I don't often give pefect scores but this came close. The best way to improve would have been to speed up the transaction. (Washing the car and putting gas in it took much longer than I expected.) but I got what I needed without a lot of unnecessary haggling.

We received excellent service through Sam who is the manager of this dealership's Internet Sales Team. I was put in touch with him through the Costco Auto website. They are very misleading and will lie just to get you in the door. I was buying car for my mom so I shopped around and received other quotes from similar dealerships, I was also using a True Car discount with my perks at work. Metro Nissan said they would match the price I had received from Raceway Nissan. I sent my mom to see the car and get it. As I reviewed the the contract, they did not match, Since my mom already had the car I really had no choice but to sign off on it. AGAIN I will never shop here again! Pushy and misleading. Beware! I had opted out of GAP and they still added. I was told that the price was too low so they need to make money off the GAP... CONSUMERS BEWARE! Go somewhere else...

I came here with my husband to find a new commercial van for our business. We did some searching online for different types and prices before we headed to the dealership. Buying a car usually feels like an interrogation where each person you speak to is like a cop - judging your responses. Here at Metro Nissan they didn't rush through their questions and answers. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received at Montclair Nissan. I was overcharged almost $3,000 over asking price for my brand new Nissan Versa Note. When asked what this was due to, I was told "accessories", when all of the accessories were already included in the manufacturer's price. Not only was I overcharged, but this happened while there was a 5-day sales event. I was not offered any sort of sales price. The mark ups on the car were also very extensive and unnecessary, totaling $2,580. I ended up having to return to the dealership just to be offered the original asking price. I feel I was taken advantage of due to it being my first car buying experience and possible due to my age and sex. The entire experience was horrible, and if anyone out there is thinking of buying a Nissan car, please GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP! They claim they are giving you a fair price, but there is nothing fair about the experience I had with this dealership. Please go elsewhere, especially if it is your first time buying a car.

I don't do this often but I need this to get out. #metronissanmonteclair Has Shady business practices. My 87 year old in laws came here to look at cars. My father in law has a heart condition and was taken from here by ambulance. The next day after leaving the hospital they came to pick up the vehicle from the parking lot. The sales person from the previous day picked them off and sold them a car and not only did they raise the price of the vehicle price $3300 over MSRP and manipulated them into a very terrible car deal. Now they refuse to ale it good. We have spent hours trying to get Metro Nissan to make it right. They will not show us a dealing invoice claiming they have to make money. Did I mention that my mother in law's English isn't very good. Instead of trying to make it right they claim they are a business and are here to make money. I leased my first Nissan in 2013 at Metro Nissan. My choice then was a new Altima that my wife and I just love to drive. We greeted promptly and introduced to our salesman Samir Marrroush. When we told Samir what we were looking for he went over all the features and benefits of the vehicle we had chosen, then we went for a test drive. Upon returning to the dealership we started the process of purchasing our 2014 Nissan Rouge Select. The entire process of purchasing our new vehicle took a total of 3 hours from the time we walked on to the lot until we left with our sparkling clean, fully gassed up Rouge, and this included a tour of the dealership, and an introduction to the guys in the service department. We have purchased many vehicle and by far this was the smoothest, most professional/stress free experience we have ever had in purchasing a car. Samir even paired both my phone and my wife's to the bluetooth in our new Rouge. Everyone at the dealership that we came in contact with were great, there was not a single soul walking around with a long face as you see in some dealerships, everyone there was smiling,they were happy to be there! We can't say enough about Samir though. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the vehicle we selected we left the dealership knowing that if we had any questions we might not have thought to ask while we were there, we knew that we could call Samir at any time after our purchase and he would be available to assist us without hesitation. We will certainly refer Metro Nissan and especially Samir to all our friends and family. And from the look of our new Rouge, anyone who asks where we purchased it (because I know we will be asked) in the future as well. We will also use Metro Nissan as well for any future car purchases.

It was a big decision for us to purchase a new car and we could not have asked for better service. More than service, it was an exceptional experience. Michael listened to all of our requirements and helped us make an informed decision without reservations. The entire staff was kind and helpful. The whole process was reassuring and fun. We laughed and celebrated and knew that Metro Nissan really had our best interests at heart. Not once did Michael and his team make us feel pressured. Truly a fun and positive experience and we will encourage all to visit Metro Nissan.

The man who worked with me while I was having my car repaired at Metro Nissan, Anthony Rodriguez, was absolutely wonderful. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional, accessible and very easy to communicate with. He gave me his card, which contained the service number and a number that I could use to text him, and he replied to my text very quickly. I have taken my Nissan X-terra to the Montclair dealership to have it serviced since I have owned my vehicle. My car has 160K miles and it is still running like a brand new car. I have been able to achieve a long life span on my car through the help of Fernando. He has provided excellent customer service and is trust worthy. He treats your car as if it was his own and informs you on what needs to be done to the car and what can wait till another visit. Overall, I will not take my car to any other location.

I was looking for another car and had been communicating with some 4 other dealers , I met Mr. Gill over the internet and we began a conversation . I told him I had just Bought a car from the Nisson dealer in Corona and was very unhappy with their service dept. He assured me that that would not be the case with Metro Nisson . The negotiations stared and we bought one of your cars . If I might add , I had bought a car from Metro about 7 years ago and used that car as the douwn payment . Overall I'm happy with the rep and dealer and hope all continues in a positive manner in the future . I will be looking to trade my 2012 Rogue in within 6-8 months , and I think we'll go back to Gill to see what he can do for me for a newer Rogue . Have a good day .

I came in for an oil change. My ex wife and I have two versa's purchased from this dealership. All I wanted was an oil change and knew I had one free one left from the purchase of the car. The original advisor I called would not honor it and told me the price would be $29.95 unless I came after 5p and then it is $17. I scheduled for 5:15p. I called my ex to see if she used the oil change and she said no. I asked her what service advisor she uses at the dealership, she told me Anthony Rodriguez. Anthony stayed 15minutes late to help me. He also explained the 3 oil change deal this dealership has. Anthony did not give me the run around nor did he treat me as not important, since I wasn't paying. He treated me with the same courtesy and respect as the customer before me who had spent several hundred dollars on repairs. His customer service was exceptional in my mind and I will be coming back to have service completed with his help.

My girlfriend dropped off vehicle for an oil change. When it was done I came to pick it up, paid for my service, and waited a little longer than expected. A sales associate had to be called to confirm if I had been waiting for my vehicle, who then told me he'd bring it and never brought it out. Five minutes later he comes back hands the keys to another driver and asks him to retrieve the car. Overall the experiance was ok I just wanted to know what the wait was for when I was the only client there before the rush came in.

Raj was the most professional dealer I have ever met. Raj made my car buying extremely comfortable; the scariest than about buying a car is the dealer and the time they waste. I bought my car in Feb 2012 and only have it serviced at Metro Nissan Montclair. Each time I go to the service department the gentlemen there are very helpful, courteous, polite and friendly. They explain in detail what services are going to be done and if any complications arise an explanation is also given. I feel really comfortable with the staff at this location. Even the shuttle driver is very nice and polite. It's nice to know you can depend on a service department to fix what is needed and not try to get over just to make an extra buck. Love the guys in the service department at Metro Nissan Montclair.

Metro Nissan is excellent as always. I had a 7am appt for an oil change, tire rotation and car wash and my car was ready at 830am as promised. I received a phone call that my car was just getting washed and would be up shortly. It never seems like a long visit because they have a comfortable waiting area with coffee, snacks and free wi-fi! Can't complain!!!

Even when I'm there to have an oil change and tire rotation performed- they don't relax on their attention toward their customers. I was politely greeted when I entered the service department the service rep asked me what I wanted them to repair on my automobile. I was then asked to wait in the lounge area if I wanted to wait for my car or I could request to be taken home and then picked up when my car was ready. I decided to wait for my car. It took about an hour which was a reasonable time frame.

I bought a new Nissan Sentra and in one day I had a flat tire. I took it back for a repair, but it was unrepairable. They instead provided me with a brand new tire to replace it no charge. I brought my car in for an oil change. My service adviser Anthony Rodriguez was very professional. He noticed that my car was due for a maintenance service. He helped me pick the service that was right for my car by the mileage, and helped stay within my budget. The cashier, Daniele, helped me get a ride to work with their shuttle service. She was also very helpful and friendly when I returned to pick up my car. She explained the charges and helped me save money with my reward card. She had my car pulled up and waiting for me outside before I left the office. I felt like I was among friends.

Turns out it was covered by the vehicle warranty. My writer was friendly, capped off with my experience with service cashier, Jennifer. She was very helpful and also informed me of some of the services that were available while I waited for my vehicle to be finished up in the wash.

Service Reps and very helpful and don't try to upscale you. Also, in the waiting area they have 4 TV's, free coffee, pastries, and 3 vending machines. Great experience and close to home.

Very good service, I was helped immediately once I arrived. Everybody is welcoming an willing to cooperate will all my finaces an scheduling, also my car was being worked on as soon as it arrived in the garage. They than offered a rental car for I wont have to be stranded without a vehicle. I will have no problem returning to Metro Nissan of Montclair for my next tune up service.

I take my car here for all my oil changes and services. They always take care of me here and everyone is friendly. Sergio Gonzalez is the best tech they have here. Everyone is great, but Sergio really goes the extra mile to help me. I also had good customer service from Misty at the cashier. She was very helpful and helped me understand the One on One points program. They are all great!

I have been going to Metro Nissan Montclair now since 2009 with my Altima Coupe, and now with my 2012 Juke. When I take my car in Gordon will always check for any recalls and makes sure he knows why I am bringing my car in for service. I mostly like that they wash my car, and now they send me an email to confirm my appointment.

I took my 2003 Nissan Altima in for a gas pump. The cars needed to stay over night so the service technician got me a free rental. That was great. The best folks were the ladies in the cashiers office. Very helpful and professional. I hope my car lasts forever but if not I am going back for service.

I am very pleased everytime I go to Metro Nissan. My car runs well, they service it quickly too. I always see plenty of smiles and they even wash and vaccum it my vehicle everytime it gets seviced. They even have a jumper to keep the little ones occupied while we wait. It's a nice place with nice people.

I went to Metro Nissan to look at a used Lexus and couldn't be more happier with the experience. You always hear stories about used car buying horror, so I was worried about the cliche of used car sales experience, but everyone I came across were very professional and friendly. I worked with Raj in sales dept who walked me through the car details and test drive. George Nova who is the used car sales manager talked to me few times to make sure that I am getting the right service. At one point even the general manager came by and asked me if I have any questions or if i need any additional time to decide. The next day after i bought the car, i got a call from the dealership inquiring me if i am loving my new purchase. I realized that the battery on one remote was bad, so i called the dealership. Even though its not a regular item to cover in an used car, George went out of his way in getting the right battery for Lexus remote.Would recommend this dealership to anyone who is looking for a good deal and professional service.

Astrid Fuhrer at Metro Nissan of Montclair made a deal with me on a 350z roadster. She stated the deal included a warranty for $18,000 and would give me $4,000 more than their original offer of $20,200 for my trade. My husband and I come in to test drive the vehicle and talk to a sales rep named Luis and he says he's going to call Astrid since she was out sick. He disappeared and we left so I called the following morning and spoke with Astrid to verify the warranty included the convertible top. She says she thought we were making a deal with the other sales rep Luis when shes the manager. I was upfront with her from the beginning saying I only wanted to deal with her so I repeated that to her. So she says let me check and call you back. She calls back and says Im sure we can work something out. I said Im not interested in working out a new deal. Im interested in the same terms you promised during the week. She says oh the vehicle was on sale then and that was a couple of weeks ago. This is a blatant lie. The vehicle was still on sale the night before and was still on the day I called her. So if you want to buy a used car, DO NOT buy one from Metro Nissan of Montclair. They will lie to get you interested in a car and then not follow through with their promises.

The most pleasent experience I have had Leasing a new car. Nshan was very friendly and made me feel like a friend not a sales person. He was not pushing for the sale, something I appreciated from visiting other dealerships. He walked me through the process with patience and understanding. When I had made my decision, Monica Rogers the finance manager walked me through the final process. She explain to me with detail every aspect of the contract, being patient with me and all my questions. I have recommended this dealership to my friends and family, knowing that they will be satisfy with the great people of the dealership.

I walked in to the dealership expecting the worst as I have bought a few cars in my time. Vince Contreras was our sales person and was extremely polite and helpful. He got me into the car I wanted without any hassles. Jay was our finance guy and worked his magic in less time than expected. Our overall experience at Metro Nissan in Montclair was excellent. I took my car for it's first oil change today. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, I received the best customer service. The service department was informative when I arrived and the oil chane was done quickly plus I got a car wash. 3 different workers came up to me and asked me how I was doing and how I liked my car. I've never recieved service like this at any other dealships I've been to in the past. I'll be taking my car to Metro Nissan for all service from now on. I'm a stickler for good customer service and Metro Nissan did not dissapoint. I give them 5 stars!!

He show me Murano we test drive the murano we love the Murano and Raj experience, he show us every feature on Murano and we surprised with some of tips what we don't know about the murano Navigation and tecnology, We got great deal and we highly recomend this dealer to other People to buy the car from Metro Nissan Montclair, If possible work with Raj.

I have never been so insulted in my entire life. I decided not to purchase a car after the negotiation process broke down because they offered several discounts that seemed to disappear in the final stages. I thanked the sales people for their time and started to walk out. I then asked the financing person to shred my documents because I did not want my social security number and personal information sitting around their office. What happened next stunned me. A manager with curly hair, blue eyes, and a large build walked down his steps and asked me where they went wrong. This innocent question escalated when I pointed out that about $1500 disappeared from the discount offers. I asked him to shred my personal information and he said he would AFTER he got to get his point across. I reached over to the credit application and he yanked it out of my hands and said the paper was HIS property and it belonged to HIM I had already signed it and therefore it was HIS decision how it was used. I then requested that he shred my personal information and repeated himself. He would shred them AFTER he got his point across. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unheard of with in a customer-based business. My friend stepped in and said "don't talk to him like that" to which this sales manager snapped "I will talk to him however I want". He said he needs to shred the papers because he could get sued if he did not (wait a second... why are they starting to talk law suit?) however, I could watch him if I wanted to. I agreed but he crumpled the papers up and threw then in a bin without shredding and said "what are you still doing here?" and threw me out of the dealership. Who gets thrown out of a dealership for requesting their personal information like driver's license, home address, social security number gets shredded? This was probably because he never intended to follow through on my request. If my ID gets stolen I will know who to blame. Geeze... if they wanted to sell me the car they could have if they gave me every discount on the original document. Now I will never shop at Metro Nissan. I will never recommend Metro Nissan. I would also caution anyone to think twice when you give this company your personal information.After my story was posted on Facebook a friend said something very similar happened to her. I was lucky I guess because when she got upset after discounts disappeared in her final contract, she was disturbed enough by the dishonesty that she was threatened to be escorted off the lot by security guards. Luckily in the end she was allowed to leave on her own.A representative from the dealership eventually contacted me to offer an apology for the managers behavior. Thank you GianCarlo, it was big of you to apologize and I appreciate it. It was explained that the manager was actually not an employee of the dealership but he worked for an outside contracting company. If this is the case, it brings to light a very unpleasant and unknown practice: why is an unaffiliated individual given my records and personal information and nobody from the dealership stopped this person from harassing a customer in front of everyone on the lot?

Went to the dealer for used maxima. Right from walkin, the employees were very helpful. They had lot of cars to choose from and in pretty good conditions. Worked with Raj and there was some back and forth on price, but got a good deal. also the manager threw in few free oil changes.

We were suppose to met with Mr. Ruell, but unfortunatley he had an emergency. Got a call later from two people notifying me that car is ready for pickup. Smooth process and friendly guys. They also have a great deal on oil changes which I signed up for.

I came in and was looking for a used altima. I was approached by Patty as I came on the lot. She showed me about 4 different altimas and I wound up purchasing a used altima and have been very happy with it. My experience at the dealership wasn't like the other times that I have purchased a car. It went fast and courteous. Financing was straight and to the point. I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of like I have in the past. I have also already taken my car in for a service and the guy that helped me was fair on the pricing I guess. Just maintenance is quite expensive now a days. Thank you for being good to me and I will be back.

Purchased a used 2008 Xterra with 4000 miles. Returned it for service 9+ times. Was offered a rental back in January for service under warranty and received a bill for it in August for non payment by Montclair Nissan and have been sent to collections. Multiple calls to dealer resulted in no action as well as to Nissan USA. Xterra was eventually bought back by Nissan USA. I had to pay the rental fees to avoid credit reporting problems. This dealership is worthless.
