This is my first time at this dealership, and compared to others that I've went to/worked with, this particular one was a breath of fresh air. Galen took his time and was very helpful and friendly. He was great to work with. The finance manager, Mike, was awesome too! He was the friendliest finance manager I have ever met. I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

Thank you for the best car buying experience I have ever had. Staff was attentive, friendly, and very professional. Dre Brownridge found me a great car with everything I was looking for! The dealership atmosphere couldn't be any nicer. It felt inviting and comfortable. I will definitely go back for future purchases!

Had a great experience with multiple people in this Mazda dealership. In December 2020 I was shopping for used Mazda3. Sales person Kevin was very good! This place is like any other dealership is a place of negotiation, you must negotiate and you’ll get your fair price. Kevin started negotiation over the phone, which is why I pivoted to Mazda of Lodi from Mazda of Wayne. When I arrived I was able to talk to Kevin and his manager and get the price which was sutable for both parties. Great guys and the office itself is new and very pleasant to be. Also finance manager Fabian sold us additional warranty for wheels and windshield. I was skeptical about this purchase since sometimes such guaranties are hoax. However in a month I hit a pothole and bent the rim. While service tried to charge me saying that since the tire holds the seal, Fabian was able to figure out this situation and the wheel was completely replaced under the warranty. So, you definitely have to know you price doing business with every dealer, I’d recommend Mazda of Lodi, since I had good experience buying here

we had a great experience working with Juan to get a new car. the whole process was efficient and easy. he listened to us and got us out of there in one trip with a brand new car. trade in was easy, test drive was easy, and final paperwork was also easy. he also took the time to go through all the car's features with us. would highly recommend.

I am giving you one start because there is no option to go in -ve.I called them to inquire about Grand touring and Signature Modals test drives. The person on the phone said they have in inventory. I asked him about test drive and he said they have Sport one. So I said that is fine I can have Sport test drive and I will take a look into Grand Touring and Signature model. HE agreed and gave me the time. When I reached there he started filling out the form for purchasing options. ( which I am not sure why when I was scheduled for test drive). I gave him the information about my plans to finance the car. Then he went to someone and other guy came in.That guy was very rude ( may be he didn't like my face). HE said HE don't have any car ( Grand touring OR Signature ) available to sell for CX-9. We have to order new inventory and it will take 2-3 months. I was shocked. I can see full of his parking lot with CX-9 with those models. I said on can I have test drive then ? And he said rudely they don't have any CX-9 for test drive. ( trust me there was a car just outside the door which had their dealer name plate on it. And tires were rusty) I am pretty sure that the car was for test drive.I said your guy (Mike) told me there is all cars available and sport model is available for Test drive that is why I came here. HE said the guy is new and he doesn't know anything. He was talking so rudel that all his conversation was meant like I don't want to sell you a car GET OUT.Honestly after this I am kind of starting to HATE MAZDA. This could have been my first Mazda but I think I will stay away from Mazda now. VERY PATHETIC ....

Besides the salesman who sold me my cx5 grand touring the reviews of other service stunk . Car had vibration in steering and braking and I brought it back after putting 300 highway miles on it and they claim there is only vibration from rotors. They tried to get away with sanding them down and I said no way and with some arguing then I got brand new front rotors replaced . This is new . Shouldn't have had this issue . Then I leave and felt vibration still in steering on highway again so I had to bring it back again. They sent my car home with the sales manager and added 70 extra miles on it because nobody felt the vibration I was talking about . They asked me permission to do this . What other choice did I have ? I ended up getting 4 new tires and they cleaned my back rotors also . They did gas up my car and said they would mail me my receipt .. They forgot to mail it. I did pick it up 2 wks later when my plates came in. Besides all those issues the car wasn't detailed nicely . Windows had hand prints on them and the seats weren't conditioned . Found yellowish film on roof which I had to wax off myself . Found wax residue on car as well . Some scratches were not buffed out . With all the hassles I didn't wanna have to bring it in for these scratches . I buffed them out myself . Once again new car . Lots of issues. Will not ever go back to Lodi for service. Would have bought my car in Ramsey if they had the car I wanted in stock. This is my first Mazda vehicle so I hope the service improves so I don't deal with more inconvenient episodes. Praying this new car doesn't have any other issues.

I'm in college, and don't have that much money. I wanted to buy a used Mazda6 advertised at 2,995 with a mileage of just over 100k. When I went down not only was Charlie remarkably rude, but he informed me that the mileage was not in any way guaranteed, despite his advertising. Not only was his entire used car stock "possibly altered," but he would give no assurance that the car would even pass inspection. "It's a risk." Honestly, I have no issue with this type of business existing, but this is that garbage you'd expect from a roadside dealer in Jersey City. I really would advise against going there because of an ad. Don't make the trip unless you're related to Charlie, in which case I am so, so sorry. Feel free to drop a comment explaining why he's so hostile toward people who want to give him money, tho. Utter waste of my time.

I highly recommend this dealer. Very nice, honest and helpful.Great price on great car. Charlie Garcia took care of all details for me,saving me a lot of time. Within a few days time,he had me approved for loan, car picked out,and home with it. This is the only dealer I would recommend.

Worst repair shop, a bunch of scammers! My mother went to repair a leak in her engine, which they quoted her $1200. After calls everyday from the dealer adding to things that needed to be repair the total came to $2000. The job took a week to get done. When she picked up the car the next day she notice the leak was still happening. She takes it back and these ******* have the xxxxx to tell her it will cost her an additional $4000. When she first took it you quoted a fee which should of repair the problem not come out with the same issue she went in with! Everyone was very unprofessional no one cared to even find a resolution. Sales people pretended to be managers, the only thing they tried to do was get my mother into a lease. Not in this world will MAZDA get an additional penny! They took advantage of my mother!r

One of the worst dealership ever, they don't care about your business. Not friendly not putting an effort to earn your business. I should have checked the reviews before I went there, pathetic.

I went in after speaking to a manager via online submission. We didn't get far into negotiating. The sales Rep, while fairly kind, lacked product knowledge and behaved a bit too slick for my liking. Charlie was somewhat offensive in person. I would not recommend this dealership.

Let me just say that I don't understand how this dealership maintains business, but I'm getting ahead of myself. We came to the dealership to meet with the salesman #1 at 7:30 pm ready to make a purchase if we could agree on a fair price. We were told to wait around because they were with another customer. While in the waiting area, we were brought in an office to do more waiting. After sitting around for about 10 minutes, another salesman (salesman #2) came in the office and sat behind the desk and waited with us until salesman #1 was ready. He literally sat across from us on the other side of the desk in silence. We did this for half an hour. Just as we were about to leave, salesman #1 finally comes in. There was no greeting, and the whole process was rushed as if he had somewhere better to be. The conversation lasted no more than 5 minutes and he said that "the sticker price is what it is". He could not even be bothered to tell us what the sticker price even was. He showed absolutely no effort and no interest in making a sale. The whole experience felt like we were an inconvenience. All in all, we came in ready to purchase a car on the spot and they made us wait about 30 awkward minutes in a room with salesman #2 who didn't try to stir up any meaningful conversation about anything only to tell us that the sticker price was what it was. When we told salesman #1 that we were possibly interested in purchasing the CX-3 in blue, he said he'll check the inventory and left the room. We, in turn, decided to leave. He met us on our way out and said that "it doesn't make sense to get into or talk about pricing" because he didn't have that color on the lot. I'm sorry that we wasted our time giving this dealership a chance even after the average 1 out of 5 star rating it has on edmunds.com. Even if you look at the rating details on yelp, it currently says that it has sixty-one 5-stars, two 4-stars, two 3-stars, three 2-stars, and twenty-two 1 stars. It makes you wonder why the ratings are pretty much either a 5-star or a 1-star. You probably had a great experience if they, for some reason, felt you were worth the time and if they felt you weren't, then they didn't even bother to be cordial or, at the very least, professional.

After visiting another area Mazda dealership, I was definitely looking for a second opinion on the 2015 Mazda 3 I wanted to purchase. Coming to Mazda of Lodi was a breath of fresh air! They we're completely transparent about all costs and fully committed to making sure I got the most for my money. Issac and Marlon were open, kind and attentive throughout the entirety of the buying process - extremely grateful for that. I feel that I was very well taken care of, and I look forward to being a part of the Mazda of Lodi family for all of my needs in the future. Don't overlook this gem of a dealership!

So obviously this is a horrible car dealership and let me tell you why. I went to the dealership about 2 or 3 times on my own looking at all different cars there on different days. Then I'm ready to take the next step and talk to the manager, which by the way is new to the dealership. His name is Isaac. So, I schedule a day and time to come in with my family to see the car I'm interested in. We sit and talk to Isaac and were playing the game of negotiating with the year, the unclean Carfax, the broken grill, scratches on the inside roof of the car, scratches and dents on the exterior of the car. Turns out Isaac does NOT want to give me a discount. Only about $200-300 off which is B.S. for all the things wrong with the car. You would think he would meet me half way so they can get rid of the car and make commission, but no, he did not help me out at all. My sister decides to try talking to him one on one since the rest of my family and I were pissed off at him. They go into the other office and when they come back, their laughing. I'm looking at her like what the xxxx is going on?! Turns out, they used to work together at Steve Madden at the Garden State Plaza when they were in High School. Isaac was the Stock Room guy. Okay, so now I'm thinking hey, now I might have a chance for Isaac to lower the car more since he actually knows my sister. Guess what, I was wrong. He still did not budge. We leave all pissed off that we wasted all that time talking with someone who calls himself a manager, yet he knows NOTHING about the car or the cars on his lot (which he admitted to not knowing them) AND will not help me out to make commission for his dealership. After a month of looking for a car, I ended up seeing another deal at this dealership. This time, I brought in the big guns, my 20 year veteran mechanic. We scope out the car in the lot before talking to anyone, then we see all the damages to the car, and decide to go in and talk to Isaac again. My mechanic comes on strong but knows what he is talking about so he goes HAM on Isaac unleashing the beast. He tells him to lower the price because of the broken grill, scratches on the inside roof, wear and tear on the steering wheel, 3 big dents on the exterior of the car, and because Isaac knows me from talking to him before and even knows my sister! Once again, Isaac was stubborn and did not help me out, and help himself out by selling the car. I wanted to finance and not put money down and he said that was bad and shunned upon it. I left once again, but this time I was happy. Right before I left, I told him, it's better he didn't give me a good deal. I would NEVER give my money to someone who does NOT deserve it. So, I went straight to WAYNE MAZDA and bought a better car with salesman Omar Alkhalaf and Manager Sean Memetov who helped me the whole way through. They also asked if Mazda of Lodi even still existed since their a small 6 man team and never sell cars HAAAAA! Even your own people don't like you. Well, thanks for reading, hope you don't WASTE your time driving to this "dealership." Happy car hunting :)

I can't believe this place. I went in to look at a car and the car had a big dent on it so he showed me some other cars he had on the lot. I saw a Mazda I was interested in so I said lets take it on a test drive. We went inside to make copy of license and right away he wanted to run my credit. I told him I need to see how car runs first to see if i'm buying. So he responded "we don't allow test drives on our used cars"...I laughed and said I don't buy cars without test driving. So he went to speak to his manager and decided to let me test. Car drove Ok so I figured let me find out total price maybe I can negotiate an extra 300-500 off. So I asked him please give me break down of total price with tags, taxes, etc. Instead of giving me break down he says $9K is out the door price. So I said again can you show me break down how does car go from 6700 to 9K? They had a $698 document fee, which standard doc fee is $350 max. They had dealership fee of $599, I have no idea what that is. And the most shocking fee of all was a Gov't Fee of about $350 and this is not the tax cause the tax was listed separately. I said what is this Govt Fee? Govt doesn't charge any fees. Sales guy had no idea what it was he just said why don't you give me a price and I'll see if we can do it. I don't think anyone should do business with this type of dealership. Reputable dealerships will only charge Tags, Tax and document fee of $250-350, nothing more. Don't pay Govt fees, etching fees, Pre Delivery Service Inspection Fee or documents fee over 350.

Charlie was an excellent sales person. We drove up to NJ from another State, and are happy we did. Although we came for a certain car we ended up with a better car for the same price! We were shown many options with Patience and were treated very well. We would return if we needed another vehicle. Nice dealership recommended!

My journey starts in October 2014 when I meet James and discuss how I have been eyeballing the CX-5 with AWD and 2.5. James addresses all my concerns and we have an immediate rapport. Little do I realize on my way to Mazda it will be the last time I drive Goldie. (My gold 1999 Saturn SL2.)I am upset to learn that my Air National Guard plates are not transferrable because it is considered a vehicle upgrade. As a recently retired vet of 24 years it is like giving up two loves. My car of 16 years and my plates of over 20 years. Nicole works tirelessly with the DMV and successfully has my plates transferred to my silver CX-5. "Sylvia" never looked so good and I am always reminded of Goldie, my first new car.Things get a little sour about March someone hit-n-run Sylvia. The body work is done by a local shop dealing with Mazda and they do not return the car back in pristine condition on the inside. The outside bodywork itself is perfect. Mazda gives it a detailing before returning it to me. But upon further inspection at home I realize I am not happy with the detailing work. Knowing my oil change is not far off I wait to make the point on that day.I am still feeling the $500 deductible sting when a screw is discovered near the sidewall of my right rear tire during my first free oil change with Mazda. I know that has to be a local creep who screws the right rear tire of my neighbor three Sunday's in a row.Having passed up on the tire warranty I am now facing a hefty new tire of well over $300! The manager offers me a 10% discount for being a loyal new customer and Dave of the Service Department cuts me some breaks. I even receive another free detailing job to clean up the mess left behind from last time. Dave is with me as I inspect the new detailing and gladly gets the spray and cloth to touch up some essential spots which were missed. Like driving home a new car all over again. The body work took a few days longer than I had hoped, I did have to wait 5 days for a new tire but the old one held up. Any displeasure is always met with an earnest attitude to make it better. So how can I complain? The great staff just makes owning a great car that much more pleasant.I know Mazda appreciates my military service and appreciates me as a customer. After all, they receive my business after I walk out of most of the other major dealers in my area. If they keep giving me good old fashioned deals and good service, Mazda of Lodi will have a customer for life and my high recommendation. I really feel like I have friends at Mazda of Lodi. Keep shooting for 5 stars.

James is a unique individual. He works in a field that is full of people who smile at you with a falseness and have their minds made up on how to make a deal while bombarding the customers with pressures until they commit and purchase something they probably cannot afford. James did not do any of that. He has a passion that goes beyond the just close the deal mentality. I believe that he really did listen to us and worked with us. I would recommend him to anyone! He is sincere and I trust him (and that is not easy for me to do or say). I hope the big toes at Lodi Mazda understand what a valuable asset they have in James and they should make sure they take care of him!

This is not the first time I was shopping for a car, but the first time that I got just amazing customer service from the car dealer. I have to say I had really bad experience dealing with dealers before, but this time was such a difference. I was just amazed by the customer service and the way I was taken care of. My sells person was Rick Mostacero and he is the BEST. He listens, he doesn't push you to do something you not comfortable with, he even gave me a ride so I can get car insurance since I did not want to do it over the phone. He also recommend place, and I should have listened him from the beginning cause i got the best rate. Overall it's was the best experience ever and Rick is the right guy !!!

I got my CX-9 lease from this dealership 3 years ago, when I called them to make an appointmet to return the vehicle everything went well untill I told them I was not going to take another vehicle from them at this time. My lease is due in July 1st and I told them I will drop the vehicle on Monday June 30th since I'll be traveling rest of the week, he just went ahead to say he will not take it on Monday because he has to move some cars to the front. At some point it was like you bring it the day I want or take it to another dealership. Just want to make potential customers to be aware of the lack of care once you are on the hook with this people. I will never buy or lease a Mazda in this place or any other place because of the lack of profesionalism.

We purchase a Mazda 3 on August 2010, we requested a remote starter to be installed in the vehicle by them. In 3 years the car has been towed twice to the dealer due to electrical problems because of the remote starter the dealer installed. Now we went back to the dealer because again every time we lock the car it starts up right away, and now the dealer says that because the car is out of warranty we have to pay to get it fixed and also the remote starter it is not a mazda product, that what they use is an after market product. The car is only 16,000 miles and we requested this feature to be installed at the dealer thinking they use brand parts. This happened Saturday and they were suppose to call back next Monday, is Wednesday already and nothing. I just called and the guy that answers the phone unbelievable harsh and rude said the manager will call back today...we will see about that. I will get busy now contacting Mazda Headquarters on this dealer.

First time I ever went to a dealership and didn't feel pressured. Rick Mostacero was an awesome Sales Person / Manager. He made sure I was content with the product, found what I wanted. Made sure he kept me at the price I wanted. He didn't hound me down for a sale. I would definitely tell anyone to see him and I for sure will be back to see him for my next purchase.

I recently dealt with a bankruptcy and my lease end is coming up. I have always gone to Mazda of Lodi for all my cars but now live closer to Wayne. Huge Mistake. I went to Wayne Mazda to get a part recall done on my 2011 Mazda6 and decided to shop around. What I got was a run around, false prices, and discouraged because according to the sales guy (who traipsed the floor 20 times back and forth) due to my recent bankruptcy nothing could be done to help me. Fast forward just two weeks later I go to Mazda of Lodi. Glenn Ellis gets on the phone and works his magic and SAME DAY I walk away with a new car! A beautiful 2014 Mazda 6 with a price I can afford. No Hassle, No back and forth with the finance guys, NO BS. I recommend this dealer to ANYONE who wants great service and a dealership that works for what is in their best interest. Great job Mazda of Lodi ! No matter how far I move I'll never go to another dealership again!

I went in to lease a new Madza X3. Rick showed me the various options and gave me a price of what I could expect to pay since I wasn't putting any money down. I ended up picking the touring model version and waited for my paperwork. Rick came back and let me know that they were able to get my monthly fee down to the lower model price plus I got a cash back bonus. I been driving my car for about a week and I'm really happy with my purchase. Great service and really happy with my purchase.

I was recently thinking of buying a Mazda CX 5. From what I have seen on the web It was the Vehicle of my choice. Now I had kind of put it off mostly due to bad experiences with dealerships and Sales people. I thought for sure this was going be the same but boy was I wrong. When I arrived I was greeted by Charles Garcia who listened to what i wanted and answer all my question. To make a long story short, I walked away with the vehicle of my choice in no time. The people at Mazda were very helpful, especially Charles Garcia.

It was great!!! They are so helpful and the process was very smooth and easy. Rick(Mostacero) was FULL of helpful tips when it came to handling a MAZDA vehicle. My car was used and let me tell u the previous owner was not gentle!! But they fully serviced it and by the time I came back to get it, it was in xxxx near perfect condition. I was soo happy with the whole crew really. They took the scary out of buying my first car. Rick went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I needed to be a proud Mazda owner. They are FANTASTIC at this Location!!

I took the car to the dealership to have my cooling module fixed. My check engine light was also on and I had an issue with the car surging at 1/4 of a tank and below. I figured I'd get this looked at. They explained it was one thing and recommended several things done. Since my car is 2007 with 80k miles, I figured it wouldn't hurt. I spent $1800 only to have the problem not resolved. I had to take it back 2 more times because the light continued to come on. The last came back on again after the 3rd repair and now they are saying it is another issue. Car still surges so it most likely was the fuel pump. Now after complaining and threatening to write reviews, all they can offer was to give me back $2700 I spent on useless repairs to put towards a new car from them. Car runs fine except when it is at 1/4 tank or less of gas. I figured the dealer could fix the engine light problem, but they didn't. Even the one time they agreed to give me a loaner and it was not there when I went to I had to take it back when there was one available. They also did not check the gas and marked down it had 1/4 of tank when it was on E. Luckily, there was a gas station next to it so I could put in a few dollars.. One issue after another and $2800 later and the light remains on with the same issue. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT. STAY AWAY AND GO TO YOUR LOCAL MECHANIC!!!!! Stay away from this place. They do not care about you or your wallet. The GM who made the offer of putting the $2700 towards a new car can't even give me a quote online without me coming in. Been there on multiple occasions only for additional stress.. Not really a feasible option for me when I still owe $7600 in the current car.

I was charged $335 for a bogus diagnostic fee, which another dealership said would be waived if the car is having warranty work, which was obviously was not done because 2 other things were wrong with the car and was also told $2,000 for a cal. converter which is covered federal law. I you like getting ripped off, not having your car for over a month and being lied to this is the place for you. By the way I am battling breast cancer and this was so frustrating to deal with. Don't walk run away from this dealership!!!!!!!!!

Excellent overall experience shopping for, and purchasing, a CX 9. Rashed was a pleasure to work with. Both Rashed and Jeff did a great job working with us on pricing and made the whole experience a positive one.

The service department is a rip off. My 8 1/2 month pregnant wife took our CX-9 in for servicing in November, 2012, and although they promised us a loaner car when we made the appointment, there was none available when she got there. So they said they had a deal with the local Enterprise where my wife could get a car there for no charge. She confirmed multiple times that there would be no charge. And yet a month later we got a charge from Enterprise. So she called the dealership and was told that shouldn't have happened and they would take care of it. They called us again a couple of days later and said Enterprise would credit us 1/2 the amount of the rental and that Mazda would send a check. A month later after getting no check from Mazda, she called again and was told that they would give us a credit on the account instead. She tried multiple times to talk to the Manager since that wasn't what was originally promised but never got a call back. Now they are saying that we don't even have a credit on the account, and that unless we have something in writing from them, "good luck" So our advice to you is get everything in writing, signed by the manager or don't believe a word you hear.

I met with Charlie Garcia on Monday, June 17, 2013, and told him that I was looking to get myself a Mazda 3, and I gave him financial parameters to work with. Over the next few evenings, we talked about features and benefits, and the possible payment options. He was very friendly, and didn't pressure me, which is what made my decision rather easy.On Thursday, June 20, I walked out with a brand new Mazda 3, with the payment terms that I was looking for. Charlie and the staff took great care of me, and we were all smiling at transaction's end.I will be telling all my friends about my experience with Charlie Garcia at Mazda of Lodi.

I was very hesitate going to this dealership because of the poor rating from past customers. But after Bernie, salesman, introduce himself kindly and was very patience throughout the sales. I had a total different view from those customers. I definitely would recommend Bernie as your salesman. I can't say anything bad the others. Don't let the reviews judge your decision.

Mazda of Lodi will HANDS DOWN give you the BEST Mazda experience in the area! The staff extremely friendly & knowledgeable. They have patience & do not pressure you to buy one bit. I would suggest this dealership to anyone! Mazda of Lodi has a customer for LIFE in me! So long story short, if you want a positive buying/leasing experience, this is the place to go! Ask for Rick, he was a pleasure to deal with! Glenn the owner is also on site all the time as well which is refreshing to see!!PS: Before I went to Mazda of Lodi, I made the HUGE MISTAKE of going to WAYNE MAZDA. That place is HORRIBLE. Miserable, pushy, arrogant, nasty, egotistical salespersons that DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU one bit, all they care about is selling cars.AVOID WAYNE MAZDA AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

I'm glad that i stopped by at Lodi, N.J Mazda dealer where I met Charley Garcia an excellent person that treated me with respect and professionalism;I have to say that I never have been treated like this in any other dealer. Charley not only just helped me with my new car, for which I'm proud to have but he strait and honestly showed me all my options and explained step by step all the process and in no time I was driving my new car. Charley took care of all the paper work, I didn't have to do anything..I don't know how to thank him enough for his service.

I was highly impressed by the overall attention and friendliness of the staff from the minute I walked in. They weren't pushy or insensitive, but met each one of my needs with profesionalism and genuine concern. They went above and beyond to help me fins just what I was looking for and were patient in explaining all of my options. By far they are one of the BEST dealerships around and I have told EVERYONE I know not to go anywhere else. For sales and service and a general feeling of believability, Mazda of Lodi hands down met and exceeded my expectations. thank you for changing my mind about car dealerships!!! Choosing you guys was ABSOLUTELY the right decision for me and my family. Thank you!!!!!

My mother and I originally came on the 29th to get her car serviced and we happened to come across the used cars and wanted to take a look, as I will be a senior next year and would be needing a car in the near future. Mr. Mostacero approached us asking if we needed help. He was very friendly and knowledgeable of the cars we were looking at and was able to answer all of our questions. I liked the fact that he was very laid-back and did not try to jump down our throats with an overwhelming sales pitch. That day, we ended up leaving intrigued by the selection of used cars showed to us by Mr. Mostacero. That night, my mother and I researched several different cars we had found on the Mazda of Lodi website and narrowed down our top choices. The next day we returned to the dealership to ask Mr. Mostacero more detailed questions about our choices and he answered all of them. We decided we had found a great car in very good condition and purchased it. Mr. Mostacero helped us by saving us money on the purchase, an appreciated benefit considering the current economy. Had Mr. Mostacero not approached us on the first day, we would not have ended up with the great car we brought home today!

I recently leased my 3rd Mazda from this Dealership. Charlie Garcia called me because I was about to come to the end of my lease term. He asked me when I could come down and discuss a new deal. I told him exactly want I wanted and he gauranteed that he'd be able to make it happen if I came in after work. True to his word, he took care of everything and I was in and out in about an hour and a half. The longest part of the process was detailing my new car! Each time I've bought a car from these guys, it's been a better experience than the last and I am happy to give them my business. Thanks Charlie!

I was interested in purchasing a new 2012 CX-9 and heard from Lance through an inquiry through the internet. Lance refuses to discuss pricing over the phone and insists you come in to meet and talk. I did go in and was able to negotiate a good price with Lance. Lance is very easy to work with. After agreeing on a price and arranging financing they pretty much do not want you to leave the dealership without taking the car. I had to wait two hours for the car to be prepped and the manager came up with excuses why I shouldn't leave to get a bite to eat. I found that part annoying. When I received the car Lance went through everything with me and the buying experience did not seem bad. Its after the purchase where I am dissatisfied. First I was told I would be contacted when my plates came in. I never heard from the dealership so I e-mailed Lance and never heard back from him. I finally called and was told the plates have been in for a while. Then I received a welcome letter from Mr. David Nash, the service manager at Mazda of Lodi. The letter stated that I receive three free oil changes. This confused me as I was told by Lance, and it was on their website, that there is one year free service with any new purchase. I e-mailed Mr. Nash about this and he replied only three free oil changes. I e-mailed Lance about this and never heard back. The buying experience was alright but I am very unhappy with the after sale. Lance was nice when trying to sell me a car but is horrendous after that. The reason I rated the overall experience bad is their dishonesty about the free service and their bad follow-up. I don't know if I would recommend them as you could probably find a dealer who you can negotiate a good price with and also have honest follow-up.

I am sure the dealership will not let this be accepted if they have anything to do with it. But I was referred to "glen", as the owner by a friend of the family. He said "send them down,we'll take care of them". Well they sure did. I bought a Ford that was 12 yrs old for $2400 less than a week later it needed $1100 worth of work. the car should never have been on any self respecting dealers lot. This was after i put a computer in it and tail lights, window control panel and have yet to put headlights in it. these things you would expect maybe buying "as is". but another $1100. Come on this is just one sleazy outfit. By the way they charged me $150 to tell me it needed the BIG repairs. I'm a single mom on a tight budget. Thank you Mazda of Lodi especially you "glen"

The verdict is still out on whether or not I would recommend. I bought a 2010 pre-owned certified with 25,000 miles. I paid for an additional one year bumper-to-bumper coverage and the 5 year tire and rim coverage. I was surprised when I went to the dealership for an oil change and complained about a " noise" when driving that their response was that I needed to buy new tires. At that point, I had only owned the car for four months. Now the back brakes are squeaking when I reverse and two independent tire dealerships have told me that they sold me awful tires; that I need to replace all four because there is virtually no thread left. I just called and was promised that someone would call back. Let's see if they do...

I went to two other Mazda dealerships prior to visiting the Mazda in Lodi..I wasn't happy with their prices or customer quality..At Lodi they helped me and worked with me, Charles was very compassionate with my needs. I appreciate all they did for me and they were very helpful with all their knowledge on makes and models of their vehicles...I will deff. go back for future leases and will send others to do so too. I walked out not only with a new car but happy I found a trustworthy place to go to and talk to the sales person when I have a problem. The other employees were nice and friendly and the general manager like Charlie took the time and patience to help me.It was a great experience and I'm happy.

I have not purchased a car since 2006 and I was not looking forward to dealing with the whole process. A friend of mine was there to help, and we sat down with Lance after checking out the car that I was interested in. I found Lance to be Very helpful and informed! He was well aware of his product, and his competition's product. Lance was especially patient as I toiled over every detail and nuance of the sale. He was receptive to my feedback and genuinely concerned about not just getting me the "Right Car" ..... but the "Right Car For Me". Ultimately I am very happy with my purchase and my wife and I thank him for his patience and help while working within our budget.

Liars and crooks: Pulled check engine bulb out to hide engine problem. Failed to return the $200 "hold" deposit on the car. Read below for details:My 18 year old daughter was buying her first car and she went to look at a used car that she found online at Mazda Lodi. Her father took her and they took a test ride and liked it, so they put $200 down on it to hold it (no contract, just a refundable deposit) until I could return the next day to look at it. We went back the next day and I test drove it again and noticed that the check engine light was coming on during idle. The salesman (Charlie) assured me that it was "just bad oil" and needed a "tune up" and that he "would never sell a car off of the lot if it had serious problems.". While he was saying this, he was very friendly. A real "nice guy". I called my own mechanic to ask him about the light and he told me it was a bad sign to see the engine light come on while idling and not to risk it, but he said to ask them if they would switch the indicator "engine" lamp to see if it was merely a problem with the light or connection. The salesman took the car to the garage in the back of the dealership to get their mechanic to check it out while we waited. In the meantime, my mechanic warned me that after they returned, I should be sure to check that the indicator light came on when initially starting up the car. Normally all the indicator lights should come on on initial startup and then go off. He said they could take the bulb out to cover up an engine problem. I am thankful that he gave me that advice!About 15 minutes later the salesman pulled back up with the car and said that the problem had been fixed - "it just needed a little adjustment and everything is fine". I got back into the car which was still running and the engine light was off. Good so far. I turned off the engine (my mechanic told me to this) and when I restarted the car the check engine light did NOT come at all on which meant that they pulled out the bulb! CROOKS! When I asked Charlie about it he did not say anything and took the car back to the mechanic. At that point, I told them I did not want the car and would like the deposit back. (The deposit was to merely to hold the car, and there was NO contract, just a receipt for a deposit.) I was told that I would have to speak to the manager about it. I then spoke to Jeff, who seemed very friendly and said of course we will get it back but it will take a few days because the owner would have to sign the check. Ok, so we left and then for the next month and a half I called numerous time, asking when the check would be sent out. I spoke to many of these men (listed above), who kept assuring me that it would be sent, and that the owner hadn't signed the check yet... but they never did it. I realized that I would have to take them to court to get it back. This dealership stole my 18 year old daughter's hard-earned money $200 (She worked and saved up money for her own car) and learned a hard lesson that day. But we do feel good knowing that instead of losing $4000 on a car with a bad engine, we only lost $200 to these crooks. These guys will smile and say anything to you, all the while knowing they are screwing you - WATCH OUT!I doubt that all of these positive reviews are legit - they are probably submitting their own positive reviews to boost their ratings. Check other sites and make sure you look at the bad ones because there are quite a few with similar stories!

Had a wonderful experience from the time I walked through the door and was met by Lance. He was honest and upfront which is something you rarely get from a cars salesperson. Lance's first words to me and my son were "what can I do to help you walk out of my showroom happy today???" and then continued on from there saying he didn't want to waste my time (meaning the customer's time) so tell me what you want and I will make it happen. Needless to say Lance made it happen... This is the 2nd purchase I made at Lodi Mazda and have to admit both times were wonderful. I also have had my cars serviced there as well and have always been satisfied with the work, price quoted and time it took to perform the work. Thank you Lance and the team at Lodi Mazda. I'm a first time buyer and both Lance and Charlie were both amazing in helping me! I originally was looking at a used Mazda Tribute, but with both of their advice and after sitting down, Lance and Charlie were able to help put me in a Certified Pre-Owned Mazda3 while working within my budget, since I'm a college student. It was a great experience, since I was nervous as this is my first car, and I'm so glad that everything worked out. Thank you Lance and Charlie!-Angela

Lance was very helpful while purchasing my new car, he explained everything in detail and took the time to show me how to work all of the various aspects of the car, including assisting in setting up the bluetooth for my phone. He also was able to get me my car the very day I came in, which was ideal.

This is the second vehicle I have gotten from Mazda of Lodi. Lance and the management worked very hard to get me out of my recently purchased car into a brand new lease. Lance discussed my options with me, worked out financing that worked for my budget and made me feel comfortable about leasing for the first time. I am extremely grateful and impressed (again)with the customer service at Mazda of Lodi.

LOl. Thought they were just RUDE to ME! Went in on a Saturday morning after hurricane Sandi. Charlie said they had no plates for me to take a test drive. Weird. Staff must think driving cars for free is more important than selling cars. Went back later. Aske dto test 3 cars, was told NO by Charlie that they are too busy. I told him I would drive the 3rd card else where then. His reply?"Well then, have a good day." LOL! Spoke to Jeff-"owner" he says he is. He agreed with Charlie LMAO! What a joke! Mazda of Wayne is excellent. Dont waste your time here. Bought a car in less than 3 hours. Aholes.

If you are in the market for a new Mazda I would highly recommend contacting Lance Aiello of Lodi Mazda.I have been buying cars for over 50 years and I can say this is the first time I've felt comfortable doing so. Lance is friendly and easy to work with. There is absolutely no pressure dealing with him. he's a young guy, but, he has the experience necessary to ease the purchase of your car.

This dealership is a joke!! Don't waste your time goig there. It's poorly managed, unprofessional and it's inventory is below par. The first time I went to the dealership the manager started to blurt out pricing before I even test drove the car. Then we were asked to come back another day because two out of three salesman called out sick and he could not leave the showroom. I'm assuming they were looking for new employment. Since the showroom is close to my house I went back today and again I was unable to test drive the car due to some poor excuse. I told the salesman that I was ready to buy today. They had the trim modelthat I wanted but with all these added options that I did not need. I asked if they can trade or swap with another dealer and they said "no". That was the first time that I ever heard of a car dealership not doing what it takes to make a sale.I finally went to Wayne Mazda where they had stock to chose from, they were professional and took the extra initiative to make the deal and closed the sale.

Bought a used car from them without test driving it, except in the parking lot, what a mistake that was. (Car has 164,000 miles on it, Bernie the salesman said it could have another 100,000 miles left on it and would be a good starter car for our newly licensed son) As soon as we left, the car was jerking into gear and we soon found out we needed a new transmission. We paid $3000 for this car and had to add another $2500 to it for a trans and some other small fixes. We complained to them and of course, there was no warranty because the car had so many miles on it. I called them within a day to let them know about this problem. To make matters worse, the car has a leak, I believe around the windshield, and after a recent rainfall, the carpet was sopping wet. The car smells as though it were wet before as well, even though I didn't smell it when we looked at it at the dealers. I do understand that it was sold as is but I never thought in my wildest dreams that the transmission would be broken and that they would sell it that way. They completely destroyed my faith in people doing the right thing. This had to have been wrong from the start; the second we drove onto route 46, we knew there was a problem. They couldn't care less about this problem. They offered me my money back only if I bought a new or certified pre-owned from them and, when we returned to take a look, they wouldn't budge off the sticker price even though a car dealer normally would when you're buying from them. Since I had all ready made a mistake by going to this dealer, I didn't want to compound it by buying another car from them. I know what they're going to respond if they even bother to respond, since I've read some of the other reviews. They're going to say that they had treated us with the utmost courtesy and respect and that we bought the car as is but still, you tend to trust people that something so major won't be wrong with a car you're buying from them. SO, MY ADVICE TO EVERYONE IS TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AT ANY COST.

Unfortunatly, I am another person with a bad experience at Mazda of Lodi to share with you all. After speaking with Charlie Garcia about a used Mazda, I made an appointment to come down to see a CX-9 at noon on a Saturday. When we arrived, he was with another customer, so we waited about 10 mins. We wanted to take the car for a ride and told him that we were kind of in a hurry because we had other plans that afternoon. He told us that we should come back when we had more time. I told him that since we were there already, we should at least get the ride in. He then proceeded to tell me that there were no plates for the car and that we would have to wait. I said fine, that we'd wait a few minutes. Then I asked if they had another set of plates. I found it strange that a dealership would only have one set. Then he came up with some odd excuse about them all being out! Let me get this straight..... it is noon on a Saturday in September and you have no plates available for customers to test drive your cars? I gave him the benefit of the doubt and said that we'd like to wait a few minutes, then he asked me if I was ready to buy the car? Well, how would I know that if I hadn't even taken it for a ride. He really wanted me to come back at another time. I said that if I didn't get to take it for a ride today, then I would probably not be coming back. He suddenly turned and said well then "have a good day then". Whoa! How nasty he suddenly became when I started doubting his story! We walked out at that moment! How rude! I am assuming that I am correct in saying that if he wanted to sell me a car (which I was definitely interested in) then he should have at least had the car ready to go for a test drive when I arrived. Its not like I just walked in off the street with out giving him notice. I believe that it is all a bunch of crap that he was spewing! He just wanted to suck me in to a three hour game of back and forth haggling and when I told him I had no time to play the game, he got pissed off and basically told us to get out! Well, I guess that is the way they play the game. That is why car shopping is such an awful experience and they (salesman) have such a bad reputation as "sleazy"!!!! Well this guy certainly fit the bill!!!!

A few weeks ago Lance helped us lease our second Mazda vehicle, the CX-5, for the second time we left the dealership satisfied. He is a pleasant and straight up guy that will never pressure a customer, he always understands what the customer needs are, then will go above and beyond to deliver. I would recommend Lance to anyone who is searching for a Mazda.

Having gone here in hopes of walking away with a car that day, I was sadly disappointed. I am young, so help was barely given to me from the start. I only look young; other than that I have great credit, and I had $20,000 to put down on a car for $26,000. I was sat down and told all about financing vs leasing (which I did not ask) and how I will need a co-signer. A CO-SIGNER???? !!! You didn't even run my credit or ask any questions!!!! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, PLUS FROM FRIENDS OF MINE, YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY. ALL THEY WANT HERE IS BUSINESS FOR TODAY, NOT FOR THE LONG TERM. THEY HAVE NO COMMITMENT TO CONSUMERS. NICOLE AND CHARLIE ARE INCOMPETENT, AND EXTREMELY RUDE. -----------DO NOT GO HERE! MAZDA ON 23 IS MUCH MORE ENTICING!

I am a 2005 Mazda 6 owner and was ready to trade in for a new Mazda. I figured I'd go to Mazda of Lodi, being that it is the closest to me. On 7/25/12, I went into Mazda of Lodi thinking they were going to be a helpful dealership. I was completely wrong! The salesman Charlie Garcia was absolutely rude and quite arrogant from the start. He brings me to his office and the very first thing he says is, "What do I have to do to get your business?" I then ask to first start by figuring out all the costs and payments with me but he wouldn't even go over the cost of the vehicle with me and basically said to come back when I was ready to buy on the spot. He said, "It looks like you're still shopping for a new car. Don't come here to shop." When I called him out on his rude reply and unwillingness to be helpful he flat out replied, "Leave the dealership." Shocked and appalled at his reply, I asked to speak with another salesperson or the manager, but he insisted that there was no other salesperson available and that HE is the manager. At this point, I asked to speak to the owner of the dealership. He then picked up his desk phone and dialed some numbers. He let it "ring" for a few seconds and then said the owner was not there, obviously faking the entire call. He wouldn't even give me the dealership owner's name. I then told him that he is the rudest and most disrespectful salesperson I have ever encountered. He, of course, began to YELL for me to get out and leave. Never in all my life have I encountered such a horrible and disrespectful salesperson. I did absolutely nothing to deserve that kind of treatment. I was calm and polite the entire time EVEN while he was screaming for me to leave. I left there feeling completely belittled and disrespected. This is no way to treat any customer, especially a female customer, and even more so a loyal Mazda owner. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!On a good note, Ramsey Mazda has a very friendly and helpful staff!

I had done my research and knew I wanted a Mazda CX5. I visited other NJ and NY Mazda dealerships, but Lodi was my first stop. Lance was the only salesmen I met that stopped to speak to me like a real person - it was a million degrees out and he told me instead of wasting my time he told me to go on with my search and come back and let him know what he had to do to keep my business. After much searching I came back to Lance - he made the whole transaction a fun experience and he was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. The manager and the rest of the staff were great as well.I would definitely recommend Lance and Mazda of Lodi. Thanks, Lance!!!

I walked into the Mazda of Lodi knowing I that had to buy a car the same day. I was stressed and saddled with a per-conceived notion- the usual stigma associated with a used car salesman. Immediately upon meeting Lance Aiello it was clear that he was aware of my bad mood and the fact that I didn't want to be given a sales pitch- to state it accurately, I was very rude to him. He dealt with that very well and without being rude himself. But he didn't acquiesce from his sales technique either. To make a long review short Lance found out what I had to spend, exactly what I needed in a car and made it happen. He managed my expectations very well and put me in a great car at a price that was honestly probably very hard to get. He gave me a great value and he did this while keeping me within the terms (monthly payments) that I absolutely could not budge on. Reflecting on my experience as I write this, I feel like Lance worked his butt off to get me a great deal and a great car. It's wort mentioning that he stayed an hour past the stores closing to make sure we had everything done correctly and throughout the whole experience he made me feel that he my interest in mind with everything he was doing. If you are in the market for a Mazda go to Lodi- even if its its well out of you way. It will be worth the extra miles and you will be in good hands Lance.

So it's been a year since I purchased my vehicle. I finally remembered to write a review after a very busy year in my life. All I can say is that after 1 yr of the purchase I am still in love with my car. And when I purchased it a year ago Ricardo was wonderful and patient in trying to get us the financing we needed and even helped a lot with insurance issues since we were purchasing out of state. I am looking forward to buying another vehicle from the,, hopefully soon. Definitely a great place to buy a vehicle with NO pressure whatsoever. LOVE IT!

This is my third Mazda (second from the Lodi dealership) and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new (or used) car. Dealing with Lance Aiello was a great experience. I was not hasseled nor pressured to buy a new car but found myself driving out of the dealership with a new Mazda 3 5-door. The Lodi dealership may not be as big as the Wayne dealership but I felt like I received the customer service I would hope for. I was treated like a person and not like somone in line at the deli with a ticket and a number. Lance was polite an courteous and would be someone I would be more than happy to deal with during my next car purchase. The price was right and the deal went smoother than a couple of my other car purchases had gone (no problems with any of the two Mazda dealerships I've been to).

This dealership is amazing. They have nice and friendly employees. I felt very welcome and this dealership gives you great prices. The employees are great. They help you out a lot, and they are very patient. Other dealerships mostly care about you buying their car, but this dealership focuses on the customer having a create experience. My overall experience here was great and it was because of the amazing employees and there amazing prices that i bought a car at this dealership.

I called to schedule the service appointment and they set up the appointment but when I got there the next morning they were giving me a bad attitude. Got hostile. Said I was not allowed service and they could not tell me why? I asked for a manager and he said he was not there and I asked for his name so I could call him and he only would give me his first name and no phone number. Just a bad experience. Would never go back there for any reason. They dont know how to treat or respect people.

I am a consumer and professional who prides himself on providing the best customer experience possible. My experience this evening has been nothing short off outstanding. The service by both the salesman and the financial analyst was impressive, professional, engaging and passionate. Both parties addressed their product on the superb experiences they themselves encountered as owners of their product. The efficiency and candor was like non other in my thirty plus years of purchasing cars. I walked in to question about a car and within an hour+ I drove out of then car dealer with a new car. An experience I will never forget.

First of I'll say that I'm a cynic. I came to dealer rarer before I went to Mazda of Lodi and I purposefully ignored all the ratings that had all or mostly fives because I was convinced that the dealers came on the site themselves and wrote their own good reviews. I skipped straight to the bad reviews for all the dealerships and I came to Mazda of Lodi (from NY) because it had the least and most petty bad reviews. Also when other dealerships responded to bad reviews they were very condescending which was a red flag right there. Mazda of Lodi didn't do this.So I went to the dealership looking for a used but well maintained Mazda three. I'm 25 and I look young so I'm use to ppl not taking me seriously, but Ricardo was standing outside and he immediately introduced himself and offered to help me. I gave him a 4 for friendliness which is perfect for me because I hate when salesmen act overly friendly and happy because then I think that they are being fake and most likely just lying. He was the perfect mix of approachable, helpful, and knowledgeable. We looked at all the Mazda 3s which were oddly priced the same and we went over the pro/cons of mileage vs. trim vs. year. I also liked that when I asked to see lower priced non-Mazda cars just in case there was a great bargain sitting on the lot, he still was enthusiastic about showing me the lower priced cars and he didn't try to analyze my life and convince me to buy a certain car. I've been to several dealers and they all start asking me if I'm married, have kids, etc and then they attempt to push a brand new car on me with every option added. Now the numbers. No surprises. When I sat in his office he right away told me about all the dealer fees, estimated taxes and registration for me etc. the dealer fees were not outrageous , but who likes spending money period? The price of the car was comparably low for its mileage, trim, and condition. I got a 2010 18k mile, Mazda 3 s sport, very clean , for maybe only 300 dollars more than what other dealers were asking for a 35k Mazda 3 i sport, average condition. Even when I wasn't happy about one particular detail they first plead there case but then compromised with me. He was never once rude or pushy which I value a lot more than a few bucks. In fact, my friend that I brought to help me choose was more pushy and opinionated than he was :).I would go back.

Lance took his time to provide us with all the information needed and options to make the best choice selection for me and my wife; that lead us to purchase our new Mazda CX7 2012. He was very patient, understanding of our situation, and worked with us all the way to give us the best option within our budget. We will be coming back soon to purchase another car in a few more months for my wife. Thank you Lance and Happy Birthday!!

We arrived at the dealership just looking around to see if I could get a Mazda that fit my budget. We were approached by Lance who was very friendly to work with throughout our entire visit to Mazda Lodi. Although I really didn't have the intentions of walking out with a car that day, I knew if the price was right, I would take the offer. After a test drive, I knew I loved the car (Mazda 3), it was a perfect fit for me, and I was more than happy to know I was going to leave the dealiership with a brand new car under a lease (when I initially went there to check out the used inventory). Lance was really friendly and NOT pushy at all. He answered all of our questions and showed us a number of cars from the lot. We really were going to leave to think about the numbers for a couple of days. Lance took us for a test drive once I learned and in the end, his demeamor is really what kept us at the dealership long enough to seal the deal. His manager worked with us to get me the numbers I wanted on an even better car. I have absolutely no regrets on signing the lease the day I did. It's the perfect car, rides well, and I'm loving it all around. My only minor complaint is that I was told I'd be able to bring my car in at a certain time and leave with a loaner to get a remote starter installed, but upon arriving at the dealership at the agreed upon time, I was told I had to be there by 6 pm. It wasn't the biggest deal in the world, but I wish that information was relayed to me when I made the appointment. Again, no biggie!Overall, my experience at Mazda Lodi exceeded my expectations.

If there was a rating less that 1 I would give them this rating. The reason for this is not only they are rude and down right unprofessional, but they cheat and lie to their customers. I purchased a car from them two months ago and the sales man lied to me about manufacturer warranty, telling it was valid for another year, while it had already expired. Their own stickers said that the car was under warranty, factory and dealer, yet it turned out that it wasn't. The sales man lied to me when selling the car and falsely advertized, charging me a higher price. When I had a repair that needed to be done they not only refused to cover it, but flatly said that they cant do anything about it even if their own sales man lied and there is nothing I can do about. Advice for others in similar situation, call Mazda North America operations and complain to them about the dealership and its service.

I recently bought my second car at this same dealership. Rick M. did a fantastic job presenting my options and working out a great deal for me. Everything was very smooth and did not take very long. Rick was very straightforward the entire time and kept on point. He answered all my questions and concerns. I did not feel like I was being sold on anything, instead Rick worked with me to get the deal I wanted. If you're looking for a new Mazda this year, definitely go see Rick at Mazda of Lodi.

I have purchased/leased two CX7s, a CX9, and this week another CX9 for family and friends at Mazda of Lodi. There is a reason why they deserve repeat business- simply put Mazda of Lodi sets the standard for what a car dealership should be. Jeff Falk and Glenn Ellis completed the deal. Glenn Ellis' Mission Statement I suspect reads - Always treat the customer fairly, with respect, and sensitivity to their needs and financial circumstances. Mazda of Lodi is a small dealership and can compete easily with the large highway stores. There is no pressure to purchase. They work very hard to earn your trust and keep your business. It has a kind of folksy family feel to it. Glenn Ellis is the owner. How many dealerships have the owner/ boss sitting at a desk in the showroom? Thats where youll find Glenn. Glenn once was a teacher before getting into the car business. He understands the budgets we live on and will work out deals that dont break them. I dont like to haggle- But always go prepared to negotiate a price after researching car prices. Do the research on Edmunds.com, Truecar.com, and car Forums for what others are paying, and then give Mazda of Lodi a call. They consistently quote prices very near to what people are paying and what Truecar and the Forums are suggesting. In the past I have called Mazda dealers in Ramsey- Wayne & Rt 46. Their quotes have always been higher (ugh!). All their ads say Well beat any deal. Save the trouble- do the research and call Mazda of Lodi. Thank-you Jeff and Glenn for the excellent service and recent deal with Nieves.

I have a 98 Mazda Protege and as much as I would love to buy a newer model car, it wouldn't make much sense as I live and park my car on the streets of NYC. My Protege actually is a great car but I've had some idling problems since Sept and I've taken my car to several mechanics including a mazda service in Queens. Nobody got even close to finding the problem. Lodi Mazda they fixed it. And Junior my mechanic his work ethic is outstanding. My car feels as good as brand new. Gas mileage was always good but now its even better. I can't tell you how pleased I am. And yes I will come back.

This is the best car buying experience of my life! I went to buy my mother a Mazda3. To put it shortly I walked out with a brand new 2012 Mazda 3 in less that 1.5 hours. I didn't have to haggle the price, and they gave me a great care package on the car. So from now on I will put in the good word about Mazda of Lodi. Keep up the good work and I will see you soon to trade my Lexus RX350.Francisco Pina

Went to Test drive car on 3/14/12 at 1 PM in the afternoon. We were greeted by Charlie Garcia and told him we were not ready to buy a car we just wanted to test drive the Mazda 6. He turned us over to Rick Mostacero who advised they didn't have any Demo plates so we needed to make an appointment. Not fooled at all by this tactic, they did'nt want to waste his time with us. Who ever heard of a dealer unable to give a test drive? Too bad WE Will be buying a car in the next 30 days, We Do Own 2 Mazda products and WE WON'T go anywhere near this dealership even though we live within 5 miles of the place. Stay away

DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!! They sold me a lemon!! I bought my 2009 Mazda 6 in the fall of this past year. Along with the car I had it certified with their "150 Point" Inspection process. This "150 Point" inspection procress must have not been done because the first hot day of the year, I go to turn on my AC and it doesn't work! Under this 150 Point inspection my whole AC system was suppose to be checked or fixed if it was broken. Now I have to put in my time and money into a car that I got certified to be worry free of issues like this.

Best Car Purchase Ever!as a first time buyer,The sales person was knowledgable without being too persistant. made the entire experience very ccomfortable and hassle free. The offers he provided where excellent and made alot of sence, great warranty and aditional protection (like the 5 years of tire and rim insurance for only 10 bucks additional a month) are a no brainer. deffenetly would recommend this particular dealership and sales person to any one i know interested in taking the leap into a new vehicle.the sales person literally worked his magic and was very flexible as well as reasonable in his offers. mind you, the only reason i came into the dealership was for a check engine light that had been bugging me for weeks on my 04 mazda 3 and possibly a new clicker. now im not that easily persuaded, but i was defenetly impressed with this sales person. he even hooked up my phone via bluetooth to the voice activated system in the car. all under an hour and a half.thank you omarproud owner of a 2012 mazda 3

This was our first time at Mazda of Lodi. We already own a CX-9 and love it. We purchased it in 2008 from Wayne Mazda and have had a very good experience with them up until we went to look for this most recent car. The salesperson we had there left. He was great but went to Toyota and I won't buy a Toyota! We started off with one salesperson and when we went back up he was with another customer so handed us off to someone else who we weren't thrilled with. So my sister in law recommended our salesperson, Lance, at Lodi who they got their Mazda 6 from.Lance is very friendly and was a pleasure to deal with during the whole sales process. Look forwarding to doing business again with Mazda of Lodi! We'll be back for a Mazda 6!

Superb experience! I went to four other Mazda dealerships and none even came close to the professionalism and honesty of Mazda of Lodi. They treat you with respect and don't pressure you with sales pitches and tactics. Their staff is unbelievable. I was looking for a good, safe, certified car for me and my kids to use. I was on a strict budget. Lance was the first salesperson to approach us, he was friendly and asked us questions to determine our needs and stay within a budget. We are satisfied with our purchase and are very pleased with how he helped us work out a payment schedule. In a nutshell...I walked in to Mazda this morning (1-26-12) with the intention of getting an oil change and possibly an engine flush considering at the time I was driving a 2008 MazdaSpeed3. To make my story SHORT AND SWEET...after a few BARE FITNESS exercises, some casual conversation about life and it's many obstacles and how to stay positive through it all...and a short conversation about great kids are an taking care of your body is....I walked out 3 hours later the proud owner of a 2012 MAZDASPEED3!!! Zoom-Zoom : )p.s. I would like to thank; Jeff for making the sale possible, Lance for supporting myself/ideas/plans, Ricky for helping me to realize how special life is and how awesome it is to be a father, the Master Mechanic they call "Junior" for being happy doing his job and doing it with a smile on his face, and last but not least the Owner (not sure his name) for purchasing a building in Lodi, NJ (once known as the land of distinguished Italians...now a melting pot of great people and cultures that deserves some good press) and having faith that great things happen in this town all the time, including making purchasing a car a fun exciting hassle free experience!!!

I honestly cant understand all of the positive reviews that people wrote about their experience with Lance at Lodi. It was extremely frustrating to work with him and made the process of buying a new car a challenging experience. One of the first things I had asked to be able to do was to test drive the car because I had never owned a mazda or driven in one. For some reason, he refused to allow us to do so unless we agreed on price. I can understand where he is coming from, but as a consumer and customer, this was not how I was comfortable proceeding. I also must mention that he was unresponsive to several of the message that my fiance left for him when he called to try to work out a deal and talk more about the car. He definitely has a strong personality and seems to know more than the average Joe about his cars, but can be tough to work with.

It is my pleasure to write a review about Rick Mostacero and Mazda of Lodi, this has been a good experience, I live in Texas and I've never purchased a vehicle from so far away but Rick made me feel comfortable and confident that I was buying a good car that I could trust for years to come. There was no haggling, I told him how much I had to spend, which was considerably less than what they were asking and the sales staff actually took into consideration the fact that I would be paying almost another $1000.00 to ship the car to Killeen Texas and instantly accepted my offer. Everything Rick said he was going to do was done and done quickly! Rick Mostacero is a true professional and a man of his word, which as we all know is hard to find in the auto purchase business and I truly appreciate him and Mazda of Lodi New Jersey!!

I went into the Mazda of Lodi dealership with my sister who was just having an oil change, and walked out with a new Mazda 3. My old lease was up and decided to take a look around. As I was doing so, Lance started talking about the car and I could tell he was very knowledgable about the car I was interested in and in the others as well. Lance was very helpful by answering any questions I had and he was very friendly, which makes the experience of car shopping more enjoyable. After seeing the CX-7 and explaing to Lance what we wanted we knew right away that the CX-9 was the best fit for us.He worked hard for us to get the best price possible and to be in the price range we needed to be in. I just wish he knew more about the SUV he was selling us. We were told it had satellite radio installed which he found out later when we got home it didn't. After going back to the dealership and explaing my case they order the part and would install it for me. Also was told since I have Bluetooth installed I should be able to play audio music without using a AUX jack. This is true if you have the top of the line radio type B which does not come in the CX9 sport. After explaing this to Lance he was shocked to learn there were different models of the radio. I also confirmed it with the Mazda Bluetooth support. I suggest anyone going to look for a vehicle do your homework first and I wouldn't think about gong to Lodi because they don seem to be very knowledgeable wih the product their selling. I really hope they get their act together as I old Lance I hope no on else has to go thru what I had to experience.

My brother and I went in looking for a car and ended up buying a 2011 mazda3 and a 2011 mazda6. Rick was very friendly and showed us many cars. He managed to give us a good price on both cars. The service was friendly and quick. We are super happy to have bought both mazdas.

We came in to see and test drive the CX9 and made it clear we were still doing research on cars in this category. Our sales person Lance did not pressure us, and when we did return the following day, they worked hard to put us right at the price we wanted.

Looking for an auto for my daughter (she wanted a Mazda 3) I was unable to find one at a reasonable price in my area. After coming across Mazda of Lodi on the web I noticed a Mazda 3 and contacted the dealer by e-mail to inquire about the vehicle. Mr. Mostacero answered all my questions and more. He gave me a great price and worked with me with completing the transaction. Due to my working hours the best way for me to correspond was by way of e-mail and Mr. Mostacero diligently kept in touch with me during the entire process. I arranged for a third party inspection since I was unable to inspect the car myself and Mr. M worked with me in getting this accomplished. Also there were a few items I wanted (car mats, temp permit and a red bow) that he has agreed to place on the car. What an exceptional salesman. I would recommend if anyone cant find a good deal for an auto in their area look up this Mazda dealer and ask for Mr. Rick Mostacero. You will be glad you did!

Charlie and Lance are both great salesmen with positive attitudes. My experience with them was an happy and successful one. They were never pushy with me and did their best to accommodate my needs; they were also very humorous. I would definitely buy from them again and recommend them to other potential customers!

My salesperson Lance was great..he does not have that "salesman" persona, we all dread when dealing with salespeople. Down to earth, upfront, not misleading. Was in and out within 2 hours start to finish in my new vehicle....

We were between four different SUVs, but when we came to Mazda of Lodi - Rick was extremely helpful and courteous despite us not always seeing eye to eye on the "best deal." They did everything possible to make us happy and we walked out of there with the keys to a 2012 CX-9. The whole process took about 2-3 hours. Would highly recommend going here if you're in the market for a Mazda.

Lance is so great to deal with. We went to trade in our Mazda 3 for a bigger one and Lance worked very hard to get our price. During the wait, he was very hospitable and had us laughing. It was the most fun I ever had buying a car. We love our new car and loved the experience we had there. Mazda of Wayne wouldn't give us the time of day, Lance and Lodi is all I recommend.

Yesterday we returned our Mazda 6. We were very nervous because we weren't really sure what our next vehicle should be. Charlie Garcia was very patient with us and really showed us several new models. He really went through each of the three different models we selected and helped us decide which was best for our lifestyle at this point. He then sat with us and we discussed whether purchasing or leasing was right for us at this time. We choose leasing a new Madza A5. He also spent time showing us many features for our new car, especially the Blue Tooth, which neither my husband or myself had used before. By the time we left Mazda of Lodi, we knew we would love to work with him again. An outstanding salesman and a person who made you feel comfortable.

We were pleased with the level of service Charlie Garcia gave my father in the process of choosing his new vehicle. Charlie was professionally courteous, positive, and knowledgeable about his business and his product, and also demonstrated that he is also a genuine caring person as well as an excellent salesman.I was pleased with how my father was taken care of at Mazda Of Lodi, and I am proud to know there are still organizations that follow the right example of service and leadership. Charlie Garcia is a great man, and through his example, I can trust that my dad can be taken care of at Mazda Of LodiThank you.

I've been to several dealerships before i went to mazda and the first thing i noticed is I was more relaxed shopping cars here than any where else I've been, simply because the salesperson was not making me feel like i have to get the car now to get the best deal, rather he made me feel that there is room for negotiation

I had a great experience at the Mazda of Lodi, stress free. The salesperson, Lance, was friendly, personable, and resourceful. We negotiated an awesome price for my Mazda2. Also, he managed to secure a 0% financing deal for me. In addition, I appreciated that he was very persistent with my insurance company to make sure that they did the out of state transfer right away. After I completed my paperwork promptly, I was able to drive off the lot that day. I love my car and feel confident that I got the best deal at the Mazda of Lodi. Thank you Lance!

After going to at least 5 other dealerships, we "happened upon" mazda of lodi. we are so glad we did! we met with lance, who was able to find us the car that we wanted at a great price. he went above and beyond to bring the lease payments within our comfort zone. once we had a deal, he diligently went through all the paperwork. best of all--at the close of the deal, the numbers didnt change with lance! needless to say, the deal went smoothly and without hassle. he delivered the car immediately, nice and clean, and even set up our bluetooth! our only regret was not starting our car search at mazda of lodi.

After being to many little side dealerships and other manufactures the employees of Mazda of Lodi were very understanding and tried their best to get me out of there with a smile on my face and new car keys in hand, with the lowest possible prices and affordability. It is a very genuine and friendly environment and there is not one person that will turn their back to customers. They were able to explain things clearly and did not hide anything information about the vehicles past and present condition and answered all question about a certain car. This is my first dealer that I have bought my first car and I am very satisfied with the results. Lance was the man who helped me drive away in the car i have been looking for. Very confident and knowledgeable about the inventory and car was able to fill me in on the car. A friendly guy and definitely someone I would like to see more sale representatives to be like.

After going to a few dealerships and being bold faced lied to and cheated my wife and I started to hate the car buying experience. Just because we were young, these car dealers thought we were stupid and would "understand" any deal they brought to the table. Being that this was our second car purchase and that our credit score was 700+ we were shocked at the kinda of deals and bait and switch these dealers were trying to put on the table. Being this wasn't our first rodeo, walking out of the deals became a common occurence. To tell you the truth we werent even looking at Mazda and decided to go to the dealership because it was local. Walking around the parking lot was a breath of fresh air. No pressure salesmen, just walking around the lot was nice for a change. When we were ready, we went inside and were greeted by Charlie who we found out later was the manager. Being very upfront an honest about prices and cars, we found ourselves looking at a beautiful almost completly loaded 09 Mazda 6 with low miles. No gimmics no excuses. We had an amazing deal on the table and drove home same day with car. Charlie even drove the car to my home to help me drop off the other car!(granted we only lived 3 miles away.) Overall quite a satifying experience and definatly a place i'd go back and buy a car from for sure!!!!

At the end of May 2011 we have decided to get rid of our old Subby. The nearest dealer was Mazda of Lodi. We did not have time to do an extensive market research and this was our first new car lease. So we went to Mazda of Lodi, Rick was very helpful and there wasn't any kind of pressure. We said what our budget is and Rick tried his best. And we drove aour new Mazda 3 i sport home the same day. This dealership was outstanding from the minute I walked in. They were straight to the point and didn't go back and forth like most dealerships. Mike and the sales manager Glen Ellis were extremely helpful, and worked around my budget. I leased a 2011 Mazda 3 and couldn't be happier. This was easily my best experience at a car dealership. We really did our research before going to buy a car. We settled on the Mazda 5 for a variety of reasons. Of all the Mazda 5's in the area, Mazda Lodi had 3 that fit both our price and mileage requirements. We ended up focusing on one w/ very low mileage and a good price. So off we went. When we arrived, we went straight to the Mazda 5s and the sticker price of the car I was wanting was 2k higher than it was listed on Autotrader. I figured maybe I had an Internet special so no big deal. After inquiring further about the car, I was informed that the price listed on the Internet was a mistake and that the "Internet Guy" was new. So, the sticker price would be the price. I showed obvious disappointment and after a bit, they agreed that they would honor the Internet price, but there was going to be no room for negotiations. We had hoped to get the price down a bit, but we were operating under good faith and figured that they were being honest about the mistake. So, we test drove the car and it seemed great. We agreed to buy the car and did the paperwork and everything was pretty simple. We had a few reservations about a car w/ such low mileage (7,400) being sold, but they set our mind at ease and we felt pretty solid about the whole thing. I asked for a few minor things to be thrown in the deal: a tank of gas, mats, and a few services.. they agreed to all. I asked all the questions: any wrecks? all proper services? any thing else I should know about the car? Meanwhile, I was still waiting on the Carfax, which I had to keep reminding them about. Finally, they produced it and it seemed fine. Upon completion of the deal and after we signed all the paperwork, we were informed there weren't any more mats and we had already signed the thing that said we were given all we were promised. Not a deal breaker. Then, we went to leave and I asked about the gas, the salesman agreed and we went over. He didn't fill it up. He only put $20 in it... Not a deal breaker, but I was beginning to get a bit annoyed. But we really wanted the car, so we moved on. A couple days later I began to notice squeaking in the rear end. I decided to make an appointment for service. I took it in and they fixed it no problem. It was a bad rear right shock. The guy also rotated the tires. So far so good. I asked about the 7500k service and the tech. said the car didn't get it. This was a bit curious to me as the car had 7450 miles and I figured that before selling the car it should have been thoroughly inspected (like the window sticker said) and have the regular service done (at a minimum). Also, I was told it had all the services done. I left and the car drove great. But I figured I should call and ask about the service. This is where things got a bit hairy. I asked about it and the manager said that that wasn't required... it was optional... I pushed a bit, but he basically said if I wanted it, I had to schedule it and get it done (and obviously pay for it). I can't see why they'd sell a car that was scheduled for a service, but not do the service. And, if so, why wouldn't they just offer to do the service, admitting to the mistake... or oversight. I asked if this is what I could from the dealership? He got a bit bothered and said, "Yeah. You're right. Yep. You're right." This obviously was sarcastic. He then said maybe I should take my business elsewhere. That's it. That's where it was left. It's just really bizarre to me that they would cut such corners such as the mats, the gas, and the service and move on as if the customer, at least in this case, doesn't matter. I guess they're selling lots of cars and not really needing to take care of the little things over there. Nothing personal here, I don't even know their names, and they probably don't know mine, but I just wish I could of had a better experience. Leaves us with a bad taste in our mouth even though we do like the car.

DON'T GO THERE !!!! Waste of time. GO STRAIGHT TO RAMSEY MAZDA. This is the worst dealer i ever went to ! Sales/service manager (Jeff) is the worst person to talk to about your car. I went there because this dealer is most convenient for me. I was pretty sure that my oxygen sensor failed. I went there and advised that this may cause issue. After 3 hours I was called to the window and I was told that nothing is wrong with my car. I received $100 bill to pay which i refused and asked for test drive with somebody. The guy came and took me for a ride (he was on driver seat). OMG I was feeling that he is trying to make me an idiot... He never reached even 35 m/h and for any shaking/jerking I tried to point to him he was saying that is the way he drives(?) I asked to switch seats. Once I accelerated and pretty clearly showed him what I was talking about he agreed that something is wrong with my car. Came back to the dealer and went home. After couple of hours they called me and said that they changed oxygen sensor and car is ready for pick up (couple of hours before I told them about o2 sensor... I missed day at work because they dont provide loan car...) Four days later, when my wife was going to work car stopped and oil leaked. She called for road assistance and they towed it away to Mazda of Lodi (unfortunately) I tried to call corporate to move my car to the other dealer but advised that I would have to pay for towing. I was trying to get some information from dealer about what failed in my car but only received info that they need to replace half of the engine. Even Jeff (manager) couldn't tell me what happened. I was trying to negotiate a loan car with Jeff but this guy is really difficult to work with. He is ignorant and makes you feel like you are nothing to him. One day he just walked away while I was still talking to him leaving me in the middle of the facility. Other time he was rude on the phone and telling me that I should take my car to some other dealer and pay towing fees. After about two weeks they called me to pick up my car. I came there around 7pm when service was closed. I signed warranty papers and received keys to my car. Once I got to my car I realized that its extremely dirty! Black stains on the light interior, black scratches on the door, oil stains on body, disgusting dust all over... Once I got a chance to drive the car I realized I have the same issue as before with o2 sensor. Got home called corporate and explained everything. Lady from cust service called Jeff and explained my concerns. He stated that HE took the car for a test drive and everything worked good (am I an idiot?) I gave up, next day I took it to the Ramsey Mazda. Left my car for couple of days and asked to check work done by Mazda of Lodi. After couple of days they called me back said that Oxygen sensor failed and they fixed couple of things Mazda of Lodi did wrong. Now my car finally runs the way it should. Thank you Ramsey Mazda! BTW I have 42000 miles on it so it's still under warranty...

I leased my Mazda from them 3 years ago. I went to buy out my lease and they want to charge me $2000 more than residual value is. I thought that they charge that because I want to finance it, so I got the cash and went back two days later to buy it out. Then price went up another $1100. I said that I am not going to pay anything above the residual value of the car plus I will handle my own registration (you are allowed to do that if pay cash for the car). Guy got very upset and said this is how much he is charging me for the car. I said that the car doesn't belong to him, it's owned by leasing company. Then he got more upset and told me that only way I can get my car is to buying from him. Then he asked me to come back when I am ready to do that. I had BAD EXPERIENCE WITH MAZDA OF LODI from very beginning. First, 3 years ago, sales man asked me to give him positive reviews so he can get $50 extra. When I didn't he called me and yelled at me on the phone. Then my residential parking sticker "went missing" the same day I had my car serviced there. I didn't prove anything but this is one of these stickers you got to remove with razor blade from your window, so accidental pealing and falling off is not an option. I learned from Police that there is a black market for these stickers. Buyers be aware!!! DO NOT GO TO MAZDA OF LODI. Customer service is very unpleasant!!! I just called Mazda USA and they told me I can go to any other mazda dealer to buy that lease. Mazda of Lodi = bunch of scum bags. BTW. most positive reviews on this service look very artificial and fake. Written by mazda of Lodi employes perhaps?

I gave this dealership 5 across the board because of the amazing service. The staff, including Charlie Garcia was extremely friendly and went about and beyond to please their customers. We visited the dealer to trade in our car for a new lease and the turn around was simply amazing. We were so impressed with the professionalism with the staff at Mazda of Lodi. The price we were given for our CX9 was incomparable to the other dealers. Our overall experience was a very pleasant one and I would highly recommend this dealer. The customer service was perfect!!

As soon as I walked in, the salespeople were very attentive and polite. They were able to quickly target the model car I was looking for according to my needs. Once I decided on what I wanted, the leasing process was fast & smooth-I spent much less time on the paperwork process than in my previous experiences in other car dealers. Very satisfied with my entire experience.

I just bought my first car, and Charlie was the only salesman of all the dealerships I looked at who didn't pressure me, but instead let me make my own decision. He dealt with my honestly, and fairly, and made sure not to waste my time. He told me from the beginning what he could and couldn't offer me, and it was really a pleasure to do business with him.

I had originally seen my 2011 Mazda 3 online before coming in to purchasing it and had went to a competitor (Ramsey Mazda) before hand, but had not liked the atmosphere or the sales people. As soon as I left Ramsey, I had someone call and check if the car was available. Ken spoke with us explained it was a technically a used loaner vehicle, but none the less 2011 and it was on his showroom floor. As soon as we got there, Ken was as helpful as can be in explaining the pricing, warranty, vehicle features. With out a hitch, I was able to negotiate the price I had wanted and drove the car off the loft the same day. I am very pleased with the customer service I have received and look forward to recommending family and friends to Mazda of Lodi.

I did my homework prior to visiting dealers for a Maita. Mazda of Lodi was my last attempt before taking a break from the sale's pressure. The experience of buying a new car can take the joy out of why you are there in the first place. Not so with Mazda of Lodi. Jeff the manger happened to be in the showroom when I arrived and after a brief introduction he handed me off to Ken Kopack. As we talked about the car, I got to know Ken. I think his varied sales background gave him a unique style. I felt as if I was talking with a friend about why I wanted to buy the M-5. When it came to settling on the price it wasn't that back and forth with the manager. Jeff told Ken if I wanted the car, this is what we can do. It was fair and I bought it. Since buying the car I met Joe and Dave in the service department as well as a few other employee's. I'm please with the car and the dealer and I highly recommend Mazda of Lodi.Vincent J. Occhino

Went to this dealership after I had problems with the Ramsey dealership who would not fix my problem under warranty. The Ramsey dealership claimed that due to a minor accident the problem I had may be related and therefore would not be covered. I took their suggestion and went to my mechanic who did the repair work from the accident and he stated that in no way was this problem related to the repair work he did. I went to the Lodi dealership where the car was purchased and explained the problem. Jeff at the dealership confirmed that the problem was not related to the accident and the car will be repaired under warranty. It is not the case that all Mazda dealerships are created equal and it was my error not to go to the Lodi dealership in the first place. To Ramsey Mazda's credit they suggested I go there in the beginning.

My husband and I were looking for a Mazda CX 7. Mickey was the sales person that greeted us at the door and assisted us with finding the exact Mazda CX7 we wanted. He was very helpful in answering all of our questions about the car. He and Charlie went over numbers with us and explained the difference between leasing and financing options available to us. We actually qualified for the special financing and decided to go that route. Both Mickey and Charlie were very professional and we would absolutely come back for another Mazda and buy it from them when we need another vehicle. Thanks again

I was looking for a Mazda3 and Mazda of Lodi was the nearest dealer in my area. Overall my experience was very good. I dealt with AJ who was very helpful and informative. I was able to lease my car that night and they returned my old car to another dealer the next day. I would recommend using them.

Employee I dealt with was excellent, really worked well with me to make sure I got the car I wanted in the budget I had set. Really easy to talk to, very understanding to finacial situation, but still managed to get me what I wanted. Quick and easy paperwork, I got to drive my car home the same day.

AJ was an excellent salesman. My experience at Lodi Mazda was a pleasant experience. He didn't try to hard sell me. He showed me my options and let me decide what I really wanted. The financing manager was also very good and professional. I bought a Mazda 3 sport hatchback and am extremely satisfied with my car as well as the overall customer service I was given at Lodi Mazda. I would highly recommend everyone to visit this dealership; this could be their first and last stop unfortunately for me I visited 3 previous dealership and had hard sells and walked out without a vehicle before I went to Lodi Mazda.

I visited Mazda of Lodi to see about leasing a vehicle. I was greeted in the showroom by Michael Hroncich who proceeded to allow me to play "Goldilocks" in each of their showroom vehicles as he explained each one to me. The 2 vehicles I really liked were the CX7 and the Mazda3. Michael introduced me to Rick Mostacero when I needed to talk about the lease. Rick was very knowledgeable and nice. I have met a few car salesmen that didn't care about my budget, just closing the deal. When we couldn't come close with the CX7 figures it took just a couple of back and forths to agree on the Mazda3 lease. I am extremely happy with both gentlemen that helped me. AND, I really like my Mazda 3!!!

I wanted to buy a new Mazda 6 sport vehicle and Charlie was the first to greet me at Mazda of Lodi. He went over all of the features and questions that I had about the car. He was helpful and very patient in guiding me through the process. My credit isn't really great and it took a while to get me approved but I have to say that the finance manager worked with me in order to get an approval and I was so happy to be able to leave with my new Mazda 6 vehicle. If it wasn't for Charlie and his finance manager I don't know what I would have done. I will go back again when I am ready for another vehicle. Thanks Guys

My son and I went into Mazda of Lodi to look for a used vehicle for commuting back and forth to school and home and found more than we bargained for. Mikey approached us and showed us the used cars that were in stock and explained to us that new car rates right now were better than used car rates and that we could probably get a new car for close to the same payment of a used car. We entertained the idea and sat down with Mikey to go over what new car rates would look like. After going over a few different numbers and models, Mikey and his Manager Jeff were able to show us some figures that would work with our budget. We were surprised to see that our payments would be less on a new car than on the used cars we had first looked at. Needless to say we went forward with the car purchase and are very happy with our decision. The staff at Mazda of Lodi were very helpful and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I received a call from Steve in regards to my lease that was set to expire in January and scheduled an appointment to come in and return my leased Mazda vehicle. At first I did not want to get into another lease with Mazda because my needs had changed. In meeting with Steve, he actually showed me the Mazda 5 vehicle that I did not know Mazda even made that had the amount of seating I needed along with the safety I was looking for in a new vehicle. After going over my finance option with Steve, he and his finance manager were able to accommodate my budget and even worked in other features into the car that I did think that I was going to be able to afford. Thank you Steve and Mazda of Lodi for making very happy with my new Mazda vehicle.

Went to the dealer on 1/6 to get some information about current deals/financing. Ended up leasing two cars on the spot. Drove both cars home on the same day. Glenn and his staff were friendly, knowledgable, efficient and honest. No hidden fees. They even took one car on trade and arranged to have our Jeep turned into the local Jeep dealer. How's that for outstanding service? In the past 11 years, we have owned 5 different Jeep/Chrysler products. My wife and I are looking forward to a long and lasting relationship with Mazda and more importantly, "MAZDA of LODI"! There are closer Mazda dealers to our house, but we will always shop at Mazda of Lodi.I have no affiliation with this dealer other than as a customer.

I bought not one - TWO cars from this place. Then it was time to give up my lease, so I wanted to buyout my cars because I loved my vehicles. I took my car here to get service, they stole my navigation cd. I bought new tires and had them mount them, they broke my tire valve and sensor and had the audicity to tell me I had to pay for a new cd ($250) and a new valve that they would do as a courtesy and also the tire sensor ($165). SO basically they steal my car components and then break things and ask me to pay for their mistakes! THE NERVE! This place is complete garbage. They don't help you - they just try to take your money. I observed a customer walking in trying to test drive a car with a test drive slip, they basically told them no not unless your buying a car today. Not only do they not let you test drive, they bascially wont' give you the time of day if you don't say yes I'm going to buy a car today. They rip you off with the finacial end as well. I went over to Ramsey after dealing with these scumbags , because that's exactly what they all are and Wayne Mazda treated me like I should be, like a customer that is looking to purchase something, they treated me like a human with feelings!!! I absoutely cannot believe that anyone has had a good experience going to this dealership. All these reviews that were good were probably the reps themselves. I'm sure this place will go out of business soon because a place like this that lacks customer service in a recession, well, they just simply cannot stay in business. You all will have bad karma in life because you do not treat people the way you guys do.DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DISPICABLE DEALERSHIP - GO TO EITHER WAYNE MAZDA OR RAMSEY WHERE THEY ALWAYS TREAT ME, THE CUSTOMER, AS A CUSTOMER AND NOT LIKE GARBAGE!!!

We had a brief but a very unpleasant experience with Mazda of Lodi.Went to the dealership on Saturday morning and looked at CX-9 in theshowroom. A salesman introduced himself and spent a few minutes going over the basics. We told him that we had to run, but were going to come back the same day in a few hours and would like to test drive the car. He said it was no problem, and any one of the sales people could help us if he was not there. We called in the evening, half an hour before coming to make sure we could come in and test drive the car. We were assured that we could. As we walked in, we were told that it is too late to test drive the car, and that we could only do so with the salesman who already started helping us before, who already left for the day. We actually spoke to the manager, who was rather rude. We said that we spoke to the guy only for a few minutes, and we could not stay for a test drive then. He said that the only way we could test drive the car was if we were planning to buy it right there and then. He said that we can call for an appointment with the same salesperson during daytime. Our response was, that we are both at work during daytime and evenings or weekends is the only time that's convenient for us. He response was, "Did you think about my convenience?"If that's coming from the manager of the dealership, you can imagine how his sales people relay their wonderful ideas to the customers.DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Even at another Mazda dealership they laughed when I told them how horrible the service was at Lodi. Your reputation precedes you. Great way to conduct business, Mazda of Lodi!

Shopping around for a new car was exhausted going from dealers to dealers until we met Charlie at Mazda in Lodi dealer. My wife and I spent couple of hours but it was well worthy as Charlie made us realized that quality and luxury is well affordable for regular family like ourselves. He was respectful, courteous and well knowledgeable of his role and did not leave us alone until we made up our minds to which car to buy. He helped us thru the decision and worked out a deal that we considered great as it fitted perfectly in our taste and financial responsabilities.Thank you Charlie once again...it was a great experience buying our new car from you and it feels great seeing our new 2011 CX9 parked on our driveway !!!

Unless you want to waste your time and be actually send elsewhere.. yes.. you might go to this dealership. After receiving Testdrive certificate in the mail.. and actually being in the market for the new car, decided to go and testdrive Mazda that I was interested in. Sales guy did show car in the showroom.. but after asking taking one for the testdrive -asked if I was really want to buy this car.. Well, I said.. I don't know how car handles.. so can't tell for sure if I am going to buy it before test driving it. He said - "wait.. I will go to the sales manager and ask him.." After waiting for about 10 minutes, he came back.. and said.. SORRY.. UNLESS YOU ARE GOING TO BUY CAR TODAY, I CAN'T LET YOU TESTDRIVE IT ! What!!!!????? I though that he was just kidding.. well.. NOT.. so I asked him to talk to the sales manager. And.. Guess what.. HE SAID THE SAME THING.. and also he made an excuse that he has NO ONE to take me for the testdrive. THERE WERE 3 Sales people on the floor.... NEITHER ONE was even with the customer. As a matter of fact I WAS THE ONLY ONE in the showroom...I did ask him.. if he was for serious.. THERE WAS NO WAY I was going to buy a car without even test driving it.. and he said YES.. After I told him that I am going to complain to someone - he just gave me the card and said "GO ahead".. By the way, I hope that he gave his own card..SO.. HERE IT IS.. IF YOU SEE GOOD REVIEW ABOUT THIS DEALERSHIP - IT MEANS THEY are posting it THEMSELVES.. or Paying someone to do it. After everything I went to the MAZDA of RAMSEY - and it took me less than couple of minutes and friendly sales lady to take me for a testdrive.. and even though I havn't bought a car yet (it takes little time for me to decide), but I will consider to go back to RAMSEY..and not to this crappy Lodi dealership. Not sure how they even doing busines.. even in Ramsey they told us that we are NOT THE ONLY one who complained about service there.. Imagine yourself BUYING car there.. Good luck... no matter how good deal they will give you. After sales, you will get NO SERVICE.. or even worse - you will get screwed. I havn't seen THIS KIND of customer service ..well..NEVER!!!!.. particularly when you were going to spend thousands of dollars on the item.So.. Good luck.. Hope that MAZDA CORPORATE going to read this review.. and do SOMETHING about it. This dealer gives the whole company BAD NAME.

Went in to lease a Mazda at Mazda of Lodi in October and this Sales Manager Jovany was amazing. Very patient, explained all the options and I feel I got the best deal. He offered my kids drinks and let them watch TV so that I can concentrate on the deal. Drove home the same day with my new Mazda. My monthly payments are exactly what I could afford - he kept within my budget. It was the most stressful and painless car buying experience I've ever had. I'll return my car at Mazda of Lodi anytime.

i purchase a mazda 3 from them 2 years ago. i was just going to purchase the lease this weekend. when i took the lease on i told the sales rep and finance manager that i wanted to buy the car at the end of the lease and wanted to know all the fees at the end of the lease. they stated to me - buyout price, sales tax, dmv and doc fee. a little over $1k for the car. i said great. When i went to purchase the care this past weekend july 2010. they raised the fees to over $2500!! while i was speaking with them the manager jeff hung up on me. i called back and then lance hung up on me. DONT GO THERE!! GO TO ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP. My mazda is good - you can buy your lease out from any other dealership - you dont have to go there! How they can do business that way is wrong and unjust. i have reported them to better business bureua.

I was yelled at and told that I could not be helped with turning in my end of Lease on a Saturday morning when there were no customers just a bunch of sales man in the showroom doing nothing !!! Giovanni, said he would text Glen the owner to see if he would make an exception. He came up to me with his cell phone, put it in my face and showed me that the owner texted him back "NO!!! Tell her to leave and come back on Monday."I would never recommend this dealership to anyone please do not go. If the ownwer doesn't even care about his customers why would the sales people care! Also I want to add that I was seriously considering purchasing my vehicle but I was very upset that they wanted to charge me $999.99 to ground my vehicle and then they said I would be able to buy it out. I called Mazda American Credit and asked about the fee and I was told that there is no such fee! When I told the sales rep at Mazda of Lodi, He told me Mazda American Credit has nothing to do with them! This really made no sense to me.I didn't feel comfortable with the situation so thats why I didn't purchase my vehicle

I would wish to recommend this dealership only to my enemies or those who have cash to throw out without regards to the final price.Matt was one of the dealerships that contacted me to urge me to consider buying my Mazda 5 from their dealership. All in all, from his voice message he left, he sounded like he was a genuine good guy with the best of intentions. Little did I know how wrong I was. When I set up a time on a Saturday afternoon to go to the dealership I should have just skipped out altogether given the few people I saw stopping by on such a busy road. Still I took a chance and got a chance to sit down with Matt. I already did alot of research on the Mazda 5 I wanted and what I was expecting to pay. When he sat me down before even discussing the price he was going to give me, he became a drone and started taking down every possible information about what I was looking for, how much I made, and if I was going to throw in my car as a trade-in. Little did I know that this was all a ploy to give him some leverage in negotiations. A word to the wise - if a dealer starts asking you all this information and writing it down.......walk away. Being the first car I would ever decide to purchase, it was a learning experience. His little cube was set very humble with a picture of him and his daughter(?). I was with my cousin who was familiar with these tactics to make it feel like he's an upstanding person looking to fool you into a false sense of security. When he returned after discussing with his boss and using some formula I won't understand, he gave me the manufacturer's price. Right off the bat, I knew I made a wrong choice in coming here. If he thought he could get away at charging me the full price WHICH I already researched and NOBODY pays for that car, he was dead wrong. I think he soon realized that when I chuckled at that price. Matt tried to feed me some bull about this is a good deal and I wouldn't have ANY of it. After that he went back to pull some numbers out of his rear with his manager and brought back the infamous "invoice" price the dealership paid for the car. He said he'd be fired for showing me that price and NO OTHER DEALERSHIP would show me this piece of magical paper. Another piece of bullshit that I already knew about after visiting a previous dealership who showed me the EXACT same piece of paper. Funny thing is when I questioned him about some of the numbers he didn't know anything about it, but I was already informed. (There is a supposed price that dealer employees pay for and another price that manufacturing employees pay for) Needless to say, I was ready to walk out and he should've known better to stop his false "best intentions". Humoring him a bit I asked what would be my "out the door" price after all this is said and done with taxes and fees. I already knew about the title fees and maybe a dealership fee but then he threw in a windows etching fee that's "required by NJ law". If they say this, instantly call bullshit. I didn't believe it and after leaving I did my own research on car laws and this is NOT required. Lies upon lies, I was exhausted and I was fed up with this crap I was being fed. When his manager, Mike came over as a last ditch attempt to gain my business, he was less than friendly and was obviously not happy that I was trying NOT to get ripped off. Maybe because HE was ripped off from the manufacturer or he wasn't happy with making just a couple hundred dollars, I dunno. When he asked what price I was willing to settle for I just threw out a made up number just to get out of there. After sharing his statement "I should be ashamed of myself" for trying to deceive the dealership. That to me says plenty about this dealership. Maybe Matt is a nice guy, and maybe he was pressured by his stern boss to get the "best" deal out of his customers. Either way, if he was more up front about it, I may have considered it, but business is business. You play your cards wrong and get called out and what's done is done. Needlessly to say, after this experience I would NEVER go back here and watch out for these "I'm your friend" tactics.

This is my second Mazda - leased a CX7 from Wayne Mazda 3 years ago, went back to turn in vehicle and lease CX9. Wayne took my deposit, promised me the vehicle in 3 days and after 2 weeks of me calling them (because they weren't even professional enough to follow-up with me) they then told me that they didn't know when they could get my specific vehicle - in the meantime they had my money. I went online to request a quote from Lodi and Lance called me within a couple hours - that evening I had the exact car I was looking for at the price I wanted. Lance had me in and out of the dealership in less than an hour. I will NEVER go to Wayne again and will definitely recommend Lodi to anyone who is looking to get into a Mazda vehicle. I love my new CX9!!! Thanks Lance!

Stay away from Mazda of Lodi. They are out to grab your money and lie to your face.I took my car in today for an air conditioning repair that I thought would be covered under the "bumper to bumper". This is how they call it.I have maintained my car according to the Mazda book recommendations (this is my third Mazda)and the car is under the 50k. Right away the manager makes you sign a waiver indicating that if the repair in question is due to your actions, you are responsible for a $150 diagnostic fee. The guy explained to me this meant if I drove the car into a sinkhole or something like that.Fine, I thought, and signed. Well, that's how they get you. This Jeff comes back an hour later with a $150 bill indicating that it was my fault the air conditioning stopped working and flooded my car! And he says this with a straight face. I debated him and then he tells me he consulted with his superior and they both agreed. When I asked him to speak with his superior he says he's actually his own boss so I should call Mazda Corporate and gives me a 800 number.I was there during lunch time and there was nobody there buying cars and only two other customers in "service". He did not even dry my car so I really don't khnow if he even fixed the problem. Some service. So I will take this up with "Corporate Mazda" and will never set foot again in this place.Do not bring your car here. If you must, don't sign anything they put in front of you. They must be desperate if this is how they treat people.

Following a disturbing experience at Ramsey Mazda (see reviews), we visited Mazda of Lodi and had a great experience with Glen and Lance. We briefly described the situation that occurred at Ramsey regarding our potential lease of a CX9 and Glen and Lance quickly gave us a price on a lease deal. We decided to lease the CX9 there and the experience was much more positive than the Ramsey experience. Lance and Glen were professional, friendly and courteous and seemed to give us the best deal which was much better than the proposed deal/debacle at Ramsey. I would highly recommend to anyone to use this dealership and please read my review of Ramsey and stay away!!!

Here's the thing.. if you do your research ahead of time and don't rely on rely on the salesmen for every single detail, your experience should be just fine. I came after 8 pm on a Monday night, dealt with Lance, and I was driving off the lot in a brand new CX 9 by 9pm. Easy service, easy deal. Thanks, Lance... from- your new VIP :)

Lance was very personable and professional. He was willing to work me to get to a price point that I wanted. I leased a new Mazda 3 for one of my daughters. He did the heavy lifting of working with his management team to get me the price I needed. I was returning a leased car with excessive miles and lance was able to get me a rebate check from the dealer to help offset 90% of my out of pocket expenses and for the excess miles. I would the dealership and specifically Lance to friends and family for their car needs.

On January 6, 2010 I went to the dealership and brought a lady who had some credit problems and was not approved by another Mazda dealer. Mr. Zaku took control of the situation and really walked the extra mile the get the deal done. Even though a higher down payment was required to close the deal, the important thing is that the objectives of the customer were satisfied. Mr. Zaku is very intelligent, great education, great manners, and above all, he puts the interest of his customers first.

My 2002 Honda Civic was pretty beat up, and it was starting to goc. I went to Honda and Toyota, both didnt work out. It was New Years Eve, at about 4pm. James was OUTSTANDING. He was very easy going with the price I was looking for, he was extremely efficient, he even gave me a deal when I needed to increase my miles (10K wasnt enough for me). The paper work was done so fast, but professional. I feel as though I blinked my eyes and I had a new car. He was also great about the amount he gave me for my Civic. I was at Honda for an hour, and got no where, I was at Mazda for 45 min with a deal, papers signed, and in my new car. Amazing experience and I would recommend James as your sales guy! He was down to earth, very friendly. Gave us that comforting feeling, that I wasnt being taken advantage of, and he was there to make sure I was happy. He even called and transfered my insurance for me!! New Years Eve at 4pm, you'd think that car dealerships would be annoyed with us for coming in so late, because they want to close up, but not Mazda at Lodi. They did what needed to be done to make sure I walked out with a new car, and was happy!

Mazda of Lodi is full of crooks who are looking to take advantage of you, trick you into signing the contract and then never fulfil any of their promises. They are extremely rude and disciminate against people of different backgrounds. My husband and I came to Mazda of Lodi to test drive their new Mazda-3 model. The dealer,James, showed us the car and told us that we had an option of terminating our current lease early. He said he would take my current car in,cover the last remaining lease payment and would also take care of the scratch on the back door,of which I had informed him right away.He said their body shop would fix it,and I would have to pay $150 for the labor. In return,we had to sign the new lease right away and choose a car from his existing inventory. He DID NOT have the color or the package(leather seats) I was looking for, however, I agreed since he was willing to take my old car "as is" and fix the scratch for $150 dollars. We signed the lease right there, and I personally returned my old car to him a couple of days later. He took it from me without a word. 2 WEEKS later they asked me to come in and sign my "end of lease" documents on the old car. When I looked at the documents, it was a $850 bill for the scratch from my old car's company which Mazda of Lodi promised to fix for me. It was completely unexpected and contradicted the terms of our agreement. When we tried to argue with them, the manager of the dealership, GLEN, said that HE WILL NOT ALLOW US TO RIP HIM OFF LIKE THAT. He prevented James (our dealer) from helping us and complying with the terms of his own agreement with us. He also said that PEOPLE LIKE US ARE WRONG FOR THIS COUNTRY (hinting at our accent and Eastern European origin), and THAT HE WOULDN'T ALLOW US ANYWHERE NEAR HIS DEALERSHIP EVER AGAIN. I'd never been so insulted in my entire life. Besides, had I not been misled by their false promises, I would have taken care of my old car myself and would have most likely chosen a different new car in a color and package I was actually interested in. I would strongly recommend to stay away from them.

I was very Happy with Steve. He made our car purchase go very smoothly & I walked out of there with the price I wanted! He is very friendly & will work with you. Not like the Mazda in Wayne. That one is horrible. I would NEVER go back to that dealership again, I will always go back to Mazda of Lodi.

What a pleasant surprise to enter into a car dealer and actually encounter helpful & honest people. The Salesman (Steve) was very helpful & professional, and the owner (Glenn) was courtious & genrerous with some perks which he threw in.Thanks guys, for a great Experience.

DO NOT PURCHASE HERE! My better instincts told me not to purchase here, however, due to time constraints and my desire to get the car purchasing fiasco over with, I made a deal with James Zaku of Mazada Lodi. It was a bad deal, I discovered I paid way too much for the car (my fault) and Im very sorry I didnt take the time to do my homework. First of all, practically all of their cars have no added features. We were told it was to save the buyer money and it is cheaper for them to add it themselves than have it installed from manufacturer (yeah right, because they use much cheaper products and the installation looks unprofessional). I explained that the most important feature for me was a Bluetooth (which came standard at most every other dealership for a 2010), but because salesman James Zaku, whom seemed nice, told me he would have it installed, I moved forward. The day after discovering the huge difference in price compared to what was advertised on-line, on their site, and having a heated discussion, they got back to me and said I could return the car, but I would lose my down payment. WHAT?!?!?! For one day?!? Not allowing them to keep my down payment I was stuck with this car and bad deal. With no other choice, I took James' offer to upgrade to install a full Bluetooth rather than the portable which was part of original deal, they promised me a loaner car while installing the Bluetooth and automatic starter, when my friend got there at our appointed time, there was no loaner and was told to go to enterprise. He was not prepared for that and I had to spend an hour in the car with a sick baby to drive and bring a credit card. Well it was down hill from there. When it came time to have the promised items put it, it was hell! I was very upset, and said simply said to the General Manager Jeff Falk, whom is outright rude, nasty, and difficult to deal with that I would not recommend them and how horrible the treatment and service was, but I did not use profanity nor did I raise my voice. He told me to never bring my car there for service and hung the phone up on me. The substandard car service and poor customer service continued! When I picked up the car, the Bluetooth that was installed was a tacky, two chintzy piece of equipment stuck to my windshield, with wires showing, not at all like the Bluetooth I had in the car I just returned for lease end from 2006. Not at all like the Bluetooth one would get with almost every 2010 cars standard. They didnt offer to show us how to use the equipment and told us to call James, our salesman, whom was not there, if we needed to know how to operate the equipment. It was horrible! When I spoke to Jeff Falk (because James was not available) to ask why we didn't get the complete Bluetooth he said that was the way THEY install them. I told him that that was not how it was explained to me, and if I had known I would have let them keep the down payment and returned the car. He said it was too late now, again hung up on me after saying to me that me and my husband (he was not my husband, he was a friend helping me out since the baby was sick) are bad customers and to never come there again. He never has to worry about that happening! As for James, dont be fooled they are the epitome of scam car sales people and dealership, after the sale it was almost impossible to reach him, which is how I ended up talking to Jeff, with absolutely no people skills. I would advise going to a CERTIFIED Mazda dealer, (maybe Ramsey or Wayne), they have better prices and better customer care, Im very sorry I have a 3-year lease having to deal with these people, a car that does not have the equipment I needed and requested and at a higher price. I will definitely do my homework in the future and I wish I had read all of their poor reviews before purchasing.

I thought it was pretty good. I was looking for a used car under $10,000 and the salesman, James, showed me a 2005 Honda Accord for almost 12,000 but lowered it to $9,000. He was very friendly, seemed very honest and knew what he was talking about. It was a great experience.

I went to Mazda of Lodi because they had the CX-9 with the options I was looking for in inventory. When I got there on a Saturday, there seemed to be only 2 salesman, one of whom approached me to find out if I could use some help. I told him I was looking for an 09 CX-9 and he said to me he is not sure if he had any of them left, because they are so popular, they are sold quickly. He checked and sure enough there were a few, incl the one I was there specifically looking for. I checked the interior and exterior of the car and requested a test drive. The salesman said only if I was ready to talk numbers, but they were not really discounting the car since there was a limited number of these cars left. NO TEST DRIVE! The salesman was not willing unless I was ready to commit to buying then and there. The customer service skills of this salesman was completely lacking - there was another customer who interrupted us to look at a CX-7 but he told them they were sold out. They asked if any more were coming in and he simply said, not right now, but when they do, it will be sold quickly. That's a nice way of alienating your customer. I dealt with Jeff the sales manager over email earlier in the year when they had a glut of CX-9's and they were willing to deal then, but when I spoke to him in person, I was given the same line about very little discount if I wanted that car. These two salesmen seemed like sleazy used car salesmen, so we just left. The salesman gave me his business card and when I got home I tossed it in the garbage.A week later I worked with NuCar Mazda in Delaware and bought my CX-9 below invoice price. Yes, I drove 2 hours to get there, but the experience was drastically different.Yes, Mazda of Lodi lost this sale and I am happy they did, because their efforts reflect their lack of customer service skills.

So last year I bought a 2008 Mazda 3. Worked with a great salesman Willy, who is such a nice and kind person. However the service there sucks! As I bought my new car and was about to leave, i noticed that the bumper was scratched all over. I demanded that since I am buying a brand new car I do not wish to have a scratched up car, the owner of the Mazda gave an Okay to switch the car. Then all the sudden JEFF started yelling on how he isnt going to do it and for me to leave with the car. How rude can you be to a cutomer like that? It took over an hour to get the car switched over with this brainless person telling me I cant do it when the owner said I could. If I wanted a scratched up car I would go buy a used car not pay thousands of dollars for a new one!!!! terrrible service... this isnt enough.... In the past months a piece from my steering wheel had to be replced, supposedly I was told that 8 other cars had the same issue. I was fine with it. I was given a loaner car from Enterprise stating that I would only pay 5$ tax each day. Sounds reasonable right? 1 week went by, 2 weeks went by, 3 weeks went buy.... still no part IT WAS BACKORDERED !!!! I called every 2 days to see if my car was ready, the money wasnt an issue to pay for the loaner which is ridicoulous because I know they had other Mazda cars that they could have lended me. I bought a Mazda.. not an enterprize car. This isnt all. After my car was repared for more then 3 weeks... My credit card statemtnt came in and enterprize had charged me over $1,000 for my loaner car!!! UNBELIABLE!! I called Mazda in Lodi and they told me to call enterprize, I called enterprize and they told me to call Mazda. It was a back and fourth kind of thing where I couldnt get help from anyone. I finally called corportate and a kind man had helped me with this issue. Thankfully I got my money back for their mistake. I do not recommmend making any sort of business with this dealer. I now switched over to the Mazda in Ramsey, where I know that I will be treated with respect and get the service I deserve. With the help of Willy E., I know where the great service is at. He sold me the car and helps me with my car. Great Guy who has become my friend. Thank You Willy and good luck in Ramsey.

Here's a portion of an email I sent to Mazda USA Corporate offices. The email addresses I used was: kegawaatmazdausa.com, jamestoyatmazdausa.com, hcrokeatmazdausa.com, bnoceraatmazdausa.com, tmlynarcatmazdausa.comK. Egawa is the corporate VP and the other people are VP's in charge of promotions and customer affairs. I unfortunately couldn't figure out how to get to the President and they don't list his email address. On September 2nd I sent a credit application via Mazda of Lodi's web site. As I did not receive ANY call back as of 3:30 on September 3rd (so far - I'm not too impressed), I called them. I spoke with a salesman by the name of "James" who told me that he could work out a deal based upon my credit, trade-in, and money down for the low $200's per month on a lease for a Mazda i6Sport. I let him know that I had just a little time to get this done and was willing to take delivery immediately. He assured me that it would be no problem that their finance manager (Ellen, Evelyn, etc.) was great and she would make it work. We set an appointment for today (September 4th) at 11:30.I arrived at that time to find an empty dealership! No one, except for one lone customer who was waiting for his car to be serviced, was there to greet a CUSTOMER! (now I'm getting less impressed). After a few minutes (possibly 10), two individuals walked in from the side entrance. One was wearing a button down shirt and was seemingly angry with the person in a dark blue polo shirt. NO ONE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT I WAS EVEN THERE!!Finally, as I decided to approach these two, the guy in the polo shirt asked if I needed anything. I told him that I was there to see James. He let me know that James was outside and would be in shortly. He then walked away. The guy in the button down shirt was at his desk in the middle of the dealership, head down, going through some papers. I thought he might be a manager as he was in the middle of the sales floor, but was confused: A MANAGER DIDN'T ACKNOWLEDGE A CUSTOMER and kept his head down the whole time I was standing there (didn't offer me a seat or welcome me in any way)?!After some more time cooling my heels, James walked in and I INTRODUCED myself (I had too - no one else did!). He took me right outside to look at the 2010 6's that "just came in!" After some time, he stated that he could get me a lease at $259/month. I reminded him of our conversation that I wanted to be in the low $200's and not mid-$200's. I told him that I was ready to do the deal and take delivery in as fast as he could get the car ready. He became slightly obstinate, pulled out his cell phone and showed me a web site where 2010 6's were leasing for $299. He took me back inside to work the numbers. He took a work order and went to see his "GM" about my offer ($239/month). He came back in less than a minute (without the manager - which I thought was odd) and told me that the GM told him the deal was $269/month (more than what he quoted me outside 5 minutes ago!!). I reminded him of our phone call to which he responded that the deal he was offering was pulled by Mazda Corporate YESTERDAY after our call. I asked why he didn't call me and, after some double talk, he stated that he HAD LOST MY NUMBER (I filled out a credit application for God's sake - did you guys lose that too?!) because it was a CRAZY DAY with one of the salesmen quiting unexpectedly and burning his bridges behind him (this is irrelevant, no?!). I asked if he could call Mazda to see if they would still honor that deal and he refused. So, I got up and left. No apologies for wasting my time. No offer to let me speak with this "GM" who probably was the guy at the desk who wouldn't pick up his head anyway. No great Evelyn in financing who could make it work. NOTHING!!I just can't believe that you are willing just to let this ROTTEN EXPERIENCE FESTER for a difference of TWO DAYS AND $30!!!!!! If James had told me the offer was only good that day, I would have come down or even bought it over the phone or internet!! He didn't even call me after we spoke on the 3rd and I don't believe his story about losing my number. IT'S ON THE CREDIT APPLICATION!!!!!! So now here I am. Trying to get help from you. In speaking with your Customer Assistance rep Gabriel Gurrola and with the "GM" from the Lodi, NJ office on the phone, I quickly realized that I was better off talking to the wall. Gabriel also started telling me about Chase's policies - like that had anything to do with dealer cash from Mazda!!Question: Since Customer Assistance (a misnomer if you ask me!) reps only repeat policy, wouldn't it be more cost efficient to employ a parrot? Or better yet, just have a recording!! I also want to add that BOTH OF THESE TWO SNICKERED WHEN I ASKED IF I SHOULD CONTACT YOU AT CORPORATE. I GUESS A LOT OF FOOLS LIKE ME TRY THIS TOO. BUT THE FOOL WRITING THIS NOTE AND WHO YOU'VE TICKED OFF IS RELENTLESS!!!!!!!! YOU CAN BANK ON THAT!!!!!!!!!!So that's the state of auto sales in America today. SCREW THE CUSTOMER and then cry for government assistance because you need customers. Then the "suckers" come out of the wood-work scrambling to buy what they and their feeble little minds perceive as a deal!! Mazda Corporate is there ONLY TO COUNT THE MONEY. THEY HAVE NO INTEREST IN ASSISTING CAR BUYERS.I left a voice mail message for Jeremy Barnes on his cell phone over an hour and a half ago with no call back. It's a good thing he's not a doctor with an emergency on his hands. No wait, my error, in order to be a doctor he'd have had to finish High School at least!!I wonder if any of you in corporate even have THE GUTS TO CALL ME BACK to try to explain why you WASH YOUR HANDS OF ANYTHING THE DEALERS DO!! In my addressing of this email, I tried to deduce the President and VP's email addresses ( I will send hard copy to all via over-night delivery if it doesn't go through) - GOD FORBID YOU LIST THEM ON YOUR SITE!! YOU MIGHT HAVE ACTUAL CUSTOMER CONTACT AND YOU CAN'T HAVE THAT!!

I went to Lodi Mazda to look into their cars. The first time we were there, we couldn't test drive, for a ridiculous reason we can't remember, we had to prove to them we were serious by coming back a second time. After shopping around we came back a third time to buy the car. I called my salesman and told him we were coming at so and so time to make an offer. We get there and we barely talked to our salesman, when it came down to make a deal on the car some guy in a pink shirt (he was a salesman, not the finance guy, we didn't make a deal by that point) comes in and gives us the hardest, pushiest, nastiest sell you can imagine. He was a bully. He only gave us one offer after we turned down paying everything at MSRP price, we then said we would like to discuss it more, he told us no and we'd have to take it now. Then when I explained I need to feel confident about it, and we don't appreciate the hard sell, he told us we can never come back and get the offer.Obviously my mother and I are extremely annoyed and offended by this treatment (this guy was a real fast talker, all of this happened in around five to ten minutes), and I told him that I can't be coerced into a deal right now (we were going to buy the car then and there... but he DISSUADED me). He shoved his hand in my face for me to shake it, said that we couldn't come back to get the deal, and when he got up told me, "thank you for my time", and him, my salesman, and the owner all ran out the back door until we left the building. My salesman called me twenty minutes later, so of course I was still steaming and yelled at him. He basically said he wasn't the bad guy, and the owner said to do all of that, but he convinced the owner to let us come back and get a meager $5 a month ($76 over three years) off the car. I screamed at him some more.We went to Wayne Mazda and got a better deal.

I called this dealership to say that I would be coming in for a test drive. Then I came in, and the salesperson (MD) (I spoke to the same person on the phone before I came in) refused to give me a test drive because "there is no one else at the dealership so I can't leave. All of the other salespeople quit." Then the guy told me, "When you come in to buy, you can do a test drive." Seriously? Steps: 1. research 2. Test Drive 3. Decide to buy. I am not buying a car I have never driven. I called ahead of time to say that I would be coming in for a test drive. They could have told me that they were unwilling to do that before I came in (although it's a load of bull, the salesperson could have given me a test drive; I have no idea why he was so rude). In addition, MD (the salesperson) spent most of the time complaining about how everyone wanted to test drive, but no one wants to buy, that's why everyone quit, etc. He refused to give me rough quote on the car without my credit score (though I told him what level of credit to assume for the quote), and by the end of the conversation was literally screaming at me that I can't do anything until I seriously want to buy the car and that everyone that comes in just wastes salespeople's time, and that "no one wants to work for free." To top it all off, besides the pedantic speeches on the state of the economy and the dealership, the salesperson knew nothing about the car, barely knew what was his own lot, and was uninterested and/or unwilling to answer any of my questions. Summary: Never go to this dealership, it is a waste of space. Drive out of your way to talk to some one else first.

I am done with Car dealership in general, you would think they have your interests at heart, it is not true, it is more about how to make an extra buck at your expense and let you believe they are really working hard for you.At Mazda of Lodi NJThey charged me $577. for the 60 K service maintenance on my Mazda protege 2003, I thought it was going to be a decent job until I found out they did not even check the level of power steering oil, or windshield wiper fluid, and when I asked if they could replace the light bulb I gave them, on the right light beam they wanted an additional $50. just to move a clip, a job that takes less than 5 minutes! I asked for an estimate to repair the front right and left hub ball bearings they said the computer indicated a 6 hours job, for a total of $1330.!! I called AAA, and went to a AAA repair shop in the Bronx the next day, same job for $550. ! And they came to pick up my car at my doorstep! Plus they were extremely nice and friendly.Their estimate for the same job was half the hours of the dealership!Plus the service manager Henry Colette at Mazda of Lodi was not the most friendly service person I ever met and did not seem to care much about quality and customer service satisfaction..

Mazda of Lodi managed to alienate a potential customer, lose a sale, and paint an unsavory association with the Mazda brand name, all in less than half an hour.I was in the market for a new vehicle and having read excellent reviews of the Mazda 3, I performed a lot of research and decided on a trim option that fits my budget. To check out the car in person and hopefully take a test drive, I visited the Mazda of Lodi dealership in Lodi, New Jersey. For about 5 or 10 minutes I examined the cars on the floor, seeking out a vehicle in the trim level in which I was interested. I couldnt find it on the floor and mentioned this to a sales associate who approached me (Sales/Leasing Mgr, Jerry Stern). Rather than help me locate it himself, he told me to go out into the back lot, and said I might be able to find it there. I spent another 10 minutes searching for the car, and finally located it.When I did, I came back to ask some more questions of the same associate about that vehicle. After answering those questions I told him I was interested in purchasing that model and that I was searching around for a good price. He told me to come back with prices from other dealerships and then he would work with me. Frankly I was a little stunned. I explained that I at the very least needed a place to start from in order to make an informed purchase. I also pointed out the paradox that he sold cars but wouldnt give me a price.I then asked if he could provide me a ballpark figure of the trade-in value of my current vehicle. He also denied that request even walking away from me and speaking over his shoulder. Thats not how I do business, he told me.I was never even offered the opportunity to take a test drive.Their collective attitude seems to be summed up as indifference and arrogance that simply perpetuates the stereotype of the sleazy car salesman. I would steer everyone away from this dealership.

I went in to see a new Mazda. Not impressed by service or friendliness, and they wouldn't give me a quote (not even sticker price!) until i went in. I finally went in and it was a waste of time. The salesperson gives me a sticker price and I try to negotiate but he won't negotiate until I show him that I'm gonna buy from them.Next day, I call in with a quote from another nearby Mazda, and the salesperson instantly gives me a $1000 discount to try to get me to buy from them, but the price wasn't competitive enough to two other dealers, so I just said sorry and hung up.Not many people here are helpful and they take FOREVER to get some stuff done. I may suggest Wayne Mazda for quotes as well as Ramsey Mazda. Try to find a dealer you like that can match or beat their prices.

I called to get a quote on some repair work--man in service said "we don't give quotes over the phone-especially to women!" And then hung up!!!!! I'll NEVER CALL, GO OR RECOMEND THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What an idiot!!!!!!!!!!!! The state the car dealerships are in and then to make such an idiotic quote.

My car was stalled so droped with this dealer overnight. Next day they informed after diagnosis the car needs Idle Valve, gasket and ignition service. Since my car was close to 60k miles and ignition service was part of that service I negotiated a rate and agreed over phone. At evening while i was there to pick up my car got surprised he did 45k miles service and change Idle valve etc. Asked why he did not complete 60k as agreed response "his technician felt this car don't need transmission service etc". How stupid they think of me? Asked for refund discount since they did not do all the service as agreed the answer was pay the full money and take out the car. Already complained to Mazda and BBB. Please don't take your car to this dealer. I will never never go to him again.

High pressure sales tactics at Mazda of Lodi.To Rick and colleagues:You will never get business from anyone with half a brain with your forceful conditions. Manipulating potential customers will only get you unfavorable reviews. Take your business elsewhere! I am.

Purchased a 2005 fully loaded RX-8 from these guys. Did my own research beforehand so was aware of all the quirks/issues with the car. Sales experience was satisfactory so that is for another post. This post is to note the subpar maintenance service that I got... After a few months (about 4K miles), the right steptronic paddle shifter became faulty, so I called to schedule for a routine oil/filter change and to have them fix the shifter. I work during the week so had to schedule for a Saturday, and was told the technician that can look at the shifter doesn't work on Sat, but I can still have my oil changed. So I said fine. Took it in, waited an hour, then drove it back home assuming everything was fine. A week later, when I opened the hood to replace the washer fluid, I found my engine cover was missing! Called them to ask them if they had forgotten to put my cover back on, they then became exceedingly defensive, saying some BS like "My techs are A-Spec alright? If your engine cover's missing is probably because you misplaced it" Finally persuaded them that it could be because they forgot to put it back on after the oil change, and scheduled a weekday appt to have it replaced and to have them look at the shifter. At the end of the day the service advisor claims that my shifter was perfectly fine! I was running late for another appt so I said I'll check it out and come back. I didn't bother. They also claim they give you a "Full Circle" inspection when you take your car in there, I doubt they did that... If you want dealer maintenance service on your mazda, go somewhere else!

Wanted to test drive a new car. Went in with a friend. By surprise it turns out my friend use to go to school with one of the salesmen. So he wanted to be the one to sell me a car. I told him I was in for a test drive at the moment only. He was real busy. I compromised and said I would go have lunch and be back in an hour. I came back but he was helping someone else with a test drive. It was raining a bit. So another salesmen approached me. I explained the circumstances. He said he would help me. As much as you don't want to hand over any personal information I did because I had already invested way too much time trying to just get a test drive. Long story short: I gave my information and was asked if I was going to purchase a car "today". I'm an honest person so I said 'Not today. I have to see how it drives first." He left me to go "ASK". (as they all do as a tactic) I know better so I stood up after about a minute and sure enough he came running back. He them proceeded to lie to me, straight to me face! "We can not give you a test drive today because of the rain. But we can give you an appointment to come back." "How stupid do I look?" was what I wanted to say, but didn't. I mean really. I had just walked in the building for a second time AND SAW SOMEONE GETTING INTO A TEST DRIVE! and You'd think they'd realize my seriousness in actually buying a car because I CAME BACK... just for the test drive. So that shows you that this dealer 1)plays games, 2)underestimates customers' intelligence, 3)lies! DON'T BUY FROM THIS DEALER! You'll be sorry! I thanked the salesman for his time and didn't make an appointment to come back. He proceeded to talk a lot but say absolutely nothing. So why should you take my advice and not go to this dealer? BECAUSE I USE TO BE A CAR SALESWOMAN! I KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT. Bottom line is I was lied to. They have no integrity. They didn't give me a test drive because I was there to TAKE A TEST DRIVE. They wanted me to do something I wasn't ready to do, BUY. This dealer lies straight to your face. You deserve better. There are plenty of fair dealerships out there. THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM!
