Don't bother with other dealerships, go right to the best! Daniel Thomas is the sales representative for you! If you want a great selection and first class service you will go right to Vandergriff! If you have a question, you get it answered, if you have a tight budget, they will make it happen. I shook that money tree really hard and I was unsure if I could swing it. Daniel and Kennedy Smith made it happen. I even had a question after the car was purchased and off the lot. Daniel went right to the phone and helped me out. Told me if I had any other questions to not hesitate to text or call. Even come by the dealership and he would walk me through the settings. You can't ask for better! Vandergriff Chevrolet; first class service, and a great inventory! You will not leave unhappy or broke! :) 3/2/21- My first service with Vandergriff. I was not overly happy with the service technician but I went in and asked for Daniel Thomas. He dropped everything and took care of my issue. He put in my notes the future technician I thought had better customer service. Jonathan is your man! I also had a comment about my club membership. Daniel went and got Kennedy Smith. He went over everything and answered all of my questions. What did he say, "there are no stupid questions"! :) Anyway, once again Vandergriff was up for the task. Go see Daniel Thomas! He is the best! Question: With your service, do you receive a car wash? Other service places do this and I would like to know if this would be a positive move going forward. This would be a nice addition!

Service Department on 11.20.21.. 1st time bringing my 19 Malibu Premier in to their Service Dept since purchasing it new there in August, 2019. I live/work in Uptown Dallas so its not convenient to drive to Arlington for scheduled maintenance but this visit involved a technical warranty issue so wanted to take it where I bought it. Set my original appointment on line but ended up calling a few days later for further advice regarding the issue. Spoke on the phone with Dusty P.. Based on our discussion he reset my appointment for an earlier time and date and told me to ask for Brandon A. upon arrival at the dealership. I was met immediately by a friendly, professional (greeter) in the service bay who went and got Brandon who came right over. I introduced myself, explained the situation, he called over Cody K. who took over from there. I was really expecting to be there waiting for several hours based on the issue with my car but I was in and out in about an hour and 20 minutes and my issue was covered under warranty. Based on this initial visit I'm rethinking my decision to "not drive so far" for future maintenance care if this is the level of service I can expect. Without going into too much detail and circumstances they really tried to make my time spent waiting as comfortable and minimal as they could. EVERY employee I interacted with from Dusty to the initial greeter in the service bay to Brandon and Cody to the young man who opened my door for me to enter my car upon completion were genuinely friendly, professional and focused on service. Kudos to all involved.

I scheduled an appointment to look at a new 2021 Corvette that just hit the showroom floor the night before. When I came for my appointment that morning, there was a sold sign on the car! I was devastated. Then the sales person told me they were honoring my appointment since I was first to call on the car. I was so impressed and grateful. I did buy the car and drove it home. I felt I was given a fair price on my trade-in and a fair price on the new Corvette. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly if not enthusiastic. I will recommend to my friends looking for a new Corvette or Chevrolet to contact Vandergriff.

They would not honor the online special. They tried 3 times to come up with a higher price than the online price. The last price was still some hundreds higher than the online price. Their response was "That price expired last month and there was a glitch in their system."

I recently bought a used 2015 Ram 1500 pickup from Vandergriff Chevrolet, and feel that they are unwilling to follow up their verbal promises with action. From my experience, if you are purchasing a used car from them that has perceived problems, you should either make them fix the problems, or don't buy the car, because they wont do anything afterwards. The truck had several small dents in it, which I asked the dealer to fix before closing the deal. The sales manager on duty that night said that these were minor, and that I could get these done at a paintless dent repair shop for no more than $25 each. My response was that if they so minor, then why wouldn't the dealer take care of them? (The uninformed consumer should not be put in a position of having to guess about the cost of repairs. The dealership is more knowledgeable than the consumer, and should know this already.) To induce me to do the deal, they offered a $400 discount which they said "should more than cover the cost". I took their word for it, and closed the transaction, only to find out the following day that to fix the biggest dent would require repainting the entire fender, the total cost being more like $600 - $1000, plus me having to take the risk of the other vendor doing a good job. I suspect they knew this already, but misrepresented the cost to induce me to do the deal, which is also why the dealership didnt want to spend the money to fix it to begin with. I came back to the dealership on the second day asking them to help me out. I talked to a different sales manager, asking them to undo the deal, to which they refused. (Many dealers offer a 3 day return policy, but they do not.) He simply said I got such a good deal that I could probably trade it to another dealer and get my money back. If this were true, then why wouldnt this dealer take it back as a trade for what I paid for it, the same as he alleged another dealer would do? Instead he offered to check with their service department to try to help me out on the repair cost, but when I left the dealership no one ever called me back. As they say, "Talk is Cheap". This dealership is apparently unwilling to back up their talk with action.In conclusion, they misled me on the repair cost, and then refused to do anything meaningful to help out after the fact. Please do not let yourself be pressured by money into doing a deal with them. Either make them fix the problems or don't buy the car.

My service manage Cody is the best I've ever dealt with bar none. Had a Toyota Tacoma for 10+ years and switched to the Chevy Colorado. Great customer service. I am really happy with the service I get when I come there. My biggest complaint ishow hard it is to find someone to help with the service. There should be someone togreet customers as they pull up to help direct the flow. Let's see, I made an oil change appointment two weeks ago for a Saturday (8/13/16), and was offered a free car wash. I mentioned I had other issues and was told to wait until I showed up to schedule service for those issues. When I showed up (30 minutes before my appointment) I was told that my assigned service rep didn't work Saturdays, and was sent to 3 different service managers before someone agreed to work on my vehicle that day. Then they told me they could only do the oil change, and couldn't work on any of my other issues that day, since I hadn't told them about it in advance. Argh. My loose bumper would be a 3 day wait, and my A/C issue would be a 14 day wait. And they had no loaner vehicles, so I would have to miss at least one day of work for each issue. I was told neither issue would be covered under warranty, and would cost $109/hr labor plus parts. Why bother having a warranty? So I went to the waiting area. All the chairs were full so I had to stand. No trash can, dirty restroom, no charging port or electrical outlets, no ice machine, very basic. One of the smallest waiting areas I've ever seen. They did have 2 computers and wifi, and a TV with no way to change channels., and 2 vending machines. Writing this review from their waiting room. It's going on 2 hours so far for only the oil change. Let's see if they wash the car with a loose bumper.

The service manager, Daniel Higgins, did a great job facilitating the repairs on my vehicle. The greatest frustration is the process. I do not understand why you would have an appointment and drop you car off four days before a mechanic actually looks at it. My car ended being at the dealership 11 days when it probably should have only been there three to four. Overall, the car was repaired and everything met my satisfaction but it took way too long to reach the end result.

My experience with Vandergriff Chevrolet was just the opposite! I was greeted by a very kind and knowledgeable sales consultant by the name of Roy "Rogers" Simpson. This was my first time purchasing a brand new vehicle and I was a bit nervous. Roy was very patient with me and had an answer to all of my questions. He remained patient, as I changed my mind about the first car that I "thought" I wanted. I was very pleased with the whole experience and I was in and out in no time. I'm not a fan of buying from vandergriff Chevrolet, they make you talk to 4 different people to simply purchase a new vehicle, the process takes all day, and to get an appraisal it took me 2 days to get the amount, I had to call them multiple times to get my appraisal on my trade. Then when I decided on my new vehicle k had to talk to multiple people to complete my sale. I don't like having to spend all day at a dealership when I know the sale can be completed with a couple of hours. But their service department is one of the best dealerships I have worked with. Always taken great care of my needs with no questions asked!

We bought a GMC Acadia with the purchased service plan through GM. We had issues with Vandergriff Toyota in the past and we're leary of the Chevy side. We bought it in Dallas but it was ready for an oil change and other services, so we called ahead to the service dept to make sure there were no issues. My wife spoke Jeffrey at the service dept and explained what we had and needed. He assured us no problem and if brought it in before noon he'd have it out for us by 5. My wife asked if we could ask for him and he responded with no as it is very busy there today. I should've seen that warning sign. We take 2 cars from our home to drop off the car and did so with Skylar. Had the same conversation with her even left the prepaid service book on the car, they said they would get it done but did not know a Jeffrey at this location. We left and about 40 mins later they called back saying they couldn't honor the service agreement that was through GM because they only service Chevy. She was giggling during this phone call, I might add. We asked to speak to service manager, was on hold for another 5 minutes before the immature and unprofessional Skylar came back on the phone saying again they don't service GMC only Chevy. Manager was too busy or didn't care to take 2 minutes out to explain or try to figure out a solution. Like I said before warning signs were there and I should've known better but just confirmed my lack of respect for this place

Quick Service Adviser was great, the 2 hour wait for just an oil change was not great. Last couple of trips to Quick Service have ended up in over 2 hour waits. It is understandable if other repairs/maintenance are being done but just getting an oil change 45-50 minutes max especially in "Quick Service" I'm sure there is a skeleton crew on Saturdays but Im sure it is also one of the busier days of week. I guess things have changed a little since we bought our 1st Tahoe in 2003. Just an observation, still a loyal Vandergriff Chevy Customer

Service rep Jason was very professional and went above and beyond my expectations. Besides dropping my new truck off for regular service, I also had an issue with a plastic fastener in the gas cap area which had broken off and causing my problems every time I refueled my truck. Jason listened to my complaint that maybe the part should be made of metal instead of plastic so it would not break so easily. He then checked to see if the part could be replaced with a metal fastener. When he determined that was not possible he then promptly located the part in stock and had it replaced before my oil change was completed. I believe that is going above and beyond for his customers. Excellent service and experience.

Do NOT buy a preowned Certified car here. I bought a 2015 Malibu in October and the timing jumped on December 30th. They said they saw "signs of water damage" and I needed to get my insurance company involved. The insurance company come in and ran all these test. The air filter was brand new so no water entered it. There was no water in the oil, and they paid for a third party forensic expert to come out who also said there was no water damage. Vandergriff refuses to pay under warranty even when they know there was no water damage. and said that I had to bring in the service loaner the same day or be charged after my car has been in the shop for 3 months. The service guy, Brandon Allen has been very unprofessional calling the insurance people dumb, and saying the forensic experts were as stupid as his car runners. They still have not fixed my car so I am getting a lawyer to sue. I repeat, DO NOT BUY OR FIX YOUR CAR HERE. Very unprofessional and typical car salesman attitudes.

I can not really express how helpfull the Service Department has been in my attempt to solve a problem with my Camaro SS RS. The Service Manager personally researched the problem, and gave me written instructions on how to bring one of the systems that continued to show "not ready" when attempting to get the car to pass inspection. Unfortunately the solution was not found, and it was determined that I would have to take the car to a trained Tuner, and Randy Pascal even found one that he felt could solve the problem, and I have an appointment with that shop tomorrow morning. Even though the Svc Dept was not able to solve the problem, they did take care of a GM recall on my Camaro while it was in the shop. Also, I was given a ride home after bringing the car to the Svc Dept, and I received a ride from my home back to the dealership when the car was ready to be picked up. I purchased a new truck in Houston and after being a Vandergrift customer at a different brand lot, I transferred my service to Vandergriff Chevrolet in Arlington, TX. I scheduled an appointment for 9 am arrived at 8:45 am. It really didn't matter that I had an appointment because, they just took customers as they came. I was advised it would take three hours for my first oil change and tire rotation. Really! I received a call three hours later from Chris advising me they could not find the tire lock key. I told him it should be in the vehicle as the truck was new and the tires had never been taken off. He told me they looked everywhere and couldn't find it. So after waiting half the day, I picked the truck up minus the tire rotation and headed out. After leaving, something told me to look for myself and upon lifting the rear seat I find the key still tie wrapped to the jack. Really! I called to speak to Mr. Williams to advise him of the issue and all he gives me is excuses. Big mistake for he could not have cared less. ! I will try to find another Chevy Dealer or maybe a GMC dealer who cares about the Chevy customer. Maybe it was because I didn't buy my truck from them. Now I know why.

The wonderful service started with Chris Caldwell in the Service area......He worked diligently to get me in and have a specific loaner (nothing big, I'm short and have a cane).......Service kept the car for 5 days but could not find what was determined to be a very small evap leak. I was assured there was no danger and keep on driving. His team also did an oil change and cleaned & vacuumed my car. The car I drive is a 15 year old Saturn that just got 52, 000 miles. It was my 3rd and last Saturn but as long as it keeps running well and the wonderful folks at Vandergriff can keep taking car of me, I'll hang with it a while longer. From the time I entered the facility to my departure, the atmosphere was that of excellent customer service without all the bull! I had just had a bad experience at another dealership 30 minutes prior, and had my guard up. That was completely unnecessary because Awadi was a complete professional and rendered top notch service. My dad was slightly impressed and that's saying a lot seeing as he is an experienced car buyer and is a straight shooter and no nonsense. The only disappointment was that I was told the car had a feature that I had specifically inquired about, and after the purchase was made, later that evening we realized it didn't. I purchased the Malibus LS and the ambient lighting only comes with the LT and LTZ. I understood it was an honest mistake and not done purposely to make a sale. It was a slight disappointment but not anything that made me fell differently about my experience or the sales manager. Still learning the car so we shall see how everything goes.

My husband and I received excellent customer service for the repair of my Traverse's liftgate. We brought the vehicle in for the initial recall issues, and had it been fixed the first time though we would not have had to bring it in for this visit, where it was finally repaired. What prompted us to bring it in a second time was me getting hit in the head 2 times while I was attempting to help my grandchild out of the third row seating, and the liftgate came down. I love my Traverse, but it does see to have too many recalls!

The purchase took a little longer than I wanted, but the customer service team made sure that we were truly satisfied. The car had a minor scratch and the team took it in and repaired it for free no questions asked. If I had a complaint to make is that they didn't offer you a coffee. Took advantage of GM educator discount on a new 5 foot bed with crew cab. Car gets great mileage for a truck, 23 MPG average. Much quiter than the Toyota Tacoma I had before. I brought my daughter's car in to the service department on a Thursday afternoon. It is a pre-owned Ford so they were going to look at it and see if it was something they could fix, if not, they would have to take it over to Ford. It is 24 hours later and I have not heard anything about the status of this vehicle. So when I call, I find out that Jason Holland is not in today and he had to follow up on it. I leave a message for his back up to call me and over an hour later he calls and tells me it's not something they can fix and they have to take it over to Ford, he then tells me it will be Monday before we'll know something??? REALLY?? I have purchase 4 vehicles from Vandergriff and their service department has got to be the worst ever.I will never purchase another vehicle from Vandergriff solely because of their service department!

Do not waste your time with this dealership. I called to discuss buying a vehicle and then closed on the price and conditions. As they were preparing the purchase order and I was about to leave to head to the dealership, they went back on their word and told me I could only buy the vehicle at a higher price than what was given before. The sales manager Kelly Cook reviewed the recorded conversations, agreed that they made a mistake on their side, but decided not to sell me the car at the price I was told. Earning my business and the small amount of money that made up the difference was not worth it to him or the dealership. The business they are running is not fair and is shady. Do not waste your time with these crooks and don't believe anything they tell you. Horrible customer service.

So I go in there and trade in my old truck for a newer truck. We give them all the information for financing and then I find out that if it is not up to par we have to turn around and take the preowned truck back, and we have already signed over the title from my other truck, so technically they don't have to give us the old truck back. That is crap. We signed a contract and everything and one little hiccup can change everything. Garbage. Any other dealership we go to if you sign a contract the vehicle is yours to start making payments on. No here. This place is bad.

I had to go in multiple times for the same thing. It was under warranty but still had to be fixed over and over. 10 months later and the same thing. They didn't want to fool with it anymore and I had to go to a different dealership. They have no loyalty and couldn't care less if they make their mistakes right! You're just a number being pushed through. Take my advice and find a small town dealership that cares about a happy customer. I recommend Bruner in Stephenville TX. I'll never darken Vandergriff's doorstep again!

This dealer had great listed prices and I was upside down on my trade which I explained to them over the phone. They blind bid my trade at a reasonable price and convinced me to come down to meet them. So they get my trade and then proceed to tell me that's it's $5,500 less than the blind bid they quoted. Not only was that way off the mark but they said my credit score was 45 points lower then the myfico score I pulled that morning and tried to tell me they could get me into the vehicle I was looking at if I was willing to put down an additional 7k and take a payment $400 over the amount initially discussed on the phone at an interest rate over 15%. Buyer beware and look at other chevy dealers in dfw before resorting to this dealer.

I just knew that since I have purchase before at vandergriff and referred people to come to buy from this location that in no way would I get treated the way that I did. I was looking for a 2014 Impala, I come and I am greeted by a gentleman and of course we go thru the normal steps of finding a car. I wanted to take advantage of all incentives that were available as well as my gm discount. Now there were some features that I wanted on the impala that I was not willing to give up. I remember when I purchased my last car the sales side went above and beyond to gain my business. This time i can't say the same. Rod the director who just sits at the desk and swears he has met me, wrong is tight on prices, how can you have 2 cars with high mileage and think someone is going to pay 40k for them. When I caught onto there game I was being questioned how I figured out what the supposed discount that they were calling it. If the rebates is 3500 on one paper and you bring me another paper with the discount showing me the new savings of 4500 that goes to show me that you were only taking 1k off of a car with 8000 miles on it that had not been titled to a customer and it needed a oil change, but then a car that had 2300miles you wanted to take 1500dollars off. just didn't make any since at all. I was the customer who praised the sales side and was disappointed in service now both sides are the same. I always wondered why every time I came in there were new faces. The Sales Managers are horrible and customer friendly at all. Now don't get me wrong there are some of the sales guys who will go above and beyond for you. IF you ask for information to be emailed to you I think they should be able to do that no make you come in just for general purpose to keep you there for hours. Other dealers have the ability to communicate via email regardless of the price of a car or just general conversation. Whoever the other guy is that sits in the office that doesn't speaks and just looks at you even when you speak I find that being rude. At some point the Gm, needs to get a hold of the staff and find out how can they change the structure like it was to ensure that customers are happy. I should not be told pay your car down and then come back, not when Im about to make a purchase within the next week or so. Plus more people around me need cars, and of course they are going to ask where did I go. I would NOT say go to Vandergriff Chevy, you would receive horrible service and they will have you there for hours.

I came to test drive a new Silverado to see what had changed since my last one, a 2006 model. I was in a 2012 Ford F-250 and, frankly, I missed my old Chevrolet. But I could walk away and still have a vehicle that suited me.We talked price, briefly. We made a deal on a new 2500 HD very quickly, and it involved a lot less of my money than I thought it would. Still, I had the sense it was more about me being satisfied with what I was buying than about them selling a truck. The salesman, Brandon, the sales manager, Scott, the accessories man, Ken, and the finance people were top-notch and a pleasure to deal with.

I was never given an estimated time of completion, or updated along the way, I had to call to get updates. I had to beg for a rental, somehow, one was not available for four days. I received my car back dirtier than when I dropped it off. When I scheduled the appointment I was told I'd get State Fair tickets when the service was completed. Funny thing, the Fair had ended by the time the service was completed.

Our last two vehicles have been bought at Vandergriff Toyota so my wife and I went to Vandergriff Chevrolet to look at the Tahoes. When we got there we were approached by a salesman Justin Pack and just knew we were going to be pressured. not this time, as we told him we were just looking. He said help yourself and if you have questions don't hesitate to ask. He then stood and watched as we looked at the vehicles. We decided to buy a new Tahoe with a trade in, however, the dealership did not have a Tahoe with the color and features we wanted on the lot. Justin and some of the staff worked tirelessly to find us what we wanted and finally came through with flying colors. From that moment on until we signed the papers the staff bent over backwards for us and we couldn't be happier.

From the time my wife and I drove onto the dealership lot we were NOT pressured during our search for a pre-owned vehicle. We were promptly greeted by a sales manager who provided us with a very competent, polite sales person who was willing to provide us with information on the vehicles we were there to review. Justin Pack made our visit stress free and on point during the business portion of this trip. I purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Traverse with low mileage at a very good price. I sound partial to this dealership because I have purchased 4 vehicles from them in the past (2 within a one week period) one of which I traded for my current purchase. I drove approximately 25 miles to trade with this dealership because I did not see any comparable deals during my search on the internet. The process of paperwork was streamline and very quick. We bought a "certified" pre-owned car in Feb 2014. Which we couldn't test drive until our credit was checked. Had a few problems with it (missing floor mat, bad wipers, deep scratches on hood). Since we didn't notice these these things until after the sale was made, it was a hassle getting them to fix it. They simply "buffed" out the scrathces as best they could, got another matching floor mat from another vehicle and did NOT replace the wiper blades.A few months later the battery went out so we took it in to get checked. Turns out it is not covered under the extra warranty that we purchased or warranty that comes with the certified vehicle and to top it off we just missed the factory warranty expiration. After given a quote over the phone of $229, we were told $279 was due after everything was said and done (includes battery, test fee, install fee, battery pack fee (whatever that is). After complaining about it, they took off some small fees and 10% off, so we ended up paying a little over $230. They provide nothing but terrible service, rude service personnel (named Cody) and Service Director that does not know what quality customer service means.I would NOT recommend this place for anyone to buy a vehicle or service their vehicle here. Other companies such as Honda, Ford would have tested the battery, replaced it for FREE!

Had a brake problem with my 2006 Cobalt. It is a car from Michigan so brakes had rust - obviously! Brake job was $2400. Quite high in my opinion. i think they replaced everything that had any bit of rust on it, even though I told them not to. Price of parts purchased on outside (OEM ones) would have been in the neighborhood of $500 or so. I've always had good experience with my dealer in Michigan so I took my car to a dealer here in Arlington. I will never go back. I feel I got ripped off.

Tiffany was my salesperson and she did a great job. I do wish that I had been able to get my first choice of cars, but they couldn't get my payments low enough for me. I ended up with a Kia Sedona and I am happy with that. My one critique was that I had an appointment to pick up my car at 11:30 and had to wait over an hour for it because the guys were not done detailing it yet. Overall, though, buying from this dealership was a good experience and I would go there again.

Tried purchasing an Equinox at this Vandergriff location. I had done my research and I liked the vehicle that they had so I set up my appointment. Everything was fine until they cam back with my loan info. I tried to tell them that I believed that they could get me a better APR because of my credit score and history, but the salesman basically told me that 8.79 was the "LOWEST" they could get me. I tried telling them that I didn't think so, and that I believed that I could get a lower APR if they tried with my bank (Chase). The salesman basically brushed me off by saying that he has been in the car selling business for 15 years and from what he has "seen" and according to the "market" he didn't think that I could get a better offer. The next day he called me and said Chase came up with 12%. In short, went to Chase, put in an application and got a 5.5APR the day after he called me. Never went back and purchased at another dealership. No wonder they have a 3.8 star average. Went with a dealership that has a 4.9 average - WAY BETTER EXPERIENCE.

As I said they were great in person and over the phone before we came to see them. We live pretty far away and were looking at a used truck through them. The price was good, it was in good shape and the test drive (around the block) went fine. They were all smiles and handshakes. I'm not a mechanic but when I looked at the engine it looked fine. The belt on top had been replaced and it sounded fine. Then ON THE WAY HOME from buying the truck the engine started making a whining/chirping noise. I figured it was the new belt so I took it to my mechanic. Before all was said and done I had spent 600 dollars out of pocket two days after getting the truck home. According to my mechanic the belt tensioners had to be replaced along with the alternator and the air conditioning belt which they had used armor all on to make it look new. The top belt was new but according to the mechanic the belt they replaced was so far gone that they had obviously replaced the top belt to make it seem like they wouldn't be a concern to someone like me who knew a little but about engines but not enough to really make a good judgement. Furthermore, he said that part of the reason the alternator went bad was because they had sprayed so much armor all on the engine to make it look new and shiny that it had seeped inside it and ruined it. I contacted them even though I had an As-Is agreement I had signed hoping that because it messed up ON THE WAY HOME and it was their fault that maybe they would make it right but the sales manager told me that I was out of luck. He said the reason that I signed that agreement was for this very situation, of course he didn't take my calls himself, he relayed this through his sales team who actually tried to get him to help me out. I've had the truck a month now with no other issues but the lackluster way this situation was handled has left a bad taste in my mouth and I won't be purchasing from any dealerships associated with this one or it's owners again. I drove 200 miles round trip to get this truck. I understand that yes, they technically weren't liable because I signed an agreement but when a mechanic says that it's their fault it broke then a good salesman that cared about his customers and reputation would fix the issue in some way or another. It is what it is I suppose but I figured people should know what kind of people are really in charge over there. At this point it's too late for them to do anything to remedy the situation and I'm done trying to get anything done about it.

I was looking to buy a used vehicle. I went in there knowing what I was looking to buy, my sales person was Kelley Graham. I was pleased with him assisting me until he decided to leave while I was in the financial department. Another salesmen had to approach me and let me know he had left. Very disrespectful. I was told my car would be done the next day (Wednesday); I received a call from my original sales person stating the car would not be ready and he was not certain when it would be ready. He told me to come in on wednesday before they close but was not sure if the car would be ready. Since I had a couple of days to think about the car, i decided I did not want to go through the deal and just get a refund on my down payment. I spoke with Arthur Kirby on Thursday, since he was the one having to deliver me the car, ( keep in mind, it took 2 days to fully have my car ready ). I stated that I just wanted to get a refund, Arthur got upset and went to the finance department so they could give me a check. Thirty minutes later, he comes back with only 3/4 of my down payment and told me that since I paid the other half with debt card, they would reswipe my card to put it back in my account, which did not work. He then told me, to come back the next day (Friday) to come back and get the remaining $500 in a check, which I never understood why they could not just write a check in full. When handing me the check, he advised me to wait at least an hour and a half before cashing due to their funds, did not understand that either. I come in the next day, to pick up my check, in which I called in advanced so I would not have to wait another 30 mintues. When I arrived, the check was not ready which is not surprising, then Arthur Kirby states, that the financial department never received the $500 from my bank. I told him, that it was deducted from my account and he stated I needed to show him proof, I do not understand why I was given a hard time to get my refund. They ask for the down payment upfront but when I asked for my refund, I was given the run around. So from purchasing a vehicle on Tuesday to finally getting all my refund of my down payment on Friday, I would not and I mean I would not recommend this dealership to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. I had a terrible experience and especially, I am a first time buyer. This was not a good experience nor a place I would say assisted me in purchasing a vehicle. I walked in without a vehicle and even with purchasing a vehicle, I still walked out in the same position as before, car-less.

Went in to my have my 2008 Colorado fitted for a trailer plug so I could run lights and brakes on my trailer. Typically trailers use a 4 plug when not running brakes and a 7 flat when running brakes. I would say about 95% of trailers use a 7 flat. To my surprise they installed a combo 4 plug and 6 round.Why in the world they installed a 6 round is beyond me... totally useless and I never see any trailers running this kind of plug. I should of made them re-do the work or uninstall and get a refund. Maybe they just had this laying around and figured they would just throw it on my truck.

Had emergency brake adusted on my 2002 Z06 Corvette. Tech left one bolt complete out and the other only half way treaded in. If the other bolt had come out it would have cause the brake calpier assy to come loose and jam between the lower control arm and the rim, locking up the LH rear wheel on my Corvette. Totaling the car and I would have made it so I could say what happen. This kind of work habit on high performance auto's is bull.

The proverbial ball was dropped by a number of people associated with the service dept. I was told to bring my car in first thing this morning 6.12.12(I was there at 730'ish am). Finally grabbed a shuttle home around 1130'ish. I was told the shuttle would come back to get me when my car was ready.....which it was around 4-430. However, the shuttle drivers go home at 530pm and I'm stuck at home without any wheels a VERY dissatisfied customer. I will not be referring people I know to use this service dept. Bush League at best.

While waiting for the paperwork I got introduced to an independant insurance agent and change my auto and renters insurance. Joe was very understanding when I brought my new 2011 HHR in because it has been damaged in an accident. He made sure that the vehicle was restored to new condition, even replacing the labels under the hood. Ignorant me didn't even know there were any labels under the hood!

I wanted to let you know what wonderful service I receive at Vandergriff Chevy. Steve is an excellent Service Rep. He cares about the customer and it shows. My husband and I have had several cars from there and we have never had a problem with service. Steve is the reason that I purchased my car from Vandergriff. You can get a great price, but if there is poor service afterward, you will truly regret the purchase. We have always been satisfied with any of the Reps that have helped us with service. We had a great experience with Marcus and the dealership. We found the car online, agreed on a great price over the phone, travelled from out of state to see the car which was as described. This is my second purchase from this dealership - I helped my daughter buy a Cobalt last year. Everyone I worked with both times were friendly, happy to have me choose their dealership, and willing to work with me on price and financing. For this purchase of the Traverse I knew what I wanted, they did not have the specific color with seating configuration I wanted on the lot and were prompt in getting the car I wanted. They are definitely customer-oriented. My daughter is already talking about trying to upgrade soon from her Cobalt to a Traverse!!

Great sales staff. I enjoyed my transaction. Good inventory, they had the best internet price on the new Camaro Convertibles, other dealers are not coming off of the MSRP on the cars. Got even better saving, and fair value on my trade in. If you want a new Camaro convertible, that have as many, or more than any other dealer in the area.

Rod Tiller was my salesman. He was courteous and very professional. He made sure that I was satisfied with my decision on the vehicle that I choose. He ask all questions that was ask. He knew the vehicle very well. He went over all the vehicle and always made sure that I understood was he said. He never rush me; he took his time. Even though I was there way past his time to get off, he never once rush me to make a decision. "IT WAS ALL ABOUT ME". I like that, because I felt important to him.Reginal Carter did an excellent job on the paperwork and explained to me the benefits and went over all details. Even though this was business we have a great conversations and laugh. I felt very comfortable.Overral - both guys were excellent and I would highly recommend Vandergriff to my friends and Rod Tiller.

There is a saying that you can sheer a sheep forever, but can only gut him once. My opinion is that Vandergriff does not expect return customers because you leave there having been gutted on the price and add-ons. In hindsight I should have walked out before signing for the vehicle. They will NOT get any more of my money. Being new to the DFW Metroplex and desperate for a vehicle, I was taken by the Vandergriff sales & finance staff.
