I was sold a lemon from a Toyota dealership in Olympia, and found that my entire engine had to be replaced. Today, I stopped by to pick something up in the Service department and asked Service Manager, Maribel Martinez if she could recommend a good compound to rub out paint from the back of my Tiguan and she said with a smile, give me a minute. When I returned minutes later the job was done and the back of my vehicle looked shiny new. Maribel rocks with her friendliness and great customer service, which is so hard to find these days! - happy customer 🤩

I bought my Atlas here and continue to bring it here for general maintenance and such. I always have a good, smooth experience. The service staff is always very helpful and accommodating. I dropped the car off for routine maintenance. The Service Advisor (Roxy) was very pleasant and helpful. When it was done, she called me in a timely manner and gave a very complete description of what was checked and the services completed. All was as she described (I checked before I left the lot). Both the Advisor and the technicians did a great job.

Kirkland was the only dealer that had the car we wanted and was willing to do everything by phone. Edward was great, he had all paperwork ready to go when we got there. Easy car I ever bought.

I had been thinking about leasing a car for a while. I liked the Sign Then Drive program that VW had going on. I contacted a few dealers around town. Kirkland was the first to respond and worked out everything for me through the internet. I dealt with Edward Jenkins. Good experience and I love my new Passat.

I visited Volkswagen of Kirkland to test drive a used car. They showed me the pre-purchase inspection they performed on the vehicle and everything was listed as "Satisfactory", including a line item called "mirrors" despite one of the sideview mirrors being broken. No big deal with the mirror, but I was concerned they said it was "satisfactory" along with every other inspection point listed - no idea what else might have been broken yet listed as "satisfactory". Anyway, the test drive went fine, so I told them I'd be willing to negotiate a price after an independent mechanical inspection. Unfortunately...they told me they do not allow customers to perform independent mechanical inspections on their vehicles. I've been shopping around for a few weeks now and every dealership I've visited so far has had no problem with this. They say "sure", hand you the keys, and ask when you'll have it back on their lot to talk about the price. Every used car buying guide recommends performing an independent mechanical inspection, and every used car buying guide also says to steer clear of anyone who isn't willing to let you perform one. I will be steering clear of Volkswagen of Kirkland. Overall experience wasn't necessarily "Bad" but it certainly wasn't "Good" either. I just wasted about an hour driving each way to see the car and didn't think to ask about a policy regarding mechanical inspections because I've never worked with or heard of a dealership who has such a policy. I would rate any dealership with such a policy the same in terms of the used vehicle purchase experience.UPDATE:After posting this review, the general sales manager called to inform me that they do allow mechanical inspections and that the manager on duty at the time was mistaken. Unfortunately, this does not make my overall experience with Volkswagen of Kirkland better to the extent that I can change this from 2 to 3 stars.
