be buying my next Mazda and only one person who is going to sale it to me, Robert. Thank you HB Mazda!

I went into the dealership torn between a Mazda 3 and a CX-5. Joe Rosales greeted me at the door and asked me what I was interested in. This review is long over due. I purchased a Mazda CX5 from Robert a year ago and it was the easiest car buying experience I ever had. He made car shopping actually fun when I first visited and showed me all the details of the CX5. I never felt any pressure from him at any time. He contacted me about a week after my visit and asked me how my car shopping was going. I felt like I was not talking to a salesman but a friend. I told him that after weighing all my options, the CX5 stood above the rest and I was ready to get the CX5 that week end. When I arrived, he greeted me and guided me through the process. He was very nice and helpful and I could tell that he is passionate about his job. He was not pushy at all, which was great being a woman in my 30's, by myself, looking for a car. I left there with no pressure put on me. When I did go back in a few days later, I brought a few of my friends. Eric was very honest, patient, and nice to us all. My soon-to-be-driving teenager and I went looking for a sedan. We started at Mazda, with Joe Rosales. It was the best "walk-up" experience we had. He immediately found us inventory to look at, and gave me all the facts I needed while we were test driving. We went to every other dealer down Beach Blvd, and didn't come close to that same friendly, informative experience. George is just that kind of person you really like to talk to. When you visit the dealership, you could expect everything goes exact the same as they told you on the phone or email. No hassle. You could feel he is just trying to help you, not selling something to you. Many thanks to George as he even came to the dealership to help me close the deal on his off day. Unlike many other salesmen, George does't talk fast and skip many detail to hide anything, he explained every options you have without giving you any pressure to buy anything you really don't need. If anyone wants a smooth experience and descent man to do business with. Be sure to ask for George. I literally contacted with every dealership in SoCa, doing my research for more than a month. I could feel the differences when someone is trying to play trick, making money or helping you through the process. Again, best part of Hungtington Beach Mazda is they stick to what they told you. Price is very competitive, no surprise appear through the whole experience. I really don't like people saying things like "this is the quote for today, no guarantee for tomorrow's pricing" or "It has additional dealer installed option, sorry we didn't mention it before" . In Huntington Beach Mazda, none of these exists in my experience. I highly recommend this dealership. Even if you do not eventually purchase a car here, you will have great experience just like working with an old friend, feeling no pressure to make any hasty decision.

I had the pleasure of leasing my first Mazda today. Robert Chong helped me into a CX-5 grand touring. I was recently in an accident that totaled my first car. Since I was coming from driving a small Ford mustang, Robert listened to my concerns with getting into a bigger car. I told him simply that I couldn't make a decision today because I wanted to test drive a few other cars. He understood and wasn't pushy. He gave me his cell number to contact him the next day after driving a couple of the other competitors. After test driving honda, and jeep, I decided this was the car for me. He made the process quick and painless. After the deal was done, he even took the time to go over every little button in the car and show me how it works. He even set up my phone on the bluetooth so it was ready to go. The customer service was nothing like I have experienced before at a dealer and I'm completely satisfied. I went to a couple dealers including car max before knowing I wanted a Mazda. We pulled into the parking lot and started looking at the Mazda 3 I sport. Joe Rosales walked out and introduced himself. My first stop for the day was Huntington Beach Mazda, Eric Magana approached us and asked us if we had any questions about anything. I told Eric we were simply browsing and he told me where all the new cars could be found and where all the used cars were as well. Then he let us do our thing, after maybe 30-40 mins of browsing we walked into the building and Eric was there patiently waiting and asked us again if we had questions. I told him we were still looking and we ended looking at a total of 6 different car dealership. Almost all the other places hounded us and asked us specifically what we were looking for and seemed to get very annoyed when I ask them where the new cars were. Initial contact was via the Costco Auto Buying program, and Ron Moussavi was prompt in contacting me. My wife was not immediately available to accompany me to the dealer, so I caught Ron's days off when I did go to the dealer for an appraisal of my trade-in. Joe Balisalisa then was very thorough in guiding me through the purchase, financing, and applied discounts on top of the Costco negotiated deal. Then he advised that we also get a City of Huntington Beach parking pass, so we can go to the beach and pier and park for free for a year! Yay! I now look forward to interacting with the service department when I get a Costco-subsidized accessory. I already am impressed with the sales and parts departments. (Our previous car was a Mazda Protege.) I highly recommend this dealership.

The car-buying process can be stressful in and of itself. Attempting to identify your must-haves, budget, financing and vehicle research is time consuming. Countless hours are easily spent online doing research, trying to find the perfect vehicle that fits all you want and more. Trying to do this in 3 days seemed impossible. Not to mention, I had never bought a new car in my life.Michael went above and beyond helping me find the car I wanted. Over the course of about 8 hours, we emailed back and forth constantly to narrow down my search and close in on an acceptable price. Our conversation started with me thinking I think I want a Mazda and turned into I am getting a 2015 Mazda3 Sport. For the first time in the process, I felt like my ideas and thoughts were being heard. Other dealers had tried to convince me to get a Back Up Camera, a different trim level and in one case, not to finance at all. Michael managed to make me feel comfortable, provide me with helpful information, and we hadnt even met in person.The friendly rapport Michael established via email carried over into the real world. The process of making my purchase took about 3-4 hours, primarily because Im indecisive and some xxxxxxx salesman (at another dealership I wont mention) kept my drivers license. Most importantly, Michael took this all in stride and was able to keep me and my family calm throughout the process. As a young female, I naturally started the car buying process with a huge guard up. Michael helped me get through this and made getting a new car exciting and enjoyable, just like it should be.

I went to HB Mazda to lease a new car and return my current leased car. In about one hours time, I left in a "cool as heck", Mazda 3 sport 5 door at the same payment! A total upgrade, 4 years later, at the same payment? Joe Rosales and his team made it happen for me. Thank you! I arrived at HB Mazda at 5pm the day after Labor Day, so I am sure they had a hectic weekend. I was immediately welcomed by nice receptionist and Joe lead me outside directly to the Mazda I would lease, he knew it was the right ride for me! I wanted the car at first site and declined a test drive. Joe insisted I test drive it, and I'm glad he did. It is such an upgrade in technology and features, I would have been lost without his thorough, demonstration of the vehicle. I wanted more miles on my lease and a smaller down payment, as I am on a tight budget. Joe recalculated my lease giving me more than several options and with his guidance, we chose what works best for me. Joe made all the paperwork effortless, as did the finance manager who also offered so many great options on Service plans, Warranty options, even Key replacement. The lease return was also easy and they did not "look down" on my trade in, and that manager was very candid about my options. Joe took me through the service department and there was a lot of activity, even after 5pm, so I'm sure getting serviced will not be a problem at HB Mazda. So overall BEST car buying experience ever, thanks to Joe Rosales and Team HB Mazda!

We walked in "just to look". Joe asked what we were looking for so he could help us "just look". He seemed very knowledgeable. Even though we had no intentions of buying a car that day, he still took the time to talk to us and find out what it was we were or were not looking for. in the end a couple of days later we ended up buyin a car and Joe made the process very easy and it didn't seem like we spend hour at a dealersip making the deal. We went to Mazda to go check out some cars. I managed to talk my mom into Honda because i don't like Honda. We started looking around and Joe came out and greeted us. Joe respected our wishes of "just looking" and showed us the CX-5 on the showroom floor inside. I was personally very impressed with the vehicle and the service. A few days later we came back and actually decided to buy the car. He really wanted us to buy one of the cars on the floor but i pushed my mother to get the one she wanted. A Soul Red CX-5 Touring. Joe respected our choice and was able to have the car ready the next day. When we came the next day i was very happy with what i saw. A beautiful red car waiting for us. Overall, I was very happy with the respect and laughs Joe gave me and my mother, and when I'm ready to buy a new car i think I'll head over to Mazda to purchase a new car.

Being a first time buyer, I was very uneasy about dealing with the typical car buying experience. I was expecting over bearing salesmen and haggling at every corner. I did experience this at other dealerships in the area, but not at HB Mazda! From the second that I pulled onto the lot, I was greeted by very friendly and welcoming employees. Joe Rosales has the patience of a saint. My first visit to test drive a Mazda 5 and 3 was not my last. I think I came in 3 times over 8 months to test drive, compare prices and compare the two vehicles. I knew I wanted a Mazda because we had purchased one for my daughter a few years earlier and had a great experience with HB Mazda but I was not sure which car would work best for me. My parents and I went to HB Mazda, and Joe was our salesman. Frankly, I have nothing but kind words for him. Joe was extremely patient, did NOT try to pressure us at all, and was very informative in answering our numerous, numerous questions. We ended up leasing the 2016 Mazda6 Touring edition, and it is absolutely a dream. I could not be happier. Thanks, Joe!My only note that I would like other people to see is that the NATIONAL sales ad mentions 36,000 miles (12k/year). However, when we tried to sign the lease, it was changed to 10,000. Apparently it is something to do with the national ad being only for a Sport, not the Touring. However, this was not communicated in any way to us until we were all excited and sitting down to sign the lease (10pm at this point). Advanced warning would have been greatly appreciated. We went back the next day and were able to "upgrade" to a 12,000 mile lease for a few dollars more per month, which is great, but a little more clarity from the get-go would have been nice. I am going to be optimistic and chalk it up to miscommunication, with the hopes that other customers are informed in much more frank and clear circumstances. Overall, everything worked out in the end, so I am happy!

We just recently finalized our (my wife's and I) order of a 2016 CX-5 GT.Joe was the sales person assigned by truecar when I requested a quote and we are glad it was him. When we arrived at the dealership, he was straightforward and easy to talk to. No pressure at all and answered all the questions we had during the test drive. After we went back and put in the pre-order, he kept me updated on the status of the 2016 CX-5 that I pre-ordered through the 2-3 month wait for the car. I also had a truecar statement from my company that I printed at the time I sent in the pre-order and after a month, the prices started to change and not surprisingly, for the worse. It was extremely nice for us that Joe did not waver from the original price that the truecar statement gave when we placed the preorder. From then on, it was obvious that we'd finalize the deal when the car was delivered. As an employee that is an engineer in the customer service group for a major aerospace company here in Orange County, we all in some way need to talk to customers and since we do, we have all taken company courses in customer service which emphasizes "delighting the customer". Because of the reasons stated above, I think Joe did just that and I would recommend him to anybody.

I recently needed to have my dash board replaced due to a defect. I experienced a little trouble taking care of it at first, but after contacting my sales rep Joe Balisalisa, he helped to steer me through the right path. I interacted with a few people on the Mazda team including Joe, Jerry, Daniel, and Christian, and they were helpful and kept me well informed of status. The most amazing part of the experience for me was when I picked up my car, after normal service hours, and Joe took the time to show me the work on my dash. It was while doing so I discovered that my technician, Edward DeSilva, found a very sentimental missing ring of mine and tucked it in an obvious place for me to find. A lot of times we don't get to interact with the people behind the scenes, who perform the actual service, and they get left behind in the acknowledgment. It's been about 2.5 months since I bought my Mazda3 from Huntington Beach Mazda, but this review is not about my car buying experience as I have already written a review on that stellar experience (see 2/13/15 under Barry Raymond). This review is more about the attention I've received after the car buying experience. When I bought my Mazda3, Barry told me that he is there for me for the life of my car. Now, I was told similar things from another dealership for a different car that I had purchased. I usually only receive generic e-mails from them reminding me that it's time to bring my car in for service or telling me about a sale they are having. It's different with Barry; it's more personal with him. 45 days after I bought my car, I received an email from Barry just checking in to see how I was doing and to see if I was still enjoying my car. I told him everything was great and that I love my car. He replied back and told me he was glad I'm loving my car and reminded me of the wise decision I made choosing Mazda over the MINI that I had almost purchased. I just thought it was so cool that he remembered my story (and he offered me to come in and get a free car wash). Besides the follow up, I have also gone to Barry seeking advise (like what kind of tint I should put on the windows) and getting other questions answered about the car. Every time I've asked him something, he's been very prompt in responding. I really appreciate everything Barry has done for me after buying my Mazda3.

When purchasing a vehicle, I know what I want, know the fair price, and do not want to play any of the typical "car buying" games. I have been using HB Mazda to service my daughter's car for a few years, so it was a natural choice for me to go there when looking to buy a new car. Barry showed me the vehicle I was interested in, and then there was absolutely no pressure. I told him I would be out of town for a while and I would contact him when I was ready to buy. After making the most critical decision (the color of course!) Barry when on the search for basically a unicorn, and voila, two days later I was driving away with my new fully loaded CX-5. Highly recommend Barry and the dealership!

When I read the phrase "Customer Advocate" under their names on their business card, I wondered if they realized they were working in a car dealership. Who advocates for customers when they should be selling cars? But it is true! In Huntington Beach Mazda...it is true! This is the second time I bought a Mazda...after all the vehicle is truly a safety pick...I can speak from experience there. Joe was excellent in helping me and my father get our car. I was on a warpath to get a manual-transmission Mazda3 and he searched the state for one for me. There were three available in other dealerships to be transferred, but mishaps happened and it seemed that I might not get a manual. He then finally found a manual model in white that had been used as a display car at corporate. He got the car back to Huntington Beach and gave us an awesome deal on it. It seems that he found the last manual for sale in the state, and I appreciate it a lot. He was very friendly and patient in helping us out.

Barry knows Mazda products well. The cars are amazing. I have owned many high end cars and my Mazda3 is just magnificent! Since I don't like to sit at dealerships all day, I did a lot of pre work and got the price before I went in....(I had already went in for the test drive a few months back). Checked true car and got even lower. I brought my dog in both times and he was treated very well by all. They bend over backwards to help, assist, explain and support. This is a great dealership with good training and professionalism and best prices to boot! Recommend highly! I contacted South Bay and Browning....was unimpressed!

This was my first time buying a new car and Barry made it a great experience. I test drove with him first when I was deciding what kind of car I wanted, and once more a month later when I was deciding between the sedan and hatchback model. Buying a car is probably one of the most stressful things to do in life. I research everything and came into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted. Michael Nash helped me out. I test drove a 2015 Mazda 3 GT sedan and was blown away at how amazing this car really is! I've had a BMW, a couple VW's, and more... I have to say, this little Mazda is by far my most favorite car. Post test drive my exact words to Michael were "how quickly can you sell it to me?." Michael was great -- I told him I would walk out if he came back with a certain payment and to my surprise he came back with something lower. Granted, there was a tiny bit of negotiation but we eventually arrived at number I felt very good about. Total time spent in the dealership: hour and a half? Seems like any other time I've bought a car, I would be there for 3-4 hours at least. Very happy, thank you all!

After the test drive, victor gave the out the door price in writing(included taxes, fees, registration) without me asking for it. We Negotiate based on out the door price. They disclosed full information before I committed to buy. No supprise at the end. Super fast services. I paid for the price that I wanted. They didn't have the color I wanted, so Victor went to a near by dealer and get me the color.

Came in behind a referral to H.B. Mazda but was put in front of the line because I was an actual H.B. customer wanting to buy that day. Was able to trade in my out of state lisc. car and put down some cash. Got a great rate on my loan due to my credit and was able to spend less than 2.5 hours to get the car. The pick up truck was in great shape (they did a lot of buffing and carpet cleaning to the interior), the exterior was typical for a 2003 Nissan truck, engine was cleaned and oil was changed. Thank you Joe.

I recently had the misfortune of picking up a nail in the sidewall of my tire. This was un-repairable, so I went into HB Mazda and Leonard Zini had me on the road within an hour! Barry Raymond, who I purchased the car from, made sure I was completely satisfied and made me feel right at home in their very comfortable lounge with hot coffee, soda, and fresh popcorn. Having put off the dreaded process of buying a new car for over a year, I was surprised at how pleasant my experience was at HB Mazda. I received a reasonable quote for a Mazda 3 from the dealership on TrueCar.com and was promptly met by Barry Raymond when I arrived. We went for a nice long test drive so I really got a good feel for the car. After seeing the cars in the lot, I decided that I wanted a different color than the one I had requested. Barry called the Tustin dealership and luckily they had a car on the lot. We headed across town and picked up my new wheels - Barry even helped me drop off my old car nearby as we agreed that I could get a better price from a private seller than I could on a trade in. Once the papers were signed, Barry spent a lot of time with me making sure I understood all of the features available in my new car. The entire process was hassle free.

I was already drawn to Mazda since they started their Skyactiv technology. My wife, on the other hand, needed convincing. Mr. Nash was super helpful in buying the car, which we ended up having to get directly from Japan. He kept us informed on the progress of its arrival, and had it ready to drive off of the lot when we got there. I purchased my Mazda 6 from Barry Raymond and I have to say he is the most personable and friendly car salesman I ever met. I have purchased 20 cars in my lifetime and every time was a hassle with pricing. I made an offer and he took it to his desk manager and came out with the price I wanted and the payment below what i had estimated. While we were waiting to get into finance he went over all the owners manuals and explained what the features I did and did not have.I was then taken to finance to meet Jake who is really a character. He was very friendly and should be a comedian on the side. He went over the various warranties and I am not a big warranty guy but when he explained everything I ended up buying it as he broke it down to see where I could see the value.I would have to say that is the best dealership I have ever dealt with and would highly recommend this dealership.

I just purchased a pre-owned car at HB Mazda. When I emailed about the car, I immediately got a response with more details and an invitation to come on by. When I got there, I did not get inundated with big-headed sales people. I walked in and was kindly greeted by the rep I had been emailing, Barry. He took me straight to the car I asked about. Awesome test drive! The price was completely fair so we discussed it and quickly had a deal with no nonsense negotiation or threatening to have to walk out of the dealership, as I have always had to do in every prior dealership experience because of an unreasonable price that will not budge. He was completely understanding and honest. At no point did I feel like I was being taken advantage of or tricked. I got through paperwork in about half the time I expected and drove off in a car that had me beaming all the way home. I absolutely could not have imagined a better car-buying experience. It had been 16 years since I last bought a car and this was the first time I had ever bought a brand new car. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Huntington Beach Mazda. After a really negative experience with a Mazda dealer in LA near our home, we decided to expand our search to OC dealerships. We submitted a query through USAA/TrueCar and Joe Balisalisa called immediately after receiving our request. He sent a quote and followed up the next day to make sure we had received it - I didn't realize that it had filtered to my spam mail and he kindly resent it without complaint. After reviewing the information he sent, we decided to move forward with our purchase. I was able to come into the dealership two days later, but Joe was off that day so he asked Barry Raymond to take care of us. When we arrived at HBM, a polite receptionist greeted us and flagged down Barry. He went with us on a test drive in my selected car. I had already driven the same model at a couple of other dealerships, but Barry showed us how some of the bells & whistles worked since nobody else had taken the time to do that for us yet. I really appreciated his patience - it was obvious that he wanted us to really know what we were getting with this car.Since I came with my own financing already in place, I wasn't expecting the paperwork to go smoothly - other dealerships had jerked me around on this issue, which is why we hadn't finalized a purchase after a month of meeting with other dealers. I was pleasantly surprised that this was relatively painless - the way it should be! Barry introduced us to Jake in Finance, who walked us through the extended warranty options and processed our prearranged financing paperwork with our bank. He explained everything was signed and how to get in touch with the warranty providers. Jake really wanted to make sure we understood what we agreed to and confirmed that our financing was in place per the terms with my bank. The entire team was personable, polite, and helpful. It's obvious that this team really cares about building a long term relationship with their clients. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! Fortunately we have friends and family who live near Huntington Beach Mazda, so we plan on bringing our new car back for service. I'm hopeful that our next car will also come from HB Mazda because I know we'll have another awesome experience!

A few years back I purchased a new Mazda 3 from Patterson's Mazda in Tustin. I had a great experience there and continued to have a great experience thereafter during service visits. Flash forward to this past weekend when I was contacted by a different, unrelated, dealership with a great price on a new Mazda 6. Having had a horrible experience with this dealer in the past, naturally, I contacted Huntington Beach Mazda as it is in the Patterson family of dealerships. I was contacted promptly by the Internet Fleet Manager, Barry Raymond who not only matched the price, but he beat it. I found Barry to be the most genuinely honest car salesman I had ever met. The best thing I've experienced at Patterson's dealers is that they don't pressure you to buy a car and that was true with Barry. The process was smooth and Barry worked to get everything I asked for in the deal and never gave me a hard time. I couldn't recommend Huntington Beach Mazda more.

I do my oil changes on my 07 Mazda3 at HB Mazda and was curious about doing a trade in. I was greeted instantly by Malru -the awesome guy that was going to do the appraisal on my trade in- he then introduced me to Barry Raymond. Barry was very professional and asked my needs/wants in a car and didn't try to up sell me a higher trim. I decided on a Mazda6 iTouring. As we test drove he pointed out all the features of the car while also allowing me to test the performance of the car (brakes/use of backup camera/u-turn ability on a small residential street). In my experience that is unheard of as other salespeople just test drive around the block for no more than 10 minutes and just want you to sign a contract. Robert patiently helped me work through the financing details and such. The meteor gray color Mazda 6 was not on their lot but HB Mazda made it possible to have it brought over which didn't take long. When my car was ready Barry took the time to go over all the features of the car again and personalize my settings! He even helped me setup my Bluetooth and music via my cell phone! I felt very confident when I drove off the lot and would do it again! I would say from start to finish I was only there for about 2.5-3 hours. Both Barry and Robert were courteous and offered refreshments during the whole process. Barry even helped me through a very minor issue which he resolved quickly and followed up with me the next day. I am very happy with my new 2015 Mazda 6!!!! Thanks HB Mazda!

We felt very comfortable with this dealership from the initial phone call that we made. We shopped several other dealers by phone, on line and in person. I am very happy with the service.My daughters were looking to buy their own cars, and wanted to check out the CX-5. Fred helped them and took them to test drive the car. He was very helpful and not pushy, trying to listen to them and respect that they were young and not knowledgeable. I came and test drove the Mazda 3, having only 6 miles on it, where Fred Crystal helped me out. I waited about three weeks later to make my purchase. After being directed to the Internet department, Barry reached out to me. As in sales myself, I liked his approach - Not too pushy, an expert on all the gadgets that the car can offer and a genuine personality. I contacted about 6 dealerships within my area to negotiate a lower price and ended back at HB Mazda because Barry said he will meet any price, as he did. The only downfall to my experience is the car had been on the lot that month, so I brought it home with 50 miles on it (but of course, you can't have it all). I am very happy with my purchase, no buyers remorse and the Mazda3 is the perfect choice for me!

The experience here was as easy as it could be. The customer service was excellent. Joe Rosales was also wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful in the decision making process. Definitely has more of a family vibe then the over bearing car salesman environment of larger or much smaller dealers. After purchasing the car I had to return because there was a cosmetic issue. The service was amazing and very accommodating. Also returned for my oil change, tire rotation service. Making an appointment was a breeze, the process was painless and again the service dept was great.

May we take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to Barry Raymond plus especially Mr Patterson for pulling out all stops to place us in the 2015 Mazda3 s 2.5 GT 4-door.We leased it for three years and were terribly grateful that I did not have to purchase the Rockledge alarm for $698.00 plus the Xylon PPProgram... as we had when I bought our 2012 Mazda3 s 2.5 GT at Mazda of Orange in 2013.Note bene: However, on the other hand... every floored vehicle close to $30k ought to have the PPP... i.e., as it enhances the salability immensely. Fletcher Jones doesn't release any car unless it's included. FYI: The PPP w/o a warranty ought to be thrown in on every purchase... IMHO.OBTW... Barry bent over backwards to assist us with our transaction... e.g., explaining all the nuances... as he has two new Mazda3s of his own.... He was an exceptional asset in enabling us to make a decision... as he was the closer....FYI: Had own dlrship as a IADA member for over 20 years... i.e., Zweifel South Coast Exotic Cars in Orange from '73 to '94.

I searched online for a vehicle. The internet department was very responsive to emails. The dealership itself was very clean, organized, and inviting. The original car that I was interested in, turned out not to be exactly what I wanted so Barry considered the features I wanted and my price range, found it, and drove me to a local Mazda dealer 20 mins away to bring it back. I also brought my young son with me. He was entertained by the movie in the play area and popcorn for the duration of the process. And when it came to the numbers, I was surprised that they didn't pull any methods of persuasion namely, the door-in-the-face technique. They were very reasonable and fair from the start. I wasn't the only one getting a good deal. The dealership was very busy and there was a wait to get to the finance. But it was well worth it. I even went on facebook and recommended the dealership and salesman Barry to my family and friends

He got me qualified, with some help from his finance manager, at a much lower rate than anyone else could. When I saw the car and test drove it, I fell in love. I shopped around several dealers in my local area and found myself coming back to the Huntington Beach Mazda dealership. I really liked my sales guy, Joe Rosales. He was very knowledgeable and made the experience very relaxed and easy. I never felt pressured or rushed to purchase. Everyone I encountered at the lot was very pleasant and helpful. If you haven't stopped by here before I suggest doing so. Take a test drive of the 2015 Mazda CX-5. It's a great car. I also test drove a Subaru Forester at the Subaru dealer to compare. I preferred the Mazda for a few reason but the look of the interior/exterior was more so what I was wanting in a new vehicle.

Here's all you need to know in order to have a wonderful car-buying experience: Mike Nash and Huntington Beach Mazda. I needed a car, had a tight budget to work with, not much time to make it happen, and I didn't want to play games. After a couple of phone calls, Mike and I met on April 15th; he genuinely cared, and had clearly paid attention during our phone conversations. Mike didn't waste my time, and with his patient and professional assistance, I decided on a good used car. As we walked through the ample assortment of used cars, I spotted a beautiful Sterling Grey 2010 Ford Fusion. Mike went through all of the car's features; it was just what I was looking for. We took a no-pressure test drive; I loved the car! Mike helped me navigate through my challenging financial situation, came back with a price and financing that worked for my budget, and we both finished our nights with smiles. Six months later, I still love my Fusion; it is tremendously comfortable for my commute on the 22, especially considering my bad back...and even at 75 mph, I consistently get 25 miles to the gallon. I'm going to have this car for a long time, but when I'm in the market again, Mike Nash is the only person that I'll be talking to.

Barry Raymond eschews every stereotype of the car buying experience. He was excellent to work with when it came to purchasing a car.. He's a consummate professional, and in a league of his own. He's honest, fair, and deeply caring of you, as the buyer. This was also the first time that someone sat with me for the next 30 minutes to show me the cool things the car does. Sure, he could have left me with the manual and called it a day, but he stayed 30 minutes past closing time to show me the features and to set up on the electronics. My first Mazda experience was an amazing one. I went somewhat knowing what I wanted but after being greeted with Mike Nash's welcoming smile and friendly attitude, he helped me narrow down EXACTLY what I wanted. We test drove a few different models before finding the perfect Mazda 3 for me and the whole dealership was awesome and helpful. Unfortunately due to some scheduling conflicts and stock, I had to put my need on hold for a week or so before getting the keys but once it was in, it was all worth the wait. Mike even went out of his way to make his schedule available and open to mine to make sure everything went smoothly and there were no hiccups. I had shopped around at other dealerships and had negative experiences with the salespeople. I ran into: salespeople who added extra charges onto the invoice for items I did not ask for; or offered me one interest rate and switched that rate to a higher one during the contract negotiations and outright lied to me about having a specific model and make in stock, in order to get me to drive out to their dealership. After two back-to-back negative experiences (at Garden Grove Hyundai and Honda World in Westminster) I drove down Beach Boulevard dejected at the miserable purchasing experience I'd had so far and came upon Huntington Beach Mazda and stopped in. I was helped out by Barry Reynolds. Barry was real, honest and patient. He showed me different models in my price range and discussed which model would be best for my driving needs and budget. When I selected a new 2015 Mazda3 he diligently searched around the state to find me a car with the list of options I wanted and in the color I requested. Barry had to do some trading and negotiating with other Mazda dealerships to get my ideal model shipped to his dealership for me. During the negotiations Barry was honest and open and clearly explained the terms and the pricing. He was even able to get me an upgraded iTouring package which would fit my budget. Barry stayed in contact with me during the process and following my purchase. I love my new Mazda3, it looks great, is fun to drive, gets great mileage and really turns heads on the road. I recommend Barry Reynolds at Huntington Beach Mazda to anyone who is looking for an honest deal and friendly service.

I got the Mazda 3 hatchback Touring in white M/T, which was a hassle to find. It took 5 days for the car to be shipped to that dealership, that was kind of annoying... Joe is very approachable and makes buying a car as pleasant as it could possibly be.

We weren't even thinking about Mazda for our next car but a friend mentioned that she had just purchased a Mazda for her daughter at HB Mazda and we thought we would check it out. We are really glad we did! We met Ed and he was very patient and kind. We went on a test drive and he let my husband, daughter and I each drive. He never made us feel rushed or like he needed to be with another customer. He is extremely knowledgeable and takes time to answer every question. Over the next month and a half we came back a few times to test drive the car and look at colors and ask more questions. Each time Ed was very patient and never pressured us. We met Ed when we first entered the Mazda lot. He was so friendly and helpful. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the car we were looking at. After our test drive we told Ed we werent ready to buy yet because we wanted to test drive some other comparable cars. He didnt pressure us at all to stay. He asked if it would be okay to call us in a few days to see if we had made any decisions. We said sure and he did follow up as he said he would. We still hadnt done a test drive of the other cars but we felt no pressure from him to hurry up and decide. Once we did go back, Ed made sure we got exactly what we wanted even though we changed our mind on the color in the middle of the transaction. After filling out the paperwork Ed introduced us to the personnel in the service and parts department who were also very friendly. Ed then went out to the car with us and made sure we understood everything about it before we left. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Huntington Beach Mazda and Ed.

I came in looking for a Mazda3 in a manual hatchback. This was a model that wasn't easily found and the dealership quickly found the model at another dealership. I had previously gone to two other Mazda dealerships that were unwilling to attempt to find this version at another dealership unless I was willing to fill out a credit application and give them a firm commitment of purchase. The willingness to help me locate the car, even without the guarantee of the deal, is what separates this Mazda dealership from other dealerships in the area. Ed was willing to help me locate a car before we even began negotiating a price. Ed was friendly, cordial, and respectful. His emphasis was on being helpful and friendly to me as a customer, not solely guaranteeing that he had a sale. This was the antithesis to everything I experienced at every other Mazda dealership I visited where they were completely unwilling to help me unless there was already a sale in hand. His emphasis on the customer relationship was refreshing and make the car buying experience substantially more enjoyable.

I went to the dealership and picked the car. The transaction went very smoothly as the price we agreed upon is the price that went on the sales contract. Joe Balisalisa is a straight shooter professional guy.If you are in the market for a brand new car, make sure to give Joe Balisalisa a call at OC Mazda, Huntington Beach. He will treat you well.On the other hand, avoid by all means Puente Hills Mazda. They will give you a price over the phone but will not honor it upon arrival as they will force you to buy add ons and options that you did not need and want in the first place.

Walked into showroom area while getting an oil change just to look. Ed greeted me with a warm smile and offered to answer any questions I might have. My wife and I just purchase a 2014 Mazda CX-5. It was a very painless process that we both enjoyed. We went to talk to Joe Rosales during the week right before closing. Joe was friendly and personable. He did not make the hard push. He knew that we were interested in buying but probably not that night. He gave us all of our options and even stayed pass closing to make sure that we had all of our questions answered. We left that night without a car but I think Joe knew we would be back. I took the CX-5 around the country in May-June, 7200 miles in three weeks. I had its oil changed in Columbus OH, and when last week I had it at HB Mazda for another oil change the OH service was listed; nice! They also detailed the CX-5 gratis as part of a promotion and did a fair job with one exception: I have Wet Okole seat covers (highly recommended BTW) and the detailers didn't put them back on! This is when Joe Rosales, the salesman who sold me the car, happened by and put them back on _himself_. He was a straight-shooter salesman when I bought the CX-5 and obviously willing to go the extra five miles to keep his clients happy.

I compared the Mazda with the Nissan Z, Subaru BRZ, Scion FR-S and even test drove a used car on the lot to compare. My heart was set on a convertible and the retractable hard-top is easy to operate. I am not sure if I got the "BEST" deal out there, but I was able to use my existing car for trade-in and they worked with me to get incredible financing with a monthly payment that I am comfortable with. They presented the options and really listened to what I wanted and needed. The overall experience was a lot easier then I imagined it could be and would highly recommend at least giving Ed and Jonathan a chance to help you find your perfect car.

We came to the dealership literally minutes before closing, just to take a glance at the Mazda Grand Touring CX-9. We had contemplated buying a bigger vehicle due to our growing family but was a bit on the fence. However, Ed was absolutely wonderful. We asked to look at the car. He greeted us in a kind demeanor, not hurried at all despite how late it was. He showed us the vehicle, asked us very specific questions, and answered all of our own questions very well. We love his manner. Not at all desperate, pushy, over the top. He invited us to come out for some food on Saturday and hoped to see us then. He is the very reason why we decided to come back. First things first, I do not have any loyalty to any salesman. I was looking for one thing, the best price on the car I wanted. I was sent to Huntington Beach Mazda via the Costco New Car Purchase Program. They set me up with the internet sales manager, Joe Rosales. Joe was very polite and friendly. He punched up the info on the car I wanted and gave me the price. I was very happy. No fuss, no muss. Only problem, the car belonged to another dealership. He said he would work on getting it transferred here so I could buy it. He called me later that day and said he had the car sitting in his lot. I told him I would come in the next day after work and buy it. Deal done!Now for the amazing part, even though I was looking for the best price, I found the best salesman. Friendly, straight to the point, no high pressure for add-ons (even though he did offer them, heck, that is his job). Bottom line, I would buy another car from him any time. He was great!

Well it all started with going to the furthest dealership from home and working my way back on April 13, 2013. What a mistake!! At the end of the day we ended up emailing Joe Balisalisa at Huntington Beach Mazda because we had changed our mind on the type of Mazda 3 we wanted, with an online quote in hand,I thought to myself this sounds a little to good to be true but lets drag ourselves down to Huntington Beach Mazda. Guess what, we get there and Joe B. has gone home for the day. Great we are going to be handed off to some other guy who can't find the email, not sure he has the car, or tell us that was not an out the door price. NOT EVEN CLOSE !!!!! We were handed off to JOE ROSALES and the purchase was GREAT. Joe Rosales new exactly what we were there for, exactly the price we were quoted, and had no problem when i changed the color i wanted. The paper work went quick and easy. The finance guy was easy to work with and the price came out to the penny when compared to the online quote. Joe even threw in some extras we ask about after the fact. These guys truly treat you the way a consumer should be handled. No passing you off to the next guy messing with your head. Got out off there quick and easy.

It's very unnerving to walk into a major life purchase and be treated as if you were standing on line for a Sears microwave. That is what I repeatedly felt like working with other dealerships. OC Mazda changed all that. More often than not, a typical salesman at competing dealerships had no redeeming qualities. No knowledge of the vehicle, no human element, no incentive to work with you or even provide the illusion of. OC Mazda has the ultimate trifecta: Knowledge, Humanity, and Great Prices.Although I've read outstanding reviews of other employees here, I wouldn't risk NOT working with Joe Rosales, whom I had the pleasure of doing business with. He met my offer EXACTLY, he outbid my outrageous bank loan by HALF, he gave me some wiggle room on an extended warranty, and above all else... was TOTALLY DECENT AND HUMAN. My initial internet contact Joe Balisalisa was also very forthcoming and respectful and got the ball rolling on my deal.I bought a used Kia Sportage, so mind you this was not a true Mazda experience. I can only imagine how they are dealing with their own manufacturer. I will be back in a few years to buy a new Mazda directly from this team. No doubt in my mind. I was really impressed with the customer service at this dealership. Ed, our salesman, was extremely knowledgeable about the product he represented yet was not pushy or overbearing like the stereotypical car salesmen. He was friendly and easy to talk to. All car salesmen should be like Ed. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and accommodating.Another excellent example of great customer service is Bob in their service dept. This dealership was great. I dealt with Ed Southfield. He never pressured me about anything and was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had. I test drove two different cars from this lot. I told them I wanted to test drive other cars from other lots before I made my decision. Ed gave me his card and said "I'll see you later when you come back." And he was right. I came back and bought a new Mazda 3. Even the finance process was great! I had a very good experience this time around. I originally went in to have my driver side headlight fixed. There is a gentleman by the name of John that I have dealt with before who ALWAYS takes GREAT CARE of me. Going for service when John is there has Always been a very pleasant experience. No pushy upselling, but always lets me know things to consider for my car, as it's 10+ years old and needs more & more "band aids" these days.This particular trip I decided to go look on their car lot while I waited because I had seen they had another, newer, used tribute I was interested in looking at because it was 4 cylinders, and beings the price of gas these days, I wanted to downsize engines, so I had to at least try it out while waiting.I met Ed Southfield, one of the Sales Reps, while poking my nose thru the windows to getter a better look at the car. Very pleasant gentleman, I felt at ease and didn't feel like I was dealing with a "used car salesman" Ed is the Epitome of what "used car salesman" SHOULD BE. Very knowledgeable, very accommodating, just an all around nice guy. Not a pushy bone in his body, definitely a refreshing change of pace when shopping for a car. He took me out on the test drive, which was a very thorough test for the car, all different kinds of roads and speeds.Needless to say, Ed & his mgmt team were able to come to MY TERMS/Price on the newer tribute and I bought it. They got to keep my "just fixed" tribute and I took home the newer improved model. :) Probably one of the MOST Enjoyable car purchases I've ever been thru, and i've purchased MANY cars in my 50+ years.Thank you Ed for the wonderful experience car buying experience.

The best experience I have had buying a car. Everybody was very friendly and incredibly helpful. Both Joes were very honest with me, and even surprisingly trusting with the test drives. Not only did this dealership make buying a car a pleasant experience, they even drove me to their sister dealership to check out the inventory in that location - at no cost to me. This was very helpful as I am not from the area, and do not know my way around Orange county freeways. I am very happy with the car I bought, as well as the price they sold it to me for. If I ever am in the market for another Mazda, I will definitely return to this dealership.

I was in the market for a new vehicle but didn't know which car I wanted, so I visited 11 different dealerships test driving 9 different cars :P I had actually never heard of a Mazdaspeed3 but my friend recommended I test drive it before settling on a Civic Si, so I did at another Mazda dealership in Cerritos, but the reps I dealt with were rude, sexist, and didn't seem to want to help me. So I decided to go to Huntington Beach Mazda just to see what they could do for me. Met Ryan, and he was actually the ONLY rep that didn't give me some kind of attitude and was willing to help. He and his manager really helped me out and gave me an amazing deal I couldn't refuse. I was actually really set on not having my credit run until I received my check from insurance, but somehow I was convinced haha. Everyone was so friendly there and really cared about my needs. When I picked up my car, I was even given a tour of the auto mechanic area, where everyone there also was very friendly. Even Steve was super awesome! He had a conversation with me about where I had moved from, etc; he cared too :) Highly recommend this dealership to anyone

My wife and I decided that we needed a second car since my company moved buildings and it wouldn't make sense to carpool anymore. We visited local dealerships but decided to go with HB Mazda. The first time we stepped foot on their property we were greeted by very nice sales consultant by the name of Ryan Follese. He wasn't the usual annoying and creepy salesman that we have seen at many of the other dealerships. He actually didn't pressure us in to buying what he wanted to sell us. I told him what I wanted out of the car and he found exactly what I was looking for. He answered ever question that we fired at him. Our experience with Ryan and the HB Mazda team was everything I could've asked for. I would recommend them 110% to anyone. My we are actually planning on trading in the Mitsubishi we bought across the street for a new Mazda in the near future.

Ryan was very helpful throughout the whole process of purchasing my car. He actually went out of his way and researched other Mazda dealerships in the area and found the exact car i was looking for and had this car transferred to the HB Mazda dealership that night. Even stayed late at night when he wasn't supposed to work just to meet with both myself and my mother, providing information about the car that he researched and even gave us safety ratings and comparisons to other cars such as Toyota and Honda. We would definitely recommend Ryan to anyone that is looking to purchase a car, both Ryan and the other guys working at this dealership were all so friendly and helpful. After the fact of purchasing my Mazda 3, Ryan still followed up with me every couple weeks giving me information about window tinting quotes and just simply asking how everything was and how I'm liking the car. We didn't feel pressured and they gave my mother and I time to talk alone when we wanted to discuss financial information. Overall this experience has been amazing and Ryan has put a lot of time and effort into just making sure we were and still are happy! I was recently in the market for a Miata MX-5. I had already driven the 2012 model, but wanted to see the 2013 design changes before making a decision. I called Ryan Follese, and by the end of that same day he had sent me pictures he had taken of their new 2013 model, checked the inventory of 2013 MX-5s in the Southern California area, and offered to try to negotiate with other Mazda dealers to get a MX-5 with the exact color and accessory package I wanted. Was looking for a Mazda 3 SkyActiv White/Sand Dunes with Automatic transmission. Had visited a couple of other dealerships but did not buy there. One asked if I was ready to buy before wanting to show me a car and the other had misquoted though maybe in good faith. Was not too optimistic when dropping by HB Mazda. Was met by Jonathan Marchand who immediately checked his inventory and had 2 on the lot that met my requirements. Took a short test drive and agreed to buy it. While he had to clear my offering price with the Sales Manager, it only took a few minutes. What pleasantly surprised me is that instead of sending me to the "Finance and Insurance" people where additional hard sell takes place (extended warranty, waterproof seats,...), Jonathan did all the paperwork himself so was done in about 15 minutes! The next day when I picked up the car, Jonathan showed me how to program my cell phone in so I could use it immediately and re-programed the service info so that it would remind me when to come back for the first "Free" oil change etc...

We spoke by phone to the salesman, Eric, then drove down from Santa Barbara to check out the car. It was exactly the car as advertised, clean, in excellent condition. Salesman Robb Neely came out and introduced himself to my wife and I as we browsed the used cars on the lot. I went in looking to spend about $5000 when Robb showed me a clean 2002 Ford Escape. After some negotiation he offered me a price that was too good to resist and I ended up making a deal on the vehicle at approximately $1200 less than what it would have cost out the door at sticker price. Negotiation was straightforward and to the point which is something I value since my time is limited because of a heavy workload. The quality of the dealership that impressed me the most is the thorough inspection and needed repair of the used vehicle before it ended up on the lot offered for sale. This resulted in the vehicle offered in great mechanical condition. I would definitely recommend Huntington Beach Mazda and Robb Neely to my friends and that says a lot because I generally shy away from making recommendations that I might later regret. I test drove cars two different times at this dealer before finally buying one on my third visit. Never once were they pushy or made me feel like I was wasting their time. My son was looking for an inexpensive good car and found what he was looking for online at H.B. Mazda. He called Joe and told him he was interested in the used Impala that was at the site. He told Joe he had been in the Navy, was divorced and had horrible credit. Joe told him that he would work with him and to set up an appointment. I was looking for a used car, but only had about $5,000 to spend, since I am unemployed and recently had my Corolla totaled. I read in the paper of the Tustin Auto Mart having a great sale, so me and my boyfriend went over there. Before we got to Tustin Mazda, I toured a couple of other lots, where all I got was a hard sell. I stopped in at the Mazda lot, and Robb Neely introduced himself, and was so kind and helpful, even knowing my limits. I finally found a 2000 Hyandai Accent that was within my price range. So, we took it for as test drive, and got the car-fax, which my boyfriend looked over while I drove. Well, we had a sale. Since I live in Fountain Valley, and HB Mazda is very close to me, Robb arranged to have the car driven over there so I could pick it up easily after I got my settlement check. And, when I turned my rental car in, and they would not drop me off at the lot, I called Robb, and he was so nice he came to pick me up at my home. All in all, Robb is the best, and after meeting his colleages, I will defintely go back to HB Mazda when I can finally afford a new(er) car

We were referred to Huntington Beach Mazda about 2 years ago by our son and his wife. They highly recommended them after purchasing a new Mazda there and having a great experience owning a Mazda. Recently, after having a fun 18 months zipping around in our Mazda 3, we decided that as senior citizens who had now developed some health issues, we were better suited to a larger model. He had done the same thing 18 months before, which had made a great impression on us. This was the BEST car-buying experience we have ever had, and this was about the fifth time we have bought a car from any dealer. You could say we very much disliked the way we were treated at other dealerships in the past. But HB Mazda was different!! We went in to look around and kick the tires on some new cars, doing research and maybe planning to buy a car next year. Salesman Jeff Jones was down-to-earth and laid-back, willing to answer all our questions. He also told us about some sales prices on new cars, and said they could work out a deal for the value of our trade-in, which was probably our biggest concern. Eventually we asked for a test drive in a Mazda3, and the handling and sportiness really impressed us. Afterward, it was getting late, but the dealership provided fresh popcorn and a movie for our daughter while we waited to see what the dealer could offer for our old car. A short time later, we drove away in our new Mazda3. We got an amazing value for our trade-in, and we got the best deal in town for the new car, much lower than what we have seen advertised online as "internet prices" at the other Auto Mall super-stores. And the best part was the laid-back no-pressure attitude from everyone at HB Mazda, especially Jeff. Thank you, thank you for such a great buying experience!

I went to Huntington Beach Mazda as a first time car buyer. I had owned a few vehicles before, but this was my first time actually purchasing a new vehicle. I had heard horror stories about buying cars before, so I expected to have to go to battle with the dealer. However, my experience turned out to be rather painless and at time even enjoyable. While there definitely some negotiation, I never felt as if the dealer was trying to sell me a bad deal. On the contrary, I ended up getting a fantastic sale on a 2011 Mazda 3. The dealer was remarkably friendly and the sale went through really smoothly (especially given the fact that I'm a first-time car buyer). Overall, I highly recommend them.

My wife and I were shopping for a new/used car and visited the Honda and Toyota dealerships in Huntington Beach (Beach Blvd). Both were good and we were heading back home when we chose to stop at the Mazda dealership on Beach Blvd.(HB Mazda). We had the pleasure of meeting Robb Neely, Customer Advocate/Certified Sales Professional. Robb greeted us and made sure he knew both our names. He showed us a few cars and then we saw the one that just stood out. A 2010 M3SGT. To be honest, we have been Honda people for years but the Mazda had it all. Leather seats and fully equipped blue tooth functions. Robb took us on a test drive (something we had not done at any of the other dealers) and he was very helpful in letting us know how the vehicle operated prior to our test drive.After a few miles, we were sold. We went back to the dealership and I told Robb we needed a few minutes of time to discuss the possible purchase. He did not pressure us with the "if you don't buy it now..." technique. We did have a friend go on line and research the car. It all seemed right and we returned to the dealership and there was Robb, waiting for us but not jumping on us the moment we got there. Yes, we bought the car and Robb was there with us the whole time the "finances" were worked out. After we bought the car, he even helped me program my smart phone to be used with the blue tooth function.I can't say enough good things about how well my wife and I were treated at Huntington Beach Mazda. From Robb to the gentlemen who handled our financing, it was all a very good experience. Would I recommend Mazda of Hunting Beach to my friends? Yes indeed.Mazda Corporation should be pleased to have people like Robb working for them. Ok I don't even know where to begin :) I first went to Huntington Beach Mazda to check out a used Mazda3 hatchback they had advertised on the internet, when I arrived I was immediatly greeted by the staff an was offered a cold beverage to drink which of course I did. Phillip told me he was fairly new I think he told me it was his third week working for mazda but not to fear cause he had gone threw his certified training an was very familuar with the Mazda3 an in the end he actually was. Next we went on a test drive at which point Phillip was very adiment to not only tell me about the Mazda3's incredible braking capabilities but he demonstrated it when we were going about 40mph he had me place my hand on my chest under the safety belt an with out warning sent the brake pedal straight to the floor. I'll admit at first it was a little scary since I had no idea he was planning on doing that, but you know what the original face of shock immediatly turned into a smile cause I new right then an there that in an emergency braking situation I have nothing to fear cause not only did Mazda's braking system perform above an beyond anything I've even drivin in the past but it also showed me that you really can stear there it the entire time. An for anyone thats ever had to slam the brakes to the ground in any car knows ABS anti lock brakes may not lock up but they definatly dont allow you to steer at the same time without sliding but Mazda's brakes do. Phillip explained to me after that he truely believes most accidents could be avoided if people truely knew what their vehicles really could, an could'nt do, an you know what I think he's right. Thanks Phil... After my test drive we sat down an Phil showed me the numbers, they looked good so I told him I'd be back in tomorrow to buy the car. At this point I was sure Phillip was gonna turn into one of those annoying salesman that says lines like "sir is there anything we can do to earn your buisness today" I know everyones dealt with that when buying a car but to my suprise Phillip nodded his head shook my hand an said perfect what time do you want me to have the vehicle ready at so you dont have to spend another 2 hours here agin even thow I didnt mind it at all. I told him I'd be in around 10am we shook hands again an after walking me out to my motorcycle I left. The next day when I showed up I walked up to Phillip selling my Mazda3 to another customer which at first was kind of disterbing, but you know what it worked out great cause instead of getting a pre-owned Mazda3 Phillip worked his magic an next thing you know I was the proud owner of a New Mazda3 Hatchback. I'm still in shock to be honest Thanks Phillip Seriously when you said buying a car should be a fun thing or bottom line your at the wrong dealership, an at first I thought he was just saying it like some kind of sales pitch but you know what he was an is so right. Honestly if your in the market for a new or pre-owned vehicle an you dont go see Phillip well then you deserve what ever poor experience you end up recieving. Again thank you so much Phillip this was honestly the best, an easiest car buying experience I've ever had an of course I'll pass your name along to all my friends. I just had my car serviced at Huntington Beach Mazda and only wish it was this easy to do business with other companies, regardless of what industry they are in. I recently called and spoke to John Cemore in the service department. He was extremely professional, friendly, and took the time to address all of my questions with thorough answers. I had purchased my CX-7 from the same dealership so he was able to look up my information and see that I would likely be covered by Mazda manufacturer warranty since they extended the warranty on this particular part due to common failures, otherwise I would be covered by my extended warranty. It's nice to see a company step up to the plate like that. I was able to make it to the dealership that same afternoon to drop off my car and John didn't happen to be there but I spoke with Nick who was just as friendly and helpful as John and got me written up and out of there in under 10 minutes. The next day I got a call from John who let me know that they completely replaced the air compressor, charged and filled the freon, replaced something else connected to the unit, and also that they discovered a ruptured motor mount during inspection, which they also replaced. With so much work to be done I didn't think I would get my car back for a day or two, but it was finished within 24 hours of originally dropping it off! To top it off, their car washer was broken, so they actually hand washed my car and did a very nice job. My car now runs great again (this is the first and only issue I have ever had in over 3 years), my A/C is freezing cold, and best of all, MAZDA COMPLETELY COVERED EVERYTHING, I didn't even have to pay a deductible or diagnostic fee! I walked out of there without spending a penny, except for the $4 the parts department charged me to repair my keyless entry :-) Thank you John, Nick, and everyone at HB Mazda Service Dept. for being so helpful and making a stressful car problem a no hassle and pleasant experience! Other businesses should model their professionalism, friendliness, and customer service after these guys!

Jon's knowledge of the vehicles and the features, optional and standard, was superb. He was personable, and made sure I understood what I was purchasing. He spent time going over all the interior features to make sure I knew and understood how to work everything in the car. The staff was very friendly and efficient and seems to hold Jon in high regard. The overall experience was great, and I only hope that future car purchases go so well. Airyn was a great sales agent. She had shopped some of her used inventory before we got to the dealership and already knew the vehicle we were interested in before we even showed up. The next morning she drove to their other location (all the way in Tustin) and brought it to the HB dealership so we wouldn't have to travel just to see the vehicle. I brought my car in because it was stuck in gear and there were many codes that came on. Brian handled my case. He said they couldn't find anything wrong with my car. When it was returned the window wasn't working. I contacted Brian and he told me that none of the work/testing would result in the window not working. Therefore, I would have to pay for the repair and that it could be expensive if they had to take the door apart. I asked another service advisor and he told me that the window just had to be reset and that it was due to the testing/ work on my car. Shortly after that I drove the car to Vegas and broke down in the dessert. They told me nothing was wrong with the vehicle and I ended up with a $300 towing bill.

My husband and I came in a week ago, and we both ended up with brand new cars. The customer service was great. The salesman's knowledge of the vehicles and the features, optional and standard, was great. He took the time to go over all the interior features to make sure we knew and understood how to work everything in the cars and didn't have to fumble around figuring it out ourselves. He was friendly, but not pushy. The financing guy, he was very friendly and efficient. The overall experience was better than I have had at any other dealership. I will definately consider returning to this dealership for our next cars in the future.

I bought an ultra clean Mazda 6 this last Monday and am feeling better and better about the decision every day that I drive it. The salesman - Rob - was very helpful and showed me every little bell and whistle on the car. I was going to rate them a little lower on the price due to getting a lower finance rate than I thought I would but I only put 5% down and have an average to approaching good credit score. All in all I have zero regrets buying the Mazda and am still getting surprised by how much I like the car. Rob even sent me a follow up email to make sure that I was able to get my blutooth hooked up. I highly recommend both the salesman and the dealership if your in the market for what they offer. I shopped at Toyota, Honda, Nissan and chose Mazda in the end.

My fiancee and I went to Huntington Beach Mazda at 10am looking to purchase a used Mazda CX-9 with low mileage for a great price. We were met by our salesman, Ed, as we entered the lot. A Very Pleasant Surprise!I recently purchased a 2008 Mazda CX-9 from Huntington Beach Mazda in Huntington Beach California.I don't know about you but many people I know really get stressed out dealing with auto retailers. The all too typical high pressure tactics do not make buying a car pleasant.HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS!You don't get any of that at Huntington Beach Mazda, none, not even a little bit.I had the pleasure of working with ROBB NEELY at the dealership. What a guy. How refreshing it is for someone to actually listen to what we are saying... a gentleman that asks helpful questions and one who showed me great patience as I was deciding which model car I wanted; a CX-9 or CX-7.I looked at the cars, I test drove them, I asked a lot of questions and ROBB was there to walk me through all of it. ROBB showed me a number of cars at the dealership. I must say, I was surprised that all of them were in such good condition. I mean inside and out they were immaculate. They were low mileage cars and looked 'brand new'.I wasn't sure about buying a Mazda and had actually gone to the dealership to 'do my due diligence' and 'eliminate' Mazda and specifically the CX-9 from consideration. What happened was quite the opposite. The CX-9 was much more upscale than I thought it would be and it drove like a dream. If you are in the market for a car, consider Mazda and by all means, talk to ROBB NEELY at Huntington Beach Mazda. I know he will take excellent care of you.

Ive test driven dearly a dozen cars in the last month and never had a more comprehensive test drive than with Robb Neely. Before sitting in the car, he walked me through each safety feature under the hood and around the frame, making me appreciate every aspect of the craftsmanship in the vehicle. Once behind the wheel, he let the car do the talking as we put it through a rigorous test-drive down winding roads, the 405 fwy and an empty street where we could really challenge the cars speed and braking power. WOW. Owner John Patterson happened to be there the day I came in and I was shocked at the interest he took in my situation. He spent hours calling in favors from his friends in high places and even called me from his cell phone while on his way to dinner with his son. The entire team listened to everything I was looking for in a car and car payment and steered me away from ones that may have been a better sale for them, but that wouldnt have suited my needs. They treated me like I was their little sister, only wanting what was best for me, and showed me proof of their word in the figures.Robb was available by cell phone all hours of the day and welcomed my many thoughts, questions and requests. He put me in touch with the GM of a different dealership, arranged for a transfer of cars and was extremely knowledgeable on all fronts. I was treated like a queen from the moment I first arrived on the lot, never having to so much as open a door for myself. I could not recommend this team more highly and will continue to spread the word about this diamond-in-the-rough dealership.

Friendly staff and smooth process throughout. The experience with Robb was much easier than the usual "Car Salesman" never ending negotiations to get to the price we wanted. I would recommend buying a car there to anyone, anytime. Prices are very reasonable too and the trade-in value came out OK - albeit needing a bit further negotiations first...Finally, the final part in the "finance room" was much faster than ever experienced before and Jerry was very helpful too.

I came to Mazda Huntington Beach for my first time to get my oil changed. I was pleasantly surprised when I met Mark. Not only was he friendly but he really knows cars! I have a couple problems with my car that nobody else has been able to help me with. He took a look figured out the problem and I will be back in next week to get it fixed. Let me just say that there is a young guy working there in the service dept.named Mark and he is so incredibly courteous and efficient. He remembers me when I come in and his attitude is one of the main reasons I have become loyal to this particular dealership. Customer service is huge for me. Basically- if you treat me right- you have my loyalty. Also- they have the added perk of a play room- my four year old loves it.

My experience as a first time new car buyer at Huntington Beach Mazda could not have been more comfortable. Chuck really took time to ensure that I looked at every car I was interested in and curious about, allowing me to test drive vehicles and ask questions about various models and makes, even demonstrating a knowledge of the used Hondas and Toyotas available on site. I was not rushed in any part of the process, and he even encouraged me to take the necessary time to think over this decision. He was informed, efficient, and friendly, and this service from a car salesman completely exceeded my expectations. By the time I drove away in my new car, I felt as though I was part of the family as the staff and Chuck gathered to see me off with waves. An amazing experience!

The routine service I required was handled quickly and the service advisor...Mark..was very helpful in explaining the current condition of my 2007 Mazda 6 Wagon.I would recommend Huntingtton Beach Mazda for service and sales. The cost of the service is comparable to the brand name oil change only places. Going to the Mazda dealer for routine maintenance costs about the same and you get dealer trainedservice to maintain warranty on your Mazda.

Working with Huntington Beach Mazda was the most stress free and comfortable car buying experience I have ever had. Before going to them I had been so stressed out at other dealers dealing with shady and pushy salesmen. At Huntington Mazda they are all very straight foreword and genuine. My handicapped grandmother helped me purchase my new car and they were very accommodating to her and had everything ready so we could sign the paperwork and she could go home. Afterward they took the time to show me around the dealership, show me all the features of the car and even pair my iPhone to it. I look forward to getting my services done here, they have a service plan where you get free oil changes and free car washes during the week. Hands down these guys are great. The overall buying experience was great with none of the usual frustrations that often take some of the fun out of buying a new car. Everyone we spoke with was helpful and friendly and went a long way toward making us feel comfortable even as we discussed our needs, budget and financial situation. At no time did it feel as if we were being "hard sold" and our salesman was very patient with us as we looked at different cars. We especially liked that he was honest enough to point out some of the cons in the newer, more expensive model we looked at as opposed to a cheaper pre-owned model we were also considering. Within hours after leaving this dealership, we were already recommending them to family and friends.

I had been searching for a car and had been disappointed with the used car searches on AutoTrader.com and CarMax. The decision to go to a Mazda dealership started with a simple on line inquiry about a specific new 2010 model. When the internet sales manager Joe Balisalisa responded, he informed me in his first correspondence that HB Mazda offered a sales discount to my place of employment - this one statement narrowed my search considerably! Both Joe and Steve Liewald worked a steady deal and a couple short hours after I arrived, I was signing paperwork for my new car with Andrew Kozak. This is my second vehicle from HB Mazda ( I purchased the 2010 Mazda3 GT with Bose/Moonroof Pkg. and Tech Pkg. in Gunmetal Blue Mica )and will now consider myself a loyal customer no question. Fadi met with me for our appt. as scheduled and was top notch from start to finish. I was comfortable the entire test drive, application completion, finance paperwork ( Thanks Francisco!!) and drive off. Fadi and Francisco are both 2010 Mazda3 owners, so this showed me how great this car is and it's wonderful to see employees stand behind and value their own company product. Fadi made me comfortable and made sure I was aware of where he was at all times in the process to complete my purchase. The color choice I really wanted was not available with the options requested but he triple checked for me anyway and I am very happy with my second choice stated above. He drove to Tustin Mazda to pick up the car then spent the time to guide me through the operation of the car as well as the options I purchased ( Moonroof, Navigation and Bluetooth). I definitely took the long way home and enjoyed driving my M3!! I am mot at all disappointed and look forward to visiting HB Mazda for my first oil change. Fadi is a definite asset and true representation of the Mazda company. An internet quote was requested and an email quote was received very quickly. The out-the-door price was $1500 dollars lower than the next best price.The salesman drove nearly 100 miles to save me from having to use public transportation which would have taken 5 1/2 hours.Everything was handled extremely competently and thorougly. I still had no intention of buying a car that day, but I was so impressed with the car that I made an offer on ityou know the rest. Bill was such a polite, humble and easy-going person that he made me feel that I was working with a very honest, sincere salesman. I felt like were old friends, and I had just met him.

Overall our experience (myself and my husband) was very positive. We worked with Tony, who we found to be a friendly, knowledgeable and efficient sales person. He was very honest and straightforward with us which we really appreciated. The process was smooth and we didn't feel the typical pressure we are used to feeling when purchasing a car. We both felt this dealership made buying a car a pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend meeting with Tony as a salesperson. The only slightly negative part of the experience was that it took a little while for them to find a sales person who could meet with us (we walked in on a saturday so it was pretty busy), but the wait at the start was definitely worth it.Highly recommend!!

I was very surprised at how easy HB Madza made my car buying experience. I was fortunate enough to be able to strike a deal that I was satified with over the phone via internet sales. When I went into the dealership, the vibe there was great. I didn't feel like a fish in a shark tank as I had with other dealers. Both Joe and Don were great, and they were both very helpful with anything that I needed. I ordered some accessories for my vehicle as well. They had them shipped next ground as soon as they arrived because I needed them quickly, as we were going on a trip. I think that HB Mazda would do anything and everything that can to give any potential customer exactly what they want, for what they want. Thanks guys!

After lengthy homework on the perfect car I wanted I walked into the HB Mazda and sat down with Tony Benjamin who treated me with kindness and respect throughout the whole experience. This was my first purchase of a new vehicle after owning my first car for 10 years. So, I was on my own and very nervous. Don Osburne in internet sales was involved in this car buying experience as well and he was a true angel. Just the kind of man you want to go to when buying a car. I am so thankful to have found these two men, and will always remember them for the next 10 years of ownership of my new 2010 Mazda CX9!! I was having trouble figuring out what kind of car I wanted and went to a number of dealerships, but couldn't find a car that wasn't as big as my other car. I decided to stop at Huntington Beach Mazda and see if I could afford a Mazda of some sort. I had a Mazda RX-7 and I loved that car. I put over 180,000 miles on it before giving it away to a charity organization. I purchased a Hyundai Sonata which was also a good car and drove that for 187,000 miles. I wanted a smaller car with some get up and go. I found a smaller Mazda M3 and test drove it and I loved the tight steering and the get up and go. The guys were so friendly and helpful. I decided that was the car I wanted but the color wasn't what I wanted. So, I told them the color and sure enough they had one at one of their other dealerships and we started working on the paperwork. Dan Hardin is the greatest. He helped me figure out everything for me to be able to buy my car. All of the guys there were so helpful and I felt like I was with friends and not just someone who was trying to make a sale. It was the easiest time I think I have ever had buying a new car. Thanx so much for all your help and for getting the color I wanted. I love this car. You guys are the greatest!

With my wife's Denali coming off lease next month we thought we would test drive a few cars this weekend to see what was available. We had done our internet homework and had narrowed it down to three vehicles...Honda Pilot, Chevy Traverse, and Mazda CX-9. After visiting the first two dealerships it was refreshing to walk onto the lot at HB Mazda and have Tony come out to meet us and explain the various CX-9's they had on the lot. he was very knowlegable about the vehicles, answered our questions, understood that we were window shopping and felt grateful that we were there instead of thinking that he had no chance at a sale. Before we left the dealership he introduced us to his manager who was very nice to talk to as well. Not once did they suggest we sit down and "talk numbers". We left the dealership Saturday feeling very positive about the entire experience and knew that when we were ready to purchase the Mazda, this was where we were going.After discussing it on Saturday night we decided to sit down with Tony and HB Mazda and talk about pricing. On Sunday I drove back to HB Mazda and met with Tony to talk price. They were very open to negotiating a deal that worked best for us. Happily we closed the deal and within two hours I was driving off with a 2008 CX-9 Grand Touring vehicle! Thanks to all the people at HB Mazda for making this happen. We will gladly recommend you to our friends and when we are ready for our next vehicle we know where we will be stopping off first!

From the moment we met our sales guy Fadi Joubran, our experience at the HB Mazda Dealership was excellent. He was knowledgeable and professional (and not pushy). The car was for our son, and Fadi spent time with him to show him options with new and used vehicles. When we made our decision, his communication by email and phone was excellent. He introduced us to his sales manager and we were able to set everything up by email and phone. On the day we purchased, he went through everything with us and turned us over to the finance manager. There were no surprises, it went quickly and we got a great deal. I do a lot of research before buying a vehicle, because I dread the whole negotiating experience - I know what I want, and what is a fair price for me to pay. There were no hardball tactics at this dealership. The employees mentioned the owner, Mr. Patterson, and the "feel" he wanted at the dealership... and it shows. It was the easiest car buying experience we've had, and they have earned a new customer.

We were looking for a used Mazda 6 for our daughter in the inland empire and we didn't have much luck. We were visiting family in Fountain Valley and decided to stop by and see what was available at Huntingotn Beach Mazda. We were greeted by Chuck L. and he immediately began to ask us questions to find us just the right vehicle for our needs. The car was perfect. The price was alittle more than we wanted to spend but the condition of the car was excellent so we decided to buy the car. The buying process was quick and easy. The dealership was nice and professional and we felt like they were honest with us. We had been to other dealerships and the sales people were pushy and just seemed to tell us anything to get the sale. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a great car. This is our 2nd Mazda and they are really nice cars.

We bought both our cars from HB mazda! Dan H., was very nice and friendly. I found a car at the Tustin dealership and he was nice enough to have it brought over to HB which made it alot more convienent for us. We are very happy w/ our purchase.When completing the paperwork, I didn't really care for the attitude of the finance guy talking to us about the extended warranty,etc...and he seemed burdensome when we noticed the price was not correct on the form and he had to reprint it over. But knowing that we were in a rush, he was quick to get the paperwork done.

Our salesman, Bill Nicol, was pleasant, friendly, and did not pressure us to be a car. The used car manager was very friendly and helpful as well, and Bill drove the car 126 miles to deliver it at our home. Neither of them was thoroughly knowledgeable about our particular car, since it is a Porsche and they are a Mazda dealership. But Bill showed me the ratings on Consumer Reports versus others cars of it's type, and he was honest about what he did and did not know.

Hi, going to Huntington Beach Mazda to buy a new MX-5 this last weekend was the best experience at a dealership my wife and I have ever had.All the price negotiations were done via e-mail, honestly and without the games that car salesmen enjoy playing while they make you wait at the show room (it got an incredible deal !!).My wife and I arrived at 4:30 p.m. on a Friday and she was driving the car out the lot by 7:15 p.m. with one huge smile, the car was perfect and exactly the one one she wanted.My contact at the dealership was Joe Balisalisa and I could not thank him enough (now) for the experience, I dislike buying new cars just for the B.S. that some of this guy throw at you thinking that you are some kind of moron.I will recommend Huntington Beach MAZDA to all my friends ...Carlos D.

He was very quick with correspondence both in email and in returning my calls if he was not immediately available. The transaction was efficient and thorough. I came into Huntington Beach Mazda after having my previous car totalled in an accident. The instant I walked in the door I was greeted by the owner with a friendly handshake. He introduced me to Brian who was very thorough and thoughtful in the cars he selected. He asked me pertinent questions and didn't beat around the bush. We test drove a newer model of the Mazda 6. On the test drive Brian was personable and fun, he answered every question and talked me through the dynamics of the car. I decided it was too big, but I spotted the car that I had in my mind, the right color and all across the lot! We took it for a spin and I was immediately in love! I had already decided to buy it, but just to be sure Brian had me drive the same car in a newer model to have some comparison. I didn't ever feel pressured, I just felt like I was receiving great customer service. He did all he could to make me feel included in the process, and talked me through the paperwork. I left feeling extremely excited and had an amazing experience, to this day I love my car!

After my car was totaled in an accident, I was in the market for a very specific and hard to find CX9. Huntington Beach Mazda located the car for me in Northern California. Although it took about a week to get it, they arranged the shipping, and gave me a loaner car in the meantime. Two other dealers had told me that I would have to place an order, and could expect a wait of up to two months. (They then tried to "switch" me to an in stock model) Since I got my car, I have had several follow-up contacts from my salesman, the sales manager, and even the general manager. FIVE STAR service. (I also enjoy the free car washes)
