We had a horrible experience down the road at one of the large dealerships. After leaving in disbelief over the tactics they tried to pull it was a relief to find Sean at Universal Auto. They are a small indoor luxury car facility and give you the small town feel we are use too. We drive 250 miles and smiled a the way home with our sweet new ride. Thanks again guys ! See you in 5 years !

Not very fond of car salesman, but this was one experience that was quite pleasant. Sean made buying my 2012 S550 one of the best car buying experiences that my wife and I have ever experienced. Friendly, knowledgeable and non overbearing. I normally don't purchased vehicles in the DMV based on the prices, quality of vehicles and salesmanship but Universal Auto Group has one of the best selection of MB to me outside of a MB dealership. Cars were in great condition and priced right. Thanks to Sean and his dad for an enjoyable car buying experience.

Went in looking for a BMW X5 I had seen online. First I visited the "authorized center" from the manufacturer, but the center is owned by another company and not the brand maker. The dealer at the center tried to use all the usual ploys to get us to buy. However after visiting UAG and dealing with Abby, it became a more pleasant experience. Abby knows the business and did not pressure us at all. He gave us a good deal and treated us well. Wish there were more dealer out there like this. Thanks, Abby.

I had been looking for a Nissan Maxima with all the options and low miles for a good price and that is when I found Universal Auto Group. They had the exact car I was looking for, with a very good price. I emailed the dealership and was contacted back by Sean; he told me to come on down and have a look for myself. When I arrived, I was greeted by Abby (Sean's father). Abby brought the car out and went over all the details of the car with me. After seeing the car in person, i loved it even more. I told Abby I would be trading my vehicle in, so he went ahead and gave me an appraisal for my vehicle which by the way was a great offer. I had some things to tie up and headed out, but I met Sean before leaving, as he was with a client when I first arrived. Sean was just as friendly and helpful as his father was. It took about a day or so and a few emails to get everything ready to go on my end, but Sean was there every step of the way and provided professional, efficient and friendly help. I have bought many cars, but it has always been a hassle and never really enjoyable. Universal Auto Group (Sean and Abby) went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase and guaranteed to take care of the little things (purchasing a spare key, replacing tags) it that needed to be done. I would most definitely be purchasing my next vehicle from hem, as well as recommending them to friends. Thank you Sean for all of your help and making my buying experience a pleasure. I love my new car!!

Sean was amazing to work with - he gave us very fair prices on the vehicle we purchased and the one we traded in. The dealership also agreed to purchase an extra key for us when we discovered they only had one - not an inexpensive thing for a Mercedes. They even gave me aguded tour of all of the bells and whistles after we completed paperwork synced my phone with the Bluetooth in the car. A plus! We will be back.

I had been looking online for a pre-driven Mercedes E350 and was having difficulty finding what I wanted in my price range at dealers in my local area. So, I expanded my search to areas farther from my home and that's how I found Universal Auto. I saw a car that fit everything I was looking for and it also had a really good price. So, I made a call to them and then drove over 3 hours to from my home to see the car in person. When I got there I was warmly greeted by Abby and Sean who showed me the car and let me test drive it. It was in great shape but there were a few things that I wanted to see 'improved' on the car before I agreed to buy it. Sean said he wanted us to be happy with the car and agreed to get those things taken care of for us at no extra charge before we took it home. So, we put a deposit down and returned a week later to pick up the car. When we came back the following weekend, the car looked great and was taken care of like they promised... and the buying process was fast & easy. Then, Sean gave me a follow-up phone call about 5 days later to make sure I was happy with the car. That's great service. Not only will I refer my friends to Universal Auto when they want a car...I will gladly look to them first when I need another car in the future.

I had the pleasure of working with Tim in June 2015, and he made the entire car buying process a good experience. I purchased a 2012 BMW 750 Lxi, which looked as good in person, as it did on the website. Tim was and has been very responsive, even after the sale. During my visit, there was a great selection of cars, which were kept in a nice facility and were displayed in a no frills manner. I knew which car I wanted and no one tried to upsell or switch me to another model. I had a minor issue with a tire, which the staff worked with me to resolve on my schedule and Tim even provided a loaner car, while the issue was being resolved, so that I did not have to miss time from the office that day. The team displayed incredible knowledge and professionalism, which is how car buying should be. When I'm in the market to buy again, I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Tim and his staff ... you can't do better.

Tim made the entire process of buying a car seemingly easy! He was very prompt with responding to email inquiries and/or returning calls. The cars were kept in a nice facility and were beautifully presented. I had a minor issue with a blown fuse in the car that I purchased and Tim and his staff researched the solution to the problem. One of his staff members even came to my job to try to fix the problem. When it couldn't be resolved there, he took it to the mechanic for me and brought it back. I never had to take time off of work for any of it! This is how car buying should always be!! When I'm in the market to buy again, I will definitely be back. I highly recommend Tim and his staff.

Whenever I walk into a dealership, I always wish I could know the price they really pay for the car, know that the car I want truly is there, deal directly with the manager, be confident that someone knowledgable about the car has ensured it is in excellent condition, and not get sucked into an exhausting prolonged pre-designed sales process. Then I'd still like to get great customer service and honest answers to my questions with genuine concern for my satisfaction in the process. Then I'd like to not have my teeth pulled Trying to get a good deal. I met Tim at Universal Auto Group only recently after doing some online research and i am happy to say I will never go to a traditional dealership again because he pretty much does all the things I listed for you. I called him up, he was down to earth and very friendly, he explained his business to me, and I asked about his pricing and inventory. I made one trip to his office to take a look at his facilities and inventory and make sure he was the real deal. It was exactly what I was looking for, a no frills business model that passes on the savings to his customers. He has a complete office which opens up to his warehouses where the cars are parked indoors. It reminded me of a scene in the movie 3 Kings where the guys walk into a warehouse, the lights come on and there are rows of luxury cars stacked in rows. I got a real kick out of that. After talking to Tim and test driving one of the cars he had, we decided on what we wanted, talked it over with him, and said we were in no hurry and were somwhat flexible on a few options and colors. But we were firm on getting a great deal. It had to be a great deal. Two weeks later I got a call from Tim that he may have found what we wanted. He then basically over delivered with a car that had more options, was in immaculate condition, and Delivered an amazing deal. Anyone could have said I got a car for you but it has so much more so it's gonna cost more but he insists that's not how he likes to do his business and would rather be fair And treat his customers right. He definitely did an unbelievable job for us. He is full service and gets all the papers, title, and plates done in 20 minutes. Hard to believe. Makes you realize how much time the dealers make you waste which annoys me. The best way to judge a business and people is how they treat you AFTER the major transaction. A few days later after we had picked up the car there was a minor issue with the car (not their fault). They took care of us, took care of the problem, and made it very easy. No hassle, just said no problem we'll take care of it that should not be an issue when you buy a car from us. Excellent customer service. Tim is a great guy, he takes care of you, and its a no hassle friendly car buying experience. The caveat is that if you need to feel like you have 3 or 4 sales people waiting on you, patting you on the back with a watered down cup of single serve coffee in your hand, surrounded by a giant glass showroom with flagship cars on display that you aren't even considering, then you should go to a nearby dealership and pay for that experience. That's ok and for some that experience is important. If you want to save money on the deal then Tim will do that for you.

I have dealt with so many car salespersons but I have never seen anyone as extraordinary as Mr. Tim. On 04/04/15, My family and I visited UAG to check out a 2012 Benz ML 350 4Matic and he was very receptive, courteous and has a thorough knowledge of his vehicles. His facility is very clean and all his vehicles are well kept. Mr. Tim doesn't pressurize you to buy his cars but tells you what you need to know about the vehicle you intend to buy. After purchase, he spends time to educate you about the vehicle and how you can get the most out of it. Mr. Tim is a gentleman whom you can call anytime about the vehicle if need be. He is also very honest. I wish there are more car salespersons like him. He makes buying car less stressful. Mr. Tim keep the great work going, you will always excel!

Flew down from Boston yesterday to pick up my new Mercedes GLK. TOTALLY worth the trip. Tim picked me up at the airport and, within an hour, I was on my way home. The car was exactly as represented. If you're reading this review, you have probably already found a Universal Auto Group car for the right price. Now you are wondering, what's the catch? This weekend, I purchased a car from UAG, and there is in fact a catch. Instead of a brightly lit car lot prowling with attention starved salespeople, this dealership could be described as a storage facility in an industrial park. If an espresso is a requirement of your car purchase experience, this is not the place for you. If on the other hand, you are looking for an immaculate selection of cars, outstanding prices, and a no hassle/pressure purchasing experience, UAG is the right choice. You will feel like you have discovered a hidden gem because you have. Due to their inventory and prices, the sales team doesn't need to SELL...and it shows. They are friendly and courteous, and focus their energy on matching customers to their future cars. A really simple concept executed to perfection.

No Pressure is how buying a car should be. I had a great experience I received nothing but 1st class service from start to finish. I purchased my MB S550 and I can honestly say that Tim and his team at UAG went above and beyond my expectations. If you are looking to buy a luxury vehicle and you dont stop by and see the friendly guys at UAG, then you are doing yourself a disservice and you WILL be sorry that you didnt. Searched online for the specific car I wanted and saw that UAG had MY car. I was a little apprehensive about going to one of the smaller luxury dealerships that I knew nothing about. However, after going to the brand dealerships, negotiating, meeting sales closers and feeling pressure to buy a car I really didn't want, I decided to go to UAG where the car I wanted was priced below all the others in the area. My experience was seamless. I arrived and spoke with Abie about the car I wanted to drive. The car was pulled out of the garage and I was test driving the car in less than 10 minutes. I knew I wanted the car but I still had to think about it. Tim gave me his card and I called him later that evening and we arranged a time to meet. I purchased the car. Thanks Tim for making it so easy. I had a nice buying experience. I would definitely recommend this dealership and will be back when I'm ready to trade up.

No more countless hours at the dealership. No more "pushy salesman" experiences. Great unbeatable prices, Great customer service. Yesterday, despite the fact that they closed at 6pm. they awaited my arrival to pick up my new 2012 Porsche Cayenne and even took the time to help me connect my Bluetooth! I admit I was unsure about going to this dealership, but I did my due diligence and gave them a shot. Best decision ever!!. Tim and the guys did every little thing that made this a painless and highly appreciated experience. I highly recommend this dealership, especially to the novice car buyer who wants to ensure they are getting a great reliable vehicle at a fantastic price. I have been all over the DMV area and Tri State area buying cars in my lifetime. By far the most satisfying experience. Their cars are clean and come with an additional dealer warranty. LISTEN UP FOLKS: If you are in the market for a luxury car and want a great car buying experience, UAG is the place to go! From day one, Tim provided every detail I needed on the vehicle and responded immediately to all of my requests before, during and most importantly AFTER the sale. He realized that I was making a big decision and showed me nothing but professionalism at every stage of the process. I see Tim getting "lots of love" in the reviews here, and I need to mention that Abie, Lenny and the rest of the UAG staff were also FANTASTIC to deal with. When Tim was unavailable, they jumped in and provided the same great level and style of service, playing an integral part in making sure my needs were met. UAG let me take the vehicle to my private mechanic for inspection, they made the changes I asked for and updated the maintenance, all on their nickel. I had new tires and was reassured to know that the car was in tip top condition prior to purchase. My PRIVATE MECHANIC confirmed this!!! The good: - My MB E350 was as good as advertised on the web. My sales manager Tim was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and not superficial like most salesmen tend to be. - Mr. Sarraf (the owner) is a gentleman and scholar. - Test drove the car for roughly 30 minutes and I believe made the deal in less time than that. All required paperwork was handled by Tim making my life that much easier. The bad: - None, not - applicable ;) Now that I have stated the facts of my purchasing experience I would like to give proper kudos to both gentlemen for their outstanding service too me. I felt like whether I bought their car or not their treatment towards me and my wife was exquisite which in turn made me feel more apt to purchase from them. I had another appointment lined up to see another car and well I did not even bother to waste time to go see it. That alone speaks volumes about the car I ultimately purchased, the price, the people, and the overall level of comfort attained while at their dealership. Without a doubt, I will purchase my next MB from them as well as recommend them to my family and friends. AFTER SEARCHING FOR THE VEHICLE I WANTED FOR 2 MONTHS, I WAS ABOUT TO GIVE UP AND JUST KEEP MY PRIOR VEHICLE, AND SAW AN AD FOR THE VEHICLE THAT I WANTED. IT HAD FEWER MILES THAN THE OTHER VEHICLES I HAD RESEARCHED (2012 MERCEDES BENZ GLK 350) AND WAS PRICED $5000 LESS THAN ALL THE OTHERS. I WENT TO UNIVERSAL AUTO GROUP, AND THERE WERE TWO OF THE SAME MODEL. I TEST DROVE THE ONE I WANTED, AND CAME BACK TO THE OFFICE, TOLD THE DEALER WHAT I NEEDED FOR MY TRADE-IN AND MADE THE DEAL RIGHT THEN.TIM LAWRENSON WAS VERY INFORMATIVE, HELPFUL, AND DID NOT PRESSURE ME AT ALL.WHEN I RETURNED A WEEK LATER WITH SOME CONCERNS, THEY WERE ALL TAKEN CARE OF IMMEDIATELY. THIS WAS THE BEST SALES EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

One dealer said the car that I was looking for, and the price that I wanted to pay it ... well, I may as well have been searching for a unicorn. Well, I was able to find that car in mint condition, with low miles and PRICED nearly 10K under the book value. I can't say enough about the treatment and attention I received from Tim at Universal. That fact that I just finished eating Thanksgiving dinner and came up to my office to give a review should say it all. Great dealer, great financing options, if you look elsewhere for a slightly used luxury vehicle then you obviously have money to burn.

From the beginning Tim was honest, knowledgeable and helpful. He didn't let me get anything other than exactly what I wanted and told me the truth about why one car would be better than another. I looked around and couldn't find a better price. He was there to answer my questions even after I made the purchase and for the first time ever....he actually showed me how to use all the features in the car! I purchased a 2012 E Class from Tim. This has been by far the easiest transaction, and I have been purchasing higher end cars over the Internet for years. From the initial conversation to the delivery, he has been extremely nice and fair. I went in, as someone mentioned earlier its hidden in an industrial area, which is great that the overhead is lower. But when he opened the garage door, it was a storage locker of high end MBs and BMWs...all looked and sounded brand new. We went for a drive, and then went in to negotiate. Tim is very fair...it was all on the table, and we shook on a deal in less then a minute (it also helped that he really knows his cars, and the market...not only in Maryland but nationally). They dropped the car off at my mechanic, and he found one issue. The conversation was not "if", but I'll have it taken care of in the morning. Finally, to top it off, Tim personally delivered the vehicle to me. If you are looking to buy a higher end vehicle , I would call Tim first. The only downside, is that I wish I would have met him six months earlier!

First i need to say Tim is such a great guy, make everything really easy and the cars they got nothing but 1 word to describe it AWESOME. I purchased a really nice Maserati quattroporte in a great condition and such a car the Maserati. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I recently started looking to buy a quality used car and a friend referred here by a friend. THANK GOODNESS because this was the easiest car buying experience I have ever had! There was no hassle about buying and I felt very comfortable working with Tim. He has a great personality and the level of service he gave was excellent! Not only did I purchase a great, reliable car but I got a great deal! Tim went out of his way to work with me and make sure that I was satisfied and that means allot to me! I haven't stopped telling my family, friends and even strangers about this place yet!

So I bought a 2011 E class. The price was lower than any similar car in the country. The car is in great condition. The check engine light came on they promptly fixed it. The process was so smooth that I referred a friend who bought a 2013 elantra. Once again there was no similar elantra in the country even close in price. The only downside is the place is hard to find and they don't advertise. The lack of advertising and a class a facility are reflected in the price of the car.

I was in the market for a Mercedes GL for commuting b/c of the comfortable seat. I called and spoke to Tim who arranged for me to come in at my convenience. He confirmed the car had all the features I was looking for. When I got to the location in Silver Spring, the car was out front. Tim is very knowledgeable re Mercedes having worked for them for many years previously. He explained how he has the cars inspected to identify the common problems that arise. He also gets them detailed immediately prior to delivery. Instead of the GL I bought an S550 and am loving it. The "negotiation" was so easy. He offered a great price and I took it. He keeps the margins and overhead super low. Tim really goes the extra mile and you can tell he is getting satisfaction from the happy customers that come from running a business the right way. I expect to be a repeat customer and highly recommend.

Before going to Universal Auto Group, the mere thought of shopping for a vehicle would make me cringe. I hated the run-around and games of other dealerships. Tim and his team have completely changed my perspective. Tim is incredibly knowledgable and helpful and the the vehicles are great. After a pleasant drive to Silver Spring, we had the most pleasant automotive purchasing experience! This small and personable dealership has a variety of luxurious used vehicles and very knowledgable for all makes and models. We were able to test drive many different vehicles which helped us make our final decision. We drove away with a wonderful Panamera at a wonderful price! Big dealerships have big prices. Tim and his staff were courteous, knowledgeable and several thousand dollars less than those flashy, high pressure dealers. Take the time and check them out, you won't regret it.

I have been searching online for almost 3 months when I interested in the BMW 328i. I came across Universal Auto Group on the internet. I drove there last Saturday and looked at their cars. Everything on the lot was beautiful. The staff was very friendly and not pushy salesmen. I got the pleasure of test driving the BMW 328i and fell in love with it. Thank you Tim and staff. I would recommend Universal Auto Group to anyone whose looking for a nice vehicle.

I usually dread buying a car, but the service at Universal Auto Group was awesome. As a customer, I could not be happier with the experience. There was no pressure to buy anything. All of the vehicles were well maintained and are of great value considering the prices; high end without the high end price tag! All of the staff went out of their way to help me make the best choice to suit my needs.They even brought my car to me. Who could ask for more?
