Purchased a new $50,000.00 truck with an additional rim and tire package to be added later. Specifically asked the sales person if we would receive the original tires and rims back. His answer was yes we would.Fast forward a few weeks later to pick up truck after package was installed. We only find the old rims in the truck, no tires. When asked about the tires the sales person said they couldn't transport them back to us. Reminded him that he said we would get them back. He says he will speak to his manager and get back to us the next day.No call after several days, so I call him. His story changes to he never said we would get the tires back. He says the tires were not on the original invoice and were free so pretty much I get nothing. Pretty much told me they were not willing to do anything.These tires were on the vehicle when I purchased and drove it off the lot, so free or not I owned them at that point. I did not sign anything that said they would not be returned with the vehicle.

I cannot recommend this dealership highly enough!Simple and easy negotiations over price. There were no tricks, or games, or hidden fees. They were very open and honest about the price. I made them an offer and they met me halfway (less than 10,000 for a 2013 Prius C with 3 trim) immediately, then took the price down to make up for the lack of warranty. They were willing to let me have it looked over by a mechanic of my choice during the test drive.They drove the car from Greenville, SC to Hickory, NC for me FREE OF CHARGE!The gentlemen who brought the car to me were very enthusiastic and excited to show me the features and how the engine worked, and not in any rush to get the paperwork done. The experience was night and day from other dealerships!I had the car in my possession with tag, title, and a full tank of gas the day after I saw it online and submitted an inquiry. You can't beat this service!!

This is a huge service department, but my customer service rep makes it very personal. I am satisfied that the dealership did what they could to get the parts needed for my warranty work, but Toyota themselves took too long and one exhaust part was very expensive. I wish that the service technicians checked out the car more thoroughly before turning it back over to me - I had to return twice for minor but annoying followup visits to resolve problems

Found the used truck that I have been looking for online drove down on Wed night got there at 715 Ashley spent as much time with me and my wife looking over truck. I went home and took the next 2 days arranging the financing. We emailed back and forth with Ashley and my bank to get everything lined up. Went back Saturday morning. Worked with Joey Delaney (Ashley was with another customer) went over truck again and haggled new price and purchased the truck Ps the truck had not even made it to the detail shop. Will pick up my truck on Monday.

When you are looking for a car, they promise the moon and the stars. Once you have the car, they forget that you exist. The car did not come with a bluetooth phone, so they had one installed. I was told it would be as good as or better than the company installed. I cannot hear anything connected through bluetooth when the car is in motion. So no listening to music from my phone or listening to podcasts on long drives.I had the radiator fluid replaced somewhere else, so it was not on their records. A few weeks later I took the car in for normal servicing, they insisted that the radiator fluid was old and needed to be replaced. I asked them to check it again, they came in with old dirty fluid (which i know did not come from my car) and said I needed the service.I was told my extended warranty was not worth the paper it was printed on, and I needed to pay for all servicing after the basic warranty ended.Many additional issues through the years I have had my car. I purchased my previous car from a different Toyota dealer and had VASTLY different experiences.

I found everyone to be very considerate and interested in making sure I had the new vehicle I wanted. The value received as trade in for my 10 year old Rav4 was better than I expected and top dollar for this vehicle according to KBB. I had occasion in the past to use this dealer for service on the Rav4 and have always been treated well and the service recommendations were performed in timely manner. When I made the decision to purchase a new vehicle I had no misgivings about returning to this dealer for the purchase.

I had gone to Toyota in search of a new car. I have a Scion that I absolutely adore. However, I ended up getting a used Kia in September 2015. Because of the flood in Columbia, we understood the delay in getting our plates. After numerous trips to the dealership, half a dozen temporary plates, and multiple people claiming they'd take care of it and get back to us, we finally were told to get it ourselves. I retrieved my own permanent plates in March 2016. I also was not told about my car needing a wheel lock. When I brought this information to Toyota after attempting to get my tires rotated, I was told they would compensate me for having to buy the wheel lock key from Kia. This was again an empty hollow promise to pacify me. Unfortunately I do not remember the names of all the gentleman that were so falsely helpful over those 6 months. But if in the future I choose to buy another Toyota/Scion, I will NOT be going to the Greenville dealership.

Jim Gibson small body shop manager. Treated me with great respect. I felt I was spending much much more for my car repairs. He treated me like a valued customer. I would recommend hiI will take the credit card info and not run it until Monday after i find out what we can get. I have brought my Toyota Sienna to be serviced at Toyota of Greenville for years now and always had a positive experience. Recently I traded-in my used van a for a new one here and had just as positive experience. I found all service professionals both at reg. service dept. and collisions courteous and professional. Many of their excellent CS rep-s moved on, so I can only comment on my recent very positive experiences with Santiago Giraldo, who goes beyond extra mile with service. I also was lucky to work with ever-patient Chuck in sales (C. W.) who delivered a fair deal and an excellent byuing service - no pressure, exploring all the options and making sure all details are clear and taken care of. He really listens and takes time to answer any questions and gives you time to weigh all the options and be comfortable with your choice. I highly recommend seeking out these two gentlemen if you are looking for a positive experience. I also recommend people evaluating their own demeanor and attitudes when they enter any place of business as not only customers but also service providers deserves respect and benefit of the doubt. And we all have a choice to seek out a different CS rep if we feel mistreated and move beyond negative comments of dealership took corrective measures.

Lyle did an excellent job with explaining everything to me and being proactive in getting the process completed in a timely manner. Took my Toyota Tacoma into Toyota of Greenville for recall service. I also requested a oil change and to check on another issue I was having. Was told about 4-5 hours but "would call when completed". 8 hours and 45 mins later I called. Girl who answered said "I don't know where your car is." On hold for 10 mins she comes back and says it's ready. We get to pick up the truck and the oil had not been changed and the other issue had not even been looked at or addressed! This was a Saturday and there was no manager to be found. I called two times and left messages on the following Monday with no response. Driving the truck Monday evening one of the lights that was "reset" due to a recall came back on and is now blinking and also the check engine light is now on, which was not before! My husband called this am and spoke to someone and I have to spend yet another day with my truck at the dealership to do the things that should have been done when they had my truck for 8 hours and 45 mins. Moral of this story..... Take your service buisness to another Toyota dealership!

Let me just start by saying I would NEVER buy or recommend anyone to this dealer. To start there was a plug in the sidewall of the right rear tire that was pointed out. They refused to replace it or knock the money off for a new one. They were fully aware of us driving from Raleigh North Carolina to purchase this vehicle from them and was more than happy to send us down the road with that. The vehicle was not in good cosmetic condition and smelled of smoke. There was no offer to do anything about that as well. Like I said it was a nightmare. People like that are why car dealers have a bad name! I wish there was a lower rating!

I would not recommend the purchasing a car from Toyota of Greenville and Danny Godfrey. We purchased a used car in March 2015 and the day we brought it home it had a dead battery. We were assured by Danny if we replaced it then Toyota of Greenville would refund our money. 6 months later and we still never received a refund and multiple attempts to ask Danny about the status and there was no response. He was very quick to respond when we wanted to buy but not the least bit helpful in ensuring we were happy with it. I am disappointed that Toyota doesn't inspect used cars better and replace necessary parts when needed. I also am highly disappointed in Danny and his service. I would not recommend ever buying a car from Toyota of Greenville or from Danny.

I bought a 2007 Xterra with 124000 miles. My daughter had put only 5 thousand miles on the vehicle and the transmission went out. I called the dealer and explained what had happen and they didn't leave me stranded . They stood behind me when I needed them. I was really upset when it happen but I do feel better knowing they cared about there customer. I had bought 2 cars from them years ago and never had any issues. Typically have a very good experience at this Toyota. However, this man recently gave my family the worst customer service we've ever experienced. Rude, disrespectful, impatient, superior, know-it-all, and the list goes on. If you pull in to the service center and this man comes out to greet you, you may as well drive away, lest you be spoken down to as if you were lucky he even acknowledged your existence in the first place.

I needed to book an oil change and a recall on my Prius V. If I did it on line I would get a $10 savings. I COULD NOT find anything on the menu for scheduling????? They all were sales oriented new cars, close outs, used cars on and on repeated over and over. I still want to schedule service please tell me how to do it and get the savings. Although Brandy and Steve were very nice, my overall experience was terrible. I was only treated well after I spoke to someone outside of the dealership to complain. I was treated after that when I brought my car in for the second time. When I came back that evening I stood there for ten minutes while I watched 7 employees ignore me. When I looked at my invoice my recall wasn't actually fixed, it was just a preliminary inspection to see if it needed the fix. I was told it was taken care of. I was in tears with frustration and will travel out of my way if I ever have to deal with a Toyota dealership again.

I arrived at 7:10 am for a 7:15 appointment. The shuttle had me back to work by 7:20. The cars was ready at 9:30. I called the shuttle at 10:00 to pick me up, the shuttle got here at 10:03. When I picked the car up, it sparkling clean inside and out. The service rep (Ken) was friendly and courtieous. My salesman, drove my car to the front and I was back to work by 10:30. It just don't get better than that!

I was greeted as soon as I drove in with a sincere welcome and compliment-I think the compliment was extra! I asked for Sherwood Channel because I've worked with him through 3 other Toyotas. No problem he said and alerted Sherwood. Sherwood, as usual was great. He knows me, so we joked a little and he took care of business. He made recommendations and reminded me of the suggestions from before. I listened to him because he has never steered me wrong. And then the best part of the visit-HE WALKED ME TO MY CAR!!! No more hunting and feeling stupid trying to find your car. Fantasic!!! Love the service. Toyota has entered my group of top businesses-QT, Chick-fil-a and TOYOTA. Good job. Please keep it up. Almost forgot. The waiting areas and bathroom are wonderful as well.

I had traveled to Greenville from Columbia in a new Camry LE, provided by a local dealership, for the purpose of showing my mother, who was in need of a new car. Consumer Report and AARP had listed the Camry as a recommended car for the elderly (safety and reliability). As an afterthought, I visited Toyota of Greenville. Although my local dealership had given me a great price, Bruce Morse, along with Mallory Ray, indicated they could beat the price I had been given locally. They indicated the same vehicle would be available in 18 days. The difference was not significant enough to change my mind. I headed back to Columbia fully expecting to buy locally. Within 30 minutes of my departure, Mallory called and presented an offer that I couldn't pass up. The car came in in less than a week; I took delivery; then delivered it to Mom. The whole process was seamless. Hat's off to Toyota of Greenville!

Sherwood was helpful & made sure that what needed to be done was done, & nothing unnecessary was added on. He even helped us use all applicable discount coupons to shave some off our bill. My first at leasing a new car..my husband and I had been discussing whether to lease or purchase, and checked with our investment adviser and others before going the lease option route. Danny Godfrey listened to what we wanted, showed us a 2015 LE Corolla. ...in Brown Sugar (my favorite scent from Bath and Body), did a test drive and signed the lease!!! Being in sales myself, you have to listen to your customer and provide their needs; this is exactly what Danny did for us. My niece had recently purchased a used car from Danny and had suggested we ask for him. JIm Cody was terrific and friendly! My truck had a problem with the light above the bed staying on too long. I didn't expect to have to wait as long as I did. However, I saw my customers in the lounge so I wasn't completely surprised. Overall the wait time was pretty reasonable. I really like the lounge with the different seating options.

Despite it only being Joseph's second day on the job he was professional, flexible and courteous. He made the chore of car buying easy and convenient. And I will be doing business with him/them again although my car is expected to go 300K so most of it will be maintenance. I visited Toyota of Greenville yesterday for the 45,000 mile maintenance on my 2011 Tacoma. I walked around looking at the new trucks while I was waiting. I met Jack Kenefick and told him my truck lease would be up in June. I also told him I was thinking of purchasing it in June. He asked me what it would take to get me in a new Tacoma? I told him what I required and he met my requirements. Bottom line Jack was a pleasure to deal with on the new truck. Jack in my opinion is an excellent Sales person and you should be proud to have him on your staff. In the future when I need a new car or truck, I will look for Jack.

My 2003 4Runner was due an oil change and I wanted my brakes checked since on my previous service note was made to check the brakes the next time the car was brought in. Fortunately my brakes were OK and routine checks were performed. It means sooooo much to me to trust the people at Toyota of Greenville!

My tire pressure light had come on for the second time in less than a month. The first time I had trouble with that particular tire, I took the car to an independent shop near my home. They must have patched the hole with bubble gum, because it did not last. When I got in my Prius to drive from Spartanburg to Clemson and the light was on again, I knew I had to take the car someplace where I could depend on the quality of repair. I dropped in without an appointment, Angel greeted me, I told her my problem and she took the car right into the shop. In less than one hour I had my car back and knew that the puncture was properly repaired. I love Toyota of Greenville!

I bought my RAV 4 in 2007 from Greenville Toyota and have always had good service from your service consultants and service department. This time, I called and spoke with Kevin Naessens, Service Consultant about a a quote I had received from NTE to have my brakes worked on and I wanted to compare their price with Toyota. Kevin provided me with a quote and I brought my car in on 4/15. Kevin Naessens provided me with EXCEPTIONAL service, best I've ever had at Toyota. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the work I was having done and explained it in a way that a 63 year old woman could understand. He was very kind and made me feel that my business was really appreciated. He called me promptly when the work was completed. When I went to pick up my car, it was raining very hard and he got soaked going to get my car, which he brought inside for me so I wouldn't get wet. He had all my wipers on and all the defoggers going. He took care of every little detail in excellent fashion. You better hang on to him!

And this was just for an oil change!Seriously, I do travel a lot but do make a point of coming to Toyota of Greenville for my car maintenance. Recently I had a problem with my vehicle that required me going to ToG for repairs. Although it took several times to correctly diagnose and fix the problem (it was a difficult problem to address and I blame Toyota for creating the problem and not helping ToG properly) it finally got fixed correctly. The two service advisors, Lane Worley and Doug Sedeno, were the only reason I did not get very upset and were excellent in helping me keep my patience. Both kept me informed of the situation and progress on my vehicle through either emails or phone calls when needed. Doug even checked his voice mail and called me back after business hours to answer my questions, on his day off! That's excellent customer service. Both ToG advisors need to be commended. When you have to visit the ToG service center, ask for one of these two! I also need to say a thank you to Marsha Riden for helping me get into a proper rental car during all my visits and service manager David Dodson for making sure the problem was corrected properly.

I took my 2015 Toyota RAV4 in for its first service yesterday. The whole experience from the phone call to schedule through leaving the dealership was very positive. The entire team exhibited excellent customer service. The facility was very nice - very comfortable waiting area with multiple TV's, coffee, a quiet sitting area, etc. They had the vehicle in and out in under an hour. I was very satisfied with the visit.

Bought a 2007 Lexus and even mentioned during the buying process that I expected a full set of keys, two remotes and a possible valet key. Got home and had 1 key with a remote and 1 valet key. Wanted to return the car but my wife said it wasn't an issue. The keys with remote cost $400 so to me it was a big deal especially after I had told the rep I expected a full set of keys. Sales manager said there was nothing he could do so I put my story on their facebook page. In about 10 minutes the GM of Greenville Toyota contacted me and not only promised me a key, which I got, but said it would be a policy going forward and thanked me for bringing the matter to his attention. I appreciate that upper management wants to make sure not only the right thing is done but try and to improve where they can. Nobody's perfect but making policies so repeat mistakes don't happen is important.

I have finally had enough with Toyota of Greenville (ToG) and decided to write a review. In order to get the facts out, seem less boring, and get to the point, I will list out the problems in chronological order.Far from ToG slogan of "Worry Free Experience."1. I was having trouble with my previously great experience purchase ToG vehicle and the service department taking over 3 different times to fix the same simple problem with that vehicle so I decided to just upgrade and buy a new vehicle. (They finally stopped sending me service experience surveys since I was apparently hurting their rating with my constant bad reviews)2. I left a message for the "Exchange Manager" James Durham on two different times to contact me but I never heard back from him. He must be really busy. (on a funny side note, when you go to his web page "toyotaofgreenville.com/vehicle-exchange" and click on the bottom "new inventory" link, it takes you to Greenville Toyota in NORTH Carolina. I even pointed this out to someone during my horrible experience here and it is still there some 3 months later!) Plus they have too many pop ups.3. I then sent an email to the internet manager since James would not talk to me about trying to buy a new car and Steve Jenkins emailed me back. Then apparently I was put on ignore since my follow up emails with questions went to his "spam filter" as he later stated. Why is buying a new car so difficult.4. Since I received no response back I drove to ToG and was put in touch with Josh Reeise since Steve was unavailable. This visit was a complete waste of my time and was the typical car salesman back and forth, and "what will it take to get the deal done", hit the customer with an outrageous price and beat them up attitude. Josh is a terrible and typical sales person. AVOID him please! (More on this later) So I leave mad and angry, but of course typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh doesn't care.5. I use a friend at another local dealership that put me in touch with Dexter Moore at ToG since I wanted to buy a new car and knew exactly what I wanted. I told him what I wanted, I knew exactly what that was still, and he then called me a few days later when he had it on the lot.6. My wife and I go to the dealership to look at this new car and Dexter was very helpful but unfortunately put me back working with the typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh even after I asked not to deal with him. The only problem with the car initially was that there was a pin stripe on it that I wanted removed. Typical tel you anything you want to hear salesman Josh said, "it would be no problem" and reassured me that it was a "tape" style and not painted on stripe and it COULD be removed. I knew this was another typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh response to get me to buy the car. I don't sale cars and I knew it was painted on versus a sticker.7. Then after my wife threatened to walk when Dexter wanted to play the back and forth numbers haggling game, he finally gave us some numbers for our trade and the new car we decided to go forward. We asked them to complete the buying process as quickly as possible but it still took use THREE HOURS to get out of there. 8. Now the typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh" comes back and says the pin stripe is painted on and they cannot get it off. I knew it was painted on already and wanted them to get it off but typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh insisted now that it could not come off. (Amateur me figured out how to remove it in 5 minutes on Youtube when the professionals could not do it at all. Pathetic service!) When typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh told me it was painted on and could not be removed he actually says, and I quote, "I've never seen a painted on pin stripe." Really? Really typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh? 9. I finally got to get into the finance manager's office, Marlone Woodmore and this was actually the best experience at ToG, for now. It was quick, easy and he did not pressure me to much into buying other items I did not need. THREE HOURS later I am finally about ready to leave. 10. I then went over the vehicle before I left and found a chip in the hood in the front and wanted it fixed. Typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh agreed that it would be fixed.11. The sale is now over but I still had a few issues to fix on a BRAND NEW car and I will now explain those and my far from "Worry Free Experience."12. I have programmed a lot of Home Link systems in my life but I was not able to program this one no matter how hard I tried or what I did. I went back to ToG, spoke with Steve Jenkins again and he did a few of the exact same things in my car to the Home Link that I had done and told me he fixed it and to leave! Of course I go home, it still does not work so I call Home Link and spend about 3.5-4 hours no the phone with them on a couple of different times, email them several times, and I still cannot get this thing to work. Home Link advised me on two different occasions that the system in the car was broken and i need to take it back to the dealership and have them replace it under warranty. Remember, this is a BRAND NEW car that I am having to sped hours to get fixed.13. I set up an appointment with ToG through typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh to get this Home Link and chip fixed. Typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh even calls out Jay Torres to get a manager to "OK" the chip repair before it is repaired. Soon typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh calls me and tells me the chip cannot be repaired the way they originally though and therefore they were going to have to repaint the hood of my BRAND NEW car. I agree to this and he says he will send the car over NOW to have the Home Link repaired and this would get fixed quickly since the painting was going to have to take days now and my BRAND NEW car had to wait till they could "get to it" even though I had an appointment that day to bring the car in for that chip repair. This was well before lunch. Then the more I thought about it the more I did not want the metallic colored hood repainted so I called to get my car back. Since typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh would not call me back so I could tell them not to paint the hood, I go to ToG after 5pm that day to just pick up my BRAND NEW car that was already in the shop, had an appointment to be fixed but still had to wait till "they could get to it." Upon arrival I was beyond mad to find out that the Home Link had not even been looked at because they needed my garage remote to work on it. I asked why one of the 5 remotes just for the service bays couldn't be used and became very upset with no explanation and just asked for my car back. Typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh did not even care that I was so angry and just let me leave mad and upset. He had his money and the sale was over so of course he did not care how I felt. I finally just got on the internet and spent hours reading forums and asking questions and figured out how to fix it myself.14. After saying all that I was not going to write a review about my experience but after I pulled a credit report on myself and found a few things I did not understand that were on there from the day we bought the car, I decided to finally write this review to warns others. Especially to warn people about typical tell you anything you want to hear salesman Josh. Since I did not know what these items were on the report and the bank wanted an explanation, I had to call and find out. I tried twice to contact Marlon Woodmore and left messages but he his apparently now to busy to return my phone calls since the sale is now completed. I finally contacted my original car dealer referral friend and he helped me figure out what the items on the credit report were about and what I should do to resolve them from when I used ToG to buy my car.Thanks for reading this and remember this if nothing else, there are other close Toyota dealerships out there that will probably give you better service during and after the sale. If you can, use a buying service like Costco or American Express to cut out all the haggling and make the buying process a lot simpler and easier. One last thing.15. Dear ToG, I have had some joy out of this experience. I have posted bad reviews and even better, told my friends on social media. I know it is working because I have had 2 close friends actually call and personally ask me about my experience and who they should talk to if they go to ToG. Thankfully I talked one out of going to ToG and they bought a car at another dealership. The other I don't think ended up buying a car anywhere.(Finally, I do not expect ToG to respond to this review since they have not responded to hardly anything else I have asked for.)

I am on my second Toyota, a 2010 Venza. On Friday, October 24, had a long list of errands to do, my short Friday, and my car would not start, dead battery. Got jumped off and went straight to Toyota of Greenville, which is not far from my office. Stephen Merritt helped me. He was very nice, knowledgeable and accommodating. I ended up getting a new battery, new tires (which I knew was coming) a 40,000 mile check up and an alignment. Noting that was done was a surprise to me. I will ask for Stephen every time I bring my car in. I understand he has only been there 3 months, but hope he has found a home at Toyota of Greenville.

My mother-in-law brought her 2009 Toyota Scion in to the service department on Friday 26SEP14 to get a check engine light checked out. The dealership charged $95 for a diagnostic fee and told her that they didn't know exactly what the problem was, but they recommended replacing the knockout sensor. The repair was quoted at $600. I felt that the price was too high, so I had her take her vehicle to a mechanic out in town. After a quick VISUAL inspection, the mechanic saw the problem. There were some mangled wires that needed to be replaced. He fixed the problem for $250. It had nothing to do with a knockout sensor. Since Toyota didn't even bother to give the car a reasonable look during their diagnostic, my mother in law felt a little burned about paying $95. She explained the situation to the dealership and asked for her money back. They refused. Toyota could have easily spotted this issue if they were doing their due diligence, however, they chose to charge the routine $95 and not even provide a thorough diagnostic. I would not trust these amateurs to pout air in my tires. OH! That reminds me. They also falsely told my mother-in-law that she had a hole in one of her tires and that the patch would cost $60! It turns out that the tire just needed some air. Not that Toyota would know because they didn't even bother to inflate the tire to see if it was leaking. They let her leave the dealership with a partially deflated tire, putting her in jeopardy of a blowout. Not only did they charge $95 and provide no service of any kind, they blatantly disregarded the safety of my family. I cannot abide by this level of irresponsibility. Shame on you Toyota of Greenville. READ BELOW FOR UPDATE!!!

I was at Toyota of Greenville yesterday for my 10,000 mile oil change and general service on my 2014 Toyota Corolla. Chip came up to me and told me that he'd be right with me as soon as he took care of this customer and that he did. The whole process only took about 40 minutes before Chip came back with my keys in his hand and I was shocked. Chip politely apologized to me saying that they were a little busier than they had predicted they would be but I assured him all was fine. I was pleasently surprised with my experience at Toyota of Greenville espicially with Chip Perry's excellent customer service skills and striving to make a connection with the customer. Great job Chip Perry, Keep it up!

My wife and I just bought a 2000 4Runner from a used car lot with just over 120,000 miles. The service record we got from Carfax showed that the car was well taken car of , but it never had the recommended 100k mile maintenance (water pump, timing belt, head gaskets) needed to keep these things running forever. We also notices a few squeaks and rattles and just wanted the 4Runner fully checked over so we could be confident that our vehicle was solid. I know a few backyard mechanics and got an idea of how much this type of work was going to set me back. The number was a bit scary. I researched the Upstate area to find the most reputable service department and luckily I found that the closest Toyota dealership had stellar reviews. But dealerships are notoriously more expensive than anywhere else...right? Well, it doesn't hurt to ask. So I called Toyota of Greenville and was connected with Chip Perry. He thoroughly asked about the 4Runner, and what I wanted to accomplish with this service. He quickly understood that I was on a budget and I wanted to do as much as I could afford to get our 4Runner as close to "like new" as possible. Like most of us on a budget, I was most interested in the "out the door price" for the different levels of repairs needed. That way, we could do as much now as I could afford and do more later as my financial situation allowed. Chip took the time to talk things over with the Technician (Tony) to see where labor time for the various projects would overlap which would reduce the overall cost so he could get the most accurate and affordable quote for me. The price he quoted was less than quotes I recieved from the independent shops and backyard mechanics who claimed they were cutting me a big deal. The price was so affordable for the main job, that I was able to pay for the second and third tier of work that was needed. Wow!! I was able to afford to get it all done at one time...I never anticipated that. Tony did an amazing job. The inspection was very thorough and the printout report they gave was the quality an A+ college term paper. I honestly feel like Tony treated my car like it was being driven by his mom. He checked ever screw under the vehicle and made sure everything was in spec. The 4Runner runs and rides perfectly now. I am very confident Chip and Tony worked together to get my our vehicle in top shape. If you are still reading this review, you can guess I highly recommend Toyota of Greenville's Service Department. It was my experience that they aren't trying to get as much as they can each visit like other mechanics. Instead, they are trying to make life long relationships. When it comes to my vehicles, Chip and Tony are my guys from now on.

The behind the scenes finance "person" came out and told me that they had recorded all my conversations with their other salesman that I had over the phone and that I was in fact lying about the price that the other salesman had told me for a new forerunner! They supposedly recorded all my conversations and then he called me a liar. (which I am not)I will not be purchasing anything from this dealer!

My wife and I were shopping for a new prius and Toyota of Greenville was one of the many dealerships we were in contact with. I wanted a black prius with dark gray interior. After going back and forth with many dealers, Toyota of Greenville offered us a good price on this car. We drove in on a Friday evening planning to buy the car. When we arrived and were shown the car it was a black prius with light gray interior. The salesman then told us it doesn't come with dark gray interior unless you upgrade to leather. I knew he was wrong (I saw one two night ago at the Anderson dealer) so I made him go and get the brochure. While he was getting the brochure we found a dark gray prius with dark gray interior in their lot. The brochure showed he was wrong. (We didn't appreciate driving 30 minutes into Greenville because the salesman knows less about the cars he is selling than I do, but that isn't the main complaint I have.) At this point we said we need to continue shopping and he asked us to wait because he could get us the car we wanted. After waiting a few minutes he came out and asked us to come inside where his sales manager (the floor sales manager) was waiting for us. This is where it goes really downhill. First he tries to convince us to buy the dark gray car though he won't match the price he offered on the black one he ended up not having. He then said if we want the black prius with light fabric they offer a fabric protection plan, though he doesn't know how much it costs. We said we want to shop around to see what other dealers have. The sales manager said he could check right there on the computer to see what was available. After a couple of minutes he said he'd actually look in his office and bring us a print out of what was available. About 5 minutes later he comes back and tells us there is only one black prius with dark gray interior in all of north and south carolina and it is $8,000 more than what they are offering. I am somewhat surprised since we saw one the other night in Anderson that was $3,000 more (without negotiating) and this was not the one he was showing us. We said we'd think about it and left. Within 5 minutes I found the one in Anderson on my phone, one in Asheville for less money, and several more around North and South Carolina. I highly doubt his ability to search toyotas online is not up to what my phone can do, so the only conclusion I can come to is he flat out lied to our faces trying to make a sale. We ended up going to Asheville to get the car (GREAT experience there). I now hesitate to even take my car to Greenville for service (even though it is local) because if the sales manager will lie to my face I can't say I feel confident the service department won't engage in the same practices.

Toyota of Greenville has got it right. I purchased tires at a very competitive price. I also asked to check brakes and alignment while installing tires. Service dept ( Cory ) called me several times to inform me of suggested repairs found during inspection. Although I couldn't afford to get everything done at one shot, I do appreciate the thorough checks and information updates throughout the day. On a prior visit , I received the same excellent service from Rick Thompson. He is a quality employee. If the rest of the staff is at the same level as these guys, your competition should be worried. Great job, and thanks for being informative and suggesting repairs rather than pressuring to get it all done. People really do make the difference.

I took my car in to have my oil changed on 12/30/13 and while I was there I asked the service advisor to please check for any recalls in my vehicle. I went to pick up my car has the service advisor stated "everything looks good"! Well something just did not sit well with me and I called Toyota Headquarters (Corporate) and I told them my concerns and give them my VIN # and in less than 2 mintues he told me that I my vehicle indeed has a RECALL. The customer service rep. stated that someone from Toyota Greenville would call to follow up to see what exactly exactly happened and to schedule an appointment for me to come in so that the RECALL and be repaired. Two days passed I called corporate again they reassured me again that someone wouold call within one business day this was on 1/14/14. Now that one business day has turned into three days 1/17/14 and NO ONE from Toyota of Greenville has attempt to reaach out to me. I really just feel that the people at Toyota of Greenville has shown poor customer service. My question to them, what if the shoe was on the other foot? If customers did not come to purchase vehicles or have them serviced where would the employee be? I just got tired of getting the run around and ended up calling Toyota of Greer (in which is totally out of my way, I can walk to Toyota Greenville). The service advisor with Greer was super nice and apologetic and has scheduled my appointment.

You guys are the best. I found a similar Sequoia at a small used car lot with less miles and it was 4x4. I liked the Sequoia but would rather do business with you guys. I was sold when the vehicle pulled up from detail and I was the first customer to see it. I was also impressed when Rocky showed me the sheet showing the 2,000$ the dealership spent on the suv reconditioning it for the lot. I have had 17 Foster kids over the course of 7 years and I just adopted more. I hope my family enjoys this suv. 154,000 miles is nothing for a Toyota.

I have owned another Toyota for 10 trouble-free years and certainly wanted to give Toyota 1st cut at my new car purchase (replacing a different brand, not my other Toyota). I stopped by several months before I was really ready to make a purchase and just wanted to browse and help narrow down which car I might like to buy. Jack met me in the parking lot and offered whatever help I might want. As any good salesperson, he allowed me to look through a few vehicles and even test drive one. Through the entire process, he was helpful, but I never felt pressure, which would have quickly sent me on my way to a different dealership. During the following months, he called me a couple of times to offer help, but again not to the point where I felt pressured. Finally, once I felt ready to make the purchase, my wife and 2-year-old accompanied me to the dealership and we looked up Jack. He worked with us for 5 hours as we went through the process of looking over the car, moving car seats back and forth, test driving, discussing various options, and finally working through the trade and purchase pricing. Again, through the entire process, I never felt like I was dealing with a salesperson, but really just a regular guy who was there to help. As anyone who has been car shopping with a toddler knows, a bit of patience is needed. Jack and his team displayed great patience with us and in the end we were all able to meet our goals and we drove away in a most excellent RAV4! I felt that throughout the process, my family and I were treated with respect and that we were able to buy a car that meets our needs for the price we needed to pay.

I arrived at Toyota of Greenville to see a great selection and variety of vehicles. I was not sure if I was actually going to be buying a car on that day, but I at least wanted to browse. I knew my price range, what I could afford, and what I was looking for. Because of previous experiences at smaller and more shady dealerships, I was on the defensive already. I was expecting someone to try to force me or trick me into buying a vehicle. That definitely did not happen. In fact, my experience with the salesman was nothing but pleasant. The salesman was David Dubose. Let me just say that if you go to the dealership, I highly recommend you ask for David. He is extremely down to earth, and he will just tell you how it is without trying to trick you or make you feel obligated to buy a vehicle. He approached as I was looking at different cars and he asked if he could be of any assistance. I told him what I was looking for, how much I was willing to pay, and that I may not even be buying a car. He was friendly and accepted this. He guided me to an 07 Honda Civic. The exterior was beautiful, and it would definitely fit my needs, but was it in good condition and what was the mpg? Had it ever been in an accident? I didn't have t ask any of these questions because David told me the answer to all of those without me even asking. He also showed me the carfax and gave me the rundown of what the dealership had done to the car before putting it onto the lot. Then he asked me if I wanted to give it a test drive. Of course I did. He grabbed the keys, handed them to me, and we took off. The test drive this dealership offers is great. You go down some straight roads, make a lot of turns, and you can also get on the highway. This way I was able to see how the car felt and operated in different situations. I loved the car. I wanted it. Not because he made me feel like I should, but because I made the decision myself that I wanted it. All David did was give me the facts on the car. We got back to the dealership and we worked through getting my old car traded in. Honestly, I did not think I would be able to get a good price for my trade in but I did. I was ecstatic. The finance department at the dealership is great! They made it possible for me to get a good trade in and also get an affordable monthly payment. The process was long but painless. They took care of all the paperwork and I simply had to read and sign the mandatory papers. I was so pleasantly surprised with the awesome experience I received at the dealership, and with the impeccable customer service that I got from David Dubose. Definitely ask for him when you go to the dealership, you'll see what I mean! The dealership also offers some great free and discounted services for after you buy your vehicle, the icing on the cake. Go check this dealership out. You'll love it.

Called to respond to a great advertised deal on a Toyota Camry SE. As it turns out, a customer had just put a deposit on the vehicle so my hopes were dashed. My rep, Steffen Strubel really took the initiative to find a solution that would work for myself and the dealer. He located a similar model in stock, called me back and offered very competitive pricing on it. In addition, my specific situation required a few unusual requirements from the dealership to make the deal happen and they were all met with the same focus on a positive outcome for everyone. I don't know how he did it but he established trust right away so we could both focus on the end result. Once I came down to get the car it surpassed my expectations. Everyone from the reception, his manager, finance and title office were just really nice professional people. I will not buy my next Toyota without giving Steffen a call first!

Joel Gilreath was a very helpfull salesman. He was not high pressure which is the way it should be. However, I did not like the finance procedure where they try to sell you very expensive coverage and then reduce the price to get you to bite. It makes me think that the dealer also agrees that the coverage is not worth the price. It turns me off and makes me think I can get a lot of this somewhere else at a better price. Maybe some of this coverage is really something I need but all the talk and price changing makes me think otherwise. If you would just offer it initially at a reasonable price I think you would be better off, but that is just me.

We were shopping around for a truck to tow a travel trailer. We spoke to 4 different salesmen and the could not answer a simple question about the tow haul package. Seemed like the salesmen were poorly educated about the trucks they were selling. Not to mention when we went for a test drive we had to sit at the gas station for 20 minutes.

It was a pleasure dealing with Ronnie. He was easy to talk to, polite, had a great sense of humor, and we didn't feel like he was playing any pricing games. He gave us his best price from the beginning, and although we tried, we couldn't beat it. We genuinely felt like he wanted us to be happy with the purchase. This was a used car, and it had a couple of scratches on it. Ronnie had it detailed for us and went out of his way to make sure it was done to our satisfaction and the scratches were buffed out. The person he got to detail it (Bobby) did a wonderful job, and the car looks brand new. We will be back to see Ronnie when it comes time to buy a car for my son.

The dealership was not pushy (like others), listend to my needs, and found the car I needed. Went in for oil change. Took service reps ten minutes to address my needs as I stood next to my vehicle. Service rep finally inquired if I had an appointment. I informed him I was just in to have an oil change done. He replied it would be 1 1/2 hour to 1 3/4 hour wait. It's obvious this dealer does not want business. This kind of wait time for an oil change is not only outrageous it's insulting. Will cross them off list of service centers.

After having an extraordinarily bad experience with a dealer in Marietta Georgia (unaffiliated with Toyota of Greenville), we found the exact car we had been looking for at Toyota of Greenville via Cars.com. Since we live in Habersham County, Georgia, we explained to the salesman David Roth that we wanted to arrange as much as possible over the phone before making the drive, so that we only had to make the trip once. He was very helpful and patient with us, making sure that we had all the information we needed and going the extra mile to confirm everything twice. When we arrived, Mr. Roth put us with Charlie G. in the finance department. We already had financing arranged through a third party, but Charlie treated us so well you would think we had financed through the dealership. The entire process did take a little longer than we had anticipated, but Charlie was so personable and supportive, it made up for any frustration we may have had due to time. All in all it was the most pleasant car buying experience we have ever had. When we are ready to trade in our beautiful 2011 Accord for a new car, we will definitely be making the drive back to Toyota of Greenville. One suggestion: the waiting area in the "used" dealership is rather cold and uncomfortable, while the "new" dealership is very accommodating. There is plenty of room in the "new" dealership, and I would recommend that all customers are served there. We were much more comfortable after being moved from the "used" office to the "new" office.

After buying my car from Toyota of Greenville, I was very pleased. Unfortunately, that is where my happiness ended. I was in a car accident recently and had my car brought to the Body Shop. After weeks of phone tag (one day being told they didn't have my car), I was contacted on a Monday saying my car would be ready Friday. Thursday, I called to check that it would be ready. The woman told me it had been ready since Monday (the same day I was told it wouldnt be ready until Friday)!!!! The following Saturday (after having my car back for 2 days), my car began making horrible noises and was towed back to Toyota. They said they would pay for the towing and fix the problem. We were contacted later by Robbie in the Body Shop and told it had nothing to do with the accident, we had to pay for the towing, and it ended up costing another $1000 to replace the torn belt. Even though there were no problems with the car prior to the accident, they said nothing additional was wrong other than the belt being worn (I could pull pieces of it out), and to bring it back for a check up in 1000 miles. Two weeks, and 350 miles later, my car broke down again. The tow was back to Toyota, as it was the same belt torn up again. The service department informed us that they must have used a worn belt to replace the bad one 2 weeks ago, that it was fixed and ready to be picked up. Not believing this, I was very frustrated. I received a call less than an hour later saying the actually ran my car to check on it and the belt was already tearing. These people in both the body shop and the service department are pieces of work. They only give my dad answers, not my mother or I. They are impossible to get in contact with. They are rude and incompetent. They are incapable of doing their job. Once they fix the problem they made, I will never go back there again.

I purchased my used car from Toyota of Greenville at the end of December 2011. I have been extremely happy with it, but about 2 weeks ago the Service Engine Soon light came on in my car. I brought my car into Toyota of Greenville for them to look at it and they told me I needed a new air pump. I went to Used Sales to speak with David DuBose, who sold me the car, and Al Quesada, the Used Sales Manager. After looking at the situation, they agreed to split the cost of the repair with me. I brought my car in for repair this week, and the repair was completely successful. Al and David followed up on the agreement and split the cost of the repair with me. My car is now fixed and I could not be happier or more grateful. Al and David went above and beyond what I could have imagined in agreeing to split the cost with me, and I am so thankful to them for that. Toyota has won a customer for life in me, and I will be referring Toyota of Greenville to anyone that I come across.

For sometime now (a long, long time) I have been wanting to get back into a Toyota.I was upside down on my trade in and was apprehensive about how I would be received by the sales associate and finance person when I shopped for a vehicle. I have to say that I have never been treated with more respect and friendliness when making any purchase.Charlie was so nice and understood my apprehension. I had alot of questions about the different models and he answered each of them with patience and knowledge of the vehicles. We knew exactly what we wanted to purchase, a new Venza. We also knew just what we wanted and didn't want in this new purchase. We selected the car and color and knew we wanted a panoramic roof along with leather.. Mr. Dexter Moore could not have been more solicitous, polite and helpful. He told us he could have the leather installed and the car delivered to our home on a certain day and he was right on with the delivery day, actually a day ahead of schedule. I happened into the dealership by accident, and David was very friendly in showing me a car I was looking at. I wasn't planning on making a decision to purchase a car very quickly, but David was patient and met with me a total of three times helping me make the final decision. I did visit another dealer to look at a car identical to the one at Toyota of Greenville just for comparison. Their service was very lacking, and they were not willing to work with me on price. I called David immediately after I left the other dealership to tell him I was ready to purchase the car. The next day, I had a problem with one of the running boards, and David took it over to the Service Department, who said it would take half a day. He brought it back to me, pulled out some tools, went to work and fixed the car for me in the used car parking lot. Overall, I felt I had a fantastic experience with Toyota of Greenville.

Charlie was real nice to work with. He helped me meet my truck needs. He was very knowledgable about the truck operation and options. Justim was very helpful with the financail options with warranties. He explaaned the forms need and where to sign well.I appreciated filling the gas tank before we took the truck home.

I've been in customer service for 25 years, and have seen just about everything good and bad. Derrick Hill and the staff at Toyota of Greenville were spot-on with very, friendly service and were extremely helpful. We're more than happy that we chose to ride an hour to give our business to Derrick. We've had some pretty bad experiences at other dealers, so it was refreshing to do business in such a positive, inviting, and no-pressure environment.I would definitely recommend Toyota of Greenville to others for business. I cannot say enough kind words about your service technician Eric Christophersen. He has been working on my car for roughly 9 years now and he is always available to assist me when my car needs work. I own a 1991 Toyota Celica that I got on my 16th birthday (I am now 32) with 323,000+ miles on it. It is because of Eric I am still driving this vehicle. This past Saturday, 07/02/2011 - I had contacted Eric to let him know that I accidentially poured power steering fluid in my brake fluid reservoir and he instructed me that I needed to have my brake line flushed immediately. I live in Anderson and every place I had contacted (including Ralph Hayes Toyota) was booked. So I called Toyota of Greenville (drove all the way up from Anderson) and spoke with Chris and he told me that if I bring my car up there by 2:00 he would have it ready for me by 3:15. When Chris called me at 3:15 to let me know my car was ready he stated that they could not get the rear brakes to work and that driving my car was a safety issue. I was upset upon hearing this news because I could not understand how I could drop my car off with the brakes working and then when I picked it up I virtually had no brakes. Per Eric's instruction I told the service rep when I dropped the car off that I would need to have the master cylinder flushed out first and then the brake line would need to be flushed/bled. I called Eric when I picked up my car (obviously upset at the fact that I barely had any brakes) and he asked me a series of questions and said he thought I probably had air in the line. He stayed on the phone with me during my entire drive home (which was a 25 minute drive). He gave me some instructions for me and my husband to look at in terms of the car (i.e. check for leaks, check fluid levels, pump brakes, etc.) and said if the problem was not any better by Tuesday he would look at my car for me. I did not drive my vehicle any on Sunday or Monday for safety reasons. Eric called me on my way to work Tuesday morning and told me to bring the car by Toyota at lunchtime and he would take a look at it to make sure everything was okay. He confirmed that the tech that worked on my car on Saturday did in fact leave air in the brake line so Eric again flushed out my brake line and corrected the problem. He then proceeded to drive my car to my office because I did not have a way back over to Toyota to pick up my car - talk about service with a smile!! It is because of mechanics like Eric is why I choose to do business with Toyota of Greenville and why I will continue to drive Toyota vehicles when the time comes for me to replace my Celica. Eric has always been honest and up front when dealing with issues concerning my car. He has never told me that I needed to spend extra costs on the car unless it was completly necessary. I have referred numerous friends and family members to Eric for services with their vehicles and they all echo the same sentiments about Eric as I do. I hope Toyota of Greenville appreciates and values quality employees and will do everything they can to retain Eric's services because having a good mechanic is like having a good husband - you never want to lose them once you find them!!

I was greeted by Robby when I first arrived at Toyota of Greenville. He was very knowledgable about the vehicles that he sold and when I told him I was interested about in a Camry he began to show me the cars he had available. I told him that I was not sure if I wanted to buy then but I was just looking. We went over the pricing and trade in and When I left that evening I had planned to come back on Monday and buy the vehicle. I changed my mind and called Robby and told him. He let me sit for a day then called me back and put the hook in me with a deal that I could not turn down. I came by after work and he had a Camry sitting in the warehouse waiting for me to test drive. The rest of the process went very smoothly. What impressed me was that Robby never mentioned that he was supposed to get off at 6 PM. I only found this out about a week later when I cme by to drop off a title for the vehicle that I traded in. He was there with me as long as it took and it did not take very long. I think the lady's name that did the financing was Donna but she breezed right thru the process and explained everything to me in detail. When I left that night I was very pleased with my 2011 Camry. I have received several follow up calls to make sure everything is ok with the car and to make sure that I am still satisfied. I have bought 2 cars there previously and would not be a return customer if I had a bad experience. Toyota of Greenville will be my first choice when I am in the market for another car. Thank you for the great service.

Everyone I worked with was very helpful. They were friendly and courteous. My last Toyota I bought in Greer because they had given me more on my trade in than Toyota of Greenville offered but this time Toyota of Greenville gave me a very good trade value. I visited over a dozen dealerships and didn't even originally consider getting a Toyota. However, every other dealership I visited, I encountered pushy salesmen who were not entirely truthful. The Nissan dealership in Spartanburg referred to me numerous times as "little lady". I had never bought a new car before, and so I was a bit nervous and I wanted to take my time finding the right car. Dexter Moore (the salesman) could not have been more helpful. When I told him that I wanted to think about it over the weekend, he said "absolutely" and didn't pressure me at all (the Honda dealership had said "these deals won't last long" and "you should really make a decision today"). Also, the price was amazing. I saved over $1,000 going to them rather than my local dealership. Even when they didn't have the color I wanted, he spent 2 days looking for it and finally found it. With all of the dealerships that I have visited in the last month, this was the only one I actually felt comfortable dealing with and didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of. I have never gone online to leave a review before, so it shows how happy I am! I would recommend them (and Mr. Moore in particular) to anyone without hesitation.

Charlie was provided exceptional service throughout the entire process. I arrived to the dealership 5 minutes before closing time but he still approached me and provided a great price in addition to locating the exact model Camry I wanted and had the vehicle delivered to Greenville. Well that vehicle came in damaged off the truck but that didn't stop Charlie from locating an identical Camry to be shipped to Greenville. In addition I was impressed he worked past his scheduled hrs and did not rush me during out initial meeting although it was memorial day eve as well. He also provided me a demo vehicle due to circumstances and a free full tank of gas during the process. I'm definitely recommending Charlie to anyone who's in the market for a vehicle b/c he rocks!!Also Donna/finance was great to work w/ and helpful in providing money management advice.Guy/service-shop was a pleasure to meet as well.Smitty/sales manager took the initiative to assist me while Charlie was wrapping up business w/ another customer.Those are the reasons for giving Great ratings during my purchase process.

This is the 2nd vehicle I have purchased from Toyota of Greenville and could not be more pleased. I have purchased many new cars in the past and this, by far, has been the best expeirence. Paul was so easy to work with and straight-forward when I bought my first Toyota last year I made sure to ask for him again this year. The business manager was very professional as well. They both really worked around my work schedule and I can assure you I will be back the next time I purchase a Toyota.

We were greeted in a very friendly non-aggressive way. Charlie & the sells managers were very professional & polite. We had previously put a deposit on a Camry and changed our mind. They were very understanding and refunded our deposit. Weeks later we decided to go and test drive the Avalon and had a great experience and ended up purchasing that day. My husband and I searched for a new vehicle and were drawn to the Toyota Camry due to its excellent reputation. We encountered a terrible shopping experience with Greenville Toyota. We were told they ran our application (both individually and combined) with SETF and we did not qualify for the 0% interest for 60 months deal or any dealership incentives. During this process, it took multiple days to receive any information regarding financing. My husband and I did not have a positive feeling about this buying experience process. After receiving finance information along with pricing information (after many days and ploys), my husband and I were very skeptical and thought we would go to another Toyota dealership to either dismiss or confirm our skepticism. Thank goodness we did take our business elsewhere! Come to find out, Toyota of Greenville did not even run our application with SETF!!! We were livid! I did qualify for the 0% financing for 60 months and we bought a Camry that was fully loaded, exactly what we wanted, and saved thousands of dollars! I would NEVER encourage someone to go to Toyota of Greenville Unless you want to spend thousands you should not and be treated like you are scum! From a smart consumer to another, please do yourself a favor and skip Toyota of Greenville. I would recommend taking a trip to Toyota of Easley!
