The service was excellent, I had been in before with same issues with my tire low pressure light coming on. The last time I was in talked to service assistance Dean who's help was excellent. He recommended that I get nitrogen put in the tires so the light would stop coming on when weather changed. The cost was set with no hidden agenda and also explained that if one had a hole in it they would fix with only additional charge of $20.00. The job was done within 45mins tops and mechanic Dustin explained what had been done. The staff and mechanic were very helpful and I thank them for finally having my experience at this dealership worth trying again.

I liked your prior Service manager and had got to know him. This time they did not reset my oil change light and I had to come back to the dealership to get it set. the service manager was to call me back about me automatic start which he did not do.

The service at the appointed time was good. I left the vehicle for service, returned, and only waited a few minutes before the vehicle was ready. However, the next day or so, my low tire pressure light came on. I checked the pressure in the tires. One tire had about 25 psi and the other three had about 27. When I took the vehicle in the morning, I was very disappointed when I was told, they wouldn't be able to take care of the vehicle then, that I could come back at 1 pm to get air in the tires. So I had to make a special trip back just to get air in the tires.

brought car into the shop for and oil change with a coupon and an appointment. The appointment was good, didn't take long, but when I went to pay, they didn't know that an additional charge of 10.50 for labor. Any other place I have gone for oil change labor is part of the cost, not added, so unfortunately I won't be going back, for the cost I can get it done for the same cost and they clean the inside of my car. So Jiffy Lube here I go.

I bought a Ford F-150 and absolutely love it. I have been a Chevy guy since birth, but am a Ford believer now. Great truck. My sales man Cris Carr was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the truck and got me a great price. The dealership owner was very nice as well. I was in a hurry and the finance guy, Jason, got me through all of the paperwork quickly so I didn't miss my anniversary dinner with my wife. A big thank you to the whole team.

The staff was very helpful and curtious. I called for an appointment for a 120,000 mile oil change and tire rotation on my 2010 F150 and was scheduled for the very next morning. The work was done in a very appropriate time.

I purchased a Focus Se in 2011 and love it. Jacob was the associate that took care of the oil change on my Focus on August 5th. He was very helpful and explained what items would be checked. He also helped me with the lights on the dashboard. Good job by Ford!

We purchased our Escape in March of this year, and have been so pleased, not only with the vehicle, but with the customer service at Thoroughbred Ford in Platte City, Mo. We just got our first oil change, which was complimentary, and were able to do the recall on our car at the same time. We got our appointment when we wanted and all was done in a timely manner and the staff could not have been more courteous or helpful. We definitely tell everyone how happy we are!

Thoroughbred Ford of Platte City is the only place I will take any of my vehicles for service. I have gone there for over 20 years, and they are always friendly, and communicate any problems that my vehicle has. I never have problems getting my vehicles in for service, and they do excellent work. The service department is immaculate, and mechanics are knowledgeable..

We scheduled an appointment to complete a Recall and oil change on our Fusion. They were ready when the car was dropped off. The work was completed when they estimated it would be that afternoon. They even washed the car when they were done. This is a continuation of the excellent care our vehicles get from our local Platte City Ford dealer and explains why we don't go anywhere else for car maintenance. Thanks guys.

We took our Ford Fusion up to the Service Dept and they had our recall parts available and so we hadthem do a oil change on top of the recall and it all worked out beautifully and they washed our car!Great service....we trust our car with them and always have. We've not always bought our car from Platte City Thoroughbred but we always get it taken care of there. We are a Ford family.Thanks guys and gals for all you do. Job well done.

I was in and out in about 30mins. Everyone was really warm and friendly. I usually go to the Quick Lube but will go to Thoroughbred Ford from now on.

We have purchased a 2009 Ford Fusion and 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid from Thoroughbred Ford, Platte City, MO. My brother came from Fort Riley to purchase a 2011 Ford Fiesta and is now driving it around Fort Wainwright, AK. This dealer is the best in the area. I ordered a new truck and was able to get exactly what I wanted. The pricing was fair and easy to live with. The salesman Jason kept me informed of the build process up to the delivery. The paper work and financing was done effortlessly. The final signing was carried out by the general manager so you knew you were getting the best person the dealership had to offer. I don't know why anyone would buy a car anywhere else

I received a recall for my 2004 F 150 for gas tank straps. I went to dealership to schedule repair. The straps fort vehicle were back ordered so I added my name to a call back list. I received a call about a week later that the straps were in and I scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. When I got to the dealership and pulled into the service bay the man there looked up my vehicle and said the straps weren't in. I asked if they weren't in why I received a call saying they were and scheduling the appointment? The mans response was what can I say? I asked of there was a delivery date and his response was "when ford sends them". That was completely inappropriate and unprofessional .

After using the internet for initial pricing of a 2010 Ford Escape, Thoroughbred Ford of Platte City, MO (just north of Kansas City, MO) had the best price. The salesman, Cliff O'Geay went the extra mile to get what I wanted in the car. He was up-front and honest with me in all regards; including the pricing. Highly recommend this salesman/dealer.
