I had been looking for a very specific and extremely popular vehicle with no luck. I finally came across it at Toyota of Renton which is about 150 miles from me. I reached out and Toni contacted me to say it was in fact there and available. I was beside myself, was this going to finally happen? Toni took down all my information got all the paperwork going and took my deposit. I told her I'd like to pick up the vehicle in a few days and she said no problem. That following weekend I traveled to the dealership where my new vehicle was washed and ready with a full tank of gas. I was out of there in a little over an hour, driving back home in awe at how easy the process was. Everyone I encountered was so nice and friendly. Now, I don't want this review to be about pricing but I feel that I should mention that while looking for this vehicle I encountered dealerships that were charging upwards of $12,000 over MSRP, justifying the mark up due to the popularity. Not at Toyota of Renton, they still gave me a fair price and that says a lot about the integrity of this dealership. Highly recommend and totally worth the drive.

Great experience. We worked with Peter and he was awesome. We're in our third Highlander now (first two were leases). This time we purchased. A great family car. Buying from Peter at Renton, was a first. Very trustworthy and he took care of the family too. Mike, in financing, was helpful and worked to get us the best long-term options for us as well. He even followed up after we had signed to help us get a coupon that we had lost sorted out. These kids are growing up quick. We'll be back.

I have brought my cars to this dealership for several years. I find the service people to be very helpful. They have done a great job maintaining my vehicles. This time I wanted my breaks serviced. The technician found that they were running a special on the service and they were able to give me a loaner.

I feel incredibly fortunate that I drive a Toyota and live a mile away from this place. Having my car taken care of has never been so easy and convenient (and at totally reasonable prices). Consistently helpful and friendly service with technicians that know exactly what they're doing.

The initial purchase experience was quite pleasant. I called and spoke with Cole over the phone and inquired about a Highlander XLE and the current specials. He gave me the usual MSRP talk and invited me to come take a look when I'm ready. Right off the bat I could tell he wasn't going to be a pushy salesperson so I went in right after I got some coffee. I immediately set my expectations and was very upfront with him. He responded professionally and promised me that I wouldn't have some loud sales manager come and attempt to intimidate me into purchasing the car ... like I had at the previous Toyota Dealership up north the night before. Instead, the sales manager came over, did the usual dance of offering me exactly what his computer said my car was worth, and then asked how he could earn my business. I told him my terms, which wasn't unreasonable, and we went from there. I didn't feel like an idiot for asking for my terms as I did from the other dealership. I gave a little and he gave a little and we met closer to my terms ... which I felt was fair. Total time frame was less than 30 minutes. No BS back and forth. Of course they took the usual stab at bare minimal. It is, after all, a sales environment where they need to make money which I completely understood. It did take a little longer for finance, but it was a Saturday and working with a financial background I understood that Saturdays usually have less available representative to help approve loans. From there, it took a bit longer that I wanted. They use a 3rd party detailing company a couple of streets over. Overall, they did an ok job, but I found multiple areas that had polish that wasn't properly removed, didn't remove a mark on the seat that I pointed out, and sprayed the very tire spray that I requested them to NOT put on there. These complaints should be more directed at the detail shop though. They did take it back but spent another 45 minutes. By then, I had spent a total 4 hours (or more) at the dealership and my wife and child were starting to get restless. I took the car, but had Cole assure me that the few scratches, minor chips on the hood, and mark on the chair would be taken care of. I have had the car for roughly 2 weeks now and it has still not been taken care of ... but mostly due to my inability to follow up with them.I have purchased 9 cars between my wife and I over the past 13 years and this has been one of the most smoothest transactions thus far. I will, however, correct my ratings should they not hold up their end and repair the blemishes on my brand new car.

Don't go here go somewhere else! Kept me there for over 4 hours bs. Kept my registration on m6 car wouldnt mail it to me. What you can't afford a stamp??? Hit my credit hard with way to many inquiries. Car was overpriced by almost 2,000. When I recover from all of this I am definitely not going back there. Worst experience of my life. Also they took my car jeys from me and I repeatedly had to ask for them back.. Nightmare.

They took the registration to the car I owned and held it hostage. I called 4 times to have them mail it. It went straight to voicemail. No one called me back. Finally sales rep says come pick it up. REALLY! Went to get it because of their refusal to mail it. Because of their hard hit my credit score came down dramatically. It took them 20 mins to get my registration back to me. That's speedy service.

We spent all day at this dealership ready to purchase a Highlander. While Joen was a great salesperson, the process was confusing and we were given numerous run arounds as we negotiated price. The Costco deal was not worth it and they have small selection. What they offered was to get a vehicle from Portland and charge us for the transfer fee. That would also put 200 miles on it. For another car in our second choice color, it would come from Kirkland Toyota (which they also own) and the car brand new had 400 miles on it. They also tack on an advertising fee of $900.00.We walked out and went straight to Bellevue Toyota and in less than an hour we bought our car and it comes straight from factory new no miles. And for less. It was straightforward in Bellevue, took an hour and they were absolute professionals. Renton, you have some catching up to do. (And we have been all over so we know we did our homework).

Went to toyota of Renton. I was just start looking around for a small car , fuel economy, and must be under my budget. I was so glad to have Kevin Fong to show me all the cars especially the Prius(which is my favorite) . He was very patient. He was very knowledgeable about the car. He explained many features about the Prius. And I actually got to drive the Prius. Really made me feel more confident about my choice. My budget was very tight. Kevin also spent time to help me to work on financing or renting the car. He is very professional and patient. Thank you Kevin!

I have just bought a Toyota Camry at Toyota of Renton. The service was excellent. The salesman named Jin Sizong was really friendly and spent his time to work with us. I will highly recommend this dealership to my friend especially Jin Sizong to serve my friends again.

I am very happy of purchasing a car from Eric Ramsey, he was very straight forward with price and even willing to compared prices with Costco. At first I was tough negotiate with prices but he was very patient taking his time answering in a very professional way. I would recommend Eric Ramsey at Toyota of Renton to whom needed a car. Thanks for making my life happier with the beautiful Toyota Rav4.

My husband has had to bring his truck in a few to many times lately. The light came on, usually meaning, time for the oil change. We take it in, and they stated a few other things needed to be fixed.. $800 right off the bat..of course they NEVER bothered to look to see if it was covered by the warranty until my husband asked them to.. Oh.. guess what.. it is.. gesh.. do we REALLY have to do your job for you?? seriously? We get it home, 2 days later, the light comes on again.. so off we go.. this time "one of the clamps broke" on the coolant hose. Hum... Today, the light comes on yet again... so I ask my husband to take it to a different dealership, because it's obvious there is something going on that is not being taken care of correctly. He takes it into a different dealership, they pull up the records only to find out "it's never been reported that the check engine light has been coming on". SERIOUSLY?? WTH!! I have a call into the service manager.. lets see what he has to say.. if he even calls back.. I will update if and when I do or do not get a response. It's amazing to me that such a beautiful looking dealership can have such sub-par service. Such a shame.

Had the worst customer service experience courtesy of SR MarkH. I was looking for a reliable corolla car that would suit my budget. Through my sister's friend, she referred the SR to me. I discussed with him upfront my preferences as well as my budget. However, instead of finding me the unit i need, he was so absorbed in selling me a unit which was way, way beyond my budget. Nevertheless, when asked for the specifics of the car he chose for me, he suggested persuasively that i testdrive the car and decide. It felt like i am being intimidated. Days passed and i have yet to receive the data requested. Thus,i decided to check out other Toyota dealerships. Blessed, Toyota of Seattle found me the unit i need and we closed the deal. When the SR from Toyota Renton learned of this, he started texting me trash and belittling me. Never in my life did i feel so harassed, humiliated and degraded. Toyota of Renton should be very selective in their hiring of employees as their actions would reflect not only to the individual but also to the company they represent.

This dealership has the worst customer service I have ever experienced from any car dealership. The service reps are arrogant, lack compassion and could care less about having pride in the place they work. This bad reputation is not just my opinion, ask the other Toyota dealership and other non Toyota dealerships what they hear. I guarantee it is not good. On the website there are no comments that would ispire someone to want to buy a car there let alone get their car serviced there. The only person I feel has gone above and beyond my expectation is my sales rep Eric Ramsey. Unfortunately he is not the owner nor the manager and therefore his hands are tied. I hope he realizes and goes to a dealership with a better reputation. The manager sets the tone in an environment and this manager or owner must have the same thought process since the employees are allowed to provide whatever service they deem fit only terrible service. Why would anyone want a tarnished and unfavorable reputation is beyond comprehension. Example: The repair needed is going to cost $$$$$ and it is not covered under any warranty. No repair needed just training on the operation of the vehicle. Rear light only turns on when same side door is open. Not our reposnsibilty to get your car here, No offer of suggestion on using Roadside assitance that is advertised in Toyota ads. Like I said Arrogant, and lack of alot of training and knowledge.

They wanted to over charge me by more than $850.00 over Rodland Toyota in Everett, and Burien Toyota for changing a timing belt and installing a water pump. They stand firm when they lied telling me the Toyota service manual requires an extra two hours labor if my truck has a supercharger. The manual says nothing of the kind because no super charger requires attention to remove a timing belt or install the water pump. When I talked to Seam Densmore the service manager about this he said everyone already knew how much money my occupation pays and how they got their information I will never know. But know this, on my last visit for a 12 volt accessory socket to be repaired it cost me $130.00 and having payed the bill in full, only to have to come back twice more for loaner cars to make sure they actually repaired the problem. Result was I was expected to pay another $65.00 to make sure they could accomplish the task that had already been paid for. I think even a slightly uninformed customer should not resemble a "Cash Cow" instead of becoming a loyal customer who can trust the service and the technicians who provide an otherwise valuable service. I will never return to Toyota of Service. Had Burien Toyota had a loaner car available I know I would have been very pleased to trust their excellent service.

No pressure, laid back yet professional service. This is the way a car dealership should be run. They have a sense of humor and are willing to please. The salesman was more than courteous and fair concerning all aspects of the deal. I've bought new and used cars before and most times, it's like pulling teeth from a Tiger. In this case, it was like petting a cat. Overall,a good amount of vehicles to browse as well--from new to used--great inventory. They also had a nice break area where you could relax as they got all the paperwork ready.

Beware of Toyota of RentonThey ruined my new car buying experience! They do not negotiate reasonably or fairly. Had to wait over 2.5 hours just to see the loan officer to sign the paperwork. Then the salesman only gave me one key to my new car! He said "That's what it comes with." I believe they kept the other key so they could try to sell me an expensive duplicate key. I did eventually get another key from them but...they had lied to me...they had sealed "the deal" with dishonesty. Avoid making the same mistake that I have, there are plenty of other Toyota dealerships in our area that are more deserving of your business and are more honest.

I had a bad experience with this dealership. They do not negotiate fairly. They also had me waiting over two hours to see the loan officer after agreeing to purchase the vehicle. After all that, the salesman gave me only one key to my brand new vehicle. He insisted that new cars only come with one key. I believe they kept the other key in an attempt to sell it to me twice! You have been warned. Don't make the same mistake! There are plenty of other Toyota dealerships to choose from!

I am in the market for buying a new fj cruiser and can safely say the prices of these guys were the highest in the area when they know that michael's and burien Toyota will show u the invoice on the car and justify the breakdown of their prices. Got the same car $2000 less at other dealerships. The customer service was bad because when asked about whats the invoice price on the car the sales rep said "you don't want us to make money ?". The price they showed me was the msrp and we know a gas guzzler like fj should not go for msrp in this market. The sales person was discourteous as he calls his manager on the intercom and says "he wants to pay the invoice price" smiling indifferently. No respect for the customer. I work for one of the largest companies in this area and have warned my co-workers to stay clear of these guys.

I set up an appointment to look at a vehicle the prevous night. The sales man agreed over the phone to let me take home the car to show my husband since he had to work late. After driving 30 miles to the dealership the sales man and vehicle were nowhere to be found. He had taken the car for a drive and nobody could could find him. When he did return, he told me it was "policy" to agree on a sales price prior to me taking the vehicle. I told him that we could not agree on a price before my husband even saw the car. So, after spending my entire morning driving up there to do something that we already agreed on, they changed their mind. The sales staff was rude, and treated me less than human because I'm a girl.
