Alex was a great salesman to work with! The dealership itself is warm and inviting, from water and coffee however you like yours to the smiles and welcomes from all. I filled out my financing app for the wrong Rosen and Kevin and Alex were able to help get that cancelled before it hit my credit, and made filling out the app again quick and easy - my interest rate is 10% lower than my last car loan was! Zack was very friendly and made the signing process so easy! Thank you to the whole Rosen staff I LOVE my new car! If you are thinking of getting a Nissan I recommend going here first! If you stop on a Saturday you might even catch a burger off the grill in the process 😁

They told me 45 minutess, I ended up waiting an hour and 45 minutes. Customers that came in way after me get their car back first. Then once I got my car back they forgot to secure my airflow vent and my car stopped in the middle of traffic, which means that they didn't test drive it to make sure it was functioning correctly. The technician then decided to say "Oops I forgot to secure the airflow vent" if my car had stopped anywhere else that would've been extremely dangerous.

The service department at Rosen continues to diligently work on an issue with a gas valve on my rogue. They have replaced several parts along the way . Every time they are kind, courteous and caring. It has been a frustrating experience, but they have been fantastic every step of the way.

They were very professional and did not charge me for a diagnostic that would probably not have found the source of the problem without leaving the car overnight. Their waiting area is very nice with free popcorn and beverages and good wi-fi. This is not my regular dealer, but I would come back again if I have car problems again in Madison.

I purchased a used 2013 Rogue from a small lot dealer a little over a year ago. The car is great but I knew that from the experience I had on the lot I would be needing to do some maintenance and repairs in the years to come. I had a tire maintenance light come on and a few nagging issues with the passenger side steering control on the front end, as well as a heat shield that was not on properly.I called and got ahold of Bill and was told a spot was open in just a few days time. Not only was I taken care of immediately when I requested it, but a loaner was given.They did a full diagnostic and realized that most everything was due to some worn breaks and rotors.They replaced my brakes, took care of all of my other issues, at a cost that was much less than I anticipated and did it all in under 6 hours.I feel like I found the service center of my dreams with patient staff who walked me through everything and wanted to make sure that my safety came first as well as keeping a keen eye on my pocket book so that I did not need to spend a small fortune to keep my car moving.Rosen Nissan has a customer for life, when (or if I ever decide to replace this vehicle) I will plan on using them for any future purposes.Simple amazing staff and service!

my car would not start the morning I was headed out of town for vacation. I had my car jump started and drove to the enddealership arriving 15 minutes before they opened. I was suprised when the service door opened. I was greeted by Bill. He was excellent. Called for one of the techs and they took my car into the service area. I got a chance to have a very nice cup of fresh ground coffee while I was waiting. Within ten minutes Bill informed me that I needed a new battery and I would be all set within 30 minutes. While I waited every service advisors all came to check in on me. the two ladies in the service area are also very nice to chat with. So in short they had my car fixed in under 30 minutes and they even washed it!! This was by far the best service I have ever had.

I have bought my first car from Kayser (now Rosen) and have been there for every service since then. I think (hope) that the staff has been the same. I have found that they are honest and upfront in any part that needs service. I wanted brake/tires to be changed but they suggested that they are all fine. I think that they have gained my trust the year and that is more important to me than money (with their honesty they have saved me that too).

Rosen's is the gold star of customer service. I had good talks getting to know the new owners which is a first for me. I think they are not trying to be the biggest but would rather be the best. My service advisor, Al Mohr, went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable while I waited. She was very thorough going through everything that was done with my car. They washed my car for free and Aly even walked me out to my car!

I have always driven a GM vehicle and recently was driving past the Rosen Nissan dealership in Madison and was impressed by the pleasant curb appeal so I decided to stop in and check out their vehicles and labor day specials. I was greeted kindly by Ismail and we went over the type of vehicle I was looking for and he quickly got me into a 2016 Pathfinder. It was a Platinum edition and had every extra feature that I told him was important to me plus some. It also drove well and was just the right size. The process from start to finish was very quick and easy as the team that was working with me (Ismail, Jason and Adam) made sure to get me the best interest rate and monthly payment. I have purchased several vehicles in the past and this was by far the easiest and best experience. And this was also my first purchase outside of GM. It has been 2 weeks and I am still loving my Nissan Pathfinder and truly thank Ismail, Jason and Adam for meeting all my needs and finding me the car of my dreams! I recently stopped into Rosen. I was having issues left and right with my current car and needed to get something more reliable. I had a few pretty big hurdles. The first being bad credit. The second being a large negative equity on my current vehicle. The third being not much money down. The salesman, Kevin Watt was great. He treated me like a valued customer, instead of pretty much laughing at me like the other dealerships I had talked to. I wanted to get into a new Altima. I got to pick out the specific color and took it on a test drive. After only a few more total hours, I was leaving in my first ever brand new car! The total overall experience was awesome! I have already referred a couple of people to him and he now has a customer for life! Keep up the good work!!

My 2015 Nissan Murano was in for regular service and two "recall notices". The service was excellent. The service advisor, Bill Buchanan, said the work would take approximately ninety minutes and the car was ready well within that time frame. The waiting area was comfortable and quiet. The loyalty manager/owner, Angela Foresta, welcomed me to the center, gave me her card, and told me to call her if I had any issues with the car. I was impressed.In today's environment, the servicing of anything is like a "transaction;"cold, impersonal, and apathetic. The car I ended up buying was exactly what I was looking for, fell in love with it during the test drive! Our salesman, Matt, was super; will definitely recommend him to others. We came in pre-approved but still ended up sitting there for over three (3) hours?!? The staff were very polite and kept apologizing but I sincerely hope they get the financing end fine-turned. Overall I am satisfied and will recommend this dealership to others.

I brought my Versa to Rosen to handle a recall. They got me scheduled within 2 days from my call, performed the service in 4 hours (well within the amount of time they quoted), and gave me a ride both ways. They suggested some upcoming maintenance needed, but weren't pushy about it in any way.Great experience, highly recommended!

Have a problem with the air conditioner, and Aly got me in ASAP to fix the problem. Aly Mohr is always helpful, and gets the job done to my satisfaction. She goes way beyond what she has to do to make sure I am happy with the job done. If I have a problem of any kind, I always call Aly because she makes me feel I am her first priority when it comes to customer service, and I really appreciate it. I have a 2013 Nissan Sentra that has had a problem with one of my engine warning lights turned on. The problem was not an easy text book problem so I needed to take it in more than once. The service writer Aly Mohr and the service manager Bill Buchanan were wonderful to work with. They made sure that all options were explored to solve the problem and that I got the work done before my warranty expired. Friendly, informative, and dedicated to getting the job done are ways that I would describe them. I highly recommend this dealership.

I have been having Rosen Nissan take care of my pathfinder since it was new. I have only taken it to 2 other places and the price was more expensive and the same service took longer. I had purchased my previous two vehicles from Nissan back when it was Kayser. I always experienced good customer service there which is why I returned now for a third purchase. I'm happy to report that now with Rosen owning the dealership, the customer service has not only maintained the level of quality I am used to, but has far surpassed it! The extra mile the individuals there at Rosen go is more like an extra 5 miles. They all chip in to help each other out and ensure you are getting taken care of. There were a couple delays during the paperwork process of my purchase, but the Rosen team made sure to promptly acknowledge and apologize for the inconvenience and even went so far to send a gift card in the mail as a compensation. Matt and Jay were great during the process and made sure I got the car I wanted for the price I wanted. The owner and GM even made sure to come out to me to shake my hand and thank me for the purchase. You don't get that level of customer care at other places. All in all, I got a great vehicle, for a great price, and had a great experience. Will come back again and recommend to anyone.

Rosen did an excellent job on two recalls on my 2015 Altima. When I noticed also that some weatherstripping was cracked, they handled that as well. Sales representative David D. made follow-up calls to see that I was satisfied with the work. When the technician doing the weatherstripping fell behind on a previous job, Rosen arranged to get me a ride home. The service staff were gracious and professional throughout.

This was the most comfortable I've been buying a car. The guys at Rosen Madison found me the EXACT car that I wanted. If you're looking for the old time car salesman then TJ is perfect for you. If you're looking for a better way of buying a car don't go here. First off TJ wanted to sell me a monthly payment when I'm looking for a car. Then it's the old well I can't sell it for that, let me go talk to my manager BS of years gone by (we all know that's a joke). Lastly it's the lowball price on a trade in and a high mark-up on the new car. He then tells me that's the best he can do. Funny as I went to another dealer in town who offered me the exact same vehicle for $2,000 less than what TJ wanted to sell it to me for, AND offered me $1,100 more for the best TJ could do. I talked to Mark Latif who said they try to be lowest and would look into it and call me back. Well no phone call from either after a week passed, and I purchased from the crosstown dealer and couldn't be happier with the transaction as I saved $3,100 over Kayser's BEST offer. Let me change the motto a bit: Be wiser don't buy from Kayser. Pretty sad that a former customer of Kayser gets a much better deal from another dealer. On a side note, I could have saved another $500 had I gone to Milwaukee but preferred keeping my business in town.

I contacted this dealership with the full intention to purchase a vehicle. I researched the salesman reviews on website and chose to deal with TJ Kelly. I contacted TJ on Friday the 19th of February and inquired on the availability of a 2005 Nissan 350Z. TJ said he would check and put me on hold. TJ advised me that he had 2-set of keys in his hands and there were no pending contracts on the vehicle. I asked TJ again to be sure if the vehicle was available as I was driving 1.5hrs from Germantown. I told TJ if the vehicle was as nice as the pictures I would be purchasing. TJ assured me the vehicle was available and wanted to know when I would be coming. I told TJ I would be there by 12pm. I arrived and met with TJ who told me he had bad news-another salesman had taken a phone deposit on the vehicle yesterday. I expressed to TJ my disappointment for not knowing this and for the lack of COMMUNICATION amongst his team and not to mention the time and gas I just wasted. TJ continued to try and get me to test drive the car as he didn't know how solid the contract was and there was a chance of it falling through. I test drove the car and came back to dealership and was still led to believe he vehicle might be available. TJ had the sales manager come over and speak to me. The sales manager apologized and advised there was a $2000 phone contract pending on the vehicle. The sales manager and TJ both said they could locate me another vehicle which I replied was unacceptable. I advised them if they truly wanted my business they would have researched all available 350Z's at other dealerships or auction and had them ready for me to view-they didn't do this-NO INITIATIVE WHAT-SO-EVER!!!! I told both I would never step back into this dealership and would never recommend them either. I am happy to say I found a newer Nissan 350Z the next day and purchased it. The dealership I bought from treated me as all dealerships should- A Valued Customer. I truly hope Kayser Nissan is selling plenty of cars to stay in business because the way they conduct their business is causing them to lose customers and referrals.

Came back the next week and vehicle was available but had warning light on and trash in the back seat. Ended up buying a different car. Dealer has good prices but do not feel they made any effort to be prepared for either of my planned visits.

I had a terrible experience with the dealership! The salesman, Joe Lukasik, was very schmoozy and met the stereotype of a used car salesman. After purchase I requested a car manual (which was not present in the car) and a 2nd set of keys. I was promised these items, however, after weeks of calling, emailing, and texting I gave up. Joe would not respond and even the sales manager ignored my requests. That same sales manager put the wrong purchase price on the contract that they asked me to sign. This was such a terrible buying experience for me and I will NEVER be back. I will also try to dissuade any friends or family from going to this dealership.

TJ was friendly, knowledgeable about the Nissan Rogue I purchased as well as the comparable vehicles offered by competitive brands. I appreciated his honesty and effort to find the best car that met my requirements. We were interested in a reliable, low mile vehicle with only basic features in order to help keep costs down. It was great to find a salesman who made an effort to meet our demands and not try to stack on expensive features we weren't interested in. I did my research prior to going to the dealer and can say with confidence he helped us get a great price. We visited 4 or 5 other local dealers and felt TJ's service was top in the area. VIktor at Kayser Nissan was very friendly and honest. Found a Honda CR-V at Kayser Nissan in Madison, which I found out is a family owned business for several years. The vehicle was not even apart of what they usually offer but still, I was not judged or persuaded into purchasing a Nissan that was from their lot. Overall ranking was 1 in the region for the selling point of my new purchase as well. The finance staff, both, Toby and Tony were very friendly and not pushy with the warranty sales pitch either. Mark Latif was especially a great help with answering my emails after my first visit and helping me with my financing options. Tony was great in explaining all of the paperwork and services available to me. I also recently took my car in for a service check due to a blown fuse and Bill was able to figure out how it happened and helped save me from future blown fuses. My experience at Kayser Nissan was one of the best I've had at a car dealership. "Low pressure" almost doesn't describe it. This was as close to "no pressure" as I can imagine for a car buying experience. I was dealing with the Internet sales manager, Mark Latif, who is an absolute joy to work with. I was originally there to look at a couple used cars. We weren't able to come to an agreement on price. (To be fair, Kayser used car prices already align well with KB fair market values, which impressed me.) But during our conversation, Mark didn't pull any of the usual tactics that salespeople often employ to convince the buyer that they're being unreasonable to ask for any discounts.The conversation ended up turning to leasing, which was another option I had been thinking about. Mark ran the numbers, and they worked really well for my situation. I ended up leasing a new Nissan not because it was a Nissan, really, but because I very much enjoyed working with the dealership, and especially Mark Latif.Toby handled our paperwork, and he was also friendly and professional. Maybe a little verbose (how does a conversation about the car's electronics turn to a monologue about how Toby would still be using a flip-phone if his job hadn't necessitated the purchase of a smartphone?), but I didn't feel any undue pressure to purchase the extras that he presented. On the whole, Toby's handling of the paperwork rounded out a really great experience.Hopefully the service center is as great as the rest of the dealership. I have not had a chance to experience it yet.Bottom line, I would highly recommend this dealership, and in particular, MARK LATIF is the best!

I am leasing a 2015 Nissan Altima, my whole experience with Nissan has been amazing. I have never met a friendlier bunch of people. From the time I walked in the door I was welcomed with a very positive atmosphere. Mark was very quick with understanding my wants and needs, he listened and asked questions as he needed. I never felt stupid asking questions about the car that I did not understand, I did not think I would be able to trade in my car, and Dan N was more then happy to take it for a test drive and then informed me that it would be a great trade in oppurtunity. While I waited I had hot chocolate and popcorn, and met Dan Andrews who had a very interesting conversation with me, never a dull moment, I loved that my time went by quickly do to the people there who took their time out to talk me. Toby was great going through all the paperwork and making sure I left with no questions. I feel like from the time I walked through the door with no expectations on getting a car to a few hours later walking out with a brand new car I was treated like I belonged like I was a friend.

My husband and I were searching for a full size SUV but did not have a particular make or model in mind. We stopped at Kayser Nissan to look at a used Nissan Armada. We had the pleasure or working with Joe, which made our decision to purchase from Nissan a done deal. After working with Joe through different options that they had, we had decided that we were going to purchase from him regardless. I used to work in the used car sales business and have purchased several vehicles over the last 10 years. I own a Cadillac and the service that I receive when dealing with them is outstanding and my experience has been that no other dealership or sales rep has matched that experience. Joe changed that perspective. He was honest, straight to the point, accommodating and made our buying experience one of the best we've had if not the best we've had. According to Nissan when you show up they have an express technician that you do not have to make an appointment for oil changes.. So i pulled in wanting a simple oil change and they stated they couldnt do one til monday. I have been in the auto industry for years an this is bad customer service...but she suggested i go to kayser ford they could do it. I dont think ill b using kayser for anything

I came into Kayser knowing exactly what I wanted to buy. Unfortunately they didn't have the car I was looking for in stock at that time. However that did not stop this great team of professionals from helping me get the car I was looking for. In less than two weeks they had located a vehicle that fit my needs at a dealership in Pennsylvania. I received a call from TJ Kelly making sure that the car they found fit all of the criteria that I wanted before they went ahead with the purchase. 24 hours later the car was on its way. TJ didn't waste my time trying to convince me to buy a similar vehicle or one that didn't have the features I was looking for - he really listened to me, respected my individual consumer needs, and bent over backwards to facilitate the deal. But it didn't stop there. Once I showed up to sign the papers TJ introduced me to Tony Scialabba who is the best finance worker in the business. With only a few short questions he identified exactly what I needed, and more importantly, what I didn't need. He didn't try to upsell me on plans and features that made no sense to someone in my position and he provided me with a loan and warranty package that is so amazing I almost can't believe it is real. I cannot recommend TJ and Tony enough for all of the hard work they put into making this the best car buying experience since Henry Ford sold his first Model-T. These guys really know their stuff and if you want to squeeze the best value for your dollar out of your new car then do yourself a favor and talk to these guys. If you're like me they'll help you track down exactly what you want, but if you're not sure what you are looking for they're also so knowledgeable about their trade that they will help you come to a decision that you will not regret.

My daughter and I went to look for dependable car for college. First car we sat in was perfect, BUT previous owner a smoker-slight odor-dealbreaker. We eventually narrowed it down to two vehicles. I have been on the market looking for a compact SUV for more than 3 months. Finally I zeroed-in on Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue with not much to choose between them. The sales experience at Kayser tilt my decision towards the Rogue. A lot of this has to be attributed to Mark. Through out these 3 months, I have had discussions with many people across brands. Unlike other sales guys with their intimidating/pushy/unattached tactics, he made me feel relaxed throughout the process. We completed the sales cycle within 3 days!

Kayser has a great selection of vehicles and TJ Keyll helped me with finding my dream car!!! I called on Thursday and spoke with TJ and said I needed to test drive a car that had not even been safetied yet. He got right on it and let me know it had been safetied and I could come and drive it. I called him the next morning at 9:02AM and asked if I could come in a half hour or so to test drive. He said he would have it ready and he did! He took me out on a great long test drive (not just up and down the beltline) to get a feel for the Rogue. He showed me the great features with the vehicle and I knew it was the right one. Then I got the pleasure of meeting Dan Andrews the Manager. Dan was super friendly and he treated me like I was family. I also got the pleasure of working with Toby Oganezov the Business Manager. He did an amazing job explaining everything and helping me understand things. Toby really was remarkable!!!! :) All I can say is this team is great and I will recommend you all to everyone I know! I spent a month researching my car buying options. Kayser's prices brought me in the door, but their customer service and honesty led me to purchase from them. I will only buy from Kayser as long as I live in the Madison area and here is why:1) I did not want to finance, I brought cash, NEVER ONCE WAS I PRESSURED INTO FINANCING!2) Honesty. Dick Quinn and Toby were top notch sales people. 3) Knowledge of inventory, these guys went to work for me.4) Quality car - I am REALLY happy with my car. I waited a month to write this review because I wanted to see if anything about the car was off, it's a really solid car. I will only go through these guys from now on.

My search started online with several emails. We went in to do a test drive of the Nissan Murano and was referred to a salesperson, Viktors. He was great. Went for a test drive and he pointed out all the features and explained how they worked. We decided to buy, picked our color and he told us it is the most difficult color to get right now but promised to search the area for one. After a couple of days, he told us that he just wasn't able to find one within the required driving area. We decided to relook at colors and ended up going with the Java w/black leather interior. I actually love it, although it's not a real exciting color it is rich looking with the dark interior. Anyway, they were very willing to deal with me and we got a very good price based on all of my research and I do lots of online information gathering before I make a purchase of this magnitude. Was very happy with my experience with Kayser and Viktors! Went down without an appointment and came home the same day with my new Murano!

I mainly deal with Ally in service and she always keeps me up to speed on timing, cost, and any additional repairs I might need to vehicle. I've owned a 2014 Altima S for just two months. I was told the CVT vibration that shakes the whole car is "normal". This service dept claims they can't do anything to solve the problem. Have driven other 2014's that had but a fraction of the vibration this car exhibits. You must make sure you only test drive Altimas when the CVT is at normal operating temp. My mistake was test driving the car when it was zero degrees outside (the vibration was minimal). We'll probably dump the car for something with a real transmission, not a CVT!

From the moment that my wife and I walked in we felt comfortable, like we were guests first and customers second. We knew what car we wanted to test drive but we're not familiar with it. Vik greeted us right off and after we told him that we were interested in the leaf, he gave us the opportunity to sit down and talk about everything we needed and wanted to know. He showed us all of our options so we could compare and decide on how we wanted to go home with our lease and then what we wanted it to be as our car. We test drove the car with him and he gave great explanations of the vehicle systems that this car has no shortage of. We didn't feel overwhelmed because we took everything at our pace and we understood the vehicle because he took the time to make sure we got the information that we needed. After the test drive our hearts were set so we sat down to get the ball rolling. We were never pushed to get this over that and never heard 'this is just a little more and look at all you get'. Everything was detailed to us and we chose what we wanted done to the car. Done. Our car had to be brought in from a bit of a distance, detailed in the shop, parts had to arrive and we still had to finalize paperwork. Vik found the car that night and had the car on its way right away in the morning. My wife and I wanted to buy this car together and that meant being at Kayser at the same time for signing. We have crazy schedules so that proved to be difficult but we found an opening the next day when we could do that. Vik had the day off that day but he came in regardless. He and Toby got everything going and we were able to come in that night to sign everything so I could pick up the car the following day after detailing would be finished. Our experience with Toby was also comfortable. It was also educational. He gave us insight on a lot of what goes into buying a car, keeping it running and not needing to bend over backwards or pay a ton of money to do it. Our car is unique so it requires different maintenance. He showed us what was available, what it would include and how it could help us or why it wouldn't be necessary. He helped us to get the best protection for our investment. Better than that, we understood why it was more of a necessity so we felt confident that when we left on our car we made the right choices. Both Vik and Toby were so easy to talk to you would swear we had know each other for years. I picked up the car the following day and was given a full walkthrough of the vehicle, the navigation, the advanced features, how to effectively drive the car without becoming stranded and given added rosources to check out to further my education. He did such an amazing job of familiarizing me with the car that I was able to effortlessly do the same for my wife later. After a day of driving and getting used to the car we were confident we would be able to commute to work and run errands on the charge we had left for the next day. Complications had me running all over the city and I found myself with a depleted battery and no charge station. I was close enough to the dealership that I could make it there with the remaining battery. I needed to get back to work right away though. Vik set me up with a ride back to work so my car could charge and be ready by the time I was done. He didn't hesitate to help and I didn't even feel like I had burdened him at all. I even had my accessories that I ordered waiting for me when I came back which he helped me put in. I have been to other places for cars and bought from other places. They were mostly the same. Kayser is very different. We bought a car but received much more. We feel welcome here and they are always willing to help us with anything that we need. I was amazed that calling them was more like calling up a buddy than contacting a business. We have found the last place we will ever purchase a car from. I have already been spreading the word to people I know who are looking to replace their clunkers that they need to come here even if they have others in mind. A huge thanks to everyone there. A scale of 1 to 10 is used to measure normal situations with normal people. So when I say they earned 11s I hope that explains my full meaning.

We bought a 2013 Rogue last year and didn't have the best experience. However, we thought we would try them again. We now liver much father away so we were leery about driving all the way for nothing but we were wrong. MUCH better experience, great price, great saleperson for only being with the company a short time, and lastly finance was quick and easy. Experience was so worth it and we love our 2014 Pathfinder!! I went to nissian looking to purchase a truck that had low miles and was in great condition. Alred was able to meet with me right away and get me into the vehicle for a test drive. This was a great start, Alfred also had all of the paper work prepared and carfax printed out for me. We then went to Toby to talk about financing the vehicle and he was able to give us a great deal from one of the local banks. I inquired through Kayser Nissan's website last week about a used vehicle. Tyler promptly emailed me back about it & we ended up going over what I was looking for & my situation (trade, money owed on the trades, etc.). By the time I came in a couple days later, Tyler already had some vehicles in mind for my wife & I to look at. After doing some test drives & working on numbers with Tyler, we ended up trading our vehicles in & leasing 2 new ones. Because it was a Saturday & we had a loan with some negative equity on the trades, it took a while to get everything figured out but Tyler & Tony stayed after closing time to make sure we were taken care of & were able to drive our new cars that day. I had an excellent experience buying a new Nissan Leaf from Alfred Hall at Kayser Nissan. I came in on a Wednesday after work on a whim after getting an online quote, and Alfred answered all of my questions while making me feel very comfortable. I left with a fair written quote, and ended up agreeing on an even better deal over email the next day. We arranged for me to pick the car up on Friday, and he made sure the paperwork and the car were all ready to go when I got there. I spoke with Peter over the phone regarding a auto lease. He return calles with a quote. Jay promise a service that was not delivered at time os signing. Toby was way off on the pricing. It was a waist of my 2 hours in the office, where it should only take 30min. Jay promiced to include a simple service plan to include oil change and tire rotations free of charge for 3 years. This agreement was not kept. The quote from Peter and Jay was 277.49/month lease. Toby offered 387/month lease. We ended up with 282.22/month without the service plan. I was disappointed at the tactic of the agents involved. I bought the the 2014 Nissan Rogue because I wanted to. I could have gone elsewhere.

The sales part of the experience was very good - friendly and responsive from first contact on through the sale. I was a bit turned off by the "after sale" marketing and pressure to buy additional products I wan't interested in. What made it more uncomfortable was the proximity of the finance office to the draft from smokers outside. As someone who reacts very negatively to smoke this made the prolonged experience worse. In general, though, I liked Kayser, liked the way they handled the sale and would return the next time I'm in the market for a new vehicle.

Everyone I met at Kayser was friendly and engaging without being pushy. They made the process of buying my first new car as easy as 1-2-3. There weren't a lot of hoops to jump through and everything was explained clearly and with great detail. From going over all the ins-and-outs of my new Nissan to explaining how the loan payment process worked, I didn't leave the dealership with any questions about what had happened (or doubts about my new purchase!) Would like to have had the features on the Ford Escape explained/pointed out. Was listed at $13,985 on internet, however after having time to reread agreement I see that I paid $14,134.00. Not sure why. Realize should have caught before signing.test drove in town, would have liked to have taken on highway, it seems noisy. Not sure if it's the tires or if it's just the way Escapes and this size suv's are. Which with all the Escapes seen on the highway I would find that hard to believeFelt uncomfortable discussing vehicle with salesman out in showroom, desk /cubicle would have been nice.My first experience purchasing a vehicle on my own, realize need to ask lots of questions and take time reading BEFORE signing.

I recently bought a beautiful low mileage Murano. Dan Cichorski helped find me the perfect car, and made the whole experience fun and special. Kayser Nissan was by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. They really took care of me. They were never overbearing. I started working with Yeong Cahill last year. I came in and test drove a Nissan Xterra and loved it, but decided to hang onto my Ford Escape for a while longer. I continued to keep in touch with Yeong through email. He always answered my emails right away and was always friendly. When I finally decided to trade in my Ford Escape I got in touch with Yeong and told him which Nissan Xterra I was looking at and he got me set up right away for a test drive and got me set up with the Business Finance Manager, Toby Oganezov. Toby was absolutely wonderful to work with as well. I absolutely loved working with Toby!! He got me the loan term I wanted, explained everything thoroughly to me. Talked to me one on one about getting extra coverage for my car in case it would break down and need major repairs. Kayser has been a Madison institution for many years and believe it to be a good company. Whether timing, personnel or just new norm for car sales in todays low expectation of customer service world my experience was less than satisfying. Immediately after purchasing vehicle, found an exterior flaw that was not on vehicle when test driven the evening before. Though there was verbal concerns to rectify the situation, there was more communication from my end for follow up than from Kayser for 1 1/2 weeks. If my situation was a concern and looking forward to repeat sales, would have expected more effort from their end. Ultimately after 2 1/2 weeks and many frustrating days waiting for answers, our car buying experience was less than stellar but must it clear, Kayser did make it right, I would still recommend purchasing a vehicle from Kayser, however do be advised of a $150 fee added to the purchase for them to do paperwork of which was not advised of until time of closing.

Andrew Trawinski puts the "win" in Trawinski. And after my car sale I most defiantly left feeling like a winner. He made the process so comfortable and easy it was hard to walk away feeling anything less than satisfied. Not to mention how easy he is on the eyes. Joel was very knowledgable about the Nissan Altima and went out of his way to make sure I liked the vehicle and how it drove. On the evening we purchased it, he pulled the vehicle into the service bay and showed me every gadget it had! I was very impressed with that and appreciative for the lesson. I love the car!We had our mechanic look the car over and he did mention a loose tie rod. When we contacted Kayser, the response we received was that it was a used car and not perfect but they could check with Dan to see if Kayser would help us with the repair. The answer I was expecting was to bring the car in and have a Kayser mechanic check it.

I was disappointed that they sold me a used 2012 car with a tire that was punctured on the side wall. Costed me a repair same day, which manager wouldn't cover due to "discounts" or "cuts" on my sale. However Toby and Brandon had good customer etiquette and were always available for me when I had questions.

When I first visited Kayser Nissan I had no idea what vehicle I wanted. I gave my requirements and preferences to Joel and he suggested a couple lightly used vehicles on the lot (an older Pathfinder, a 2013 Pathfinder and a Marano). I took all for these for a test drive and decided on the 2013 Pathfinder. We then emailed each other back and forth for a couple days. I asked questions. He very promptly and professionally answered, made suggestions and we went forward with the paperwork. The price was great the experience was great and 4 days later I drove away in my new used Pathfinder. It was exactly what I was looking for and Joel knew it before I did. Thank you!!!!I need to also give Tony, the finance manager a BIG thank you. He went above and beyond in helping me clear the lien holders off my 1999 Jeep trade in title. Our experience at Kayser Nissan was perfect!Joel (sales consultant) came out to greet us and asked us questions to familiarize himself with us as customers as well as to familiarize himself as to what we were looking for in a used car. We test drove 5 used vehicles - BMW 335I, Acura TL, Infiniti Q37, Nissan Maxima, and a Mercedes-Benz C300. It was a cold day and Joel had started all the vehicles to warm them so we would be able to better enjoy the test drives.He helped to explain all of the trade-in options and let us know that Kayser wanted to establish the best trade-in price from the start. It worked so well that way. There was no need to haggle back and forth about our trade-in's value, making the used car purchase process that much easier.He also took the time to get to know us as people. As we talked, he shared information with us about his family and his hometown and his interests. It was more about getting to know us than it was trying to sell us a vehicle and move on to the next customer. It was six in the evening and Viktor was dressed to the nines. Clean cut - framed in wire rimmed glasses - which can be off-putting, but as I ogled all the shiny new cars in my haggard, worked in clothes, with a pocket book not made for new things, he pressed his polished leather toes into the slush that encompassed the lot, and smiled as his outstretched hand caught mine. I knew I was dealing with someone genuine. After the requisite introductions, Viktor wafted past the vehicle my partner and I were eying and said, So, you are interested in the Leaf?Vik listened to our story intently, leaning easily against the chilly wind. We came prepared; knew that we were interested in an electric vehicle, knew that the mileage was limited, and Vik did not condescend. He never treated us as anything less than people searching, as he acted as our guide.As we entered the Leaf, Viktor talked to us about all the meters, the bells and whistles. He pressed the gas and thrust us past the old oligarchy of combustion. He pulled the car over on the top of a hill betwixt car lights and chaos. As he transitioned to the back and let me nestle into the drivers seat smf talked me through gear changing, a fog rolled in like a blanket across our snowy mid-western expanse. The quiet of the Leaf was almost disconcerting, absolute silence, like a deafening roar of change, but Vik sat back and didn't say a word. We are so used to our noisy existence, the decibels of our car engines, the roar of passers-by, the hum drum cacophony between commercials and conversation, this hollow encapsulation of peace amidst the insulation created by the moisture in the air let me know I wanted the car.Perhaps Viktor knew. As the torque of the Leaf propelled us afar and agape, he mostly remained silent. He knew that the main draw of the vehicle was its anomalism: the silence, the lack of petroleum (oil, gas, etc.), the insane force from stop to go it has. But he let us experience these profundities on our own terms. He let the car sell itself.We came back several times and Viktor welcomed us, each time, with sardonic wit and a cup of tea; beckoning us to his table and the driver seat of the car we now call our own. He answered our questions and concerns with aplomb and earnestness, and, despite our nagging, dealt with us with uniform professionalism.You have to understand, this is my first non-used vehicle, my first dealer vehicle, my first car with the woman I love; this is a big deal. If Viktor had not been as unobtrusive, as learned, as easy going, I would have scurried off to my safety zone of malcontent. It's cheaper, I would have told myself, to fix the ball joints on my twenty-something-year-old Honda. I don't make enough for a car as nice as the Leaf. The narratives are unending for a cynic like me. But Vik made me excited to join this strange group of non gas guzzling Leaf owners; made me happy to participate in the future. I believe I and my partner are unique in electric car owners in that we do not have a garage, we cannot charge at home. This was our choice and Vik was imperative in convincing us that the car could handle our commute with ease, as it does. That we would be fine.Viktor would often stay late for us, and abided our eccentricities. He was the perfect salesman for us new-wave, potential hippie, hard working, middle-class commuters. Nissan has made the perfect car for us, and Viktor eased into the discernment of that truism, never forcing our hand. In the start of the new winter season here in Wisconsin we started looking for a new car to handle the snow. We started with doing the research online and looking over different types of crossovers. After careful consideration we came to the conclusion we should look at the Nissan Pathfinder and test drive one. We first went to the Nissan dealer near out home and they did not have what we were looking for. Also the salesman was not helpful at this location so we drove over to Kayser to see if they had something. Once on the lot Vic Lazdovskis came up and greeted us with a warm smile and a hand shake. We explained to him what we were looking for in a car and he went right to work. He did some research and told us that the model we are looking for did not come with a light interior. He did started to show us what he did have in stock in a light interior and we chose the Red with Almond and few other models but the Red stood out in the crowd. Vic was very proactive in getting us what we needed . Vic is a great asset to any sale force and adds great valve to your sales team there at Kayser. The overall experience was excellent. Salesperson, Vik, greeted me a door and reviewed my needs. On return visit he was again available to answer more serious questions regarding another model and after some discussion and before I left he introduced Toby financial person who answered a couple of specific questions and offered to evaluate one of the two trade-ins and helped arrange a time to appraise the second trade-in. And before I left, he gave me a written worksheet that was most helpful in my making a decision regarding Nissan versus two competitors. The salesperson then found the truck model and color I requested in a brief period and, as I asked, without dealer add-ons. Delivery of the vehicle was excellent. And Toby spent quite a bit of time at closing, answering further questions on service contract and financing, again in a most positive and agreeable manner. Both price and service provided were excellent.

From the first hello and initial questions Alfred asked us , I felt he was a sales person like no other we have ever worked with. He made us feel at ease and heard. He moved forward with the information we gave him and worked from there with what would not only meet our needs but who we are personally. We are not buyers that need or desire all the bells and whistles and he moved forward genuinely trying to meet our expectations in a new vehicle . His honesty, integrity and knowledge were also genuine. We'd like to say thank you to him and though we do not buy a new car frequently we will definetly buy another one from him.

He knows what he's doing, is extremely thorough, and relentless to make a sale--a good quality, not a negative one.I appreciated the fact that he was extremely attentive, followed through on what he said he would do, and took any questions or concerns I had seriously. I did not intend to leave with the vehicle and trade that I made, but that ended to be a much better solution to my transportation needs than the one I originally intended. We almost ended up with two vehicles instead of one, but could not find the used Rogue on the lot that met our needs in the extremely short time frame we had to buy--same day. I have already recommended Joel to a friend, who is considering a Nissan Leaf.

Overall my experience was solid. I would come back to Kayser Nissan again in the future. I am very happy with the 2010 Nissan Maxima so far and I appreciate that Alfred listened to what I was looking for and put me in the car that was right for me. There was no pressure or upsell on the car. I appreciated Alfred's follow up after the sale and will most likely return to Kayser if I need servicing because so far I felt like I was treated right. I just purchased a 2011 Sentra from Kayser with the help of Joel Duensing. I originally went to Kayser Nissan to look at a new 2013 Versa. There were none at the lot at the time so Joel did his best to find one from another dealership. There was a waiting period of 1-2 weeks and he called me to keep me updated several times. They were not able to find a Versa, so Joel showed me some used Sentras because they met my criteria and were priced within my budget. I ended up purchasing one of them and I love the vehicle so far.I'm only 23 years old so this was my first time buying a car and financing it through a dealership. Needless to say, I initially felt a little nervous about the situation. However, Joel was very thorough and friendly and made me comfortable throughout the process. He did not treat me as a customer, but as a friend which I feel is hard to come by in the business world these days.Tony worked with me in financing my car. He was a lot of fun and worked hard and fast to get me the best financing available and I'm thankful for it. Toby, who was also a delight, finished up some last minute things for me and then I was on my way!The staff at Kayser Nissan has great personality and flexibility all while being professional and hard working. Joel Duensing was great and very helpful to work with; he understood our needs and priorities and was able to match us up with the right vehicle. We did purchase a vehicle that had been owned previously by a smoker, which was a turn off. Joel was understanding and accommodating regarding this issue and did what he could to help minimize the odor prior to purchase. While it didn't work 100%, he has since followed up a couple times to ensure that we are happy with our purchase and to offer up suggestions. It is going away with time, but we appreciate the attention to detail. We would work with Joel again.As far as the process of financing the vehicle, it did go quickly; however, I don't appreciate the relentless attempts to be sold extended warranties and finance options after I've said no six times. We were clear as to what we wanted our monthly payment to be, and we were already maxed out, so adding an additional $50 was not an option.

Yeong Cahill was very pleasant to work with. I had already decided on a specific luxury sport SUV for sale at another dealership, and stopped in at Kayser Nissan on my way to buy the other. I ended up buying a Nissan Murano because Yeong was able to show me that it was a better value than the other vehicle, and better suited for my needs. Yeong was very friendly and informative. I would not have bought the Nissan if it hadn't been presented so clearly, and would have missed out on a great vehicle. The business manager, Tony Scialabba, that worked out the signing with us was very good also. He was very knowledgeable, and made the purchase of our company vehicle very simple. I also met a sales manager there, Jay, and he seemed a veteran professional sales rep. Yeung and Tony were personable, talked to me - not at me - and were professional, courteous, and respectful. This made my buying experience more pleasant. I would recommend talking to Yeong Cahill specifically if you're considering buying a Nissan in the Madison area.

This was my first time buying a new car and Vic made it not only an easy experience, but a very fun one. As I debated between two models, Vic was eager to point out the pros and cons of each and run back inside to grab keys multiple times so that I could test drive each car I was considering. What I appreciated most about Vic was his considerate nature- he was extremely friendly, but the least bit pushy. He understood that I needed time to make my decision, and was very helpful throughout the entire process. My mom and I had planned to have only my name on the title, but ended up going back and forth a couple of times between having her name on the title as well due to insurance reasons. Vic was extremely patient and maintained his positivity during our vacillation, even though we caused him to stay much past 5 pm. I have to say that I was a bit apprehensive about buying a new car because of the car salesman stereotype we all hear of, but Vic completely defied that stereotype and made it a very pleasurable experience for my mom and I. We will most definitely be returning to Vic in the future.

Buying a car can be a fun, yet stressful process. The guys at Kayser Nissan (and Ford!) took good care of me when I went in to purchase a car for the very first time. I was very nervous about getting a car because knowing that I had zero credit.. I figured it would be very difficult. I tried another dealership because I was interested in one car and they kept pushing me to buy a different car that I couldn't afford (even though I kept reminding them of that). I found a car for a better price (which had all of the goodies I wanted) at Kayser Nissan. Alfred Hall was very kind, not pushy, and professional. Despite me making silly mistakes here and there, being a first time buyer, he was very patient with me through the whole process and never gave me a "Are you stupid?" look even though I deserved it a few times. Big kudos to whoever did the work of finding me a good deal (I believe it was Tony? I spoke with him on the phone). I was nervous because the process was taking longer than expected, but it was worth it in the end. It took a while because he had offers for me but kept looking to find something better. I am a first time buyer with zero credit (with a co-signer who has good credit but not a steady income), yet he hooked me up with a place that offered 5.5% APR. I think that's a pretty solid deal. I never got to meet Tony in person; however, and I want to give a shout out to another Kayser employee, Jeff from Kayser Ford. Tony couldn't stay to finish the process with me, so they sent me across the street to have Jeff take care of me. My impression is that it doesn't matter if it's Kayser Nissan or Ford; Kayser in general seems to have very wonderful employees who genuinely want to help you get your car (if not, then they are extremely good actors!). Jeff was super nice and even made me laugh a couple times despite me being stressed to the max seeing how I have never invested in something as big as a car (Note to self: Need to get some anxiety meds prescribed for when I get a house haha). It was hard to let go of the car that my parents got me when I was 16 a decade ago, but I do love the Nissan Rogue that I purchased and hope that it will serve me as well as my Mustang did. Thanks to all of you for a VERY good experience!

Bottom line... Kayser gives you probably the best deal, but the customer service and salesmanship are seriously lacking! We couldn't really argue with the "sales" price of the vehicle, nor with the trade-in we received on our old car. We had done the research, and they gave us more than we were expecting, which was great. We also got a better rate and terms than we were expecting on the financing (again, we had done our research ahead of time so we knew what we should expect).However, when it came to the "soft" side of the experience, Kayser leaves a lot to be desired, and falls too much into the stereotypical "car sales" bucket -- you feel a little bit of sleaze in their customer approach. Our salesperson was not very professional in his appearance or demeanor. He wasn't very informative, helpful or even engaged in the process. We were actually there over a total of 3 days to research and test drive, make a decision, start and then ultimately finish the purchase process, plus to bring it back to have some enhancements done to the vehicle. So we had plenty of time to experience Kayser's customer service. On all three days, we felt very rushed. We were given very little information on the vehicle -- the salesperson didn't really try to help or advise us. We were left pretty much on our own. We were rushed through the paperwork. And, there were some specific questions that we didn't get the answers to until WEEKS later. Our car (which was used) was rushed through detailing, so we are having that done again (my daughter found a toothbrush under one of the seats!). There was absolutely no feeling whatsoever that, once we decided to pull the trigger, we were a valued customer. In fact, I did hear multiple, multiple times reference by both our salesperson and our finance guy on how busy they were and how late they had to stay, blah blah blah. Which is completely unprofessional. The finance guy was way too talkative, going on and on about his own (pretty stupid) life problems and decisions, when really, all we wanted to do was sign some papers and get home after a long day at work. He crossed the line from personable to Too Much Information. I also felt he was trying to wheel and deal -- a lot of fast talking without really saying anything, and then expecting us to make a decision. Thankfully, I'm not the kind of person that's going to take that easily, so I had to push him to slow down and make some actual sense before I decided on anything. We have another car that we purchased at a competitor's dealership that is well-known in the area for their customer experience, and wow, the difference is evident! How they take the time to work with customers, make sure they feel good about the purchase, the pomp and circumstance surrounding the purchase of the vehicle, and even the personalized communication YEARS after the sale is incredible. I'm just really, really glad that we did our research ahead of time and pretty much knew what we wanted. And we will NOT be taking our vehicle to Kayser for service and maintenance. We'll be taking it to the competitor's dealership that I mentioned above. Because I know we're going to be well taken care of.

My boyfriend and I began looking into cars from this dealership after the transmission on our old Intrepid started to fail. We found a barely used (<1000 miles) Nissan Versa on their website being offered for a very good price. We went to the dealership the next day and Andrew let us test drive the Versa while he evaluated our old car for a trade-in. We bought the car when we got back. We had been approved for a loan through our bank, but couldn't finalize the purchase because by this time the bank was closed. They let us take the car anyways and we made an appointment to finish signing paperwork in a couple days. No one tried to surreptitiously raise the price of the car or force any extra warranties or add-ons on us. Tony, who dealt with most of the paperwork with us, explained all of the extended warranty options very thoroughly and clearly and we ended up deciding to get a repair plan. Plus they gave us $500 off the Versa even though it would cost them more than our old car was worth to fix it.A few days later, we received a handwritten thank you note. I would never have thought buying a car could be this painless. (It's still a little painful to spend all that money, but it was spent well.) We both highly recommend this dealership. They are fair, courteous and helpful.

I met sales manager Jay and he gave me a good history of the vehicle and previous owner after the sale was finalized. Business Manager Bruce was friendly and informative regarding financing. Kayser Nissan also filled the tank with gas and washed it before I left. I was pleasantly surprised that a dealership was filling the tank with gas at $4 a gallon. The other dealerships (especially Schoepp) tried to force me to buy a car that I didn't even really like, just because it was a "good value". Schoepp even tried to make me sign a "contract" agreeing to purchase, which was handwritten on scratch paper! At Kayser, I had completely different experience. Alfred showed me the car I liked, let me test drive it, answered my questions, and left the decision up to me. He was more concerned with me really liking my new car, versus making a sale. I enjoyed working with Clay on the recent purchase of my 2012 Pathfinder. Clay, and the other salesmen, were friendly and made you feel welcome at the dealership. Pricepoint was a dealbreaker for our purchase, as this is a company/corporate vehicle purchase - and Clay was able to come through. We ended up trading in my 2008 Jeep and I feel that we were given a fair trade value. The transaction itself took longer than I hoped that afternoon...but otherwise, went well.I did end up noticing a couple of things that were not noticed or pointed out at the time of purchase. There's a dent in the front of the hood and the hood seemed to shake a bit on the drivers side, while on the highway. It was fairly windy out on my travel home, so I'm hoping this is the only reason for that. This is not something that I noticed or that was pointed out to me when we test drove the vehicle. There's also quite a substantial amount of sand, looks like beach sand, under the second and third row seating of my vehicle. It would be a good idea to clean under the seating of your vehicles before presenting to the customer. I was somewhat surprised that the sales manager, who approved purchase and trade pricing, didn't come over and introduce himself to me during the purchase. I watched him introduce himself to other customers and explain pricing to them, while I was waiting for my vehicle to be ready. Just an observation that I wanted to share.All in all, I had a very good experience and I enjoyed working with Clay. I would comfortably recommend your dealership to others.

In 2010, I purchased a brand new 2010 Altima. This was going to be my first new car purchase, and quite frankly, if I was going to spend this amount of money on a vehicle, I wanted to be particular. Andrew Trawinski wasted no time in searching to find the exact car (color, model, engine, options..) that I desired. And he had to look far....MINNESOTA! That car has been splendid for me and wife, but as she has pretty much commandeered it, when our 2002 Santa Fe needed an upgrade, it was once again my choice.This time, I went to Andrew with an exact car they had on the lot that I wanted, this time I was seeking a very gently used Nissan Certified Pre-owned XTerra. Kayser and Andrew specifically are never pushy, and I ultimately worked on the deal with them over a period of 3 days. I found their initial price was competitive, and they worked with me some as well to entice me to make the purchase with them. I was able to get fair value for my trade in, and when an issue arose right at the end of the process, myself and Andrew and the sales manager Jay were able to work through it fairly and professionally. Essentially, their was a miscommunication with a feature on the car that was no ones fault really, but still very well might have been a stumbling block had I been at a different dealership.

Clay followed up on every question I had. I test drove 3 cars and it was very pleasant. I did buy a new car and so far really like it!I gave this dealership the marks I did because it was very pleasant and attentive experience.

I was in a bit of a jam with my vehicle, barely made it into the parking lot at the dealership. Andrew and his manager did everything they could to help me drive away in the car I wanted even giving me a rental car until we were able to hash out all the details. I visited 2 different dealerships, and Kayser Nissan was the first trip. The first thing I asked was if they had a Veterans discount. Jay Hartley, the sales manager said Nissan did not have one but was respectful for anyone who has served and was willing to give me a good deal with a $100 off their cost of the vehicle through his dealership. Even though I didn't get the discount, he gave me a good deal with my trade in instead. The other dealership I visited didn't even offer a discount and said they would not go lower than the offer they gave me. So I went back to Kayser to purchase the vehicle in which they had the right color and the options I wanted. I am happy with the overall visit but wish I could have gotten an extra $500 for made trade in, would have made it a great deal. Maybe I was asking for too much, but only time will tell to see how much they are going to sell my trade in for. I had installed $3500 (new) worth of high performance parts to enhance the engine performance along with a extra set of lightweight Racing wheels with high performance summer tires (stock wheels had high performance winter tires). Andrew, my Sales Consultant was pleasant to talk to and take a test ride with. His knowledge of the vehicle inclined me to stick with buying a Nissan. Overall, I think I got a good deal and financing was a smooth process with Tony.

There are other Nissan dealers in the Madison area - why take a chance with this one. As soon as the paperwork was signed, their entire attitude changed. It's become a challenge to get issues resolved that should have been taken care of prior to delivery of the vehicle.

The dealer did not deliver on any of his promises. Delayed my delivery by up to a week. They are not interested in used car sales. Although the price was good, the service is too poor. I had the worst car buying experience ever.

To say I was given the run around would be understating. I am new in town and I wanted to go to a dealership because I believed that I wouldn't get the runaround. I brought in my 2000 Nissan for an oil change, tire rotation and to get a quote to fix my water pump. I also mentioned that my acceleration wasn't that great and asked if old spark plugs could be the issue. I was told that spark plugs could play a part in poor acceleration. I figured since they were already under the hood, I would have them change out my spark plugs as well (I4 engine with plugs clearly visible on top, 10 minutes top to change out). The guy says not a problem and doesn't mention that those 4 little spark plugs are going to triple my bill, but more on that later. Fast forward to the end result, I am told my car needs 2 grand in repairs. I tell them no thanks and when i pick up my vehicle I find that I have been overcharged but there wasn't anyone there that could help me. I pay like a good customer and go home. Upon closer inspection of my paper work I see a number of things wrong. I was charged $170 to put in 6 spark plugs. My car only needs 4 :/?? I was also charged $56 for them to tell me I need a new water pump and I quote "Inspected for vehicle to be leaking coolant. Verified customer concern. Found the water pump to be leaking engine coolant. needs new water pump" . Thats like bringing in a car with a flat tire, asking how much it will cost to get fixed and the mechanic turning around and saying youre right, your tire is flat, that will be $56 + whatever it will cost to fix.They were also kind enough to mention "Check engine light is on". I guess they are figuring I would know why since I am the Nissan certified mechanic, oh wait, I'm not, and they didn't say!The next day I call Shawn to try and sort things out, hoping he wasn't the incompetent one who put my statement together. I get on the phone with him and politely ask him to pull up a copy of my bill so we can go over it. The first thing I say is I am concerned about how much I was charged for my spark plugs. He shoots off saying it was a mistake and it should be $30 cheaper. I have to lose my polite attitude because he won't let me get a word in. I say Shawn, why I am being charged this much for 4 spark plugs in a car that was already receiving an inspection as part of the oil change. He says that it's the price that all dealerships charge. He refuses to acknowledge that it was an unfair price even though the mechanic was already checking everything under my hood. Seeing that there is no winning this argument, I decide I better take my loss and run. I ask Shawn to put the money that they overcharged me back onto my credit card. His answer is no, he is not allowed (??? currently checking into if this is legal with the BBB) He says the only thing he can do for me is give me an oil change valued at $40!(As if I am getting a deal when in fact I am being forced to revisit a place I would prefer to never see again).Finally before I get off the phone with Shawn I plan on mentioning a concern my wife brought up about this incident, which was she would have had no idea she was overcharged. I want to know what kind of action Shawn takes when customers are overcharged to ensure things like this don't happen again. As soon as the word "wife" leaves my lips, Shawn goes into autopilot, spitting out a speech I am convinced that he has memorized about how he is insulted anyone would ever say such a thing to him (I'm thinking buddy, your batting a thousand with me right now, I cant be the only one). This is clearly not the first time someone has brought this subject up with Shawn. I would encourage everyone who visits Kayser Nissan for maintenance on their vehicle to talk pricing up front and thoroughly review your statement with someone you can tell you what value you actually received for the money they are charging you before paying.Never again

Went in to look at a 2009 Kia Optima. I didnt expect to make a purchase that day but ended up purchasing this car. Jay was great along with Charles the business manager. I got a good deal on the car and was treated very well. No high pressure sales at all. There were some issues with the electronics I found out a day later and when I brought this to Jays attention the matter was quickly resolved at no cost to myself. I can confidently recommend Kayser Nissan to anyone looking for a used or new vehicle.

I recently bought a 2005 lexus from Jay Hartley at Kayser Nissan. He was very easy to work with and offered me a great deal on trade in. The car i bought was lower than everyone within 100 miles. There were a couple for less money in chicago but was afraid of the games dealers play down there being a woman. I will absolutely be back to Kayser and specifically to see Jay. Looked at a '10 Pathfinder that's still sitting on the lot after 150+ days for $23,990 with 28k miles valued by Kelley Blue Book at $21k. Offered 23k, boys wouldn't play. They must prefer to keep their cars on the lot instead of selling them to serious buyers.The tires had been switched and old ones placed. I came with financing in hand, they pushed theirs with two guys that look like they should work at funeral homes, instead. Plus, low balled me on '08 Cobalt in excellent condition with 24k miles as trade in that they would turn around and sell for 10k +. Alfred was very nice and helpful, so was Jay, but think now its an act for Jay. Anyway, wasn't about to be ripped off and ended up buying from the great guys at Hill Automotive in Portage. For the same price of the used Pathfinder with bad tires and smelly, dirty interior, I bought a gorgeous 2012 "0" miles Jeep Liberty Arctic edition 4x4 with all the bells and whistles for around the price the Kayser goons were trying to rip me off for. Mike at Hill didn't try to pressure me into anything with their "banks" and offered me a great price for my Cobalt which, I decided to keep. Thanks Mike and Sandi at Hill Automotive. I will make sure everyone knows of my horrible experience at Kayser Nissan and the creepy finance goons they pushed on us at Kayser Nissan. Will send everyone to the great guys (Mike) and gals at Hill Automotive in Portage.

I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new or used vehicle. I spent time looking at local dealerships near my home in Milwaukee and was frustrated over the haggling and negotiating. When I went to Kayser I was greeted by Jay and we sat down and talked about what I was looking for in a car, I explained what I needed and also what I wanted in a new car. I felt very comfortable at the location unlike the previous dealership who only wanted to run my credit and ask me how much money I could put down or trade in. I already new I wanted a new Altima SR and I wanted to buy from a dealership that I would feel good about coming back to. Even though there was no red carpet I felt like there was, everything was explained to me in an easy manner to understand and made sense. I didn't get as much as I wanted for my trade in but I understood why and I still got more than other dealerships offered. Even though I could have bought the same car somewhere closer for the same price I am glad I came here and will continue to make any future purchase at Kayser Nissan. Thank you Jay and everyone else.

I was looking at 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee that had been sitting on the lot for 72 days, nearly three months. They were asking $14997 and I offered $14000 even to take it today. It had major damage done to the interior due to a large dog and nearly bald tires, plus moisture damage. Jay Hartley refused and said it would be "insulting to Kayser to even look at my credit score ", which is 750, because they will not go down. He was horribly rude and unintelligent. Also I had planned on offering them a trade-in, a 2002 Mercury Cougar with just 91,000 miles on it with a brand new refurbished transmission and brand new tires and they refused to even consider it. I had recent receipts proving both of these purchases with me on hand, but they claimed that because my car is "10 years old no one would ever buy it, so it would be offensive to the dealer to look at it". I spoke to both the internet and the sales manager and ended up leaving in tears. I went directly across the street to Kayser Ford and after seeing the state I was in and hearing what happened, they were much more willing to help me and embarrassed for the behavior of their co-workers with the shared brand.

This was our first vehicle purchase via the internet, and Jay made it a breeze. Initially I was a bit apprehensive to make such a high $ purchase this way, but after a couple of phone conversations and e-mail exchange with Jay, my wife and I made the 4 hour trek from our home to Kayser Nissan. Once we arrived, we were greeted immediately, shown the vehicle we came to purchase, and provided a great overview of the vehicle with a long test drive. Jay even recommended a local restaurant to us try before we left Madison for our trip back. All-around...GREAT purchase experience, and we are loving our new-to-us SUV. I would highly recommened Kayser Nissan and Jay Hartley when deciding to make a new or used car purchase.

I attempted to purchase a used Nissan Xterra from Kayser Ford on the beltline. Salesman Rick was unprofessional, rude, refused to follow through with his statement to hold vehicle with a deposit check. I would never consider purchasing another vehicle from Kayser Ford. I ended up purchasing a Xterra from a dealership in Waukesha. They were professional and very nice to work with. Sometimes it is worth it to drive a little ways.

Buying a car that is in demand, in this case a 2011 Nissan Juke, turned out to be a trying experience. After waiting six weeks, switching dealerships, we got excellent care and a fantastic deal from the folks at Kayser Nissan. And, the deal included a trade in for a 'valued' car that had 120K miles. We had done our homework and Kayser made us delighted. The Juke is my wife's car....and she won't share! Its been a week now since purchase, and I have only gotten the opportunity to drive it once, from the dealership to home. Thanks Kayser Nissan for making me, and more importantly, my wife happy customers! Jay, thanks for listening; Mark, thanks for quickly getting to a deal I could not pass on, and Lee, you did good on the financing!

i think we got a fair deal on our car. I don't feel i purchased a lemon, which was my largest concern. we felt a little pressured on the sale but he i'm sure if we weren't he wouldn't have closed the sale. Jay was very nice. The prices were cheaper then any other dealership in the area.

I had been looking for quite a while for a new car to replace mine and shopped many dealers in Madison. I had done plenty of research and what set Kayser Nissan apart from other dealers in the Madison area was their positive attidude and great deal. Other dealers were busy telling why I shouldn't buy other vehicles while Jay Hartley was telling me what set the Murano apart. The positive attitude and good deal is why I decided to purchase from them.

I am 56 years old and this is my 3 rd Nissan, and 18 th vehicle I have owned. I have never worked with such an unprofessional service agent with an attitude that is anti-customer. Horrible!!! Because of this bad experience I will never purchase another Nissan product.

I was seen by Alfred Hall Jr a couple of times in the past two or three months concerning my interest in Nissan 370 Z's. Alfred was also my sales rep last week when I purchased a new 370 Z. This by far was the best car buying experience I have ever had. It was convenient to be able to work with Andrew initially online. Once my decision was made I went into the dealership, met with Andrew face-to-face and narrowed down the exact car from there. The whole process was very quick and painless. The dealership was Kayser Nissan, (Madison, WI) and our salesman was Clay Luttrell. We requested a quoted online and received a good price. We were impressed with the salesperson and manager. This was a changed from the other area Nissan dealership I contacted for a quote as that dealership quoted a much higher price and didn't seem that interested in earning our business. Kayser Nissan was low pressure and wasn't playing the old dealer games. My only issues were they did have us wait over a half hour on our scheduled appointment and their waiting area needs some work. We ending up not buying the Murano we were interested in because my wife, who is shorter than I, had trouble reaching the pedals comfortably. I would again consider Kayser Nissan for another vehicle purchase as they were actually nice to do business with. I know that's difficult to believe. But go ahead and try them for yourself and you'll see what I mean.
