I’m always pleased to visit Longo Toyota. A sales agent named Sergio sold my wife and I a beautiful used Avalon. We are very happy with the automobile, and with Sergio’s patient and kind assistance. I have had the car back twice for regular maintenance as covered under the warranty. Each time I have been greeted courteously, and the servicing was handled most professionally. Going into a dealership alone can be intimidating but I have to say that was not the deal here. David is one of the most caring professionals in the world. He made sure to answer all my questions and made sure to take his time explaining if I didn't understand. Went above and beyond to exceed my expectations. He made sure to get the best deal and work with me from beginning to end of the process. I felt like I was being taken care of as a person, not just a sale. We walked in knowing what we kind of wanted already, sales person David Reyes was super nice and not pushy at all, made the car buying experience pleasurable. Cool thing about this dealership is that they have golf carts to take you around the lot so you don't have to walk the whole time, I would recommend this dealership to friends and family, and recommend David as the sales person.

Bad services, bad attitude, my appt. for services maintenance at 7:30am, promise to be done by 12pm no one let me know keep me in contact until I talk to the services consultant at 11:40 and told me it needs another hour, then what is the point the early appt. was made for?! Sales consultant, David R., provided excellent sales exp. Dealership is mammoth and offers huge choice of cars, excellent & competitive prices. Also has a ton of amenities. Their pre-owned Certified process for used vehicles that come in is discerning and detailed, reducing the amount of worry or doubt about your used car.

I was more than happy with David Reyes, he demonstrates a level of professionalism and courts set that is found rarely nowadays. The deal nearly fell through as a result of another one of your sales reps, named Matthew Sadeegi. Who was extremely rude interrupting, adamantly requesting that David take care of another client while he was taking care of me. It pissed me off so much I got up and drove off. On September 10th, 2016 at approx. 930am, I stopped by Longo Toyota to trade in my white 2007 Toyota Corolla with hopes of purchasing a new vehicle. I had owned my vehicle for over seven years, it was a birthday gift for my 21st from my parents. However, it had ran its course and it was time I upgraded it to a more reliable and newer model. I was greeted by David Reyes who helped me take a look at the different cars Longo had to offer and explained everything to me clearly! After visiting several of the LA area Toyota Dealers, and not being particularly impressed with the dealerships I visited, I came to Longo Toyota and found a Dealership and Sales Team that was vastly better than the rest.Robert Hofmann and Laura Tan were fantastic to work with; patient, understanding, relaxed and helpful. I was absolutely delighted with how I was treated and the Prius that I purchased. Longo has a a great reputation for a reason. I absolutely recommend Longo, Robert and Laura; you could not possibly make a better choice of a Toyota Dealer. I also worked with Jules (JJ) Lee in the Finance Department. JJ was very easy to work with and actually a lot of fun. I found the Toyota that I wanted at a great price. The entire process was easy and smooth.Longo Toyota is the place to get your Toyota in SoCal; it is a Dealership that treats you well with employees who make your experience a cut above. I own 2013 Toyota Camry. I purchased my Camry from Tustin Auto Center in Tustin, CA. At that time, I bought 55,000 mile Toyota Care package and paid $1050. At 45,000 miles I needed service on Sunday only. Longo Toyota was open on that day. I made appointment at 10:45 AM on July 24, 2016. I drove 100 mile round trip and wasted 3 hours of my time as service agent could not find me in their system I repeatedly asked whether she was entering it right. She kept saying that you have to pay for the service. I came back and made another appointment with Tustin delearship. They immediately found my contract and were wondering why Longo Toyota could not find it. I also showed them original paper work with receipt when I paid for toyota care. This is not the service I expect from Longo Toyota and certainly warn my fellow Toyota users.Wish you all the best!

After shopping around for my Hyundai Elantra Limited, I found there were only a couple of exact models with the colors and options I wanted. I should have went to Longo Toyota first, as we were able to get the car I wanted, get financed, and all in about 3 hours total! Great showroom, LOTS AND LOTS of inventory, and great service. I live almost 100 miles away, and trust me, it was worth the drive! Do yourself a favor and go here first...you won't be disappointed!

I have always had a problem with sales people. Usually they tell me what I want. This time, Jose Del Solar, changed my opinion about how a salesman should sell. He was patient, didn't push me into a car I couldn't afford and his personality is more of a friend than a salesman. I purchased an FJ Cruiser and cannot believe how much I love this car. My sales consultant Isaac was great! He took care of all I needed with my purchase and went out of his way to make sure I had a working navigation system for my long trip back. Although I did not but a Toyota, the used car inventory is very large and they have great deals. I would recommend Longo to anyone, and especially Mr. Isaac Banos.

Isaac really went out of his way to make sure we got a car that we would truly be happy with. He spent over an hour in the lot with us on a VERY hot day and never once made us feel rushed while we were meticulously looking over used vehicles. He never pressured us to make a sale and we ended up going home that day without purchasing anything. The following day we contacted him again, he got back to us promptly, answered all of our questions, and helped us figure out our options. By the end of that afternoon he was able to get us a great deal on a brand new 2016 Camry that was exactly what we wanted and even stayed after hours with us to finish out all of our paperwork so that we could drive home with it the very same day. Kerry, I did go back so they could correct the problem sadly to say I had to pay an additional $330 for them to try and correct the problem and till today they were not able to fix the problem after paying $1,450.00 in repairs. My car was not making any funny noises until "Long Toyota" did services on it. It had never felt as bad as it does now. Correction was never fix I took it to them again Tuesday 6/14/16 so that they can hear the noise went for a drive with one of the service guys and said he can hear the noise and told me to leave the car so that they can try and see what the problem is again. Today 6/15/16 I get a call and they told me they could not hear a noise. Wow! really so sad how they lie to customers. Never will I take my car for service to "Longo" again.

This is my first time buying a car. Long time ago, I got a quote for 4.9%. However, Takin got me lower to 1.9%. Also, he reduced the price of the car to lowest base and reduce the monthly payment to where I like it to be, below $300. He showed awesome customer service with no BS in between for price. One of my great experience ever, no hustle and no pressure.

David is not your typical salesman. He listens to what you say, asks clarifying questions and by no means wastes your time. If he can accommodate you, he will go above and beyond but if they don't have what you're looking for, he will tell you so you may invest your time elsewhere. The reason why I didn't purchase vehicle from this dealership was because I would looking for a specific type of vehicle that at the time, they did not have in stock. But I did inquire about one online and I received a call back immediately and I did receive follow up information about the vehicle that I inquired about. I am writing a good review because I contacted other dealerships and didn't receive good follow up and my overall experience about an inquiry here was good. If I am on the market for another vehicle in the future, I will definitely look towards this dealership

After going for a recall they recommended I do several things to my Rav4 and so I did due to the mileage it has. Had to leave my car for about two weeks, when I picked it up it felt and sound like crap even the guy that gave me my car asked me what's wrong with your car, I told him what do you mean, he said when I turned it on it made an ugly noise.I told him it was not making any noise when I brought the car to the dealership so I spoke with the service representative. I was furious after paying $1,150.00 on parts they recommended it sounded like crap and felt like crap. To make the long story short I had to leave the car and had to pay and additional $350 in parts that they had forgotten to add to the recommendation list. Never bringing my car for service to LongoToyota anymore.

It's the first time ever I NEED to write a review for bad service for Longo. The reason why we keep coming back is only because of the customer service its provided. Until we met this rep. This rep has serious attitude problem and poor communication skill. He doesn't have patience to explain his recommendations of the service you need, he made it sounds like it is our fault because we never asked for the free check up before. When you tell him you are not happy with the solution, he doesn't even give a xxxx care about it. Instead, he would give you sarcastic laugh. Unbeliablely rude.

Isaac showed us a RAV4, that looked brand new, with low miles at a price we could afford. We left 100% satisfied, and that does not happen very often at a used car dealer. Kelly Blue Book is apparently different for dealer compared to what is online (public) - debatable. Tony's management only came down $1,000. Overall, Tony made the experience great! I would highly recommend to buy your next vehicle through him.

We were at Longo Toyota under unfortunate circumstances. Our first car (which was purchased at Longo!) was totaled in an accident and we were on the hunt for a new car we had seen online. Fred kindly approached us and showed us into a 2012 Yaris. Her was super helpful through out the process and was able to answer all questions and concerns! We also had the unique opportunity of meeting his wife (who was getting an oil change!) and it ends were a big old happy family by the end of our visit! It was an absolute pleasure working with Fred and I have already refered him to a friend! Hope they get to come by and have just as good as an experimencr as we did!

The visit to this dealership started with some browsing around followed by a strange mixup of none of the sales reps knowing whose turn it was to assist us, but Takin was apologetic and pleasant regarding the situation. There wasn't much leeway in discussing the price, which he insisted was already heavily discounted, but nonetheless the final price was agreeable. Overall a good experience, would come again.

I want to say that Marcos Viveros of Longo Toyota Scion completely turned my experience for the day around and restored my faith in the car sales world. I had received terrible and disrespectful service from a DIFFERENT dealer I decided to visit, prior to an appointment I had made with Marcos, and I ended up regretting it. They pulled the old "bait and switch" on me and tried to get me to agree to a ridiculous term and payment option. Also, they made me feel insignificant as a buyer when I decided to back out the deal due to personal doubts during signing by acting out in ways unbecoming of a business representing a brand such as Toyota. With all first-time buyers there is a lot of apprehension, anxiety, confusion, and a willingness to feel like they actually made the right decision. After that experience for the day, I was questioning if the 40 minute drive out to Longo Toyota would even be worth it. Thankfully, it was. Immediately upon meeting Marcos and being in the Longo Toyota environment, I felt a different environment. He treated me like a human and not like a big fat money sign. Even though the car I was looking at wasn't extremely expensive (about 12K retail), he used extreme professionalism with me while promptly answering all of my concerns and questions. That is true customer service. Even when other customers began flooding in and he received pages, he immediately got other associates to assist them and stuck with me during my first car buying experience. I really appreciated that. It made me feel like, no matter how much I was planning on spending, my satisfaction was important, and it was placed above the desire to sell the most expensive car. I understand that car salesman are there to make as much money as possible, but as a representative of any business whose customers have access to so many outlets of media, you'd expect that the great customer service offered by Marcos Viveros of Longo Toyota Scion would be found everywhere. But sadly, it isn't. Marcos did as much as he could to get me the best deal possible and didn't add any unnecessary fluff to the transaction. Even during the expected waiting during the process of buying, I felt patient and comfortable knowing I could trust the knowledge, respectfulness, and professionalism of this salesperson. I recommend anyone who may have had a not-so-great experience at another dealer to come into Longo Toyota Scion and ask for Marcos! He is a straight forward guy who will work with you and help you get what you came for, a new vehicle with some peace of mind and support of a great business. Thanks Marcos! I'll be back and I'll send my friends!

My mother bought our 1994 Toyota Camry and it has run great for over 22 years. I just went back to replace the car (although it's still running) with a Camry hybrid and so far I love it just as much. We didn't originally buy our two Toyotas from Longo, but the 2005 Prius we purchased new from another dealer has its full service history at Longo. To that end, our experiences at Longo have always been professional and friendly, but it wasn't until last week that, for us, Longo really pulled out all the stops.Last Friday my wife was leaving work for the weekend and pressed the power button to start the car. The entire instrument panel lit up like Macy's Herald Square on Black Friday. When the car started, but refused to accelerate past 25 mph, she realized it wasn't just a few stray electrons: It was a major failure of some sort, so she drove it at a crawl, hazard lights blinking, to Longo. The diagnostic confirmed our worst fear: The first and only brand new car we ever bought, with less than 74,000 miles, had burned out its main battery. The repair estimate: $4,134.55.Considering the car was only worth $8,000 (at best), we looked at alternatives to spending half the value of the car on a repair. Options ranged from $400 for reconditioning the existing battery with no guarantees, to $2,200 for replacement with a "remanufactured" pack with spotty long term customer reviews. None were particularly confidence-inspiring, especially since my wife needed a reliable car to commute to work. We even entertained the possibility of just selling the car to a junkyard and replacing it with a new one.In a last-ditch effort to avoid such a drastic (and expensive) solution, we contacted Toyota USA with our predicament. The HV battery warranty was 10 years or 150,000 miles, whichever came first. Since we were a year out, Toyota was not obligated to help, and if they offered anything at all, it would be decided on a case by case basis. So on Monday, we sent an email to Longo CEO Brendan Harrington asking him, if he had time, to put in a good word for us with Toyota as we had done all our maintenance and repairs with his dealership. We weren't actually expecting a response, but to our surprise he replied a few hours later and said he'd see what he could do.The next day, we received another email from him saying that he had heard back from Toyota, who were willing to cover the cost of the battery as a goodwill gesture while our only out-of-pocket expense would be labor, or $730. Longo's parts department happened to have one new battery in stock, and a day later (yesterday), my wife's car was back in her possession with a clean bill of health for a much less painful financial hit than originally expected.As a family of five with limited resources, and trying to save for a down payment on a modest house after living in a rental for the past 15 years, I'm not sure if Longo realizes what a huge favor they did for our family. When doing business, there's no better feeling than being in a transaction with someone who has your back. We're Toyota customers for life, and we'll be buying them all from Longo as long as they sell them.

Brendan Harrington at 626-580-6099 chose to make a little extra money than to follow a legal ebay agreement. This was for a poor 16 year old who just had a car totaled by a drunk driver. SHAMEFUL!!!!

I purchased a used certified 2015 Toyota Corolla S Premium with 7,500 miles. When driving it, I noticed a noise coming from the left side of the vehicle. I took it to Hayward Toyota and they informed me that the B pillar was not welded on the car correctly. The car was at the Hayward Toyota dealership for a total of six weeks getting fixed. This just shows that LONGO TOYOTA does not inspect vehicles correctly before selling them. STAY AWAY!

longo toyota was always my favorite dealership because of their commitment to service & customers and though it had been 26 years from my last toyota i never forgot them. i started my Scion inquiry online and was contacted via email by david gentry.. any questions i had he answered. very quick to reply to emails. so i scheduled appointment ,traded in auto ,and got the scion xb and it took a while but because of david i didnt mind,. very patient(i'm old and decrepit) . i urge anyone to go to longo toyota and especially david. plus he's easy on the eyes. the photo here does NOT do him justice. they were having Hawaii week but i couldnt get lei'ed.. too old i guess

Deal no. was 3069121.Deal No. 30691212.On March 10, 2015, I saw my Masonic brother Victor Reyes, Fleet Manager for Longo Lexus and inquired about getting a commute car for my family. Earlier that week, Brother Victor and I met at our Masonic lodge and he asked me to see him at his office during the week. When I told Brother Victor about why I needed a commute car, we went to the Toyota used car dept. and he referred me to Fred Williams. He didnt push for a Lexus; he understood my situation and felt a Prius would be best for my driving needs.3.Fred Williams showed me an inventory list of 2014 Prius hybrids plug in on the lot. There were 3 hybrids available on March 10. . One caught my eye since it only had 13,868 miles and in the mid $25k range. The other two had many more miles and higher in price. We talked about the vehicle and I wanted to know if there was anything wrong with the car. Together with Brother Victor, we examined the vehicle and agreed that it was the vehicle I wanted since it has car pool lane capability and it came back from a company lease. And the no haggle price of mid $25k was fair. Brother Victor then left me in the hands of Fred to complete the paperwork. Per Fred, the $25k mid range price was again a no haggle price. I agreed to to that price then.4.I had 2 initial concerns: the Prius had no spare tire; secondly, it only had one key. I asked Fred repeatedly about my concerns re: the lack of spare tire. He offered no solution. But he went ahead and got me a spare key complimentary; per his words, he was getting me one for being a KABABAYAN-or countryman in Philippine language.5.Since we needed my wife to be a co-signer, we had to wait until my wife Victoria got back from New Jersey where she visited a sister suffering from brain cancer. Fred W kept the vehicle on the lot from March 10-16. My wife got back March 15.6.March 16, 2015. My wife and I went back to Longo Toyota 815pm after I picked her up from the hospital in Cerritos where she works as a nurse supervisor. Fred herded us to the Finance Dept. for our joint signatures. We stayed at the Finance Dept until after 9pm. Ali Adnan was our contact.7.During the document signing, thats when I noticed that the car price was pegged at $26,988, way above the no haggle price of mid $25k per the inventory sheet. Ali Adnan of the Finance Dept. then called Fred over the phone to discuss the discrepancy.8.I asked Fred why the cost was about $1500 higher than what we agreed upon. His reply: he could not change it anymore. He also mentioned that I had to pay for the extra key, contrary to his prior offer of complimentary, being a KABABAYAN. It was an implicit admission that indeed he changed the price to accommodate the extra key cost and improve his profit from the deal!9.I demanded to see the inventory sheet that he used to price the Prius at mid $25k. This was the same inventory sheet that he showed Brother Victor on March 10. He adamantly refused to let me see it.10.It was getting late around 930pm and my wife and I just wanted to get out of the dealership, frustrated, tired and felt deceived by Fred. We went ahead and signed the contract just to get out of there. I was also very embarrassed to my wife for not catching this discrepancy earlier. She was also suffering from jet lag, having arrived from New Jersey only the night before. The joy of owning a semi new car after 8 years was negated by such treachery and deceit by Fred.11.When we went back to pick up the car from the lot, Fred was with another customer and closing another deal. He spent less than 3 minutes orienting me on the new features of the Prius. Since Fred was closing the deal with another customer, he asked me to come back another day for a more thorough orientation of the Prius. 12.It was a very dangerous move since I was new to the Prius and its high tech features. Such recommendation was so upsetting and ridiculous since he already screwed me up on the price, etc. Fred let me drive the vehicle that night with very little knowledge of its safety features, etc. Yet he did. just so he could close another deal with the couple waiting in his office. He called several days later but the last person I wanted to see in this world is Fred Williams and listen to his slick cheats and lies.13.I bought an extended warranty for 125,000 miles to protect my investment. But when the warranty card came in by mail, it was only good for 100,000 miles! I called the dealership several times but only got a recording. Up to now, I have to get an updated warranty card for the 125,000 miles I paid dearly for.14.You may wonder why I reported this incident only now. I called Brother Victor Reyes and related to him what happened to me after he left me with Fred. Brother Victor asked me to give him a chance to talk to Fred and find out what had happened. Brother Victor tried several times to call Fred but he seemed to be too busy to answer his calls. Brother Victor even wondered if Fred was on vacation since he had not returned his many calls. I deferred to Brother Victors request to give him more time, being brothers in the same lodge and out of mutual respect and brotherhood. But I could not wait any longer. Its been a month.Allow to me to recap, gentlemen.1.STRIKE 1: Fred Williams actions are UNBECOMING OF A SALES MANAGER. He VEHEMENTLY refused to show me the inventory sheet that was the basis of the price we agreed upon when requested.2.STRIKE 2: He changed the price of the Prius in a deceitful manner, selling instead the benefits of a HOV accessible vehicle and the 2.9% interest rate, high tech features, etc. When I noticed the different amount on March 16, he pitched me with STRIKE 3.3.STRIKE 3: I had to pay for the extra key somehow! This was contrary to his initial offer of a second key as complimentary, and I quote him: for being a KABABAYAN. Another lie. Another BS.4.STRIKE 4: I PAID FOR EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR 125,000 MILES. YET I ONLY GOT 100,000 miles per the warranty card! This is a clear breach of signed contract.5.STRIKE 5: FRED DID AN INCREDIBLY POOR AND DANGEROUS JOB OF ORIENTING ME THE NEW FEATURES OF THIS 2014 PRIUS. ITS A BRAND NEW VEHICLE FOR ME. HIS FAILURE TO SPEND THE SUFFICIENT TIME TO ORIENT A NEW CUSTOMER PLACED ME IN VERY DANGEROUS DRIVING CONDITION THAT NIGHT OF MARCH 16! I HAD TO ASK MY WIFE TO TAIL ME ON THE WAY HOME AS A PRECAUTION. FRED WAS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT CLOSING ANOTHER DEAL THAT NIGHT THAT HE HURRIEDLY PERFORMED THE ORIENTATION AT MY PERSONAL EXPENSE AND SAFETY. HE EVEN HAD THE GALL TO ASK ME TO COME BACK 2 DAYS LATER FOR A MORE THOROUGH ORIENTATION. BUT I NEEDED THAT VEHICLE FAMILIARITY THAT NIGHT BEFORE DRIVING IT ON THE FREEWAY! This is another conduct unbecoming of a Sales Manager. Absolutely and totally unacceptable. AND DOWNRIGHT NEGLIGENT.6.In contrast, I mentioned to Brother Victor about my concern for the lack of spare tire. He genuinely offered to buy the spare tire himself and use his employee discount to allay my fears. I was touched by his generosity and willingness to find a solution. Fred did not offer such solution. It was apparent he was just concerned about closing the deal and getting his money.I am providing a copy of this letter to my legal representative and government agencies. I will reserve the right to pursue other legal remedies to correct this deceitful transaction. I have few cars that bought in Longo Toyota and I always go there for service because of the reputation. This time I had appointment at 9:40a.m., check in at 9:50a.m. and the promised finish time by 1:30p.m. I just cannot believe what I heard, does it really need to take about 3.5 hrs just for the service?! I told my service advisor - Jessie that I have made an appointment and normally the longest waiting time is within 2hrs. He did not smile at all from the beginning and just told me that there are other vehicles just came in. I asked if they all had appointments, he just told me they had to be serviced first because they have finished the paperwork. Then what is the point to make appointment if it is based on first come, first served! He did not even say any sorry to me and not helpful at all. I had no choice but seeking the supervisor for assistance. The supervisor was very nice and helpful and finally I could get back my vehicle before 12noon. This time was the worst experience I had with Longo Toyota and I am just wondering if they really provide good customer service.

Sales consultant like Tony Hua is the main reason Longo Toyota has stayed in business for so long. My wife and I was looking for a normal commute car and decided on a Prius two. After checking truecar.com we figured out a fair price for the car. (Always do your homework before going into a dealership)We then decided to go to Longo Toyota because my parents referred me Tony hua. They were given a great deal by Tony when they bought their car and all i can say is i got the car i wanted, the price i was searching for and Tony's service was exceptional! Here are the reasons why you should also work with Tony :1. The whole process was quick and easy. Took me about 1hr and half to finish the deal. I purchased few cars in my life time and i can say i never thought purchasing a car can be so easy and painless! 2. Honest and upfront negotiation. I gave Tony the price i wanted (I got via truecar.com) and he spent some time thinking about it and then told me he can match the price. No back and forth negotiation. Nor did he try to sneak in other options to jack up the price. 3. Friendly services. I never met Tony before and right away he make you feel welcomed and ready to work out a deal. Longo toyota know how to prolong their business. Few years back Longo has horrible reviews and only 2 and half stars. Today they have over 800 reviews with four stars rating. What changed? Location is still the same, they still sell the same model of cars. However, what changed is the level of service their sales consultant provides. Sales consultant like Tony not only will boost business in the short run but he will bring in business in the long as well. On 02/13/2015 at approximately 14:00 PST, I contacted Longo Toyota and spoke to a sales representative by the name of Amanda Cadenas. I saw an advertisement on their website and advised them the particular stock number for the eligible advertised price. She confirmed that the vehicle was available and scheduled for my to come to the car dealer at 16:00 the same day. She said to fill out the credit financing online which I need under pretense that the car was available for lease. In addition, I told her I would only fill it out if the car was available and she placed me on hold and confirmed that it was. I went ahead and submitted the application and came down to the dealer. Once arrived, she was not available and the internet sales manager by the name of Walter Kostecki then assisted us. After 45 minutes, Mr. Kostecki finally explained that the car was never available as it was previously sold but the system was not flagged as sold. Mr. Kostecki then tried to sell us a more expensive vehicle which is a classic of bait and switch. I requested the dealer to remove the credit inquiry, which they pull through experian, as I only applied under the pretense that the vehicle was available when in fact it never was. Please remove the credit inquiry as this was a blatant lie and false advertisement.

Tony was my Sales consultant. He was a really good salesman and I told him my entire financial situation with my credit score. I was turned down by a credit union with a high mid 700 score. Needless to say I went to another dealership and was sold on a 2012 Honda civic fully loaded and I'm happy with my purchase. Also I'm a recent college grad which helped and Tony is also a Cal Poly Pomona Alum. First time here to get my Prius serviced, had an appointment at 10:30am, checked in at 10:32am, was given a pager and was promised a delivery time by 12pm. Waited until 12:45pm and still waiting. Checked up with Service Advisor on the delay and was sadly informed that they lost the paperwork and my car has not even been started on for service. Needless to say they dropped the ball. Since this is a FREE first service, they tried to offer coffee at Starbucks or something else. I just told them get it done and I will just cancel my 1pm appointment somewhere else. Service Manager did his best but this first time visit and experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I'll probably just stick to Toyota of Glendale again. Never had a problem with them with my old Prius.

My Mistake, I should have bought a Honda! Had three significant issues poorly fixed by Longo and by Toyota inspector. Complained to TMS but was told they stood by their dealer. Wrote to Longo's owner and was told the Customer service director would contact me she never did but told TMS she had. Issues were with front drivers seat cushioning failing only after 3 years (Longo put a patch and charged TMS about $80 when they were supposed to replace the cushioning), arm rest that broke but was told by Toyota inspector its not for resting the arm, and noise from front dash was not fixed the first time. They refused to repair it the second. The 4th fix was again at TMS courtesy, the rear hatch was misaligned after 3 years. I was told by a tech that happens regularly to the highlanders. So sorry I bought a Toyota especially from Longo. BUY A HONDA!

After my great experience last year purchasing a 2014 Camry for my dad from Tony Hua, I am back this time around to purchase vehicle for family and I. We ended up getting the 2015 Toyota Highlander XLE AWD. Like in the movie the "Godfather", Tony Hua made us an offer that we could not refuse! I was looking both Honda Accord and Toyota Camry... and I have to say Toyota Camry won due to a new car buying experience. Mr. Hess from Longo Toyota was professional and communicated with me via emails with honesty and direct answers. I did not have to haggle with the price and he honored it until the end. Absolutely the easiest and most enjoyable experience I have had (and I've had many) buying a car. My sales-professional was Matt Saint and you couldn't possibly get a more proficient, honest, forthright and friendly person to guide you through the process. There are many Toyota Dealerships in the Southern California region and I visited at least 7 of them looking for a used 4Runner. I ultimately went with a brand new (2014) because Matt showed me how all of my requirements for a Toyota SUV were easily met by the 2014 and at a price that COULD NOT be beaten. Brian Lee in Finance was also a straight shooter who had my usually laborious paperwork and product pitches session completed in less than 20 minutes!!!! That was a first. Thank you so very, very much for the experience and my beautiful new 4Runner. I look forward to doing it again at Longo when the time comes.

Day 1 of my visit to Longo Toyota on 7/6/14.I do regret to give a 1 star review from my visit yesterday. Here's my experience. Yesterday (7/6/14) my wife and I walked into Longo, went up to the receptionist area, and told them we were looking for a Camry. It didn't seem too busy and we were quickly met a salesman who I believe his name was Danny Choi. Told him that we were looking for a 2014.5 Camry SE Magnetic Gray. We drove into the parking garage and were shown the car. I believe that MSRP was $24,875 with $500 alarm that can be taken off. It was new with only 4 miles. We test drove it and it was nice. After we got back they ran our credit (810/820) and we did qualify for the 0% APR at 60 months and as low as $0 down. I prepared myself by reading articles on how to buy a car and how to deal with the finance guy. Im on car forums and see prices people paid out the door. I do take into consideration that they have different tax rates and fees. Here are my numbers of what I consider a good deal. Keep in mind that this shape Camry will be discontinued in 1-2 months and I think dealers would want to rush these out the door. Camry SE with MSRP $24,875under 20K OTD: Great deal. Maybe people with cash and hook ups with salesman friends, black book pricing?20-21k : good deal21-22k : fair deal22k+: good deal for Longo and $ for salesman22,700: internet sales out the door priceSo it is my first time buying a new car. When it got to negotiating I threw out a price. I know it was lowballing because negotiating is meeting in the middle right? Keep in mind I already had an online Longo internet quote for $20.388.88 plus LA taxes so $22,726.83 OTD. I had to beat this price. Heres how I would presume the negotiation would go in my head and that we would meet in the middle somewhere:Me: $17,000 OTDsalesman: 24Me: 18salesman: 23Me: 19salesman: 22Me: 20 firmsalesman: 21 firmMe: 20,500 and we have a dealSO HERES HOW IT WENT: I told him I wanted it for $17,000 OTD. Thank you for not laughing at my low ball offer. Danny Choi remained professional. He said that was too low, it's a 9K difference. I eventually said how about 20K OTD. He still did not come back at me with any lowered price from MSRP. He just said that price was too low and he can do 22k plus tax and fees. I mean after test drive and running our credit, you would think we were serious right? I told him I've seen Camry's offered around this price on sale at other dealers (i.e. Claremont Toyota $19,388 before tax w/ $1,500 cash back i think.). I've gotten Truecar quotes for 19,750 before tax (Moss Bros Moreno Valley) and 20,050 before tax (Manhattan Beach Toyota). When you get to the Truecar dealer, I read that they commonly claim that it is missing items and cannot honor the price. Sounds believable. Anyway he told me to go buy them there because they can't sell them for that price here. I'm really not promoting Claremont or Moss Bros. Look at their Yelp reviews to see for yourself. I gave a 20K OTD price. And 20K plus taxes and fees are probably $22K at the truecar dealers. There was a 2K negotiating window and he still didn't give me a lower price and we could start haggling. He just didn't provide me a lower price on paper so we could haggle back and forth and sent us on our way. I mean 20K OTD with MSRP 25K is a 20% discount which was my target price. I did not print out any of these offers. I guess I should have? After leaving, it was very confusing for us and we're trying to reflect on what happened. We could not get a deal with the largest dealer in the US. A dealer that can easily beat other dealers. He did not even come back at me with a lower OTD price. He did not even go to his bosses to get a price. HE LET US LEAVE SO EASILY. TALK ABOUT NO PRESSURE!!! NOT EVEN A BUSINESS CARD. NOT EVEN A THANK YOU OR GOODBYE HANDSHAKE. I can only come out to believe that they didn't want to sell me a car and would want to sell it to other people with lower credit so that they can charge APR and make money on that. Also it was 7/6/14 and not the end of the month. Maybe that's why they're under no pressure to sell. Maybe they want to sell to un-informed people. Toyota has ended the month of June 2014 with best ever sales.BTW, My sister got her car new here 9 years ago. It was a new 2005 Camry LE with MSRP of $22,500 and was purchased for cash out the door at $18k even. Thats a 20% discount. UPDATE: 2nd visit to longo on 7/7/14 a day later. It's the last day to get the 0% APRSo it's 7/7/14 after work around 5pm. I called, asked for someone in new car sales, and was transferred to Kevin Lai and I told him about yesterday and he seemed understanding. He was able to look up my info and see who my salesman was, Danny. Danny probably put in a summary report on me. Kevin told me to come in and they will try to work out the price, so I made an appt with him between 7-8pm. I don't know why I was going to meet Kevin Lai since he's a portfolio manager in the Business Development team. Got there at 6:55pm. Waited until 7:10pm. Baltazar Olmos met with us because Kevin was off already. So Bal introduces himself and says give him 5 minutes while he finishes up something. Comes back 10 minutes later and we're at his desk, this time on the right side of the dealership. We could see the managers deal or no deal room. It had a giant number of 877 on top and 1200 on the bottom. My guess is they have sold 877 new and used cars so far 7 days into July and a target of 1200 for the month of July. Seems to me that so far they're on target to pass the 1,200 sales mark for July. This means less leverage/negotiation room for buyers and more power to the salesman.So I start with an offer of 21K out the door. He says thats too low. I tell him to take it to his boss. He goes to the "deal or no deal room" and Bal and Danny talk it up for a while. I believe theyre talking to Jeffery Yip also. Bal and Danny are in that room talking longer than the time we spent with Danny in total yesterday. Then Bal comes out with an offer of 23 something OTD. I told him that was too high. Then he says my manager didnt like your yelp review you put up. DUN DUN DUN!. Yes but I came back to try and work things out. I move to 21,500. He comes back and says 23,980. I say 22k. He comes back and says 22980. I say 22500 is my final offer. He comes back and actually somehow it increased to something like 23300 I think. Their internet sales gave me a price of 22,726 OTD and Bal couldnt even beat that. We walked away at 8pm. I believe we were income discriminated and now I am blacklisted now from the dealership. Thats ok. I have blacklisted you too. Afterwards, my wife asked me why did you want to go to Longo again after we couldnt get a deal the first time? I wanted to go because we both have had friends and family that have bought here. In my head believed in Longo. I had idolized Longo. I used to buy parts from there, check out the cars, and told myself one day I would buy from Longo. So we went again. After that ended it was 8pm and we headed to Claremont Toyota to look at their $19,388 Camry SE special. MSRP window sticker says $24,875 from Wonderies Toyota. It turns out that there's a mandatory $995 "PURSUIT" alarm that is not found on the window sticker. It cannot be removed. It was not said over the phone. Just the usual just come in. So we went in and the total OTD price was $22,500.55. I did not buy because I felt their PURSUIT mandatory alarm was non-negotiable and the fact that they did not mention this $1,000 alarm made them look deceitful. Learn from my mistake. I feel really bad I had to put my wife through this. Listen to your wife, because she is 99.999% right. I probably got her black listed too. Get OTD prices from dealers. Test drive the car. Do not let them run your credit. Discuss OTD price, then do credit check with financing. After they ran our credit they probably put me in the can very afford it range of 22k+.I believe some people will get good deals at Longo. Longo and I just didnt work out.I dont know why Im tearing up writing this. Im glad Longo didnt take my $22,500 offer and Im blown away by Claremonts easy out the door $22,500.55 deal that includes a stupid 1k alarm.The bad guys that I am calling out:Guy in the 'deal or no deal' room. Be careful if you are considering a ToyotaI got ripped off by Longo, and Toyota.I bought a Yarris in 2010 during the heat of the recall. One of the worst recalls in Automobile History. Why? I felt that since I had owned Toyota's before I could trust them to do what was right if i had a problem with the car I was to purchase. I wanted to support them, and knew they have/had a great history in making great cars.All was well until 2014, Toyota Lied to me..and ripped me off.. Their dishonesty, laziness, and incompetence cost me over $2000 in costs for items stolen, taxi, rental car etc. plus damage to my vehicle . I don't yet have an estimate to repair the damage, yet but will do so soon.When I called Toyota and asked for help..they said I was a ONE car Owner and thus unimportant to them. They said if I owned a fleet of cars, or perhaps a city looking to buy a lot of cars, or trucks they would assist me. But since they only ripped off me, one person, with one car they can afford the lose of business.I am a Veteran, and I see that Toyota is trying to exploit the Military and Veterans, with some "we support the troops" offer on their site and advertising. Abel and the entire Longo team made purchasing my first car on my own an outstanding experience. I was nervous and hesitant doing this on my own, but Abel and the team were extremely helpful and straight forward. They answered all of my questions, they were not pushy or aggressive and they helped me drive away in the exact car I wanted for the price I wanted. He clearly explained everything that we needed to know about the car to us and was able to negotiate an amazing price for the car. Overall the experience of finding and buying a car was enjoyable. It wasn't long and we didn't have to look around for hours to find the right car. Tony was able to get us the exact we were looking for and help us negotiate a reasonable price within a short amount of time. He was truly amazing and helpful even after purchasing the car. Thought I wait until a crisis happens to write my review. We heard some rattling in the pre-owned certified SCION we bought from Leo at Longo. We took it to another Toyota Dealer around our area, and they could not provide help us since the warranty just expired. So I emailed Leo and explained to him our situation and I figured I would not get a reply anytime soon.... TO MY SURPRISE - he called back within 5 minutes. Explained Longo has a 1 year warranty and asked us to schedule an appointment with Longo and they will look at the issue. AMAZING and AWESOME response in such a short time!!Usually the dealer/Sales will call you RIGHT back if you are interested in buying... BUT NOT LEO - he called even if there is an issue AFTER we had bought the car. Just can't believe this - and I'm pretty skeptical about Sales. Now going back to the day I bought the Scion - my wife and I drove through traffic and arrived a late (after 7 pm), but found Leo to be very pleasant and not overbearing. We just dont like pushy sales folks, and Leo is NOT in this category at all. Very easy to work with, we offered a fair price (not offensive) and we negotiated a deal that both of us were happy with. He made sure everything was completed and waited for us (for 2 hrs to go through the paper work/process) even though the dealership was closing. Just great patience and care from the first day to today (some 4 weeks later). Thanks Leo!!

I recently purchased a certified Highlander from Longo and had a great experience. Eduardo Tinoco spent a lot of time with me, and he was very knowledgeable about the cars. He wasn't pushy or impatient. He was fair in negotiating the price and came in on his day off to close the deal. He was straightforward and honest, and totally held up his end of the bargain (and even put new tires on the car.). The dealership is HUGE so we went in on a Friday morning to sign the paperwork and didn't have to wait around much. The whole experience went better than I expected. And since the dealership has so many cars, it was literally one-stop shopping.

I recently went to Longo to just look around at some Scion Tc's, Little did I know I know that I would be driving home in one soon after. Tony Hua was a great salesman! I told him what I was looking for & he took us right to the lot to show me all the ones they had. He took the time to find the car that i really wanted, explained to me the difference in models and discussed financing options available to me. The day I walked in to sign the papers, Tony had everything ready to move forward with the deal. Starting with the paperwork, he had the new car washed and even with a full tank of gas to drive off in. The most exciting part that he surprised me with, is seeing my new car sitting right out front with a big red bow! Tony was just as excited as I was being that it was my first new car! This review is for the New Car Sales at Longo. Specifically calling out our sales guy Tony Hua and his Manager Casey Kabia.Typically if you were to say you got tag teamed by the dealer it would be a bad thing, but this is not the case for the dynamic duo of Tony Hua and his manager Casey Kabia. They really made the deal happen and they were going in with a difficult hand to begin with. I happen to be at Longo this past week getting one of my Toyotos serviced (which was also a pleasant experience this time as well) and decided to go check out the new Siennas. Our family is growing and we needed to find out more about the van. We did not expect to drive off with one. Tony was available and took me and my wife to the lot where all the Siennas were and let us take our time to get in every single one walked us calmly (never rushed) through all the diff models and when we couldnt decide on color he drove a few of them side by side so we could compare. That was amazing service. We told Tony that we have a lease ending for our Lexus and we wanted to run in one car for the the Sienna and we were a few months away from lease ending and didnt want to make two car payments. He said dont worry he promised the deal will happen and it did. After he negotiated with us and his manager he also talked with the leasing manager and worked with the managers of Lexus to make the transition smooth. We worked out all the details and setup an appointment to drop off the old and in with the new the next day. I brought in my Lexus the next day and he drove us back and forth between the Lexus and Toyota to handle the return of Lexus and paperwork for Toyota. Knowing it was taking a bit longer than expected he grabbed us some water. His constant follow up to ensure we were happy with our car was also a plus. Tony made sure our new Sienna was spotless and even helped us move all the junk we had from our old car into the new. Gave us some shopping bags to boot. I highly recommend Tony Hua. We have bought 3 cars in the past 4 years, 2 of them have been from Longo. This has by far been the best experience we have ever had in buying a new car in the last 10 years! When he promised the deal is going to happen it did. He said I wont be wasting your time if it wasnt going to happen. He promised and he delivered. We walked in with just wanting to find out more about the car and ended up buying it. He really made it really easy not to say no in a good way. We started negotiating for the car and I had already set in my mind that I was not going to take the car if it was $1 more than I had in mind. Tony went back to his manager a couple times before he was finally able to get me the car for what I asked for. Tony was a great salesman to deal with and kept his cool the entire time and hooked me up with a good deal. I will recommend Tony to others and will come back to him for next car.

What can I say about this dealership. They've obviously been the number one Toyota dealership for this many years for a reason and I found out first hand why. I definitely got a five star treatment here. My salesman, Neil Polzin was amazing. He went above and beyond the call of duty to help me out.I have less than stellar credit and needed a car bad. I also couldn't afford to much down. For a month Neil and I went back and fourth trying to find the perfect vehicle and fit for my finances. He came totally came through for me. I was able to walk out with an amazing car. He also knew so much about the car itself, that I don't think I even need to read a manual or anything. I recently went to Longo Toyota looking for a brand new RAV4 and was lucky enough to meet Tony. Tony was wonderful to work with. I normally hate car shopping and have encountered a few terrible encounters in the past where the sales associate kept promising me one thing only to not be able to deliver, but Tony was very straightforward and helpful. He was extremely attentive and explained himself very well. He was able to address all of my family's questions and concerns. This is by far my best car shopping experience. I would highly recommend my friends and family to him if they are ever interested in purchasing a new car.

From the start, Abel was as friendly a salesman as I've come across. He didn't come across like many other used car salesman. He listened to what I wanted and was very knowledgeable about the cars I was asking about. Throughout the entire process, if I had any questions up, he would explain everything very clearly and would double-check to make sure I understood everything, from car maintenance to financing. If I had to buy a car again, I'd go back to see him in a heartbeat.

I am writing this review to compliment Fred Williams and Godwin Hui at Longo Toyota in El Monte. I normally hate the car buying experience, but last week I had what had to be one of the best experiences in my 60+ years. We live in San Diego which is over 100 miles from Longo, but my wife and I had a specific used car in mind and finally found one that we thought was what we were looking for at Longo. I called the dealership and was connected to Fred. I asked if the vehicle was still available as I did not want to drive that distance for nothing. Fred said that it was but someone was taking a test drive at that moment, and that he would call me to let me know the outcome. He called me a short time later and said that the other folks had not taken the car and it was available. I told him I would be in later that day but if it moved in the mean time please call me. We finally got there a few hours later and after I parked we spotted car we were after and started to look it over. I then called his number and he came right out. Let me say that Longo's other sales people made a good impression since no sales person came charging over to pressure us while we were looking at the vehicle. Fred showed us the car and we took a test drive. We showed him the vehicle we intended to trade in, then we went inside to discuss the sale. What impressed us most was the "no pressure" meeting, we discussed the car price and came to an agreement. He never had to "go discuss it with the manager". Then, what I thought would be a negative (the trade in price), turned out to be another positive. The used car appraiser's initial offer was lower than we expected. I showed Fred the KBB listing for our car and he went back to the appraiser and negotiated for an acceptable price. He also gave my wife and I plenty of "alone time" to talk between ourselves. Again, never any pressure, which in my experience was a car-buying first! Then it was off to the finance dept where we met Godwin Hui. Godwin went to great lengths to make the finance process as painless as possible. In our haste to leave San Diego we forgot to bring the title for our trade, so Godwin hooked us up to be able to take the car that day, and send the title back to them rather than having to drive back up from San Diego. After getting home I found a few issues I needed to discuss with Fred and Godwin, and they were just as nice and helpful after the sale as during the transaction. If we decide to buy another Toyota, we will be back at Longo

I LOVED this place ! after having gone through TWO lemons, (Im barely 20 by the way ! and one of those lemons where purchased from a "trusted honda guy" i was so done with cars ! my honda was ready to leave me stranded and i wasn't going to wait until it did to find a replacement. walking up, the place is HUGE. a GREAT selection of cars ! Cassey was AMAZING ! love this guy ! we had been to about 4 dealerships before, and being my first time financing a car, these guys were just trying to confuse me and up the price on cars but "save" me money on the interest, and they were just not helpful, didn't make me feel like they were there to help me find MY car, just like they were there to make a quick and easy buck off a college student who doesn't know better. well, needless to say, Cassey not only stayed in my budget, he found my baby for LESS than what i had told him my maximum amount was ! he was sweet, helpful, EXTREMELY patient, i cannot say how much i appreciated his help that day ! i just wish the internet department wasn't so sneaky !! i got really upset that because i applied for a loan online, one of the online department guys claimed he set up an appointment and said i was HIS. (yes, he claimed me and my sale like a piece of candy after cassey had already done all the outside work of finding my perfect match and test driving and all that. The man had indeed never set up an appointment or even called me back to tell me if i was approved or not!!) well, in the end i was able to request cassey (split commission with mr. do nothing but sit on his xxx all day long) but he was extremely helpful, and happy, and genuinely can't say how refreshing it was to have someone on MY side, after all the car problems I've had in the past. i walked out with a steal ! They had a subway, starbucks, and i believe other things there, so while my stepdad and i did the paperwork and test drove it, my mom and sister had somewhere comfortable to go. SERIOUSLY the MOST pleasant experience ! I've NEVER felt so comfortable in a dealership ! usually, they make me feel like a flounder in a sea of sharks ! THANK YOU CASSEY! & the rest of the Longo Toyota staff that did their part for me !! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!! IM totally coming back when its my sisters turn to get a car, and I'm recommending Cassey to all my friends !!

Jose was great. The whole experience was great. I was especially impressed that Jose was able to bring up service records on the used car I was interested in, so I could see exactly when the oil changes were. This information is often missing from carfax, leaving one to wonder. True, it was a Toyota certified used car, but I still wanted to see the service records, and I got my wish. I feel like I got a great car at a great price. I am very happy. They are even delivering it for free to Santa Barbara, 110 miles away. This place was a long way for me to go to buy a car, but it was worth it.

I explained to this salesman that we lived in Phoenix and wanted to buy a Prius and would pick up the vehicle on or about December 24th.We had to deliver our current car to the buyer in Los Angeles so we thought it was a good idea to buy the new car in CA so we wouldn't have to drive two cars. I visited their website and emailed them with the VIN number of the car and got a reply from the sales rep regarding price.The week before our trip to LA, I tried to confirm the price and got a short reply with a slightly reduced price. Two days before the trip I tried3 times to find out if the price included window tinting or not and also what was the document fees would be. I heard nothing from them.As a result we made the trip to LA and back and would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

My son Patrick, first time new car buyer, age 26 and I stopped at our local Manhattan Beach Toyota dealer in the morning of 11/1/13. They had the exact color and equipment 2013 Prius IV. But he wanted to return to Longo because Ruben in the used car department had spent 2 hours with him on Thursday 10/31/13 and he wanted him to get the commission.We were introduced to Rene Lawson and another salesman...After 2 1/2 hours they delivered his new waxed and filled Prius to the curb in front of the showroom and gave him the keys and shook his hand, even helped take his picture with his 1st new car! Then came "THE BAIT AND SWITCH" five minutes later, he came back out and took the key saying it was the wrong car, 2014 not 2013 same price no financing available.Then they demanded $2000 DEPOSIT they said was Toyota Finance Dept. rules for 1st time buyers.Then they said they didn't have the car and tried to UPSELL a loaded car he didn't want. Rene offered to transfer a car in another day and deliver it. My son said to her, "I feel like I have been DEALING WITH A TYPICAL USED CAR LOT GAME" She said, "that's harsh" he said,"YOU BAIT AND SWITCHED CARS, TRIED TO GET A $2000 DEPOSIT NOT NECESSARY, AND TRIED TO UPSELL ME A CAR I DIDN'T WANT"! I've visited three other different Toyota dealerships (Carson, Miller, Downtown) and have gone through the entire process. This was the best experience I've had. I went in with a certain expectation of what I would get and how much I would pay. I came in with a trade-in, which I knew would limit my ability to negotiate. Still, Andy Luu was able to get me a deal that I felt was fair much quicker than any of the other dealerships I mentioned above. By far my best experience at a Toyota dealership.

This branch was referred to me by my boss. He was in contact w/ Steven Hess prior to my visit at the dealership which he was provided of several quote of cars that I would be qualified for. Went there yesterday, 8/30/13. He was friendly at the beginning. After the whole process of filling out forms, seeing a car, test driving and appraising my trade in, his demeanor changed at the time of getting certain quotes online which was completely totally different from what he initially provided...to the extent that I was directly called "stupid" of answering a phone call who was my boss who by the way was the one that referred me to Longo Toyota. Steven Hess never disclosed the appraised value of my trade in, declined to provide me any written quotes and/or terms of what I am qualified for nor he has given me options to my satisfaction as a prospect buyer. After being disrespected the way I did, I decided to leave. So, today 9/1/13 got an email from Steven Hess wanting to know if I would proceed in buying the car if he would be able to give the initial quote that he provided...so what changed from the day before I went, to the day i came in and the day after i left? Steven Hess is a scam who see hard working prospect buyers as "$" signs for him. He's not working to help prospects like me. To any future clients of Longo Toyota...be aware of STEVEN HESS.

Isaac Banos is a primary example of why Longo Toyota of El Monte is ranked #1 in the world in Toyota New and Used Car Sales and is the world's largest dealership. These guys are professionals at what they do. Call them salesmen or not but I am surprised that I am another customer in their books. It all started when I wanted to trade in my current vehicle (a 2003 infiniti G35). I submitted a trade in offer on Kelley Blue Book (kbb.com) and Longo Toyota was the only dealership to call me immediately. Although at first they made it seem like they wanted to buy my vehicle but I knew it was a sales tactic to get me to trade and buy one of theirs. As a primary rule of sales, I do want to buy, you gotta listen and convince me. I was assigned Isaac as my sales guy and I came in with the intention of buying an AWD Toyota Venza (also had a Nissan Maxima) as my alternative choice. These of course were vehicles I've always "WANTED" but not necessarily "NEEDED". They did not have the AWD version in stock so Isaac made me test drive an Acura MDX. Very nice vehicle indeed but out of my budget. The night ended with him steering me to a PRIUS. I notice the prices on the PRIUS were now affordable due to the influx of inventory coming in from leases. It was also the latest 3rd Generation Prius. I test drove it and it immediately hit me, that gas mileage is #1 in my list of needs. The amount of commuting I do makes this vehicle very practical. I test drove a Prius IV (1 below the full package V) and I loved how it was quite full of amenities inside such as leather seats, a navigation system, rear back up camera, etc.. However, I still was not sold because it was not a toyota certified pre-owned (100k warranty) and therefore, also did not qualify for a low rate financing option. However, the next day, I went on their website and stumbled upon a Prius V that was a Toyota Certified Pre Owned and it was the full package deal with HID lighting, fog lights, JBL sound system, Allow Wheels and tuned suspension as additional perks. I immediately contacted Isaac and told him this is what I wanted. Isaac closed the deal smoothly by contacting my current lender for the payoff, getting me pre-approved for the 1.9% rate I wanted and getting in and out the next day. Just wanted to say Thanks for steering me to a car that made "cents!".

After a bad experience at Keyes Toyota in Van Nuys, my family and I were extremely relieved when we entered the Longo Toyota dealership. Once we entered the facility, we could tell from the atmosphere that this car dealership was different. As the #1 Toyota dealership in the world, they have an enormous selection of vehicles in all models and vehicles. Tony Hua made my first new car buying experience stress free and enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful to me and my family. He really helped me understand the new car buying process in addition to giving me an unbeatable price. He made sure to ask that I was a new grad (graduated in the past 2 years) to get an additional Toyota discount. He went through all the warranties I had on my car told me when I should come in for service. After I recieved my car, Tony showed me all the features of the vehicle. I did not even have to tell him that I am a crazy instagrammer for him to offer to take a picture of me with my new car after everything was done. You can tell that Tony really cares about his customers and wants the best for them. I am now home and very happy with my new Prius.

Our ten-year-old Sienna minivan was in need of major repairs so we went to Longo on a Saturday morning at a very busy time in our lives. The dealership was crowded with customers and we needed to wait 15 minutes for an available sales rep. Sales Rep Tony Hua was straight-forward and efficient in showing us the 2013 Camry we were looking for. We told him my husband needed to get to work and he guided us through the purchasing (with trade-in) process in under 3 hours. Tony demonstrated a lot of repsect for my husband's schedule. We were happy to be able to eat lunch and have a Starbucks while we waited for the paperwork to be drawn up. Tony helped synch my Android phone to the blu tooth system in the Camry. I am very happy with the car and the entire experience. We live in the LAX area but Longo is worth the drive.

I went into Longo Toyota to have my 2010 tundra crew max front seats looked at. The passenger side air bag senor was not working and kept blinking to fasten the seat belt and the fabric to the driver side was pulling away from the seat as well as it squeaking. I explained to the service rep that about 2 weeks ago I found a screw and plastic piece by the driver side door and that every time you go up a driveway or go over speed bumps or bumpy road the chair squeaks. Just finding the screw, plastic piece and the fabric pulling away from the chair the chair is defective and the truck is still under warranty so replace the whole chair. The service rep said they have to have the district parts manager look at it and see what he wants to do replace it or fix it. They decided to fix it. I wish they would have replaced it like they did when I had the 07 tundra. I gave them the benefit of the doubt to fix it and thought maybe the screw had to do with why the chair was squeaking. I advised the service rep that I bought the running boards for this truck so I would have this problem. Even showed the service rep how I entered and exited the truck and he agreed that the chair should not be doing this or having this problem. I also mentioned that this was the 2nd tundra crew max I purchased and the first one had the same issue but I didn't have running boards for that 07 tundra. this makes me question the quality of automobiles Toyota put out having 2 truck with the same problem. What pissed me off is that the technician could not replicate the squeakiness. How can you not replicate it makes the noise every time you go over bumps speed bumps or go up driveways. Even if they couldn't replicate it, it is obvious the chair is defective the broken pieces falling off the chair, fabric pulling away and its still under warranty replace it. But they didn't do that, so now I have to deal with a squeaky chair that every time I go over a speed bump or bumpy road I hear the squeak. This pisses me off I worked hard to by this truck and to have this going on with a new truck it is BS. Everyone that knows me knows I am very meticulous about my truck and nothing better be wrong with it, I take care of it. I spoke highly of Longo Toyota and referred many people to purchase cars from Longo Toyota and that Toyota puts out a reputable automobile and guarantee's there automobiles due to how I was treated. Within my whole family we own 10 Toyota automobiles. The last 2 tundras I have had and having the same problem makes me question what type of product Toyota is putting out and if I should trade this one in for another type of truck from another dealer and not a Toyota at all. After I Finish paying this truck off I don't think I will buy another Toyota Tundra if they give me a hard time about a squeaky chair under warranty. They only way I will keep this tundra and continue buying Toyota's if they honor replacing the seat and honor that they back the automobiles and being a superior automobile manufacture.

Ask for Tony Hua. This was honestly the most effortless transaction ever. I'm not into the bargaining and spending hours at a dealership, Tony really made the car buying experience a positive one. Tony is really kind, personable, understanding and gives great deals. He is really straightforward and will do whatever he can to help out. I always shop around before I buy anything and Longo Toyota and Tony gave me a price that I just couldn't walk away from. I went to Wondries through a referral and they still gave me a unreasonable price and I really did not like the the salesperson that I was working with. If you are price shopping, don't even bother wasting your time at Wondries.

Alex Liukemson is an extremely rood and disrespectful sales man. I wanted to select a model from Camry for my business and purchase 6 of those. I thought Longo have a better selection then any other place, but changed my mind after very unpleasant experience with old and slow man. Language barrier is the biggest concern of mine. He did not allow me to talk to another sales. I would never recommend this place , very crowded and nervous.

Sales associate not knowledgeable. I was at the dealership for 95 minutes before a ridiculous offer was presented. I drove for over an hour to get to Longo, as I was assured on the telephone that I had an appointment with a senior assistant manager. 20 min. after my scheduled time, I was finally given to one of your least experienced salesman. After selecting the vehicle (20 min.) I waited for over an hour for the offer. I was told that was the best they could do. $400 off sticker? When I said that was unsatisfactory, the salesman had me wait another 30 min. with another offer. I thought the first offer was the "best" Longo could do. At that point, I was tired of waiting and disgusted, so I left. Perhaps those sales techniques are successful for you, but, for me, it was a waste of time and effort. I researched the price I should have been offered, through other Tundra owners (customers at my restaurant) and my neighbor-former CEO of Valley-Hi Toyota- and was willing to pay something at least close to reasonable, but was never given the opportunity. Coming into contact with 100's of my own customers every day, I would never think to treat them as I was treated. Believe me, I am always asked about good experiences at the retail level, and rest assured Longo will not be one of them.D. Fetters

My co-worker suggested I stop by Longo since I was in the market for a Prius. I was hesitant because of my past experiences with dealerships. My last purchase was through my credit union autoland and I though that was easy.This time I wanted to lease. So I made an appointment with Alex Liukimson for noon on a Saturday. By 3pm, I had the car I wanted and at the monthly payment I wanted. Alex gave me a good price on my trade-in. He was very professional and a pretty funny guy. When my lease is up, Alex will be getting a phone call from me. Their finance department was courteous too.

I would like to take the time to personally thank Joseph in Finance and Neil in used car sales. I was able to walk off the lot with my dream car a used 2010 Venza. This car has all the bells and whistles! Neil took his time with us being that had my two you children who were very impatient. This was the most pleasant experience in the purchase of a car I have ever encountered and it started with Steven Hess. I basically knew what I was looking for; however, Steven showed me every Venza he had on the lot just to be sure. The basic price was the best in Southern California (even beat Costco pricing) and the money that I got for my trade-in was fair and accurate (I had done my homework). The folks that handled the actual financial transaction were friendly and professional and everything was completed in a timely manner. We were even offered Starbucks coffee while we waited for them to evaluate our trade-in and get the paperwork going.The most amazing thing of all is the after purchase follow-up from Longo. The experience I had at Longo Toyota is worth noting in the best of ways. I had been searching for a used Highlander for weeks, running into some of the worst pit vipers out there. From the moment I contacted Longo (through my AAA membership), I was put in touch with JJ Lee. JJ's professionalism and personal attention was a ray of hope from the poor service and arrogant salesman I had been dealing with for the past few weeks. If you plan on buying a toyota, you must go to Longo they have the biggest selection of cars I have ever seen, if you can't find the one you are looking for at Longo it probably does not exist. If you have to drive a little extra to get there it will be worth, just ask for Alex and he will take care of you.

I was ery impressed when he took over4 hrs to work on a deal that was best for me. he made my family and i feel safe and somfortable with the decision that i was making. he worked hard to get me not only the best car but the best deal. we had explained to him that we went to a different toyota dealer and did not even make an effort. now i know why Longo Toyota is number 1. we drove from palmdale ca to el monte and it was all worth the drive and the experiene. that you henry and toyota for this great opportunity and great experience.

This is the first time I have ever rated a dealership. Over the last decade I usually buy cars from eBay. My sister convinced me to look for a local dealer. I went to 3 Toyota dealerships and was dismayed by the lack of inventory and pride of profession. Just as I was deciding to go back to buying from eBay, one of the other dealers recommended Longo Toyota as he put it their large inventory.I met Adam Chi and knew right away I had found my dealership. He was knowledgeable courteous and professional. By the end of my second visit, I bought a Hybrid XLE Camry for myself, a Limited Highlander for my Wife, and a Limited Rav4 for my Niece. All at my price. Grace Shei recommended extended warranties at reasonable prices and the manager Aarom Misajon made the purchase easy. You would think the other dealers would have wanted by business seeing that I was buying multiple cars but for some reason they were more interested in selling me what I did not want.First experience at Longo, a lasting experience. Andy was very professional and knowledgeable; he answered all our questions in both Cantonese and English. He also made purchasing the vehicle fun, because he offered to give his Longo Toyota shirt as part of the deal. My husband and I felt that Andy was trying to give us the best possible deal. Bought a car last week, to my surprise the car was changed three times. The excuse, "THE COMPUTER" did this... It looked as 'bait and switch' to me. The car I had chosen was app. $90.00 more, but since I was wearing "my moron of the day hat" I just left with a car the computer chose for me. The one for less $.I am sure I will encounter more problems for the financing. Maybe the computer will charge me 19% interested rather than the 2.9%.I wasted almost two hours waiting for all three cars to be washed. This is not the fault of the salesman, he was very understanding, the bad is in the Finance dept. the manager thinks all customers are stupid! The man that finalized the purchase was quite rude to say the list. I'm sure that he did like that I did not to buy the Overpriced items they like to push. Like the $100.00 alarm for $1000.00. I have owned Toyotas since 1975, our family has bought at least 60 Toyotas since. Will I buy from Longo again? NO!! Buyer be aware, Longo is no longer honest as in the past. "I doubt and refuse to believe that it was the computers" Lets not forget that employees are a reflection of management!

My wife and I recently purchased a new 2011 Toyota Prius. Our experience at Longo was top notch, and in particular, Jules "JJ" Lee and Ali Adnan were fantastic. They were friendly, honest, and worked hard to find the right car and the right price. We never once felt rushed, stressed, or felt like we were being upsold on things we didn't want or need. If you are someone who doesn't relish the thought of buying a car because of past negative experiences, I would highly recommend making a visit to Longo, and specifically ask for JJ and Ali. They are top notch guys who will make you feel taken care of and not in some false "salesman"-ish manner. As a first time Longo customer, I was very impressed with the facilities and the convenience of not only having a Starbucks and Subway on the premises, but having a Triple A office saved me a lot of time and hassle. The whole process, from start to finish, was great, a real 5 star experience.

My parents are looking for a car for my brother who's in college and decided to go car shopping today. This dealership is very friendly! The salesman that helped us was named Andy, he was very informative and helpful in our decision in which vehicle to buy today. We ended up going home with a Toyota Camry this afternoon and we are very happy with it! Andy also helped us out with a great deal and financing offer. This dealership also had a variety of cars available; I know some dealerships either don't have enough colors or options in the lot but this one had the colors I wanted to see. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a Toyota! Staff was friendly and helpful as well a great selection of vehicles!

We bought a 2011 Highlander SE from Paul Leung of the Internet Sales Dept. Even though we dropped in unannounced, he was very pleasant and helpful in showing us the colors we were interested in. In fact, everyone we came across was friendly. The reception desk was was helpful and offered us any brochures we wanted while waiting for Paul to join us. We got a no hassle, no pressure deal from him. We'd done a ton of research prior to our visit and got a price that we are very happy with. Paul made it a smooth, enjoyable experience. Longo is a huge dealership and if you're looking for inventory, it's the place to go.

My boyfriend bought a Tundra at Longo Toyota about 8 years ago from Fred Williams and was very pleased with the experience. About a month ago we decided on getting a new car for me, when we learned that Fred was still at Longo Toyota, we did not hesitate to return. We were not disappointed, he was AMAZING!! Having never bought a new car myself, I was dreading the thought of dealing with the back and forth of negotiating, you hear about from so many other dealerships. This was not the case at all. He listened to what "WE" wanted, not what "HE" wanted to sell us. He kept us in the loop as we were waiting for our specific car to come in. The office was nice and very welcoming. Even the Financing Dept made our experience enjoyable, which is not always the case. I would without a doubt return to Longo, and Fred.

Joanne Hamilton is amazing when it comes to customer service. she always greets me with a "Hey, Dirk! how are you!" you dont get that many places.Unfortunately, they let Tom Ryan go. after 23+ years. Bad Decision. Very, VERY bad. When you've had 1 (yep, count'em ONE) service advisor for 20+ years, that you've recommended to all of your toyota owning friends (and passed cards out for), it's quite disappointing to find him gone. Especially when, in those same 20 years, you've tried other advisors at Longo when he's been on vacation, and things just didnt get done right, or on time.I may go back to see how other advisors are, but that remains to be seen. i have already gone to the dealership (15 or so miles out of the way) that Tom went to work for for my basic service.To add insult to injury, about this same time, Penske took over the starbucks in the dealership. (it used to be a corporate starbucks) More problems. i ordered a simple drink--a caramel apple spice (grande' size, with no whipped cream.) i opened it to add a splenda...and noticed that the level of the drink was about an inch to an inch and a half from the top. ummm...you dont add "room for cram in an apple cider drink (even coffee you leave about a half inch max.) instead of using the standard issue starbucks lids, they cheaped out and use a generic "Dart" brand lid...nice going...it leaked all over my shifter while i was driving...that NEVER happens with the starbucks supplied lids. yep, they likely cost more...but they dont leak. (i've had the same experience twice--just to make sure it wasn't a fluke) me thinks they should have left running a starbucks to people that know how to run a starbucks.Things just ain't the same at longo anymore...sad.

Took my car in for a dynastic test ($110.00). Explained that I heard a noise, so mechanic took it out on a test drive, confirmed the noise. Got back to the dealership, I had them open the hood and explained that the noise might me coming from the left side. Left my car at 7:30 AM. At 1:00 the service manager called and confirmed that the noise was coming from the cracked cover I had pointed out. But did not know for sure that the noise was going to stop.I told the service manager that I would call him back. REMEMBER I HAS TAKEN MY CAR IN FOR A DYNASTIC TEST I called a different Toyota dealer and they gave me more information just over the phone in regards to replacing the part (cover).I than called back and talked to the service manager and mentioned that the engine light was on over the weekend. The service manager said he would check it out. Here it is after 1:00 in the afternoon 5:30 hours later what happen to the dynastic test that was supposed to be done, that was the purpose of my service appointment. Guess what now it's another issue a over $1200.00 problem. I than asked for the results of my test but have been getting the round around. All I want are my dynastic test results.BAD SERVICE....CAN'T TRUST THEM...OVER CHARGE....AND CAN'T GET TEST RESULTS ON YOUR OWN CAR...WHY WHY WHY

I was having some problems with my truck and I wasn't satisfied with the results from the initial diagnosis & service performed by Longo. Jose Uribe, Service Manager, stepped in & got personally involved. He even got a Toyota Rep. involved. I gotta say, I was caught off-guard by his hands-on approach & follow-up throughout the process. Very impressive. He even reimbursed my car rental fee. Thanks Jose! Gonna visit parts dept. for some accessories.If you ever have a reasonable problem with Longo service, I'm sure Jose will strive to make things right & keep you a happy customer.Jose, I was never gonna do biz with Longo Service Dept. again. I purchased a Scion XB and three days later brought it in due to problems with the hood. The sevice department looked at it and said it was not a warranty problem and referred me to their body shop. A technician looked at it and fixed it within 15 minutes, no charge.

I just buy the Carmy 2011 ,only 1200 miles , i think it has transmittion problem when i bring it, and the service technical person come out to check the car, he said car normal , and second day he call me that he has to change the transmittion or fix something in my car . After they fix the car, i pick up the same day, the problem is still the same, no change, I bring back for next day, they said the car is fine, even without to test drive my car, I'm very upset and disappiont the service from them. they said they need to wait for the regional manager on thursday to follow up the car or let him to check it again.What kind of service you provide from Longo Toyota? While bringing in my vehicle for service I was visited by a service guest relations Joanne Hamilton. She sat me down to talk to me and ask about the service, the work done on my car, and friendliness of staff. I explained to her that I have been coming here for years, because I believe to find this dealership honest. I do believe that the ones whom are here the longest though are the most honest. I have seen many service teams here and many of them are nice and honest, those whom are not up to par are taken off the team, which is why I find this dealership to be very good. Lies are not tolerated among the dealership's employees. If I had any problems in the past I have talked to guest relations and everything was taken care of well.

On 06/26/10 I had an appointment at 1230pm to service my 2007 yaris; I was told it will be ready at 4pm.The car was not ready until 425pm . Before I paid I asked the service advisor if the maintenance button has been reset he replied yes. I went outside and waited until 440pm to get the car and sure enough when I started the engine the light was flashing and was not reset. The car had to go go back to be taken care of and it was returned 5 minutes later. The car was not ready on the promised time and what upset me is I asked about the light and was told yes it was reset when it was not. I drove from Orange county got there on time and waited 4 hours and your employees did not perform their jobs as they were suppose to.I had another incident with your people on 12/21/2009 when I took the same car for service and the technician did not fasten the caps and the car was making a noise and I did call you and spoke to you about it.It looks like it is a continuous issue with your service department and negligence is an issue and form last December it does not look like it is fixed and if it is happening to my car I am sure it is happening to others.What will you do if it happened to you ?I bought three cars from your dealership in 2005 and 2007. I have had a long relationship with Longo Toyota. I bought my Prius there in 2003 and have had all my maintenance done at Longo. I have almost always had exceptional service. Today though even this great service was exceeded! I had an appointment for service and met with the service rep I was assigned to. I had a small concern about that rep and brought it to the attention of Young Tea. WOW! From that moment on I got the best customer service ever! Young kept me informed about the status of my car and even personally inspected the car after it was detailed.Thanks so much to Longo, Joanne Hamilton to whom I also spoke and especially to the star of this service show - Young Tea!

The sales writers were very professional and helpful and I especially remember a woman, Joanne Hamilton. she was professional, friendly, courteous and I was very pleased with her making every effort to make sure I was happy with my service. Longo Toyota has been my best auto service experience of any and all dealerships I've dealt with! My wife and I bought a new Sienna and came for service here. The employees couldn't be nicer, and the service quality was great! Our rep was Alex Perez. He was great and thorough. We had a long and pleasant talk with Joanne Hamilton in the lobby while enjoying the amenities provided there. Overall, just a great and positive experience at Longo. We will recommend them to all our friends and family. (I am writing this rating and checking my email in the internet-ready waiting room they have provided while they service our vehicle. Brought in my 04 Tacoma 4x2 for an oil service, tire rotation and chips on my windshield to be filled in. I informed Rob McGuire that my budget is a little tight due to the fact that I lost my job a few months back. Rob made sure that I had the services that I needed and issued me a discount.Just so happened that another 300+ Toyota owners decided to service their cars on the same day. The employees that work for Longo Toyota are all professional and courteous. We purchased our 2010 xB at Longo Scion in El Monte, CA. We actually live in the Bay Area (northern Cali), but at the time we were looking, none of the dealers here had a manual in silver. Our purchasing experience at Longo was extremely pleasant and they really made me feel that they earned our business. When I called Longo Scion, I spoke with Richard Meraz who actually walked up to their lot (actually a parking structure) to see the xB with his very eyes. He told me if there were any options installed and how many miles exactly the car had (4 miles). He was a no nonsense, no pressure kinda guy which actually motivated me to continue working with him. As he knew I was driving down and would drive back up right away, he offered to have the service guys install the stereo and the hubcap design I wanted already and ready for my test drive. Paperwork was a breeze and the trip to the finance department was a pain-free and pressure-free experience. Any decent sales associate can be friendly (just to make the sale), but it was the little details, the many little things that Richard did for us that made our purchasing experience at Longo Scion the best we've had yet. He really is a 'model' sales associate.

I purchased a 2004 Sequoia in late 2009, and my 3 month warranty was about to expire, the service area was able to repair the concerns at no cost to me. The shuttle service was great, they shuttled me to work and they picked me up when my car was ready. Thanks Joanne for the effort to get me back on time.

excellent service dept., Tom Ryan will do his best to work within your budget. he "gets" customer service. i've been taking my cars to him for 20 years.Joanne is also very helpful. i had to have my truck towed in after hours, and she was still there, and took care to get it placed properly to be seen, and the repairt cost less than the quoted price..Longo is THE gold standard.

I have just bought my car - August 2009 - and so far all of my experiences have been great. This is my first scheduled service. We bought our car during a very hectic time - Clunkers for Cash - and even though the dealership was busy we were treated very well. We went for the new owner dinner and that was nice and informative as well.My 1000 mile check up went well as well. Since I have yet to get my car back from it's first oil change I cannot report on the workmanship - but if Longo Toyota of El Monte performs as it has in the past I should be happy.

It happened again. Since my last review, history has had a chance to repeat itself. You'd think I'd have learned, wouldn't you? Here's the background I previously reported: Over twenty years of positive experience with Longo translates into a lot of whys. I bought my new Celica from Longo in 1989 and drove it for 14 years before retiring it and buying a Rav4 (Fred Williams) and have been driving it for 7 years and continuing.... That's a lot of great Customer Service that keeps me coming back, especially since I live on the West Side of LA but drive to Longo in El Monte. Mainly, it is because of Tom Ryan's long-term, outstanding help. I don't ever remember having any serious complaint about the work done under Tom's service team. On the contrary, Tom and his associates go out of their way to make sure everything is tip top with my car. In extraordinary times of financial stress, Tom helped me take care of maintenance issues one at a time. (I don't think regular car dealerships care that much about their customer's wallets.) While Tom takes care of the car, I get to to sit back, relax and enjoy Longo's accommodations which are over the top, extremely clean, friendly, serving Starbucks coffee, sometimes take you to a movie, etc. And when it's over, they even wash the car. There are two instances that were life-saving, and if it were not for Tom and his associates, great harm could have come to me. I was in an auto accident and had the body work done by a dealership in Santa Monica. Subsequently, I went to Longo for service and Tom found that the dealership failed to put a bolt back in somewhere in the front left wheel; he wrote this on the invoice. I presented the invoice to the dealership and, without question of fault, they refunded my money. On another occasion, I had my brakes repaired on the West Side and shortly thereafter I ended up at Longo with Tom telling me that the brakes were not in legal tolerance and my car was unsafe to drive. Again, he documented everything on the invoice. And, there was the time when I did have an oil change on the West Side, and even that got screwed up at another Toyota dealership. They told me that I couldn't take my car out because it was leaking too much oil! To their surprise, I called Tom hysterically and related the problem. In short, I took the car directly from there to Tom where he pronounced it healthy and not in need of any such repair. Another reason for five stars: Short of an oil change, I don't handle car problems very well. As a matter of fact, I don't handle them at all. I am the stereotype female who cannot tolerate any strange automobile noises. At the first sign of trouble, I'm ready to call Tom or 1.800.suicide prevention. Tom understands this. Over the years, I have come to trust him unequivocally and he, his associates and Longo have continuously earned all 5's (or the top numbers) in the surveys sent to me. It is with pleasure that I have the opportunity to do so again." AND HERE IT IS AGAIN! History repeating itself: You would think someone in busy service station in Marina Del Rey would know how to change a rear taillight and front left-hand signal light. Not. The the rear light bulb was replaced okay (I thought), but then the service tech and manager came out and asked me if my Rav4 had ever been in an accident. I said, NO. They said YES. And then they informed me that it was impossible to change the bulb because the housing was too fractured by a prior accident to replace it! I took the car home. I was so depressed I didn't even call Tom. Then, I was too embarrassed to call Tom. I thought I was doomed to have to stick my arm out of the car window every time I wanted to make a left turn for the rest of my life! Oh, and then one evening shortly after they replaced the rear bulb, a hysterically waiving and shouting fellow motorist approached me in my car yelling, "Hey, Lady, you don't have any any #*$% rear lights. Now, where do you think they went? I had no answers. It was time to decide - either call Tom or risk great bodily harm to self and/or others. I didn't want him to know that I hadn't learned my lesson(s) well. I said to God, "It was only a light bulb, a frick'in light bulb, couldn't they have changed just a frick'ng light bulb w/o screwing up?" Obviously, the answer was, "No." So, I called Tom, drove to Longo, he knelt down in front of the car, tighten something, and said, It's fixed." Later he told me the rear lights had been shorted out, and he fixed that, too. I hope this is the last time I have to learn not just anybody can change a light bulb.....GB

What I appreciate the most is the honesty of the their employees whether it be price, time of completion or plain old necessity of items that need replacement or not: Than you for your HONESTY, it's refreshing. I like bringing my kids to Longo because the facility accommodates for that, "Thank You Joanne, your the greatest." I love catching up on work because again you facility accommodates for that with free wi-fi, "Thank you again." Longo, you've earned the title of the #1 Toyota dealer!

Although service price is higher, they will accept all competitor coupons which is great. I have come in several times and Paul LeBlanc has been very helpful. I met Joanne Hamilton today and she was very accomodating to my kids who are visiting Longo for the first time as I wait for my car.

I had my vehicle and my daughter's vehicles recently serviced. I am so pleased with your staff, specifically Frank Lorusso, Joanne (guest relations) and my mechanic, Mariano. There are many places one can choose to service their vehicle but I must say, I would NEVER trust anyone else. Longo has been my dealership for sales and services since my first purchase in 1999 (my salesman at the time was Godwin, who I understand works in the department where documents are signed at the time of purchase). Frank Lorusso is an excellent service-manager. He is honest, informative and extremely professional. Joanne (guest relations) is a delight. She is always friendly, helpful and always wears a smile. As for Mariano, what can I say? I was proud to learn that he was sent to meet Mr. Toyota in Japan. I understood that he passed various tests and with zero error (against 15,000 other technicians). With a record like that, why would I ever allow someone else to work on our vehicles? Again, thank you for employing such fine individuals. Believe me when I say, they are true assets to the Longo Family!

Like many of us when going through a new car purchase, I think we are apprehensive to say the least about car dealers because of their bad rap and stereotype. Everyone seems to have had at least one bad experience before. I know my wife and I have. When we went looking to buy a 2010 FJCruiser, we started out by hitting as many dealers as possible in the So. Cal area to see which one would respond (internet / email) with the best price and answer all our questions. Some responded, but with canned messages giving their pitch on how great they were and why we should come to them, but not many responded to our specific questions. In fact I can tell you there was only one out of about 8 dealers we checked with that provided the most accurate, honest, quick responses: Longo Toyota. The particular individual that handled our purchase was Ali Adnan; Internet Sales Manager. I can say without hesitation he was the best person we have ever dealt with at any dealership anywhere. I never once felt uncomfortable or worried about the way our purchase was being handled because Ali always took the time to answer every single question I had (there were a lot), and so Longo ended up with our business.Before, during and after the sale everyone handled our business as if we were their only customer. Top notch all the way. Kary and Evelyn (guest relations) and Quan (financing) and Young (service) were all great too. Very friendly atmosphere there and all had a willingness to help you. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new car!

I have purchased two vehicles from Longo Toyota. I purchased both vehicles due to the good purchase price and just as importantly, the great follow up service by Tom Ryan. I know that when I go to Tom, he will properly diagnose the problem, provide quality options to choose from, and ensure excellent service. I know that in the long run, getting quality advice and service will save me time and money. Tom Ryan is the only person I go to for work on our three cars, two Toyota's and a Lexus. He always treats me in a friendly manner, properly diagnoses the situation, and gives sound advice. You know you have an excellent employee when prople choose your business over all the competition based on their service. I've been a Toyota owner since late 1972. My first one was a Corona Mark II, 1972 vintage (yes, 1972, shipped over from Japan midyear), that my former husband got for practically nothing because, as a data base manager at the headquarters in Torrance, he, along with the other employees, was offered his pick of a list of cars they needed to clear out from the delivery dock up in Benecia (where we actually had to go to get the car) to make room for the 1973 models. But, after about 20 years, and with the help of my son, who put 'way too many miles on it, the trusty little car just gave out. I'd had it serviced from time to time at a dealer near my home, but felt no particular loyalty. So, in my quest for a new Toyota, I tried there first. Practically nothing on the lot, and the salespeople did not impress me. Same feeling about another dealer (this one in Glendale). No luck. That's how I ended up at Longo. And I've had no regrets since then.Fast forward to 2009. Randy James has been my service adviser for more than 16 years. Before I bought my '93 Camry at Longo, I was skeptical about Longo. I'd had a less-than-pleasing experience with two closer dealers (I live in Alhambra, CA, and Longo is about 10 miles away, albeit an easy freeway drive) whose salespeople were indifferent and whose stock was pitiful, compared with what Longo offers. And, after all, it constantly touted the claim that it was the largest dealer in the U.S. But, a former administrator at my campus had been a close friend of the Longos, and other colleagues seemed pleased with their experiences at Longo. So, I decided to give it a try. Although the sale itself was a bit high pressure, I got a wonderful car for a more-than-fair price. When I took it in for the first service. I met Randy. From that very first contact, he exuded professionalism, a wealth of knowledge, and a warm personality. Often volunteered to do little things for me that saved me money. After a few years, he was promoted to Service Manager, but I still could find him whenever I went in for service, just to visit. It was so satisfying to be remembered as an individual, not just a number with a Camry. Randy made me feel special and important. Then, disaster struck: Penske moved him to another dealership within its "kingdom," not even Toyota, and I thought that was the end. Make no mistake, the other service advisers all are very competent; I've had no problems with any of them. But, there's something about Randy. Here's how we became reacquainted. In March 2006, I was itching for a "new" Camry and found just what I wanted at Longo: a less-than-year old preowned XLE with 112 miles on the odometer! Riding on Cloud Nine. The '93 still looked like new and had only 92,500 miles (friends who bought it were thrilled), but I wanted the new one. When I took it in for its first service, I also made an appointment for the New Car Owner seminar that Longo does so well. Imagine my surprise when I drove up to the Gray Group service bank and saw the name RANDY JAMES! I was sure that he must have a son; I had no idea that he was back because he decided that SERVICE is his favorite job. Just as he'd always done, Randy found a way to do something special and save me money. (I won't divulge my secret!) And, that's how it's been every time I've taken my 2006 Camry in for service, most recently a few weeks ago. Randy seems more than content to be back in his old job because he truly cares about people and radiates enthusiasm and happiness in helping customers and keeping them happy. To quote a line from an old song: "Who could ask for anything more!"

Willy Lam actually went out of his way to satisfy his customer. He had a birthday party to go to about 20 miles away. He came back the same evening as I was not available at any other time. He dashed to his Birthday Party and returned - Just to satisfy his customer. I would rate him # 1 (Outstanding). Willy has a truly pleasant personality - easy to talk to and is a very straightforward individual. It was a pleasure to have dealt with him.

After listening to my concerns in re to my 2005 Sequoia, it was immediately taken for a test drive for a "hands on" experience. Toms customer service, communication and the Service Departments thorough inspection were professional and complete in every way, including follow-up. Again, Tom Ryan and the Service Department performed above my expectations and provided ongoing evidence that my trust and faith in Tom and the Service Department is well placed. It is a good business strategy to always take care of customers and the continuing effort to exceed my expectations will result in ongoing referrals to my family and friends as well. He even went out of his way to help me. I understand that he worked 10-6PM on 10/17/09. Since I got off work at 7, he was willing to stay overtime to satisfy my needs. My wife and I were in the market recently for a new 2010 FJCruiser. I spent quite a bit of time on the Toyota website and contacting several dealers for a price quote. While some responded back as quick or quicker than Longo, none other than Longo gave me what I wanted: Straight answers, correct answers and fair pricing. A couple had '09 FJs in stock, but their prices were way out of line. Longo's pricing was right in there about where I expected it to be based on my research. Every time I emailed Ali Adnan, he was very prompt to get back to me and answered every single question I had (and there were a LOT), so Longo got our business.So far, my experience with them has been nothing short of great! I did not rate their quality of work of course because I have not received my FJ yet. Our FJ will not come in for another 7-11 weeks (ordered a special color). Hi there, I have been going to Longo for the last 10 years. I have dealt with the same Service person, Tom Ryan the whole time. Great guy that actually cares and tries to save you money when he can and gives good honest service advice. I still have my 99 camry and with 189k on it thanks to the good service there.They have great selection of new cars, great service. That is why I would buy my car there for the service they provide escpecially during warranty of sale or leasing.My friend has already bought one car and leased another there for 15 years. I feel safe there by knowing that if there is something wrong on deal or service they will do the right thing and honor the claim everytime. Bottom Line they are the best car dealer I have ever gone to and never intend to go anywhere else, you can trust them!

Why would I recommend this dealership: Over twenty years of positive experience with Longo translates into a lot of whys. I bought my new Celica from Longo in 1989 and drove it for 14 years before retiring it and buying a Rav4 (Fred Williams) and have been driving it for 7 years and continuing.... That's a lot of great Customer Service that keeps me coming back, especially since I live on the West Side of LA but drive to Longo in El Monte. Mainly, it is because of Tom Ryan's long-term, outstanding help. I don't ever remember having any serious complaint about the work done under Tom's. On the contrary, Tom and his associates goes out of his way to make sure everything is tip top with my car. In extraordinary times of financial stress, Tom helped me take care of maintenance issues one at a time. (I don't think regular car dealerships care that much about their customer's wallets.) While Tom takes care of the car, I get to to sit back, relax and enjoy Longo's accommodations which are over the top, extremely clean, friendly, serving Starbucks coffee, etc. And when it's over, they even wash the car. There are two instances that were life-saving, and if it were not for Tom and his associates, great harm could have come to me. I was in an auto accident and had the body work done by a dealership in Santa Monica. Subsequently, I went to Longo for service and Tom found that the dealership failed to put a bolt back in somewhere in the front left wheel; he wrote this on the invoice. I presented the invoice to the dealership and, without question of fault, they refunded my money. On another occasion, I had my brakes repaired on the West Side and shortly thereafter I ended up at Longo with Tom telling me that the brakes were not in legal tolerance and my car was unsafe to drive. Again, he documented everything on the invoice. And, there was the time when I did have an oil change on the West Side, and even that got screwed up at another Toyota dealership. They told me that I couldn't take my car out because it was leaking too much oil! To their surprise, I called Tom hysterically and related the problem. In short, I took the car directly from there to Tom where he pronounced it healthy and not in need of any such repair. Another reason for five stars: Short of an oil change, I don't handle car problems very well. As a matter of fact, I don't handle them at all. I am the stereotype female who cannot tolerate any strange automobile noises. At the first sign of trouble, I'm ready to call Tom or 1.800.suicide prevention. Tom understands this. Over the years, I have come to trust him unequivocally and he, his associates and Longo have continuously earned all 5's (or the top numbers) in the surveys sent to me. It is with pleasure that I have the opportunity to do so again.

Longo staff are trained very well with customer service. It is nice what they have while you are waiting for your car. If you have kids they have a kid area. Keep up the great work you do.

Sometimes they have good deals- and they always strive for top cusomer satisfaction. Like Starbucks/Subway/AAA there, television, good sitting area, all employees are very helpful and courteous. Only had one major problem there, and they fixed the problem when we told them about it.

Paul Leung is very nice and professional. I had purchased a 2009 Camry SE and have been doing business with this dealership since 1983. However the tint job on my new Camry had some bubbles. I tried to have this resolved. I emailed Tom Rudnai and he had Kary Loefler contact me even though he left a message on my home answering machine to call him at (626) 580-6099 if there are any issues or concerns about my new Camry. Kary told me to go somewhere else to have it fixed even though it is under warranty at Longo and the reason their tint job has bubbles is because their best tinter left the dealership.

Mr. Askari was both friendly and helpful but never pushy. We enjoyed a pleasant experience at Longo that we had not at other places. Mr. Askari was also very helpful with teaching us how to understand and use all of the features of my new car. Longo also offers to do a free 1 month check up for my car which may not be offered by other dealers.

Longo has a great service department, they don't seem to over charge and they always complete repairs/service on your car as promised. The waiting area is clean and comfortable. There are TV's and food locations on the premises. We have purchesed four vehicles from Longo at terrific prices. They know how to close a deal without keeping you there all day.We like the friendly and knowledgeable sales staff.

Tom Ryan has been helping me for over 15 years. He is the guy I go to when I need service and repairs. One time I came in for a minor repair and he pulled out a screwdriver and made the fix for me right on the spot! The Longo is the cleanest Dealership I have ever been to and I don't mind waiting for my car while drinking something Hot from Starbucks!

Always a pleasure going to Longo. The service department is wonderful. They always have my car done when they say the will. They come to me if there is a problem or more work is needed. Nothing is done without my knowledgement. The waiting area is clean and as well as the restrooms.

I HAVE ALWAYS HAD GREAT SERVICE FROM LONGO TOYOTA FROM THE SERVICE DEPT. TO ALL YOUR SALES STAFF. I HAVE ALWAYS RECOMMEND YOUR DEALERSHIP.MY LAST CAR WAS A TOYOTA CAMRY IT LASTED 16 YEARS. I KNOW MY 2009 TOYOTA LE CAMRY WILL LAST AS LONG. I WILL ALWAYS DRIVE A TOYOTA.

I own an 2008 scion tc and recently had a warranty issue which Randy James resolved. Randy went above and beyond to get the work done quickly and effectively. Thanks to Randy, a potentially difficult warranty issue was fixed without stress. I would definitely recommend Randy and his team for Scion/Toyota service.

I bought my car at Longo Toyota in 1985 and still bring that same car in for service. My rating is based on all the years of service I have received and continue to receive from Longo Toyota. Yes, I take it to the dealer because I can depend that it will stand behind its work -- the mechanics/technicians must meet certain requirements -- and the service advisors really know Toyotas. Personally, I have been taking my car to Randy James for almost as long as I've had my car. All I have to do is ask him what I need to have done and he will tell me; he will also let me know what I might need a few months down the road (like new tires, new brakes, a major service, etc.) which helps cut down on unexpected costs. Randy James is the person I seek out in the service drive as I trust in what he tells me my car needs -- he services my car as he would his wife's car -- with an eye towards safety and economy. If in doubt, Randy will go to the service bay to look at what the technicians tell him my car needs. My experience with other employees at Longo Toyota has been similarly gratifying. Given that my car is so old, parts are harder to come by and I have had to have after-market parts used. I had to have the radiator replaced after 20+ years and Longo Toyota put in at least 3 after-market radiators in a short period of time -- I only paid for the first one, Longo Toyota covered the failures, including labor and my rental car each time. Longo Toyota has done this for me on several different items, the latest being the starter. A company that stands behind its work! And, Randy James always gives me the best pricing available, even if I don't have any coupons.I give Longo Toyota an excellent rating for service because it has proven itself over the past 24 years to be honest, trustworthy, reliable, fast without cutting corners, treats me like an honored guest (remember, my car is a 1985 Toyota, not a new car), friendly, and has amenities such as an on-site car rental office (Enterprise), an on-site AAA satellite office, an on-site Starbucks, etc.

My dad and I went in on August 15 at around 9 in the morning looking for a new Camry LE in Charcoal Gray. First Of all they didn't even have the color we wanted, I know that's nothing having to do with the service but considering its a really big dealer and a big seller, I think they should have more cars come in. We walked in the front office, since many salespeople saw us and didn't approach us to help us. There were two ladies on the front desk, one was on the phone and the other on the computer. We stood there for about 8 minutes waiting, until finally one them(the lady on the phone) said how can I help you. We told her we wanted a new Camry and needed some help. It about another 8-10 minutes for a salesperson to come out. But the problem was that he was from the certified used section of the dealer. The guy was pretty polite but then said, sorry I cant help you I only work at the used section, If he wasn't able to help why did they bring him out to start with and why did he waste about 10 minutes of our time. He directed us to another sales guy, one who which was unfriendly and rude. We walked in to his desk and we talked about our situation. My dad was going to give them our old van for the cash for clunkers deal they have going on. He wanted all the registration papers and the title in his hand in that moment. My dad wanted to first see if they had the car and everything. The guy told my dad in a rude commanding way to get the papers that second. My dad refused because he wanted to see more on the car before giving personal papers, and besides we were only there to look. We weren't playing around we did want a car, but it didn't necessarily have to be from that dealer. Like all shoppers, we were looking for the best price. The guy raised his voice on my dad which really got us both mad. What a way to sell a car right? Yell at the customer, make them feel uncomfortable, and not listen to them. I am not just being a total jerk and writing a lot of negative things about this dealer, but the service was horrible, the guy(which I regret not writing down his name)was a total jerk to us, and they wasted our time. Buying a car is a considerable investment, regardless of price. Customers want to be treated with respect and we want to be listened to. Over all, My experience as well as my dads was really bad at Longo Toyota of El Monte. Being a big dealer and all, we expected better service and respect. We ended up leaving right away and went to Toyota of Whittier, which where a guy named Manuel treated us like royalty. Whittier Toyota is the real deal. Its a much smaller dealer but the inventory is great, prices are great and the service is 5 stars out of 5. These people are really polite and nice, make you feel like home. Plus its nice they have free drinks and food for their customers.

11:00a.m. went to Longo Toyota in El Monte to get an oil change since my $15 coupon was going to expire today. There was a long line in front of me waiting to drop off their vehicles. That did not bother me or deter me from getting the oil change done. Jerry Temores was handling my paperwork while on the telephone. When he finally finished with his phone call he explined it would be an hour and half wait. That is when I told him that I wanted to pay for a car wash and I would pick-up my car at 5:30p.m. when they close. As I was waiting for my ride I spoke with Eddie Afra Internet Sales Manager. I told him I was looking at buying a Camry in two years. He helped by providing me a brochure and showing me the models on the sales floor. He then paid for my Starbucks coffee out of his own money. He introduced me to other service advisors Gabriel Perez and Victor Smith. All of which were very courteous to me. Upon my arrival at 5:30p.m. I was only charged for an oil change. So when I walked out to pick-up my car the car was still dirty. So I went to speak to Jerry Temores surprise surprise he was on the phone with another customer. I told him that my car was dirty and what is he going to do about it. He told me to wait until he finished with his phone call. That is when I started to look for Gabriel Perez or Victor Smith to get Stewart the manager down here to resolve this issue. Jerry Temores finally gets off the phone and tells me he can get the car washed in 5 minutes. When Stewart the manager comes to talk to me I told him the issue has been resolved and that Jerry Temores was in the process of washing my car. 5 minutes later Jerry Termoes returns my car and sounds off saying that I was rude to the person on the phone. I told him that if the car was washed as I ordered we wouldnt be out here arguing about it. The fact of the matter is that this advisor was such in a hurry he didnt understand that I wanted to pay for a hand car wash verses getting one of those conveyor machine washes.

Bought a Toyota Tacoma from them. I t had a Toyota warranty. Overall experience buying was negative. Salespeople were pushy, evasive and rude. Lying took place. Bought the car, drove 200 miles had a major problem. Took it to a Toyota dealership closer to my home. They stated Longo had to fix it. Nightmare ensued trying to get Longo to take responsibility. Finally got it fixed. Cost me money, of course. Now 1500 miles later another problem. Longo? Stay far away from them. Hopefully the current state of the economy will hurt them. They are big, yes and they are bad.

Had to wait a long time to talk with someone via the phone. Once someone came on the phone their english was horrible. They new nothing about the new model Venza,they said its possible they may see it in a month or 2. Then they said "what other car you want?".2nd call-for sales manager-reception said they aren't in today instead of asking if I would like to speak with one of the mgrs. on duty. The one she called said he was too busy to talk-he was busy talking to a salesperson. Would not even think of going to the dealership- let alone, making a purchase there!

Longo Toyota is definitely not the place for questions and answers regarding to new Toyota vehicles. I have already dealt with more than five different salesmen, and not one turns out to be satisfactory. The salesmen here are by far the worst of the worst out there. They are very inexperienced, slow to react, and don't know too much about cars. One salesman I dealt with don't even know what VVT-i stands for in the engine.

In my entire 5 years of Camry ownership so far, I have been to this service center 3 times ended with mostly bad notes. Here are the incidents and details.First visit: Car was bought at Longo Toyota as brand new. For the first schedule maintenance, I was thinking it's better to bring back to dealership for check up. After my "first" oil change with Longo, I know this is a place that I would avoid at all cost. Not to mention I had waited over 3 hours just for the oil change, when my car is returned (after drove off from service center) I realized Longo "stole" my engine removable heat sink (Which at the time cost least $350USD aftermaket). Go figure what a dealership can do to your car when they took away car parts without your consent.Second visit: 3 years passed (Glad that I bought the 90K extended warranty) My power steering start to make weired noise. Did a bit of google research and found out Toyota had a major recall on Camry from 03~05 models due to bad parts from JP supplier. So I went there again to see if they can fix the problem. Instead of acknowledging the recall, they claim it was my power steering shaft that is dry (they claimed lubrication is needed). So I paid for the service and the problem still exist 1 week after.Third visit: 1 week after, yeah so bring the car back again and this time they went ahead for the repair on recall (problem finally gone).What seems to be so ridiculous was the dealership would have changed me $350 for the service due to out of standard warranty even though it was a recall due to bad parts. Glad that my extended warranty covered my ass so I won't get rip off from these guys again.Well, I checked all these dealerships for service all these years and seem like all Toyota service centers received low marks cross a board. No wonder their sales has been slowed and complaints have been skyrocketed compare to the early years. Where has Toyota quality been ? P.S. Service Rep was courteous, but the service is sub par.

After finding the selected car of interest; negotiating the price; making an appointment, we showed up to close the deal. After waiting over an hour, we were finally told the car had been sold. No one at the dealership bothered to phone or email. The salesman sent someone else out to tell us, not even bothering to apologize for the mistake personally. How Longo Toyota sells the most cars is beyond me. Their price was no better than other dealers. I will never purchase a car from them and will spread the word through the internet, my friends, family, etc.

Longo Toyota was very professional and quickly sent me an email quote, The Internet Sales Manager Adam Chi was very professional, but their final price was over $150 higher out-the-door than the Dealer in which I purchased the vehicle from (Claremont Toyota.) Adam Chi of Longo Toyota was courteous and friendly and is willing to work with customers to make them a reasonable and good offer. Although I purchased my car elsewhere I will call Longo Toyota next time Im shopping for a Toyota.

"I don't see why it was out fault!!!!"That's what the service manager said when I complaint regarding their quality of work. Service advisor called me and told me that the spark plugs needed to be replaced. But they were "new"!!! I told him not to do it.Then several weeks later, the engine started to knock. It was the damn spark plug, one of them was loose. I went in there to tighten the spark plug.2 days ago, the same spark plug shot out of the cylinder head. And now the cylinder head was stripped. I have to rethread the damn cylinder head.I called the Longo Toyota's service manager and complaint regarding their quality of service and demanding them to be responsible for the problem. His claimed that the tech never took out the spark plug. They merely made the recommendation by looking at the milage of the car, regardless the prior service done somewhere else....(so those of you out there who trust their "expert recommendation" DON'T. They will rip you off.)Here's my problem with his attitude. He never investigate what his service tech did to my car. He didn't ask me for the service tag# or invoice# to find out more what the problem was. If he would've take 5-10 min to investigate what his tech did, and told me the same thing, I would've accepted it. Yet he is so dogmatic that his tech never took the spark plug out of the engine without even consulting his tech; not even pulling out my car service record. This is the kind of service I got for paying premium $$$ ??????Here's my recommendation to the reader:1. Do NOT!!!! I repeat do NOT trust any recommendation this dealer made. Check it against 3rd party!!!!!2. Always double check their quality of work before you even drive out of their drive way. If anything disatisfy you, bring it to their attention or you will be stuck with the bill fixing it3. If possible do NOT go to Longo Toyota for service. They cost triple than the others yet their quality of work is just the same or even lower than the "hole in the wall" service garage.
