Konstantin is amazing, and so is the whole experience we had at this dealership! There were no hidden fees, no surprise stickers and finishes that other dealerships force into paying thousands for, the staff was friendly, courteous, patient, and extremely helpful! From walking in and speaking with the smiling front desk lady and to closing the deal with a sweet finance manager we felt we were treated in the best possible way. Konstantin ensured the process was smooth and very transparent all along. We are recommending this dealership and especially Konstantin to all our family and friends!

Great experience at Victory Subaru. We came in disappointed after visiting other dealerships in the area. Market is tough right now and other dealerships were just trying to take advantage of the situation. At Victory Subaru we were given freedom to roam around without pressure. Once were we ready to talk to the salesperson Konstantin was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We test drove 5 cars to choose a model we liked. He handled everything timely, kept us up to day and once delivery day came everything was smooth. Finance manager was great as well, from my previous car buying experiences I expected two headed monster in the finance office but he was prepared with all paperwork ready, did not push anything and we were done in 10 minutes. Overall great experience from walking in to driving out in a new car. Thank you.

Chris was so helpful in making sure we were comfortable and all our questions were answered. He gave us private time to discuss the car as to not make us feel pressured. Craig, the finance manager was equally as enjoyable to work with. Both guys are *aces* and I would not hesitate to buy from them again!! Currently shopping for a new vehicle and decided to stop by this dealership out of curiosity. Am usually a Toyota and Honda fan but was told that Subaru was an awesome vehicle to own. Came to the dealership and was greeted by a gentleman names Louis Hernandez. He showed me several cars and went over each one -- compared Toyota and Honda to their vehicles and gave me a background of Subaru. He was indeed informative and did leave with useful information. I unfortunately did not leave with a vehicle but will keep them in mind when making my final decision.

I bought a new Subaru Crosstrek at Victory Subaru today. It was a great process. I went in, told them what I wanted, and I soon had exactly what I ordered. The salesman, Louis R, was great. He showed me everything about the car and even helped me get out of the parking lot after the deal was done. This is the third time I've bought from Victory. In 2008 I bought a Legacy, and in 2010 I bought a used Subaru Forester. I'd definitely go back.

I was at the dealership with a close friend of mine. The gentlemen we dealt with was Louis Reynoso who sat on the first desk against the window. I am also in sales for a living and I know how it is to deal with different personalities. The way he worked with my friend and I and properly explained everything to make sure he knew what he was buying was exceptional. Although sales reps have a rough reputation he did everything to prove us wrong and drop our guard. I want to make sure that i give credit where credit is due. People are always quick to post about how bad their experience was but will not shine light on the great ones. I want to also say thank you to the managers at the dealership who made the process as easy as they could for us! This is the top subaru dealership in the state make sure to go there and ask for LOUIS REYNOSO! They are running a great operation!!

The managers Jose and Jesus are stand up guys and so their best to address any concern you have..LOUIS was my salesman,cool guy and didn't pressure you into buying and real up front on getting you a fair deal.Also dealt with Chris the service manager is excellent .I had one of the speaker covers pop up on the dash and he made sure it was fix and ordered me a new piece.. I have bought cars from Lexus of Edison, Ray catena Infiniti , Honda of freehold , Open road Honda , Brad benson and this is by far One of the best dealerships who it comes to customer service and customer satisfaction .The "new" management really goes above and beyond to make every customer 100% satisfy with their purchase.They understand what most dealerships seem to miss, that's is all about customer satisfaction even after the sale.I had a on going issue where I felt I was "scammed" into purchasing cilojet and nitrogen when I ask I didn't want it and the old finance manager put in the contract with out itemizing it and he even told me that I wasn't charged for itNot until I got home and look at the number I saw something didn't add up..The old manager Vic just played games telling me that it we would have to wait for Ryan the old finance manager because he did the deal .Ryan was never around, and just recently both Vic and Ryan were left go ,wonder why...

I had an issue with some service performed on my vehicle. When I brought it to the attention of the service manager. He dealt with it a very professional manner. He communicated with me immediately and addressed the issue to my satisfaction. Really liked it the environment from the moment I walked in. Was greeted by a very friendly reception and salesman came over to me pretty quickly. I didn't have to wait Long at all for Saturday. I was being helped within 4 to 5 minutes. Unfortunately I did not end up buying a car from Subaru because it was just not in my price range but I would definitely recommend. Jesus Guzman was very pleasant and informative. He was patient and extremely willing to agree to a fair and honest negotiation so that all parties were pleased. We completed the process in a very reasonable amount of time but never felt rushed or pressured. We have had past experiences where we were in the dealership for several hours and the experience was exhausting. This went very smoothly and we were on the road in less than 2 hours. We have driven Hondo CRV's for 15 years so we were not convinced that we would be ready to make a change. Subaru has such an excellent reputation for safety and reliability that we decided to give it a try. After meeting with Jesus, we were convinced that this was a wise decision. I liked that there was no pressure to buy. It wasn't a "one day deal" and if I didn't buy immediately the deal would be gone. The sales manager Bill and finance manager Ryan, were great. Once I knew which model I wanted it all came down to the $$ and initially we were too far away. I left Bill with my "all in" price that I wanted to pay. A couple days later, I received a call from Ryan and we were able to reach a purchase/sale price that I was satisfied with.

very easy to pick out a car that fits our budget. Great staff in all of the departments, sales, finance, office, motor vehicle, detail, parts and service. Bought car at Victory Subaru and then had parts order accessories, and service installed accessories like the remote starter. All items done fast and on time at the exact price promised. Detailing department made the car look perfect which is had to do with a dark color.

I have never had a worse experience at a dealership.. Long story short.. they are understaffed and they have horrible communication skills. I ordered a car, and after 2 months the car finally came in.. after a little phone tag we finally made an appointment.. however in btwn- we had made a few calls w/questions and to confirm appts and not one of those calls were relayed to our salesman. After coming in and waiting 3 1/2 hours w/o being taken care of- we left- with no car, but the dealership still had my deposit. A promise was made to call us to go over numbers the next day and they were going to bring the car to me... and b/c of the 'inconvenience' they would make it worth our while... Not only did no one call- we had to hunt them down... they changed the price of the car, lowered the amount they were going to give me for my trade in, and took a week to credit me for my deposit (which was to ONLY be used to order the car, not down payment). They made no effort whatsoever to make this sale.. which proves to me their customers are not important to them. I would never buy a car from them, no matter how low the price.. if their sales dept is this bad, I can't imagine what it would be like to get my car serviced there.. I am not signing on for that kind of headache- No thanks Victory!

I live in Central NJ and this year (2015) the winter has been unusually brutal. Our family of five consists of two adults and three kids. We decided to trade in one of our minivans for a crossover, since often myself or my wife travel with three kids, or we travel a short distance for a visit to friends or an outing. That is why we decided that a crossover would provide sufficient space, as well as mileage advantage over a minivan. My choices were Subaru Forester, Honda CR-V and Nissan Rogue. Since the vehicle was going to be for my wife, who travels close to a 100 mi daily for work, safety and comfort were also of great concern. Subaru provided all of the features at the lowest price, with comparable mileage. Our salesperson, Michele C. Chevalier was outgoing, helpful and knowledgeable to answer all of the questions, as well as attentive to our specific needs. Sales experience was outstanding, with minimal of the usual back-and-forth bartering. The vehicle was ready when promised, and my wife is very happy with her new ride. She felt very confident driving the Forester during recent snowstorms, and we are confident with service, provided by Victory Subaru, a family-owned business, that has been in our area for many years.

I was in the market for a new subaru. Looking at the new crosstrek but there wasnt one on the lot that I wanted to but. Walked inside to speak with a salesperson and the luck of the draw gave me Jennifer P. She was so very helpful and down to earth. At no point did she try to jam any of the cars in the lot down my throat. After speaking with her manager she told me that they would locate the car I wanted and get it in. She kept me in the loop every step of the way. It was like a countdown clock for the arrival of a child. When my car was in the lot she called and was so excited that I ended up leaving work to pick up my new xt.

We dealt with Geno and Carlos during the purchase of a used car for my daughter. After the test drive, I noted that the front brakes obviously were in need of service. Geno assured me that the brakes were good and serviced and that what I was feeling was "rust on the rotors" knowing that this was for a teenage girl. He also assured me that we had a 30 day warranty according to NJ law. The next day I found out that the car needs brakes and rotors all around costing approximately $1,000, has a transmission leak, and needs a new battery along with belts. On our way out, after all of the papers were signed, he grabbed our pink carbon copy of the contract, put the contract back together and wrote "as is" on the contract. He then handed my husband a pen and said "here, quick just initial this before you leave". He had my husband initial the "as is" on the contract therefore negating the 30 day warranty. Whenever I call the dealership, Geno is with a customer and Carlos is unavailable. Apparently, once they get the money you are no longer a customer. Please think twice before dealing this dealership. If they are willing to put a teenager in an unsafe car for a sale I would be wary.

I came into victory Subaru my first time being interested in the 2014 forester and the 2014 outback but did not know for sure so then right when i walked in sales consultant tony approached me right away with a warm smile welcoming me into victory Subaru and then i went ahead and told him my situation. tony then took me to the outback which was already in show room so he took his time showed me inside and out of outback which i really liked. Then tony took me to the forester which was also in the show room and again went over the whole car. i liked more of the forester because of how tony explained to me that forester has more head space which i was looking for. over all my experience was just absolute exceptional and i recommend this dealer ship to everyone!! the sales manager Gino was also very nice and warming and treated me as if i was at home bringing me water and etc which i felt was very important because not many dealerships do that .. all in all my experience AT VICTORY Subaru was fantastic .. thank you tony and Gino for your guys support :-)

I loved my 2005 Outback,purchased here, and returned to this dealership when it was totalled. I received friendly but unintrusive help from many staff members as I browsed the new models inside and outside on the lot. Jenny took me for my test drive and when I decided to buy, made sure that the coordination between my insurance, Subaru and MVC went smoothly. I was kept promptly informed via email and phone as the documents arrived and pickup/purchase was negotiated. This was great, as I changed my mind about how I wanted to finance in the middle of the process. I liked that I got introduced to the staff--the receptionists, the other salespeople, Gino the financier, the guys in the service area. Jenny helped me make initial service appointments and everyone made me feel like I was welcome to drop in anytime for a coffee & a chat.

Tony and his boss, who could be bothered to come over and speak with us really missed the boat. They were so concerned with meeting my trade in asking price, they forgot to sell me a car. I would have been willing to work it out on my end, but they didn't seem eager to make a sale. If I sold like that, I would have a client in the world. Really unfortunate, but I'll buy a Subaru. It will just be from another dealer.

I dont usually write reviews but this was the best car buying experience by far. Jennifer was my sales person and I had very specific requirement for my Crosstrek for color and trim level. Jennifer and Bill originally thought it could take up to two weeks to find my vehicle of choice but it took less than a week0. When I came to pick up my car, all of my paperwork was ready to go so the whole process with the finance manager went very quickly. This is the 6th car (and my 2nd Subie) Ive bought over the years but its the first time the GM made a point to come out and thank me for my business. The staff at Victory made me feel very welcomed and valued. Definitely worth the trip.

This was the easiest and friendliest car buying experience yet. Jennifer was my sales person and I had very specific requirement for my Crosstrek for color and trim level. Her manager found my prefered vehicle and had it rady for pick up within a week. Not onlywasa given a great deal on my trade, but they also worked to fit the monthly car payments to my budget. When I came to pick up my car, all of my paperwork was ready to go so the whole process with the finance manager went very quickly. From the time I first stepped through the door until I drove away, everyone was very welcoming. Both managers also took the time to thank me for buying my car there. The experience didn't stop when I left the dealership. I promptly received an email from Jenny thanking me again and another email from th service department welcoming me and providing me with contact info to set up any service appointments. Great job to the whole team.

Please BE CAREFUL if you choose to do business with Victory Subaru (CARLOS ORTIZ- Internet sales manager)Victory Subaru (Carlos) informed us that they have an anniversary promotion of 0% financing on all Subaru models along with free navigation and a price match guarantee. Carlos convinced us to drive 80 miles to their dealership and avail of this offer. Before getting there, I called to ensure that the specific car we wanted was in stock and we were told it was. Carlos also informed us that they could beat or match any price and give us the 0% financing for at least 48 months considering we were top tier credit. Upon getting there almost 2 hours later at our appointment time, Carlos was not at the dealership and we were told then that the car was no longer in stock. Knowing that we were driving for 2 hours ,nobody had the courtesy to call and inform us of this. We were then told that they would no longer match or beat the price (we had a written email from another dealership) and could only do the zero percent financing for 12 months in-spite of having top tier credit. We had a really terrible experience as this was a cheap 'salesman' gimmick to con us into coming to the showroom hoping to close the deal. Despite going through this ordeal they didn't seem apologetic or neither did they make any exception to even 'match' the price or make up in some way.We obviously walked out of there without buying the car, so PLEASE BE MINDFUL before you deal with Victory Subaru and CARLOS ORTIZ.

Although they had a lot of Foresters in stock, we wanted a white turbo which are very limited. Her manager Bill was able to find the car and have it to us within a week. I had been looking for a new car for a while, and after some not so great service at a different Subaru, I came to Victory Subaru. Joe was incredibly helpful, and made sure that we worked around my budget when comparing the WRX models. It was a long decision process for me, and Joe along with the rest of the staff provided me all of the information I needed, as well as give me advice on which car insurance companies to look into for my new vehicle. This is the first car I have bought by myself, without anyone coming along with me, and they made the process easy and were more than happy to explain in depth when I had questions. They valued the trade in that I brought at the price I had in mind for it, and set everything up so that I could drive the WRX home the same night! I recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a great quality of service, because the staff genuinely cares about their customers.

They focus Chryslers I think, and it showed. Fast forward 8 years and I dealt with a Subaru dealership in Freehold. While I know that salesmen are about sales, they don't have to make you feel like it. I was getting my wife into an Impreza and everything was a pitch. I knew the brand, know the cars and their value, so I wasn't looking for a pitch, I was looking for a fair price. This time, Subarus weren't an afterthought for the dealership, they were getting mail billing, but I found the "I'll throw in the mats and an oil change" to be kind of insulting. Fast forward 6 more years and recognize just how far this brand, it's marketing, and at least this dealership have come. I am looking for a Crosstrek XV for my wife and Victory has my business. They weren't even on my radar until a friend of mine mentioned that they were having a pet adoption day a few months back. I decided to take the trip up with my wife and one of my pups and was more than impressed with the experience. The facilities and the staff were a nice change and I was pleased with how well they seemed to fit in with what I most appreciated about the brand as a 13 year owner. The hard pitch didn't exist. I felt at ease and relaxed when talking to their sales department and they seemed to be completely cool with my entire family, dog included, checking everything out. I spoke extensively with a salesrep named John Shin and decided to take a card. I paid John and Victory Subaru a visit last week. My wife and I decided to take the plunge and get into a new Tangerine Orange Pearl Crosstrek. The process was no-pitch painless, I got a very fair price, and Im beyond satisfied with my new ride. Thanks Victory for a great experience!

Arriving at Victory Subaru in the middle of the worst snow storm season in many years, I was lucky enough to get Michelle as my sales associate. She was incredibly patient, spending half a day test driving different model Subaru's with me (and my dog, Gracie) in freezing, inclement weather, as Gracie sat on her lap! In addition to being a lovely person, her knowledge of product and willingness to do whatever was necessary to make this purchase a pleasant experience demonstrates the professionalism of Victory Subaru and their choice of staff. In addition to Michelle, I would like to compliment and thank everyone for the help and consideration shown to me (and Gracie.....) at this time. By the way, my timing was perfect since it has not stopped snowing and my Crosstrek is wonderful in this incredible weather!!

I recently purchased a used Impreza I found online here. It was one of those 12 year old Subarus "that are still on the road today"! I got a response the very next day after emailing them, thank you Carlos. I never felt pressured and the online price is the real deal, no hidden nonsense. It was great, John and Gino in sales were great, professional and friendly. The gentleman in financing (sorry I forgot your name) helped me get the financing I needed. Being a 12 year old Impreza with over 100k miles, it started giving me a little trouble before I made it home. I called them up right away and not only did they fix it at no extra expense to me, but they gave me a free loaner car for the time being. Thanks to John, Chris and the great techs in service, the car is running great. They kept me up to date on the status every day. Also thanks to Bernard? and Joe for taking care of some important documents I had forgotten at the dealership. Everyone there is super friendly and the facility is great. Wish you all the best. We had a very good experience at Victory Subaru. There we found the best selection of Subaru's in the area. We narrowed it down to 2 Outbacks after considering a number of used and new cars. We never felt the stereotypical "car salesperson" approach/pressure, but rather, Michele was patient and walked us through our options. In the end, we chose the right car for us. Price was fair and the service was very good. We're really happy with our Outback and would recommend Subaru shoppers check-out Victory Subaru and ask for Michele. This is our second Outback- the first one has 190k and is still great!

Bought my new 2014 Subaru Outback from Victory Subaru, tried several other dealerships in the area who did not want to negotiate price and it seems did not want my business. Stopped in at Victory Subaru and they wanted my business. I was introduced to Michele Chevalier as my sales person, she was very courteous, low pressure and knowledgeable. It was freezing out as we walked from car to car as there was a large selection it took a lot of time and Michele did not hurry us and never looked annoyed. The Outback is my work car and my other car is a Porsche, my buying experience from Michele and Victory Subaru exceeded that of the Porsche Dealership. Highly recommend Michele and Victory Subaru.

I needed a car since my current commuter car was on its last legs. I live about a 5 minute drive from the dealership and saw a bright blue mini cooper. Everything was a pleasant experience from financing to how little negotiating we did. The price seemed fair and Carlos and the finance manager made it a quick and easy transaction. I began my search for a Subaru way back in April 2013. Being a Subaru fan for years, especially of the turbo powered WRX and Legacy GT, but with a baby on the way, my intent was to look at the new Legacy, non-turbo Impreza, new Forester, and of course the WRX. The day I walked in to Victory, I met with Jennifer, and told her I was looking to test drive the Forester and WRX. I was very satisfied with both test drives, but wanted to experience the Forester XT drive as well, and since they didn't have any in stock, I was going to wait until they did. Jennifer told me she would let me know as soon as they received an XT. She held true to her word and contacted me immediately. I never made it in however, because I thought I had moved onto looking at used Legacy GT's and was almost set on buying one, but never moved fast enough. I even had Jennifer look around for me with no luck. Through months of flip-flopping on what I really wanted, Jennifer never lost patience and not once pressured me or sounded fed up with my "antics." In August, I finally decided the WRX was the way to go, and I had them set out to find a white premium hatchback with some options I wanted. Being that it was late in the year already, Subaru was ready to take orders for the 2014 and the 2013 allocations were limited. Jennifer and Bill never wavered in their search, even when the white premium was not found. I then gave them second and third choice colors, one of which they found: an ice silver premium with navigation. While the deal was good, it wasn't really what I wanted, and again, I changed my mind, and decided then to order a 2014 premium hatchback in white. On November 19, I picked up my WRX. Finalizing the purchase couldn't have gone any easier, and they did a fantastic job getting my car detailed and ensuring all the options were there. Jennifer and the entire team at Victory Subaru treated me well from the beginning, never lost sight of what I wanted, and made sure my experience was second to none. Jennifer was exactly the salesperson I needed for this entire 7 month process. I highly recommend her and the rest of the folks at Victory.

i didnt know what to expect when i walked into what appeared to be a small dealership. to my surprise it was better than i could have expected. i had the luck of ending up with jen p as my sales person and couldnt have been happier. she was so knowledgeable, friendly and truthful. i will suggest victory and jen to all of my friends and family.

My partner and I stopped by Victory Subaru to take one more Forester test drive. Our intention was to purchase a used Cross-Over and we were just confirming that the Forester did not have what we were looking for. Due to physical issues, we both need a higher passenger seat and more than normal leg room, in addition to wanting heated leather seats, a moon roof and hopefully a color other than white or black. We had already been at other dealerships, including Subaru, and were unimpressed with the service and knowledge, in addition to feeling overly pressured into buying on-the-spot. As soon as we walked in to Victory Subaru, someone was already approaching us and for a moment we were afraid this would be one of those hard-sells with people pushing us into purchasing something. We were very wrong. We were taken over to our Sales Person, Jennifer Piechota. My partner and I had just worked a night shift so we were babbling about our issues and what we were looking for and wanted. Jennifer couldn't have been more knowledgeable and patient. She let us test drive the 2013, on our own and for more than a mile, which was very refreshing and gave us the privacy to discuss the experience without the awkwardness of having the sales person in the back seat. Although the 2013 was nice, it still didn't have the passenger seat height and leg room we were looking for. Without pressuring us, Jennifer let us drive the 2014 Forester just to make sure it too didn't have what we were looking for. Again, we were so wrong. The 2014 Forester not only had the new transmission, the passenger side seat was much higher, the leg room was remarkable, it had a panoramic moon roof, and Victory Subaru custom makes the leather seats which were heated. Imagine our surprise as we came in knowing for certain that we wanted a preowned cross-over and now we were considering a new 2014 Forester. This change in direction put me in a slight panic because I was unprepared for purchasing a new vehicle and felt like I didn't have all the information I needed to make a good decision. Had we been pressured or given the typical "lip service" so many dealers give you just so you'll make a purchase, we would have left. Instead, Jennifer's patience, knowledge, humor, and genuine kindness, worked us through the entire process. She answered all our questions, gave us time to just stand in the lot and think, worked with us on extras and add-ons and never once made us feel rushed or pressured even though we were there for almost 4 hours. In the end, we purchased a 2014 Forester Premium. In addition, the dealership itself has a very friendly environment, like a family. Jennifer took us around and introduced us to numerous people, including the service manager. Everyone was friendly and helpful and you got the distinct feeling that these people enjoyed their jobs and really cared, about the customer and each other. I've since had to pick up my new plates and bring my Forester in for a minor fix on the Moon-Roof . Again I was impressed. I received an email reminding me of my service and while there, the Service Manager, and others, actually remembered me and addressed me by name. I had my old VW Jetta since 1998 and not once, for any service, did VW email me, call me, or remember my name when I came in for service. Victory is definitely ahead of the game in all areas, especially customer service. Jennifer and the folks at Victory are awesome and I would not hesitate recommending Victory and Jennifer to anyone. We have already passed on our exceptional experience to family, friends and co-workers. We look forward to having Victory Subaru as a partner in the years to come. As a side note: 2 days after picking up our Forester, we were almost hit head-on by a girl avoiding a deer. Her car almost flipped. Our Forester handled beautifully!!!

I was interested in a particular car which I saw in the afternoon. I called the salesperson in the evening to discuss price. She called me back in the morning saying they could meet my price and that I should come in. It was almost an hour ride so I was asking for a guarantee that they could meet my price--she assured me that they would. When I got there, I was told the car I wanted had been sold the previous evening. They didn't even have the car that I had driven an hour for and they outright lied about it. But she said that they would find another comparable one on the lot. There was no such car! Then they said they could get the exact car in that I wanted. The price: $2000. more than she promised! The deceitfulness of this dealership was beyond belief. I would NEVER buy a car from them. I actually felt sorry for the salesgirl who was being trained to do business this way. Instead I went to All American Subaru in Old Bridge and dealt with Jon Zois and was very pleased. They met the price and were wonderful to deal with. No bait and switch!

I've made mistakes which have heavily impacted by credit. Ive been driving my old beater car around for so long and desperately needed something safer and more reliable. I went to Victory Subaru on a couple of occasions to test drive the Impreza and Crosstrek. Both Bill and Jennifer took the time to help me and I chose the Imprezza. Getting approved for financing was more difficult based on my credit but Bill and Steve both worked extra hard to get me an approval. The banks may have to been so friendly with their rates but at least I now have a new car and a chance to rebuild myself. Thank you to the Subaru staff for your time and patience.

We had purchased two vehicles from this dealership, back when they were known as Somerset Subaru. They were a small store, and seemed thrilled to earn your business. I never had any reason to complain. That was then - this is now; a week ago my son, after spending some time with a salesman, decided he wanted to give back his Legacy for a new Imprezza. He chose the exact vehicle on Friday, and was told to come back in to finalize the deal on Saturday. These guys are incompetent, under-staffed, and rude. They sent my son/wife home on Sat, because they were unprepared to complete the deal, asked them to come back Monday. They don't return phone calls, you practically have to beg them to buy a car? The name might be Victory Subaru now, but Embarrassing Subaru might be more appropriate.

We were looking for a new, safe vehicle for our daughter. After seeing all of the articles on the news and reading consumer reports, we decided to check out the Forester. The first dealership we went to barely had any to choose from and tried to force us into one that we weren't completely in love with so we decided to look other places. We saw how many foresters Victory Subaru had listed online and went to see what they could offer us. We were introduced to Jenny who walked us through an entire field of Foresters. We found the style and color we wanted. My daughter was even allowed to test drive the exact vehicle that we were interested in buying her. She absolutely fell in love with the car and we felt comfortable with her driving it. We were given a great deal on her new car. Bill handled all of our paperwork smoothly and everything went much quicker than expected. Before leaving, one of their manager (Dalton) took the time to say hello, extend his thanks and give us a bag of goodies. We much appreciated the manager personally shaking our hands and making sure we were happy with our purchase. Great team of people, thank you for the great experience. We are glad we chose to drive the further distance - well worth it.

First stopped by on Oct. 5th just to look at my options as a first car purchase. I already knew I wanted a Subaru but was undecided among the 4 door sedans, and even between used and new. After maybe 5 minutes of my dad and I looking at the models in the lot, Michelle, one of the sales consultants approached and talked to us about what's available. After several test drives, I had decided on a 2012 Impreza that we paid a "holding fee". Two days later we started negotiating the bottom line of the Impreza and the trade-in of my old car with the manager. After all the paperwork was signed despite the hassle of my living out-of-state and the last-minute requests arranged, we met the chatty Walter, John and Chris who would take care of services then I drove off the lot with my new car. The whole time I felt so at ease and felt no pressure at all, I sort of thought buying a car couldn't be this easy. I would unhesitatingly recommend Victory Subaru for anybody on the look out for a great car with a fair price.

Dealership was clean. Everyone said hello just in passing even after you were working with a salesperson. Service manager answered all of our questions regarding maintenance (my husband is a car guy). Another sales person helped me set up my blackberry so I could start to use the Bluetooth option while our saleperson finished her paperwork. The dealership has an overall "Teamwork" attitude. I just happened upon this dealership (Victory Subaru) through an Internet search. I was looking for a particular color/option equipped Subaru Crosstrek and none of the car dealerships in my immediate area had what I wanted. Victory Subaru in Somerset, NJ had the car I was interested in. I made contact with the Internet Sales Manager Eric Cake and he went out of his way to confirm that the vehicle was both in stock and had the options I wanted. He was very personable and did not pressure me to come in. Because of his professionalism, I chose to drive about 40 mins to this dealership rather than continue dealing with ones located less than 15 mins from my home.When I got there, Eric greeted me in a genuinely friendly manner and turned me over to salesman, John Shin. John was a very friendly and sincere person who did not use any pressure tactics while I checked out and test drove the car. John was down to earth, sincere, and knowledgeable about the product. Because I was able to view and drive the car without distraction or pressure, I could really focus on the car and how it performed. I then sat down with John and began negotiating the price, terms, etc. (This is the first NEW car I ever purchased and the thought of how the process was going to play out was something I had always dreaded, but in a reasonable amount of time, I drove away with a new car, a great service contract, and a relationship with an excellent car dealership.)The next day, I contacted Victory Subaru about adding two body options to my car and was informed that because I had purchased the vehicle from them, I would receive a discount on the price. The representatives in the service department were very friendly over the phone and were very accommodating. I made the appointment for the next day.I spent several weeks researching different makes/models of cars, visited many dealerships, spoke to many different salespersons, and it was after visiting Victory Subaru that I finally felt comfortable making this purchase. Up until my visiting this dealership, actually "buying a car" did not feel "right".

If you are looking to buy a Subaru I would recommend getting it from Victory! I was helped into a pre-owned car by a fantastic sales woman (Yeah I know, how rare is that!) Her name was Jennie. I would personally ask for her in person if I was you. This was my first time buying a car and it couldn't have been better. I got a preowned WRX from jennie and I love it. They made the car fit my budget and their service tech was able to buff out a couple of scratches I saw on the bumper. When I asked to see the carfax, they showed it to me without a problem. Just wanted to write that this dealership is awesome. I drove 60+ miles to the dealership from PA for the purchase of my 2008 WRX STi. I was worried I was going to drive there for nothing. Since I don't have the best credit in the world, I had a co-signer help me obtain the car I wanted. They knew this before I arrived there. They treated no different than any other customer that came in the door. They helped me obtain the car I came to get. I was able to drive away with it the same day. They worked with me on my trade and the purchase of the STi. Everybody was very professional and curtious. My salesman, Joe, was great. Had a great personality and made the car purchasing experience easy. Eric, the Internet Sales Manager was fantastic. He had a smile on his face from the moment I arrived and the moment I left. He followed up with me 2 days later by phone and e-mail about how I'm liking my purchase. Not just Joe and Eric, everyone who I spoke with was very nice and easy to talk to. I read reviews about this place AFTER the purchase of the car. I did not want to go in with a bad taste walking in the door. It may or may of detered me from making the 60+ mile drive to Victory Subaru. But after being one of their customers, don't listen to the negative feedback you may have read. My salesman Joe was so busy the day I was in, he alone sold quite a few cars that day. So if this place is as bad as some may of experienced, I cannot see what they are talking about. It's not a big dealership, but they are class all the way. There is a Subaru dealership 10 minutues down the road from me, they are 5 times the size of this place and I hear more bad than good. I did not want to do business there, I decided to go to Victory. I wanted to thank everybody at Victory for the wonderful experience. The STi is great and I appreciate all the hard work you guys did to get me behind the wheel of the car.

I have never left a dealership with such a bad taste in my mouth. Typically, salespeople are friendly, knowledgable and take a sincere interest in your car needs knowing that you are going to be spending a lot of money with them. Victory Subaru is the complete opposite. Although Jennifer was very nice, the rest of the employees were just wasting time and being distracting during the sales process. The sales manager did not take into account any of my concerns with the used vehicle I was buying and gave me the run around. I did not appreciate their unprofessional attitude and rude demeanor; this did not make me want to buy a car there which is unfortunate because their prices are good, I am attributing this to the fact that they badger their customers and offer very little for a trade in vehicle. I urge people not to give them business and I hope Subaru gets wind of this and removes them as a dealer of their respected brand.

Buy here, and you are probably going to pay too much. Everything went fine until the issue of price was brought up; the salesman gave me a price (which was high based on Truecar.com), to which I countered with several price quotes from local dealers. I tried to explain that I was only trying to get a reasonable price, not the lowest. He got perturbed and told me that the quotes were meaningless, as was comparing percentage off of MSRP. He then told me that he had a tickler file of about 20 potential customers, and that there was no sales manager that I could discuss price with. He made it clear that he did not care about earning my business. My wife witnessed the conversation. I subsequently shopped around and found a great deal while having the best car buying experience ever. If you care about price, stay away and go to a Dealerrater certified dealer.
