Was looking for a good used car and saw that Scott Family Motors had a 2003 Toyota Camry for sale. It had high mileage so I bought a (50/50 cost) 12 month/12000mile warranty. After a about 5 months my check engine light came on & it was diagnosed as needing a new catalytic converter. Scott Family Motors not only repaired it perfectly but also said that my brakes were starting to wear & that I should replace them (Tim Scott, the owner, brought that up even though there was no money in it for him due to the warranty still covering the repair). After those repairs were made he even delivered the car to my house and picked up the loaner he had given me for the day.The staff are knowledgeable and care about their customers. They have gone above and beyond in every way. In finding Scott Family Motors, I have found a dealership and a mechanic I know I can trust without any reservation.

This owner sold me a car for my kids and did not disclose that it was a salvage vehicle, imagine my surprise when the title came. The brakes were bad, metal to metal. The tires were bald and he said tires don't really matter. He then claimed to put a new fuel pump in and less than 2 days later when my daughter and I were out of town it wouldn't start. Fpund out he put a used fuel pump in. He later told me that maybe I didn't know how to start a car. He sold me a car and did the repairs to the vehicle and he had it more than we did. Can't trust it with my children's lives.

First I was told my front end problem was just that the shocks were loose from being up in the air then I was told it was a splash guard then I was told various different things being wrong with the front end only to find out it still was making noise and felt like the front and was going to fall off within 24 hours my check engine light came on and I was told by this dealership that I didn't know how to screw on a gas cap then that turned into I didn't know what a check engine light looked like even when I pulled the codes off of it and told him. Then that turned into needing a new fuel tank put in because he told me I just overflowed the gas tank so with my children in the car I was driving a vehicle that was leaking gas and he was very aware of the problem when given the opportunity to purchase the vehicle back he said absolutely not and at that point refuse to communicate with me through email to avoid a paper trail.
