Our saleswoman, Michele Johns, found us the exact car we wanted at a very fair price without all the uncomfortable haggling. Just a few negotiations and we were on our way in a beautiful new car. Michele was so knowledgeable, patient and sweet. We have found ourselves a new dealership, Lexus of Ann Arbor and a new saleswoman, Michele Johns. Bought a used 2004 ES330 (private sale) asked them to look it over - especially brakes. Did brake adjustment - told me I don't need brake pads or rotors turned or replaced. Grand Rapids Lexus 2 weeks later recommended new pads and rotors. Had to call multiple times to get dent and paint eval - finally told needs paint and body shop work - beyond capabilities of touchup paint and dent - after 5 followup phone calls by me.Missed over (55 psi) and under (19 psi) pressurized tires during their inspection. Missed inop windshield washer sprayer and malfunctioning rain sensor. Missed multiple engine cover clips missing and missing rear trunk lid cushion. Front hood misaligned due to mal-adjusted rubber bumper cushions. Battery dead when I went to pick it up. Charged $15 to replace wiper blades - put a wrong size 26 inch on drivers side instead of 24 inch - it tangled with the passenger side when activated and bent metal blade assembly. Replaced both myself in NAPA parking lot - took 2 mins. Replaced cabin and engine air filters - found disconnected vacuum hoses and only one of Two screws tightened on engine air filter intake assembly. Did PS, brake and coolant flushes - said needed it. Seems like obvious ignored to sell the easy, fast and profitable. Made me feel like my business didn't matter-just a second class citizen with an 11-year old Lexus.

I have been a Lexus leaser for 15 years and one of the reasons that I choose Lexus has been its excellent, efficient service. I had a disappointing experience for this service, not due to poor service on the car, but due to poor communication. My phone number was written down incorrectly by the service agent, Roy, and/or the receptionist. In spite of evidence that they had the wrong number, no apparent effort was made to find the source of the error, which given my long history with Lexus and unchanged phone number, should not have been very difficult. My frustration with the situation was met with defensiveness rather than acknowledgement of the inconvenience and error. This was not the professionalism I have come to expect from the dealership at all levels.

Driver picked up car and I told him tire rotation needed according to display in car. Got a call at noon that car was done, asked about tire rotation, service department never got the message

We previously had a horrendous experience with the service center at Lexus of Ann Arbor - incomplete repairs, oil leakage after oil change due to non-tightening of bolts, repairing headlights that would go out after several weeks due to wires that weren't plugged in correctly, and on and on. But things have changed - may I say dramatically - in the last 2 visits (spanning the last 4 months). Our service personnel is Chuck, and we cannot say enough of how professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and proactive he is in making us feel well taken care of, in making sure our vehicle was comprehensively and completely repaired or serviced, and was communicative about all that was done for our vehicle. Now that there is a new service manager and service personnel, namely Chuck, we will be returning to Lexus of Ann Arbor.

On Tuesday September 1 Lexus of Ann Arbor rotated my tires on my RX 350 and gave me a carwash. All work was completed within an hour and was completed with exceptional care. I would definitely recommend this dealer for my next service. This is the second time I've completed this review as my former one did not contain the requisite 25 words minimum. Get real you guys. How much can you say about a tire rotation and carwash? I will inform my dealer of this episode and attempt to convince them to use other means to judge customer satisfaction. Perhaps you should re-examine your own instruments to assure you are obtaining real and useful results for your clients instead of satisfying your own statistical requirements.

We would have provided an excellent rating except we felt the finance person could have been more thorough when going over the lease terms. It was quick but a little more time going through the details would have been let us know that a 4350 deposition fee would be required upon lease completion unless another Lexus was purchased. Other than this issue our sales person Michele was great and the sales manger Ken provided a no nonsense deal over the phone that made the process very pleasant.

After about 2 1/2 months since my purchase of a certified RX450h, I noticed the alignment of my rear bumper was off and loose enough to raise up by hand into perfect alignment. I went to the service center without an appointment and they took me in right away. They said that to secure the bumper would only take an hour and that it was not covered by the Bumper to bumper warranty. So, for $118 I said go ahead. Within a half hour they had diagnosed that there were two bumper clips that were broken and the parts would have to be ordered. The difficulty was that the cost was now going to be $460. I told them that I would need to think about it. They then had my car washed and firmed up the bumper temporarily within 15 minutes. Great service! Although I am still surprised the repair is not covered?

I took the car for a basic oil change maintenance. I was told the job will be done in 45-60 minutes but It took almost 4 hours. 10 AM till 1:45 PM. The two Brians patiently assisted me in my inspection and trial of several Lexus models. A new NX200t was finally selected by me off of the showroom floor. The automobile was delivered in impeccable condition and Brian Frawley spent a generous amount of time showing me the various hi-tech and safety features to be found in my new NX. I have now put about 800 miles on the new vehicle and it is absolutely flawless in terms of fit and finish with the power train and every feature functioning as intended. Great job, Lexus!

I took my Lexus 350 over to Lexus of Ann Arbor for the first time this week and the experience was fabulous. The representative who checked me in was quick and courteous. He helped me with a problem I was having with syncing imaps on my iPhone to the car audio, which was something I just couldn't figure out myself. The service call went smoothly and they washed my car exterior before handing it back to me. I love my car and now I love the service department at Lexus of Ann Arbir too!

Bought 2012 Certified ES350 in May. The ride and steering were not right. Tires on car were not original at 17K. Mechanic found alignment was not correct. On road test, mechanic was informative, honest and extremely polite. I will change tires to get that superb Lexus feel.

I bought a pre-owned lexus sedan and waited for 15 days until expiry of the "applied for license" duration. On 14th day (yesterday) I called to check the status and spoke to my salesperson who told me its ready and to come and pick it up. On arriving the shop (after driving 65+ miles direct from my work) was told that manager forgot to send the application to state and that I have to wait for another 15-days. Although they gave me another temporary 15 days "applied for sticker" to be pasted on back windshield, I felt this incident to be highly unprofessional for a lexus dealership to miss or forget such an important step in post-sale procedures. They should have let me known this when I called them. I had to waste my trip from out of city just for nothing (well they gave me new temporary sticker). What would have happened if I 'd just waited for another day to receive a call from the dealership?). I also wonder how this process gone unnoticed for about 2-weeks post-sale (until I came in for my doc) and do they really have any in-house quality assurance procedures in place? I am yet to check out this dealership for other services etc so cant say anything about it. I will wait till I receive license plate and registration and may update my review accordingly in future.

I was told my car would be fix in a day but it took 4 days. I was given one out the door price ($936) when I gave you guys the ok to do the work. I asked if you guys could come down on the price. You guys gave me 10% off. When my car was ready the price was $917. I was told there were some service fees that I had to pay that made my bill over $1000. I feel that I was give 10% off so you guy changed my out the door total to get more money. I feel like you guys stole from me!!!

My wife and I had just purchased a used vehicle from Lexus of Ann Arbor before the 4th of July weekend. The vehicle itself had a lot of miles on it, but being true to Lexus form you couldn't tell by driving it. We took it on a test drive and loved it. We bought it that very day. However later in the same day our excitement had turned to concern, since we noticed a loud scraping sound emanating from underneath the rear passenger side of the vehicle. The vehicle was not covered under warranty so we were worried. Being the 4th of July weekend everybody was off. I used their online appointment scheduler to schedule and appointment and in the mean time searched discussion forums on the internet to find out if other owners had experienced the same problems. It turned out that they did. I noted their corrective actions and on the day of my appointment shared it with the service staff. Chuck Kelley was the gentleman that completed the paperwork for servicing the vehicle. He listened closely and took notes as I described the problem and also what i had found based on my internet research. Once everything was noted I waited in their wi-fi equipped lounge. The repair was quick and it turned out that the problem had been what I had read about on the online discussion forums. They didn't even charge me for the repair. Very quick, courteous and professional sales and service staff. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others based on my experience.

I used their online appointment scheduler to schedule and appointment and in the mean time searched discussion forums on the internet to find out if other owners had experienced the same problems. It turned out that they did. I noted their corrective actions and on the day of my appointment shared it with the service staff. Chuck Kelley was the gentleman that completed the paperwork for servicing the vehicle. He listened closely and took notes as I described the problem and also what i had found based on my internet research. Once everything was noted I waited in their wi-fi equipped lounge. The repair was quick and it turned out that the problem had been what I had read about on the online discussion forums. They didn't even charge me for the repair. Very quick, courteous and professional sales and service staff. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others based on my experience.

STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! These guys are totally dishonest. Brought my vehicle into these guys because there isn't a really close alternative to have them fix my window which broke half way down. They fixed it. But then, after i drove home, i noticed that the driver side door wouldn't lock and wouldn't recognize my key. This was fine before. After window repair, now it's broken. Sounds pretty much like an open and shut case that whatever they did caused the problem. Yet they charged me $200 to replace a wire and wouldn't let me take my car while i talked to corporate. They were extremely rude about the whole thing. This has pretty much led me not to purchase a Lexus at all in the future given my experience--how can corporate let this stuff keep going on? My friends have had similar experiences and have complained to corporate as well, so they know about the problems and yet have not put the hammer to these idiots. That's ok, maybe it's time for a Mercedes anyways.

It shows.The Ct200h lease was an excellent choice for us. Right now even with the chilling temps, were hovering around 40mpg, down from 47mpg when the weather was over 50. This vehicle is a dream to drive, and when the lease runs out, will seek some advice from you guys once again, to further the Lexus experience given our garage would accept nothing less. Yesterday, December 24, 2014, I had to contact Lexus Roadside assistance. My car would not start. I suspected it was the battery, but was a little concerned that I would be having a problem with my battery because, just last year I had purchased a new battery that was installed at Lexus of Ann Arbor dealership...Imagine my dismay when I was told I needed a battery replacement by the road side assistance sevice rep. So, I did the dreadful call to Ann Arbor of Lexus service department to make an appointment to have my call inspected. Dan WIlson answerd the call. I told Dan my name, explained that I needed a new battery (per the roadside assaitance guy). I also asked Dan to put my name in the computer and remind me of the purchase date for the previously purchased new car battery. Dan informed me that the battery was purchased in Juky 2013.I then asked Dan to explain to me, why I would be needing a new battery after having a new one installed 17 mnths previous. Dan response was "I don't know, you'll have to bring your car to the service depatment so we could look at it". I asked Dan was it normal for a new batterty to be replaced after having a new one for such a short amount of time. Dan stated, "I don't know, you'll need to bring your vehicle in so we can look at it". I could see that me questioning was being spoke on deaf ears.Now as a service representative and manager of the service department, I know good and well that Dan has enough knowedge about the Lexus vehicle to inform me at a minimum, that this might be unusual for the need for a battery replacement after 17 months. Instead, I just got the response that I needed to bring my vehicle in to the service department for service. I asked for possible explainations for why my car would need a new battery, all to no avail. Once again, I was told, That I needed to bring my vehicle into the service department for service. Now, let me remind you that my vehicle information and service history is right in front of Dan on the computer screen, because he just informed me that I purchased a new battery in July 2013.This has been the typical communications beween Dan and I. I can get no answer or explanations to my inquires about my vehcie when I speak with him. I recently made a complaint against Dan for this very reason several months ago. I had no intention of doing business with this dealership as long as I have to communicate with him. I was at a disadvantage here on this date because it's Christmas eve and 2pm in the afternoon. So I had no choice but to contact Lexus of Ann Arbor. Which resulted in loosey service again from Dan.So after talking to Dan and feeling like once again I would have to verbally fight to be heard and get answers to my questions, I contacted another ownwer of a Lexus dealership. I simply did not feel like fighting (verbally) again with this man (Dan). The owner of another Lexus dealership assisted me previously because Dan would not. So, I called the owner, informing him that I once again was having problems talking with Dan, explained what was going on with my vehicle. He simply asked me 2 questions. Candace, "When did you buy the battery"?, I informed him Dan told me July 2013. He asked, "Did you buy the battery"? I stated, "yes". He stated, "Candace your battery is covered under warrantee, you dont need to buy another battery". My reply, "Then why couldn't Dan just inform me of this when I called? Thats all he had to say to me. My vehicle history information was right there. The dealership owner advised me to drive to the Ann Arbor dealership right now, becasue they closed at 4pm and that he would contact the sevice department to address my inquiry.WHY DID I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THAT?????? Why couldn't Dan just simply take an extra moment and look at my vehicle history and advise me that the battery should be covered/replaced because of the time period (battery warranty) that the last battery was installed? Would he not know that the car battery should be replaced without any cost to me after looking at the last battery installation date? Why did he just choose not to tell me that information on the telephone? I just don't get it. It just doesnt make any sense why he communicates the way that he does. I have the right to ask questions, because I want to understand whats going on with my vehicle. I have not been rude or impolite to Dan when I've asked questions. Im simply looking for answers. It's not until he refuses to answer questions, that I get pissed off.I saw a statement on the Lexus-Reviews. com.........."Lexus will treat each customer as we would as a guest in our home". This statement is simply not true...I have not had this experience at the service department at Lexus of Ann Arbor. I've recently made the same type of complaint against Dan WIlson....I do not wish to be contacted by him at all. There is nothing I want from him. I will not accept any apology from him, nor am I intereted in him making this situation right and resolve the problem. I just should not be treated this way when I call or physically walk into the service center.I have to wonder why I receive the treatment that I get from Dan. I'd hate to think that he has biases against particular customers, becasue I'm sure the Lexus Corporation is much more responsible when if comes to providing service to all of thier customers. I simply don't have any negaive expereinces of being treated in this matter by any other Lexus representative since owning a Lexus vehicle. As stated previously, I have no intention of doing any business at this dealership as long as Dan Wilson is a representative for the Lexus Corporation. This is more than a letter of recommendation, it is a letter of praise for Dan Wilson the newest service mgr. (a little over 2 yrs. now) at Lexus of Ann Arbor.I am on my 3rd Lexus over the last 14 yrs. from this dealership and, while my interactions with the salespeople, GM, and owners (Rosario and Deanna Criscuolo, father and daughter) has been outstanding, Dan is the guy that keeps me coming back to Lexus of Ann Arbor. Here's why; I buy my cars outright (first 2, Certified Pre Owned both came with 100,000 mi. warranties, and the last one, new in 2013), I don't lease so I (not the bank or finance co.) OWN these vehicles. So while the short time I spend in the sales and trade in depts. is obviously very important when purchasing my vehicles (and I've had great experiences with all of these people), the time I spend with service is critical in maintaining my "investments" over a 5-6 yr. period before I trade them in for my next Lexus. Dan has been outstanding as the Service Mgr. He is extremely conscientious, and very eager to please, always finding ways to give you the best, most affordable, and trouble free service...including a "loaner", which is usually the same model you're having serviced, if necessary. I am a demanding, but fair, customer when it comes to maintaining "my baby" and Dan has more than exceeded my high expectations of him and his service dept. I highly recommend Dan and his service dept. whether you're buying new, used, or just having your car serviced, you will be pleasantly surprised...I personally guarantee it. As a side note of the importance of maintaining your luxury import, I received $17,000 for my 2007 Lexus ES 350 with 70,000mi. on it in 2012 when I traded it in for my new 2013 ES 350. It was immaculate inside and out and perfect mechanically. Because of this the sales mgr. offered me what's called a Lexus "One Pay" Lease meaning I give them the $17,000 from my trade in, plus another $1000 ($18,000 total) and I drove away in a brand new (I was planning on buying Pre Owned again) 2013 ES 350 for 3 years, 30,000 mi. and NO payments (which allowed me not to have to part with $45,000 of my money to purchase this vehicle outright and instead put it to other uses, like investing). I will purchase my 2013 ES 350 at the end of of the One Pay lease in 2015, keep it for another 4 yrs, 70,000 miles, and start this process all over again at LEXUS OF ANN ARBOR. Not to mention the winter before last my 2007 ES 350 was damaged ($5,000 worth) sliding across glare ice turning into the dealership off of Jackson Rd. when I was bringing it in for service. Not happy about this and feeling the dealership should have salted the road (even though it's the cities responsibility) I spoke with George Fulks, service mgr. at the time who connected me with Deanna Criscuolo (owner) who graciously agreed to split my $500 insurance deductible with me to have the car repaired. It was extremely thoughtful, and a smart business move as I will buy Lexus's from Lexus of Ann Arbor for the rest of my life.

I have had the worst customer service from the service department from this dealership. The service manager lacks effective communicating and simply by choice, ignores customer concerns, doesnt return calls, expresses that he will resolve concern when you do talk with him, But does absolutely NOTHING. The leasing manager, well, after lengthy conversation, he simply made it obvious that he was just not listening.

We went in to purchase a new Lexus. We had a beautiful very well maintained Lexus to trade in .We also had an American car. They badgered American cars to pieces then stole our trade in. The Lexus beautiful without a scratch in perfect running condition they stole as well. After we got home and figured out we got soooo ripped on our trades it was unreal. Now, when I see cars equivalent to ours in the paper for double the price. I can't look on the road at a car that looks like our trades I literally get sick to my stomach. Be careful with this dealership. The manager was called in to reinforce the rip off. My gutt told me to get up and walk out now I have beat myself up every single day for not listening. Any dealership in the country would have treated us better. The story they sold us buy Lexus your trade will be worth so much more, yeah.... Go anywhere but Ann Arbor!!!!

the sales person greeted me and took me out to see cars. when we came back in the building Kevin took over. Didn't shake my hand, hardly introduced himself. I said I was looking for a car as in the ad I had seen. He sat down at the computer and started listing out plus and minus numbers. didn't make any notes as to what my payment would be in the end so I was making notes. really didn't feel he felt I was a serious buyer. I went to Meade Lexus and got the car I wanted for $700 less and a monthly payment of $20 less. This is the second time I've tired Ann Arbor and was disappointed as was my friend a month ago who also ended up at Meade.

I recently purchased a certified pre owned Lexus ES 350 at Lexus of Ann Arbor, and not only do I adore the vehicle (thanks for everything Jim!!) but I really actually LIKE coming to Lexus of AA to get my car serviced!!! (I know that some folks do NOT typically like going for car service). My service advisors (Duane & Derek especially!) are more than helpful and have gone out of their way to make me feel welcomed in the dealership and I always feel overwhelmingly taken care of in terms of both vehicle service and UNDERSTANDING the service performed on the vehicle. We had taken this vehicle, LX 470, 2002, to several Lexus dealers in the area for intermittent non-starting problem, and each time, the work was rushed and bandaged and the probblem pessisted. We had changed spark plugs, cleaned filters, changed gas, the problem pessited. But Duane of Lexus of Ann Arbor did not give up until he found the root cause of the problem. He was patient, he communicated well with us, the technician doing the work and the lexus technical service center. Finding the root cause was his priority and it led to a simple low cost solution. It was like night and day. When I drove it after the repair, it felt as if the LX 470 has just been converted from V6 to V8. It has been more than 6 months and the vehicle drives great and the non-starting problem has not repeated. Thanks Duane! You made us love the LX 470 again, just like we did when we bought it in 2005.

After having our vehicles serviced by independent mechanics in recent years I decided to give the Lexus dealership a try. I had resisted this fearing the costs would be exorbitant. Last October I brought my Lexus into the dealership and had an excellent experience. I felt like the manager, Dan, made a sincere effort to keep the costs down while addressing the necessary issues with my vehicle. This week when my check engine light began flashing I brought the vehicle in fearing again that I would get socked with a huge bill. That was not the case. The problem was fixed for what seemed like a reasonable cost. Today we brought in our Toyota because Dunning Toyota couldn't service the vehicle until late next week. We picked up the vehicle a few hours ago - the cost was reasonable, car was cleaned inside and out, and the turn around time was about 6 hours. They made a new customer of my wife and kept an existing customer very satisfied.

I drive completely out of my way to go to this dealership for anything, even an oil change. All because the customer care and service is outstanding. You get the best customer service and they care about the customers needs. If they need my car for a long period of time Duane always has a car for me to take home so I do not have to sit and wait. They will do what ever it takes to assist the customer. I have never been to a dealership/service that treats their customers with this kind of care. Best service ever!!!!!! In general, I have found Lexus dealers/employees to be superior to any others I have met in over 50 years of owning cars (Lexuses since 2002) and having them serviced. Today my Service Consultant was Duane Truhn and he was great. Duane knows the auto business, he knows what customers need and how to provide the service in an efficient first rate manner. He has great "people skills", and he's a communicator. Duane is a professional ! If I were manager of an auto dealership, I'd hire Mr. Truhn in a minute and there's nothing better that could be said about a person than that. I came in just for an oil change and to check out a noise in the front on the drivers side. I had purchased the car used in NJ (that's where I live) about a year ago. After about a month of driving it I heard this noise which turned out to be a warped rotor. This was fixed at the dealership in NJ. I had to bring the car in twice because the first time they could't find it. This was my first Lexus and my first SUV. They asked me how I liked it. I told them it was ok but it was horrible on the bumps. I just figured that's how they rode. After the rotor was fixed there still was a noise. I've been driving back and forth to Ann Arbor to see my granddaughter. On this last trip the oil change indicator came on. Instead of driving back to NJ to have it serviced I had it done in Ann Arbor. Good thing because when Dan the service director took it out for a road test on a bumpy road he realized immediately that it needed a new steering column. I can't understand why the dealership in NJ didn't pick up on this. Thank goodness we are all safe and the car rides beautifully. If I decide to get another Lexus I will probably get it at Lexus of Ann Arbor because I trust their service department. Dan is committed to the safety of his customers period. Plus everyone there is so nice.

We have leased and purchased two vehicles from Spartan Toyota within the last 6yrs. Most recently, we purchased a Toyota Sienna Limited AWD from the Toyota dealership and since we live in Ann Arbor we were referred to Lexus of AA for our service opportunities beyond the initial warranty coverage. For almost every service appt we have had at Lexus of AA, our service consultant was Derek Kuri. Derek is an amazing individual with a focus on communication and customer service as his priority. Last Friday, my wife was driving the car and the back passenger tire was noted to be flat. We called Derek and he facilitated ordering of the tire as well as coordinating our oil change, tire rotation and fixing of the rear cargo door which was not opening properly. He phoned me regularly with updates, and when I picked up the car I noticed the car was washed and the tires were shined like new. Now everytime I have go to Lexus of AA, I ask and hope for Derek to be involved. He is an outstanding individual and serves as a model for other's in customer service jobs. I also want to thank Joe Criscuolo from the Spartan Toyota dealership who facilitated between Lexus of AA and Toyota. I am extremenly happy with my service appointments and would recommend Lexus of AA to anyone!!!

I had a lot of questions that your sales representative seemed to be quite informative about. He was able to give me a ballpark range of what the trade in value of my current vehicle would be. He laid out payment options for a couple of the cars I was inquiring about. Mr. Heringhaus seemed to be very knowledgeable about the cars he was showing me. The pros and cons were laid out and I felt like he was there to be an instrument for my use, opposed to just being an car sales man that will tell you anything to get you to buy.Anyways, right now isn't the perfect time for me to purchase a new vehicle, however, in three to six months I think I may be in a better position to purchase. He gave me an ETA, and even took me down to the shop floor and explained exactly what was going on. Bought our first Lexus, an ES, at Lexus of Ann Arbor in 2004. Had it serviced there until we traded it in 2006. Our current cars, a GX and a GS, were both purchased there and we have always had them serviced there. All of the staff, Ramey Miller in particular, have been great to work with and service has always been top notch. Granted, Lexus service is a little pricy, but but the technicians are Lexus trained, so I know my cars are serviced properly. Ramey has never pushed service that wasn't necessary and has always explained what and why. We don't plan on buying anywhere else and as long as we own Lexus vehicles we plan on having them serviced at Lexus of Ann Arbor.

My husband and I have owned and leased Lexus cars for over 15 years. Recently, I leased 3 cars one year ago, and had an outstanding experience, as usual. I have had questions about some of the new features in our cars, and every single person I have interacted with at the dealership, Tareck, Mike and Rami, have been very knowledgeable about the features on each car, and patiently helped us get accustomed to the cars. I have owned several models over the 15 year span, and the service has always been great. The response is always "how can I best help you". I recently bought a Ford Escape just as a runaround car- what a difference!! That made me realize how much I take for granted being a Lexus Owner - I expect clean facilities, courtesy, and people knowledgeable about the cars they sell/service, and I get that and so much more at Lexus of Ann Arbor. I found none of these at the Ford dealership I went to - in fact, the first time I was there for about 45 mins or 1 hour in a dirty waiting room with stained carpet, none of the sales people acknowleged me, or asked how I liked the vehicle, or told me about upcoming improvements. This had NEVER happened at Lexus. Lexus dealership personnel always make me feel that my business is appreciated, keep me updated on new features in their vehicles, and coming improvements. The dealership is always clean, smells fresh, welcoming, and they make an effort to keep this high standard. If there is one criticism it is that the customer service is so seamless, expected and high standard, that I forget sometimes to say thank you as a customer, great job, and continue the great work. Thank you to the personnel at Lexus of Ann Arbor. To Rami Miller, Tareck Ramlawi and Mike Kline my utmost thanks, for the smiles, the help, the patience, sharing your incredibly broad knowledge of the excellent cars we have bought from you - you represent Lexus well. I had been looking for a certified used car for quite some time and was hesitant at first to buy a Lexus. Most of the luxury cars I have owned/driven in the past have been German and I wasn't sure if I wanted to switch to a Lexus. Brett, took the time to show me an ES350 which we took for a drive. The available options and cost of the Lexus are great, the car drives great, and the sales/service dept. were great. When it came time to buy the car, both Brett and Jim stayed late to make the necessary arrangements. Although you may be able to find dealers that will sell for less, having a sales and service department who you know will support you after your purchase feels good. There is something to be said for the old adage,....you get what you pay for. Lexus of Ann Arbor has not only made me a fan of their cars but I will return to them for future purchasing needs. My wife and I stopped in last Monday night at 8pm and needed a vehicle that night for a business trip. Scott was enthusiastic and very personable despite the late hour. Jim who is the used car manager gave us an excellent price on an ES350 and backed it with covering several issues that were not seen immediately. Scott actually followed me home to collect a check for the purchase of the vehicle and I drove 1/2 way to New Jersey that very night. Scott took the time to show me several cool things with the on board navigational and guidance system which equipped me to make the journey with confidence. He also followed up with a courtesy call and when I brought the vehicle in today he actually helped me with a challenge I was having with my water heater at home. Apparently in a different life Scott was quite knowledgable in the heating and cooling arena. Ramey and the service team made me feel welcome and took great care of me while I waited for my car. Even your receptionist went out of their way to give me fresh coffee and warm chocolate chip cookies. Thanks for a great experience and I will definitely recommend Scott and Lexus of Ann Arbor to my friends and colleagues. Jim's integrity was very impressive. He supplied a second key for my vehicle and reimbursed me for new wipers I put on the car to replace one that was in disrepair. Lastly he fixed a broken headlamp that was on the driver side. I saw the vehicle online sent a request to know more about it. I instantly received an email then a call from George. He didn't mislead me and didn't blow me off even though I was in another state. Even though I had financing he told me to apply for Lexus financing and I ended up with a better rate. I flew into Detroit stay in a Hotel on my own budget but George did make the drive to pick me up himself. I thought that was awesome! I was in and out with my vehicle and drove a happy 14 hrs back to Kansas. Thank you to Lexus of Ann Arbor and George for the easy transaction. Service, both routine maintenance and special service needs, have been handled promptly and to my complete satisfaction. For the past three years I have depended on Ramey Miller as my service consultant. He is very professional in responding to service requests, explaining what work needs to be done and related costs and handling my overall service needs in a friendly and most efficient manner. I depend on his counsel and advice regarding the proper care and maintenance of my wife's Lexus. She just purchased a 2010 ES350 and again, I will depend on Ramey for our service requests for regular maintenance and, if needed, special service requirements. Duane responded to my phone call regarding check engine trouble light by setting up an Saturday inspection and ordering a repair part although the timing was such that the part supplier was not available untill after the weekend. I had some warranty problems with my RX. Got it inspected, a young guy told me nothing wrong with it. I insist to meet the service manager. I met the Dan Wilson, a very nice and extremely polite guy. He got one of the experienced old mechanics and looked at the problems, discovered them and said will call you back when the parts arrive. The warranty was going to expire soon so I thought they blew me off after a month of no contact. They called me back that the parts arrived. They got the car back, I got a nice loaner. Dan politely gave me the choice so it was not thrown at me like the previous time. Took a week to fix. I'm not complaining at all about the time since I'm a pragmatic, meticulous, and perfectionist engineer. I wanted a perfect job regardless the time it takes since I had the loaner car. The outcome was not excellent but OK. Some deep scratches around rear bumper clips where rear hatch closes, couple other deep scratches in the passenger door lining, dirty passenger seat due to fix, lost seat track covers. Dan got them from the old seat frame, they forgot to install them. I discovered the bumper clip was loose first time pick up which took them another day to get the part and install it. I had to redo the bumper bottom clips since they were not placed right. If Lexus crew don't know that who will. The mechanics are just reckless and don't pay attention to details at all, just fix and throw. You've to be very carefull and inspect the work before you leave, not everyone has this capability though. Overall experience, excellent and polite customer service from Dan and Derek, but backed up with an average to below average mechanics.

Also, I loved that Ramey represented the Lexus brand so professionally and personally. The car runs great, problem solved. Additionally, I left something of value in the loaner car & didnt realize until the next day. Great when spending $50k but once done no one wanted to talkto you. First tried license transfer person, then Sales agent, then sales Manager, then General Manager. No one would talk to me or return my call. All I wanted was my new license plate. Love the car but would not buy here. I like Remy in Service as well.
