I have not owned a Ford in years past. Last weekend my wife and I visited Town & Country Ford and were greeted by Michael Vince ... who proved to be an exceptionally pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful Salesman. After considerable consideration I decided to buy a new Ford. My decision was based on Ford's reputation AND the personal attention and help of Michael. After my decision was made Michael, the Sales Manager, and other Town & Country personnel who assisted in my purchase were extremely pleasant, efficient, and professional. Based on my recent experiences I will not hesitate at all to recommend to others Michael Vince and Town & Country Ford when purchasing a new vehicle.

I brought my 2008 Taurus to Town and Country Ford on 5/19/20 for service. My service manager, Bill Worthington, was a pleasure to work with. My service was completed in a short amount of time. I felt safe in the clean and spacious waiting lounge. I have found Town and Country Ford to be an excellent place to take my Ford vehicles for service and repairs. Highly recommend!

I took my 2019 Ford Ranger in for Oil change and Tire Rotation. I only take it to Town & Country as they do an excellent job and a fair price. They were quick about 45 minutes and thorough. I also love the food at their Pit Stop Cafe. This is REAL Diner type food. The whole experience is very low key and low stress. I only go there for new cars and the service on them.

I noticed a small chip in the passages side mirror glass after I left the lot brought the truck with less then 100 miles more then when purchased. Was told by Jacob in service that it most likely would not be covered but he would take pictures and send to Ford and he would call me back the following Monday. Not only did Ford not cover replacement glass, Jacob did not call me back. I had to call him back a week later. I feel like it is obvious the chip could not be caused by any error on my part and should be replaced.

Thanks to Jay Jones and the team at Town and Country Ford, I was able to upgrade my car to a newer model almost seamlessly! I went in with VERY clear expectations as to what I was looking for, budget, etc. and I was not hassled into getting something beyond what I could afford. While the repairs were absolutely satisfactory, the fact that the tensioner pulley broke off where the bolt entered the engine block indicates a manufacturing defect. No way that should happen at 36,000 miles. The advisor indicated it was a problem withe Ford Transits with the same engine indicated corporate purchases of inferior parts, which the customer should not have to expect to spend ($700 +). Hyundai anyone?

When we entered Town and Country Ford, Charlotte, NC, we were greeted by friendly faces and helpful sales people. We were looking for Adam, who was our sale person in 2010 when I bought my last truck. He has since been promoted to another position and he asked Kent Bateson to help us out. We test drove 3 different trucks and I chose a green one that had 20" wheel hubs and drives like a dream. Kent talked through everything with us and answered any questions we had on our minds. It was a great experience and I recommend Town and Country Ford to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Wednesday I went in for an oil change. I have been doing business with Town and Country Ford since 1994 when I bought my 1st convertible Mustang. My next car I bought was from there in 2002 a T bird! The next car I bought from them an Explorer and finally another Explorer. I've never had my cars serviced anywhere else and enjoy my visits with the professional dealership very much.

Very knowledgeable staff . Took the time to go over my 2016 F-150 in detail. Price posted online was better than the other FIVE dealerships that I shopped. I was convinced to stop by my home town dealership and they would give me a comparable price. Yes, these were F-150's that were only different by color and sticker price of $220.00. After 45 minutes of test drive, the out dated method of talking to the salesman and them going to the "person behind the curtain" (Twice). Price was still better at Town and Country Ford (Sonic Automotive).

I can?t say enough good things about our experience with the staff and our purchase experience at Town & Country Ford. We started with an online inquiry and worked with Jay ? he was very informative and quick to respond. We?re actually still working with Jay, as we left things in our old car and are following up on a paint blemish that Town & Country has agreed to look into to see if they can fix. We really appreciate the fact that we haven?t lost their attention now that they?ve gotten our purchase. On the day of our purchase, Jay was able to set an appointment but was actually working with another customer when we arrived, which is when we met Hugh. Hugh had the best personality of any person in automotive sales I?ve ever met. He was not pushy during the test drive or the rest of the process, gave all the right information at all the right times, and was very accommodating of our numerous questions. We did end up making a deal the very same night on a 2015 Edge. To get the numbers and financing right, we worked with Suat and Charles (C-Wall) back and forth. Both were accommodating in making a deal and we felt they were very understanding of our personal situation. It?s worth noting that they were there with us nearly 3 hours after closing to help us to make this deal. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the process at Town & Country Ford. My wife and I were both impressed at the use of technology to transfer information between departments, which drastically reduced our time spent there finalizing paperwork. I have bought a car at another dealership, with no trade in, little back and forth on financing and numbers, and did not test drive it the same day as I knew I was ready to buy. The process there from start to finish took us 5 or 6 hours total. At Town & Country we did not know we were going to buy that day, had to test drive and get a trade appraised, and went back and forth on financing and overall numbers and the process took just about half the time!Additionally, I really appreciate that their pricing (for both trades and their inventory) is driven off of market comparisons as opposed to a standard value. I felt that it worked in our favor on both our trade in and the purchase price of our Edge. It was the best deal we found in the area.We?re a Ford loving family which is good news for us, and for Town & Country Ford. We will be back!

Purchased a 2016 Ford F-150. Went to three different dealerships trying to negotiate a deal for a truck. I told each dealership that I was definitely buying a truck by the end of the week and gave them my maximum amount I felt comfortable with spending. Town and Country was the only one that made any type of effort to get even close to the amount I was comfortable with. They never tried putting me above what I wanted to spend. They showed me the truck they could work with me on and after a little back and forth the deal was made and I was in and with the deal done. Thank you Town and Country for being there for your buyer. I purchased my 2012 MKX from CarMax with an extended warranty. My car was leaking oil after owning it for only 4 months and I was told it was still under Manufactures Warranty so they required me to take my car in for repair at Town and County Ford Independence Blvd. Charlotte NC.The guys at Town & Country took great care of me and even provided me with a rental at no charge. They repaired my vehicle in a timely manor and there was no charge for the diagnosis or repair. They did not sell me the car but treated me as if I did. Now that's excellent service.

After finding the perfect car for me online, it quickly dawned on me that I would have to drive almost 300 miles away from my home in Milledgeville, GA to get it. After arriving at T&C Ford, thoroughly exhausted from the trek in my rental car (NOT a Ford), I was greeted and treated with the utmost courtesy and respect by every employee I came in contact with. The salespeople didn't seem like salespeople at all, but like church goers, eager to welcome the new visitor. I never felt as though I was being sold something. It was a bit like spending a couple of hours at a spa, only instead of leaving after a relaxing massage and with a nice pedicure, I left with a car I thought previously unattainable. The entire experience was fantastic and the people and service top-notch. Next time I'm in the market for a new or used vehicle, T&C Ford is well worth a 300 mile drive. A+!

I needed a duplicate key made, went to the parts department. As I entered, there were three employees behind the counter and no customers there. As I entered I asked if someone could duplicate my key. A bald gentleman asked the young employee sitting with his arms and head down on the counter if he wanted to handle that. The young man looked up at him and grinned and put his head back down. Then the bald gentleman looked at the key and told me I would have to go to service to get it programmed. When I asked for directions he told me I would need to get into my vehicle and drive through. Now at this point my whole encounter was one of that I was a bother for coming in. I did as instructed and drove into a long bay, and again several employees standing in a group chatting and laughing. I am fairly sure it was not a team meeting. After several minutes one employee walks over slowly and ask if I had an appointment. I told him I had been instructed at parts to come over here to get a key made. He informed me that he would have a service something (attendant or assistant) come over to help me and he left. I sat there, for maybe five minutes and watched the employees socialize in a group, no other customers in the bay. Again it felt like a I was not only a bother but not important enough to help. Finally I backed up since I was blocked by a vehicle with no one inside it. I left and I will never go back to Town and Country Ford for anything. Having been a manager myself for over forty years I can tell you that your service department does not have a good customer service work ethic.

I have always trusted the Town & Country service department. They do excellent work and are diligent when faced with a difficult service diagnosis. They spent months tracking down a problem with my son's car, found the issue, and charged me a reasonable amount. Bill Worthington is always up front with what needs to be addressed right away and what is coming up in the future.

I recently had an ongoing issue with my doors on my Ford Edge, the sensor light kept saying that the doors were open, they were not. After doing my own research and homework and that was a fail, I called Town and Country Ford and spoke to the Charles the general manager who immediately had his service manager call me back within minutes!! I told him my issue and concern and he asked when I could have the car up there for them to look at it and take care of it, so the the next morning I was up there as soon as they opened and a loaner car was waiting for me! I ended up having to keep the loaner all weekend no problem I knew my car was being fixed! They called and kept me up to date on my car. I'm so excited to have my car back and it fixed!! THANK YOU TOWN & COUNTRY FORD!!! They truly care about their customers, my family has bought 5 vehicles and will continue to purchase from Town & Country!!

From the moment I entered the store, Kent Batesman made me and my wife feel at home like family. He was fantastic. My Sportrac was ready for an upgrade and we fell in love with a gorgeous 2016 King Ranch green gem. We decided to buy and the process could not have been smoother and more rewarding. Every staff member was impressively professional, knowledgeable and friendly (and the coffee machine is outstanding). We got a great deal, better than any on-line service or dealer. Great trade-in value for my old friend. We were out the door, driving the new unbelievable KR home same day. I didn't think a truck could have the luxury feel, comfort and extensive technology that we have in this vehicle--couldn't be happier--absolutely love it--now fighting with the wife for the keys. This is our second new purchase from Town and Country--great service team as well. We won't go anywhere else. Thanks again to Kent and the rest of the T&C staff.

Today is 2/11/16. On 12/18/15, I purchased a fully loaded 2015 F-150 King Ranch from T & C Ford that had multiple significant cosmetic flaws. Several were found the day of purchase once the vehicle was delivered, unfortunately, that was after the 3 HOUR paperwork session was completed. I was assured each issue would be addressed, and that I should not be concerned. Of course, I was told the paperwork would only take 45-60 minutes!! The other cosmetic flaws were discovered on 12/19/15 and 12/20/15. These were brought to the attention of T & C Ford early on 12/21/15. At that time, I communicated my belief that the many issues could indeed be repaired or replaced, but that was not something I wanted to participate in. As a result, I proposed we void the 12/18/15 sale and target the purchase of a 2015 F-150 Platinum I was interested in. The dealership ignored my request. But then again, the dealership created the flaws, not Ford Motor Company!!After multiple phone calls and emails, a meeting was finally set to review the growing list of issues associated with my truck. A date of 1/4/16 was set to complete the repairs, and I subsequently left the truck with them on that date for a period of 5 days. While many of the original issues were pursued, not all were completed, and additional issues arose. Chief among the latter set of issues is the fact that their detail shop damaged $5K worth of wheels and tires. The damaged wheels and tires were replaced on 1/8/16 with another set from a truck in their lot inventory. However, it was soon discovered that the replacement wheels were also scratched by the same internal detail shop that damaged the original set. This particular damage was noted by multiple Ford representatives on 2/4/16 when a comprehensive review of my truck was completed by a Ford Field Service Engineer named Alan. Alan asked that I give him 2 business days to formulate a plan of action for the outstanding items reviewed. Chief among those items are the severely etched glass, the scratched wheels, the etched paint, and the mismatched door panel. Also, be advised, the damaged wheels and tires were placed on a 2016 King Ranch with the hopes that the next guy wouldn't notice!! Today, we are now one week removed from that 2/4/16 meeting, and no plan of action has been communicated by Ford or by local T & C personnel. Even a moderate resolution here is being made impossible by T & C Ford. Keep in mind that I have contacted my sales person (Carl Ralston), his sales manager (Keith Starnes), the dealership General Manager (Charles Pierce), the dealership Operations Manager (John Lomenzo), the dealership Service Advisor (Jacob Groeneveld), the dealership Service Manager (Steve Ganc), Ford Motor Company Rep (Sonia Ortiz), Ford U.S. Sales Director (Dave Mondragon), and Ford Field Service Engineer (Alan ??). My attempts have been via email, telephone, and actual visits to the dealership. This has been going on now for almost 2 months. So, when you consider +/- $3,000.00 of severely etched glass that needs replacement, +/- $4,000.00 worth of wheels that have been scratched, at least $400 of paint detailing to remove etching, no less than $800.00 of interior parts that need to be replaced, and other various items in need of attention, I would say the time has come to revisit my original request of 12/21/15 and put me in a new truck sooner than later. Please note that my truck has only 1,810 miles currently showing. This entire process has placed significant strain on my personal time, my professional schedule, and my wallet. I simply want to move forward in a vehicle that reflects $62,000.00 of my hard earned money. The current vehicle in my possession does not. As a result, I now have case files with The NCDOJ and The BBB Auto Line. It appears mediation will soon follow, which I view as an unfortunate path to pursue, but one that has been made necessary by T & C Ford.BUYER BEWARE!!!

I haven't been on a dealership to go through the buying process in 10 years. This recent experience with Town & Country Ford on Independence definitely changed my perception of the "standard dealership." From the first few minutes my wife and I were outside of our vehicle and looking at Explorers, we were greeted by Ron Mac. Over the next hour or so, Ron did a great job of walking us through their process. Not only did he ask the right questions but he listened to what was important to us to help us make the best decision. He did a phenomenal job of educating us on the Explorer options and the purchasing options. It was great working with him because we had a lot of questions and he was very knowledgeable!As we narrowed down our choices, Ron also introduced us to his Experience Manager, Kelly. Like Ron, Kelly did a great job of truly getting to understand what was important to my wife and I and make sure all of our questions were answered prior to making a decision. Together, they did a great job of thinking of alternate buying solutions and ways to get creative with a trade-in.Overall, the team at Town & Country Ford with Ron, Kelly and their support staff were phenomenal to work with. My wife and I never felt like we were being pushed into a decision. Ron spent a ton of one-on-one time with us as we tried to come a decision and was extremely professional throughout that whole process. I give them 0 stars! Don't even know where to begin with these nasty people! I have a Lincoln with top of the line PremiumCare warranty and Bumper to Bumper. Brought my car in and explained all the issues-all my issues were also verified by another dealership. I had to fight for a rental I was entitled to. John refused to honor my Ford Lincoln warranties and didn't even fix a safety recall with my door locks. John called me on my way out of town and told me he was canceling my rental and would not be paying. I had to literally turn around and come back to Charlotte to turn in the rental and pick up my car that they refused to fix even though they acknowledged all my car issues. John even called the police on my boyfriend saying he was trespassing because he was talking to him about him refusing service and my warranties. This is the most unprofessional dealer I have ever dealt with. I called Lincoln's Client Rationship Center and made a claim. They said that they would be in contact with this dealership because they absolutely cannot refuse to fix a safety recall that is on my car or honor my Ford warranty. This place is a joke! Stay away!

After searching the internet for a F150, I decided to buy one from Town and Country because they had one of the best deals on line (Some dealers had higher rebates but they also only had vehicles on the lot that were in the upper 50% of the price range.. I really liked where I could make an appointment to work out a deal on the vehicle the dealership had online and they would hold the vehicle for me for up to 24 hours since I was driving several hours from the dealership. This was also a major reason I chose this dealership. (I had read other buyers comments, where other dealers would advertise a vehicle online and by the time the drove several hours to a dealership, the vehicle would be sold. After some clarification on the selling price over the phone, I drove to the dealership the next day. Once there, I was told what I had been told over the phone about the price wasn't correct concerning 0% financing (learned what is finalized on the phone, have sent to you in writing before visiting the dealership). Needless to say, the folks at the dealership worked with me to get a deal that was beneficial to me and they still made money. The folks there seemed to be trying hard to change things that gave them bad reviews in the past. Overall it was the right decision to visit and purchase a vehicle from them. Will look at them again when my wife is ready to buy a new car.

The woman that helped me check out and pay wore a smile although she was halfway to her car when I pulled up. The man that went to get my car also smiled and joked with me. Bill Worthington was an exceptional service representative. He truly understood our concerns about recalls and was proactive in finding actual solutions to our issues. Our vehicle was purchased through a dealership inFort Mill although it came from Town and Country Ford originally. The service at Fort Mill has been questionable so we have been forced to drive 27 miles to Town and Country to get good service. ( Fort Mill Ford is right down the street from us). I was looking for a new family vehicle a few weeks ago. I had done my research prior to arriving at the dealership, so I knew EXACTLY what I wanted (2015 Explorer Sport, Tuxedo Black). Elijah Jackson introduced himself as a Ford Salesman, and proceeded to make the entire process a breeze. Immediately, Elijah took the little people to an entertainment area that had a television and books to keep them happy. Next, he listened as I told him the model we wanted, and the features we wanted. He had one in inventory, but it had one feature we DIDN'T want. NO PROBLEM! Mr. Jackson did some searching, made a few calls, and found the exact Explorer we wanted. In less than 24 hours, the car was on site, prepped, and spotless. The actual purchase, from the credit check, to signing the last document took less than 90 minutes! And with Town&Country's TRUE PRICING, there was no squabbling for hours over a final price. After my 2007 Camry was totaled I was looking for a replacement as near to my car as possible. Found what looked like a very close match with a satisfactory CarFax report and for a what seemed like very reasonable price on-line and contacted Town and Country Ford for more information. Talked to three different people over the course of four days and all three were friendly and helpful. Arranged for a test drive (I live 130 miles away) and the car was cleaned, gassed and sitting out front ready for my wife and I when we arrived as they said it would be. Our salesman was Mr. Hugh Johnson. The test drive was satisfactory and we bought the car that day. Mr. Johnson and the rest of the staff couldn't have been nicer during the whole process and everything went smoothly. Then, after driving only a few hundred feet off the lot I found that the CD player didn't work (who checks THAT on a test drive?). Immediately returned to the lot and looked up Mr. Johnson. Not sure what I expected....but he couldn't have been more helpful. He found the Service Manager, Mr. Hutto, and both offered, without my having to ask, to replace the CD/radio unit at their cost. So far, so good (and a very pleasant surprise compared to what I was ready to hear). Took the car back two weeks later when they said the replacement was available and things got even better. When the re-install was done I expected to find a used Toyota CD/radio unit that had been pulled from another salvaged Camry at some point...but was quite happily surprised to find a brand name, touch-screen unit installed that by all appearances is a significant upgrade from the stock unit. Wow! OK, so a CD player isn't a make or break deal when looking for a car compared to the car overall....but the way they handled it was above and beyond, in my opinion, especially considering it was a used car, and not a Ford at that and tells me a bit about how they probably treat more serious situations. I had previously reached out to Town and Country about a car I saw online. I made an appointment to come to the dealership to check out the car I saw. I started new position in March which include a company car. The organization buys the cars and the other company cars came from other dealers. I phoned and visited over 10 local dealerships and it was if no one listened to my budget, or desires. I called Town and Country Ford where I had bought my personal vehicle, a 2002 Ford Sport Trac (which I still have and love with over 175,212,000 miles on it) off the show room floor and right away I knew I should had started here. I was lucky enough to get Holly Kimmel on the phone and WOW, she is awesome. She listened, and found me exactly what I was looking for at the budget I was allowed to work with from my company. It was so easy and I am a proud owner of a 2014 Ford Taurus with all the bells and whistles and the color, Dark Side is pimpy if I do say so myself. I saw the car on cars.com, and emailed. I was able to get the information on the dealership, and they kindly contacted me to set up a time for me to come drive the car at my convenience. The contact person had the salesman have the car ready for me, the salesman had the finance man ready to meet my terms when I got done driving the car, and even though I had some things to deal with afterwards, they held my hand and provided excellent care and concern for me! They helped me from start to finish. I admit, I was expecting some things to go wrong, but they took charge and their finance man even went above and beyond a few days later to make sure all went perfect! Thank you all!

Town and country was one of my many stops on feb. 16th for me to look at a used vehicle. They had a 2009 chevy traverse that we were really intrested in but due to paperwork errors was not able to get it. We got called in a day or so later after application was filled out saying they had another vehicle for us that would work. We packed up to take a look and it was a 2010 dodge journey. This vehicle was not on our lists of intrests but knowing how car salesmen are we ended up purchasing it. A week after purchasing it the car started malfunctioning not wanting to turn on here and there leaving my family stranded in hot, cold, and rainy weather. Have brought it in on several occasions and even towed in once due to this problem. My warranty is out and now am liable for it to be looked at or fixed any further and not one time has anything been fixed to stop this problem. Asked for a refund of my down payment but couldn't get full refund and asked to get traded out of and this either cant be done. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I have been a good customer making my payments on time. Here it is 4 months since I purchased the vehicle and the problem is getting much worse. Do not go to this dealership, the people are rude especially the finance section. A gentleman named scott in particular. He gets frustrated very easily and doesn't do his job 100%. He doesn't call the appropriate people needed to help out and has given attitude since day one that we walked in.

We came into Town & Country Ford today to trade our truck for a new F-150. From me the minute we walked in the door and was introduced to Chavar Wood we had nothing but an enjoyable buying process. Chavar was an awesome salesperson and made sure that we were well attended to. He made our sales experiences one of the best we've ever had. I would recommend anyone to see Chavar for their next car needs.

Was a pleasure buying a car. Great prices, no pressure, and very friendly sales staff!!! Came in because I did my research online and their prices were very good and liked that they did "True Price" so I didn't have to haggle price for hours, they gave me a price that was much better than other dealers were quoting and that was right up front. They facility was really nice, and they even have a restaurant in the dealership which was very convenient and cool! I definitely recommend them. Go see Carl Ralston he was a pleasure to work with very personable, no pressure and was up front and honest with me. Overall a very refreshing experience especially when I usually dread shopping for a car.

I purchased a used ford edge and got the extended warranty and in less than a month of me purchasing this vehicle the computer module has gone out. I took it to the dealership cause i had the warrant and they tell me it wasnt covered. So im like well i had the vehicle for less than a month i feel this should be a cortesy fix. The repair is more than my car payment which i have not paid yet cause its due next month im like wow so my first payment is going to be for a major repair already. Wow

The people at this dealership are nice enough when you can actually talk to someone. Customer service from these people is sorely lacking. If you call and leave a voice mail you expect a response at least within a couple of hours. I've called and left messages and no one would call me back all day...and I would have to call again the next day. If you guys don't know the answer, at least call me back and let me know you're looking into it. I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership and the radio was not working. They were going to get it fixed but when I called the next week I never received a call back. I kept calling and finally they said, "Oh we got the vehicle back yesterday". Where was the call to me? Now it has been over a month since I've purchased the vehicle and the 30-day temporary tag has expired over a week ago. I was promised the permanent tag last week but never received the tag nor a phone call explaining where it is. I called back today and of course I had to leave a voice mail because no one there actually answers the phone, and hours later still no reply. I called again and again had to leave a voice mail. Finally I get a reply saying someone else is working on my case and they are not in the office today. I think that is ridiculous but I would have been more understanding if you had called me back earlier today. It seems unbelievable to me that a business that deals in cars all the time would have any kind of problems getting a out-of-state title and getting a customer their tag in under 30 days. Either no one was looking into it or it was incompetence but either way it does not give a person a good feeling about being a customer of this dealership. And something to try, if a customer calls and leaves a message how about giving that customer a call back within the hour...that goes a long way into showing you care.

Made several phone calls to dealership for new Explorer. Originally worked with very nice new salesman (Mike); however, next day, he was no longer with dealership. After that, I received poor customer service, no return phone calls. Renee and Adam refused to contact other dealership where vehicle I was interested in was traded with. Town and Country lived up to their poor reputation; will never purchase vehicle from them, will not recommend this dealership and will tell others of my bad experience with them. FYI I contacted the other dealership that the original Explorer I was looking at was trasferred to. I have since traveled the 166 miles to that dealership to purchase my new 2014 Explorer.

Town and country ford has been my best dealership experience ever. I just bought my 5th mustang and could not be happier with the price and service I was provided. My salesman ken bronikowski was up front and honest the whole way through. He as not pushy and annoying like most car salesman. The true price system the dealership has is a great way to buy a new vehicle. Like everyone else I hate going to a dealership and sitting there for hours arguing with a salesman over price. The true price eliminates that. I look forward to buying my next vehicle from town and country ford. Thank you for being an outstanding dealership.

I was very pleased with the help I received from Town and Country Ford. The Sales Department listened to me and helped me locate the type, color and year Ford I was hunting and had it shipped to their dealership! I was so happy to see my Mustang Convertible in grabber blue! It was in excellent shape! I would recommend them to anyone!
