Didn't feel like a high end dealership that you would expect from a Benz place. People were ok but I felt like I was in Hyundai dealership. You can't beat a Mercedes Benz car- but this dealership felt old and was missing that luxury feeling.

I'll be the first to tell you that I HATE CAR DEALERSHIPS and I've had bad experiences with them in the past. First off my sales person "Surinder" needs an award and should be the employee of the month. I was in the market for a new car because the car that I had was a 2007 and it was showing it's age and since I had bad experiences with dealers in the past I decided to look online. I saw this 2013 Mercedes-Benz that I feel in love with and decided to put in an application. Within minutes I get the first call informing me that they are working on my app. Minutes after that call Surinder calls and begins updating on what's going on. I've played this game before and wasn't expecting much bit throughout the day he called periodically to update me and from that point I was impressed by how genuine and hardworking he was, I've never experienced that before from a dealer. The deal was completed that night and I was shocked. Not only did I get my Mercedes, I got a 2015 to which I wasn't expecting at all. Good job Mercedes Benz Bakersfield

I've had really bad experiences before with car dealers, therefore I've always viewed car salesmen as money hungry sharks just waiting for you to slip and eat your bank account whole. This dealership completely changed my perspective on car sales... I was being a hard customer and just stubborn and dense throughout the whole deal and to be honest that was completely unnecessary of me since I got a great deal on a Mercedes-benz, or the best deal I should say, right from the get go.

My daughter and I had the best car buying experience we could have ever asked for! We were interested in a used car that they advertised. We left our contact info on their website in the evening and the very next morning we were contacted. He said that the car was still available so we went there that afternoon to check it out. He let us take it for a test drive for as long as we wanted and was not pushy in any way. We decided to purchase the vehicle and everything from start to finish went so smoothly. He was so nice and so fair. Such a gentleman! He even put gas and sent it through the car wash for us! Afterwards, my daughter and I talked about how great everything turned out. We are very happy customers and would recommend Mercedes to anyone in the market for another vehicle.

I had originally called another Mercedes dealership in Valencia to mount a front license plate on my car and they were not helpful. I called this dealership and the people were very helpful. I drove 1 hr in my own car with the mount and they had it installed free of charge within 20 minutes. The waiting room was very clean with refreshments and the person who installed the mount was extremely friendly and helpful. Everyone there was so friendly. Never again Valencia. Bakersfield is my new spot.

They do awesome work quickly and I trust them, which is hard to find in other car service & repair shops. My Mercedes has run trouble free since I bought it and have had all the service done here. They have never said or done anything that was even remotely suspicious.

From the time I stepped out of my vehicle Jennifer treated me like a friend that she wanted to help, not just a customer to sell. We were going to purchase a Mercedes from another dealership and decided to take the car to Sangera to get their expert opinion on the car. Luckily for us, we were led to Surinder Mangat, who was so polite and helpful. The car was a bust, but Surinder took our information and told us he would call us if the car we were looking for came in. He did, and because of him, we were able to easily purchase a low mileage and absolutely pristine SL500 convertible. And, due to the excellent condition of the car, we were able to get a platinum warranty for it. We were treated with respect by everyone at Sangera, and they made the purchase process stress-free. When I went in for my delivery lesson, I was given German chocolate as a gift. The GM, Joel, made sure everything went well, and Surinder gave us a couple of follow-up calls to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We are. Thank you, Surinder, Joel, and Sangera, for a wonderful experience.

I would definitely buy there again. Every single person who works there is friendly, not pushy! They were more than willing to look up comparative prices at other dealers. They want more than anything for the customer to be happy. Excellent atmosphere. I felt pleased that I got a very good deal with a very good used car with only 5,000 miles. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Mercedes here. The salesperson was great. I told him what I wanted in a car and to my surprise they had "the" car on their lot. The purchase process was painless and they even facilitated getting out of state plates for the car. The car had a vibration and after a day in the shop, it was fixed! The following day The salesperson called to follow up on the performance of the car. They really went the extra mile for us!

Pleasantly surprised. I hate car shopping because of the sleazy salesmen. You can never get a straight answer and they only want to know "how much do you want to pay every month". My wife was looking for a new car for almost 2 weeks with no luck. She found a car on-line right here on cars.com at Mercedes Bakersfield. After talking to the sales rep he offered to bring the car up to Tehachapi (1 hour away!!!) so she could see it. After she fell in love with it he did all the paperwork over the phone and had it ready when we picked the car up. We spent a total of 20 mins in the dealership. When we need a new car that is the first place I am going!!

After e-mailing to all Mercedes-Benz dealers within 300 miles radius of Las Vegas, to my surprise, Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield was the only one that replied, without being pretentious, arrogant and dismissive as a big majority of Los Angeles and San Francisco area dealers. I didn't understand how come a sales person can be dismissive and so rude when they work on commission. C'mon man! I'm not buying a some piece of crap. They made sure that every detail of the car and the price was right, and the second one on working with my less then stellar credit. Paperwork done within one business day, sent back and by day three i owned my new black Mercedes-Benz. I wish all the sales and finance guys in my area would take some lessons form this guys in Bakersfield how to handle a customer and deal with all kinds of personalities. No questions were unanswered regarding the vehicle purchase, financing making my life so much easier! Would i buy another car from this guys? Hell ya! You guys got a customer for life! Thank you!

I never felt he tried to trick me into getting HIM a good deal, and was always honest. He took into consideration my financial situations (i.e. working/student my personal budget) and it has always worked out in the end. Their maintenance staff is very good as well! This is one location where I feel that I don't get ripped off. They never try to sell me something that I don't need. They always try to make sure that my car is taken care of. They also try to make sure that if something is wrong with your car and it's still under warranty they will make sure you don't have to pay for it. The best part about this place is the staff. I suggest going with Jennifer if you are looking for a Mercedes. The girl is straight up and seemed very honest. I was not impressed with the finance guy selling the extended warranty. I had my first new car buying experience with Sangera Mercedes-Benz, and I am writing my review based not only on this experience, but on my experience with other dealerships in the area. I had my choice of vehicles narrowed down to the BMW and Audi when I started contacting dealerships by email. Surinder, from Sangera replied quickly and provided some general information on the cost of the car. A week or two later, when I decided I wanted to lease, I emailed all of the Mercedes dealerships I could think of requesting the terms of a lease for a new Mercedes. I wanted more than just the monthly cost, which dealerships often hide behind on lease deals. Not only was the Bakersfield price the lowest (by a considerable amount), Surinder provided me with all of the information I needed, and did not resort to pushy tactics to get me into the dealership. Some of the other dealerships I contacted wanted me to call them to get their quotes, and then immediately jumped into setting up an appointment with a salesman. Additionally, when I called some of these dealerships to clarify, the price they quoted me included accessories and other useless crap that I did not ask for. Bakersfield was upfront, direct, and easy to work with. I did my due diligence of actually going to another dealership to see what would happen, and the process was a stark contrast to my experience with Surinder. Since I contacted a couple of dealerships over the internet, and established a relationship with that person, I expected to have the process handled by that same person throughout the car-buying process. This was the case at Bakersfield, and it made an INCREDIBLE difference. The other dealership handed me off to the typical salesman, who proceeded to go through the car dealership charade of hiding behind the monthly cost, going back and forth to negotiate with the sales manager, etc, etc. I honestly don't understand why some dealerships think this works with internet car sales, but obviously they are still able to make their money by conning people in this manner, as they keep doing it. When I went into Bakersfield, Surinder was there to greet me, and had the exact car I was looking for out front, and had all of the initial paperwork ready, with the same prices I had been given by email. Instead of trying to sneak in accessories that I don't want, or expensive maintenance packages (hello people, barely any maintenance is required on new cars for the first 3 years), he mentioned some accessories that were popular, and gave me the cost upfront. He guided me through the credit application process, which was a bit more complicated as I had a co-signer, and was their every step of the way, including following up with me after I had made the purchase. If you know what car you want, email all the dealerships that you can think of, ask for all of the costs, not just the monthly cost. Ask if it includes accessories or other "packages" that you did not ask for. Don't go into the dealership until they give you this information. If you're looking for a Mercedes, it doesnt matter where you live, Bakersfield will have the lowest price, and give you the best experience.

My sales consultant, Leo, took me through the leasing experience seamlessly. I don't like playing games or getting surprised, and Leo did none of that. The price he quoted me on the phone is the price I got. No wait, I got a BETTER PRICE because his original quote was for 12k miles and I only needed 10k miles. This was not the first Mercedes dealership I visited, but the others were not able to earn my business. They treated me fairly and gave me a great price on my new C-Class. This review is for the service department only. I brought my car in on a parts recall and they checked me in right away, put down protective mats and plastic in the car and asked if I wanted it washed; a free service they provide. As soon as I sat down, fresh coffee was made and cookies offered. They were dealing with a temporary power outage and so many computers were down, but they were cheerful and managing, not cowed and angry at the tech disaster. They have a little store which offers car and truck gadgets like license plates, steering wheel covers, etc. They also offer a courtesy shuttle to ferry you anywhere you would like while your car is being repaired. Dealing with car repair is never as fun as say, a barrel of monkeys, but they have made the process as painless as possible.

I stopped in on a Friday afternoon, after making an online appointment to have a recall issue fixed on my car. Upon arrival, I was told they have to order the part and it would take a week. They said if I didn't hear from them, to call to make sure part arrived and to schedule appointment. They didn't call so I used the online chat to see if my part had arrived and they said they would research it and have someone call me..... They scheduled my appointment to have the recall fixed the next day. It was an easy drop off process. They offered me a ride home and a pickup. The driver called me 30 minutes before he picked me up. He too was very friendly. The lobby has fresh popped popcorn for customers. They also have coffee and free wifi. There are multiple tvs and multiple couches in the waiting area. I definitely will take my car here for any service issues in the future.

This has to do with the service guys-they're all pretty much great. Efficient in getting everything done, super polite and they fixed my car...twice! Plus it was under recall and it didn't cost me anything. I'm not one that tends to take my car into a dealership to get it worked on for various reasons but I'll be sure to take my car in here, even if it's not under recall. Although Mercedes vehicles sell themselves, it was a pleasure working with Sangera. My husband, son, and I visited this place in July to explore some vehicle options. We worked with the staff to find the perfect fit for our family (the GL450 comfortably fits multiple car seats!) We negotiated a fair price and left feeling extremely comfortable with the price we paid for such a high quality car. Alright... I have mixed feelings here. But when I really look at what was bothering me about my experiences with Sangera, it came down to Mercedes Benz, not Sangera, as the problem. Let's break it down. 2.5 years ago, my trusty 13 year old Honda died. I was alone and scared and taking alternate means to get around... I had never bought a car before (bought the Honda off my parents at 18). A friend who is car savvy put me in touch with a guy he knew at Sangera. They talked through what I wanted and brought me a Certified Benz... Yes you read that right. They came to my place so I could test drive the car. I liked it and decided to buy it. My friend suggested getting an extended warranty (WARNING: DO NOT DO THIS) and so I did. I was green, I was new... I didn't know what I was doing. The Mercedes wasn't so bad. It felt super fancy after driving a 1990's Honda civic. It had seat heaters. And a CD player. (Turns out the tape player on my old car was a little outdated.) Fast forward 2.5 years. My Mercedes makes me angry. But that isn't Sangera's fault. I've replaced 9 light bulbs in 2 years... NINE! I didn't replace ONE on my Honda. This year was the first time I had the need to use my warranty. My recently acquired husband (shhh don't tell him I referred to him like that...) was skeptical of the warranty but the first time out of the gate, it saved us $700. Sweet! (except it cost around $3000) It was today that made me really mad. Did you know extended warranties don't cover airbags? Yeah. I have an airbag issue and the warranty won't cover it. Try as hard as he might, they service guy couldn't convince them to cover it... or the CV joint boot... So that is thousands of dollars of repairs that my thousands of dollars of warranty won't cover. But is that Sangera's fault? No... (they did sell it to me but I did buy it...) The service people at Sangera are super friendly and kind. They really listen to whatever you need and are very helpful. The lounge at Sangera is stocked with snacks and drinks and wifi. Not a bad place to hang out. They are pretty efficient at their work and I haven't had an issue with my car being stuck in repair limbo. Overall, I am frustrated with Mercedes and the warranty but I have been treated with nothing but respect from the guys here. They even offered a loaner since my car will be there overnight. AND they even offered to take us to the dealership that my husband's car is at (YES, two cars being repaired on the same day... dumb luck) if we needed it. I can't say I would recommend buying a Mercedes but if you have one, this is the place to go for service!

I can't say that I've experienced a quicker service on my cars. Not only were they speedy, but they were very upfront about the expected costs and services needed for my car. I was only in there for a routine maintenance and maybe a potential diagnostic, but as soon as I mentioned something outside of the regular service - the guy let me know what that would cost. I know this is a little thing, but they also wash your car. I have to say that it's nice to see when other dealers seem to be getting rid of the wash altogether to cut costs. I will say that I don't need two emails and a phone call to follow up on my service. I'm pretty sure that if I'm not satisfied I'd let you know, but hey - you know what they say about assuming. Kudos to them for making sure you're happy with what they've done to your car.

Customer Service for Sales was awesome. Everyone was very helpful and made sure I got exactly what I was looking for. I leased a 2014 C250 I saw at a golf tournament. My credit was a bit shot due to isolated circumstances, but the director and sales consultant were very helpful and were able to let me walk out with key and car in hand. I will pay more than I wanted to a month, but I am ok with that, especially with the quality of this car. I am very pleased with my car and look forward to future service with them. I'm glad I chose this dealership.

I purchased my first Mercedes from these guys 4 years ago, and have had 1 repair and several routine maintenance trips there. They were always helpful, polite, and prompt with everything they did, every step of the way. I don't live in Bakersfield now and really miss their service! I came in the other day just to see what they had and was treated with the most professional, sincere and humanized service I have ever received. They offered to wash my car (even though it was really old), my salesperson remembered me by name.. OMG!!! That was an awesome feeling. I didnt buy anything, just looked, and was treated like royalty. When its time -- I will definitely come back to buy.

By far the best Mercedes dealership this side of the Rockies! I say this with great truth -- being an MB lover and a gearhead -- this is where I take my MB. I trust the service department with my car on any repairs that I don't do myself. I love the people who work at this dealership and I certainly trust them working on my car. Although this is not the largest dealership in the area, you still get the best price when buying a new car -- and the service is on point. That is why I drive 70+ miles to deal with these guys/gals.

He. won't sell you what you don't want and will try and help you if he can. You will not have to grab a shower to clean yourself after dealing with Cambell. Maybe the best car buying experience I've had in 30 years. Thumbs up for employing people like him and your finance manager BJ.

I hate buying cars. The technique I've used the last several times is to settle in on a specific make, model and feature pack. Arrange your financing early then do a phone/fax/email blitz of all dealers in the area. Get some good offers, then play them against one another until you get a good deal. The last two cars I've purchased have been Mercedes-Benz and they have both been from this dealership. Why? Simply because they have been the cheapest after working my plan. My brother-in-law works for another dealer in LA, and Bakersfield has even beaten the "employee price" deal I got from his dealer. I'm not saying you should walk into Bakersfield and take whatever price they offer. Get a few good offers and see what this dealer can offer. For whatever reason, they seem to compete on price. Maybe they are hungry or something, don't know. I can't comment on their service department or any other part of the dealership.

I just purchased my first vehicle from Mercedes-benz Bakersfield. I worked with Surinder online, and he was very good to me. Never pushy, even when I was going to go with another dealership. It turned out that the other dealer could not deliver and Bakersfield got the vehicle I wanted, so I came back. I reached out to Surinder once again, and he was helpful and professional. Surinder did a great job of setting my expectations for all of the steps of the process. After the test drive, it was only 45 minutes and I was on my way home. I had pre-arranged financing and knew exactly what I wanted, so the rest was just formalities. Bakersfield made the rest a piece of cake. I'm sorry I wasted my time at that other dealer.

I recently bought a car from Sangera. I already had credit union financing so that wasn't an issue. I went through their internet sales team and asked them to match the price of a similar car that CarMax was selling in LA. They emailed me back that they would match the price which actually saved me money and time/trouble to drive back and forth. It was the best car buying experience I have ever had. No bickering about price. From the time I walked in, test drove the car, signed all the documents, and drove off...it was done in under 45 minutes. They are very professional with me and made buying a car a pleasure.

As far as Mercedes service goes in the central CA area, this is as good as it gets. It's expensive, but if you're coming here, you own a Mercedes and expect that. I drive up and down CA all week and even though I live in LA, I always make it point to plan my service around this place. It really is the best Mercedes- dealership I have been to. Here's what I really like most about the Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield service experience: 1. They give you a free Mercedes loaner car! This is hard to beat. Getting to drive around in a brand new MB for the day is awesome. 2. Available parts, resources, and the cleanest shop in town. At independent shops, sometimes they'll need to get parts from the dealer extending the amount of time it takes to get your car back. Here at the dealer, they have most things in stock. Their shop is also the cleanest one I've ever seen. If you're here for service, ask if you can take a peek in the garage sometime, it's so clean it's hard to believe. 3. Joe, the parts dept. expert, is awesome. I've been in here countless times for parts to the point where he now remembers me there. You can also call in and provide a list of part numbers to have waiting for you when you arrive. Everything about Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield is top notch except for the pricing. It's an expensive place, but it's also the best. I think you definitely get what you pay for here.

I don't have any experience with the sales side of the dealership, but the service side was fantastic. Brian took care of me every time I brought my C-class in and took care of all my questions and concerns with no hassle. The facility was clean and comfortable if for some reason you had to stay and wait for awhile. Cars are tricky business, especially German luxury ones. So I have been a loyal customer of BMW since I can remember. I really never thought I'd drive anything but a BMW. However they are as high maintenance as a Beverly Hills housewife and after having to take my X3 for repairs almost every other month, I did my research and decided to branch out. I was first going to just try out a used C350, but my sales person, Surinder negotiated a terrific deal on a brand new 2014. And now I am in LOVE. Their newly designed service area is uber swanky. My friend has an C-class that has 145,000 miles on it and has been relatively trouble free. Great location, exceptional service and the car isn't too bad either. I miss my awesome advisor at BMW, but look forward to establishing new beginnings with Mercedes-benz of Bakersfield.

TWO THUMBS UP to Max over at the preowned department of Mercedes. Purchased an SUV from him a couple of weeks ago and he made the process simple and transparent. I was looking for a vehicle for my wife. My first visit was alone, on a Thursday after work, stopped by to see the inventory. Saw the vehicle I liked and told him my wife would stop by over the weekend to look at it. I couldn't go because I was working. Yeah, I can't believe either that I sent my wife alone to a car dealership, but when it feels right you just have to go with the flow. My wife also like the SUV, so I spoke with Max over the phone, sealed the deal and that was it! Monday came around and everything came out just as planned. What really impressed me most was the customer service after the sale. I had to follow up with a couple of questions and Max was always quick to answer and/or return calls. My next car will be with Max, ask for him.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I found a wonderful 2011 Honda Accord fully loaded. I inquired about it online and first thing the next morning, I got a phone call from Surinder to talk about the vehicle, asked if I had any questions, and wanted to come in and schedule a test drive. I went in later that day, and met with him. He was so friendly, honest and very knowledgeable about the car I was test driving. They offered me a very fair amount for my trade in and then I headed off to the financing department. The Finance Manager there was very nice and she explained everything to me in full detail. I fully take advantage of the FREE car washes (I'm there about once every other week) during my lunch break. Not only does my car look beautiful when they're done, but they are always aware of my lunch break and finish within 15-20 minutes. I strongly recommend this car dealership to those who are looking for a new or used vehicle -- the free car washes apply to both for as long as you own the car.

I absolutely loved working with this dealership. They rolled out the red carpet even though I was buying a used car and not a new fancy Mercedes. Everyone was so friendly and approachable. I had an absolutely amazing experience with Phil. He listened to what I wanted for price point and color and found me exactly what I needed. I had always been a bit intimidated by this place, with its very high end cars. But when I showed up - I was in shock at how much cheaper it was. Glad I went here instead of the hyundai i was looking at. Now I drive a Brand new Mercedes. I was so pleasantly surprised by the high quality, attentive, and humble service. We popped in to Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield on a Saturday to take a peek at the C's we saw on the lot. We had no appointment; we walked right in and were greeted by the lovely receptionist. We were paired up with Henry, and were promptly taken to view some pre-owned certified C's. They had a number of them on the lot that day. Before walking in the door, I had zero knowledge of the Mercedes lines. I'm admittedly not a car person so I know that I asked some of the most off-the-wall questions of Henry as we looked at the C's. He was so patient in his explanations and made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I would strongly recommend working with him! We took the C out for a spin and fell in love. We then asked the most important question - do you have any in another color? - and voila, one was brought in that morning. Lucky us! Ken was very patient as crunched numbers and talked through options (I wound up trading in my CR-V and they honored the price that Honda was going to give me to trade in), and at the end of the day, we wound up with a certified pre-owned C that we absolutely adore. The financing process was very pleasant and super easy. I also appreciated the tour of my vehicle (I swear its smarter than me) as well as the tour of the Mercedes dealership, which is really massive and very customer-oriented. Every staff member was so polite and willing to help!

I despise the whole process of getting a new car. I've had nothing but horrible experiences with sneaky slimy dealers and their motives to get me to purchase a car. The last experience ( I won't name them but they're right down the street and start with a B and end with a W) had me crying the entire way home ( needless to say I didn't get a car from them!). Because of that experience, I've was on the fence about trading in my money guzzling Mercedes. Campbell Cameron was great to work with. He showed me exactly what I asked to see. He never once pushed my buttons or attempted to persuade me to do something outside of my means. He was friendly, and answered all the questions I had. He made the entire process as painless as it could be and I couldn't be happier with my new ride. I can definitely see myself as an Campbell and Mercedes customer for a long time. It was time to buy a new car and I was dreading the wheeling and dealing that has to go on to buy a car. Who has the time and energy for that anymore?! I had 3 cars that I was researching and needed to test drive. My first stop was Sangera ,I was immediately greeted (not attacked) by Lalo, who was warm, personable and very knowledgeable . After showing me a car I was interested in and explaining all the options, I received a price for the car I had chosen. I explained I had two other cars I wanted to check out and would get back to them. Well, the other dealerships were not as friendly, professional or accommodating. I went back to Sangera, Lalo found me the car that I love with the specific options I wanted, went on his day off to pick it up and I bought my beautiful new C250 that week. Great price, great warranty, great experience. I can't imagine a better experience for purchasing a car!

My experience quickly turned into the internet sales manager, Surinder, trying to steal me away from the very nice and kind Jennifer, who I had already been working with for two hours. After addressing Surinder's unprofessional behavior with a sales manager, Joel, he promised to get back to me about questions I had regarding the ML350. Not only did Joel never return my call to follow up on his word, he did not return another call from a subsequent voicemail. He read and never replied to my text messages following up about the vehicle. Then Jennifer told me the car had quickly been moved and she could not find it. Jennifer was very helpful, kind, relatable and great. Joel and Surinder failed miserably in professionalism. VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR A MERCEDES DEALER. MANAGEMENT FELL WAY BELOW STANDARD.

My first and only car, a 1995 Subaru with well over 200,000 miles on it needed a new home, so the hubs and I started looking for something a bit newer. It's so nerve racking buying a new car but the salesman at Sangera are so nice. The hubs and I took our sweet time finding the right car for us, around 4 weeks going back to the dealership and looking at their different vehicles. We also went to other dealerships (BMW, Lexus and AUdi) and Mercedes is by far the best. BMW people were not very helpful or knowledgeable and Audi people were insanely pushy. We worked with Jesse and Mike, mostly with Jesse but with Mike on the last day. Both were great and I highly recommend them both. Mike also helped another family member purchase their car and highly recommend him as well! As for the service department, my family loves Subaru and we get our cars serviced here. Amanda has taken awesome care of our cars! If you're going to buy a Mercedes or Subaru, go to Sangera!

I was looking for a new car, as I had sold mine and needed a new one. I was looking at Mercedes with a newer body but not the brand new one because I don't like the lights on the back of the new ones. We found a Mercedes here, used, and it looked sharp. We arrived I think on a Friday and Lalo, the salesman, helped us. He was very casual, in a good way, not pushy like most car salesman. He said he'd been there quite a few years and this was the best dealership in town. Nice. It also just got a a distinction award for being one of the top Mercedes dealerships. Don't get me wrong, I don't normally fall for stupid awards like that, but for them I can believe it. Throughout looking for a car, I've dealt with many a shady dealerships, and Sangera was one of the best ones. Lalo is great, he put up with my very... overwhelming dad let's say haha. Though it's understandable when you deal with so many shady salesman trying to screw you out of your money. Kraig (don't know if I spelled that right) the financial officer, was very nice. He explained everything and made me feel comfortable. Overall I was very satisfied and hope to continue having a good experience with Sangera Mercedes :)

I was in the market for a new car for my son and was shopping around for a fair deal. Like a good consumer, I called a few dealers to inquire about prices and then we test drove a car at Sangera Benz. The salesman, Phil Turley, was a real class act. He patiently explained the car to us, and pointed out all the features as we drove around. He was very laid back - no gimmicks, no creepy salesman jive, no pushiness. After our drive, we chatted with him and the sales manager but decided to wait a bit and make sure we did our homework. After researching other dealers (including the awful and sexist BMW dealership), I found that Sangera Mercedes had a very good price - but more importantly, Phil was the ONLY salesperson that was respectful and sincere. That sealed the deal for us. We went in and purchased the car and are very happy with our experience there. I would recommend Sangera - and make sure you work with Phil for the most positive car buying experience you will ever have. I have bought many cars in my day and this is the one I feel the best about.

We recently bought a new car from the Subaru part of this dealership. Having had many bad experiences from many dealerships in the past (pushy salesmen, bad repair service, surprise bills), this was a breath of fresh air. Their salesmen were nothing but professional and informative, never pushed us to make a decision, went out of their way to find the right model/trim of the car we wanted, and negotiated a fair price for the car and our trade-in. I was especially happy that they didn't play games with the trade-in; they printed out the KBB report, picked the condition (which I agreed with) and paid that number. Delivery was flawless. My first experience with their service department was when I noticed the TPMS alarm when driving to work and found a huge stick protruding out of my tire sidewall. I drove the car to the dealer, and they swapped out the tire within 30 minutes, even though I didn't have an appointment. I was hugely grateful! My first scheduled service experience with them was this week as we had a minor issue with a rattle in the headliner. They gave me a free loaner (which was a late model Subaru, no less), fixed the issue quickly, and got me my car back within a day. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Great place to buy (and service) your Subaru.

I bought my Mercedes from a semi-shady parking lot dealership about 2 years ago. Needless to say, it needed some work done on it. I have brought it to Sangera a few times and have always been impressed with their customer service. They will let me know what is wrong with my car and help me prioritize the services. I like this because at other car places, they will just give you a long list of things you should have done and tell you that you need to do all of it right away. I only give them a 4 star because of the prices. I have brought my car to non-Mercedes places and sometimes it winds up being cheaper. The problem is that not everyone knows how to work on a Mercedes... So, it really is a gamble. Overall, I have used Sangera for about 90% of my cars work. Sometimes it is spendy, but I knew that when I bought it. But I do really trust them. To their credit - I am an avid researcher - called dealerships all over the country and their prices were better than almost everyone. So they really did earn my trust, especially being a conservative woman. I would recommend that if you ever need work done here to just drop your car off and give them the day to work on it. The waiting area is nice too, they have snacks and coffee if you want to wait.

Just moved into town. Had maintenance done here twice. They are very friendly and efficient. They keep you updated on how things are going. They are honest about how long it will take. The service prices are reasonable. They have not tried to be pushy or upsell services or parts, etc. I feel like I can trust them. They always run my car through the car wash immediately after the service. Best car service experience I have ever had are here.

After a nightmare of a visit to Fresno and Los Angeles we ended up going to Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield and we could not of had a more pleasant experience. Not only were they pleasant and easy to work with... they were so accommodating to whatever we needed. They found the car we wanted and gave it to us at a FANTASTIC price. I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to buy a Benz. If you have a trade-in they will negotiate and give you the best deal. These guys are excellent. I came in near the end of my car search, and knew that I'd be buying that day if I really fell in love with a E-Class. I told them I had looked at other cars (e.g. BMW and Audi), and they were relaxed and cool and said "sure, I'll show you what we have." They didn't try to rattle off about why a Mercedes-Benz is better than an BMW or Audi and whatnot, which was refreshing. I appreciated their very laid-back approach. They respected the fact that, as a car nerd, I know my technical details and I do my research on the cars I look at. So I worked with a rep at his desk searching their inventory. We took two test drives. The rep was knowledgeable and patient as I checked out both cars -- I never felt rushed, so I took my time because I was starting to love the E-Class and I really wanted to be sure that I was going to be happy with my choice. It was obvious he wanted me to buy, but he never once got pushy with it. I spent a while mulling it over, drinking their free beverages and eating their cookies :D So I told him I was interested in the less expensive one (the more expensive E-Class had Lane Tracking add ons, not really worth the extra $$ in my opinion), and we went through my credit and finances. He never pressured me into buying the more expensive car because he respected that I didn't think it was worth the extra dough. After a reasonable wait (I know it can be a pain to run credit and call banks and everything, but they checked up with me every so often), they had me lined up with an approval. My credit is good, but since it was my first big financed purchase, it was light. The sales manager explained everything about the loan to me clearly -- I had read up on everything online, but it was nice to hear it in person. We worked out a final price on the car in the normal dealer-buyer haggling style. I asked to drive the car one more time before making a final decision, they said "sure thing man, go out and have fun!" Took another spin, and definitely loved it. So I agreed to buy! It did take a little bit to run all the paperwork, but that's expected as well. They were moderately busy (Friday afternoon), but never skimped on checking up with me. When I sat down with the sales manager to sign the papers, he went through each document and clearly explained what was what. They detailed the car, gave it a full tank, and set me on my way! If I had any criticism, it'd be that Mercedes-Benz's basically sell themselves, so the reps can get away with being kind of lazy :D Well, not lazy, but totally laid-back, which makes the whole experience so much more relaxing. The showroom is clean, everyone is nice, everything is upbeat, they have a huge inventory, free refreshments, etc. Perhaps the best thing is that they reflect the feeling that a Mercedes gives you -- it's a happy, cool, hip car, and they realize that there's no reason to be pushing potential buyers around. Buying a car should be an enjoyable experience, and it was!

I needed to find a place to have my MB serviced. I was having trouble with the remote sensor for the locks and on the ignition. Based on the reviews, I thought I would give Sangera a try. I dropped the car at 8:30 am. By 9:30, the car was ready. Turned out all I needed was a new battery for my key. I was ready to pay $200-300 which is the usual fee anytime I take my car in for service. Today's service was free of charge. Service does not get much better than that. Thanks SangeraI!

My father was in the market for a new car, so we stopped by the Mercedes-benz dealership. When I first arrived, I saw the show room, and it looked marvelous. Impressive! The waiting room was also impressive and I was able to sit down and watch football as my dad shopped. After watching some football, I went to the lot and found my dad looking at used cars and talking to one of the salesmen. (Campbell) He was friendly and answered all our questions. Looking at everyone's reviews on here, I feel really comfortable about our purchasing here and cant pinpoint anything wrong. We got all our questions answered and that was that. Overall this was probably the best car buying time I have ever had.

This review is for the used car sales department, I can't speak to any of the others: I had a great experience working with Mikey G to buy a used Toyota on a tight timeline. It's a stressful thing to buy a car, but they were super accommodating, let me test drive it, take it to my mechanic, fixed every single thing that my mechanic found, and then let me pick it up a day later than we would have ordinarily due to a family emergency. And helped me with my baby when I was trying to install my car seat. Sorry she wasn't as friendly, guys! I really liked them and got a great car.

I called Mercedes Bakersfield, because I bought a car there in 2006, and I had a good experience. I spoke to Surinder, and then Joel. I told Jel that I had just had a trying experience with another dealership. After talking to him for a few minutes, I knew this was where I was going to buy my new car. Surinder was such a nice guy. He treated me consistently well, even when i was leaning toward not making a deal that day. I could tell that he'd be a gentleman, no matter what. He knew everything there was to know about the cars, and was accomodating the whole time I was there. Joel knew my situation, and worked with me on financing for a number of combinations of cars and loan terms. He helped me weigh my leasing options, also. He was so down to earth, and it was easy to see that he loves his job, and helping people. I, honestly, did not think that I would be approved for the rate that I received, or for a car as nice as the Mercedes Benz I purchased. I talked to a friend that has been with another dealership for years, and he couldn't believe the deal that I received. I can say with confidence that you won't be treated any better, or receive a better deal than you will at Mercedes Bakersfield. I've left car deals in the past with that uneasy feeling in my stomach. I felt great leaving here, and my wife and family even mentioned that. There's a lot to be said for dealing with people that treat you like family, and Joel and Surinder did just that! Go ask for these guys! Thank you guys so much!!!

I see that all service people get praised but let me put in a good word for Liz (the cashier), she is a very polite and treats clients with a lot of respect - not to mention she is absolutely beautiful. I have been there for car washes before and went this time for service and Liz has always been very graceful and nice. My first concern was purchasing a vehicle on the internet from such a long distance (San Francisco to Bakersfield). My second concern was is the vehicle true to the pictures. Finally how do I do this from out of town? W ell, we took the step because Surinder and Joel answered all my questions and concerns. They helped to assure me that the vehicle was as promised, no tricks. I flew to Bakersfield to test drive and pick up the vehicle. It was better than promised and all the people at Sangera were courteous and helpful. The car I purchased was ready when I arrived. It was detailed with a full tank of gas. Surinder set up the navigation system to get me home while PJ and I did the paperwork. This people at this dealership are well organized, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Let me preface this review by explaining that I despise dealing with car dealerships and buying cars. I enjoy doing the research, but I hate the haggling, the fact that you never quite feel many dealerships are being completely honest with you, etc. Because of this, I bought my last vehicle at CarMax where the sticker price in the window and the first offer they make for your trade is their final offer. No haggling, no games. I'm pleased to say that my experience here at Sangera Automotive and with salesman Campbell was better than I'd expected. I'd done my research and knew what I wanted, but to be honest, I wasn't in a hurry to buy. Driving through their town, I stopped by this dealership on a Friday afternoon after work just to check out the vehicle I'd been considering, as I hadn't yet seen one in person, only on the internet. I was looking at the car I was interested in along with another couple when Campbell approached me, asked if I'd heard about this model and I told him I had. He asked if I wanted to take it for a test drive, I said "sure". When we got in, I told him I wanted a price with and without a trade, as CarMax will buy your trade in even if you're not purchasing a vehicle from them, and they tend to make strong offers. Campbell asked for the keys to my vehicle so their staff could check it out while we test drove the new one, and said he'd do his best on price. We took it for a spin, and as we were out and talking, Campbell seemed like a good guy and didn't give off the vibe of the stereotypical car salesman who'll do or say anything to butter you up and pad your ego just to sell you a car. When we returned, he offered to run and get the keys to let me hear the sound system in the exact model I was interested in, as it had a different system vs. the in the one I test drove. I also wanted to check out the seats and a few other things in this other style. He got the keys, I had a look at the car and he asked if I'd be interested in seeing what kind of a deal we could come up with. He showed me the colors of the different paints and interiors that were available and asked which I was interested in. Luckily he said they had one in their back lot that matched what I wanted. Great! He got me a water, asked me to have a seat and went to the corner office to talk with "his manager". Ugh, here comes the negotiation process I usually hate. He returned with an offer, but it didn't show me a bottom line figure of the overall cost of the new vehicle minus my trade in or give much of a breakdown of fees, rebates, etc., it primarily showed the monthly payments I'd make to purchase or lease for various periods of time with all costs included. Since I'd done a bit of research, I knew about what I should pay and, quite frankly, what I could afford right now. I used my phone's calculator and did some quick math based on the prices in his offer. It was way off. The asking price was a few thousand $$ above MSRP, and their offer for my trade was low. The APR was also more than twice as high as I'd seen other dealerships offer. He asked where I needed to be, and I was as honest with him as he'd seemed to be with me. Right! Off he goes to see "the manager" again. While he was away I got my phone out and did a bit more research on the internet He came back, they were within a few hundred $$ of where I told them I wanted to be, they brought the APR down and gave me a price that I was happy with. My next stop was to see PJ (like Pajamas) who drew up the contract, the trade in and all the other paperwork to sign. I discussed a few things with her about the APR and such, and again, she seemed straightforward in the answers she gave me. Am I happy? Yes! Campbell was great to deal with and seemed genuine. I got about what my old car should fetch from a dealership trade in according to Kelley Blue Book, and I checked one well-known website which gives a "smart target price" that lists about what you should pay for

We found this place off of Cars.com. After reading all the praise we decided to give them a try. I have a Volvo S60 and knew my problem was going to cost a fortune. I called Sam and told her how my front wheel felt like it was going to fall off. She told me to come on by and he would hop in for a ride and give an opinion at no charge! After the test drive she told me it sounded like my strut mount. I don't know cars that well so I hope I am correct. I made an appointment for a few days later. Her price was so good I went ahead and had her do a tune up. My car drives like a new car now! My bf asked her a few questions about his car and plans to return. One thing that impressed me was when getting a ballpark figure on my bf's car the computer said two hours labor. Sam told us it was usually just an hour. I feel most mechanics would just bill you the two hours regardless. Our opinion is that this is an honest place that cares to help people. Sam is also very easy to work with.

I've never been to the dealership nor did I buy a car from them. This review was for the excellent customer service I received from Surinder. I sent one of those stock emails from a car buying site in regards to a used Ford they had in their inventory. Then I noticed the 14 mpg city which was far below what I was aiming for. Jeremy quickly emailed me in regards to the car and I presented my objection. Within minutes he sent me an email with similar cars in their inventory with better gas mileage. I hadn't received this kind of treatment from many sales associates at other dealerships. Generally they just ignore me once I present an issue I have or try to convince me my concern isn't a big deal. Clearly, he listens very well. A day later he sent me another email asking me if I had an opportunity to look at those cars and if I was interested in any of them. I let him know that I had but had stumbled across a great deal on a privately owned vehicle and decided to go with that one. Even though we hadn't done business, he congratulated me on my new car purchase, said he thought I got a good deal, and thanked me for the opportunity. How awesome is that customer service? Throughout my recent car buying experience I've discovered that most salespeople are either incredibly pushy or extremely aloof. Not many seem to truly listen to you. Surinder was a total exception. Just based on a few emails I would recommend this dealership confidently.

I worked with campbell. im not a fan of car salesmen but campbell was the exception. He was patient, knowledgeable regarding mercedes. He suggested that I check out many models before choosing one that was perfect for me. I'm tall and the leg and headroom was very important to me. He gave me a good reduction of the price and a fair trade in for my vehicle. After purchase, he thoroughly took me through the gadgets on the car , which was intimidating as my prior car didn't have all the bells and whistles. I have another appointment with him and their delivery specialist on Monday to learn more about the car. its too much to comprehend and I can't remember the details. A refresher course is more efficient for me..working with campbell was so pleasant and fun. I don't say this loosely because I've looked for months at different vehicles,and at many dealerships before making my decisions.

Last year, I bought a used, off-lease MB at here in Bakersfield. We've been pretty satisfied with it so far. I really liked their sales staff. They did not seem too pushy and were able to get us a car we really liked. When we asked to have an independent mechanic to check it out, they had no problem with that. Their service department seems to be pretty good here. I took it in for service today and they took care of it pretty quickly. The Sangera dealers sell a few different makes: Subaru, Volvo and Mercedes. I really can't get too excited about a car dealership, so it ranks a solid four stars.

I have to tell you, I was able to bring my car in right away, my issue was resolved quickly, and I got my car back on time and in great shape. When I am in the market for a new car, I will certainly consider this place. My service advisor was right on top of everything and I am happy with my service experience.

We took our C Class in for a tune up before the warranty expired. The service department went above and beyond, and really did a fantastic job on our car. Dawn in the service department was incredibly helpful and professional, and kept us updated on the status of our car. Recently found myself in the regrettable position of cross shopping and negotiating for a new car that was fairly popular and the inventory for the particular model was limited. Talked to several dealers in California and ended up putting a deposit on a car that had been allocated somewhere in the bay area, but I backed out because another dealer came up with a car that had all the options l wanted. I'm writing this review because the sales experience I had at Bakersfield Mercedes was easily the most pleasant I've had in all my years of new car shopping. My sales associate (Campbell) was friendly, easygoing, and more knowledgeable about the product than any car salesman I've ever dealt with. I had done my usual (compulsive) share of research, but Campbell knew things about the model that the internet didn't even know yet! I regret that I wasn't able to buy my car from Bakersfield Mercedes but my experience there was exceptional and really reflected well on the Mercedes-Benz brand in general. I look forward to doing business with them in the future!

I came here to test drive some Benz's and see if there was something I liked, not intending to lease until September, due to me not thinking a good deal could be struck. After getting here I was hooked up with John, a pleasant fellow who seemed happy to show me all the fun and let me test drive whatever I wanted. I don't exactly look like the well-to-do type (I typically dress in very casual clothes) and so I was very pleased to feel respected as a potential customer, despite that. John had a no pressure approach and I never felt intimidated. I let him know up front that there was no guarantee I'd buy today, but that didn't make a difference to him. He showed me around some of the new stock and he pointed me towards a C-Class configured in pretty much exactly the way I wanted. I test drove this and a E-Class and ended up falling in love with the C-Class. A few hours of paperwork and negotiating later, I drove home in my brand new leased vehicle. The experience could not have been better and it was certainly a wonderful way to spend a Wednesday morning.

I found a car on the net and expressed interest through their on-line form. I received a call promptly. That is a good start to customer service. I went to look at the vehicle that I was interested in. As suspected, the truck was swarming with potential buyers. After fighting off the bees, I took a test drive with Internet Manager. The vehicle was overly cleaned and looked sharp.The dealership has a good vibe about it and they gave me clear answers to my questions. They didn't mess around with in-house financing and referred me to a local credit union. This impressed me. They also gave me a fair price for my trade-in. Another sign of respectful salesmanship. After a quick stop at the credit union, I was able to pickup the vehicle the next day. They cleaned it again (although it had rained). Evan also gave me all the vehicle history without me asking. Overall, they had a wonderful selection of Mercedes' and Subarus and used cars. The customer service was better than many previous experiences and the prices were fair on the trade-in for sale and given om mine.

I called the salesperson on a used car on the website and offered $1,000 under dealer retail. The salesperson checked and came back $300 under my offer. They set up financing at a rate below the best I could find on the web. The sales staff went out of the way to pick up my wife at our house for a test drive. Everything I saw in stock was cleaned up and like new. This was as good as it gets with a used car buying experience. Salespeople were Campbell and Joel.

I've leased my last two cars from Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield, and have had all of my service done here for the past four years. Every salesperson, service tech, and finance rep I've ever worked with has been outstanding. The level of customer service here far exceeds any other dealership I've ever dealt with. It's clear that the customer experience is always the top priority. After any purchase or service appointment, they always send me at least one survey asking for details about my experience. Then they actually respond to my feedback, and clearly detail how they will address any concerns. It's more than lip service. Every interaction has been a positive one, and that kind of testament is all too rare with car dealerships. Second car I have purchased from Sangera Bakersfield. I will do it again and again, no doubt. Campbell and Joel were fantastic. I had an idea what i was looking for, but got so tired of running around to different places. I wasn't finding decent cars, and even the "no pressure" dealers felt a little shady. Going to Sangera, I listed the specs of what I was looking for in a vehicle, and Campbell and Joel immediately narrowed it to 4 or 5 that fit the bill. Test drove them all, and quickly picked my new car. Truly no pressure, just good insight and information. The only drawback: the cars are all high quality and priced right, so you need to act fast! If you see the car you want, you probably have to pull the trigger quick. I would absolutely recommend Sangera Bakersfield to anyone looking for a high quality used vehicle.

Great Service center here. I've never had to wait for a long time on any of my visits. The showroom/ waiting area is filled with goodies like drinks and snacks. They even had some TV's up for me to kick back and relax while they took care of my ride. Dawn was a great tech and she explained everything thoroughly without pushing for extras. You even get a free car wash with every visit. It's nice to have a trusted place to bring your car especially since I'm pretty new to the area.

The service is immaculate. I stumbled upon this dealership literally looking for my car Mercedes-Benz C250 and Google put this on top of my search. I called spoke to the manager I believe about the vehicle they listed. I made an appointment to come take a look at it and from the second I stepped foot into the dealership I was treated with respect and the process could not have been made any easier. Campbell, was the man who helped me with the car and two days later, I was driving away in my very first Mercedes. He was very professional and didn't push me in one direction or another. He laid out the numbers very clearly and gave them to me to analyze. I put all my paper work together and voala! I had to take my car in about a week later for some brake issues. They gave me a loaner car for about a week until they figured out my issue. Again, excellent service. They even washed my car and returned it to me spotless! Great staff they have there.

I had a great experience with the Bakersfield Mercedes dealership. My sales person, Campbell, made the whole buying process so much easier than I thought it would be. I had to special order my vehicle and the wait was dreadful, but Campbell kept up with me and let me know the progress of the car. After the car arrived he thoroughly took the time to tell me all about the car and the special features that I probably never would have known about. And what makes him so awesome is that he found some scratches that happened during the service that I probably would have completely missed! I'm so glad he did because I would've been pretty mad if I had to pay for something I didn't even do. But to sum things up, I really had an great buying experience and I definitely recommend you hitting up Campbell if you want a smooth and awesome buying experience!Great service at reasonable price. I think they actually care about their customers. Have taken my car there twice with no regrets. Actually left feeling good. A rare find.

Five stars means "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" and that's really true. Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield is stellar, professional, friendly, and courteous all the way, from the sales people to the accounting people to the people who help existing customers. We just bought here and absolutely love it. On the day we took delivery, while the salesman was showing my husband all the car's features, I decided to wait inside because it was hot. One of the service guys sat and talked to me briefly...just chit chat about Mercedes', but he was really nice, as was everyone we encountered at this establishment. There was no hard-sell, no pushiness of any kind. The whole experience was enjoyable and easy-peasy. If you are in the market for a new car, give them a try. You will be glad you did!

We were looking at some other joints and the whole automall was like a ghost town. Not here though.. There are people everywhere. They must be doing something right. We have purchased two new cars from them, as well as having a third serviced by them for years prior. All of our dealings have been friendly, competent, and helpful. As a dealership, their repair prices are sometimes higher than an independent shop, but it's done right, and it's done honestly. It's conveniently located if you work downtown, and they're happy to shuttle you to and from. I have personally seen their service staff bend over backwards to accommodate a family that was stuck "on the road" and believe that they go to great lengths to deliver old-fashioned care and help.

Another fantastic experience at the Sangera Mercedes-benz service department! Took my car for its 75k service and received the great service I have come to expect--from start to finish: 1. It was very easy to make an appointment on line. 2. I got my same fantastic service specialist, Bryan. 3. The shuttle driver took me to work and picked me up right on time. 4. The repairs were done well and for exactly the quoted price. They are the best. I would keep buying Mercedes just to use this service department.

I could not have asked for a better experience! As I know very little about the workings of my car (...surprise? :)) I was pleased to be given a lamen's rundown of the problems my car was dealing with and options for repair. Service was done is a super timely and accommodating fashion not to mention that I was pleasantly surprised with a freshly washed exterior! This is my go to shop. Sangera Mercedes-Benz, and the staff members I dealt with, have been nothing but courteous, low-pressure (actually no-pressure) in their approach, and astonishingly easy to deal with. Ever had a dealership actually accept your offer? These guys did, and it is because they LISTEN to their clients. I made a fair market offer for a vehicle and they agreed with my assessment, so the deal was done in minutes. I like that they can arrange financing for buyers, and that I don't have to waste time waiting for buyers who miss appointments or never show up at all. They have a full spectrum of vehicles in every price range so you can find exactly the car you want. Maybe not today, or next week, but keep watching their website like I did and sooner or later you will be tempted by some high-octane Siren that screams your name. A heart felt thank you to the folks at Sangera for making this the easiest, fastest and simplest car deal I've ever been a part of.

As you would expect this dealer is all about the service. I've never had such good service from a car dealer as I have with Mercedes-Benz. I've owned a few new cars... but this has been my best experience of them all. You can tell by the number of cars that are 5 + years old and still coming to the dealer for upkeep. I see only satisfied faces, and am really happy that this is my dealership.

The folks in the service department are always so great to me. Brian Brown is my service guy. He takes great care of me and my car. If I have too wait any length of time he hooks me up with a loaner or arranges a ride for me. I work in Taft so getting my oil changed is a huge pain in the tuckass for me logistically but they make the experience a pleasurable one.

After dealing with car guys on test drives who were overly fake and asking a lot of questions to get into my head, walking onto the Mercedes lot was so refreshing. I was lucky to run into Max who was very nice, positive, friendly and not overbearing by any means. He let me test drive well past closing time and patiently waited while negotiations were happening. I drove away in a wonderful car and the excellent service has continued beyond the sale. If you want a solid car, great service go see these guys, especially Max

This was my first leasing experience and it was exceeded all of my expectations. I am very critical of car dealers and usually just buy from private owners. Sangera Mercedes was really great and they earned a new customer. Thanks to sales consultant, Campbell, for walking me through the process and getting me into the right car then following up later to make sure I was satisfied and answer questions. Great guy... and got the pricing where it needed to be for my budget. The icing on the cake is the free car wash service that comes in very handy every couple of weeks. Dawn, in the service department, greets with a smile and the car always looks great when they are finished cleaning it up. Thanks guys!

I had the misfortune of totaling my beloved car this past month. The tow truck took my car to Neiras collision center after my wreck. The owner was driving this beautiful black Mercedes and I just knew I had to get one too Everyone was telling me to go to Car Max so that was my game plan. After searching through Car Max's database I narrowed my choices down to 2 different vehicles but they wernt close and I would have to wait. The salesman was very helpful but being the prepared buyer that I am I wanted to price shop too. During my journey I came across some incredibly pushy and downright terrible salesmen. I had experiences where I could just feel the dishonesty in the room. It became discouraging and drove me to the point where I was thinking about just buying one of the Car Max vehicles straight out -- but those guys didnt know didly squat about their cars. My BF recommended we check Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield before I made any rash decisions. I contacted through through the Internet and salesman Surinder replied to my inquiry within the hour. Yes - within the hour. The deals he was showing me via email were brand new cars for almost the same price as I would have bought a used one from Car Max. I couldn't believe it and had to go in for a closer examination. Turns out he went even lower than the Internet quotes he originally gave me and we cut a sweet deal. He was extremely helpful and not pushy in the slightest. You can tell by his demeanor that he knows what he is talking about and he is an honest man. I ended up purchasing my vehicle from him and I couldn't be happier. Surinder and John (or Jim) walked me through every last detail and made me feel very comfortable with the entire process. I got everything I wanted (plus a few bonus features I wasn't expecting) and all for the price I began my search needing. I worked with Craig to get my financing taken care of. He was great too! Once again not pushy and told me straight up which extra insurance packages were worth it and which were a waste of my money. Surinder and Craig stayed with us really late into the pm getting all the details together. Not once did they make us feel like they were rushing us out the door even though it was very late. This is the way car buying should be! I am very happy with the service I received at ercedes-Benz of Bakersfield, and would highly recommend them & salesman Surinder to anyone searching for a new vehicle.

My husband and I needed cars so we decided to go to the place with the best reputation in Bakersfield - which was Mercedes of Bakersfield. Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by Leo. Leo was very patient as we inquired about various cars never pushing us to buy on the spot. We left and returned a few weeks later with the intention to buy this time. Leo helped us through the loan and application process every step of the way. Mercedes helped us secure a loan at a very good rate with very reasonable car prices. Unfortunately, the quoted Sangera discount that was available on our first trip was not available anymore- its also important to note that Leo did warn us about rebate differences if we were to come back another week. Overall the application process went very smoothly and the customer service was superb. Highly recommend this place if you want to be treated like a valuable customer.

This review is for the service department at Sangera. I took my car there recently for a horrible knocking noise it'd had for about a year. I had taken it to a different mechanic previously and he'd told me there was nothing wrong w/ it and didn't fix it. Um, wrong answer- I know that my car isn't supposed to be making this awful noise. I dropped my car off here on a Wednesday evening and by Thursday at 10am they had already diagnosed my car, called me to get the "ok" to fix it, and got it finished. I was completely happy with the level of service I received there and that they actually DID fix the problem. I will def bring my car back here for any future problems it has.

So I totally love Sangera! More to the point I love Bill and Bryan in the service department. I've been going here to get my C-Class serviced for the entire 2 years I had the car. They have outstanding customer service! Sadly my little beast had an electrical issue (I blame gremlins) that was so intermittent we couldn't get it resolved. They offered me very straight forward advice, including when I should cut my losses and look into a new car. I recently purchased a new C-Class (notice a trend..?) that will be following its predecessor's footsteps and get all it's service and love from the guys at Sangera!

I had some standard maintenance work done here. I was living in Valencia, but was not thrilled with the dealership there, so I decided to drive down to Bakersfield and see how the dealership was. Glad I did. It was worth the hour and half round trip drive. For a dealership, they were actually quite decent. I found their prices to be reasonable, and their customer service was really pretty darned good, in comparison to other Mercedes-Benz and BMW dealerships I've been to. If I were living just a little closer to them, this would be my dealership of choice by far.

Bought a certified used Mercedes yesterday and picked it up today. Overall very satisfied. Salesman Surinder was very attentive and followed through on every thing promptly. I didn't feel any pressure on the sale at all and he really went the extra mile. I also want to say the finance department was great. Last time I came here 7 years ago and bought my last car, I felt like I wasn't getting any straight answers from the finance department. This time, they were great. Very patient, very clear, answered all my questions honestly, no pressure, in fact gave me a better deal than I expected!

I have purchased several vehicles from Bakersfield Mercedes. They are all down to Earth people and are always friendly when I stop in...not pushy but professional. Service provides loaner cars for free!!! So Saturday service doesn't matter to me, I keep going back because they took care of me with my first purchase, very fair with pricing and honest. If Mercedes is the vehicle you want..this is the place to go PERIOD...you will be satisfied, they have been around for over 40 years.

Look, here's the thing: car dealers are a total beating to deal with. If you've got to deal with one, it means you need to buy a new car or you need work done and let's face it, both of those situations are stressful and annoying. This is why it's always nice to find a dealer that makes both of those experiences somewhat less painful. I bought a new car from here in November and it was virtually painless. I worked many of the deals out with an employee via email before I even set foot in the dealership. That means I only had to go on a quick test drive before I got down to business on the 2-3 hours worth of paperwork required for a care purchase. I got a good deal and was never talked down to or misled. Fast forward a few months. Last weekend it was time for my first oil change on a Saturday afternoon and was out of there an hour later. They changed my oil, rotated my tires, and checked my brakes. I've never been one to take my car to a dealer for work, and my husband has always done my oil changes for me. But if it's always going to be this easy, I may start taking my car there pretty regularly.

Just a great experience!!! Campbell-Joel-Jim-PJ (like the pajamas!) Started with great email communication with Campbell that moved on to a friendly/informative presentation of the car and smooth paperwork process with PJ, and Joel helping everyone! Having contacted Mercedes, Audi, Lexus and BMW Dealerships to replace our car that was stolen, they came out on top with not only price, but the best Vibe in the store by FAR! (Before stopping by, we spent about 30min next door wasting our time at another dealership, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!) I also contacted Mercedes stores as far as San Jose and San Diego. It was such a huge pleasure to buy a car from the Mercedes Dealer that was literally 30 minutes from my hood. Thank you so much for making it easy and an exciting experience! I was recently on the hunt for a Subaru and decided to check out Sangera. I can tell you right now, this was the smartest choice I made. Once I got there, I was helped by a salesman named Max. I've had some up and down experiences trying to buy a car before, but I'm happy to say Max made this situation MUCH more satisfying. I was used to salesmen staring at me with that 'Come on. Buy it. You know you want to. DO IT' look (we've all felt that before), but at no point did I feel pressured or uneasy. Soon enough, Max showed me a Subaru and it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. But for me, I will not make a purchase as big as a car unless I feel like I'm getting a fair price and a good deal. It didn't take long for us to agree on a price that was mutually satisfying. Finished out the financing and I was a proud new Subaru owner. There's a reason you see Sangera license plate frames all over the city. They know what they're doing, they make you comfortable, they answer all your questions, and they treat you fairly. Not sure what else you can ask for when making what normally is a very stressful decision. I will for sure be referring family and friends right back here to Max and the rest of the people at Sangera Subaru.

As an avid car trader-in-er at Sangera, you can trust me when I say this is the place to go if you need a new (or gently used) car. I bought my first two cars through one guy who is no longer there, but I just call anyone there up when I feel like a new car and he calls me when something awesome is on the lot that qualifies for a great financing deal. For my fourth, and hopefully final car (for a few years at least), I bought my 2013 C250 and could not be more pleased. The service department does a great job of getting me in and out without a long wait (seriously, less than 30 minutes when I went in back in Dec). Tell them Bethany sent you. You can even pretend we're friends...perhaps you'll get a better deal :)

It's quite obvious this dealership invests in its people. Everyone I have spoken with is very polite and knowledgeable. I have also spoken directly to the owner and he is as genuine of a person as you'll find. He's sincere and is involved in the day-to-day. I wish all dealerships that I've done business with in the past were as courteous and friendly as Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield. If you find a bad review anywhere I would be surprised. Service prices average, service excellent.

When it comes to MB service, this is where I go. I've been here 3 times for services and they do a perfect service job. They want MBs to last and they want to treat you and your car with the $$ it's worth. Price-wise; you might find cheaper service with other mechanics, around the city, but according to "How to Buy a Used Car" manuals I read, The dealers are the safest and best bet to handle your car with the proper care. I see this reflection with MB Bakersfield and I come in for engine problems. Other simple things like tires, A/C, Radio, brakes, etc... I might research other places for better/cheaper service. Sometimes the time they say it would take to fix 'x', is not true. Then again, when doesn't this happen. But just a heads up on that. QUICK TIP: Bring a laptop! They have free WIFI, ...or a book, or a magazine... They got a TV too.

Oh the dreaded process of buying a car. Weather it's used or new, everyone knows that it's a battle of the minds the second you walk onto that lot. It takes no more than 10 seconds to hop out of your car, have someone from inside the dealership see you, and greet you with that big car salesman handshake. But... that was my experience at VW, Toyota, Audi and Honda. Not at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield! After test driving a number of great cars all day, my sister and I begin our drive home. She spots the Mercedes dealership and insists I pop in just to check out the new 2013 Mercedes C-Class. It's dark and raining and not an ideal time to take a test drive. We hop out of my little beater and start to check out the row of Cs. We see the salesmen inside and they don't rush out and get in our faces like other salesmen that day (namely the guy from Audi!!). After a few minutes a nice man comes out and introduces himself as Lalo. I mention to him that I'd like to know more about the car, tell him we just came from test driving other cars and that I'm really interested in taking a test drive the following day. He applies no pressure at all and says, "Sounds great. Do your research, go online, check out the other cars that are in the same class as this car and let Mercedes-Benz speak for itself. I hope to see you back!" I hadn't really researched the Mercedes-Benz at all because I thought they were out of my league and was really relieved she'd encouraged me to stop in. (It was actually cheaper than ALL the other cars I was looking at... even the freaking Kia) We go home and spend the next few hours looking online and comparing cars. We find out that this particular car has one of the best re-sale values, more horsepower and in general, the base model has more bells and whistles than the other cars in it's class as well. I'm pretty much sold. The price was even right! In fact - the stickers on the car actually list the MSRP! No up-sells, no extra charges, just the price of the car as listed online. Very, very cool. The next day I zip back, take the car for a spin and fall head over heels for it. Another guy was able to help me that day with questions and concerns. He admits to me that the BMW is a great car and if I test drive it, I might find the ride very comparable to that of the Mercedes-Benz. I leave and test drive the 3 series next door at BMW but find that again, the Mercedes-Benz comes with more bells and whistles than even some of the most souped up 3s. So while I like the car, I'm not sold yet. In addition to the Mercedes-Benz being great, the Lalo and other guy being great, they were offering the Mercedes with 1.9% interest! So I was sold. I planned to think just one more night about the decision and the very next day I went back to buy the car. The paperwork process is easy, Lalo was generous in offering some extra accessories on the car that I really wanted while the other guy was taking care of the trade-in. They tag-teamed and it not only helped the process go along faster, but it made it fun. The dealership really operated like a family and there wasn't this sense that everyone was chasing after commission or dollar signs. I get a tour of the repair shop, they introduce me to the service people, show me the ropes, explain the warranty (which again was WAY better than expected) and then we're done. My car got gassed up and washed and I very, VERY happily dove my new Mercedes home. This experience was so pleasant that in honor of these guys, I named my car... BB! (Bakersfield Benz) I highly recommend this dealership and hope to do business with BB again one day.

Seriously, these guys are a top notch car dealership. I bought my most recent car from them last year, and it was a redeeming experience (the last time I got a car from a dealership, yeaaaah.... not so much. It was awful to put it lightly). I knew exactly what I wanted, and I saw they had it so I contacted them. I believe I spoke with Mike. I called them on the car and came down the very next night. They brought us in, had it all cleaned and ready, we test drove it, and boom we wanted it. He was super laid back, and great to work with in the process. Not only did I get a great deal on the new-to-me (read: lovingly used) car I bought from them, but they really made it simple working with Kern Schools (my credit union). They also bought our dinner at the taco joint down the street, since we drove from fairly far away for this sweet little ride. I would totally recommend talking to Mike if you are in the market for a vehicle.

I wish I could say that I bought a car from here, but I can't. I'm rating this from strictly a come-in-and-look experience. It gets 5 stars purely for that criteria. Not sure what their financing/credit experience is like. I work close by so I was able to drop by during the lunch hour. I dress presentably for the work that I do - in other words, I look like I could afford one. I came in. The guys gave me a friendly nod. No sales sharks trying to sell me a car right off the bat. No desperate-must-sell-or-I'll-get-fired aura in the place. I look at this place as more of a museum, which is perfect during a weekday lunch hour. I sat in the E350, S550, SLS, GL550 and a really old classic car they have on the floor. Apparently it only cost $5000 new back in 1961.. Can imageine what it is worth now.. It was awesome. I pressed all the buttons. No one bothered me. I blasted the radio. No one bothered me. I honestly felt guilty for walking out and not buying anything. They were so nice keeping their distance and giving me my personal space. Maybe that was a new sales tactic. If I buy one, it will be from here.

Just leased my 6th Mercedes, and the third from this dealership. A E350. What clinched the deal for me was the no nonsense approach of my salesman, Campbell, who put together a lease proposal that was cost effective and fully met my needs. The dealership's willingness to pick up my car from my house for service as required was another strong selling point, since their location is somewhat out of the way and would take time getting the car there and back. The gentlemen who delivered the car to me and trained me on the new features was also extremely professional. While we couldn't figure out how to get the profile usb download to work from my old car, he manually set things up for me to make the process simple. Overall an excellent experience.

Possibly the best car-buying experience I've had. We'd taken our Forester in for service and inspection on a Saturday morning but had been communicating with a salesperson throughout the week about looking at new Outbacks. I was lucky enough to get Jennifer to help me with pricing, looking at cars, reviewing options and making clear how certain decisions would impact the price. She was 1000% professional as was the entire staff whenever we interacted with. We never felt rushed at any time and no matter how busy they were, they'd always make it a point to say HI, offer you water or coffee and keep you abreast of what your salesperson was doing (if they weren't with you) or where in the process of buying your sale was. The service department was in a separate building. They as well were very professional, courteous and friendly as well. I came to Sangera Subaru from Fresno, where we'd bought 4 new/1 used cars over the last 12 years. Apparently that loyalty means nothing to them as there was zero eagerness to satisfy my car-service needs. Sangera has my repeat business for now on.

Campbell is the man. I originally called Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield along with two other MB dealers in SoCal. The guy I spoke with initially said that they didnt have the C I wanted on the lot and that he would do some checking and get back to me. Meanwhile, I talked with the other two dealers and was looking at buying a C class soon. I hadn't quite found the car that I was looking for, and the other two dealers were pretty much telling me to just choose from what was available on the lot. So, I decided to give Bakersfield another try. I talked to Campbell, and he told me that they didnt have the C i wanted on the lot but that he would check around to see what was available for a dealer trade. He called me back within an hour or so. The first two cars he found were already taken, but then late the same day he found the exact car I was looking for. Campbell called me to give me the good news that he'd secured the car. I told him I was on my way to the dealership to sign papers. I found it amazing that Campbell was willing to work so hard for me when he knew I was talking to other dealers and when I hadn't even been to his dealership yet in person. When he was searching for cars he sent me emails and text messages to keep me updated. Amazing. Also, the offered price for the car was good for a dealer trade (something not on their lot), and I didn't even feel like trying to talk them down anymore. Campbell sealed the deal, but the pleasant experience continued when we arrived at the dealership to sign papers. We were treated well, and even the financial part of the deal was pleasant--which most times, the financing department at dealerships doesn't have as much of a customer service feeling. It's all business and hard sells to get you to buy extra things you initial don't want. Well, not at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield. I'm very pleased overall, and I am excited to pick my car up next week, as I purchased it still at port. Not a problem though because Bakersfield gave me an loaner and a tank of gas for the week. I couldn't ask for more.

This place is fantastic. I always feel like they give me a fair estimate on repairs (I call around to non-dealership places to price repairs and their estimates are always comparable). I bought my first Mercedes here on Monday. I test drove it a few days prior and pointed out a few scratches and my husband pointed out that the air pressure light was on. Our sales rep, Henry, assured us it would be taken care of. The scratch was fixed to perfection and the car looked beautiful on Monday when I picked it up. The guy showing me everything on the car set up the blue tooth so my phone would sync to the car and showed me how to set up my phone book and stream iTunes. The customer service was fantastic. The day after I got the car the air pressure light was back on. I brought the car in today and I was told that there was a nail into tire and it couldn't be patched. $376 for a new tire only a few days after I drove it off the lot. I was upset and went back and spoke to Henry. Henry spoke to the manager and got me a new tire for free. All in all, I give this place 5 stars for great customer service.

Great car buying experience!! I bought a used Mercedes-Benz at Sangera and was wowed by the dealership, sales service and customer service I have received. I was hesitant about driving down to Bakersfield after going to the Mercedes dealership in Valencia where the dealership was the stereotypical one where the sales person walks over to the manager to have us haggle back and forth on the price of a car I was interested in there. The Sangera price was extremely competitive ($2,500 less for a earlier model, but with 20K less miles!) and I liked that we didn't have to spend the time haggling back and forth. The salesman didn't try to pressure me into a "new" car or driving another model that was more expensive. Upon arriving at Sangera we were greeted by many of the associates on our walk in, but not a "Can I help you/show you something?" sales line. The sales associate we worked with was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, personable and did not pressure us at all. I would definitely make the 60 minute trip down to Bakersfield to buy another car--although I'm hoping I'll hold onto this one for years!!

Mercedes-Benz was a refreshing experience compared to that other dealership. All of the employees were friendly, personable, up front, and extremely helpful throughout the car buying process. I'm a new graduate, and this was my first time buying a luxury a car. This could have been a nerve racking experience, but I never once felt uncomfortable buying from Mercedes-Benz. These guys really work hard on their quality of service. I bought an Outback in 2010 - it's a great car, but had a couple of issues. Anyways, Sangera have always backed me up and cleared up all the issues. We used to have a couple of Toyota's which we used to have serviced at the Toyota dealership. However the comparison in service between the Toyota dealership and Sangera is like night and day. The Sangera folks are great and work really hard to please. The Toyota service dropped off very badly and we stopped going there. My son has a Toyota. He found the same thing --- great Subaru dealership and lousy Toyota service. Not much else to say - comments in the other reviews cover it all.

In my twenty-some years of owning cars (mostly older models) and having them serviced, Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield / Sprinter / Sangera is the best garage I've ever visited. Two things impress me the most about Sangera. First, is they take the time to really find out what's wrong rather than simply swapping parts until the problem goes away. When the distributer went out on my Sprinter Van, the only symptom was that sometimes it wouldn't start. They kept in the shop for over a week until they could reproduce the problem so that they could try to diagnose it while it was happening. While inconvenient for me, this is really the only real way to figure out an intermittent problem. The other thing that impressed me is that they would often take steps to save me money. For example, I had a problem with air flow regulator. They told me that it would eventually need to be replaced but that they took it off, cleaned it up as much as they could and put it back on and that I might be able to get another six months or a year out of it before a new one was absolutely required. Unfortunately I moved out of the Central California area. Every time I take my Sprinter or other MB's in for service and get gouged by one of the shops out here in Colorado, I miss the good folks at Sangera. They really are a friendly bunch and the mechanics know what they're doing.

Until this week, it had been over 3 years since I stepped foot in this dealership. Let me say, this place has gotten a MAJOR face lift! Not only is the facility beautiful, the new customer lounge is AMAZING! Although you feel like you are in a freeway due to being surrounded by glass...you won't mind because it's such a nice freeway :) I purchased a vehicle here and I have to say that it was a hassle free experience. Campbell helped me with anything and everything I asked. No pressure sale. If you need help in the service department, ask for Brian...he will take good care of you and your vehicle! Pretty much since I was sixteen I've dreaded taking my car to the dealer for maintenance. But, such is life, and I took my C-Class to Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield for an oil change and to have a part replaced on a recent trip. I made an appointment online, easy peasy. I arrived a little early and was promptly helped by a friendly service rep who didn't mind by questions--I get a little paranoid about car maintenance, particularly as I'm putting in a lot of miles on isolated stretches of highway recently. I planned to take a taxi to check out theValley Plaza. The guys working insisted I take the shuttle, and a friendly employee drove me over. My car was ready in less than two hours and the shuttle came back to pick me up within about ten minutes of me calling to request pick-up. I originally thought the part that needed repair would need to be replaced. I kept the broken part in the back of my car and they were able to repair it, saving me about seventy bucks. Great service and honest practices made this an incredibly wonderful experience.

I recently leased a E350 from this dealership. I initially visited Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield by dropping in on a Sunday to take a test drive. Campbell took me out for the test drive, explained the car in detail and highlighted the main features. We stepped back in to discuss basic lease terms, but as I was just looking I was thanked for my time and went on my way. The follow-up contact I received was mostly limited to only useful correspondence, rather than spamming me, and my questions were answered quite promptly. I returned a few weeks later to refresh my memory of the car and took a second test drive with John, who was also very knowledgable on the car and helped me figure out more detailed numbers, as I misunderstood some language on the website. Due to a time crunch I had to go on my way again. Throughout the week I communicated with the GM about the details and came in the next weekend to sign my lease. The process was not entirely painless, as during the paperwork and delivery phase a communication issue caused unnecessary delay and frustration. However, they took a very active role in attempting to fix the issue and find a satisfying resolution. I am not an easy customer after previous bad car dealer experiences, and a lack of patience for the car search process in general, but I found the Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield a step above. The GM was active throughout the entire process and my sales consultants made sure to go out of his way to help me. The service alone is worth the visit.

I worked with Surinder. Im not a fan of car salesmen but Surinder was the exception. He was patient, knowledgeable regarding Mercedes-Benz's. He suggested that I check out many models before choosing one that was perfect for me. I'm tall and the leg and headroom was very important to me. He gave me a good reduction of the price and a fair trade in for my vehicle. After purchase, he thoroughly took me through the gadgets on the car , which was intimidating as my prior car didn't have all the bells and whistles. I have another appointment with their delivery guy on Monday to learn more about the car. Its too much to comprehend and I can't remember the details -- A refresher course is more efficient for me.. Working with Surinder was so pleasant and fun and I don't say this loosely because I've looked for months at different vehicles, at many dealerships before making my decisions.

Short Version: I just picked up a new C250 from Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield and I can't tell you how happy I am, not just for the car (well, mostly for the car haha), but also because my buying experience was nothing short of amazing. I dealt with Campbell Cameron, a true Mercedes-Benz enthusiast with a wonderful Scottish accent, and I could not recommend someone more qualified to sell you your next car. Long Version: Been thinking of getting a new car for the past year, and knew it would be the C250 for the past 6 months. As much as I was looking forward to getting the car, I was, in a way, not really excited about the buying experience. To be blunt: car salesmen are hit or miss. And when it's a miss, it can be really painful; especially when it's the only dealership with your car in stock. That said, I did some research and Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield came up as one of the few Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts that you can truly depend on looking after you. I contacted Campbell on a Monday, ended up speaking with him on Tuesday (his day off), and he was working on getting me the deal I wanted that evening (again, his day off). By Wednesday, he was able to offer me everything I wanted for the price I was looking for, and sure enough, I was at the delaership signing the paperwork on Thursday :) And when I came to pick it up, he took the time to go over everything I needed to know (warranty, user manual, in-car training, etc.) before driving off. He even found two missing screws the service department missed putting in for the temporary license plate when he inspected the car after it was detailed. I can't tell you how happy I was driving away knowing that I got what I wanted, for the price I wanted, and from someone that was really looking after my best interest. So if you're ever in need of an Mercedes-Benz, talk to Campbell at Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield and he will take care of you. Thanks Campbell!!

Went in to Bakersfield Mercedes-Benz a couple of weeks ago, ready to buy a pre-owned Mercedes, and had an awesome experience with my sales guy Leo. Unfortunately, my credit is not what it was, pre-recession... and so it was a little challenging working out my financing options. I went in on Friday afternoon, ready to buy, drove a 2007 C300, fell in love with it and went back to the showroom to make a deal. But we just couldn't make the numbers work out. So they promised to "take a look at other options, see what they could do, and call me back on Saturday." I figured I'd never hear back, that I was just too much hassle, and that they'd spend their busiest day, Saturday, selling brand new cars to people with sparkling credit... But to my surprise, Saturday afternoon, Leo called with a possible deal on a 2007 E350... a car that I thought was out of my league, and hadn't considered previously because it was actually more expensive than the C300 I originally drove. So I went in, drove the E350, loved it, and ended up driving out of the dealership an hour or so later. To make a long story short, these guys went out of their way to make the deal work for me, which is especially impressive in light of the fact that they could have made a lot more money that day by simply not messing with my situation and focusing on customers with better credit. These guys really care about each customer's business, and they're in it for the long game, not just selling as many cars as possible today, but thinking ahead to the future. I'll definitely refer my friends to Bakersfield Mercedes-Benz, and I'll definitely be back when it's time for my next car. Thanks, guys!!

I am new to Bakersfield, and have not had a chance to test out all of the auto dealers in the area. I had to trust your reviews on this one and I'm glad I did. My car broke down and they took me right in, called me a couple hours later with the cost of the repairs without trying to upsale me. Told me it might take some time but ended up being done by mid day. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the place, but honestly, the customer service added all the flair to the experience. The woman who took care of me was super nice and on top of everything. You really can trust these guys!

Sangera Mercedes gets it. As the only Mercedes dealership in Bakersfield, they do not have an arrogance presence about them. The staffs, from the sales consultants to the service advisors, are very pleasant to deal with. I bought 2 cars from here in the past 4 years, the transactions on each was very consistent. The sales consultants are not pushy, the sales managers are very friendly, and the paper work process doesn't feel like an upsell. The service advisors are great. I tend to think of them as a primary car physician, who knows your car's history, allergies, symptoms, in order to produce the optimal service/repair outcome. That's pretty cool, considering most of you reading this don't have a primary care physician who remembers your first name. If you're looking for an ultimate dealership, who offers great products and fabulous service, look no further. I will have to warn you, once you own a Mercedes, there's no going back. Nothing else will compare. I will always have a Mercedes in my garage, and would not buy one from anywhere else but Sangera. My husband and I went to Bakersfield to see a used Subaru Outback I'd found on the internet and met with Jennifer Peoples. She had already been quite responsive to my questions through e-mail and was totally accepting when we decided not to get it because of the color of the interior. We might have just gone home at that point without Jennifer's gentle encouragement that we consider a new car with fewer bells and whistles for the same price as the used one if there were some options that weren't important to us. She took us out to the back to show us all the ones on site and listened carefully as we defined exactly we wanted. The next day she had found it, answered all our questions quickly and easily and let us know that it could be delivered to our home on a truck without additional cost. Today after sleeping on and ready to close the deal she was friendly, efficient and helpful. Never did either of us feel pushed or manipulated in anyway. It was the most pleasant, straight forward interaction either of us had ever experienced in our decades of replacing our cars. I heartily recommend Jennifer Peoples of Sangera Automotive Group as a car sales agent.

I stumbled upon MB Bakersfield because I was looking for a certain vehicle. I found what I was looking for in an ad MB Bakersfield had on Cars.com I'm not usually one to shop around at dealerships, but the fellas over at Bakersfield are definitely worth the look.I can honestly say this was probably the best used car purchasing experience I have ever had. They had the vehicle I wanted, it was priced right (no mark ups for haggle room etc), they had done the maintenance on it, had the full CarFax, and worked with me to get the payments I wanted. There was no high pressure sales pitch at all. If you're looking for a reliable used vehicle give these guys a call, it is well worth your time.

I have owned my Mercedes-Benz E350 for about a year and a half now. When I walked into the dealership, I was trading in my modified Nissan Altima Coupe. I had put a lot of money into the car in modifications both performance and cosmetic wise and was really in no rush to trade it in. However, the E350 had caught my eye and I wanted to take a look.When I drove into the parking lot and parked the Altima, I had salesmen coming to me telling me what a beautiful car it was and asking if I was wanting to sell it. I just laughed and told them, I was browsing the E350's. They told me to come find them if I needed assistance. No vultures hovering over me? What, how, when...This is my kind of dealership.... !I perused the parking lot, found a red E350, didn't like the color. As Iwas walking into the building to ask about possible different colors in stock, I noticed a black E350 with tited windows chrome wheels and tan interior. I opened the drivers side door, sat in the car and fell in love. This was the one.I looked for a saleman to assist me. Campbell was right there with the keys asking for a copy of my license so I could test drive it. Okay, so he was paying attention, just not hovering over me while I looked at the car. NICE!!! so far, very happy experience.Needless to say the rest is history and I bought the car. The dealership was ecstatic to get the Altima and I saw they sold it a week later! lol, told you it was awesome. However, I am very satisfied with "Gretel" as I have named my E350.I have taken her back for her routine maintenance and everytime I get her back, I get her back shiny, clean, and like new again. The people at Mercedes-Benz are REAL! Surprise! A car lot with actual people - not annoyinly robotic salesmen - ready and willing to help! I rolled up on their lot, hopped out of my friend's car and pointed to the one car I had come to see. They didn't try to persuade me to buy a new car or show me the "on special" cars in the side lot. He let me settle for the inexpensive Ford Focus. And he let me work my own numbers. That's right, I basically told him what I wanted to pay and for how long, and he said OK we're done. Shook hands, and that car was mine. No hassles, no sketchiness, just good (and SMART!) people. Other than that, they have won a bunch of awards over the years ... I'm not sure what that means but it's written all over the place and they have a big trophy, so it's probably important. Out of all my experiences with BMW, Porsche, Acura, and Lexus Dealerships - I've had the best experience from Mercedes-Benz when I lived in Bakersfield. I'd been looking for used car online the last few weeks, and finally this week I came across the Mercedes-Benz Sangera site on Cars.com. I'm truly glad I found these guys.When I contacted them, I spoke with Surinder and he was truly an easy going straight shooter on the phone. I asked him a couple of questions about a car in stock and he was informative and easy to work with. Really not your typical car salesman. After the call, off I went in search of their location in Bakersfield.Once I arrived, it was like I was walking into a chilled out office environment with no hassle from anyone. I met with Surinder and 30-45 minutes later, off I drove with a super cool car.They had a great selection of used cars. Once I drive this car into the ground, I hope Mercedes Sangera is still here doing business, because I'm sure I'll be back again.If you're looking for a place where you'll be treated respectfully and given no hard sale, then check this place out.Hell, I even had my little 20 month old running around the dealership, and they didn't have a care in the world about it. I bought a new Mercedes from Sangera and it was a great experience. Our salesman, Leo, let us test drive a billion cars. And he was no pressure whatsoever. When we came back the next weekend to actually buy the car, we were totally treated with respect. The negotiation process with the sales manager took a little while, but they ultimately agreed to what we wanted. And the process of waiting for and signing the paperwork took way less time than I have ever experienced at a car dealership. There was no shifty pressure to buy "clear coat" or anything like that. And Leo spent forever showing us everything about the car. It was altogether a delightful experience.

Although, I ultimately did not make a purchase, when I do, he will definitely be the one I go too. He made the process easy; I felt as though I had someone working for me, not the dealer. I was also very pleased with his demeanor, as a mid 30's single female, Campbell was comfortable to talk with, easy to be around, and seemed like a real genuine individual. I negotiated the entire deal via email and phone, as I live in Southern California, and things went as smoothly as any bargaining session could go. At no point was I made to feel like a second-class buyer because I didn't come in person during the negotiating phase. If you have any qualms about purchasing through the Internet with Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield, don't. Surender was very attentive, and always went the extra mile to get the information I needed. As with any negotiation, there were hiccups and tough spots, but Surender stuck with it and tried his very hardest to keep the discussion going.The day I came to pick up the car and drive back home, I was well taken care of, and every little question I had was answered courteously and thoroughly. These guys seem to be everywhere in the local soccer scene. I got to talking to one of their marketing guys on the field one day and he somehow convinced me to simply try out the Mercedes. I was really committed to buying my wife a BMW but somehow he convinced to look at the Mercedes. THANK GOODNESS I DID! I am so happy with my decision to visit Mercedes, because I never thought they could compare. The BMW was so appealing because of the free maintenance thing... but actually the cost of the Mercedes was lower, even with maintenance package thrown in. AND the drive of the cars didn't even compare, the Mercedes-Benz blows the BMW away! My wife is happy, I am happy.

No unresolved questions. The part was we needed repaired was apparently a rare event, and the part needed to be ordered. We received good care, and a ride to the mall where we spent a couple hours of our own time, before returning and the car was being cleaned at that time. However we must drive 2 hour back for the final repair. That is not really the fault of the dealership, with the exception of not having the part. Overall experience was very good.

Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield has always been good to me. I recently brought my car into another shop to have it repaired. When they quoted me the price it seemed a little high for the repairs. I contacted Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield and asked what the repair would cost and they quoted me a much lower price. Needless to say, I brought my car back to Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield and had the work done.The price was not everything that sold me on the local Mercedes dealer: They have always treat me with the highest respect (Going to an outside shop was the suggestion of a friend. I was reluctant just because of the customer service I have always received at the dealer). They always offer me a car or a ride while my car is being repaired (Always a great advantage for a busy businessman as myself). When I pick up my car it is always cleaned and ready to go (car freshly washed and radio station not changed). Since I bought my Mercedes they have always taken care of me and the only reason I really ever searched elsewhere was because my warranty had ended and I was told the price was going to be outrageous compared to any other shop. This was not the case. Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield has always treated me right and from now on I will always bring my repairs to Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield. Thanks, John Hoffman

I used to work at a dealership for over 10 years, so I know what type of service I expect and the quality of the cars a place has. I can honestly say I enjoyed my experience with the Sangera group. Campbell was a cool sales rep , he was very professional and took his time with my sale. Loved his accent. I looked at a bunch of models before deciding which one I really wanted. Campbell worked out a great deal and the entire process didn take long. The only thing I have to complain about is that my gas wasn completely filled all the way to the top but I cant really complain because the price I got my car for was surprisingly great!

Craig Tomkins completed the paperwork associated with the financing and registration of the vehicle. He could not have been nicer and was especially efficient handling the seemingly endless forms. It would be great if the time required to actually buy a car could be shortened, but due to all the documents which are required that may be impossible. Every time I have purchased any vehicle, it has taken several hours just to complete all the necessary documents. Overall, it was still a great time and I love my new car.

Recently I went to another auto service center for my Mercedes. Reason being that a friend of mine stated that going to the dealer was not worth the cost. To my surprise the other service center was much higher for the services than at the Mercedes dealer and honestly the customer service did not compare. The few years of owning a Mercedes I have been very pleased. Mainly because of John Hoffman. Whenever I come in for service he treats me with respect and always has a spontaneous attitude to my needs. I have never been displeased with his service or any of the other staff in the service department. I always leave feeling like I was taken care of by people who really care about my concerns. As you might, or might not, realize, our visit to Bakersfield was out of necessity. Our 2000 E320 wagon threw its fan belt at 4:30pm on Monday, just as we were going through town. We were able to limp up to an exit within a few hundred yards and out to a parking lot. I even found some shade behind a Subway sandwich shop. Your rescue was timely and efficient and we were towed into your facility around 5:15. Even though the mechanics had left, the service representative was an angel. She explained the situation, started the paperwork, and arranged for us to go to motel, and even recommended a Mexican restaurant. She was a dear. She followed up the next morning and we were on the road at noon on Tuesday. The car performed well on the way home and hopefully will behave for several more miles!! Their customer service was below average and it was like pulling teeth getting information out of them (at least with the salesman who was working with us). Overall I bought a car because I did research and already knew what I wanted. If I had a choice I would have avoided the trips to the dealership.I knew more about the vehicles than the salesman. Well this is not the case of JESSE OCHOA, sales person at Mercedes Bakersfield, he answer all questions, knowledge about the brand, no pressure, very patience, follow up before and AFTER the sales. As a business owner I have to rate this person as one of the best sales person I know. I wasnt completely sure of what I wanted, but the patience and knowledge of the entire staff at Mercedes-Benz made my decision extremely easy. I was shopping a BMW and Audi but after getting a complete run down from Cambell on all the features and safety that Mercedes-Benz puts into their cars... I was sold. From Cambell, to their sales manager, the finance guy and even the marketing guy made me feel like I have been a customer for life. Between buying not only what I believe to be the best car for the money and getting the best customer service I have ever received from a car dealership, you can rest assured that I will be a Mercedes-Benz customer for life. It was truly a fantastic experience.

On July 10, 2012 I purchased a 2006 E Class Mercedes-Benz. The vehicle was in perfect condition. I never would have thought someone would take such great care for a vehicle. Awesome experience! I live out of town and found the car I wanted here on cars.com. Communication was fast and they answered all my questions, provided additional photos and bent over backwards to make me feel important. I recently had the opportunity to visit Mercedez Benz of Bakersfield where I was greeted by Mr. John LaMarsna. Hands down, John was absolutely 100% helpful in answering questions I had. This isn't my first Mercedez so needless to say, I've had some encounters with other sales staff (not in Bakersfield, however) who, quite frankly didn't have the knowledge about the vehicle they wanted to sell me. John, on the other hand, knows his product and best of all, he treats you with the respect you deserve.
