I recently purchased a vehicle a 2012 Camry same make and model from a private party. I came here to search for a car for one of my family members. As soon as we got there we asked if they financed. The salesman said no. We asked to see the car anyways because we traveled far, but he treated us as if we didn't have money or we were wasting his time. We went to look at the car and he opened the car and then took off with the key, not even allowing us to test drive it. We came to find out the car was in worse condition then we thought. It had severe hail damage,dents and cracks on the bumper. I purchased one same make and model for less than 7k with only a 15k mile difference and way cleaner condition. They were asking 9500. Please don't fall in love with cars , bring a mechanic and have a good inspection done.

They have not filed paperwork with DMV to transfer car to my name. I will have to apply and pay for a bonded title. I have contacted an attorney and will pursue this legally. I will also notify the local media.

The used car dealership has a lot of cars to choose from; however, despite the fact that the salesman says he has a mechanic that he refers his cars to, you should have the car you want to buy checked out by the mechanic of your choice. The car we went to look at had a bad clutch, oil leak, coolant leak, and no A/C. We didn't care about the body damage, but the mechanicals would have cost an estimated $6000 to fix. You need to know what you're getting into, so buyer beware. Do your own due diligence, don't just rely on what the salesman tells you.
