My most recent visit was for warranty work. I noticed a white powder on the left side of the battery and brought the car in to have it checked. Our reception was very good as was the time for service. However, once again, the condition of the car was not as clean when returned as when I brought it in. When I opened the hood, there was white dirt all over the engine compartment which should have been cleaned by your technician, it wasn't. There was also dirt on the floor mat on the drivers side. Since this was battery service, we had to reset the a/c, clock, seat adjustment, all of which should have been taken care of by the technician. The problems noted above are not an exception to the rule but are the rule in the experience that I have had with Philips and yes, I have written about this before and never got an answer. If you send these surveys out, shouldn't there be a response ?

Service people were polite and kept us informed as to what was going on. We believe that the repairs they recommended were necessary and they also told us other things that would need doing, but there was no pressure to have them done NOW. We arrived on time; they took the car on time and reported to us in a timely manner. We were in and out within the time frame we expected.

First time ever in my 20+ years / 10+ car leasing / purchasing history, I had the most seamless, most professional, most respectful, and most convenient experience with Mikey Kuhn (Sales rep) and Phillips Toyota. Entire was dealing was done without me having to get up from my seat. Mikey was upfront, honest, and straightforward. Despite my hard negotiating skills, Mikey calmly and quickly responded to every single email (36+ total emails!), gave me the best offer from the very beginning.The best part was that they even arranged for the vehicle to be delivered to my home, signed the paperwork at the convenience of my home, and they took my old car back to be turned in to the lessor!Overall - a wow experience.

Through Cars.com, I found an interesting car and contacted the dealership. They responded to my email very fast. I arranged to meet the salesman (Sonny Rothwell) and to test drive the car. He met me at the appointed time and I drove the car. We sat down and I made an offer. He got approval without the usual back and forth - counteroffer, offer, etc. The paper work went smoothly and I drove off in my new car. It was the easiest car buy I have made in my 75 years. I really liked dealing with Sonny. He has since return my calls and been very helpful. I have another Toyota and have used the service center at Phillips Toyota and have been very pleased with their service.

I have owned 9 Toyota's and recently retired to Florida. I have used Phillips Toyota's Service Department three times since moving to the area in July. While the entire Service Staff has always been friendly and helpful I have been very disappointed in their overall performance. I have struggled with the following: * Long waits, even though I had appointments. (1st two visits) * Had to request an update on repair after waiting 2 1/2 hours. (2nd visit) * Service called for rotating tires but rotation was not done. (3rd visit all below) * Multi-Point Inspection sheet was barely 50% filled out. * Fluids were not topped off as called for in service. * Oil leaking from under car after oil change * Tried to contact David Newton at Toyota but his voice mail was full. I called back and left a message but my call was not returned. In my 35 years of dealing with Toyota, I have always had a very positive experience with both the sales an service aspects. This has been very disappointing for me and will cause me to move on to another dealership.

We had such a great experince with our sales men Mikey Kuhn when buying our new 2016 Camry Xle.He was the best that we ever had .Everything about our sales at Philips was outstanding. You have a great young sales man whitch will be a great asset to your dealership. Mikey gave us 110% . Philips took us away from another Toyota dealership because of there fast and curtious deal. We are returning customers to Phillips Toyota! Our salesman, Sonny Rothwell, knew us and greeted us warmly. We told him what we wanted and he wasted no time showing us two different vehicles. The buying process went smoothly without any fuss. We were in-serviced by Sonny who showed us the newest features of our van. He also set up the Bluetooth connection for our phone, how to use the steering wheel for phone use, radio and how to navigate the dash panel.

After driving our new Toyota Sienna for a couple of weeks, we returned to Phillips to ask our salesman a few questions. Our salesman was not in, but we were met by Ashley, who spent an hour going over every feature of the car and showing us how everything worked. He even set us up for voice commands for the GPS system and walked us through it until we were comfortable. If anyone has reservations about all the new features and how they operate, buy your car from Ashley. He was patient, thorough and wonderful, knowing he would get nothing for his time but a thanks. I bought a Toyota Corolla S from Phillips Toyota last week and I have never been as happy with a dealership experience than I am now!! My salesman, Richard, was friendly and very nice. He had a sharp knowledge of the brand and was respectful and helpful from the beginning to the moment I drove off the lot. The Finance Manager Dennis was also incredible! Low pressure, knowledgable and friendly. Those are traits you don't usually find in a finance manager but he breaks the mold. In all honesty, if your in the market for a new or used car, make the trip to Phillips Toyota. They are thousands cheaper than the competition and I saved more money with them than I could anywhere else. Thanks and enjoy!

Many thanks to our Sales Rep Dennis Feliciano at Phillips for an exceptional buying experience. We located the pick-up we wanted to buy and it was late in the evening. Dennis was more than willing to stay late and speak with us. We closed the puchasing process with Dennis and could not have asked for better service and sincere great sales attention with Dennis helping us every step of the way. It was an absolute pleasure doing business with Chad Howell at Phillips Toyota in Leesburg. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient in helping my wife and me trade in our two old Toyotas for a new Camry and Highlander. We have never had such a pleasant experience buying new cars. There was none of the usual high pressure or silly games that many car dealers use. Their prices were fair and there were no surprises during or after the sale. This Dealership is a class act! Everyone we met was a true professional. We highly recommend Chad and Phillips Toyota. In fact, we've been telling everyone that asks here in The Villages and one friend of ours has already asked me to go with him to see Chad to buy a new Camry.

If you are worried about haggling over price in buying a new car, go to see Jonathan Harrica at Phillips Toyota. We left the first day to think about it. Noone asked what it would take for us to sign that day. We returned a few days later and closed the deal. Jonathan was forthright and professional at every turn. We dealt mostly with Jonathan, but Richard showed us the features of the car. Both were very professional and low key, which is just what we wanted. A very nice experience. How often can you say that about car shopping?

In August we began and ended our search for a Toyota Highlander at Phillips. I called to get some information on the vehicle we were interested in and got to speak with Chad. I knew right away he was the sales person I wanted to deal with. This purchase was probably the most enjoyable car buying experience we have every had. This is my fourth Toyota purchase, and without doubt the BEST sales & buying experience of any. We responded to a mailing that indicated our 2011 Prius had significant trade in value and went on line to see what new cars were available. Chad Howell immediately contacted us and said he would help us when we came in to the dealership. We went the next day, spent a couple of hours with Chad and Tom Pardo and came home with a new 2015 Prius. It was the right color and had all the extras we wanted....at the right price. It was an excellent experience and we will continue to use Phillips Toyota for our servicing of this car. We were looking for a car that would suit my criteria before deciding to purchase a new car. We had searched at most of the dealers in the area, but didn't feel justified in buying from any of them for the lack of desired vehicle or the way we were treated. From the moment we got out of our car on the lot of Phillips Toyota, we were really impressed by the way we were treated. Chad, our salesman went out of his way to find an SUV that I was happy with. We never felt hassled that we had to buy..they never used high pressure tactics. Chad made certain we were completely satisfied and happy with our choice. After the purchase, Chad took time to explain all of the features and how to use them and made sure we knew he would be there to help us with any questions or problems. We like to trade up at least every two years so will be certain to have Chad take care of us again. If you want to be treated the way you should be, ask for Chad.

My husband and I were looking for a SUV. We looked at many cars and dealers and found the process very frustrating until my husband went in to Philips Toyata in Leesburg Fl. and looked at the Rav 4. This was our first stop in looking at new cars and Lena, our Salesperson, was very knowledgeable about the Sienna and demostrated many of the features. Justin, the Sales Manager was courteous and straight forward. We discussed a price and he stood by the price as we continued shopping and then returned to the dealership we felt we could trust and depend upon for good service. Dealing with Phillips Toyota in Leesburg FL was anything but a joy. My mother and I called the dealership and submitted all the paperwork online before we even drove over there because we didn't want to sit there for hours waiting to see if I was approved for a car loan. Days later we got a response back and I was approved. The salesman that my mother and I dealt with was named Mark Roberts and he was busy with another customer when we arrived (even though we called ahead), so we test drove it alone. I left a $250 deposit to hold the car. The next day, we called two hours ahead of time and let Mark know that we were coming and that he needed to have all the paperwork ready for me to sign because we were going after my mother got off work. We arrived two hours later and he hadn't even written out the information about the pricing for the car, dealer fees, etc. So, we had to waste time for him to fill the info and for me to sign it and then he tells me that he forgot that we needed a new title for the car. So, he had to rewrite and recalculate it. I was really starting to get annoyed because this is what I wanted to avoid. After I finally finished signing some of the paperwork, he says that he'll be right back. We had been there for an hour by the time he came back telling me that I needed to be reapproved by the bank since he dropped the price of the car. Since when does the bank need to reapprove someone for a lesser amount of money? So, we would have to come back again tomorrow to sign more paperwork and then get the car. Not only was my mother furious that we just wasted over an hour for a car that we couldn't even get that day, but he tried to lie to us saying that it needed to be reapproved. We walked out. The next day, I get a phone call from Mark saying how I had been reapproved and everything was fine and we could come in and pick up the car after signing a few things. I didn't even call back. The next day I decided to get the car since I got such a great interest rate and I loved the car. And, once again, we tell Mark to have all the paperwork ready so we can just get the car and go. Unfortunately, it didn't work out like that. We had called an hour ahead (and apparently that wasn't early enough) and he was just getting off his lunch break and he had three pieces of paper ready for me to sign. None of which being the important paperwork. He then told us that he would be right back. This time, he actually came back in under five minutes, but that was because he just came by to tell us that the paperwork was being printed right now. How many times did we have to tell him to have the paperwork ready? At this point, not only was I annoyed (again), but my mother was furious. They actually got into an argument in the middle of the room. He didn't seem to understand why she was so upset. She tried to explain that we had told him to have all of this ready, but he just brushed it off saying how they don't print off paperwork ahead of time because they only print paperwork when customers are here. That's just ridiculous. At one point, he even insulted my mother and called her a "mean person" and said that I didn't have to buy the car. What salesman doesn't want to sell a car? I was literally about two seconds away from just walking away. Luckily for him, the man who was printing out the paperwork was done and we didn't have to deal with Mark anymore. After I was (finally) done singing the paperwork, I still had to wait for Mark to come back from filling up the gas tank. I will never buy another car from Phillips Toyota again. I've never met a salesman that would yell in the middle of the show room at a customer. He probably still has a job there either because his boss doesn't know about how horrible he is or his boss doesn't care. Either way, they lost the future business of a 23 year old. Good job Mark (can you sense the sarcasm?)!

This is the third time we have purchased a vehicle from this dealer, twice new and once used. We had looked at our local dealers during servicing of our vehicles, so had an idea about the prices and policies of the local dealers. When we decided it was time to upgrade our second generation Prius, we made the drive to Leesburg from south of Lakeland (about 2 hours). Phillips has a board near the door showing what some dealers have for mark-up. I can't speak for all the tags they have, but the mark-up from the dealers in Polk County were for real. We have had the same salesman (Mark Schryver) for all our purchases, made over a period of about 10 years. It is unusual in this business for a dealer to have that kind of stability in the workforce. We arrived at 8:30 AM and left at about 12:30 PM, after having test driven two cars and gone through the purchase process, including orientation on the new vehicle. Part of the reason that we were able to conclude business that quickly was that I had done my homework and knew what "Fair Market Value" was for the car we were trading and the ones we were interested in buying. When we were offered FMV for the trade, it eliminated the need for negotiation. We recommend this dealer and salesman to family and friends when they are looking for a Toyota or a used car.

Just bought a Venza, this is the 5th car we purchased from Phillips and Mark Schryver. Great service and Mark goes out of his way to make sure we're familar with the vehicle and happy with our purchase. They didn't have the color we wanted and were happy to find the vehicle from another dealer. Tried a new dealership closer to home who's only interest was selling something from the lot and refused to give us a total price for the car with trade in until we commit to sale. We'll continue to drive the extra miles to Leesburg for the great service at Phillips Toyota

Called Internet sales department and asked for an OTD price. Mr. Chad gave me the price over the Internet it was very reasonable and over the telephone we made an appointment. The next day we drove there from Port Orange to buy the car. He was excellent and very professional and gave us no hassle whatsoever. He wasn't pushy at all like many would be. All the staff were very friendly. The dealership's environment was great. Chad is a wonderful salesman, he did as much as he could for us and was very kind. I've been buying and leasing vehicles, both new and used, from Phillips Toyota for over ten years. I do my research in advance and have always found their prices to be fair and reasonable. There is no high pressure sales at Phillips including during the paperwork process when other dealers have tried to pressure me into buying extra services or treatments. Phillips has been servicing my Toyotas for at least 13 years. Over the years their service has been very good. Lately it had moved to excellent.

Had my car serviced twice this year at Phillips Toyota. First time: oil change, rotate and balance tires and new windshield wipers. First time I drove the car in the rain, it became quite apparent that despite having order and paid for new wipers, they had not been replaced. Second time: oil change, rotate tires and install new windshield wipers at no charge. Also requested they check the car as I was planning a trip which involved a long drive. When I was called to pay for services, the usual inspection report was not provided, so I requested one. At that time I remembered that my sister-in-law had recently pointed out that one of my daytime running lights was out, so I specifically requested they ensure both of my running lights were working. When the inspection report was provided, they indicated all was well including tires, brakes, lights etc. A few days later I started my drive north and immediately began experiencing issues with my brakes. Upon arriving at my destination, my son immediately indicated one of my running lights was not working (safety issue) and since my running lights also function as my high-beam headlight, bulb, I had no high-beam headlamps during my entire drive north ( a safety issue). Ended up having my Toyota serviced at Westbrook Toyota, CT. including a brake job (better safe than sorry). I was further disturbed by the fact that Westbrook Toyota discovered that one of the lug nuts was missing on the rear tire of my car. The technician at Phillips Toyota either didn't replace it or tighten it sufficiently (another safety issue). At this point, I don't trust them.

Already a Toyota owner before moving to Florida, it was a priority to find a local dealer for service. Being totally satisfied with the service at Phillips, we decided to give them a chance at selling us the next new Toyota. In the past, car buying had been a scary and frustrating experience. We were pleasantly surprised by two of the salesmen who worked together for our good to make it all happen. Being impressed and satisfied by our "Phillips" experiences, we are now purchasing our 4th Toyota from these same two salesman. This should speak volumes to anyone reading our review. I have been looking for a used van for a while now because I have a son with Autism so getting him in and out of a car can be trying sometimes if you understand Autism then you know what I mean, he is almost 6 feet tall and I needed more room also he has seizures so I have to lay him down sometimes so it made sense to buy a van, The salesman really worked with me and was very nice so ask for JT really nice man if you want good service and good people this is the place to buy you won't go wrong.

Purchased a new 2013 Prius, Persona special edition (our third Prius and fourth purchase there). We had excellent service with sales, price agreement, and trade in. Have used their service for three previous vehicles and always had quick service with excellent results. The people are extremely friendly and the owner even personally gave us a bonus of a minimally reduced vehicle cost with a friendly hand shake. We definitely will buy our fifth vehicle at this dealership at the next designated trade in time. P.S. The follow up service of the new vehicle was also excellent.

The 10,000 mile oil change was done in record time, Bluetooth set up was accomplished by a serviceman who knew what he was doing, the rattle was a loose spare tire (it was tightened down, and the car was washed and dried to perfection. And all this without an appointment.

I recently took my 2012 Prius V to Phillips Toyota. To be honest I wasn't optimistic that my squeaky brakes would be fixed as the car had been in to another dealer twice with no results. Many excuses however The service department at Phillips went above and beyoind and I have had no problems for the past three weeks. I found the dealeship to be user friendly, timely and very willing to go the additional mile to provide quality service

I found this dealer because they were a Sams Club dealer. They're internet department offered me a car at a price that was much better than the deal they had with Sams club. They did not have what I wanted in stock, so ordered a car from the factory. When the car came in and I went to pick it up, there was a small misunderstanding about the financing part of the deal. Justin,(New car manager) stepped up and honored what I remembered the original agreement was. They give you a full tank of gas and a lifetime powertrain warranty. This is a great way to do business.

From the first meeting with the salesman, Mark Shrever, to the general manager, Justin Stoescu, I felt like I was buying my car from a family member. The whole experience was easy and they spent the time to satisfy my every need. For example, on the Toyota Avalon that I was trading in, I had a special spoiler on the back. My wife wanted a similar spoiler on the new Avalon. Toyota no longer made this product. They went out of their way to locate an after market spoiler that took many days to locate and receive. In the meantime, there was no pressure to pick up the vehicle. In addition, the negotiation for the new car was minimal and the entire process was buyer friendly and very personable. There was no hard sell and as a consumer, I felt very comfortable. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Toyota. Overall, fabulous experience!!

Justin and I discussed on line the details and when I arrived everything was as discussed and ready to go. I traveled 35 miles outside my area to work with Justin and Phillips.

Dealer just posted a car on cars.com (6/2012). I phoned several times, starting in the afternoon through evening and next morning. I also emailed through their cars.com link about their listing, several times, including asking why no return calls or emails. No one ever called or emailed back. If it is sold, phone or email back.

I just want to take the time to let the staff of Phillips Toyota know that I traveled over 700 miles to purchase my quality pre-owned vehicle and it was worth the trip. It was clean inside and out had gas and you were ready for my appointment. My new car was it the condition you said it was and the the price was excellent. I will recommend my friends family and co workers to your website to find their new or used vehicle. You also provided me with a full tank of gas. What a classy way to treat your customers I am glad I have found your dealership on-line. Great Price Great Service Great Reputation! Mark Schryver was very pleasant to deal with and always very honest with us. He gave us all kinds of information on the cars and we test drove used ones and then decided on a new for the money difference it didn't make sense not to buy a new, especially with the Toyota Care Program that comes with the cars. Mark talked to us about the Sealant on the car to protect the paint against Love Bugs' acid that eats the paint. We did not have it done before we picked up the car but did decide to have it done before Love Bug season in May. While the cars was there for that they also fixed the seatbelt plastic piece in the back seat which was not attached properly. Since they needed the car for a few hours and it was my Friday off work and needed to run all of my errands Mark gave me a loaner car so that I wasn't wasting my day setting in the dealership. Also my husband didn't like the tires that were on the car because he didn't think they were as good as some of the others on some of the other Prius' on the lot. When Mark talked with the manager about this the Manager came over and told us if he had had another 2011 Prius on the lot with the other tires he would have switched them out but it didn't have anything but 2012's now. So what he did do was give us a letter that when we needed to get new tires that he would give them to us for a discounted price. All in all our experience has been very positive with Phillips. My husband had been taking our Scion there for service before we ever decided to get a new car and he has been very pleased with the attention from the folks in the service department, I'm sorry I don't the name of the people he's been dealing with and I know is it is a Woman in the service department, a service writer I think.

From arrival to departure the experience could not have been better. Friendly staff, comfortable waiting room, a replacement car at no charge (even though I was having a 2001 Avalon repaired!), competitive pricing, and honest service. I would highly recommend Phillips Toyota.
