Went there to look at the 2021 odyssey’s. Ended up leaving same day with one. The sales team there is great and not pushy like some other dealerships I’ve been to. I worked with Ryan. He was eager to earn my business but not pushy or inexperienced. I told him what I needed and he was able to get it done. If I had to buy the same car again I would buy from sharp Honda. They never once made me feel uncomfortable or that I was being pressured to buy that day. The deal on my car was just that good I couldn’t walk.

I purchased a new Honda Ridgeline from Sharp Honda on July 9th. I inquired about their inventory via an online request and was promptly contacted by Tom Gettler. He was very pleasant and let me know about the 3 Ridgelines that they currently had on their lot. I made the trip over to Topeka and test drove the Ridgeline that I was interested in. Tom rode with us on the test drive and explained all of the basic features. He was knowledgeable about the vehicle and did not pressure us for a sale. After a bit of negotiation, we arrived at an agreeable price for my trade-in as well as the truck that I was purchasing. The paperwork went as quickly as it could go given the amount of things that had to be filled out. If I had one complaint, it would be that the finance manager continued to try to sell me a 3rd party extended warranty even after I declined it multiple times. I understand that's part of how they make their money and he was nice about it, so I can overlook that.While inspecting the vehicle, I noticed a couple of chrome window trim pieces had some very minor damage. I am very picky about my vehicles and didn't want there to be anything wrong considering the amount of money that I paid for it. I expect a new vehicle to look and perform as such. Tom understood and has been very helpful in ordering replacement parts and scheduling a time to bring the vehicle in to have them replaced.Overall, I have been very pleased with Sharp Honda, and specifically, Tom Gettler. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others and would be willing to purchase from them again.

He helped me find the perfect car and then took the time to get my phone set up to the blue tooth as well as go through all the personalization options the Accord has to offer. The entire staff here was extremely friendly, and helpful. The experience went so well, that I wanted to leave an excellent review for the gentlemen that helped me. Although I heard that Scott Proctor was newer to the business, he prioritized my interests and took me seriously despite my age and appearance. He was precise and assisted me almost immediately after I arrived. The first car that he recommended to me was the car that I purchased, and I couldn't be happier. Also, Troy Hunt, the man who assisted me in my financing deal, was extremely friendly and helpful. He made it easy to understand my options, and really made my previous bad experiences with purchasing cars fade away. All in all, I love my Toyota Corolla. It is in excellent condition for the price and value. The first time that I popped the hood, I thought I was staring at a brand new toy. The parts, including the engine casing, were clean and in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend Sharp Honda. Their staff are a trusting, friendly group that truly know how to remember a face, and make that person feel welcome.

I was assisted by Glen. He is a great assistant with purchasing a vehicle. Glen did not push, he assisted me to find the best fit for me. I have never had an experience like this when purchasing a vehicle, it was wonderful. Glen answered all of my questions and invited me back if I had questions at a later date. When i did come back he was just as attentive as he was when I purchased my vehicle. If you do go to Sharp Honda in Topeka, Kansas you are in for a nice surprise with the service. We purchased a car from them. Found out the mirrors didn't adjust because the control motor was out nor the window on the passenger side. They didn't say a word about it. Filled it up with gas and the gauge doesn't work. They fixed the window but not on the gauge. Make sure to check everything and have them fill the tank so you know everything works. They said they disclosed the information but they never said a word to us. They define the term "used car salesman" perfectly. They will screw you any chance they have. Hope this helps someone. I wish I would have known how they lie and cheat. I wish I would of read the posts on this site earlier

I often times read reviews and wonder, who really wrote that review, and how much were they paid. However after the experience I had at Sharp Honda I've come to realize that superior customer service does truly exist and maybe people really did have the 5 start experience they wrote about. We sure did. I had heard the advertising before from Sharp Honda that they had a "proud not pushy" sales staff, and that is exactly what we felt. Aaron Rahmeier greeted us at the door, and instead of taking us right out on the lot, he brought us in, offered us refreshments, and asked some preliminary questions before opening a million car doors and showing us vehicles he had no interest in. By figuring out what we had to have, would like to have, and absolutely didn't want, he was able to narrow down his inventory quickly and show us a couple vehicles that were right in our budget. You could tell he was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles, but didn't bore us about features we didn't care about. Our trade in value was fair, the sale price was fair, and the over all value I felt I received was in our favor. Sharp Honda raised the bar for the other Topeka dealers, and gained a customer for life. Thanks Sharp Honda.

My salesman was Tom Gettler. I purchased a used car from them. The process was easy, communicating with Tom via email and phone. The car was ready for me to look at when I got there and any issues were resolved by the time the paperwork was all signed. The only delay was the fact that their financing guy was very busy that day. Overall I only spent about 4 hours there, but had hoped to be in an out a little faster. I would determinately consider buying another car from them in the future. Loved that I wasn't hounded by salesmen as soon as I walked onto the lot and was allowed to look at the car on my own.

I have a Honda Civic that I bought in Lee's Summit, Mo and have always had serviced at Sharp. As a result of the excellent service, I traded my second vehicle for a Ridgeline in 2005. I had an excellent experince then and promised myself I would go back when I needed to trade in again. Two weeks ago, I traded the Ridgeline for a CRV. We worked with Billy Ferrier as my salesman. Great time learning about the vehicle, no pressure to buy, good trade-in. Troy was low pressure with letting us make the decision about what protection we needed, using his experience, but letting us decide. I still have my Civic and will be back to Sharp when I am ready to trade in and hope I get to work with the same team.

I recently purchased a 2014 Honda, CRV and I was very amazed with the employees at Sharp Honda. JP Schmidtlein had a very warm, welcoming, and friendly personality. This made it so easy to continue my quest for purchasing a new Honda. JP was very knowledgeable about the CRV and answered all my questions. He listened attentively to what I was looking for in a vehicle. JP displayed great patience and worked with me about choosing the CRV that was right for me. JP Schmidtlein , Joe Schmidtlein , and Troy Hunt had an awesome chemistry and great team spirit. All of these qualities makes Honda a great place to shop at. These three men played a very important role in my decision to purchase my first Honda. :0) I have been so pleased with my CRV. It is very spacious with ample leg room throughout the car. I am totally enjoying the the sun roof, and the back up camera. I have an extra big trunk that holds all my groceries. I traded for a vehicle I had seen on the lot about 5 weeks ago. I met Billy Ferrier at that time and he gave me details regarding the car without any overt pressure to purchase. I was mainly curious about the car, wanted some history etc. and wasn't necesarrily in the market to buy a car. In the mean time, he sent me a little note in the maiI thanking me for dropping by. I have been a customer at Sharp Honda for several years (and several Hondas) now and the service has always been excellent. The service rep I deal with, Mark, is wonderful to work with/through. He has always been very friendly and helpful and I always ask for him because of that. He is a great person to work with. One time in the recent past a large bird (hawk) struck the side of my windshield and messed up my windshield wiper. I took it in to Honda Service and Mark had it fixed for me in under five minutes. He fixed it himself. The only issue I have had was on purchase of new tires. Honda has them priced too high. I found the exact same brand that I have bought at Honda before for a little over $200.00 less at Performance Tire and Wheel. They were a nice set of Yokohama tires.

My father and I recently purchased a 2013 Honda Fit from Sharp here in Topeka. I am 23, and a commuting student. I drive alot between here and Lawrence, and decided the Fit would be a good choice for my needs. From start to finish the entire buying process with the dealership was smooth and pressure free. Aaron Rahmeier was our salesman, he told us he had began working at the dealership not too long ago, yet he was still knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and happy to help us with our questions. We both went on a test drive with Aaron and shortly afterwards decided we were going to take the car. I must also mention we had trouble for a couple weeks in finding the time to come and look at the car in the first place, so we had just arrived at the dealership about half an hour or so before they closed. Aaron and all the other employees that worked with us ended up staying at least 45 minutes after close, if not longer, to help us get the car that night. All of which were patient and cheerful. I believe Dan Bartuccio was another salesman who assisted us and Troy Hunt was very helpful and patient withfinances. Lastly, we were given a tour of the dealership and the service shop. Everything was organized and I felt comfortable knowing there was a place I could trust with maintenance. And the fact that the first three oil changes are free is a plus. I want to thank all the employees who helped us out, especially Aaron who has also been very courteous and professional in following up with the sale. He has called an appropriate amount of times to check how the car was doing and if I was satisfied with the purchase. My answer to that question is yes. I now have a little over 1,000 miles on the Fit and am looking forward to adding more. If you're looking for a Honda or even if you're unsure I would highly recommend visiting Sharp if you want a pleasant dealership experience.

I went to several dealers when looking for a car, in order to get a feel of what car I wanted. I went to Sharp Honda first, they were all very informative and very nice. They all seem to have a good sense of humor. Rob Walton is a very nice dealer, he let me make the decisions on what I wanted in color and style. I did go to several dealers after that and decided after going to 3 other lots that the Honda Accord was the car I wanted. Rob Walton, was very patient with me, he did not call me and preasure me into making a decision like the other dealers did. I felt very comfortable around the dealers at Sharp Honda. I would recommend to everyone I know that wants a new or used car to go see Rob Walton at Sharp Honda. He and the other dealers at Sharp Honda are the best. I have bought all my vehicles and used their service for 15 years, the last being a vehicle I traded for May 18 , 2013. Robert Dolan was our salesperson, and he was very friendly , had knowledge about the chevy car we were looking at. He went out of his way to be helpful . The service area is always quick, and has a comfortable waiting area with free snacks and drinks . I like being able to see into the service area from the waiting room. I have seen many of the same faces over the last 15 yrs, so the staff is stable and that makes me comfortable with the quality of the service.

I had an excellent experience with Dale Sharp Honda when purchasing my 2013 Honda Pilot EX-L. The salesman, Rachid Lagrini, was not pushy, took his time explaining everything to me and showing me how everything worked. He made sure I knew how to use each feature of my Pilot before leaving the lot that day. He even took the time to set up my phone with the Bluetooth feature. I have heard negative things about Sharp Honda in Topeka so I always service my Honda cars in Manhattan or Lawrence but when I went to look at the new Honda Accords, I was pleasantly surprised by the saleman, Rachid Lagrini, and his patience and customer care. Although I was looking for an EX, he took the time to show me in detail the options and unique aspects of the EX-L. When he saw I was still unsure, he took the same time and detail to share with me about the Civic EX-L and when I left without purchasing, he was not pushy and did not seem annoyed. However, there were a couple of other salesman that he spoke to in an attempt to answer some of my more difficult questions and both of those salesmen were what I consider rude and condescending to him. When I left that day, he convinced me that I wanted the Accord EX-L but I had decided I would NOT be buying from Sharp Honda because of the way they treated him in front of me. The next day, Rachid contacted me to see if I had anymore questions and asked me to come down and test drive an Accord. I told him I might come down but began negotiating with Jack Ellena Honda in Lawrence. Towards the end of the day and the height of my annoyance with the car haggling Ellena Honda was taking me through, Rachid reached out to me again, I gave him the lowest price I wanted to pay, he countered with a reasonable amount within my desired range and I went down and began the process of purchasing the car. I cannot speak of my experience without mentioning the help of Todd in financing. I had my own financing secured and Todd, using his 16 years of experience and excellent customer service, told me he was pretty sure he could find me financing with a lower interest rate and that is exactly what he did. Thanks to Todd and Rachid, my experience as a female purchasing a brand new car in Topeka for the first time was positive. When I arrived to pick up the car after Rachid had it detailed, he was helping another customer and someone else attempted to hurriedly acclimate me to my new car and its new features. He was very impatient and anxious to respond to the text messages he was receiving on his phone. He kept asking me if there was anything else I wanted to know but it's a new car, how do I know what I needed to know? Nevertheless, I left the dealership and was not far when I realized I had multiple questions about the features that I had not noticed until I drove away. I contacted Rachid and he was very willing to help me in any way needed. Aside from Rachid and Todd, not sure that I personally would go back to Sharp Honda because of the other employees, but if one was looking to purchase a new car, I have NO hesitations about recommending Rachid Lagrini! He is the best!!

Joe Schmidtlein and Billy Ferrier were fantastic to work with when purchasing my new Pilot recently! Billy was very nice and very knowledgable about the pilot and he always has a smile on his face. Horrendous experience -purchased certified used car; found out later that the vehicle had sustained frame damage prior to my purchase. Took the car back and they would only let me trade it in -- taking a significant loss. If you look at the other reviews on this site there is a person who mentions a similar situation -- that was the person they sold the car to once I took it back to them.Avoid this group at any and all costs.

I went to Dale Sharp Honda to test drive a CR-V and a Ridgeline. Tom G., the salesman who helped me was pleasant and very accomodating with all of my questions and requests.I wanted the Ridgeline and drove off the lot with the Ridgeline after only about 45 minutes. I would NOT recommend this dealership to anyone!!! Dale Sharp sold me a Honda S2000 that they claimed was certified! Yes I paid more for the certification and the car is worth NOTHING. I went to trade it in because we needed a bigger car and another dealership stated the car had severe frame damage. Well I looked up the carfax that Dale Sharp was supposed to give me and there was the accident. The accident dated a year before I bought the car. I called Dale Sharp and they refused to tell me the truth and stated they dont use Carfax. Now Im left with a piece of junk that I cant even get 1/10th my money back on because no one wants a wrecked car. Dale Sharp is a waste of time and a bunch of liars!! Stay AWAY!!!!
