I have a little trouble with mobility due to arthritis in my knees and it is a little easier for me to climb up into and down from a truck than a car. Past experience with car dealers has resulted in many salespeople trying to convince 5ft 2in me that a car is the best fit for my needs and budget. Rene did not do that. He listened to what we were looking for in a vehicle, including make and model, was very knowledgeable about the vehicles on the lot, and which ones were within our budget. With Rene's help we were able to find the truck that had all the features we wanted. He even took into account my knees and found one with heavy duty side step rails. I am proud to tell people who ask that I got my '07 GMC Sierra from Sames!

I have already spread the word that Sames has EXTREMELY competitive prices on tires--even beat WalMart by $30 per tire!! As usual, the actual service was great. I really like dealing with Jason DeLeon --he is so good --an expert perhaps in dealing with customers. He has helped me so much in the past and continues to do so. I also like Otis --one of the mechanics. I'm not sure that he did my car this time, but he also is very helpful when I have problems. This time--last Wednesday, however, whoever did the rotation of my tires, broke the tabs off the hub cap and it needs to be replaced. I will take the car back soon so that they can put a mew one on without any expense to me.

I originally had a hard time getting a person on the line, just kept getting the recorded message. But once I did get to talk to the Service Dept, they were very helpful. I asked them to arrange a tow for my truck to the dealership the next morning. Then I called to cancel that tow as I had a membership to roadside assistance and had to leave a message. The truck was fixed on a Friday. Then Saturday the tow company Ford uses called to say they were on the way to pick up my truck!!

Everything was great except we bought a preowned car. We absolutely have to have 2 keys. I feel that should be the dealerships responsibility. Every car I've ever bought has come with 2 keys. There is only one which means that I have to contact a Mazda dealer to obtain a second key. I know that the keys are expensive but still should be the responsibility of the the dealership selling the vehicle. Other than that experience excellent.

The service I recently received was very good. The staff were professional and on point. The only thing that I did not receive this time, that I normally do is the little mileage sticker at the top of the wind shield on the drivers side that lets me know when I need to have the oil changed again.

Worse service I've ever had at a dealership. Consistent tho, took in two auto, grease on floor mats on one, grease on driver's seat of the other. Took three trips to get an inspection after I approved two new tires on the first visit. I'll never go there again!!!

Great sales, Jeff is a great guy. The only issues were with the new car. Has a couple small chips (most likely from a small stone on the road.) the wash job they did on it looked like it was done quickly, but when I had gotten home i opened the hood and some parts of the insulation on the engine were ripped off (looked like by hand or a mouse ate at it) and a very slight vibration around 65mph (could be either tire pressure, balance, or the road) but that's it. Everything else is great. I will be getting ahold of Jeff for those little cosmetic items because the car has 200 miles on it and I expect it to be spotless everywhere. Like I said Great sales, but the service and detailing department Should keep close attention to detail. Thanks yall for the new car!

Bought a F250 in April. About 4 days later received advertisement about truck/vehicle sale going on at Sames. I believe I would have got more on my trade at that time and received a better deal. However, not one word was said to me during buying process about upcoming event. Just disappointed in this and felt taken advantage of. Love the truck, staff was helpful for most part but my overall trust to be honest is not where it should be.The service guys did a great job and got me in and out with oil change. No complaints there at all.

I bought a 2015 f350 lariat took it in to have the tires removed from my old one and put on the new one. The only thing I wish is that they would have cleaned the tires and rims before they gave it back to me. The whole truck looked good but the dirty rims and tires made it look bad.

This dealership takes great care of their clients and their vehicles. Yesterday the "change your oil soon" light came on in my Edge. I work in Austin but I prefer to have all of my service and maintenance done by my dealership 35 miles away. I called them at 4:00 and told them about the service light. They told me to come on down and they would work me in before closing. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I have come to expect great customer service from Sames but this late in the day same day service was way beyond my expectations. Thanks Sames service department! Y'all are the best!

I ended up purchasing a 2011 Chevy Cruze. It was suppose to be cleaned, but I didn't look as if they touched it (inside). I was suppose to get an additional key, yet no one knows where it is at, therefore I only have one key to my car. The sales person was very nice and informative on the first car I drove, but he did not have a lot of information on the one I purchased. I think it has a problem with the transmission, but when I called the Cedar Creek location I was told that is how the transmission shifts. Over all I was happy with the sale, but took a little long.

I did not have an appointment to get my oil changed and tires rotated. They worked me right in and my wait was not long at all. The waiting room is very pleasant and inviting. I really wished they had checked the windshield washer mechanism to see if it was workig. The paperwork said they had filled the fluid, but the mechanism did not work. I have had to have the vehicle serviced for this before. I did not tell them to check, but should have. Even though the fluid is full, the mechanism is clogged. Otherwise, everything was great.

Outstanding! I called Jason in Service and asked him how much to cut and program a key for my F150. He gave me a price over the phone of which was $45.00 less than the local locksmith. I took truck and key in and presto it was done at the price quoted. Being something of a "do it your selfer" I had an additional key and asked Jason how much to just cut this one key? My thoughts was when you have two keys you can personally get the two keys to "talk" to each other and save the programming cost. He said no problem we will cut/program both keys for the quoted price. I was "blown" away. From a "Dealership"???? I am an old "ford" guy but cheated a few years with Competition because of previous Dealerships. I am back and my next vehicle will come from Ford and more importantly "Sames Bastrop". Thanks Joe

Apparently a mechanic is an earleir service misread the the instructions and perforemd only an oil cahnge, noit an oil change and a tire rotation. The mistake weas corrected and the source of a slow look in a tire (valve stem) was fixed.Jay Johnston should be commeended for deftly handing the situation.

Had my F150 serviced and could not be happier with the dealership and the service department. I thought that I might need new brakes and requested that the brakes be checked with the normal service I requested. The service manager came into the waiting room and told me that the brakes were in great shape and there was no need to do any brake work. I certainly appreciated the candor and honesty demonstrated by the service team...will definitely return the truck for any additional services.

I was very impressed with Rene Rodriquez as young sales person. I've bought quite a few new cars and trucks over the years and he was the first to know all the new electronic features and how to operate them like the back of his hand. He also knew that I was serious bought buying a vehicle and turned over the deal to the sales manager quickly and did not waste my time playing any games. I think this young man has a lot of potential for what ever he decides to pursue. This really surprised me once I found out that he had been working there less than two months. The Truck was detailed and perfectly clean when I picked it up.

Pulled into the dealer on a Monday afternoon to see if they could service my 2013 Ford Focus. I needed an oil change and tires rotated. Jason the service writer said they could do it so I proceded to the waiting area. After about 20 minutes I was called and told my car was done. Wow! The charges were very low because they looked up my service record and I had accumulated dollar points from Ford on previous visits. Service was outstanding as always from past experiences of having service done. I highly recommend them if your shopping for a new or used vehicle. Small towns always seem to have the best service departments.

We purcheased a 2011 Explorer was told it was Certified, After getting it home, we was going over the check list with the SUV, the visor was dirty over the vanity mirror, the cable port was missing the door, and the wiper blades was falling apart, Thank fully we called our Sales man and talked to him about the issues, We was told to bring it back and they would make it right. They did fix the poblems. It just makes you question what else they checked off and not really looked at. Also there was a couple of thigs checked off the SUV did not even have on it being checked as passed.Bottom line if you are going to charge extra for it being Certified make sure it is. Anybody can put a check in a box.

For a simple oil change I was told to set an appointment or wait for nearly three hours (and that was also at an "express" facility), which is outrageous. I would rather drive to Bastrop and receive better, more friendly service.

Jason Deleon is excellent at providing a pleasant, prompt and satisfying experience when I bring my Ford Explorer in for service. I appreciate his knowledge and careful attention to detail.Sames Ford bought the dealership after I purchased my vehicle from the previous owner, but I have seen many improvements in the dealership and the high level of service has been consistent through the transition to the new owner.

JayIs always helpful! I brought in my fusion, before breakfast for an Oil change and Told Jay I needed it back in 2 hours! No problem! I then left my F250 for oil change and needed it back by 5:00.. Jay called at 3:00 said the truck is ready!

I was satisfied with the service , but wouldn't call excellent. Not for a dealership experience. The customer waiting area kinda sucked. And there was underbody damage to my car that was discovered but no estimate to fix it. So why mention it if it is dismissed as unimportant. Sarcasm implied.

I could not believe how fast the service was--I had a recall and also did oil/filter change and I had barely found a magazine to read in the customer lounge before I found out the jobs were finished!Very professional in dealing with the Service Manager, and very friendly staff. I will be a continuing customer with my Ford vehicles *Crown Vic and F150)!A little bit of work on the customer lounge would be appreciated--have TV on, newer magazines or daily newspaper, Have someone check on the customers in the lounge when their vehicle is finished.

Traded my 2013 Ford Focus because of so many transmission issues. Bought a 2015 Fusion, so far I love it! My salesman was helpful but not very experienced. I would suggest that when they have nothing to do they would learn all the gadgets for these new cars! That way they could empress me with what everything does, and their knowledge of what their selling.

I look at my oil change as a quick friendly Dr visit for my car. You know what I need, what oil to use and don't try to sell me on a bunch of service I don't need. If you see a problem you bring it to my attention. I value the friendly knowledgeable staff and quick service and relaxing waiting room. Thanks James!

Good day sir, I felt compelled to let someone know how much I enjoyed my truck purchase. Chester made it a pleasure to spend some money! Hands down was the smoothest and most trouble free vehicle purchase I have ever had! Chester lined my truck up with the service dept. to take care of a few issues with my truck. David and Jason were very helpful in that process. They had the a/c serviced, replaced a door handle, tire sensors, and both windshield washer nozzle's at no cost to me! They were also very knowledgeable and courteous. Great guys! I am trying to get my dad to buy a truck there because I know he will be treated right. This is a review on the recently purchased dealership from Monday Ford to Sames Ford! All I can say is AWESOME!!! The new people and management are awesome and my Experience with Jacob was great!! I would Highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new ford or a used vehicle. They had a huge selection and got me in the car I wanted at the payments.

I called Craig and told him what I wanted and he went to the Mercedes Auction and purched one for me. He got the car to the dealership,and I traded my 2005 C230 for 2011 C300. Love my Car and it was an easy transaction. Thanks to all the staff at Munday Ford.

if your looking for a service shop that has employees that are know it all's, and tell what they THINK about your concern then this is the place for you, recently i took my car to Monday Ford for a concern of a heavy vibration. David the service writer came and looked at the car and with out test driving, or having a technician look at the suspension, David diagnosed the problem and told me that i needed tires and an alignment, that my alignment was the cause of my heavy vibration, now i am not a auto tech but that sounds like a bunch of nonsense. not satisfied with the diagnosis of my concern i took my car down the road to another shop and the technician there finds a really bad wheel bearing.I took my car to the dealer to receive excellent service and i was disappointed. For bad service come to Monday Ford and ask for david.

My Daughter recently bought a 2013 Mustang GT from Munday Ford and she raved about what a good deal she got. The salesmen she dealt with was outstanding, very knowledgeable. She said the General Manager, Craig Murphy, also made her feel "welcomed". Because of this buying experiance she said she highly recommends buying a Ford from Munday Ford.

Hello, I recently purchased a pre-owned vehicle from Munday Ford in Bastrop Texas, although the vehicle itself came from Munday Chevrolet in Elgin. Originally I test drove the vehicle around the block one evening, and it seemed like a good fit. Upon driving home to New Braunfels I noticed the hood seemed to vibrate, but I wasnt sure because it was dark. The next morning I went out to do a closer inspection, and noticed the hood was misaligned. I called the dealership, because I purchased an extended warranty under the extended warranty provider. The finance manager did the up sell, and told me it was a bumper to bumper warranty up to 75,000 miles. This initially gave me peace of mind, and they while reluctant did correct the hood misalignment. The repair took three or four days to complete, and I started having some concerns. Upon getting it up to highway speeds I noticed a lot of airflow through the front doors, in addition to leaks on each side when it rained. I didnt want to take the vehicle all the way back to Bastrop, and asked if my warranty could be used at the local Dodge dealership. Munday Ford informed me I could take it to them, and so I did. Upon delivering the vehicle to Bluebonnet I was informed that the vehicle had been in some kind of collision. I immediately went to check my carfax again, and ran an Auto check as well. Both reports came back with a clean record, and now I was under the impression that the dealers did multi point inspections, in which surely this would have been noticed. I have attempted to contact Mr. Craig Murphy, and have received no response to date, and after our disagreement over the grill and hood I expected he would behave in this unprofessional disrespectful manner. Im at a loss of what to do, and would strongly encourage people to have the used cars at any Munday dealership independently inspected, as they will not make it right or even attempt to. The behavior received is that of a typical car salesman, and I hope people can take heed and think twice before purchasing a new or used car from such a dealership. It appears now that the bumper to bumper warranty I was up sold is not valid, and no dealership will do the work. I have attached the report to my Facebook page, and will continue to inform the public of this dealers practices. I dont think its right to sell a wrecked vehicle, and after your made aware of it there should be attempts to make it right.

Negative review is on service department, not sales.Purchased a new truck from them, had a good experience/deal.Took truck in for first oil change (free, but they insisted I bring it back to the dealership). Noticed the smell of burned oil while driving and checked, sure enough the "mechanic" did not replace the oil cap but left it sitting on top of the battery. Called the next day to talk with service manager. Constantly put on hold and told he was on the other line. Finally left a message on his voicemail describing incident and asked him to call back to discuss. 48 hours later never heard from him.Bottom line: decent place to purchase a vehicle but do not take it there for any service, no matter how simple.

I contacted this dealership through their Internet Sales Department. I wanted to get information from them on two vehicles to see if they were still available, and to find out who to talk to when I went there the following night. All I received were automated responses. The other dealership in town I contacted responded not only via personal email, but called me as well. Needless to say I was not impressed. I did not even go to the dealership to look at the vehicles. And I DID BUY from the other dealership. They lost a sale!

I purchased my new 2012 Ford Explorer at Munday Ford in Bastrop, and I love it. I traded in my Armada and got a good trade value, and they brought in an Explorer just like what I wanted. This was a great experience for me and my family. I liked the time they took with me at the dealership I didn't feel rushed like I did when I went to the big dealerships in Austin. If you are looking for a Ford it is worth the time to give them a call or swing by.

The only reason I bought this 2011 F150 is due to the fact that Munday Ford butchered the repairs on my vehicle. The repairs that were done were substandard and not up to Ford specs. I will never visit this dealership again, and because of this visit, I am considering trading both of my trucks in for a different brand. Ford's customer service is no longer #1 in my book
