What a great place to visit! I have to say there is amazing customer service right here in the service department. Aldo really made it a wonderful experience for us. I wanted to share my great experience at this dealership! Sales people here are very professional and helpful yet NOT PUSHY. Even though the whole processing took couple hours we passed time quickly drinking their excellent FREE Starbucks coffee and sharing laughs with our Italian sale rep Joe and also shout out to sales manager Ronny for approving me with the bank and letting me drive off with my dream car which so far exceeded all my expectations! Talk about a fantastic customer experience beginning to end! Aldo did not only provide thorough information about our vehicle from the very first call, but he also truly went above and beyond to ensure all issues were addressed and carefully handled. We purchased extended warranty through a third party, this was our first claim, and we didn’t really know what to expect. Thanks to Aldo it was a breeze, he took it upon himself to contact the warranty company, sort things out with them and provided us with a detailed summary on what to expect. It gets better, you don’t need to pick up your car, they drop it off to you! We then noticed a valve cap was missing. Aldo did not hesitate to drop off a new set the next day. Keep in mind we live 30 miles away from them. Aldo, thank you for your tenacity and commitment, we appreciate you. Ana and Roger!

I recently had some fairly extensive warranty work performed on my 2017 Countryman. While I haven't had it back long, based on initial impressions, I am very happy with the results. My service advisor Mike W. was helpful with addressing my concerns and making sure everything was repaired. I was also impressed with this dealership's communication and daily updates on repair progress. The active reception is a cool concept and it's nice to be able to go over the car with the advisor and foreman while it's on the lift.

came in on Wednesday morning to look at a truck I saw on the dealer website n when I got the was greeted by Jed.. He went n got the keys and a plate right away n after the test drive we went inside got my trade in valued and I gotta say it was the easiest and smoothest transaction I've ever had with a dealership didn't have to spends hours Going back and forth with negotiating. Dan in finance was awesome n got me a warranty on the truck no problem.. This was definitely worth the 1hr n 15min drive out there.. I highly recommend this dealership 100% on buying a car from... I will definitely recommend friends n family to Jed. Thanks again for everything u did and making the process easy n simple Jed.

Irma Christian was very detailed and informative and made us feel very welcome and comfortable since our last experience purchasing a vehicle at another dealership was a nightmare... our experience this time was probably the best experience ever purchasing a vehicle and Irma took the time to go over every detail of the car which I've never seen before ever in a sales person before... to actually sit in the car and program the phone modifications to Bluetooth is pretty impressive,thank you again Irma... Mitch is also amazing for taking amazing care of us with our trade in vehicle which he didn't have to with issues with midus and loaner car.. I'm just over all so impressed with this dealership with the high quality of service and leadership and Valor of just the humanity everyone displays... it makes you regain faith in humanity,thank you again for all the help !! Large inventory of cars and we were able to test drive several Minis without the salesperson accompanying us - which was a big help in our selection process. Our salesperson Alex was knowledgeable; the delivery process was good thanks to another knowledgeable associate, Vince.Our only issue was with an understaffed finance department on the day of our purchase (after the July 4th holiday weekend) which required us to wait over an hour. We decided to return another day to sign the papers and take delivery.

I like to do my own mini repairs but was stuck; I had some problem error codes I could not diagnose. The team at Bill Jacobs found the problem, repaired it and took the time to explain what was needed. They even explained some other problems and recommended how I could fix it on my own. I did and it worked great. Mitch, my service manager, and Mike, my assigned mechanic were both polit and professional.

Walk in see the cars the one we love the one we can afford, no pressure, walk away with the perfect choice; Mini Cooper Clubman. Drove the car 100 miles or so combining Chicago traffic, interstate madness, and suburbia. This is best small car I ever drove. Better than VW Golf and Jetta GT, better the Ford Fusion, Toyota RV-4, Saturn SC2. etc. Economy and performance go side by side without sacrificing comfort and quietness. Give it a try... it is much better then what they say.

Update 5/26 - This is an update to a prior 1 star review. Some background - since I deleted that prior review...they gave us a deal on a Friday, we put 1k deposit down, and made arrangements to drive the 5 hours to Naperville the following day. They changed the deal when we were an hour out. We turned the deal down and headed back to Michigan. We thought it was rather rude that not one person called to see what changed when our salesperson knew we were coming from so far and were already on our way. On Sunday morning we sent an email to all their sales managers and the business manager. When we didn't receive a response by Monday night, I posted the negative review.Well, last weekend we took the long trip again to buy this car. One of their sales managers, Darren, contacted my wife to try to work out the deal. I'm not sure if he was responding to my email, the the lost sale hitting his desk, or maybe even responding from our prior negative review. He was very apologetic and wanted to work a deal out.At any rate, we worked out what I consider to be a fair deal for the car. Darren was very nice - and hey they are a busy dealership. I understand why it might have taken them some time to follow up on a lost sale. Even though we decided to still deal with them after our initial very bad experience. They were really good in some areas and fell short in others. If this review were for their parts department - I'd give it a 5. Parts was great. We ordered some additional accessories - it was easy pleasant experience and they came in quickly. Not only that - they shipped it to us in Michigan AND called to let us know the tracking number. I'd definitely recommend. In regards to the purchase - We bought a 2013 Mini Cooper Countryman S ALL4. We made arrangements to make the drive again and told them we would be in around 1pm on a Saturday. When we arrived - the car looked great. It was detailed and looked as new as they could make it. The salesperson that we originally dealt with was going to get us through the initial paperwork She was friendly. Clearly eager to put the past behind us. The sales manager who got us back came and greeted us as well. Things seemed to be going well - until we had to wait over 2 hours for the finance guy to do the paperwork. I mean, I would've understood waiting if we hadn't made an appt to come in and buy the car. When I've done that in the past - we were in and out in less than 45. Yes, the Mini dealership is cool and they give you free beverages - but I didn't want to be there all day. Especially when driving 5 hours to get there. We didn't end up leaving until after 6pm central. Got there around 1pm. Ah well. The only other issue we had was what I'll call a "misunderstanding" with what we negotiated for the extended warranty. They worked it out - but we had to do the paperwork twice - and show proof of the warrant that was negotiated in an email. I think part of their problem is that they are a big dealership and need some better processes in place to be more efficient. Like - the day they were initially losing the sale - the should have called. Not 2 business days later. The paperwork should have been ready when we arrived. Their salesperson should be able to walk through all the paperwork - not just a finance manager. Yes, they did try to makeup for our initial issue. They were all very nice when we were there. If it wasn't for the extended warranty issue and the fact we had to be at the dealership for hours when they were expecting us to come in and purchase - I'd have given them 3 stars instead. Would I purchase from again - yes...if the deal was right.*******PRIOR REVIEWThe short version of our experience can be summed up by the phrase "bait and switch". They agreed to a deal over the phone that I don't believe they ever had any intention of honoring. It seems to me they just wanted to get us invested enough to just go through with the purchase even if it wasn't what they initially offered. I feel very naive to have believed in a verbal agreement over the phone and given this dealership a $1000 deposit. Even after they reneged on the deal (after we had already driven over 3 hours to get there) no one from the dealership called to apologize or explain anything. Even if they respond to a review - it will just be for show on the internet. I contacted all of their sales managers via email - with basically the longer story I have below and have yet to receive a response.Here is long version of the story if you're interested:We verbally negotiated a deal on a 2013 used Mini and felt confident that our deal would go through as planned. There were mixed reviews on the internet - some good ones so I thought we should take the bad ones with a grain of salt. With faith, we put down the 1k requested deposit and planned our 4.5 hour roadtrip (9 hrs roundtrip) the next day.We should have initially been worried since our salesperson, Irma did seem a little confused about how the CPO warranty works and the remaining factory warranty left. I had already read about CPO and figured the car as a 2013 should have 8 months left on the original factory based on the Carfax report. So, I didn't let her confusion worry me. Irma told us that we would need to put $1000 deposit down since Bill Jacobs would start the certification process in the morning. We put the deposit in over the phone. We agreed to meet with Irma on Saturday at 2pm to buy the car. The meeting was set for later as we would be driving in from Detroit. We added the car to our insurance policy, filled out the credit application, and emailed everything requested to Irma. On Saturday, after we had been driving for over 3 hours, Irma called us. That was when the deal began to fall apart. Irma advised us that the car could not be certified. However, the car qualified to covered under a BMW certified program. Since the car didn't qualify for Mini CPO, they also had to seek other financing. The best we qualified for was 2.1 or 2.5 she wasn't sure, it depended on the terms. We immediately pulled over - since we would need to review exactly what had changed. We asked some questions about what the BMW certification was exactly. How did it compare to the Mini CPO? She focused on telling us what the Mini CPO did not cover. She said most people thought it was full coverage but really it was just a powertrain extension. We were confused because we thought the CPO warranty covered more than just powertrain. Irma said that the BMW warranty was basically the same coverage as a Mini CPO. The more we talked about what coverage they were offering - we began to understand Irma didn't mean a BMW certification - it was just an extended warranty with minimal coverage. So - instead of the CPO vehicle that we agreed to we were now talking about a regular pre-owned with a very basic warranty. Obviously, we were pretty upset because we had agreed on a CPO and that wasn't what was being offered now. We completely felt like we had been given the "bait and switch". We told Irma that we couldn't accept this change and to please refund our deposit. She informed us it would take 6-14 days to process. Since our experience with this dealer hasn't been good so far, I now have to worry about them having our money until the refund comes through. On the long drive home, my wife and I felt bamboozled and ashamed. We felt extremely naive to have bought into a verbal agreement with a car dealership. We should have gotten everything in writing prior to planning a 4 hour car trip. If anything good has come out of this experience, it was that hard life lesson.

Kristin was awesome, got the car that I was looking for, negotiation was practically done via e mail (2 emails) the sale was not pushed on me = great experience from the sale side. With the finances is different story, before you sign look at all the numbers couple of times ask all the questions, do not rush, get all the deal papers and the final price you agree to from the sale deal with you and compere with the financial papers. Do not trust the financial guy 100%.

This is my second purchase from Bill Jacobs and it was by far the best experience I've had buying a car! My sales associate, Dana, was fun and helpful! She loves the cars and it showed! Dana was friendly and laid-back and made the whole process enjoyable unlike most times when you spend all day at the dealership and you've been left unhappy and worn out. Just bought my MINI 1-27-16. Best car purchase experience I ever had! I LOVE MY MINI. I found my MINI online, Dana contacted me within a few minutes, I went in for a test drive and was instantly in LOVE with my MINI. Credit, Pricing, Finance and overall experience was not stressful at ALL. This is very rare compared to my previous experiences at other dealerships. This was the first time I ever visited a MINI dealership and WOW the MINI's are a great car- Very well built, safe and fun to drive. Check them out - they are a lot bigger inside than you would think. It's a classy little car!

We are nearing the end of our free maintenance on our 2013 Mini. I am a bit worried about the expense of maintaining the car once we are responsible for payment, since it will cost about $130 to rotate the tires. Service has been exceptional so far.

The service dept here is excellent. 5 star experience from the time I called to set up an appointment to pulling out of the lot with my car feeling like new. Everyone is extra friendly and helpful (not pushy) and the dealership has a cool modern feel with a showroom full of gorgeous vehicles to ogle. The service advisor was very communicative both via email and telephone. He took care of all paperwork related to my 3rd party extended warranty and patiently explained the estimate. I didn't feel pressured and the prices for the services were fair and competitive. I was happily surprised at the value of all of the work that was performed on my car. I have had other specialty mechanics work on my MINI and feel that I Bill Jacobs provided WAY better service and value. I wish I had brought my car to them sooner but I live downstate (Bloomington area). I was surprised to find out they offer a transportation service at low/no cost that I could've used. They mentioned that their service extends up into Wisconsin as well. They also provided me with a no charge loaner car to use while they worked. I knew owning a MINI (and driving it as hard as I do) would mean some extra maintenance. I'll be taking it back to Bill Jacobs in the future. Thanks again Bill Jacobs team. Happy Driving!

They have a hiker service where someone from the dealership actually drives down to my house and picks up my mini to take it to get the oil changed. The best part is they give me a new mini to drive while they have mine. A week later my mini is back to me safe and sound. Love the mini brand and love this dealership. They do a great job in my opinion.

I think when a person is willing to drive 50+ miles to get their vehicle serviced says a lot about a dealership. Their quality of service is top notch! And their customer service is truly outstanding! Everyone I have come in contact with at Bill Jacobs has been very personable, friendly and truly helpful! The dealer's amenities from their waiting area to the restrooms are always clean and up kept! Just purchased our first MINI yesterday and love it! Our sales person Dana Halligan was wonderful, so was our finance guy, Eddie. Just bought a brand new 2016 MINI Cooper S 4-door hardtop from Bill Jacob's MINI and could not be happier. We got a great deal and the service is top notch. We drove in from the city and were extremely glad we did! This dealership has a huge selection with a wide variety of features and color options in stock. We had been to a few dealers before we came here and we're really disappointed with the selection. Many places were just pushing to build a custom car and wait, but we didn't want to do that so we kept looking. Bill Jacobs had many viable options for us so we made the drive out to Naperville. We worked with Alex and Ronny and they did a great job finding us a car! We originally wanted a 2015 but it ended up not working out, so they asked us to give them a couple days to find one for us and in 1.5 days they called us with two brand new options at a great price. They felt bad about the 2015 not working out and threw in a couple extras (all-weather floor mats, a discounted protection plan, and a discount on the vehicle) to make up for the extra trip out there. Not only did we get a better car for our money, we got a great amount on our trade-in and a super thorough walk through on the features in our new car. It worked out for the best, and we could not be happier with our purchase. The staff members are incredibly friendly, patient, thorough, and very low-pressure. They spent a ton of time with us and helped us find the perfect car for our needs. Would definitely recommend working with this group!!

I was gruesomely nervous to attempt to purchase my very first car, but when my girlfriend and I entered to take a look at my dream car, the Mini, Irma C. immediately came up to offer a friendly greeting and put us at ease. When I returned the following day, once again a nervous wreck, Irma C. again made me feel welcome and like I was among friends. Everyone who works there, Irma C and Ronny, never once made me feel silly for being a first time car buyer or that I was in over my head. They took my step by and step and was extremely patient with all my questions. The lovely and kind man who worked as a finance manager at the dealership, was so nice, I swear he felt more like my own personal financial advisor. I appreciate every single one of them. The experience at Bill Jacobs was fantastic. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and willing to assist as a new buyer. This was my first visit with this dealer and I appreciated the time that took to work with me. The adviser took time to work with me and answer any of my questions.

While we have purchased several vehicles from Bill Jacob dealerships previously, we have never owned a Mini. Our entire Mini experience was fantastic. Kristen was extremely helpful and Professional. We originally were considering a convertible but changed our minds for various reasons after test driving. Kristen was patient and suggested the Mini hardtop we eventually purchased. Our trade-in process was fair and uneventful, a pleasant change! We will definably consider Bill Jacobs again when appropriate.

I am now the owner of a MINI Countryman! Ivan and Kristin were FANTASTIC!!!!!! This was the most fun and smooth car buying experience ever and I had 2 toddlers with me the whole time, while traveling over an hour to just take a look at a car! I really enjoyed my experience with this location. I will be returning each time I'm ready to buy a car. Thinking about trading in my other vehicle now! My wife and I went here to look at a 2009 Lincoln MKX that they had, Rachel the salesperon was very nice and let us drive it and even take it overnight, but we didn't like it very much, they also allowed us to drive a 2011 Cadillac SRX they had there, we loved it and the price was right! I want to thank Rachel and the rest of the staff there, they were very nice to us and very helpful, we will go there again to buy!

My wife and I purchased a used Honda at this dealership. They are not a Honda dealer, but we didn't care all too much as the price was the best around...literally, the best price within 500 mile radius (we checked thoroughly). AND - when my wife found a cheaper price for a similar vehicle, Kevin Jacobs stepped in and brought the price down and threw in a very good extended warranty for a little more $$$ which we wanted. We were given a loaner car to go out to lunch when they were appraising our trade in and came back to seal the deal. Dana Halligan was our sales person and she was fantastic. We spent a good number of hours there but I will honestly say that I am a tough sell when it comes to purchasing vehicles and the folks at Bill Jacobs were accommodating and pleasant throughout the whole process. I doubt we'll need a car in the near future, but when we are on the market, we most certainly will look at Bill Jacobs again. Thanks!

I was very impressed with Dana as my sale personal because she ready work me and my wife through the process of buy the car. She also took the time to inform her manager how well we were very interested in the car. We drove from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin to purchase this car from Naperville,il but upon our arrival at the dealership, the BMW greeters did not appear friendly in greeting us at all.

Never ever buy a car from Bill Jacobs Mini Cooper in Naperville. This happened in September. I brought my car in for service under the maintenance warranty. I spent $1,050 on things that weren't covered. They didn't have a rental car like they said. I told them I needed one because I had a friend's funeral to go to that weekend. I wait at enterprise rent a car until they score me a jeep (was going to be a mini van but I got lucky). It takes days for the car to get in there. They call me Monday and tell me they have bad news. The car had been hit by one of their porters. They never tell me to come and see the damage, they do not file an accident report and they take it to a body shop of their choice without my consent. I'm told it needs a whole new hood. I show up unannounced the following morning and demand to be taken to my car to see the damage. I'm told its just the hood. I show up. The grill is smashed, the headlight is messed up, the hood is buckled and there's a scuff on the bumper. They refuse to do anything besides fix the vehicle. I ask for another car with no accident history or to be compensated for the depreciation of the vehicle (on an accident I didn't cause). They refuse. A week goes by and after contacting the owners daughter through email ......no answer besides they're going to fix it. The manager contacts me over a week later just offering the same. No "hey we will make it up to you" , "we will make this right" , "we want you as a customer" . They tell me the car won't depreciate because they didn't file an accident report (illegal). If the damage was over $1,500 they needed to file a report. It was $2,800. So I go to the police and get report. I have a admittance of guilt summary from the service department and an estimate from their body shop. I call corporate. They say give us three business days and we will make you an offer. A week goes by and I can't get a hold of the contact. I call last week and they say we're not going to do anything for you besides fix the vehicle. No customer service. They're arrogant, incompetent and a shady business. Instead of stepping up to the plate , they're defiant. They screwed up and colluded to hide the damage. No body work was done to my car (I wouldn't let them) , but when I picked it up it was washed. The scuff on the bumper was washed off. DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THESE PEOPLE OR HAVE ONE SERVICED THERE. They think it's the wild west with no accountability.

My first ( and not the last ) time I took my Mini to Bill Jacobs for repairs, I was welcomed in a very friendly and trusting experience from Mr. Bob Horrell. I feel that their service department is very knowledgeable and most of all very honest.

This is my first Mini and I love it. It is tons of fun to drive, and I drive a lot, and it handles really well. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. They made sure that I was very happy before I left. I even had to go back and get my tires filled and the tech was about to leave but took care of me anyway. I will be back for my next car.

My 2012 Mini S windows started to go down of their own volition. The remarkable service technicians worked tirelessly for over a week to determine the cause and find a solution to the problem. Bob (my service rep) was extremely patient with my many calls for status reports. My Mini is repaired, thoroughly cleaned inside and out and I believe I made a new and quite dependable friend in Bob.

My excellent experience began when I scheduled an appointment to see a particular Mini. When I called to say I would be arriving over an hour early (with little advanced warning) I was suprised to find two representatives, Ryan and Ivan, waiting for me with the car pulled up and ready for my review. They asked me insightful questions to ensure that I was aware of all the different model options-offering multiple test drives to ensure I was selecting the perfect model for my needs. When I questioned the right color they were quick to show me every color they had in stock to make sure I was comfortable with my decision. We moved effortlessly into discussing my leasing and financing options and they were completely straightforward and again clearly presented all of my options. There was no pressure and the entire process was comfortable and effortless. The finance manager was great and the financing process was smooth and surprisingly fast. In general everyone I encountered there is truly passionate about Mini which comes through in how they present their cars and how they treat their customers. It's worth noting that the excellent service has not stopped since. I returned to the dealership the next day to purchase striping for my new Mini. I was immediately greeted by the staff and the sales manager came out to ensure I was happy with my purchase and the process. When I returned to have my striping put on the car it was again the same warm welcome. They wanted to ensure I was happy with my purchase and even offered to review any questions I might have about my Mini's options. They are an amazing group and I am thrilled with my car and experience.

Always dealt with Perillo and overpricing, and the nephew says, "lets checkout Miniland" at Bill Jacobs in Naperville, 42 miles away, so we took the journey!!!! Arrived at 8:30 PM, dealership closes at 9.....we see this Beemer Convertible and start to like. The Salesman sees us, and says "how about a test drive?", were thinking, isn't it too late? He say its never too late at Bill Jacobs!!!! Then 5 minutes later were test driving this amazing machine, 15 minutes later Ryan is having our trade-in appraised, 30 minutes later were negotiating an amazing deal, and only 45 minutes later, bought and paid for the vehicle....meanwhile were sitting there with drinks and snacks, and the nephew and I are saying, "This Is An Amazing Salesman and an Amazing Experience-Ryan Schackart Rocks!!!!! Then the sales manager introduces himself, now mind you its after closing time, and then the Finance Manager introduces himself and its 10PM and they closed at 9!!!!. All I can say its, I, will be telling all my patients in the Clilnic, take the trip, meet Ryan Schackart, and drive home in your dream car, because he can make dreams come true. If your not working with Ryan Schackart at Bill Jacobs Mini, your missing out on the best Car Buying Experince of Your Life and the Best Deal!!!!!!!

Being a retired car salesman I dread going to buy a new car but after dealing with Ivan and Kristin my views of this Mini Dealership has changed. I usually have to go back and forth back and forth but Ivan made it a complete hassle free sales experience and Kristin was very knowledgable of my new Mini Countryman. I gave these folks a $500 earnest money deposit on Feb. 12, 2014 to hold a car until financing could be arranged. Financing was declined but my earnest money has yet to be returned. Mike Ruiz, a sales manager, assured me it would be returned to my credit card within 7 business days, which didn't happen, and now, is no longer answering my emails. I guess my next email will need be to the Illinois Attorney General. I'll give Bill Jacobs Mini a 5-star rating for thievery!

Bill Jacobs has a wonderful line of people working for them. I think it was a very honest conversation held with the salesperson. I was informed about the company being a family business, this allowed me to put my guards down. I think that it is amazing someone actually calls you if you miss your appointment. Ryan was my salesman, and he was polite and nice. He picked me up from the airport, since I flew in from St. Louis to look at my Prus dream car. I felt some uncomfortable pressure, from the person who actually charged my credit card, to buy an extra waranty *on top* of the Toyota waranty that the Prius still has. This was a bit annoying. Before buying, I had the car checked out by a private mechanic down the road, who said everything was in top notch condition. I am pretty pleased with the experience and very pleased with my purchase!!

We had an awesome experience buying our car at Bill Jacobs Mini. We called Sales Manager Ivan about a used vehicle and he immediately reserved it for us for the next day. Dana (Ivan's assistant) was very professional answering all of our questions and carrying out the sales process. Ivan entertained us with some hilarious stories including how 6 people acquired about the same car in the few extremely snowy hours prior to arriving at the dealership. I am sure everybody who hears this story laughs as hard as we did. Dana spent an incredible amount of time showing every feature of the car, after the sale. She even participated in helping my daughter reacquaint herself with manual driving. The car has performed great and the price was right The entire process was very stress free and everyone was very friendly. The finance manager was terrific, as well. Ivan Corak and Rachel Luginski were so very accommodating and helpful during the purchase of my MINI Clubman a couple of weeks ago and the purchase of my daughter's MINI Paceman just this past week. This is a correction to my previous review. I had a problem with the car I bought which was not resolved in a timely manner. That prompted me to leave a negative feedback on Cars.com. I was contacted by representative of the dealirship and they are fixing my car at no charge to me. It's not often we see a dealirship that has a great integrity and stays behind the cars they sell. I am impressed with the level of their customer service and willingness to help their customers even when they are not legally obligated to do so. I would highly recommend Bill Jacobs Mini for your next car purchase, new or used. You can buy with confidence here because these guys really want to earn your business and they stay behind their product. Bought a used Subaru Outback here. The buying process was simple and with no pressure at all. There were some issues with the vehicle which I brought to their attention. Their follow up was great, all repairs were done as promised and to my satisfaction. It is rare to see a dealership that truly stands behind their cars and will do everything possible to create a life time customer! Bought a used Subaru Outback from this dealer. During the test drive I have noticed clunking noise coming from the rear suspension when going over bumps. I informed the salesman about the issue and he assured me that they were aware of it and all would be taken care of if I decide to buy the vehicle. Upon further inspection I found out that there was no coolant in the car's overflow reservoir. This could indicate a serious problem with the cooling system and I was obviously concerned. Once again I was assured that the coolant issue would be resolved upon taking delivery. Everybody seemed nice and professional so I decided to go ahead and proceeded with the purchase. The buying process was OK. I was a cash buyer and can not comment on their financing. My problems started as soon as I left the car for the above mentioned issues to be corrected.The Outback spent almost a month in their service department. They were waiting for parts, then the mechanic who was working on my car was unavailable, etc.. That would not have been a problem if the car was fixed properly. When i finally got it back, it was still making the same noise and loosing coolant. I have called and emailed Mike Ruiz to inform him that the problems still persist. He assured me that the Outback was taken to a Subaru dealer and no problem with the suspension or the cooling system was found. About the noise, he said that it should disappear as soon as the weather warms up. I decided to take the car for a third party inspection, something I should have done before even considering buying it. Guess what? The Outback needs new struts on all four corners with the rear struts being really bad. The oil has completely leaked out, making the car unsafe to drive, especially at highway speed.The coolant loss was caused by a leaking radiator hose, rather easy fix. Still can't understand how a trained mechanic would miss such obvious symptoms? Needles to say, I am not happy with my transaction at this dealer and would not recommend buying used from them. If you do decide to buy, please have a third party to inspect the car. I am about to spend over $1000 to get the car up to a decent condition. That should not be the case when you pay retail price for a vehicle and when you buy from a reputable dealer. Bill Jacobs Mini claims to be one. Not in my opinion.

Went to dealership and was snobbed by everyone in the main greeting area upon entry. Not customer friendly at all!! I felt uncomforatable the entire time I was there. The car I came to see wasnt not able to test drive, only could walk around it....COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME. You'd think someone would have told me prior to that appointment, especially when they call and email to confirm I'm coming out. I really hate to down a local business, but this experience was horrible. Guess if youre wearing jeans and hat, dont bother coming this dealership!!! You wont be taken seriously. Even emailed my primary contact and he hasnt bothered to follow-up. GREAT DEALERSHIP!!!

There was no pressure to buy they just gave me all the info. about the car(carfax ect.) then gave me the keys and let me take it for a drive. I know I want the car after I drove it but my furnace went out at my house. They told me to got take care of my house the car would still be here tomorrow. All the people I dealt with were very helpful. I would strongly recommend they best car buy experience! Thank you to Dana, Mike, Dan and Denise!

Dana, Ivan, and Konstantine are the rock star trio of this dealership! They make you feel like a person and not just another number walking through the door. After a not so good experience with another sales rep, Ivan stepped in to make my car buying experience a memorable one. Between the initial call to Konstantine and Dana helping me pick out my dream car, this trio was great! Offering their advice, helping me through the process, and even bringing over one of the service men to make sure I knew who I would be working with at the dealership. These 3 were top notch and deserve a HUGE pat on the back! Recently bought a used car there. Fairly quick process. I was able to negotiate a decent deal for both of us. They did a nice quick detail on the car while it was being washed. Did notice there were almost 20 miles more on the car after my test drive from an hour before so that kind of bothered me. Besides that Dana who helped me was great. She was super friendly, no bs. We got to work and within a hour and a half I had a new car. Definitely recommend seeing her when you get to the dealership

My experience with the Bill Jacobs dealership in Naperville was first class. I was afforded the luxury of test driving several vehicles all at a moments notice. The sales team were fantastic and bent over backwards to find my ideal model and spec. I never felt pressurized, it was a great experience. I was given a thorough run through of the car and all of its functions. I love my MINI and I love this dealership, I'm extremely happy I have a relationship with them and this incredible brand. The financial aspects were seamlessly easy and fast and the team ensured I received the best rates and deals possible. 10/10!

I visited Bill Jacobs MINI after previously having a poor experience attempting to purchase a MINI at another area dealership. Sal Santiago and John LaRock worked to provide me with the perfect car and a great deal. The entire experience from initial greeting to delivery of my new vehicle was handled professionally and efficiently. Both fellows followed up with me after the sale to make sure I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Bill Jacobs MINI and particularly these two guys to anyone interested in purchasing a MINI in this area.

Came in for a recall and came home with a brand new countryman. My wife loved her Cooper hard top. So to sell her a new cooper was no small feet. They even let us take the car out for dinner! It was just a great experience. Maybe thats why we've bought our last two cars from them.

Rachel spent time with me when I was "just looking" last summer. When I returned 6 months later, she again spent the time it took to answer my questions with no obvious sale in sight. I bought exactly what I wanted on my second visit. There was no high sales pitch or pressure to buy. It was a high quality experience.

There was no hassle in any form with my experience purchasing this car. Kyle was not pushy, while at the same time seemed genuinely interested in both the MINI product, and in ensuring that I understood all of the operations and features that came along with the car. I would highly recommend this salesman and dealership, and will look their first for my next vehicle.

This was one of the best car buying experiences ever. Tim did a great job providing as much information possble in advance. With the specs I sent him, Tim had one primary new, one alternate new and one alternate used veheicle available. The whole process went smooth and finance finished out with a great expeience.

I recently purchased a new mini cooper hardtop from your store. I am so happy with the car and the whole experience buying it. Kyle was awesome! Not only did he thoroughly explain all the features on the car, he even helped me sync my phone to the bluetooth. He was extremely knowledgeable about the cars, and I never felt pressured in any way. I had the most pleasurable experience buying my MiNI from this dealership. My sales person was very knowledgeable, guided me through the process without being too pushy or aggressive, was very courteous and professional. The whole car-buying process went smoothly, I did not feel rushed at any moment, and everyone I had to deal with seemed to know what they were doing and how to take care of me as a customer. Great customer service, little to no waiting time, highly professional and smooth operating sales team. I haven't had a chance to see how their service works, judging by mixed reviews on this site it is hit or miss, however the sales department gets my five stars for treating me like a customer should be treated. Special thanks to their General Sales Manager (I believe his name was Rafael) who personally came out to greet us and make sure we were taken care of, he seemed to have a good understanding of customer needs and was genuinely interested in ensuring his team provides us with top-notch customer experience. Despite being young, he seems to have a good grip on the whole process and a lot of experience, which is clearly evident in how professional and customer oriented his team is. Outstanding experience, start to finish, everybody - sales team, finance and sales managers - Great job! Very, very happy customer

I was having issues with the airbag light in my 2003 MCS. I read Mini extended the warranty on this specific problem. I took it to Bill Jacobs at Naperville and they lied about it and tried to charge me ~$1000 for it, after letting me sit in the waiting room for 4 hours. I went to Patrick Mini at Schaumburg, and sure enough, I was right. It's covered by the warranty. They fixed it on the spot in 30 minutes, free of charge. I still get angry when I think about it.

In December, I took my MINI in for its service and the third warranty replacement of the timing chain. Once I arrived, their was no one there to help me. After ten minutes of so a service writer showed up and rushed to open a work order (not near closing time). I left my car and took a loaner as prearranged. The next day I call to follow up with my service adviser after not getting contacted by him. I'm told my car will not be ready so I explained the inconvenience this causes me given the five-hour round trip commute to the dealer - sorry, we don't have the techs for this is the answer I get. I extend my hotel stay to accommodate their scheduling. Several hours later, I get a call that my car will be done today. So I adjust my plans to stay close to Naperville so I can pick up the car. The couple of hours needed to finish the job turns into several hours. I end up wasting my evening waiting around on my car. The work is finally done, and I am presented with a bill. The timing chain is warranty work and the oil change is my bill. The total is $250 because there are two hours of diagnostics. I dispute the diagnostics because the only need for diagnostics would have been the warranty work on the timing chain. I am told this is a "standard charge" for a MINI maintenance service. Tired, I relent and pay the charges. I drive away from the dealership and check the oil level as I have frequently seen incorrect fills done by the dealership. Sure enough, the oil level is nearly a half quart over filled. If that isn't bad enough service for you, fast forward two and a half months and the timing chain needs replaced again. Run away from the MINI side of Bill Jabobs. Though I cannot vouch for the BMW side, they are at least substantially more friendly.

New Car sales on the Mini side is hard to deal with. I had a hard time getting a return phone call from many different people from this dealership. I was forced to speak with a sales manager to get any response and was giving to a 2nd sales guy. The 2nd sales guy, James, was very helpful and I did end up purchasing a new car for $25,000+. During the finance sit down to fill out the purchase paperwork, I was given incorrect information that caused me to spend extra money after the purchase. The sales tactics by the finance manager was very high pressure for the extra "services" they can offer with the car.A few days after the purchase of the car, I called and emailed to ask why I was given incorrect information, however no one will return my call/email. I am still trying to get a response from them over a week later.There are many different dealerships in the Chicago area, I suggest a different one.
