I was just about finished looking for a quality used car from a dealer. I had been all around the area and most other places wouldn't even KBB values. Trying to tell me it's common to pay more. By chance I swung by this location and spoke to a salesman named Vinnie. I told them my price range and my monthly payment limit. I was shown as many cars as I wanted to see. Test drove a few, and found the one. It was two years old, 47,000 miles, with a clean car fax. The best part was that they were willing to take $1250 below KBBs suggested price. I'm very happy with this experience.

It was truly our pleasure doing business with Tom Wright. We came to Suttle with the intention to meet with another salesman but he was unable to work with us upon our arrival. Tom professionally stepped in and proceeded to support us in our search for just the right vehicle to fit all of our requirements. After being in a car accident, the process of finding a new car when you were not planning to can be quite the stressful experience. I wish i came directly to Suttle to buy my replacement family vehicle.Throughout the course of a weekend I visited countless dealerships. Some were helpful but didnt have what I want, some had what i wanted but the service was absolutely terrible. When i got to Suttle I wasnt bombarded by the hounds (hungry salesman) I was simply directed to a recommended salesman and the process began, AND MAN WAS IT PLEASANT. We had our 2 year old daughter with us and it was nice to see that she wasnt treated as an afterthought. Our salesman brought her treats, something to drink, he even held a full blown conversation with her all while My wife and I looked over the particulars of the car. This blew me away. The purchasing process was also very pleasant. Instead of getting us to bite on the first offer the banks began to throw at us, our salesman gutted it out and found us the best deal possible. It truly was hassle free. So in parting I would like to say if you want to go to a dealership with quality cars, and even better service, head straight to Suttle in Newport News. I have found my "go to" dealership, if you come here, you will find yours too.

I called the Suttle Service Dept, Red Team (Mr Doug Carter) about getting my car serviced. I was told to bring it in on the same day between 1:30 and 2:00 PM. I did, they performed the maintenance and I was out of there in no time. Great service, quickly done, great value.

Just another great Suttle experience. My wife and I have been considering a new or recent model upgrade for some time and I finally detected on the Suttle preowned Site a Buick Lacrosse which looked too good to be true. I immediately contacted Jim Russo and set up a visit and vehicle review the following morning. Jim warmly greeted us and ran us thru the vehicle particulars and coupled us with an experienced, knowledge Salesperson: Steve Gamble. Steve got us in the vehicle, briefed us on the necessities of operating the vehicle and then launched us on our test drive. The vehicle was beautiful, clean and pre serviced and turned out to be very suitable for our needs. After price negotiations and settlement we told Steve when we would like to take delivery and he arranged everything to our satisfaction including a complete briefing on all the vehicle system operations. This is the second vehicle (last new) I have purchased from Suttle in the last ten years and my association goes back some 35 years. Their service department which I have used over the past 10 years is also choice and very competitive price wise. Looking forward to my good car needs and care from this fine Dealership.

especially compared to other dealers I've dealt with in my 20+ years as a motorist, Suttle, did such an outstanding job of getting me in the right vehicle for the right price quickly and easily. All negotiations were made on the phone and when terms were agreed upon, Jaclyn Vazquez and Jacob Nantell drove the vehicle all the way out to Virginia Beach to deliver it and sign paper work. The whole experience took 30 minutes tops and that includes the amount of time demonstrating all the features on the Canyon. The GMC Canyon is an awesome vehicle too and Jaclyn threw in a whole slew of extra features / packages I didn't even ask for. I don't normally view car dealers as long term relationships but my experience with Suttle changed that completely. I see myself doing business with these folks whenever I need a new car.

The Service Writer, Rikki was extremely helpful with everything I needed. She had all the answers to my questions. The mechanics fixed ny car up for which I am grateful. I couldn't even find that there were there knowing that they had to remove the dash and front panel. Excellent work.

I brought my car in for the routine oil change etc. and maintenance check-up. I asked them to also wash the car...it was so dirty from the snow mess and I was honestly embarrassed it was so dirty. They did everything and I could pick it up over my lunch. It is always easy! I'm grateful for the efficiency, the attention to detail with the car's service. Just good things to say!

I had a recall on my Cadillac but no appointment they took me right on in without any complaints. I dropped it off and I had the courtesy driver to pick me up, the courtesy driver called me and told me he will be at my house and 15 mins. and he was right on time. I picked up my car and they washed the outside of my car without me asking. Thanks I really needed that.

Melvin Dawson and Larry Preddy went far above and beyond to help my wife to find the perfect car and at a great price. Instead of a 2015 we thought we wanted that had great "end of model year" price from GM and Suttle, they found a 2016 that had every feature my wife desired and no extra unwanted features--truly my wife's "perfect car". "I love it- it is wonderful!" I never heard that before even though she's had numerous other cars (several of which were much more expensive). Two happy customers.

Doug Carter called to let me know what work was needed to pass inspection. I was unavailable to answer so he left me a voice message then he texted me with the information too. I was able to reply to the text message right away but unable to talk. Doug's text message allowed me to give permission for Suttle to begin the needed work; therefore, allowing my vehicle to be ready for pick-up before the close of business. Doug always keeps me informed and I appreciate his dedication to customer satisfaction.

Brought our 2016 Enclave in for the windshield wiper motor replacement under the recall program, but found out that it did not need to be replaced! Not sure why GM didn't know which cars required the mod. Could have saved me half a day.

I was assigned to the "Green Team". Very efficient and was welcomed by Kenny, very cordial and professional. I visited the customer waiting room, very nice (the hot chocolate was delicious). The service on my car only took approximately 30-45 minutes. I was totally satisfied with this experience.Thanks to kenny and the green team for a great experience.

I called my regular Red Team service advisor, Doug Carter, but he was on vacation and advised that the other Team Leaders would take care of my needs. Mr Kenny Patterson (Green Team) answered the my call and said he would help me and did so. He advised that I could bring the vehicle in for servicing immediately if I desired. When I arrived, another Team Leader, Doug Trainor (sp?) said he too would help as soon as he finished helping another customer. Just then, Mr Patterson came up and said he would handle my service needs. Wow, it looks like the different team leaders watch out for each other, making the customer feel that the entire Suttle staff really wants to help. About an hour later, my vehicle was ready and waiting for me to drive it home. Great service, easily exceeding expectations.

The service department has always been great in my experience. Even in the few times that something unforeseen shows up, they have been great in communicating the issues, the fix(es) and if there are any delays. They always seem eager to help and are pretty quick in the turn-around times. I have recommended them to a number of people and they have all had good experiences. I have also purchased a used car from them and it was as smooth as you would expect (I cannot remember the sales reps name as it has been a number of years). In service, sales, or finance, I have always felt like my business was appreciated and have always been treated in a professional and welcoming manner.

I have purchased a new GMC truck from Suttle Motors and have had service and body shop work done on my cars as well. I am a GM fan and they are in my opinion the best source for GM products in this area. I have recommended friends purchase cars from this dealership. I always tell folks to do their homework and be prepared to negotiate with the sales folks. I was treated fairly and got a good deal on my trade and purchase. The service department always treats me like they appreciate my business. If you can make Kenny Patterson your service writer.

My service ride sign control light came on and i took the car in to check as to way because i have them change in may 2014. It sure not go out that fast only 15 mos at 800 dollar a piece that not good at those price.

I was warmly greeted upon entering the service area(this was my first visit; )as I just purchased my car in Feb of this year.My only slight disappointment was the fact that the car wash machine was not working that day; my technician did advise me to return on the following day for the car wash... But as luck would have it.. My work schedule as not allowed me to do so as of yet.... Looking forward to it!

Have you ever seen a business go down hill with children entering a business? In my opinion, the Suttle Motor Car Company has made this mistake. Myles Suttle, less than two years out of college, has vaulted to assistant used car manager, displacing others that have worked at the dealership for years. I know the family and the previous two generations, however, Myles Suttle has reached a new low in customer service. I received a quotation for trading in a SUV that was purchased new from the dealership. I accepted the quotation and left a message asking for a time to deliver the vehicle and execute the transaction, 6 days ago. Myles has not returned a telephone call in almost 2 weeks, the beginning of the process. He has not responded to cell phone calls, calls to the dealership on the land line or text messages to schedule a time. Myles prefers texting and he uses this method, even when a telephone call is requested. It is unfortunate that nepotism trumps customer service.

Called Suttle Motors Monday afternoon for an appt Tuesday morning. Arrived on time, was greeted by 3 different Suttle employees and my truck was taken for service almost immediately. In just over an hour, the Red Team Leader, Doug Carter, found me in the new car showroom and said my truck was ready--way quicker than I expected. Super service, very quick, very friendly--couldn't ask for more!

Came in for Schedule II maintenance, found problem with water pump. Had all maintenance & water pump replaced on same day. Kenny Patterson & JD of green team are exceptional. JD does all the work on my truck, has since I bought it! Kenny went out of his way to make sure I got picked up to get my truck! Both of your shuttle drivers were out on other runs & Kenny had another man get a company car to pick me up! Fantastic......

This was my fourth trip there for the same "Check Air Bag" problem. The first three did not cure the problem or cured it for a small amount of time. This time they said they called the TECH Center and received a resolution. We'll wait and see if the fix holds for any amount of time. I checked the TSP site and this problem was there and has been for some time. A problem with the connector under the passenger seat coming loose or getting disconnected. I had recently repositioned my passenger seat and the problem resurfaced so I made this appointment once again. The first repair lasted about a week, the second laste until I got about a mile away from the dealership and the third lasted until a few days ago. We'll see if the tech center gave them the fix and how long it lasts. However, 4 trips to repair one issue is not conducive to good maintenance practices or favorable customer feedback. Your new service adviser was a breath of fresh though. Seems to want the customer to have great experiences. We'll see, the jury is still out on this one.

I had a intermittent problem with ignition that failed to appear when I brought the car in. Kenny Patterson and the Green team stayed with it for two days until it appeared and keep me in the loop the whole time.

Always have a great experience with service under doug carter's leadership at Suttle. One small note was that my car was serviced and oil percentage gage wasn't reset. For some reason I always look at this but not a big deal and I'll get it done the next time it's in! This is definitely the place to get service hands down.

The waiting area is very comfortable with wi-FI, TV, Starbucks coffee, desk chairs for laptops. I don't mind waiting because I can get computer tasks done. I always get a free carwash, even with state inspection. I love Suttle.

Entry to customer service area was confusing...not too found of the way reps are scattered through the garage and you walk around the cars to find someone to help you. Prefer a centralized area and a more defined entrance. Was just weird threading my way through the cars being worked on. Waiting area was spacious and comfortable.

The Service Manager of the Green Team Kenny Patterson was very helpful and take care of all my needs. I only been to Suttle twice for service this was my second time and he took care of me both times and he had great customer service and he makes sure everything I needed done was taking care of. We appreciate the professional and non-pushy service we receive from Suttle. It's sometimes hard to find honest service departments in this area. Alot of them try to take advantage of their customers by forcing them into service they do not need. Suttle does not do that, as a matter of fact they will actually tell a customer they really don't need items that a customer requests and make recommendations and provide information and educate instead of trying to rip them off. I guess some companies don't realize that a lot of their business from word of mouth recommendations from their customers. My Cadillac and GMC Sierra will always be serviced at Suttle. Keep up the good work.

Nice folks, very helpful. Mr. Williams and Tony Capo were great to work with. Delivery of truck took a bit of time but was not a problem. They did not clean the engine compartment but Tony noted this and offered a cleanup during delivery or a postponement until first service. I chose the latter but cleaned the engine myself when I got home. This really is a minor issue but wanted to bring it to your attention.

I went in to purchase a new vehicle and had an awesome experience. My sales guy Tracey was the coolest, most down to earth "car salesman" ever. We drove a new Denali with no pressure at all and there were none of those typical sales gimmicky lines and arm-twisting catch phrases. I ended up buying a brand new Sierra and I couldn't be happier. Excellent customer service, easy transaction and everyone I met treated me and my family like we really mattered to them and their business. I will, and have, recommend them to everyone in the market for a car. Nice to see there are businesses that still care about people.

I took my 2002 envoy in because the began hesitating apon excelleration and the SES 'service engine soon' light came on. Within 24 hours I had authorized all of the repairs required and and a couple that suggested and was back on the road with a complimentary car wash, excelleration as smooth as ever, and no SES!!!. Wonderful experience--Doug Carter (Red Team) took care of my needs, making sure my car was given the needed service and even used a coupon that was sent to me for about a 33% discount. My car was serviced quickly and was even given several coupons for discounts on other services I will likely need in the foreseeable future. Service was convenient, fast, and a good value! My 2011 Buick LaCrosse failed me on three separate occasions, including Sunday, April 6th. On Monday, April 7th, I called Doug to share my concerns, and he requested that I bring the car in for service. Again, the car woild not start, so AAA came a started it. Doug assured me that they would solve the problem. Gratefully, the Technicians discovered that the battery, which on earlier tests had indicated life, now proved to have insufficient power. Changing the battery has made a huge difference. I thank Doug Trainum and the crew for their tenacity. My confidence in Suttle, in my 2011 Buick LaCrosse and in GMAC has returned.

I am pleased to share this information. On March 06 2014, was informed of an article in cars.com where i complained about a car i purchased from Scuttle Motors with unsatisfactory tires. To my surprise I was contacted by Mr. George Hawes Director of Operations at Suttle Motors Newport News VA. Mr. Hawes stepped up after finding out I had purchased new tires, paid for the tires and have them mounted. This was Moore than I expected and I greatly appreciate what Suttle Motors did to correct the problem. I want to thank Mr. Hawes the Suttle Motors Management and staff for their professional courtesy in dealing with my problem. The only criticism I have is that in being new, I had to stand and wait a bit before someone asked if I needed assistance. It is not often that I fill out a survey, but when I do it is only because of stellar performance by an individual or group of people that deserve to be acknowledged. The Service Department at Suttle Motors is such a group. I have been dealing with Suttle Service for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The team Service Advisors (Ricki Zimmerman & Doug Trainum) have always gone above and beyond to take care of me and my vehicles. Before going to Suttle I suffered many bad experiences when it came to repairing my vehicle. Since I starting using Suttle Service, I have not darkened the door of any other repair facility since. On more than one occasion I was pressed for time when the need for service arose, and Ricki Z and Doug T. came to my rescue. They were very understanding of my predicament and moved heaven and earth to get my vehicle taken care of and me back on the road quickly. Coming from a profession where there is little to no tolerance for mistakes, I have a tendency to hold others to the same high standards, and it is my belief that Suttle meets those standards. Everyone in the Service department makes me feel welcome and appreciative of my business. I realize that this is not the only repair facility around; its just the only repair facility that I will use.

First Mr. Doug Carter was outstanding and the repairs done to my truck seem to be good but I did have initial problems when I first picked up my truck with a bad misalignment and shake that I believe the technicians should have told Doug about so it could have been fixed the first time instead of me having to drive it home call Doug and bring it back the next day to fix. One other thing is the amount of money and time my truck spent there I would have thought I could have at least got my truck washed or a rental vehicle offered. I would like to state again that I am satisfied with the service and repair but would have liked a little more detail into the service.

Two years ago I purchased a Buick Lacrosse from Suttle Motors. I had a great salesperson (Tony). He was so knowledgable about the vehicle and really helped me through the entire vehicle purchase. He went out of his way to help me understand all the electronic features in the vehicle. Normally I hate the financing process of the car buying experience, but I had a great experience working with the F&I department at Suttle. They made it very painless! I came in pre-approved for a loan, but they got me a lower interest rate! So, not only did I get a great car but I got a great interest rate. I take my Lacrosse in for regular maintenance service and the Ronda on the White team took great care of my vehicle. Last week, I was on the Suttle lot looking at a Buick Enclave. Even though I was not quite ready to buy another vehicle, they patiently took their time to go over the features of the vehicle and answer my questions. I will definitely go back to Suttle Motors for my next vehicle purchase. If you want great customer service without the normal car buying sales pressure, stop by Suttle Motors for your next vehicle! I highly recommend them.

I brought my 2005 Cadillac CTS in for a state inspection. The entire service team was very courteous and friendly. Your customer waiting area was comfortable and pleasant (made me feel right at home)! The ladies restroom rated a 10 for cleanliness. Also, the coffee was great too. Thank You.

Excellence service. I used a discount coupon and saved some money! I spoke with 6 different Suttle employees and felt appreciated. The Red Team leader, Doug Carter, advised my car was ready and since he was busy with another customer, another team leader (Mr Trainer) cover for him and got me out much more quickly--very professional and appreciated. Says a lot that both Team Leaders cover for each other!

We wanted badly to own a Cadillac but were vacillating about the expense. Your salesman Tony Capobianco took us carefully through the advantages of purchasing a new car with all the added safety features and explained the car in detail. We started to wonder why we were being so foolish after all of the obvious advantages were pointed out. Even my insurance went down. I'm so glad my wife and I took the time to listen to him. Your Tony is one of the most pleasant and, in our opinion, the most honest person We've ever met . We wish him every possible success in the future. We were also very impressed with Rhonda in the service department. Very helpful lady.

I contacted Suttle as I wanted to trade in my vehicles for a 2013 CTS Coupe. Tracy Lego responded to my email and asked me to email him the VIN #'s and descriptions of the vehicles I wanted to trade in on a Sunday and that he would get back to me the next day (Monday) about the trade in values of the vehicles. Monday came and went, Tuesday came and went and finally on Wednesday, I emailed Tracy to ask where we stood with everything as I knew that the rebates would be expiring on Oct 31st. No reply. It is now Thursday and I have emailed him yet again asking what is going on and why the lack of communication. No reply. I think this is horrible customer service. I have the funds to buy this vehicle out right and I think Tracy Lego got annoyed with me because I asked about all of the incentives and rebates. Horrible experience! Do not waste your time with Suttle Motors or Tracy Lego, Sales Manager.

I have never been treated WORST as a consumer in my life!!!! More so as a silly woman who doesn't know anything. If you value your hard earned dollar, stay away from Suttle Motors!!! I was in the market for a 2013 CTS Coupe and searched the internet for the best prices via the internet (the way of the world now) Suttle seemed to have the best pricing. So after a week of trying to wheel and deal I was ready to hit the lot. I knew what I wanted but it was a little over my price so I had a plan B &C just in case I couldn't get into exactly what I was looking for. I worked with Mike Worlin who couldn't make a move without the asst sales manager Tracy Lego... Which was strange but who cares.... I've got 2 people helping me right? WRONG!! They didn't seem interested in selling me a car without knowing how much I wanted to spend, so instead of the Performance coupe I asked to see they paraded me around a Premium! Which I didn't know was a premium until the #'s came out. Immediately Tracy was annoyed by this. So he reran the Performance #s but I was not able to qualify for their financing which annoyed him even more. After ignoring the obvious attitudes, I went to my plan B which was to use the check I already had in my purse for 35k and throw cash on top of it for a Glacier Blue Coupe performance they had listed for 38,995. Mike does the numbers and I'm all set to ride off in my new ride when Tracy comes out with a price that is $3000 more than the internet price (not taxes)!!!! He proceeds to tell me that on Tuesday GM went on their site and changed their prices so the price we had was incorrect. Now my plan B is the same price as my plan A. Of course I'm asking him to honor the price I had, the price they had listed on Suttlemotors.com...... He walks off!! Just walks off and they literally left us standing in the middle of their lot...Without another word! And they never return!! Mike is working with someone else. This was a poor attempt to get me to pay more because it was obvious I wanted the car. I refused...REFUSED to spend one cent in that dealership!! I'm humiliated and I wasted a beautiful Saturday (6hrs, plus an hr drive both way!!) with 2 people who didn't think I could afford the car anyway because I wanted all of the discounts and incentives!! (Even thou I pulled up in a 2002 Escalade) I was treated less than poorly today and in the end, I am happy that they did not get any of my "average Joe's" money!!

SERVICE: I brought my wife's Acadia in making unusual noises in the front driveline. The warranty ran out a few months ago. Service advisor and the Red Team analyzed the issues, suggested fixes, made them and the problems were fixed. I was given available discounts and the prices charged were fair. I was kept informed during the process and the car was delivered earlier than expected. I'm happy, my wife is happy, and Suttle's Red Team is likely happy for solving the problem, making some money for the business and making another satisfied customer. SALES. A few months ago, I purchased a pre-owned CTS-V from Suttle--awesome sales team, great prices and they bent over backwards to make sure the car was better than new--they did it too! Definitely purchase from Suttle again and told family and friends as well--6 of whom also bought cars from Suttle during the past few months.

I purchased my car in January of this year and absolutely loved my sales rep. However,I brought my 2012 Buick LaCrosse in because the bumper was seperating from the body of the car' and it was still under warranty. Jennifer, the service rep, was extremely courteous and helpful. I was given a loaner car for the day and it was repaired within 24 hrs. I loved the service!

Johnny and Tracy were great! Johnny was patient and walked me through the 3 ATS models, had them lined up and ready to go for a test drive. Once I decided, Tracy went the extra mile and found my car in SC and got it back here pretty quick. Great experience over all!!

Oil spots in my garage and a growl when I turned the wheel. Also a rattling sound from both wheels. Explained the problem to JB, my service writer. Rob the mech tech duplicated the problem and determined it to be the rack and the pwr steering pump. They kept the car over night and provided me with a rent-a-car from enterprise. The next day they said the car was ready. I turned in the rent-a-car, got in my car and all was well. Car runs fine and I was not inconvenienced. Buick has been my car since the 50s.
