I have had good mechanical service. The service advisers leave a little to be desired. You had better make sure everything you want to be done is on your paperwork before you leave. If dropping off before hours call when they open and verify they got everything you ask for. I have had to return to get service finished more than once. I have learned not to trust them to get it right with out going over every detail.

I've been traveling and started having issues with my GPS in my display and my radio and I called him up and he said come on in and they took care of it right away which is outstanding service, very unexpected and they took care of us right away which was really nice and they waive all fees and charges oh, I can't thank you guys enough

I am very impressed with this business. Very family orientated and welcoming to my Children. I can't say enough about the service I received. I went to many dealers even in Louisville and Swope Ford is the most honest and hands down easiest to deal with. I am so excited driving my new car and am very grateful for the dealer that helped me! Bryan in sales is top notch! He is a wonderful salesman and I recommend him highly. Angela in the finance dept will take time to explain everything and is very patient! I went to this dealership after having a very poor experience at BigM in Radcliff. I was looking for a specific vehicle for certain needs. Andrew and Justin made a couple of suggestions and I ended up leaving shortly after with a different car that was 10 times better. There were a few small obstacles that they handled for me and made this one of my best car buying experiences ever.

The WORST EXPERIENCE at a service place, I have ever had! Took vehicle in for a recall, check air conditioner, not cooling but blowing air, and fix left blinker. They kept calling with more stuff wrong and the price keeps climbing. The vehicle i have was bought new from Ford and well-kept in the garage and never had any issues, never been wrecked or anything. Just recently out of warranty. The problem came with one part they said it needed to be replaced which was not a usual part you repair on an air conditioner. When asked what was wrong they said it was bent which was strange since the air conditioner had never been worked on before. When time to pick up vehicle firs they said we have to keep all weekend which they already had it overnight. Then when my husband said okay I want to see the parts that were broken and an explanation of what was wrong (sounds simple right?). Next in about an hour they call back and all of a sudden it was ready to go. Okay. When you get there first they do not want to show you the part, then after insistence they went to get the part, and now it was not bent it would not seal correctly. Okay how would that have happened? We asked. They said someone went in there and broke it. Okay we have never had any work on the air conditioner on this vehicle we bought new and the only owners. We changed oil, filters, etc. Then either it came from the factory like this or it happened when fixing? Now we are liars and we went in there and worked on an air conditioner that had never been worked on. It does not end there. Okay I want my bill. Well, I have to add it up. They you stand there for 10-15 minutes waiting for them to decide how much you owe them and the bill goes form 400-800.00 dollars. Really. I can see if air compressor was out of the air conditioner but for hoses and a line? I paid and left but I will NEVER BE BACK! You can tell when you are being ripped off. Etown Bob Ford Swope Service ripped me off!

do not shop here! Today is 18 FEB 16, and I purchased a car back in December 2015. They did not get all the required paperwork from me, rushed me out because if was past closing time, and did not wash/detail the SUV before letting me drive home. After a month 1/2 of trying to register by car to get my plates, I was given the run around because the dealership had never sent my paperwork to my DMV. The salesman (Gerrick) sent me a voicemail in which I still have, assuring me that he had mailed out another TEMP tag since mine was close to expiring. I thanked him, but two weeks later, no tag. After calling and speaking to the dealership once again, the tag was never mailed out like he told me. HORRIBLE service. I would not recommend buying a car from this place. Drive to Radcliff and/or Louisville if you want better service. Highly disappointment and as I type this I still do not have car plates.

From 1 to 10 with 10 the best I give Rex Allamey 20. My first day SUV shopping I met a dealer named Samantha and she was very nice and she got me started. When I returned next day Samantha was out and Rex took me on. Even though the deal/credit for the sale is in Samantha's name Rex went over board to see that I got best deal. I am so happy that Rex got the manager to work with me on price, pmts and more. Rex is very informed about the SUV I choose and made sure me and my husband were happy with our choice. I will recommend Rex and their staff to my co-workers, friends and family for future vehicles. Thanks Rex and all staff that assisted our family getting the best deal and SUV for the money :)

He has a commanding knowledge of the vehicle I purchased and provided an excellent orientation of the functions of the F150. The entire staff interacted with my wife and I in more than a professional manner. To be honest it was like being with family. Just can't say enough positive comments about this great dealership. As a customer service professional i enjoined my experience with the sales man that assisted me. Jeffery Maclin has the experience to sell anything. I wasn't there to make a quick decision, but with his knowledge he was able to better help me narrow down my search. I know for a fact that as soon as i decide i am going straight to him. He is funny personable and very knowledgeable on the differences of the cars. I am very close to decided so i'm sure i'll see him soon for some test drives. Just want to say a big thanks to Bob Swope Ford. They really took care of my Challenger that I bought from them over 3 years ago. The clear coat was peeling on its spoiler and even though the 3M warranty would not pay to fix it, Bob Swope Ford paid to fix it and gave us a loaner car to use while it was being fix. I would recommend them to anyone who is wanting to buy a car.

Sam was my saleswoman, she showed we around, spoke very highly of the ford fusion. I drove it and fell in love. My husband and I were out comparison shopping for a new vehicle and stopped by Bob Swope Ford in Elizabethtown, we were greeted by Justin we told him what we were looking for and he zeroed in on just the right vehicle in our price range and the features we desired. The one feature the vehicle didn't have - was handled by arranging for an outside vendor to fix us up. They went out of their way to make sure we purchased the vehicle we wanted. Just purchased a 2015 Escape and was had a great experience all the way - Justin found us a vehicle in our price range and with all the options we desired. Made 2 trips for a diagnostic to be told my airbag rcm was bad and the part wasn't correct cause I didn't buy it from them, but a different ford. I was given the part number by them for my specific vin, but now it's not the right one. Extremely frustrating, I will find a different ford dealership to fix the problem. I felt as though it was a pain for them because I had questions. Not the customer service I like to recieve.

I truly cannot say how helpful the people at Swopes Ford have been to me today! I was driving through Kentucky on a long distance move from New York to Texas when my brakes had an issue. Of course being that it is Memorial Day weekend most stores are closed and parts are hard to find but the awesome people at Swopes took me in and went absolutely above and beyond helping me. Jeff drove me to different stores in search of a bolt I needed without hesitation and when that search came up empty he offered to take me to and from my hotel! Ultimately they loaned me a vehicle for the night which was an absolute god send. I cannot say enough about how helpful the whole office has been in my time of stress and panic!

Found vehicle on website Friday evening. Sent email to dealership inquiring about vehicle. Received phone call from sales associate sat morning and she provided us a phone number to call in case we needed to contact after hours as we live 2.5 hours away and she said vehicle was good running vehicle and just had high miles. Tried multiple times to call this number sat and Sun to see if we could come see vehicle, but the phone number given said it was disconnected. Called first thing Mon morning and spoke to internet sales manager and asked if we could send money to hold vehicle until we could come see it as again we live 2.5 hours away and both work. She said they could not do that, but again said the vehicle was good running vehicle. Called again Tues and was told vehicle still available and dealership would be open until 8 that pm. Worked hard to get done with work early to have time to get to bank to get money to complete sale and get there before dealership closed. Called to let them know we would be on our way and was told by sales associate that the car had been sold to an auction house even though we had just called earlier same day expressing great interest in the vehicle. This sales associate said we wouldn't have wanted that vehicle anyway as it had many problems even though we had been told by 2 previous sales associates that it was a good vehicle. He offered to help us get a different vehicle that was several thousand more than the one we were looking at, which we could not afford as we are expecting our second child and was looking for an inexpensive, but dependable vehicle for our growing family. I will never go to this dealership and suggest others do the same!!

The dealership is awesome to bad it does not go to the service center were you have the work done. I made the mistake of taking my 03 Ranger down for a clutch problem, Here's the kicker the tech said I had a main seal leak hmm I guess they did not think I knew the differance. I wont continue to ramble about this however I will also say that they were 2 weeks late getting me my truck back then the bill I almost had a stroke. I would never recommend there service center to anyone. Like I said the dealership rocks to bad the service centers do not. FYI the labor costs were more then the parts.

We retired last year and moved to Elizabethtown, which necessitated our finding a new service provider for our Ford F150 Crew Cab and Explorer. Thankfully, we found Diane Gipson and all the nice folks at the Truck Service Center. Since both of our vehicles are older (2003 & 2006) we really wanted to partner with a service facility that would help us to keep them running. We sure found that at Swope. We have had oil changes, small problems and big problems over the course of the last year, but we have had service that has been consistent, dependable, and much appreciated in each and every instance. I found the vehicle that fit what I had been looking for, a 2013 Taurus SHO, on the website for Bob Swope Ford in Elizabethtown, KY. The actual transaction of purchasing the vehicle was painless and the sales associate was very accommodating and friendly. I decided to purchase the vehicle despite discovering that the dealer had permitted the vehicle to be driven as a demo by a salesperson and the mileage was higher by 3500 than the website indicated. There wasn't much I could do about the mileage, but it should have been my first hint that something was off with a dealer that is putting that many miles on cars they have posted for sale online with the odometer reading documented. The financing process was also uneventful and satisfactory. Because this was a Saturday, the detail department was closed and the Cilajet sealant that was part of the purchase couldn't be applied that day meaning another 2+ hour drive from Nashville would be required. I scheduled to take a day off and made the trek to drop off the dealer. They tried to give me a little loaner Focus but ultimately provided a decent Explorer Sport which seems more appropriate considering the inconvenience. My son and I spent the next 6 or so hours in Louisville making the best of the day. We finally picked up the car and it looked very good and headed home to Nashville. Now this is where the issues began; not knowing the service history I took it to my local dealer and had them do a complete service just in case. In the course of doing this I found out that the vehicle had never been run through any sort of service at Bob Swope Ford at all despite them clearly driving it regularly through a service interval. Additionally and most alarming is that despite the vehicle being on their lot long enough to accumulate 3500 miles and my separate visit back, they completely failed to discover and carry out 2 safety recalls (for your reference the specific recalls are 13S04 Fuel Delivery Module Replacement and 14S10 Right-hand Front Half-shaft Retention to which I will let you look up online and decide seriousness for yourself) that my local dealer considered serious enough to recommend not driving the vehicle until they were completed. I was also informed directly by their used car manager that their standard policy/procedure if for no used vehicle to EVER leave their lot with outstanding safety recalls, not because it is required on used cars, but because it is in the best interest of their potential customers safety. I contacted Bob Swope Ford in writing asking that their GM please call me. The gentleman who did finally call wasn't the GM but he represented the dealer. This representative was very cavalier about my concerns on their lack of concern for customer's safety to which he casually dismissed my concerns and stated that I should have found them myself using a Carfax report. Their attitude was indifferent and dismissive. I don't typically take time to write reviews but I want to make anyone I can aware that given the option, they should consider any non-Swope Auto Group owned dealerships since this apathetic attitude towards their customers safety is likely systemic throughout the organization.

Had an issue from a previous Ford Dealership, First called Bob Swope and spoke to their Mgr. Ron. He wasn't sure he could help but told us to come on in. He told us to smile and ensured he would help in anyway he could. After a week worth of contact from Ron and Kalvin, and the Finance Mgr. They were able to help fix my issue. Can't say enough about the sales people there, even the ones not involved with this issue, everyone's always smiling. they are all pleasant and speak to you. Makes you feel comfortable, feels like they value you as a customer. Looks like it would be a fantastic place to work. I have a 2003 grand Marquis that had a recall on a lighting control module. Called in June, scheduled an appointment for the end of June..when I first got there I told them not to roll my window down because it would not come back up. I was told it was a 30 minute job. after waiting for 2 hours ,I asked what was taking so long and the lady at the desk told me that they didn't look at the job sheet and rolled my window down. Then she proceeded to tell me that if I paid for the part they would throw the labor in free . After complaining about that , she said that they were going to fix the motor and fix the window all the way which they did not.not only did they not fix my window they barely got it rolled up to where it leaks and wind comes through they also called me and told me that my car was ready to be picked up and when I got there they had done nothing to the light control module which I had originally went in there to get fixed so I went back up there a few days later and they told me that the part was on back order and they would call me as soon as they got it in it is one month later and no call I called them today and they told me my name wasn't even in the computer but they will order it for me . completely unacceptable!! .I also took off work twice and lost money aside from getting absolutely nothing done but my window in worse shape than it was to start with.

Recently purchased a used car from these people. And ever since then it's been nothing but PROBLEMS. They say they fix the problem and then a day later it's something else. Don't care for most of the people here. It's still under warranty with the place and supposedly passes all the test, obviously it DOESN'T. NOT HAPPY!!

Being Active Duty I have had dealt with different dealerships around the U.S. Bob Swope Ford is by far the best one. Their customer service to the prices are more then above and beyond. They gave me more for my trade in then what was recommended as well as the price for my truck was well below what they could of gotten. I am very happy with the service and will always recommend them to my friends and family.

in and out in 30 minutes.. EXCELLENT service and personal care. Pouring down rain, brought my car around to a side door under an awning when complete.. other side of the service building. Next Oil Change and service given a reminder and hand wipes to keep in the car.. very very pleased always with the way ive been treated.

Arrived late on Saturday, sales team stayed after hours to help. Sales manager showed us all the paperwork and book values, very helpful, easy transaction, no back and forth with in-between salesman. Very friendly. Will buy from again, traveled 50 miles to buy truck.

I contacted Bob Swope Ford in hopes of purchasing a 2005 Ford Explorer. I have less than perfect credit so I was unsure if they would work with me but I was ensured by a helpful employee that it was not a problem at all. They gathered all my information and said they wouldn't finance to me alone which was fine, I got a cosigner and they stated with my income they couldn't finance me that vehicle since it had a lot of miles on it. I gave up said okay and moved on. A couple days later another employee contacted me and stated he wanted to help me get into a vehicle, he asked if there was anything else I wanted and I told him my requirements in a new car and he said he would call me back. He called me back with a 2006 Jeep Commander with less miles. He said he had it all approved and ready to go. I was excited. I was advised I needed to add the vehicle to my insurance and come in that night which I did. When I got to the dealership we were going over documents and income, they had my cosigner down for making 15,000 a month....When I filled out my online app for him initially for the Ford Explorer, I did put one too many 0's at the end but when I spoke with the previous agent he fixed this for me with the correct income. I'm not sure why there was not a question about that when he called me back in the first place. If my boyfriend made 15,000 a month, I'm pretty sure I would have no problem just buying the care I wanted straight off the lot. Needless to say I am fathomed by the lack of communication in the office. I paid for a babysitter to make this hour long trip (one way) to keep my daughter so I could get up there, I also now have to pay for adding the car to the insurance even though I never stepped foot in the car, gas money to the person who drove me there and not to mention I had finals this week so wasted a night that I could have been studying. I am highly disappointed, not that they were not able to finance me, that is my problem, but that they would make a point to contact me to try something else and not even take the time to get with the person that I initially tried with to make sure all the facts were straight before getting my hopes up again. Now I am out of money and time wasted with Bob Swope.

I love this dealership. They treat you like family which is important to me. No haggle needed. Just good people doing all they can to help. Will always buy my vehicles from them. Service Department is the best.

Love our salesman Paul Jenkins, very helpful answered all questions made for a great buying experience. I purchased my first Ford Focus last March 2012...this is a great car....good gas mileage, features, ride, and handling. I drive about 150 miles a day to work and back home. I have had this car serviced by the Bob Swope service department ....oil changes, tires rotated etc....These guys are wonderful. When we were in need of another car we purcased another Ford Focus from Paul Jenkins last week. Thanks to the team at Bob Swope Elizabethown for everything.

I found a vehicle on their Internet site and my husband drove down to see it. the dealer said my husband could bring the vehicle to me to drive. I think that was a no pressure opportunity for us to test the car and make our decision. We returned later to discuss our trade in which we were given a fair price. We were very satisfied with our purchase.

Talked to Sales Mgr [RON] on Phone and he said SUV Was in good Shape with High Mileage.Another Salesman said it was in Poor Shape. POOR EXCUSE FOR SALES MANAGER AND DEALERSHIP DONT WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU ARE WITHIN 5 MILES OF DEALERSHIP THEY GIVE REPUTABLE DEALERS BAD NAME

These guys were great. At first it didn't sound like I would be getting the car. But they worked everything out and made sure that I drove home with my new car. Great guys. Very dedicated to making sure the car you want goes home with you at the end of the day.

I have never known such friendly and knowledgeable service and sales people I have had the opportunity to know and work with. I normally do not rate Anyone this high but I have been doing business with Bob Swope Ford for years and have never had any problems or walked away confused.

I made an inquiry on a car that Swope had listed and received an immediate reply as well as good follow-up on our email communications. Ultimately I decided to buy a different automobile which was closer to my residence by over 100 miles. I would definitely look at vehicles at Swope Ford the next time I buy an automobile.

If you are looking for a vehicle , new or used, and you are looking to have a pleasant experience.........stop by Bob Swope Ford on Dixie in Elizabethtown ! We have bought many new & used vehiclesin our lifetime and I always "cringed" just driving on the lot knowing what we would have to go through !I will tell you our experience at Bob Swope Ford with Paul Jenkins was not like that at all ! A true gentlemanto the end.....courteous ....polite...caring...not pushing us for anything !!! I have never, ever given a salesmanor a dealership a great rating, I will not rate what is not deserved !!Please stop by and ask for Paul Jenkins at the Bob Swope Ford dealership......you will honestly be glad you did!Oh...I almost forgot...we also bought a 2008 Toyota P.U. while we were there that we love and all withoutthe push & shove !!Thanks Paul !!!!!!!!!!!

We have been shopping for a new vehicle & have always been FORD customers so coming to Bob Swope Ford was logical. There was a no pressure atmosphere, everyone from our salesman to his manager worked with us to get us where we wanted to be on pricing. After the experience I had at your local competitor--had it. I didn't have an appointment and my service was handled in a professional manner. I also had explained I had issues at the competitor amd ot seemed that they welcomed me even if I didn't purchase my auto from this dealership. I felt I was important and everyone appreciated my business.

I had been shopping for a slightly used F150 through Autotrader for over a month now. As I narrowed my choices down, I decided to visit Bob Swope Ford in Elizabethtown for a test drive. I was not too impressed with the initial truck that I found but parked right next to it was a beautiful 2010 F150 XLT 4X4 with almost all of the options that I wanted. After looking at the price tag, I thought that it had to have high miles but was stunned to see that only 22,000 was registered on the odometer. Paul Jenkins (sales rep) allowed me to take a test drive and keep the vehicle for the remainder of the weekend. I absolutely fell in love with this truck! I had searched Autotrader for this same vehicle within a 100 mile radius and could not find one dealer with a comparable price to this truck. Paul Jenkins and the sales manager was extremely easy to work with and was able to secure a lower APR compared to the bank I initially set up my financing with. I received top dollar for my trade-in and was able to drive my new truck home within a couple hours (this must be a world record!!). I would definitely recommend that if you are shopping for a new or used vehicle, stop by Bob Swope Ford of Elizabethtown and ask for Paul.

This by far was the best dealership that I have ever purchased from. The process was smooth and they do what they say. They repaired a small area on the body of the truck we purchased and the body shop did an awesome job... Would I purchase from this dealership again absolutely!!! I must say they have the best sales consultant ever with Ron Williams, we loved dealing with Ron....we found our truck on the Internet and was lucky enough to call and speak to Ron first...we drove a good distance and would do it all over again for the service we received...

I recently purchased a 2012 Ford Edge from Bob Swope Ford and could not have been happier with the entire process. The employees assisted me in narrowing down the vehicle that would best fit my needs. They went above and beyond to work with me on getting my car traded in and helping me find a payment plan that worked into my budget! I have recommended this dealership and team to friends who have also been very satisfied with the service they received. I have since moved and don't live near the dealership, however I will be making the compute and going back to Bob Swope Ford to buy future vehicles.

I usually do business closer to home, but decided to give these guys a try because they had the car I've been looking at. Glad I did!! No back and forth, the whole process took less than an hour from arriving to the dealership. I've never been to a dealership where I was greeted by everyone. Great job guys

I was driving back to NYC after visiting old college friends in Kentucky. My escape overheated. I found the nearest car dealership immediately which was bob swope ford. It was Saturday they were just about to close but stayed opened to help. They fixed my escape quickly and I was back on the road to NYC with no other problems I feel not many places would have stayed open the extra time. Thanks for the help

I recently purchased a used vehicle here, and was very pleased with my experience. I found the car on the internet, and the description was spot on. I visited the dealership, and I was greeted in a very friendly manner, no pressure, and was treated to a burger fresh off the grill! I purchased my new car at a hassle free price that was well below the retail value, and was introduced to the svc dept, which was different than most places I had visited. I have since been to the dealership for service, and was pleased to find out that they remembered my name and took care of my oil change in less than a half hour. I am new to the area, and it is extremely pleasant to have nice people to do business with! I would reccomend them to any and everyone!!

I took a truck in for service, said it would be about 2 hours and to come back then. I called first and they said it wasn't ready. After having the truck for over 6 hours they call and tell me it is ready and to come pick it up. There was no charge because it was a recall but on the way home I get a call from them asking me to bring it back tomorrow. "We didn't do the work". Why the heck did they call and say it was ready.....What a joke is right.

i call to set up a time to look at a car and we made a deal for me to come and look at a car the next weekday, they took down my number. so i take off work next weekday, drive for a hour plus to see this car, called bank had every thing ready so all i had to do was check out the car,and they sell it before i get there and never bother to call and let me know. well i left but the farther i got the madder i got so i call up their and they had there manger call me back. he said they just sold it 20 min ago little did he know i was at that lot 30 min before and could not find the car and nobody bother to help me so i had to find someone to help me. so that took around 15 mins and they told me car was sold early that morning so i left drove for around 15 mins the called them cause i was getting madder cause they wasted my time and then manger tried to make it look like they just sold it. what a joke

I called and received info on this car and got the run around for a day. Only to be told. It was at dealer auction and they would let me know if it sold or not! Why advertise it on cars.com if it is not available to clients on cars.com. A sham I believe. At least it should of said that when they advertised it. I would think twice about this dealership. This is my first and last dealings with them. My money was not enough for them I guess. I offered them the salesman the whole amount they advertised. I guess They wanted more than They advertised. Thank you for this forum. I have purchased my fair share of autos from ford dealerships before and off the net. I know a sham when I see one and here one. But from A dealership.

Had car trouble while traveling, stopped here to get my car fixed. 4 hours and 300+ dollars later I still had the problem. Traveled on to Alabama and stopped in a small town and 10 min. later my problem was fixed.
