While my husband and I ultimately decided to buy a car from a different dealership, we were very interested in finding something that would work for us from Maverick. This was based on the very honest and direct approach they took. There was a genuine interest in our needs and we were given the opportunity to speak with the mechanic on cars we were interested in to learn if the car was sound. We were also invited to have the cars checked out by our own mechanic if we desired. We got straight talk from everyone and the message was consistent that they were interested in being completely upfront about what they were selling. Outside verification with the Carfax history and Kelley Blue Book confirmed that the prices offered really were based on best price considering the real condition of the cars we looked at. I was very impressed overall and would have loved to do business with them, unfortunately the car that worked best for us could not be found on the Maverick lot. They are expanding so perhaps in the future they will have the selection we need for our next vehicle.

I could go on all day, These guys are great, especially the owner who makes sure he can do every possible thing he can until the car leaves the lot and then calls a week after to make sure you are satisfied. There was nothing hidden on what they did, everything they promised happened and also told me that if I ever had a problem bring my van to them and they would try to fix it as cheap as they possibly can. They sell USED cars and they know it, and cannot foresee every possible problem a car may have but they try their hardest to fix everything they can. I have already sent my brother and sister in law to them, and after the deal a few things didn't add up to what they were promised. They got a personal call from the owner, who made everything right and then some when he didn't have to. True integrity is hard to find at car dealerships, and that is how Maverick operates all the time. My wife tells me to leave them alone cause I keep going back to find cars for my family and friends!!!! Some of the cons I have heard are that wait times can be long, and that is true, they only have a few employees but when they are with you, you get treated incredibly well.

Wow, I have never had such a great car-buying experience. Lots of dealers talk the talk, but Freeman and his guys really walk the walk. There were no tricks or gimmicks or surprises, no pressure or hassle, and straight talk from start to finish. Check out their lot, but for an awesome car-buying experience that you will thank me for, just tell Freeman what kind of car you want that's in your price range and let him go and find it for you. It's like having an auto-buying-expert personal assistant or something. Let him kick the tires, have his experts check the engine and carfax, and negotiate with sellers for you. For my car he paid for himself by talking down the seller, and I got a vetted, mechanic-checked used car for less than I expected. In a few years, Freeman may be too busy to give so much hands-on attention to each buyer. I mean check out these reviews. With this kind of service I have no doubt he'll have a huge lot and tons of repeat customers. So give him a shot while you still can!

GREAT INVENTORY, GREAT PRICES, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND POLITENESS IS OUTSTANDING. TREATED WITH RESPECT AS A PERSON..... I BELIEVE TO BE ONE ONE THE LAST HONEST CAR SALES COMPANIES LEFT IN BOISE. BRANDON AND ALL THE PEOPLE THERE ARE A GREAT EXAMPLE OF WHAT A CAR SALES COMPANY SHOULD RUN LIKE. I will send everyone I know to buy a car from them! They are the best in the business and get great used cars. I bought a Mazdaspeed 3 from them that was in perfect condition for being a 2008. They have the most honest team and will do right by everyone. Check them out before shopping anywhere else!

I went in to buy a used car that I found online, I waited around about 30 min because apparently he was the only guy who could help with financing. I got approved for the car I wanted but about 700 dollars short. The guy helping me named Jason said don't worry about it they will contact the lady selling the car and see if she can drop it. For about 3 days I went in and called to see if they found anything out. I was leaving to go camping and asked if he heard back to give me a call because either way I would come up with the 700 dollars. When I came back from camping I called to either give him the 700 dollars or to see if she dropped the price. He informed me he sold the car to someone else. When i asked why he didn't call me he said i should had called him. Very bad experience expecially because it would had been my first car.

This was the most straightforward auto purchase I have experienced. There was no pressure or gamesmanship or stupid haggling. Jason was respectful and informative and very helpful. He even came to rescue me and my daughter when I was on my way to purchase my vehicle and my car broke down -- and he still took that car as a trade-in at our agreed on value! I will recommend Maverick to any friends shopping for a quality pre-owned vehicle.

We had a 2006 mini van that we needed to sell that was getting up there in miles. We have a bunch of kids and they had left their mark. There were also a couple of minor mechanical issues, like an oil leak, and though they were minor, the quotes we were getting to fix it seemed high. My wife and I just didn't know how we would sell it without it being a huge hassle or taking a big hit because it wasn't going to show well. We knew the owner of Maverick personally and he has a reputation for being an extremely honest and fair person. So, we asked him for help. He said, he would take the car on consignment for us. He agreed to clean it up, make the repairs it needed, get it ready to sell and put it on his lot. He agreed to get us what we wanted and then told us what he would try to sell it for, so we could see what he would make. He also agreed to repair it for us and just factor that into the pricing. Everything was very transparent. If he could sell it for more, fine with us. If it wasn't selling, we would know and we could ask him to lower the price at any point. It sounded like a perfect solution. So, we dropped the car off. He made all of the repairs at a fraction of the cost and we didn't have to come up with any cash. This allowed us to sell it for more. We stopped by the lot and looked at our van; it looked great after they got done with it and everything was fixed. He let us know as people took it for test drives, gave us feedback. He worked as a partner with us in selling it. It was great. A little while later we got a call and it was sold. The next thing we knew, we had a check in the mail for the amount we had agreed to. It was a painless experience. It was the perfect way to leverage a car dealership's ability to sell and get the price I would expect by selling it on my own. I don't think I'll ever sell a car any other way.

I was greatly impressed by the level of integrity I experienced at Maverick Car Company. Jason was awesome with his overall knowledge of cars in general and by helping me to understand the 'world of car financing'. There were a few things that needed attention on the car, but everything was taken care of with nothing but an attitude of Complete Customer Satisfaction and fairness...and I'm driving a great car! I recommend this integrity-based dealer to everyone!

There is a sense of honesty that you dont find at most car lots - new or used. Greg was very up front from the beginning - no surprises at signing.
