The customer service here is superb! Nicolas helped me over the phone answering all questions I had and trying to meet all my needs, but because of my schedule he had set me up with his coworker Ryan, which I must say was great as well! This place shows great teamwork. Ryan was so nice and helping. First appearance is everything to me and he put his best foot forward in greeting and welcoming my family. My daughter and boyfriend didn’t feel left out the whole process. He made the whole process of buying my brand new 2021 Lexus quick. Also, he made sure to set the car up for me with all of its features before I drove off and followed up after my purchase. I must say this is my third car purchase and by far the experience here I had was the best. If you’re looking to get a Lexus come and talk to Ryan and Nicolas! You won’t be disappointed. On top.. the manager is pretty funny!

The sales and finance people all acted very professional throughout the process. When I picked up my car, there was someone who took the time to walk me through all the features, and the paperwork that needed signing was prepared and ready to go. With regard to the trade in, I was given a very fair price. The entire process from start to finish was easy and there was no hassle. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

I am truly a Lexus girl and their service department is the main reason why. They are always eager to do what ever it takes to make my visit well worth my time and I always leave knowing that my car is in tip top condition. My service attendant is always great, very courteous and interested in making sure all of my concerns are addressed. Today I realized why I didn't return to Lexus of Tampa Bay for the past two and a half years. The service time was atrocious. I was told that my wait time would be an hour. One hour later I was told that it would be another hour. At almost four hours after my appointment time, the car was ready. I used to take my car to Toyota of Tampa Bay but since my long term service manager left, I thought I would return to the regular dealership. Last time I will be going back. There is no regard for the time of the clientele. The service manager was nice but didn't seem efficient or effective.

I was a customer of Lexus for approx 13 years. I'm an older man who has only driven Lexus autos until this year. One of their salesmen, for whatever reason, decided he would not return any of my tele calls. Yes, I did call his office, his cell, and left messages. I even spoke to the receptionist, to no avail. I'll never go back!! Their loss!!

I found a great car and walked out of dealership all done for same cost as ES 350. One year old RC 350 with 6K miles. Sweat deal and great staff made it happen. Buying process was excellent - salesperson bent over backwards to get me into a Lexus. Every person I have dealt with has been very respectful and they follow up on every service call. Unless they forget to record your service call. Initial inspection (1st service call) took over 5 and 1/2 hours, 10,000 mile/1 year service (oil change and snap in 2 warranty replacement trim pieces (defective) - was told should be less than 90 minutes, was still there 2 and a half hours later.

Customer friendly facility and system for purchase and servicing. No high pressure wheeling/dealing. The Lexus I bought met my expectations: the collision avoidance PCS (automatic braking), intelligent cruise control, rain sensing wipers, navigation system, auto hi/lo headlights, rear video with traffic sensor, blind spot warning, etc., work very well: they are must haves in this day and age, because they work so well.

I am a snow bird and had planned to buy an RX-350 in the Chicago area. The car I wanted could not be fought or available up north and I was advised that I would have to wait until the 2017 year was out or settle for a car with less features and options then I wanted. As a last resort on short vacation to Florida I called Tampa Bay Lexus who located the car I wanted outside their normal dealer network. By negotiating the transportation fees to bring it to Florida we were able to make a deal. I couldn't be happier with my new Lexus even though the negotiating process was challenging the end result was worth the effort.

I purchased a used 2014 GS350 from Lexus of Tampa Bay. I was a bit disappointed as only 2 of the 3 items I requested to be repaired were repaired. The dealership was in transition regarding where their inventory and sales offices were located which caused some confusion. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle after the repairs there was confusion regarding where the keys to my vehicle were. I waited 20 minutes only to find the key fob was in the car. Apparently no one asked the service guy because he was the one who finally came and got me and took me to my car. One item required gluing and there were glue spots on the rear seat which hadn't been removed. I could understand if this was a Ford or Chevy dealership, but this is a Lexus dealership and I expected better.

It was a great experience at Lexus at Tampa Bay. We went to do some test drive the new IS200T 2016 and end up with two cars on the same day: 1 lease and the other was financed. Our sale representative (Luis Fragoso) was awesome. He explained all details about the car and its options and we even got some promotions and free protection plans from the finance manager too.

We went looking for a new car on May 18th and Lexus was one of our first stops. We had limited time. We explained that we were only beginning to look that day and needed to test drive and get numbers. We said exactly what we were looking for in a new car. After 1 1/2 hours of meeting people who kept coming to say hello we went out to the car. The sales guy drove "to a safe place to test it" with me in the back seat because my husband couldn't fit there. After a mile I said "let's go back, I've seen enough". It took another 1/2 hour as well as the threat of walking to get some numbers. The finance guy made a rude noise at my suggestion that we leave and they email the numbers if they needed to keep discussing it together.One week later we secured our new Lexus at Lexus of Sarasota!PS My husband says there is no need to belabor it....they were just awful.

All though, we probably needed all the things that were done to my vehicle, my husband and I, were shocked to hear that we would have to pay $5,000. plus on servicing our vehicle. And the reason is because I only went in for a 5 yr. check-up on the vehicle; the recalls on the vehicle; the oil change and tires, because I want to keep this vehicle for years to come. Then we get hit with all these other things that needed to be done.I was very happy with my vehicle, until this last service. The pricing in servicing the vehicle alone can kill you. And in plain words, even if it is a luxury car, the vehicle is just a High end Toyota.Parts were almost reasonable, but SERVICE CHARGE on the vehicle was UNREAL and ABUSIVE to the extreme. It took out of us, (the Luxury part). The reason why you would take a 9 yr. old car to the Dealership, where it was purchased, is to maintain the original parts of this vehicle. Even with a discount of $250, it does not justify the ridicules service charge price that I just paid.It would have been a great detail on Lexus part, if I was given the choice, based on the repair price, if we wanted all the work done, or even if I wanted to continue with these repairs or maybe if they all needed to be done at the same time. Because it was not an emergency nor a car crash, it was only preventive maintenance. Part of it needed to be done but the rest was not in the budget at the time. But that was not the case.You see , we only use this vehicle for long trips, and It never gave us reason to believe that it need all that work. I knew it need oil change; new tires and of course the recalls.Let's be reasonable, we are close to our retirement and we need to save for our future and that means that we have to be very careful of how we spend our money and when we spend our money.As you can tell, we are unhappy with this shocking experience. I recently had my 2013 ES350 in for its 30,000 mile checkup; and my experience was excellent, My service advisor is Scott Banta, and he and his team are professional, courteous, thorough and prompt. I was given a loaner while my ES350 was being serviced, and a young man, Isaac, brought my ES350 to my office and picked up the loaner. He could not have been more courteous. Took my car after accident on Feb.12, 2016. Promised repair in one month. After 10 days found car in parking lot and was never touched. Dave the service rep said they had no room in shop. Will start next week. 3rd week March promised car will be done by month end. Month end, car just getting painted. By mid Feb. painting done but have electrical problem and needed to take car to Dealer service. After week visited dealer to find they had car a week and have not touched it. Another week later car back to collision center but have a problem with front bumper paint job. Need a couple days to fix. Called after 7 days to find Dave on vacation and no one can talk to me. Called Dave the next week to find paint is done, now buffing out. Also found bad tire on passenger year. (not part of accident). Took 3 days to fix tire, which would take me 2 hours. Picked up car on Saturday 4/30/16. Looks pretty good. Dives nice. Sunday found front bumper object sensors do not work. Called the 5/2. Dave out sick. We are at 5/4 no return call which is the norm. Have been in contact with Lexus USA. A rep Lisa was assigned to me. She is worthless. Told me they have no authority over dealers. Would help we on a trade of my car if I wanted it. Said "by law" they have no authority over dealers. "yea right". That's why the have a corporate head questers and customer rep's and VP's running around the country checking on dealers. Also two emails to GM and no response. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Majority of the people that work at this dealership have no people skills. They don't know how to relate. I understand it is a sales environment but if you can't work with your customers, then the customers need to go somewhere else and you, the worker should not work selling cars. I came to this dealership only because i didn;t want to drive to orlando, sarasota, or clearwater. Going in, i knew this dealership had problems based on what others have told me. Most of it is true. If you have a game plan and stick to it, do not let them deter you. If the #s dont feel right, walk out.

Just moved to Tampa from Atlanta, and brought my Lexus in for normal maintainance service. Coming from Nalley Lexus maybe our expectations were too high. The experience was not even close to Nalley. First, took over 2.5 hours to have normal service. Then they found issue that was going to be over $3,000 , that employee "broadcasted " to me in front of all other poor souls sitting in the pen area. You are made to feel uncomfortable, service area is too crowded, with no privacy to discuss your car issues with service tech. I declined having them do the repairs even after numerous attempts from pushy service tech to have these done. I hope to find another Lexus dealer in area.

Initially I was greeted by a lovely sales person named Esther. I made it very clear to her that at 69 I wanted the lowest number without all the games with the car I selected. I also said I wanted the info within a short period of time.We were there for 3 hrs.She knew her cars and I took a test drive of 2 models.Very satisfied I called my husband to see the cars.Esther said she had an appointment and sent a young sales person who couldn't answer any of our questions after competing a test drive of a sportier model..We went into the lot and he could explain the differences between the models.I asked to see a manager because we knew th car we wanted to purchase.We waited about another 1/2 hour.Michael was convincing after checking into deals from Lexus and had the car we were trading, a Jaguar.More numbers.Finally a monthly lease payments.He said it was his best price and gave us a print out.By the time we left we were completely exhausted and we're going home to make a decision.The next day we received a call from Michael asking us to come back because he had a lower number.Really now!We made it totally clear that we wanted the best priceOn our first visit.He was deceptive and that's why we wouldn't purchase the car. We were very disappointed after having wasted 3 hrs of our time.We're purchasing another Jaguar where professionalism and honesty prevailed..We were there for under an hour..

I expected a superb experience going to a Lexus dealer. I had anything but! Upon entering the showroom I was greeted but things go downhill. I was looking for a specific model and showed myself around and someone behind a desk asked if I needed something and I said yes-looking for this model and she replied-I have no idea!!! You have to find a sales person!!!! She showed no concern for us at all. Finally a salesperson showed up and had little knowledge about anything!!! I was sooooo disappointed about my experience that I almost don't want to buy a Lexus!!! I definitely do NOT recommend this dealer!!!

I purchased my Rx 350 four months ago at Lexus of Tampa Bay. All but the buying of the vehicle has been the quality one would expect if you had purchased your car from a buy here pay here lot. The people making the appointment were rude and unprofessional. When asking for a full detail she would repeat back " a wash comes with the service" after this happened a few times I asked her if her full detail and wash were the same? She said no. But a full detail takes all day. I told her that I as aware of the and I wanted to secure a loaner vehicle . That is why I was making my appointment in advance. Fast forward... I get to my schedule appointment on time only to be told that there are no loaner vehicles because they do not have enough but the they would shuttle me to Enterprise to get a loaner vehicle at their expense. At this point I have no choice.. When selecting a car at Enterprise... I am told that Lexus only pays for a certain car and offered me a Chystler sedan that was dirty and smelled like stale smoke. I didnt accept it. They had to call Lexus to get me approved for a Somata. Lexus of Tampa Bay provided the WORST experiences dealing with a dealership that I have EVER had. I will driving an extra hour to go to Lexus of Clerwater...the customer service manger assured me that I will not endure any of the level of service I endured at Lexus of Tampa Bay..

We had spent several weeks looking to replace our 2002 ES 300 and were already resigned to the idea that a newer ES was simply out of the price range of what we were willing to spend. Consequently, a Lexus dealership was generally removed from our radar and we'd begun leaning toward Infiniti. We ended up stumbling on car.com listings for a several cars that seemed to have all the features and price range we were looking for. 5 of the 6 we bookmarked happened to be at Lexus of Tampa Bay. We were kindly greeted and marvelously treated by salesman Issac Mammen. He patiently allowed us to alternately test drive multiple cars, multiple times - at our leisure, was very knowledgable and - most notably - with NO hard court press! We actually had FUN car shopping without having to endure the typical car salesman smarminess. Though he was knowledgable, he didn't hesitate to find an answer for questions he was unsure of rather than simply making something up. (This was such a relief after encountering salesmen that did this - assuming we didn't know any better) As was a (secret) possibility going in, we ended up buying both of the cars we were initially most interested in. Issac was very easy-going and once we told him we wanted both cars, made sure we were comfortable with such a big decision. He stayed with us and answered questions beyond the financing process and well after the Sunday closing time. We bought 2010 model years ES 350 & Infiniti M35. We've had them for a week now and couldn't be more in love! The Lexus feels like you're floating on air and is super quiet! The hubby is enjoying the more "manly"-type handling of his Infiniti. All the tech in both cars is surprisingly current as well. Navigation, Blue tooth, etc. All in all, we had a wonderful buying experience. Ask for Issac if you don't want a hassle :)

Although I have only had my NX200T F sport for only 7 days I can say with all honesty I made the right decision in my purchase. In all the years I have purchased vehicles I have never had a dealership or sales person call to check on me. Nor have I ever had one go above and beyond to insure I receive assistance without inconvenience...until my experience with Lexus of Tampa Bay. My purchase was easy and I was satisfied with my nigotionated price. My only regret is I didn't listen to my mom, who has own a Lexus for 20 plus year', about buying one sooner. I want to share my poor experience I had with Lexus of Tampa Bay. I found a used car they were advertising that I liked and set up an appointment to come see it. I live in the Orlando area and drove my car down that I was going to trade in. When I arrived I was told by Josh Foster the used car sales manager, that the trade in price that my sales rep and I agreed on was in fact not what he agreed on and that he would only give me $1 for my car. I should have have realized how dishonest he was at that time and left, however I really liked the car and proceeded to purchase it. The sales rep that I had was very helpful I will add. The next day after returning home I heard a noise coming from the right front wheel. Day 2 the noise got louder and I stopped by my local mechanic to have him check it out. He reported that the lower engine mount was broken and the CV axel was stripped out where it connected to the front wheel, It was un-drivable. He also noted an oil leak. I called Josh Foster and told him what was going on, the amount, and he said to have the shop fix it and they would reimburse me. As the repair was being accomplished the mechanic also noted that the wheel bearing was all rusted and not safe. The total bill was just over $1700. I emailed the bill to Mr. Foster and he said that he would only pay for $1000 of the bill because the bearing was not what we agreed upon and that I "needed to check my math because I added it up wrong". We had not discussed the wheel bearing because it was not yet discovered. I looked at the 50 point inspection that was supposedly done before I got the car and all this should have been caught. (Their were a couple other minor things they missed also) After I pointed out HIS math error, he sent me a check for $1234.00 and I had to take care of the rest. It's sad that a Lexus dealer would stoop that low and treat me the way they did. The unprofessional attitude from Mr. Foster was unacceptable. I had a 3 day return policy but since the repair was beyond that they would not return the car. I hope others read this and take their business elsewhere, to a dealer that treats their customers professionally.

The car was used, and sold as is with no warranty, however One would expect a vehicle to last longer than two days without a huge repair bill. Buyer beware and have an independent mechanic inspect any vehicle prior to purchase. ***UPDATE***After threatening legal action against me for the reviews, I contacted an attorney also and was Advised that if I had written everything truthfully and stated the whole story, I had nothing to worry about. The general Manager contacted me the next day apologizing that I had not got the refund that we agreed on earlier. josh foster had not done what he was told...we agreed on splitting the difference and Lexus sent me a check for $260 and I removed the BBB complaint. I am happy with the outcome and think they acted fairly. Thank you Lexus Of Tampa Bay.

The "pursuit of perfection" rings absolutely true for this dealership. I just purchased a new RX and couldn't be happier with this car. Two years ago I ended up trading the LS I owned and loved for ten years for another make. I had considered the RX and had talked with Nina at the time but decided not to purchase. She was gracious and wished me well with my new car. That car no longer fit my needs so I returned to Lexus. I went back to Nina and was welcomed back by both Nina and my former service advisor, Ginger. There was no pressure, they truly wanted to make sure it was the right car for me. I had leased a Lexus previously, and Lexus always provides the best customer service. Lexus of Tampa Bay was no exception. Alex Junco, our sales rep was one of the best we have worked with. He was not a typical "car salesman" and his customer service went even beyond the purchase. He is a great asset to the Lexus of Tampa Bay team. The sales manager did a great job as well on finding the exact car I wanted, at a price I could agree on. I only gave it a 4 instead of 5, due to I think the auto industry needs to improve their car purchase process so we are not at the dealership for hours. I think a more automated process will provide an even better customer experience. Lexus could lead this trend.

Chose this dealer because of preferred status by my insurance company. Excellent service and updates, clean facility,easy arrangement for rental while car was being repaired. Only glitches were wrong part delivered/ordered which caused a delay over a weekend that extended the repair almost a week. Car was delivered to my home by flatbed when finished ,but unfortunately had a dead battery 2 hours later when I went to use it. The car looks like new,and came back very clean.

I have a 2006 Lexus that has had problems for the last several years. The lights on the dash intermittently come on and off and it has a very poor idle. Sometimes, the car takes a while to even drive because of the poor idling and stalling. I've taken it to them several times over the course of the last two years but the lights weren't on when it arrived and they told me unless the lights are on, we can't see what the problem is. I don't live near the dealership so everytime the lights came on by the time I scheduled an appt, the lights were off. Finally, my local service man told me to bring it in when the lights came on and he would scope it for me. The lights came on again and stayed on. Took it to the local guy who told me what the problem was and said there was a service bulletin and an extended warranty for unlimited mileage and 7 year extension, naturally, of which I'm just outside of that warranty period. I only have 50K miles on this car. Lexus denied the claim even though they were well aware that the piston system in all these cars were faulty and why they were forced to extend the warranty. I'm considering a class action as I've since found many many people with this problem and Lexus has refused to fix it. I thought that we would have been better at taking care of their customers. Will NOT be purchasing another Lexus and especially from this dealership.

My goal was to find a used hard-top comfortable fun to drive and with little miles as possible and in great condition and for as low a cost for the car that I could find. I shopped many dealers as well as one private owner and I found my car I was looking for at Lexus of Tampa Bay. I bought their used Volvo C70 hard top convertible. I met a sales staff that were not only really pleasant to talk to, but no pressure and very professional in their explanations and showmanship. I was provided choices between used Lexus cars as well as the one I was after and eventually purchased my fun car that I love driving. Even after my purchase, I went back to obtain more paperwork that I will use to help me learn more about my car. For that follow up Esther provided me, I thought was very valuable and helpful to me. So I thank her for her professionalism and top-notch sales follow through. I was on my way to renew my car tag and having the day off decided to stop at Lexus of Tampa to check on a Lexus car. The salesman Moe Awada welcome me and right away took to me look at some use Lexus car knowing I do not like color grey for a car. He found me a white 2013 IS250 fully loaded with low mileage which I really like a lot and not sure if I can afforded it. Within2 days he got with his higher boss and did work out so I can purchase the car at a price I can afford with low interest rate. Moe even got my keys set up so when I unlocked my car my windows would roll down and show me how to use GPS and Bluetooth.. I was very impressed with Moe and his willingness to assist me in getting this car that I have enjoyed having and riding in it. Everyone at Lexus were very helpful and greeted me each time I arrive with willingness to help.

Recently on 8/4/15 the following lights came on and stayed on "ECT", "ABS", "BRAKES", "EBRAKE", and the triangle orange warning light with a warning message in the center of the gage cluster . "Stop the car immediately and notify your dealer. I tried to contact my service rep, Ginger Williams, to ask if it was safe to drive the 66 miles to Lexus of Tampa Bay, or should I have it towed. Another rep answered and said Ginger is with a customer, I will give her the message and have her call you back. After two hours of waiting, I called again and received the same service rep and I asked if Ginger was in. She said, "Ginger is in, I will transfer this call to her". I did not get to talk to Ginger Williams because I received her voice mail. I briefly described the problem, and asked for her to call back to see if the car could be driven, or had to be towed to Lexus of Tampa Bay. I don't even think of going to Lexus of Orlando, because of past bad experiences. After another hours wait, I finally called my local Toyota dealer, who assured me that the car could be driven. They diagnosed the problem as a faulty ABS Actuator, ordered the part and fixed the problem. I have yet to hear from Lexus of Tampa Bay 4 weeks after the two calls. This also happened in March when I was leaking radiator fluid from a water pump that had to be replaced, two calls and no response. The non response to customers that don't know whether the problem they have is major or minor is not what I expected from a luxury car dealership whose motto is "The Pursuit of Perfection" .

Great service, everyone looks and acts professional. You don't have to waste a lot of time haggling over prices. Everything is straight forward, no oversell, which as a woman I really appreciated. My husband is a researcher and knew what he wanted and what would be the best car for us, however I would feel comfortable if I went alone. This is our second purchase at Lexus Of Tampa Bay. Eduardo, was our sales rep and did a wonderful job. Kind, considerate and knows the Lexus Product line. You not rushed. Been buying cars for 57 years, so I've been (mis)treated to most of the auto industry's nasty tricks. Lexus of Tampa Bay hardly missed a nasty trick when my wife and I went to purchase a used Volvo. We owned a like-new 2005 Honda S2000 - a truly high performance, genuine sports car very much in demand by young men (I'm 77 going on to 29!) so this car can be re-sold quickly, and very profitably. So here's the sad rip-off story. 1) Larry low-balls the trade. As proof of the low-ball, 5 days later I sold the S2000 to local dealer for 45% more than Larry's offer. Lexus, after my complaint to Autonation - the corporate parent - admits "Larry made a mistake. Sure!!! The mistake was failing to figure out that us old folks know when we're being robbed at pencil point! 2) The Volvo has about $1,500 of undisclosed damage to front bumper valence. It's a good laugh in hind sight after hearing how their used cars go through a multipoint inspection. Sure, but do they get repaired? 3) they try to slide in an extra $900.00 of upholstery and paint protection even though I specifically told the salesman I do not pay for such rip-offs. Read my lips - I told you I'm a retired Wall Street Financial Analyst so I know when you are trying to foist $10.00 worth of Scotch Guard and Aerospace 300 off on me for $900 bucks. That's a known industry abuse and plain stupid salesmanship to boot. 4) they tell my wife the S2000's front tires are worn out. I had local Honda dealership inspect the S2000 one week prior to visiting Lexus of Tampa. I had the print out in the Honda showing 50% life remaining on the front tires. This one amounts to factual, provable mis-statement of fact!. 5) Larry refused to budge one $ on price of the Volvo, so we walked. Next morning Larry callsed to ask what they can do on price to get a sale. The answer is not fit to print. 6) Autonation corporate customer relations department refuses to answer repeated calls with my specific requests (3 times) for a call-back. As a retired Wall Street Guru who analyzed corporations around the globe for 40 years, I think I'm qualified to give Autonation, and this dealer, a solid SELL AND RUN FOR YOUR LIFE rating.

I was researching cars for a month and narrowed it down to two dealerships with 3 used cars at one and 2 at the other. We visited Lexus of Tampa first because they had the 3 on their lot. Loren was great. He didn't try and talk anything up and just allowed us to look at the cars and make our decisions on narrowing down our choices to one car. We then took a test drive and he used that time to talk about purchase options and other warranty packages. This was time well spent as I played around with the radio and heated seats :)We decided this was the car for our family and we sat down with Loren to talk payment options as he sent the car back to get washed. It's always a pleasure going to Lexus of Tampa Bay to get my RX300 serviced. While getting outstanding service on my vehicle, I enjoy their new coffee machine and donut. It also gives me the opportunity to read the newspaper or a magazine. Very relaxing atmosphere. NOTE: One time I had brakes done at another repair shop as it was closer to my home. The pads only lasted about a year because they did not use CERTIFIED Lexus parts. The costs at this shop was about the same as it would have been if I'd taken it to Lexus.

My 2005 Lexus RX 350 was serviced and the tires rotated by Lexus of Tampa Bay in less than an hour. They also washed the car and cleaned the inside, including removing a haze that was bothering me on the inside of the windshield. My representative let me know that I will probably need new brake linings in a few months, but he said that they are okay now. The waiting room is very comfortable and includes a space for watching TV, a room with available computers, and a quiet area for reading or working. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Entire process was efficient with no surprises. Facilities are modern with an delightful ambiance and amenities. The certified used RX 350 was immaculate, cleaned and full of gas. It literally looks brand new, inside and out. Our MASTER sales associate, Arnell Howard, was personable (great sense of humor) and professional as were all personnel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our only negative comment: "We wish we had done this years ago!!!"

Seles experience was divided among a couple of sales people, not because their fault but necase of mine. The gentleman that showed the EA 350 to my wife was very knowlegable and courteous. He knew the answer to every question. He told us that the credit inquiry would be a soft hit. Lexus did a hard hit on my credit which I didn't like. That was the only blemish in the process. I saw my self almost forced to buy Lexus, but the truth is that the deal they offered me was sweet.

I have been looking at purchasing a Lexus for quite a while but totally intimidated by the entire process. The idea of going to a dealership for a test drive only to be given the entire "let me get my manager" sales pitch, the back and forth negotiating - just not my cup of tea. We just bought a "new to us" car. It is late model and in very good shape with the exception of a few minor scrapes. We worked with Rey Sousa who took us to the service department to see how much could be done. They buffed them out 95% or better. Rey worked hard with us to get us the best trade in on our BMW 650 and a fair price on the new vehicle. We were always treated very respectfully and not like we had no idea of how the car industry works. The only problem was that we worked the deal on a Sunday that just happened to be very busy so i took more time than it should have but.... stuff happens! Thanks Rey.

I purchased my 4th Lexus from Lexus of Tampa Bay. My first (3) ES300, RX300, & RX330 were all bought new. I just purchased my first Pre-Owned RX350 from Lexus of Tampa Bay. I had done my "due diligence" from the website before I went to the Pre-Owned Tampa lot. As I was walking around looking at the 3 RX350's that I was interested in, the nice salesman Rey Sousa approached me and asked if I needed any help. I told him what I was interested in and he was so helpful. He immediately said let's take your favorite one out for a test drive. I had basically decided I really wanted the 2011 RX350, Black Exterior & Beige Interior, with 35,000 + miles, and 3 yr. 100,000 mile warranty. After a short test drive, I said "this is the one" Rey!. We did a cash deal, and by 3 pm that day I was driving off the lot with my car. I can't say enough about how helpful Rey Sousa, and all the others involved at Tampa Bay Lexus Pre-Owned were. I am very skeptical when it comes to dealerships. I recently started looking to buy a new vehicle and went to a couple dealerships around Tampa only to walk away with a bad experience or them trying to play games. My experience with Lexus of Tampa Bay was absolutely the best I have ever had. I did not feel pressured and felt like they gave me the best deal they possibly could. I bought my car from Renato on their previously owned lot and he has been absolutely amazing even after I signed the papers and drove my car home. I went in that day just to look at a car they had on the lot without the intention of buying, but they offered me a deal I could NOT refuse. They also promised to fix a few things on the car that needed fixed and as soon as they received the parts they worked with me to get my car in for service. Alex in the service department there is just as great. I was sitting there while he went to bring my car to me and I had 3 employees get up from there desks to ask if I had been helped or needed anything. Even when I was picking up my car Renato came over to the service department to make sure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Lexus of Tampa Bay should definitely be 1st. on your list when buying a new or used vehicle. My husband purchased a car for me there 2 weeks ago. Having family in the hospital time is of the essence. My husband set an appointment up to 'drop off' the car, I drove all the way to the dealership sat for an hour then was offered a loaner being told it would only take 30 more minutes. An hour later I asked the status of he car, the associate James handling the car was nowhere to be found. My 'drop off' of the car landed me sitting at the dealership over 3 hours, with the associate and manager basically avoiding eye contact versus resolving the issue. Usually when you purchase a car from a dealership there are certain words that could be used to describe either the salesman or dealership. Those words include unethical, sharks, dirty, etc. Well none of those words apply to Lexus of Tampa Bay. I purchased a car from them and the customer service I received was the best. Nadir, my car salesman, was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He went the extra mile to make the deal happen. This was my third car purchase and it was the best experience yet. I drove 10 hours to get the car but I would not hesitate to do it again!!!!

I own a 17 year old automobile which has, except for repairs necessitated while out of town, has always been serviced by Lexus of Tampa Bay. My current service advisor, Talmadge Wall, is outstanding. He keeps me informed and advised of upcoming service needs and takes the time to show me issues while the car is on the rack. I also appreciate the fact that he constatnly reminds me that the mechanics love to work on my car.

I want to start off by saying that I have had the experience of my life shopping for a car. It started off in May of 2014 beginning to look for my next vehicle (which my current vehicle was a 2013 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 Track; great car but terrible on gas), so my interest led towards the new style of the Lexus is250's. I live in Orlando, Fl, so the closest Lexus to me was the one located in Winter Park. In the beginning of my search I test drove the Fsport is250 and I knew immediately it was the car for me. During my negotiation with Lexus of Orlando it seemed like there was NO negotiating and didn't want to earn my business. So keeping in mind my finances I searched some where else where, which the next closest place for Lexus was Lexus of Tampa Bay. The first person I spoke to was James Malvoisin over the phone before having to commute an hour drive to Tampa from Orlando. I explained to him my experience and situation that I had with Lexus of Orlando, and with attention and interest in what I was explaining to him, we were able to keep in touch till August in which I was able to get my brand new 2014 Lexus Is250 Fsport (white exterior/red interior, just a beautiful car for a car enthusiast as myself). So after 4 patient long months, I took my first trip down to Tampa to pick my Lexus up. I got exactly what I wanted in price, and the staff were unbelievably engaging and friendly to my girlfriend and I. Not just saying this to say it, but from what I saw, the best Lexus member that helped us, James Malvoisin, was such a pleasure to do business with, and he stood out amongst his co-workers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND anyone to check it out! I usually skip the SURVEYS from other places, but I definitely wanted to show my appreciation to Lexus of Tampa Bay and James Malvoisin for helping us out. Thanks again!!!

My husband and I recently purchased a new Lexus convertible- what a beautiful car. We were unsure at first as to which color and interior to pick, but our salesman, Steve Honigsberg, was very patient and understanding as to how hard it was to make up our minds. I was wowed from the first visit to the dealership- the showroom is beautiful to start with and very comfortable. Steve had a vehicle ready for a test drive on our first visit, and then searched everywhere to find the make and model we decided wed like. Our car came in ahead of schedule, perfectly detailed and ready. The finance manager, Matt, was very professional and knowledgeable as well. Steve has already scheduled us to obtain timely maintenance and explained everything we need to know about our maintenance plan and the operation of the Bluetooth features and other misc. extras. The whole process was very smooth and much less pressured than any prior car buying experience. We basically decided upon a price for a new car based on some email communications, then arrived at the dealer to test drive a similar vehicle. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The facility itself is very nicely done and a comfortable place to visit. After we finalized the price on the new car, they examined our trade-in. The initial offer was below what we wanted, and they simply had the used car manager examine the car and he agreed to our requested price. The car that came in actually had more equipment on it than the one we had wanted but they honored the price they quoted us despite it being a much more expensive car. The actual purchase experience only took about a hour or so to complete the paperwork. There was a presentation about the various warranty plans available but there was no real pressure or fussing when we declined these options. Nick showed us the major operating features of the vehicle, arranged for us to return to take care of a small leather discoloration we noted on delivery and set up our Bluetooth accounts in the car. He and the salesman Mike with whom we also worked were very friendly and helpful. The car performs very well and we are very happy with the entire experience.

I went into Lexus of Tampa Bay because I had such a horrible experience at Infiniti. I had seen the commercial for the Q50 and had my heart set on buying it (if it drove half as nice as it appeared). Unfortunately the Infiniti rep was beyond useless, completely wasted our time and made us a disgustingly low offer for our trade. I then went to Lexus and realized I should have just went there in the first place. They have always been wonderful (I have purchased a car there previously). Let me preface by saying, in my opinion, having to get my car serviced is like getting a root canal, EXCEPT when you have Tal Wall on your side. I specifically ask for him whenever I need to have a service/repair performed (going on five years). He is extremely knowledgeable and thoroughly explains the full process to you. He talks to you, not above or below your capacity to understand the issue. Recently I had an emission sensor connection issue. Tal promptly called me to explain the issue and went to bat for me with his Management. He got the repairs for me free of charge. I purchased my 2007 GS350 brand new from this dealership and it still performs exceptional. I owe this to the trust and care I've placed with this service team, my team. When the time comes to purchase a new vehicle I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this dealership. Thanks again Tal for being in my corner. Most of the negotiations for my new Lexus were performed over the phone. In my own mind I was sure that I had expressed my desires to have at least, the same equipment on my new Lexus that I was negotiation for that I had on my 2013 Avalon Hybrid that I was trading in. However, upon arriving at the dealership I found the salesman that I had dealt with over the phone and was informed that my new Lexus I had talked to him about did not have the navigation system and that it would cost me another three thousand dollars if I wanted it. I was disappointed, to say the least, after the two hour drive to Tampa. He then offered me the system for half price, which I accepted, of course and am now the proud owner of the car I thought I had originally bargained for and all is well.

Although I was a bit disappointed when I brought the SUV for the first time because I was told that it will need Lexus approval first even though I already have a letter of warranty extension for the headlight. Before that I already mentioned this to the service adviser and was told to wait for the next letter since my headlight is still working and priorities are being given to those that already failed. So when mine stopped working and scheduled an appointment, I was excited because I was told that I don't need an appointment for the job. So when I brought the car in and was told to wait for approval, it gave me an impression of being given a run around. Anyway the job was done and was given help in every possible way that our regular activities were not affected.

I got my 2005 Lexus GX470 a couple of weeks ago. My dealer experience before purchase was ok..my dealer experience after purchase was great. The only thing that made my experience prior to purchasing short of greatness is the fact that it wasn't a pleasant experience to make a deal. I didn't ask for the price to be lowered, I just asked for a part to be replaced prior to purchasing ..because its a luxury vehicle, it could get expensive to repair the part. They were reluctant and we left..5min later, they called back and gave in..all of that didn't need to happen..specially in a Lexus dealership. But after purchase..the guys were great to deal with and they repaired another part that I requested with no questions asked. Its a used vehicle. Post purchase experience was great!

Excellent experience purchasing a new ES300h. First auto purchase using internet but definitely not the last. I dealt with David Schweizer initially and then with Jeff. Both were pleasant to work with and detail oriented. I dealt with David until he had an accident 2 days prior to delivery, which is when Jeff took over. Jeff picked up right where we were in the process and continued on through delivery. He checked back on different details as he did not know if David and I had agreed to anything verbally. Delivery took a little while but we got a lot more information about the car. Great dealership to work with I would highly recommend Lexus of Tampa Bay.

I had done plenty of research and visited other local dealerships, but was dissatisfied with either the vehicle itself or the substandard customer service I received. He was courteous and professional: picked up every phone call I made, promptly responded to my emails, and pursued all my concerns. From the first phone call I made to Lexus of Tampa Bay until the minute I wrote the check to purchase our beautiful red 350, the process was A+. Christian was friendly, knowledgeable and responded to my questions immediately. He emailed a proposal very quickly and closed our deal over the phone. Though the dealership did not have the car we wanted in stock, it came in within a week and was ready when we walked in last Friday morning. My wife and I were blown away by the presentation of the car. Christian spend a lot of time explaining all the features of the automobile and assured us of immediate access to expert advice in case of a problem. I give Christian the highest praise for his manner, courtesy and low-key salesmanship which is what I expect when purchasing a high end automobile. The salesman and I worked out the price differences and they were really accomadating to my budget. Naaman Johnson (my salesman) could not have been more friendly and knowledgable about the 2013 Lexus GS I purchased on 05/08/13. I was in the Tampa area on business and had a day to kill. I was actually looking at a CPO Mercedes E class that was the Mercedes lot. After looking at that car I decided I didn't like it so I was heading back to my hotel. On the way I said....II think I will go and check out the new GS in person since I had not seen one. As I was looking at the inventory Naaman Johnson greeted me and ask if I needed any help. My reponse was not really I just wanted to see the new GS body style. Naaman Johnson went out of his way (in a non -salesman approach) to inform me of the car and suggested I test drive it. Having owned a 2009 GS I could not believe the difference in the interior and the way the car drove. I ended up leasing the car. Naaman Johnson made to process so easy and went out of his way to help me get my rental car to the Tampa Airport where I dropped it off and drove back to Orlando in my new 2013 Lexus GS 350. I am 77 years old. My wife passed away recently and my two daughters said, "Daddy enjoy the rest of your life. Do what you want. So I said, I am going to buy a red convertable---never owned one in my life. I went shopping on the internet to see what was available. I first looked at a Corvett but it just wasn't right for me. Then I went to Lexus of Tampa Bay and met Manny Vicente who was very accommodating and helpful. There was not a red convertable in stock so Manny immediately went shopping to find one. It turned out that It had to be shipped from Japan. Manny kept me posted on the arrival date several times. He was a real pleasure to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better sales consultant . I would recommend him to anyone. I have received the IS 250 2-Dr. Hardtop Conv. and I'm having a great time driving it. I am very pleased with the car and with the service that Manny provided. My salesperson was Naaman Johnson. He was the most professional salesperson i've dealt with in my car buying experience. He was not pushy and was very patient with me. I even asked for a Lexus mug and though they didn't have any at the moment i did receive on in the mail a couple of days later...AWESOME. and THANKS!! The dealership itself is beautiful and even the receptionists are exceptionally pleasant and welcoming. I felt like a million bucks walking in there. When i walked into the BMW dealership, the receptionist was the opposite..almost rude.... like i was bothering her as she filed her nails at the desk. I ended up with a 2013 GS 350. Nebulla Gray Pearl with black leather. I LOVE this car. And I got it at a great lease price (though the intiial quoted price ended up being higher because my credit score came back below the minimum requirement.....aaaaarg). I got more car for a lot less than a BMW 5 Series. The GS 350 is fast, sporty, and luxurious. I hope to have many more years of great experiences with Lexus of Tampa Bay.

My wife an I purchased a certifed pre-owned 2013 Lexus GS 350 from Lexus of Tampa Bay about a month ago. Everything to this point has been top notch! Our adviser/sales person was a gentlemen by the name of Eduardo Hernandez. I could not have asked for a better car buying experience and I believe it was due to Eduardo. He was very knowledgeable of every vehicle that we asked to see. He was not pushy or "slick talking" at all. He showed my wife and I EVERY detail of the car to ensure we were well versed on the product that we were purchasing. He even offered to set up the gadgets within the car if we would like. The car is amazing! We went with the silver exterior and black interior. This car is fun to drive and luxurious at the same time. We will have this car for a very long time because it is simply a pleasure to own. The gas mileage is awesome compared to our previous vehicle which is expected because we have a Nissan Armada that was 14/19 when it was new. I'm sure that has gone down since it's an older vehicle now. I am a fan of Japanese vehicles as you can see! The lexus is a great vehicle. Power and luxury wrapped into one!!!!

Entered expecting to drive and love a new GS350 today. Looked at several cars in the showroom. No one greets us. No one helps us. Times goes by and I begin to get frustrated. Seeing a person just outside in the parking lot I poke my head out. He's on the phone.. doesn't sound like business to me. Back inside I approach the receptionist and complain about not being helped. Time goes by.We give up and go to leave. One the way out I approach the employee in the parking lot who just ended his phone conversation. He introduces himself as a manager. I ask for help and complain about the lack of attention. He says he will look for a salesman... what? Now I am angry. Apparently it isn't his job to work with a customer. Another salesman approaches and tells me everyone is busy with customers.. really? not what I observe.Mercedes down the streen offered me a bottle of water to cool off. #customerservicefail

I've recently financed through Lexus of Tampa. I shopped around other dealerships in the area for used cars and Lexus had the best selection and quality of cars that were within my budget. Larry Pfingsten helped me out with the buying process and did not feed me any nonsense about how the used car I was looking at belonged to an aunt or mother-in-law (several dealerships tried to convince me of this). When asking other dealerships questions about certain used cars I got the feeling that they were hiding some defect from me. That was not the case here. To sum it up, I'm very happy with my purchase, plan to do business with Lexus of Tampa in the future, and love that I get complimentary car washes whenever I want.

She is a little up in age so she gave me the task of locating and negotiating a decent price on her next vehicle. I live in Atlanta so I opted to utilize dealer's internet sales managers for my inquires. After negotiating via email with various dealers in Miami, Palm Beach, Ft Myers, Winter Park, Orlando, Jacksonville, all dealers in the Atlanta area, we can across Lexus of Tampa Bay. The sales person we dealt with here was Nick Otero. He was absolutely AWESOME. He was highly informative about the Lexus products and we were able to reach a great deal very quickly. I honestly didn't know that buying a car was so easy after dealing with other dealerships in the past that hassle you and try to rip you off. So here is basically how the deal went. Submitted a vehicle inquiry online with Lexus of Tampa and Nick responded shortly after. Told Nick that I saw a vehicle in his inventory that I was interested in purchasing. Nick emailed me the vehicle's Spec sheet displaying options and msrp along with various pictures he had taken of the vehicle's exterior and interior. Told Nick what I was willing to pay for the vehicle. Nick countered with his offer. I looked at my numbers again and they seemed to be a fair price for both of us so I told Nick my offer was the best I could do. He accepted the deal so I presented all this information to my mother who was then visiting in Atlanta. She accepted the deal as well but airline flights had doubled since negotiations started. So we therefore just took the 8 hour drive down to Tampa to purchase this vehicle. When we arrived, we were greeted by Nick and he showed us the vehicle and we took it for a test drive. Vehicle looked great so he set us down for the paperwork which only took a few minutes then he sent us to Kim Couch for financing. She was excellent as well. Didn't try to up-sale us or add in any warranties or services we didn't need. They actually found us a better interest rate than our pre-approval credit union rate. I think we were off in her new vehicle in about an hour or less with no hassles what so ever and no feeling that we had been cheated in any way. I highly recommend Nick Otero if you are in the market for a Lexus. You will get a great deal to brag about to your friends and you will experience the easiest vehicle purchase of your life. The dealership and all of its employees are a pleasure to work with and they do a quality job.When it comes time for service I actually look forward to visiting the dealership due to the friendly service advisor and the comfortable customer lounge.The Sales team have always been very friendly, no pressure, and looking out for what i need. Most recently I took or 2010 RX350 in for service. I saw our name on a electronic sign to check with about a trade up for a current model for the same monthly payment. Not sure that could be done I made the call and for $6 more a month we drove out with a 2013 RX350.Very pleased with the RX350 it is a pleasure to drive anytime

Since I was not sure what kind of a car I was looking for, he took the time to show me several options and went on several test drives to allow me to pick one. Ended up with a ES350. I love it!! it is absolutely comfortable ride. better than any other make I tried. I asked for the tires to be changed to Michelin soft rides. They put new ones on and gave me credit for the tires that were on the car already. Anything I asked, they accommodated. Very happy with my experience with this dealership. Specially with Michael Cappelluti.

I will keep this as simple as possible..... Entered and greeted right away by Ben in which he offered me water and proceeded to his office. It was like a 15 minute experience as I filled out the paper work viewed my Audi A5 and then I was on my way to the Finance Managers office. Excellent customer service and professional in many ways than one. Oh must I add I got to touch and view the new 2013 Ferrari awesome experience. Lexus of Tampa is the place to go, the place you want to be if your looking for great skills, professionalism and customer satisfaction. Thank you Lexus of Tampa for everything! What a great buying experience! We went on a Sunday just to look at exterior and interior color combinations of the model we were interested in buying. We went into the dealership when we found it was open and meet Naaman, a salesperson. Naaman asked us for the specifics of what we wanted, then went out of his way to find a car with those features, offered to appraise our trade-in car, and did, and provided a reasonable quote, all in one day. We didn't accept immediately and went looking on the Internet. But Naaman followed up and we reached an agreement over the phone! One week later, we were in our 2013 Lexus ES300h!We already have had several follow up calls from Naaman asking if we were enjoying our car. I commute 70 miles once a week to Tampa for business so the opportunity to shop with my wife is limited. The dealership kindly loaned me an 0'12 RX-350 to take home to show my wife what the 0'13 would look like. It was a service loaner and was dirty and tired looking. In taking it back with my wife who was thoroughly disgusted with the car and didn't want to buy a car. We fully intended to return the loaner and get some lunch. When we got to the dealership she was treated exceptionally well and Ester Ortiz was great to work with. We ended up purchasing an 0'13 RX-350 that is beautiful. There was absolutely no hassle on working out an acceptable price by email. The car was ready when it was supposed to be - there were no hidden gimicks, no last minute squeezes or any tricks. The selling process was rather time consuming but overall it was the best new car purchase experience I have encountered.

It is amazing the value and quality a used lexus provides. I would put a certified used Lexus up against any other manufactures new cars both in value and Quaility . I was very dissatisfied after visiting another Lexus dealer closer to my home. The high pressure and childish sales tactics left me extremely frustrated . I recently purchased a used car from Lexus of Tampa Bay. I first went in the dealership 6 months earlier just to look around and see what was available. I went inside to speak to someone and was greeted by Larry. We talked about what I was looking for and I gave him a list of what exactly this car need to have(Model,color,interior color/ fabric, etc.). He told me that he would look around to see what he could find and would be in contact. I told Larry that I wasn't in a hurry to buy a car, but more wanting to get the exact car. I spoke to Larry several times over the next 6 months about different cars he found, Then he called and said that the perfect match to the car I explained was just traded in. I went to look at the car and 2 days later I owned it. The lady in the finance dept was really nice and got me taking care of in a timely manner. I had a few issues with the car and Larry got them all resolve with no questions asked. My overall experience was excellent and I recommend this dealership, but I really recommend Larry Pfingsten 813-739-2428 for your next Lexus purchase. When I go to upgrade my car I will definitely go back to Larry at Lexus of Tampa Bay.

Recently I purchased a new car from this dealership. They tried and almost succeeded in ripping me off $800.00 by failing to disclose and then adding extended protecion plans to the purchase price. When I realized they overcharged me I complained to the management and it took weeks of unanswered phone calls and emails to finally rectify the situation. I never heard a word from anyone acknowledging this outrageous action or an apology from them. So I assume this is business as usual from a low rent outfit pretending to be a certified and reputible dealership. "CAVEAT EMPTOR" is alive and well at this dealership.

This is my second used car from Lexus of Tampa Bay. I will not go anywhere else in the future though I might think about it if Ben goes somewhere else. I'm not sure anyone can beat him. He worked with me partly on my first used Lexus and completely on my second. I wasn't the easiest sale but he kept smiling and would work with me to find a way to make me happy. He bent over backwards for me and still does. Just because I have already signed the papers he still keeps in contact. If he sees me somwhere around he will always stop to say "Hi" and see how I'm still loving my "new" car. If I have an issue he sees to it that it gets done or points me to the person who can. He's plesent to be around and helps to make the dreadful car-buying experience a lot less dreadful.

We test drove two cars and looked at a few more, they had a lot of patience with us. While they other add on's to sell no once did they try to force this stuff on us. Even though salesman was suppose to go home at 5 he stayed with us and was last one to leae dealership, never once hurried us. They were also fair with my trade in value. Absolutely the worst car buying experience I've ever had in my 50 years. The buying experience itself was mediocre at best, as the salesmen (we had two different ones on two separate trips) were lukewarm to any requests for information. However, the pain of choosing a vehicle and negotiating a price paled in comparison to the travesty that was signing the papers. We arrived on time and were told the finance person was busy with another customer and would be with us shortly. One and a half hours later we were still waiting for her. All that time our salesman would stop in on us approximately every ten minutes to try to get us to agree to buy one of their upsell items. They literally would not let us leave until we agreed to buy something from them in addition to the car. I would have gotten up and left except they already had our trade in back in the service bay. Finally we agreed to the cheapest upsell on the list (I have no idea what it was because I know I'll never use it) just to get them to finalize the deal. Once we agreed to buy an upsell item the finance lady was with us in less than 5 minutes. What a coincidence! I absolutely, positively, under no circumstances will ever buy from this dealer ever again, and in fact will never buy a Toyota/Lexus ever again (this is my third). The taste in my mouth is that bad.

But David Gatchell was most helpful in providing full information about the vehicle in which I was interested, detailed descriptions of the exterior and interior condition, including blemishes, and service records. We had the best car buying experience with Mark Duprey. He was recommended to us by another dealership when we mentioned we would also be looking at Lexus. He has been with Lexus for many years and is extremely knowledgable not only regarding all Lexuw models, but competitor vehicles as well. What a relief not to have a high pressure, pushy sales person. He is quite the opposite, very personable and his initial questions revolved around what we were looking for and our goals, not what kind of financing we were looking at or if we were making a trade. I was very comfortable working with him. We originally came in looking at new vehicles, but wanted to consider used as well. He was eager to show us all of our options. Before we walked out onto the used lot he had a list of all used cars and their features. He was careful to pay attention to what was important to us. For example, even though we didn't mention that navigation was important (because we never had it before and forgot it was an option we wanted)he took the time to ask. We ended up finding a beautiful GS 350. If you go to Lexus of Tampa Bay, I recommend you ask for Mark. This is our first Lexus purchase.

My experience at the dealership was very pleasant, the sales staff was knowledgeable in all areas, both used and new vehicles. I never felt pressured to purchase or lease a vehicle. The entire process to purchase the vehicle was painless and took less time then any other dealer i have purchased a car from in the past. When I first reached out to the dealer in November, I was just inquiring, I was provided information that requested but not pressured to come in and sit face to face. When I finally made a decision in February, I went in and spent maybe an hour there got the additional information I needed to make an informed purchase. I came back to pick out the exact vehicle, even that visit lasted under half an hour. Then the final trip to the dealership to pick up the car and do all the paper work, was quick and efficient, we were out of the dealer with our new car in under 2 hours.

I had taken my 2001 Lexus in for one of it's regular servicings. Dave Jones, who had overseen my servicing for years, informed me after a short time that unexpected repairs needed on my car were going to cost me almost as much as the car was now worth. He discussed options with me. Then going the extra mile, he even contacted the manager of the adjacent Lexus used car business, explained the situation, and asked them to help me look at my options with them as well before I made any decision on which direction to go - total repair, partial repair, or trade in on a new used Lexus. Larry Pfingsten, a salesman with the used Lexus cars, met with me immediately. I had looked at the possibility of getting a used Lexus previously with him just for future reference. Larry knew exactly what I wanted in a car as well as my financial limitations. He made it quite easy to determine which direction was the wiser move financially and quickly found just the right car for me. Everything was taken care of for me from calling my car insurance company to helping me learn how to set up and use Bluetooth in the new car. He also handled settling everything about my old car with Dave Jones. Within several hours everything was taken care of and I drove home in my new car! No one could as for better service or support than I had.

What impressed the most is that Larry had a very laid back attitude and put not pressure whatsoever on the sale at hand. He was very courteous and friendly and explained the whole process to our satisfaction. He had to go back a week later for a minor cosmetic repair and even though Larry was not available, another gentlemen took care of us to our satisfaction. We went into LoTB to begin our research in Feb. We were not ready to buy yet and had a long list of cars we wanted to see. We met Steve Honigsberg and told him that we were in stage one of purchasing and what we needed from him. He delivered EXACTLY what we asked of him and made a lasting impression with us. Over the next 9+ months, Steve called and emailed us a few times to check on our progress. No sales pressure or fast talk - just keeping us on his radar. We were so impressed with his diligence AND follow-up, but he really did have us on our first visit. After months of research, we went back 2 weeks ago to make our final decision and asked for Steve. Because WE messed up our appointment time - Steve had another scheduled appointment, so he had one of his Sales Partners - Eric Starling - meet with us and answer all our questions and do the test drive. We thought Steve was impressive - I can honestly say - Eric filled Steve's shoes just as impressively. We did not leave there with any unanswered questions and we made the decision to buy a Lexus later that evening. Then the work started - the car we wanted...was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Steve had to go through a massive scavenger hunt to find "the" car we wanted and after thinking we were going to have to change our wants - he called and pulled off a major feat of finding "the" car. Probably the last of the one we wanted. So, we went yesterday, saw our new car, did the paperwork and now have a beautiful Lexus sitting in our garage. Again - Steve had an emergency customer issue and Eric stepped in and walked us through all the final processes. Again, he was awesome and took care of us in Steve's absence. Steve arrived about halfway through the process and between the two of them - made sure we were taken care of in every arena. Some would question the partnering of Steve and Eric and the car buying experience - but from my perspective - I like the tag team treatment because now I know that when it's my turn or my appointment - I will get the same attention as the customers that Steve had prior commitments to take care of. Steve...Eric....Eric....Steve...its all synonymous with excellent customer service. We are now part of the Lexus of Tampa Bay happy car owners and look forward to a very long relationship with Steve and Eric. Met Steve on first visit to dealership to look for new Lexus to lease. Had Lexus previously and bought it at end of lease. My former sales consultant was no longer with the dealership. Steve was a southern gentleman - very knowledgeable about the vehicle, shared changes to Lexus SUV since 2007, was not pushy and arrogant like some car salesmen. He allowed me to take my time and was an excellent listener. He asked what I was looking for and what features were important to me to have on the vehicle. He showed me the new model and asked if I would like to test drive. When I went to pick up the car, Steve had everything arranged and ready to go. He had gone over the car before I got there and it was already for me. He went over all of the features and set up my bluetooth and had me call my daughter to make sure it was working correctly. He also went over how to set up my remote garage overhead door when I got home. He is an excellent sales consultant and would make a great mentor for new consultants. I will have to say that all of the Lexus of Tampa Bay consultant, in their various roles, are well trained and extremely pleasant to work with.

One of the best car buying experiences we have had. Zak Warner is the best. He hasn't been in the business long as he is just a kid, but he was knowledgeable and professional. His subpar education at Western Carolina was hardly noticeable. This is our fourth Lexus and third from Lexus of Tampa Bay. Our service advisor is Bob Gray. Bob has been great and is probably more responsible for our return to a Lexus than the car itself...Sales manager Mike Lee was as stubborn as ever but a super nice guy and someone you enjoy running into when you visit the dealership. In my opinion, you can't beat a Lexus and you can't beat Lexus of Tampa Bay.

I purchased my 2006 RX 330 from this dealer and have had it serviced there for 6 years. I NEVER took a vehicle to a dealer for routine service prior to this, but they do not try and push unwanted services but rather inform you their recommendations and encourage you to get the minimum services specifically needed for your vehicle. The best part is that this vehicle has been more maintenance free for longer periods than any vehicle I have ever owned, and the outstanding service is unparalleled. I had owned a Lexus prior and serviced at another dealership with the opposite results, so I have a good barometer. Tampa Bay never stops trying to ensure you are completely satisfied. They now pick up my car and bring me a loaner for work requiring 2 hours or more which is wonderful! I just purchased a 2012 RX 350 and the experience was awesome as usual. You will get a chuckle out of this. Merrillee evidently did not pay close attention. On the way home she kept telling me how cold it was. I told her I was comfortable. We found out that she was pressing the wrong button when she was trying to increase temperature on her side. She had lowered the temperture button to 65 on her side. Giving up her sports car to have a car that can transport grandchildren was not easy for her. She so enjoyed driving the Lexus home that she can commented I dont't miss my mustang. I brough my 2004 RX330 in for service, and wondered around the showroom lusting after the CT200h. Later in the evening I was contacted by John Hayes, saying he saw my RX earlier in the day, noticed that it was in great shape with low mileage, and would I consider selling it or trading it in?? I test drove the CT, fell in love, and now I am a very happy owner of a cute compact luxury vehicle that drives so quiet and smooth, just like it's bigger siblings!! Negotiating with John Hayes was a pleasent experience, he had a great disposition, and if we neighbors, I'm sure we'd be friends!! The CT is promoted as getting 40 mpg in the city and 43 on the highway, but I am finding I get 47 - 48 mpg in the city!!! This is my 3rd new Lexus bought from Lexus of Tampa Bay, and I keep coming back because the service is outstanding.

Omar called me as a response to my voice mail that the dealership would be open on Labor Day - we were pleasantly surprised and drove to the dealership. Omar met us and shared information about the Lexus brand, the dealership, and the cars they had in stock and those coming in. He then showed us an LS sport model which we purchased. Having bought several new cars this was one of the best sales experiences we have had. Not pushy, not laid back, and we took the car home one of the reasons was our customer experience.We also had an opportunity to meet the sales manager and the finance manager. Both were informative and added value to our buying experience.We were in the process of applying for a Credit Union loan and due to the holiday we had not heard back. The finance manager found a local bank and matched the rate making this an easy fnancial transaction.After the purchase it was already past closing time but Omar took his time and walked us through the car features and options. He also connected both our iphones for both the phone and Blue tooth music and even connected our Pandora application. He is very knowledgeable about the car and customers interests.We are having dealer options installed and were able to have scheduled at our convenience with the offer of a LS loaner while car is being serviced.Great salesman, fiance and sales managers, great dealership, great customer experience.

Stopped by because our electronic key broke and needed replacement. Steve greeted us at the door and without hesitation showed us the Parts Department and did not try to sell us anything.While waiting for the key, we looked at several new vehicles and decided to give one a try. We approached Steve and told him we would like to look at some models. Although we did not have time for a test drive, Steve offered us some brochures and set up a future time for a test drive. We showed up a few days later, had the drive and decided to purchase.Steve was prompt, courteous and acknowledged an appointment conflict well within time to change our plans. After speaking directly with Rene, and explaining my concern, Rene worked with the Dealership GM, and have agreed to split the cost of this repair. This was not something the dealership was obligated to do, but was without a doubt a good faith gesture on their part. I would recommend a visit, and serious consideration in purchasing new or used from Lexus of Tampa Bay. Excellent business practice, and understanding of long term relationships.

There are some people you run into on your path that are instantly likeable and genuine. Then there are others who have to work at being freindly the same way you work to buff wax off a car. The end result might be good but the fact that it takes effort is visible to the customer and creates an awkward feeling. The difference I think is whether you have a genuine love for people in general or not. Jeanette is a very genuine person and she worked very hard to earn our business. I went to purchase a new car at Tampa Bay Lexus and had a very bad experience. I was told I could not purchase a vehicle because I made a complaint against Manager Michael Lee, this was because of a misunderstanding with the contract on my trade in, which the payoff was incorrect. The way I was treated was unacceptable and confusing. How can I be told I can not come on to the property and purchase a vehicle when all I did was make a complaint? This company obviously does not believe in customer service. I had to go to Sarasota Lexus dealership to purchase my vehicle. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

He helped me get top dollar on trade for my 2009 Mercedes AMG and am extremely happy with my new LS 460. Mark not only took me a tour of the entire dealership, but spent and extra hour sitting in my new car going over the functions of each option on my new LS. Prices are very fair on all their vehicles, and financing took care of everything so all I had to do was sign. Bottom line: Lexus of Tampa is a great dealership, but please ask for Mark Duprey over in used cars to assit you on your car buying. He is true gentlemen and it's great to be back in a Lexus!

My wife initially purchased an IS250 weeks before thru Mr. Bloemers and we were so impressed with Mr. Bloemers and how smoothly he handled the car deal that I wanted my own Lexus and worked with Mr. Bloemers myself to own one. It took a few weeks, but Tom initially found what I was looking for in a Pre-Owned RX350, but unfortunately the pricing was too high for what I wanted to spend. Again, Mr. Bloemers went out of his way to find something for me, and as it turns out - I found a GX-470. There were some previous technical issues regarding the use of a USB port in the car but we found a fix for it and I drove off with my GX-470 on July 2, 2011. My wife and I are quite please with Lexus of Tampa Bay and hope if we ever do buy another Lexus that Mr. Bloemers will be there for that transaction. In closing,we have been to dozens of car dealerships - working with various salespeople - the last few years and Mr. Bloemers beats them all hands down when it comes to Customer Service and how he represented his position at Lexus of Tampa Bay.

I am always so impressed at how quickly I am contacted after I make a purchase inquiry from Lexusoftampabay.com. I made an inquiry yesterday afternoon and was driving off the lot in my brand new IS250 F Sport by that evening! From the management, finance dept, sales people, and service dept my overall experience has been great and you will not find better customer service anywhere!

What can I say? When I'm wrong, I'm wrong! After what I thought was a awful experience yesterday afternoon at Lexus of Tampa Bay, it turned out to be one of the BEST EXPERIENCE of my life in 2011! Yesterday I posted a bad review regarding their customer service but today's experience made me want to get a T-shirt made saying "I LOVE LEXUS OF TAMPA BAY." I met my fiance there after work today and walked in Nick's office. He had a nice ice cold water waiting for me (it was HOT outside) and greeted me with a big smile. As soon as I walked in he apologized. He apologized before even introducing himself. We immediately walked outside to look at some of the vehicles and when I turned around the GENERAL MANAGER was walking up to me (Joe Petrillo)to immediately apologize again for the lack of customer service the previous day. He was VERY well dressed and gave me such a firm handshake. I could tell the sincerity in his apology. What I immediately appreciated is that he didn't try to make excuses for why no one greeted me the previous day, he just said "It's unacceptable and it shouldn't have happen". He even stayed past his shift to wait for me to get there so he could personally offer his apologies. I mean geeeesh, I felt so awful after that! Like I said yesterday, the cars were CLEAN, I mean like right off the manufacturer truck clean. There is a folder in EVERY car showing the Carfax and what Lexus of Tampa Bay's service shop did to the car. There is a price on EVERY CAR as well. How often do you go to buy a used car and see PRICES ON EVERY SINGLE CAR? Needless to say we made a purchase. All the cars are priced EXTREMELY reasonable, look for yourself...I'm so glad I decided to calm down and give them another chance. After all the great reviews I read about them, I knew it had to be some type of stroke of bad luck. I'm running out of space so in closing all I have to say is "LEXUS OF TAMPA BAY IS MY DEALER FOR LIFE!!!" I will be telling all my friends and all my co-workers!BTW: Nick worked REALLLY HARD on our purchase and it NEVER felt like it was all about his commission. GIVE HIM A RAISE!!!!

My visit started out looking for the GM of the store, Instead I got put with his Gatekeeper with a guy name Gabriel he is the GSM I guess, I started to do my complaining about a sales issue and the more I talked the less he talked. He just sat there like he was'nt paying attention to my issue. When I finished talking , he asked me was that everything ?I said YES....His response was "I first want to offer my apoligy for what has happen and then he told me he would have a car for me to drive pulled up and ready for us to go the mall and have lunch on him and come back in 2 hours and everything would be ok. He assured me everything I told him would be fixed and look even better than when it was new. Gabriel has this calming effect about him, he makes you fell warm and fuzzy about doing business with Lexus Of Tampa bay.I was really mad and he just sat there and let me blow off my steam and he sorta made me feel stupid becuase he was so nice of a gentleman. He told me he would take care of me just like he would his own father, and sure enough he treated me just like a family member.He will ALWAYS be the one I ask for when I come back to buy my next car.Thank you Lexus of Tampa bay for your great employees, Gabriel is great addition to your team, keep him!!!! and just so you know I didnt need to see the GM after this treatment

Excellent customer service is NOT dead in America! Lexus of Tampa Bay exemplifies all that is right with a business: they are thoughtful and courteous, they have excellent products at fair prices, and they KNOW their business. I purchased my Lexus 450H at this dealership, and I service it here as well. When I am there, my salesperson, Richard LaFay, is always friendly and wants to know how he can help. The service people are excellent, also. I was greeted right on time for my service repair appointment, had a seat and made a delicious cup of coffee in their luxurious waiting area, used their wifi, and within almost no time, my car was ready. Having continuous questions about how to use the bluetooth on my phone is not a problem; Richard is always so welcoming and knowledgeable. He really is a wizard at helping me with any technological gadgetry on my new Lexus. Having him as my salesperson was a true stroke of luck for me!I would recommend this dealership, and especially Richard LaFay to any of my good friends and family.

It's not the sale but the follow up after the sale that counts. Richard has always been a straight shooter from the beginning but I'm more impressed with his follow up since purchasing my vehicle 3 months ago. Our new car buying experience at this dealership was outstanding, from the minute we entered (we called Richard ahead) to the time we closed on the new vehicle. My husband and I had been looking for another car to purchase. We already had a 2000 GS 300, and we both really enjoy the car. So we decided to purchase another Lexus about a month 1/2 ago, because of the craftmanship, liability, and customer service. We feel that Lexus is very reasonable when it comes to service, they don't try to overcharge you because you are driving a lexus, like some other dealerships. When we went into the dealership we was approached by a salesman by the name of Richard LaFaye, and was very pleased with his approach, he was very kind and explained everything in detail to us in regards to the car we were interested in. I told my husband that I know we already have a Lexus, but I enjoy the car so much that I would like to have another one. So a week later we went back and brought a 2007 GS 350, and I must say I truly love driving this car, it has a great ride. It feels different very our GS 300. I spent the majority of the day at the dealership awaiting my husband to get there, and Richard Lafaye was there with me every step of the way, he test drove both cars, the 2006 GS 300 and 2007 GS 350 with me and explained the difference in both cars, and because I was undecided because I love the color on one of them, but the other had more features, he made the decision easier for me to pick. He even invited me to have lunch with him, which was very thougtful. Purchasing a car can be very stressful, but Richard LaFaye made it very easy, and enjoyable. He has a great personality and is very honest, which is what I can appreciate as a customer. We will definatley purchase from him again, and refer friends and family to him if they are in the market of buying a Lexus.

My wife and I went to look at IS250s last weekend just to price cars and get an understanding as to what was available. Mark Fisher was an excellent person to work with. He showed us our options on the IS and ES models and took us for a test drive in both cars. He was not your typical agressive Sales consultant and was aware that we were just looking around. Within a couple of hours, he knew everything about my family and vice versa. Needless to say we drove home in our 2009 IS that afternoon and we were very satisfied with the price and the service we received. I received (what I thought) great service when buying a car from BMW the week before but by dealing with Mark, I am convinced that my next car will be a Lexus and I will definitley seek out Mark for that purchase.

My experience at Lexus of Tampa Bay was nothing short of outstanding. Within seconds of walking in the door I was greeted and introduced to Richard. After a brief description of what I was looking for he had me out test driving a 2010 Lexus IS 250. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and went above and beyond to make sure I knew all the features of the car. Never once was I pressured to buy, and in fact Richard even gave me directions to another dealership. Richard and the whole staff made my experience both personable and enjoyable. I am now enjoying my new Lexus and couldn't be more satisfied.

This is the second Lexus LS that Joe has sold to us. Never once have we ever felt pressured to buy at any time we were in the dealership. The service has always been perfect, and our service advisors have always been better than helpful. Everyone goes above and beyond just to make our experience the best it's ever been. Marc was a pleasure to work he was patient with me in my adventure in looking and purchasing a slightly used car. The customer service is impeccable. I went to Lexus of Tampa Bay knowing exactly what car I wanted but having no intention of buying it at that moment. Within minutes of walking in I was greeted by someone who immediately set me up with Richard. Soon after that I was already test driving a new Lexus RX 350. The test drive was amazing. I had learned so much more about the car than I thought I knew and was immediately sold. After the test drive was over I was ready to buy. I was set up with Richard and another gentlement who went over pricing with me and was able to negotiate a fair deal. I got a great price on my trade in and drove away a very happy lady in my new RX 350. I have had my car for a few months now and I absolutely love it. There is nothing like driving a Lexus. I have bought several cars before and I have never been treated as good as I was at the Lexus dealership. They made me feel important and rescpected and I will continue to recommend them in the future to all of my family and friends.

I have to say that my wife and I have owned Mercedes,BMW's, Cadillac.s and Lincoln's, and after driving a Lexus I realized I had found the car of my dreams. My first impression when I walked in the door was that this dealership really cares about the customer. I was greeted at the door by the gentleman who ended up being my salesman. He wasn't like your stereo typical salesman. He was humble,courteous and caring. Not one time did I feel pressured to purchase a vehicle. My wife and I have bought over a dozen and a half cars and not once did we receive service like Lexus of Tampa provides. They ( Richard Lafay and Hank Gabriel) cared about ME;not making a sale. I'm a psych therapist, and I have a good ability to read people and their personality's and in my professional opinion those two men are stand up guys who tak pride in what they do. I want to acknowledge the whole staff also. From the front desk clerk to the service men and the finance manager. They all were AMAZING!!!! I'm not writing this letter to sell cars, but to give thanks to the people at Lexus of Tampa. From start to finish all my needs were met and more. They did things for me that are unheard of in the car business. Working on price, doing upgrades at discount, spending as much time as needed to make sure I know exactly how to use my vehicle and many many other things that i prefer to leave out, but know they do for ALL customers. I have spent allot of time at all of the dealerships in Tampa and I have never seen the customers inside as happy as what I witnessed while I was there.In closing, thank you to Lexus of Tampa for caring so much about my wife and I.P.S I decided to try Lexus of Tampa out after my wife came home with a new car and told me the experience she had. We were NOT greeted when we arrived. We walked the car lot for 30 minutes and no one came to assist. We went into the dealership and walked around another 10 minutes before our presence was even acknowledged. Once we were assigned a salesman, my mother explained what she was looking for. The salesman kept referring her to a later model automobile with A LOT more miles than she was looking for. The overall experience was just terrible. After going around and around with the salesperson , I asked my mom to grab her purse and we left !

Called for an appointment to get a air sensor for run flats and checked to see if they had the part. Drove in 30 miles and they were out of the part. Cost me another round trip of 60 miles.Then this Tuesday, I called twice to Service to get a phone mail and left msgs both times. No one returned my call by the next afternoon. Called Parts and waited 25 minutes but was in periodic contact with the front desk. She finally took my number and the info on the battery I wanted and said they would call back - they never did. Called Wednesday and finally got to talk with someone in Service for an oil change - nothing available until next Monday and then I got disconnected. These people are horrible - I would rather take my car to a Ford dealership
