I went in there not expecting to buy a vehicle. My sales rep Erich hardt was very helpful and worked with me to help me get what I wanted and needed all in one. The sales manager Mike worked hard to help me land on my payment and then the finance manager Angelica not only went the extra mile, she was able to help get me a lower rate and bundle in some extended warranties and dropped my payment a month. We traded in our 2014 Nissan Frontier for a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. Within 2 hours of the test drive, we were on our way home. Our sales representative was knowledgeable and pleasant to talk with. We were very pleased with the experience, however, this is what set them above in my book. The bank who had the title on my Nissan, accidentally paid off the wrong loan, and it appeared as if we would have to make payments on both vehicles until it was sorted out. We called Portsmouth Chevrolet and spoke to Angelica, who was very helpful in getting it straightened out. We ended up running over to the dealership on our lunch to speak with her. She spoke with the manager , and relayed to us it would be taken care of that day. Within an hour, the Nissan loan was paid in full. Even though it was the banks error, Portsmouth Chevrolet went to the plate and dealt with it, making both of very happy. Thank you!@

I brought my 2013 Chevy Suburban in for help diagnosing an electrical problem I was experiencing. I have a code reader and told the technician the codes being thrown were: 1. U0101- lost comm with TCM 2. U0073- Control Module Communication Bus "A" Off 3. P0700- PCM detects a malfunction in the transmission control system and a new code had just been thrown that morning: 4. P015B- O2 sensor. Ultimately, I paid $160 for the dealership to not even attempt to diagnose the electrical problem, be offered service for an O2 sensor (that didn't need to be replaced) at $380 (it's a $20 part). When talking with the technician, trying to assist in identifying the problem, the technician told me the issue could be caused by a number of things including something as small as the voltage on the battery. (I had tested the voltage on the battery before I brought it in when I was trying to diagnose the issue- it was normal). I asked the technician what the voltage was on the battery then. He told me they didn't even test it. This is when I knew these technicians did not even make an attempt to diagnose my electrical issue and charged me $160 to tell me it had the history of codes I identified before I even brought it in. I took the vehicle home, located the grounding wires, cleaned them up, and the issue has not returned. I am very disappointed in Chevy's service.

I purchased a 2013 Toyota Highlander here. I was a little skeptical since it was my first time purchasing a Toyota outside of a Toyota dealer and I am woman. The sales person was excellent and treated me with respect and professionalism. I had my financing already in place with my own bank and the finance team was able to communicate with them quickly and easily. The vehicle had a chip in the windshield which they replaced at no cost to me and scheduled the repair at a convenient time for me. Overall I was impressed with the customer service and their ability to get me in my new vehicle quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend this dealership and I will do business with them again!

They lied, plain and simple I bought a used Suburban and when I got home it was leaking brake fluid. (Great inspection huh?) I called the sales manager Chris (who up until this point was absolutely fantastic) and he said I have 2 choices: Drive 2 hours to have us fix it or since you live so far away get it fixed and we will take care of the bill. So I brought it to a Chevy dealership near me. The price to fix $737, and I sent over the bill. That was close to 4 months ago, since then nothing. Now the story that Chris told GM was: Get a quote and we will see what we can do. NO CHRIS, that's not what you told me. Read more reviews on yelp and you still start to see a theme. All I want is the money you promised me. Chris contends that the bill was too much. So basically what they are saying is: the CHEVROLET dealership I brought it to took me for a ride and they should not have to pay for it. Up next: The attorney general for the state of New Hampshire. Don't shop here.

Portsmouth chevrolet was great and our sales person Mike Mahoney was great he was very professional and easy to talk to he never made us feel pressured and was very helpful throughout the whole process even when there was a point that they had to locate the actual vehicle everytime mike told me he would keep me updated he did he called everytime he said he would he never left me not knowing what was going on!!! the dealership was completely accomodating to my schedule and clean and a great atmosphere! when we went in to get our new car they made us feel very good about our purchase i will deff being going back when its time to buy again

I stopped in at Portsmouth Chevrolet to look into buying a Silverado. Long story short I left with a brand new 2015 double cab Silverado at a great price. There was no pressure and my salesman Derek Johnson answered all my questions and showed me trucks that I was interested in, not trucks that he wanted to push on me. Derek explained to me that the sales consultants to do get paid on commission like all the other dealerships do, they get paid a flat rate which tears up with the amount of vehicles they sell per month. What that means is that you do not get pushed towards a certain vehicle that the salesman can make a lot of money on. Instead they sell you what you want at a big discount right off the top because there is no commission for the salesman to care about. The building is beautiful, clean and the staff there were great. P.S. The cookies in the service department are excellent!

Beware of the dealership. They are very friendly on the front end, but play all sorts of sleazy car dealer tricks. From spot deliveries without having financing (then approaching you weeks later for higher payments), to selling used cars as new, Lying about your financing company insisting you purchase extended warranties to get financing, etc. This is truly the worst car buying experience I ever had. When they were approached with these facts and emails from them, they became belligerent, threatening, and even threatened to take a car back that was already paid for. These are truly the worst predators and bring new meaning to a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I just bought a 2013 Chevy equinox from Portsmouth Chevy today and I could not ask for a better buying experience. My first car was a chevy and then I moved on to Toyota and Eventually bought my first Ford Escape and felt that I would never own a different make after that. My lease on my current Ford was getting ready to expire and my boyfriend and his parents just purchased cars from this dealer, after seeing the excellent service Jim Delia and Chris Stromberg gave them I decided to check out the Chevy SUV's and fell in love with the Equinox. This Equinox was located at another one of their dealerships and Jim was very quick to have it delivered to their location saving me from traveling further as I live in Maine. Jim and Chris as well as Tyler in Finance made this buying experience easy and painless for both myself and my cosigner and I can not say enough good about this dealership, I may live in Maine but I will be recommending Portsmouth Chevrolet to everyone I know looking for a vehicle and I will be returning in the future when I am ready to purchase my next vehicle. Went in on a Sunday and spoke w/ Scott (sales) and Jon (finance). We came to an agreement about my trade-in and signed what I thought was an agreement to purchase the truck. I SOLD sign was filled out with my name and Scott's name w/ the date on it and hung in the truck. We discussed things that would need to be fixed before I picked it up later in the week. We discussed finance options and we agreed that I would look at other options while waiting for the issues to get fixed and if I couldn't find any better rates, I would accept their best financing option. I sent an email on Monday asking a few questions about some of the trucks features. I received a reply email on Tuesday morning from Scott saying he was looking into getting answers for me. I received an email 20mins later telling me the truck has been sold and delivered. No aplogy and no explanation how a truck I had agreed to buy and signed a sales agreement and a SOLD sign physically in the truck gets sold twice. Seven emails later and I still haven't received an explanation or apology. Confusing, frustrating and reasonably sketchy. Maybe it was a one-off situation and that's not how they normally do business. Maybe I'm just a sucker and they are laughing at me as I type. Not how I thought it would go when I left there on Sunday. I was very happy right up until I read the email saying the truck I thought I bought had been sold right out from under me.

My day started with driving from south of Boston to NH in pouring rain and traffic........only to find the vehicle that I was coming to look at was sold earlier in the day. Jim was the person that had to give me the bad news. He stayed positive, looked at similar vehicles and pricing and immediately spoke to his manager to let him know of the situation. Ultimately, this helped the overall process and started things back down a positive course. At the end of the day, I ended up in a better vehicle with less miles and more options for a nearly the price of the original vehicle I was looking at. Jim and the rest of the crew here at Portsmouth Chevy saved the process from the start and prevented me from a long, frustrating drive home to MA......in my old truck. I would recommend Jim (and the rest of the crew here) to anyone looking for a vehicle.

No pressure sales tactics coupled with his goal of getting you in the cars YOU want and and what works best for you at your budget it's like buying a car from a good friend. Then John Leonardi steps in and gets you financed, with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge it's like he "wrote the book" on vehicle financing and is always willing to explain and walk you through the steps so you leave with a clear understanding of how it all works.... And it's that simple!!! Jay in finance goes over the paper work and a few signatures and your out the door in that beautiful new vehicle!!! I called Jim Delia to inquire about a few specific vehicles I saw listed on their website. I assumed I could not find the fine print because the prices were lower than anywhere else I had looked in New England. He took the information I provided and called me back within minutes to let me know what he had available, he also followed up with a similar vehicle that I may be interested in. He was the easiest gentlmen I have ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle. He was honest, up front and realistic about what he could do for me. He never wasted one minute of my time and did not attempt to lure me to the dealership just to get in in the door. I drove 2 hours visit this dealership and i'm glad I did. The whole process was very quick, transparent and was all explained in great detail. The prices really are the lowest I have encountered and not by a slim margin. I had purchased three other vehicles from another dealer prior, after dealing with Jim at Portsmouth I'd recommend anyone in the market for a Chevy really needs to check out this dealership and speak with Jim directly.

I purchased a used vehicle from them over two weeks ago, alas I still have not taken ownership of the vehicle. I have gotten a constant run around regarding their inspection service and their inability to get the the parts needed to certify the vehicle. None of this was mentioned when they accepted and ultimately cashed the check I gave them. I can understand mechanical and service related hangups but I receive NO communication from the sales or service staff unless I initiate it. NEVER EVER BUY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT

Talked to a salesman who said they will price match any other dealer. I sent them a legitimate quote from another dealer. Said they would call back in ten minutes. Never heard from them until two days later! It was too late! I had already purchased a car from another dealer who clearly appreciated my business and was willing to call me back with a price. We were looking for a specific make/model (used) and found that Portsmouth Chevrolet had one on the lot, so we thought we'd take a drive to go look. I got a really good deal and bought it under the kelly blue book price. I was treated with respect. My new car is completely covered with a service contract that I bought. It is nice because I have piece of mind. I can wake up every morning and drive my Sonic, get great gas mileage and never worry about it breaking down. Four steps for buying a new car: Step 1 - Research and decide which vehicle you are looking for. Step 2 - Find which local dealerships have it. Step 3 - Find which of those dealerships are sleazebags and which are decent.I would certainly have to put Portsmouth Chevy in the decent category. After visiting a few dealerships that were surprisingly worse than their ratings suggested, I was pleasantly surprised at my treatment here. Everything was very relaxed and low pressure. I was able to peruse the lot without a salesman running after me (no kidding - the previous guy literally RAN after me) and I didn't feel like I was under the gun to buy a car right then and there. I talked to the salesman, Kevin, who helped me locate the vehicle I was looking for and allowed me to decide on options I wanted (and not what HE wanted). Then it was off to step 4 - negotiate a price. No problems there. After doing the research in step 1, I knew that the price was marked down at the start and already a pretty good deal and sure enough, the price listed was the price it was going for. No last minute markups or bait and switch, just a simple "Here's the car and here's how much it is." After negotiating the trade-in (and getting the dollar value I was looking for) I was driving off in a brand new pickup truck. Sweet!I wish more dealerships would do business this way. Who wants haggle over buying milk at a grocery store? I never got that feeling at Portsmouth and I would definitely consider returning to buy another vehicle in the future.

I went in after speaking with John Mcsharry on Saturday at 5:00, John was great to get back to me with some preliminary numbers for what I wanted. We made an appointment for sunday morning and John met me there on his day off. Great customer service was demonstrated by John... After a couple hours of picking colors and options, Curt Sylvia Sales Manager was able to get me the color and some more additional options with in my budget. They worked out a great trade in value for my trade that was still under a lease agreement and there was a small amount I had to cover. Both Curt and John worked real hard to make the deal happen. Now I have my Red 2014 Silverado Crew cab with more options then I thought I would be able to get. Very happy with my experience. Krist White lied said the car we purchased was a demo car that a sales person drove. Well I was going through the glove box and found 6 rental agreements from yes 6 different people one being in VT.. I called and he said we call our loaner cars demos. Well the paper says rental!!! He hung up on me. Will never use there service or purchase from them again. I do not recommend them. Hello. We went to this dealership to look at the Cadillac they had on sale. We had been talking to Gina on there website and she recommended we go down to the dealership and to look at it. When we arrived we saw it parked out front so we went to look at it.. TWO Seconds in there was a sales person on us who REEKED of Corn Chips and looked like he threw his lunch to come help us. Fine it happens. We discover it has a seat missing in the middle ( not suppose to be there ) so it would not work for us. My wife and I agreed and the sales man was like " when don't you come in and we can see if anything else we have will work for you. "my wife and I were okay with that so we took our two children (2,6) with us into the showroom. We go there he sits in front of his computer smashes a few buttons ( obviously not happy because we didn't care much about the Cadillac) says yup we have a chevy that is exactly what your looking for. My reply what dealership is it at because I know they have multiple. He says Im not sure let me go chat with my manager and ill be right back.. Well after my wife taking the kids for a walk around the dealership she comes back and hes still not back, getting frustrated I was like Im done, lets get out of here. So my wife and I took our children and headed back to our truck to leave. I get both kids strapped into the truck and out comes johnny on the spot and his side kick the manager. " where ya going we were locating the chevy for you ? " my reply was Like let me get on the web with my iphone i can locate the car in two minutes. then he fed me some other line about trying to find other cars for us. At this point I had figured out they were eating lunch and that we had bothered them or something so they were finishing up. The manager was the rudest I have ever delt with and with someone who was all set to buy at that very moment you did a great job of making such a simple process turn really bad. PLEASE BE AWARE AND DONT GO THERE AROUND LUNCH TIME, BECAUSE THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Avoid service from dealership. Recently had my oil changed there. They told my wife that my truck, which is still under warranty, is unsafe to drive due to frivolous maintenance that they suggested which is not required nor suggested by Chevrolet. In addition they forgot to reset my oil life gauge. To top it off, they left oily residue on the interior surfaces. Worst service center ever! I will never take my truck there again!

We were in the market for a car to replace the durango we had. we were headed to look at another dealership when my husband found a Sonic online at another dealer farther from our house. My husband found that Portsmouth Chevy had one. we decided to look at that one. Well Christopher came out and asked us some basic questions. What we were looking for, what we were looking to spend and what our "must haves" were. We discussed the differences between the sonic and the cruze. The more we looked at the sonic and talked about it the more we liked it. So we took it our for a test drive and LOVED it! When we got back, my husband filled out the paperwork and we had our approval very quickly! While we were waiting, we were chatting about cars and things like that. He even engaged my 11 year old son and they had a great chat about my sons racing and where he would like to go with it! I have since taken my car back to the dealer twice (once for state inspection and to have the fabric and exterior protections done and 2nd time to have some trim looked at). Both times he was there and we chatted more. It really was like talking to someone ive known for awhile. It also turns out that we live in the same town and go to the same places. Portsmouth Chevy and Chris Bauer are awesome and we have told people about how great our experience was and is. So hopefully our recommendations to people will work out for more business for these guys! Keep up the great work!

They went above & beyond to swap over my plow wiring and push plates in a timely fashion and Logan even delivered my plow control to the restaurant that we went to after picking up the truck.

My name is Steve Kelley and my wife and I went in there looking for 2 new vehicles with not so great credit. Initially I talked to DJ since I had been referred to him by a friend. When I went in on a Sunday, Chad was ready to help us. Chad referred me to Chris, as he was going to be my salesman. Chris is a huge asset to Portsmouth Chevy. There was no pressure at all. He was very knowledgeable and made our experience one where we will be return customers and we will send everyone we know to you guys because he made us feel right at home. When we left there, we left with our fingers crossed. Come Monday, DJ, Chad and John worked all day to get me financed for 2 brand new vehicles and managed to stay in the price range I had originally hoped for. Come 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, I got the call from DJ that My wife and I would be able to come get our new cars! We were able to go in that night and sign paper work for our brand new cars. Chris even came in on his day off to make sure he was there for us in case we needed him. He even sat in our cars after we purchased them and helped set up the OnStar and went over all the functions. He told us to explore the cars for the week and when we went in on Saturday for the inspection stickers, he would be there to answer any questions we may have. Sure enough, he was there when my wife got there and took care of everything. And then came back into our cars and answered all of our questions. He went far above and beyond anything I would have expected and even stayed till after closing time for us. Chris Bauer is a top shelf salesman! Thank you Portsmouth Chevy for all you have done. I am very happy with the assistance that I received while deciding to purchase my new vehicle. There was no sales pressure at all. I had been in just a couple weeks before with a friend who was purchasing a new truck. Kevin Sweeney was her sales person as well. We both felt like he was honest and was not just "trying to make a sale".I went back to Portsmouth Chevorlet because I was impressed with her sales person and how smoothly her purchase went. I told Kevin what I could afford and what I wanted and he worked with me to make it happen. He went out of his way to find me the red vehicle that I really wanted. He could have tried to get me to buy one of the vehicles that they had in stock but he didn't.Instead he ordered a vehicle from the factory and also kept checking other dealerships to find the exact vehicle that I wanted. The finance person, Jon Miele was equally helpful. After not purchasing a new vehicle in 10+ years, I forgot how much paperwork there was! He explained everthing clearly so that I understood what I was signing and what I was purchasing. He explained options that were available to me without trying to talk me into purchasing options that I did not want or feel necessary. Other dealerships should take a look at Key Auto's approach to selling vehicles.They set a standard of excellance in their staff and in their approach to customer satisfaction. I would and will recommend this dealership to anyone I know that is considering purchasing a vehicle.

I went in to get out of my truck still owed 8000. On it got me in a new one great told me no money down come get my truck and the payment was in my range he told me 550 my other truck was 367so now my truck payment is 665 how is that a help well I will pay it and when I got there to get my new truck now tell me I have to come up with 245 dollers what a joke and then the paper work was all mess up had to have guy come to my work to do all over..well I like the truck but I will never do any business there again im a man of my word if say it I will do it the same that place should be yes they got me out of my truck but got me with it to thanks for your time.

Below I have copied and pasted my recent e-mail to Erica Kinney, Sales specialist, to sum up my total experience with Portsmouth Chevy and all the wonderful staff that so surpassed my expectations in the purchase of my new vehicle. Thank you so much for everything!Dear Ms. Kinney,Where to begin? Over the last year and a half, I have known that I needed to consider getting another vehicle and down sizing from the maintenance of two vehicles, that were, due to age (i.e. 8yrs old), and although having been maintained regularly and kept in good running order, were beginning to mount up in repair costs related to the wear and tear expected with increasing mileage.I was looking at this as a dreaded chore with the thought of having to deal with dealerships and high pressure salesman, and, being a single woman, the vulnerability and uncertainty of compromising my financial limits to possibly wind up struggling to support a long term finance in a vehicle that might be less than what my original standards and goals were in meeting this expectation.i slowly began putting my feelers out last fall. Looked on line, talked with people, and started at the Toyota dealership in Epping. This turned out to be the start of what I had in my mind, to be the beginning of that dreaded chore. Had they worked with me in regard to my pre-set financial limits, which, we all have if we are responsible within our means, I most certainly would have left in a 2011 Toyota Tacoma. Nice vehicle, good product, but, to me, it paled in comparison to my "03" Silverado. I would have lived with it okay but, in the back of my mind, it still wasn't everything I was looking for. There were no incentives and in terms of trade in value on my "03" Wrangler and my "03" Silverado, they were substandard by at least $4,000.00. I spent the entire day there, had to bring both vehicles down for viewing and test drives and to make matters worse, they picked away at trivial issues in regards to the wear of the soft top, over 8 yrs, and POTENTIALS, not even current issues, but potentials of problems that might occur due to age, to justify their trade in values. NEVER DO THIS! They lost my business right at that juncture. Any issues, or POTENTIALS, they talked about, I knew could be managed in a few hours in their repo garage for little to no money and they would most certainly make up the difference on sale once the vehicles hit their lot. They even went as far as to insinuate my mechanic was doing work on the vehicles that were only costing me money and not resolving issues and that I shouldn't allow this. My mechanic happens to be a personal friend of mine and a neighbor. To me this was way out of line. And, to boot, the monthly payment on the Tacoma was over $100.00 more than what I had stated I could comfortably afford. I left feeling as though I had not met their expectations.There you have it! Needless to say, I was not looking forward to this venture, by any means, feeling that this encounter was just a prelude to what I was going to endure in the long haul of my search.A little over a week ago, I received an e-mail from my GM card indicating that I had a $2,000.00 topped off bonus points toward the purchase of a new GM vehicle. The site put me on line to several dealerships, including Portsmouth Chevy. Being a local dealership, and out of curiosity, I logged into what might be available for 2011 Silverado's knowing that, going into a new year, most dealerships will offer good deals to release the prior years stock. It brought up the 2011 Chevy Silverado LT, 4x4, extended cab, short bed, pretty much identical to what I had, except new, of course, for $27,717.00, after $5,005.00 rebate. Another incentive was a $1,000.00 trade in value not included in this.Well, I started to think. Wonder what I would get for a trade in on my vehicles, both GM products, and with the $2,000 bonus from my GM card, and with their incentives, that maybe I should look into it. I was VERY skeptical, and truthfully, was not looking forward to it based on my recent encounter with the Toyota dealership.I was going to Portsmouth last Sunday, 1/8/12, to return a Christmas gift at the Mall, so, I told myself, while you're down there, stop in and just talk to them. Stick to your guns, make it plain and simple and if it feels like pressure or intimidation, as politely as you can, just remove yourself. It turned out to be the BEST experience I could have EVER hoped for. The first person I encountered was John McSharry. He truly made it all possible and made it all work. I don't know if he could read my sentiments by my presentation, but, he greeted himself and asked if he could help me. I remember taking a deep breath and slowly and calmly explained to him my quest in the search of a new vehicle. At that point he asked me what I was comfortable with in terms of monthly payments. From there we went to work on things. No pressure, no driving prices up, no compromising. At every step he kept reassuring, we can do something for you. And, with all the team, they did! He spent several hours with me and, from start to finish, it was all about getting me what I came for. With 6,005.00 in rebates and a $13,000.00 trade in on my vehicles, they sent me home in a beautiful 2011 Chevy Silverado LT, 4x4, with 19 mi. on it, topped it off with gas and even took the trade in on my old Silverado, site unseen. The payment was $266.00 a mo., $16.00 more than my limit, however, all in all I was pleased with the trade off. On my way home, I realized that I had forgotten to mention the $2,000 bonus points on my GM card. I thought, oh, Linda, you messed up. Well, John had given me his cell number, so, I told myself, give him a call and just talk to him about it and see if there is something that it can be applied toward to make it up. This was about 5:30 pm or so. John said, well, let me make a call and if I can reach this person tonight, I will let you know if we can do anything. Your paperwork has not gone through yet, so, I'll see what I can do. Within 15 minutes, he called back and said, "Linda, we can do something for you with this. Come in tomorrow around 2:00 pm and we'll put together new sales agreement with ANOTHER $2,000.00 in rebate." Amazing, I was soooo happy. He could hear my elation on the phone, I'm sure. I told him he was my Christmas present, that I hadn't gotten one this year. I told him he should have a great evening knowing that he did something special for someone!I went back the next day and Jon Miele, another amazing person, who put my original paperwork together, went through it all with me again and, with the extra $2,000 rebate, it allowed me to afford the Paint and Fabric treatment and stay within my limit of $250.00 mo. Even better, it turned out to be $248.00 a month and I did get EVERYTHING, and even more than what I originally set for my goal.I never expected for this to happen this way. It really was all about getting me what I wanted, within my means, and no holes barred, I would leave there no more than totally satisfied. They would not settle for any less than that! I can't remember everyones name who helped me that day and the following day, but, I most assuredly want them all to know how grateful I am for their courtesy and patience in taking me through this. They even let my dog Tiger come in out of the cold while they handled the "03" Wrangler brought in for trade. I have much to learn with this new technologically advanced Silverado, but, I know I am only a phone call away from ANY assistance I might need now or in the future. I am telling everyone I know about it and my GREAT experience with Portsmouth Chevy and their wonderful staff. I told John, I am referring ALL of my relatives, (I come from a VERY large family), friends and acquaintances to them.I know this is a VERY long expletive of my experience with Portsmouth Chevy, but, I wanted to get it all in to make sure the fine details of my experience are noted and that the individuals who all played a part in this experience are all recognized for their service to me and how MUCH I appreciate their efforts in a successful, yet, first dreaded venture. I am in the health care profession, and, I know how often things go unnoticed and are taken for granted. I wanted to make sure that didn't happen here.Thank you so much for everything. i bought a $30,000.00 used chevy 1500 ltz, they put my wifes inspection month on it and once i registered it i took it back to install my birth month inspection sticker and they failed it for tint on the front windows and they had just put a sticker on it 4 days earlier, i talked with a gentalman when i was there about my trade in truck and he bought it, no thank you for helping them sell it in less than a week on the lot. they do not appreciate there customers. there service department sucks. i will not recommend this dealership to anuone

Kevin went above and beyond to help us get the car that we really wanted. He kept us in the loop every step of the way and made sure we new every option we could explore. The financial department also worked very hard to make sure we got the payments that we needed.

They never called me with updates. Parts they ordered "overnight" came in one week later, and without all the required wiring (requiring me to wait even longer for my car). No estimates given, though requested. Not friendly. Again, they NEVER CALLED ME TO COMMUNICATE - or even seem worried that my car has been there 3 weeks and still not fixed. No offer of loaner cars or anything.

We have been talking about how decent the dealership has been since we left. My husband even said that he wished that he had purchased his most recent vehicle there. Key will be the first place we look next time (although hopefully that won't be too soon) and we have ranted and raved to our friends about how well we were treated. I was very pleased with my experience with Portsmouth Chevrolet. I did most of my dealing over the internet. I did not find a better price after checking many dealerships. They guaranteed the best price and there was no price haggling which made the expereince wonderful. The sales and financial people made the final paperwork easy. My best experience ever in buying a new vehicle. I will definitely deal with them again in the future

Had issue with truck after purchasing it (front bumber was not aligned). While trying to align it they put a big scratch in it. They were willing to fix it but I didn't trust them to do the work properly and paid out of pocket to get the bumber repainted. Also, they promise to give $100 for referalls however when I bought my truck 40K LTZ they would not give any money to the individual who referred me even after several requests. It seems that Portsmouth Chevrolet only cares about making an initial sale and does not consider return customers.
