I just love Van Chevrolet. They have always been so helpful. Always giving me the best advice on how to take care of my car. Aaron and Jeff have been helpful! After getting my 3rd car here Scott Sadden was the one that helped me. I had recently had a bad experience but Scott made me feel so much better. He provided lots of advice and answered all mine and my husbands questions. I feel comfortable again with van Chevrolet and will continue to recommend more people to Come here.

The initial customer service we had was great. We were speaking with our salesman and everything was going fine. We asked about various trucks and they indicated there was a couple of trucks to look at. We kept indicating to our sales person that we did not want to make a decision tonight. We looked at two trucks and really liked one of the trucks. We wanted to run the numbers to see what it would look like in our budget. As soon as we saw the numbers we said okay we would like to discuss it. Then he said that was fine was going to get his manager to close us out. We said that was fine. The manager comes in and is aggressive stating that he needs to sell three more cars tonight. He asked us what he could do in order for us to buy the car tonight. We told him nothing we wanted to think about it. That was not what he was wanting to hear as he got more aggressive, asking us why? Is it because we don’t have the money? Is it we didn’t like the truck? He said there had to be a reason, he was incredibly rude to my wife and very aggressive in his approach. He didn’t like the fact that we wanted to think about it. (We don’t make big decisions on a whim). We ended up just talking in circles and at this point it was frustrating. We understand he wanted to try pressure us into a sale but we weren’t having it and the manager stormed out with the paperwork. We have bought plenty of cars in our lives and this was by far the WORST experience. If your going to blatantly disrespect us like that there is no way we will be giving us our business. If you can buy a Chevy somewhere else, I would definitely do so.

I have been purchasing vehicles from Van for nearly 20 years and have always been met with courtesy and respect. From their sales associates to their service department, this group of professionals is simply the best I have ever encountered. Ben Hyde in the service department is simply outstanding. His knowledge of my vehicle and assessment of time to complete the service and cost is always spot on. He is friendly, thorough and always returns my calls in a timely manner. This dealership is everything a consumer could ask for when looking to purchase a new vehicle. I highly recommend them and will continue to do business with Van in the future.

Great service! I originally was getting a oil change and I ended up walking out with brand new truck from Van's Chevy. The customer service is so helpful and over all helpful. Juan helped me through the process and it was refreshing how attentive he was to find the right vehicle and deals for me. If I could give more stars I definitely would. Keep up the good work and service

I have purchased at least 3 vehicles from Van in the past. My last vehicle was a new Corvette z06. Today, I walked into the dealership asking about ordering the new Corvette z06 (the release is this week). Now, I know today is a different market as the semi conductor chip situation has created shortages, and, this is a new Corvette release. A sales person who handles those cars advised me that they were pricing those cars $100,000.00 "OVER" sticker price. I quickly advised that I was not interested. What surprised me is that this guy quickly followed up with a question of how much over sticker would I pay? These are sales people and I get their willingness to test customers. However, Van should consider the long term impact of their willingness to "price gouge". Make no doubt about it, that is what this is. This stunt lost me (a loyal customer) as a repeat customer.... forever.

Bought my truck there a year and a half ago and have had nothing but great experiences. The service department has always been quick, polite and gets the job done. Buying was also a pleasant experience as they put me in just the truck that I was looking for. Looked at Ford F150's briefly but salesperson there was poor.

Although the service was excellent as it has always been, there was a problem. My truck is not being used under severe conditions. It was recommended I replace the transmission and rear end fluids, as well as the coolants and brake fluid. Per the manual the coolant and brake fluid are not to be replaced, even under severe conditions, untilover 100000 miles. This is not a customer friendly action and has made me rethink my association with Vans.My truck has less than 45000 miles.

I went to the dealership hoping they can help me with getting a new or even a used car. They went over my options and found what was best for me. Did not take long to verify my information and before I knew I was driving away with a new car. With no problems. My salesman was very informative and helpful. He got me the best deal. I am very happy with how this dealership helped me and have no complaints.

Tim Hodder, Service Consultant is a very reasonable person who cares about the customer and believes the customer is always right. He is very thoughtful and knowledgeable about cars and trucks and associated issues. He sets the bar that other service advisers need to reach. Service staff attended to me the second I pulled in and Tim was there in a matter of minutes. He advised what service should be done, told me how long it would be and offered the shuttle service. I waited for my vehicle which was ready in the time estimated and advised me of what was done in detail. Afterwards I had a question about a situation, he looked into the matter and resolved it. Tim gives you a five star experience.

Van offers exceptional service, it's convenient and they're speedy. I keep returning to van for service. I have had the worst experience with sales people though. Will never go to van to purchase again. 3 very bad experiences and walked out each time. Salesmen were pushy, lying, aggressive and offered the worst deal ever.

My service rep was knowledgeable and friendly. I was told that there would be a short wait to have my vehicle serviced that morning and he showed me to the waiting area and brought me water. I have no complaints about the service to my vehicle. My only complaint is that during the initial purchase of the car and buying an extended warranty I was told that oil changes would be free. However that is not so.

Van Chevrolet made our first service on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado a very pleasant experience. They supplied us with a vehicle to use for shopping while they serviced our truck. They went the extra mile to fix a rattle we were hearing when it turned out to be our side step by tightening a bolt. My husband is a disabled Vet so this was great.

After test driving the 2016 Honda Civics for a week, we decided to pursue exploring a 2016 Chevy Cruze with low miles and good technology. We found a prospect in the internet but when we got there the first time, we couldn't find it. We returned early next morning and to my disappointment I learned that the car was sold, so my only choice was to pursue other cars in the lot but couldn't find a used Chevy Cruze that met my requirements. Then we talk to Scott Daily who delegated Ron to help finding a car. We couldn't find any used cars with low miles, colors and appealing technology. Ron was very helpful in presenting to us all the options on used cars but none of them were attractive, and fit my criteria. Then, Ron suggested to look at the 2017 Chevy Cruze in the showroom and started to talk about the latest technology updates, the hatchback body, the new turbo engine with 38 miles on the highway, upgraded touch technology and all the free GM services such as On-star and XM radio for 24-months. This Chevy Cruze met my likes close to perfectly, except the price was a bit high. Ron provided us the options to buy, or Lease in detail, and gave us a preliminary quote on the cost for both options. We decided to test drive this car, enjoyed the ride and all the technology packed into the Chevy Cruze. I decided to drive home this car on a 39-months LEASE, and the rest is history. After one week of driving, I continue to discover more technology features such as the Apple play that makes the touch less phone and texting possible, and the GPS assisted driving are features that really enjoy on my 2017 Chevy Cruze. Thanks to Ron, Scott and their staff for the great assistance with the entire Lease process from negotiating a deal to finance closing. I'm very happy with my Chevy Cruze, and feel it was worthwhile to discuss the purchase/lease options available at VAN Chevrolet. We will definitely recommend this dealer to friend and relatives.

This is my third Chevy Silverado in 4 years that have purchased from Van's Chevy. My experience has been swift, effortless and best of all served all of my growing needs. As my company has grown my main vehicle has needed to grow nearly each year larger in capacity due to towing. Van's has made it possible to bring my vehicle back each time and trade for a new vehicle without feeling like I have lost everything I have worked so hard for the year before. I would highly recommend Van's for any of your Chevy truck needs, and I would highly recommend Jacob my sales person , or Brett his sales manager and of course there back office for all the support along the way! Great job, see you again as my business grows and my needs expand. Jamie Wilke

My car needed a new battery, new windshield wipers, and an oil change. I had to have it jump started, and I took it to Van Chevrolet. I was attended to right away, and upon examination, it was discovered I had a fixable leak in a tire, and that it would be a good idea to have them rotated. Well, as long as we are here . . . Seriously, though, Adam the service advisor took very good care of me, explained everything, and delivered the car back in the time and for the price promised. I am very pleased with the service I received.

To make a long story short...I have 2 kids under 2.5 years. I had to get them and their seats out of the car and take w me to service waiting area. I got NO HELP whatsoever! My service consultant took the notes down and told me to meet him in the waiting area....then left. My kids had to stand next to my car in the service lanes while I took out their seats then I had to carry the seats across the traffic w them walking behind me. I couldn't hold their hands in traffic. And no one opened a door for me either as I got 2 kids and 2 large car seats in the door. No one directed me where to go as I stood there looking around. There were at least 10 employees outside that witness me walking and 15 in my direct view sitting at their desks when coming in the door. Then another waiting client had a dog in the waiting area. It bit my 1.5 year old, broke the skin and left a big bite mark on his stomach. Why are dogs allowed in the waiting area? It was not a service dog! Asked for a first aid kit, got a heavier blue cloth soaked w water to wipe my sons belly. Thankfully he seems to be ok and the situation wasn't worse. Sheila in HR was very nice and had me fill out an incident report for the dog bite. She offered us water and tried to keep my babies busy and happy while I filled out paperwork. She also walked us to our "loaner" and made sure we were good to go. I give her an A! The customer service was not what I would expect being in North Scottsdale. You would think they'd be overly pleasant! Their ability to handle an "accident" was awful. I am definitely not a happy with this dealership experience.

When I walked into Van Chevrolet, I basically knew what I wanted: a Chevy Volt. However, my family members were pushing for a Prius. Jose Albanil greeted me as I walked by, and I told him my predicament. He responded by researching and comparing both cars for me after we spoke and e-mailing me information; in person, when I took two test drives, he was very communicative, professional and polite. Needless to say, I bought the Volt. He walked me through the sale process and he has stayed in touch afterwards with a call to make sure all is well. I would recommend Jose to anyone interested in a Chevrolet.

Called Van Chevrolet in responding to my request to purchase a new vehicle. Spoke to the salesman who sent me the email after receiving my request from Chevrolet.com. I informed the salesman of what I was look for and the pricing that was quoted to me by other Chevrolet Dealers. His response was that he could meet or beat the prices that I gave to him. When I got there, it was a whole different story. First of all, when I asked about the options that were on the vehicle, his answer was "yes" to all my questions. When we looked at the vehicle and saw that it did not have those options, his reply was, "oh, I guess it doesn't have that option. As far as the price, it was now thousands of dollars higher than told to me on the telephone. The sales manager accused me of lying and said" there is no way they could sell you the vehicle for that price, but you can buy it from me or this price."Oh, if I had a dollar everything a dealer told me his price was the best. Anyway, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP IF YOU WANT A GREAT PRICE. IF YOU DON'T CARE AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR, THAN THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

We bought a 2015 Tahoe LTZ in May of 2015. A year later, we are still waiting for them to fix blemishes that existed at the time of purchase. We have brought it in for oil changes and routine maintenance three times. The first two, we were left with a promise of a call when the parts were in- no call was ever received. The third time, on 5/2/16, we dropped it off and asked for a loaner until it was all taken care of. It is now 5/13/16 (almost two weeks later) and we're still stuffing our three kids into a tiny Chevy Cruz. They're now saying it'll be 4-5 more days, but with their track record I highly doubt it will be that soon. We feel lied to and cheated. Absolutely the worst experience ever!!

OK, I hate car shopping, I do everything online as much as possible, but I was dreading having to go into a dealership a test drive and fork some numbers. The car buying experience at Van Chevrolet, however, was completely different than what I expected. The staff was pleasant and helpful, wasn't any pressure, they left me alone to take a couple meetings, and were all very friendly. Jose Albanil is the sales guy I worked with and he was outstanding, going above and beyond to make sure the experience was positive and stress-free....even going back through my trade in to make sure I didn't leave anything (which of course I did) and called me to try and mail my items to me. Just a truly great customer service experience.

I found a screw in my tire resulting in low psi. When i took it in for repair John Hale told me my tire warranty was still being processed and I could either pay out of pocket or wait a few more days until it prcessed. Without even asking John immediately went to talk to his Director about options. They pulled up my sales record to confirm I did have the tire warranty and they took care of me without having to pay OOP or risk driving around with the screw in my tire. I am so thankful John took great care of me and got my new tire without me even asking for him to go above and beyond.

John in Service was really great and understood my time pressure. He was the first supportive and authentically helpful person I have experienced at Van. I scheduled an appointment because of a noise I was hearing in the right rear tire area. While I was there, I thought I would get an oil change also. Van Chevrolet tried to sell me all fluid changes except transmission. When they were finished, they told me everything was OK with the bearings in the right rear wheel and the bill was more than they quoted. Today I took my car to Freeway Chevrolet. They took the car for a road test and heard the same noise as I did. The problem was bearings. Both rear wheels needed new bearings. Freeway Chevrolet did not try to sell me a lot of other services. They addressed my complaint and fixed the car. I would definitely recommend Freeway Chevrolet over Van Chevrolet.

The last 2 times I have had my in for service you have a list of things you check but checking the tire pressure doesn't seem to be one of them. I took it to Big O Tires after both times and my left rear tire needed air both times. It would seem a simple thing to check while you are doing the other.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.....predatory loan issued to an 85 year old womanThey sold my grandmother a brand new car. Sounds ok, right? Well she's 85, has just about the worst credit score one can get, lives on minimal social security, still pays rent for her own apartment, and has about $0 to her name at any given time. They let her walk out of there with a brand new Chevy Cruze for about $4000 ABOVE MSRP, 20% APR, which equated to about a $500/mo payment. Slap on $200 for an 85 year old's auto insurance and she's looking at about $700/mo for a vehicle she drives about once per week. Great. This leaves her with about negative $100 per month for groceries, medications, etc. I know what you're thinking. Who let her go in the first place? She went on her own without telling anyone. Did she make poor choices? Of course. But I still cannot understand how one of their sales people let her walk away with that "deal".....We spoke with Mike Wolfe (sales manager) and he seemed very sympathetic on the phone. He said he would make it right. The plan was to trade it in for a cheaper car that she can actually afford. When we arrived we dealt with a rude salesman (not the same one who sold her the car), Mike Luck, who treated us with about 0 respect. Likely because he knew he wasn't going to be selling anything to us. When we communicated our frustrations, he said "I don't know what happened but we're here to do everything in our power to sell cars." Thanks Mike Luck, you're the reason we're here again and you're the reason the auto sales business has close to zero integrity. Next we spoke to Mike Wolfe. Our savior on the phone right? Nope. He threw his hands in the air and relieved himself of any and all responsibility because "he was there that day and didn't oversee the sale." The only way they could make a deal is if my grandmother forked over $3000 as a down payment for a downgraded vehicle. They don't make money from making things like this right. So now my grandma will have to voluntarily surrender the car to the bank, which means no vehicle and possibly payments on the amount owed after auction. Thanks Van Chevrolet. My grandma thanks you too. Zero integrity in an otherwise low integrity line of work. Go somewhere else to purchase a vehicle.

Keith Maldonado at Van Chevrolet was interested in looking for my needs in a vehicle instead of pushing something I did not want at me. He took the time to help not making me choose what he wanted me to buy as other dealership sales parties have done in the past. This experience became an enjoyable remembrance instead of a regret after the sale was finalized. I would recommend Keith as the person to see IF you really want to choose, not end up with a vehicle.

Great deal on GMC Terrain I had bought. The advisor Zach was above and beyond the call of duty.. Meaning he would come in on his days off to help me.. Never seen that before and was motivated to help me throughout the car buying process. The reason I gave a 4 star is not because of my service, but waiting in a office I overheard two employees talking about a customer who wanted to come in for other business and they were talking about how they were going to push a car on him when he came in and how they did not care that he directly advised them on the phone about not wanting to buy a car. Thats goes against everything there opening statement says about friendly and non pressure environment.

By far the WORSE service I have ever had car shopping! If you are looking for a new or used car/truck, do not go to Van Gmc scottsdale. The car staff is extremely unprofessional and extremely rude. Tried to pressure us into buying a car we didn't even want. Telling us they would have to order the one we were interested in and kept lying to us about the price of the vehicle. Wouldn't even negotiate on the price. Do NOT go to Van GMC scottsdale!!

We never expected to have such a great experience going to a dealership to purchase a car. Mike Nations was more than helpful and since this was my daughters first time purchasing a car, he made sure she was well educated on the entire process. He even followed up later and made sure all was going well. When we went back for our maintenance appointment, everyone in the service department was more than friendly and helpful - We couldn't have asked for a better, more comfortable experience from the purchase all the way to the service department. Thank you!

I had a problem with accessing my car after hours on the weekend because I got there an hour after the service department had closed. All service staff had left for the day but the manager at new car sales for Van's (Dan) bent over backwards to help me access my car. I was so appreciative because I needed it for work. Dan even told me they would give me a loaner car if he could not get my car out of service. We have bought our last two vehicles from Van's and referred two additional customers who bought vehicles and we will continue to do so because they are so easy to work with and provide excellent service!

We own a 2007 Yukon class. in May 2014 the car had a small oil leak. We were going to send our son off to college with this car. Therefore we took it in to Van Chevrolet. They fixed the leak for around $2500 however it continued to leak. At this point we questioned them about whether they could really fix it and if we should trade the car. We had great concerns sending our son 2000 miles away and possibly having a problem. They assured us that they could get it right i and charged us another thousand dollars. The end result is that they didn't fix it and the car leaked all of its oil out. Very disappointing. I would have a hard time trusting their work and opinion.

To make a long story short I got a vehicle from Van Chevrolet but after three weeks of having the car they said I needed a consigner or I needed to bring the car back. I decided to bring the car back. Then they said they will make the deal go through without a consigner which sounded shady, so I declined. I asked for my trade in back and that's when they told me they already took it to the auction. I couldn't believe they took it to the auction before the deal was finalized and before they even payed off the trade in. But they said they would get it back and have it towed to me since it wasn't in a condition to be driven. After a week of getting ignored they finally got my car back but they wouldn't tow it to me. After a couple more days of getting ignored I decided to have my car towed myself. I would never advise anyone to do business with them.

Purchased a 2014 Chevrolet half ton over labor day. It took two long afternoons working primarily with Brian Wimsatt and Jeremiah Duncan to finally find the appropriate vehicle for our needs. We then worked with their finance staff to finalize the purchase. After purchase, returned to a few days later for some additional custom accessories. There were no glitches or unwelcome surprises during the course of the transactions. My wife and I were both pleasantly surprised by experience. We feel good about Van Chevrolet. All of the personnel we dealt with were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. We are very satisfied with our final selection. We think the truck is great. Could not have asked for better service.Would heartily recommend this dealership.

I brought our 2012 Yukon Denali in for service on one of the captain's chair's mechanisms and to troubleshoot the DVD player. The car was dropped off Wednesday, August 20 in the afternoon. I was lead to believe that the car would be ready the next day. Two days went by and no one called. I had to call in myself Friday afternoon to get a status update. It was only then that I was told that the vehicle has just arrived at a bay to begin service. The fact that two full days went by without the vehicle being looked at was ridiculous. It was only after I reached out to a service manager that progress was eventually made. After which time, the car was ready within 2 hours. So my question is: Why did it take over 48 hours and a couple of phones calls on my end to have an hour or two worth of time spent on my car to complete the service request? On top of this, I had an oil change done and specifically asked if the car would be vacuumed. I was told that it would be and when it wasn't done upon arrival I was told that they wouldn't do it without charging extra for labor. Customer service is key in any business and you guys failed in every aspect.

Van Chevrolet is in a class all of their own because of one reason; Abdul Elturk! He was simply amazing! From the moment I got there I knew I was in great hands. He's honest, courteous, trustworthy and made my car buying experience a real pleasure, which I never thought possible. He sat with me and explained all my options and did all he could to get me financed and save me as much money as possible. I was so impressed with Mr. Abdul that I went and got a second vehicle from him. I trust him THAT much. Now I'm driving a GMC Acadia and I know that the next vehicle I get will also be from Mr. Abdul and the Van Chevrolet team. I'm referring my family and friends to him because I know he'll treat them all with the same honesty, dedication and true commitment. I'll never buy from anyone else because Abdul Elturk is clearly the best!

After a very rocky start with 2 other managing sales people in the used car section at Vans Chevrolet, a very energetic and customer service oriented young man named Abdul Elturk stepped up, saved and made a sale. If it hadn't been for him putting the customer first, we would not have been back, ever. Many could take a lesson on how to treat people and to represent a company they work for. To the General Manager of this company, please take note that you should reward Abdul for his efforts and being so attentive to the customers that enter your building and make you money. We would highly recommend Abdul to others and would seek him for future purchases. The excellent rating I am giving the dealership is only due to Abdul. Sincerely, Joe and Doreen DeLucia

I bought a used 2011 Lincoln on 4/28/14. That was my first mistake. I was told since it was a used vehicle that all the paint issues, interior leather issues, etc. would all get resolved during the pre-delivery inspection, and in the words of my saleswoman, "up to par". I receive the car the next day with a dead battery, missing paint on every door and bumper, two malfunctioning taillights that I was told were being replaced, hard faults in the steering gear, and a constant undiagnosed chiming noise. I bring the car in a few days later to discuss how the vehicle in such shape was not ready for any sale. First, my saleswoman was upset with me that I brought the car back in for a new battery, because having had to jump my car a total of 40 times over the past two days wasn't reason enough. They scheduled an appointment to look at the other stuff just to later call me and tell me Vince Maldonado of used sales refuses to go forward with any of the fixes due to my saleswoman not communicating with him. As if that was my fault. Other than that, literally every department from service to finance has been xxxx, and many of the managers are quite set in their ways. If you're not going down there to buy a new corvette, prepare to get stepped on. I'm still driving around a car I don't feel safe in because these folks can't stand behind what they do. If I could give them zero stars across the board, I would. BEWARE.

We have bought 4 to 5 vehicles at Vans Chevrolet. All of our experiences have been great. We just recently purchased a 2014 Corvette from them. It is on order and Michael Gacindo has been great about keeping us informed about the progress of the car. He was very informative about the car before we purchased it. All the people have been very friendly and not pushy. They answer all the questions we had. We will continue to buy cars from them. Thanks again Michael for all your help and keeping us informed. We are looking forward to seeing you when our Corvette comes in. Sincerely,Jan Fink

Took my brand spanking new Buick in for it's first oil change, When my car was finished I got in noticing someone had ruffled through my console, and glove box. I immediately contacted the service drive manager (Chris Davis) and informed him a very expensive item was missing from the glove compartment. His reply was "I was stupid for leaving it in there and they are not responsible".. I asked to speak with the service manager (Shawn Mack) who was also unsympathetic, saying if they acted upon all the theft complaints from the service dept they would have no employees, and once again said " I should not have left the item in my glove compartment". Well stupid me I guess.. One would think when they purchase a brand new vehicle and return to that dealership for the first time you would feel comfortable that the vehicle and it's contents are safe. So be warned, there ARE thief's working at Van Buick in the service department, and they have free access to all your valuables with no recourse from their employer.

I purchased my 2014 chevy malibu ls from the tent sale but my sales people are Van Chevy. They made it seem like i was getting a great deal. $2750 in rebates ect...When i looked at the contract and i also took it to a Finance manager in another chevy dealership they said they had given me the price of an LT model (which is a big difference) and i walked away with an LS. I was also unaware of the new eco system, where the car turns off at stop lights and thats annoying they never told me anything about the car doing that, i thought my car was already malfuntioning. TOO TOP IT OFF, my rebate wasnt even put towards my car! it was put back into there pocket. BEWARE!

I brought my truck in for again for the same problem that was "repaired" the year before. This vehicle had been in multiple times for the same problem, and only once was their repair covered. When I brought it in again I had to fork out more money for the exact same repair that I had recently. I asked the writer to discuss this with the service manager. He said the part would not be covered, even when it had been replaced not to long ago. Well that just tells you. You can't trust a service person to do the job right the first time.

Scott, Zach and Smiley did go above and beyond anything I would expect to get me the perfect car. They did not have the car, found it, brought it in, certified it and delivered exactly the car I wanted, perfect. Not forgetting to mention they had by far the best offer for my trade.Note: I did visit all but 2 dealers in the valley and, again, the guys at Van Chevrolet made it happen. I truly felt they did work with me rather than tried to make a sale.I will definitely go back there again and again for future car purchases for sure! And so should you (if you like great deals, that is)

I have had a horrific experience with them. I was recently in an accident and purchased a replacement used vehicle from Adrian Wilson at Van Chevrolet. I'll paperwork was signed, down payment was paid and they cashed the check. They informed me that the vehicle still had to get inspected prior to giving it to me and would be ready within two days. I patiently waited at my own expense with a rental vehicle. They first informed me that it was going to take longer than expected and requested that I wait, which I did patiently. Then two weeks later I get a call from them stating they have to cancel the deal because it didn't pass inspection. I went to VAN Chevrolet and requested that I be refunded my down payment and they informed that my check hadn't cleared yet (which it had,7 days prior) and that they couldnt refund me my money. After numerous inquiries and finally obtaining a copy of the inspection report, it appears that a salesman/manager had taken it for a joy ride and blown the engine subsequent to me purchasing the vehicle which they were trying to cover up, then wouldn't take ownership of it. I spoke to as many managers as I could but only got mean stares and the run around. Chevrolet should be embarrassed with their dealership's conduct. By making the mistake of trusting these people, I am out 2 weeks rental of about $600, and I now have to resume my search for a vehicle and incur additional costs.

something has drastically changed at Van. I have had to wait for a long period of time for someone to come out and get me checked in, it seems that none of the service workers care about people that pull up and wait to be checked in. I have always had great service however when leaving 2 messages for service manager Shawn I never received a call back. I will try the new Cadillac dealer for service.

I arrived at Vans on Sunday approx 9 am which was about a hr before they open. I was greeted by Patrick Ortiz. He and I began the usual negotiation ritual which was going well until an unknown sales manager (not Dan who was supporting Patrick) felt he had to stick his nose in. Our discussion immediately started downhill. When I told this mgr that one of his uninformed statements was BS he told me "if you're going to swear at me get the xxxx out". It amazed me that a grown man especially a car salesman was offended by that term but I walked out. I later received a call from Patrick who was able to salvage our relationship. Long story short we were able to make a deal. Part of that deal was that our financing was to be thru a specific financial institution. We signed papers and left. Two weeks later we received paperwork from a totally different institution. When questioned ever employee involve admitted the deal was based on our chose of financing. They said that bank would not allow them to buy down the interest rate. I explained that this was their problem, not mine. After a week of leaving voicemails that were unreturned or talking to managers that "would check into it and get right back to me" with no call back I finally escalated the matter to Chuck Mullins, the General Mgr. He apologized and ultimately did get the situation worked out or so I thought. Two weeks later I received a call from the first bank saying my first payment was late. Another call and email exchange with Trena. Sent obtained a letter which basically said the right hand didn't know what the left hand was doing. Again we assumed everything was good. WRONG! A few days later I received the registration from DMV. Vans had neglected to transfer my personalized plate so I now had a regular plate for my new vehicle. I called and the only person I could reach was Mr Smiley who informed me "that's your problem, you need to go to Motor Vehicle and transfer it". I explained that the plate had been on three vehicle prior and each time the dealer had transferred it. Patrick had removed the plate and we had conversation about it going on the new car. I had also mentioned it to the finance mgr. I had to go into work late and go to DMV to straighten this out. Since all of this I behave received a call from Chuck Mullins who is apologetic and admits they "screwed up on multiple levels".

Took truck in because the service tire light was on. After they said it was done I paid and went to the truck and found the same light still on. Jay was unapologetic and full of excuses but did not have a solution. In my opinion they are totally incompetent and I will never return.

Bring all my cars to Van Chevy for service so when we needed to lease a new car we talked to a salesperson. Showed us a Buick and told us $2500 Down, $99 a month -Final. When we were ready a few weeks later we called and told him we'd be coming in. Showed up and he wasn't there so got to work with his boss. Told by him $4000 down $300 a month. And that was only if you had a non GM vehicle in the household. We have a Honda and a Toyota -we were told neither of those count. Finally got it to $3000 down $180 a month. The next day the person we originally spoke to called and we informed him of the differences. He told us again that he was correct in the $2500 down, $99 a month final. But wouldn't do anything. We were also in the market for a used car/truck and they want us to purchase from them on this car. No chance of that. We can't stand liars, and the fact that they all have different stories to the same car. Will still be taking my cars in for service as I love my advisor, but will not be buying again from them and won't be recommending them.

Absolutely one of the worst car buying examples. This is why I always avoid buying car from dealers. Car listed for 16988... We got there to buy it... Guess what: 1850$ for inspection fee, and another 695$ for protection fee. Total price over 20,000$. DO NOT GO SHOPPING THERE. We came there and Paul worked with us. Kudos and Appreciation for Ashley Salinas - Frustration with Purchase ExperienceOn July 3rd we brought our recently purchased (used) Tahoe into Van's for service on a steering sensor. We had thought this to be warranty service because we had purchased the extended warranty when we purchased the vehicle a week earlier. From the onset Ashley was very warm and friendly and truly interested in servicing our needs. After the technicians had the opportunity to research the condition Ashely immediately contacted us to inform us on the issue and to provide us with frustrating news that the service was not going to be covered by warranty. Ashley handled my frustration very professionally and suggested that I call the sales department to see if they could work through the issue. We reached out to Dave Seifert on Wednesday afternoon, and he said he was not at the dealership but that he would look at in the morning and get back with me. The morning went by and I assumed that Dave made a mistake in saying "in the morning" considering the next day was the holiday. So we waited to see the response from Dave on Friday. By 10 AM there was still no response so I reached out to Dave for an update. He had not looked into the issue at all and said he would get back to us. About an hour later Ashley called to ask how things were going and what if anything the sales group was doing with the issue. I explained the lack of response so far and she said she would look into the situation. I asked Dave for an update and he had nothing but again said he would get back to me. Ashley called back a little later having worked through the issue and was able to get the service covered under warranty. Dave has still not gotten back to me. We received no less than three calls from Ashley keeping us informed of status and keeping us informed of when we could pick up the vehicle. When we picked up the vehicle Ashley walked us through the service and again showed genuine interest and concern for us. She had also realized that the door handles on the vehicle were flaking and researched that there was a recall on the interior handles and she had them replaced for us while the vehicle was at Vans. It was a nice surprise. We have had service done before at Vans and the Service group has always been 5 stars. Ashley gets 5 star stars across the board. This experience with service is what brought us into Vans to buy the Tahoe in the first place. I can not say enough how great the service group has been. This however is not the experience we had in purchasing a vehicle with your sales group and finance group. I would highly recommend your organization for service but I would not from a purchase stand point.Beyond the lack of response I expressed above there were many elements of the sales experience that left us frustrated. The service call accentuated the frustration when Ashley called to state that the warranty did not begin for 60 days and that if it had started immediately the parts would not have been covered. Both of these statements were very frustrating and not consistent with what we were told. I believe we were mislead on the warranty. First off we were NEVER told of it not starting for 60 days. The finance guy and Dave both new we were buying this vehicle to move back to Indianapolis on July 12. I bought the warranty for piece of mind during the road trip. I would have looked at something else if I had been told my biggest risk was not covered. To further frustrate matters I was told on several occasions that this warranty was a bumper to bumper all inclusive warranty. I was told it is so great it even covers oil changes and tires. I was told the only thing it did not cover was wear parts like brake pads. When all this was being shared I asked were is the fine print of the warranty. I was told there was information in the document envelope I would receive and that a package would come in the mail in about 30 days. In the mean time I was told any certified mechanic and 100 deductible (deductible waived at Vans) would get me back on the road. When I got home that night I went to my sales envelope and there was nothing on the warranty. I immediately called Dave and initially he said he could not do anything about getting me the details because that was a finance issue. On the day we picked up the vehicle (2 days later) nothing had been done about my request for more information on the warranty. I asked Dave about it and he brought me to a different finance guy that printed out some generic contract language but could not get me to what I actually signed for some reason. He assured me that I would get a package in less than 30 days.On the day of the sale we were in your dealership for 7 hours waiting for finance and others to get papers together. We already knew the vehicle would not be ready for 2 days, this was just waiting for answers and for finance. We had to consistently ask for Dave or ask where are the finance guys we had to meet to sign papers. We were forced to have negotiating discussions in the open lounge as opposed to sitting in an office or cubicle where the conversation was more private. It was not a very good experience. I know Dave is a new cars salesman and he was taking us around used cars because one of your mechanics referred us to him but the lack of follow through on many fronts has left me very frustrated with the process of purchasing a vehicle through your organization.

Keith Maldonado is the Internet Sales Manager, yet he helped us every step of the way: from working with us via online to meeting with us when we went to the dealership. Overall, it was a great experience with him and with Cody in the Finance Dept; and also with Mr. Cerreta. We were even called back a week later after signing all paperwork and driving off with the Silverado truck we purchased, because they had even worked on getting us a better contract with which lowered our car payment even more (that was also with the warranty we had also purchased)! Thank you Van Chevrolet for making buying a vehicle a POSITIVE experience! The guys at Van are all great and provide excellent customer service. Thank you!

Yesterday my husband surprised with not One but Two New Cars! Unbeknown to me husband was working with Scott DALY to pull off this monumental event. The reason my husband went to Van's and asked to work with Scott, was because of our daughter's outstanding experience a few weeks ago. We were not expecting the same kind of deal that she got, only that we be treated fair. Scott Daly, went ABOVE and BEYOND, our expectations! My husband is still talking about his experience working with Scott and the Van team....they were in his words "EXCEPTIONAL, UNBELIEVEABLE!" The personal attention, and competency of this incredible staff far exceeded our expectations! To say we will be back, is an understatement! To say " Will refer friends and Family to Scott Daly and Van's Chev."... is even a greater understatement....Of Course We Will... ! Never in my 61 years of dealing with buying a new car has it EVER been a good experience! This was an AMAZING first !

Bait and switch?...or just business as usual? Called Vans Fleet department tonight and asked if they would honor an ad price by another local dealer. I clearly stated "will you honor $19,499.00 advertised by Sand's Chevrolet for a 2013 Equinox LS, Paying only tax, title, lic, and DOC fee of $399.00? (Sand's ad verbatim) Chris Pierce in the internet department said he would have to check with his manager. He did so and confirmed yes they would match that price. I further stated, "no other charges" just tax, title, lic, and DOC? He said yes. After driving 50 miles R/T we were offered the vehicle for $21,499.00. A huge waste of time for both of us. I guess integrity is lost on this dealership.

Typical old school bait and switch. The car offered and we called in to verify they had the unit in stock. Magically was involved in a deal when we got there and they couldn't show us the car. Keep in mind it took us 40 minutes from the time we inquired about the car till we showed up to view it. I would never recommend this shady stealership to anyone. Ok, maybe people I didn't like.

I ultimately decided on purchasing my new Camaro through Van Chevrolet mostly in part to Eric Francisco who was the salesperson that responded to my online inquiry. I had reached out to a couple dealerships but one would not answer my questions and mostly wanted me just come in. Eric on the other hand, responded to my questions quickly and thoroughly. That transparency got me into the dealership to test drive the car. Based on my correspondence with Eric, he actually had a couple vehicles which made sense for me to look at. He was great to deal with and pretty funny to boot! I enjoyed visiting with him while buying a car. Don't think I've ever said that before! Then worked with Bob Horchler in finance and he was really helpful and nice. All in all it was a very enjoyable buying experience.

Okay its springtime once again and I am limited to where my car can go! I have learned to pack camping gear in such a way I can drive the 2012 Malibu. However, I want to be more than an urban camper and stick to the nice campgrounds in Arizona. I needed a truck to go where I want and enjoy the outdoors. My first trip to Van Chevrolet in 2012 was a very good so when I found out they were going to be at the tent sale I had to attend. Well I made my appointment with Eric Francisco for first thing in the morning as there was no way I wanted to be outside in the heat unless I was going to be by the pool. ( it was going to be over 100 degrees that day) When I arrived, Eric greeted me with a smile and since he knew in advance, what I wanted we went right to it and there was no stopping. Paul the manager told me what types of trucks that would work with my financing. That was wonderful so I did not waste my time looking at trucks I could not afford.Well that was not to long of a deal and we found the perfect truck just for me and it was even Rudy Red which was nice since I have never had a red vehicle before it was very special to have a truck that sparkles. The finance person bob I think was his name had the paper work ready very quickly and I signed and received my tablet gift and went to see my new truck. The entire process only took a couple of hours and I was on my way. Eric took me to the detail area and showed me all the bells and whistles of the new truck and had it all setup for me. The only thing I needed to do was learn how to drive such a big truck. It is a 2013 Silverado LT and I love it. Eric, Paul, and Bob thank you very much for everything you have done you were the best and since this is my second purchase from them I will continue to buy from Van Chevrolet should I need another vehicle again. For now, I am going to take Chevrolets advice and go Find new roads and Make some new roads along the way! Salesman, S. Flannigan made a cold call to my niece, Bonnie Klein, after noting mileage on her Duramax after service. Long story short, on 4/25/2013 Bonnie traded in her truck for a new Silverado with all the bells and whistles and had a great experience doing so. Thank You Shawn and the staff at Van Chevrolet for such a great experience. It was a very fair deal all around. Bonnie will be sure to return to Az. and Van Chevrolet in the future. April 2013RE: VAN CHEVROLET/CHUCK MULLINS, GM, MATT CERRETA GSM, Shawn McEniry Service Writer, Derek HADDAD, Service GruntI just dont understand these dealers in Arizona. Especially the Vantuyl dealerships that continue to try and completely and royally screw people over in the service department. Its just unbelievable how they snowball people and how they get away with it. This story happens to deal with Van Chevrolet and all the people mentioned above. My wife and I just bought a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. I wanted to take it to Van Chevrolet to have it inspected and then have some warranty work done. Turns out that I needed rear brake pads. Keep in mind that my relationship with Van Chevrolet didnt start off very well about a year ago. I caught them in numerous lies when I first took one of our escalades there. They didnt do certain work like the alignment, they didnt change fluids like they said they did etc. I completely lost it when they didnt do the work the first time and had another dealer catch them in the act. Van Chevrolet did correct the problems the first time though so I thought I could trust them. Well I was wrong once again.I took the vehicle to them to have the rear brake pads, alignment, and brake flush done. Keep in mind that I wanted to have OEM Cadillac Brake Pads put on as well. I even gave them the invoice from the dealer in Tempe where I wanted them to get them from. I was getting cost plus 10 percent on these pads. Instead they ended up putting the cheapest Non Ceramic pads on there.First of all they didnt even do the alignment. The Tow adjustment was completely off. Then I took it to another dealer and they said the brake flush had not been done either. The fluid was pretty dark and it was pretty evident. Then our brake pads were squeaking every time we came to a stop. It was the worst noise I had ever heard. We have 10 cars so I know cars pretty good. I also know when something is not acting right on a car. So I decided to take it to Just Brakes in Mesa, AZ who have lifetime warranty on the PADS. I decided I was going to video Tape the whole process which I will be putting up on my UTube very shortly. I will attach a link at a later date. So when they took the brake pads off it was discovered right off that they never took the rotors off and machined the rotors. How do we know this? The factory clips had never been removed. When we did remove them there was fresh rust behind them. The video will clearly show this and the rotors never been turned. Then they took the hardware off and discovered the Guide Pin and the ears on the pads were completely DRY! This is very bad. The guide pin should have been greased a little bit along with the ends of the brake pads called the ears to Stop and prevent squeaking. Not turning the rotors is just completely lazy and a huge mistake as well. I have all of this on video. Then we took the front wheels off and it was discovered that my fronts needed to be replaced. Van Chevrolet gave me no 24 point inspection sheet to let me know this. Then we put the vehicle up on the alignment rack and it was discovered by Just Brakes in Mesa, AZ that the Tow adjustment was severely off. Van Chevrolet did not even do the alignment but gladly charged me for it. If I never would have taken my vehicle to Just Brakes for a second opinion and third opinion I would have never known.Yes people, I am telling you to start taking your car to another source just to make sure you car or truck or RV or Boat is actually getting the work done that you paid for. It has now come to this in this world. Its sad to say but you just cant trust VAN Chevrolet and most of these dealerships. Even if you do trust them take them to a shop like Just Brakes that will let you watch them do all the work. They will show you talk to you and let you watch them do the work. These dealers are over charging, not doing the work and laughing all the way to the bank. If this happens to you make sure you pay with your AMEX and dispute the charge or dispute it with your VISA and then complain to your State Attorney General and the BBB. Go to the news, radio and anybody else that will listen. The news gets heavily paid advertising money from these dealerships so the news and radio at least in Arizona probably wont do anything for you. But the AG and the BBB will. Dont let these people just walk all over you. Dispute and then take them to Small Claims court. Take your car to Just Brakes or another shop to make sure the work has been done and video tape it. I know it sounds like a lot of work but I am just warning people about the Van Chevrolets out there. Dont trust this dealership or any VanTuyl Dealership in the Valley. They are all Crooks! Make sure you give them a BAD Survey or Review on www.dealerrater.com if they do a terrible job. They all cant stand this.Again, I am just warning everybody in the Valley in Phoenix, AZ. VAN Chevrolet Not to be Trusted!

Went in to purchase a Mitsubishi Lancer that was posted as an internet sale. First, me and my pregnant daughter were seated at sales rep desk for 25 minutes before he even showed up. 2nd when we asked to test drive the Lancer it took another 25 minutes for the test drive. When sales rep appeared we were told that the car was not cleaned and had to be washed because it was sitting under a tree and had to be washed and had to put gas in vehicle that's why it took so long. Thirdly, after the waiting around for the prior's above, the price was changed from $2915 to $2988, the sales rep stated that the car had been on Van Chevrolet of Scottsdale car lot for 15 days and there was not a 172 point check done on the vehicle. The sales rep stated that Van Chevrolet wanted me to pay the $1988 to have the vehicle worked on which Van Chevrolet of Scottsdale wanted to add to the price of the vehicle. Then of course tax, title, license and registration which I knew would be a different price.Car would total $5488 to take off the car lot.So buyer beware of this Van Chevrolet of Scottsdale car lot practices, what you see on the internet is not what you get.Disappointed Consumer

We called the dealership and asked to confirm some information as it was almost 100 miles round trip for us to drive out to look at a vehicle. The dealership confirmed several times by phone that we had been "approved" for our purchase and that a suitable vehicle was waiting and ready for us. We were told to ask for Dan,the sales manager, when we arrived at the dealership, which we did. Dan was too busy eating lunch to come to meet us and handed us off to a salesman who did not know a single thing about what we were looking for. The "appropriate" vehicle was in the back lot, too far to walk. We had to drive back in a lot vehicle to go see it. The vehicle was not cleaned nor ready to be sold. We looked at the first vehicle, which would have been appropriate and were ready to complete our purchase. However, the lender they had "approval" from had never received our paperwork and had not given any approvals. We were also told we were turned down by the lender. Less than 2 days later, we purchased a vehicle from another dealership and were approved for financing by the same bank at the same amount. We were very disappointed in the reception we got from the dealership and the lack of concern about our feelings as well as the total disregard for the expense and inconvenience we incurred in our drive from one end of the valley to the other.

My husband and I decided to take a look at new cars since it was time to trade ours in. After going from car lot to car lot, we ended up at Van Chevrolet where we were greeted by Eric Francisco. We told him we were just looking and no idea what we were even wanting. We looked and looked and then drove a few. We finally decided we like the Chevy Traverse. Eric told us all bout the vehicles and the different options that were available. Once we decided on our new vehicle Eric showed us the price and what we would get for our trade-in, we were ready to buy. At that point we were greeted by Ryan, the finance manager who went over the number, shook our hand and said congratulations. They both made it so easy for us. We then waited a bit for Wayne Reese to get all the papers in order to sign. Once that was done we were on our way out the door with our New Chevy Traverse. Thanks you everyone at Van Chevrolet for all your help, from selection to finance. We love our New Traverse.

I bought a 2011 buick lacrosse, in Feb 2012. I was in a wheel chair, recovering from a broken back and 2 broken ankes. I neededa vehicle I could get in and out of, so I bought the Buick Lacrosse. The car was a certified pre-owned. I drove it for amonth and the car started falling apart. When I took it in for repair, the sales men tried to talk me in to trading it in.They took too long for approval so I left. Another month later I could smell radiator fluid, so i made an appointment forrepair again. This time they tried agian to trade in. They let me know the warranty was up on my Lacrosse, so I had totrade it in. We all oked on a truck, until they told me my credit score would not allow me to get the truck unless I putdown $12000. I got mad and left. I still had to get my Lacrosse fixed, So I took the car to Coulter Motor Company in Tempe. The service Manager heard my story and looked up my Vin. And told me I have about 500 miles till my warranty was up. Coulter changed the power steering pump, front seal, water pump, reprogrammed the computer and fixed all of the leaks. ON WARRANTY!!!But they did tell my my car was in an accident, and couldnt fix the loose bumper or the change in color. I took the car to aa body shop and He said the bumper was missing alot of parts, and who ever sold me the car, fixed and painted it for resale.Again I tried to trade the car in with Coulter Motor company, This time they let me know both airbags have been deployed and The value of the car most likely depreciated $10,000. I was a Handicap conned in to this yearly ordeal. They do NOT care about the customer. Ron Daley and all of the financial managers will do anything for your money. I still have the car and stuck withthe loss. Korey Curley

I took my Chevy SSR into the Service Department for a flown fuse in the Air Conditioner and was told my extended warranty did not cover to find out why the fuse keep blowing and they Wanted to install inline fuses to find out what keep blowing the fuse. It would cost me $550.00 to put the inline fuses in so they would know why it keep blowing and that the Extended Warranty did not cover it. I told them it was outragous and I would not have it done,so I was charged $130.00 with it not being fixed! I called the MPP Warranty Company to find out why they would not cover the repairs and they told me that Van Chevrolet never contacted them and that Manny Ramirez had never called, the Service Manager Shawn McEniry, called me 2 days later and took care of me and did all the work and did it at no charge! Thanks So Much Shawn......

My wife and I recently decided that it was the right time to look into buying a hybrid vehicle and after doing research on the cars we narrowed our choices down to three vehicles. The first of the three vehicles we were going to test drive was located at Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale. Part of the research that I did was not only for the vehicle itself but the dealership as well, customer service is very big in my book and I wanted a dealership that was going to treat me as a person and not a number REGARDLESS of the outcome of the sale, during the research I noticed that a salesman by the name of Eric Francisco had an impeccable rating of 5 out of 5 stars, I had my pont of contact and I was going to make sure that he was going to be the one person that I needed to talk with to make the car buying experience as pleasant as possible for my wife and I. As we were coming all the way from Glendale I wanted to make sure that he was there as well as the vehicle in question so I called first, he was there as well as the vehicle, so off we went. After spending a little time talking to Eric and giving him the pertinent information we went out for a test drive on the vehicle and were impressed with most everything we saw with the vehicle, we finished the ride got back to the dealership and let him know that my wife and I were going to go to lunch and that I would be back to give him our answer, there was no pressure from these guys as we left, he recommended a restaurant nearby so we went and discussed the pros and cons of the vehicle and the way we were treated over some fine Italian food (which Eric actually repaid us for out of his own pocket). When all was said and done we walked away from lunch with the understanding that we liked the vehicle well enough to make an offer so we did, now comes the dreaded negotiating part that I was not looking forward to.....but the dreaded part never came. They (Eric and Smiley) actually listened to what I had to say and worked with me on a price that was fair to both party's, we were treated with "The golden rule". To make a long story short my wife and I drove away in a very nice car at a fair price, this car buying experience at Van Chevy would not have happened without Eric being the consummate professional and providing customer service to us at a level that I have personally never experienced from a car dealer....ever. We will most assuredly be letting the friends and people that we know that Eric & Smiley at Van Chevy are professionals that live out "customer service" in the car buying experience. Len & Stacie

I called about a new Volt. I was called back repeatedly, and practically harassed to come in when they did not even have the car I was looking for in stock. I was called so much I had to ask for them to put me on their "do not call" list. A week later I was called again, a couple weeks later I was called again. Each time by different people who did not have the information to "not call me anymore." I ended up finding the model of car I wanted at another Chevy dealer and started talking to them directly, I am so glad that I did. I bought my car from much nicer and much more professional people before Van's stopped calling me. They even called me one more time after I told them I had already bought the car from another dealer!

Vans is still using old "used car salesmanship". High pressure manipulative tactics. Not a pleasant experience. This feedback is provided hoping that you will reevaluate and change the customer experience. We purchased our car at a different dealership - much farther away - but they provided a more pleasant buying experience with respect for the consumer - not manipulation.

This was my second purchase at Van Chevrolet and I have to say the experience is always a comfortable, friendly, no hassle, no pressure, straight shooting experience. Drew and his team really are commendable demonstrating a respect and an understanding of my financial situation and doing everything in their power to work within my financial parameters. Highly recommend them. Best in the Valley! I can say that none of the other Chevy dealers in the valley came close to offering me the deal that Van offered for the vehicle I wanted. Yet, Van was able to pull it off! They always manage somehow to do it!

Do not deal with Colter, as he is incompetent. We went in, and I knew to the dollar what the out the door price had to be, which ensured that we would have the payment we needed. We told him that I was prequalified for the loan amount, and I would handle my own financing (at2.75%). This is music to any car salesmans ears.We were trading in my girlfriends car, and he matched the trade-in value that we received at another dealership, without even seeing it. We were rolling in some negative equity, which we made him aware of. We were looking at a 2012 Malibu LT, and he said that due to rebates he could get us into a 2013 LT for virtually the same price. We negotiated through phone calls and email, and came to a price that was very close. I have an email from him with the breakdown of the negative equity, trade in value, and out the door price. He emailed me and said he would not lose my business over a couple hundred dollars, and asked when we could be there. We went to the dealership to sign the papers. He went and got his manager (Drew Luis), and disappeared. Drew said that there was no way that he could do the deal that was agreed upon, and that he had no idea from where Colter came up with his numbers. In reality, that isnt my problem. We wasted two weeks dealing with this putz. Drew really didnt know what to say.Eventually, Drew said that they had a fleet of 2012s coming in, with 0 miles. He said the rebates were huge, and that he would do everything he could do to make things right. Another lie. He was supposed to call us and let us know when they arrived, and also agreed to email me with pricing, so I could run my numbers. That didnt happen either. We finally called him, and found out that half of the lot had already been sold, and he had yet to even let us know that they had been there for several days. We went back to the dealership (WHY?) and sat down with Drew. He had the car looked at, and the trade-in value was cut in half. Essentially, he did less than nothing for us. He told me again that he, or someone else would work up some more numbers and email them to me. That was almost two weeks ago.I asked him, as well as people within their online team for the contact of someone higher up, that is not at the local facility, but for some reason, nobody can do so. I have been in sales for many years. I have messed up transactions, and misquoted prices, but when the customer sends me a purchase order, or we have an agreement, you eat the cost. Everyone knows that the real money is in aftermarket. Its a scam; we were burned, and its pathetic.

The sales team at Van Chevrolet were more than helpful. They really helped us get to the price we wanted to pay. The thing that stuck out to me the most is when Eric Francisco, who was the salesman helping us with our new vehicle, was helping me set up my onstar. My husband had already left and I did not have a credit card with me. Eric got out his OWN personal credit card and paid for 300 minutes of talk time. He did not have to do that but out of the kindness of his own heart, he did that for us. Eric Francisco, Ryan Strand and Wayne Reese made us feel comfortable and were not pushy. They really listened to what we needed and they made it happen. Thank you for all your help!

I bought a used car back in January 2012. I was in a wheelchair and needed a car to fit my wheelchair and also be low enough to slide over. The car was a 2011 Buick Lacrosse 19k miles. After driving the car a month we noticed noises coming from the car, and the front bumper coming off. We told (ron) the salesman, he told use to bring it in to get it fixed. When we brought it in, they tried to have us trade it in, car not fixed. Another 2 months later oil started leaking, and we brought the car in for an oil change and to get the leak fixed. Another attempt to trade the car was made. I was out of the wheel chair and need something I could sit up straight in that wasnt low to the ground. Vans chevrolet let me know the warranty was up(30k) and the could get me in a truck with no money down, if I traded the Buick in for another car. At this time I was dealing with the used car salesman (ron),a sales trainee and 2 sales managers. I was lead to believe I was getting the truck and getting rid of the buick, until it was time for signing. Vans did not want the car back and the deal was off. Its now Nov and I took my car in for an oil change, and told Colter motor company my story. They fixed my buick under warranty, which I was 200 miles til it expired at 50k. And they Coulter let me know The car was in and accident before. (radiator bracket bent, water pump changed, steering gear changed and front cover oil leak fixed. The bumper cover falling off could not be fixed on warranty) I CAN NOT believe a company could treat me so bad, lie to me, and take advantage of me. After multiple credit checks (6) it shows on my credit. And I realize the carfax probally lowered the cars value that they didnt want it back. Im glad Coulter Motor Company fixed most of the cars problems. Its to bad a company selling a great GMC product can have horrible customer service.

We drove 175 miles to be told the vehicle we wanted had been sold. Then Damon tried to sell us a demo vehicle with 2000 miles for more with less options than original vehicle.I WOULDN'T recommend this dealer to anyone based on how their ETHICS of business operate.VERY UN PROFESSIONAL & wont be doing ANY business with this CIRCUS.... Save yourself some time & go with a dealership who APPRECIATES NEW & REPEAT CUSTOMERS.... He was only about the here & now, not future business. Also, he dinged my credit running 3 hard inquiries, when one would've been sufficient.

I have been at the dealership once already and I hadamazing service. I sent my parents to the dealership and they are snowbirds. So they drive from home to arizona for 6 months.my dad is very elderly and right away when. He walked in (my father) and smiley heldthe door and quickly seated him and my mother. They wereso tired already from coming back to azsmiley quickly asked for them to have waterand coffee. He made them feel comfortable andat home. Smiley took his time and took care of all their needs. He has a compassionate understanding of the elderly and didn't hesitate to be less than perfect. I am always happy to send my family and friends to Van because ofmanagers and employeeslike Smiley. I am always impressed and his level of proffessionalism is amazing. This is our second purchase at van and not our last. If you go to van make sure you meet Smiley he is good at what he does but he understands the customer wants and needs. And you are heard when you are there.

My experience with Van Chevrolet was Awesome. Me and my husband had first went to the dealership to try to purchase a second vehicle. Our credit was not the greatest and we had doubts that they would be able to help us. With the help from our car dealer Eric Francisco we were able to get into the car we have wanted for the last couple years. The Chevy Cruze brand new 2012 and we are the first ones to drive it. Eric Francisco did everything he could to get us quilified. We are very thankful that he did all he could to help us because without his effort we would still be wishing to have a second car.Everyone at the dealership is super friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you come on the property. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends, family and you! Let them know Karrie Bush recommended them to you!!

We purchased a new 2012 Chevrolet Suburban from Van Chevrolet on 8/29/12. From the moment we called the dealership we had excellent customer service. Upon arriving to the dealership, the salesman Eric already had a very good idea of what we were looking for and literally we drove and looked at one vehicle of which we purchased. That in itself tells me they listened from the moment we met on the phone and didn't try to push something they wanted us to buy on us. The transaction flowed smoothly and fast. Jennifer in finance, with her wonderful personality, settled all the financial aspects of the transaction in record speed while guiding us on financing. I returned to the dealership 8/30/12 upon Eric's request to set up our On Star and go over any vehicle questions we had. He then proceeded to top off our gas tank. It was the best new vehicle transaction I have ever had and would highly recommend Van Chevrolet and their staff. We will definitely be a return customer once again in the future.Sincerely,Matthew Stopp

To everyone who will read! I bought my new car in January of this year and had a wonderful experience buying my new Malibu so much that I referred my friends to buy one. I must say service did not end after I got my keys! Van Chevrolet has the best sales and service I have ever experienced. Yesterday I received a call from my sales person Eric Francisco and asked if I would be interested in the new program and buy the 2013 Malibu. I told him that would be great but unsure if I could since I have only had this one for 8 months. He stated I should come down and we could check and it would not take too much of my time and I set the appointment for today August 18, 2012 when I arrived a sales person assisted me in calling for Mr. Francisco and he was very pleasant. Mr. Francisco greeted me with a smile and we went to see what we could do about the new car. While my car was being appraised, Mr. Francisco and I started talking about my current car and I informed him I was having some tire pressure issues and I told him I was going to wait until my next service appointment. He stated just a min lets see what we can do and got on the phone right away with Tom Kaskas and he told me to bring the car over when I was finished .I asked Mr. Francisco to go with me to service because I am not familiar with all the people down there and he took me over to service and Mr. Kaskas took great care of me and my car and had the issue resolved in less than 30 min. As it turns out I was not able to buy the 2013 yet but I will keep my 2012 a little while longer and defiantly buy my next car from Eric Francisco and Keep bring my car to Tom Kaskas for service at Van Chevrolet. I would recommend these two gentlemen to assist anyone who wants a new or used car and /or needs service. I will say the customer service did not end when they sold me the 2012 and gave me my keys!

Coming from a previous background in New Automobiles and Having in depth knowledge Van Chevrolet and the following employees far exceeded my expectations. In fact, I do not think that any other New Car Dealership in Arizon can even compare. Eric Francisco by far is the most professional and knowledgable sale associate, Vince Maldonado is a terrifc numbers cruncher and Bob Horchler in the F & I department is spot on, quick and efficient. This entire team pulls no punches and they actually listen to what there customers are saying and requesting. I purchased a New Equinox for my wife and this transaction went fast and smooth from start to finish, just like Michael Phelps winning the Gold Medal, that is what this team Eric, Vince, Bob and Van Chevrolet did, they won Gold. I will continue to speak highly of this entire team and refer as many people as I can to them. If your in the market for a New Chevrolet I strongly request that you visit Van Chevrolet and demand to complete your new auto purchase with Eric Francisco, Vince Maldonado and Bob Horchler you will be glad you did. Not to mention you will be thanking me for the entire time you own your new Chevrolet. TOP NOTCH, FIRST CLASS SERVICE. Thank You The Amsley Family.

I was sold a used 2010 Camaro SS with no tags and got a $300 ticket for it. Van will not pay the fine since it is their negligence that caused the ticket to begin with. Furthermore let me drive off their lot and cashed my heavy down payment BEFORE deal ever got approved. Had to demand and call like a madman to get a refund check issued when they called me in to resign. When my refund was issued my trade in car had major paint damage after being on their lot for two weeks which they blamed me for and refuse to pay for. When I demanded to talk to Chuck Mullins their GM they escorted me off their lot. Will never do business with another Van company.

There are plenty of negative comments about this dealership, but I am moved to add to the negativity. I tried to get information on a vehicle they had listed for sale on Auto Trader via email. They sent me a quote for the car, but did not answer my simple couple of questions, now I know because the car was never there. When I drove 2 hours to to see this vehicle, we got some ridiculous story that there was a mistake and the car had 146,000 miles instead of 46,000 miles, but nonetheless it had already sold because, "some guy came in and didn't care about the miles because he was taking it to Mexico anyway." 4 days later the ad is still posted on Auto Trader. The ad was obviously bringing people in; there was another couple there at the same time we were looking for this low miles vehicle. The sales tactics of this dealership are dishonest and immoral. I don't know how they stay in business.

How do you turn a bad situation into a great one? Vans Chevrolet somehow did it! I had a very positive experience when given the circumstances, this cold have turned out to be a really negative experience. The salesman, Eric, really went the extra mile to ensure that my wife and I were satisfied with the selection and the new Malibu we chose, met our needs. You could imagine the disappointment when we got home and discovered that the brand new vehicle (53 total miles) had a leak. Eric handled the whole situation the way one wold expect a reputable and responsible dealer to do. Eric let us choose to have the car repaired or get another car that was as good or better than the one we chose.Justin from finance was outstanding. He cleared a lot of hurdles for us and got us financed at an amazing rate, and Jean in service made sure the car met the high standards I would expect from Chevy. I hope that when the time comes for me to buy another car, this team from Vans will be available to help me get what I need!I would definitely buy from them again.

i honestly cannot say enough bad things about this dealership. i don't even know where to start with my review . . . for one, i told them about an engine noise while test driving a car. when we were discussing purchasing, they told me they would keep it overnight so their service department could look at it and make sure everything is in working order. upon picking up the car, the noise was still there. the dealer told me thats how the engine is supposed to sound. i asked him since i didn't take delivery of it yet, what was going to be done? he told me to take it to the make dealer down the street to have them look at it and bring it back to him with their opinion. of course, they stated there was a problem. van chevy then told me the extended warranty they sold me (by telling me it was a manufacturer warranty, when in fact, it was a third-party warranty) would cover the issue. i called the warranty company and they told me this issue would not be covered. when i confronted the dealer about his lie the following day, he told me he never said it would be covered. he then told me that he "was done talking to me" and just walked away.the financing manager, in addition to lying about who the warranty was issued through, lied about what it would cover. he also added an extra tire warranty on that i explicitly said i did not want. i had to cancel all of these. also, i said i wanted to keep my plates but they sent me new plates and now i have to take time off from work to go to the DMV and pay fees to get my old plates transferred instead of using the new plates they sent me.i also heard the receptionist speaking ill of a customer who was calling in while i happened to be standing there.i can't even enjoy my car because every time i think about it, i get stressed because the purchasing experience was so bad.

I had a really bad experiance at Thorobred Chevy and Van took care of everthing from the ground up. They were able to get the deal done that Thorobred said they couldnt. I am very pleased with this dealer and I have to say it was the best experience that I had ever had buying a car. They now have a customer for life and I will be sending family and friends to them in the future. Thank You and I love my new truck!!!

My wife and I recently purchased our very first brand-new car from Van Chevrolet! We are extremely satisfied with our overall experience. We had shopped around and we were not set on buying a car when we stopped at Van Chevrolet. However, after having our questions answered, test driving a car, and finding a price that fit within our budget, we decided to "pull the trigger" and couldn't be happier.

I explained the situation we were in when we came to buy a car and told them what we wanted, and they were very good at showing us cars as close to what we wanted and in our price range as they could. We ended up with one for the same car payments as we were currentlly doing on a much newer car.

My experience at Van Chevrolet was very good. Our salesman Eric Francisco was very educated on the vehicles we were looking at and we felt very comfortable making our choice. We ended up buying two vehicles instead of one. Steve Pena gave us a very good deal. Thank You Van Chevrolet!!

When I desperately needed a new car Eric was the most helpful salesman I've ever dealt with. I despise buying cars, and always dread it, but knowing I was going into meet Eric, solved all fears. I even got a free lunch from it!! I would recommend him to anyone who is looking to buy a new car!!!

I had a unique situation. My Suburban with over 100K miles was still in great shape but my wife and I talked about trading for a new Tahoe. I also had a low milage Corvette that was seldom used. They were able to make the trade of my two used vehicles on terms that allowed me to buy a new Tahoe.

I wish I could give this dealership 0 STARS. Have been trying to expand my mobile service business and upon trying to finance a new commercial vehicle, I found the banks are being VERY difficult to deal with. I called Mitch Heims over at their Buick/GMC side and explained my financial and credit situation. He told me the "other dealers" couldn't get me financed because they "lack the sales volume" that Van Chevrolet/Buick/GMC has and "Van Chevy WILL get you financing, no matter what". They worked with me on price but played around with "options" and "rebates" to where even being well prepared, was confusing at best. They added in they could put in "FACTORY KEYLESS ENTRY" so it would help me with my unique needs. Was reassured in finance AGAIN we were approved at a decent rate and wrote a check for the down payment (about 10% or so). Got a call the next morning saying everything is ok and vehicle should be ready to pick up. Got dropped off and given the keys with the "key fobs" for the keyless entry. WAS NOT FACTORY BUT A $300 AFTERMARKET SYSTEM I WAS CHARGED $1195 for HIDDEN INTO THE VEHICLE PRICE (NOT A KOSHER DEAL). So I told them to take it out and they refused. Then went as far as to tell me I WASN'T YET APPROVED and I should just take the van home anyways. I've learned NEVER EVER EVER to drive away until COMPLETELY FUNDED. Basically to sum up this LONG and TROUBLESOME effort, we had to get GM Chuck Mullins, Justin Seratta, Brett Glass, and Danny (sales mgr) to try to resolve our efforts. HOURS OF WASTED TIME, HORRIBLE DISAPPOINTING SERVICE AND NOW I have too many inquiries to get appoved ANYWHERE... P.S. NEVER OFFERED ME ANY WATER, WHAT DEALER DOES THAT???

I stopped in to see what this dealer could do for me, and met Eric Francisco. I eventully bought a Chevy LTZ pickup. Eric was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with every aspect of the transaction. I did have a problem with vibration from tires on the truck that I bought, but Eric made sure that the truck was vibration free and that I was completly satified. I would recomend Eric as a salesman to anyone that went to Van Chevrolet.

Typically car buying experiences are not at the top of my fun things to do list. My husband were just looking at cars and ended up driving one off the showroom floor. Richard Glassman, Eric Francisco and Cody Jokerst made the experience a good one. I would definitely recommend these employees and Van Chevrolet to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle.

My car buying adventure was better then expected. During my driving years I had many opportunities to buy cars. My last experience in 2010 was the worst experience that no one should endure but 2012 is off to a great start. I received a phone call from Eric Francisco ( Van Chevrolet Scottsdale Arizona) apparently my review of the last dealership caused a stir and he was compelled to give me a call and talk with me regarding that nightmare. By the end of the call I was on my way to the dealership to meet with Eric keeping in mind I probably will not buy a car today. So I loaded up my boyfriend and off we went to a Chevy dealership. After the long drive we arrived at our destination surprisingly it was not so bad. Many sales people were out side and greeted us with smiles and very willing to inform Eric I had arrived for my appointment. As we waited in the front we looked at some of the cars in the showroom (knowing full well I could not even afford to look at the price tag on them) Eric came to the showroom and was very friendly I was shocked after my last car buying, he escorted us to his cube and sat down and discus my car situation. Before we even looked at cars (which was a good thing because I would hate to waste my time and his) since I had not owned a Chevy since 2001 I was unfamiliar with the current products and not sure what I would like let alone buy. After a little time of looking at my financial situation and then looking for a new ride I decided if things worked I would buy the new Malibu. The finance area was painless for the first time in years this part has always been dreaded but I was shocked at how simple this process was for me because I have less then perfect credit. Life happens and you miss a payment here or there and it looks bad on your credit. This went great and the papers were signed. I took possession of my new car then next morning (since I have bought it in the evening hours I was asked to pick it up in the morning so I could bring in my down payment). Now the hard part waiting for a new car ? Saturday morning we arrived a little early for my 10 AM appointment but once again, we were greeted with smiles. Eric came trotting out with Keys in hand. All my paperwork was in order and finance was happy and I was too. The GM of Van came out to greet me which I found to be a great surprise most GMs do not meet the customers. Eric gave me the keys and we were off. My boyfriend and I got in the car and Eric jumped in the back seat. He spent 30 min showing me how use the on star, the phone system, and stereo. Hey my car has its own phone number and starts remotely. We drove off the lot in my new ride and I could not have been happier. Thank you Eric for making my car buying adventure painless and pleasant think my next car will be from Van

I would recommend this dealership if you want to have a bad day. The expertise of the dealership is the Bait and Switch, of which I am sure Mike Nations is the instructor. I was in the market for an Escalade and found the one I wanted at Van Chevrolet. I called the dealership the day before going there to confirm the vehicle was still there. I talked with Anthony and he said it was still there. I told him I would pay cash and told him I would be at the dealership in the morning. I then called the next day to confirm that the Escalade was still available. I talked with Mike Nations and he said it was and that Anthony would take care of me. My wife and I then went to the dealership. What happened from there was the infamous BAIT AND SWITCH routine. We walked in the door of the dealership and was met by Mike Nations. We told him who we were and he told my wife and I that the Escalade had been sold the day before, but he could get us into one just like it. In the next breath and few moments Mike tried to explain why we should one of 3 Denali's he had on the lot. I told him I didn't want a Denali. He finally found an Escalade in Texas....on the internet...which he wanted us to purchase....sight unseen. It wouldn't be there for two weeks. Needless to say my wife and I left the dealership in disgust, especially in light of the unsavory tactics. We then went to the Benz and Beemer dealership and bought my car....and you know....It was a great experience, even though I went above what I had orginally allocated, but it was because of the total Good experience of the Benz and Beemer Dealership..

I had a decent car buying experience. Eric and Steve were very professional and courteous in handling my deal and working within my comfort levels. The only unpleasantness I experienced was working with the finance department i.e. Roman and boss in closing the deal. They were very aggressive in having me buy a service contract and would not take no for an answer. I felt highly pressured into making that addition to my payment and really felt that they would not close the deal without me agreeing to the upsell. While I did end up agreeing to the contract, in hindsight I have to say that my wishes were not honored. While I would recommend this dealership, it is with caution as the finance people are not as friendly or courteous as the sales staff. If you were to get Roman as a finance person, I highly recommend to pass him up for the next person.

My Experience at this dealership has always been exemplary. We have done business with Van Chevrolet in Scottsdal for years! Management really must pay special attention to having just the right individuals on staff to represent the dealership! Today's experience was no exception! Our salesperson, Eric Francisco was extremely courteous, answered all our questions and delivered expedient, quality customer service throughout the entire process. He followed through the process by showing us how to work our OnStar and actually helped with the setup of our navigation system. We would recommend him to our friends and family. Also, our finance representative, Jennifer Graziani was delightful to work with-very personable and knowledgeable with financing and warranties! Also, a special 'THANK YOU to Chuck Mullins for always stopping over to visit with my husband and myself when we are in his dealership! Great people, great pricing....accommodating and a real pleasure to work with! Thank you from our whole family to th Van Chevrolet family!!!

I had a one year old car that I wasn't very happy with. Actually I was quite happy with the car, but not a bit happy with the German company that built it. I always wanted a Camaro but the convertibles weren't available when I bought my car, so I decided to look into trading for a Camaro. I talked to Ron and Rich when I first came in. I drove 2 cars on a decent length test drive. Then Ron introduced me to Bryan who is a New Car Sales Director. I knew I'd lose a lot of money on my car, but they offered me a better deal than I expected. Through the entire process everyone was pleasant and respectful. They obviously wanted to sell a car, but there was no high pressure. The next day Ron actaully brought the car to my house so I could make sure it fit in my ridiculously small garage and then I bought it. Cody, the Finance Manager, is a real nice guy to talk to and, again, no pressure. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant car buying experience.

Eric Francisco worked very hard to help me with a new car and payments that I could afford. He worked on a deal for me before I ever showed up at the dealership so this car buying experience was the easiest I have had to date. Really appreciate all the people involved that worked hard to come up with a deal that I could live with.

We where at Van Chev. for service for our 2002 Trail Blaser and the Wife was looking at the Traverse. It look like it would fit our needs. A week later Eric Francisco call and we talked about a deal that sounded good. We talked several times after that and I was not sure if I would go with a purchase.Eric call several times more and I finaly decided to set down with Eric. The deal he presented was to good to pass up. We purchased a 2011 Treverse. I have to be honest. This was the very first time that I purchased a vehicle and had no buyers remorse.I went home feeling good about the exsperence. In the past purchaseing a vehicle was worse then haveing routcanal.Eric is very professional.I have given him the name of our daughter to call.

Eric was very reasonable and courtesy on negotiating a comfortable price range for my brand chevy cruze. Having a dealer who understands where I'm coming from, both coming from the east coast and having same common interests\humor and regarding similarities in conversation provides a positive comfort level and trustworthy on buying a new vehicle. Also informative on the gadgets and technology on the car that I've never experienced is very helpful and more confident in using my car. Anyone interested in buying a new car primarily chevy i recommend van chevrolet and Eric Francisco with confidence to deal with. Thanks again

We started looking for a new suv in early September. I had previously driven a Lexus LX470 and BMW X5. We test drove as many as 10 different cars. Chevy was our last stop and Eric introduced us to the Traverse. We knew nothing about it but Eric was excellent at pointing out its many features and extremely spacious cargo space. We went for a test drive and loved the way it handled. We weren't in a big hurry to buy because we had cars to drive and it took 3 more visits back to Van Chevrolet and numerous questions answered by Eric before we drove away with our new Traverse LTZ! Eric made sure he called us regularly to check in or give us new incentives/rebate information. When it came down to buying we knew we wanted to go back to Eric. He made the sale effortless and even delivered the car to me because I had no other way to get there. He spent as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions, and I had a million. He also stayed past closing last night for an hour and a half and made sure that I know I can call him directly with any questions I might have. Overall it was a GREAT experience! Thank you Eric!

I have been very satisfied with the service given me over the past few years. After a recent service I got another call from one of your sales people wanting to know if I might want to trade. I explained that I might be interested but given my past experience with other dealers the deal structure I wanted was very complicated and most would either not want to bother with it(trading in my 2002 Suburban and my 1998 Corvette for a new Tahoe) or would never get near my number to make a deal.Eric and Nick worked and worked the numbers using a new 2011 Tahoe (close out model) that was almost equiped like I wanted (I added 20" wheels and a DVD).Finally we were able to make the deal and everything fell into place. Everyone I worked with could not have been nicer, thoughtful and customer focused. You have a great team.

My experience with Van Chevrolet was GREAT ~ Eric worked very hard to make the transaction go as smoothly as possible. I was looking for a very specific car, within a very specific timeline and Eric was able to make it happen. Prior to working with Eric I was very leery of car sales people. Eric was patient and thorough. Working with Cody was easier then some finance managers. He too was willing to work effectively and within my timeline.

I am in an open BK. I called this dealership to see if they could help me get into a vehicle and if they worked with the company that finances open BK. Nate said yes we do we set a time up for me to come in. I got there and Nate talked to my Uncle and myself about what we were looking for. He walked away for a few minutes and came back with another guy. They guy asked if I had a cosigner. I told him no. He looked at my uncle and said isn't there anybody you can have co sign again I told him no. My uncle told him it wasn't possible. He spent at least five more minutes trying to convince me to have somebody cosign. He finally walked away. Then Nate brought Smiley over. Smiley told me I would never get an SUV and that they dont use the company I was looking to use because their rates are good or something like that. Told them I had been working with the company and just needed to find a newer vehicle with less milage. We asked them what it would take to get into a vehicle they said a down. My uncle said are you saying we would have to have like 5000 dollar down to get a vehicle they said yes. My uncle never told them we would put that down we specified multiple times that there was no down. Smiley had Nate show me a van which I told them I definitely didnt want and it was 4000 more than the Expedition I intially went to look at. They came back and said you have to 6800 down I got pissed at this point. Then they said I would 1500 down and a 15000 or less vehicle. Ok thats manageable now find me one. Nate brought another guy over and he said he would find me a vehicle and call the next day. They called 4 hours after the time they said I would get a call by and wanted to me to look at 12000 05 and 06 vans. I told them the night before it had to be 07 or newer. I went into the dealership livid at this point and Shawn came out. Told him my situation he said I shouldnt have been treated like that and he would get me into something. He had me look at these vans which werent clean yet were falling apart smelled horrible. As we were coming back from looking at them he showed me some vans that were ready to sell on their lot and asked if I would like them told him I wanted an suv hate vans he said he didnt blame me and would work on it. He told me to try a website and said any car on there they could get. We had to have one that I could finance and walk out the door after all fees for 20000 this meant 17000 or less. I called as soon as I got home and asked why I was able to find an 08 van for under 12000 in 30 seconds but his guys werent able to do that he apologized said he didnt know it wasnt right and he promised he would have vehicles on the lot the next day for me to look at. Well the next day came and went and nothing. I called the next day and talked to his manager told him what was going on and that I had found a vehicle. Shawn was supposed to call me right back of course nothing. Called the next day and he said oh I got your message I was busy with other customers. Then said I looked into more and you have to walk out the door for 12000. So I said I will think about it and hung up. That was Tuesday. Wednesday I went to Peoria Ford got a 2007 Expedition EL Eddie Bauer. I financed 20000 and am very happy. I called Shawn for 3 days after that and have not been able to reach him to tell him I will not be working with his dealership. Van Chevrolet is a joke. Their customer service is horrible. I will tell everybody I know what a horrible experience I had and can guarantee they will never get my business.

I purchased a car from Van GMC and the moment i drove it off the lot I had issues. Naturally i decided to take it over to the service department to get fixed. From the start they screwed around with me.. making me weight an hour for a rental that they promised to pay for, but never did. I must have visited the service department 5x with the same issue. Every time I had my car there they promised me the issue would be resolved, but it never was. Finally i got sick of taking it to Van and I brought it over to a local Caddilic dealership and my car problem was fixed within 1 day and I got a free rental. I can't tell you how horrible this dealership is because it would require 100 pages. They screwed up on every level, wasted my time and blamed me for everything. Subsequently, I have removed the Van license plate holder and their ridicules badge because the last thing i want to do is promote this "dealership"

Buying a car is a painful and exhausting experience! My recent purchasing experience with Van Chevrolet and Eric Francisco was the least painful car buying experience I have had to date. He went the extra mile to do what could be done without me having to sit around and wait and once he had some number to work with...then he called to meet with me to discuss my options. Really appreciate all his hard work and consideration.

I was on this site and wrote about an experience I had with Van Chevrolet on March 18, 2011. My Chevrolet Trailblazer was under warranty and I was having some issues with it so I decided to pick Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale due to its close location to me. I had never used them before, instead going to another Chevy dealer close by as well. I was very upset about a charge for service I received when I picked up the car. I figured I was scammed by a typical dealership and there was nothing I could do about it. The bill devastated me financially. I went on this site and gave some poor reviews but I gladly will admit I was wrong. I received a call from the concerned service general manager who heard about my issue. We discussed the situation and to my shock, he was sympathetic to the issue and insisted on working with me towards a fair resolution. I was very pleased with what he offered. In this day and age of companies trying to make an extra buck, it was a pleasant surprise to see Van want to make their customers 100 percent happy and attempt to work something out. You look at that various ratings of car dealerships and you do not always see high reviews of these dealers caring about their customers but that is not the case here. The GM was very reasonable. This honesty and ability to work with this company has earned them my respect and I would return to Van for future service, even after the warranty expires. I would recommend Van Chevrolet to those who look at this site and need service for their automobile. Trust is everything when it comes to car repair and I really appreciate them caring and working with me.

Jake, was very professional . I told him what we wanted , and how I wanted the deal to work. He did exactly what we asked for. There was no messing around , & going back a forth. We picked the car up the next day , and as promised, all was as it was stated to be. We signed the papers paid and was out the door !!! He did a follow up call, just to make sure we were doing OK with the new Truck the next day. I would recomend Jake, and Van's Chevrolet to any one who's looking for professionals, trust worthy dealers, & dealers who don't try to sell you a boat load of CRAP ! I enjoy doing business with straight forward people like JAKE ! With Warm Regards, Charlotte Williams

I bought my tl from christian at an chevrolet. From begining to end people there were great. They were easy to work with, direct and to the point. Christian was very helpful,he went out of his way to find me the car I wanted, he even picked up the bike I traded in from my home himself! Van chevrolet made my first car buying experience so easy and enjoyable. With the help of christian and smiley, I was able to get the car I wanted at a great price. I send everyone I know who is looking for a car to christian, he went out of his way to make me a happy customer, I know hell treat my friends and family the same!

Recently started looking for a late model Corvette. Metro Phoenix, SEA/TAC, Las Vegas, internet, etc. Friend said he thought the one I would really like was ScottsdaleatVan Chevrolet . I did my homework, what I wanted in warranties, options, miles , and price, and headed out. Got their, met Scott Daley, looked at the Vette and started the process. What I wanted to pay, what they wanted, etc. Dan, used car mng, and Matt, gen sales mng, became involved and a "deal" was negotiated. I gave, they gave, and price, down payment, rate, and monthly payment were settled. Steve, financing then took over and reveiwed the warranty options I wanted, the ones that were new to me,payments, and the final financing. I was shown my options and the final papers were cut. After a couple of days , some small questions arose and after a couple of phone calls and a visit all was resolved. I cancelled 1 warranty due to New tires that had their own coverage and another that was redundent on my Wa. state auto insurance. Both without any questions. All in all I am very pleased with transaction and am now helping a good friend/neighbor with a purchase at Van Chevroletwith no qualms what so ever.If I would be looking for another vehicle for us in AZ, I wil not hesitate to return there.David Of Tacoma

Bought a 2010 Tahoe...very professional and upfront. I didn't have to haggle, told them what I wanted to spend and they got me there. Very friendly people in dealership, had no problems finding me exactly what I was looking for and even offered to show me how everything worked and answered all my questions. Left with an offer to call salesperson personally with any problems or questions. Would and have recommended Van Chevrolet and Scott Daly to anyone...won't buy another car from anywhere or anyone else! This is one happy Momma in her new Tahoe!!

This dealership is by FAR the most crooked I have been involved with. The service department is so preoccupied with making MONEY! The customers money that is. As consumers, we dont have the luxury of going under the vehicle to see what is really going on and if we need this or that. I have been there twice now, and this is twice to many! It seems they turn a small job, into a big one. I have spent over 2300 dollars on 2 seperate occasions on things that I was told I needed and was recommended. One time, I came in just for a general check up, my tahoe was running fine, and service calls me back telling me its going to be 3000 dollars to fix everything. When I said, no, thats way to much, he said he would call me back to see what "deals" he could make with his boss and his mechanics. This went back and forth a few times, and I finally said, you know, that still to much 2500 dollars for gaskets, this and that. He says to me "ok, this is kinda of personal, but how much money do YOU HAVE to spend today?" Stupid me, me so concerned about my upcoming trip, I say ok , i have 2000 dollars I can put towards this. He said, let me call you back. he call back, and says I can do the a job that is worth 3000 dollars and make it 2200. This is a "steal" he says and states his mechanic is taking a loss for his wages to do this for me. This service guy, should be working in the sales department. Can you believe, he asks me, "how much money do you have to spend?" Please avoid this place if you value your money!! Seriously, no joke.By the way, 3 months after this huge overhaul ($3000) on my tahoe, in which my 2005 tahoe was fully functional and "good to go" per Tom, I now have oil leaks. Im taking my business elsewhere. I live in scottdale, but will travel as far south as I can to get my chevy fixed and serviced. Please learn from my mistake. I am hard working professional her the valley, and I have no interest in this matter other than warning other people and letting them know of my experience. Please learn from my mistake.

Christian was very professional. He was able to answer all of my questions, and was very helpful. He also helped me decide which option were better to fit my life style. I would definitely recommend Christian to other family members and friend in the market for a new car. It was worth traveling to Scottsdale from Tucson.

Everyone we came in contact with was very courteous. Christian, my salesman, was such a great kid! He was very informative and was able to get me the right deal on my acura. I was tired of going from dealer to dealer and getting the same bs.van chevrolet was the only dealer who took into consideration my wants and needs, without trying to shove me into a car I don't want. Thank you christian and the crew at van chevy! I highly recomend them.

Jake was a very good saleperson to deal with. I didn't feel pressure in purchasing my new vehicle. He answered all the questions I had about my new Equinox. I would recommend Van Chevrolet and Jake Thompson to my friends. I purchased my new vehicle in Jan 2010, but have only a few miles on it, so I haven't needed service yet.

Van Chevrolet is the very example of service after the sale. They are timely, friendly, thorough, and competent. Steve Nichols has gone out of his way to provide an excellent level of service including support on repairs that were out of warranty. They have always delivered the vehicle when promised if not before, called immediately when a concern is discovered or when the work is complete, and done so in a professional manner. An example of this commitment is; I had my Suburban, which I purchased there, serviced before a 1,100 trip to Texas and my Thule car top carrier was severely damaged when they washed the car prior to me picking it up. Since I was getting the vehicle serviced two days before my trip, they went out of their way, searching all over town to obtain a new car top carrier for me and did so in less than a few hours. They even promised to give it a custom matching paint job upon my return from Texas for the trouble. They did so as promised and although I was briefly inconvenienced, they more than made up for it in the end. I would highly recommend Van Chevrolet to all my friends, family, and strangers alike.

On the sales side, I definitely wouldn't go anywhere else. On the service side, in some ways I like Midway better. It's definitely a toss up, but I like both dealerships. I have purchased 4 vehicles from Van over the last 10 years and would have already purchased another if the economy hadn't tanked.

Professional and to the point, I was approached by salesmen Christian. He showed me some cars and I liked an eclipse. We went for a test drive in pontiac and the eclipse. My mother wasnt too crazy about the smaller car but Christian being so informative of the safety fatures, helped mom make her decision in my favor. This was my first good expierence at a car dealership. Most salesmen are sharks, and with Christian I didnt feel like prey. I didnt feel pressured when we talked about prices and monthly payments. My mom was the rock of the deal, she wasnt budging for price. With some carefull negociation, and many "No's" from my mom, I got the car I wanted with the price mom was ok with.

We recently purchased a 2009 Kia Rondo from your used cars department. From the beginning this has been the most unsatisfying ordeal we have ever been through. It started with your salesman Brandon. Brandon has been rude and unhelpful from the beginning. We have dealt with Matt Cereta and Smiley as well. Both have not answered a single phone call since the deal was inked for the vehicle. Matt said that the car would be ready at 11:30am on Friday and that ready meant that the oil would've been changed and the vehicle would've been detailed from bumper to bumper including interior and engine. Well my wife arrived at 1:30 on Friday to pick the vehicle up. Brandon told her she was lying when she reminded him that Matt had stated the vehicle would've been ready for pick up two hours earlier than she arrived. He actually told her she was lying! The car was not actually ready until 6:30 that evening. So my wife sat at your dealership for five hours with our 2 month old son. She finally got in the vehicle and Brandon assured her that your dealership would take care of the detailing on Monday or Tuesday because the detail person was not on the premises. Ok, no big deal, but then she drove the car off the lot and noticed that the gas light was on. Your used car department sent my wife off the lot with an infant in a car with an empty gas tank, are you kidding me?! After stopping for gas, my wife arrived home and I noticed that the temporary tag and registration on the 2009 Kia Rondo, stated that the vehicle was a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. We called and were told that we would need to make another trip back to the dealership from New River so that we could get the correct temporary tag and registration. Needless to say we were both mildly frustrated at this point. But this frustration, that every one of your dealership's employees we have dealt with during this process have continually perpetuated, will only get worse. My wife called Monday to schedule the car detail that has been promised numerous times and Mike in used cars starts giving her the run around, stating that since her salesman Brandon isn't there today they wouldn't be able to detail the car. What does Brandon not being on the lot have to do with not detailing the car? Was Brandon going to do the detailing? I think not. So we spoke with Trina in customer relations. Trina assured me that if my wife brought the car in Monday evening that she would personally handle the situation. Apparently, Trina's idea of personally handling the situation involved telling the detail department to vacuum the car out. If vacuuming the car is your dealership's idea of a detail on a sold car, then that is simply the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. So my wife again spoke with Trina and stated that this was unsatisfactory, so Trina's bright idea was for us to make our fourth trip back to the dealership today to drop the vehicle off. The detail employee who showed off his detailing skills earlier by knowing how to vacuum out a vehicle suggested that we leave the vehicle overnight and pick it up this afternoon. Trip number five and my wife is currently sitting at your dealership and the car is still not detailed. This is completely unacceptable. I guess your dealership's policy is that as long as the car has been sold, you longer have to honor promises or statements. I thought maybe the stereotypical used car salesman that will say anything at all to get a sale was a myth. It appears I was very very wrong. I can assure you that due to the customer service we have received from all facets of your dealership we will never consider doing business with your dealership again. All of the review websites on the Internet will be getting a full report of our treatment, and the necessary individuals in your dealership will also be getting an earful.

Do Not buy from Van Chevrolet.I had a written email offer from Daniel Luis Internet Sales Manager to buy a car which I accepted back in writing within a half an hour!! When I went to give my deposit I was advised that the car was sold but "I do have plenty of other vehicles to choose from."No thanks. I will buy from a dealer that won't screw me around. You should too.

Stay away from van chevy. They lie to get you to buy. They lie on prices. they change paperwork in the finance dept. They blame other departments when something goes wrong. They change monthy payments. And they say everything will be fixed but nothing ever gets fixed. STAY AWAY.

They wrecked my suburban while it was in for service and lied to cover it up. When they got caught, they lied again!Service had my car for 2 weeks to repair and when I got it back the repairs were far from decent! There are still dents, scratches, paint blobs, fisheyes in the paint, the door is popping, the Bose stereo isn't working right, my Ipod connection (that I had hard wired) doesn't work, the headliner front and back is pulled out with black fingerprints on it, when I drive on the highway it's so nosiy with wind coming through the gap in the door.We have given ample time for them to remedy with no results! BEWARE!!We are now seeking legal help to get them to buy or trade out this damaged car for one that's not. They are NOT willing to fix this problem so we have no choice.I Highly recommend STAYING AWAY from Van Chevrolet!!

They advertise low prices in Phoenix Auto Guide and Automart but when you show up at the lot the prices on those exact(stk Number matches) are much higher. I looked at 2 vehicles and was given 6 different prices. When I did show interest in a vehicle and was quoted an (out the door price) it was changed later to reflect Dealer Prep,TTL and Doc fees. What does out the door mean ? We had a very bad experience at his dealership and the tag team approach is getting old. The dealerships might realize some day that if you treat the consumer with honesty and respect your business will do well over the long term. The unimaginitive approach used is an insult to my intelligence and shows their lack of the same.
