Purchasing a car from Lexus of Serramonte was a very pleasant experience, From the moment I test drove the Lexus NX 200t to driving out the dealership with it. The sales team of Alain Yambao and Dave Grech made it happen. There was no pressure to buy right away like with some other dealerships and I once I made the decision to buy I already had the internet price on hand and did not have to haggle with the car price or with the trade-in of my BMW. Alain was very thorough and explained all the features and how everything worked on this car. I am very happy with the car and with the easy and seamless process that I went through. Two very minor repairs. Replace a thermostat and a battery. $600 ... wow! If it were not for my service rep, Lenny Villajin I'm not sure I would drive the 40-45 minutes it takes me to get to Lexus of Serramonte. Lastly, the age of my Lexus 470 (it's a 1999) is a wonderful marketing tool as so many people look at my excellent car, ask its age and are impressed. It's more impactful than driving around a brand new one that every expects to be in tip top shape. I count on the Lexus dealer to help me keep it in excellent condition, but sometimes I feel the mechanics working on the car don't really care that the age of the car and its condition is a stronger testament to the value of Lexus.

I'm very impressed and grateful for lexus's service. Car problems are stressful but Lexus gives you a peace of mind by making it very easy to have your car fixed. Their service department has been so stellar for the past 13 years that I'd buy a Lexus just because of their service department (and it's a good car). This was one of the worst experiences I have had with any dealer and any Lexus dealer over 3 decades. There was inconsistent communication, information demands that my local dealer said were not necessary and a general chaotic aura surrounding emails, phone and in person communications. Although the individuals were pleasant, it took an incredibly long time to close a deal.

The worse service ever. I arrive there to drop my vehicle off for my first service and no courtesy car was offer/provided at all, so I had to walk home in the rain!!!!! Horrible service. And when I got a call to pick up my vehicle, my floor mats were still dirty and the interior of my vehicle were dirty. I was told that it was a 5k service plus wash and vacuum but seems like it was only the 5k service. This will be my last time ever bringing my vehicle there.

I had trouble starting my 2011 CT Hybrid, brought the car there without an appointment and they replace my battery, inspected the car for safety and washed it. The Service Advisor, David Martinez, quoted me a lower price for the battery than normally charge. He took the time to explain the wrong quote and honor the original quote before the service was completed. Great service all around!

This facility is pretty good in general. The staff there were very friendly and courteous. The facility is clean and spacious. However, I do have some concern about the work they recommend their customer to work on. Specifically, it is related to the wheel alignment they recommended on my IS 250. My car had pretty low mileage (only 23,300 miles). I did not notice any alignment problem at all. When I took my car to this facility for routine maintenance, I was told that the car needed a replacement of the front tires. As a result of this, according to the service advisor, my car needed a wheel alignment. After the work was performed, I checked the printout sheet for the alignment work, I noticed there was virtually no improvement in the front wheel alignment. As to the rear wheel, it was actually worse then before (although it is still within the specified range). I am not sure if such work was really needed. I recalled that I had similar problem with this dealer a few years back with my other Lexus (ES 300), so this is not an isolated incident. Although I love my Lexus, this is certainly not a good experience.

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT have your car serviced at Serramonte Lexus. I have a 2014 ES300h and the windshield needed to be replaced due to a crack from a rock. I brought the car in and had the windshield replaced for the 1st time. The rubber seal around the window was not properly seated and I pointed that out when I picked up the car. Why they did not notice this and say something really surprised me; I had to point it out. The service advisor told me it would work itself out over the next week which of course it did not. I returned the car for the 2nd time and had the windshield replaced and the result was no better. The excuse was this is a difficult job and would not look as good as the factory windshield. I said this was unacceptable. Thus, I had to bring the car back a 3rd time before the windshield was properly replaced. Sadly, it gets worse, the problems do not end here. After the third replacement there was grease all over my headliner. I had to bring the car back a 4th time to have them clean the grease off. After a short period of time I noticed that there was a problem on the right windshield pillar. I brought the car back in for the 5th time and they said there was a clip that broke during the windshield replacement and they would have to order it and replace it. In addition, I pointed out that since the windshield was replaced I was getting very poor sound quality from my hands free system when placing calls. They said the poor phone issue would be solved by resetting the system, which they did. I returned for the 6th time to have the broken clip replaced and have them look at the hands free again as the call quality was no better. You are not going to believe this ? when I picked the car up I noticed the problem on the right side was not fixed. That is because they replaced the clip on the left side, NOT the broken one on the right side. It reminded me of the story where the surgeon amputates the wrong leg. In addition, they reset the phone settings on my phone itself which again did not fix the problem the phone issues. Now for the most unbelievable part, they got more grease on the already cleaned headliner. Now the car goes in for the 7th time and they fix the broken clip on the right side and actually look at the Mic and say is has some sludge on it and needs to be replaced and while the car was in they clean the grease. It had now been cleaned so many times that when they cleaned it this time the wore a hole completely through the headliner. The service advisor said the upholstery shop might be able to repair it and they would take a look when I returned to have the Mic replaced. I returned for the 8th time and they replaced the Mic. I think the system is better but does not seem as good as when it was new. As for the headliner, they never took it to the upholstery shop but I was not sure I wanted them to, no telling what else would be damaged if they did. They have absolutely NO QUALITY control at this service department ? STAY AWAY.

I had a problem where the automatic trunk release stopped working. I called Dean DeCastro and he instructed me to try a couple of options. I eventually had to bring my GS350 to the service center where Dean did an assessment and advised me that the automatic trunk release had to be replaced. Dean quoted a cost for repairs and worked out the cost of the repair for the trunk release to my satisfaction. When I picked up the car, it had been washed and vacuumed Dean is always professional, courteous, and straightforward whenever I bring my car in for any service. In my opinion, Dean is a high value asset to the Lexus family.

Before my apptmt, I was not told that a 30K mile maint would take multiple hours. The Service Dept found a nail in 1 tire, fixed that, but broke the tire sensor. I had to wait an additional 45 minutes for the tire sensor to be fixed. When I finally got the car back, the repaired tire had 2 pounds less air pressure than all the other tires.

I've been a client off and on since 1992. I brought in my RC-F on Thursday for its regular service, knowing it would need new break pads. It turns out it also needed new front rotors. Fine so far. Get a call on Friday saying they'd received two left rotors and that none of their suppliers had a right one in stock and it would likely be the following Wednesday. This did not work as I was leaving for a 16 day vacation. They then did something I don't think any dealer would do: they grabbed the only RC-F from the sales floor and were prepared to take its rotor out on Saturday morning! As it turned out, the parts department came up with one. Case solved, client happy! These guys go way above and beyond to make sure you're smiling every time you leave the service bay. Now, if the engineers could figure out how to make pads and rotors last longer than 9,000 miles....Special shout out to Pete M.

I was met at the appointed time by a courteous and professional staff person. I chose to wait at the dealership while my car was in for routine servicing. Coffee, tea and small pastries were provided. There were several areas with large TV sets for customer viewing. There was also a quiet room for customers. Restroom was sparklingly clean. My car was ready at the time indicated when I brought the car in. The car had been washed and was waiting for me outside of the door.

We originally came in just to go car window shopping since we were hoping to buy soon, but not that day originally. An asian male approached us and introduced himself although I didn't quite catch his name. My parents weren't so heavy on speaking English but this guy was also fluent in Cantonese which was perfect for my parents. My Dad has always wanted to buy a Lexus, but never mustered up the courage to actually get one, that is until that guy guided him through every detail of the car. And honestly, watching from the side, I'd have to say he was pretty good salesman to have my Dad so hyped up and actually thought about purchasing It In the next few days. He showed us many models and different years for the RX450, the car which my dad had been eyeing at. He took us for a test drive, and after almost an hour of talking we managed to bring the price down a bit more, and my dad ended up buying the same exact day. The salesman was really helpful throughout our entire time there, and my dad couldn't be more pleased with his car.

I have found them to be honest and never had a problem with any of the service work on my car over the years. They make it so easy to get your car serviced. I have waited in the lounge for the minor services, had them drop me off at work on their shuttle and had a loaner car for the major services when needed. It is always a pleasure to go there, they all seem happy and friendly and the services advisors make you feel like you are a very special customer.

This was one of the easiest and most pleasant new car buying experiences I've ever had. I was in the market for a new 2016 CT 200h F-sport and I did all my research, knew the exact color and options I wanted, and knew what a good price would be. Lucky for me, Lexus of Serramonte just received the exact car I was looking for. Even more lucky for me, I contacted their internet sales manager Alain and straight away he quoted me a bottom line, no nonsense terrific deal. Everything was clear and transparent, so I agreed to the deal and went to the dealership two days later to purchase the car. Even though he was sick that day, Alain came in to work with me so I could take my new car home. The dealership was a very pleasant place to spend time while waiting for paperwork. Everybody there was very nice and attentive, without making you feel pressured one bit. I would highly recommend Alain for the fastest route to a fantastic deal, especially if you already know what you want. He's a really cool guy to talk to too, and he kept me company and gave me insights on the car industry while waiting for my car to be prepped. I know where to send friends and family looking for a Lexus!

Walking into the dealership, from the receptionist to the sales staff, I immediately felt welcomed! The description of the 4 cars I had in mind, new and used, were precise from the two salesman, it helped me make my decision immediately. I bought the silver 2014 IS 250 and feel ecstatic about it. During the waiting periods, which weren't long, I was able to take advantage of the facilities - lounge area and refreshments area. Very clientele friendly. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Great service, I had my car in shop for about a week and a half but had a service car while it was there. They made sure they checked everything i mentioned in the service interview. They also are open in terms of if when you may or may not pay if necessary which I think is pretty good, they're not just out there to get money out of you.This is the place I also purchased my car, they had to find the type of car I wanted and had it shipped from a different dealer just so I can purchase it. really great experience overall.

Let me first state that I bought the Lexus here in 2005 and normally use Lexus for all service. Brought the 2006 IS 350 in for a bad tire sensor and found that the last Non-Lexus mechanic who serviced a slow leak while I was on the road, had not set and calibrated the electronics correctly. Dean and staff found the problem, charged me nothing and washed the car. I'm buying the dim sum next visit.

I found an advertisement for an Infiniti G37 Journey with 12,953 miles on it with manual transmission. Needless to say I couldn't get to this dealership quickly enough. Well upon arrival I was shown a vehicle with the same VIN number as advertised, but with more than double the mileage and automatic transmission. Nice car, but not what I care for. Not impressed by the false information that was placed online.

I traveled 3,000 miles from New Jersey to Colma, California to Lexus of Serramonte to get the 2012 Japan manufactured(impossible to get on the East Coast)) RX-350-AWD, Silver with black interior with most options including nav.I located the vehicle on one of the popular car websites. I e-mailed my interest in the vehicle. I received a quick response from Phillip(Internet sales).The price I received was very competitive.I expressed my desire to purchase the vehicle. I have bought over a dozen new vehicles(first Lexus,first luxury vehicle)to date, so I was skeptical of the price, mileage on the RX,and availability.Phillip assured me that he would place the vehicle on hold till I was able to get to the dealership in the next day or so from the initial e-mails(Although he also stated that everything could have been done by next day Fedex to save me the trip).I called and my intuition about the honesty, and professionalism of the communication between myself and Phillip was genuine.I was picked up at the airport by Phillip and arrived at the Dealership to test the RX. The RX-350 was exactly as described to me,and it was on hold for me.After some nice refreshments, the buying process paperwork was completed. I was rewarded by this excellent Lexus dealer with a great deal, 0.9 % financing and discounted installed accessories(mud flaps),and window security etching included.The entire process was what I hoped purchasing a Lexus would be like.Phillip was courteous,easy going,and extremely professional.Ted from finance was also a great asset to this dealership.The F and I process was low pressure, and professional. I can't believe I had a pleasant new car buying experience.That was definitely a first.These gentlemen went the extra mile to make sure I was completely satisfied. I told them they made this Giants(NY Giants, of course!)fan very happy. Please Look for Chris, We have been working with him since 2005 and couldn't ask for a better salesman. As for Steve Dessy and Joe Kauffman (salesmanagers) who I HIGHLY love working with. They are honest and would always give the the best possible low price to the car you are looking at.

I don't know how much these guys pay yelp to get a 4+ star but these guys are extremely horrible.1. I bought my car from this place, the whole experience was just ridiculous. I had a sales who do not know how to sale at all and had to constantly talk to the manager + owner of this place, they all just sit in the office and joke about things. FIrst, they made fun of my parents who are not naive english speakers. Then they acted like they don't care about selling a car to us, we can just walk out anytime and they wouldn't give a dam. FInally, after around 10 trips, yes 10 trips to this place i have finally purchased a certified IS350 from this place.2. A certified car should have passed all the inspections and etcs, nope! My car had problems with the mirrors on both side, cigarette lighter is not working, etcs ! had to bring it back to repair3. the service department is just horrible, they have advisors who are just inexperienced with the cars they have to take care of. My certified vehicle have extended warranty, my service advisor tried to refuse service to me saying that my warranty expired. I had to kindly notify him that my car has extended warranty, and all he can say is "Oh"! Extremely bad attitude and won't fix my headlights because warranty is voided due to aftermarket parts. Took me 4 trips to this place, just so they can tell me my warranty is voided! Never bother to take the time to even inspect the car or at least inform me what might be wrong with the car.! So, okay i will pay you guys to do the inspection, pay for the repair. Nope! my service advisor denied me service and told me " Technicians don't even want to touch your car". THis is just ridiculous ! i am paying you guys to do the works! I took my car to a friend and to a shop, they didn't even have to look at it and can already tell me my ballasts are fried! Then he lied to my face about my headlight is fixed and all i need to do is bring it home and let the moistures dry! End up getting a 200 dollar ticket from the police ! thank you guys so much! These guys are just plain horrible!Never had a good experience at this place, ruined the whole image of Lexus. My next car is definitely going to be a BMW or Mercades, i simply do not have faith in Lexus anymore.also, thank you stealership! charged my parents 300 dollars just for an oil change !! CAN ANYBODY BELIEVE THIS?

SALES TEAM IS SKETCHY!!! STEER CLEAR!!!We recently tried buying a new Lexus from Serramonte Lexus. Talk about an awful experience. They wasted hours of our time and when we thought we had a deal, they then went back on that and RAISED the price. Talk about bad business practices. A lot of arrogance and disrespect since they are the "largest dealer in Northern California, blah blah". If Steve is the sales manager on duty, you should bring a change of clothes since you'll feel dirty afterwards.
