Run away from these guys!!! They negotiated a sales price, told me that that we had a deal, put a sold sign in the car with my name on it and took my deposit money. Then the sales manager emails me and says that I have to pay a higher price. I thought this kind of stuff only happened in bad movies. I reported them to the attorney general in NC, Maserati of North America and BMW of North America.

My intentions to browse the Maserati lot turned into purchasing a car because of the great customer service shown to me by James Simpson. I've always wanted a BMW, but not a black car and definitely not with black interior. James listened to my concerns and was able to help me see that the car was awesome. It had all of the bells and whistles fit for a queen. Once we went on a test drive and James insisted that I drive to get a feel of the car, I was sold. Still nervous about the cost and payments but he was able to get the payment to were my husband I wanted it. James is professional and a top notch salesperson who I would recommend to anyone to see if you are shopping for a car. This is our third car purchase with Maserati in the past two years. The entire staff at Maserati were friendly.

I just purchased a 2013 S550 Mercedes. This is my second car that I have purchased from this dealership, I also ordered a new Maserati and had the same great experience. My wife recently purchased a 2009 Audi from this dealer. Cash and paid retail price. When we looked at the car before doing the paperwork, it had 2 areas that needed paint work. We were told it would be taken care of when we could leave the car. We left the car for a day, and when we picked it up, areas were still very obvious. We left with the car and had discussed the incomplete fix that was performed. After several emails and texts we were told that they were not going to do anything to fix it. They had done their touch up. Totally ridiculous and surprising from a Leith dealership. Needless to say We would never consider buying there again.

My wife recently purchased a 2009 Audi from this dealership. She paid retail for the vehicle. Prior to purchase, while walking around the vehicle, we noticed some areas that were scraped and needed paint repair. We were told the areas would be fixed. Whe we picked up the car, the areas noted still were not fixed.We brought the car back about 2 weeks later and left it for a day. When we came back to get it, the areas still needed work. Have sent multiple emails and texts and now we are told they are not fixing it because they already touched it up. Ridiculous and really surpring from a Leith dealership. Very displeased and disappointed.

I have bought over 6 cars in my life time and as a woman I can tell you I was not treated respectfully even by some luxury dealerships - like the one I bought my 3 series BMW from Performance. When I went in to trade in my 2010 which was in pristine shape, they offered me wholesale, not even within 3k of the lowest trade in to a dealer value on the web - and they had the service records for the car since it was new. When I walked into Maserati of Raleigh to look at a 2012 Audi A7, they gave close to the highest value - without haggling me to death. It was the best buying experience I have ever had and they sold my old car within a week. So they know how to make a profit without trying to screw you over like Performance tried to do to me. Kudos to the sales manager whose name I forgot and to James Simpson my sales person.

My husband and I visited this dealership last weekend and were very expressed with the entire staff. Ryan showed us a vehicle but was busy with another customer when we returned. I just purchased a 2003 Infiniti M45 from Leith Maserati, and I never set foot in the dealership! I live in NoVA and have been looking for the right M45 for a long time. I finally found it in Raleigh. I worked with James Simpson and he was a pleasure to deal with, excellent communications and he kept me in the loop, even when it looked like someone else had put down a deposit on the car. My perseverance was rewarded by Jim! Two things to note: Leith Maserati not only repaired two items on the car, but also completed two recall repairs prior to selling me the car. The repairs were expected (driver's seat and power mirrors) but they could have left the recalls to me to deal with, but got those done as well. I don't know if dealer's are now required to do this, I know its been an issue, but Leith's efforts were much appreciated. Finally, they delivered the car to my door at no extra charge. To me, that's the definition of customer service. An excellent buying experience and I highly recommend Jim and Leith Maserati.

I usually dread the car buying experience but on this occasion I was so pleased that I decided to post an online review. I am extremely busy and have a very low threshold for my time to be wasted, particularly when it comes to dealer "tricks" and being nickel and dimed left and right. Fortunately none of this happened. James was able to accommodate my special request to have the car independently examined by my long-term maintenance and repair shop (who gave the car a clean bill of health). I appreciated not being hounded on the phone, and that everything we agreed upon took place on time and with no hassles or excuses. James & his backing team were totally professional and courteous from the beginning to the end of the transaction. I received a fair trade-in price on a well-priced, quality new vehicle and I have no hesitation in highly recommending Maserati of Raleigh and James Simpson. I will purchase from them again.

I purchased a Hyndai Equus from this dealership and my salesman Jim Simpson made this one of the most enjoyable purchases I've ever made. This salesman is definitely a people person and a man that knows his business and how to treat cutomers. We discussed my purchase by phone and worked out the details before I ever reached the dealeship. When I reached the dealership he was ready to go. There was a small glitch in our numbes but he worked it out to my satisfaction. I was not at all happy with their finance man (Jason), and feel he could use an attitude ajustment when it comes to talking to customers, but I didn't let his attitude take away the pleasantries presented by Jim Simpson. If anyone want to purchase a car from this dealership' and want a stress free eperience, I strongly recommend that you contact Jim Simpson. By the way the vehicle I purchaed was like new and well maintained. The dealership is top knotch.

We've been looking for a used SUV with navigation and back up camera. The Maserati dealer had exactly what we wanted with lower than average mileage. We met with Nick Williams who provided us with all the information we requested. This is a professional dealership, Nick and the dealership do not apply pressure or sales tactics. The entire process is above board, very accommodating. They provided us with the vehicle to have it inspected before the sale. They reviewed the inspection report and corrected the one item listed on the report without hesitation. We would buy from this dealership again and would ask for Nick again.

I drove a considerable distance to look at a specific used vehicle. However, by the time I arrived another customer had already taken that vehicle. James Simpson helped my find a another vehicle in their dealer network, and used the internet to research the other vehicle, which is more economical and is highly rated for reliability. We made a deal and I bought the vehicle, which has worked fine so far. There was a lot of paperwork involved, but that seems to be the case at most dealers. The entire process took longer than I anticipated, but so do a lot of other things.

We saw a few that we were interested in and sent emails. Well Elijah was right on it. We emailed and he confirmed they had the one I inquired about and another one. He sent me the info on both and we set up a date we could make the trip from Columbia SC. We got there and he had both ready and wating on us for test drive and inspection. We made our decision and told Elijah and he went to work for us. We drove our 7 series home. Elijah was on point and we will make this our 1st stop on our next vehicle purchase. As a woman who hates walking onto a dealership lot......buying a car with James was so easy. He made the process so seamless. The staff is not pushy at all and explain things in such a way that made me, as a lady who hates car dealerships with a passion, feel comfortable with our decision and not pressured or bullied. We drove 3 hrs to Raleigh to purchase our Mercedes SL 550. We had been looking locally and in places when we would go on trips for several months. We lived in Raleigh for a decade and Leith is a very respected company. They own a lot of the dealerships in the area and are a powerhouse there. (For those out of towers looking, they are not a side of the road lot that will scam you). Our vehicle had the best price on the eastern seaboard (by several thousand dollars) and it was in "new car" condition minus the milage (which were low). I have never been to a car showroom where so many of the "preowned" vehicles looked that good. The one we purchased only had one minor chip (and we looked good and hard at it) and no touch ups had ever been done to the vehicle. Before we drove off the lot we were planning our next purchase here! Oh....and their extended warranties are amazing. I hate buying extended warranties but on used vehicles it is a must. Theirs was a way better warranty than I could get (yes, I spent about 6 hours before purchase scouring looking for a better one then they told me about). They beat my best warranty by a year, 12k miles and by over $3,000. Total time on the lot was about an hour. That's test drive, paperwork and detailing. This car buying experience with this particular dealer could have been the best of our lives, but has turned out to be the worst. We purchased a used Lexus with low mileage on it, feeling great about the price and the car. When we drove it home (speeds above 60) it vibrated really badly, also when we stopped. We took it back within 15 hours of the purchase, they turned the brakes and the rotors and explained that "flat spots" on the tires were causing the vibration but said that the spots would "drive out". They didn't, we took it back again after a few hundred miles of driving the car (as they recommended) because of the continued uncomfortable ride. Who buys a Lexus for an uncomfortable ride? They tried to dismiss us saying that it was "only a slight vibration", but eventually we got them to swap the tires out with another vehicle. This fixed the vibration, however now the car pulls badly to the left. We finally had enough and took it to the Lexus dealership, it turns out that the pulling isn't from the alignment as we expected but again, from the tires. Beware of this dealership, they are doing something really shady with their tires. You'd think that a Maserati dealership would be a little less cheap. Come to find out, even though our car only had 27k miles on it when we purchased it, it didn't have factory tires on it (the flat spotted ones) and the ones that they traded our original ones for were even cheaper tires. God bless the person who buys the car that they put our first set of tires on, I'm sure they just put them back on the lot for someone hoping they wouldn't notice the "slight vibrations" of their luxury vehicle.

I arrived expecting the usual dealer run around with long periods of standing around doing nothing while the salesman disappeared As used car shopping goes this was actually relatively pleasant. James was friendly, low key but with a good understanding of his inventory and quickly figured out what we were after. He did not try to push us past our budget. I was not there to buy a Maserati and fully expected to be looked down upon when I asked to see used cars. That did not happen. My only complaint was that the car we purchased had a no haggle price and he really would not budge. The car was in fact very fairly priced I just have a need to feel as though I am the great negotiator. Finally, James looks and sounds like Al Roker and throughout the process I felt like Al was selling me a car. If I were you I would ask for James it really will be worth your while.

My husband and myself recently purchased a pre owned 7 series BMW with Elijah ( sales person) with Maserati of Raleigh. Our first trip was on Saturday afternoon right at closing time. Being from out of town we had to call a couple of times for directions. Letting them know we had traveled 80+ miles they knew we were serious. Elijah had the automobile that we were interested in setting out front with the tags on and keys in the ignition. To our surprise another BMW 750LI had arrived earlier in the day and he offered to bring it around for us to see. Once we saw that vehicle we knew that it was for us. We feel that the sales price on the vehicle was reasonable and there was no pressure with the entire transaction and the going back and forth like we have dealt with in the past. We are glad that we decided to take the time to travel to look at this vehicle and that we was very fortunate that Elijah was the sales person to assist us in the transaction.

About 4 months ago, I began looking for a 2010 BMW 550i GT. Cars.com was one of the internet sites I utilized. About 3 weeks ago, a car I was interested in popped up at Maserati of Raleigh. I contacted them via email and heard back from Elijah Corrica. I found Elijah to be very professional, helpful and personable. He promptly got me all requested information on the car. Once I had all of the needed information, we negotiated a deal on the car and my trade in before I made my visit to test drive. Because my drive was 3 hours, I didn't want to waste my time unless all of my questions were answered. Elijah did a great job! When I arrived on 12/23, Elijah had the car waiting for me ready for my inspection and test drive. I am pleased to report that the car checked out as advertised and I finalized my deal and drove it home. I must say it was fun buying my BMW.....at a Maserati dealership! I can't afford a Maserati but in addition to seeing those cars, the dealership has a great selection of late model European cars in great condition. Audi, BMW, Porche, Mercedes, Jaguar.......and of course, Maserati! My advise, if you are in the market for these kinds of cars, you owe it to yourself to call Elijah.

I personally do not like to be hassled or bothered by salesmen and tend to do my own thing, however, John made my visit very pleasant and I actually enjoyed his sales pitch and ended up buying a C-class Mercedes. We were in the market for a new or slightly used luxury car last year, and we fell in love with a CLS 550 we found at Maserati of Raleigh. The dealership was clean and upscale, and the staff and management were extremely helpful! We found our CLS 550 on their website and set up a test drive with Mr. Walker. Elliot was extremely helpful, on time, and knowledgeable about all aspects of the car and the deal. We settled on a very good price and the management helped us secure and excellent interest rate as well as a great warranty. The management did not try to sell us on things that we did not want or need. We really appreciated that nice touch. We were able to get our trade in and taken care of and walk out with our CLS within an hour of pulling the trigger. Maserati of Raleigh is an excellent upscale and luxury car dealership with a top notch sales crew and management. The inventory is typically diverse and in excellent condition. If you are looking for a late model, used luxury car, I have to recommend Maserati of Raleigh. I know that we will look to them for our next purchase.

My sales person sat down with me and scoured Leith's website in order to meet all my demands. We were able to find a perfect 2008 328i 2 door at one of their Cary dealerships. Without any promise to purchase, my salesman drove to pick up the car so I could test drive. After driving the car, they were very helpful in helping me find a financing option that I was comfortable with. They were totally and completely dishonest about the car before I saw it. What else can I say. I would absolutely NOT recommend them to anyone, not even someone I absolutely hated.
