Great experience with this dealership. They responded immediately to my inquiries, freely shared all cost changes and vehicle information. Derrick M was so helpful, had all the paperwork done and helped expedite the sales process. The car was cleaned and had a full tank of gas. I live 3 1/2 hour away and everything was ready for me when I arrived. Derrick even volunteered to come in on his day off to accommodate my schedule. Absolutely recommend Derrick and this dealership to purchase from.

Michael Word was incredibly nice and accommodating to me. I am truly blessed that I was able to find a sales associate to help me get the vehicle I wanted with such patience and grace. Mackenzie in finance also was incredible getting me the best finance rate possible. Michael and Mackenzie both stayed late to finish up the paperwork with me. Thank you both so much! Highly satisfied with Tom Wood Lexus! Thanks again Michael and Mackenzie 😊

Tom Wood Lexus is the best car buying experience I have ever had! Derrick helped me find what I want and everyone was so kind at the dealership and never pushy about purchasing like other dealerships. They were honest and upfront. They did all the paperwork and explained everything since this was my first time buying on my own. They detailed the car and I left completely satisfied with a new Lexus! I can’t recommend this dealership enough for their amazing customer service and family feel!

My husband, Bob, and I have been satisfied customers of Tom Wood Lexus for years. Personally, we have owned BMW’s, Mercedes through the years, but have never been as satisfied with a vehicle as we’ve been with the RX 350 we purchased in 2010. When I turned it in the fall of 2018, the odometer read 195,350. It was a fantastic car. I’m excited to have another RX! The individuals with whom I deal with when car needs service - Alexis Walters & Shanan Jackson - are fantastic! They are ready to assist, always. I could not be happier. I am a very satisfied customer, however, my RX 350 truly is a dream car for me. I love it!! Thank you to all Tom Wood personnel. You go above & beyond!!

Purchased a RX350 Fantastic experience... all the way round. Mike (sales person) was both professional and personable. Worked with me throughout the entire sales process. The dealership didn't have the interior color I was looking for... Mike quickly found what I was looking for at another dealer, and had it delivered to Tom Wood within a couple days. Great communications and follow up. I came back in, after a couple of days with the vehicle, and Steve did a fantastic job of walking me through the technology and safety functions. Transparent, up-front pricing, single sales person transaction. Excellent experience.

Great help from Betty in purchasing this vehicle. The technical support on getting used to the Navigation etc was great. The main showroom is being renovated and sales office is now in a temporary building.

Had my 2014 ISF for ~4 weeks and noticed condensation forming in both headlights. Dropped it off on the dealership on a Monday 8/22, they confirmed the issue on Tuesday and ordered new lights. Got the new lights installed and was told to come pick it up on Friday 8/26. No big deal yet (not sure what caused the headlight seals to suddenly be bad). Went to pick it up that Friday night (it is a 70 mile one way trip to my closest dealer), took a look and noticed a sizeable gap underneath both headlights between the headlight and bumper. Worse they scratched the paint protection film on the front bumper near the drivers side headlight (lot attendant came out with some polish and tried to polish it and just made it worse). Pointed out both of the issues and they said they would get it back in the shop (transferred to a new service advisor). Didn't call me back until Wed, states that they will have to remove and replace the paint protection film (that was evident on Friday), and that the headlights are installed just fine. I told them the bumper did not have that large gap when I brought the car in, and that it needed to be fixed. Said they would take a look. Here is where it gets even worse, the service advisor told me that it wouldn't be until Sept 12th at the earliest for me to get my car back. That's over 2 weeks from their mistakes being pointed out. I told them to update me often as to the status, and the dealer never called me I always had to call them. Checked on 9/1 and the statement was they hadn't done anything with bumper alignment yet and that they are still working on getting the adhesive off from the paint protection film. Made a surprise visit on Saturday 9/3 and the car was sitting outside covered in rain/construction dust with the paint protection film removed and bumper still not aligned. Expressed my frustration with the service advisor and his response was well its a big job it takes time. Yeah but youre not even working on itHe told me he would update again on Tuesday. I did not receive a call. Called and talked to him on Wed 9/7 and the story was the same, still not aligned, still no film. Called and left a voicemail for both service managers. One of the service managers calls me back late Thursday and says the bumper is aligned and they just need to put the film on. Says he can have his installer come in on Saturday to put the film on (and acts like this is going above and beyond) and it needs to cure for 48 hours to make sure it is ok. Expecting a call on Monday, no call. Left another voicemail. A third service advisor calls me on Tuesday (9/13, over three weeks it had been at the dealer for a headlight replacement...) and says it is ready to be picked up. So I pick it up Tuesday (again 70 miles one-way during rush hour), and of course the film installation is sub-par and worse than it was when I took the car into the dealer in the first place. Pointed out all of the debris under the film, etc and the service advisor agreed and said it would take a while before they could get it back in. So I took the car because I did not want it sitting outside the dealership collecting dust again. Also this dealership is under construction and they have no clean area to do film/tint, not sure why they would even try in the first place. Service advisor said he would get something on the installers schedule to fix it. It has now been two weeks and still nothing has been even scheduled. Will never go to this dealership again.

I bought a used car from them. It turns out that the car had aftermarket HID lights I wasn't informed about. After one of the lights went down (2 days after I bought the used car), I was charged to replace the aftermarket kit with factory lights and the warranty did not cover the replacement. I understand that aftermarket components are not covered by the extended warranty. However, it is their fault that they sold me faulty aftermarket HID light kit. They should have at least informed me that the car had aftermarket components. They sold the car as if it had factory HID lights.

This is the second time I have had to have my Lexus serviced under either a factory recall or a warranty issue. Both times I was greeted promptly, politely, and professionally. My repairs were done correctly and finished by the time promised. I was accomdated with excellent transportation while this last repair was being made. I had the overall impression of a well oiled machine. It seemed as though everyone had a job and there were the smallest delays as possible. To me Tom Wood Lexus is a stunning example of what customer service should be.

I purchased a 2014 Lexus is 250 from Lexus of Louisville (amazing dealership) Unfortunately, living in Indy the only service option is Tom Wood Lexus. I had to have the carpet replaced. My fiance was cleaning my car as he does every Saturday and a spot of carpet came up. We made an appointment and brought the vehicle in to have the carpet replaced. I received a call to come pick up the vehicle that it was ready. It was pouring rain and I had my child and a million things so I just signed the paperwork and left. That Saturday when David was cleaning my car he realized that where they had removed the seats to replace the carpet they had completely scratched up the door/kick plates (that may not be the proper terminology but its what I call them). We contacted Alex our service adviser and he asked us to bring the vehicle up to take a look at. Once we brought it up he apologized and said he would have it fixed. Fast forward a week and a few days later and we are told the vehicle is ready for pick up. This time my fiance went with me so he could look over the vehicle. On the drivers side kick plate it is supposed to clip in so it stays. It was hanging off and clearly broken. Alex looked at it and agreed that it was not right. He said they would order the part and it would take 2-3 days. He asked us to bring the vehicle back. At this point I was tired of the back and forth and said that no, I will stay in the loaner. The following morning I received a call that my car was ready. I thought this was odd because I was told this would take 2-3 days. We went to pick my vehicle up and my fiance checked the broken part and it was fixed. Perfect or so I thought. That Saturday he was cleaning my car again and realized that the passenger side did not snap in and was hanging off. They clearly had taken the parts from the passenger to fix the driver side. He contacted Alex who said he would order the part. Alex called us Thursday and told us to stop by the body shop anytime and they could fix the issue in a minute or two. We called Saturday to get the business hours. Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. we went to get the part fixed. When we arrived at the collision center as advised we were told that techs dont work on Saturdays. This was frustrating and Mike (I believe that was his name) told us he would see if the one person they had there could fix it. They went back to get the part and removed the broken part. They attempted and realized that the part they had wasnt even our part. They had no part to fix it. So now we are told that yet again we have to wait and come back. I have never had an experience like this previously but this has been completely frustrating. When purchasing a 2014 you do not expect things to be damaged or need fixed because of an issue that you didnt even create yourself. If the tech who installed the carpet had taken the proper steps and maybe covered the door area then this would not have happened.

My husband and I purchased a 2011 VW Tiguan from Tom Wood Lexus on May 25, 2013. The Tiguan had 45,000 miles at the time of purchase and had supposedly been recently serviced and in great condition. Less than one month later ( on June 22nd) we were on a trip to Colorado when we became stranded in the middle of Kansas. We were driving down the interstate when our Tiguan began to shake violently, so we pulled off at a gas station. We checked our tire pressure, thinking maybe we had a flat. But no, we had the opposite of a flat. 3 of our tires were inflated at 80 psi and one tire was at 50 psi! The recommended psi for our beloved Tiguan is 40 psi. Now, maybe we should have checked our tire pressure before we began our trip, but regardless... Tom Wood Lexus assured us that each vehicle is serviced before leaving the lot, and since we had owned out vehicle for less than one month we assumed our tire pressure would be fine... We thouhht it could ossibly a little low, but never dreamed it would be majorly overinflated! We tried letting air out of our tires to correct the psi, but it was too late. The car still shook violently when driven. We called a tow truck and the man advised us that the 3 tires that had been overinflated were "bent" which basically meant that they had been worn down unevenly because of being overinflated. They were ruined. We had to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership (20 miles away to a Toyots dealership because the nearest VW dealership was hundreda of miles away).Because it was a Saturday afternoon, we could not get an appointment until Monday, causing us to pay not only for towing but also for two nights in a hotel, not to mention delay our trip greatly. When Monday finally came, the Toyota dealership told us exactly what the towing man had told us. They said that we were lucky we didn't wreck because the three tires were all about to split. The 4th tire (which had been inflated to 50 psi) was beginning to do the same thing but not nearly as bad. We replaced all 4 tires, costing us over $1200 plus an extra two days of traveling. What a nightmare! But it doesn't end there.. As soon as we got back to Indiana we tried contacting Betty, the salesperson who had sold us the Tiguan. She was not in, so we were transferred to the service department who took down our name and number and told us that a manager would call us back. A week passed and no one called us back. We called again when our check engine light came on and this time I got to talk to Betty and tell her the whole story and how the manager had not called us back. Betty assures me that every car that leaves the lot is fully serviced and that having tires that were extremely overinflated was very strange, to which I FULLY agreed! She said she would get us a service appointment for the check engine issue and give us a call back about the tires and get us set up to talk to a manager. The service department called me back and had set up an appointment for me with Tom Wood VW. However, Betty nor a manager ever called us back. We feel that we have made plenty attempts at contacting the dealership and that our efforts have been completely ignored by both Betty the salesperson and the managers. This is not how a brand new customer should be treated! Not only were my husband and I extremely disappointed that we had to replace all four tires on our Tiguan after owning it for three weeks, but we were also extremely disappointed to be treated like our problems were not a concern to the dealership. We will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Tom Wood Lexus, and we will NEVER let them service another vehicle of ours... Especially our tires.

We always feel so welcome at Tom Woods and are greeted with smiles and handshakes. Brian takes care of us as quickly as possible and always wants to help us. We enjoy the TV area and warm and friendly atmosphere. Ed Schule is an excellent manager and always makes sure we are completely satisfied. We have bought many cars from Tina and always recommend her to our family and friends. They are also very happy with this dealership. We have been very satisfied customers for almost 30 years and know this dealership is one of the best in the U..S.Sunny and Dave Hoffman

My wife and I went in thinking about buying a new car. An upgrade from our Camry. We were browsing. But the car was so compelling, we bought it. We especially like the safety features, the comfort and the ride. Styling is elegant. It is half car, half computer which is just great. The salesman made a big difference for us. He was very factual, low key approach, and friendly manner. He made this do-able for us and we did it!

My ES 350 has been serviced at Tom Wood for the past two years. On each of those occasions I have been provided with a copy of the "World Class" Inspection report, except on this occasion. Also my copy of my online reservation, which I gave to the Service Representative, quoted the price for a oil change at $50, but I was charged $58. So why was the online price not honored?

I absolutely love the people at the Lexus dealership! They do everything possible to make any work that needs to be done on your car a pleasant and trouble-free experience. They are also very informative about your vehicle, it's upcoming anticipated needs, everything. There always little 'extras' that they provide at no cost to the customer which makes you feel special!

Bought a very well-maintained, used 2000 Lexus ES300 with 70,000 miles. This visit was for the 75k service interval. I had expected it to cost around $375. Tom Wood mailed me a 20% off service coupon. Upon arrival I asked Chris in service about the applicability and he agreed to honor the coupon. Was directed to a loaner ES300h (the h is for hybrid). Being a previous Prius owner, I was eager to evaluate how this Lexus hybrid performed. Very well. Got a call back from Chris, mid-service to let me know everything was going as planned and expected. Then another call letting me now it would be finished by our agree-upon time. Returned to the dealership and was greeted with my washed, and serviced ES300. We discussed the upcoming timing belt replacement as well. The dealership is located on a fairly busy secondary road, 96th Street near the very busy intersection with Keystone Avenue. This is a main thoroughfare for aggregate haulers, from a large quarry just East of the establishment. One would be wise to keep their distance behind the dump trucks due to this situation. Having been a previous Mercedes-Benz owner, I was a bit surprised to find a greasy fingerprint on my rearview mirror as I left the establishment. That is the smallest of nits to pick, I admit.

Bill and I were extremely impressed with the customer service, efficiency and overall experience with Charles Coriaty. I had been online looking for a luxury sedan to replace my Toyota Sequoia. I built what I thought I would like driving and sent a request to be notified. Charles responded and he was great to work with from the very first email. He found the vehicle I wanted to test drive and had it waiting for me when we could make it to Indianapolis two weeks later. He wasn't over-bearing...he gave us time to drive it and then privacy to talk about making the purchase. We couldn't have been more pleased. Despite the fact we live 2.5 hours away, we will definitely work with Charles again when we are ready for another Lexus...I couldn't imagine having any other brand of car. Thank you!

I took my LS 430 in for the 115K mile service. While there 2 broken struts were discovered requiring the replacement of all 4 at an estimated cost of $6600. Mike Rice was great to work with. He explained the situation very clearly as to what the problem was, why all 4 had to be replaced, why the parts were so expensive, et al. He promptly ordered the parts and kept me informed. During the repair an air line connection was damaged which was covered by service policy without me ever questioning it. This caused the repair to take longer as parts had to be obtained, but I was kept informed and had a 2013 Lexus loaner, so I wasn't inconvenienced at all. Although this repair was VERY expensive, I was totally pleased with how I was treated. There is no doubt in my mind that the repair needed to be done as the car now handles and rides significantly better. In an unrelated incident the next day after picking the car, I had to jump the car to get it started. In so doing I noticed I lost the navigation system, HVAC, radio and Bluetooth. I checked the owners manual for the location of the fuse box as I was hoping this was the problem. When I saw there was not a single box, but several, I felt I needed help and called Mike Rice. It was Thursday around 5 pm. He said they were open 'til 8 and I could bring it right in then, Friday or Saturday...whichever worked best for me. I took it right in. He greeted me and got right on it. I guess I was there 45 minutes or so. They found and replaced several blown fuses in 3 different fuse boxes. Mike explained one of the blown fuses controlled the air compressor that supplied air to the struts that had just been replaced the previous day. He said they test drove the car to make sure the suspension system was working properly. I'm quite certain that had I tried to find and replace all these fuses, I would have gotten very frustrated and likely wold not have ever discovered the air compressor fuse issue. When Mike came back and said the car was ready to go, I asked him what I owed. He handed me a zero balance invoice and said I owed nothing. This was done as a Courtney to show Tom Wood Lexus appreciates my business. WOW!!

I went to Tom Wood Lexus to review the potential for buying an Rx 350 -- upon entering the building I was greeted by Charles Coriaty and he explained how we would go about the review. He explained all features of each vehicle and I selected one that I liked but was not sure that it was affordable for me -- I explained to Charles what my target purchase price was for that vehicle as well as, what I needed to receive for my trade in. Charles was very professional and proactive and did not engage in the typical barter system that can sometimes make buying a car somewhat intimidating. He was able to assure me of the value of the car I wanted and worked very diligently to meet my financial objective. The team at Tom Wood Lexus even went to the extent to find a buyer for my trade-in within an hour in order to provide me the maximum trade-in allowance. This was not a typical car buying experience for me -- it was exceptional -- needless to say I drove my new Lexus home and and their sales team met my financial objectives including my targeted monthly loan payment.I went in for a review and was prepared to go home without a vehicle -- the sales approach that Charles used pleased me and I drove a car homeThanks, Tom N

I test drove a Lexus 350 at Tom Wood a few months back. Prior to coming in I sent an email inquiring on the vehicle. The vehicle had been involved in damage and I asked for documentation. My request was not followed up with, nor did I hear back from the sales person. I also didn't feel the individual was trying to embrace me as a customer. This is the only Lexus dealer in Indianapolis so if I ever choose to buy one, it won't be from here.

Wow! I got the worst salesman I have ever delt with! I have never had a salesman not try to sell me a car. He actually wanted me to leave. When asking to look at my current Lexus a 2004 w/ 86k on it. He said it had high miles (10.7k a year) and offered me 10k less than than KBB trade-in value. I wonder if Lexus knows how terrible this dealership is. I am married to a car guy who normally does the car deals for the family but when I told him I was going to buy a Hybrid he elected not to tag along. When I told him about my experience he was livid. He called the dealership 2x a couldnt even get an answer to voice a complaint. He said were done with Lexus! Its unfortunate because after driving Mercedes, BMW, Jags, Land Rover and Porsche the Lexus is the most reliable... I guess thats so your dont have to deal with the horrible dealer!

We live in Kentucky and had been looking for a Jaguar XK-8 on the internet for several months. We saw a 1-owner, low milage, 2003 XK-8 convertible listed on cars.com last November. We contacted the Tom Wood Lexus dealership in Indianapolis thru cars.com and scheduled a date to view and test drive the car. The salesman, Tim Goodman was a pleasure to work & deal with. The car's price included a 1-year warrantee - which sealed the deal. We contacted Tim again a few months later to obtain a copy of the car's inspection forms & service records from Tom Wood Jaguar. We received a copy of the records the next day. Thank you Tim Goodman and the Tom Wood's team for a great out-of-state purchasing experience. We love our Jaguar XK-8!

We are continually amazed to see how much this dealership (Tom Wood Lexus) charges for labor and parts. When compared to other Lexus dealerships in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky, they are without question the most expensive! One illustration is our recent inquiry for replacing a battery for my wife's 2007 Lexus ES350. She was quoted $250! I called 7 other Lexus dealerships within a two hour drive of Indianapolis in Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky to compare their costs to the quote we received from Tom Wood. They ranged from $168-$197. When I complained to Tom Wood's Service Mgr, he didn't initially offer to reduce the price (not surprisingly at all) until I told him that I had contacted other Lexus Dealerships to get quotes. When I gave him the quotes I had received, he was only mildly concerned that his quote was 22% higher than the next highest quote of $197! We decided to get the battery replaced somewhere else locally in Indianapolis. We had it changed at a local Toyota dealership (non Tom Wood owned) near by Tom Wood Lexus. The total cost was only $119 for the same battery, same warranty, same service, and we SAVED over 52%! Tom Wood may be the only Lexus Dealership in Indianapolis, but it certainly isn't the only place to go to get service and save a lot of money.

Their service department advised my wife the last two times she had her RX350 in for an oil change and tire rotation that the vehicle needed new front brake pads, cost approx $450. We decided to have the vehicle serviced at a Toyota dealership because in many cases they are the same parts, just less expensive. Their cost estimate approx $300. After waiting in the service area for a half hour, the technician came in and told my wife the front brake pads still had about 20,000 miles worth of wear on them, they do not need to be replaced. The dealership may be OK for purchasing a car, but their service is over-priced, and as we discovered, dishonest.

Shannan made sure that every issue including things I did not consider were addressed during my service visit. She is truly a professional who takes pride in her work. Her level of knowledge of my vehicles and her gentle way of explaining matters to me takes away all the nervousness about car maintenance and repairs. Tom Wood, and more specifically Shannan was the reason my wife and I bought our second Lexus because we knew Shannan would take care of all our needs and be honest with us. We are previously mercedes and acura owners, and we will remain Lexus owners as long as Shannan is our source to rely upon for information. My 2004 GX looks new, and more importantly drives new because she has overseen this vehicle for the most part since we purchased it at Tom Wood brand new.

Tom Wood Lexus would be the last place I buy a car from or take a car for service. They over charge for repair beyond what is recommended. They quoted me over $6400 to replace an engine, something I did for less than $2100 at another dealer. Beware...

BEWARE! They will replace parts incorrectly, and not fix them - claiming the customer responsible for the incorrect work, or better yet accusing the customer of wrecking the vehicle. DRIVE OUT OF STATE if you have to, but don't take your car to this spineless dealership! Management there won't even acknowledge your concerns - even if everything is properly documented.

Overall, I think the dealership will treat most people very well. I always dress down when shopping for a car, because I'd rather save a few bucks than be fawned all over. I had a hard time getting a Lexus saleman to offer to help me. As I walked toward them, they'd scurry away, repelled by my sweatshirt and jeans. If you dress down, then you can choose the salesman you want to work with rather than being approached by whoever wanders over, attracted by your nice suit and the dollars hanging out of your pockets. Jermal was very professional and treated me well even though it was "obvious" I wouldn't be paying sticker for a new car. He was the only one who approached me and offered to assist. I looked at used cars and I think the prices were good, especially when compared with what other dealerships were asking for other very similar cars. Ulimately the only reason I didn't buy was because of the fantastic incentives on the brand new cars at the time. Otherwise, the price would have been very good, with very little haggling. The finance guy was also very nice and up front about the price. I totally recommend.
