Waiting, Waiting, Waiting. They may not know the customer service. They may just to want to make money. They may think the time is existing for them only, not for customers. I didn't ask for any discount paying exactly what they asked for. But I had to wait almost a week to get a confirmation, and 3 hours on the spot to sign the contract. They even didn't receive my call, and didn't tell me when they were day off making me spend a day keep calling them. On signing day, even with a prior appointment at a certain time, they have us spend total 3 hours, that is, 2 hour for document preparation for them and 1 hour for signing. It could have finished within an hour if they have prepared beforehand. I wonder all the Honda dealers' the same. So disgusting. I bought, but I wouldn't recommend at all.

Just bought a brand new car from Long Beach Honda this week! Carlos Deleon and everyone else are great to deal with! They are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated. Carlos can effectively coordinate the work of different departments, and make the complicated procedure of buying a car simple and clear! No matter how many question I asked for, he always be patient and professional to answer me. What can I say? My car decided it didn't want to live anymore but they resuscitated it in an amazing amount of time, professionally and politely. I have no doubt that they dealt with me honestly and fairly. It's always stressful to lose your means of transportation but they made the repair process seamless! Next time I'm looking at buying a car I'll definitely be going there first.

I originally wanted a Honda Pilot, the sales manager recommended a C RV which I immediately fell in love with. While buying a car always seems to take a long time, the staff at Long Beach Honda did everything they could to make it an easy process. A small cosmetic defect on on some of the window trim was pointed out to me. I understand that the part is on order and will be replaced a upon it's arrival. That is real service! I am looking forward to returning to your dealership for regular maintenance service on my car and seeing some of my new friends again.

Greatest service ever. The whole process was naturally nerve wrecking but Ciera made us feel at ease. It almost felt surreal and we were in a commercial. We were very satisfied.

My experience with Long Beach Honda is one that started alright and has continued to go downhill. I purchased a used Honda certified odyssey from then in June 2016. The initial sale was relatively easy. The sales guy (Michael) was nice, did not know much about cars, but was not pushy or rude. Everything went fairly smooth except they were missing one of the keys to the car (all certified used cars have to have two sets). No problem they told me they will find the keys and mail them to me. 4 stars maybe 4.5 stars.Now we start downhill. A few days pass I call to check on keys and leave voicemails. Two more days pass without a response I call again and finally get Allen the finance guy to answer and say they will have to get me a new set. So another trip in to get a "due bill" and then another trip in to have the key cut and programmed because they could not schedule everything at once, even though it was their fault and their mistake. Drop the rating to 3 stars.Downhill again. I receive the title and it is only in my name, when I clearly stated and have the copy of the paperwork the shows the title should be held in my name and my wife's name. I am tired of wasting time with these guys so I do nothing, at least I have the title and can move on. 2 stars now.Further downhill. I receive registration renewal docs from DMV. I try to renew but cannot. Three DMV phone calls later (surprisingly all nice people at the DMV) and I find out that Long Beach Honda made an error on some documents to transfer title (they crossed out my wife's name on the transfer document, now I know why she was not in title). Because of this error I have to deal again with Long Beach Honda. I currently have calls in with the manager (Frank, who I am not even sure if this is a real person) and Edie (DMV Specailist) Frank has yet to call me back and Edie has been fairly nice. However, I am not truly satisfied with her suggested solutions (fill out a new form and statement that says my wife never wanted to be on title which is untrue or mail Long Beach Honda my pink slip, which frightens me after this mess). I have asked for another option (I will come in with the pink slip, fill out paperwork and get copies of everything) and I asked for compensation for my time lost due to a dealership error (I simply suggested they pay the registration renewal this time). Edie has been unable to help me because it requires a manager and now neither Edie or Frank have called me back. 1 star at this point.So, I now have many hours into fixing problems made by this dealership and I am very unhappy about it, but they do not care or so it seems from the lack of returned phone calls. I will update this if anyone tries to help improve the terrible customer service, but at this point it would be a zero star place if possible.I am truly wishing I would have bought somewhere else. Thanks Long Beach Honda for taking any joy out of my car purchase and for causing hours of extra work and loads of stress.Final update. The DMV was able to resolve the problem after I went to the dealership with my pink slip and mailed it and the letter the DMV sent to the dealership back. The manager, whom I left multiple messages with on his cell never had the decency to call me back. Edie at least did her job right. I cannot believe how terrible the management is at this place, I will never use this or any affiliate again and will tell all my friends to steer clear. You would be wise to do the same.

We are very happy with our purchase of a new Honda Pilot Elite (April 2016). The car is so comfortable and so far everything is working well and we have no complaints. We are not "calling out" any particular employees of your dealership as all who assisted in our purchase of the car were very friendly and helpful. We have owned several Honda vehicles (cars & a truck) in the past and have been "over the top" pleased with all of them. All vehicles have required just minimal service even after years of ownership. All have cost us very little to own and drive (no down time). The servicing of these vehicles was always done at Long Beach Honda as they have a friendly and competent service department. These accolades made our decision to come back once again to purchase the Pilot SUV from you. Kudos! Long Beach Honda from R & R

My Honda had been recalled for the air bag problem. I brought in my car after being wrongly told by a service department representative that the repair could be made the next week and that I should come in to start a repair order to "get a good place in line." As it turned out, the arrival date of the parts was unknown. Hugo, getting approval from Armando, made it right. He agreed to keep my car until repairs could be made and arranged for a rental, although space was tight on the dealership lot due to the volume of recall repairs. Thanks so much, Hugo.

A better car buying experience I have not had. No pressure, no haggling; I got what I wanted for my trade, and they matched another dealers price I got from Costco for the new car.Everyone was warm, welcoming and best of all, none of the sort of high pressure treatment one would expect from a store like a normal Honda/Toyota/Chevy mass market dealer.Jerry Forbes helped me over two days, and Marco doing all my paperwork was a breeze. The day after looking I came in to purchase, and I was in and out in a few hours. I would highly recommend anyone give these guys a chance at your business. It can get super busy on weekends, so if you can swing a weekday, you may be better off. Apparently this dealership was taken over a few months ago by another management group, so old reviews here may not be irrelevant. Only small irritating thing is customer parking sucks, is nearly non existent and not marked at all (just park where you see a free space whether its marked or not). When all is said and done however, super happy customer; hoping this continues through service appointments to come.

I have an excellent served with the service person Armando Casarez. He made my appointment very easy and convenient for me, even when i am half an hour late to my appointment. I explained to him, i am sorry, i am late. He's replied with a friendly smiles, it is okay, we want you to come in. He made me felt very welcome and appreciated his services. I recently bought a HR-V at Long Beach Honda and it was surprising great experience. I had inquired about a vehicle while looking on the dealership website, and was contacted by Jeff and Robin. From there I had scheduled an appointment to view the HR-Vs on the lot. Jeff had introduced me to Demetric Wright who spent a great deal of time with me so that I could get what I wanted- at one point he had the pleasure of moving four cars just so that I could see the features in the EX just to compare them to the LX model - I'm glad I did, I ended up with the EX! This was a great first car buying experience, very easy - no pressure, not what i expected.

After seeing the only review and it being a "2" all I could think was, either the customer or the salesperson was having a less than stellar day. Because, our experience was just that, stellar. We had been to another "popular" dealer, for this brand, earlier in the day and thought that one of 3 guys were going to knock themselves out just to get to us. The fastest, and youngest beat out the other 2. Only problem was, after 45 minutes, we never actually left the lot to test a car. The salesperson was unable to use his passcode to get a key for the 2 models we wished to see. Although we told him we didn't mind waiting, he never sent word to us to tell us of the even bigger delay than the first one which had to be 15 minutes. After another 15 or so minutes, a guard walked over to us wondering why we were "in" the car. We told him the situation as well as the name of our salesperson and he said he would get in touch with him/her We watched the guard walk over to a manager (?) who was having a coffee. We thought it was about getting us help. Evidently, "out of site, out of mind". So, after another 15 minutes, with no one approaching us with information, help, advice ... a key?.. we decided to leave. Of course, the guard was still chatting with, what appeared to be a manager/supervisor of some sort. Who knows? And, at that point, who cared! After dinner, we headed out to Long Beach Honda. Absolutely no one rushed us. In fact, I thought they were closed for a moment as it was late on a weekend evening. A very polite gentleman walked up to us. I mentioned that I thought I'd caught them at a bad time but he said that since they rotate who will walk up to a customer, he was waiting for the other salesman to approach. When he found that the other salesperson was going to be unavailable, he politely told us he would be happy to help. We knew what we wanted to look when we walked in, and he did not try to push us into something else. He was very respectful of all of our pre-planning. He was then able to point out features on the 2 vehicles we had in mind that we had not realized came with the cars. We immediately test drove our 2 models once the drivers; licenses were handled. Both vehicles were surprisingly excellent as we had tested some high end German make cars earlier.The reason we looked at Honda in the first place was because of the great reviews and evaluations it had in reliability, safety and performance. Those are the 3 most important traits in a vehicle which drives our choices in a purchase of a vehicle. Upon finishing the test drives, we explained we did not wish to deal in any way shape or form. We did oblige in the meeting of the sales manager out of respect for our wonderful salesperson. He was, for lack of a better phrase, "a bit more", but, fortunately, a few shades shy of pushy. I had told the salesperson that we would walk if there was even the slightest hint of "push". Without having been "forewarned" the sales manager did not "push" in a way that would make us walk out. He seemed mostly very conscientious and thorough making sure we knew even more than we did when we had arrived. We walked out knowing for certain, we would deal with them exclusively should we decide to buy the Honda product. Having had the opportunity to have dealt with 3 other dealers (excluding the one at which we never drove a car or even received help), having found lots of great features on on of the other 3 brands and models of cars with fairly good salespeople, we knew that if all things were equal or even close to equal, the final decision would be about where we had felt we had the best overall experience. If Honda was the only car that we were considering, we know exactly where we would buy it. Long Beach Honda, hands down. This review is being written before we have finalized our choices, however, there was a concern one of us would forget to give credit to our favorite dealer of the day, Long Beach Honda

I called on a Thursday wanting to see a Honda Accord that was advertised, and I was interested in test driving it as well. I was hoping if the deal went well I would have a new car by the weekend. However, the Salesman that answered my call informed me the car was not on the lot, because the Sales Manager took it for personal use for the day. The car was supposed to be returned the next day by 1:30pm. I couldn't make it in the dealership the next day, so I called and came in on Saturday. I finally got to see the car, but I was disappointed there was trash in the car, a spill that wasn't cleaned up on the leather driver seat and an ink mark on the back seat. There was also an old piece of rug that was used to protect the floor mat that was mistakenly left for me to see. It was clear the car was being used for personal reasons often, and I felt disrespected by not having the car ready for me to see. I left without the car and felt bad for the Salesman that continued to make excuses for the trash as he stuffed it in his pockets. After the weekend went by and not finding another car, I thought I'd try one more time since I wouldn't be financing with this dealership. I feel I got a good deal, but again the person that should have helped me was too busy so a new hired employee proceeded to give me confusing information to the point I was ready to walk out again. The confusion ended when a Sr. Sales Manager was summoned to clear up the confusion. I love the car but the dealership personnel are unprofessional and need to reevaluate how they treat their customers.
