During the 85,000 mile service on my 2011 Toyota Highlander, the technician noted that I had developed a lot of corrosion around my battery terminals. The vehicle still had the original battery which was approximately six years old. It was determined that I needed a battery cable repair plus a new battery. I requested to see the situation for myself and the service representative gladly took me back to the shop to view the battery and talk to the service technician. I agreed with the diagnosis and had the dealer make the necessary repair and install a new battery. The battery cost was not a great bargain but the price was fair enough that I agreed to have the dealer do the work.

Very pleased with my purchasing experience. Sales department were very friendly and helpful. No hassle involved in the buying process. I feel like I got a fair price and they went above and beyond to get what I want. The new communications system (via text) has taken a good experience and making it truly outstanding. No more having to play phone tag or sitting on hold. Text communication came at every appropriate juncture of the service process, completed with an email and text that allowed immediate electronic payment. Text them back 45 minutes before picking up the vehicle has the car out front and waiting. Simply outstanding service!

It was time for an oil change and tire rotation. The brakes were chattering on hard braking. The rotors needed to be machined. that was done and the car is in excellent shape once more.

I liked my new dash cam features but disliked the unsightly car charger wire draping across the car interior. TOK to the rescue with a helpful service that remedied my problem hiding this wire behind the interior panels. It's nice to know that Toyota of Knoxville provides various services like this for its customers. My wife and I really appreciate all facets of this dealership.

The staff still greeted me as if I were an old friend, took my keys and although they had vehicles ahead of mine, still worked it in and called me to notify that service was complete even before I could finish my breakfast at the local IHOP! Even though my wait was longer than I wanted, I had dropped by on a holiday weekend without an appointment. My car was ready much sooner than promised, and was taken care of efficiently. The service writer was helpful, polite, and made sure to answer all my questions thoroughly. My car was perfect. The whole experience was pleasant and surprisingly quick with no appointment. And, I appreciated the courtesy of the entire service lane staff.

80,000 mile check of my Avalon. I've always found your service reps to be very professional and obliging. Can't understand why your service managers are not listed below. They are the only contact that most customers ever see when coming into your facility for service. I've never had a problem with any of them over the years - 12 years, in fact.It is my opinion that your prices are a bit much when essentially I'm generally in for usually just an oil change and maybe a tire rotation and come out with a $75.00 bill.

My grandmother and I went into the showroom floor this afternoon looking to find a new car. We got the luck of the draw when the sales associate Curtis Winkle was assigned to us. Curtis first and foremost was a gentleman and introduced himself and made sure to get a very clear picture of what it was exactly we were looking for before he even threw out a car name. He then escorted us to his desk where he browsed through several cars with us. He was incredibly knowledgeable of everything that came up, and he quickly pinpointed a car that met our requirements and was directly within our price range. He pulled the car up and was extremely patient and knowledgeable about the car. During our test drive, he wasn't afraid to socialize with my grandmother and I which was EXTREMELY refreshing. Most of the salesmen we had gotten hardly spoke about anything other than the car, and the ones that did came off very awkwardly. Curtis was sociable and able to keep a fantastic balance between his professionalism and being sociable with his customers. When we returned to the dealer ship, he handled the transaction and paperwork process with utmost professionalism and he was absolutely in amazing form. He assisted us in the transfer of items from the old car to the new car, was incredible in explaining the policies and making us feel comfortable from the first car buying experience she has had in 14 years, and my first major buying experience. I will be returning soon for my own car and hope that I can have the pleasure of getting him as my salesman again. He doesn't push anything on you and lets you make your own choices. He offers good recommendations but doesn't push the expensive stuff only at you, which is very off putting when that happens. Thankfully, he wasn't off putting at all. He took care of business but was sociable enough to ease the tension my grandmother and I had buying a car. He really assured us that the process would be worthwhile and we had made a fantastic choice in new car. Curtis, I hope you see this so you know how much of an assistance you were. He represented Toyota with amazing vibrato! Thank you so much!

He described the work to be done, threw in a courtesy was job, which I had forgotten to request, and he gave me an accurate estimate of the time required for the job. When the sun visor broke and fell off in my lap, I ordered a new one from the parts department. Someone in the service area installed it for me. As it wasn't a sunny day, I didn't try to use it till a few days later, when the same thing happened: it fell off. Also it wouldn't move down or to the side. I brought it to the service department and they fixed it so it works fine now. Best of all, they didn't charge me for doing so.

I scheduled a 5000-mile service for my 2015 Corrola by telephone. The receptionist only needed my telephone number to locate my account and vehicle information. The entire process lasted about 30 seconds! I was able to get an appointment slot when I needed it. On service day, I was able to pull directly to the bay and was promptly met by a very friendly greeter who directed me to a service tech (Patrick). He located my record, took my keys and told me he'd call when the work was finished. About an hour later, Patrick called to tell me that the service was complete. On pick-up, Patrick explained the work that was performed and I was good to go! All in all, a GREAT service experience! The service bay seemed busy but very efficiently operated. Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful.

Barry checked us out after the Rav4 we brought in was ready, he is going to discover from the technician where the rodent damage was on the fuel line. While there, I also brought up a problem where a mouse had gotten in my Land Cruiser and we couldnt find it. Barry helped us find it and eliminated what could have been a huge smell issue. Brought my 12 year old Corolla in for a check to see if the valve cover gasket was leaking and to have the AC checked out. It seems the oil on the motor was coming from perhaps a spill the last time the oil was changed. The AC was charged and it's putting out nearly new.One thing was a puzzle. Got to get ready to get in the car to leave and my front driver side rubber floor mat was missing. I looked in the back and it wasn't there. I looked in the trunk and it was there? No idea why they put the mat in the trunk and didn't tell me but, no problem it's back where it should be.

I bought my 2007 FJ Cruiser new at Toyota of Knoxville and have had it serviced there since.The sales team at the time of my purchase was helpful and courteous. The service department is always friendly and professional. They do the routine maintenance and advise you if they see potential issues. The service department is immaculate and the waiting area is comfortable with a nice cafe. I was very pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost of maintenance after my warranty had expired.

Every time I've taken my car elsewhere for service (because, honestly, this dealership is on the other side of town from me) I've usually been disappointed. But I can count on Toyota of Knoxville to be honest about what needs to be done and to perform the work to a high standard. They treat my 14 year old RAV-4 with the same care they would a shiny new one. And the nice doesn't waiting area is a bonus!

Have 2014 RAV4. Not one problem with the car. Only regulate maintenance visits and Autobutler applied. Very courteous and quick. Been able to mostly get service when I need it, but I call ahead, too. Very clean. Very nice place for customers to wait, wi-fi, and manned canteen. Everyone is exceptionally courteous--they even run to open doors for you with a smile.

Within 3 days of purchasing a pre owned vehicle it had a tire explode liquid dripping from engine and trim around door fell off it is a lemon but we took it back to the dealer to make it right after giving them the opportunity to correct the problem and stand behind what they sell this manager approached my husband like he was going to fight him after some choice words were exchanged truly unbelievable! How do these people stay in business? I sincerely hope some will step up and take ownership of the fact we were sold a lemon we choose to buy through them and not craigslist for this exact reason. I hope to not have to further escalate this issue as i am willing to do but all im asking is to make what you just sold us 3 days ago right

We changed our minds several times without deterring her at all. Once we started talking finances, Todd Weber got involved and was also great. They always seem to know just what my truck needs whenever I bring it in. They always inform me if there are any recalls affecting my truck without my having to ask them and they steer me away from un-needed maintenance that I might request which helps save me money on maintenance and their vehicle inspection is very thorough leaving me with a sense of safety with a truck that has propelled me back and forth across the USA to California 4 times now without a single maintenance issue.

We own what was once a pristine Toyota Highlander that was in perfect condition. After leaving it at Toyota of Knoxville for minor bumper repair, it was hit while in their lot by a delivery driver. Over $5,000 in damage was done to our car and they have told every kind of lie imaginable re how it would be handled. They said they were paying for rental car, which they did not do until we discovered that they had lied and it was on our credit card. They said that they would handle devaluation of car since the $5,000 in damage was done, another lie. It has not happened and the car was hit over 2 months ago.They did repair our car, but now that it has sustained over $5,000 in damages as a direct result of being in their lot-they are doing absolutely NOTHING to make this right.DO NOT believe anything they tell you. I have never had to deal with a business that is so shady from top to bottom and cannot imagine how they are STAYING in business. There are a lot of good reputable collision repair centers in Knoxville but THIS is not one of them. AVOID.

The sales associate was pretty uninterested in even showing us vehicles. I guess we didn't look like we has much money since we pulled up in our Subaru. He walked us right past the new vehicles to the used lot (we didn't tell him we were looking for used cars.....because we weren't ) We just sort of "side-eyed" each other and played along since we knew at that point we wouldn't have puchased a car from him if he was giving them away. It's a shame because we were looking forward to buying a new SUV that day. He basically told us they only keep cars for 2 days before they're gone so there was no point in showing us anything in stock. It was pretty ridiculous. We'll shop with Honda or Acura for this next SUV.

After doing some research online my husband and I were very interested in the Toyota RAV4. I went by Toyota of Knoxville on my lunch break and ended up test driving the RAV4 Hybrid, after getting lots of great information from John Rourk about each different model. John spent a lot of time with me explaining all the different features and answering my questions. After talking more at home we decided on the SE edition but wanted the full tech package (including birds eye camera). This was not immediately available in stock, but John spent time finding the exact car we were looking for - which ended up being located in the showroom of a sister dealership. He called us the next day and personally picked up the car for us. We were so excited to find exactly what we were looking for! We signed all the papers the next day and drove her home. All in all it had taken less than 1 week to find our dream car. We are extremely happy with our decision and I couldn't recommend Toyota of Knoxville highly enough!

About 3 weeks ago bought a very good looking black 2010 Xtrra . Now check engine light on and engine running ruff. The car was "As Is" but was told that mechanics at dealership screen all used cars and only put great quality ones on sales lot . It looked so good we bought it . Due to financial reasons did not get warranty -that very bad decision is on us . We checked the car out at Auto Zone and it's looking like transmission trouble. So now we have a handson car , car payment, and probably a big repair bill. Lesson : don't buy unless can get a warenty. All sales people were wonderful to work with .

My Mom knew I was very interested in the Toyota 4Runner. When she was there getting her Toyota serviced, she saw a 4Runner on the lot. She talked to a salesman, Dylan Pyle. She called me and told me it was just what I was looking for. It took me about an hour to get there, but I test drove it, and Dylan was very kind and patient to answer all my questions. He worked hard to get me a deal that I could afford and I traded and had the 4Runner I wanted. The experience was great - and to the point that I never want to drive anything but a Toyota, and I'll deal with Toyota of Knoxville for my needs. I have been to this dealership many times for service, and they are always kind, and the facilities are very nice and comfortable. You feel like someone who is special when you are there.

Traded in my 2004 f 150 for a 2008 GMC Acadia. The sales guy was fantastic and they called back the next day after turning down my offer, we made a deal. Within 24 hours the vehicle was running horrible and I called the sales guy back and his managers suggested I take it to local gm dealer to get checked out. After $100 out of my pocket I found out there was $5000 in repairs that were needed (transmission, torque converter, oil leak under timing cover) so I took it back and pleaded my case with the manager. After we talked for a while he was willing to trade me out of that vehicle and put me into another one of their used cars. At this point I wanted my truck back and that wasn't an option. He made a list of vehicles they could afford to make this deal with and it was a handful of cars and small suvs that I would have never wasted my time with and I continued to get more disgusted and irritated. I was there from 10 am to 4 pm (after working a 12 hour night shift) before my sales guy mentioned I could just take the money, 6 hours later before I ever hear the mention that they were willing to refund the entire deal. We took the money and left, with no car. Would have left far earlier if that was ever offered to me. Waited for an hour for my wife to come get me and bought a Silverado at another dealership. We have used their service dept before and enjoyed the experienced, my sales guy was very helpful every step of the way but I feel like management could have resolved our issue quicker and better than the six hour dance we had. But at the end of the day relieved that I was able to give the GMC Acadia back, I feel like the issues that were found by gm dealer should have been discovered during their 160 point inspection they advertise all their used cars go thru. But anyone reading this interested in 2007-2010 acadias I urge you to look at something else, after my experience I talked to many others who had acadias and they all had transmission and steering problems that got extremely costly. I will probably not ever consider a used car from them again but would consider them for a new Toyota.

I travel a lot so wanted to get my 2006 tundra fixed by a dealer so i wold be covered at any dealer. my transmission fluid leaked into radiator, tranny got water in it so they replaced and flshed radiator so never told me that water in tranny will ruin tranny so August had a tranny put in at Clarksville TN toyota dealer now I am in springfield MO, and there is tranny fluid in my radiator . I called Knoxville and they did get with Springfield( Freindly Toyota) and they want them to take out my radiator ship it back to Knoxville they will get a new one ship it back to Springfield dealer to put it in , and not give me a car rental i live alone i need a car and after reading all these reviews I am scarred to do anything with out getting a rental car because they could take a month to send back a radiator I will need that rental car Knoxville !! or I will be calling the better bushiness bureau befor anything is done

My wife was in a wreck in December. We went and got an estimate to have it fixed and booked a date for it to go in the shop in 6 weeks. When we took it to be repaired after the 6 week wait we found out they never booked the apointment or sent the paperwork to our insurance. They then made us wait a 7th week before takingbit to fix it. After having the car for a week on the 8th week insurance calls us to tell us the car is now totaled. We end up getti g forced into totaling it out after Toyota Knox tells us its pretty much scrap metal. We then settled with insurance for a check and started car shopping. We looked all over town but ended up finding a camry we really liked at Toyota Knox. We were hesitant to deal with them since we had already been screwed by the body shop but the camry was the car my wife wanted. We test drove it and bought it the next day. The night we bought it we were rushed through the paperwork and then offered a tour of the facilities. We took the tour and lo and behold there was my wifes totaled Rav4 in the body shop up on the lifts being fixed. Pretty obvious they had worked up the estimate to total it so they could repair it and pocket the cash. We kept our mouths shut through the tour. After the tour they pulled our new car around and informed us they were unable to find the second key for it. Q, the salesman told us he would find the second key or he would get one made for us. I should have gotten that in writing. Two weeks later I called Q to ask about the second key and he told me they couldn't find it and then imediately offered to sell me one. I was stunned. I called back the next day and asked to speak with the sales manager. I was transfered to his secretary and my info was taken and told I would get a call back. That was eight days ago and we still haven't heard anything. We paid $11,000 and still dont have a second key, the title, tags and cant get a phone call back from anyone. This has been the absolute worst customer experience I have ever encountered. EVER! DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!>>> DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS <<<

Andy Bolt and Alvaro are the only 2 people that were helpful. It has been a nightmare dealing with this dealership. Purchased a used vehicle 2004 GMC Yukon Denali on March 4, 2016. March 5th, 2016 check engine light comes on that night. Take car to Advance Auto on Sunday March 6th, 2016 and they hooked it up to scanner . The scanner read a transmission code. I took the car back to Toyota of Knoxville on Monday March 7th 2016 and this is where the BS begins, smh. I was sold a warranty when I purchased my vehicle. My warranty states that I have to take my car to back to dealer (which is Toyota of Knoxville ) if the dealer is within 60 miles of my residence. One of the guys in the shop told me it was nothing they could do and I had to take my car to Chevy dealer (car I purchased is a GMC). I told and should the guy what the warranty states. He still tried to tell me to take it to Chevrolet. After he made some calls, he told me it would be a 30 minutes to a hour before they could check my car. I dropped it off. Got a call from Toyota that it was the transmission and I need to take it to Chevrolet dealership. So I pick my car up. Next day take my car to Beatty Chevrolet and paid $115 for them to tell me the same thing Advance auto and Toyota of Knoxville told me. It's the transmission and the warranty that I was sold by Toyota of Knoxville said that I had to take the car to Aamco transmission because the transmission was replaced there 2 years ago. I go to Aamco transmission on Kingston pike and they tell me it's nothing they can do about that because the warranty for their work was for 1 year. I tell Toyota of Knoxville who sold me this lemonade lemon warranty what was going on. They told me they would look into it. Next they said bring it back to Toyota of Knoxville and they will get it taken care of and have it replaced. Took it to them on Thursday March 17th, 2016 and dropped it off. The next day I was told it had to be inspected by the warranty company and that could take up to 48hrs. I called and asked about a rental because the warranty has something in there about a rental if car is being repaired. Finally got a call that the warranty company is going to pay for new transmission. The new transmission will be here in up to 3 dayso and another 3-4 days for installation. They say I will have to pay $100 deductible. I feel Toyota of Knoxville should pay that or give me a rental for $115 that I spent at Beatty Chevrolet. That money could have been used for a rental or the deductible. I cant get any answers from anyone at Toyota of Knoxville. I have been trying to get a hold of anybody but i keep getting ignored. I have left emails and messages but nothing. They keep giving me the run around. I want answers. My wife and I work, kids have activities after school that they go to. It's hard trying to share a car. If I 2anted to be treated like cap I would've went to a buy here, pay here dealer. I just want a dependable car without issues. This shouldn't be happening and I haven't had the car for 3 weeks, shame on Toyota of Knoxville.Update 3/30/16Go a call on Saturday that my transmission came in but it was dented. Was told by service guy Drew that it would be another 4-6 days before another transmission will be here. Got a call on Tuesday that my car was ready. It's obvious that they put the dented transmission in my car. I pick car up and driving today the car has a stutter. I take it back and told them what was going on. They said they will test drive it to see. I waited over an hour. My car was in the same spot. I ask about my car and they finally send someone out to test drive it. They come back and said nothing was wrong. I told him to get in the car with me. He felt the stutter I was talking about. It was also a leak from under the car that he said was from when they topped off the fluids. It is still leaking every time I drive it. Smh, these guys are freaking terrible. This car is obviously a lemon. I want to know what can I do to get out of this deal/car? I haven't made the 1st car payment yet (not due until the 18th). This is crazy and has been very stressful.

I spoke to Deric on Monday, and agreed to come in on Friday to have my car appraised and look at a new vehicle, which I told him via email. Once I arrive at the dealership the first thing out of his mouth is "Are you hear for the old stick shift corolla with a high amount of miles for 1K?". That should have been an indication to just go ahead and leave. After my appraisal is done Deric comes back with a low blow number, so I told him thanks and have a good day. His response "So, are we done now?" my reply is yes, and that I would like my keys. So he gets them and comes back offering $2500 more then initially. I agree to fill out a credit application at this point, once finished he takes it drops it off somewhere and comes back and says ok. Pretty much telling me to leave and perhaps he'd call at some time in the near future. I wait around until Saturday afternoon to hear anything, after I had emailed him around ten. Once he finally answered me he said "oh it'll probably be Monday". Monday comes around and again no answer or any communication. He evidently neglected to remember that I had already had the money to purchase a new car but was hoping to finance so that I could build my credit either way I was buying a car. Apparently he didn't want to work with me which is fine, because the same Monday I drove to Cumberland Toyota and purchased the same brand new car I was planning to buy in Knoxville in less then two hours. So what one person isn't willing to do another person always will. The way I was treated really doesn't make good business. I came back yesterday to speak with a sales manager just to bring attention to the matter.

When our PRUIS was harmed by an untrained tow truck operator who didn't know how to jump start a hybrid, TOYOTA KNOXVILLE accepted the towed in car for immediate repairs. Their team diagnosed the problem immediately and had me back on the road before the afternoon was over. The professional care and courtesy extended was much appreciated after a frustrating complication following a simple jump start request to AAA. John Moore was the advisor who "held my hand" from the first phone call to the offer for a driver to pick me up. Finally, he gave me a full explanation of the problem, how it was solved and handed me over to the cashier for an efficient check out.

We took our new Lexus there for an oil and filter change. The work was finished quickly and they treated us like Royalty. There was a small grease smudge on the drivers door armrest and they cleaned it quickly and carefully when we pointed it out.

We have used this dealership for service since we bought our 2008 Prius and have always been very pleased with their kind, courteous, and responsive service. The waiting area is very pleasant and comfortable. We live about sixty miles away and they are always prompt and efficient in getting us in and out. When the car needed repair recently and snow was forecast for our area, they completed the repairs so that we could pick up the car before the storm. Mary was most helpful in explaining what needed to be done and helping us.

Next day he called to find out how "the first day" went indicating his availability at any time if I had questions or concerns. Although we used a competitor rental car, we were taken to the rental shop by Toyota. We were made to feel cared for. They made sure we were not hurt in the accident and were nothing but kind and helpful to us. Even one of the ladies in the snack bar helped keep me company during our wait. Knowing we were from Iowa, and would most likely not be doing further business with you, we could have been delayed and made to wait. But that is not what happened. If ever in the Knoxville area, I would not hesitate to do business with your dealership. Thank you so much for making our unpleasant detour, as pleasant as could be! It is good to know there are still many kind people in this world.

I have done business with Toyota Knoxville for quite a number of years now and they have always been honest with me. I have dealt with other automotive businesses in the past and learned a lot about gimmicks and rip-offs, such as unnecessary work being done. Toyota Knoxville has not been guilty of any of these practices. I will continue to do business with them because of this. If they ever change I will be the first to go elsewhere. But as long as they have the team they have today I don't foresee that happening. They are also very dedicated to ensuring that there are no problems with their service. If anything happens that a customer deems unsatisfactory, no matter how small, they go the extra distance to correct it. If I buy a new vehicle, I will deal with them for sure.

I scheduled a service on-line at Toyota Knoxville, was greeted right on time, was given a courtesy ride to work, notified promptly of the minor issue and associated cost, had my truck repaired and washed! After buying autos and having attempted additional purchases from this dealer I have concluded their business practices should be viewed as supporting the typical mistrust of used car dealers. Maximizing profit at the expense of the buyer seems to be the primary goal. TOK's reputation is well deserved and is broadly known throughout the community so talk to your friends before dealing with this conveniently located dealership.

I went there on sat. to have my oil changed. John Redding was the rep. we dealt with. He was very helpful. In addition to the oil being changed he informed me of a nail in one of the tires. Well I have been adding air in the tire for a while thought it the rim. Also had a issue with the window on drivers side. Well it came off track while I was there. John was so professional in the way he handled the situation for me. He explained to me what they would like to do, and then they corrected the issue.the last time I was at this dealership was over 5 years ago due to misunderstanding with my truck purchase. But I must say the way I was treated recently I would go back for any other issues I may have and I would recommend them to friends and to you. Thank you

I will never shop with them again. The saleslady was helpful and nice; easy to work with. The people involved in actually purchasing the car are extremely unpleasant and insulting. They do not stand behind their product either. They do not offer any buyer satisfaction return period (as competing dealerships do). I purchased a car from them and sought to return/exchange for another the day after (realizing the car was really too big for me). They sought to charge me again for all of the same fees, devalued the car I had just purchased by 30%, and insulted me in the process (stating one would have to be insane to try to trade in a car they just purchased).

Every step of the process was a no pressure, enjoyable experience. The best part of it was the amazing treatment I received from my Salesperson, Mr. Chris Nolan. As a former New Car dealership GM I was very pleasantly surprised by his outstanding performance from start to finish. Brought car in for one year warranty work. Crowded outside for check ins, but they worked through the lines very quickly. I expected that it would normally take a little over an hour to perform the service, but thought with all the cars scheduled, it would be a lot longer. Service was right on schedule - no delays - no excuses - just perfect and I was out in the expected time. The personal touch from Mr. Jon Mertz was terrific and couldn't have been more professional. He answered all my questions and was very courteous, helpful and even gave me complimentary car wash. Great dealership and would recommend them to all. I bought this truck there and will not use any other dealership. Worth the extra time and mileage to return to Toyota of Knoxville.

I have three Toyota 4Runners, all purchased from Toyota Knoxville. All the service work, including tire purchases, is handled through Toyota Knoxville because I trust them to provide excellent service and products at a fair price. I swapped vehicles with my wife one day this week so I could take hers in for a needed oil change (she has over 179,000 miles on the 2005 4Runner she is driving now). As it turned out, the rear brake pads were worn out and and needed replacing as well. But that's part of why I trust the service of my vehicles to them. They don't push un-needed work on you, and when they do find additional items that need attention, they look for service discounts that they can apply to the service work order to make it a little easier on your pocketbook. I'm on a first-name basis with most of the service advisers because I've been dealing with them for so long. It's nice to deal with people that know your name, too.

I'm 54 and retired due to diabetes, and have problems with my feet from time to time. I'm looking to trade my 2013 Veloster, and found a car I like on the Toyota Knoxville web site, so I went by to see it. But -- instead of being able to drive through and find the car, take a quick look, and decide if I was interested, I found myself forced to enter through the showroom, so I'm forced to interact with a sales person BEFORE I decide if I'm interested or not. I walked past the barrier and looked for the car. It had started to rain, so I have up and left and won't be back. They can do as they wish, but if u want to FORCE me to interact with a salesman, then u don't deserve my business. POOR BUSINESS DECISION, IN MY OPINION !!

I brought my truck with 47000 miles with check engine light on and it would not drive passed 40 mph. I was charged $116 for them reseting my computer and not fixing the issue. One day later I am 100 miles away from Knoxville at another dealership with the same issue. I gave the other dealership the paper work that toyota of knoxville gave me. The other dealership was shocked I was charged by toyota of knoxville for doing nothing but reseting the computer and not fixing the problem. I really advise people Not to go to Toyota Of Knoxville!!

Bought a brand new Prius a couple of weeks ago. Normally, I wouldn't have splurged on a new vehicle, and my wife and I were actually only looking for a slightly used model. But Toyota of Knoxville's Employee Pricing special plus their willingness to work with us allowed us to purchase a brand new vehicle for within the price range we'd have been willing to spend on a used vehicle! Harley Palmer was a tremendous salesman--he was great about listening to us and helping us to find a vehicle that fit our needs, and was never pushy or insistent. He did a great job from the moment we set foot on the lot of making sure we were well-informed about everything we were looking at and kept in touch to let us know about special offers--that's how we heard about the special pricing deal we took advantage of. The facilities at Toyota of Knoxville are tremendous, and everyone we spoke to there was friendly and helpful. I frankly HATE shopping for cars, but I could not have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable experience.

Overall good experience from scheduling through pick up. I was in and out in 10 minutes both for drop off and pick up. The auto butler service is first rate. Have been a customer since 2005 purchasing 3 vehicles and not once have had an issue.

I drove a used vehicle and the top latches needed adjusting (it was a Jeep). They took the vehicle to their service dept and were suppose to call me when it was finished. I waited a couple of days and never received a call back. I followed up and they had actually sold the vehicle. I don't have a problem with the fact that they sold it, however the communication piece of this occurrence is severely lacking in my opinion. The person I spoke with when I called to check was very nice and it obviously was not her fault some salesman had been negligent in communicating to me. Nevertheless, if Toyota Knoxville had 10 of the perfect vehicles I was looking for I would not purchase from them for this sheer fact.

Bought used 2012 Highlander at another non Toyota dealer and took the car to Knox Toyota for service and moon roof repair. First experience with them. Could not have been better. From check in to completion very professional. Time quotes accurate and facility is superb. Definitely going back. I'm 70 yrs old and this is only the second dealer I would recommend for service.

I spent a couple hours going back and forth with them on the phone to buy a $22k used car. We came to agreement on the price and everything else with the involvement of their sales manager and I gave them a credit card deposit. During the negotiation he tried to pressure me to conclude a deal on their terms by claiming that someone else was test driving the car as we were speaking. After we wrapped up the deal, the sales person promised to send me the sales contract shortly. I called a few hours later to see where the paperwork was, and he told me they had been swamped but would definitely get it to me before they closed. He called back a couple hours later right after closing time saying that unfortunately he forgot to put the sold tag on the car and it had been sold to the other people that were test driving it earlier as if I was an idiot. He claimed that this had never happened to him before. I thought a Toyota dealership would be above these types of sleazy sales tactics but not Knoxville Toyota. Read the reviews on here carefully, and don't dismiss all the negative ones. My sales contact was Mark Hess - he is an accomplished liar.

After having a vehicle I loved totaled, It was hard trying to find something I really liked. We went to several dealerships before going to Toyota of Knoxville. Walking in the door was the beginning of our wonderful experience. We were greeted by Kevin Page. We told him a little bit of what we were looking for and believe it or not he drove that vehicle right to the front door for us. That was it for me. Kevin was kind, patient and very attentive. Exactly what I needed after my car accident. Kevin was honest and not at all pushy. I would recommend Kevin Page and Toyota of Knoxville in a heart beat.

I purchased my 2006 Prius from this dealer in January 2006. They have done all of my service over the last nine years, with reasonable cost for excellent work. For the 90000 mile service, I expected a fairly large cost since this one is considered somewhat major. However, my cost was only about $26. Even though I provided my own synthetic oil, air filter, and cabin air filter, I expected to be charged at least $100 or more. Thus, I will always look at Toyota Knoxville for future purchases and service!

I found the Dodge Charger I had been waiting for advertised on Cars.com. I emailed Toyota of Knoxville the next morning. By lunch they had called me to see if they could help get me in my dream car. I got up there at 3:30 by 5:30 I was leaving in my new to me car. While waiting I explored the absolute nicest and cleanest dealership I have ever seen. Everyone was curtious as well. I only open 1 door for myself while there and that was the restroom. Recommended!

I had an excellent experience here! I had seen bad reviews so wasn't expecting much. It was very organized, clean and superior customer service. I went in for a 10,000 mile basic service and first was greeted and directed exactly where to go. Then Daniel was very friendly and respectful. Waiting area was nice with fresh coffee and other refreshments for sale. Free wifi and a place to charge my phone! Clean restrooms!

I gave them a take- it- or- leave- it offer and, knowing my experience with other dealers in the past, I expected them to haggle me to death but, by gum, that didn't happen, nor did they try to add doc fees or anything else to my offer. If I were buying a Toyota in Knoxville today, they would be at the top of my list of dealers to visit.

I recently had to spend some time with my husband at the hospital and during that time, my 2-year full service on my Scion IQ expired (although I was still under the mileage limit). Upon calling and explaining my situation, the service department at Toyota of Knoxville honored my last service and allowed me to come in a couple of weeks beyond my anniversary date, for the last free service. I must say, I had a much less than pleasant experience with Toyota of Knoxville over 10 years ago --- but, my how things have changed! From the buying experience through the first full two years of service, I couldn't be happier with both the car and the dealership! Kudos to you!!

He was not pushy and seemed very knowledgeable about the cars they had available! When it came to getting my car financed I felt that Allan went above and beyond to help me out when the task given to him was not very easy! Allan Driggers had to go beyond what a normal sells person would do In order to finalize my car loan! I would highly recommend these two to anyone and everyone I know buying a car! If it was up to me both would be receiving raises for their generosity and professionalism!

We bought a new 2013 Avalon six (6) months ago and the salesman and admin staff were all very courteous, friendly, and helpful. I just brought it in for a 6 month/5000 mile maintenance check and encountered the same courteous, friendly, helpful atmosphere. The waiting area was the best I have ever seen at any car dealer anywhere. It was very clean and comfortable. The snack bar/meal counter was very tempting with all sorts of sandwiches, sweet treats, etc. The complimentary cup of coffee was very good and a nice touch.

There was no pressure to purchase the vehicle. We were given plenty of time to think about the negotiated pricing. My over all review of buying a new car. There are workers that open the door for you, There are three salespersons that meet you inside the door and are ready to help with what ever you need or want. they are ready to inform you about the vans or cars . then they ask what car or van you want to look at then they take you out in the car or whatever for a test drive. they answer all your questions. When we had our arm rest put on the road the dealer ship is on is very dangerous. My husband and I are on canes. We were going to walk back across that road. The lady in the office said we do not let our customers walk back go back in your car and get a person in the dealer ship to bring you car for you. I thought that was every nice.

Buyer BEWARE. As a local Knoxville, Tennessee Business manager I came in with reasonable expectations on fair purchase price for buying a new Toyota Tundra. Management and Sales Tactics are incredibly deceptive and sales representatives will lie to make a sale. I lost all faith when management agreed to a sales price and then the sales representative deceptively misrepresented a mutually agreed upon management sales price by hiding details in the estimate line item. Sales representative was bragging to me about how many cars he had sold throughout the course of the day. Ultimately I ended up walking out on a deal over $500.00 simply because I did not trust them. I will never even consider doing business with this dealership due to unethical business practices and encourage all to consider any other viable East Tennessee Toyota dealerships; any of which would be better than Knoxville Toyota regardless of sales price.

This is the 2nd car I purchased from this dealership. I got a 2012 Toyota Corolla LE with only 25k miles on it. Came with a lifetime drive train warranty and I was able to reset the 35k/3 year manufacturer warranty. Final price was $16,000.00. The dealership is awesome. Great people and great service. I will go to them everytime I need a car. I will not go anywhere else.

George was great to work with. I spent (maybe) 2 hours in the dealership and walked away with a great new car (2014 RAV4) at a great price.

Purchase of new vehicle was okay. Salesman was not very knowledgable about vehicles. He had his features on vehicles totally wrong. After looking at so many cars, we got a little confused as to which had what. He told us wrong. All was fixed in the end to be fine. Now, we took the vehicle back for the first free service. 1.5 hours to rotate the tires and check fluids!!!!???? With a scheduled appointment? The last car I had taken in it took 20 minutes, and they apologized for the wait! We were told that Monday appointments don't tend to run on time. If cars coming in from trouble over the weekend is that much of a problem, maybe you should stop making appointments for regular service on Mondays. Poor management. No apology given; just a snotty attitude that I shouldn't expect so much. No free drink offered this time either, come to think of it.

Buyer Beware: Like many people in this post, I thought I had made a wise purchase with Toyota of Knoxville, I even bought their recommended Lifetime Warranty to secure my purchase of my Toyota Tundra. Unfortunately the first time I tried to use my warranty to cover a faulty wheel bearing (which is blogged about all over the internet as a bad quality part), Toyota told me the warranty company refused my warranty due to the fact that I hadn't changed the air cabin filter. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, what does the cabin air filter have to do with a poorly manufactured wheel bearing, absolutely nothing!!! the warranty hides from the buyer the clause, "All service most be performed IAW with the user manual or the warranty is void" as a way to get out of paying for repairs. What's worse, I brought my car to the Knoxville service department for every service. Never had they told me that if I didn't have them replace the air filter it would void my warranty.. This dealer followed unscrupulous practices by pushing these worthless warranties and continues to sell the same product through the same company!!!! I purchased a Toyota Avalon from Fox Toyota in Clinton and found them to be infinitely more trustworthy and had less hidden charges (doc fees, etc) STAY AWAY FROM TOYOTA KNOXVILLE

I had been looking at trading my 2006 Eclipse GT for about 6 months. Overall I visited about 10 dealerships test driving FJ Cruisers, Jeeps, and other 4x4 off roading vehicles. My experience at many other dealerships, with Secret City Dodge Chrysler Jeep being the absolute worst, were not only good they were high stress environments. In addition, these dealerships didn't seem to really care whether I was happy as they only wanted to sell me a car. Toyota of Knoxville went above and beyond, treating me with respect and ensured I was satisfied before signing a deal. They even offered to let me add aftermarket parts to my FJ Cruiser and just add it to the loan. I've owned my FJ for almost 2 months now and they have followed up with me several times since driving off the lot to see I was satisfied with my purchase. If you are looking for a dealership that is going to value you as a customer, go down and check out their inventory. Great work all around!

Wednesday May 28,2014 purchased a truck not on the lot.They where to locate it on Wednesday and retrieve it on Thursday and get me the truck no later than Friday.Unable to locate a truck ,they required me to pay my down payment which was five thousand deposite before they would go get the truck on May 28,2014 the check was cashed May 29,2014 and cleared on May 30,2014 I do have the proof it cleared. On Thursday the 29th, they couldn't locate a truck. Now it will be June 2,2014 on Monday .When Monday June 2 came still could not supply a truck.On Tuesday made a vist to dealership still trying to locate truck at this point ,sales manager Todd Weber & Sales Operations Manager Gene Morris after two hrs waiting they think they had one in ky,had to work out details they advised me ,I was told this more than one time ,by this time I just wanted to get my money back to go elsewhere Per Gene Moris I cannot get money for 10 days ,I called Corprate office they gave me case number told me to call the dealer ship HR Carl Hurst after I went down to see him ,his answer was I will get my check in ten days ,I again said I have proof the check has cleared ,he threatened he would have a lawyer call me because of what I was wearing (a sign) .I am a 68 year old woman that was treated bad bad bad .Treated good at the time of sale .

I bought a gently used 2006 Lexus here about 8 months ago; salesman was extremely helpful and professional; he was not at all "pushy" as some experiences I've had in the past. Since my purchase, I've been in for regular maintenance and have had minimal waits accompanied by good service. I highly recommend Toyota Knoxville.

My husband and I own three cars that we bought from TOK. My only gripe with them is that they need some sort of true customer loyalty program, for service AND for sales. There are other area dealerships that don't have some of the same charges . . . We are in the market for a new truck and when I go back to TOK, I will certainly ask for some sort of discount based on our loyalty to the dealership.

I am a repeat buyer at this locale. after spending a couple of hours with a salesman I was told that I would be called the next day with the decision of the loan application for a new Scion sportscar. I received absolutely no calls and called 4 times myself with only being able to reach voicemail. Nobody called me. I never found out whether the loan went through or not. Is is not customary to inform the customer of the decision to sell a car with the applicable loan? Is it too much to ask to be informed whether the news be negative or positive? As for myself, I will not ever use this dealer again (I did buy twice before right here). This was the absolutely poorest experience I have had. I will definitely be against recommending this dealer as a good source of the car buying experience. During the waiting period (waiting for the phone to ring) I was offered to drive several cars at a Chrysler dealer and actually made a purchase for a new car the very same day. Renate C Cawthern

Do not buy from Toyota of Knoxville or bring you vehicle in to their service department. I bought a 2012 Tacoma 2 months ago from them and have had nothing but problems from day 1. Their service department ordered a part to fix it, which took over a month for the part to arrive. Then they call and say it is fixed. As soon as I leave, I notice that the problem is exactly the same as it was before I brought it in. After 3 more trips to service, they say they problem is no a "normal characteristic of a Tacoma." So I contacted Toyota customer service because the sales department never would call me back. I finally got through and went to see about trading my truck back in because of all of the trouble I have had. They offered me $4000 less than what I paid just over a month ago.

Before you go here make sure you check their prices online. The first time I went to look at their used vehicle selection I found a Rogue that I was interested in. I ended up leaving that afternoon (thank goodness) because I felt like they were trying to rip me off. Later that night I went online and looked at the same Rogue on their lot only to find that the asking price online was $2,000 less than what the sticker said on the car at the lot. The next day I went back and they had no good response for the fact that they were trying to charge me more than their online price the previous day. I ended up purchasing the Rogue for the price it was listed for online but I don't recommend going here if you're looking for a good deal. I felt pressured the entire time I was there to hurry up and spend more, and the salesmen aren't knowledgable about anything (vehicles, serving requirements, financing, etc.). Then a day after I brought my car home I noticed the Sunroof was whistling, so I called my salesman, Eric, up and he advised me to bring it into their service shop and they'd take a look at it for me at no charge. So I rush to get there after work before they close, only to have them tell me for them to just look at it will cost me $111 and that I had to take it to a Nissan dealer or pay for them to fix it. If I had it to do over, I would not go to them and I don't plan to ever do business here again.

Stay FAR AWAY from this dealer, misleading, flat out lied about the car, and rude. COVERED UP DISABLED CEL!! Bought a used VW jetta from here a while back and everything seemed to be fine and was a good price. They sent me the tag from knoxville and I live in Chattanooga so i just drove it on that tag until i renewed it a year later. Ran it through emission and found out it had multiple codes for emissions, misfires, and other things. They also ripper out the CEL led!!!! Would have cost me almost 1k to get a new cluster and get it synced with the dealer... That wasnt even fixing any of the emissions related things like misfires and a new catalytic converter... Called them up and they laughed at me told me basically tough luck. Threatened legal action and they literally told me, "good luck with that!" Traded it in on a new civic lease and paid the difference in trade in value and loan balance and just took the hit.

I wish I could write a good review for this dealership because buying a new car for the first time should be an exciting and fun experience. Unfortunately Toyota Knoxville was able to ruin it. They took forever to send out simple paperwork and then finally after numerous calls and a physical visit to the dealership they were able to send the paperwork but to the wrong address. I have gone from expecting to pick up my car after waiting just a week to waiting two more weeks after that. That doesn't sound long but when a simple task such as sending simple paperwork gets messed up and ignored even after multiple phone calls is unacceptable. I do think the employees there were friendly and easy to work with but I would rather do business with a jerk who can get the job done than friendly people who can't. Won't be going back.

Dishonest sale practices and misrepresentation of products and service I purchased a 2002 F250 on 11-14-2013 from Toyota of Knoxville and was told verbally and in writing the vehicle had a 160 point quality assurance inspection and if it didnt pass their inspection and was in need of repairs it would not be placed on their lot for sale but instead would be sent to the auction. No more than 3 hours after leaving their dealership I noticed several items on the truck not functioning properly. At that time I placed a call to the dealership and informed them of the items not working properly, and asked if I brought the truck back if they could take a look at repairing the items. They told me there was nothing they could do for me, I then told them that I wanted to cancel the deal and requested a refund, again they told me that wasnt possible and there was nothing they could do for me. I have made numerous attempts to speak to the general manger but he ignores my messages. I did speak to the used car manger and requested a copy of their 160 point check list, he never got back to me and I made several attempts to obtain that report from him, but he kept giving me excuses as to why he couldnt provide it to me. Although he did tell me the sales manger did authorize a 200.00 refund to help with the repairs which I never received. I was able to obtain a copy of the check list and service report performed on the truck by calling their service department myself. In the report it shows the exact same mechanical issues that I am having problems with. Apparently they didnt fix the items as stated and just placed the vehicle on their lot anyway despite their 160 point policy and promise to it's customers.

Have been having issues with electronic start and keyless entry. Won't work half the time. Changed battery in key fob. Left car last night. Received a call at 9:30 this morning saying they couldn't find anything wrong with it. Told them to check again because there most definitely was something wrong with it, and it didn't do it all the time. Because they couldn't replicate it, they couldn't fix it. I received this nice little smart.........note with my bill........ "Called cust 9:30 am 11/30/13, Saturday. Cust didn't want to hear NPF,(no problem found) told us to find the short circuit. Started vehicle 5 times, locked and unlocked doors, times documented on hard copy. This service advisor could not duplicate this concern either." So, I guess I'm stupid???? I guess I enjoy dropping off my car at the dealership for no reason. And, since they told me at 9:30 my car was ready, they never followed up after I told them to check it again.

Toyota of Knoxville was my choice for a major car repair following an accident. They repeatedly change the estimated date of completion and returned the car with only a portion of the repairs done. When I returned to request they complete the repairs, I was told there was nothing wrong with the car because they could not find any error codes. However, approximately half of my concerns would not have caused error codes, such as the door not being attached properly. They did fix the door after I became angry, but did not make any other changes to the vehicle. It is having problems with the brakes, acceleration, tire pressure, etc, and I purchased it brand new at the end of the 2012 season!

As a previous reviewer stated how can these guys sleep at night! At deal negotiation two car fax sheets for two autos were produced with one having two buyers in the last year. Jack stated this was a mistake. After talking to the "manager" the other car fax was another mistake with the wrong VIN number and yet a higher price after my initial offer. The first price was 22K and Jack stated 19K-20K would be a good meeting ground (I offered $18,750 but no counter was given), but with the new "correct" VIN number the price was 24K. (The price listed on the web site was 22,700). His sales "manager" Jim Glenn who is listed in the web directory as a sales consultant was supposed to be there as a mandatory activity for Jack but was there to just massage the deal. (This morning I again received an email from Jim even after telling Jack no emails should be forthcoming.) All this bait and switch style of producing enough bad info to attempt to pressure or try to confuse someone is unethical and should not be present in the sales industry. I realize it predominates but why? The ill will created may produce short-term benefits but in the long term will only result in losses. I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership. Previously I purchased two SUVs with one purchase going relatively smoothly and the other another "got ya" deal with extras added. (Jack had stated that labels were to be placed on all parts and he was unsure if this labeling could not be included in the final price.) Again why not set a fair price, make the deal, and gain good will and referrals rather than trying to cheat customers?? Do not use this dealership!!!

Bought 2009 Rav4 new. Salesman was no problem. Problem is Service Dept and Service Manager and Customer Relations Manger (if u can call him that) and owner of Toyota Knoxville, and his secretary. Have done all service with them for past 4 years. Discovered my tires were bad after 14 months less than 30000 miles bought tires at another business tried to purchase from Toyota but they ordered wrong tires twice. Took papers that Toyota did service turned out they didn't rotate on the last service that I paid for and they stated they rotated . Also they have regularly over inflated tires each service and stated it on the paper as well. Door sticker has recommended pressure as set by Toyota but they disreguard this and tell you they do it their way. Long story short this action by Toyota voided my warrenty for tires so I asked that they replace them again its all stated on the Toyota service invoice that they did not do what was stated. Service manager says on the whim that they may be wrong Ill buy 1 tire u buy 1 tire bottom line that is fair mind u all 4 tires are bad and no longer warrentied and im supposed to like this offer. I asked to speak to owner they told me he was in his office waited no show he had called same sales manager to tell me this is the only person who I could deal with, asked again to speak to him only needed less than 5 minutes he then sends secretary to tell me they are being more than fair and at a GREAT EXPENSE TO TOYATA OF KNOXVILLE they have paid for 1 tire! She says Im angry and just cant be made happy better take the deal or loose it! Asked why owner couldn't see me or call me I was willing to wait or come back she said he didn't want to disappoint others who were waiting on him! Guess I didn't matter. Tried to explain a teachers budget didn't allow me the benefit of buying new tires YEARLY plus proof by your signed service tech you failed me and did not do what you stated. She then tells me we all have to budget I explained I budgeted already. Called Toyota USA file complaint they said customer service manager would call within 3 days next day same service manager calls NOT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE mind you says case closed get over it NOTHING ELSE TO BE DONE. Called Toyota USA BACK they got customer relations on the line from Toyota of Knoxville he informs me we WILL NOT HAVE THIS CONVERSATION HE DOES NOT HAVE TO CALL ME BACK WAS MAD THAT I CALLED TOYOTA USA SAID I WAS TREATED FAIR. I have bought two cars from here in the last year with no complaints until my seatbelt stopped working, this is no big deal until I was told the warranty I purchased doesnt cover it. At the time I bought the warranty I was told "It covers every thing except tires and brakes, because that is normal wear and tear". After talking to the service adviser about this, she took it to sales dept. they said they were not willing to help in any way. After buying two cars from them you would think they would take better care of a repeat costumer by staying true to their word instead of saving $336. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I was comparing trucks online and ran across Toyota of Knoxville. They do have nice trucks! When I closed the page to exit back to the Dodge page, it offered me a $25 walmart gift card to come in and test drive a truck. Who would pass up a gift card when you're looking to buy anyways? Right.... So we go in and met with Alan the salesman and he showed me 2 trucks. I fell in love with them both. So i asked him if he could get me pricing for the changes to the truck I was wanting. He calls me a week later and didnt have the prices for the changes. I asked him about the gift card and he blamed the delay on the company book keeping department. He tells me before he hangs up the phone that he would call me back that friday with the prices. Well friday has come and gone by 3 weeks. I still have no price on the changes on the Toyota Tundra Platinum and still have no gift card. Needless to say this Dodge-Girl is sticking with DODGE! This Dodge-Girl just bought a new Dodge Ram 2500 and will never stray away again!! Toyota of Knoxville is a waste of time and they really do not care about the customer.

I bought a new Tundra here and had a good experience overall. I asked for changes to the vehicle and they accommodated all my requests quickly. I asked for different tires, remote start, window tint and a sunroof deflector and they made sure it got done. I paid more for those things but didn't feel like they were overcharging me. Customer service was exceptional. I'm very surprised to read the negative reviews on this site, doesn't sound like anything I experienced.

They gave me $17,000 on a truck worth $24,000. they told me my truck was worth $20,000 its on their lot for $27,800 (its the red 2010 dodge ram) then they charged me extra fees i was told were "free" i shook hands with mike gibson on $445 a month then he came back with $500 because they made a "mistake" all in all im paying $42,000 for a car worth $26,000 and toyota is making over $20,000 on my deal alone, now tell me how they can sleep at night knowing theyre screwing ppl like that. i guess thats how they afford the big new buildings they have.

Not only did they take forever the manager made racist comments. I highly recommend going to a different dealer. Toyota knoxville is the worst dealer this side of the Mississippi.. The salesman are very shady and will do anything to make more money off of you. The managers are very rude. Horrible place of business.

They refused to return my trade in, and still haven't got it back. They came to my house and took the car I bought from them. Last week got the payment books in the mail for new car too, so another lie caught them in.

My wife and I were looking for something sporty and good on gas mileage, with enough room for the kids. Victor was awesome, he was very helpful without being to intrusive or pushy. He allowed us to look on our own but was always available to show us any car we wanted to look at. He showed us the cars we wanted to see and didn't push his own agenda. Victor was working on his day off and was only supposed work a short time that day. We decided to check on a Scion TC Release Edition 8.0 and left Victor to work out the preliminary details while we went on to rival dealerships to look at the other cars we were interested in. Victor worked out all of the financial details and gave us a call to let us know the results. After looking for hours at other dealer from other car companies, we decide the Scion was our choice. We returned to Toyota of Knoxville and again Victor was there waiting for us. He worked for us all day to get the deal completed. We ended up finishing the final details an hour after the dealership closed and Victor had the car detailed, walked us out and handed us the keys to our new car with a big smile on his face. He was truly happy for us and that meant something to us.Victor, thank you for everything!

Justin Tidwell was fantastic!! I had previously purchased a vehicle from East TN Nissan in Morristown a dealership that has permenantly lost my business (don't waste your time)! Anyway, Justin did everything he could to ensure my deal was what I needed without any hassles or running around. I was nervous about being in another dealership after all of the trouble experienced with ETN but I will certainly purchase another vehicle from Justin preferably when the time comes. Justin and Toyota Knoxville has restored my faith. My mother is already checking into purchasing a vehicle from him! Toyota of Knoxville is a wonderful dealership with fast and friendly service. Excellent experience buying a 2010 Rav4 from Darrell. He went the extra mile to see that I got the best price possible. I tried to deal with another Toyota dealer and all they did was waste my time and gave me a phony run-around about invoice price! Darrell called me on several occasions for close to a year after the sale to make sure I continued to be satisfied with my purchase. Chris Nunley is excellent as a service adviser, taking care of my service needs. My Toyota came with maintenance for two years and every visit has been pleasant, efficient and well-handled. I had a dead battery on a holiday weekend and Toyota sent out a truck to start the vehicle with no hassle. Then on a follow-on visit the entire electrical system was checked and the battery replaced. My last oil change I wanted to switch to synthetic oil and Toyota took care of it for me. My wife's 2000 Acura is about to lose it's THIRD transmission at only 150K so we are looking at Toyota's. My previous Camry went for 220K without any major problems, just brakes and mufflers and tires! Honda's customer service on a warranty replacement for the transmission was miserable. The transmission defect is common among several Honda lines including the Acura. They wanted to "negotiate" the replacement of their faulty parts!

I bought a used jeep from toyota of knoxville a couple of weeks ago. After having it for a few days i realized that it had locking lugs on it but there was no key with the car. We call the dealership and made an appointment with them to have them removed after being told they could by several employees. After setting for nearly two hours we were told they couldn't but then told us they could once again but they would have to cut them off but we would be charged over 300 dollars to have this done.So upon checking my car i found one of my rims to be gouged and one of the locking lugs damaged so badly that if i do get the right key it will have to be ground down. I called the dealership and talk to eddie in the service department where he told me that there would be more gouges in my rims and they wouldn't do anything about and once again being handed off to someone else i was told they would fix it but when i went up there to talk to the who was person suppose to fix the problem to wasn't available.

I took my 2011 Toyota Camry Hybrid to this dealership for service because paint was pealing on the rear wheel well on the driver's side. I took serveral phone calls just to find out what I needed to do to get the car looked at. When I took the car in and told Mack about the paint peeling, before even looking at it he said it was caused by rocks. I advised that I traveled on paved roads and did not think that rocks should cause the paint to peal. After looking at it he repeated the same thing which I again did not agree with, the car had 10,000 miles on it. He asked if it was happening to other side. When he looked at the other side and ran his finger along the wheel well the a strip of paint peeled off. He again stated that it was caused by rocks or I had run over a curb. I did not agree and he said he would have to contact Toyota but they would not fix it. He was suppose to call me within a week, he did not. When I called him he said that he had not heard fronm Toyota and would call me when he did. I called a couple of more times but have not ever received an answer from him or Toyota.

My wife and I stopped into Toyota Knoxville to learn more about the Toyota vehicle line. We were met at the front door by Bill Giannaris. We explained that we were checking out the Toyota line as we were looking for a vehicle to replace our older minivan. Bill gave us an overview of their line and took us onto the lot to show us the vehicle differences and points that we were interested in. We took several test drives and determined what vehlcle model would work for us. Subsequently we located a vehlcle that met the needs we were looking for and it had a special pricing offer. We did the price negoiation and reached an agreement on purchase price. Since we did not have our checkbook with us, we took posession the next day.Pre-SaleBill greeted us pleasantly and courteously determined what we were looking for. He showed us a number of vehlcles as we drilled down to some that met our criteria. He gave us useful information in our decision making process. He was relaxed and did not rush or steer us to a particular vehlcle, we choose the vehicle. His answers to our questions were honest and well explained. If he did not know an answer he stated so but did check with others at the dealership to find an answer. During the negotiation process he was thorough and efficient. As we went through the process he introduced us to other employees that did make the approvals and prepared the necessary paperwork. Post-SaleSince the deal was closed Bill has been in contact with us to check that we were satisfied with our purchase. When we picked up the vehicle, the dealership was not able to locate the 2nd key fob. After we left the dealership he checked a number of possible places for the fob and when he could not locate it he arranged for a replacement to be ordered. He has kept us posted on the status of the order either by voice or e-mail and assured us that the part would be in our hands as soon as possible. At this point, I can say that our experience at Toyota Knoxville has been a very positive one, primarily because of Bill Giannaris and way he treated us as customers and others that we observed him to deal with at the several hours we were at the dealership. Bill is friendly, courteous, personalbe and professional. He is an excellent representative for Toyota Knoxville and Toyota. We have already recommended him to some of our friends that are planning on purchasing a vehicle in the near future. I can truthfully say that this has been the best car buying experience I have had in past 52 years.

Bill is so friendly and easy to talk to it seemed like I have known him for a long time and this was the first time I can remember laughing while car shopping. I usually hate car salesman they always seem so pushy but with Bill it felt like he was on my side and we're against the finance guy trying to get me the car I wanted for the price I was willing to pay. Send a Thanks to Bill I will mention his name to anyone that is looking to buy a car!

Bill was very professional even when I was asking for things he didn't originally understand that way. I also barganed with him several times and he always treated me with respect and acted as if he really cared. The night I picked up the car, the entire management team worked with me very professionally even though it was after hours. Very good dealership so far....thanks

Purchased an FJ from them earlier this year - have had to replace the windshield 3 times - 2 times with suspect flaws in the glass, as there was no history of trauma, and the cracks occured in the exact same place. Only solution offered was to purchase a new vehicle in case there was a defect in our vehicle. So, pay twice for the same vehicle, with no guarantee that the windshield issues won't continue? No thanks. Trying to find a Honda element now.

The people especially Bill Giannaris at Toyota Knoxville was very friendly. We never felt pressure to buy a vehicle. We knew what we wanted when we went there. Mr. Giannaris showed us every Highlander that they had in stock and was very informative. We would recommend Toyota Knoxville and Bill Giannaris to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle.

My old Camery was in total loss after an accident so I plan to obtain a new one. After negoation with one sale man we finally confirm a price (~$22900 after $500 rebate because I will do finanice with them). When I was there to discuss the detail, the sale man told I am not qualified for 0% APR because $500 rebate). I think it doesn't make any sense because this $500 is incentive from toyota and it is compatible with 0% rate.(Actually they have this adverstised on their own website). Thus I insisted that.The sale man then talked to the manager. After a few minutes, a man showed up and throwed a piece of paper in front of me: "this is the invoice for this car. I don't know where you get $22900 number, this is just a mistake......do you buy or not?" I can't remember the exact words he said but that was basic meaning. I was shocked at that moment.He was so rude and unfriendly. I can't believe that he just simply denied the negoation offer ( I believed when sales man have an offer to customer he should get approved from manager, right). I didn't feel comfortable to deal with that person and Ijust leave. I checked online later and found that rude guy is a manager. I am very surprised because a manager should be more professional than that guy was.

Rick was very nice and helpful. He went far and above to answer every question or concern we had no matter how large or small it was. He even laughed at my husbands bad jokes. Very good salesman.

I was very pleased with my experience at Toyota Knoxville. My salesman was professional and courteous. I have bought 3 cars from Toyota Knoxville within the past couple if years and would never go anywhere else! Chuck Jones was great! Thanks Chuck! I have also visited the service dept, they are professional and knowledgeable snd easy to get your car in and out. Rental, accessories, and body shop are all outstanding.

I was very happy with my experience at Toyota Knoxville and I HIGHLY recommend working with sales associate John McCarthy. My last car was a 2000 Toyota Celica and it remained in great condition for 11 years. I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle when I was hit by another driver and the Celica totaled. Having little to no knowledge of cars I pretty much had a crash course in buying a new one. I talked to friends, did research on the internet and went to several dealerships in the area. I can honestly say the research I found and the experience I had at Toyota Knoxville was above and beyond any of the others. Everyone I dealt with was polite and I never felt pressured or intimidated. Some of the other dealerships had that sleazy used car salesman feel, one even made stereotypical remarks about me being a female driver! I never felt that way at Toyota, especially working with John. I really cant say enough good things about my experience with him. He is polite, straight forward and really went the extra mile to make sure I was happy with my purchase.Another review mentioned that Toyota wont come down from sticker price and I will admit getting them to budge too much can take some effort (as with most dealerships) but just do your research and be prepared, John will do everything he can to work with you. I am thrilled with my RAV4 and I will definitely buy cars from Toyota Knoxville and John in the future!

I have been to this dealership twice for two different car purchases and once more to try and trade down, which didn't work out. The first time I went to TK was when I bought a Corolla in 2005, and my experience was pretty decent. I got an OK deal, but I think I could have done better elsewhere. I don't think Toyota Knoxville moves very much on price ever. The second time I was there was to purchase a 2010 Prius in September of 2010. I was actually there to purchase something around $15,000, and Jennifer was the person who worked with me that time. She ended up getting me in the Prius, which I was never really happy with after the first two months, for about $24K, and that was way above my budget. Needless to say, I ended up trading the Prius in elsewhere for something cheaper because I could no longer afford the payments. Jennifer was really nice, but I didn't appreciate her pushing me into a more expensive vehicle knowing that I didn't want one to begin with. I feel like the staff at Toyota Knoxville is very pushy when dealing, and they do not move very much on price at all...no matter how many times I left and came back, they never bothered to work on improving their prices. Now that I've decided to go a different route with my car brand, I realize Toyota is not the best vehicle out there anymore. Yes, I went to Honda, and I love my car now. It's smoother and has better suspension and handling than any Toyota I've driven, and my whole family has Toys...none of their cars feel quite as smooth or agile as my Honda. Oddly enough, I went to Honda because I tested one off the Toyota Knoxville lot and loved it. Sorry, Toyota, but ya lost me. Oh, and I ended up getting more money from Airport Honda on my Toyota trade down than Toyota Knoxville was willing to offer. I do have to say that the service department at TK is pretty good, I can't discount their maintenance and service, but some of the sales staff needs work on presenting deals and listening to the needs of their customers.

We had a good experienced with our time at Knoxville Toyota. They worked with us on negotiating a price that we were able to afford. They also worked with us on a workable deal with our trade-in. We never felt pressured and always felt they were friendly and willing to do whatever it took took to get us in the new car.Thank you

First let me say that this is the first "new" car I have ever owned. Needless to say I was nervous. The day I arrived it was barely raining, and soon it started snowing. Corbin, and every at Toyota of Knoxville were very friendly and put me at ease. Since I had driven a 2010 Yaris already I had fallen in love with the car and knew what I wanted.Everyone took the time to explain every line and letter, and to answer any questions I had. I was made to feel very much at home.One thing that impressed me greatly was the inspection before I left with my new car. The sales manager came to the indoor area where they had brought my car and with her we went over every inch to make sure the car was perfect. Since it was snowing and had already laid about 3 inches or more on the ground, they asked me if I wanted them to hold off on a full detail. I agreed and we found that there was a small scratch on the left rear door handle, she made a note and said when I brought it in for my detailing they would take care of it. Several people from Corbin who was great, to he Sale Manager and others have called many times to make sure that I am enjoying my Toyota, and believe me when I say I am! It is a great little car, my gas mileage is almost 44 MPG on the highway and I love it!I will definitely make Toyota of Knoxville my new car home from now on, and we are already a two Yaris family!

Our experience with Toyota of Knoxville could not have been better. I made contact through email initially to get the ball rolling. Showed up with my research and knowing around what I wanted to pay for a vehicle. Alex was very helpful finding us one that fit our needs on the lot. We did a test drive then started to talk numbers. Very low pressure experience and I felt very comfortable that we were doing business with a good sales team and dealership that wanted to get my wife and I in a car we wanted at a price that was excellent. No other dealership within 200 miles could offer the convenience along with price that Toyota of Knoxville could. Great experience and look forward to using them for our future Toyota needs.

This is my second experience purchasing a Toyota. Toyota Knoxville was a joy to work with! They were honest, polite, and extremely helpful. Scott Steadman, himself, has actually called me a few times just to see how I am doing with my new car and if there is anything Toyota can do to help me. I love it! Any problems, questions or concerns I have had, they have been more than happy to help me with. My car had an indicator light that kept coming on for some unknown reason, but after some troubleshooting they were able to fix that. I have also had my oil changed and the 5000 mile check up done there in the shop. Everyone that I have dealt with in service has also been really awesome! Your dealership does a really really good job of making people feel important and caring about us as individuals (and our vehicles). The New Owners Dinner thing was really awesome too. It is a very clever and nice, and delicious, way of advertising for further additions on our cars without being an annoying sales pitch. Scott is definitely the most enjoyable sales person I have ever dealt with in any sales situation. He was real and down to earth; and I truly felt like he had my best interest in mind throughout the sale. Actually, I still feel -even after buying the car- that he has my best interest in mind. I feel that genuinely nice and kind people are not the easiest thing to find; however your dealership seems to have a few (that I know of) working for you. From the ladies who are very polite and full of smiles at the front, to the actual car buying and on into the service department, your dealership far exceeds my expectations! Thank you! Mid December, I purchased a 2011 Toyota Yaris. I asked for the out-the-door, bottom- line price right away, and in a matter of minutes it was on the desk at a significantly lower number than I was expecting for the first number. No games. The entire process was quick, painless, and professional. I received great customer service. I would highly recommend this dealer. This will be the first place I will look next time I am seeking a new vehicle.

I went to the dealership to buy my first car. My sales consultant was Scott Steadman. He was very friendly and helpfull. The ficility was very clean and organized. He directed me to the exact car I wanted. The overall process was very fast and smooth. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. Just based on phone conversations alone, I had already decided to buy the car before I ever even drove it or went to the dealership! Nina and Tony were extremely friendly and did not try to "hard sell" me at all, which I hate. They were upfront and helpful, and the whole process took less than a few hours. I have talked so much about my great experience at Toyota Knoxville that now, my mom is contacting them from 3 states away to help her as well!

When I went to buy a truck i was told to go to Toyota of Knoxville,because they gave the best service. During my visit I was helped by salesmen Burchfield and Steadman and they went out of thier way to make sure I picked out the right truck for me and during all the paper work everything went very smooth. We have been and continue to be pleased with this dealership. We have experienced very professional service and continue to be pleased with our 2010 Toyota Camry. We have since recommended to our daughter and son-in-law when they were shopping for a SUV to visit Toyota of Knoxville and they decided to purchase a Toyota Sienna SUV and they are pleased as well. My wife and I have bought three (3) automobiles from Toyota of Knoxville since 2007, and plan on buying an FT86, if and when Toyota builds it. Scott Stedman has kept in contact with us on a continuing basis about things going on with the Mfg. and the dealership. I recomend the dealreship, and the salesman, regulary.

I told them what I was looking for and when I came in to get my brand new Venza, it was parked in the showroom and was more fabulous than what I had even expected! Scott Steadman is a great person to work with! He made the whole process very easy! I've had my Venza almost a year now and I still love it! Each time I've taken my car in for routine maintenance I've been totally satisfied with the service I've received. 5 star dealership!

Awful is too little a word to describe them, they have the most unfriendly sales staff who just want you to buy the car at their price. If you test drive and say you will think about it and walk be ready to be insulted. The salesmen told us "WHY DID YOU TEST DRIVE IF YOU DIDNT WANT TO BUY IT" so bottom line dont expect them to lower prices just buy at their sticker price. They are the most obnoxious, arrogant and rude car dealers in the world and they dont hesitate in spreading false malicous rumors about their competitors !!!
