I searched online for a couple months, with a list of my criteria. I finally found a vehicle that matched with everything I wanted, sold at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan. It was after hours, so I submitted an inquiry online, expressing my interest and asking about availability. I received a response the next morning! I was given a sales associate to work with (Rick), who worked on my trade-in value, and sales figures, before I arrived. All went well and quickly! My husband and I signed the paperwork, turned in trade-in keys, and had new keys in hand, within a couple hours. Quick, efficient, we got exactly what we wanted, and Rick was professional and easy to work with!

This is the third used car we have purchased working with Jay. We consider him "our car guy". What I appreciate the most is the no-nonsense, no pressure and no haggling that I have experience on other lots in the past. The combination of his professionalism, sincerity and humor makes buying a car fun.. like it should be! Their commitment to excellence is very obviously reflected in there selected inventory (something for everyone) and the cleanliness of the offices, building and grounds (something I personally appreciate). From our first interaction Tonkin Wilsonville we were treated with respect and in a straightforward and professional manner. We were given information about the vehicle and complete cost and financing options up front and in writing -- so different from our disappointing experiences with other dealers as we shopped for our Rogue. And then there was our wonderful sales person, James Palacio! J was so helpful. His enthusiasm, his knowledge of the product and the process, and his genuine desire to make our experience a positive one are the main reasons we are giving this review a 5 star rating. After a long time looking for our next family vehicle my wife stumbled across wilsonville Nissan on the Internet. We had been looking for a Chevy suburban, Toyota sienna ect. Then we came across the Nissan NV3500. We where not looking at them in the past because we didn't think we could afford that type of vehicle. Our experience at Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville was wonderful because of Jay. We were buying a used car they had for sale. We were amazed at how much he knew about Subarus. Even the Subaru dealer sales people did not know as much about them as he did. Jay said he liked to be informed so he could better help his customers. He was a wealth of information and not at all pushy. He gave us the information we needed to make a good decision, offered us a price we could not refuse and we ended up buying the 2014 Subaru Outback they had for sale. I can't even imagine his knowledge base on Nissans if he knew this much about a car he did not usually sell. This guy should be teaching other sales people how to sell cars. It would be a much happier experience for folks if all the car salesman were like Jay.

I recently came in to finance a car. I have a recent bankruptcy so I wasn't sure if I would be able to finance, but once I arrived, I was amazed at how awesome the team was and I all but forgot about my less than perfect credit.Jay Palacio was the sales person with whom I worked. We became instant friends. I let him know that my purchase would be to put my 2 yr old in the safest car possible and still have low payments. Jay was honest from the jump and let me know that he would do his best to get me in a car that same day but there weren't guarantees. I appreciated his honesty because he did not want me to waste my time. As we looked through the cars he would advise me about any issues he has seen come up with that make/model. When we finally found the perfect car, he and his finance team (Casey and Jake) went to bat for me. Before the end of the night, they had me approved and driving away in my 2010 Nissan Cube.Later in the week, I got a call from Jay to check in and make sure all was well. The funny part about my experience is that my mom, brother, and sister-in-law recently bought cars from a different dealership, and I insisted on going to Tonkin. In the past I had a great experience with Tonkin, so I wanted to go back. My mom was with me when Jay helped me out and she is now coming back to him to get a car for my grandparents! He is an amazing guy (we talked about our families and shared stories with each other), and I am so happy to have met him! Kudos to Casey and Jake too! They were just as amazing!

I have reached out on multiple occasions and they don't return calls, always some excuse. I am sure their 5 star rating is self promoted. I wish my experience was better, I inquired about a vehicle via the Internet, I was specific about the vehicle I wanted and what I wanted to pay. They sent me a price quote which was for the max I had said I would pay. I replied to their quote willing to go a head with the deal but of course they switched the price and now it's $2000 more than the quote they gave me. The salesman tried to get me to go forward with the increased sale price, of course. The gentleman I spoke to was pleasant but it's frustrating that they pull this bate and switch. I would love to find a honest car dealer who I can trust and feel good doing business with. Please let me know if such a Nissan dealer exists.

I contacted Tonkin originally by email and a nice gentleman named Jay Palacio got back to me right away!! I have VERY challenged credit so it was a long shot to get me financed on the 2006 Scion TC that I wanted. By the end of the day Jay and his Manager Nick Romo had me an approval with very decent terms considering my current standing. I decided to do some more shopping around, via the internet and personal visit to other dealers. Well, needless to say, I ended up right back at Tonkin Nissan. I had a very nice experience at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan thanks to Rick Gilpin and Nick Romo. They were courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and provided just the right level of letting me look at / sit in / look around the car and did not hover over me (unlike some dealerships). The car in question was a new, prior-year model in my third or fourth color choice. I was trying to talk myself into that color, which they understood completely. They offered a very fair price on this vehicle (which I'd have taken if it was one of my top two colors), and gave me plenty of time to think about it with no pressure. When I'd decided to wait and find one in the color I preferred, they offered to call around and assess the possibility of trading their car with a dealer which had one of the color choices. Understandably, the pricing in that scenario was considerably more than the inventory they had on hand, so we elected not to do the deal & instead wait a little longer. The Rick and Nick were 100% professional and understanding through the entire process, and I will be referring friends & family to them in the coming years. Great experience & highly recommended.

I was frankly completely intimidated buy a dealership experience (or the thought of a dealership experience) - I didn't want to be 'that girl' that paid way to much or bought the 'wrong' thing or was never seen again once I entered the property. I drove every make and model in my price range two months before I could actually buy anything in the hope I would be prepared. Then I procrastinated for another 30 days. Finally, I sent friends out on their own to drive various cars I was considering. When I walked into Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan, Ash was one of the first people to smile from across the room in greeting - but he didn't approach me (I probably looked like a deer in the headlights).Everyone actually was very relaxed and friendly (not fake friendly - or 'new BFF friendly' either) - genuinely friendly. I was completely taken aback. It was as if we were actually all friends. They simply DID NOT STEER me anywhere - they truely gave me the control and never tried to take it away. There could not have been less urgency to making a purchase - they encouraged me to take my time. My wife and I visited this dealership several months ago, knowing that we were going to replace our 2003 Jeep Liberty in the next 6-9 months. We had our hearts set on a pickup and thought the full-size was what we needed. After looking at these briefly, we decided it may be too much truck for our needs and James was able to steer us away from this, pointing out reasons why a full-size was not right for what we needed. James showed us several Frontiers and as few SUVs and we took a test drive. James compared the Frontier with the Toyota Tacoma, pros and cons. He encouraged us to visit the Toyota dealership and try a Tacoma ourselves. Which we did afterward.We were upfront with James that we were not looking to purchase at the time of our first visit, but seeing what is available and what we liked for when the time came. He was understanding and did not try to make us buy something right then and offered us times of the year when prices would be better and when the dealership sale events were taking place. He really appeared to have our best interest in mind. He asked us to come back to him even if we decided we preferred a Toyota since he has access to many vehicles in the Tonkin inventory in the Portland area. After visiting a few dealerships since, we came back last week to work specifically with James. He was a pleasure to work with- mild mannered, calm and had access to the answers we wanted. He encourages us to call, e-mail or text any time of day we have questions, as he did with our first visit and a sale was months away at best.He was open and honest and forthcoming; offered us available discounts where we could get them. He did not try to "pull a fast one" at any time or pressure us.

My visit to Tonkin was the best visit from all dealerships I had been too during my previous weeks car search. Jay and the AWESOME team he works with were not only friendly, but seriously respectful, listened and answered all of our questions, especially the ones my mother had which were redundent. Jay was extreemly patient with her and never rushed us during our inquiries about the Caravan we were interested in. Personally, I have never experienced this level of proffesionalism when it comes to buying a car. I never felt like I was fresh meat in a tank of hungry sharks, as I have experienced this at other dealerships. I truly felt that not only was my business appreciated, but I also felt that thru every step of the process, ( and we made it a long one for him), that he really had our best interest per our situation at heart. He explained things so very well, did not talk too fast, he did not hide any information, he did not offer any false hopes, cheesey gimiks or candy coat anything. Just real, friendly, honest, straight up, and most of all... valued the same interest we had for the reason of purchasing this peticular vehicle. I live in Vancouver, WA and made the trip to Wilsonville after emailing a few dealerships. I specifically requested no phone calls and no hassling, and--yet--so many of them did just that (a flood of nonsense emails, requests for my phone number, phone calls). Tonkin responded simply, quickly, and with no nonsense. I decided to drive over 30 minutes to deal with THEM instead of dealing with the closer dealerships that had ignored my requests. I made the right choice! The people are nice, the buying process was quick and easy, and there was ZERO nonsense or "salesman" behavior. At no point did I feel like I was being bullied or manipulated. I'm super happy with my new car and would advise everyone to go see them!

My husband and I spent 3 months looking for the perfect used car and finally found it at Tonkin. We spent 2 days conversing with the salesman. My in-laws stopped and inspected the car for us since we are several hours away. We decided that this was the car for us and so we rearranged our scedules to drive down to buy the car. When we told the salesman to consider the car sold and we would like to put money down on it to secure it, we were then told that the car wasnt available for us to buy. A friend of a family member of the owner decided that they liked the car and wanted to come look at it to possibly buy. However if she didnt buy the car we would have first pick on it. This dealership wasted our time on a car they never intended on selling us. When we asked the general manager for an explanation, his remark was "well thats the car business." This dealership has no integerity. They were dishonest with us and I would warn anyone looking to buy through them, they do not keep their word. They sold the car out from under us to a friend. They are there to sell a car and do not care about there customers.

I had needed my front breaks replaced and rotors turned on my 2005 Ford F150. An appointment was made and the service department greeted me and was ready when I drove up. Chad did an initial review of the work to be done and ensured I understood what would be taking place and the time involved. From the second that we pulled into the dealership we were immediately greeted with a friendly face. I thought that the gentleman at the door looked very familiar and I asked him if he was the one that sold me a different car YEARS ago! He immediately remembered me as well and started asking about a dog that I used to have. My husband and I had done our online research the night before so we knew just the SUV that we wanted to see. Rick promptly grabbed the keys and then my husband and him went and grabbed the car for us to see. Rick was GREAT to work with. He answered all of our questions and was very honest and upfront. My husband and I went into the day thinking that we needed to go to all these different dealerships and see all that is out there. Our minds immediately changed when we drove the 2013 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum. The amount of features that come loaded in this SUV are more than I have seen in some high end luxury makes and models. For the price and options it made it a no-brainer. We had looked through various Internet websites (Edmonds, Auto Trader, and Consumer Reports) then decided to go and look at a few of the models we had selected. It was our intent to simply look at models and then decide which vehicle we wanted to pursue. We started at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan and after a wonderful introduction and greeting by Jay, we were sold on the customer service and up front professionalism of the Tonkin Nissan team; Jay, Damian, Brian and Andy. Thank you for a wonderful experience that resulted in our exchange of vehicles; traded-in two vehicles and purchased two vehicles. My wife loves her new Altima and my mother-in-law enjoys riding around in it for her Sunday drive about. My truck is in great shape and as a used vehicle I am surprised how nice it looks and drives. Overall we had a bad experience with this business. My son bought a car and he had me come along to help him with the sales people and contract. 3 contracts later they did not honor what was told to us. Our fault to not have credit worthy of financing but their fault to continue to keep him "involved" in the ugly process of finding a financier for him and ultimately lying to him and not keeping their word on what was quoted to him originally. They took complete advantage of this young man. I promised him I would stay out of it once they called him back for a 3rd time and threatened to take the car away! I stayed out of it and told him he was on his own. He is an active duty Marine and is now re-stationed. He receives all mail at my home in McMinnville. I received the plates with a note stating they would help to put them on, imagine my surprise and anger when I arrived with plates in hand to have them put them on and "we don't have those brackets on hand". WOW. Another cost associated with his transaction that could have easily been taken care of prior to my arrival from McMinnville. Don't advertise that you will help, when you really won't! They had plenty of chances to remedy my thoughts of their business and how they do business but overall after this morning~ they failed to do so! Shame on them for dishonest practices!

The reason I'm giving this review is because of my pleasant shopping experience at Wilsonville Nissan. I did not have a clue of what I wanted. After some clarification with my salesperson, we went onto the lot and found a new Nissan Rogue with all the toys.I was impressed but I knew the driving experience would make or break the deal. Loved the way it handled and of course my head was buzzing with high tech information.I was really impressed with the GM, Mr. Bagley as he explained different options. I made a good decision and was nervous but breezed through finance and took advantage of long term service which I love. These guys are of the highest quality professionals that I've run across and I've seen many as I used to be in the car business. My great interest and friendship I had with this dealership was their great and nice customer skills they have with all their customers and they are ready to listen to their customers choices on vehicles you want to purchase with them. They do not keep their customers waiting along period of time and they always keep their customers posted on what is going with the vehicle purchase. I would recommend anyone out there who wants friendly, tireless and great customer service to visit this dealership and meet this excellent team.

Joel Fowler is an outstanding salesman, very knowledgeable about the Leaf and its operation as well as an advocate for electric cars as practical vehicles for everyday use. With Joel there is no sales pressure, just straight honest answers to questions and he is a walking wealth of useful knowledge which he is happy to share. Joel is a great listener and asks great clarifying questions on driving and use interests so that the buyer understands the cars capabilities and how it would fit with there needs. I have purchased a number of new cars in my life and Joel is by far the best salesman I have encountered, I will gladly recommend him to others interested in a new vehicle.

We made a 6 hour trip to the dealership based on the offer they made during our online contact and the dealership was as good (perhaps even better) than their online word. We were very impressed with their selection and their friendly service. We had the best car buying experience we have ever had and are very pleased with our new Frontier.

Had limited time with my energetic 5 year old daughter to test drive a truck, have appraised a trade-in, go over after-market custom options, and get back on the road with a new vehicle within 2 hours. Kevin did it, and my family really enjoy the truck. Based on the experience of the trade-in and purchase, having the Dealer Service Department add the trailer brake controller and sunroof. Yes, could have saved $50 here and there, but based on experience with Kevin, willing to give them the business. Thanks again.

Roberta Martinez from the moment we called to buy a new Nissan Versa treated us with respect and efficiency. What was promised was delivered. We were suprised when we arrived to find our cute little Nissan Versa in their nice shop with a message on the white board congratulating us on our purchase. It was nice to see that even though we weren't buying a high end car we were treated like royalty. We live in Battle Ground and chose to drive all the way to Willsonville because the Vancouver Nissan Dealers couldn't follow through and wasted our time. We were pleasantly suprised and delighted with our service at the Nissan dealership in Willsonville. We would gladly give repeat service and reccomend to others.

Called and e-mailed with Tim Wright. I drove all the way to Wilsonville from Kelso Wa because I believed Mr. Wright on a price and payment quoted to me by Tim Wright. I ended up walking out, only after being told by Mr. Wright that I wasted HIS time. After I got home, I had a message from him saying that he had accidently given me the wrong registration. Sure enough, I looked, and he had given me someone elses registration, with their private information and everything. But all ended well, I recieved a call from Allen Webb Nissan, and they treated me wonderful, I got the car I wanted, at the cost and payment they said. I would never go back to Wilsonville, but highly recommend Allen Webb, and ask for Joe. Everyone there is so nice.

I really appreciate the terrific service I received when I took my car in for an oil change this morning for the 1st time at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan. Chad McKay, my service advisor, was very nice and listened to my many questions. He was extremely patient as well. He really made me feel like I was a valued client! He even remembered that I called a couple days ago before my visit and that was really nice. The waiting room was clean and didn't smell like smoke. He looked up my year of Nissan Pathfinder to see if there were any recalls for anything just in case. I didn't have a long wait at all to have my oil changed either. I am definitely coming back and also recommending Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan to my friends! Thank you!

I recently purchased a used vehicle at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan. I spent a lot of time researching cars and dealerships on the internet and was initally attracted to this dealership because the used cars were high quality and fairly priced. I was very impressed with the superior level of customer service that was provided at the dealership. All of the employees of Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan were both friendly and respectful. I never felt pressured to make a purchase. They were willing to negotiate and I feel that I got a good deal. The finance department did an excellent job of presenting all of my options and securing a loan. I was very pleased with the entire experience and felt that the entire process was well executed on their part. This was by far the best car buying experience that I have ever had.

I took my Murano in and was surprised that Scott and Bill are no longer in the service dept. I dealt with Ronita. I didn't get a call about the status of service for over half day. I had to call her to see what was going on with my Murano. After three times calling the service department someone finally picked up and then put me on hold to get Ronita. I was on hold for over 5 minutes and tossed around several departments. Ronita finally picked up but I still didn't know anything about my car! She then put me on hold again for several minutes before she finally told me that my car needed over $2500.00 worth of work. I couldn't believe it. I asked her to do nothing else and have my car ready in hour for me to pick it up. When I got there my car and paper work were still not ready so I got to hear about 10 minutes of her personal life and some Toyota. I just wanted my car and paperwork. After the fiasco I took my Murano to another dealer who fixed it for $155.00. I will never take my Murano back to Wilsonville.

Scheduled and brought my 2010 Xterra in for a 1pm service appointment (oil change and noise check) for Saturday January 7th. After almost an hour of just sitting they started working on the car, Scott the service manager came in to the waiting room at that time to tell me that my car (which is just shy of its 2nd birthday and has 23k miles) needs a new battery. The car is well taken care of and all scheduled service appointments have been performed at the same time as scheduled. I take care of the car, to have a battery go out at less than 2 years is a bit concerning, especially since I had to pay $50 for a new one. The worse part of the the experience though is waiting 1 1/2hrs for an oil change and battery replacement, and they didn't even fix the noise my heater blower was making. The service manager was able to replicate the noise but I could not, so they didn't fix it? Then I mentioned to Scott that the whole process took quite a bit longer than I was expecting. He said that everyone seemed to bring their cars in for oil changes on that day. I mentioned that I had a 1pm appointment and he said that they don't book service appointments for oil changes and doesn't know who would tell me that I had a 1pm appointment. What was weird though is when I arrived at 12:50 they were expecting me and already had the work order drafted up. I mentioned that I didn't think I would come back to that dealership for service and Scott just shrugged and didn't say anything, didn't even apologize for the wait or reassure me that my car isn't a piece of junk, awesome!

Wilsonville Nissan is awesome! Just bought a 2012 Sentra SR Special Edition. Roberta Martinez was the rep. who assisted me. After emailing and talking to several dealers (Nissan and many others), I chose Wilsonville Nissan for 2 reasons: 1) Their "After Christmas Sale" and 2) Roberta's friendly and honest communication. Our experience at Wilsonville Nissan was FaNtAsTiC and so was our sales associate, Roberta Martinez!!! We had been shopping around town trying to obtain a deal on a Nissan Juke. We visited the Beaverton Nissan and were only frustrated and disappointed. Although the sales associates were nice there, their sales skills had much to be desired. Roberta, on the other hand, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and efficient! We explained to her, over the phone by the way, just what we wanted, and she not only located our Juke (and the specific color we wanted), but was able to lower the sales price due to a current sale at Wilsonville Nissan. It was a win-win situation for ALL! We drove away, HAPPILY, in our Juke, and Roberta made a profitable sale! Everyone at Wilsonville Nissan were kind and extended an "at home" welcome, inviting us to freely call whenever a question or concern should arise regarding our new Juke. Wilsonville Nissan Service was great when doing simple oil changes however when presented with a more challenging problem they failed miserably. When speaking with Ronita the first time around (May 20011) I felt she wasn't listening, frequently interrupting to agree with something I wasn't saying. When they were unable to replicate the problem she suggested I take a video bringing it in when the issue returns. In October 2011 I brought it back with video, this time Scott informed me video wouldn't do any good, the dealership would have to visibly see the issue before doing anything. A frustrating conversation with Scott on October 20th ended with him stating that they couldn't do anything more for me suggesting I may have to wait until the problem worsens. There wasn't any attempt to think outside the box, falling back on needing to replicate the issue. At this point I was unsatisfied with the problem solving exhibited by the Service Staff. While compassionate with Wilsonville Nissan's challenge with sending a Tech out for a 4 hour drive just to replicate an issue, waiting until the transmission failed was not a reasonable approach to resolving the matter. I asked to speak with Bill the service manager, confirming Scott had my phone number, to which he agreed. While waiting for a call from Bill I began to wonder if I over reacted to the situation and wondered if other dealerships would give me the same, "we have to see the issue before doing anything" response.After waiting more than a week for Bill to call, I called another dealership in the Portland metro area, described the issue and the challenge with replicating the problem expecting to hear the same "we have to see the issue before doing anything" response. Unexpectedly after a few minutes checking with a service tech, bulletin # NTB-10-150 was suggested as a possibility, based on my description and the verbiage within....NISSAN: MIL IS ON AND/OR SLOWER THAN NORMAL ACCELERATION. SLOWER THAN NORMAL ACCELERATION FROM A STOP AT TIMES, IF IT SHOULD OCCUR, HAPPENS MORE COMMONLY WHEN THE VEHICLE HAS BEEN DRIVEN FOR AN EXTENDED PERIODS AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS.They have ordered the parts with out seeing the car, indicating they will schedule the work to be performed when they arrive.

I went to Wilsonville Nissan to look at new cars on a weekend. I left not feeling pushed at all. Rick showed me different options of what I was looking for and really listened to me. The next weekend Rick had called to just see how I was doing in the car hunt. I told him I was going out to buy a new car this weekend and he just said ok.......that was it? No pushy saleman on the other end of the phone? Well I went to other car lots and just got the regular salesmen and one lot no one even came out and helped us. I went back home that saturday and thought about it overnight. That Sunday I decided to call Rick at Wilsonville Nissan. He remembered me and pulled my paperwork from the weekend before. By the time I got there he had the perfect car pulled a the front for me and we were on our way for a test drive. I fell in love with the NIssan Rogue. Before I knew it, it was my new car with great payments and it was so easy. I don't know why I went anywhere else. I have bought many cars in my life and I definitely have to say that Wilsonville Nissan is the best experience I have had. Everyone there was great. The finance manager was wonderful. I started the process of buying my vehicle online and was fortunate enough to deal with Hendrix Nimako at Tonkin Nissan in Wilsonville. Hendrix was honest, competent, efficient and very friendly throughout our entire negotiation process. He made my buying experience easy and I felt like I got a good, honest deal. When I arrived at the dealership he had my vehicle ready to go and went over everything I needed to know before I left. The rest of the staff I interacted with at Tonkin was also very friendly. Both Hendrix and Finance Manager, John, offered me the usual add-ons (accessories and extended warranty), but never pushed them on me in a way that felt as if I was being pressured to buy them. Buying a vehicle and dealing with salesmen has always been an un-enjoyable experience. The guys at Tonkin changed my mind about that. It was obvious that customer service was a huge priority for them and that they sare NOT the stereotypical car salesmen. I am very happy with my new truck and my experience at Tonkin never took away from the excitement of buying a new car. Thanks guys!

This purchase was to replace my teen daughter's car that had been totaled when she was hit recently. The accident was traumatizing enough, so we wanted the purchase to be as smooth, hassle-free and as straight-forward as possible. I spike with Hendrix on the phone, had the price was discussed and agreed upon before we got there. My daughter had test driven elsewhere and while the other dealership offered us same car for $200 less, we felt that the transaction would be handled more professionally and the service dept. would better support her and the dealership's commitments. We were not disappointed and it was worth the drive. A non-pressure environment with friendly and extremely knowledgable salesmen. Hendrix and Tim W. Lived up to their words and I would highly recommend them and Wilsonville Nissan.

My daughter read dealer reviews on the internet after her Nissan broke down and decided to have it towed to Ron Tonkin. That was a good decision because the staff there are very pleasant to deal with, especially Bill and Scott Wendell. Scott took the time to provide advice on possible courses of action to follow regarding the car. It's great when someone shows concern and goes out of his way to give you ideas as to how you might proceed in a difficult situation.

Roberta met us at the door, introduced herself and asked how she could help us. She told us they didn't have the 3.5 Nissan Altima that we were looking for on their lot but immediately began to search for the car we wanted to buy. She took us for a test drive in a 2.5 Altima, but we still wanted to purchase the 3.5. She and the manager continued to search until they found a car that was acceptable for us. This was about 7:00 pm, and they had the car at the Wilsonville dealership ready for us at 5:00 pm the next day. Roberta went over the features of the car and how to operate them and connected our phone to the Bluetooth. When we tried to transfer the directory to Bluetooth, we were unsuccessful. We drove back to the dealership, and she attempted to transfer the phonebook. She found that our phone was not compatible with that feature, which was very helpful for us to know. We really appreciate the effort she and the manager made to find us just the car we wished to buy. We are very happy with our new Nissan Altima.

It's not something I particularly enjoy or would call a pleasant experience - right up there with getting a tooth pulled on my all-time list!This time was different. From the time of my initial phone call to check the availability of a vehicle on the weekend add to driving away in our new Frontier it was a very positive and hassle free experience. Everyone we met was courteous, friendly and helpful. In synopsis:1. When we arrived at the dealer, Tim had the vehicle we were interested in ready and waiting to test drive. He did an excellent job on describing the vehicle's features to us and factually answering any question we had.2. The evaluation of the vehicle we were trading in was handled in a fair and professional manner.3. While the paperwork was being prepared, he took the time to show us around the dealership and introduce us to the service and parts dept. managers - those we'll be relying on for maintenance of our new vehicle.4. Completion of the paperwork was timely and accurate, and we were on our way.In a time when the words "customer service" are so often and casually bandied about, in my opinion the folks at Wilsonville Nissan exemplify what it truly should be, and we would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

The company is very honest and often will go the extra mile to get us the best deal and interest rate they can. Of course they cant create miracles; so this will depend mostly on your credit score.Honestly, the only reason our payment might change is, if we have forgotten to, purchase something like gap insurance, an extended warranty or additional service plan. Rick was thorough, professional, respectful and very knowledgeable. Sean was there to make sure everything came together. There were no games played by anyone. John was the best Finance guy I've encountered in many, many years of car buying. I drove my new Xterra home. I don't care where you live in the greater Portland area. Maybe Beaverton is much closer. NO pressure to buy a higher priced model, and the price we got for the trade in was quite fair, given the work it would have needed for us to try to sell it. We recently purchased a Murano and received both excellent service and a great price. We visited several dealerships before Tonkin and Jay did the best job by far demonstrating the vehicle's features. That demonstration definitely sold us on the Nissan compared to the others. Everyone was friendly and professional, and there was absolutely no pressure put on us to purchase the car or the upgrades (although they were presented to us). The dealership itself is spotlessly clean and modern (unlike others we visited), plus it was nicely stocked with free beverages and snacks. We love Tonkin Wilsonville and would recommend them to anyone.

Lying ###'s! Lied about the payments, lied about how much they would have to put into my trade to be able to sell it. Cost me over $200 in gas and a day off work just to go there and get screwed. Will never deal with Tonkin dealerships. Avoid David Moore if you are dumb enough to go there.

I took my 2008 Frontier in for routine servicing at 45,000 miles. Upon inspection the mechanic found a defective u-joint. Scott said the work would be covered under warranty, and then offered a free rental car due to the extra time the repair would take. There was no haggling or "hidden" charges, just courteous and professional service.Thanks again Wilsonville Nissan

As a 68 year young male I have bought my share of new cars - among many other things.And I would have to say this was far and away the best experience I have ever had. The open and friendly atmosphere would make me send all I know to this dealer and great saleman.

They took care to make sure every short detail of my requirements were met and I really liked it when they got my favorite color shipped from WA for me as was not in their stock.

When we first arrived at the dealership, one of several sales people approachd us before we exited our vehicle. I said to myself, here we go, typical car salesman and high pressure. I was pleasantly surprised when there were no high pressure tactics and we were treated with utmost respect. The salesperson that we talked with was Rick Gilpin. He was very friendly and professional. With the rebate program and the nice dealer discount, it made the purchase very easy. We didn't have to go through all of that senseless negotiating. For us it was a take it or leave it price and that made it easy. Everyone at the dealership that we talked to was very friendly and professional. If the service department turns out to be the same, then we will be very happy.

Overall my experience at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan was a good one. Although I felt that Jeff in Finance and Craig in Service provided really great customer service. Jeff did a great job going over all the finance/warranty options and explaining anything I didn't understand. I was able to talk to craig a mechanic and I really appreciate him taking the time to listen to me and address the few concerns I had upon purchasing the vehicle. Those two employees is what made me decide to give the customer service score a 5 on this review.

Rick at Tonkin Nissan was great! He really worked with us to get us the Juke SL we wanted, with a fair price for our trade. Even though it took us almost three months to commit, he was patient and honest. We had looked all over Oregon and Washington, and had contacted several other dealers before buying. After getting low-balled by some, and outright lied to by others, it was refreshing to work with Rick.I really feel like Rick and Tonkin Nissan valued our business, and while we have not yet gone in for service, the service department was IMMACULATE when we took our tour, and I must say I've never seen a cleaner restroom. :o)Jeff in finance was helpful and didn't waste our time and didn't talk down to us regarding our options. Usually the finance department is where you can have your worst experience when buying a car, but I was pleasantly surprised with Jeff's professionalism.Thanks, Rick, for getting me into my new Juke. We moved to the Beaverton, OR area from St. Charles, MO. We have always taken our Nissan Maxima to our local Nissan dealership for service, but the idea of starting over in a new city/state seemed a little intimidating. Would the service be as good? Would the service department be honest and dependable as what we were used to? The answer was that this dealership was even better than the one back home. There is a Nissan dealer closer to where we live, but I'd read some reviews I wasn't comfortable with, so we drive the extra miles to the Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan dealer gladly. For example, I was used to our old dealership rotating my tires every other oil change...even though the car gets less than 1,500 miles per every 3 months. Tonkin checks wear and only rotates if the tires actually need it. That's a small thing, but it shows they don't do unnecessary work just to make a few bucks more. The boots and/or bushings for the front struts are torn and are making noise. We had no idea what the noise was, so they checked it out for us, identified the problem and said it's not imperative to fix them at this point, unless the noise gets worse. In the meantime, they're keeping an eye on them for us and checked them out at every oil change. No pressure to do more than is needed. How many repair shops can say that?We highly recommend this service department for any Nissan owner. We haven't dealt with the sales department yet, but if they're even half as reputable as their service department, we'll be quite pleased.

Bill Rush and Jason Emery are beyond the best!! I locked my keys in the trunk of my M45 and, despite my best attempts, I was unable to get the trunk back open. I came to the Wilsonville Nissan service department after hours and Bill just happened to be there working late. I asked him about getting a new key cut and without a second thought he went to work helping me. He called back to the Parts Department a couple of times, but he was unable to get ahold of anybody. Then he proceeded to call the Parts Manager, Jason, on his cell phone. Jason was driving home, but when he heard that I was in need of a key he turned around and came back to the dealership. Bill, through some research, was able to find the key code for my Infiniti, and Jason cut me a brand new key without hesitation. Both Bill and Jason displayed the utmost professionalism and complete committment to customer service. My next car will definitely be purchased from Wilsonville Nissan. They have gained a customer for life.

1st off I did send in a positive review a cpl mos ago but at this point need to make a few corrections and suggests a cpl warnings:1) make sure they have the title for the vehicle you are buying !!We purchased our 2005 Titan on Dec 10, 2010 and are STILL waiting for plates. They did not have the title for this vehicle.2) if you find your vehicle via the internet, be sure to PRINT out the description and what it comes withWe found our 2005 Titan via the internet, went to dealership, loved the vehicle, bought it, got home and was re-reading the internet description and found that there was a cpl of things it should of had with it. a) 4 tie downs for the bed..imagine they weren't there, however Wilsonville did correct that as soon as it was brought to their attention.3) Be sure you have a MANUAL.Our 2005 Titan did not have a manual and it had alot of bells & whistles that we needed to become familiar with. Wilsonville did correct this when we brought it to their attention and sent us a manual.The other little thing which has never made sense to me is when you buy a NEW vehicle you get 2 keys/2 FOBs but if you buy a USED vehicle you get 1key/1 FOB..hmmmm makes me wonder what they do with the 2nd set..chg the chip in the key & re-program the FOB for their own vehicle or another vehicle or sell as new to make additional money...I believe dealerships should handle USED vehicles as if they were new..titles should be in their possession, manuals should be included, if you list the vehicle with accessories then be sure they are there. Don't be cheating the customer, its bad for business..

We drove over 3 hours to look at the truck we wanted and are very pleased with the vehicle, the extras of the red carpet treatment and the whole purchasing/financing thing. Each person we cam in contact with, sales, managers, and detailers geninuely were there to give us service! We found Ed Doran to be people orientated, people centered, concerned about what we wanted, and at no time was there the rushing around behind scences with the secret language of buying a used car. Ed was also proud of the Tonkin Wilsonveille name and company! Throughout the purchase process Ed introduced us to the people he works with (Sean/Sales Manager and Damian Lopez/Finance) other employees of the Tonkin Wilsonville team also came up to us to make sure we were doing fine! We will be back and we will also let our freinds and family know that it is well worth the time and effort to travel there. What also was impressive to us was they knew how to handle the finance for out of state sales tax carrying about the Oregon laws and Washington laws (way to know your stuff Damian)!Happy Sales Tonkin Wilsonville! To put it bluntly, I hate having to buy a new car. I always left with the feeling that I was the victim of a "con job", and that explains, in part, why I kept my old pickup for almost 19 years. However, I can say my recent experience at Wilsonville Nissan was not at all what I expected. Very low keyed, no presure and, most importantly, no sense that I was "conned".A nice group to work with.

Wish we'd come in on the weekend so everyone didn't feel rushed, since it got pretty late by the time we were done. Best price we found for the vehicle in the area. We test drove a Cube at another dealership, but Ed made sure that we test drove this particular car and became familiar and comfortable with it. I would say on the CVT, it's true that you don't feel it shift when you are excelerating because it doesn't. But, you definitely feel it shift when you are coming to a stop. So, explaining that differently would probably prepare people for how it functions better than to say you just don't feel it shift. I, personally, do not care for pressure in the sales process. That's part of why we bought at Wilsonville, from Ed. We test drove some vehicles there and returned after looking at other vehicles in other places. The staff was friendly and fair and didn't pressure us too much. Pretty much none at all is too much for me. So, for me, having my business is the review that is needed. Continuing to give good service, without too much pressure, will keep me coming back. Also, the finance manager, Damien, was great to work with.

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE - always friendly and informative; this group never makes me feel like they are "doing me a favor" by helping me - they actually seem to care that my vehicle is serviced to my satisfaction. I recently had a dead lamp in my headlight - Bill and Scott jumped right in and had the replacement bulbs in place before I even finished paying for the part. Needless to say there was no "service charge", just a quick handshake and a "thanks for your business" and I was on my way. There is a dealership closer to my home (Beaverton Nissan), but candidly - they are a terrible outfit and don't hold a candle to the EXCEPTIONAL team at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan.

Definetely 5-Star treatment. Tim Wright was great. We decided late on a Friday afternoon that we had found the perfect car for our daughter and with Tim and Sean Alderman's help we were able to pick up the car on Monday afternoon. Ed Doran was great to work with. Easy going, and low pressure. We had originally planned to trade in our vehicle as part of the purchase. We decided to go another direction with our trade after recieving what we felt was an extremely "low ball" offer. A little too much pressure was put on us at that point to keep that trade in as part of the deal. It was obvious that dealership "sales games" were being played with regards to our trade-in, something neither my wife or I appreciated.The paperwork signing and financing was professional and quick.We did have a minor maintenance item that popped up a day after we purchased, that was taken care of by the dealership quickly and professionally. Ed Doran and a sales manager went out of their way to personally drop off our car after maintenance to our home. Very much appreciated.

Rated quality of work a 4 since the temporary plates were not on the car when I received it, so I couldn't drive the vehicle until a few days later. In addition, It appeared that the car had not been washed before it was delivered. Aside from those minor issues, the experience was great and the dealership did very well.

WOW! I am the first person to say that I hate buying a car. Let's face it, you do the research and then start looking around lots when the salesmen are not around because you're just tired of going to a place during business hours and either being pushed and hounded, or, you get completely ignored. People make the difference, and, Rick Gilpin at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan really impressed our family - BIG TIME! In a nutshell, he just strikes the right balance of everything. He's affable, friendly, and personable. You never feel like your being sold or hustled. It was great to have someone ask us not only what we wanted and take our responses to heart, but also find a vehicle that provided everything that we were looking for an in our budget. Other than my motorcycles, I have NEVER bought a foreign made vehicle before. I've always stuck with Dodge and Chevy. Clearly, Rick makes me wonder if I have been short changing myself all this time. He gave us choices and options; but never tried to impose anything on us. He was forthright in his replies. Generally the word honesty and integrity don't come to mind when thinking of a car sales person; but, clearly this dealership has found the needle in the haystack. I would recommend anyone to this dealership, hands down with no regrets or wondering if I steered someone in the right direction. I have never been able to walk away from buying a car and find it to be an enjoyable experience; but, Rick sure made it that way. By the way, we ended up buying an Xterra and we and our two Labrador Retrievers, Teddy and Oso, love it!

First let me apologize to Rick and his staff for not doing this sooner but health issues have limited my time. When my wife suggested buying a new car the thought of having my one of my teeth pulled came to mind. What we experienced prior to my going to Wilsonville Nissan was just short of that. We had a car in our driveway and a bad taste in our mouth. We went to Wilsonville because my best friend from Eugene did the same and was delighted at the result. We were greeted at the door by Rick Gilpan upon our arrival. His demeanor was such that you felt comfortable. I did not tell him of our experience at first to see what he would do. In the time we spent there, we knew what the different options were in each vehicle the pro's and con's, we met the staff who would be interacting with us, the sales manager, Bruce, Bryce the Finance manager, Bill in service. Looking at the service bays one could eat off the floor. Quality throughout.My wife is very happy with the new Nissan Murano and will probably buy again from these wonderful folks. Just for FYI, Rick calls and checks on the health issues facing us and I truly believe he is concerned and not because we baought a car.

From our first contact with this dealer, several months ago, until we decided to purchase Ed and his predecessor made the experience very enjoyable. I would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a new or used car. I have purchased several cars over the years with less than desirable experiences (pushy salesman, ambiguous financing, inflated pricing, ect). These people are straight forward, friendly, and knowledgeable. After walking out of a popular dealership that would not give me a straightforward price on a car, I called them up and received a quote over the phone. Still uncertain of the quote, which was way below the competition, I made my way there only to find myself purchasing a car at the quoted price. I never do these ratings though wanted to express how genuinely impressed I am with the way this company does business. I only wish I didn't waste so much time at other dealers before coming to this one.

I can't say enough good things about my years of experience with the Service Department at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan, and specifically with their Service Director, Bill Rush. I have had my vehicle, my 3rd Nissan 300zx, serviced at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan since it first opened. I relocated here from out of state, and at that time, the only Nissan dealership within my area was Beaverton Nissan. After MULTIPLE horrifying, and dangerous, experiences there, I began to look for another Nissan dealership to service "my baby," as I refused to EVER return to Beaverton Nissan.I was pleased when Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan opened, but was reluctant and skeptical, after the horrible experiences with Beaverton Nissan. I worried that this was typical treatment for Nissan dealerships here in Oregon. But since it was important to me to have my vehicle dealer-serviced, I decided to take a chance. And I am SO glad I did.Having been in the customer service field for my entire career, I am especially particular when it comes to my car. Bill Rush is absolutely the epitome of what you hope for in a service department manager. And that highest level of quality is a requirement for all of Bill's staff. Bill and his team are beyond professional, courteous, and friendly. To say Bill has gone out of his way to help me is an understatement, to say the least. After dealing with more than a handful of closers in your industry over the years, I'm pleased to say that Mr. Alderman was by far the best yet. He brought a very personal touch to the experience and didin't seem pushy. Sean's knowledge base was extensive. However, he wasn't over-powering with auto-jargon. We found the dealership in Wilsonville to be hospitable, clean and professionally maintained. The new Salesperson, Robert, and the Finance Mgr., Bryce, rounded out a positive experience quite nicely.

From the minute we walked in, we were treated very well and felt at ease with the salespeople and other employees. No car dealership has amazingly cheap prices, but their offers were very great. We left with some estimates, and felt no pressure from them to buy; they only gave us all of the information they could on what vehicles we were interested in, and made suggestions and reccomendations. We came back a few hours later and bought from them due to their amazing customer service, and of course, because of the prices/quality they offered us. I'd say the only down side to the whole experience was A: the freezing-cold weather which made it hard to look around as much as we wanted to, and B: our inability to decide on which car to buy from them- they treated us that well. I know if we have to buy another car, we are certainly going to them FIRST!

Here comes a double-edged sword. THE GOOD (only because of ONE person): My husband and I had an *amazing* experience with a NEW sales employee (if you do go to this dealership, look for ED DORAN, he deserves your business!!) who was the best "salesman" we've ever had the pleasure to meet. He was down to earth, honest, and did NOT play games which most sales staff members are guilty of. He is amazing and I wish we could've given him our business.THE BAD (talk about shady work): Though my husband and I don't have the best credit, we still decided to apply for financing for a Nissan Armada to help support our growing family. After test-driving the vehicle and spending a lot of time talking it over with Ed Doran, we decided to take a leap and fill out the application. Now, we've done this application at about 5 dealerships over the last 1-2 years. I know the way it works. After taking the application from us, the manager spent a good half hour (at least) working on it. Then he came over to us, and without explaining ANYTHING, said it would probably be another 15 minutes. He went back to his corner with one of the financing guys and while Ed Doran did his very best to keep us occupied (and distracted, as it was embarrassing enough to see the application taking so long) it began to be ridiculous. A full 45-60 minutes passed before even Mr. Doran could no longer take the lengthiness. He went over to check on what was going on and reported how we were told it would only be about 15 minutes. With accusation in his voice, the financing employee growled to him, "THAT'S why we DON'T ever give them a TIMELINE." Then why did the manager of the whole dang place do it? And why was the best employee in the facility receiving heat for it? He came back over and didn't complain about the altercation, just explained it would be a little longer and tried to get us to have some water or tea. Finally, the manager came over to explain that my credit score was lower than I thought and so it was taking them a while to negotiate with the bank. Fair enough, right? Well, multiple hours into the evening, we were finally told it wasn't possible to get the loan we wanted with the terms we needed unless we chose a less expensive vehicle. So with our heads hung low, our tails tucked between our legs, we apologized to the ever gracious Ed Doran for wasting his time. He told us not to worry and that he enjoyed every moment; he said otherwise he would've just been sitting around and he was glad we stuck with the car we wanted and didn't change our minds just to get a loan and a car THAT day. All in all, we felt it was a positive experience, even with the lack of communication from the manager and his financing staff.A few days later, I renewed my credit report tracker.... only to find we had not 1, not 2, not 5.......... but 9 (read it - NINE) auto loan applications/inquiries from the single day we spent at the dealership!!! NINE?!? The manager or financing staff couldn't even TELL us that the first, second, or even third company wouldn't finance us... they had to run us through 9 freaking companies? I find this unprofessional, unethical, shady, and downright WRONG. For a small family trying to make it in this recession, nine inquiries was undeniably ridiculous... we didn't need to have THAT car, THAT day, THAT badly. It's very unfortunate because now we are looking for less expensive vehicleS (multiple) and we can afford to purchase them.... and would love to give Ed Doran our business. But the dishonesty of the dealership as a whole (without Mr. Doran's name dragged through this, as he was oblivious to what was happening) is sickening and not worth wasting your time and feelings over. My credit score was slowly climbing and we had big plans for the next year or two as far as possibly even buying a home, but after nine full inquiries my credit score understandably CRASHED and BURNED. I am still shocked and appalled by the snake-like ways used over us this day. We may be young, we may be hopeful, but don't misuse and mistreat our trust and lives in this manner. GREASY AND GREEDY.

We had by far the best car buying experience with these gentlemen. I felt like they were honest business men, almost to apoint where you'd wanna invite them over for dinner. They werent trying to "sell" me a car, they were trying to satisfy my needs and wants in a vehicle. Ed found the exact color car I wanted and got the price of my dreams. I have already recommended them to two family members looking to buy new cars, and I extend that remmendation to you.

I thought the team was professional, extremely friendly, and knowledgeable. Ed (Our Salesman) really listened to our needs and truly understood what we needed in our next car. He also handled the whole sale transaction absolutely hassle free. Sean (Sales Manager) was very friendly and efficient and that also made us comfortable throughout the whole process. I want to also acknowledge Jay for being a great communicator; he was able to call me and invite me in just in time before I headed to Alaska and had the right car to show me. All personnel went to great lengths to meet our needs. They were patient, cheerful, and knowledgeable. We completed our transactions with all loose ends taken care of. We are completely satisfied.I wonder whether we might have saved $$$ by trading in the Titan on the Frontier purchase, but the way we handled it was our fault. But the dealership covered some other items which we would have had to pay for, so they were generous in that respect.

I especially appreciated how carefully the staff listened to my description of my lifestyle and my needs. They helped me identify the right car for me and gave me just the information I needed. I had my questions answered--but I was not inundated with details that I did not want. And the late evening drive home in my new car with the old one driven by the staff was special. I came in searching and left with the car I wanted. Driving in to Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan was the best Christmas gift I have ever given myself!

From the minute I drove in to your service department, I was immediately greeted. Everyone was great, the service and dealership were so clean, friendly and very helpful. I have been to many other Nissan dealerships but, not like this one. I just went in there for an oil change for my 2008 Nissan Armada and they found my tensioner and belt were going bad plus my right strut was leaking. They fixed it all without any questions! It ws a dark and stormy night -- no really, it was. The last thing I wanted to do was look at more cars, but a friend insisted. Jay Palacio appeared and in short order was driving us by cars in the lot to see what I might like -- jumping out in the pouring rain while we remained dry to examine window tags for features, etc. Then magically, he brought into the dry garage a car that matched everything that appealed to me -- from color, to features -- it was like he was reading my mind. He proceeded to show me things such as safety features that other dealers had glossed over or failed to mention entirely. A first-time car buyer, I took my time and the process proceeded over several days (including an adventure at another dealership -- rhymes with Gladstone Nissan -- where, upon my arrival, a promised-in-writing blue hatchback with bluetooth magically transformed into a beige sedan with no accessories, for $3,000 more than promised! Jay had tried to warn me, but what can I say, we had it in writing...). Back to a very gracious and HONEST Jay, who showed great help and patience. Only after we closed the deal well after 10:00 p.m. (a very pleasant experience with Bryce Gehlen working the financing), did I find out from my friend that she had overheard that Jay was supposed to have been home at 5:00 that night. He showed similar patience by spending even more time with me when I picked up the car to make sure I knew how each of the features worked, then called a couple of days later to make sure everything was going well. To me the mark of excellent service is what happens "after they have the sale." Needless to say, I've already recommended the dealership, and particularly Jay, to several friends. I live downtown, but plan to make the trek out to Wilsonville for servicing -- I need to deal with someone I can trust in a warm and friendly environment.

After much searching on the internet, and test driving multiple vehicles, we found a used vehicle we felt might fit our needs at Wilsonville Nissan. From the moment we stepped onto the lot, it was an easy and friendly experience. Much different than we received in other dealerships. We felt the staff at this dealership were all truly working DELIGENTLY TO HELP US MEET OUR GOALS. They asked about, listened to, and cared about helping us reach our desired goal. Other dealerships tried to talk us into changing our plans. In the end we traded in a very well cared for minivan, that the only reason we were trading it in was to remove a car payment, for another well cared for vehicle that was reasonably priced. Voila - we now have one less car payment in our lives and a car that we can be as proud of owing as we were of our van. I thank each person involved for an experience that we truly appreciated. We have already recommended to friends and family that they use this dealership for their future needs. We hope to use their services again ourselves! THANKS to all the staff that worked with us!

After a bad experience at BEAVERTON NISSAN we went to Wilsonville Nissan to look for a new truck. Jay Palacio was our first contact. Jay was very friendly and listened to our needs and wants. Jay was understanding and took us to the trucks on the lot and explained the difference of the frontier in the 2010's and the 2011's.Jay had a lot of information and shared this with us. Jay was a breath of fresh air after our earlier experience. Sean and Jay had been very helpful about the information that was presented to us. They broke everything down to ensure that we were not being misled in financing or in the total cost of the truck. Sean was very helpful explaining where the warranties and rebates fell pointing out the difference with the marked prince and the dealers addendum. Damien helped with the overall what type of warranty to add such as the service packets. He explained the big picture of what would be a good idea and what would best fit our needs as repairs and such. Over all our experience with Wilsonville Nissan was informational, helpful and understanding of what we were looking to purchase. I am very happy we stopped in. Oh one more thing they still owe me a Nissan hat " wink". I will recommend your dealership to anyone that asked or does not ask about our new truck.

Dealing with Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan in purchasing our 2010 Murano was by far our best experience. Hendrix Numako was helpful, warm and appreciative of our business. We felt more like good friends than salesman/customer. He and my husband talked by phone alot and Hendrix new exactly what we were looking for. As soon as this vehicle was delivered he sent a video of it to us with a list of everything it had. We had no luck finding the exact vehicle we wanted close to home and didn't hesitate to travel to Wilsonville to buy. We live about 230 miles away. Hendrix came in on his day off to work with us, greeted us as soon as we pulled into to their parking lot and made us feel right at home. Hendrix was knowledgeable and fun to work with. We also had great experiences with Jason in Parts, and Damian in Finance. Maintenance was great too, I feel bad because I didn't get their names. The General Manager even stopped to thank us for our business. When we left after saying alot of goodbyes and thank yous, we got a few blocks away and realized we forgot something there. When we went back Ron Tonkin had just stopped in and took the time to shake hands and thank us for our business as well. We wish we could go there for all our maintenance, but live too far away. We plan to schedule any whenever we travel to that area.

Of the dealers that I visited (Ford, Nissan, Toyota), the Tonkin staff were hands down the most respectful, honest and pleasant to work with.Some dealers were unhelpful or rude during my first visit when I was clear that I was not buying a car that day. The Tonkin staff on the other hand understood and treated me me great. The bottom line price was clear up front without haggling.Two areas that could use improvement:1) The time it took to close the deal and complete the transaction was too long - my guess is that it was around 90 minutes. There is no reason why this could not happen in 30 minutes or less.2) I'm not a big fan of being subjected to a sales pitch for numerous options from the finance staff. This should be dealt with by the salesperson and finance should just be there to sign the loan paperwork. While a few of the options were discussed earlier, there were a few that had not.

I am very satisfied with my purchase from Tonkin Wilsonville, not only that, but also with the friendliness of the salesmen and supervisors. They were very thorough with the car's options and they made sure I knew how to operate it correctly and safely. They were also very thorough with the process of purchase. They gave me straight forward information and deals and were honest with the payment and tried as much as they can to satisfy the customer. The salesman, Ed Doran, was very detailed when it came to any inquiries I had. They all made sure what I was buying was suitable for me and made sure everything was perfect! No high pressure tactics from anyone and this was especially refreshing. They want you to understand what you are getting and be comfortable with the deal. I stopped in on a Sunday to test drive an Altima 3.5 SR V6.There were no 3.5 SR's on the lot but Ed Doran said he would check other dealers.Ed got back to me the next day with a quote on a 2010 3.5 SR at another dealership.The price was lower than what Consumer Reports said was the lowest price you could expect to bargain down to.Based on the price and the great ratings by Consumer Reports I told Ed to order the car from the other dealer.Ed had the car ready for me to pick up on Tuesday night.I usually don't buy extended warranties on cars, electronics and appliances, but Damian the F&I guy had me buying a Nissan Gold Preferred 7 year/70,000 mile extended warranty at a very reasonable price.I am very happy with my 3.5 SR and a family member is happy to be driving my old car, a 2003 Altima 2.5S.Ed Doran did a great job getting me the car I wanted at a very good price.

I have to express my surprising and even pleasurable experience when looking for our new Titan. In the past I have had very stressful, negative and even manipulative experiences with other car dealerships. So, I was pleasantly surprised when Rick and other Wilsonville Nissan employees were so helpful and accommodating when we did decide to get our new Titan. I did not feel ANY pressure or ANY "game-playing" and we felt that we got exactly the vehicle that we wanted: and then some. So when I went to Wilsonville Nissan I wasn't thinking I was going to find a car I liked for a reasonable price or that I was going to be treated as nicely as I was treated. I just purchased my first new car from Wilsonville Nissan and it was the best experience I've had working with anyone in the car industry. I searched all over Portland and worked with a handful of dealers. I had horrible experiences with pushy finance managers, salesman who didn't take the time to explain anything to me, people who overall gave me the impression that I was wasting their time. I came to Wilsonville Nissan because they had the best deal. I lucked out because they also ended up having the nicest staff, most informative salespeople, and just an overall welcoming atmosphere.I have never owned a Nissan, but I'm hoping to keep my new Rogue for many many years -- and I think Wilsonville has made a Nissan customer out of me because of their great service.Highly recommended. We came in to look for a used Murano you had on the lot and our salesperson Hendrix who greeted us was very professional and friendly. We felt very comfortable dealing with him and he help us get all the information we needed to be informed on the vehicle we were looking for. The only reason we didn't purchase at this time was because the vehicle we came in on was sold and there were not any others we liked at this time. We are still in contact with Hendrix and he will let us know if you get another one in and we will come look again. We are not in any hurry to purchase a vehicle because we want the right one for us. The overall experience was one I will never forget, from the incredibly clean, well maintained dealership and lot to getting to know a fantastic salesman/now friend named Aaron, I wondered to myself "is it possible to just come by sometime and hang out?" We had a bad experience at the Gladstone Nissan, so we weren't even considering buying a car when we walked into Wilsonville to look at their selection. We had such the opposite experience versus Gladstone, though, that we ended up buying from them that night. The folks at Wilsonville aren't the high-strung, stereotypical car salesmen. Kevin, the internet sales manager we dealt with, was extremely professional, didn't rush us and stayed two hours past his end time for the day. Their service department, while we obviously haven't used yet, looks immaculate. My home doesn't even look this clean! I feel like we got a fair, good deal and that's how you should feel about buying a big purchase like a car. We weren't pushed into anything, and we weren't tricked into anything (see my review of Gladstone!).

We researched our purchase for an SUV at 5 different dealers - Nissan, Lexus, Acura, Toyota and Infinity. Based on the having the best 'relative' value, we decided on the Nissan Murano - Tonkin Nissan had the best deal. Jay Palacio helped us and created a great buying experience. I hate car buying, but acutally had a good time with the guy! He knew we were 'educated' buyers after researching the different brands and he didn't try and sell us on something we didn't want. He also made sure my wife was very comfortable with the car before we left the dealer. Great job Jay!

Wilsonville Nissan is A+++.I've driven in unannounced on two occasions and received the same great service. What a great group at Wilsonville!!I purchased my 350Z at the Beaverton location, and will never go back especially due to the finance manager who was the epitome of a low life sleaze bag. Because my choice of Z's was not on the lot, I was promised my new car in 2 days. It came from Seattle with 200 miles on it. Not funny! Wilsonville Nissan is best, and so is my car!!

Thank you to Rick Gilpin and Ed Doran for a pleasant, non-painful morning, as I shopped for a more appropriate vehicle. Ed was introduced as "in the process of being trained" but very quickly earned his stripes by paying attention to detail and basically knowing what he was talking about. Rick was a no nonsense kind of guy, who laid everything out there on the table. The entire experience was no pressure. Once I made a decision regarding the process or the transaction, it was honored and respected without influence. Unlike other dealerships I have dealt with, once I left the business with my new car, I actually liked those guys. Do yourself a favor and shop where you will be treated right, at Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan.

Bill Rush has always gone above and beyond to exceed his client's expectations. He goes out of his way by making everything convenient for his clients. He leads by example and is a great leader for his team. His team greets every client at the door, opens the door and welcomes them by name. They are always prepared with your paperwork to just sign and will update you when your vehicle is being worked on. His mechanics looks for preventives to ensure you're prepared financially when the need arises. Bill has always let me know if something is a priority to repair/replace or if it can wait to get the full life out of any part. It's as easy as showing up and knowing everything has been taken care of without any worries. I have been extremely pleased with how reasonable and caring the Tonkin Nissan Wilsonville Service Team has been.

The salesman was great(Rick). I was happy with all the up front work he did. I saw a add in the paper showing the car was about 8,000.00 off MSRP and when I called to check on it I didn't really expect the car to still be available. Rick checked for me and told me the car was still available and if I wanted to come down and look at it they would pull it out and have it ready for a test drive. That was the case and later on that night my wife and I gave it a new home. I hate buying cars and expected the usual back and forth offers and counter offers. Not the case here. It was a no pressure encounter and not what I expected at all. Thanks for the pleasant experience. My wife looks forward to bringing it in for service and getting a manicure while she waits.

This is the place to buy a Nissan. You will not be "toyed" with or overcharged. One time, 4 years ago, my speakers were making a funny noise and the head of the department, Mr.Rush came to me with a handful of trailmix and told me that he had found the cause of the rattling noise in my speaker (it had been my careless snacking!). He didn't charge me and has even gone out of his way to offer me things that my car needs to help lessen the blow of maintenance bills. Scott is another impressive employee who has gone out of the way to get a rental car set up for me without waiting for me to request one (-and in so doing not wasting precious time on a particular day when my daughter had to be picked up in a hurry); he also has fixed my GPS system on the fly just to make my life less stressed. The environment is relaxed yet super efficient and they are able to figure out in a jiffy what is ailing my car and fix it in the most economical fashion possible. We have four different cars in our house, and it is the Nissan that I feel the safest in....this is very much do to the care it has received from this dealer.....

I went in for service on my 350Z. This dealer was the furthest from my home but I am digusted with the others. While waiting for my service I saw the 2010 370-Z's.....somehow I ended up buying one.Service: One main reason I used this shop was the professionalism I saw in the maintenance department(housekeeping is the truest indicator of a professional shop....this one is SPOTLESS!)Knowledge and honesty of parts and service make a shop second to none. Interaction and friendliness are critical.The sale; Aaron headed up the deal and was extremely knowledgeable. He worked with Shane to get close to a good deal (I had to show them how to get to a truly GREAT deal...hahahah!)....but they did. Scott from service is the owner of a 350Z and was knowledgeable of both models....he helped with the deal.Aaron was on his day off when we did the ;ast negotiations so I worked the last details with Bruce. Aaron came in to consumate the deal on his day off and introduced us to the car, stem to stern.I would and will recomend this dealer to any and all. The Wilsonville Nissan service department is WORLD ClASS. Tim Reese was friendly and informative. He worked me in on short notice. The work was done on time & on quote - no surprises. The facility is spacious and modern. My car is older and, other than oil & filter changes, has had little maintenance. - I asked if they'd check it over for other problems. They did - and the things they listed that should be done were exactly the things I feel quilty about ignoring. To quote the Terminator, "I'll be back".

My fiance and I recently purchased a new 2010 Titan. Rick Gilpin and the rest of the staff were amazing. I have purchased 5 cars before from dealerships and never received the level of customer service that I recieved at Tonkin Nissan. They did not try and push us into something we didnt want. I came in with expectations of what I wanted and what I might get. I was pleasantly suprised when they were able to get us into the truck we wanted, color we wanted and met our trade-in and montly payment requirements. It was the easiest car buying experience I have had or have heard of anyone having. I would definatley recommend checking them out to purchase your next car or truck. I look foward to going back and getting my Truck serviced there. I dont think I could ever go to a different dealership again after receiving that level of customer service.

Wilsonville Nissan's service department has serviced our Armanda, Infinity G35 and Hyundai Accent for several years now, and the service team has always been professional, courteous, and friendly. The service work done has alwasy been excellent, but the friendly atmosphere at the shop makes the difference in the decision on who to go for general maintenance or problems with our vehicles. Highly recommend this service team.

I have been having my Pathfinder serviced here for 5 years and they have done an excellent job. They take care to know me by name and make their service personalized. I went to Tonkin to have my 1991 Nissan pickup renovated (it had been garaged for a while, and I wanted to start driving it seriously again). I didn't want to go back to Beaverton Nissan, because I was tired of them trying to sell me another car rather than fixing the one I had. The web reviews were good for Tonkin, so I checked them out. I was delighted. The staff was immensely helpful. The car was completed quickly. The swap to the rental car was done effortlessly. Nobody tried to hardsell me another car. The old pickup was restored to full service, and I just exercised it with a fully loaded run back and forth to Seattle.

Just good people, they are professional, friendly, informative and above all honest, from the purchase to the continued service two years out!!In 27 years of living in the US this is without question the best dealership I have ever dealt with!

Our buying experience at Wilsonville Nissan was good. The sales people were very friendly and not at all pushy. Pricing was very reasonable without gimmics. If we refused an option during sales or finance the staff agreed and moved on. I would return to this dealer for my next purchase.

I've been going here for a year now. The service here is excellent and it's a client-friendly environment. They work hard at accommodating my schedule and they consistently go above and beyond. There is great communication and follow-up, and they provide an evaluation which gives you a heads up for what may need servicing in the future. No surprises down the road. I am new the the state and bought my vehicle used. When I had a repair issue, they followed up to ensure that my extended warranty was used to its fullest extent. I love bringing my car to Wilsonville Nissan, in fact, it's the only place I will bring my car for service. The techs always do a great job and are very detail oriented. I always appreciate the multi-point inspection to give me a heads up when service is coming up and to monitor how my breaks and tire tread is wearing - no big shockers when service is due. They have always been great at scheduling me with my busy hours and the loaner cars have saved me more than a few times. Great to have a place that remembers you and your car, can't say enough thanks!

I did not purchase our 2005 Murano at Ron Tonkin Wiolsonville Nissan - - although because of the excellent service that Wilsonville's Service Department has provided, I wish that I had (the next purchase will be from Wilsonville). The selling dealer's service department quoted me an exhorbitant dollar figure for initial service and so, I did a little comparrison shopping - - Ron Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan's quotation for the same service was considerably less. I made an appointment with them and cancelled my appointment with the selling dealership. When the selling dealership asked why, I told them that i thought there pricing was out of line - - they immediately offered to reduce their pricing by $400.00 (but were still higher than Tonkin's everyday published pricing).Since then, Ron Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan has done all of the work on our Murano. The quality of tyheir work is excellent - - never onece has there been a "be back" - - everything is done completely and correctly the first time. Theri pricing is always competitive, and considering the level of quality they deliver, a real value. Additionally, they work with our budget - - they watch over the car as if it were their own - - suggesting service that is needed and items to monitor and do in the future. They always offer shuttle service to my place of work and go out of their way to accommodate my needs (the service manager has personally driven me to work when i have been in earlier that the shuttle service starts). They always have been courteous and genuinely friendly - - I always have been treated as a "valued customer" which is refreeshing (and sadly all too rare these days).

Tonkin Wilsonville Nissan has been servicing all my cars for about 5 years. They earned my trust through by being honest, professional & friendly. They always accomodate my schedule. Scott Wendell is great, he even help me buy tires. My cars always leave there running better & clean, they wash your car too. I highly recommend them.

I love Wilsonville Nissan! I recently bought a 2008 Nissan Frontier and traded in my 2006 Nissan Frontier, and the service I had was excellent. I didn't feel pressured, and everyone from the sales department (especially Charles Cranston - my salesman) to the finance department made me feel right at home. Everyone made sure I had water, coffee, soda - pretty much anything I wanted! I felt comfortable, and well accommodated. The staff was lots of fun and easy to talk to - which made for an even better car shopping experience.In addition to a great sales department, the service department should be recognized as well. Before I upgraded my truck, I had service done on my 2006 Nissan Frontier and that was an excellent experience as well. The service center makes it easy to schedule an appointment, and all service was done in a timely and convenient manner.I would highly recommend Wilsonville Nissan to anyone that is searching for a new or used vehicle, or already has a Nissan that needs service. In fact, I've already made quite a few recommendations! This dealership is truly one-of-a-kind!
