I searched online for a car before I went to this dealership so I knew exactly what car I was wanting to buy when I got there. My salesman Erick was awesome, he explained the details of the car well & didn't try to push me to buy another car, that I wasnt interest in. No hassels at all. I have had a vibration problem for 24,000 miles that GM was aware of but had no solution. The Bob Grimm team went to work and went to bat for me and got it resolved with a new set of front tires. They also managed to find my wife a different option package on a vehicle like the one she was currently driving and we traded that the same week. I always talk up the Bob Grimm team when someone I know is looking to trade. They have a Great work force there and always make my visits or purchases a memorable one!!

I bought a used chevy truck from Grimm. Half way home the radiator blew. I eventually made it home. Jon rickets,the sales person contacted me the next day to find out how I was doing with the truck.we discussed the problem and I asked that the least he could do is let me buy a radiator for their cost,which would cost them zero,and he agreed and said he would call me back. I haven't heard from him again. Now that's a dealership that really cares about their customers. Needless to say,I won't do business there again. But I will be sure and tell all I see about my lousy experience at Bob Grimm in Morton.

A big Thank You goes out to Dan and his service team for their above and beyond help to get my corroded fuel line replaced. They were genuinely concerned about my safety, and worked very hard to get the lines replaced as fast as possible, get me a loaner car to get back and forth to work, and help work out a payment plan. He really worked to make a very difficult situation not so difficult.

We had been shopping for an SUV and found one on Cars.com at Bob Grimm Chevrolet. Set up an appointment over the internet. Vehicle was in front of dealership waiting when we got there. Salesman greeted us by name as well as a welcome sticker for us in the window. We had a bad experience a few days earlier at another dealership so this was a nice arrival experience. We took it for a test drive and once returning we informed salesperson that we had financing and they did. Was not where we wanted to be manager came and talked with us about what we liked and disliked about the vehicle. No hardball selling, we talked about different things and not once did we get back doored into talking about the car. Next vehicle we will go here to look at vehicles.

Took my truck in to Bob Grimm Chevrolet Morton, Illinois for repair and paint. They said up front they had a lifetime warranty on all work and parts, so I decided to let them do the work. I went in to see how the job was going and saw they were putting used parts on my truck. I said that is a two year old truck, they said it will be fine you are covered by a lifetime warranty. Now the paint is peeling. I took it in to show them with my receipt and they said it is normal wear and tear. I said if it was normal wear and tear you would see it all over the truck. The only place the paint is peeling is where they painted over used parts,the rest of the factory paint is perfect not even a rust spot. I told them normal wear would show fade not paint peeling off.They said up front I had a lifetime warranty on work now they refuse to live up to their word. They agreed to repaint the truck if I paid half, but I should not have to since I was told all work and parts were covered for life or how long I owned the truck. When you tell someone lifetime to get the work it should be lifetime not come up with excuses when you can clearly see it was a poor work in the first place.

Loved my first visit to bob grimm and have been telling family and friends if they are buying a car I highly recommend bob grimm. I got sick when I originally was suppose to go and the sales agent calles every other day to check on me...so when I got better I surprised him and went to see him...and I walked in ans he knew who I was before I could say who I was..that made me feel so welcome.

It was a refreshing change. Sitting at other dealerships for hours and could not get any figures in print, I would just be shown a few vehicles that they were willing to sell to me. From the moment I first called, the entire team at Bob Grimm Chevrolet were "on the ball". I called about an hour before they closed on a Saturday just to inquire about a vehicle, within a few moments I was making the 45 minute drive to Grimm. On my way up I received a call from one of the personnel letting me know who would be my salesman and the vehicle would be prepped and ready for when I arrived. After Grey listened to what my needs were, he had a short meeting with finance and returned with figures, IN PRINT, and they were perfectly well within what I asked for. The truck already had a great price on it, and I was very happy with the financing, there was no need to get nitty-gritty. Within 2 hours of the initial phone call (yes they ALL stayed late on a Saturday to help me) I was on my way home, happy with my purchase, happy with how my wife and I were treated, happy that Grimm has such a great team to work with.

It did take about an hour to complete the oil change, which I was not expecting, but it was a great service.

My 2003 Chevy Blazer was recently rear-ended by a young driver. Due to this unfortunate circumstance my Blazer had damage that was nearly $2900 to repair. The insurance company to pay for repairs was State Farm and I needed to have body shop work done to repair my vehicle at an approved repair site. Bob Grimm Chevrolet of Morton, IL was on State Farm's approved list and I chose them for the repairs as I have been a loyal customer of Bob Grimm Chevrolet since 1988. Whether it be oil changes or auto service, Bob Grimm Chevrolet has always done a fantastic job on my vehicles. This instance was no exception as they asked to have my vehicle on a Monday and promised it to be done and back to me on Thursday that same week since I needed it back by Friday. They delivered on their promise and made my Blazer repairs look new car showroom condition. I couldn't be happier and I will proudly recommend Bob Grimm Chevrolet and their service dept/body shop to my friends, acquaintances, family members and relatives for their consideration of future dealership service. In addition, due to Bob Grimm Chevrolet's great service on my vehicles, my 2003 Chevy Blazer still runs and looks great even with the 219,000 miles registered on the odometer!

I was traveling from out of town when my rv broke down in Morton. I called to see if they could work on it and was told they could. $300 tow bill later I am standing at the service desk and told that they did not work on rv's. I had to spend even more money to have it towed somewhere else. Not pleased at all.

I had a past bad experience at Bob Grim in the '90's so I was reluctant to go back, but I decided to give them another chance. I dealt with Erick Smith & he was AWESOME! He was very patient with me and my indecision about what vehicle I wanted. He let me decide what I thought would work best for my family, not what he thought was best for me. He worked very hard to fit the vehicle I wanted in my price range and didn't talk down to me because I am a woman. Erick even arranged an extended test drive for me as my 2006 Vue had become unreliable. This was the best car buying experience I've ever had bar none! Thanks Erick!

Normally, my vehicle is washed and it looks great. This time there were still bug guts on the front and both mirror. It is as if the person washing the car made no extra effort to remove the bugs. I watched as someone else's vehicle was parked after it was washed and they at least made an effort to wipe the water out of the door frames. No effort was made there either on my vehicle.

My gilfriend and I live in Kansas City and were in the market for a GMC Yukon XL. We found one on the Bob Grimm website that we really liked. Rick called me and was very open and honest. He was honest about the pricing, the history of the car and the condition. Since we were 7 hours away, Rick even went out with his cell phone and took very detailed pictures of even the slightest ding or scratch. In the end, we found something that we liked 3 hours closer to home. I felt very bad telling Rick that we we had found something else but he was still very professional and understood. Our first experience with Bob Grimm was the service department (JD). Our Cobalt recall. This situation could not be fixed in terms of repair due to the condition of the vehicle because of manufacturer defect. JD was helpful and expedient. Definitely would recommend him. The dealership manager (Chuck) had to get involved and made our experience of selling them our Cobalt EXTREMELY fair easy and fast. He was wonderful and very professional as well as helpful. We brought our truck in later to trade for a different vehicle. Again Chuck was very helpful in getting us started. He handed us over to one of his sales associates Lucy. She was friendly at first but clearly annoyed that she had to wait on us. We were trading in a 3k truck for a swap to be nearly the same price. So we assumed that she was treating us this way because of her bottom line commission. It was also New Years Eve. They closed at 4 but online it said 6. She reluctantly showed us 3 vehicles. She honestly had a smirk while waiting on us that made us feel like she assumed we were "poor"or beneath her. When we returned with the third impaired vehicle after having to wait to be jump started at 550 her and the business manager were standing and waiting talking and grinning as we pulled in. (She called us while we were stranded and didn't seem concerned with our safety only when we would return). We came in and she informed us that they had closed and there may not be anyone to do our paperwork. She then informed us they closed at 4. Again we waited 45-60 min for a jumpstart in their vehicle. Then the only other woman there in her cell phone across the lobby said VERY LOUDKY "ya I already cancelled my dinner plans". Guess we were holding her up too. We apologized and Lucy said she didn't have plans but they did. She smirked a couple more times and sent us to the business manager who was nice and professional but obviously irritated as well. We ended up totaling our '13 Chevy Malibu last month due to us hitting a dear on the interstate. Of course, we had bought our '13 Malibu in December 2012 from Bob Grimm's and loved it, so of course they were our first choice in replacing our totaled vehicle. We called our salesman, Larry Haste and told him what was going on, that we wanted to replace it with a 2015, gave them all of our "wants" and they went out and found us the perfect car.A few days later, they had our car found and drove to Indiana to get it. We went in to sign papers, got a better deal financially and the finance manager, Jim helped us deal with our GAP insurance coverage on the totaled car. I feel that they all went above and beyond for us. We have been purchasing cars from Bob Grimm for a number of years and will buy future cars there as well.We highly recommend them for all of your car purchasing needs.

During a whirlwind of a week this dealership took great care of me. I wasn't expecting to have to look for a new car for a few more years but a deer took care of that decision. I ended up purchasing a certified used 2014 Chevy Cruz and the customer service provided by Rick and the team was phenomenal! I was in a tight spot and they were able to help me out. Rick was very friendly, personable, and easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. The financing department was even able to work with me as my insurance check for the down payment was slow moving. I was able to drive away in a car I love the same day my insurance company stopped paying for my rental vehicle. It was nice to be able to have everything happen so quickly just when I needed it. Just bought a used Mustang. "As is", however lasted 6 days and about 120 miles before the radiator sprung a leak. Asked whether they would take care of labor and I would pay for all parts and after waiting away a day to hear back, finally contacted them again and got told it was my problem. I wouldn't listen to anything their website or advertising says.They come off that their customers matte, however when a reasonable issue arises, they don't wish to be fair.All about the show of caring without any actual deliverance of meaning it.

I did not buy my last car there but I took it to Grimms and had it serviced. They treated me the same as if I had bought it from them. We first bought a 2007 Tahoe from Grimm 4 years ago. I had bought several cars from another chevy dealer locally and they had been really hard to deal with as time went by. Contacted Bob Grimm Chevy and bought the 07 from Grey Chappin in 2010. Everything went great and when it came time to upgrade we again contacted Grey and just bought a 2011 Tahoe from him. Its nice to work with a dealer who puts you first instead of trying to get every penny they can out of you. I will be buying a new truck soon and you can bet I will be back to Bob Grimm to see Grey!

I started working with Lucy Elliott after my original salesperson went on vacation. When we spoke, the original vehicle that I wanted to buy had been sold but she offered to find another one for me. I was very specific on what I needed because this was a vehicle for my daughter and she was determined that she wanted the Deep Magenta. Not only did Lucy locate the exact vehicle that I wanted, but she also agreed to have the paperwork ready for me when I got there. That was very important because I was driving almost 2 hours to get there and then had to get my daughter to work at a specific time. When I got there Lucy not only had the paperwork ready for me but she also found me an additional rebate that I qualified for. The finance people tried to get us to write a check we could not cover . Very illegal because they didn't like we had our own financing. And did not trust the bank check we already had . They need to have training on customer service when it comes financing issues mostly which they created. The salesman was the only person that did a good job. The management needs to take lessons from the salesman. Beware of this dealership.

We paid cash for this car and had no trade in,yet we have had the car just over two weeks and they forgot to change the oil,rear brakes was bad,needed to fix dents,a fuel tank problem went bad that cost us 175.00 out of our own pocket,drivers seat needed to be fixed and the car would stop heating when sitting idle,they told my wife it was a Impala problem! I feel that they just sold us the car without checking it over when they got it,and they told us that the paint and seat would be fixed before we picked it up and it was not! Just get the car sold at any cost! I will never buy anything from Grimm Chevrolet again!

Great experience! People were great. I test drove multiple vehicles, then asked about a car on the showroom floor, and they offered to let me drive that car. I accepted and they pulled it outside for me, and were very happy to do so. I ended up loving that car and buying it. They never pressured me into anything, including extended warranty (I had one of their competitors literally try to trick me into extended warranty without telling me. When I caught it and called them on it, their finance guy wouldn't look at me or speak to me after. How sad), for which I was very appreciative. I worked in the automotive industry for almost 20 years, so I'm very knowledgeable about the whole process. Everything and everyone were honest and truthful. I am not unhappy with the dealership. My issue is that I should not have to go to a dealer and pay $80 to have the bulbs changed on my headlights. I bought the bulbs intending to replace them myself and was shocked when I found how much work it was. I will definitely look for a more user friendly vehicle next time.

Lucy was great. I can't say as much for some of the rest of the employees. We purchased a used car. When we drove it we noticed that the alignment was out. We mentioned it and were told they would fix that. They did an alignment and it still pulled to the left. We were told the problem could be the tire and they would not replace the tire. On our way home from picking up the car we noticed the glass on the drivers side rear view mirror was cracked. We were told they would fix it at cost. We would have to pay that. It so happened when we went to have the repair done they did not charge us. We have since found out that the head gasket is leaking, the power steering is leaking and we still have the problem with the alignment. The tire needs to be replaced. It is estimated that it will cost $2500 to fix this car.

We purchased a new Buick from Lucy Elliott at her former dealership and had a very pleasant, professional experience. Even though she has changed dealer locations, she has continued to follow up after the sale making sure we are happy with our purchase. We have reffered two other prospects to Ms. Elliott and will continue to do so because of her committment to serving the customer.

I purchased a new Equinox from Lucy. When I came to Grimm's I was also considering a Nissan Rogue. Lucy's friendliness, honesty, no pressure approach was wonderful and her knowledge of the product was the winning touch. I never even went and looked at the Rogue. A wonderful experience and I recommend Bob Grimm to everyone.

We took delivery of our new 2014 Silverado today from Grimm Chevrolet! What a positive experience buying from this dealership! We have bought several cars/trucks in the past and this by far was probably the easiest hassle free deal yet. My wife commented when we left as to how much she enjoyed working with Lucy, normally she is not too fond of a sales person once the deal is done. We live an hour away from the dealership, so most of the buying experience was done via email, phone and text. Most dealers will not even talk to you this way! We love the truck and the very honest (did I mention hassle free) deal we received! We both stated we would be back for our next Chevrolet! Thanks Lucy and Jamie! From a new customer and big fan.

We were not expecting to buy a new vehicle when we went to Bob Grimm's. They were friendly and helpful and we left in our new 2014 Cruze. It was an easy buying experience. Our sales lady was so nice and she sat in the car with us before we left and helped us learn what all the buttons do and she set up my Onstar phone and I love getting calls in my car without having a cell phone. Great place to buy from.

Purchased a truck from Bob Grimm in July. I had been purchasing at another local dealership until I met the staff at Bob Grimm's. I was impressed by the upfront, fair, hassle free deal I received. Lucy is highly recommended to all. She always greets you with a friendly smile and a hand shake. You can tell she is not just selling you a vehicle, but building a life long relationship with you. I have bought a lot of vehicles before. I walked into the dealership and was greatest with smiles and hand shaking. Had my children with me and they asked about family and was genuinely interested. They gave us the bottom line on trade. Was honest with the process. It is a good Christian organization. We had to order a vehicle and the building process was pleasant. I will go back again and even have people I know to go there. I will never buy a vehicle in Peoria after dealing with a true dealership.

We live out of state and have been buying our cars at a local dealership. However, when communication with the local dealer did not happen, we turned to Grimm Chevrolet, where we had traded in the past. What a treat! Rick Bauman, as well as the rest of the staff, was extremely helpful and our Chevy Silverado is a great truck! It took us to Alaska in late winter snow, pulling our RV up and down hills with absolutely no problems. We would highly Grimm Chevrolet, their wonderful staff and their terrific product.

We are so happy dealing with salesman Rick Bauman that we no longer have to waste our time shopping around at any other dealerships. My wife and I are both confident we can't get better value or buying experience anywhere else. We've bought 3 vehicles overs the last few years and each purchase has been a smooth hassle free, stress free experience. Even when we have to drop in for a quick question it's a fun experince.

It has been 3 years since I purchased my car and I still consider the purchase of it a pleasure. I found the car through an internet search and working with Rich Bauman made the purchase and getting the car from Illinois to Alaska super easy. Buying a used car sight unseen is a little nerve racking but it was exactly as the dealership promised and arrived without a scratch. If I ever buy another vehicle from the lower 48 I will contact Rick first.

We are very happy with our purchase of our used car from the Grimm dealership. The car is everything you said it was, no hidden problems or repairs needed to be made. My parents were very impressed with the car. My only complaint is that when I basically pay you what your asking for the used car your selling you send it off with a full tank of gas not enough to get down the block. My parents who are in their 80's were concerned the car would run out of gas before they hit a service station. While this may not sound like a lot it is to people in their age group..

The mustang i was interested in needed a throttle body fix, and was completed in less than two days. Came in the day after repairs to find car was working as it should. I appreciate the fast fix.

This is the second vehicle we have purchased from Grimm in the last 19 months. It by far has been the easiest car buying experience for me and my wife. Our salesman, Grey, is easy to work with and really understands what we are looking for. With the latest purchase, I went in and told him what I was looking for and waited. It took about 3 - 4 weeks, but he called me with the perfect truck. I got the truck for the price I wanted to pay and they gave me what I wanted for my trade in. Would not hesitate to buy from them again or recommend them to family or friends.

I was searching for a pre owned Chevy truck and contacted 12 different dealerswithin a 200 mile area from my home. The folks at Bob Grimm responded very promptlyand professionally asking more indepth questions and offering suggestion and trucksthat met my specs. As I went through the search process I was updated on thetrucks available and financing opportunities via e mail and calls. As I narrowed downmy choices I made a number of calls and emails requests for information and or pictures and received all information in a timely manner. I visited the dealershipmet the folks I had dealt with via the phone and internet, test drove the truck and purchased it on the spot. While at the dealership I had the opportunity to meet some of the mechanics and other staff members. I was very impressedby the dealership the staff the service I received. I live 155 miles each way from the dealership--made two trips to see--buy and pick up my truck and will look to Bob Grimm formy next purchase-I was treated in the manner all dealerships should operate but very few do. I purchased my vehicle sight unseen 'on line'. The sales person gave me an honest evaluation of the vehicle. This was a great experience. I received pictures and videos of all the details of the vehicle. The vehicle was delivery in flawless condition with extra options. I would highly recommend this Bob Grimm dealership.

Recently bought the third new truck from them in the last three years (2 Avalanches and one Hybrid Silverado). Excellent experience all around. Up front fair pricing and exceptional customer service! They also delivered all three trucks to Indiana (where our company is based). They will be my first and only call in the future.

It is a very friendly dealership where the customer is put first. They have a great service area and body shop. The quality of work done there is par excellent. I have had two cars repaired in the body shop and they came out looking like brand new. I have recommended many of my friends to the dealership and they too have liked the service. The management is always there if there is a problem. You can even talk directly with the owner if need be.
