Great experience all around. From my appt mess up to fixing the issues competently and completely without adding any extra things to fix we were very happy with staff and techs. Al was great and informative as we're the two receptionists helping me over the phone. Only downside at all if I'm picky was air conditioning on full blast when I started truck and almost zero gas in tank. All in all good experience and definitely will be back.

The Service Advisor gave me valuable advice concerning my vehicle. He took the time and answered my questions and showed me how to maximize the use of my AC in this hot weather. Although my car is an 07, I have always and will continue to take it to Ford for service.

I used the service department. Al Cusano is the best. I work next to a dealership with a service department but I go across town to Bowditch because I know Al is concerned about my safety more than making money off of me, and when he says I need something worked on or replaced that I really do need it. The shuttle drivers are great and took great care of me -- even coming to get me after he was officially off work! The new shuttle vehicles are top-of-the-line and the best I've ever ridden in. I'm sure once I tell Al it won't happen again.The only negative item I have from this visit is that unlike all of my previous visits, the interior of my car was returned to me with greasy/dirty finger prints all over my driver's side door and on my steering wheel. I was able to get it off but I was surprised because that has never happened before.

The quality of work was done very well and exactly as I had specified. Unfortunately, when I left my car in your care, a worker drove my car through a pothole in the parking lot at your facility and flattened my tire. Reasonable accommodations were made for a new tire, but then my vehicle was further delayed as my detailing was held up due to the time it took for the tire to come in. The delays were a nuisance despite the quality of service.

I brought my 2011 Ford Fusion for a State Inspection. I felt bad because I came in around 3pm, and I know by then most Dealerships are packed or just too busy. Mr. Ken Nelson (my Service Dept. Rep.) was very welcoming and said "No problem". He also mentioned it may take a little while because I also had a recall issue that had to be resolved as well. I could NOT believe my car was inspected, recalled fixed and ready to go home by 4:40pm! That was Great! I appreciated the quick and friendly service from Mr. Ken Nelson and Bowditch Ford. Thank you. I only have Mondays off so I HAD to get my car looked at on the 11th. After a few setbacks and problems getting to my appointment for my annual State Inspection, Ken still managed to get me into the shop. Thank God, since my tire pressure light came on as I turned in. I found out that I had a nail in my tire. My tire was repaired, my Inspection was done and I was on my way in less than an hour. I refuse to have my work done anywhere else. I am loyal to Bowditch and they even do all the work on my husband's non Ford.

A truly exceptional experience with the entire service staff!! Ken Nelson met me in the lane and was very professional, and very friendly. My 2010 Ford Fusion was in for a recall. I had some questions and the technician, Jesse, came out and explained everything and eased my mind. These two made my experience so much better than expected! Made an appointment for service. Arrived early, was serviced early and was able to leave earlier than expected. Had a problem with the shift boot told Al the service rep about it when I first arrived. The dealership noted it was a problem. Special ordered the shift boot assembly. I am waiting the repair part and the call for them to fix it. I have never had a problem with Bowditch work ethic or personnel. Great team to represent Ford Motor Company.

I brought my 2015 F250 in because my husband thought something was leaking under the engine area. I dropped it off the night before. The staff at the information desk were very pleasant and helpful. I brought by Ford Truck in for service, the electronic engine cooling fan was running at high speed most of the time. It was worked on for several hours trying to duplicate the problem. The mechanic tested various components using the computer and was not finding a solution. He discovered the antifreeze level was very low and filled the radiator to the correct level. He looked for leaks and never found one. This was a good mystery and he resolved the problem. The fan has not come on since it was worked on and I still have no leaks.

Everyone was extremely helpful in the service department. As soon as I entered the facility, I was greeted by the assistant manager of the service department and quickly checked in. Then, they assisted me with the shuttle service to make sure I got to work on time. Everyone there was very courteous from beginning to end, and genuinely wanted to make my experience a good one. I went for an oil change and my tires rotated I ended up having to buy a tire which is not what I had planned to do however due to where the nail was a patch would not have worked so instead of a 20 service my bill was over $100 dollars.

Whatever you do, do not buy a vehicle from Bowditch. We are extremely disappointed in the outcome of the service through them. They think they have done all that they could to make us happy, however, they have not. They are rude and completely unprofessional. When I spoke with a manager today, about the fact that they sold us a piece of junk, the manager said, "We did not stick a gun up to your head and make you purchase this vehicle." That was extremely rude and unprofessional. I spent tons of money on a warranty, and there is STILL issues with the car. Unluckily for me, I purchased the "best warranty I could buy." (WHAT A JOKE). Now, I'm stuck in a piece of crap vehicle with a $25k loan, with loads of negative equity. They told me when buying this car that I could "refinance". Well, we brought up our credit score, but now can NOT refinance because of the "negative equity." We had not bought with a big dealership prior to this, and we trusted them. Even one of their own employees stated that they should not have sold us that truck. They act us though they have done so much, by fixing some of the problems....however, those problems are covered UNDER MY WARRANTY THAT I PAID FOR So they certainly did not go above and beyond. I have never felt like such a bother to a company, EVER. I highly doubt, even though I have a warranty, the new issues that were pointed out to me today will get fixed. I've yet to hear from the actual person in charge over their either. They all just get on the phone with the GM and he relays messages. Not sure who that person is. And, I am sorry to Lauren, that I have to write this review, because she is the only person who cared at all to help us out over there....HOWEVER, There are many other places to buy a vehicle from. Save your self the headache, heartache, and MONEY!

This is my first experience with Bowditch Ford. Everything looks well done ... the only exception is the license plate molding on the front (just discovered because it looked cock-eyed). Apparently the screws are stripped through the backing and I will fix it this weekend. Getting and maintaining a good reputation for excellent service will always be based on your attention to detail and doing the right thing. I purchased a 2016 Explorer great smooth ride ,comfort is great a few scratches and paint chips that have to be delt with right front passenger wiper bladeneeds to be replaced it does not clean the windshield very well,waiting call from shop ,sales persson was excelent. The prep of the explorer needs improvement all windows were smeared like they were cleaned with dirty rag or bad paper towel.Repairs not done yet,

Al Cusiano has always done everything he could to schedule, and ensure my vehicles have been serviced to my complete satisfaction.Only thing I've noticed is an increase in your pricing which being retired and on a fixed income will force me to reduce my visits to Bowditch.Also notice when visiting the other day and increase in the "Processing" fee in new vehicle purchases. I have purchased my last three F-150's from Bowditch Ford without visiting other dealers. When I shop for that new truck next year I will be competitively checking out several dealers.

Shortly before I was due to pick up my vehicle (which was almost seven days late due to an issue with a part being shipped on time), the car suffered damage due to negligence during the detailing process. I was called by the shop manager, I cannot remember his name but he was an older gentleman. He apologized to me and told me the parts were already on their way; then assured the associate responsible for the damage was fired from the company. The next day I was shown around my vehicle by Joey so I could see the damage by my own choice; and again apologized to. I was told my vehicle will be ready a second time by mid- to late next week. My rental car responsibility was then taken over from my insurance company to Bowditch. I was called on Wednesday evening at approximately 4:00PM and left a message that my car was ready and that I could pick it up. I did not get this message until about 6:40PM because I was at work and did not have my phone with me. The next morning I showed up around 9:45-10:00AM and was promptly shown my car. There was an issue with my insurance company not having sent a check for the repairs to Bowditch and was told I needed to pay Bowditch myself. It was clearly a miscommunication between Bowditch and Geico, but nonetheless another annoying thing I needed to deal with. After the issue with Geico was taken care of by myself, I was able to finally take my vehicle and leave. I respect the staff at Bowditch collision for taking care of this in a speedy manner and seemingly caring about my plight. And even though they fired the person who damaged my vehicle, I cannot say with absolute certainty I will recommend their business to anyone.

I bought my Ford Escape from them and immediately had to put $1500 worth of work into the engine. Being that it was a 2001, it didn't surprise me. A year later I bring it in for inspection and thy wanted another $1600 for work that didn't even need to be done. In fact, they were going to let me drive away with bad brake lines. The icing on the cake was that the manager gave me this whole speech about how since I was pregnant, he wanted to make sure my car was safe to drive. Yet he was going to allow me to be over charged for work that didn't need to be done and let his mechanics overlook a very unsafe problem with my brake lines.

I purchased a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium on January 2, 2016. I contacted a salesperson, Susie Perry, who was a friend of a friend and made an appointment for early Saturday morning. She spent most of the morning with me - not with playing around with numbers, but taking me on a test ride and sitting with me in the parking lot and going through the many features of this year's model. I'm glad she did. I was given a tour of the new Bowditch facility and made to feel like I was going to be part of the Bowditch family once I started bringing my car in for scheduled service. There absolutely were no hard sale techniques used - and I knew when I left there that SHE would not be happy if I wasn't happy. All in all a very good experience. This will be my fourth Ford Escape. I lost the last one I had in the divorce and couldn't wait to get a new one. I've always loved the space inside and the comfort and visibility of driving the Escape. This one is different as it is not a hybrid, but ecoboost seems to work as well (though not as silently). The feature with which I am most enamored is the remote start. I can't begin to describe how nice it is to enter a warmed up car with seat warmers on an icy winter morning.Thank you for a seamless and painless experience!

I took my car in for a clutch replacement on my 2013 Focus. I drove it away and my drives side front tie rod broke. Licky for me, I wad not going fast. I picked it up the next day and that part turned out to be defective also. Ken took care of me and my rental. In May, 2011, I had purchased new tires for my 2011 Fusion. My low Tire alarm had gone off after I had air put in one of the tires, so I had the service department check it out. Unfortunately there was a nail in the sidewall and the tire had to be replaced. Al of the servive department said I had a warranty on the tires, so I did not have to pay full cost. It was safe to drive so I came back the next day, when it was convenient for me, to have the tire replaced. The service department is always helpful, the new building is beautiful, and the new waiting room is comfortable. I'll keep coming back!

Eveyone was extremely helpful, except Linda(I believe her name was). She threatened me on multiple occasions. Telling me how the dealership put their neck on the line and I had better buy the car. At one point she had done it in front of another guy who was helping me. He told her that "I believe she understands that her credit is not perfect and what we have done to help her". I went in to the dealership to buy a car that I liked to be threatened to buy one or else.Again, everyone else was great and helpful except her. I hope that no one else will have to deal with that. I found it unacceptable and almost didn't come back to buy the car because of her.

Al Cusano was very helpful when it came to getting good tires but at the best possible price, This made the purchase somewhat affordable and he was sure that our needs were met when I voice my concern over the loud tires that we currently had. My only complaint is that this was a big purchase and I was not able to get credit in Ford's rewards program due to a change over in the program. It seems like these should somehow be retroactive.

My wife and I walked into Bowditch about 8 months ago, looking to trade in my Ford Explorer. As we sat down and talked with Susan Perry, she told us we were unable to afford the vehicle we wanted at that time. Susan advised us that while I was deployed over the summer, to pay off the credit cards and worked to raise our credit. Fast forward to mid-October, my wife goes back to Susan Perry, and we could afford a brand new Ford F-150. She helped us from the very beginning, and continued to even after the sale was final. I was very surprised about my recent dealership experience the dealership had both phone and computer issues while I was in customer service hopefully that does not occur often. I brought my vehicle in for one door latch issue and all the doors were serviced and the latches were replaced at the cost of the dealership. I thought I would have to pay for one door but since I was never called back for authorization my assumption is that the dealership fixed the problem due to the failure of the latches themselves. An overwhelming experience. I look forward to the new dealership's location in the near furture.

Al Cusano and his team did a great job, as usual, diagnosing my vehicles problem and getting me on the road again. My son's vehicle had a temporary fix done to the intake manifold at another repair shop but Bowditch quickly got the right part and repaired it properly. They also referred me to a local muffler shop for catalytic converter replacement in order to keep my total costs under control. Also, the drivers were prompt and got me to and from work when I needed it. Thanks again!

I had made an appointment for 1:00 PM. My car finally was taken to the service dept at about 2:00 PM. I was expecting about an hour at the service dept, but it was after 3:00 PM when I finally left the dealership. This was a State Inspection and Oil change.

My arrival was met with a cheerful sales rep(Henry), I explained what I was looking for and Henry was very attentive. I explained that I wasn't looking for a lot of "bells and whistles", Henry understood my need and took the time to explained the advantages to some bells but never pressed or try to sell me something I didn't want. I came back a few times before a decision was made and I was surprised that not only Henry but it seemed the entire sales staff knew my name and greeted me as I came in the building. Your sales partners set up was reassuring, when Henry was off Frank was there to answer my questions & assist. The customer service was amazing hands down! Linda and her team did what other dealerships couldnt do. We have a 2004 Ford 350 diesel pickup. Visiting here from Michigan and we get to our destination and the truck won't start. Our son mentioned Bowditch Ford so we had it towed over there. Lauren took good care of us and kept us up to date on the progress of our truck. Thank goodness they were able to get us up and running by the next day. Excellent customer service.

When I came to Bowditch Ford, I wasn't expecting to go home with a new car. I had never had a Ford vehicle before but was on a tight budget and my old car wasn't going to make my move to Orlando--which was happening in three days. As a recent college graduate, I was on a tight budget. The team at Bowditch was incredibly welcoming and helpful. They answered all of my questions I had about owning a Ford and caring for it. Made an appointment for oil change and tire rotation the day before. Came in ten minutes before they took the car. Nancy and I asked to look at a new Escape and the showman explained all the features. in 40 mins the car was ready to be picked up. The maintenance manager gave us a clean check up with a tire report for (2008 tires)need to be looked at in the coming year.

As always, I can rely on Al Cusano to make sure my car is properly serviced, and to get me a service appointment on short notice! While my car was in service for an oil change and safety check for upcoming road-trip, I was able to talk with Susie Perry, my long-time sales professional, about which model Ford vehicle would be best for me needs. To be able to have this planing discussion with Susie, while Al was having my car serviced, was wonderful. Everything was completed timely and well. On my long drive home to Gloucester, my tire sensor "low pressure" light came on - I hung a U-turn, called Al and told him I was headed back to Bowditch service. I had picked up a nail in a construction zone! Even as the service department was closing, Al made sure my tire was repaired and I was safe to go on my trip. Kudos to Bowditch Ford for having such great people as Al Cusano and Susie Perry. That's why I've been coming back for more than 6 Ford SUV's in over 15 years - and planning for my next Ford. Thanks - you saved my road trip!

had oil change and wanted them to check backup camera that stayed on too long plus a driver side window for squealing when opening and closing. The window needed a new regulator so they had to keep my car overnight. They gave me a rental car but made me pay for gas and I live 35 miles away. Just feel if a dealer wants to keep your car overnight they need to pay all expenses!

I brought my 2011 Taurus in for a recall of the door handles. The car was checked out and one door handle had to be replaced. The part was ordered and installed. After returning home I noticed that the insert around the handle did not match the rest of the interior color. I brought the car back and pointed the problem out and a new handle was ordered. After the new handle came in it was installed and everything is back to normal.

As a Pastor, I was introduced to John C (now finance), years ago while attending a workshop with members from my ministry held by Bowditch on credit and how to obtain a vehicle after bankruptcy. That lead to my bringing or sending my church members to Bowditch. Each one came away with owning a new car, or purchasing a used one depending on their finances and ability to pay. After no one was ever turned away it certainly let me know how much they cared with helping people get back on their feet after situations that had got them down. Members of my ministry are victims of abuse. Mostly women with children that due to abuse have started life over with nothing. That lead to me purchasing a car too. I loved the Fusion and purchased two. Now we have moved up to the Taurus. Best car yet!!! No matter what I drive, it will be from Bowditch Ford!!!! Can't say enough great things about them. I went to their location on J. Clyde Morris when my Ford Fusion began to make a creaking noise from the front-end. I read online that the problem might be a lower control arm bushing, so I told the service writer that may be the problem; but I asked to have it checked out.He told me I needed new struts and estimated the cost to be $1,100 (approximately) and charged me for the diagnosis. I went to another place to get a second estimate. That shop estimated the work at $600. I had the work done, but the noise continued. I asked the second shop to investigate the noise and - without charging me - told me it was the lower control arm bushing.So, not only did Bowditch try to gouge me on the repair price, but they also screwed me on the diagnosis!I will never go there again and have passed along these sentiments to everyone I know.

I loved the work they did to repair and restore my baby (2004 Ford Mustang 40th Anniversary Addition) back to her beauty after being damaged in transit from Vegas to Newport News (she was so badly damaged she needed a complete new paint job and body work). I have had my Explorer Sport for a year, so it was time for a well-car checkup (and inspection). Scheduling the visit couldn't be simpler and once I arrived, they were fast and courteous. Some of the tasks were routine, oil, tires, inspection. I had to have a fog light fixed, it was hit by a rock. Also I had some concerns with the electrical system. I was pretty sure it was circumstances (not driving 2 weeks in the dead of winter), and their diagnostic testing verified that there were no unanticipated drains on the system while off. Quick, Fast, Efficient. What is there not to like?

My vehicle sat on the lot three weeks because they said they couldn't find my contact info, they had my name and I live two miles from them. Then when they installed the factory bed cargo lock it has never worked! I finally took it apart myself and fixed it. They had two of the bolts in the wrong location causing the spring loaded lock to snag! Poor Service for me all around!!!

Our salesman Khalaf (Ben) met us at the door, professionally walked us through the purchasing of the vehicle and conducted himself in a very business-like manner. He, at our request, gave us a test drive and demonstrated the vehicle's standard options. We were introduced to the service manager and other staff who also treated us very professionally. The service manager explained some of the services that would be available. After a bad experience at another Ford dealership that sold us a car and then tried to do a bait and switch after we thought we purchased. They took it had to another dealership. I called Susan Perry on Thursday, February 27th and asked her for her best price on a Ford Focus, SE. She asked me about colors inside and outside and I told her what my wife liked. I asked if she could call me back with what she had available. She promptly called me back within an hour with availability and a very good price. On the way home on the 27th, I stopped by the Williamsburg Ford dealership and they were able to beat Susan's price by $300. I called Susan on Friday morning the 28th around 10:00am and asked if she could get me a better deal. She called back in less than an hour and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I drove down to the dealership at noon and was driving my new car by 1:00pm.I would highly recommend Susan and Bowditch Ford.....Susan realizes that peoples time is valuable and I loved her no nonsense approach to making a deal.

RE: I was contacted by Mr. Shoemaker concerned about the complaint I had. When I met up with him he assured me they would correct the problem and handle everything very professionally. While they had to car they contacted me with updates and how far they had progressed. Mr. Shoemaker went well beyond the call of duty when it came to handle this problem and so did the service tech who did the work. Everything he agreed to take care of they did plus some. I was lied to about the work and damage was done to the body. I took it in for the driver side door hinge to be replaced. Ben informed me the driver side finder needed adjusting also. I asked him what would that cost and he said it was already built into the est. I said ok. On Wednesday the following week I stopped by and asked them were they going to be able to finish it and was informed yes. That evening around four thirty or five I was told they were just bring it in to work on. So much for that.The next day around one or so I was contacted and told it was all ready. Upon looking at it I noticed the fender was never touched or adjusted and had to listen to more excuses. When I arrived at home the next day I decided to wash it. I noticed that paint was chipped off on the passenger side of the car and they had run over something that scratched the lower half of the car. I missed that when I picked it up. But I showed Ben that there were only three areas that had scratches and rubs on the new paint job. I also noticed I now have a door ding on the drivers side door. When I picked it up it was parked close to other cars. One was a total wreck and the other was junk. That l gave me a warm feeling all over. As far as I am concerned I should have taken pictures of the car all the way around it and also got everything they agreed to do in black and white. But in this day and time you shouldn't have to do this for a simple repair. The car sits kind of low to the ground and if you notice when you leave their lot and enter RT 17 there is a large dip with loads of marks where cars have rubbed across the drive way. I didn't go that way but went the other way on the side road . They either damaged it entering RT 17 or in there shop.

I visited Bowditch the other day to buy my first car. The very first place i visited was a Hyundai dealership in Williamsburg, couldn't of had a worse experience. The deanship at Hyundai didn't even act like i existed even though I was the one paying for the car. It took 20 min for them to even greet my father and I. Then i was told they didn't have the car I was looking for. He instead showed me a car i didn't like and tried to push it on me. He then told me if i want the price lowered I would be waisting my time. I was ready to go. He then tried to offer a cheaper used car with a sun roof. Both of those things I made clear I didn't want. He then followed by a smart xxx remark and I have had it and left. We then went straight to Bowditch Ford, recommended by my best friend who had just bought a car from there the week before. We were greeted the second we got out of my car. They did not waist my time showing me cars I was not interested in. A man named Joe was my salesmen and Casey was also helping us.They were nothing but pleasant. The whole staff was talking to us and was so kind. We were offered a drink of our choice while we waited for the paper work. The staff showed me that my opinion mattered because I was the one paying for my car not my father, who was just there to help me. They found me the perfect car and gave me and amazing price on it. Being a college student it helped so much for them to get the car payments down to what I can afford. I was able to take my new car home that night. They asked me to bring it back the next day so it can be cleaned and they also taught me how to use the controls on the inside. They were very helpful and patient with my questions. I couldn't of asked anything more. I love my new car and i will never go anywhere else. Bowditch will be recommended to every person i know.

I came to this dealership to look at a used Ford Escape. I called in first to get some number and spoke to a very nice girl on the phone who set me up with an appointment. When I arrived at the dealership, I worked with Henry and he really helped me out! He spent a couple hours with me, while I made my decision on whether I wanted to purchase the vehicle or not.

When it was done my service advisor explained to me that everything went fine with my oil change and tire rotation. I was treated very well by the cashier who took my payment an a quick and efficient manner.

My wife and I visted here to try and trade in our vehicle for a Focus. The salesman was for the most part fine although it took most of last week to try and put a deal together. The problem we owe about 5k more than our car is worth and our credit isn't great. Long story short,whenever they say we'll have to give you a call tommorrow, they never do, this is what burns my ... It's mainly the managers that don't give a you know what, why should they waste their time with us when they can make a sale off of the next person and put less work into it. I finally had to send the general manager,Casey an email and let him know what I thought. He was decent enough to get in touch with me. All of these dealerships are alike in my opinion. They pay for these big advertising campaigns to get people into their dealers but in the end they all do business the same. Most of them are all in bed with the banks anyway. It's nice to know everyday is a new day and new oppritunity to get our new car.

3 Month old F150 with a dead battery three times. I hoped to be able to wait on it while serviced but was told by AL that this was not possible. I live 23 miles away and it is inconvenient to schlep back and forth with another driver on short notice.They replaced a defective battery in warranty, and everything seems better.

I purchased my vehicle from Bowditch in 2004 and have been getting it serviced there since. Very friendly department. Al is great. He recomends what needs to be done and what can wait. My overall experience with Bowditch has been great. Thanks.

I bought a new 2011 Fusion from Mr. Truman and I have had this same vehicle serviced at Bowditch Ford for 3 oil changes with 1-tire rotation. At my age, I can pretty much handle a simple oil change but because I was soo impressed with the first visit at the Bowditch Service center, I actually look foward to my next visit! The oil change they provide has an impressive check-list that they do, they changed the oil, oil- filter and their checklist all within a 45 minute timeframe! while I waited they provide fresh coffee mess, the waiting room is always clean and welcoming. All I have to do is sit and relax on their nice sofa set! Their cashiers/receptionist are very friendly and professional, what more can i say? Customer Service is so hard to find these days and because I feel like I am family their, its worth every penny. I am very satisfied with each visit and I even recommend to my "Chevy" Friends to stop by there for a visit. I am very happy I have found a dealership like Bowditch Ford.Thank You. Robert Carrales

The response time I received when I arrived was excellent. Perry had me signed in and out the door so fast; I was truly amazed. The attitude of Perry and also the other co-workers is reason enough to keep using Bowditch for my service requirements. Even the friendly service at the checkout counter is definately worth mentioning. Upon arriving, the enthusiasm and professionbal attitude of the staff was quite evident. The explanation of the various offerings was thorough as was the short training session inside the vehicle. The degree of professionalism is unsurpassed in both vehicle sales and service. My 2009 Ford Escape is the perfect vehicle for my family. Al Cusano and the Blue Team service identified a potential major problem (battery) and were able to repair the problem under my warranty. The Bowditch shuttle driver (Bob Pickrell) drove me to work and gave me his card with cell number to call for a ride back when my vehicle was ready for pick-up.I purchased my 2009 Ford Escape on December 18, 2008 from Dennis Cozzens and Susie Perry. I have recommended the dealership to several other individuals which have purchased Fords also. When I decide to trade, I will return to Bowditch for my next purchase.This dealership is very responsive to its customers, whether they are male or female. That speaks volumnes!!!!

I called expressing an interest in my wife and I test driving a 2012 Focus after stopping by a couple of weeks earlier for a look at what you had on the lot. David got us in promptly and gave us the test drive. We were impressed with both the car and his knowledge of the vehicle. We detest pushy saleman, so talking to David was a refreshing change from other dealerships we had visited recently. He listened to what we both had to say and what we were looking for in the car. We initially were thinking of buying the "S" Model, and although you had none like that on the lot, he did a search for us to try to locate one. After some discussion between us three, we decided to look at an "SE" model that was available. We liked the upgraded features that this model had, and after some more friendly discussion we decided to try to make a deal on that car. Of course I wanted to get the car at the best price possible, but I also understand that you weren't going to give it away. David cut to the chase and showed us what I consider a fairly good deal without a lot of posturing, which I liked. Of course I would have liked to pay less, but I felt the deal was good for both you guys and us. We then dealt with Mike on the financing options, and he was both knowledgable and friendly. My credit is somewhere in the mid range because of past problems that were not exactly my fault (ex-wife), but I think he got us a decent deal on the financing. I didn't really say anything, but was a little disappointed that Ford Credit didn't take me, as I have bought three cars in the past and paid them all off, although it has been quite a few years since those loans. David contacted our insurance co. after Mike got us straight with registration and tags. The car was prepped for us and David put on our plates, gave my wife a lesson on the Sync system, and reiterated that if we have any questions or problems to not hesitate to contact him. Overall, I was very impressed with the whole experience of a situation that I had actually been dreading, that is, the actual purchase process. I would most definately recommend you guys to other people, and would give you first shot when I am in the market for another vehicle. Again, David and everybody I dealt with there werew excellent, and I hope to have the same experience with your service department.

Overall I have been satisfied with all the services performed for both of our cars for several years now. I'm not a car person, so with any work I'm always very suspicious when it comes to work that is recommended that "needs to be done". The reason for the 3 in customer service is that when I asked for a price I'm always quoted a price that is "around this or that price." The only time I was quoted an exact price was when I bought my tires this past year. The only thing I can recommend is that if you have a customer rewards card, is that you check for coupons on the internet. I was quoted by two different people that a brake service would run anywhere from $250-$300, and that there was a $50.00 mail-in rebate. Turned out that when I checked for coupons on-line that Bowditch offered a brake service for $179.99 and I still got my $50 rebate though Ford. Now since they know I'm a regular customer and they must be aware of these on-line coupons. That's the reason why I always have the feeling that I'm being taken for my money, most of the time there is a better deal with a coupon, but they don't always notify you. If I wouldn't have checked myself, I would have overpaid at least by $100 for the same service. For the rest keep up the good work and overall I'm a satisfied customer.

This is my second unsatisfactory experience. The first one occurred when I asked for a tire rotation. Service stated they performed the rotation and charged for it, when they did not. When I pointed it out they, they made up an excuse then did it. This last visit, they were unable to find the problem I went in for. Also, I asked for an oil change- they said they did it. But my Truck's system check states that the oil is currently at 40 percent.

I have been using Bowditch Ford for the last several years for service of 4 different vehicles and I have found that they are responsive and sincerely seem to want your business. I have never walked away from a service experience and wondered if I had been had. The dealer ship is where my son bought his current and first car from and the sales department worked hard for him as well.

I purchased a new vehicle from this dealer. All went well until I noticed a simple spelling error on the DMV title and registration. Dealer referred me to the DMV - who referred me back to the dealer and round and round. After 3 hours of phone calls I gave up and went to the DMV, paid $12, and had the name corrected. The DMV ladies told me that I shouldn't have to pay and the dealer should have fixed it - but at this point I just wanted it fixed so I paid. I don't mind a mistake, but failure to fix it is unsatisfactory.Note: I'm ammending this review and increasing some of the scores. After it was posted, the dealer contacted me and sent me a check refunding the $12 I spent at the DMV.

I have been a customer at Bowditch Ford for many years, and always receive great service through their employees. Recently I ordered a new Ford Mustang through Bowditch Ford, and Walter Holmes helped me though the whole process of picking out each option I might want on my vehicle. Walter was very helpful explaining the new features of the car, and I got my car within the specified time frame they initially estimated for me. Casey and Walter gave me a great price on the new vehicle as well. The service department always takes good car of my vehicles, and are friendly. Al Cusano takes car of everything when I walk into the service department, and is friendly to work with. If I have an issue with a vehicle they take care of it the first time I bring it in to service.

The mechanic that worked on my car was very rude to me before I even got to say hello. He wouldn't answer any of my questions about what he did to my car and made me feel very uncomfortable and as though I was being blamed for the issue. Although the issue was resolved it was not necessary for him to talk down on me. I would not reccommend this to anyone.

I wasn't planning on buying a new car Monday but when I brought my Mustang in to be serviced, the cost of repairs didn't seem feasible or reasonable (needed a new transmission) to justify repairing the car. I had been looking over the past 6 months at smaller sized SUV's to trade. I guess I realized that morning that that would be the day I needed to buy a new car. I always trust Al's opinion and suggestions on repairs and cars. I bought my Mustang from Don 5 years ago and returned to Don to buy my new car. He was awesome in helping me find what was right for me. I already knew I wanted an Escape and to my surprise bought a 2012 Ford Escape. Becky and David were great in helping me get the Sync set-up. The Financial Guy (I don't remember his name) was very patient and worked out a great warranty package for me. To my surprise, I ended up with 0% interest through Ford Motor Credit, as I had with the Mustang! I'm glad I stayed with Bowditch so I can continue going to a service department that I trust!

I visited Bowditch to replace my 2000 F150 XLT with a 2011 model. I made Bowditch my first stop because of the pleasant experience I had with them back in 2000. Other than a few new faces, I was happy to find that nothing had much changed. Bowditch Ford still has that small town dealership atmosphere.I did most of my homework on the Bowditch web site, so I had narrowed my choice to one of two 2011 F150 XLTs before visiting the dealership. David Truman promptly met my wife and I at the vehicles. David had a vast knowledge of the F150 line, and he did a great job of comparing and contrasting the two vehiclesin a language my wife and I could understand. We ended up choosing the XLT with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. The staff at Bowditch was friendly and professional. No hard sales tactics were employed. David Truman and sales manager Dennis Cossins were honest and upfront throughout the process. I hadnt even considered trading in my 2000 F150, but Bowditch made such a good offer I changed my mind.Overall, I would rate the experience at Bowditch Ford at 5 out of 5, but I would rate the price 4.5 out of 5. Lets face it, there is no such thing as a great price on a new vehicle unless its free. I plan on being back at Bowditch Ford in 2021 to buy a new F150.

We were greated by a friendly and professional sales rep almost instantly upon arrival( Ryan Wilke). It was obvious from the beginning Ryan and the sales team wanted our business and desired to determine our needs and what it would take for us to purchase a new vehicle.Because it took us two days to make our final decision we were assisted by Walter Holmes, who was always helpful and demonstrated first rated customer service skills. We also received exceptional service from Casey and Dennis Cousins. They worked effectively to ensure our requirements were met. My wife and I went to Bowditch Ford in search of a good dependable car for her daughter and we were looking to spend around 3000. We were greated immediately by Jeff and he showed us a few used cars that were in that price range. We test drove a 2003 ford Taurus and loved it, it was clean and well maintained and we went in to start the long process of purchasing this car. Well come to find out we test drove the wrong car for the price and Jeff apoligized for the mix up and we went out and test drove the 96 Taurus and it was ok but not like the 2003, we brought the car home over night and opted the next day to purchase the 2003 despite it being a little more than what we wanted to spend. Jeff and Casey were awesome to work with and they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and offered any advice they had. We believe we made a well informed decision and to top that off the daugther loved the car. Every good story has a happy ending, right?

I have been living in the Hampton roads area for two years and I was having my vehicle serviced at another dealership. I chose my previous dealership initially due to its convenient location and initially the service was fairly good. My vehicle is still under warranty and had some issues so I took it in for repair. After a month the same issue reoccurred. I took it back in and was told that there were upgraded parts, same problem as before, yada, yada, yada; we'll call you when we find out more. Three months and two trips to that dealership later I went to Bowditch. My patience gone I initially wasnt hopeful. I had some issues making an appointment by phone, (bummer) so I booked an appointment on their web site and received confirmation via email (the best way to go). The service manager Al when I met him was great from the start. He along with the mechanic (Steve) actually take the time to explain what is going on, where its happening and why, right along with what they need to do in order to fix it. No fluff. A nice comfortable waiting room, they even stop in and give time updates if youre waiting. Today I took my car back for the same problem again. They called Ford, to figure out how to fix it for good. I will definitely continue to be a patron of Bowditch Ford.

I was quoted a repair that was not needed. Another service center said the repair was not needed. Even if it had been needed, the price fron another service center was less than half of the Bowditch people. They were clerly trting to rip me off. I will never go there again and will tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

I have always had good experience with the service department and expecially with the the service team directed by Mr. Casuno. However this time my experience in the service department started out to be a very negative one but quickly turned around thanks to Mr. Cusano. I dropped off my truck at 3 pm on Thursday May 26th. Mr. Casuno was not in the office and I left the truck with another service team. I was told that I would be contacted on Friday the 27th and told what was found to be the problem and the possible cost. On the 27th I called around 11:30 and was told that they had not had a chance to look at my truck yet. I was called by the service department at 4 pm later that day on Friday and told that my truck needed a part that was not in stock but could be procured from Hall Ford. I was told that there was not enough time to fix it on the 27th and that it would not be worked on until Tuesday May 31st. I asked if the service department was open on Saturday and could repairs be accomplished then. I was informed that the team that had my truck was not working that weekend and that the other team working could not work on it. I needed my truck but since in needed service I left it to be fixed on Tuesday the 31st since Monday was a holiday. Tuesday finally came around and I again did not hear anything until I called around 2:45 pm and found out that it had parts replaced and was still in need of a front end alignment and that it would be ready by 5 pm. I showed up at 5 pm on Tuesday to find that the truck was still not ready. At this time I was approached by Mr. Cusano and he asked why I had not dropped the truck off with his team like I usually do and I explaind that when I came in that past Thursday he was not in the service office and the other team said they would induct my truck for repair. At this time Mr. Cusano and I talked about the long delay in the repair of my truck. He took personal interest in my service and worked with the technicians to make sure the truck was ready by close of business on the 31st. He also went the extra distance to talk to the service manager and explain how I was told that the weekend crew could not work on my truck which was not a correct statement since his team was the one working that Saturday and he could have worked on it. He explained that the repair should not have required my truck to be in the shop for 5 days. Mr. Cusano and the service manager went the extra mile and compensated me with a discount for the extreme inconvenience I experienced due to the lost time of not having my vehicle.

I purchased a 2010 Fusion used. Within a month I started having transmission problems. I checked online and discovered that 2010 Fusions were known to have transmission problems- and there were countless horror stories of owners having a very hard time getting their cars repaired. I called the dealer and spoke to Al. He told me to bring it in right away. Although the repair took about a week, the dealer provided a rental car free of charge and repaired my car- no hassels. The work was done under the warranty- so there was no cost to me. My car runs great. I am very happy with Bowditch Ford's service department, and Al especially.

Although my previous car was not going to last much longer, I was still hesitant about purchasing another one. Casey was extremely patient and was able to get me a great car, in my budget, despite some financial challenges. We are very pleased with the vehicles and are even more pleased with the top quality service we always receive from Al Cusano and his team. Al has always been very thorough with our vehicles and is quick to find any problems that need to be addressed. Al handled all my questions and arranged for the work to be done on my car. All I had to do was drop the car off and pick it up when it was done. As to quality of work, I must assume it is good because I have never been left stranded on the road (knock on wood!. I do not know the name of the technician that actually worked on my car but I thank him. I did receive a call at my home to check up on the work that had been done. A message was left as I was not at home. I will call on Monday to reiterate the information provided in this review.

Bowditch went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The representative had obviously prepared for our visit. The service included an overview of the dealership and an introduction to key staff - all of whom were very friendly. We left with the impression that Bowditch is a customer focussed organisation who place great store in their reputation. As a relatively large dealer they have access to all the facilities that a Ford owner might require. Not even Mercedes Benz made me feel this welcome. Very professional.

I still drive across the tunnel cause I just love their quality of service for over a couple years. I wouldn't dare try someone else. Th prices and great deals never get and always have helpful ways of saving you money. They mean business and have the job done right within a reasonable amount of time.

All of my experiences at Bowditch Ford's service department and been great thanks to Al Cusano and his team. His knowledge of vehicle service and his customer relations are outstanding. He is always recommending what is best for the vehicle and the customer. I had my truck in for new front brakes and during the service it was discovered that one of my newly purchased front tires had a nail in the side wall. Good catch!! The day after the service I left on a week road trip and had that problem not been discovered I would not have have as pleasant of time as I did. When service is needed I always ask for Al and his team.

I visited Bowdicth to have my car inspected. I purchased my vehicle in January 2000 from Joe Gerrity. There have been a few maintenance items that have had to be taken care of over the years, but all in all service has been good. The service at Bowditch over the last 11 years has been exceptional. John did an excellent job assisting with difficult financing. New car is working out great. I made several calls to the dealership and was always greeted with friendly people. Dawn took the time to provide me with after market items to preserve my Escape for many years. I will return for service and have already referred my mother to the dealership. Crossing the water was not a problem to get what I wanted.

I had warranty work done on a defective key pad. The courtesy shown by Al was great. He told me how long my car would be in maintenance and arranged transportation to my home. When the work was completed he called and arranged transportation back to the dealership. What was unexpected was the numbers I had programmed in the defective keypad were reprogrammed in the new keypad. I consider this above and beyond normal repairs. This is my 5th car with Bowditch Ford and NEVER have I been disappointed with the sale or service on my vehicles.

Every time I take my vehicle or my wife's vehicle for service, I am warmly welcomed by "Al" in the service department. He always has a smile, and readily knows the history of our vehicles. I know approximately how long it will take for my vehicle service and I can either wait in a comfortable customer lounge, or even be taken to somewhere I need to go by a customer service vehicle (at no charge by the way). I can also be picked up and returned when my vehicle is ready. The service is always performed by very competant personnel and I have rarely, if ever, had any type of problem after the service was performed. Bowditch Ford has been my dealer for over 15 years, and I will remain a loyal customer as long as I am able to drive.

I have always had a great experience with bowditch ford. I have been a customer since 1995 and would not buy or service my vehicles with anyone else. Al C has been great to both myself and my husband handling all our problems effectively and completely and we appreciate him and the rest of his team. The girls that are inside are always happy and pleasant and knowledgeable. I also appreciate the ride home i get if i have to leave my car, your drivers are really sweet. From the time my daughters and I hit the door someone was asking if they could assist us or get us anything. We had drove from Petersburg. John and all of the papers already printed out and waiting for me. The test drive was great no problems the entire time. Everyone there was very nice and willing to take care of any need if possible. John said that I would be driving home in a new car and I did. I can't speak for everyone, but my overall experience was wonderful and I don't have anythiny bad to say.

Took car in on a Tuesday was told it was covered under recall, then told it wasn't - had to wait a day and a half for a " diagnosis " that we were told wold be complimentary, at the time of picking up the vehicle the diagnosis was listed on the bill as $97. We have bought SEVEN cars from this dealership and EVERY experience is the same, we are told one thing and another happens, the price is NEVER what we are quoted and even after getting the service manager involved in certain circumstances they still have not lived up to their word. This vehicle is driven for business purposes and can not afford to be off the road for three days because it was brought in under the wrong team or or because the didn't have time to " diagnose " the problem, after another mechanic told them what it was and he found the information saying it was covered under warranty ( that is how the vehicle ended up at the dealership ). We have purchase SEVEN vehicles from Bowditch, had ALL the service work, warranty work, scheduled maintenance and recall work done at this dealership, I even worked at the dealership for two years. If this is how Bowditch treats LOYAL customers and previous employees we WILL NOT do business with them again. This is THE LAST Ford we will purchase and the LAST TIME we will have ANY work done at this dealership.

December is a very long month for me due to work. I had forgotten about my inspection sticker was due. I finally got the day off and called to see if they were available to do an inspection. Although they were busy Jay understood why I was late and was able to get me in. When I arrived I asked if the detail shop was able to clean my car, cause again I had been unable to. He had informed that it may not be possible. That was fine and I understood. A little while later when Jay called and told everything was fine he surprised me and let me know that they were cleaning my car for me. I have been with Bowditch for almost 10 years now and this is why I will stay with Bowditch. They give excellent service and care.Thank you again Jay. I know you were busy but you still took very good care of me. I really appreciate everything.

First of all, Al keeps cutting me off while I'm trying to talk and has a slightly arrogant attitude. Would rather deal with a different service rep.2nd, the rattle that the passenger left side door was supposed to have been fixed but it's still there even though the work order stated the vehicle was road tested. will be returning the vehicle for the door rattle to be fixed

Great dealership, with the most excellent service - ALWAYS. All the employees are very respectful and professional. They all seem to truly care about the customers and those waiting for their automobiles while being serviced, with even making sure we are offered beverage and donuts. Although they were very busy, it was apparent that I wasn't just another number. I had to wait an hour for an oil change but that was most acceptable, however the service manager still apologized for the wait, it wasn't necessary but made me feel important enough to address this concern for their end of the service. Future automobiles will definitely be purchased here because of the service department!

I have been buying and servicing my Fords at Bowditch Ford for over 12 years. When I trade-in my Fords every 2 years, Susie Perry is my Sales Rep and always makes sure I get the new Ford I need - she listens to my lifestyle needs and puts me in the right car for me. For Service, Al Cusano is the best! I make sure to bring the car to the service department when my service "sticker" tells me I'm due. Al Cusano makes sure my car gets all service needed while it's there - one stop! Between Susie and Al, they keep me going - they're the best!

Bowditch deserves and earned this rating. My inspection was done so quickly; the service dept tried so hard to work me into their schedule on the last day of the month; and the people who work for Bowditch are so customer-oriented. Price is commensurate to the quality of work. Expect large price for complex repair. Additional problems maybe revealed upon inspection. Repairs will be performed according to Ford standards. Standard maintainence is competitively priced. They changed oil and performed state inspection for < $50.

The only thing I was not happy with is that my truck was there for two days getting worked on, yet no one noticed the oil change due now chime and performed the oil change. Other than that I love these guys. Awesome to deal with and always a pleasure!!!

The dealership is convenient location to work. The employ good people. The jobs that I have had them do have been done right the first time. Even though I have an old truck the parts department always has the parts available. It may cost more to go to a dealer, but it gets done right.

I love Bowditch Ford! All my cars for the last 15 years have come from Bowditch. The sales staff and the service staff both are very friendly and knowledgeable. I never have to wait for any service longer than advised and the waiting room is very comfortable. Every experience I have had with Bowditch has been a pleasant one.

We first went to Bowditch on a Sunday afternoon to look for a new vehicle. We walked around the entire parking lot without anyone approaching us. We decided to walk inside to find some help, and as we were walking towards the building, a salesperson came outside, looked at us and sat down on a bench without any greeting. Once inside we walked past two salespeople sitting on a bench chatting with each other and playing on their cell phones, again no greeting.We ended up coming back a few weeks later after doing an internet pricing online. The second time around we were welcomed inside and offered much assistance. Susie made the process very smooth and easy and it was a pleasure purchasing a vehicle from her. I would highly recommend Bowditch for anyone looking for a new Ford vehicle!

I brought my Explorer in to have my tires rotated and oil changed. When I paid my bill it was $140.00 minus my discounts. Service said my radiator needed to be flushed since it had not been done before and my vehicle is over 5 years old. I feel as though service should have consulted with me about the flush before doing the work.

This is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from them. Great dealership.Everyone was able to answer all my questions. I got a full tank of gas, a beautiful car, and a great experience. I purchased a new 2010 F150 from overseas car sales, I had it delivered to Bowditch Ford for pick up. In my phone calls to the dealership prior to arriving stateside, they were limited in their helpfulness. I explained to the representative that I would also like to purchase one or two additional vehicles for my spouse and daughter, I spent the time to give the details of type and model, she told me that she would try to find the vehicles and email me what she found. the only emails I got from her were the weekly specials. I was disappointed but figured that it was a busy dealership and at least I was getting something. Before I arrived to pick up the vehicle I called the dealership to ensure any paperwork was complete and to check if the vehicle was indeed there. The response I got was "The person who handles that isn't here this week and she is the only one who can help you, check back next Monday." I was supposed to pick up the vehicle on Tuesday and no one could tell me if the vehicle was there or not. when I finally arrived after 16 hours through airports, I am treated as if I am an irritation and an inconvenience. I love the electronics in these new vehicles. they tell you how much fuel you have until empty. When I was brought out to the vehicle, I start the engine and the first thing that pops up is "19 miles until empty" I looked at the representative and she told me where I could find a gas station. Are you kidding me? Is this how Ford delivers vehicles or is it the customer service that this dealership gives to military members who purchase vehicle overseas and they don't want to be bothered with? I was very disappointed with my first experience of customer service in Virginia. On the up side. I went to another Ford dealer (Hall Ford) to address an issue with the remote starter on the vehicle. An individual from the floor asked if he could help me, I explained my issue (expecting for him to pawn me off on someone else), he spoke with me about it to get the details, then came out to the Truck to see for himself. He was unfamiliar with the problem so he went inside and got someone else to assist me. Everyone there was extremely helpful, I was so impressed with the customer service that I will purchase my next two vehicles through them as well as have all maintenance performed by that dealership. In conclusion, if you are a military member purchasing a Ford product and coming to the Virginia area. have your vehicle shipped to Hall Ford, You will be very happy that you did!

We are always pleased with our service, customer treatment, and timeliness of service. Al is always good about informing us what needs to be done and why. We feel confident in his knowledge and appreciate that he recognizes us when we walk in. We usually are just in for maintenance because our 3 ford vehicles serve us well. We have a 2005 F150 super cab 4x4, 2006 Mustang, and a 2006 Focus. The mechanics leave our vehicles clean and we feel their work is credible.

Own a 2004 F150, My second window falls down for no other reason than it's a piece of junk. Ford f150's from 2004 have a problem and Ford know all about it, yet won't recall for some reason. I spent $400 to have it (fixed) we will see. I have now spent $800 on window parts with two more windows just waiting to fail. I don't even know if the ones that were fixed will last! I have owned only three vehicles in my life, all Fords, but this has soured me to the point that I will never spend another dime on Ford. The service person tells me "this happens alot". I say so now I just wait for the other two windows to do the same thing? "probably". I say what I paying $400 for? Another piece of junk part that breaks for no reason? Reply "I think these new ones are modified". UNACCEPTABLE

We are returning customers. Previously we had purchaded my Explorer (12 years ago) and David's Ranger. We wouldn't think of going anywhere else because of the service and courtesy affiliated with everyone at the dealership. The service department is excellent and I like the fact that I can get a courtesy ride to school when possible. The new service of three rentals is excellent. We consider you the best.

We purchased a used 2004 Ford Escape in Nov 2009, so the dealership sends us emails regularly. One particular email in June 2010 was a "Happy Birthday" email and as always, they checked to make sure we are still enjoying the vehicle and for us to call if we have any questions. Because it was my husbands birthday, we decided to ask Bowditch if they could do a complimentary carwash for his birthday. We were told by Samantha that she would need to speak to the owner and would get back to us. She called back the very next day and we were pleased to hear that the owner decided to have us bring the vehicle in for the carwash. We dropped our vehicle off, just expecting a typical, ordinary car wash, but when we returned to pick up our truck, we didnt recognize it! It looked brand new, like the first day we purchased it! It was spotless outside AND inside! We were so impressed with the value of the work done on our vehicle and the excellent customer service we received that we had to share our 5-Star experience. Thanks so much Bowditch Ford for treating us like 5-Star Customers!

I find my experience at Bowditch appealing mainly because of the Service department. I am a firm believer that after the orginial sale, that is what is left, Service. We were connected up with Al Cusano, and he has proven to be the best Service person we could hope for. He is the most honest, straight forward, and fair Service Rep. I have ever delt with. That is what brings us back. We have two vehicles, a 2008 Escape and still bring our 2002 Explorer in for any and all service needed. Thanks for all you do!

This was my first experience with Bowditch but I can say that it will not be my last! I started out on line and Walter was quick to respond to my inquiry and very consious of my work schedule as far as sceduling my test drive and finishing my buying of the 2008 Mustang. i bought my first Taurus from Bowditch in 1992, then my second in 2000, and it now has 165,000 miles onit. My next car will also be a Ford, and I'll buy from Bowditch because of the service department. The salesman was excellent, very personable and friendly and informative. All the puliminary work, pricing, offerer, trade in, loan approval was completed before we arrived Friday so only final paperwork needed to be done. The whole experience was excellent except the extended wait for the lady offering undercoating, paint and interior protection. Much too long a wait. No offer for a drink, etc. while waiting. Saleman kept appologizng for the wait as the person we were to see was tied up with other customers. I guess there was only 1 person that does this...? We were there from 1435-1710. Otherwise it was an excellent experience and we will certainly come back for our next car.

Positive attitude by service manager upon arrival set a good start point.Within an hour of dropping off car received a call about repairs.Without asking, informed repairs covered by warranty.Car ready when promissed.Service manager review of repair provided necessary information and answered all questions.

As a widow it's important to me to have a service department I can trust. My service requests have always been met promptly and courteously. By following my service manager's recommendations, I now have 223,000 miles on my Ford Tauras. It still drives like a new car and I've had no major problems. The confidence I have in Bowditch's service dept. gives me peace of mind.

I have been purchasing vehicles from Bowditch Ford for some 15 plus years and the last 10 years have been working with Susie Perry, Dennis Cousin and Al Cusano and they are the big reason I keep coming back to Bowditch. They are professional and very fair in their dealings with you and are always available with any help or questions you may have about your vehicle. Also, they are as concerned about you after you have purchased a vehicle as much before you purchased the vehicle. They have make purchasing a vehicle a pleasurable experience rather then the old days where you came for battle whenever you wanted to purchase a vehicle from some other dealership. Buying a car from Bowditch is a very good experience. Outstanding staff, warm and friendly,and going out of their way to give one the most positive and productive experience possible. Respect and care are very obvious and consistent. I would highly recommend others to buy their Ford vehicle here. I have been a Ford girl all my life and will never veer from that. I am actually passionate about my Ford Focus ( 2010). I had hoped this consistency was in the Service Dept also. It has not been that way for me in my two visits. Something has been wrong with my Sync since the beginning. I brought it in to be looked at. I came in and said I had an appointment and had mentioned the Sync problem. The young man at the counter even denied I made the apnt or told him the problem. Ummmm, how would I have known his name and come in at a specified time if I had not discussed the issue with him? He was rude and flat, and had absolutely no customer skills at all. The mechanic who looked at the Sync was very accomodating and pleasant. He took a lot of time trying to figure out what was wrong. It is not his fault he could not resolve this issue. It seems there is NO ONE who has been trained on Sync problems on site. It is not acceptable that the time has not been set aside to train the mechanics on an integral part of a Ford vehicle. To this day, my Sync is still not working properly.My second visit was for my first visit for an oil change and to get my tires rotated and the tire pressure checked. According to my Ford Advantage booklet, these are courtesy services for the first 7,500 mile visit. Now I will more than happily pay for services for my car. But when it is offered as complementary I expect that to be followed through. When the woman examined my car and asked me what I was there for , I told her. She abruptly told me I was wrong about the tire rotation and I would be charged. I informed I would have the service done elsewhere, based more on her attitude than paying for the service. I went back to the counter to drop off my keys, and told the man at the counter, showed him on the booklet where it stated the first visit benefits, and he concurred. Until I had to retrieve my car.Then they tried to charge me again for the rotation. It is the principle of the thing. I was very turned off at being put in the position of again seeming to ask for a "free" service, when this was the offer from the dealership. When I told the cashier how I would not return, she simply smiled and handed me my paperwork. It was a perfect opportunity for her to say she would get a manager and make sure I left happy. She did not. And no, it was not busy at all, she did have the chance to make this right.I love the sales staff and their professionalism. I am in love with my Ford Focus.But I will get my maintenance needs met elsewhere. Gave the dept two tries, I would not be so foolish to allow myself a third time to be disenchanted.

Al and his team at Bowditch Ford always do a great job. I feel like I can trust them to service my vehicle honestly, promptly and at a fair price. A co-worker originally recommended Bowditch Ford for service and I would not hesitate to recommend them others.

I have a good working relationship with Al. He identifies the problems I bring the vehicle in for as well as recommend preventitive measures to ensure my Ford Explorer continues to run. I own a 1996 Explorer and through Bowditch Ford and Al, I contiunue to enjo my Ford today.

Since I bought the used car from Bowditch, I have returned for service work, inspections and body work. In each case I was satisfied with the work done. I expect to continue dealing with Bowditch as long as I own a Ford product. ( I think it is dumb to insist that a review be made longer than it was and had to include 250 characters)

Vehicle taken at appointed time for state inspection. Other scheduled maintainance was discussed and agreed to be accomplished. The waiting area was pleasent, clean with free decent tasting coffee. The waiting period was reasonable for the work being done. Checkout was fast and simple.

Al goes out of his way to explain what is wrong with the car and why they want to do the work he is recommending. I don't know much about cars, and my husband does, so I always have a bunch of questions so that I can explain it to my husband. Al is always helpful in making sure that I understand the situation. During a recent service visit, one of the mechanics (John) drove the car with me to diagnose a noise that my husband was worried about. I hardly could hear it, but John was able to tell me what I needed to do to fix the problem.

We purchased our 2004 Explorer in August, 2004, and it has served us well. However, during the recent weeks, we noticed an unusual noise in the rear end of the vehicle; it was annoying at least. Also, during some reverse shifting, also an unusual noise occurred. We took the car to Bowditch Ford on a Monday, and Al Cusano believed he knew the sources of the problems. Al got us a rental vehicle nearby. He had it test driven, ordered parts the next day, and the necessary service and repairs were done.He called us on the fourth day telling us the car was ready. We talked with Al, who had been very accommodating and responsive to our concerns. He really listened to us as customers and friends, again providing us the assurance of a successful service job. Overall, I would commend Al, as service advisor, and his staff for their outstanding support and hospitality typical of the Bowditch dealership.

I brought my vehicle in for service (oil, filter,and state inspection). The state inspection was free since I bought my car at Bowditch and continue to have my service there. I also have a card "FORD Owner Advantage" where I get free oil and filter changes every fifth time. My wife ande I have good relations with the service manager.

Great Dealership, great service, We have never had any issues or concerns with they use of the dealership or the service received from the service department. We have 3 vehicles that get all there the serivice completed by the service department. Al Cusano takes good care of us!

Every time we go to Bowditch Ford, the service is great! Everyone in the service department, as well as, the cashier are truly good to us. Our wait time is extremely good for the work done, and the atmosphere of the waiting area is pleasant. Even the sales people that walk through are very friendly and always speak to us. We love Bowditch Ford and will continue to buy our cars from them.

Service Department is as crooked as they get.Escape broke down (spark plug came out) near their shop, so we had ti towed there for an estimate.They said repairs would take over 5 hours. $700+Also said it needed brakes and rotors to the tune of another $500.Suspecting they were up to something, we opted to bring it home and do the work ourselves.What the so-called pros said would take 5 hours, we had finished in just over an hour.Brakes were fine. Rotors too.Total cost to repair was just over $100.That's a net savings of about $1,100 over what would have been done if we'd taken them for their word.

This has been a very positive experience for me and I have already recommended this dealership to friends!! The entire staff is exceptional, very polite, and very friendly. All of my needs were met while I was there. I will buy again when the time comes. Joe Garrity was great to deal with, very helpful, he met my needs in what I wanted in a vehicle!!

We bough our 2002 Ford Ranger Edge from Bowditch Ford in february 2002 and had great reliability with it. We wanted to trade up and found a great 2005 ford Freestyle which fits our needs greatly. It is a beautiful cross between an SUV and a minivan. Casey and the staff at Bowditch have always been gret and personable. We feel like we are part of the dealership and not just a customer. Thanks for giving us a wonderful experience.

I NEEDED TO PURCHASE A USED MIDSIZED CAR THAT WAS GOOD ON GAS AND CONFERABLE TO DRIVE(I DRIVE LONG DISTANCE AND AM 6'1") SUZIE TOLD ME TO COME IN AND THEY COULD WORK WITH ME AND GET ME OUT OF MY TRADE AT A PAYMENT I COULD AFFORD. SUZIE DID JUST THAT IT WAS A PLEASANT SHOPPING EXPERIENCE.

I have followed Susie Perry all over the peninsula for the past 23 years buying cars and trucks from her. She is the most honest; straight shooting salesperson that anyone could ask to be around. If you do not come away thinking that you got a good deal than you were not paying attention. In this, the 21 century, she can do more with a computer, and get you into a car faster than you can shake a stick. Susie talks highly of the service department. I believe her. She does not forget you after a sale.

I really appreciated this dealership. Overall, it was a pleasent experience. The fact that it took 3 trips to the dealership to view the vehicle I wanted was a bit much. And, the vehicle had a few items that needed fixed so I left it there a week but then it took an additional trip to get it done as promised. I think everyone was professional. Bottomline, if you promise something to a customer it's ok to fall short the first time, but not a second. Thank you for a great experience.
