Me and my husband found the perfect truck online and it was located an hour away at Lovettsville Auto. We drove down and met the owner. He is professional and very friendly! We test drove the truck and we loved it. After close inspection, we found that there were repairs to be made. The owner agreed to discount the price so we could get it fixed. We went home to think about it and came back two days later. He was true to his word and discounted the price. The process of buying a car can be stressful, but he made it as easy and comfortable as possible. I would recommend Lovettsville Auto to anyone looking for a great car buying experience. Definitely worth the drive from Baltimore, MD

We were in the market for an inexpensive used truck as a third vehicle for our family with teenagers learning to drive. I found a very fairly priced truck here and after reading the reviews, thought it would be worth the drive from north of Baltimore. I was not disappointed. The vehicle was as advertised and was mechanically sound. The owners are friendly and very fair. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. It is definitely worth the drive!

I was looking at different places, trying to find a nice car for a good price. I researched different dealerships online and came across Lovettsville Auto Dealership. I first phoned the company and then went to the place. The person who answered the phone was very professional and listened to my all of my questions. He invited me to his dealership and I decided to go. When I arrived to his place, Mr. Bassem showed me different cars. Finally, I picked one car and decided to buy it. I asked many questions which were answered very patiently and he never insisted to buy the car. In fact, I liked his honesty and purchased the vehicle for a very good price. Overall, I was very happy with my purchase and I would definitely purchase another car from Lovettsville Auto Dealership.

I was looking for a specific car that I could use for myself and for son in the future. At that time, they didn't have that model but he told me that he would call me when he got it. So after a month I got a call and came over to see the car. It was in very good quality and I was very impressed for a used car dealership. The owner was very kind and helpful, also he never rushed me in the process and let me take all the time that I needed. The price was very fair and I brought it to a mechanic who said that it was in very good shape. If I ever need another car, I would defiantly go here again. Everything was clean and in order and I would recommend it to anyone else.

The car was listed a little above the price range that we had in mind, but the owner Jim easily accommodated us and met us at our requested price including the paperwork, taxes and processing fee. This is a small dealership. I found them searching online for a specific vehicle with low miles and they happen to have it. They were great from beginning to end. I and my husband checked the vehicle one evening after hours and they agreed to come back at 7:30AM the next morning to allow my daughter to see the car before she went to work, since the car was for her. This dealership was one of the best experiences I've ever witnessed. I've had so many troubles with dealers, but this one proved their not all out to get your money. This man was very thoughtful, kind and truly cares about his customers. In my situation, I was looking at a car and I was planning on getting it, so I put down a $300 deposit so no one else was able to buy the vehicle. He thankfully held it for me! I went to my bank the very next day, called him, he gave me the information over the phone. He is always available. Never hard to get ahold of and I was certain to get this car! A few days later, I actually found a car that was better in my price range and closer to home, since I'm actually 90 miles outside of this dealership... so I told him that I found a different car and he was VERY understanding and only wanted what was best for my own interest and he also let me have my deposit back! If I ever need a car in the near future, I would most definitely drive 90 miles to buy a car from this dealership! I am very pleased with the customer service and kindness I received here. I HIGHLY recommend stoping by and seeing whats in store for you!

This is my first time buying a used car and it was so much more simple than I imagined. The inventory was very good for what we were looking for. Jim was informative and very helpful. He was very patient through a few little "glitches" and worked around it so that we could get our car in the timeframe we needed it. There was no pressure and everything was very relaxed. When i called to enquire about lexus ES 300, Mr Jim was very pleasant over the phone. I was motivated to travel 78 miles to see the car. I was never disappointed. At Lovettsville Auto we were treated with alot of respect and excellent customer service. One thing that stood is the owners honesty. Lovettsville is a small family business, Jim and his family are very honest, love people and by the time we left Lovettsville auto, we were like long time friends. They tell the truth and goes out of their way. I recommend this dealership 100%. I don not regret 78 miles from baltimore. The prices are fairly cheaper and the vehicles are clean and mechanically fit.

We had a wonderful buying experience with Jimal and Simo. Lovettsville Auto is a small, family owned dealership, which puts you at ease from the get go. The owners are very friendly and inviting. You actually forget that you are possibly about to make a major purchase. We didn't feel like we needed to be on our guard at all, which was refreshing after dealing with a slew of pushy salesmen (by this time our car search was about 2 months old). We found a vehicle we were interested in and I decided to make the 90 minute trek to tiny Lovettsville, leaving my wife and toddler at home. The car turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. I asked the owners if they might hang onto long enough for my wife to come down, but instead they allowed me to actually take the vehicle back to my home! I not only had the opportunity to let the wife check it out, but our trusted mechanic as well. Upon learning that the vehicle needed some minor maintenance, the owners lowered their price to compensate us (on a vehicle which was already priced below market value). We also traded a vehicle in. The owners matched the best offer we had on it, which is saying a lot because as I mentioned, this is a small lot with a limited inventory. They don't have the luxury of letting a vehicle sit on the lot forever, waiting for the most profitable deal to come along unlike a Carmax or Darcars. It seems that they matched our best offer simply because they were trying to save us the hassle of driving the old car back to MD. I even tried to talk the owner out of it. I was willing to take the old gal back to MD if I had to. He wouldn't hear of it. Once we got the new car back home, we learned we were one document short in terms of the registering process (which was our fault). The owner was kind enough to meet us halfway, saving us about 90 minutes roundtrip. They also mailed us the license plates on the old car back to us because we didn't realize we had to turn them back into the state. You would be hard-pressed to find another car dealer who would go out of their way so much to help a customer. Bottom line: great people, competitive prices, limited, but quality inventory, out of the way, but worth the trip for the right car. We would certainly go back. Hint: make sure you check with your dmv if you purchase out of state. Make sure you have all of the necessary documents!

Very good sale. At first glance the vehicle's hood was unable to be opened, but Mr. Bassam called a couple of days later after getting the hood open. He was very prompt and attentive. The sales process went very smoothly, with the exception that Lovettsville Auto does not have a credit/debit card machine, so we had to go to our bank to get an official check to complete the sale. Not a big deal, though. Other than those things, the process went VERY well. Mr. Bassam is a very honest and couteous man.

I had been looking for a Toyota Prius as a commuter vehicle that fell within my budget. I found one on cars.com at Lovettsville Auto Inc. I contacted the dealer and from our very first phone conversation, he provided absolutely wonderful customer service. I came out to meet him and to see the car. I was immediately impressed by the quality and the condition of the Prius listed on the website. The website's description of the vehicle was very accurate. Jamal allowed me and my boyfriend to take the car on a very intensive test drive. The car performed wonderfully! Jamal was very honest and friendly with me and my family, all while providing outstanding customer service. In the future, if the need ever arises for a replacement vehicle, I will definitely be returning to Lovettsville Auto Inc. As a first time buyer, Lovettsville Auto was very easy and quick to work with. I asked them for a particular car, and within a couple of days they were able to get me one with much lower miles than I asked for, for much less than my budget. CAME IN SATURDAY MORNING TO PURCHASE THE ACURA TL FOR MY SON BUT ENDED UP LEAVING WITH THE HONDA CIVIC FOR BETTER MPG. I'm taking the time to write this review as a public service. The ad said no accidents, no damage, yada yada yada. We drove 3+hrs after making apptmt day before. We thought it was weird that they had posted only 2 pics--one from front and a weird angle shot of the back. We were even 1 1/2 hrs late yet they had to jump the van (said the lights had been left on--what is it with dealers? One down the road had to jump his van and said the interior light had been left on. That one smoked but they told us up front that they were wholesalers and don't do anything to their vehicles.) Van was on empty, so we had to get gas. His son had to come and jump van again at gas station. Let's backtrack to say that there were soooo many dents/ scratches/ huge scrapes on both bumpers showing that the van had run into MANY things and scraped off all of the paint down to the rubber on 2 corners. Too many body problems to count--it was as if someone had taken a knife to the back bumper, too. The hubcaps had rust bumps all over them and had been painted over silver. Why do dealers lie about a vehicle's body? Don't they know that red flags will go off when we get there and see that they lied on their ad? We got back at 1:30 and he told us that he closed at 2:00 so we better get it now. Last red flag. We were out of there. Had he said, "There is quite a bit of damage to the body, but it runs really well, has leather seats, power doors, sun roof", we would have worked with that and had the body repaired and repainted (ride was bumpy--may need new struts and/or shocks) if he would've taken price down a little. But, he wouldn't budge on price and had not been honest about van's condition. And he told us he didn't know about the warranty, that he'd have to check on it. Before starting our van hunt, we printed out the cars.com instructions for how to inspect a used car--it was a great help. Good luck to all looking for a used car--may you find an honest dealer! We have hopes that they DO exist.
