I had a wonderful experience at the Fletcher-Jones M-B Service Center. I took my car in for service and a flat tire. Eric took care of my check-in which was quick and handled smoothly. He even got me an Uber ride from home back to the service center when my car was ready. He explained all the work before it was done and kept me informed of my car's progress through email and text messages. I highly recommend Eric and this M-B service center.

Bryan Ward was an exceptional sales person. He was professional, courteous, transparent, patient and friendly! They bent over backwards to ensure all of my needs were met without any big hassles. This was refreshing to see in a shopping experience that’s normally filled with high pressure and lies especially in a market where there is more demand and supply. Poor communication, they said they sent an email, which was never received and when they sent it second time, magically email came to my inbox right away (as I was on call with them). Report said different charge and when I asked on phone for total amount, numbers have changed dramatically, almost 1200-1300$ difference and I am not sure, if they even did the work that was needed. Lot of upselling. Lot of delay. In case if they send you report- always have it printed or take a screen shot and save the numbers. Everything is online and they can be edited easy for their convenience.

I was looking for a Certified Pre-Owned Car and had a list of features am looking in specific. Once I have shown interest on the vehicle through cars.com , there was an apt and consistent followup to know my interest on the vehicle , its availability and my time to take a look at the vehicle. Brian was the one who I was working with and he made sure I stepped out of the dealership . I got the best car with exact features I need and for the reasonable price. I would definitely refer this to my friends.

Things got off to a slightly bumpy start but since exchanging email with the Business Manager I feel like Fletcher Jones MB of Chicago is actively involved in this sales relationship. I'm buying my car from Fletcher in Chicago, which is out of state for me. I can't make it to the dealer to do hands on, so I'm having to trust them. This level of trust is hard to just give, which made it very difficult at first. We'll see how things go over the next week when the car is delivered to me. I hope I don't have to revise down, but since the Business Manager got involved it's been making progress and smooth sailing.I think the only feedback I have beyond the problems at the initial engagement is; I would like to have seen my sales team being a little more technically enabled. There have been some challenges with sending pictures/images and short video clips via email or via SMS. In this day and age, that should not be a problem, but I'm also a Silicon Valley tech and live it every day so I realize that others are not going to be as up on tech as my peers are. The finance people are able to print to PDF and send purchase order info without any problems and I'd like to see the sales team also enjoy a more successful interaction via electronic methods... it helps cut down on phone calls or trying to make on-site visits and saves both sides time (when it works).The sales people here appear to work in teams which I think saved the relationship and gave us a chance to reset. Buying a car is all about the relationship. You have to trust the sales person and the dealer. That's not always an easy thing to do, so if you do find yourself looking for that specific car that an out of the area dealer, don't give up, someone else there may be able to step in and help.One thing I have learned from this experience is that margins on CPO are less than new cars, so if you're looking to bargain down the dealer, as I did, you may be surprised by the apparent lack of interest and/or success (or maybe I'm just a bad bargainer.

My experience here was great! Gorgeous facility and welcoming with drinks. For those that have kids, nice little play room for children to play while you look around for your next car. I came to upgrade my mother's car and Darius Dennis (312.628.4526 | ddennisatmbchicago.com) was our Sales Consultant. He was not only charming and friendly but very informative with the vehicles we had in mind to purchase. He was kind enough to explain all the latest features the truck I have in mind to buying. We took a test drive in both vehicles in which again, Darius explained in quite a bit of detail of why Mercedes is the leading engineering class of designers in vehicles. We successful upgraded my mother's car and I will be returning to see him when I upgrade my truck in a few months. High recommend seeking Darius as your Sales Consultant.

I purchased my car in the end of April and my salesperson was kind, and helpful and told me all about the car. That is what got them 1 star. Too much actually. He mentioned the mbrace free trial. He omitted that I'd need an upgrade to the system for $180. That sounds free. The Sirius trial, they didn't notify Sirius that a new owner has the car, so I had to fight for an hour with Sirius saying my trial was supposed to be 90 days, not 36. Then there was a leak in the tire I was assured was fixed we saw on the test drive and was told if it was still a problem, they would take care of it. 2 visits and a battle for the payment are 5 hours I'll never get back. Then a glitch in the nav system they refuse to correct it but acknowledge it is a problem that was a manufacturing defect but say it will cost $280. So much for the warranty and standing by their product. And if you want a loaner car, book it a month in advance. Not only will I never buy a mercedes, but fletcher jones dealers are awful. They've mastered the bait and switch. Not to mention, I had to wait 2 weeks for cup holders, floor mats, and a spare key. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS

I Was NOT given my paperwork, after the "contract signing ", in the office. I was TOLD I got a certified car, and was paying for a MERCEDES extended warranty. When I called for them to send me the paperwork, I was sent a "no name warranty" and told the car was NOT certified (had 4, 700 miles) . I had to threaten to sue, to get the warranty I PAID for. READ what you sign there.. Patrick "made it right", (used car manager)...but ONLY after I told them I would take legal action. The service department may be great-I don't know-but BE CAREFUL, when buying...

I initially called just to look at a specific used vehicle I saw online, since I was nearby. They didn't say just come in and talk, instead they said " we will pull it out for you to look at" . I was surprised at the service, they pulled it out. The dealer location made it better, about 100ft off of the Kennedy with inside parking. I wasn't planning to buy that day , but everything fell into place, the transaction was quick, everyone was great. It was fun. It was a fair deal. Wes was very helpful. After going over the vehicle myself, I see the benefit and security of certified pre owned. Anything the car might have needed was done. I have no major maintenance for a long long time . I will be going back there for my next vehicle.

The dealership has a good number of cars in inventory to choose from. So, if you like a specific model there will be several options to choose from in terms of exterior color, interior finishes and option packages. Our salesperson, Emil Johic, was extremely professional. He responded to each of our questions and had an exceptional grasp of the various models and model features. Our experience with Emil from start to finish was enjoyable. He listened and understood our objective and never tried to get us to veer away from our goal for leasing a new Mercedes. We were in and out of the dealership in 3 hours--we reviewed inventory on paper, went to see the inventory in person, test drove our top choice, came back to the dealership, negotiated to deal, turned our old leased Mercedes in, met with financing and left with a brand new GLA model. We were pleased with our prior experience at this dealership 2.75 years ago and were even more pleased this time with Emil Johic as out salesperson.

Last month, I had several thousands dollars in repairs made to a normal wear and tears to my vehicle. My driving and riding experience has been restored to like new condition. Erik McGregor is an remarkably knowledgeable service consultant, whom has always provided me enough information to make my decisions, without resorting to high pressure tactics. My repairs have always been completed on time, usually same day, without unexpected additional charges (since 2010). The overall service experience reinforces MB''s motto "the best or nothing".

I just relocated from LA/OC, and I cannot say enough good things about this service center. Mike K., in particular, is outstanding - professional and very pleasant! They accommodated a request for an appointment the same afternoon. The scheduled servicing was performed promptly and efficiently, and Mike kept me apprised throughout the process. In fact, this service team corrected a mistake made by the service team at the prominent dealership in which I previously had the car serviced. I will be a lifelong customer and highly recommend this service center (especially Mike) to anyone who has MB service needs.

This was my first experience with MB, and what a pleasant one it was. From the initial phone call through the close of the deal, I could not have been happier. My salesman, Dennis Smith, contacted me in response to an inquiry I submitted. His follow up was on point, and he was very upfront about what MBOC had in stock. We scheduled an appointment and the rest is really history. Austin (Sales Manager) and Michel (Finance) were great as well. I purchased exactly what I wanted (CLA250) at my desired price point without all the haggling. Thanks to all for making this a great experience! MB Chicago makes the appointment process so easy via the website or a call to the facility. The minute you drive in, you are greeted by a MB employee by name and with a warm smile. The attendant notified your Service Cordinator and in my case Terry Stailey who was exceptional! Personable, friendly, attentive and reviewed all what we had discussed and agreed upon. A loaner car was provided and I received a text when my vehicle was ready. The excellent service continued when I returned with my vehicle washed and cleaned and even a visit by Geoff Hult thanking me for my business. The service at this Fletcher- Jones facility is unmatched. Five star service by everyone I met.

Monday morning called for an emergency appointment after weekend vandalism on my ML350. Rear quarter glass needed to be replaced so we could continue our vacation drive from Sarasota, Fl. to Michigan. Spoke with Chuck Benson, explained our dilemma, and we needed to get emergency repairs same day. I immediately drove to the service center, the lead technician was called for his opinion and agreed it could be repaired same day. Was driven back to our hotel and in 3 hours received the call that the car was ready to go. Got email invoice and receipt as I paid on line for my insurance company and the shuttle service picked me up in minutes and we were on our way. Could not have expected any better service. Ironically, when I called Safelite for the glass repair, I was told the earliest appointment was five days out. Thank you Chuck and everyone at MB of Chicago for a wonderful experience.

once again my service rep Chuck Benson made sure i had a great experience, i took my car in for some repairs that i was informed i needed on my last visit and once again he made sure i had a loaner car. while my car was there i had it detailed, when they brought it down it looked fine to me, however chuck noticed a couple of spots that were not up to his standard so he had them go over them one more time once again showing the commitment to excellence that he has. Melvin has taken care of me and my cars needs for years and NEVER, ever, disappoints. I'm a little bit of a worry wart when it comes to my car (she's my baby), and whenever there's anything wrong I feel really comfortable when she's in the hands of Melvin and the very competent service technicians at MB. I receive numerous compliments about my car (the color is unique) and I always give a big shout out to the quality of MB ownership and the outstanding service I receive when my vehicle needs attention. This visit I also had my car detailed and was extremely pleased with the outcome. I will definitely utilize this service again in the future. I would further like to add that the shuttle drivers provide a much appreciated service with the drop off and pick up while my vehicle is being serviced. All of them are always very courteous and timely. Finally I'd like to point out that the ladies room needs attention. Whenever I stop in when picking up my vehicle, I am tempted to not use the facilities. It smells, paper is usually on the floor, the stalls are sometimes missing tissue....I continue to point this out in every review I leave, however, to date, nothing has been done to improve this situation. I believe MB has a lot of women customers, and I personally find the condition of this facility insulting.

Chuck Benson always takes good care of me and my car. He listens carefully to my car problems. After service, he thoroughly explains everything that was done on my car and makes sure I'm satisfied with the work. Their complementary car wash is very thorough, too (more than just a quick rinse, it's a full car wash and dry, plus tire shine). My car is always clean and shiny when I get it back. Nice touch. Facilities are wonderful, too. Super clean service area. Very comfortable waiting room and accommodating staff.

I recently brought my E350 into the dealer for a problem with the rear door my service rep was Chuck Benson he was fantastic, He made sure I had a loaner to drive and when we weren't sure if the parts were covered under the warranty he did the research to make sure they were.He also brought to my attention that my rear brake pads were getting low and should be replaced immediately to avoid doing any major damage and costing me more money. he was extremely helpful in fact I'm bringing my car in next week to have the other work done. Thanks again Chuck for all your help in making the repair process a pleasant one.

I relocated from Texas where my 16.5 years old Mercedes was purchased and serviced. Returning to my hometown meant finding a dealership and service center close to home. I went in for a simple A service for my new CLA-250. After being there 2 hours and doing some investigating, I found that they had placed my car outside and it was not being serviced. Sat in the waiting room for that long and I was the one to find the issue. They only found my car outside because they looked up the VIN Number. It was not marked and was placed outside with keys in it. Marco provided me a loaner after about 30 min of me waiting. I had went there to have them do the quick plug-in navigation unit as well. They said they would do everything I need and call me in the morning with a quote. They could not give me a discount on the service because I had prepaid for all my service in the lease. The did say they would give me the navigation unit at cost which was what I can buy it for anyway. The next day came and they are supposed to return my car to me at 3pm. I heard nothing from them but an email saying I could come pick it up. Pick it up? You are to deliver my car to my office. After calling them at 2pm, I found out the Parts manager did not think it could be installed and it took the Service Adviser to figure out it can at 2pm. They returned my car to me at 3:15 pm, not cleaned on the inside but washed on the outside. No discount for the Navi. So at this point we are 3 plus hours of my time wasted and a nice...hey..I am sorry.The next days involved a call from the client service advocate who had a sales manager call me. He had no solutions for me and said he would call me back the next day with options. No call the next day or response from the email I sent the customer service advocate. I guess they just do not care about you when you have paid for everything with the vehicle. Future customers keep that in mind when they smile at you and ask for your trust. I am not looking for a bunch of freebies or a bunch of money, but to treat a new customer of Mercedes-Benz this way has turned me off from that manufacturer and that dealership. Go somewhere else to buy from someone that cares after the sale.

Saw the car advertised on Car.com and emailed our interest to the dealer. Greg Bolte called back immediately, and from there it was a wonderful experience. He was responsive to all questions, concerns, and hesitation about buying an out-of-state vehicle. He explained the process, shipment of the vehicle, and paperwork in detail so we would know what to expect. We could not be happier with our purchase.

Answered questions or obtained answers if he couldn't. Impressive knowledge of options and their confusing workings. Sorry we had to rush him because the array is daunting. He appears to welcome any questions which might arise in the future and assuredly they will. Nice gesture.Enjoyed visiting with Travis in F&I (via phone) though he was off on Tuesday. Mike was knowledgeable and didn't overpower us.Suggestion: With the mountain of paper and your awesome dealership, how about a nice/fancy folder for all the papers rather than an Office Max file? The car is a beauty.

Recently purchased my vehicle and Kat the service advisor was amazing and very attentive to my every need and this was my first time at this facility so I was very pleased with the ease of my experience and how knowledgeable my service advisor was. She even advised me she would go in the back area to ensure my work on the vehicle was properly being handled because she went to school to be a technician. The only hiccup was a manager who came in the waiting room to greet everyone and he did not greet me the entire time.

I recently moved to the Chicago area from Scottsdale, Az.. I was driving a 2013 CLS. Obviously not very good for Chicago winters. I contacted MB of Chicago to discuss the purchase of a ML as I needed 4 Wheel Drive. I left two messages for a salesperson, will leave the name out as I do not want to throw anyone under the bus, with no return phone call. I went into the showroom and spoke to the receptionist about the salesperson.(very nice lady) The receptionist stated the salesperson was at the Audi dealership but would pass her my information and have her call me back. I left her my business card and asked if she could contact me as soon as possible as I wam\nted to move forward with a purchase. I thoiught that would be proper incentive for a salesperson to call me back. Astonishling, I still did not get a phone call back. I have been purchasing MB products for 12 years. Would invite any MB representative to look at the records of purchase from Schumaker MB and MB of Scottsdale. To not even get a call back is a reflection of the dealership in my opinion. I went over to Howard Orloff the next day and purchased a Land Rover.

Well this past weekend was my first time here and it was to look at a certified C300 I saw on Autotrader. My wife and I worked with a gentleman named Dustin. Younger guy, but very knowledgeable and funny. The kind of guy I want to work with when buying a car. After about 10 minutes of talking we were doing a test drive. After that we negotiated, as I was trading in my car. After some back and forth, I was pleased with my trade-in value and the price on the Mercedes I purchased. There was no awkward pressure with him...he was very pleasant to work with. I have dealt with some bad people in the past, but Dustin was one of the good guys. If you plan on purchasing a car from this dealership, ask for Dustin, you will actually have a really great experience.Only negative was the amount of time we had to wait for financing. That was no way his fault...just a few people ahead of us buying cars and being slow...once we got in with the finance guy, we were done in under 10 minutes.PS - My wife also has a Mercedes and even though we live in Naperville, we will be coming here to buy the next one.

I had a great experience while shopping for a CPO Mercedes at MB of Chicago. The service, from start to end, was professional and easy overall. Mr. Jordan was great handling the sales and follow up, by shipping a missing key in just a few days. Highly recommended. I only wish the quick paint job they did on the wheels was better. I think I rather have the scratches that were covered than wheels that were painted while still on the car; even the discs and valves were painted over with no clear coat either.

Really like the new Mercedes! It is my first Mercedes! The experience that I had at the dealership was extremely positive. The salesmen that I had Frank and Evan both did a wonderful job from start to finish! No pressure, did not anchor me and let my wife and I alone for test driving and gave us ample time to discuss with each other without anyone around. The Finance Director, Mo, was pleasant and made it fun to close on the car. I highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Chicago! Hope that the maintenance department is as pleasant and efficient as everyone that I have dealt with thus far.

I worked with Evan Arena to purchase a preowned 2011 Porsche Cayman. I was told it was in excellent shape and when I inquired about specifics such as fluids, tires, brakes etc I was told that all were great shape and that the reputable dealership has an intensive screening of used cars. When I arrived from NY, I noticed that the tires were a bit worn, I was told they had plenty left and that there was a bit of cracking on the front bumper which I was brushed off about. Two weeks after purchasing the car, I had a check engine light and this is after it sat for a week while I was away. Bad engine valve, thankfully covered by the dealership. Dealership and a reputable indy shop subsequently confirmed that the tires were long overdue, that the brakes were gone, that the oil needed changing. I had the plugs swapped, the brake fluid flushed the belt changed and the air and cabin filters were beyond dirty. Ordered New Tires (the ones on the car were brittle and the fronts were originals from 2010). The cracks on the front bumper are now getting progressively worse and will likely need a repaint. This less than 2k miles after purchase and 900 of those were driving the car from chicago to ny. This is a whole lot less than I would expect even without inquiring about the conditon of the car- but the fact that I asked about specifics and was told otherwise adds insult to injury. I am less than impressed.

I worked with Carlos Regadalo and I must say the experience was excellent. This is my first car ever and I am from michigan. There was 5 month wait period to get Mercedes CLA 250 in michigan and carlos promised me to deliver the vehicle in 2 months. Infact I got the vehicle in less than 2 months and I have never been happy like this before. Working with him was a smooth process and I cant ask for better. If you want to buy Mercedes and want to have a tension free experience I strongly recommend to visit this place and work with Carlos if possible. We arrived at the show room and were told by a salesman that he had a customer who just arrived but that the manager "Matthew" would take care of us. After waiting 15 minutes with no one showing up and none of the numerous people just sitting at their desks, we left. If that is how they treat you before the sale, I would be concerned after the sale.

Mercedes Benz Service in Chicago has the best looking facilities. When it comes to servicing your car. You cannot walk out of there without a $2,000 bill and repairs that they either appear to have caused themselves OR they you are charged for but it is questionable whether they actually even checked for them much less performed them. Their attitude appears to be if you can afford an M you can afford anything we want to charge and don't question us. For example, they tell me a spring is broken.. It is.. I wonder if they did it since the break is clean and shiny. It's gonna be $1200 to repair. I take it to a suburban dealer and its $500 to repair. Having been told my car needed a steering column flush with only like 35,000 miles on the car. I say NO. My husband brings it in they tell him the same thing he says okay. I bring it in six months later and they tell me I need a steering column flush again I hit the ceiling. They "check" and say oh yes it is in our records. SO... you figure it out. I have it towed in because I have two flat tires. I already called parts and got the pricing for the premium tires. I know what the standard tires ratings etc are too. The service manager tries to give me the premium pricing for the standard tires. I tell him NOOOOO that's the price for the premium I have already checked, and I will check my tires when they are installed. SO at that he orderrs the correct premium tires. That was my last visit. People just don't check. It's one thing to pay for the convenience of the location. It's quite another thing to be blatantly ripped off and lied to about what your car needs.

I took my vehicle in for servicing the first time on (7/28) - therefore I didn't have an assigned service consultant. Upon driving into the service entry way (I was truly impressed). The facility and greeting staff were awesome and the place was immaculately clean! They quickly identified that I was a first timer and connected me with a service consultant - (Chuck) - who was equally as courteous/efficient and knowledgeable. The Fletcher dealership and service department is one first class organization!

My service advisor was Melvin Peoples who has always given me outstanding service. I took my car in for normal maintenance (transmission check). While the car was there it was noticed that 2 of the new tires I had purchase in April from Mercedes Benz had bubbles on them. Melvin called me right away to advise me the tires were being replaced and would be covered under the warranty. I was going on a road trip the following weekend, so I'm grateful this was discovered and corrected. Great catch Melvin! Thanks for the continued impeccable service.

I've had a MB of one model or another from MB in Chicago since 1999. In 2013, I saw the CLS550 with all the features I wanted at MB of Orland - so I got it there. I tried to like their service dept but I DO NOT! (that would take another review). I take my car to the Chicago service dept on Division St. and I love it! Melvin is THE BEST!!! Although I do hate the low-profile tires - I hate Chicago's potholes even more. LOVE LOVE LOVE MELVIN and his team !!!!

this place is a joke,.....i arrived at 10:45 am for my app at 11:00 am...they took my car in .and then..they just disappear.. they had me wait for 3 hours ..for nothing...they didn't have the courtesy or the dignity to let me know that they are behind or something...they just had me there waiting.. i took my car UNFIXED and.left...STAY AWAY OR BETTER RUN...THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.

I Just finished purchasing my 3rd car from Mercedes Benz of Chicago and each time it gets better. This was the first time I had ever had a car built to match the specs I was looking for and the team at MB Chicago made it easy. I was walked through the options available for my CLS 63 AMG S and each one was clearly explained to me as well as the cost associated. Once I had my car built and ordered, Paul Price was unbelievable. Informing me of where the process was at every step of the way. When it was built, when it sent to the port in Germany for delivery, when it arrived in Maryland and of course when it made it to Chicago. It is little things like this that separate MB Chicago, and Paul Price specifically, from the rest to the dealerships I have worked with in the past. The customer services is second to none and I couldn't recommend the dealership enough if I tried. Thank you to Paul, Moe, Christopher and David for continuing to exceed all expectations.

The whole process from dropping of your car to being informed the car is ready and picking up is very Smooth. I always get an estimate for any repairs or other work, and there is always good follow-up. Free shuttles to work and back, and a sparkling clean car after service round everything out nicely. After visiting a number of Chicago metro Mercedes dealers we found salesperson Frank Bertone at MB Chicago to be the A+ caliber salesperson we'd been anticipating and hoping for while searching for our new luxury car. Frank sensed/anticipated every one of our hot buttons or concerns before we'd even asked the question and without any extraneous info or oversell. We really appreciated the time and attention he gave us throughout the process starting with our extended test drive through a course of Chicago's juiciest potholes, the updates on our car's delivery schedule, and his patience teaching us the new cabin technology the day we picked up the car. We always felt that we had his full and undivided attention and that we were the most important thing in his life during our times together. A true professional, who is very knowledgeable, friendly, and will update you throughout the time your vehicle is being serviced. The waiting room is very quiet, inviting, modern, and comfortable. Free beverages are always available and a parts department counter where you can pick up accessories for your Mercedes. When I come in to get my car serviced, it is easy to arrange shuttle service to take me anywhere in the city and pick me up at another location. I have never had to wait long. The young man who is the shuttle driver is great--courtious, personable and a good driver. I brought my GL450 in for a driver seat warranty repair - the seat material had split near the door side. It was an early 6:30am appointment and Erick was extremely helpful and got me taken care of. He set me up with a loaner car and took everything from there. I got a call and text from Gayle later that day to inform me they had patched the seat and it was ready for pickup. I wasn't able to get back that evening so we set up another 6:30am appointment the next morning. Brought the loaner back in the morning and met Erick who delivered my repaired GL - all washed, vacuumed and courtesy checked. Awesome service experience. Hopefully the patch is as good!

The service department at Fletcher Jones Mercedes Benz is outstanding. My service consultant, Erick McGregor was very helpful in assisting me with my SIRIUS XM radio. After receiving the run around from the people from SIRIUS for three weeks. First, I was only able to get the sports radio station as opposed to all the channels. I set up an appointment with Erick and he work diligently in seeing that the software on my 2008 S550 Mercedes Benz. Now I receive ALL the SIRIUS stations!! Also, I only opened my trunk twice, I noticed that the bracket which holds the net in my trunk is damaged and he is working on having it replaced as well. Erick McGregor is truly outstanding service consultant!

On Saturday leaving work my Mercedes dashboard lit up with a "Brake Wear" warning and "See Workshop" instruction. This was really unexpected and scary as I knew I was not due for any brake work. As I drove towards home I hands-free called Fletcher Jones Mercedes Repair Center (where I bought and have serviced my MB for the past seven and a half years) to find out if they were still open. Lucky for me they were still open and also had a loaner that had just been returned. I was ending the call as I pulled into the shop. Eric was most helpful and was able to get me on the road in only a short time. On Monday Gayle called to say it was not the brakes but that the after market caliper cover that had snapped loose and sheared the sensor wire for the brake wear that caused the warning. Gayle had the MB inspected and found that Chicago's hard winter and treacherous potholes had done a number on the suspension. They say all things happen for a reason, well that caliper cover must have failed so that my suspension would get repaired before worse things could occur. Thanks to all the staff at Fletcher Jones for the great work in keeping me and my MB safe and secure.

In my Service visit on Thursday, March 27, 2014, I came to get the snow tires removed and the summer tires installed. Mr. People recommended that I should have the Power Steering cleaned, flushed and replace the old power steering fluid with new power steering fluid. This was a very wise, worthy and needed service. The service at Mercedes-Benz of Chicago was excellent and in particular our Sales Consultant Alex Lazar who did an outstanding job. We went to the dealership just to do some research and ended up buying a car! - Alex was welcoming, informative and helped us really think through what we were looking for. We ended up buying a pre-owned vehicle, but Alex patiently let us drive various vehicles to understand the differences and what would work for us. The experience was relaxing (not what you expect) and actually fun - we had every intention of continuing our research with other brands, but having experienced less than fantastic service at some other dealerships, we decided to go with what seemed right and service won out. Mercedes was nowhere near the top of our initial list - Alex essentially stopped the competition in its tracks!It's always hard to judge pricing, but we feel we got good value all around and were happy which I guess is a great outcome. Alex has continued to follow up and provide excellent service - I would recommend the dealership and particularly Alex Lazar to anyone looking for a "luxury" car in Chicago. My trust level changed after I was introduced to Nick by Chuck my service representative at the Mercedes Service Center on Division Street in Chicago. I called to make an appointment to have my car service, because my brother led me to believe that my car was not performing at the cars optima level. Once I arrived to the service center. I tried explaining to Chuck what my brother felt about my car. He suggest I speak with Nick the mechanic. Nick came out and he had the keys to my car. He ask me to allow him to drive my car with me in the car. During the drive he said to me, Ms. Taylor I have checked your car, and mam there is nothing wrong with your vehicle. What changed me and my opinion about mechanics is when Nick said, Ms. Taylor we can take your money, but that is not what we do here at Mercedes. Your car is performing how it should be at this time. This was all music to my ears, because at the time I was unprepared to spend any money. I need a mechanic and a service representative who is not out to take the customers money. Sandra K. Taylor

We bought our new GL 450 from Joe Smalzer. He exceeded our expectations. He always kept us up to date as our SUV was being built. Daniel Hoffman and his assistant did an excellent job of making me "feel at ease" during my first [ever] visit to a MB Service Center (I purchased my first MB--an '08 C300--three weeks ago). I was told my service would take 2.5 hours; they beat that time by about 12 minutes (even after washing the car). A detailed list of everything that should be done in the future was given to me, and an explanation of how to "rank" my future service appointments, with the most time-sensitive items being ranked first. I look forward to doing my best to release this C300 in better shape than it was given to me, and I'm now confident that Dan, his assistant, and the entire MB Chicago staff can assist me in that process. :)

I've had cars from this dealership since 1994, and the experience has uniformly been excellent. Buying a new car is, well, buying a new car--expect the usual from the salemen. But the service department, which is the aspect of the dealership most people interact with much more frequently than the sales side, is first rate. Expensive, as you'd expecct for a Mercedes, but good value for money.

I worked with Alex Lazar after finding a low mileage Mercedes C300 on line and he quickly responded to an email and answered all the questions I had. I went the next day and drove the car and liked it. I had a busy couple of weeks at work and could not complete the deal but Alex was good at follwing up and letting me know about the car and my time frame. I was able to make the deal and he worked hard to make it come together, for timing and price. It was a very painless process. He was great with follow up and was honest about everything through out the deal. I would definitely reccomend working with Alex. He also explained the car thoroughly at delivery. Great Job Alex....

My wife and I worked with Joe Smalzer to find a low mileage used Mercedes C300. We found one with all the options we wanted (and more) that was just a bit higher in price than we were comfortable paying. Joe worked hard to find a way to make the deal work for us, but we ended up losing out on that vehicle. However, knowing what we were looking for, he identiifed another vehicle that had all the options we were seeking. We were able to work out an acceptable price on the vehicle, and he was able to get us a bit of a discount on an add-on, so it worked out well for us.He also followed up with us about a week after we got the car to see if it was working out for us and to see if there was anything else he could do for us. Buying a car is not one of those things that most of us look forward to, but he made it pretty easy and coimfortable for us.

I'm excited to say that as of this evening I'm a proud new Mercedes-Benz owner! My husband and I have previously owned other luxury brand cars but have always experienced less than satisfactory customer service whether it was with the sales department, finance department or the service department. Until today, every aspect of owning a non-MB luxury car had been dreadful for me, but the worst part had been the various stages of customer service. From the start, Frank Bertone made our buying experience incredibly simple. Frank helped us secure our vehicle with a small deposit; as used-car buyers flying in from Michigan, we wanted to ensure that the same vehicle would be there when we arrived. We arrived in Chicago 2 days later and were promptly picked-up by Frank himself. We saw the vehicle, had a flawless transaction, and were home by dinner time. Please do yourself a favor and ask for Frank Bertone. I can only say that because of Frank and his professionalism we had a very pleasant buying experience. Frank was honest, courteous, and had integrity, which is not common in all sales situations. Frank stood behind his word, and represented the used vehicle well. I traded my Lexus CT200H in for a CPO Benz. Sales person was Matt. Awesome experience. They qualified me for the .99 financing and I thought I wasn't going to qualify for the 2.99. In at 9am out by 11:30am. The whole process was good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Eric McGregor in the service department is exceptionally knowledgeable about the models being serviced and he is very trustworthy. The loaners we receive when our cars go in for routine maintenance are always new and the service area is exceptionally clean. We've been so pleased that we purchased a new vehicle from this dealer as well. They have earned our continued loyalty by providing prompt, courteous and professional service in the sales, service and parts departments and highly recommend them without reservation.

I recently leased a 2013 C300 through MB of Chicago. Monthly lease amount was about $40 more than Motorwerks (for a comparable car), but I was thinking convenience at the time. Besides the price, I have several issues with the dealership, the car, and way they do business. Additionally, it was odd that the dealership didn't offer me the opportunity to test drive the vehicle. For this particular car, the first time I drove it was after I "owned" it.The car was apparently a loaner car with about 4K miles. It was "certified" and inspected by the dealership to be 100% good to go. However, I've had multiple problems with the car in the first 2 days of ownership. I've driven other C300s, so I know what they can/can't do and how they should handle. Regarding my salesperson, he is new, so I'm not going to fault him for not knowing everything a 10+ year associate would know. However, everyone else seemed to be very disorganized and not 100% truthful (detailed below). Problem 1: Handling - On just slightly slippery roads, the car was quite unstable and handled like a typical rear-wheel drive muscle car in the snow. And no, I did not have the traction control feature turned off. For an all-time four wheel drive car, it handled poorly and made me nervous driving my wife and infant child in it.Problem 2: Economy mode - After driving the car to and from church, to and from the mall, and to and from work two times (each city driving about 2 -3 miles per segment), the engine only properly shut off (when stopped) 10 to 20% of the time. Most of the time, the car remained idling at the stop light when it should be in eco mode and turns the engine off. This feature enables the car to get the estimated 20 MPG city. Without the eco mode, 12-13 mpg is about all you can get.Problem 3: Rear back seats - Our infant seat made it nearly impossible for my wife (who's only 5'2) to sit in the front passenger seat. Her knees were bent up against the dash and her head was touching the sunvisor. If we had a crash, she'd be in serious trouble. Since she was so uncomfortable, she moved to the back seat with the baby. However, the back seat belts only "ratchet" tighter and will not allow any movement. The belts don't have any freedom of movement that you are used to. This is apparently a feature the car offers for restraining infant seat that don't use the anchors, but according to the owner's manual should be allowed to revert to normal use. We read the owners manual on how the belt should operate. We tried a few more times, each time the belt only got tighter and tighter, so tight that I thought I'd have to cut the belt off my wife. I'm still not sure how some of the other electronics/navigation work because my salesman wasn't really sure how to work many of the items. Again, I'm not going to fault him for not knowing, but when I was "taking delivery", it took about 30 minutes just to upload my phone contacts through the bluetooth... we even had a hard time trying to figure out how to get the display to show MPH. After the 30 minutes, I had a work meeting that I had to attend, so I couldn't stay longer. Going back to the awkward coordination at the dealership, another sales person and sales manager were running around trying to find the docs for this car when I showed up to pick it up. I had actually signed the lease a day prior so they could clean it and get it ready, but they still seemed disorganized when I showed up. They then asked me to wait for 15 minutes while my salesperson returned to the dealership because he was currently over at the service center. If they took some of this time that they were running around looking for docs and applied it to the time I had to learn this car when "taking delivery", they probably would have had an hour or so to show me the options on this car and how to properly operate them. I would recommend that an experienced MB employee show the customer how to operate the vehicle instead of a new sales person. It was like the blind leading the blind!My final issue relates to how much the finance manager was telling the truth. This deals with the mileage on the car. When I walked around the car for the first time, I made a mental note of the mileage. When meeting with the leasing / finance manager, he recorded the beginning mileage as lower than what I recalled to be on the odometer. This would mean they were shorting me mileage on the lease. I questioned him, but he assured me that the number he had was accurate because they diligently "scan" the car each time it is driven. I reluctantly said ok and thought that maybe the number I had remembered was incorrect. Well, when I was ready to drive off for the first time I saw the mileage was what I thought it was supposed to be. I got out of the car and insisted that the finance manager adjust my paperwork. In summary, I don't think these guys are bad guys, but I don't think they care much other than making the sale. In hind-sight, I really wish I had gone to a different dealership. Maybe they'll let me return the car! But I doubt it.

The facility is very clean and the staff is professional and courteous.Matt assisted me in the purchase of my certified pre-owned mercedes-benz. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what I wanted prior to actually going to the dealership. I explained to Matt that I had an extremely busy schedule and he made my life easier by communicating with me via email and phone prior to me visiting the dealership. I really loved the fact that the transaction was completed in a time efficient manner. After purchasing my vehicle he kindly assisted me with minor details (tinting, mats service etc.). I walked into this dealership READY TO BUY with cash and order a new CLA (a new car that is not even out yet, and coming out in about 2 months). The receptionist was very sweet and kind (she earned the first star in this review herself) and got Michael to help me. Little backstory: I have always driven Toyotas and Lexuses. My parents have always driven the same...we like driving very dependable and reliable cars. My grandparents always drove Benzes, so I decided to give them a try (after branching out and buying a VW a couple months back that I don't love). I came into the dealer not dressed like a bum for a late afternoon that was 102 outside: checked shorts from Brooks Brothers, Michael Kors Rose Gold watch, BB shirt, white Prada sunglasses. No, I did not show up in a suit or need to prove anything else.Also, I work in a field where I own my own business and I cater to high income comsumers with very particular taste. My bills are paid by pleasing the most discerning of Chicago's elite. So, I know how to give that service and what to expect from someone also serving properly.Michael NEVER smiled. While I was talking to him about what I was interested in and why and what was important to me (quiet cabin, moonroof, smoother ride) he had a look on his face of pursed lips, not looking at me at all, but out of the corner of his eye and RIDICULOUSLY OBVIOUS, he is looking me up and down, taking in every logo and spending at least 5 seconds trying to figure out my watch brand. I am not kidding, not embellishing. Never smiled, nothing. And when I say the guy NEVER smiled, I mean he NEVER EVER smiled. As in NEVER. Not a smirk, not a little glint of a smile. NEVER. EVER. So, after I test drove a C Class (I think), we went back to his desk and I asked him about the options. He just seemed so impatient and had his little post it notes in his hand the whole time playing with them and acting like I was just an insect annoying him around his area of vision or something. So, I asked about the iPhone kit option and he said and I quote verbatim:"Yeah, it's a bunch of cables.""For charging your phone?""Yeah, that's all. To charge it.""500 bucks to charge the phone? Sounds like a lot.""Yep.""Can we get on the site to look at it, seems like I'm confused."At this point he ROLLS his eyes at me and mutters under his breath and pulls up the site. And there it is...a kit that allows you to pull up your iPhone apps and do a LOT of fancy stuff in a nutshell. It's not just a charger for 500 bucks. Dude had no product knowledge.Also, every time I asked a question he would say "I don't know."Ok, well, um, can you find out? I would like to know what I'm buying. Seriously, dude.I could go on and on about this guy and how rude he is, but I advise you avoid him at all costs.

If you are looking for a dealership with honest sales people, THAT IS NOT IT!! I had seen a Mercedes online and called the dealership to find out certain features of the car since photos were not available on the website. I spoke with Karen, a sales rep, who checked the car herself while I was waiting on the phone and when she came back she told me that it has the features that I was looking for. I asked her again because I wanted to make sure before I take the long drive there and she assured me that it has exactly what I was asking for. So I had to make arrangements for babysitting and after an hour and a half of driving in horrible traffic I arrived at the dealership only to see to my surprise that the car DID NOT HAVE THE FEATURES I WAS LOOKING FOR!!! When I confronted Karen who had lied to me, she just shamelessly brushed it off as if it was not important and on top of it she lied again that supposedly she didn't remember me asking her that!!!!!!!!! She didn't have the decency to offer even a fake apology!!!!!! I am furious and disgusted with that dealership that they allow sales rep like that to lie to people just so they can get them in their door and then try to sell something different to them. It was just an aggravating experience, wasting 4 hours of my day (including the drive back and their pathetic attempt to try and sell me other cars) and costing me money for babysitting. I am never going back to this dealership and if you are looking for a dealership with honest salesmen/women that care about their potential customers, do not make the mistake to go to Mercedes-Benz of Chicago.

I really enjoyed working with Frank. He was very friendly, professional, and direct. On the day I was ready to purchase my car, he had the day off but came in anyway. This is the fourth car that I've bought in my lifetime (1 Acura and 2 Audis before this) and Frank provided me with my best experience yet in purchasing a car. The only negative experience is that we came to a price that seemed reasonable, Frank had to check with his sales manager in the other room. He came back and killed the deal, but as we gave up and were leaving the dealership, his sales manager changed his mind and agree to the price. It was a very amateur move, terrible customer service, and nearly killed the experience for me. However, I got a great car for a fair price and the process was overall pretty convenient.

I recently purchased my first Mercedes (yesterday in fact) and the experience was exciting, fun, and relaxed, as it should be... not even remotely overwhelming, as I imagined it would be... all thanks to Alex Lazar. From the moment I walked into the dealership, Alex was welcoming, not pushy, and incredibly patient, despite all of my questions. He took the time to explain even the most basic vernacular associated with purchasing a car and, as apprehensive as I was, he made me feel comfortable admitting my limited knowledge in this area. He worked within my budget (not over it) and never pressured me. After my long, stressful day at work, Alex stayed back to accomodate to my schedule and never rushed me. He went through every detail you can think of (and then some) to make sure I was content, informed, and happy with my purchase. I felt really lucky to have Alex greet me when I first walked into the dealership, admittedly curious and a bit nervous. For those of you sifting through reviews, no luck needed on your end. I recommend, with absolute confidence, Alex Lazar. He was reliable and diligent with his follow up, 100%. And, he made the experience fun. After all, purchasing a car should be enjoyable! Michael explained everything thoroughly to us and went above and beyond expectations. Due to this we ended up not only leasing a C300 but I also bought the car we were leasing, a C350. Michael checked up on us everyday and even when he wasn't at work. We were concerned about price as well, but he thoroughly checked all options for us to ensure we received the best deal and car for our budget. It was first class customer service and I highly highly recommend him. Erick was in charge of looking after my C350 and shipping as well. He was incredibly professional and truly helped with all questions we had and expedited everything to perfection. We drove in from the northern suburbs to buy a car we had already decided on. The sales person that helped us did not know very much about the vehicle, and when you are spending $75k on a car, it would be nice to have a knowledgeable person walk you through the bells and whistles. Seemed as if she had never sat in a Mercedes before. She did tell us she had never "delivered" a car before because they had people who did that, but had just made it a part of the sales persons job. I have since learned she is gone.We just had our first service done on the car, and it was a huge time waster. When you drive in, the valet asks who your service advisor is...we had no idea. The valet looked like a deer in headlights, unable to comprehend this, thus causing him to ask us the same question several times. 10 minutes later, the car was finally taken back for service. We had requested the shuttle be available when we made the appointment. Fifteen minutes later, the driver decided he could take us. Since we were only going about a mile, it was a quick ride. We were told just to call when we were ready for a ride back. We called, and were told it would be 30 minutes...really? If I weren't wearing heels, I could walk there faster...All in all, we have been very disappointed with the dealership...and we are buying a BMW next week, definitely from a different dealer.

We had been searching for a new 2013 or 2014 GL450 for over a month and even contacted 3 dealers near us and were working with sales people at each dealership. With MB of Chicago (even though it was an hour away), we made one phone call when we saw a car we liked and got a good quote over the phone and decided to give the dealership a try even with our 2-year old with us! The sales associate assigned to us was Austin Real who was nothing short of amazing, just like the manager Karen! They were very cordial over the phone and when we got there the service we got from test driving the car, getting a good deal on our trade, getting our financing in order, down to keeping our 2-year old entertained (Karen even blew bubbles with him!) was just over the top great! Oh, and they have a play room. Austin made the process very simple and quick and answered any questions we had and went through everything in detail. He made sure we knew how to operate the vehicle and all the features that came with it and Karen even stepped by to thank us for our business. Overall, a great experience! It took all of 4.5 hours between spotting the car online to driving home in it. Everytime we need a car, we will definitely be calling Austin back!

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience with Mercedes Benz. They had the exact vehicle I was looking for and my salesman, Frank Bertone made my experience effortless and seamless. He was very professional and very respectful of my time. I am a business owner so time is extremely important to me. I felt really good about buying a car from Frank because he was upfront with me and it was very obvious that he knew a lot about cars and the business. Mike Kendal went above and beyond our needs to meet the sale. He was very proactive and determined to get us the car we wanted by going to his manager and trying to get the price we could afford. Very genuine salesman, rather than other salesman we've encountered that were pushy and forceful. Very knowledgeable with the car we purchased, C300, and even helped us pick out the options!

I came here on a Saturday and I was blown away. The salesperson I was working with was a little over zealous in telling me that the car I wanted to purchase was available. He knew I was coming from over 30 miles away to PURCHASE. When I arrived to the dealership I was greeted by the receptionist and she told me Dustin would be right with me. After waiting about 10 minutes this older lady who said she was the manager told me that Dustin would be with me soon. After waiting another 25 minutes and watching the "manager" apply lipstick at the desk at least 2 times, Dustin finally came down. He told me that the vehicle I wanted was SOLD! Couldn't he have told me this before I drove over 30 miles that the car was sold? Next, he tried to sell me a car I had absolute not interest in. He kept asking if I would please look at another ML and drive it. He said that he had to make a sale today and kept asking if I would look at something else. I was insulted. I did not know begging was a sales technique at Mercedes-Benz. Then when I said I had to go, the older lady came back and said that I needed to drive this other car before I left. She asked me question after question after I told her I had to leave and I was really upset with the whole experience. She was very pushy as well. I expected A LOT MORE professionalism from a Mercedes store, but sadly I was wrong. I will never return.

This dealership earned a 5 in all categories, and the sales professional Frank Bertone as well. Impeccable service, responsiveness, attention to detail, and professionalism. The service advisor Vilma was wonderful and parts dept took time to look up my order and prevent a mistake on a part being re-ordered. I almost purchased from another dealer and this dealer earned my business, plus offering a better price! Normally stingy with ratings, MB Chicago is deserving of my high praise.

I bought my daughter a ML 320 Mercedes and the radio needed a security code. So I went into the Mercedes Dealer on North and Ashland so they could help me get the code. I came in looking for a 2013 C63 AMG and not only did they have exactly what I was looking for and made sure all the Ts were crossed and Is dotted, but the personal touch was unbelievable. The fact that I bought a car from them over 8 months ago and yet I walked in to the dealership and Paul Price remember not just me, but my wife and children by name was astonishing. He is what I would consider to be the consummate professional. The efficiency that Christopher Bard showed while evaluating my trade in and making sure everything was in line and ready to go when it came to sign the paperwork was fantastic. How many of us could say that they were in and out in less than an hour when closing on an automobile? And of course the fearless leader that is Dave Gonzalez made sure no stone was left unturned. I was very impressed the first time I dealt with this team last year, but anyone can impress once. Austin Real was arrogant from th 1st phone call and it got worse. The amount they offered for my trade was ridiculous. They didn't even call me back after I made an offer. Got $3000 more on trade for CPO car at MB dealer in Wis. They will gouge your eyeballs out!

Upon my first visit to Mercedes-Benz of Chicago I had a feeling of stepping into a very friendly environment. Everyone was very curtious and professional. I must say I haven't been offered water or coffee more at any other place I've visited. The sales person that was assigned to me, Anthony Whitlock, seemed like a friend right from the beginning. He listened to what I was looking for and found it for the price I was able to afford. He explained every aspect of the car to me. Took me for a test ride ... I must admit after the test ride I didn't want to leave the car ... it handled so beautifuly ((E350). I ultimately bought that car and Anthony was kind enough to pair my phone with the car's bluetooth device. And said that if I have any questions to call him any time. Usually once a sale is done ... so are you! Hopefully my good experience will continue with the dealership ... it's been only a week since I bought my car!

I was looking for a specific color exterior and interior. I met Anthony Whitlock on my first visit. Told him what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. Anthony was the absolute opposite of a "used car salesman" ... and we all know how they can be! Within a day or two Anthony had the car I had described at the price I had mentioned. I didn't feel pressured to purchase the car ... I had come twice to look at it. Upon my last visit I purchased the car. I was impressed at how the dealership was run ... very professional and very courtious. Anthony went over all the details of the car and even paired my phone for me. Never got the impression that he was a "car salesman" ... he felt like a friend.

My sales representative Mr. Paul Price turned what could have been an anxious and frustrating experience into an enjoyable and worthwhile one. Mr. Price was professional as well as personable while demonstrating his expertise in both the auto I was considering and the pricing and process. He showed patience and answered all my questions no matter how trivial and accompanied me through each step. I left the dealership a satisfied customer who will return to do business with Paul Price again and again. I have driven a MB since 2001 and I look forward to future transactions with Mr. Price. His customer service goes above and beyond the call with the extra step of coming to my house to synchronize my garage opener. Mike was extremely attentive, answering all questions and taking the time necessary to satisfy us, despite having to leave to catch a plane for a funeral. He also met my wife later on to attend to some slight modifications at the service center to make sure that everything was taken care of. He was very knowledgeable and took time to connect up the I Pod to the car's system.

He is an exceptionnal ( sales) person and I must say that he was selling a Peugeot, Citroen, Honda or other I will probably own one of this brand. He gives you the best experience possible. He looks good, smell good without putting unwanted pressure. It is like visiting a good friend and in the end you are actually leaving with a car. I would highly recommend that anyone seriously in the market for a new vehicle to do their research before entering into any agreement with this dealership. They continued to use deceptive practices in everyday business. Since Guido is the only person I had the displeasure of dealing with I am not sure if my situation is a direct reflection of the overall management style or if he is a rouge employee. Either way do yourself a favor and look beyond this rating and please do not give them any money or credit card information without getting everything in writing first.

I just purchased a brand new 2013 GLK 350 from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. This is the 3rd new Mercedes that I have purchased from this dealership and specifically, my sales person, Paul Price. I can't say enough good things about Paul. He is professional, courteous and has a memory like a steel trap. His attention to detail and ability to get me a great deal is what keeps me coming back. The car I wanted was at a dealership in the suburbs. Paul drove over an hour in rush hour traffic to the other dealership to get my vehicle and bring it back to me. He always goes the extra mile and for that, he has my loyalty.I would also like to mention that Nikki Dillard did a fantastic job of getting us in the door and our finance person, Moe Ghanimah was a pleasure to deal with as well. Lastly, I'd like to say that one of the best things about this dealership is the Service Center. I really don't think there is a better service center anywhere in the region, period. The facility is great, the people are always professional and my service adviser (Lynn Heller) is the best! I highly recommend Mercedes-Benz of Chicago.

Decided to go to this dealer since it is close to my residence. The labor was not what I expected from a Mercedes dealer, the car had to go back for two more visits and even on the last visit one issue still not completed. Also dealer was made aware a personal item was taken from the car, even though I got a call from my complaint no follow up was ever received. I know valuables should not be left in the car during service, but didn't expect that from a Mercedes dealership.

This is the 6th Mercedes that I have brought over the years from Paul Price. Needless to say this was the toughest negotiation thus far. We began the banter thousands of dollars apart. His manager got involved with the deal as well..... We all got a little loud and heated, eventually we agreed to disagree. After all this wasn't my first rodeo,I eat sales guys for lunch. So.....I was off to take my wife for a Doc's appointment and then buy a Cadillac. Paul Price offered to drive us to my wife's appointment. He offered his services even when he knew we didn't have a deal. On the drive he suggested we take another look at the numbers, we did and came to a deal we both could live with. As a retired V.P. Frank was great. Before I came in we communicated via email because I am constantly traveling for business and that's the easiest way for me to communicate. He always answered my emails right away. Frank was professional, honest, upfront, friendly, knowledgeable and gave me a very good deal. I'm typically not a fan of buying cars because of the experience, but Frank made it quick a pleasant experience. He followed up afterwards to see how I was doing and invited me to come back should I have any questions regarding the functionality of any aspect of the car that couldn't be solved just by talking. If you are going to buy a MB, make sure you ask for Frank. Just a terrific guy with integrity.

He promptly answered our many questions and requests, and provided a smooth buying process. He went above and beyond for us, coming in on his day off and working past closing to ensure we were completely satisfied. The manager Bob, was also great, as was all staff we encounteredvery professional and friendly, even indulging our demanding toddler. Not only are the staff top notch, the facility is very comfortable and gorgeous as well, and the playroom is great for little onesits obvious that customer satisfaction is a top priority here. I returned to Mercedez Benz Chicago 3 weeks ago even though I had moved to the west suburbs the year before. The reason was my great experience with Paul Price on my first purchase in 2011. Paul is one of those folks you come accross that really loves what he does. He really enjoys selling cars but selling Mercedes seems to be a passion. As he put it to me, "there are no bad choices at Mercedes", when I couldn't make my mind up on car. Not only is Paul a personable person but he goes the extra mile to make your experience as stress free as possible. He was attentive to my family's needs when making the purchase which helped out a whole lot with the wife! When stopping by Mercedes Chicago, I recommend you see Paul Price but expect 3 things; 1. A knowledgable and courteous sales rep, 2. A phone call on your birthday to a personal rendition of happy birthday, and 3. Not a smooth talker but definitely a smooth dresser!As long as I buy Mercedes, I will buy from Paul Price!

Everyone at Mercedes-Benz Chicago was friendly and engaging. Guido was very informative and accomodating. He was more than happy to pull the specific car I wanted to drive out of the show room. Guido answered all my questions on the test drive and was never pushy. Moe was very professional and explained the different financial directions available to me. The financial process was quick and easy although the terms were slightly different from the first time we talked. Natalie was a nice touch before I drove MY car off the lot. She got into the car with me and walked through all the features. To top off the great experience, Guido followed me home to drop off the car I was driving. This has been a good start to my first Mercedes and I am hopeful I will have the same rave reviews at the end of my lease.

3I was looking to replace my very old SUV with a new one with all the bell and whistles. My fiance and I walked into Fletcher Mercedes-Benz and we were greeted by Alvin Smith. I had been researching various brands of SUVs and I had a good idea of what I wanted. I had met so many sales people in the process of looking for the right SUV that it typically turns me off. However, Alvin made us feel very comfortable and there were no hard pressure sales tactics. He was very patient with me as I had a ton of questions and I couldn't make up my mind. He allowed me to take the time to sort through my thoughts and research before I made final decision. Alvin has very good nurturing quality about him that makes you feel like you're family. The next vehicle I purchase, I will definitely return to Alvin as he is very knowledgeable, respectful and nurturing. I love my new Mercedes SUV!!! The experience that I had could have gone in a few different directions. I was in the market to replace my S550 and had contacted several dealerships within the Chicago land area none of which did any follow up with me from my initial contact to provide any additional services. I was disappointed with the level of service I was receiving from Mercedes Benz so I had began looking at other dealerships outside of Mercedes Benz and decided to give this dealership a chance. I called MB Of Chicago and was transferred to Mr. Joseph Smalzer who greeted me with suchenthusiasm, I told Joe what I was in the market for and he immediately started the search to getting me into my new car. I live in St Louis and after having done my homework on the Mercedes dealers in Missouri and Illinoi, I chose Mercedez Benz of Chicago and was much satisfied with my choice. We worked specifically with Mike Kendall on two visits to puchase an E350 and have nothing but positive things to say. He was always professional and worked with us to find the car we wanted. He wrote back to emails in the late evenings and weekend, gave me his cell phone number and worked with my assistant to take care of the logistics and free up my time.Anthony was very knowledgeable on the vehicles themselves and made the entire transaction easy and seamless. Avoid this place. This is my 2nd Mercedes, I had an apt with the manager Anthony Scala, to test drive 2 cars. It took 45 mins to test drive a C-class then when I asked to test drive the E-class the sales person and the manager agreed, it would be best to come back to test drive the 2nd car "they were closing". Maybe since i'm a woman they didn't think I would go somewhere else. It was 7:45 they close at 8. I went out to westmont and test-drive both cars that same night. They stayed open late and I took home a new E-Class. Chicago Mercedes has the worst customer service.

i recommend you NOT WASTE TIME at MB Chicago. I went in this morning for my appt to see a car. The salesman would not get me a value for my trade because i was going to a Cadillac dealer next to see another car as well. I told him exactly what part cash and what part trade in i expected. Exactly. He told me for sure the numbers would work when i came back. I saw the Cadillac and then made the trip back for the E550. Of course i found out "there was a difference of opinion" on the value of my car. What a waste of time. Why couldn't he have gone to ask Dad how much my car was worth when i was there the first time? What a farce and i fell for it. No respect for my time!!

I contacted Fletcher Jones Chicago about a used car I found online. The sales person who got back to me could not have been nicer or more helpful. He respected my wish to be contacted by email and answer my questions that way instead of just replying and asking me to call him for any further help. We did all our goings back and forth by email and only talked on the phone when I was sure I was satisfied and ready to go and have a look. My experience with the dealership could not have been any better from initial contact through finally signing on the dotted line! I drove from TN to look at the car and drive it before I made the purchase. The car was exactly as described. The sales team, Ryan, Mo and Jimmy were outstanding in their help. I had a truly wonderful experience with Fletcher Jones and would recommend them to anyone that ask.

We purchased a new Mercedes Benz over the weekend from Fletcher Jones in Chicago. Although there is a Mercedes Benz dealer in Naperville (where we live), we had such a positive experience on our last purchase from Fletcher Jones that we didn't hesitate to go back for a second vehicle. We called ahead and made an appointment to see a particular vehicle. We worked with both Anthony Scala and Tony Canino. Tony had the car we were interested in detailed and parked out front for us to see when we arrived. The multi-story dealership is quite impressive. From the minute we arrived, we were treated exceptionally well and the Fletcher Jones team did everything possible to make us comfortable. We took the car for a fairly lengthy test drive. Tony was very knowledgeable of the vehicle and helped us understand the various buttons and settings. We were extremely pleased with the car and decided to purchase it. They offered us a very fair value for our trade in, a great deal on the new vehicle, and we were signing paperwork shortly thereafter. Everyone at Fletcher Jones is top notch from the folks in sales, to the porters that prep the cars, to Moe in finance, and last (but not least) Natalie who taught me everything that I could possibly need to know about my new car.

They screwed me! I have had nothing but regrets since working with these scam artists & buying a 2010 MLS 550 in Oct.2011 from Fletcher Jones Mercedes-Benz of Chicago. I have been in a very detail oriented sales career for 25 yrs that requires financial negotiations as my primary responsibility & can't believe they treat their customers as they treated me. They knew I was in a rush & shame on me for trusting them. They do at times appear courteous until the contract is signed & your check is cashed, then it is followed by unreturned phone calls, lost emails & unfortunate for me, lost documentation. The only reason I purchased this car was because they offered to extend the original factory warranty by an additional 2 yrs & 100,000 miles if I purchased that day. I was told I was receiving all the documentation being signed at the closing table only to find the extended warrantee documents included in my deal to no avail. I have been trying to get that & other information from them for 3 months; time I would have otherwise spent in a much less than this aggravating way. I highly recommend not working with Mercedes Benz of Chicago but specifically finance manager Jim Licardie, sales managers Brent Sullivan & Joe Smalzer, sales consultant Jerry Melissaratos. They are very good at playing dumb, but worse is that they treat you as if you are dumb as well! Be forewarned!

I am very knowledgeable about cars and knew the car I wanted. I asked the sales person very specific questions and he knew most all of the answers. The few he didn't know he found out within 5 minutes. Pricing was competitive, beautiful facilities.

Sales, sales support and finance were sensitive to my aesthetic, financial, and after market needs. The overall experience with the dealership was top flight and very appropriate for an organization associated with a luxury brand. I would definitely return for my next vehicle and would recommend the dealership in a heartbeat.

I knew I wanted a new 2010 Mercedes GLK. When i went into Mercedes-Benz of Chicago, I was greated by my sales consultant, Mike. I told him certain parameters I needed to have met in order for me to purchase a new car from them. He and the dealership not only met them, but exceeded my requests. I was in a new car within 3 hours! It was the most satisfying new car purchase I have ever had. Service after the sale has been absolutely a wonderful experience. I have only had an oil change and installation of mudflaps, and the occasional complimentary car wash. Each time, I just showed up, no appointment, was offered a Mercedes loaner car, at no charge, or waited for a very short time in their comfortable lounge. BTW, the car washes are impeccable! I love getting them there, as I get to watch the other Mercedes models of all years and flavors roll through the service bay. If you are a car person, you'd understand this.

This used car purchase was organized completely over the internet and phone. Coming from Indianapolis to Chicago, Ksenia did an awesome job preparing for my visit, preparing the car for delivery, and getting me in and out of the dealership without wasting any more of my time than necessary. For me, it was a very professional experience. I didn't necessarily like the attitude of the person that finished my financing and paperwork, (but that was only 5 minutes of my 90 minute visit.)

I recently leased three new Mercedes-Benz passenger cars from Fletcher Jones for members of my immediate family. While I found the Sales Staff to be very friendly and accommodating, the most outstanding individual I worked with was the Finance Director, Moe Ghanimah. Mr. Ghanimah had a thorough knowledge and command of the financing/leasing process. His professionalism and charismatic approach to our needs was the deciding factor in my decision to do business with Fletcher Jones rather than another Mercedes-Benz dealer. I will be contacting Mr. Ghanimah in 2011 to handle a fourth new vehicle.

No matter when I have called to have a question about using my new S550, someone from the agency was always ready and willing to help answer my question(s). This is a classy, first rate agency! The dealer, Mike Sasso, was great! Very nice, competent and friendly. I was disappointed by financial people who tried to sell as many additional items as they could very quickly, without time to make right decisions after two hours in the dealership. I regret purchasing some additional insurances (not needed). I had a better experience in a different Mercedes Dealer shop in the suburbs the week after, when I bought another Mercedes car. However, I am grateful I met Mike Sasso who I would recommend on a personal level.

It was a very pleasant experience! We traveled 35 miles and chose Mercedes-Benz of Chicago over our neighborhood MB dealer because Mercedes-Benz of Chicago had the right color and options combination along with the right price. We visited our neighborhood MB dealers many times, and every time, the vehicle we wanted was always 3 days and $1400 transportation fees away!!When we went to Mercedes-Benz of Chicago, we drove home with our beautiful new truck in less than 3 hours. Their finance department did a great job on getting us the loan with the terms that we really wanted, no games, no fooling around. Their sales people were friendly and very knowledgeable about the models theyre selling.As long as they keep people like Moe G and Micky Sasso on their team, our next vehicle will be from Mercedes-Benz of Chicago for sure.

Coming from a career of service myself, I am very sensitive to the quality of service that I receive at other establishments. While I usually detect deficiencies at most if not all places that I am at, at Mercedes Benz on Chicago, I detected anything but! Much to my surprise, their attention to detail was quite impressive, making the client feel important and valued from the moment I arrived until I left. As soon as I pull into their service department (which by the way was immaculate), someone is always there to greet me and make sure that my needs are meet. They communicate well, phoning me with updates and expected time of completion of service on my car. When I have gone in to consider buying a car (which we often do- they are the best cars!), again, they make me feel like I am in great hands, because I am. I was reminded how much I like dealing with this dealership when I owned a different car, and I hated dealing with both their service and their sales department. I realized how spoiled I had become, and traded the car in for a Mercedes. I told my sales person at Mercedes-Benz of Chicago that I use, Jim Jordan, that I felt I had come home again. Try this place out--you won't be sorry!

First off let me begin by telling you that going into a Mercedes Benz dealer in work out clothes and having the intention of buying a vehicle unannounced was to my complete shock with it being the best car buying experience to date for me, I have had over 20 vehicles in the last 5 or more years and they all ranged from 30k to 100k+. I was greeted by a young lady who promptly walked me to a gentleman who was my salesman named Tony Canino and before leaving me with Mr.Canino she offered and brought me back a coffee and some fresh baked cookies, that was a nice touch but after all was said and done the treatment I received only surpassed that! Mr.Canino and the pre-driven manager John Willis not only found me the perfect vehicle they had such a persona about them that it felt like I wasn't dealing with your A typical salesmen they made me feel like I was talking to friends. I am a big stickler for customer service and the whole process was FIRST CLASS and I will be planning on go to them from now on!!! Second note, every time that I had to get a hold of Mr.Canino and or Mr. Willis they were there to even get me in and out for the complimentary carwash's with ease great service, great building, and great vehicles what more can you ask for! My experience at the Mercedes Benz Service Drive on Division St was very pleasant. As I entered the building I was greeted by professional staff (Mr. Martinez) with a smile. The Service Drive was busy but staff approach me with assistance immediately. Not always so early in the morning are staff willing and available to assist you in such a proffesional manner. The service I was given and my car was given was outstanding. I will be recommending this dealership to others. Keep up the great work Mr. Martinez, Mr. Peoples and Mr. Hult!

The sales staff was wonderful to work with on my purchase and the service department is honest and upfront with the work needing to be done. They are customer focused which is a big deal when it comes to making the second biggest purchase of a person's life. I've taken all my vehicles to MB-Chicago for servicing and I couldn't be more pleased with the Service Department and Staff there.From the time I drop-off my car to the time I pick it up, the entire staff of MB-Chicago Service Dept couldn't be more gracious or accomodating. Any and all issues are completely resolved to my satisfaction. The Service Dept. people are attentive and quick to answer any questions that I might have.In a world where customers are often-times taken for granted, it's truly a pleasure dealing with the Service Dept. at Mercedes-Benz Chicago. They've taken Customer Service to a whole new level of customer satisfaction.

This dealership is very focused on delivering quality service. I am always greeted immediately when I bring in my car. Omar always give me a fair assessment of what needs to be fixed today and what needs to be done in the future. The repairs I have done have always been prompt and done right the first time. The facilities are clean and comfortable. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else and highly recommend this dealership.

I brought in my 2007 E class for a noise that I kept hearing. Upon arrival I was greeted by a friendly service advisor. I told the advisor that I wanted to wait for my car to be serviced. The waiting area is extremely comfortable with an abundance of amenities (cappuccino maker, flat screen tv's, free wifi). After waiting for approximately 20 minutes, I was brought back to see the technician that looked at my car. Technician Larry was able to explain and visually show me the cause of the noise. It turned out it was a minor suspension issue. In addition to diagnosing the problem I came in for he also did a free inspection overall on my car. I decided to leave my car there for the noise repair and was given a loaner car to use until my car was fixed. Overall I was very impressed by my whole experience and felt very confident that my car was in good hands.

I started buying cars from them before they bought it from the Loebers, who were terrible. I just bought my sixteen year old daughter her first car.

I was looking for a 2010 R-class last month and contacted this dealer over the internet. I was interested in a car that only had under 100 miles (or at least that what they told me) on it and they took $1000 deposit over the phone. George from the dealership told me that he would call me and let me know the exact miles on the car and I was ready to fly to Chicago to take delivery the next day but I never received a call from him until noon. Then I called him and he said he would go to the warehouse to check on the car and call me after an hour and also said that go ahead and book your tickets and everything will be ready when you arrive at the dealership but I did not book my flight tickets. I told him I need an email confirmation with the current miles on it. Then he called me back after an hour and said that "I am sorry to disappoint you because the car has very severe damages but I can give you an identical R350 which has 14,000 miles on it for the same price". I was like what??????????Basically they lied to me saying the R350 had less than 100 miles but originally it had over 14K miles on it and when I asked them the proof then George came up with this BS story saying the car was damaged. How could you deal with the customer without knowing the car was damaged? Even if the car did have damages how come the dealership would sell me an identical demo model with 14k miles for the same price as a brand new R350? Who will buy the demo for the same price as a new model? I hate this dealership. No wonder all over the internet people posted very bad comments on this dealership.I would never advise anyone to deal with this dealer in the future. On the other hand I had a very good experience with another dealer who did everything beyond my expectation and I will be posting comments for them soon.I would advise everyone to read the reviews in the internet before they talk with car dealers.

I have been to several dealerships and MZB of Chicago, Fletcher Jones has won the award for great sevice. I sent an email and Sandra called me to set up an appointment and said that John Willis would be able to answer all my questions. I met John and and I said that I know about BMW's but I don't know much about MZB. Well needless to say, he rolled out the RED CARPET. John educated me on each cars performance in detail...and I undertstood it!!!! This is valuable information that all ladies should ask. John says "on courtesy of MZB we would like for you to test drive a 2010 C-Class". Yes!!! I would love to test drive it! I received a call the next day from Sandra asking how did I like the car. I said I glided to work like a 747 airplane, I really like this car. I told her to tell John to start working on the deal. John and Sandra left a msg on my voicemail regarding a 2006 E-Class with 4,700 miles and that I should check out the web site and let them know what I think about it. I called them back and said are you serious, this car is Sharp and miles are perfect..work the deal on this car NOW!!! I am very, very happy to say I got the car and it is sharp!!! James Licardie and John Willis also worked out the warranty and that made my experience complete. For all single ladies who feel affaid to go car shopping by yourself, stop it....Talk with John Willis, he will make you feel very comfortable, roll out the red carpet, you will feel like a queen and he will make sure that you are happy with the car. I will see you for my next car...The best car shopping experience that I have ever had!!!

The service at Fletcher Jones was convenant and pleasant. The staff was friendly and made me feel like I was a very important customer. I brought in my 08 E350, for the scheduled B service and to fix my check engine light, in the morning on my way to work. I met with Melvin Peoples who was able to provide me with a loaner car while my car was in for repairs. After about two hours after dropping off my car Melvin called to inform me that the B service was complete and that the check engine light was fixed and covered under the manufacters warrenty. At that time he also told me that my car was due for a couple of other maintance items so I agreed to have a brake fluid flush performed. All the work was done in a timly fashion and I was able to pick up my car right after work. This was a much better experience than I have had at other dealerships before and I am going to return for my next service.

Asking speaking with Mr Willis on several occasions, I decided to venture into Chicago. During my telephone conversations, Mr. Willis claimed to have spoken with the previous owner on numerous occasions, a 150 point inspection was performed on the car and some other odds and ends.Upon my arrival, I was approached by another "sales" man, Mr. Canino. Mr. Canino grabbed the keys in order for me to perform my inspection and take the car for a test drive. Upon starting the car, with the hood open, I asked the "salesman" about the exhaust leak coming from the engine compartment. "That's normal for these cars" was his response. After the test drive was complete, I asked Mr. Canino to see the 150 point inspection performed by the dealership. After 90 minutes, he sent the used car manager over to inform me they could not find it. "It's Saturday and we do not have access to this." Interesting, you're a car dealership and do not have access to this and other information due to it being the weekend. I go ahead with the purchase. Of course, Fletcher wanted to take care of "everything".Imagine my surprise, not really, when I take it to a European car service shop to find out the following was not caught on their 150 point inspection; Leaking transmission, headers were heated and twisted in order to fit the heads, leaking passenger side valve cover, service F due, broken supercharger cooler reservoir mount, no SAT, no manuals, wheel bearings needed attention and super charger belt at 50%.I email this service order to Mr. Canino who assures me that FJ Mercedes Benz will cover half of the cost and the check is in the mail.I'm going on 3 weeks now with no check and no license plate.

Bunch of crooks!They sold me a maintenance plan saying that I will get a full refund if I do not use any of their services. I cancelled the plan before I used any of the services, but they still did not give me a full refund, instead prorating it based on the time for which I had the maintenance contract. So, they charged me more than $200 for providing no service, although when they sold the contract to me, they said that they will not charge me anything if they did not provide any service. Read the fine print very carefully and do not believe anything the sales person tells you!

I bought a used SL65. I am from out of state. Ken said the deal must close in 2 days. I wanted the car so that was OK. After that any questions that I had took days if not weeks to answer. Many times he lied. Maybe it's a good dealership but I'd never buy another car from this guy.

Same exact experience. Clueless. They never have gotten my car fixed in time -- last time i was there put in wrong tires (different than what i ordered) then charged me for the loaner that I wouldn't have needed.I hate these guys -- I will never buy a Mercedes again until they allow another dealer in town.

I went in to buy a new CLK550 trading in my 2003 Acura CL with only 25K miles on it. I had received a letter from Brent the GM inviting me in. I test drove a car asked them a couple of questions and to check the cars incoming to find one equipped the way I wanted. When they realized that I wasn't interested in the 350 they had in stock or a year old 500 demo, they rapidly lost interest. The salesman was to call when a certain car arrived. Met Brent while there, he couldn't care less. No call, no follow up and I run a company that does business with them and they knew it. Not a word, couldn't be bothered. Wow, what a pathetic experience for someone wanting to buy a 70K car. Pitiful. Their business must be great, they had no interest in selling me a car.

Don't let the fact that this is a Mercedes dealer fool you...this is the sleaziest organization I have ever dealt with when it comes to purchasing an automobile. Check any purchase out thoroughly with verifiably independent sources, especially if considering any of their used cars. <br><br>After receiving the car, I discovered a leaky roof, broken seat adjusment motor, previous water damage and the motor would intermittently stall. Subsequent attempts to recitify led to nothing but frustration. The GM, Brent Sullivan, ignores any/all correspondence. The salesman, Mark Jay, pleasantly tells you there is nothing he can/will do.<br><br>I guess when they say their 'Name Means a Great Deal' they are not talking about quality and/or good customer service.

This dealer managed to destroy my stereo and said they would pay for a replacement. I submitted the paperwork TWICE and never saw a penny.<br><br>I also took my car in for an oil change and to replace bulb in one of my front driving lights that burned out. After I left the dealership, I found the light still burnt out and then my "Low Washer Fluid" warnig light came on. They did not refresh my fluids...did they even change my oil? Who knows. I called and the service manager told me to come in the next day at 8:00 am, and they will take care of everytrhing while I wait. I waited for THREE HOURS and when they gave me the car back, the driving light was STILL burnt out. And they gave ME attitude, like it was my fault. Not even a "We're sorry" .<br><br>These people are clueless. And there is a BMW dealer right across the street. Guess where I'm going next spring for my new car.
