Final Update: Honda of Salem corrected this issue and did a nice job. Increasing my rating . UPDATE: Honda of Salem took it back to repair. Check engine light came on. They took it to Kia and it was not repaired. Took it again and it has been nearly a month. We call Honda but do not get a response. My son purchased a used car from Salem Honda. The next day the check engine light came on. We realize the car is sold as is but he called to see if Honda might take a look. He left a message and no one called him back. Not great service.

Dealership was clean. Salesmanship was lacking with the first one I dealt with.I felt rushed to make a deal and the process took too long. I was initially there over 2 hoursJust to get trade in value and test drive. I went back the next day to complete paperwork and was there again over 2 hours. But I received more information from the finance department than the salesman.

I thought the overall experience was positive. I came in without an appt on Sat morning10/15 to have a B1 service and an oil change done. The Odyssey was finished in the time promised, by 11:30. Kory showed me that the cabin air filter was dirty and asked if I wanted it replaced. I asked how much and he quoted $80, said it was a HEPA filter. I declined. Maybe $80 is the book time for labor and parts to only replace the cabin air filter, but when the cartridge is already out as part of the B1 service, $80 seemed extremely high. I guess I could have walked over to the parts counter and asked for a price for a replacement.I can buy a K&N reuseable filter for $40. I went home and replaced the filter with a basic paper filter. Found that the left side stop that snaps into the side of the glove box was hanging loose. I like that your service area has a large drive in area, although it still takes some getting used to that it is OK to just drive in and park. I wanted to comment on the service writers area with an observation. Walking through the sliding doors from the drive in area is different because you have to look around to figure out the layout since the service writers are arranged in a half circle around the doors. It's just different than my usual experience where you approach someone behind a long counter, vs walking into the center of an open area.As I was waiting to be helped I noticed other customers come in through the sliding doors, look around and figure out, OK, these people are here ahead of me and I think we are waiting for one of these guys in the separate work stations to help us. I guess I'll stand here in this open area until one of the guys acknowledges me or it appears to be my turn to be helped. An enthusiastic greeting into the area and an acknowledgement of how soon they will be helped might be helpful, especially for first time customers.Thanks

Came in to exchanged a dead battery that was under warranty. Walked in and the only guy on floor was mauricio Hernandez who pretended to be busy and didn't even bother to said welcome or I'll help you in a bit. I asked if he would help and very rudely he said he was busy. This guy does not have any customer service experience and Honda should spend a little more money and time to train their staff. This will be my last visit no longer will I service my Honda here...

Went to Salem Honda looking for a newer, used car for our daughter. It was early evening and we had a gentleman named John Steward come to ask us if he could help. John was at the end of what we found out was a very long day. However, he took the time to show us many used vehicles which fit our parameters. We went back the next day and John was able to fit our daughter into a Honda which should last her a long time. Through the entire sales process, lot to financing, John was respectful and answered any questions we had. We would definitely go back to Salem Honda!

While at Honda of Salem for an oil change, I asked the person helping us to help me with the in-car phone. He took the time to check the prior phone pairing, which he then redid as well as changed a couple of settings on my phone. All of this was done in a friendly and helpful manner. This may to some seem like an insignificant issue, but it was huge for me!

I had an appointment scheduled with Jeff my salesman to finalize the purchase we had worked out over the phone and I didn't have financing. I expected at most a 1 hour visit total. I got there and Jeff handled his end as quickly as possible and then I waited, and waited, and waited. Your finance department had only one individual working that night and 1 hour turned into 3 and a half hours. Once I finally got into the finance department we zipped through the papers in about 7 minutes, which I greatly appreciated. If I hadn't had a vehicle locked down and paid for in cash I could have very easily seen myself leaving and going elsewhere, especially had it been a new Honda where I'm sure I could get a price matched. Overall the car is great, was nice and clean, and had a full tank of gas. Jeff did his best and I know it frustrated him with the wait as well. I don't think I'll ever purchase from a Lithia dealership again due to my negative experience. Thank you

We drove our 2012 Honda Crosstour to have the Oil change on 8-13-16 at 3:45 pm. The sign on the Door to the service department showed that the service hours on Saturday Open until 4:30 pm. My wife went in and asked to have the oil changed, and the employee said that "they close the service at 3:30 pm so the employees can get off work by 4:30 pm. WOW what GREAT Customer Service!!! What ever happened to the day of taking care of your customer? It is not at Honda of Salem

Scott Johansen surprised me by providing some fundamental reasons to buy this car for, which the buyers easily forget when shopping around. For example, we discussed questions such as:1. who is a driver, does it meet your purpose to buy this car? 2. price range of the car, can you comfortably afford it?3. features of the car, does it meet your requirements? 4. types of the car, what is the car's on-call history? I feel no-push for the car-buying experience, his recommendations really helped me to make the purchase decision. Therefore, I would rather call him a sales consultant than a salesman. Scott Johansen in Honda of Salem deserves the Honda Olympic Gold.

I have had very good experiences with your service adviser Eric Bert in last few visits. Somehow he was the one who attended me every time I came to your service department. He's very courteous in his approach and quick in his task. Very helpful in my use of the store coupons but never push me into some needed service prematurely. Because of that type of approach he takes, the break service was done at right timing with use of coupon. This time I came for oil change but he explained to me that cabin filter and transmission fluid replacement is due soon. But he again was not forceful in telling me the need. So I got only oil change done but I'll come back to get these service done.

My car broke down on the way to buy a car from Honda of Salem driving from Eugene. The salesman, Mitchel (Mitch) Colvin came and picked me up in the car I wanted to test drive. That wasn't the one I ended up buying, but it was very nice of him to rescue me.The worst part was agreeing on finances. This dealership doesn't negotiate prices, at least for the cars I looked at. It was against their policy or something. Also, I was told (3 times) that they wouldn't do hard credit checks, but Mr. Colvin's boss did 8 hard credit checks on me, as well as straight up ignoring what I wanted. I asked for estimates on some very specific situations and his boss kept giving him ones that would favor the company. It was very frustrating and extremely time consuming. Mr. Colvin was very nice throughout the process. I was at Honda of Salem for SIX HOURS though. I didn't get home until 10pm, not to mention in bed, and had to be up at 2:30am the next morning for work (as I well informed them a few times). I just wanted the estimates I asked for, but I would wait a long time, he would come back with a different one, I would wait a long time again....Tony Owings and getting rescued are my two reasons for rating the dealership so high. After I had decided on a means of payment Mr. Owings found a way to save me thousands. He was also very polite and considerate, and understanding of the fact that I had slept maybe 8 hours in the last 48, having gotten up at 2:30 that morning for work. I think I asked him 3 or 4 times if he was sure I was approved and not pre-aproved. To say the least, I think Mr. Owens was a lot more people-savy than his coworkers and a gentleman. It was very nice being able to drive home that night in my own car, and knowing I was going to make it to work the next morning.

The service Department is extremely difficult to work with. Every single time I've had an issue (at this point, 4 issues since my car purchase 8 months ago), it has been covered by either their warranty or the power train warranty. It is like pulling teeth to get them to admit to it being covered, and they always try to insinuate first it's something that you personally could have done to cause the issue. Specifically, ROBERT is extremely rude, unprofessional and snarky, with zero customer service skills.

I had a great experience once again working with David Maceira. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that it's such a LONG process with so much waiting around (being hungry, though David got me a sandwich out of the dealer's machine), even though I tried to lay the groundwork via email and on the phone. But I guess I need to accept that I can expect a 4 hour process when buying a car!The facility is pretty new and very clean and comfortable. My sister and I were out just looking around and when we got to Lithia, R.J. Clemente listened to our needs, showed us what we wanted, and worked with us so we went home with a car that day. No hassle, no torture, just a smooth and pleasant buying experience. My experience at this dealership has always been excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient. I took my car in for an oil change, but they always check all the fluids, hoses, tires, etc. They let me know this time that the tread on my tires is getting low and that I should get new tires before the winter weather sets in. I'm comfortable with this dealership taking good care of my car.

Called for a recalled part replacement, left 3 messages that were not returned. Once we reached a real person, the part was ordered right away and we were notified timely when it came in.The appointment was made to fit our schedule. I have been to others dealers and had the usual runaround. High interest rates. My credit score was a challenge. The other dealers made me feel embarrassed. I had the opposite experience at Honda of Salem. I was in and out in 1-1/2 hours from start to finish. My salesperson Jeff is so great to work with. Made the whole experience easy and quick. Got me a good interest rate. Payments that I could afford. They made me very comfortable. The finance person I dealt with was also incredible. I would highly recommend going to this dealership. Don't waste your time with the others or go to Portland thinking that it's less expensive. This is the dealership for you. Anyone afraid they can't get approved give them a try. They treat you with respect and dignity. So refreshing! Ask for Jeff.

If I was given a chance to rate our sales person on a scale from 1 to 10 it would be a 10. Jim Gilbert was friendly, very knowledgeable, and not pushy. We had just begun to look for a new car and he gave us all of the information that we needed to choose between different makes and models. So when we were ready to purchase our car we would not have considered going to a different salesperson.We love our new Honda CRV Touring and will be taking a 2 month cross country trip in the Fall.

Bought a vehicle from these guys in April. Within two days of driving it it started making awful noises and acted as though it wanted to die every time I came to a stop.Talked to the salesman who sold it to me and he said he would get me in to have it looked at and that he would call me back. Four days later I still hadnt heard anything. I sent him a text inquiring about it and he said "Oh they were supposed to call you". Ok well they didnt! He proceeds to tell me that Service Department was too busy to help him out and for me to give them a call. I did just that. No one answered the phone. I left a detailed voicemail and continue to call because I still hadn't recieved a call back. Three weeks later I get the car in to be looked at. Eric proceeds to tell me that they have to send it over to Chevy cause they can't work on it at Honda. Mind you I had my two small children with me. He told me that it could be five or six hours so they would give me a ride home. Give me a ride home!!! This is my only vehicle. I was left stranded the entire day with no vehicle to find out at 5:30pm that Chevy didnt even get to look at my car and it would at least be one more day. So now I'm without a vehicle and I am supposed to pay $125 an hour to have it diagnosed. I insisted they gave me a loaner car, which should have been offered to me in the first place! Or as Will said "Did you ask"? Should I have to ask! When it was all said and done the vehicle has multiple issues that of course aren't covered by warranty. At this point I am angry! A single mother of 3 children who worked hard to be able to get a new car that should have had zero issues. I am now on the line to pay to have all the work done. Where is the customer service in that? You sold me a 2011 vehicle that was never properly inspected, because if it would have been there would not have been issues two days after purchasing the car. Yes you covered the diagnostic charge from Chevy...but why? Because you know you are wrong! The sales manager wouldnt get on the phone at all! Talk about coward move on their part.

I visited the dealership recently to test-drive a CRV while I was deciding which make/model of car I wanted to buy. The salesperson seemed really unexcited to show me the car or let me test drive it, and I had to draw any information about the car out of him. It seemed like he might have had a cold so maybe he just wasn't feeling well?? I ended up going to another dealership further away to sit in another CRV (and they were great, by the way) just to make sure that the Salem salesperson's attitude didn't influence my feelings about the car.

I am always pleased with the prompt and efficient service of this dealership, however, this time I needed a new air filter. I feel like the dealership should have reminded me of the online coupon I recently received in order for me to receive a discount for the filter and service. This would have saved me at least $10. That was disappointing, especially when I arrived home and remembered I could have paid a little less.

I called Honda of Salem on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 and a man named Bill who answered the phone was very rude. I mean horrible customer service!!! I was looking for parts of my car and ask what's the Brand name of the parts was and he raised his voice and said, "I DON'T KNOW, IT'S A HONDA BRAND!" which my was a reasonable answer but RUDE of him because he really seems to try to intimidate me. Purchased a new Honda Pilot back in 2007 and have been doing business with the dealer ever since. Had to buy a used 2009 Honda Pilot because our previous one was totaled in an accident, but the structural integrity of the Pilot prevented any serious injuries. Best two words to describe these guys RUDE and MISLEADINGI get a car isn't yours until you sign papers but at least call the person you have been working with for 2 days and tell them the car sold, don't make them drive 45 min in with two kids.They went to run my credit check I asked for my father to get to see the car while we waited, the sales guy then picks ups a phone that never rang or lite up and says "Oh know the car sold this morning" Okay, if that's the case why were you going to run my credit report. They then didn't want to give me any of my paperwork back that had all my personal information on it. I would not recommend these guys to anyone!!! In today's world being a bad person is way to easy, Lets strive to not give in to these kinds of places we have 1000's of places to get a car these days. Its to easy for a business to say it isn't personal, well guess what it is. My family is riding in this car and hard earned my money is paying for it.

I will start with the positives:The sales man I worked with was kind on the phone and returned my calls promptly. He was easy to get ahold of. But there were also many negatives. In my initial negotiations, I felt that the sales team was very stereotypical. Using phrases like "we are all in" and "we would lose money if we lowered the price" even when the car was significantly above retail value on KBB. I understand wanting to make a high profit, but sacrificing honesty isn't necessary. When we learned we couldn't agree on their unreasonable offer, the sales man walked away without a handshake or eye contact, which I found very rude. I had been polite the entire interaction. Two days later they called back and decided to drop the price, which is when I agreed to the sale. There was a minor chip in the paint and they could not "afford" to send me away with a sample of touch up paint and the car wasn't even sold with a full tank of gas. At one point, they even sent me home with a stranger's registration information by mistake and didn't seem concerned at the situation when I returned it. The sales man made a joke about how busy they were that day. I would be appalled at my lack of privacy if my personal information had been sent home with a stranger. I love my car, but I would not work with this dealership again due to what I felt was an unprofessional sales team that cared only on profit and not on creating a return customer.

We purchased an as is 07 Honda Accord on December 12th 2015. Two days later, we found that the mirror was stuck on by electrical tape that matched the color of the mirror and a bad battery. The car actually died on us. I spoke with Mike Peters and after a twenty minute phone call he finally got off the as-is car train and agreed to purchase the battery. Then we were told that once all the financing went through to inquire about the mirror. While we were being bombarded with calls to give them a good review no one bothered to call about the mirror. We finally went in to get this looked at as we were getting nowhere with calling first Malley approached us and accused us of lying about it and said that he found it hard to believe that everyone missed that. We got into a meeting with Mike Peters and he let us know and held against us that they took the overpriced car down in price and covered the cost of the bad battery he sold us. Mike also openly admitted that cars that hit 90K miles are often put on the lot with tape or glue on the mirrors and other parts. Which completely contradicted what the salesman told us. We understand what an as is car is. But we also understand GOOD customer service. Good customer service is telling your customer that something is wrong, not hiding it. We told them that we would have still bought this car if they just would have been honest. In the end they were still just looking for that good review. Not to help us. We still have a mirror barely hanging on by electrical tape. My advice? Take all your car buying needs elsewhere!The only person at this dealership we would recommend is Brant plaster who works in the finance department.

My first NEW car purchase in 41 years and I will say that it was about as a quick and easy a process as one could imagine. I already new I wanted a Honda - they're the "best"! With limited time available I preceded my visit with a phone call to announce that I was going to go "Look" at/for a new car. After test driving two preferable models I quickly narrowed it down to my choice of a Civic EX-T. The salesperson Jeff was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Not being a frequent car buyer I asked Jeff, if there any reason to purchase a new car TODAY? He replied, "Yes, because we have the car you want now". May not have it tomorrow? I probably needed a "push". The hardest part of the experience was coming to a decision on beyond sticker price "extras". What makes sense and what doesn't make sense - FOR ME. Once that was determined, Honda of Salem was FANTASTIC in helping me with all the financing and paperwork - having my new car ready to roll quickly. When I picked the car up Jeff was super helpful and made himself available for any follow-up I may need/want. THANK YOU

We were leaving for Christmas and needed our car fixed. It was shaking when we accelerated. They replaced the front axles and footings, front brakes, rotated the front rotars, and fixed our sliding door that didn't work. When we picked it up the first time, the one (once broken sliding door) was fixed, but the OTHER (working fine when we dropped it off) door was not working. They told us it was like that when we dropped it off (B.S.). We get 1hr into our drive to visit family for the holidays, after driving it off the lot and it breaks down. Spewing tranny fluid everywhere. We take it back to them and they say it was just a bad coincident, but our transmission is going out and it will be $6000 to replace it. I don't trust them. Our transmission was fine before we took it there. We told them not to touch anymore. Now it shifts hard into 1st and second gear and loses power and revs randomly. I am so disappointed. It's like they did something to it and won't take responsibility. It seriously worked fine before we brought it in. Just shaked at high speeds. We can't afford to get anything more fixed. Total rip off.

Frustrated from a week of dealing with disingenuous/dishonest Honda dealers in the Portland and Vancouver WA area I was delighted with my car buying experience with Honda of Salem. Initial contact with the salesman was by email and phone (I live 45 miles away), and all representations made by email/phone were abided by when I got there in person. No surprises, no bait/switch, and no stuffing the final bill with unrequested/unexpected extra costs. Salesman Jeff was honest, straightforward, knowledgeable about the car (2016 Civic), and worked hard to get the car prepped and ready for sale (it had just come off the truck that day). This is the way the car buying experience is supposed to be. Happy to recommend this dealership (and salesman Jeff).

Bought a 2012 Honda Pilot, love the truck. Three days and 165 miles later, after they had me drive back to the dealership from Portland to sign a new loan, the car went into "limp mode" and needed towed. Turns out I got lucky, radiator was leaking and needed replaced. But the reason it needed towed was the alternator was bad and killed the battery. About a $400 fix. After many calls and no call backs I talked to Matthew Perry, He said he was the GM. He told me it was not his problem to fix my car and to stop calling his staff, they had work to do. I will now do all I can to inform other potential customers and Mr. Perry's employers how he represents the company.

I bought my 2012 Honda at this dealership earlier this year and have been very pleased with it. I have never owned a Honda before so wasn't sure what to expect. Everyone was friendly and professional. I did not feel pressured to buy at any time which I appreciated. They were very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions I had. I absolutely love my Honda and am very pleased I went with this car and this dealership.I recently had my car serviced here and the service staff are courteous and professional as well. They were able to do what I needed in a timely manner. I like that they did a thorough vehicle courtesy inspection free of charge as well.My overall experience with this dealership has been exceptional. They go above and beyond and make me feel very comfortable and not pressured in the least.

My salesman, Scott Johansen was awesome. He wasn't too pushy, and he worked with my schedule. He was transparent in answering my question and explaining things to me. I would highly recommend him to others in the market for a Honda.I personally get frustrated with the finance and pricing piece where my salesman has to leave the room to consult with "the financial guy". I would like the negotiation process better if the "financial guy" would just come in the room and work with us.

I took my 2014 Honda CrZ here in March 2015 for an oil change and 15k mile service. I told them the brakes were shuddering and rattling. The service person just blew it off said keep driving it will go away. They are supposed to check brake pads and a few other things according to the manual. They signed off on everything and but didn't because the brakes were still shuddering and rattling. They did not even make a note of my complaint.I went back on 9/16/15 for the 20k service and oil change. Same story. This time I insisted they fix the brakes. So they fixed the shuddering but never checked the brake pads even though it is listed for the 20k mile service. I went back on 9/30/15 and insisted they check the rattling. They finally looked at the brake pads and said that the left rear brake pad was completely worn down and wanted $945 to replace rotor, calliper and pad even though it is their lying and negligence that caused the damage.I have owned Toyotas, Infinitys and Nissans and have always been able to trust the dealers. Which is why I paid more to have the dealer do the maintenance rather than other shops. But Lithia Honda is just ridiculously inefficient and dishonest. Every service person I talk to promises to do a better job each time but they never do. Don't EVER trust these guys. All shysters and thieves that take no accountability for their actions

At first they would not offer the car except for full sticker price. I had showed them an internet add from another dealer at a lower price and asked them if they would honor that price. They did but reluctantly. A deposit was made at that time. When the car arrived we were called and asked to complete the sale. In the mean time they again advertised the car at a lower price than previously agreed to and (I think) would have sold it out from under us. That left a sour taste with us because of the ethics of the dealership.

Overall service was good. Hadn't been to the new location.I did miss not having my vehicle cleaned inside and out. I've heard that other near by dealer will provide this service.It would be helpful if the hours and days were the same on The Service Reminder and what's on the website. Also when you call inquiring about having your vehicle serviced, the person needs to slow down when he answers. You kind of feel like you're a bother.

I went to this Honda dealer to obtain a copy of a key for our 2012, CRV. I explained that we were unable to get the key made at any local servicers (Lowes, Home Depot) as the key had a transponder and was told to take the key to a Honda dealer. I told the Honda rep that I did not need the transponder, just the key to put in a box under the car in a magnetized box for emergencies. The gentleman returned shortly and gave me the total cost, $151. I was shocked to say the least and repeated that I only wanted a key, and again clarified that I had no need of a transponder as the key was for emergency situations. The employee next to himhe appeared to be either a manager or someone senior in the departmentsaid something to the effect of Since youve already cut it, give him this one which I took to mean they would offer me a key which would open the door, start the ignition, but not have keyless entry. This would have been acceptable to me even at the exorbitant cost of $35. However, he then said to me they could sell me the key as a "valet key" for $35 which could open the door but was useless other than that. I explained that I didn't want to pay $35 simply for a door key. I asked the younger employee if he understood what I meant and he nodded as if he did but when I asked the other, more senior employee if he understood what I was saying, I made a point of asking as he continued to stare at me and seemed annoyed that I was even asking.While he appeared to understand my question, at no point did he simply say that Honda no longer offers traditional, car keys; if he had simply explained that Honda had transitioned to keyless fobs or transponders rather than acting stiff and condescending, I would be directing my complaint to Honda Inc., for their short-sighted choice to fleece their customers by charging an insulting amount of money and no other alternative to gain entry into a car we already own. When I stated I felt as if Honda was charging people an absurd amount of money for a piece of plastic, a small piece of metalwhich is now apparently worthlessand the 45 seconds it takes to program the fob the senior employee stated "I challenge you to check online for yourself; youll see that Toyota charges more than Honda does." I replied that it sounded like he was saying "Honda may be ripping you off but Toyota is worse! This, of course, does nothing to make a scammed customer feel better. We bought our CRV 3 years ago and in the interim, have had two recall notices, had to replace a battery after just under two years of use--which also cost at $150--and the one time we attempted to use the HondaCare Program for mapping assistance, were told that the service was not available at that time. I was told that it would be 3-4 hours and when I tried again, was given the same info. That service program is worthless, and apparently, so is the general servicing on any issue regarding your vehicle that doesn't cost at least $150! We bought this car thinking that Honda offered a better all-around vehicle than Toyota; my wife had doubts as she had a Toyota Rav4 that shed been very satisfied with. She listened to my advice about Honda as Id heard Honda vehicles kept their resale value, the companys reputation for long-lasting, reliable vehicles, and that HONDA STOOD BEHIND IT'S VEHICLES AND CUSTOMERS. Our service experiences alone have left us feeling that we were mistaken and we may be better served purchasing a Toyota for our next vehicle.Twenty-five years ago, many companies talked about providing excellent customer service and now that weve transitioned to a true, service economy, customer service is preached at every level of a companys food-chain. Some companies not only preach service, they deliver it on a consistent basis. Conversely, many companies do no more than give lip service to their commitment to customer service. While they may have provided high-level quality and service in the past, it seems Honda has now become one of those companies.

I had to take my vehicle in to replace the airbags due to the recall. I had been waiting for 3 months for the replacement airbags to come in. I had to call myself to see if the airbags had arrived. They did and no one bothered to call me to let me know. The lady who was helping me on the phone said that it would take two weeks to get my vehicle in to have the airbags replaced. I told her that was not going to work for me. I informed her that I had time at the end of the week to bring my car in. The lady sounded disgruntled by this but set up an appointment. Since the lady said this service would be an all day process I asked for a loaner vehicle. Again she sounded put out but said that there would be one available. The day that I brought my car in I had arrived before the dearlership had opened. They gave me the keys to the loaner vehicle and when I went to the car I was surprised to see that the interior was disgustingly dirty and hadn't been cleaned. There was dirt, hair and food particles all over the seats. There was grimy dirt in the door handles and the vehicle stunk. They also left insurance information, names, policy numbers and phone numbers in the vehicle of previous people that had used the car. When I went back in to let them know how dirty the vehicle was two service people just looked at me like "oh well, take it or leave it" One of the service people even acknowledged that they were aware the vehicle was dirty. They said that was the last loaner vehicle but they had given other people nicer loaner vehicles while I was waiting for my vehicle to be checked in. I was extremely disappointed in the service all around for this appointment. I bought my vehicle from this dealership and do routine oil changes with them. Most of the time I receive decent service but there has been a few other times that service was poor. This time they really dropped the ball, enough so for me to leave a review.

Steve, our sales guy was informative and never pressured us while shopping. He took time to help and give us space. This was important to us and when we presented price match, he helped us make our overall decision to go with Honda of Salem. He allowed us to test drive and look outside without pressure. This type of customer experience is important these days when there are so many options from internet.personally professional!

Outstanding service. No complain what's so ever. I believe Eric Bert was my service advisor. He impressed a heck out of me by advising my car needs tire rotation. If I wanted Honda to perform that task, it will cost $15 but Eric told me if I take it to where I bought tires, they might do it for a free which I did and I wasn't charged at all. I thank Eric for that. That's customer service at very best, I say..

I had to bring my Pilot in for a recall replacement of the air bag. I was told that the service would take about an hour. I made an appointment to come in and wait for my car. I arrived on time and the service was completed in under an hour, as promised. I obviously can't comment on the quality of the repair. The overall experience was completely favorable.

I want to personally thank Brandi DeAngelo of Salem Honda for helping me with my recent purchase of a used Mercedes C-Class! I originally began working with Brandi around a year ago as I was considering options for my next automobile purchase. While I was not in a hurry to make a purchase, I knew what I wanted to find and Brandi helped me look at options and opportunities at that time. During this past year, Brandi has contacted me on several occasions as something she thought would be of interest came into Salem Honda's inventory. While her suggestions were always appropriate and well received, they just didn't have my name on it. I was recently contacted again by Brandi when she told me that the car with my name on it was sitting on the lot and I had better hurry. When I arrived at the lot, I realized she wasn't kidding. While I didn't wake up that morning with the intention of purchasing a car, working as a financial advisor I know that when an opportunity comes up, I need to move. I spent the morning with Brandi test driving the car and discussing options. Brandi is great to work with and helped me clear my mind and think of the opportunity in front of me. She finally said, "Rob, when you're sitting in front of your clients with an attractive opportunity with low risk, how do you get them to not only recognize what is in front of them, but to pull the trigger and make the purchase...?". I smiled at Brandi and said "sold!" The purchase when through without a problem, I left with a smile on my face, and I'm still smiling today! You won't go wrong working with Brandi DeAngelo. I really appreciate the friendly and couteous staff that work at Honda of Salem. I also am very thankful that they are honest about the service I need done and what can wait to be done. Especially when concerning a future expensive service, they told me I could wait an extra 10,000 miles before it really needed to be done. The waiting area is a nice place to stay while service is being performed. The parts department helped me determine which windshield cover I needed to custom fit my year of CRV instead of just trying to sell me the one on the floor. This was my first visit to the new Honda of Salem.

Was just in for an oil change a week ago. Matt did a wonderful, polite, and professional job in getting my car in quickly. He invited me to have a cup of coffee at their state-of-the-art barista bar. I enjoy being able to watch the folks in the spotless repair shop work on my car. After only a short time, the oil change and tire rotation were finished and I was on my way. I am currently driving my 7th Honda over the last 30 years. ALL my Honda purchases have been through Honda of Salem! Can't beat the professionalism from Jeff in the sales department to MattIn the service center and all the many others!

Brandi Deangelo was both very helpful and personable with my husband and myself in purchasing our vehicle. We instantly felt very comfortable with her, from the first phone call making our appointment, until we drove our new vehicle off the parking lot. We were very impressed with her, first asking what we wanted in our vehicle, and going out of her way to make sure we received those options. My wife and I began to look at Honda Fits in early March. Stan Kucewicz greeted us and showed us the cars in which we were interested, including some pre-owned cars. He was very patient and helpful during our long deliberation and lengthy test drives. Stan was never pushy ant took the time to get to know what we needed/wanted. He helped me during a solo trip a few days later to drive Fits in different trim levels and explained the features of each very thoroughly. My wife and I returned a week later and Stan helped us purchase a new Milano Red Fit EX. He was very helpful throughout the entire process and demonstrated the basic set up of the fancy electronics before we drove away. Stan called to follow up a few days later to ensure we were satisfied and invited me to call with any further questions about the car. Overall, this was the best experience I've had with any car dealership. I look forward to utilizing their service department for maintenance.

We have had great service with repairs and oil changes. Charges were right on or slightly below estimates and the car was done on time usually earlier. Five stars.The sales department was a different story. My wife and I wanted to purchase an odyssey for our family including my in laws. We had limited time and explained this to the sales man. After 2 hrs they still had not given us a firm answer on our trade in or the price of the odyssey. We finally left to pick up the kids from school. I asked the sales man to call with the trade in value and a offer. We had other offers for $3500 dollars less but wanted to purchase local. We bought our previous 2 cars from this dealership but think we will be going else where.

The service was fast, the new shop is beautiful but the actual service was a little less than careful. I had my oil changed and when I returned to my car it still had the oil life message. I had to go back in and get the service person to show me how to reset my display. Then I went shopping and after coming out of the store my low tire light was on. I had to drive back to the dealer and let them know that prior to rotating my tires (their idea) it was fine. The service person stated that he had filled them but forgot to "reset" the gauge. This wasnt a big inconvenience to me since I had not gone far but I live about 7 miles from the dealership and had I gone home and this happened I would have been very unhappy. I think it would be best to slow down and do things right the first time instead of trying to be fast.

We came in because of a vehicle we saw posted online. We were greeted immediately by Jesus, who knew the car we had come to look at and took us there. He happily showed my wife and kids the waiting area and offered them refreshments, and then he and I went for a test drive. The experience was very positive. Jesus was very knowledgeable and offered to get the answer if he was unsure of a question. He was never pushy for the sale and his primary concern was making sure we got the car wanted/needed so we would be happy with the purchase. He was extremely courteous, and made the overall car buying experience a very positive one. Would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a vehicle.

I stopped by today to get help on a drop-in basis. I had my driver's airbag replaced 2 weeks ago. At that time, I had all the belts replaced on my 2003 Honda Civic. A few days ago one of the new belts developed a high pitch squeal sound when I used my defroster. I was worried when Salem Honda moved from downtown to the new Parkway location recently that the close personal service that I have been used to for 10+ years might change. On both of my recent visits, I was able to get in and out in no time. All the advisors and technicians were very helpful and did a great job of explaining what was happening with my Civic regarding my airbag replacement and fine tuning the noisy belt. Big, big improvement on the waiting area experience! New facility, but the attention to professional details and personal caring are still there. Thanks so much.

As a single mom with two teens my time is precious, I was able to contact her, tell her what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay without ever setting foot in the dealership. Matt has been there for several years now and has been a wonderful person from the time I call him to when I bring any of my vehicles in for service. If it were not for him and his wonderful customer service we may go elsewhere, he is always so helpful and pleasant.

Found they had a Touring CRV coming in...........I called the dealership, Matt took the call, kept in contact, we made the deposit............and the vehicle came in just as billed, and we bought it. All folks there, super nice, caring, and professional. The purchase of it was EZ, maybe 60 mins tops to go thru the whole process with them. Best part though, we live in Portland, so they drove up and picked us up, and took us down to Salem to get the CRV.............this is a dealership looking to sell cars and make the buyers feel good too. It's a great combo. We have additional accessories going on the CRV after about a week of ownership, so I am looking forward to seeing their new facilities down there, and our service advisors is spot on with the appt, phone calls, and customer service.

I had scheduled an appointment but when I arrived, the service department couldn't find that it had been scheduled. Still, staff were able to accommodate me and did so in a customer service oriented manner.

I have purchased my last 2 vehicles from Honda of Salem and take my vehicle there whenever it needs serviced. I have always been very pleased with how friendly the staff is and with the quality of service I receive. They do an excellent job and are very pleasant to work with.

What a joy working with Eli Gaspar. He made us feel comfortable from the start. The whole team worked really hard to get us more then a wonderful deal. Making it possible for us to drive off the lot in our new 2015 Honda Accord, something we only dreamed about when we walked in the showroom door. Thank you Eli for making it a wonderful day.

Matthew Rader did a super job of quoting a fair price, answering questions, following up w/o being pushy during my initial contact through internet. When we were ready to buy, we made the drive to Salem where Matt greeted us, took us for a test drive, and completed all of the financial details within a couple of hours. Soon, were were on our way back to Portland with our new Honda!

I came in late in the afternoon for an oil change and during the check-in process learned that my car was involved in a recall. The part was available and was installed in addition to the oil change in not much more time. Great dealership. I would definitely consider purchasing a car from them.

I found car I wanted to see new Civic EX-L on the Honda of Salem website, requested a quote. I got a phone call from Scott Jacobsen within 10 minutes. The car was waiting for me to test drive when I arrived. My entire buying experience with Scott was very pleasant.I would recommend Scott and Honda of Salem to everyone.My experience with the finance manager was equally pleasant and quick.I had my older Honda serviced at this dealership and am so impressed with the customer service and look forward to bringing my new car in for service.I can't think of a single negative comment (except the facility itself needs updating).

Excellent customer service - negotiation - trade in value. We now own 4 cars from this dealiership through it's history and do all of our service there! I have owned 5 Civics, 2 Odysseys, 2 Pilots and 1 CR-V. We plan to go back to Lithia when we need another in 2 years.

Took our used Honda Odyssey in for scheduled oil change and recall on fuel pump covetr replacement. Both were performed quickly but the fuel pump cover replacement left a strong fuel odor that didn't dissipate quickly. Dealer got me back in the next day & corrected the issue to my satisfaction.

Overall experience test driving the car and working with Pedro Marquez and Brandi DeAngelo went very well. They were knowledgeable and not pushy. Both of them were awesome. The buying process took a long time and we felt the cleaning of the car and gas could have happened while we were signing papers. Also, the person we met with for the financing was way too pushy with selling warranties. It really turned us off to buying a warranty.

Lithia 's Service Manager is very good. She made sure our Pilot oil change and Pilot transmission service was completed, and car was washed. I was pleased because the service work was completed in less that the book time. Thanks!

I received excellent customer service from Robert at the Service Desk when I brought my 2010 CRV in for an oil change on Thursday 9/18. I have ALWAYS received excellent Customer Service care from each one of the Customer Service Staff when I bring my vehicle to Honda of Salem. I feel however, that the Customer Service Center where the customer checks in is VERY UNSATISFACTORY. The space is very small and crowded and if there are more than two or three people waiting when all of the Customer Service Reps are already handling other customers it becomes very chaotic because staff personnel are coming and going through this area which causes the customers to shuffle back and forth trying to maintain a waiting line while staying out of the line of people traffic coming and going. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CHECK IN/OUT AREA DESPARATELY NEEDS TO BE REMODELED AND UPDATED AND RELOCATED IF NECESSARY. HONDA IS SUCH A HIGH CLASS AUTOMOBILE AND THIS SERVICE AREA DEFINITELY DOES NOT MATCH THAT LEVEL OF QUALITY.

Except for the recommendation to rotate my tires after only 1/32" difference in tread depth front-rear on tires that have less than 4000 miles of wear on them (unnecessary imo) it was, as usual, a 5-star service.

I want to thank and commend how awesome and helpful Steve Dedominick with our recent Honda CRV purchase. My whole family drove to Salem Honda from Brookings Or and met Steve randomly in the parking lot after office hours. He didn't hesitate to talk to us and answers our questions.The next day we went back and test drive our new car. We called to get some information about the vehicle we were looking for and Eli Gaspar helped us. After talking with him, we decided to visit the dealership to see the cars. He had many models and choices for us to look at, and very patiently helped us through all the questions. After a bad experience at another Honda dealer I emailed Salem Honda. They chatted on line and called me back immediately. They did not hesitate to offer a price match and made me an appointment to come in. I have to say, I have never met nicer car salesmen in my many years of going through what can be a horrible ordeal for women. From Eli my salesman, to Jeremy the manager, to Brandon the sweet finance guy, they were all terrific. They not only matched the price I brought in from another dealer they even agreed to my request to discount an accessory I wanted. The whole process was easy, stress free and enjoyable. Did I really just say that? They helped me find all the documents I needed and Eli even sat in the car with me explaining all the cool devices like Bluetooth, mp3, navigation, heated heats, auto lights etc. The dealership closed but he stayed in the car until I knew how to make a call and program my GPS. He was above nice in my book. They all were. I feel very fortunate to have a dealership that has people I now consider friends. If you want to be well taken care of, get a great deal and feel special then I highly recommend this dealership.

I have had rather unpleasant experiences at car dealerships in the past, but this was the exact opposite. Friendly service, upfront and truthful advice, and genuine down to earth conversation all made this experience the best one I have had to date. Both Matt and Mike were tremendous, and I absolutely plan on coming back for a future vehicle one day. I will be recommending their services to anyone I know that needs a vehicle. Thank you again!

Second new car I have purchased here. Jeff takes the extra time to make sure all questions are answered and he is easily contacted via texting which is super important with my very busy schedule. All new car prices and trade values line up with industry standards and KBB so I dont feel like I have to do battle to get a fair shake. Dealership is also willing to work with creative incentives to close the deal which makes buying here and working with Jeff a win win every time. Thanks so much!

I came to Honda of Salem after a horrific experience with Skyline Ford. I really didn't want to feel pressured into purchasing a vehicle, let alone the wrong one. Brandi was professional, informative and easy going. I came back to Honda the following day, had the vehicle checked out by my mechanic and bought it! They've won me over as a long term customer and I will always recommend Honda of Salem!

Would I recommend Randy Galvin as a Sales Representative, definitely YES!!! He is the most honest, polite, non-pushy, decent and fair sales representative in the entire dealership. He deserves a position in the company as Sales Manager or higher. He is smart, funny, and just an all-around nice guy. Hats off to Randy! If you want the best experience at Honda of Salem, ask for Randy Galvin! He was kind, courteous, hard-working, and straightforward with me about the new cars and my used car.

Brandi has that perfect combination of professionalism and great personality that puts people at ease and makes something like buying a car much more fun.I felt confident in the process because Brandi is incredibly knowledgeable and efficient, and I appreciated the way she quickly and easily walked me through every step, and made this car purchase way easier than I ever could have imagined. The whole experience from when we first arrived until we drove away with our new car was absolutely great. Our questions were completely answered, Pedro listened to exactly what we were looking for and found us a great SUV. We were very pleased with Mike's ability to "work magic" in the finance department. I came to Honda of Salem with no intentions of buying a car. I am a college student and I was trying to figure how much a car would cost and how to fit into my budget. Brandi was the salesperson available and when I explained the situation I was in she was totally understanding. At no point did I feel pressured to buy a car or feel like I was an inconvenience to her. She walked me through what was important to look at when trying to find the perfect car. I left that night after about an hour and a half of talking. A few days later, after looking at other dealerships, I returned to Brandi and she excitedly approached me saying that they just an amazing car perfect for what I was looking for. She was going to call me later that day and had it in the back waiting. After talking about payment options and test driving I left with a 1998 Honda Accord. My first car and I love it! If you are wanting to have someone looking out for your best interests Brandi is the Best by far! Thanks so much for your help!

I have been searching for a car for a few months and I wasn't finding what I was looking for in the price that I wanted. I had an extra hour and decided to stop by the Honda of Salem. I described what I was looking for for the price that I wanted. Amazingly enough she showed me 2 cars and I left in one of them. She is Super helpful, a great listener, and knows her cars! If anyone is needing a car Brandi is the one to go to!!!!

We were in the market for a Honda Odyssey and went to the Honda dealership down the street. Brandi greeted us at the stairs after we scoped out the Odyssey we liked. Brandi was friendly, professional and full of information about the van. If she didn't have the answer she was quick to find it. After a test drive we started to talk numbers, when I spotted the Civic Si on the show room floor. She quickly got numbers for the Odyssey and the Civic and we walked out of their with two cars and a great deal. It was all a pleasant, no bull experience. We would recommend Brandi for all car purchases.

Tony was AWESOME! He had a list of cars to show me before I even showed up to the dealership. I was fairly certain as to what I wanted, and he made the process quick and easy. He took the time to listen to what was important to me, and he was very knowledgeable about the cars available to me. Tony was friendly and easy to talk to. I left with a 2012 Civic that I am completely in LOVE with, and I could not be happier with my decision to go to Honda of Salem.

My sales person was awesome. Ask for Brandi!! I hate buying cars and the dealership game. Don't believe them when they say they are selling for less then they paid for it. That is never true. They all say it and if that were really the case they wouldn't be able to stay in biz very long. That being said my Civic was aggressively priced and they gave a little (barely). If it had been a manual transmission I would stayed all night till I got the price I wanted, but I love the car and will go back for more!!

The Sales Team I dealt with at Honda of Salem, were the best I've had the pleasure to work with. Especially Brandi, the sales lady. She was well informed, upfront with everything. Brandi was also up to date on the car / cars I was looking to buy. However all the team members were very willing to help, no matter what questions I had, from financing, warranties, maintenance etc. I have worked with team in other dealerships, but not like Brandi team. I've been to several car dealers in the past couple of months and was pleasantly surprised by my experience at Honda of Salem. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and reassuring. At several other dealers, the sales reps were so sleazy that I didn't even want to shake hands with them. The guys at Honda of Salem just seemed like men doing their jobs--which involves salesmanship but not too heavy handed and definitely pleasant about it. I just but a used Honda Accord from the dealership on Saturday. I went there on a very limited budget and the sales lady that helped me worked at finding exactly what I needed at the price I could afford. Her name is Brandi and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a new or used Honda. She sold me what I could afford and I have no buyers remorse. Thanks

My complaint is that they would not accept a credit card. I do not carry a checkbook or cash with me for an expense like this; I always use a credit card for all my purchases. However, Matt Perry, general manager, did allow me to put $10,000 on my credit card as an exception on a $18927 charge, so I sent a check for the balance the next day.

I am extremely pleased with my experience at Honda of Salem. I went in on a Sunday to look at Honda Accords. Brandi Deangelo met me right away and showed me a few cars that she thought I would like. The first Accord she showed me was the Accord Sport model - I took it for a test drive and fell in love with the car! I came back a few days later with my car to trade in and bought the Accord.
