Let’s just say wow. This dealership is all about customer service. Ian was my salesman and he went above and beyond to make sure I was absolutely satisfied with my car purchase. I recently bought a 2018 GS and I did not feel rushed at all during the car buying experience. It was a very simple and easy transaction. No haggling. Very great offer from buying my dream car to getting a very good amount for my trade in. I am a very meticulous individual and Ray in service took care of all my little requests that I had post purchase I would recommend this dealership to anyone buying a Lexus. If I could I’d give them a 20 out of 10. Highly recommend.

!!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!!On 11/11/2016 I purchased a motor vehicle from your dealership (2017 Lexus RX350). Unfortunately, the vehicle has not been satisfactory because a lot of the standard options that come with a base model vehicle are not there, the most important one to me is heated/ventilated seats. There are many other options that i do not wish to list at this time. I have owned Lexus vehicles for the past 20 years and never have i been more upset with a Lexus vehicle purchase before. The sales person i dealt with never went over the vehicle options and lead me to believe that i was purchasing a vehicle that was well equipped and came with many of the standard features and more. Not once did he let me know that the vehicle i was purchasing was missing these options and ask me if i would like to have them added. I feel i have been scammed................ It has now been 1 month since purchasing the vehicle and I usually do not right negative reviews but for this company i want every one to know what a horrible place this is !!!!!I highly DO NOT!!!! recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealer! Even the owner Benjamin N Nusinow does not care how his business and employees operate. Got scammed into over paying for a vehicle that they ordered for me with some additional options that we wanted on it, and after the vehicle came in it was missing many of the standard options that a regular car comes with and Benjamin N Nusinow and Thomas Covello agreed that it was missing those options and said verbally and via email that they would take care of it, it is now going on a month and they do not reply back to emails or take my calls. Very disappointed how they treat there repeat customers. Obviously they are not interested in repeat business they are just looking to make a quick sale. Just letting future possible customers the experience i had with this company.!!!!!!! DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!!!!!UPDATE .............After many emails and calls to the owner of Lexus of Highland Park he finally responds 30 min after seeing this review, and decides to go back on his word, What a great business man... lolHere is the owners response was.I am sorry that you feel the way that you do. I wanted to accommodate the mistake made in ordering the vehicle by finding a third party that would meet your satisfaction in installing heated seats. You have publicly trashed my reputation and my store. Please find another place to service your Lexus. My offer to pay for your heated seats that you failed to order with your vehicle is retracted. Drove an hour out of our way from Naperville to look at an used vehicle for our daughter. Another couple was driving the car so we requested to go get something to eat and see if it was still available when we were done. The sales woman made us stay and offered us old bagels and cream cheese in the waiting area. Finally, we drove the car around the parking lot and put in an offer. She snickered and said the most the manager would probably take off would be $100-$200. Just turned out to be a big waste of our time. We could barely understand her and were quite annoyed.

I dealt with the internet sales manager (Steve Gustafson) over 4 days by phone and email. They provided me a written offer on an official purchase order for a 300H. After getting to an agreeable price I asked for another offer sheet in writing. Low and behold, they said their math was wrong on the original offer and the price was actually $2,500 more than what they originally had given me in writing. Absolutely crazy, do not do business with this dealership.

Late me begin by stating that it ultimately did not buy a car from this dealer. I dealt with Mike Brice as a salesman. He was very accommodating, friendly, and appropriately humorous. He made the test driving of the vehicle easy and informative. I thought that he was straightforward and honest about the entire process. If he had the right car for what I was looking, I would have gladly purchased it from him. He is an asset to his place of employment.

Bought a used Lexus IS 250 last thursday with 73k miles next day multiple lights come on dash and vehicle loses power. Took it back and they supposedly fixed the car and put us in a loaner until monday. At this point i want to get a different vehicle from them and get something w/less miles or get my trade-in back and unwind the deal call it good and still be happy. Dealer does not want to work out anything of that sort. Guess being active duty military means northing to these people. So at this point im confused on why they do not want to trade out after 1 day of having this vehicle. My sales guy even said that the deal had already been funded and my trade-in was already paid off (which it was not). Come monday i pick car up and see about trading it in w/another dealer because i just dont trust it after this. So now i drive the car for 2 days in total in just one week and more lights come on again. Take vehicle up there very calmly and politely i dont not want this car and i am not so happy at all with my experience here can you please work with me. They sold car to me 5 days ago for 14,400 and want me to take 13000 for it and only reducing the price of their car by $1000 to $31,999. And they said thats all they can do No More! Mind you this car im looking into purchasing i found 3 alike with half the miles this one has for 28000. I feel they know what is wrong with the car and dont want it back because it will be more to fix. Doesn't make sense why a dealer like would be so unwilling to help a service member and his wife into a reliable vehicle they feel comfortable and safe to drive across the US if need be. I'm not one to write reviews but i feel like this is very wrong! My uncle works for the Federal Trade Commission I told him about what happened to me so hopefully this wont happen to someone else.

My wife was in the market for a new SUV after her car was totaled in an accident. She has always wanted the Lexus RX350 after driving a rental I received from Lexus of Highland Park, when I brought my IS250 in for maintenance. She liked the idea of "sitting higher" but loved how the RX350 drove like a car (plus it looks sharp too). After looking at several vehicles online and in-person, I saw this one at LHP that we were interested in. By the picture, the vehicle looked great! Although it was used and a little older, it appeared to have been well kept and in great condition. We went LPH to see the RX350 and were introduced to Alex our sales rep. He knew about the vehicle and immediately spoke very highly of it. This was impressive to me because I asked about another one that was cheaper but he didn't have the same confidence in it. I knew at this point, I was on the right track with this vehicle. I felt confident and comfortable suggesting here to my wife because I believe LHP would have taken good care of this vehicle (and they did put some maintenance into it), which would aide in her buying choice. The test drive solidified her desire! While she was test driving the vehicle, the entire staff made sure my 10 year old and myself were comfortable and content. A smile goes a long way and there were plenty to go around the showroom. As a Lexus owner myself, we like to share our stories about our vehicle's experience and this made the wait enjoyable. When she returned and we talked about what she wanted to do, they began the paperwork. Mike, who I had worked with in the past, assisted in the process, and then turned us over to Julio in Finance. They were both great to work with and my wife was pleased. I really enjoyed Julio's explanation of things to my wife and how he didn't try to sell her things she didn't need and rather, made it her choice. His approach was novel and one that I would have taken from a financial prospective. We were the last customers to leave for the evening, which ended with Alex, Mike, and Chad all in Julio's office talking about the details. I will always be impressed with the final presentation of the vehicle and Alex's final moments with my wife going over the details and unique features of the vehicle. As she drove around the corner to leave and I watched from Lexus, it was a nice site to see her in a vehicle she deserved and looked great in. I felt pleased that she had a wonderful buying experience, got a great vehicle she always wanted and confident she got a great deal. From the service department to the Sales Team, I highly recommend Lexus of Highland Park. p.s. She is even going to leave the LPH license frame on her license plate!

Easiest experience ever buying a car. After we purchased Jeff spent a very long time going through the extensive tech on the car. He said we could stop when we got tired and come back later for a second session. He even gave us some very good safety ideas about not loading our exact home address in the NAV system and programing the remote features on the keys. The only reason not to go is if you want to buy a new car that is not a Lexus! I would happily buy at Highland Lexus again.

Went in with a specific car I wanted to see and buy. Instead I spent two Saturday afternoons sitting in waiting room for an hour, second one with an appointment with Frank. My appointment was blown off for another customer. After two afternoons in the waiting room, I never got to see the car, never test drove the car, never had anyone other than the receptionist talk to me. Left business card with receptionist explaining frustration of wasting two afternoons. No one ever called afterwards and no apology even after complaint to GM. I have purchased many cars in my life yet I have never experienced a car dealer that will ignore a customer or fail to follow up with a phone call. In over 40 years I have never walked into a dealership without being greeted or acknowledged. The car is still for sale but I have given up.

Mike really listened to my needs and helped me decide what was right for me.. I am only in town a few days a month, and have another car that just isn't good in the snow and ice, but if I traded it in I'd lose all equity. He advised me on what was really in my best interest - to buy an older car from a different dealer and keep my current car. What sales person does that?! I will buy my next car from Mike and hope it is soon. Truly a refreshing experience. Makes me want to buy a car from him!

I recently bought a pre-owned 2012 Lexus RX350 from Lexus of Highland Park. Jeff Richards was my sales consultant. Jeff was very patient and answered all of our questions. He did not put any pressure on us to buy the vehicle we were interested in. We did the financing outside and there was delay in getting our check. Jeff understood our situation and held the vehicle for us until we got the check. Now that's customer service.

I recently purchased a used 2013 Lexus GS350 and couldn't have had a better experience or gotten a better price than from Lexus of Highland Park. My trade-in had a less than perfect car fax, but Lexus of Highland Park still gave me a much better (thousands of dollars) trade-in than any other dealer in the Chicago area. In addition, their use car I purchased was toward the low end of all the 2013 GS350's with comparable miles and equipment. When I purchased the car the trade-in, paperwork, and payment was so straightforward and easy. While I was doing the paperwork they washed my new car and moved most of my stuff to the new car. When my paperwork was done I had to move only a few things and drive away. Such a great experience - I can't say enough good things about this dealership.

I purchased my third Lexus 2 months ago, and while I was no stranger to Lexus I was a stranger to the internet purchase. This was my first time purchasing such a big ticket item without seeing it first; but Mike Brice made this experience an enjoyable one. He kept me in the loop regarding everything along the way: right down to the car being delivered in my driveway in TN. Mike is definitely an asset to the Lexus family. I must say while visiting a local dealership prior to my purchase the salesman scoffed at the idea that I would do such a thing, purchase a car from the internet you've never seen? I didn't feel pushed or bullied like Bredeman's people made me feel...he was patient, matter of fact and truly helped me find the best deal and plan for my needs and intentions. While looking for a new car, we had done substantial research and narrowed our choice down to Lexus and Mercedes. After first visiting Mercedes and receiving a rather monotone pitch and very little willingness to work with us we went to Lexus feeling a bit frustrated (as I am sure many looking for cars can relate to). What a pleasant surprise it was when we walked in to the Highland Park Lexus showroom and were warmly greeted by Mario Mendez. He genuinely listened to what we wanted and quickly found a few models, all of which met our criteria and not just something the dealship wanted to move. After a few test drives (within a half hour of our visit) we knew what we wanted. He worked diligently with the finance department and before we left that evening a deal was struck and we picked up a beautiful, loaded ES 350 the very next day! We have purchased a myriad of cars over the years and hands down this is the best experience, period. Thanks again to Mario and the great staff over at Lexus of Highland Park, we will be back again!

We had a Lexus ES300 from 1999-2007, but switched to a Mercedes C300. In looking for a new car we looked at Merceds, Lexus, and all of the comparables.We weren't familiar with the IS250, so were focused on the ES350. After looking at the IS250 it became clear that we liked everything about it and it fit our needs.Jeff Richards, our salesman, was extremely helpful while we made our decision, assisted in getting us a good price, spent all the time we needed when the car was ready for delivery, and went the extra step in coming to our home when the automatic garage door did not initially work with our Lexus. My husband and I just purchased a 2015 Lexus RX 350 from Highland Park Lexus. We were fortunate to work with what I call the A TEAM::Tom Covello, internet manager, Jeff Richards, senior sales consultant and Doug Kamp in business office. Most of my dealings with this car dealer was through the internet. Tom and I had many many emails. His responses were always timely, helpful, and always open to negotiations. His patience was admirable as I had never owned a Lexus and needed his valuable insights. The day of our test drive (we came from the northern burbs) , Tom matched us perfectly with Jeff. Jeff really knows the cars and gave us an outstanding test run allowing each of us to drive and experience all the tons of features in this car. Jeff's low key manner and thoroughness is amazing. We made only two trips to the dealership! One for the test drive and one to pick up the car. As we finalized the paperwork we were told our last stop was the business office. Our worst fears about pushy warranty offers were totally unfounded. Doug was personable, informative and made the last step so easy.Beginning to end this was a terrific experience and we would recommend this dealership in a heart beat! Oh, the new showroom and all the customer amenities will blow you away!

I purchased my ES350 CPO from HighlandPark Lexus this week and it was the fastest purchase I have ever made largely because of the customer service and overall experience I got from Tom Covello. He was very professional, very knowledgeable and was willing to work within my buying style and busy schedule. Most of my research was done online and over the phone with various local area Chicagoland Lexus dealers. Highland had hands down the best dealership with a reasonable (not cheapest) price point for the ES350 CPO.

One rarely finds a salesperson as wonderful as Jeff Richards--knowledgeable and honest,accommodating and extremely patient. He spent an enormous of time with me in person and on the phone,and helped me buy exactly the right car. He is a man who goes above and beyond what one would expect--even meeting me in a parking lot when I had trouble operating the car. We had searched the internet for a 2013 Lexus RX350 with very low mileage. Luckily we found Lexus of Highland Park had the exact vehicle we were looking for. As soon as we entered the dealership, we knew we were at the right place to purchase a car. We were directed to our sales consultant, Jeff Richards. Jeff was one of the nicest and best sales consultants we have ever dealt with of our many car purchases. He is very conscious of our objectives to purchase the car we were looking for. He didn't try to direct us to something else. His knowledge of this particular vehicle was excellent and his customer service skills were outstanding. He took the time to answer our questions and even anticipated some of them. His no pressure sales technique made the buying decision easier and less complicated. He was a joy to work with, as was the sales manager, Chad Simon.After we agreed upon a deal, which we are happy with, we were introduced to the Finance Manager, Julio Gomez. Julio was quite friendly and knowledgeable about car loans. He let us decide which financial plan to go with didn't force us to buy additional programs for the car. Although we did purchase the extended warranty, which was reasonably priced.I don't know of anyone who truly enjoys buying a car, but this is was a good car buying experience, didn't take long to reach a nice deal and would encourage anyone in the market for a Lexus to shop this dealership!

As part of an extensive due diligence exercise to find a new car for my wife, we ultimately elected to purchase a new Lexus CT Hybrid. We worked closely with Terry O'Gara through the entire time and I will say that it was the best purchasing experience I have had.The salesman was very knowledgeable about the product he was selling, provided good, balanced information and did his job (which is to try and sell us a car) but with a sincere attempt to build a relationship and not just conduct a transaction.The test drive and follow-up was not rushed nor the queries during decision making intrusive. Negotiation was straight forward. The vehicle we wanted was secured promptly and made available within a two working days. Terry also did the extra special stuff like pick me up at the train station so I could get the car and deliver to my wife as a surprise. He also made himself available to her for a briefing on the extensive technology in the vehicle. These services could have been outsourced to other personnel but he chose to do himself well after the paperwork was signed.The dealer is building a brand new facility which indicates a commitment for the forseeable future that there is warranty coverage on the car within 10 minutes of my house. Finally, at close there was zero attempt to up sell and additional products or services. As a luxury vehicle buyer, I appreciate that level of professionalism. I recommend Lexus of Highland Park without reservation and Terry O'Gara as a Sales Consultant on your next Lexus purchase.

I was looking for a very particular car with a rare combination of the exterior and interior colors. I knew the price I wanted to pay for this car and called all Lexus dealerships in Chicago. It went down to two dealerships and I decided to visit them in person. Lexus dealership at Glenview was the first place I visited. After talking to the sale person about a car I was looking for, they told me that I have to make some compromises in terms of the colors, and some options. The sales manager paid a visit and stared bad-mouthing HP Lexus. This left a bad impression, so I left this place and went straight to HP Lexus. I was assisted by Gary and he asked all the right questions and was able to locate a car I was looking for. He delivered on all of his promises and even sent me photos of the car once it came in. The staff at HP Lexus was super friendly and knowledgable. I'm very happy with the car and this shopping experience. Thank you Gary and HP Lexus!

I loathe car shopping and put it off as long as possible. I wouldn't have waited so long had I known how my experience at Lexus of HP would be. I felt like Terry O"Gara listened to what I was saying about what I wanted and what I didn't want. He read me well and matched my interest level well, by being attentive but not pushy. From the time I walked into the dealership I had that 'gut' feeling that was going to be a great experience. Boy it certainly was. From the lady at the welcome desk, to the salesman, to the GM, to the finance person, to the service center. Everyone was just wonderful. If every dealer treated their customers like the folks at Lexus of Highland park, the auto industry would be booming! Our salesman, Mike Brice, was outstanding. Gave us a fantastic price, was totally upfront about all aspects of the vehicle and purchase, and went out of his way to make this the most pleasant vehicle purchase that I have made in 40 years. Went to Lexus of Highland Park to look at 2014 CTh and did a test drive with Terry O'Gara, a sales representative. Liked the car and got a price quote that evening. Then used the Costco auto purchase program and was directed back to Lexus of Highland Park. The Costco pricewas less than the dealer quoted price but Terry did not give us any attitude at all. I was a little nervous but they followed theCostco program perfectly and did not cut back on any services offered by a new car salesperson. Very pleased with new car and with Lexus of Highland Park. They got us color we wanted and delivered car when they said they would. Would recommend this salesman and dealership and also the Costco auto purchase program if you are a Costco member. There is a slight price savings with Costco program (little over 1%) but this is a popular car with very low inventory levels.

Terry O'Gara was professional throughout my two day purchasing experience. He was knowledgeable and educated me on the new Lexus features since I hadn't kept up with all the improvements. I enjoyed working with Terry. He was efficient and made good use of my time while not being pushy. He made me feel like I was his only customer. When I returned to make my purchase, Terry went the extra mile and set up my garage door opener and my phone so I would be ready to go. He was very patient in going through the key functions of the advanced systems without overloading me with too many details. Terry and everyone at Lexus of Highland Park exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Terry and this dealership.

We first went to Lexus of Highland Park in May 2005 to fix our old Lexus the day before a big family wedding. The Service Department was able to fix our car that day, and thus we avoided a major hassle.When it came time to purchase a new vehicle, we didn't hesitate to going back to this dealership. Jeff Richards, our Sales Consultant, was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He was extremely thorough when it came time to teach us non-tech-savvy folks how to use the latest technology on the new car. Furthermore, he even came to our home when we had difficulty syncing the garage door with our Lexus. We highly recommend Lexus of Highland Park and Jeff Richards when it comes time to purchase your new car!

Being a female with previous experience working in a dealership 20 years ago, I knew that I wanted to work with a female when my husband and I decided to lease our next car. Having been familiar with the car we wanted beforehand, I called the Lexus dealership in our neighborhood; Lexus of Highland Park and asked to speak with a female salesperson. I was quickly put in touch with Kathy Walsh. When she asked how she could help me, I told her that I wanted to lease a car, and would provide her with all of the details over the telephone so that once the car was located (if necessary), and we were in agreement on the price, my husband and I could just come by the dealership and sign the paperwork when it was ready. Kathy was agreeable and proceeded to work diligently, going over everything with me ranging from the model, color and options to pricing, availability and financing. After a car was located (which happened to be in their inventory), I gave her an idea of approximately how much I wanted to pay (including taxes), together with the term of the lease. Taking this information, Kathy went to her sales manager Chad Simon, who prepared a few different leasing scenarios for her to present to us. The numbers that they arrived at were not far off from what I thought they would be which included factoring in consumer rebates and dealer incentives. At this point I knew they were serious so I told Kathy that I would discuss it with my husband and call her back within a couple of hours. Being the salesperson that I am, I immediately called two other Lexus dealers in the area just to make absolutely sure that I was getting the best deal possible. What I found was that neither of the dealers that I contacted could even come close to the price that I had received. In fact, the closest price for the identical car and lease was $70 more per month than what I had been quoted by Lexus of Highland Park. Needless to say, the deal was made over the telephone. When we arrived at the dealership the next day to sign the paperwork, we met with the business manager named Julio Gomez. Signing the paperwork when buying or leasing a new car can often be overwhelming, not only because of the many documents that need to be signed, but also because of the decisions that the buyer or lessor is often pressured into making regarding add-ons (extended warranties, GAP insurance, paint protection, fabric protection, etc.) to the purchase or leasing contract. Add-ons are very profitable. Both the dealership and the business manager make a great deal of money whenever one is sold. As a result, they are almost always pitched to every customer that steps into the business managers office to sign a contract. Unfortunately, before the customer knows whats hit them, their monthly payment has gone up significantly from the amount that was originally agreed to. It was no different for my husband and I while we were in signing our paperwork with Julio. When he started to make his pitch about warranties I immediately stopped him, letting him know that I knew what he was trying to do and that we were not interested. Julio was very respectful of our feelings and did not pitch the kitchen sink to us. However, he did bring to our attention a program which Lexus (not some other company that has no incentive to make sure that your ownership experience is positive) has that covers the cost of repair or replacement of things such as damaged tires, alloy wheels, windshields and small dents and dings. This was the first time that one of these add-ons actually made sense to me. For an extra $22 per month, owners or lessors of a new Lexus automobile can be protected against damages that frequently occur in the normal course of ownership or leasing. Finally, after signing the paperwork, Kathy introduced us to the people in the service department who told us about the free car washes, brunch on Saturdays and loaner cars that are available when we bring our car in for service.We were very happy when we left the dealership with our new car. This past weekend, I visited HIghland Park Lexus with the intention to test drive one of several vehicles I had been researching. By the time I left, I felt like a certified Lexus expert. My interaction with this Highland Park dealership was nothing short of exceptional from the time the internet sales manager, Tom Covello, contacted me regarding my inquiry to the time I walked into the dealership and was introduced to my salesman (and new friend) Mario Mendez. My new buddy Uncle Rio was very patient, very knowledgeable and most importantly, very honest and personable. He set aside time days after my purchase to ensure I had all of the proper tools and information needed to ensure my new Lexus ownership is nothing but pleasurable. I've purchased 2 cars from this dealership in the past 3 years and my experience was amazing. I've brought my vehicle in for many reasons (mostly maintenance), and the customer service was out of this world. With my recent purchase, I had the opportunity to work with Mario Mendez. With the utmost professionalism, he guided me into a new vehicle. Everything was upfront, he wasn't trying to get me to purchase anything just for the sale, but really pointed me in the right direction. We were able to talk through the pros and cons of many different vehicles along with the specific pricing programs. Everyone at the dealership is very friendly and willing to help you out even if you are window shopping. I would recommend visiting this dealership for yourself, and experience what I did. Mario, is extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable.He spent a lot of time going over the cars mechanics. He also told me to come back after driving the car for a week and that he would go over any questions that I might have. I'd like to sing the praises of my Lexus dealership. I took my 2006RXh with over 100k miles in for a routine service and spotted a 2010RXh in the color I'd always wanted. Since I don't buy cars very often, I was leery of the sales process. (Besides my 2006 was a fine car and probably would have gone another 100k miles without any trouble.) But I remembered a salesperson I'd met on a previous visit when I'd had my shelter dog along (yes, the dealership is pet friendly) and we'd sort of bonded over rescue pets. Anyway, we started chatting and I was able to slowly, at my own pace, grow into a decision to replace my old car. I could not have asked for a warmer, more competent and thorough salesperson who actually made the purchase process fun! So, if there's anyone out there who hates car buying (especially used), I'd say go see Kathy Walsh for fair and able assistance. (While you're at it, go see Steve Vicek in the service department and try to stump him with a Lexus question. Bet you can't.) They take great care of you at Lexus of Highland Park and I plan on going there for a very long time to come. Cheers to their opening a new and expanded facility -- they certainly need it!

Kathy Walsh, our Sales Consultant for the new Lexus GS 350 we came to look at buying was very courteous, knowledgeable, nonsense right to the point professional. The test drive was organized immediately and on the vehicle that exactly matched the one we were looking for, with all the accessories we wanted.The final price was given to us quickly without traditionally expected trips to the "manager", and such that was even slightly better then the one we were planning to pay.At the end the dealership has helped us with the lowest interest rate, we could not find on our own and delivered the car in a very short time in perfect condition. We have visited a few dealerships during our quest and found this one to be very different, refreshing and more pleasant then the rest.

Gary was a very friendly sales person who didn't push me TOO hard during the sale. He was accommodating and made me feel supported throughout the sale. After arriving home with the purchase of vehicle and a finalized sale, I found that there was a mechanical problem and a missing cup holder. I contacted Gary regarding these issues and Gary helped me schedule an appointment to have the car looked at and serviced free of charge and he ordered the cup holder for me. --Not to mention, the dealership washed my car for me when I brought it in! I really appreciated the level of customer service with this dealership and highly recommend this dealership if you are in a market for a Lexus or any of their other used vehicles.The car is immaculate and buying a used Lexus from a Lexus dealership gave me the confidence that my car is of superb quality and passed an inspection of Lexus standards.

Kathy was extremely helpful and candid. She walked us through the navigation system (Nav), which is not the most intuitive technology, during our test drive. She took a considerable amount of time answering questions and explaining several details. When it came time to negotiate she took us through a second test drive (in lousy weather) and was forthright in the actual negotiations. We reached a deal without acrimony.

My wife and I purchased the Lexus ES 350 from Terry O'gara. Terry went above and beyond to make us happy in the car that we wanted. We have never experienced the customer satisfaction in purchasing a car than we did from Terry. Chad Simon was extremely helpful in the process as well. He wanted to make sure that Terry was working well with us and offered help if we needed any. Glenn Fitch was also helpful in the process and offered his assistance in any way.This was our first time purchasing from Lexus of Highland Park. By the service that we received you would have thought that we purchased cars from them every 3 years! I would recommend customers to purchase from this dealership and specifically Terry O'Gara. We drove from Orland Park to purchase this car (65 miles). I wouldn't hesitate to do it again and will when we are ready for our next car.

I visited Lexus of Highland Park while shopping for a luxury SUV to check out a few Certified RX 350 models. At the dealership I had the great pleasure of talking about the vehicle and test driving with their senior sales and leasing professional Thomas Covello. Tom was straightforward, knowledgeable and refreshingly honest throughout our dealings. Tom was the first person I met with while conducting research for my purchase and I didn't meet anyone else who matched his level of professionalism. He took time to respond to my emails while most other dealers wouldn't respond or would try and call me even though I let them know that I strongly prefer email. Tom intuitively understood my desire for space and privacy and communicated in a courteous and respectful manner. Where many other dealers called constantly to check in on me, Tom took the time to understand the manner in which I was making my decision and offered the time and space that I wanted to work through the process. It was incredibly refreshing. Whereas other dealers followed up in a pushy manner looking to score a sale, Tom followed up at appropriate intervals just to let me know he was around should I need any more info. In the end we decided that we really wanted the 3rd row of seats and purchased an MDX instead of the RX 350, but I offer my highest recommendation for anyone interested in buying a Lexus who wants an honest, no-nonsense approach to car buying to VERY strongly consider getting in touch with Tom Covello at Lexus of Highland Park.

I found a LS460 online and called to enquire about options and availability . I was transferred to Kathy and she was great. Kathy answered all my questions and what she was unsure of she found the answers immediately. I am a very impatient person and getting this deal done was quick and painless . It was nice to see the sales department , service department and finance department work together to answer all my questions with excellence. I was looking for a 2013 Lexus ES350 and I contacted several Lexus dealerships in the Chicagoland area over the phone and by email. This review is based only on the purchasing process and price negotiations because I did not end up purchasing from this dealer.My exchange with Gary Chan consisted of a whole bunch of lies and bashing of other dealerships. His negotiation tactics were to make me get quotes in writing from other dealers, and telling me that the other quotes were impossible, or that they were lying or incompetent. He would not quote me a price unless I got him one in writing from another dealership or unless I agreed to put down a $500 deposit on a credit card.He said he did not want to go do that work and not get the sale. What work? He just had to go ask his manager if they could sell it at that price? He wasn't willing to do that, so why would I be willing to pull out my credit card and read him some numbers? Needless to say, I did buy from someone else and he did give me some good advice by saying,"someone says they will sell you for $38,300 without the $1000 money from Lexus (Must finance or Lease), then I would hurry up and purchase it right away! "So I did. Here are some other gems..."The only way someone is getting you below the Invoice price is with the $1000. This money is from Lexus so in order to get it, you HAVE to finance for a minimal of 3 months. If someone tells you otherwise, they are either 1) Lying to you or 2) Incompetent.""Please get me something in writing, otherwise there's not much I can do to assist you and your father as people can just make up figures, not saying that you are. So if you got $500 below invoice you would buy the vehicle? ""I appreciate your offer and as much as I would like to sell you the car for $1500 below invoice, the fact of the matter is we can't do that and I would bet won't find any dealership that would be anywhere near there unless it is a demo or used vehicle. Basically you are asking for us to pay you $1500 for us to sell you a car, that wouldn't make business sense. "

On a Sunday afternoon, I found a 2013 RX 350 of interest using the Lexus website and navigated to Lexus of Highland Park, who had the vehicle. After reviewing the details and history of the vehicle, I made a purchase inquiry via their website . I also sent a separate email asking specific questions about the RX. A short time later I received an automated email reply from Tom Covello. The following morning I received another email from Tom in which he addressed each of my questions. Later that Monday morning, I received a voicemail from Tom, who was following up. I returned the call and we had a good conversation, with Tom inviting me to the dealership to view the RX and discuss details. I drove to the dealership later that day and sat down with Tom to get acquainted. It was easy to establish a rapport, as Tom is very personable and direct. We took a short test drive, discussed a potential purchase, had my 2009 RX 350 appraised, and came to an agreement on the net trade. The rest of the transaction details were completed timely, I was given an introduction to the new features on the RX, other areas of the dealership, and then I was on my way home, pleased with my purchase and how I was treated by Tom and the dealership. I recommend both!

I would like to comment on the wonderful service experience I had with Jeff Richards at Lexus of Highland Park, IL. Jeff Richards was very thorough and patient going through the car buying experience with me. I knew what car I was looking for - a used Acura RDX - and Jeff answered all my questions in detail. He even went "above and beyond" by sharing additional information that helped me make my decision. When I returned the next day to actually purchase the car, Jeff personally picked me up at the Metra station. Throughout our transaction he made sure that I was comfortable and that everything went as smoothly as possible. There are a couple of loose ends to clear up with my car: the windshield wiper sprayer doesn't work and there is no license plate holder for the front of the car. Jeff again provided excellent service by taking the responsibility to order a license plate holder for me that I can pick up when I return to have the windshield cleaner repaired. He also made repair of the windshield wiper sprayer a service that Lexus of Highland Park would agree to provide at no additional charge. Neither of these items is necessarily included in the "as is" understanding when buying a used car, but I very much appreciate that he wanted me to be happy with my purchase - which I am. They already priced the car lower than anywhere else I'd seen. They explained that their pricing strategy is designed to attract Internet customers. Even so, I was still able to negotiate a better deal to the price I wanted. I really appreciated the low pressure sales.

This is the second car i purchased from this dealership. I decided to go back to this dealership due to the great experience I've had with them in the past. I am from the naperville area and this dealership is over an hour away from me!!! There are several lexus dealership closer to home (not to take anything away from them because from my experience, they are all great!!!), but LEXUS OF HIGHLAND PARK had the BEST PRICE and gave me THE BEST DEAL!!! Yesterday, my husband and I visited Lexus of Highland Park to see the RX350 model that we saw on line. We had made an inquiry about it and within minutes received a telephone call from Mario Mendez and we asked for him upon our arrival. Mario made us feel right at home and was very personable and friendly and very knowledgeable about the car we were looking for. We came in with information from other dealers and Mario went to "bat" for us and obtained the best price for our RX350. He was so good that my husband declded to trade in his 2007 Lexus ES350 (purchased three years ago at Lexus of Highland Park) for a newer 2010 Model, and again Mario worked with us and got us a great price. We were not expecting to purchase two cars yesterday, but working with Mario as well as Julio in the Finance Department at Lexus of Highland Park was truly a wonderful experience and we will recommend Lexus of Highland Park to our friends and will definitely be repeat customers for future purchases.

When we came to pick up they car they did not rush us through explaining how to use the features and connecting our blue tooth phones and iPod. Overall good experience. I told them what I wanted and they were able to locate it very quickly. This was the second dealership I went to and had really planned on visiting a few more before making a purchase. They wanted to make a deal that day. They asked me what it would take for me to not go to another dealership. I told them and after a little bit of back and forth we had a deal.

Unfortanately, the vehicle colors were not in stock to match my timing, and decided to select a vehicle with sports pacakagin and AWD.

Gary Chan was staying in contact on a regular basis since I first met him at the dealership and it helped me to contact him ASAP when I decided to buy the car. He was polite but not pushy, which I really appreciate, and was very helpful in every way. He showed up at the dealership 2 hours before his shift was supposed to start to make sure I get to see the car before anybody else. He also stayed late that day, waiting for my husband who was unable to get out from his work, so that we could close the transaction - great way to treat a customer.

I have purchased many vehicles, new and used, in the last decade, but have never left with as positive an impression as I did today when I left Lexus of Highland Park. Chad Simon, the sales manager I worked with, made sure to thoroughly address everything on my 'wish list' in helping me determine the perfect vehicle for me, as there were 3 cars on their lot I was considering. He was incredibly articulate and a pleasure to work with. It was nice to finally encounter a dealership where the sales manager was professionally dressed, well spoken and willing to be involved in the entire process instead of tucked in an office never to be seen! Johnny was kind enough to pull all the vehicles up for me, so I could see them side by side, while Chad reviewed the options on each so I could hone in on which one was perfect for my family. The cars I was considering were all used, from 2009 - 2012 - but were impeccably cleaned/presented. All 3 looked good as new! When I decided on a vehicle, Chad made sure to explain everything to me - from the financing/payments/warranty to how to operate everything in the vehicle. He must have done some leg work while I was on my test drive, because by the time I had decided on which of the vehicles I wanted, Julio - the finance manager, had things just about ready to go. Chad and Julio were clearly a solid representation of what anyone may encounter when walking in the doors here. This dealership has their act together... I felt welcomed, unrushed, educated about every detail of 'the deal', and I I truly feel there was not a better deal to be had! Their website mentions this is a 'true family dealership' - and they really mean it. This is an honest dealership, with honest employees dedicated to HELPING clients leave with exactly what they want! I could not be happier with the vehicle I left in, the price and rate i was given, and the way I was treated by EVERYONE I encountered. Chad, Julio and Lexus of Highland Park have earned my business forever more.... I drove over 60 miles to find this gem, and will be back again for my next vehicle!!

This beautiful new Lexus ES 350 is my Retirement Car...my gift to myself. We are so lucky that Gary Chan was the first person we met when we walked through the door. His fantastic smile is exactly what you want to see from a Sales Associate. His whole demeaner is calming and friendly and lets us know he is truly interested in getting to know us. My husband, Bob, and I decided that since he is the better negotiator, he would sit back and read his Nook while I picked out the car I wanted. Gary was so patient while I was deciding between 2 cars. He is knowledgable and answered all my questions and also offered valuable suggestions and comparisons for both cars. I was grateful that both of my test drives were appropriate distances to really get a feel for the cars, not just a quick drive around the block. Bob and I never felt pressured to purchase. My husband and I were in the market for a used Prius and found a car with the exact option were were looking for through an internet search which led us to Lexus of Highland Park. I contacted the dealership and withing minutes I received a call from Mario. He was able to answer all my questions about the car and said he would have the car ready for a test drive once we arrived. Since we live over 70 miles away from the dealership we did not arrive until 4:00 PM. Although it was late on a Saturday he did not make us feel that we under any pressure. After test driving the car we told Mario that we were interested and began to work out a deal. Although it was well past the normal closing time he was willing to work with us and we drove away happy owners of a Toyota Prius. I am amazed at how comfortable Mario and everyone else we dealt with there made us feel. Great experience.

This was the first time buying a car for me and i have been warned to expect from different friends that it would not go very smooth. When i first walked into the dealership Tom greeted me very warmly and Andy took me out on a test drive of the RX i wanted. They were flexible about negotiating on price and i was under no pressure to buy. They seemed really genuine about helping you get the car u need at the reasonable price ! I have given the rating I did because my experience with this dealership was very pleasant and professional from the time of my first inquiry phone call until my purchase of the vehicle. I had all of my questions answered promptly and courteously, Every step of the process was explained to me, and there were no snags or surprises. I traveled over 4 hours to purchase a used vehicle, and all major flaws with the car were accurately represented ahead of time as to not waste my time, something which I had experienced with other dealers in my search. I worked in particular with Mario Mendez, who was gracious enough to come in on his day off in order to broker the deal at my convenience, but I also encountered several other employees, such as the driver who met me at my train, the receptionist, and the finance manager, all of who were pleasant and professional. I would highly recommend the dealership to anyone.

The sales people were friendly, but I did not feel they were honest with me on special rebates and deals. The sales consultant I dealt with was low key which I appreciated. The problems developed when a different person, the sales manager,was offering me rebates on financing that we had to do on the side so the business manager did not know. I questioned the accuracy of the rebate at the time and received a confused answer. I talked to other dealerships and to corporate Lexus and there were no such financial rebates on the es model. For two weeks I was continually called by various people at the dealership which I did not appreciate. I called the sales consultant I dealt with and told him I was purchasing a car elsewhere. He called back within the hour to ask a question. One hour after that, I received a call from the dealership and was told the sales person was no longer working for them. I did not like the high pressure sales, the purposeful inaccurate presentations, and the way the dealership handled the sales consultant when the sales manager was to blame. I had bought a previous Lexus at this dealership and that is why I came back. I will not go back again.

It is the eighth Lexus that I have purchased from Highland Park over a 18-year period. All of my cars have been serviced there, and in all those years I have never had a problem with them. To the contrary, my experience has been consistently outstanding. Two of my salesmen have actually retired, so my new purchase was with someone new to me, Mario Mendez. Mario exemplifies Lexus. He is a quality person with a great product, and he takes the time to build a relationship not just make a sale. This being my wife's new car, he spent a great deal of time making her comfortable with the new technology and has followed up to be sure that she needs no further help. I have been searching for a car for my daughter (who is 16 years old) since May 2012. I wanted a used small suv with low miles, SAFE, with some options, and of course reasonably priced. I finally found this 2007 Mercury Mariner in a car sales magazine and called instantly to inquire about it. I spoke with Mario and explained that I was intersted in this car for my daughter. Mario was very helpful and informative. When I told him I couldnt get there until later on Saturday..he told me he would wait and would even hold the car for me until I could get there :) (with no GUARENTEE that I would purchase the car of course). When I got there Mario had the car waiting for my daughter to test drive it. Although she had her heart set on a Ford Escape she really liked this car. Mario was very curtious and accomodating, he was able to come down alittle in price for us which I really appreciated. My daughter now has her own car..a beautifully kept, one owner, clean carfax 2007 Mercury Mariner with only 65,000 miles. :) Needless to say she is thrilled and I am as well that we were lucky to find a good, safe car for her AND it was really a nice experience. As I said I have been looking for awhile now and have been to many dealers and have dealt with many PUSHY car salesmen... Mario made our experience at Highland Park Lexus enjoyable and with no pressure. I respect that & when the day comes that we need to purchase another vehicle, I would DEFINATLY go back to Highland Park Lexus...and back to Mario! :) Also..Lisa in finance was incredible as well, she even offered a us a good deal on a warrenty. :)

We drove in from Minnesota specifically to car shop. Visited three dealerships and returned to Lexus of Highland Park as they had exactly what we were looking for, in fact two autos. The price, year, lower mileage, condition met our criteria. We did not feel pressured as Jeff made us feel like we were his most important customer and his time was ours. After arriving at a mutually agreeable price the finance department took over and worked very quickly and diligently to get us an interest rate to not only meet the one we came in with, but even better terms. Jeff was always nearby to answer any questions we may have had. He took unhurried time to explain all the electronic features and even set up several functions for us at our direction. We have two sons who will be shopping in the future and we will certainly direct them to Lexus of Highland Park and specifically Jeff Richards.

I have been loyal Lexus owner for over 20 years and have had good luck with the service I have recieved from dealers in the past. However, this experience was not good because of luck. It was great because of the excellent, profesional, manner in which I was treated.Mario was very knowledgable and patient with me, I was not sure If I wanted the navigation system and worried that I would not know how to use it. He spent the better part of an hour showing me all the different benifits and made sure that I knew how to work it. He even told me to come back if I needed anymore help. Ie always hated car buying because I feel Il be taken for a ride. I did a lot of research this time and was incredibly happy with the experience. My wife went in for a test drive of a new Lexus ES350 and Susannah at the dealership took her for the drive. Susannah explained the car features and answered my wife questions and never felt any pressure to buy. I went back the next day armed with all the things I learned from the internet and she was very cordial and we agreed on a fair price. After a few days we went back to sign papers and they spent a few days and found exactly what we wanted. Glen (GM), Chad (SM), Lisa (finance) and others at the dealership were also great. A few days after delivery they even called back to ask if we had questions about all the technology in the car. This was the most pleasant experience I have ever had buying a car.

I was in no hurry to get a new car, since I still had a few months left on my lease. I however, was curious to see what was available for new Lexus styles I was greeted first by a very friendly front desk, I suppose she was a greeter. Shortly after Mario approached me and showed me around. i immediately fell in love with the GS and before I knew it Mario and the man behind the curtain took me out of my old lease and I was driving a brand new 2013 GS350 for a just a few dollars more then my previous car which was nowhere near as nice. Lisa in finance was great, they made it easy and will go back again....for sure.

I inquired online for a price quote,no sales person ever got back to me or even followed up.I called and spoke with a sales person who said that he would call back within the hour.Four hours later I called him back,he did not answer,the phone operator took my info and assured me that he would get right back to me, again no call. EXTREMELY POOR SERVICE!!!

I made an appointment for an oil change and was told it would take NO MORE than 45 mins.When I arrived I was now told it would 60-65 mins? After an hour and 15 mins later I had to ask what was taking so long and was told that they were finished and they are just washing the car now. 20 mins. later they pulled the car up and I asked the cashier if I could pay my bill and she rudely said that she didn't have it and that I had to see Mohamad. I went back to Mohamad who was too busy to take care of my bill. The 45 mins. became almost 2 hours, I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE.

They are the most trouble dealership in all Lexus dealers, I have visited many Lexus dealers in IL, WI, and FL and Lexus of Highland Park is the worst of allI had rattle noise coming from the dashboard of my GS350 whish should be covered under Lexuss warranty but they wanted to charge me for fixing it, I asked to talk to the service manager and their GM and all told me the same thing that I should be charged for fixing it if I decided to fix itso I called Lexus main office and they told me I SHOULDNT be charged because its covered under Lexus dealer, and sure enough I went to a different dealer and it was fixed for free..DONOT go to this dealer

Mike did a great job with my CPO purchase of an IS250 AWD. HE was straight forward, honest and a pleasure to deal with. Same with the financing department. They did not force me to get anything I did not want. Really a great experience. I was treated with dignity and honesty. It was actually a pleasure to go car shopping here. I would recommend that you ask for Mike if you plan on buying from there. He did a great job!

i have a GS350 - came in for an oil change, but the service department discovered some additional issues. I was not totally satisfied with the outcome when I left.After a couple of email exchanges with the service manager, Bob Arnold, he made some additional inquiries with Lexus and solved my issue beyond my expectation. I think the mark of any good service business is how you react to a potential negative situation and I must say the Bob and the dealer along with Lexus did a stand up job. He/they reversed a bad situation and will continue to keep my loyalty.Thanks again, Bob.

I have had more recalls and problems with my 2008 GS350 (purchased brand new). The most recient issues was moisture in my head light and bubbling / peeling plating my my rims. I took my car in for serive. I called 3 days prior to make an apt and make sure I had a loaner car ready. I walked in and proceeded to tell them all of the issues I was having with my car. I had to argue with Dino about the plating on my rims. He told me that my warrant was voided on the rims becasue I scuffed 2 of the rims on a curb. I started to get upset and ask how could a scuff cause plating issues around the lug nuts and inside of the rims..... I was then asked to have a seat in the waiting room for a loaner car. and TOLD I should have a car in about an hour. GREAT SERVICE !!!! I then left the dealership and took my car to a delership that know what customer service is!!! Mcgrath Lexus!Great Job Highland park lexus! Customer service rating of a 0..... not only an i disapointed in my car but highland park did not help any and i left more upset than I came in... Another call into 1-800-25-Lexus.........Unsatisfied customer

Having purchased and serviced multiple new Lexus cars from this dealer, and having been present during times they were responding to other customers as well, I can report an attitude of responsibility and respect to those that present themselves to request theie expertise. Whether it is for service and guidance or appropriate negatiations during a purchase, their staff knows how to treat a customer. Their honesty and candor coupled with ability (in diagnosing and repairing) Lexus cars is appreciated. They know their business and how to manage the problems that might arise. For sales and service, I am at ease and confident I will be treated respectfully as their job will be done. Over time, I have tgried many others. This is the best. They display an attitude that, "Lexus is better."

The staff at Lexus of Highland Park are very welcoming and friendly. They are very knowledgeable in the industry and answer all questions when asked. I have bought four vehicles from this family owned dealership, and am extremely pleased with the way they handle their business. I have also compared prices at this location to other car dealers in the general vicinity. They always take care of me, giving me a great deal for my money and trade in. They are always competitive and usually much lower than the other dealers in town. Buying my car from Lexus of Highland Park was the best decision I have ever made. I have never had a bad experience with them. I even had a fun time while waiting...as I was allowed to bring my dog into the dealership. The time went by quickly, as I sat and sipped my complimentary coffee. Thank you, Lexus of Highland Park, for showing me what a great car shopping experience is supposed to be like. I will not shop anywhere else for my cars ever again!

Do they know what they are doing? I have read the reviews and thought that I would have an excellent experience.... It sounds like this is a better service dealer. The attitude that the clients have to deal with is terrible. The family managers are rude, do not follow up and think that it is a priveledge to work with them. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone. On the other hand, I must be fair in saying that my salesperson took the time to speak with me and seems to be a nice family man stuck at a bad dealership. You should go to Bredeman where they treat people nicely - that is where I went.

We have been buying and servicing Lexus vehicles from Highland Park Lexus since 1993 and are very satisfied with both the Sales and Service Departments. We have never have been as comfortable with any other dealer and we have been buying and maintaining autos since the mid-50's. Highland Park Lexus has resolveded any and all issues I have experienced with the multiple vehicles we have bought from them. They even worked with Lexus to replace one vehicle when Lexus was unable to correct a vibration problem. And the car was replaced with teh next year's model, all with no cost me me.

I live in Chicago, but I'm willing to travel all the way to Highland Park because LHP is the best dealer I've ever experienced. From the moment the service advisor greets you until the car is ready, the staff is friendly, helpful and quite knowledgable. The car is always serviced properly, and there is no need to return because something wrong was done. Also, the car is washed on every visit, and a loaner is given the customer whenever it is needed. I am able to view the service area--it is spotless and gives one the confidence that these are professional mechanics. Given that the car is a Lexis, I find the price very reasonable. Often, items are fixed without incurring a charge. I highly recommend LHP.

I have been a service customer at Lexus of Highland Park for close to 10 years and have always been impressed with the quality of work performed on all of my cars. I have had 4 different Lexus and 2 Toyota cars taken care of and they consistently meet and exceed my expectations, both in honesty and deliverables of excellent service. They keep my car in great shape, suggest only what is needed, stand by their work, and make the experience as good as it can be. In all of my time as a customer there, they have been working hard at keeping me happy and making me feel like I am always first and foremost in their eyes. Bob Arnold, the service director, runs a good ship, sets the tone and all of their advisors that I have been in contact share his enthusiasm and drive for excellence. Their Service techs are well trained, well mannered and have been always straight about what work needs to be done. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the work done and experience at the store. I would HIGHLY recommend Lexus of Highland Park, IL, when it comes to a quality service department.

I have purchase several cars from this dealership. They have been very attentive to all my needs. They are very caring and professional. During the sale I met several employees including the service manager, sales manager and even said hello the the owner. They are all very personable and friendly. Lexus of Highland Park is a first class company. I would not hesitate for any moment to purchase another car from them.

I've been a loyal customer for 16 Years. I 've worked with just about everyone in the Dealership at one time or another. They have always accomidated me when ever I needed service no questions asked. They seem to be genuine in there care for the customer and do whatever is right for the customer. Thay provide mye with a loaner and I am asked if I want a fresh Bagel and coffee for the road. Now that's customer service! My sales experience has been the same. I am a 10 Lexus owner and each one has been purchsed from Lexus of Highland Park. I always get a fair deal and again they care! After reading some of the shall we say "unsatisfied" comments here it seems to me some are acting out as a spoiled toddler would. Screaming and kicking because they didn't get there way. I'd love to hear both sides. Everyone there treats me like a king. Maybe that's because treat them with the same respect given. I'll continue to purchase ALL my Lexus from them. Why not?

When my mother-in-law bought a new Lexus last year she gave me her 2002 Lexus RX300. I love it and I am continuing the maintenance and upkeep with Lexus of Highland Park even though I live in Chicago. I've had nothing but great experiences here. They are highly professional and service is quick!

I am always greeted promptly and enthusiastically. The prices are always fair and competative. Never have I had any trouble getting an appointment almost right away and if the service takes more than an hour, they always provide me with a loaner. Had no idea what I wanted so I decided to submit and Internet lead. I was contacted by Nick P (the e-Commerce Manager) within 60 seconds of my submission. He helped guide me through the available makes and models of every vehicle in the Lexus line-up. He was easy to talk to and was low pressure and made a test drive appointment for me. When I arrived, I worked with one of Nick P's Sales Associates - Nick G. Nick G. was great, he really knew the vehicle line-up and spend hours reviewing each vehicle's features and benefits. This was by far he best experience I have had with an automotive dealer. The Sales Associate (Jessica Berg) provided up front, open, honest communication throughout the entire process. She provided me detailed information about the brand, vehicle, dealership and herself all via the Internet. It was a fantastic experience and I have told anyone I know who is even thinking about a vehicle to see Jessica and Jennifer at Lexus of Highland Park! The Finance experience was easy and straighforward as well. No pressure to purchase unneeded products and or services. All of the documentation was simple and straightfoward. This is a great family owned dealership, where everyone knows your name and treats you as they would a guest in their home! Dealer told us they parcipated in the CARS aka "Cash for Clunkers" program. We then negotiated and entered into a SIGNED contract (purchase agreement) with us 7/25/09 to purchase a new 2008 Lexux RX 400h. The contract contained the price of the car, vin number, options included, our down payment and reference to the $4,500 credit our trade in vehicle was permitted. We obtained financing within three business days (because our intrest rate was far better than they could obtain) and told the dealer immediately on receipt on 7/29/09 that we had CASH to complete the transaction.They began ducking our calls on 7/31/09. We thought it very strange that they would turn away a customer with CASH IN HAND! They apparently didn't care if they didn't get our business.On 8/1/09, what may been the last day of the CARS program (for all we knew,) after we told the sales manager we were coming to get our car, they immediately called us back and told us they would NOT give us the car and accept our money unless they FIRST got their money from the govt. They had no idea when that could or woud occur. However, IF we agreed, they would release the car to us on 8/1/09, but ONLY if we agreed to deposit an ADDITIONAL $4,500 in proceeds (representing our govt. credit) which they could keep if they didn't get reimbursed. They told this they were taking this position with the four or five other customers that were participating in the CARS program as we were. We told them their conduct was dishonest and fraudulent and that they were in violation of our contract. No one made them participate in the CARS program. They simply could have told people it was a hassle and they weren't participating. However, they knew the rules of the program and that payment to them would likely be delayed from the govnt. That is no reason to deny a person their car. Given their complete incompetence and thier dishonesty, we told them we would be reporting them to the BBB, Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan's office, LEXUS and the CARS Program for fraud, all of which we have done.

Dealer turned my car away for service after having spent 7K in Wisconsin for a new short engine block. They simply said they would not try to repair my car or offer any information on the diagnostics. Car is having cylinder misfires. As soon as I asked for repair documentation on how to diagnose error codes 1349, 0300, 0301, 0303, 0305, they simply refused to service my vehicle, closed out the service order and called it a 'legal document.'Granted, the dealership did not do the original repairs but they know they were performed incorrectly and will not help.
