On Sunday 10/30/15 we went to Southway Ford, just to look. Within a couple of hours we purchased a 2016 Ford Escape , which is what we were looking for, from a young man, Scott Mote. We can't begin to tell you how pleasant and helpful this young man was. He did everything to help answer questions or get information we asked for. As senior citizens his helpfulness and patience were appreciated and made us comfortable dealing with him. Should we know of anyone looking for a Ford product we would not hesitate referring them to him.Also, very helpful, was the young man that did all the paperwork the following day. Daniel Sanchez. As we went thru the items to be signed he explained everything and made sure we understood everything. Everyone in that dealership was very pleasant.

We have not purchased a vehicle in 10 years. We checked around Austin and were disappointed in the lack of customer service. "Give us your email/phone number and we'll call", nothing. Found a used Ford Edge online at Mac Haik Ford San Antonio. Called and Roland called right back. Arrived at the dealer and Ruben met us, took down some information, and off we went on a test drive. Got back and we sat down and started the dreaded negotiation. It wasn't that bad. We bought the vehicle after a couple of "I want this/we want this" and we couldn't be happier. My wife and I witnessed a dealership where most of the employees are smiling, asking if they can help someone, or just joking around with one another. What a relaxed atmosphere! We feel we got a great deal on our car and will not hesitate recommending Mac Haik Ford San Antonio to our friends. Thank you to Roland "whistler" Martinez and Ruben "looking good" Hernandez for a fun car buying experience. We were at the dealership for awhile so they bought us lunch. Say what? Thank you again.

Vehicle taken in for "check engine" light being on. Diagnostics were completed within four hours and the vehicle was ready the following day. Service was warrantied. Service was excellent as was the technician's description of the problem.

drop off vehicle on Tuesday after 5pm we called dealership Wednesday and vehicle had not be diagnose and was told they would call us on Thursday. We called Thursday to check status. We were told part had been ordered and we would get a call when auto is ready. We called Friday morning to check status and was told they would call us when ready to pick up.we picked up vehicle on Friday after 4pm. car is running smooth again thank you. note: When vehicle was dropped off we also informed the low tire pressure light came on and if it could be look at. When we pick up vehicle they said they had put air in tires and all is well.on Saturday our light came on again low tire pressure. We took it to a tire shop and they found a nail on front tire. Not sure why this was not found at your dealership.

My wife and i purchased a 2016 Explorer.And the excellent service my wife and I experience was very pleasing and the worry of not getting our eyes poked was removed by Mr. Benjamin Negron. Anytime you go to a new dealership to purchase a vehicle most of the time you are swayed and feel like you are being sold a vehicle that doesn't make you completely happy and its not the one you want. we truly appreciate the sincerity and empathy shown to us at a time we needed to purchase a vehicle within our mean and at a time that our family was not prepared for it. From here forward we will not go to any other dealer and we have two sons in the next two years that will need vehicles for there final years in highschool and start college and we assure you they will be purchased at your dealership.

Took 2014 Focus in for oil change, went great. Asked about Fuel Pump recall on same vehicle told part had to be ordered. Waited about 10 days , no call.so called Service center. No record of part ordered or of recall inquiry. Finally told parts would arrive in quantity sometime in October and the I would be re-notified. Should have been informed of that when first inquiry was made about re-call. Service Techs/mgrs need to be up to date on this type of information. Your staff Carlos Roca was very courteous and friendly. I did not have to wait long about 40 minutes for an oil change. The only thing was that the service department did not bother to reset my oil for me to know how low the life of the oil is, not sure how to explain this. Other than this, Carlos is an excellent person to have there to greet the people. This was my first oil change (free) I have had my Explorer since December 28th, 2014.

The repairs to the radio were great, but I also had a problem with a grommet missing on the rear passenger door. The service individual told me that I had to pay for one because Ford Motor would not pay for the part if you did not have something to turn in. Since the door had only been open but a couple of times, I went home and looked on the drive where I park and found it. The part showed that the nipple had not been properly installed, but was held on by the paste on the base. The service individual did not write up the problem and installed the old part.

The staff was helpful and told us ahead of time how long it was going to take to complete the oil change. The only thing they forgot to do is give us a copy of the things that the vehicle needed. In the past we have received a checklist of everything that was checked when doing an oil change. For example: battery - good, tires - need new ones, etc.

I bought my car through the usaa car buying service, and the salesman readily assisted me in doing so. They stuck to the usaa estimated sales price before taxes. I would definitely buy a car from the same salesman again. The only negative experience i had was in the financing room. There was way too much pressure to switch to security service, and i constantly had to repeat myself and refuse different offers. I shouldn't have to say no 5 times to move on with the transaction.

Went there on a Sunday afternoon. Looking at the 2015 mustang. After looking around for about 15-20minutes a gentleman came up and said he was a salesperson. We talked a little about the car and after he gave me his card. I came back Monday for a test drive and 30 minutes later was driving out with a yellow 2015 mustang. Overall I think that the Ford team did a good job. However I would of liked the mechanic to show me exactly what he did to my vehicle. I have gone to other place where the have serviced another vehicle I had and the show me what they did to my vehicle and if they need to suggest anything else that needs repairs in the near future. The work performed my truck was exceptional....I drove out literally feeling like it was a new truck! I was not satisfied with the service I received when making my payment though. Staff member Angie seemed "bothered" that I was having to split my payments; I went in for an oil change and was not expecting the $450 bill I walked out with from your dealership. Perhaps your employee has readily available funds for her repairs, I did not so split it into two forms of payment. Then to add to her "distress", I asked that she apply my "service rewards" to my balance and to make sure I was being credited for my current service to my card....again, another "bother" because now she had to recalculate my new balance and print new paperwork. This was the first time I was assisted by this young woman and I certainly hope it will be my last time because friendliness and customer service are certainly not her strong points. I am accustomed to being assisted by Carlos and I always receive quality customer service from him. Bottom line, great service but poor rating for customer service.

I bought a used 2013 ford focus from a different car lot. Had it only three weeks and transmission started overheating. It was a great experience. Went there with my wife and Ruben took care of both of us very well. We were both amazed at the level of customer service we received. Very knowledgeable and patient enough to listen to what we were in search for. The finance department was also very instrutive as we weren't aware of the lack of coverage in standard warranty. He was very cordial and willing to meet us were he could. Even the car detailing team did an awsome job, taking a used car and making it look pretty brand new. Couldn't even tell a difference. I would definitely refer everyone to your car dealership and we are very thankful to everyone who took care of us there.

I came in with a flat tire. Carlos Roca helped me as he has in the past, and provided excellent service. He also noted I was due for an oil change even though I was planning to return in a couple of weeks to have that done (the mileage was 400 or so miles short of the last oil change reading so I thought I wouldn't be able to have it done then). The tire was repaired without having to purchase a new one, or two. I was very happy with both the service and the result.

I drove past four Ford dealers to reach Southway Ford for the needed service. I had made an appointment for a Friday, but because of some changes in my work schedule, my wife and I took the 150 to SWFord Thursday evening. Richard took care of us as if we had an appointment Thursday. Richard called several times to let us know the status of the repairs. He also, suggested we might talk to our insurance company, as he felt they would pay for part of the repairs -- which they did. Richard always had time to chat as he provide the different updates. when we picked up the 150, he had the mechanic stop by and discuss what was found and how to make sure we did not have the problem again. all of my vechile work is accomplished by SA Ford and is over 75 miles from my home. well worth the drive. When I have a need to a new vehicle, I call my salesman, Gary, tell him what I am looking for, Gary finds what I want and sets up a time for us to stop by and close the deal. Just cannot say enough about our relationship with SouthWay Ford.

Do not know the system of how vechiles are taken in to the service bays. I watch and seen vechile with a higher tag number go in ahead of my vechile. I think tag number 618 and 619 should hhave beenahead of 620 which was parked in line behind the two others. Feel like I was pushed back couple vechil for someone to take care of a friend.

Well as my expedition was being service I took my son-in-law to look at trucks, since it's truck month, and he bought a truck. My service adviser was Rick and he was very helpful! Also the sales persons were Andy & Rocky! Also very helpful! We were there from 8 am till about 2:30 pm and they were attendive to us since my son-in-law is partly blind and has cancer. Again thanks to all this people that made our stay there at Southway Ford very comfortable. My son-in-law bought an F-150 and my expedition was getting the A/C and heater fixed. It wasn't blowing any air in the rear and I could only use it in front on max.

It took longer to make the repairs than I would have liked, due to many customers before me and a part that needed to be ordered. However, the customer service representative kept me informed and expedited delivery of the part. Fortunately, I was able to utilize another vehicle while repairs were underway, so the inconvenience was minimal. The problem requiring repairs seems to be solved and I've had no problems since I picked up the car. Happy to have the car up and running in good shape again.

Without an appointment, I drove my Fusion to the fast lane at Mike Haik's dealership for an oil change. Carlos, the manager, greeted me with a big smile (as usual), and got me signed in for the oil change. The technician did the courtesy check, and Carlos checked the computer file and found that it was overdue for maintenance. I agreed to the maintenance, which was completed in about an hour. I appreciate the computer record, and Carlos is always very helpful. I have already recommended Haik's as the best place to buy a Ford and to have it serviced.Thank you!

I was looking for a Ford FX 4 and have been looking for some time and I walked into the Southway Ford dealership. I walked in and went through the showroom and I walked out the side door. Being this is where the trucks were located. I had plenty of time to walk and look and was amazed at how many trucks were actually on the lot and available. Then I was approached by a salesman his name was Julian excellent excellent person. He asked me if I had been helped and I replied no not just yet but that was because of my choice but I knew the salesman wasn't easy to talk to you very professional and really hit it off right from the good afternoon. I hope that Julian will stick around as he had told me he had been with the company 10 years because when I'm looking for another vehicle I am going to see Julian. The Quick Lane Assistant Manager, Carlos Roca, is always professional and informative. He has a demeanor that is always inviting and treats the customers with respect. He always makes sure I understand what needs to be done and what I am in agreement with in terms of the automotive needs. After repairs are done, he makes sure I see the end result by pointing out what has been replaced under the hood. Customer service with Mr. Roca gets an A++. The mechanics do a good job and so far I have no complaints regarding service performed. The only negative is the wait time for oil changes but the service far outweighs the negative.Thank you.

My son purchased a used F250 in January from this dealership. We were charged $2500 for new tires and rims that had been placed on the vehicle as a separate line item. After 5 months on the ground, one tire has separated. The dealership, after much arguing agreed to replace one tire but we were told that's it. Who gets new tires without a warranty? We went to Discount Tires and found out that all four tires were at complete tread depths indicating that they were not new tires. The dealership is no help and the GM refuses to return my call. Stay away from this dealership.

I had a couple of problems with the truck a couple of days after I purchased it and although it had nothing to do with the dealership they did everything in their power to get it fixed and make it right. Fixed the tire and other things that the Jordan ford over looked without a lot of hassle .i also had the battery going bad your tech found this the other dealer did not when it was under warranty . That is bad on them. They just lost a customer .
