Fastest oil change I've ever gotten from a dealership. The young lady that received the car was nice and got me in and out with no problem. We had a great experience at Lithia Subaru. Henry was our sales guy and made us feel comfortable during the process. He was very knowledgeable and answered every question we had. This was our first experience with Lithia Subaru and a Subaru vehicle altogether. Financing department was quick and explained everything to us in a concise manner. When I come in to buy a car I want no hassles, no typical bad dealer behavior and I want to use my time efficiently. I have already done the research and know exactly what I want, I negotiated a final price with Victor by email. Then I drove almost four hours to complete the purchase. You were able to work with my need to have my wife on title without her coming to the dealership. After several bad experiences she refuses to set foot in a dealership for the rest of her life. We completed the paperwork with no issues of trying to up sell me on things I don't want like extended warranties ETC.I really appreciated Victor taking the time to show me how all the controls and electronics worked in the car including setting up my iPhone. A lot has changed since the last time I bought a Subaru in 1998.

Chris explained to us that wour car would arrive in three wrrks, which was correct. He was very helpful a=and knowledgeable about the models we considered, arranged for us to drive both,, answered oru questions, and left us to consider our purchase for a bit. We were happy to feel no pressure. When we picked up the car, Chris explained the financing process and what to expect from Sal. When we were finished, he showed us its many features while one of us worked the controls. Eh also took us to parts to purchase some items John was very prompt and helpful. We even came back in a few days to buy more add on parts, with the same experience. Good Job, Lithia.The reason for our 4 star review was due to insufficient .customer parking.

This is only the second time I've had my 2015 Crosstrek serviced. Each time I've been treated with respect & courtesy. The techs & service staff keep you informed & at the end of the service review the results. I live 50 miles away so being informed about the condition of my vehicle is important to me. This dealership's customer lounge is large & comfortable. The best I've seen in this area. Would highly recommend Lithia Subaru.

The service department at Lithia Subaru of Fresno was customer oriented and user friendly.. We had purchased our vehicle last summer and enjoyed several outings, but were not ready mileage-wise for our first regular service. Instead we used their complementary pre-winter inspection which was very through and even included checking the tire pressure and fluid levels while we waited in their comfortable lobby. They even furnished coffee and doughnuts!

The service on my car was quoted to be around an hour and one-half, since I did not make an appointment. The oil change and tire rotation was right on the quoted time. Very satisfied with the service and the wait time went by quickly. Nice place to wait, drink coffee or tea, watch the tv or just read.

Went in to look at the new 2017 Subaru Outback, We had bought our 2013 here in 2012 from Nielsen. Chris is an outstanding, no pressure salesman. Lithia gave us a great deal on our trade and the new Outback! Love the car, the dealership. They are even installing a new windshield this week at their cost as the one on the car had a small pit in it. Very impressed!

I was in for an oil change. I also asked them to install the front license plate which they did at no extra charge. They then offered to do a tire rotation for $10.00 which I accepted. I got very good service in an acceptable amount of time. Also, their waiting room is very comfortable.

I was completely satisfied with the overall service and was actually quite worried that I would have to reschedule because I arrived later tat my scheduled appointment. I missed my turnoff into the dealership due to roadwork signs but this did not seem a problem with Lithia Subaru personnel and treated me with a welcome. Plus, my wait time was not as long as I expected. I was very happy and would recommend this dealership to others.

My 5 star rating is because of Ed Monson, the Online manager. I had dealt with him before and was delighted to find he was still there. Honest, helpful, good listener, thorough, straightforward. A car-buying experience can be painful but Ed took it in the opposite direction and I drove away happy with how I was treated ... and delighted with the car, a 2017 Subaru Forester!! How often can you use the word "trust" at a car dealership. I trust Ed and will recommend him to anyone and everyone.

The folks at Lithia Subaru are top drawer! Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and eager to assist us, from the salesman to the finance manager. They gave us a very fair price for our trade in and had excellent financing options for our new Crosstrek. I took my Subaru Outback 2014 in for 6-month service. They promised that it would be ready in one hour and 45 minutes. It was ready in that time. They checked everything, changed the oil, and rotated the tires (fixed a small leak), and I was on my way. This is my fifth Subaru ... it won't be my last (until it lasts longer than I will).

Ed Monson was my Salesman and he's a real nice guy. I had been looking for a particular vehicle and price for a couple of months and my sister found my vehicle online. She contacted Ed for me and he was so helpful and pleasant from the beginning. He helped me apply online and had all my paperwork ready when I got to the dealership the following day. I live 3+ hrs from Fresno and drove down to get my vehicle. Ed was accommodating and told me several times how appreciative he was of me and he took my time and my long drive to heart. He had even offered to buy me a train ticket the day before so I could make it down. He gave me a gift card so I could get lunch and filled up my sister's tank for driving me down. Ed takes his job seriously but also has fun and has a very pleasant personality, making this a great experience. He continues to keep in contact with me and has made it clear that no matter what I need, he will ALWAYS be there for me (Even at this long distance).

Have been a customer at Lithia since purchase of a 2003 Subaru Outback. Recently purchased a new Subaru Crosstrek.It is obvious to me that the efficiency, professionalism and personal touch have improved a lot in the past few years. The service department has it down.....fast, personable, great facilities; I am very pleased to give Lithia my business. Have been times in the past that I didn't feel this way. A few years back, I could never get a car serviced without the extra added costs that "I just had to fix this or that". Seemed that the service dept. was working on some type of commission, thus what can we find wrong with the car!Kudos to Lithia for correcting this and raising the bar tremendously in all areas. Bought my Crosstrek using online and it was effortless.

Started the process applying for credit on-line. Ed called me back within minutes of submitting the credit ap. we discussed what we were shopping for and within a couple of days we had a loan approved and a car located. We went to the dealership to secure the car we wanted and two days later we were in our new Crosstrek. Never was there any pressure and never did we feel like we were just another sale.

When I first looked into buying a vehicle for my oldest child in college it quickly became apparent that a Subaru Crosstrek was the best option. It provides safety, cargo capacity, and reliable handling in foul weather (in this case Colorado)! She loves her Subie, and I appreciate that she is well protected. Additionally the added service agreements and warrantee help minimize unexpected expenses for us. Lithia was wonderful to deal with during that experience two years ago. Now my second child also needs a car while in college that can take him to class as well as to the mountains and the coast. We returned to Lithia Subaru for my second Crosstrek in 2 years!! Ed Monson was wonderful to deal with and made the experience not only succesful but also fun!All three of us are thrilled with the vehicles, the sales people and process, and the service department the few times we have needed it.

Very personable, friendly, honest and straightforward. My vehicle wasn't delivered yet, but Ed kept me informed every day on the status of the car. The minute it was delivered he sent me a video of my new car!! He then made an appointment to pick it up within hours. He worked until after 9 pm that night making sure I understood all the features. He could have gone home, but stayed and answered all of our questions. Outstanding service. If I buy another Subaru or recommend one to a friend, there is no doubt I will suggest they use Ed as their salesperson. Outstanding job ED!!!

I was never pressured into purchasing a car. I had trouble deciding which car i wanted to purchase so the employee went over each car and what it had to offer.i'm very happy with the purchase I made and a proud to be a Subaru owner. My decision to purchase one was largely based on speaking with Subaru owners. All they've ever had has been a Subaru. Plus, I still see older models on the road and that is the kind of car I want to have:one that will keep me safe and run as long as I choose to keep it.

I noticed that it was time for my first oil change for my 2016 Crosstrek. I drove up to service lane where I was promptly met by an advisor. He advised me that they would be with me in a few minutes. When they checked me in I was told it would be a couple hours. I decided to go ahead and wait. I was very impressed by waiting area. I was sent a text to let me know I could ask if I had any questions. My car was finished in 2 1/2 hours.

The part needed was replaced however the oil change was not completed. When original requesting my car be serviced I requested an oil change and my car wouldn't shift into gear. I was told by the service man no sorry but we can get you in until Thursday which was two days later. I then turned to my salesman who was able to get my car scheduled for the next day and got me a loaner car. The part was replaced I then was called to pick my car up at which time I asked about my oil change. I was told the car would be put back in line for the oil change. Needlessly to say oil wasn't changed and with my tight schedule this was by best opportunity. I will now need to reschedule the oil change.

I had wanted a Subaru for a very long time. Ed somehow knew which one was the right one for me! He was very helpful at every step of the process, and I am a very happy owner! I can still call on him at any time for help with anything I need. (Such as changing the clock at daylight savings time.) It's great to know that he is still there when I need something, and will be there when I am ready for my next Subaru! (That may be awhile, though!) :-)

Wow! So lucky to meet Ed Monson at this store. Our 15 year old car needed $1,000 of brake work. I talked to Ed and he told us about a brand new car that would fit us perfectly. All we had to do was trade in our old car and with no money out of our pocket I drove home in a brand new 2016 Lancer. I am so excited to be in the Bluetooth world now. Ed paired our phones and help us until we knew everything about our new car. If you need a car call Ed Monson because everything Ive read about him online turned out to be true. I would definitely buy another car from Ed and send my friends and family to him. I keep a car a long time. When it was finally time to get rid of my 10 year old Camry, I checked this place out because of the reviews online. I live several hours away from Fresno, but Ed Monson handled all the paperwork before I got there. He asked me for some documentation the lender required before I left home so I had time to find it, scan it and sent it in. When we got to the dealership the paperwork was ready and all I did was sign. While we waited for the finance manager we got a thorough explanation of everything inside the car and out. We spent about 10 minutes in the finance office and drove off in a new car with a ten year warranty which is longer than my loan. Thank you Ed Monson for a truly pleasant experience.

The service advisor let me know that the process would take longer than just a regular oil change due to the recall on the parking brake. He told me that it might take up to two hours, which I had expected. He was very concerned about my satisfaction. They had the entire procedure finished in an hour and forty five minutes. I drive a hundred miles from Bakersfield to get my car serviced at Lithia Subaru because they care about me and my business.

I love Lithia Subaru. The staff at the service department including the cashier are friendly and kind. The salesman who sold me my car, Antonio, is 2nd to none. It is amazing how loyal his clients are. While waiting for my car to be serviced, he noticed me and came over and gave me a big hug. While talking with him, another client saw Antonio and came up to him and gave him a big hug. He is like a part of the family. That is rare nowadays. Love my car and dealership too!

Working with Ed was a great experience. I had found the vehicle I wanted, called the dealership, and Ed was able to offer me the vehicle at a savings of $5K. Ed handled almost all the paperwork over email so I literally had to come in and sign the contract. The entire process took about 1.5 hours. Ed answers all my questions with the car promptly and even makes me YouTube videos so he can show me exactly what a certain button does! Ed is awesome and made for a great car buying experience. Much better than I could have hoped. Highly recommend.

I've obsessed over the STI ever since the 1st one. Never expected to own one unless I won the lottery. Well life found a way to make it possible. Thanks to Ed I own one of the rarest STI's on the road. Now I can drive my obsession on a daily basis. No need to call it my dream car any more. Lithia Subaru has a first-rate staff, all very helpful in both service and sales. I dealt with Chris Nielson when purchasing my 2014 Forester, and then again recently when I traded it in and upgraded to a 2016 Forester Touring model. Always helpful, never a hassle here. I have no negatives. I'll continue to service here throughout the life of the car.

Everyone was extremely cooperative and helpful; I enjoyed the cush chairs in the waiting lounge as well. It took a lot of the load off me to have gentle reminders (but not pushy) of when the service was due; and it was handled promptly.

We test drove 5 different cars from 4 different makers and found the Subaru Outback to be far and away our top choice both for performance and value. We then contacted the Costco Auto Buy Program who referred us to Ed Monson at Lithia Subaru in Fresno. Ed contacted me within 6 minutes of receiving my information (almost before I hung up with Costco). Less than 1/2 hour later I had a written "no haggle" quote and the next day we were the proud owners of a 2016 Subaru Outback. This was by far the easiest, most pleasant car-buying experience we've ever had.

Your service dept. also fantastic. It was after closing and they were able to prep our car. I received a phone call on a recall yesterday. Outback towed to dealer. I enjoy the convenience of not having to make an appointment to get our car serviced. I was promptly greeted and the information completed quickly. I asked him approximately how long it would take and he said 45 minutes to an hour. The waiting area is very comfortable. The service took 1 hour.

My 2016 Subaru Crosstrek had a dead battery for an unknown reason. Everyone was very helpful and got my problem solved.. The car is now working fine and the service department explained what the problem was and how to avoid having the situation happening again.

I went in, the took my car and told me there was a recall on the brakes. I left and asked them to call me when its done. They call me and say they couldn't download the brake thing but everything else was done with in 45 minutes or so. I went back, sign a paper, grab my keys and left. It was easy, simple, quick.

I had been researching and test driving cars for about 2 years and have had a variety of experiences from several dealerships, 8 to be exact. I'm not the type to purchase anything spontaneously on the spot and I wasn't in a hurry to purchase a car so I made sure each sales associates knew that. 5 out of the 8 dealerships still asked me "what it would take to get me into a car today" and further pressured me into typical car salesman tactics. Tony Broudian and Victor Bravo did not. I had the most experience with test drives and paperwork with Tony. Tony is a salesman, and I mean no negative connotation to that. He wants to sell you his product because he knows it is good, but at the same time is very mindful and aware of your demeanor and intentions. He wants you to make the decision for yourself, which I greatly appreciated. I would say, people in general want these types of decisions to be of their own and not coerced by someone else. I visited each dealership on multiple occasions because 1) I found out different things I like/dislike about each vehicle on each test drive and 2) I wanted to find a sale associate that in my perspective deserves the sale and would result in a positive experience for myself and future buyers. I did not want to support the type of sales associate who thrive on taking advantage of individuals who are susceptible to old school sales tactics. I completed the financial paperwork with Mason. Mason has a very concise system for signing documents and thoughtfully explains each document so that it doesn't get overly complicated for the buyer, which it can because there are a lot of agreements and documents to sign. I appreciated his organization, clarity, and not putting us in his office where the AC persistently pushes out hot air. I only test drove one car with Victor, but I have to say it was one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences. He approached me like a fanatical Subaru owner who wanted to show off all the features of his car that were not on the website and that I did not fully understand from reading articles online. He was selling his passion for Subaru just as much as he was selling the car. Had I been more spontaneous, I may have purchased the vehicle.

I needed a left front headlight replaced and also asked that the oil be checked as well as tire pressure and wanted a full service car wash. Everything was done as required in a very timely manner as quoted. I also discussed possible future needs with Jacob. He is always friendly and courteous and ready to answer or explain any issues. The Subaru forester that I had picked earlier, a low end version, had been sold. This being the 29th of February Fresno Subaru went out of there way to make a deal and offered an upgrade Subaru for less price. As extras they gave a full tank of fuel. Also to close the deal that day I needed my wife's signature who was in Coarsegold so had to fetcher her. In return they gave me a full tank of diesel to my 350 Ford truck. Very friendly and helpful, they took care of the registration and loan requirements.

Several days after picking up my Forester I had an occasion to use my windshield wipers and they hardly worked at all! I took the car to the dealer and they checked my wipers. Apparently, someone replaced the new ones with well-used ones. The service department replaced them immediately and it was covered under warranty.

Happy with my Subaru - would like to see some changes inside the new cars such as automatic door locks, memory seat that goes all the way back when car shut off, have memory seat adjustment work when in car without having to open door, definitely more storage inside front seating area, put clock somewhere else (such as on navigation) and much larger. I brought my used 2004 Subaru Forester XS in for an oil change. The entire staff was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be servicing customers. I was greeted by almost every single employee from the top on down during my visit. I was quoted a higher price for an oil change online but paid quite a bit less when it was time to pay. Jacob Hicks went above and beyond helping me get in and out of there in a flash. I will definitely be recommending Lithia Subaru to my friends, family etc and I'll definitely be coming back for any and all service needs I may have in the future. Likes Todd our sales agent. Like the model/year car we purchased. Did not like upselling by finance manager. Let that be a sales person job. This enables a transparent experience for the buyer and takes pressure off other players in the process. Buying a car should be a fun experience and not a time of stress. You almost lost a sale on this point. I hope the dealership has a program whereby Subaru owners are brought together once a year to celebrate their love of Subaru. Maybe have an off road or road course day where owners enjoy a barbecue , share stories, look at the different models, accessories etc. Just a thought to encourage loyalty, awareness and promote the brand.

Sales did a great job overall. Negotiations over price went back and forth as expected, but we went away feeling good about the deal. There was one accessory that we were told was included on the car that turned out to not be there. Sales said they would cover the cost of the part and the install for no cost. We are waiting on the final accessory which was on back order.

Upon driving into the service area, I was surprised to see a complete turn over of staff although I had been expecting it since the buy out from Lithia. Prior Subaru service people had built a reputation as honest and trustworthy. So, it was very disappointing to see the new people trotting out filters suggesting they needed to be replaced. This happened with the 3 clients in the waiting room. I will not be returning to Subaru for maintenance.

There are still some glitches with this service department. First of all, I couldn't get through to the service department after trying 3-4 times one day. I finally had to leave a message and nobody called me back that day. The next day I got through to someone and set an appointment for 8:00 a.m. on a Saturday. The day after that I received an e-mail "confirming my 9:30 appointment". I was supposed to click on a link to confirm my appointment. When I did that, it took me to a screen where my only two choices were to either cancel the appointment or reschedule the appointment. The following day I received another confirmation e-mail but this time I was able to select "confirm my appointment". When I dropped off my car at 9:30, I tried to explain to a gentleman working in the service department about a warning message the car displayed about needing to have my ABS checked. He didn't listen to my story and dismissed it as a system check that happens when you start the car cold. This was something other than what had happened, as it came on while I was driving and had been for a while. But he dismissed me and passed me off to another service rep telling her that I just needed an oil change. So I hope my brake system works when I need it.

I had a recall notice for my car and also had them do a couple other service items I could not do. After one of the repairs there seemed to be an issue with the suspension and had two service people go with me on a test drive. Could not duplicate the issue but they told me the repairs were warranted and my concerns were put in my cars file. I'm pleased with all my experiences with the dealer

Our salesman, Russell McCarty, was professional, courteous and very patient. No pressure was used despite the fact that it took us over two years to consummate this sale. Numerous phone calls, emails and personal visits to Lithia Subaru allowed us to gather the necessary information about the Subaru Forester in order to intelligently compare. Russell immediately made us feel that we were an important part of the Subaru family and that once we made our purchase that dedication from Lithia would continue, especially through service. With the help of the "Eyesight" system, our families safety on the road has been upgraded and it gives us more peace of mind. Over the years, we have owned various models of American made, including Japanese and Korean vehicles, but none compare to this Forester. Thank goodness for all of the individual vehicle manuals, as they help to also explain the operation of the electronics.

This is our 4th Subaru so far.. me and my husband started having LEGACY and a WRX then after 3 years we acquired a FORESTER (eyesight) and an STI . I have to say we're fully satisfied with the performance as well as its safety . Price wise compare to other Japanese car you have a good value for your money when it comes to purchasing a SUBARU . To top it all we are very much pleased the way the salesperson Tony handle us .He is very competent and knowledgable. It's not a matter of sales talk but the honesty he has that you would feel as a customer . The entire employee has a great teamwork that made us feel comfortable FINAlly I really would recommend SUBARU .. ( which I did to my sister already and she got herself an OUTBACK recently)

Customer service is friendly. However, it lacks customer attention, no technician talked to me to explain what was done to my car. Granted, all I needed was an oil change.Also, when I picked up my car I had to go fetch it from the parking lot myself. So, for customers who might need more attention this is not the place.

my last subaru wagon lasted me 15 yrs...by mistake...kids kept taking cars. i used it for going skiing and never had to put chains on. it did dirt roads well and the new one has better clearance which is great. My old wagon was prefect. So in about 3 yrs. i'll know for sure if this 2015 is as good. but I have very high hopes and great expectations. I do like all the modernizations on the inside. robt.k.

Several warning lights stayed on while the car was being driven, and there was also some engine hesitation or misfiring. The service staff tested the electrical harness and plugs, tested the cylinder with misfiring, found the problem plug, replaced that plug, test drove the car, and the problem was fixed. Not only that, it didn't cost me a penny because the spark plug in question was still under warranty.Excellent service!

I would say that the dealership gave me Red Carpet treatment and are Truly Exceptional in the way they treat me. Christopher Nielsen helped me with getting my 2015 Subaru Forester and being very helpful in guiding me through the paperwork. "Customer Service" Blank because! Lithia policy has dropped in Customer Service by taking the person out of personal. Service Advisor/technicians 5 Stars. I cant give overall rating. Answer variable based on below.In for repair/diagnostic 2006 Subaru Impreza Sport. Service Advisor A+. Over 100,000 miles decided did timing belt (chain) replacement to save day in the Service Department for the 105,000. Request repair and complete vehicle inspection. I could not have asked for better service. As regular customer at Herwaldt, now Lithia Subaru for 15 yrs. I have been well taken care of from service to new car purchase.I had my car in 10:00 am Monday July 20th-with the diagnostic/additional service requested things were found that needed attention. Car was ready end of day Tuesday. I was more than happy to leave to accomplish problems that were found/repaired.I was unhappy with was a "first" for me with Subaru. No loan car available, understandable so was sent to Enterprise for a rental and paid for the rental car. Payment wasnt issue, even the Enterprise person was surprised asking several times if I were sure Lithia was not covering. Talk with Service Manager told me that Lithia doesnt cover rentals but gave impression that if loan car was available I would have had one. After comment by Enterprise then asking Service Advisor, Lithia does pay for customer rental if car under Warranty (not been my experience years past). Lithia, (different than Herwaldt) values their new customers, (warranties) above the long standing loyal Subaru customer that comes in at every scheduled maintenance year after year on regular basis. 15 years I have been coming to this dealership/service dept. I have never paid for rental car. Subaru, 2006 Impreza Sport Wagon was purchased through dealerships Sales Managers-always beyond helpful. Having kept a regular schedule of maintenance both this Subaru and previous Subaru Outback Legacy, I have spent many hours in the Service Department over past 15 years and always felt more than a just a customer more like a welcome friend. That went a long way towards loyalty. Service was excellent, Service Advisor did everything and beyond to make sure I was satisfied customer. My car was brought up to the best driving standard possible by repair/preventative. Sales Manager was friendly but did not offer same level of personal care that I have had over the past 15 years. Herwaldt was a smaller dealership and Lithia as Corporate explains why the personal touch is missing. A large corporate company misses small but important things. Business is business no importance of customer recognition.I miss the personal I was accustomed to. Rental cost was minimal/affordable. But considering over $2,000 spent (this visit) knowing continued regular/maintenance leaves is a letdown as a valued customer (not covering a car for the day). So, I have dropped a notch, am not the "very important person," am out of warranty-older Subaru (even though purchased/maintained 100% at this dealership).Receive excellent SERVICE, my goal was accomplished 100% satisfactory. If I went to a Lithia dealership/service department other location I would not expect personal care, they dont know me, and I dont know them. Lithia should rethink the value of all customers, especially those with history at location i.e. loyal, longstanding. Therein lies the problem. I have dropped a notch with Lithia, Fresno Customer Care....Lithia has dropped a notch with me Customer Service. Service work and Service Advisor score EXCELLENT.Now, do you want to know how I really feel? :-)

Sunday morning with the family, shopping turn into the best car buying experience I've ever had. When we got to Lithia Subaru I just wanted to test drive two cars the WRX manual and cvt I asked if Victor Bravo was in but he out on a delivery, so they call him to tell him he had a customer waiting, but while I was waiting I was asked if I need anything and Victor was on his way. Once Victor showed up we test drove two cars and I love both, so I asked where do i sign! While I was going over number Victor was called away to help another customer. And then I was handed over to another sale person named Todd Harper long story short I didn't mind working with two sale men and Todd jumped in not missing a stride, he handled the paper work got may car washed and filled up my gas tank but what was really cool was my trade was in Madera and he drove me back to Madera to pick it up. And on delivery of the car Todd went over all the features of the car and showed me the dealership and where to take my car for service when needed. At the end I got bro hugs and hand shakes from the rest of the staff. I will be coming back for my next car when to time comes.

I had a pleasant experience purchasing a new 2015 Forrester from Lithia Subaru in Fresno. The salesman we worked with was Todd. He was friendly and competent. I felt like he listened to what we asked and gave us a fair deal. We were always treated respectfully. The finance person was likewise friendly and competent. He quickly solved problems when the office printer malfunctioned and got us done in a very efficient manner. All in all a pleasant car buying experience.

The steering wheel was still clean after the service. I didn't notice any grease or dirt stains on the running board from the mechanics shoes. And my seat wasn't moved back or forward by the mechanic.

A routine oil change and tire rotation was performed. There were no concerns in that area. In addition to bringing my car in for that service, there were also two abnormal noises that needed to be looked into (one of which I had brought my car in for before, but the sound was never located). Upon the technicians first drive in my car, the noises were not heard. He proceeded to look over the car to see if he noticed any possible issues. None were observed. Upon the second drive in my car (I pleaded that the noises do exist, which this time I rode with him). Luckily, he acknowledged the first sound immediately. The second noise did not occur until after driving at least 15 minutes and on the highway. The technician then began analyzing what the noises could be prior to even arriving back at the service department. He was bothered that I had brought the car in before and the noise not originally fixed. He made sure that the issue would be resolved. The dealership provided a rental car to me and thankfully, they were able to determine and fix what caused both noises within a 24 hour period.

The additional towing service we purchased when buying the car was invaluable. We live in a remote setting and in one tow it has paid for itself. The service was easy to use and very responsiveDealership service was acceptable. I had to call the dealership 3 times before getting a response. Each different service person I spoke with with very nice and courteous. The ability to get my vehicle in quickly with a determination with what was wrong and how long to fix it was very tedious. If it was not for my persistence I don't think my car would have been fixed that day. Once the car got in the garage it was fixed in a very short timeframe. I was expecting a little bit better service having purchased 3 new cars at this dealership over the last6-7 years.

I needed a new rubber pad for my clutch pedal and my oil light went on Saturday morning.So I stopped into the service department. They were prompt, very friendly and helpful, checked on the warranty, replaced the rubber pad and topped off the oil while I read the paper and had coffee inside. Extremely accommodating, professional and efficient. I was not charged for any of the work and every time I go there for service I am so impressed and happy.

Lithia Subaru of Fresno has done it again. I scheduled an appointment to have the 1175 mile maintenance service done on my wife's 2014 Outback using their efficient online computer system. I arrived a little early and was greeted promptly and courteously. I cannot believe the efficiency of the people and the dealership at Lithia Subaru. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner and I was out the door and on my way. Service took just a little longer than I expected, but was within good time. Waiting area is VERY nice with coffee, donuts and magazines. People were very friendly and helpful. Explanation of additional work was very good and they allowed me to make up my own mind as to whether I wanted the additional work completed.

My husband & I purchased an additional services contract in case of additional repairs when we purchased our 2013 Outback. I took my car in for an automatic scheduled service and was notified that one of my tires had a nail which could not be repaired. My Serviceman Norman informed me that due to my low tread use the new tire replacement was covered under our service contract. I was pleased with the good service and careful attention that was given for my regular inspection. I'm confident in my vehicle due to the quality of my Subaru and the continued care from their service department.

Our 2015 Cross Trek is the fourth Subaru we have gotten from this dealership. The entire process, from initial browsing to final signing has always been hassle free. No pressure, no gimmicks, great deals. And, of course, great cars that keep getting better. Our original 2005 Forester XT still looks and runs great. My son's 2015 Sti is his dream car. Experience started out terrible! (Travis Brown knows salesperson that was to aggressive, pushy and arrogant. We were leaving until Travis showed up with a more realistic attitude. We felt welcome to look, ask questions, take test drives to determine which Subaru was best for this time - and being able to do so made all the difference. They were all completed on-line, and I had to merely come up and sign paperwork. No more negotiations, just a lot of time spent by Chris going over the car. I highly recommend Lithia Subaru. I bought a new 2015 Legacy last week. No pressure was ever applied to me and I felt like I was in charge from the beginning to end. Chris Nielsen was my salesman. He was very friendly and helpful. He explained how all the features work on the car. We had reached an agreement on the price of the car over the internet--I was very happy with the price. I was turned over to Frank Perez so he could show me options I could purchase (extended warranty, oil changes, etc). I thought "here comes the pressure". But no! Frank showed me a list of options and asked if any appealed to me but that I did not have to buy any of them. I chose a couple of them and things moved fast. Walking around the showroom, I saw how other salesmen talked to customers. Everyone was so friendly and no pressure was applied. Lots of dealerships say they offer a "no pressure" approach, but most don't really mean it. Lithia Subaru does mean it.

Everything except the final sales pitch for GAP, Oil Change, and Extended warranty went well. Sarah was awesome. We were qualified for the 0.9% financing quickly. Had some wait time and then in to the finance manager to sign paperwork .......and a sales pitch for GAP insurance, Oil Change, and Extended warranty. Finance guy was friendly and efficient...I just didn't see the additional items coming until we were sitting down in his office. Should have stepped out of office and talked things over with the wife but we had been at dealership abit and feeling tired. Felt somewhat pressured. Finance guy just doing his job and I get that. Regret now about getting the Oil changes and the extended warranty. My bad. Overall, my experience with Lithia was good and will recommend to others.

This dog friendly service dept wins my business. They're busy and even having an appointment doesn't save you from a wait. But you can bring a dog into their waiting area which is pretty cool. Everyone is friendly & helpful and I really trust their work. Keep in mind that when your car is finished and you have your paperwork for the cashier, you aren't necessary finished waiting. ..

Although I think the Thule-made (I think...possibly Yakima) carrier for Subaru was a lesser product than they sell under their own name, just because of the connectors that are more permanent on the Subaru than adjustable on Thule or Yakima cross bars of the exact shape of the Subaru's, the staff installing the carrier was incredibly attentive, professional, and friendly. From Fernando, the parts guru to Frank, the General Manager, Mike, the service writer, and (I think it was) Peter, the technician they all were accommodating. Frank, Mike and Peter worked diligently to make the "universal fit" attractive. They certainly would not let us go out of the dealership with a shoddy structural connection. They were. to a man, exceedingly professional and exacting. Frank even suggested a different type of cross bars which he is ordering to see if the "universal fit" package of this extended top case would be better for us. Fact is, it won't matter. The modern top cases have latches that work better for ease of "on and off" and esthetic appeal than the ones supplied by the accessory suppliers to Subaru. But that is in no way reflective of the quality of service at this dealership.

After many months of researching different vehicles to buy, I decided to purchase a Subaru from Lithia Subaru in Fresno, CA. On their website it has the option of applying for a loan, but I found it kind of redundant because when I got there they had to run my credit again. What I thought would speed up the process didn't. After filling out the application, I did receive a call and email from a member of the dealership with a pre-approval for a vehicle. They didn't mention how much I was reap proved for, but that didn't matter too much to me. This was the only downside to the experience I had there. I was greeted by the staff promptly and soon we were test driving cars. The sales person was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Since I had already done my research on the vehicles that I was interested in, it wasn't hard for me to choose what I wanted. The paperwork was as expected, negotiating loans with banks, adding various things to the loan, etc. I knew it would take some time to go over everything. After all the paperwork was all done, they washed the car I had chosen and gave me a full tank of gas. The sales person, Tony, also went over some of the car's features with me before I left. He made sure I understood how the vehicle worked before I left the lot. Overall great experience here.

We normally purchase our cars from the same dealer, but we were unable to find what we were looking for. We had found a Jeep at this Fresno Subaru dealership. After speaking to the sales man John several times we informed him on Thursday evening 12/4 that we would be making the 2 hour drive first thing in the morning and that we already had cash for our purchase. Friday morning as we left our home town we called to let him know we were on our way. We spoke to two people that morniong and they let us know John was not in yet but he had let them know we were coming and we were even told that John had taken the car for a drive Thursday evening to make sure it was good to go. We drove two hours and as we were getting off the freeway John called and told us they just sold the jeep. Really??? since we were already there we went to the dealership anyway. John never showed his face. We did speak to the manager of sales and his responce was, "well did you go look in the jeep, the inside is not in great shape anyway." We knew the shape of the vehicle and it was perfect for our daughter. Thursday night we even offered to give our credit card to hold the jeep and John said, "no Worries", it will be here for you when you get here. My husband and I both took the day off work, put into actiohn a plan with my daughters teachers to surprise her, had cash in hand, drove 2 hours because we were told the car would be there and ready for us when we arrived.. WAY TO GO! Awesome Customer service!! NOT!!! Do not trust this dealership or there sales people..

Lithia was busy but we never felt abandoned while sales people helped others. Chris was very informative and helpful. We are having fun with all the "bells and whistles" the car has on it. We took it 150 miles for Thanksgiving and it was a godsend in some foggy patches. The features on the car helped navigate those foggy areas where we felt safer than ever before in similar situations.

I have had a wonderful purchasing experience at Lithia Subaru of Fresno. I was very impressed by Catarano Macareno and how he took great pleasure in educating me about the safety features of the Subaru Outback 2015. I test drove the Forrester once and the Outback twice. I still talk about the experience with my friends and family. Since, the vehicle I wanted with the features I wanted was not on the lot, Cat wanted to make sure I received the vehicle I really wanted. So, I basically ended up ordering my features. In this endeavor, I worked with Chris Nielsen and he was wonderful at explaining the features and the buying process. Waiting for the arrival of my Outback took patience. Once I got the word it was in, I set up an appointment with Chris to review and sign.The financing was easy. Chris took his time to review all of the features and assist with the setup of many features; from seat positioning to navigation set up. In a short week, I have been to Yosemite and the Central Calif Coast. It hugged the road very well and I felt it was solid and I was well protected. Getting 27/31 mpg. I love my Subie and looking forward to many more excursions.

Although I purchased my Subaru from Lithia, I have not used their Service Facility. I was heading out of town for work last week; I started my car and the dash lit up with warning lights. I had had a tune-up done at a non-Subaru shop the day before and something was wrong. Instead of returning to the shop that had done the work, I drove to Lithia. After telling my story to the Service Representative Michael, he contacted the other shop to find out what parts they had used. He and the Lithia technician soon discovered they had installed the wrong sparkplugs. They identified the problem and had it fixed that afternoon. Michael was a total professional; from the time I walked into his office, until he escorted me to the cashier to conclude our business. Absolutely first rate!Thanks!

Ed was great! I was debating between a Impreza or cross trek and the first day I was in there the deal didn't go through because I didn't have money to put down.. This was hands down the best car buying experience we could have hoped for! Mason Monson was our sales consultant. We were coming from out of state specifically to buy the Subaru Crosstrek with a manual transmission which was not available in the state we live in. After a few phone calls back and forth, the deal was made over the phone very quickly. He even sent pictures of the car to my phone! Mason came to get me and my family at the airport and was very attentive to our questions and knowledgeable about the car. Not only did we get a great deal on the car, we also got great financing through them too. The whole process went very smoothly and we couldn't be happier with the Subaru crosstrek. And to squeeze the buyer to the limits, when possible. No value judgement intended. It's the business. But this just *seemed* like a pleasure. We came in not intending to buy. And, we never fell in love with the car before the deal was made. So, it was going to be harder to screw us. But, Tony made the process smooth. If we got boned, it didn't hurt. I'd buy a car from him again in a minute. And will. The overall process at the dealership seemed comfortable and streamlined. We'll see about the after-sale service as time goes by. Thanks, Tony.

I brought my car in for it's second oil change and general service. It was fast and my wait time was comfortable and enjoyable. I drvie nearly 1.5 hours to get to Fresno from where I live, but they make the visit enjoyable at Lithia Subaru!

I started looking for a new Subaru Outback in Bakersfield, where I live and was unsatisfied by the local dealership so I checked out Lithia Subaru online and inquired about a couple of Outbacks they had listed. I received a reply from Chris Nielsen within the hour. The next day I called and we discussed what I was interested in and Chris invited me to drive up to Fresno. I drove up that evening in a Toyota Highlander and drove home happy in a 2015 Outback.

Very good experience buying a car for a change. Chris N was a pleasure to deal with. He was very patient with my wife as we test drove 2015 Outback and 2015 Forester. Chris was very thorough in explaining the features of each car.We chose Forester as it was more nimble and quick and lower price fit our price range. Chris was the only salesperson we dealt with. Our previous experience buying a car was having to deal with 4 or 5 high pressure salespeople at other dealers. Chris came up with a very good price without all the game playing. Finance guy was a very pleasant fellow and very easy to deal with also.

Lithia Subaru is a decent dealership. Mason & Sarah are awesome people. They'll go out of their way to help you out when purchasing your vehicle. However, they let me drive off the lot with only a half tank of gas. I shouldn't have to ask for what is listed on the sticker. The parts center is a good place to buy quality parts for your vehicle. Greg is really helpful & pretty cool down to earth guy that doesn't try to sell you the dealership. The customer lounge is clean & cool. I brought a laptop thinking my impreza would be in the shop for a couple hours & before I knew it Norm had me out of there by 8:30 am, when my service appointment was scheduled for 7:30 am. All in all lithia Subaru is a B+ dealership selling A+ quality vehicles. I love my Impreza & I always will remember the day I bought thanks to my family & the fine people I was fortunate enough to meet & deal with. Highly recommend Subaru!!

I only have 3000 miles on my new Impreza Sport Wagon and I've already had three tires replaced due to road hazards (nails and tree branches). I purchased my new care from Capital Subaru in San Jose but live closer to Fresno. Even though these dealerships are independent franchises Lithia went out of their way to support my needs. No hassle, great service and they even had their duty driver drop my wife and I off at Costco and picked us up when they were done. They replaced two tires and did my first oil change and it didn't cost me a dime. Best price ever...!!! I"ve used the service department twice now and am very pleased with Lithia. They have my business from now on for sure.

I wasn't planning on purchasing a vehicle for at least another year. However, I was in an accident in late June and my car was totaled. I was going to go with the same vehicle (Ford Escape) as I had been extremely pleased with it for over 10 years. However, since I had heard from friends that they loved their Subaru vehicles, I decided to give them a chance. Antonio Elenes at Lithia Subaru was fantastic. I had done my own research on the Subaru Foresters & I had a ton of questions. Antonio patiently explained everything on the Forester from the engine to the rear bumper. He was very thorough. The purchasing part of the process wasn't stressful at all. I highly recommend Antonio and the entire group at Lithia Subaru. I also highly recommend the Forester. The AWD and safety features are exactly what I was looking for. Not only do I feel safe, but it's a very comfortable ride. Not as noisy as my Escape. Very happy with my purchase.

My wife and I decided that she needed a new car and since I knew I was going to be the one to make the initial move I asked her if she knew what kind of vehicle she was interested in. I immediately suggested the Toyota Camry, as I knew these were reliable and fuel efficient. My wife went to to he Consumer Reports Book and decided she wanted a SUV and presented me with a few options. I chose the Subaru Outback because of the ratings and also because we know several people who already owned them and were happy with them. This led us to Lithia Subaru and Ed Monson. I made the initial phone call to Ed and explained the situation and he was wonderful from the start. He explained the difference in the various models to us and showed us all the options and took us for a test drive in two of the Outbacks to compare the V6 and 4 cylinder engines. He gave us some price quotes and we left and told him we were going to go over the financial figures at home that night and possibly come back the next day to make a decision. We did come back the next day and bought a different model with more upgrades and so far have been very happy with both the sale and the dealership at Lithia Subaru. Ed was absolutely wonderful. I cannot commend him enough for his patience, especially with my wife, to complete the sale of the car. I feel like I have known him all my life. Thanks again to Ed and all the people at Lithia Subaru.

Horrible and intimidating experience with Lithia's Subaru/Mitsubishi of Fresno. This statement is concerning my experience with Lithia's Subaru/Mitsubishi of Fresno. I own a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR, which I purchased from the dealership back in April 2012. I took in my vehicle to have it service on March 17 for 3 issues: Mitsubishi ECM recall, lifetime synthetic oil change, and my clutch was slipping. I had about 20k miles on it. The service advisor that was assigned to me was Normand Pelletier. This is the first time I went in for clutch issues. The ECM and oil change was done with no issues of course, however the clutch was basically out according to the service technician. The dealership stated that it was standard procedure to get warranty claim on the vehicle initially if it is still under warranty. Which, I don't understand why they even do on clutches or what they consider normal wear and tear item. Mitsubishi or the area manager for Mitsubishi simply denied the claim from the start due to the fact that clutches are normal wear item and they do not cover it unless it can be proven that a failure within the engine/transmission caused the clutch to prematurely fail. On the other hand, the dealership was making accusation right from the start that I abused my vehicle without any factual information. The notion abuse is extremely subjective in this case. It is a performance vehicle and I do drive it to its fullest once in a while, however I do not abuse my car. If they think that going full throttle on the highway at times then I guess 99% of all car owners should be accused for abusing their car. The area manager stated that because my car was modify and that's one of the reason why my claim was deny. If clutch wasn't under warranty, then why mention other factors such as aftermarket modification and driving habits. It's plain and simple. The clutch is not under warranty unless there are proof that failure in other parts of the motor caused the clutch to fail. I went ahead and asked the dealership to take apart the transmission and see what really was going on. According to the technician, the clutch was out due to driving habits. I'm not going to lie on this that I don't drive my car for fun, but I've never gone to the track, drifting off or on road. Maybe if I drove the car like a granny this whole time, the clutch would have lasted me 2 times as long, but it went out at 20k. So I decided to just forget about the warranty and it's mostly likely my driving habits that cause the clutch to go out at 20k. The dealership quoted me at $2229.17 for parts in labor. All the parts includes pressure plate, bearing, disk and flywheel. Labor was approximately $1256 and parts were $898. I decided to purchase an aftermarket clutch kit and flywheel (Competition stage 2) and have them install that instead. I figure why not upgrade to something different and better when they are doing it already and it's going to cost me over $1200 for labor. So I decided to order the parts on March 24th and all of it came in a little over a week later on April 1st. The part was brought into the dealer around noon on April 2nd and hopefully to get my car at the end of the next day. The job was quoted to be around 9.9 hours and they are Mitsubishi dealership with some of the most qualify people for their job. I called back 2 days later to check up on my car and it wasn't fully complete. That is over 20 hours of labor that was put onto the vehicle given that it was already disassemble and all that needs to be done was to install the parts and put the transmission back together. The technician noticed that it wasn't feeling right when he tested drive the car so he had to reopen the transmission/clutch again. Now there's only 2 conclusion here. Either the tech. messed up or there's a defect on the part, which I don't know yet at this time.

After looking in the paper, checking Craig's list then checking dealers websites, we decided to go to Subaru of Fresno on Blackstone near Barstow. We made an appointment with Russell for last Saturday and ended up buying a 2014 Forrester. We both are very pleased with the salesman, credit manager and the rest of the staff as we were there a while. Had to bring it back in on Tuesday to get scotchgard and sealing done-the service dept is friendly and curtious. We(my wife & I) started our day at CarMax looking for a late model new car, and because we had done some research, we were looking for a Subaru. However, they only had one on the lot and it had far more miles than we wanted and was not the model we wanted, so we moved on. We then came to the Subaru agency and met John. He was very friendly, thoroughly explained things, and eager to show us around. We looked at two used Foresters in the back of the lot, but they both had over 70,000 miles and we didn't really want that. He showed us three different models and we were really impressed with the Forester model with the adjustable front seat (my wife is 5 ft. Tall and it is much more convenient for her). We had to leave to get something to eat, but told John that we would be in touch. After a late lunch, we decided to look at a Mazda 5. The salesmen there was a little overbearing for each of us, but he talked us into a drive. Neither one of us were all that impressed with the all around vision and the comparatively rough ride. When we returned to the dealership, he quoted us a price and said this is a really good deal and if we didn't take it now, we would be out of luck. With that, we left. We then called John to see if we could drive the Forester. He said yes, and so we went back to the Subaru show room. When both Sandy and I drove it, both of us were so impressed with the all around vision when driving. Also, the ride and comfort was far superior to the Mazda. John was especially good at explaining things about the car and answering our questions. Sandy is quite knowledgable about interior design and color, since she was an interior designer for several years herself. You did have one on the lot that answered all her needs and made us both happy. John and I worked together on coming to a satisfactory purchase price. So Sandy and I moved to the office of Jerry Stockdale to do the finance part the deal. Jerry was friendly and seemed to be very knowledgeable. He convinced us to purchase the added safety and security service. We have already used that service by some bad luck of having a flat tire (a nail) while driving on the #168 freeway in the rain. We called on our cell phone to the number on our card, a service man came and replaced the flat with the spare, and we were on our way. The next day we drove to your garage and the tire was fixed and we were on our way again. Who would have thought that with only 725 miles on a new vehicle that we would be using that service. We were very impressed and thankful to have purchased that added service. Also, I must tell you that we love to drive our Forester! The drivers seat is so comfortable and the lumbar adjustment is wonderful.

Hassle free experience, after a nightmare at Groppetti in Visalia we went to Fresno Lithia Subaru. Chris Nielsen was very knowledgable with all aspects of our car buying experience. He was able to answer all of our questions with each model we looked at and never tried to pressure us while we shopped or during negotiations. Non of that back and forth with another manager. We started with the Costco purchase option when we started but Lithia provided a better discount. Our trade in option also went well, we got a fair offer on our trade in and the deal went smooth. Having just purchased a 2014 Subie OB from Lithia, I was grateful for the staff's willingness to work with me not only with the sales price, but with obtaining the car and adding the accessories I wanted. The entire experience left me feeling like my needs were heard and that both parties were being reasonable with all negotiations. Kudos to Grant in the warranty department for his knowledgable, soft-sell, value-added approach toward extended warranties. In all my interactions with staff, I was pleasantly surprised that I could trust their intent to work with me and honor my requests to the best of their ability. First of all my salesman was awesome (Chris Nielsen) he helped me buy a car for my wife and son on the same day and worked very hard to make a very complicated deal very easy for me. I'm not impressed at all with the service dept. I have had two Subarus serviced here and had to bring the cars back every time for very basic, obvious things. I had the timing belt changed on my 2004 legacy but when I got it home the drive belt was installed incorrectly so rather than drive it back I had to fix it myself so as to not cause damage while returning to Lithia Subaru. This may not seem like much but when you have them do such an important job and see simple, stupid mistakes you wonder what else they may have missed. This kind of damaged my confidence in Lithia service but I figured I would give them another chance when we bought or 2009 Impreza. I brought it in for an oil change and they informed me that there was a recall on the emission program in the ECU so I had them take care of it. When I picked up the car it idled rough and almost stalled every time I stopped at a light. I had to bring it back two more times, the second time the mechanic got in the car with me to test drive it, before we left the parking lot it was immediately obvious to him that it wasn't running right and he said he must have forgot to run it at idle long enough for the computer to recalibrate. But this was the second time I brought it back after the original service!!!! It seems to me that if they had any type of quality control system in place all of my problems would have been caught before leaving the shop!!!! I'm just about to my 60000 mile service but I don't care if I have to drive a hundred miles and get a hotel, I won't be taking my cars back to Lithia Subaru!!!

I was shopping around the entire state of California for a new Legacy Limited 2.5 loaded...to my surprise Fresno Subaru had as big or bigger selection of Legacys than the biggest dealerships in California; including Irvine, San Francisco and Sacramento. I did not feel like I had to drive 4 hours away for a deal, so I thought I'd give Fresno a shot at earning my business.
