BE WARE!!!! This dealership is the most dangerous to go to, they will lie to you and ruin your credit instantly!! My daughter went into this dealership to purchase a vehicle and they, they brain washed her into having them run a hard credit on her and myself. They literally knew that she cannot get the car period and that she could not be on the vehicle as an owner , I was only to be a co signer and I can’t say how many times I stressed while on the phone with all of them not to run my credit if she cannot get the vehicle. They knew that she cannot get the vehicle and still ran my credit trying to sell off their car in my name and they instantly lowered my credit score. The dealership scams need to stop!!! This is outrageous! POEPLE PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, you will leave without a car , a low credit score so you cannot get a car anywhere else, and very angry!! The best part they gave my daughter a letter supposedly to send to the credit bureaus, what they should have done was send it themselves to correct their scandalous mistake!! Again, I cannot stress it enough I have been done really dirty by this dealership!!! I dealt with Mr. Edwin Rodriguez on the phone, with my daughter, and I spoke to the manager Elijah, whom did not care at all , was very unprofessional , showed no compassion fir a client and I’m hoping and praying that all calls are recorded, and if they aren’t there is a way for a good lawyer to pull that call, people don’t know that any phone call can be traced! They will be hearing from my lawyer!!!! Disgusting and unprofessional whom just care to sell you that car no matter what the damage is to another person!

After thorough research as to what I wanted I got up enough courage to go ahead with the purchase. I must say that Doug erased any apprehension I came in with. I've had 2-3 significant repairs in as many months, and the service team was top-notched from start to finish. The young man that completes the intake process (Jose?) is well-mannered and always cheerful. Rishi and Nikki pick up the baton, bringing their own style of professionalism, knowledge and listening skills to ensure that your concerns and questions are addressed. Occasionally I get to speak with the mechanics and they, too, are friendly and competent. Teddy Volkswagen, you've got a superb team. Treat them right!

Just bought a 2016 Jetta. It was the best car buying experience ever . . . seriously. Most of the questions were addressed on line. When I walked into the dealership, it was EXACTLY what they said it would be out the door (including taxes, etc.). They sent me a copy of the sticker information and options. Not to state a cliche, but it was an amazing experience. Not sure why the dealership received any negative reviews, but have to admit that I was somewhat apprehensive after reading them. I am glad I overlooked them because my experience was extremely positive. So, I would suggest you bi-pass the negative reviews. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. One couldn't ask for more. I didn't get the usual car dealership bs ... I am so done with that! Have bought numerous cars, and never had such a good buying experience. Maybe this dealership is finally getting it and understands that most of us are turned off by the typical salesperson (or perhaps I was lucky to get Louis Fata as my salesperson). Whatever the case, I am ecstatic! I LOVE this car and would go back to this dealership in a nano second!

Do not get your car serviced here! I went in to get my Jetta checked and I should've known to walk right out this dump when I seen two mechanics argue and curse in front of me while I was as checking in, however my car had a bad anti-freeze smell and of course I wanted to not breathe in this hazardous odor so I decided to just brush that incident off. When I got my car back this dealership told me everything I was fixed. I had my boyfriend look at it again and he was shocked to see that they didn't fix a thing which would explain why I got my car back within an hour. I had warranty on my car and now know they didn't want to fix anything until my warranty was up so they could charge me. I scheduled another appointment to get my car looked at a second time, I had mentioned to the service department that I would need a loaner because I work. The service department told me that there are loaners available but he wouldn't be able give me a definite answer untilMy car was checked in order to see what the problem was and how long it would actually take. I brought my car in again and told the receptionist in checking in exactly what the issue was, and when i got the paperwork back I realized she didn't note the issue correctly., so I told her and she said she would tell them. I then asked her about the loaner which then she snapped back at me that she didn't have any available. Luckily the manager was there, so she asked him in front of me, and he told me because I DIDNT PURCHASE THE CAR FROM TEDDY VOLKSWAGON THAT WAS THE FIRST PROBLEM, and I am more than welcomed TO PAY OUT OF POCKET FOR THE LOANER AS A RENTAL. I quietly sat down in the waiting sea in disbelief, I decided to call other volkswagon dealerships to ask them if this is policy and sure enough it's not.....being upset and everything this dealership put me through I cancelled my service and very politely the receptionist have me my papers and keys. It's like they don't like servicing any cars under warranty because this dealership makes no money and like other reviews I read, they are cheap! They sent me free car washes because I told them about the arguing I seen the mechanics do, but they can keep their coupons. I won't ever be back there again. The manager is a con artist, and the receptionist is his side kick.They are not friendly and will not fix anything or makeYou wait hours if your under warranty. Save your time and money, and get serviced at OPEN ROAD! They treat you with respect and have EXCELLENT CUSTOMERSERVICE!!!!!! Ask forKEV! *****

I initially read these reviews and thought, this place can not be so bad. Everyone must be exaggerating, in other words I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I walked in, in hopes of getting a lease, and hence at fault - I had bad credit, they went through the entire process, charged me the down payment $1,000, signed the lease after 2.5 hours, Finance Manager, Kalra Paramjit came explaining my credit isn't high enough so I will need a co-signer. Of course, understandable but upset because I just spent 2.5 hours here with a cranky 19 month old and Kalra Paramjit had absolutely no respect on how to explain things, how to show appreciation for staying there for 2.5 hours. He explained "these things happen when you have bad credit" Excuse me but I've leased vehicles before, It's impossible to charge me for a down payment, sign a contract, get the car cleaned up for me and then leave empty handed. The following day- I had a co-signer whose credit was higher. As explained by my salesman Jason, he was "confident we can get the same deal but I wouldn't be able to stay on the lease otherwise premium would go up" fine, take me off the deal, get me the car. Arranged insurance, schedule time for co signer to sign paper work, I called Jason to confirm we are set and everything is ready to be signed, he confirms and asks me to go speak to Kalra Paramjit he just wants to over all the details as I will be the one driving the car. Due to traffic, I decided to call in instead, he began telling me all about how credit works, how leasing works and the bank (again, I have leased a car before) then asks me "So what are you going to do? Put more money down or would you like the monthly payments to go up?" Are you kidding me? I immediately asked for a refund.I have went to many dealers, and I can say this was the worse experience I have had anywhere. I feel terrible that Volkswagen is linked with these people.If you want to lease a Volkswagen, GO ELSEWHERE- otherwise, you are signing up for a big headache, and waste of time.

This dealership is terrible. I was looking for a Golf R (which are rare to find) and called this dealership to confirm that it had all the features I was looking for. When they did I took time out of my day to rush over and purchase the car, only to find out that they lied just to get me into the store. To make matters worse, they then tried to sell me the one they had on the floor, which had none of the criteria I was in the market for. Absurd practices at this place; been advising friends and family to stay away and buy from elsewhere. This happened over a month ago and yet they still call me to try and push the car on me!! When I say I have already bought one, they just hang up. Icing on the cake.

I gave this dealer a perfect rating of 5 stars 2 years ago when I got my new car from them. Their service was really excellent even until when I came back to them the year after to take my car for its yearly maintenance. Their staff was still the same at that time and they were very accommodating and polite and I truly liked their customer service. I came back for my car's annual maintenance just today and I could really say that their service took a drastic turn for the worst. The problem stemmed from them spotting a bubble on my tire which prompted me to buy a new tire so my car could pass the state inspection. They said that they have the tire currently in stock and it would cost $269 + tax. Naturally, I knew that I could get it cheaper (only $200) outside but I figured that I already waited 3 hours for them to finish the annual maintenance, Ill just get the tire from them so they could finish the state inspection as well. I waited for 30 mins when I saw them drive my car outside their service center. I thought it was done but after waiting another 15 minutes (no one informed me of what was going on), I asked where my car was. They told me that they took my car to another one of their service stations to replace the tire. I told them that the reason why I was willing to shell out the $69 more for the tire was because I thought they were the ones who are going to do it and also to save me the time of waiting at another shop again. After waiting for 1 hour, I went to one of their managers but I really got the impression that they do not have time for me. I was there from 8:45AM to 2:20PM this was just for the annual maintenance and for the state inspection. Never did I hear anyone - not from the staff nor from any of the many managers that they have in there an apology.Their current staff, in my honest opinion, gives the type of service like the ones in a cheap used car dealer. This does not feel like a Volkswagen dealer anymore.

I traveled a long way and spent almost three hours just to have my time wasted. I was trying to purchase a used 2102 MDX The finance manager did nit even have the professionalism or the courtesy to speak with me. The vehicle that I was shown was filthy,full of deep scratches, dents and scuffs, the interior was smelly and dirty, yet they did not seem to believe that all those deficiencies should have any bearing on the value/pricing of the vehicle, They were not willing to be fair and work with me regarding the pricing, despite them agreeing that vehicle needed body work In addition after running my credit or approval, they presented me with astronomical and unfair rates and monthly payments, and when I asked to look at the report I was given the run around, It is my legal right to be able to look at the credit report scores, yet I could not. They even went as far to claim that the listed internet price was a MISTAKE...so they couldnt and wouldnt go down or work with me. I went to SEVERAL ACURA DEALERSHIPS THEY HAD CERTIFIED VEHICLES ALL IN MINT CONDITION LOWER MILEAGE, LATER MODELS, ALL PRICED REASONABLY, YET TEDDY VOLKSWAGON WANTED THE SAME OR MORE FOR AN INFERIOR VEHICLE. OH AND THE FINANCE MANAGER ACTUALLY SPOKE TO ME AT THE OTHER DEALERSHIPS. I left feeling that they never wanted my business to begin with.

Be careful - these guys are liars. I called multiple times the day before and even an HOUR before my appointment asking if the car I was interested in was still in stock (only 1 available - deal sounded too good to be true, thus the multiple calls). They said yes. After making the 45 minute trek over, turns out the car had been delivered to someone else the day before - who knows how much earlier it sold. Then they tried to offer me a different car. What a waste of time. Should have listened to the other bad reviews.

Salesman Frank was by far the best and did a very good job taking us on our road test and going through every process in getting us into our Pre-certified 2012 Jetta. Even though it wasn't my first VW car, and as cold as it was that night, Delivery Team member William also did a good job in attempting to hook up my phone to my Bluetooth and also streaming it to the Bluetooth audio. He also explained the features of the car and I must say I was very appreciative. Great job Teddy Volkswagen and keep up the good work. Teddy Volkswagen is the worst car dealership you can deal with. I dealt with Frank Pina, he flat out lied to my face. We negotiated the lease of a VW Passat, we agreed on a monthly payment of $219 a month (including all taxes and fees in the payment), he knew that I had another offer from Bayside VW dealership, so he made sure I called and canceled that deal before he started preparing the paperwork, and to my surprise, he added taxes and fees on top of the agreed payment amount, so it's become $219 + $30 ($249), he said that I misunderstood him, yeah right ! , he's such a scammer. I just walked away without listening to him trying to renegotiate again. I won't deal with a dishonest person. Will never go back to Teddy VW, ever again. I went back to Bayside VW and got my car from them.

8/1/2014I purchased a vehicle while visiting family, and I do live out of state. After negotiating a price via phone a deposit was put on the car. Arrived in hopes of taking the car home, after riding four trains and over an hour commute and have everything agreed upon on paper in my email prior to my trip, to test drive the car and inspect the car......needless to say it was not in the condition as promised. They agreed to wet sand the car to take out some spots after four hours of my time at the dealership and another four trains home, for a total waste of six hours of my night! Returning two days later the car looked better, and was ensured that the "fix" would be guaranteed to solve the issue. Pre-approval of financing was already completed prior to my first trip, but another four hours to complete the transaction, after again taking four trains to return to the dealership. Another five hours of my time when I should have been out within an hour! I unfortunately wasted a total of 11 hours of my time to take the car home and find out I had a hole in my tire, the " fix" that was guaranteed has failed after two weeks, and the seals on the convertible leak! Love the car not the problems, but wish I wouldn't have purchased it from this dealership, as I believe my business would have been more appreciated else where (especially when I put over 50% down on the car)!9/24/2014 UpdateI was promised a return phone call in regards to the dissatisfaction I experienced. Going on three weeks with still no response from Jen as originally promised! Still very unhappy and consider this dealership to be a joke especially if buying a used vehicle. Went to buy a nearly new 2013 Beetle Fender edition. It had 3,000 miles on the clock and i could see from the Carfax that it had been for sale at the dealership for over 8 months. It was listed at 20,995 usd and i made an offer on the car after i drove it. The offer was rejected (which is fine) but after a few days of trading we agreed on a price. This was AFTER they tried to slap 600 usd 'destination charge' and 600 usd 'preparation fee' on top of the asking price. Now, the car had originally been bought from the same dealer and destination charge had already been paid for then. Also, after 8 months of garage time, you should think they had time to 'prep' the car for sale...So the day comes when i go there to get finance set up (i was offering basis 35% cash, 65% finance) and i sat around their offices for over 5 hours. then i am told that unfortunately the finance had not gone thru but that they were still trying. So i tell them i will look for another car. After 2 days, the sales person still talks to me about final documents etc for the financing and i am told it was okay then i was told interest rate would be in the 11-13 % bracket . The floor manager (i think?) Ezekiel calls me back to say that the deal is off as someone else had magically walked in and put a deposit on the car, paying sticker price. i ask why i was not allowed to put a deposit on it a week ago when we started the process and he avoids the question.i LUCKILY ended up with a car from an honest dealership and i am happier than i would have ever been with anything from these xxxxxxxx. oh, the icing on the cake:car is STILL for sale there - sticker price has mysteriously gone up to 24,100 usd now........LIARS and CHEATERS

I am from Queens and this dealer is located in Bronx, not a very close by, but it was worth the drive. This is not the first time we buy cars Teddy's Volkswagen it is the second car we got. The service is perfect, like any car deals it take time however they have free tea and a nice spot to chill and watch TV. The buying process is layback and easy going, no shark like environment. You come in with an idea of a car you need and they will meet it, if its a used or new car. If they don't have what you want they will find it. The customer agent I deal with was "Abdul-Wahab Suraju" he knows his stuff and is will to go above and beyond his duties to see you get what you came in for. The finance department can work magic, I did not have the perfect credit scores but I did get the car I want and they where able to come close to the month payments wanted. They even went above and beyond the normal duties to see me get the car I needed. The would STRONGLY recommend them to anyone. My brother will be coming back in to get his car here.

I purchased Volkswagen Cc in October 2013 at 41,950 miles I only put not even 3000 miles. my car had issues from the start problems with the ignition which they replace after the store manager drove the car, the 12 volt battery keeps blowing out now I have problems with the engine and guess what I am not covered under the warranty. They took full advantage of me because I was a woman coming into store to buy a car by myself. It is ashame when I walk in there because every one knows me. The Sales manger Anthony says to me I am going to take you out of this car because you are having a lot of issues with car. He assured me he was going to call the next day because finance managerwas not in and he never called me I called Anthony multiple times this day still no answer no call back. Every one who answered the phone said he was on the phone and will have him call me back, the secretary says he not in today, well ihad some one else call and right away he answers the phone, I told him this is very unprofessional then he states you should not be talking to me like this and says he will have finance manager call me KAra which he acted like he don't knowwhat Anthony talking about. No deal was made because I didn't put money down... I still have to pay for services but I am very angry with this dealership. I have put no wear and tear on this car.

I found a car online and worked out a deal verbally as I am 2+ hour drive from the dealer. When I asked for an email confirming what was agreed to verbally and what was posted online, the salesman and sales manager informed me that they could not honor the 2/24 warranty that was listed. They stated they could not certify the vehicle. They would not include a extended warranty either for the price we agreed to. I was told by the sales manager that he felt there was no need to go out of his way for me as I would not be a retuning customer or bring the car in for service as I was a far distance. I feel this is a bad business practice.

My husband have owned 3 Volkswagen cars in the last ten years. His first car was 2004 VW Jetta, his second was 2008 VW Passat and his current car is 2012 VW Tiguan. On our last purchase, VW gave us $500 off for being a loyal VW customer. We have been to Montesi VW (CT), Curran VW (CT), Bayside VW, Smithtown VW, Platinum VW, and Teddy VW (formerly Big Apple VW) for either for service or to purchase our VW vehicles. I have owned a Pathfinder, Camry and an Accord. My husband recently replaced one of our 2012 VW Tiguan tire. During his last service appointment, the service advisor told him that he needed all four tires replaced. My husband informed him that he purchased one of the tires no more than 3 months ago. The service advisor backpedaled and said "sometimes 3 bad tires can put a stress on the good one, but it's merely a suggestion." I could understand a year or more of driving, but 3 months? Needless to say, my husband declined to get his tires replaced there. On Monday, my husband went in for another service appointment. There was no mention of tires this time, but something else was mentioned. Since this dealership is only 15 minutes away from our house, it's really convenient for my husband to go there. However, this dealership does not breed any confidence from us to trust our car for future servicing and definitely not for our future purchases.

Service provided by Abdul- Wahab was excellent as well as the gentleman from the credit approval department. Although the interior of the vehicle was not detailed as told, the manager granted me to take it in within 30 days at no additional cost. Overall my experience at Teddy Volkswagen was greater than expected. Keep up the good job!

Horrible Experience. Sale Rep Show up late at my appointment 9:00 am I show up a 8:50 .He show up at 9:50 . Now I drove 5 hours for my Military Post to have a late appointment. Now I see the pre owned it was nice look but it had fair wear and tear (tire worn, heated seat button broke and the car had lights on think for the tires). Here the sales part I seen the car for 18,990 so I SETTLE total 19990 for price to pay not including sales tax , DMV and etc. SO NOW I'm waiting for 5 hours because my credit wasn't good and I had to put a bigger down payment BUT I got approved ( yeah the only good part and the deal). NO now 5 HOURS Later I sign the paper work tried and drained the car jump for 19900 to 22000 then the total was 24000. WOW. I give so much money down I had no more time to get a other car so where else(take like a week to get it back) .This is so WRONG. NOT ONLY ALL THAT BUT THE CAR wasn't READY to go.I had to wait another day. YOU Protect you country then you get screwed back home. SO AWAY IF YOU CAN!!!!! It should be CALLED TEDDY THE Fat$!ABLE DEALER. It shouldn't be that way teddy Nissan is a lot better.

I don't know much about their sales dept., but I've seen good reviews. The Service Dept. on the other hand is ran by untrustworthy, dishonest, unprofessional, sneaky, consultants and/or mechanics. I took my car in for a simple rattling noise under the car, they fixed it (heat shield was loose). Then they offered me like 8 different services for repair, which some are needed but not all. I declined all because I didn't feel like spending all that cash. Windshield washers aren't good (less than 3 months old - please!), O2 sensor is bad (where is the check engine or o2 sensor light?), headlight restoration ($179, yet I brought two entire headlight assemblies for $95), Coolant flush, and fuel injector flush, new brakes, etc.. Probably would cost few $1,000. So I pick up my car and what happens the driver seat is broken as in it slides back and forth and doesnt latch onto anything. They have some real big heavy mechanic that manhandle your vehicle. My pops and I have experienced it firsthand. No one admits to damaging the seat. They tell me in responsible for that and try to slap on another $375 to repair it. I brought it in working fine, and I get it back with the seat broken, so its my responsibility?? CRAZY... This is all from the service consultant Rishi. I asked for a manager - he's not available. I asked him to have a manager call me- he doesnt. Rishi calls back saying he spoke to his manager and the manager said its my fault and it couldnt have happened on one occasion, that its preexisting. I call again, ask for a manager. Eventually I speak with a guy named Anthony who I find out is a Sales agent, not a manager or anything to with Service. Said he would look into, never called me back, no vmail. I call back asking for him - he's in a meeting and unavailable. No phone call back, nothing.. this place was horrible. I really was angry and they treated a 12yr old customer like a piece of crap. I had enough of them, so I went in to pick up the car and was going to attempt to make a temp repair to the seat so I can drive safely and go to a reliable mechanic, but now they somehow made the seat immovable. UNBELIEAVBLE place this is. No one says anything to me whatsoever, no conversation, no phone call, no update. This place is done. Just lost a 12 yr. old customer. I swear I will rewrite this review everywhere I possibly can, and I will get the email addresses of their CEO, GM, Manager and fwd. them my terrible experience. If youre putting $ in their pocket, then they are happy go lucky nice individuals eager to assist you, but if youre cautious and into DIY on some things to save some $ they treat you like crap. What they basically said to me is if I bring my car in for something simple like an oil change and I get it back and the spark plug wires are broken, or my seat is broken, or my O2 sensor all of a sudden is no good, its my fault. They didnt even offer to pay half of the repairs, or work something out. They didnt even admit to breaking the damn thing. Horrible experience here. I want their bosses to know how low their customer service was and service is. I can't comment on sales, but their service was less than a star. Don't bring your vehicle in for service, but if you do, beware if you decline their recommendations, you might end up with some other problem. STAY AWAY!!

I viewed a used 2006 VW Passat online from this dealership and made enquiries with regard to the dealership warranties and price. Stephanie from Teddy VW confirmed that the vehicle would be under warranty and that I should test drive the car before negotiating a price with the designated saleperson, Anthony. Stephanie was insistant that I view the car on the same day and booked an appointment. My wife and I arrived at the dealership to be told that Anthony was not available but instead we could deal with a different salesperson. The dealership management sat nearby as the salesperson reviewed the vehicle specifications and confirmed that the car had no warranty. When asked if we could see the vehicle, the saleperson asked around the office for details of the vehicle's whereabouts before making a thorough search for the vehicle's keys, all whilst management were sitting around - we were the only customers in the showroom as this time. When relaizing the location of the vehicle we stepped out with the salesperson across the road to a garage where the vehicle was kept. The vehicle was surrounded by parked cars and we were told that there would be no way we could test drive the vehicle, since it was late and the road conditions were icey (I explained that this vehicle was an AWD and the conditions were the best in terms of evaluating the vehicles drivetrain). When asking about the price, this salesperson consulted her management, there was no negotiation or movement in price, the car could not be sold below the advertised price. We were offered to arrange another date for test driving the vehicle to which we declined and walked out. Overall, we were dissapointed by the experience, we visited the dealership intending to purchase the vehicle, this was such a waste of our time. If this is the way sales are conducted, please stay away from this dealership.

I recently leased a 2013 Passat several months ago. I am a loyal Honda fan and when I decided to look at other vehicles I went to over 5 major dealerships and know one wanted to give me the best deal. Everyone was slamming me into something that I was not happy with along with the payments. The only reason I purchased from Teddy was due to an individual that I had done business with in the past: Ron Fredericks. I had moved back to the NYC area and had looked him up. I had purchased 2 vehicles in the past from him including my trade in: Honda Accord EX-L. Ron came thru for me when everyone else didn't want to help. Ron introduced me to Lucky, great salesperson. (I would buy another vehicle from him but not while he is at Teddy). When it came to finally signing the agreement the Finance Manager tried to slam me into a higher payment then was agreed. I was about to walk away when Ron and Lucky stepped in and helped out. I am sorry to hear he is gone and will always give him my loyalty. I was about to bring in my sister to purchase a car but decided never to go back to this dealership since the one individual who took great care of the customers is gone. If I need service I will go to another VW dealerer closer to home. Sorry Teddy VW, you lost a great Sales Manager along with my business and any recomendations.

This Volkswagon was my fourth lease and I have had experience with all types of car salespersons. I recommend Jafor Khan because he was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, not pushy and never referred to the old "let me see if my manager can get you a better deal" trick. He was straightforward and also was very involved to take care of some minor kinks several days after my purchase. I will consider him first when I am ready for my next lease.

I went to a few dealerships when shopping for my VW and this one (Teddy of the Bronx) in my opinion was the best. The sales consultant Frank Pena immediately approached me and offered assistance. He was not pushy as some salesmen tend to be. He made me feel very welcome. He offered me coffee , a seat, and proceeded to answer all and any questions that I had pertaining to my now currently purchased vehicle. They agreed to beat any competitors price and they did. Frank continued to follow up with me throughout the purchasing process as per my request. He let me know when my vehicle is arriving, when it would be ready for pick up, etc. I do feel he went above and beyond. I almost feel as though I developed friendships with the entire sales team. An overall A+ experience! Thanks team Teddy!

I was driving buy 2 weeks ago and me and my wife stopped in to check out the deals on VW. We were greeted by Bryan K and Lucky. They were a great help. I explained to them that I was looking for an affordable car with great gas mileage because I drive 20K miles per year. They showed me a Used Jetta TDI they had on the lot which I thought was great that they didn't try to pressure me into a new car. But none the less I walked away rather then impulse buy and took there card and left. I did my research and figured out that the Passat TDI was my best buy to suit my needs space and mileage. So I called the dealer at noon and they remembered me and quoted me over the phone a price for a new 2013 Passat TDI with NAV and Sunroof with an amazing price and monthly payment. They gave me a discount on the 7year 100K warranty and I left there feeling great. I bought the car 10 hours later. I have to say the place was clean, everyone was dressed to impress, very courteous, accommodating and I called a million times and no one seemed to mind. I would recommend this place to anyone. Last but not least they even let me bring my dog and we hung out with all the staff for about 3 hours filling out paperwork and getting everything finalized.

I bought a CERTIFIED 2010 VW EOS a few months back, found myself with a flat tire on the side of Interstate 684 2 weeks ago, no big deal I thought, went to the trunk to get the tools to change the spare tire and to my surprise, NOTHING there to change the spare tire. When the emergency vehicle came to help, they couldn't, VW comes with a unique lock on the tires and the KEY to unlock was nowhere to be found, so I had to tow the car. I called the dealer to complain and ask for the tires lock key and the tools to change the spare tire that should come standard with every vehicle, they said, "Too bad, you bought this car a few months ago and we don't have to do anything about it". I was not asking for them to reimburse the $250.00 towing charge I had to pay, I was simply asking for the tools and lock key it should have been in the car. They wanted to charge me to remove the locks from the wheels and for the tools. I had to bring my car to another dealer to remove the locks and pay for it. Managers Anthony and Brian are the worse businessman I have ever seen, it would have cost them next to nothing to remove these locks and about $30.00 for the jack/tool. I have put several complaints with VW, when a dealer sells you a CERTIFIED vehicle, it is expected that standard tools like a jack and the lock key to remove the tires to be in the vehicle. STAY AWAY! ah, and I almost forgot, when I picked up the vehicle, I noticed there was no owner's manual, I told the salesman before I drove off the property and he said, we will send you one....I am still waiting.

I went to VW to look around, Mr. Khan greeted me and asked if I needed help, what the heck I said yes. I really did not know what I was looking for and had many questions but he was patient and answered them. We decided on the Jetta, since it is fuel efficient and economical. We took the car on a test drive, I love the way it felt, I knew this was the car for me. I was thinking that based on my budget, and this being the first time financing I should consider pre-owned. Mr. Khan said that he will check with the banks and finance manager and see what I would get approved for within my budget. Guess what? I got a NEW Jetta at a monthly payments that makes me happy. I would definitely recommend Jafor Khan to my friends and family - great sales guy, not pushy, got a FULL tank of gas and an overall pleasant experience.

If I could give this dealership NO STARS I would. My wife came in to purchase a new car for me because she has a disposable income. These scam artist told my wife a variety of stories regarding her approval and even told her that she did not make enough money to have two cars at one point. How is a woman who makes almost a quarter of a million a year not able to afford two vehicles. When asked to get in contact with their finance manager on the phone since my wife and I both work full time jobs and run our own side business and our schedules are busy it was next to impossible. Only after calling every 10 minutes would the nasty man even take out calls. Well we got out deposit back and just went and paid for a Mercedez Benz in cash. Thanks for wasting out time!

As far as buying a new or used car, they seem to be very good. All though I only found out my bottom line price, which was way more than I could afford, at the last possible minute. They did however come down and we worked out a good deal. My only issue is to say, just do not leave any of your personal belongings there cause you'll never get it back. I left in a rush and forgot my house keys and key chain on my old set of keys. This is obvioulsy my fault and only my fault, but I was told the keys are in the mail on there way back to me which was about 4 weeks ago, still never received them. I have since called, explained my issue, sent emails, never got a response back from anyone at Teddy. I will now have to go out and buy 2 new door locks at around 90 bucks a pop because I will not have my keys out floating around somewhere. Just to clarify, they have great cars and seem very friendly. I really don't understand why a company would let it come down to getting a bad rating, even just a simple call back would have shown me they cared a little about my situation. Sorry for the "not so good" review guy's.

Do not use this dealer! They lie through their teeth and swindle you out of money you are owed. I was not smart enough to realize I should have not trusted what they told me and had them put it in writing. Biggest mistake I ever made. They took over a lease of mine from another dealer to get me into one of their cars. Told me they would pay off the lease along with the disposition fee, didn't pay the disposition fee and then came back and denied ever saying they would. Suddenly when this came up their warm and fuzzy side went away. I have had many cars in my life and dealt with many dealer...this one I will never go back to and I suggest you don't either

Do not trust this dealership. They lie more than most. I made a fatal mistake and took them at their word without getting all the details in writing and they screwed me. They took over my lease of another car dealership so I would lease one of theirs. They told me they would be paying off the remainder of the lease and the disposition fee. They never paid the disposition fee and then lied to me and said they never said they would. So I got stuck with it. Suddenly when I called to figure out all of this the warm and friendly service went away fast. They lie plain and simple. Won't go back to this dealer.

I will begin by mentioning that I am a returning customer to this dealership for the past 4 years.While my other experiences were fine, the most recent one was terrible and an unpleasant surprise:Parts were changed in a deceiving way - thinking that they would use the same brand of tires that I had on the car, I accepted the price offered. Service person failed to inform me that instead, for that price, he would put a cheaper brand. When I returned to have this fixed, I was treated disrespectfully. The service person did not acknowledge my issue and claimed he had informed me about the cheaper brand and its price. Untrue. In addition, several members of the staff (including branch and service managers) came in and out and pretty much ganged up, bullied, and cut me off by repeating the following phrase: "We're done." (That was the service manager; I believe Tom is his name.) I had asked for a refund but they denied it, instead offering me a credit towards my next service. However, after such a horrible experience, who would want to do business with Teddy VW, the "huggable" dealer?!? After today's horrendous experience, I can even envision them being capable of damaging my car next time, on purpose. Anyways, if they don't provide a refund, I intend to file a complaint with the appropriate consumer protection agency. Extremely disappointed that they would treat a customer this way.

I was met with professionalism from the start. My sales rep gave me his cell phone number and made it a point to follow up with me everyday. He was never pushy, just helpful with providing me with the information I needed to make a decision. What stood out the most was when I was traveling from a long disance ,by public transportaion, to get to the dealership and Luis picked me up about half way which cut 20 min off my trip.

Not only was the staff very friendly, they distinguished themselves from personnel at other dealerships by expressing an eagerness to find the exact car for which my wife and I were looking. We wanted a new Beetle convertible in a specific color combination, and they found one in the region and committed to getting it for us once we agreed on a price. When deciding whether to buy, finance or lease, the staff was very helpful in providing whatever pricing options we requested. While shopping at the dealership, Desiree made sure that we saw the dealership's entire inventory of Beetle convertibles, so that we could compare all the available color and top combinations. The size of Teddy's inventory of this model was very impressive, and provided us a great opportunity to ensure that preferred the brown and beige combo. After confirming a price and terms of the lease, Teddy obtained the car within a day or two and arranged to have us pick up the car as soon as it was convenient for us. Overall, it was a great car shopping experience. And we love our new car!

I should have paid attention to the "red flags". It was very hard to get in contact with the sales people, even after I left several detailed message saying I wanted to leave a deposit. There were undisclosed "dealer" fees hidden in the contract, and not accounted for on the ledger. Close to impossible to get my deposit refunded. I actually had to contact VW corp. to expedite the process and I'm still waiting. Almost for got to mention the added fee for a bumper to bumper warranty on a already pre certified car !

I will start by writing I walked in to Teddy Volkswagen and bought a car. My entire deal was negotiated within 1.5 hours on my first visit, mostly due to my asking questions. Lots of questions. My second visit I brought in my trade in and drove home in a new car. Read about it below, it really turned out to be a great car buying experience.I had a trade in that had a blown alternator. A 2005 Passat GLX V6 4Motion. It was in great condition as it was garage kept and I had all the VW service records...except for a blown alternator. I decided to trade it in and was given an estimate sight unseen under the condition that the car was in the condition I stated. I knew it was, but they had no reason to believe me. Ron Frederick gave his word that after having his technicians review the vehicle if it was only the alternator that needed repair and the car was in great condition, he would honor his trade in appraisal. My perception of car dealers has changed after my experience with Teddy VW. They honored the appraisal value once they saw the vehicle but that is only the beginning. The pricing negotiated for the vehicle was not as drawn out as I was experiencing with other dealers. It was straight forward. There was still some negotiating but they were not trying to take advantage of me. I left a $1000 deposit on Wednesday and brought my trade in on Saturday. In between, Desiree Greer worked with me over the course of three days validating information on the vehicle of my interest. She actually returned my calls with the intention to help me. I was working on a deal with two other dealers and they were not responsive at all which didn't make sense as I ended up being a buyer. Desiree also worked with me in helping me make sense of the figures I was provided during the negotiation process. She set up conference calls with her manager so that I was more knowledgeable as to how the numbers were derived. After that I knew I was going to close the deal on my end if they honored the appraisal amount. They kept their word throughout the entire process and I am riding in a 2013 GLI Autobahn with Navigation. On my drive home I found myself thinking this whole process was much easier than one my friend went through two months earlier for the same car at another dealer...and he did not have a trade in. Can you believe that? In all seriousness, if you are looking to purchase a Volkswagen vehicle, go see Teddy Volkswagen. It really won't hurt to try them first. You can save yourself the hassle going elsewhere. They were fair, courteous and honest. What a combination. Thanks,Ed

I don't like playing games when I go to a dealer and what I want from them is that they give me their true best offer for a new car so I could make a good decision on what I want to do. The salesperson, Desiree Greer, and the GM, Ron Frederick, are the two genuine people I met here. I explained to them my case and I truly appreciated them for exploring all avenues so that the dealership and I could both agree to a certain number. On the day of the signing, I found Ron to be a man of his word and honored the deal we agreed on the night before. The person in charge of the contracts explained to me the numbers that were in the papers that I needed to sign and was open to any questions that I had. Everyone there was very helpful even the guys in the service department when I dropped of my car for trade in. Needless to say, my experience here was truly excellent.

I called and they saw me immediately, put my car in front of the service queue and got my problem resolved in 3 hours. The service staff was great, professional, and courteous. Lucky was a friendly and personable sales person, but overall, the staff at this dealer seemed unknowledgeable. A simple warranty question took over an hour to answer, as the staff went around trying to find the answer. The answer essentially came from a booklet, which did not leave me with much confidence. The financing staff was unorganized, and over a week after I left with the car, I was still getting phone calls for information they still needed. I would not recommend this dealer.

When I entered the Dealership the staff was very friendly and helpful, Unlike other dealerships this one actually had knowledge on their cars, The car that was recommended to me was the Volkswagen CC, I thought I wasn't gonna get approved because of my credit, but they never gave up and found me an approval from a bank with no down payment, So I drove off with a 2010 Volkswagen CC that day.

I was recommended to Teddy Volkswagen by the internet site, TruCar. From that site, I found that Teddy offered the lowest price for my 2013 Jetta GLI. I later found that the TruCar price was pointless as the dealership did not recognize the company and did not necessarily honor the prices of TruCar. Now I am leasing the vehicle, but the price should still be honored since after the lease period I might consider purchasing the vehicle.My primary salesperson was Kenny McGill, even though before going to the dealership, I was told I would meet with either "Emily" or "CJ." I was pressed for time since I was on my lunch break so Kenny had his work cut out for him. I was turned off since I was told I was going to meet with Emily who had all my paperwork and would be helping me. At no fault of his own, Kenny did not know why I was there and did not know of my intentions. That just ruined my whole visit. I reached out to Emily explaining how I was not pleased with the service and not pleased with the "old switcheroo".Kenny was nice enough to call the next day and address my concerns. We hashed it out over the phone but I ultimately decided to return to the dealership since I really wanted to purchase the car. I made my appointment and arrived at the dealership on time. Kenny was busy assisting another customer, but got to me right away. Since he now knew what I came for, he was prepared to show his skills as a salesperson (even though he didn't have to). I had a price in my head for a monthly payment of $275, but they came at $300. I really wasn't comfortable with the number but didn't want to lose the car. The final monthly price came to $299. We went out for a test drive, and had a great time as he expressed interest in purchasing the same vehicle.Now it was time to fill out paperwork. I was already in the dealership for around 3 hours. I wouldn't see Kenny for a couple of minutes as he ha to go speak with his manager, Tony regarding my purchase. After contacting my insurance company to get the paperwork together, Kenny informed me that I would need to call them again to change my address so it can match the binder on the car. Minor setback, but we managed to get through it. I was then able to meet with Tony personally to finish the paperwork.Tony was a great person to talk to. I could relate to Tony as we lived in the same neighborhoods and he was very easy to talk to. Tony had the job to inform me of the bad news that Kenny made a mistake and my monthly payments were not $299 but in fact $313 per month. At that time I was very frustrated but just wanted to get out of the dealership since i was now there for 4 hours. Tony apologized again and again for the mistake but there was nothing I could have done about it now. I signed the paperwork an was ready to get to my NEW car. However, there was one more problem. I overheard another salesperson say that the inspection sticker needed to be changed on the car and they couldn't find Kenny. So I had to sit there in the dealership, NEW keys in hand waiting for this new problem to be fixed. I was too tired and too hungry to get angry.A total of 5 hours later, I was out of the dealership, driving my new car. Overall I was ok with my dealings at Teddy Volkswagen. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle. I would go back to this dealership for my next vehicle. Howcome dealerships don't give out little gifts when you purchase a new vehicle? That should be something I think dealerships should look into/

My wife and I went in to Teddy VW dealer with the intention to lease a new car. When we entered we were introduce to a salesman named Kenny McGill. My wife and I told him what we were looking for in a car. Mr.McGill quickly introduced the VolksWagon Jetta. He was very informative about the vehicle, and really down to earth. In my opinion Kenny did an excellent Job. With the Help of Kenny speaking to Tony Arnette the Finance Manager my wife and I drove out that night with a VW Jetta. Over all Teddy VolksWagon Dealership was very clean, the salesmen were very friendly from the moment we walked in. Thanks again Kenny McGill and Tony Arnette for doing a great Job.

I think it would be helpful if prices were made clear, ie. if I'm paying $250 for something, it should stay that way by the time it's time to sign papers. Overall, I had a very positive experience.

Met with a salesman named Mr. Waite who is professional and patient with an enormous amount of product knowledge on the cc. I am a longtime lover of VW's but was not familiar with the cc at all. Typically I buy the Jetta or Golf. However, after Mr. Waite explained the bells and whistles of the cc, offered a test drive and helped me finalize my decision on buying this car; I now know the cc is for me. I didn't feel pressured at all. I really appreciated the way Teddy VW does business, I commend you for that. I will definitely, come back to this dealership for my purchase when I return from overseas.

This was absolutely the best experience I've had when purchasing a car. The level of customer service was outstanding. We were fortunate enough to have Lucky Waite as our sales rep and he literally spent the entire day with us as we were having trouble narrowing down the perfect selection. He was an absolute straight shooter with us from beginning to end and his patience, professionalism and honesty is to be commended. The entire staff was truly dedicated to making sure they hit on all points such as making sure we satisfied with the selection and it satisfied our budget. Lucky has also made it a point since our purchase to call us to check up on the car and to make sure that we were not having any type of buyers remorse. I already recommended my bro in law who also completed a sale and I will be returning very soon as the Lease on my second car (toyota) is soon set to expire.

Teddy Volkswagen brings great credit to the Volkswagen brand. My experience could not have been more positive. I literally walked in with the information about the car I was interested in and the options and accessories I wanted included. Within 5 minutes, my salesperson Walter had pulled the car out for a test drive. Returning to the dealership after the test drive, I find out that Wes, had already put together my deal and was simply awaiting final approval from Volkswagen Credit. In a mere 45 minutes, I had the car I wanted, with the options and accessories I wanted and at the price, to the penny, I wanted. There was no pressure, no haggling, no stress. I signed my contracts; then everyone in the dealership made a point of shaking my hand (even taking pictures) and thanking me for my business. Wes in particular took my hand, looked me squarely in the eyes and told me that if I ever had any issue or questions about my purchase, that I should call him immediately. I could see that it wasn't slick salesman BS. He meant it. At least, he certainly made me believe it. If that's the way they do business everyday, they'll be around a very long time and have many, many satisfied customers.

On a cold December evening, I travelled all the way up to the Bronx to visit this dealership. The dealership was recommended by a friend who shared a wonderful experience resulting in their purchase of the same car I was interested in buying. I spotted the car -2013 GTI- that I wanted. Upon entering the dealership, I encountered Junior Corcino who would eventually become my salesperson. This is a large and expensive purchase so it was with skepticism and caution that I responded to his very friendly greeting, "Hello" "Can I help you". I got a sense that he was genuine in his desire to help me. We ended up having a fantastic rapport. Junior has a gentile, patient, non-judgmental manner. I even learned that his dad is a fan of the Rolling Stones ;-) -that is an inside joke between Junior and I. Junior took me back to see and learn more about the features of the GTI up close -details which I had not considered or expected to find. It was a very refreshing and exhilarating experience. His guidance helped me to solidify my choice. I left that evening determined to make this purchase and now happily have this car home with me. My joy in making this lifestyle change is supported by both family and friends. Everyone is happy for me. Teddy's Volkwagen exhibits the very standard of excellent customer service all dealerships should strive for. I visited a number of places seeking a new car, but this was one of the few places where I felt like the people cared about what was BEST FOR ME, versus what was best for their bottom-line. The Sales consultants did see me as a dollar sign and showed every model that I inquired about. From a basic Jetta to a top-end CC, I never felt like they pushed too hard. When I finally settled on a few options (I chose a GTI), they were clear about the vices and virtues for each vehicle. Wes, the Manager even took the time to sit with me to discuss what he thought. Everybody was extremely professional and helpful. When I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and charm. Nobody tried to "sell" me. We had candid conversations about excellent machines. As an avid driver and former customer service representative, I know when I'm getting treated well. What makes this review even more indicative of Teddy's VW commitment to Service is that almost everybody in the dealership had a smile..Whether it was a customer or a Sales Consultant, everybody was positive and helpful. It was a good feeling. I'm happy with my car selection and even happier with the service I've got.

The worst experience ever. After three days of leasing a car i realized that the price was too high and i found a leasing company ,leasinglegend.com that i can get the same vehicle for $100 less a month. I was not satisfied with the price so decided to go back and try to see if i can work something out. I was told to wait to speak to someone. After waiting for two hours i finally spoke to, michael Inserillo, his response was "there is nothing he can do" when i try to reason with him his response was take me to court. Very disrespectful. Elvin. Never leasing or buying VW.

The overall service experience I had with Teddy Volkswagen and specifically with Frank Marcello was truly outstanding. The responsiveness and sincere consideration given to my circumstances and situation for getting my vehicle repaired was incredible. The attentiveness and courtesy experienced was unprecendented for me as I have never been treated in this way by any other dealership personnel in my 30 years of owning vehicles and requiring service of any kind. The quality of the body work conducted to repair my vehicle was excellent and very satisfying along with conscious effort to keep the cost of the repair at a fair and reasonable dollar amount.

I went into Teddy's VolkWagon LLC in the Bronx to lease a 2012 CC as I had seen an advertisement - sign and drive. I was talking with a salesman when I was told that I had the great credit but my history was not long enough to lease and the salesman began showing me other VWs. Mr. Harold Munger began to assist me and was exceptionally professional. I was about to say 'Thank you, but no Thank You' when Mr. Munger stepped right up and went to work to make sure I left a happy customer. His knowledge of people and the plans best suited for my purchase were exact and accurate. I purchased my CC because his salesmanship provided the comfort necessary to put me at ease with my purchase. It was definitely more affordable for me to purchase than to lease and Mr. Munger knew that, his knowledge enabled me to get the car I desired instead of having to settle for another brand of VW. He is an exemplary salesman with a knowledge of people and a kindness and humbleness to make me say 'Yes, I'll take it.' I am very happy with my purchase Thanks Mr. Munger and Volkswagon for great and caring salesmen.

The salesman, Harold, was informative and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain the car and show us all the features. He let us test drive the car and explained the pricing options. Price negotiations were calm and reasonable. I had visited other VW dealers and Harold was the difference. I would definitely recommend Teddy and Harold.

I would to start off by saying THANKS to these guys. What you guys did for my family and I was just great. Im glad to had stop at Teddys before I went to another dealership. This is why you would to buy your car at Teddys Volkswagen, from the start when my wife and I walked in thru the doors we didn't get attack by a gang of sale people pushing us to buy a car. We wanted to buy a Honda CRV 2010 only to save gas but when we got in the car from the start Jason knew that, that was not the car for us so we wanted to leave because that was the car we wanted in the price range that fit our budget. That's went things got great Jason told us to pick any car we like and he'll do the rest. So we pick a 09 Toyota Venza knowing it was over our price range by a few grand. He immediately told his manager Wess how much we was willing to pay and how much the car was. I didn't get it for what I wanted but i did get it at a price that was within my budget and Wess made sure I was happy with the price. Then Mike in finance worked out the payments for us. He did an awesome job working with the banks making sure we got the bank we wanted to go with at a good APR% . We are looking for a 3rd car and will definitely go back there for it. My salesman Frank Cortes and Jed Kass went above and beyond. I came to Teddy VW on a Sunday afternoon looking to explore options of getting out of my current Lexus lease and purchasing a new VW. Within an hour Frank and Jed had worked out a deal to purchase my current vehicle off lease and put me into a new VW Passat! They were very cognizant of my price consciousness and worked extremely hard to structure a deal that would work for my budget. Frank and Jed made sure all of the paperwork was completed in a timely manner and took the time to walk me through all the details of my new vehicle. The customer service at Teddy VW should be deemed the benchmark for all car dealerships!

HE TOOK HIS TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING AND NEVER RUSHED OR PUSHED FOR A DEAL AT ANY TIME AND WE WERE THERE FOR QUITE A WHILE. By far the worst new car shopping experience ever. Ray Belliard was the most incompetent sales person and from day one, mistake after mistake was committed eventually costing me hundreds of dollars in interest charges. When I was interested in a new Golf TDI manual two door, I did some research and discovered Teddy Volkswagen in the Bronx. I called and was told that a shark blue two door was available. I showed up the following day and was introduced to Ray Belliard. He had me waiting in the dealership for over four hours just to see the car, forcing me to cancel the appointment I had at an another dealership. Part of the delay was that one of the employees was involved in a accident driving a car from the storage warehouse to the dealership lot so I didn't stress the excessive wait so much. When the TDI finally arrived, I wasn't thrilled with the color and considered the day wasted until Wes Williams (Ray's boss) guaranteed me that the exact model and color I wanted was available. Ray and I went over the financing details and was told that tier one credit holders were eligible for 1.9% financing. We did the monthly payment numbers based on this financing and settled on the trade in value of my car. I left a small deposit and was promised the car in two days. When the two days passed, I called Ray but the vehicle wasn't in the lot as promised. I requested the VIN number to the car and did some internet investigation. It turned out that the car was in Connecticut at another Volkswagen dealership available for sale! I called Ray again for his explanation and he had me transferred to Nancy Rodriguez who handled this problem and had the vehicle delivered the following few days. When the car arrives at Teddy Volkswagen's lot, Ray calls me and I call my insurance company. I am told by my insurance company that my insurance starts midnight and that the car dealership can give temporary insurance to cover the temporary lapse. I drive over to the dealership and Ray tells me that Teddy Volkswagen does not do temporary insurance coverages. I tell Ray that I will come the following day to pick up the car but he insists that he will work something out regarding the insurance. Meanwhile, I am lead to the finance room and am told that there is no 1.9% financing on Golf TDI's! Instead I am offered 4.8%! We bring Ray into the finance room and he just babbles that he wasn't aware and that his boss (Wes Williams) didn't question the finance estimates. What kind of bullshit dealership does this is all I can think of that moment. Abe Levi the general manager walks by and asks me what he can do for me, and I simply ask for rubber mats for the car. He has the finance guy write up a order form for the mats and I quickly sign all the paperwork and leave the room to pick up my new car. Now, I am pissed at Ray but can you imagine my anger when he tells me that he couldn't do anything with insurance and that I have to drive home in my old vehicle. I just kept shook my head in disbelief and came back the following day. Now, after one month of new car ownership, I come home from a two week vacation to find a letter from my insurance company telling me that I have been dropped from collision and theft insurance. Apparently, Ray didn't send in a copy of the new car window sticker to the insurance company. For two weeks, I have been driving without insurance because of someone's incompetence at Teddy Volkswagen. I call Nancy and vent my frustration and she quickly complies to the insurance company and sends them the necessary paperwork. However, since so much time elapsed since the purchase, I still have to drive the car to have a physical inspection done at the insurance center.To add insult to injury, Nancy calls me and asks who authorized the rubber floor mats because the department that handles finance needs to know. She seems sympathetic and sincere but I tell her to keep the mats and that I no longer want anything to do with that dealership. No one in that dealership is to be trusted which is a shame. The saying "Buyer Beware" applies at this dealership.

This car is my third new Volkswagen Jetta and because of the horrible customer service I experienced will be my LAST! My experience was unacceptable and I will not be using purchasing another Volkswagen. On 6-19-2012 I went to pick up my 2012 Jetta and provided a bank check for my down payment. On the 21nd of June I received a phone call from the Finance Manager who advised "you did not give me the down payment check" I reminded him I had done so and reminded the conversation we had about the fact the check was obtained by my husband and not in the last name. He said yes I remember "I told you cash is cash" But he also insisted that I didnt not give him the check. I told him I would check with my husband and get back to him. Before the end of the day he called me back and said "Can you just give me a credit card" I said no and reviewed the fact that I would talk to my husband. My husband went back to the bank on June 25th and explained the issue to my bank, they advised a complex procedure to cancel the check and replace it one that would cost us more money. We called the dealership back to let them know of the cost to accommodate the mishap. I was told to do it they would cover the cost. Later in the same day (7 days after the purchase) we received a call from the General Manager who advised it was a clerical error and they found the check. By this time my husband had spent over 2 hrs. in the bank trying to resolve the issue, I had been basically told I was not telling the truth and did not provide the down payment check and told to place it on a credit card to resolve the dealership mishap and once found was told it was a filing issueI was unpleased with the service and process and asked Mr. Levy what he was going to do to make it right? He said what you want. I told him the least he could do was refund the 75.00 last minute charge that was not disclosed during the negotiation. He said I will have to see if I can do that he was curt and dismissive to the issues and inconvenience Teddy Volkswagen had caused and promised a callback. I waited one full week and called back on July 2nd Mr. Levy said due to staffing issues he was unable to resolve the problem and would call me back I again waited one week called back on July 9th I was placed on hold and Mr. Levy never picked up the phone nor was I placed in his voice mail. I did not get a chance to revisit this issue until today July 17th 2012 a full month after the purchase. I called Mr. Levy and spoke to him and he once again said I will check into this and call me back. I am done with this game I demand that I get a call from Volkswagen explaining what will be done to rectify this problem and compensate me for my countless hours tracking down a 75.00 check and hours spent trying to resolve the issue of the Misplaced check and the scratch that needs to be repaired. I will be sure to blog, and post my comments and experience on the internet to warn other people about my experience as well as never purchase a fourth car from Volkswagen again.

Saw the ad online and visited the dealership. Apparently, another customer already paid deposit for the car I wanted so I wasn't able to make a purchase. However belinda told me that if the customer does not pick up the car, she will call me back. Same day at 9:30pm I got a voice mail from her that the car was not picked up so I can purchase the car next day. However when I visited the next day she wasn't there. When I talked to the manager, he said I can not buy the car since they have received an additional deposit(from the guy who made initial deposit) and told me I can go home.It took me more than an hour and $12 for toll to get there but nobody apologized to me. What's even worse was their attitude. They were talking to me as if it was my fault that I didn't call them back to check if the car is available.I was extremely offended by the dealership and would never visit again nor recommend to my friends.

My experience with the previous owners of the dealership was ok so I was not expecting much more than'ok'when I decided to upgrade my 2008 Passat at the same location. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked through the doors and was instantly greeted by Belinda. She was attentive, and courteous, professional and very thorough. I was informed that the dealership was under new management- Teddy VW,and it was their grand opening. I felt very welcome as did my 2 young children who roamed all over the dealership. I spent more than 4 hours at Teddy VW but every one was kind and friendly and the time passed quickly. Once I found the car I liked Belinda handed me off to Cliff who ran the numbers for me and told me the specifics about the car. He also was very thorough and patient, total transparency. He expalained every aspect of the contract, and options. He broke down my trade in value, financing, and different warranty options. All the while Belinda was there in the back ground making sure all my needs and questions were met. I then went to Financing with Eddy. Once again an excellent experience. In addition to his charm he applied his knowledge as he put all the specifics discussed into the contract and recited it to me so that I knew what I was getting into. All in all Teddy Volkswagon exceeded the level of customer service that I was expecting. I am very glad I kept my appointment, and was totally impressed in all aspects. I would highly recopmmend this dearlership to anyone intersted in purchasing a car!

I totally recommend teddy Volkswagen. My husband and I went to inquire about a vehicle and Bryan went the extra mile in trying to get us a car to which we would be satisfied with. He answered all of our questions and not once did he become bothered. Bryan was great and very knowledgeable about the type of work he does. The manager Mr.Shabbaz was very nice and involved which is usually rare in other dealerships. The staff at Teddy's are very friendly I recommend their services.

In response to a Teddy VW mail promotion, I was promised an appointment for Teddy VW to appraise and buy my 2007 Passat Wagon. I made it clear that this was not a trade-in. When I arrived at Teddy VW (after a long slog from Manhattan) the salesman said that they don't just buy back cars that it has to be a trade-in -- he just sent me on my way. The process wasted a good couple of hours of my time. The sales manager called me later and said that the salesman was wrong.I told the sales manager that he should send one of his people to my car in Manhattan.He told me that he wouldn't do that.Thanks, Teddy -- great service. Was this just a bait and switch?

I found purchasing my 2012 Tiguan at Teddy Volkswagon to be a very pleasurable experience. Our sales rep, Belinda Ortiz was extremely knowledgeable and personable. She had an excellent command of the product and was able to competently demonstrate all functionalities of the automobile. In addition soon after purchasing the vehicle there were problems with the warning lights on the dashboard. Belinda and ts service team were excellent in assuring that my car was repaired swiftly and provided me with a loaner car so I would not be stranded with my infant daughter. After various and many issues with the pervious owners of this VW dealership, it was a great surprise to have an new and so what I though changes were coming; this morning Tuesday May 29, 12 experience was very annoying and frustrating. My car was in need of service so on my call to the dealership on 5/23 the service personal took my information but never advised me that I had to inquire about tires in stock or if pre-order them. In my opinion the service personal should have informed me of this or gave me a heads up or contact someone in the service department to inquire about the tires and whether or not they were in stock. Then after giving my list of other items she asked if I will need a ride to work, or train station etc, I said I would like a drive to work, but this morning I was told "oh we dont offer rides or courtsey rides". If this was the case I would have made other arrangements for transport. This has turned my feelings once again reminding me of my past experience owners. NOT PLEASED AT ALL!!!!

Ray and Eddy were so great!! They were so diligent and helpful, they put me completely at ease with everything that was going on with the car. They were not at all pushy or annoying. After telling them of my horrific experience with Palisades VW in Nyack, NY, they assured me that it would not be the same there and it was not. I was able to go in, pick a car and thankfully get approved! They worked with me for hours, offering us beverages and making sure that we had eaten. Ever patient and genuinely seeming to want to do all that they can to help, they made sure that I was able to leave with what is now my car that I adore. Thanks so much guys!!

I stopped by Teddy VW to shop for a Passat, and was surprised that I was attended with professionalism and courtesy by Frank. I wanted to get the best price possible and shopped 2 other dealers, Teddy VW beat prices given by Lash and Koeppel where I stood around asking for help. I guess they felt a woman by herself was not a buyer. Frank introduced me to Tom who is the General Manager, and he also made me feel welcome and respected. I drove home within 2 hours in my 2012 Passat and couldnt be happier!. Disregard the reviews on Edmunds, these poor guys are getting the terrible reviews from the people they bought the dealership from, Big Apple. They offer exceptional service and I will recommend friends and relatives to them. My son has a Jetta coming due in June and his replacement will be purchased at Teddy VW! Good job guys!

I found this dealer using Truecar.com, it was the closest to my house of the 3 that dealers contacted me. I was looking for a Jetta GLI manual with navigation, in Black Grey or Silver in that order. They did not have one in stock but assured me that they would get it for me within a few days. I was a little skeptical because I have been down that road before with other dealers and they could not always deliver what they had promised. But I must say that in less than a week the car was on the lot (Black) which was my 1st choice, and I was there signing the paperwork and driving it home.I would highly recommend Teddy to anybody out there looking for a new VW.
