They are big time liars they told me that my warranty would cover my parts so I took the car in and after getting it inspected they then told me that there's no warranty on the car the manager don was really rude to me

I went to buy a new car and ended up with a 2014 Forester XT and am extremely happy with what I got. He found the perfect vehicle for me and lowered my payments by almost $50 which was fantastic. Kyle Jones was extremely courteous and efficient in handling all my paperwork and getting everything squared away before I left the lot. He even helped me pair my phone to the car! I went in to find a brand new car but Kyle Jones showed me a better option and got me a fantastic are at lower payments. Kyle was very concerned about what I was looking for and found a match for me that fit everything and more of what I wanted (turbo charge and even a sun roof). He was professional and efficient. He ensured that I knew all the ins and outs of my new car and even helped me pair my phone before I left the lot. We purchased a 2016 Outback 3.6R on 1/15/16 from LHM Subaru. Jeremy Howard was the salesman and he is as low pressure and professional as they come. At first we communicated via email then my wife and I made an appointment for Friday at 6:15PM. After a test drive and asking questions we decided on the purchase. Through out the process everyone at LHM Subaru was very nice and helpful. All in all the entire process took about 1 1/2 hours. Before we went into the finance office I asked Jeremy to let the finance guy know we did not want to buy additional warranty, service plan or anything else that was an extra cost. The cool thing is the finance guy never even tried to sell us extra stuff. We just chatted and signed papers then it was finished.I highly recommend LHM Subaru for their professional approach and fair selling practices.

I had been looking at Crosstreks after almost buying one at this dealership a few years ago. Finally I gave Vinny a call to get things rolling. It took me a while to make a color decision and decide what to do with my current vehicle but once I did, it was the easiest process ever. Now a gorgeous dark grey Crosstrek is sitting in my garage. The only thing that wish was better is the quality of the Subaru paint. The very first trip on Winter roads resulted in a large chip on my hood and several smaller chips. Other than that...perfect.

Nathan Ivie was friendly, helpful and professional. He allowed us to wander around testing out the feel of the vehicles without crowding us. When we had questions he was right there with answers. He helped us to test drive multiple vehicles so that we could find the right one for us and when it came to the paperwork he made it as painless as possible. Dick Wilson explained all of the aspects of leasing and we feel quite comfortable that this was the best option for us. If a phenomenal effort on Vinny Picard and his team! I thought living out of state would make everything more difficult and more time consuming. Boy was I wrong! He sent me links in email to expedite the process, he help me order a vehicle to the specifications that I wanted, he helped with the financing and he was just all around a great person to work with! He had a bright disposition, when I was excited he was excited along with me, in fact, when I got there I was so excited and we start to give him a hug and he was more than happy to be that down to earth with us. When our 8 year old son became restless, he jumped in with some cool pictures on his phone so that we could go ahead and continue looking at the vehicle and finish with the paperwork. When it was time to go out and actually try the vehicle "on for size", he walked us to every aspect of the car and answered any questions very thoroughly. And now that I've had the car for a couple weeks, I can say I picked out the best automobile I have ever ridden in, driven in or been in. The Starling took a couple efforts to get through and get activated, but Vinny was persistent. In fact I received a phone call from Subaru themselves on Monday three days after we had bought it and they were doing a follow up. I have never felt so safe in a vehicle. This by far has been the best experience I have ever had and I will definitely, 100% without a doubt, be back to this dealership!

I have been doing business with this dealership and its service department since the late 1990's and I have always had top notch service. I needed some extensive maintenance and repairs done to my 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon this week. When I took my car in to have its regular service, the technician found some major issues that needed attention. These concerns were written up and an estimate was given. I made the appointment and arrived on time. It was a full day's job. They had everything completed by the end of the working day and the amount quoted on the estimate is what I did end up paying for the work done. I was very pleased with the service, work that was done, and the entire experience... I truly felt that the customer came first no matter what, and I appreciated that. So I say, "Many Kudos" to the this Subaru dealership, especially its Service Dept. Nice Job!!!

This was my third visit to the dealership since I have moved here. Not only was the third time the charm but also the first and second. I had forgotten about getting a new filter for the AC, however, I the attendant showed me the current one and I said "yes" please put in a new one.When I got the bill, I asked how much the new filter was. $29.95!! In Calif. I have always paid $100.00 for the same product. Do you wonder why I was so happy? Service and time spent were great. Keep up the good work.

I'm an new expat From Singapore & Lynn Sparhawk has been a great help in getting me a vehicle leased from Larry Miller Boise Subaru for 24mths. A friendly & professional salesman which i would recommend to ANYONE who wants to get a Subaru vehicle for his great service & attitude. One low light was the downpayment requested was a tad high which unfortunately was only made aware during the final approval process (was communicated a lower downpayment initially, but I believe its the approval process & nothing to do with Lynn). I fully understand expats have little or no established credit history but checking later with my expat colleagues for the same expat duration who leased from other dealers they do not seem to have any issue with minimal or no downpayment. A future improvement on this front would make the overall experience at Larry Miller Boise Subaru PERFECT.

Upon arrival, Vinny was funny, relaxed, handed over the keys for a test drive - no gimmicks, straight honesty about the car and what Larry H. Miller provides to customers. En route from WA to close to Mexico, my traveling companion and I had been looking far and wide for a used FJ ... Found one at Subaru Boise and gave them a call. As described, the vehicle was available and we set up an appointment. Once arrived, we were greeted by Vinny Picard. Vinny was friendly, funny.. And not aggressive, pushy or obnoxious. Took a quick test drive. An hour later, he graciously gave us his personal cell to let him know if we decided to buy being that it was his Friday. At 10pm, we decided to buy... Texted Vinny, and he confined that he would be in on his day off. Vinny made this entire process easy, hassle free, not stressful.. Dick Wilson sold us a 2014 crosstreck. After 15000 miles the tires were shot. We contacted him for help he sent us to Subaru USA who said nothing was wrong with the car it was our driving style we went back and forth between Larry Miller and Subaru USA for 2-3 weeks and finally Subaru USA said it might have been a bad set of tires and they would split cost on a new set of our choosing. We installed a set of 100000 mile rated tires and after 5000 miles they were 25% gone. Again we started trying to get this resolved.Finally after 5 months going back and forth and them not even being willing to look at the car I told Dick Wilson I was going to dump the crosstreck and get something else he said he would help us with that and he would get back with us in a couple days. After a week with no help we traded it of for a new dodge and took a 15000 dollar loss. We couldn't lemon law the car because they never tried to fix it they insisted nothing was ever wrong with it. We had a tire shop check alignment and it was out in a parameter that was not adjustable but not very far. When my wife got in the car the rear toe went out of spec and when I got in the amount doubled and if you put 150 pounds in the rear it got even worse so its a design issue and they all know about it is why they wouldn't even look at the car. I have owned several Subarus but never again and I recommend no one do business with larry miller. (also after 2 requests for the paper work to cancel extended warranties we still have not received them so my wife contacted the warantee company directly who faxed her the papers but said LH Miller would have to sign off for us to cancel we'll see how that goes)

We found our car on your internet listing. We called immediately and spoke with Vinny, he answered all our q;questions and we made a deal on the phone. We are in CA and advised him it would take a few days before we could make it back to pick it up and he was VERY accommodating. We gave a deposit on the phone, he worked out all the paper work. 5 days later we were on our way to Boise. The weather was horrible and we were running late, Vinny called us to see if we were ok or if we needed help. I went to Larry H. Miller Subaru in Boise on Tuesday, Nov 4 2014. The salesman Ed was nice. Before I went to the dealership, I looked online and saw a 98 Mercedes Benz for a little over $5900.00. I went there to check it out. I pointed it out to Ed, the salesman, and he didn't even know it was marked down from around $9900.00+, but I told him it was marked down, he checked online and confirmed that I was right. So we went for a test drive, it ran smooth, and I really liked the car. The car was very clean and there weren't any scratches on the outside of the car. We went back to the dealership and started to work on the financing part of it. I was excited to buy the car at around $5900.00, pay $3500.00, which will leave a balance of $2400.00 plus interest. Sounds too good? I was very happy with the deal. All throughout negotiating the price, the salesman kept validating the price around $5900.00. I went to sign the papers with the finance guy. He said sign here, nonchalantly went over the papers, I signed away without looking at the numbers. I drove from the dealership straight to my house in Nampa, about 20 minutes away from Boise. I looked around the car and what did I see? Scratches around the outside of the car. That put up a RED flag. I took the papers inside to look them over. What I saw was shocking and very disturbing. The price was listed a little bit above $8800.00 + My heart sank. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Throughout the whole time I was there at the delearship buying the car, there wasn't any verbal mentioning of the $8800.00 at all. Two days passed by, and I continued to feel bad about the whole situation. I thought I had 3 days to bring the car back, and I'd be able to get my money back. I was told I couldn't, that the 3 day rule doesn't apply. So I wanted to work with them to explain to me how the price went from $5900.00+ to $8800.00+. Ed the salesman went in the back office and brought out the guy that apparently makes the decision around the place. He was very defensive, told me to bring my lawyer and he guaranteed I would lose. He said they did not do anything WRONG. Really? I know that ultimately it's up to me to make sure to look before I sign anything. I trusted them! After all, their slogan is Larry H Miller Subaru, the one you trust. When it comes to buying used cars, that is a top concern for a lot of people, especially to a single mother like myself. I understand every business needs to make a profit, but the experience I went through at Larry H Miller Subaru was absolutely dishonest, immoral, unethical, and very disappointing. Buyer BEWARE.

Everyone at the dealership is friendly, courteous, and took care of me with the utmost respect. This is not the first time I have purchased a car from Larry Miller Subaru and it won't be the last. Here are a few reasons I go back to Larry Miller Subaru. A few months ago I took my 2013 Impreza Limited in to service and the Service Manager, Don, came out to greet me. We started talking about the redesign of the 2015 Legacy and he took the time to bring me to the showroom and explained what changes were made and how the redesign made the Legacy even better. Most dealerships you can't find the service manager let alone have them greet you when you come it. When I decided to purchace a new Legacy and started the process the Sales Manager, Paul came over and spent time talking with me. Then, when my car came in (Larry Miller did not have a car on the lot and ordered one special for me with the add-ons I requested), Don came in from the service area and spent a good amount of time talking with me. I can't tell you how much it means to a customer when the staff from a dealership go out of their way to treat you like a friend. My First Oil Change experience was positive. The employee listened to me well. He got the noise problem corrected by having the serp belt replaced under my new-car warranty. The servicing was quick. I like being able to go elsewhere with a car wash coupon to have my car washed when it is convenient to me, rather than at the time of the servicing, which could be when the weather is adverse, with rain or snow coming down.

I shopped a number of Subaru dealers (six total) using online resources - TrueCar.com, Edmunds.com and directly with Larry H. Miller Subaru. In most cases, the dealers I contacted provided competitive pricing, but some were unwilling to quote directly. Cody Scott at Larry H. Miller was direct, no-nonsense, and provided a competitive quote by email, with clear identification of the model, the factory options, the dealer options, the sticker, the discount from sticker and basic terms and conditions. We went to the dealership on a Saturday afternoon. Cody met with us briefly, gave us the keys to the model we were looking for, and let us do a test drive. Once we were done and we decided on the car, we met with Cody, he valued our trade-in, prepared all the paperwork, showed us our financing options, and finalized all the key aspects of the deal.We met with Aaron in finance. Well for starters last time I tried to buy a car, admittedly several years ago at different dealers, the sales men wouldn't even talk to me unless I brought my husband in. Neil immediately treated me as if I was perfectly capable of buying a car all by myself.He spent an afternoon with me trying to find the perfect car, answering all my questions with patience and better yet enthusiasm. There was no doubt at any point that he truly loves Subarus and was sure that he could find one that I loved too. He treated my attempts at negotiation with respect.Then the next morning when I arrived with a whole new plan in mind, he didn't even blink an eye, and spent most of the day, letting me drive three more cars all over the place and sit in several more. And then when he'd finally gotten my money and could have kicked me to the curb, he insisted on showing me how everything worked, before I drove away.I had such a good time that my only regret is if Subarus are as good as Neil says and all my siblings say, I won't get to go car shopping again for a long long time.

After having several nightmare experiences with obtaining vehicles from private parties and small dealerships, I was thrilled to have such a wonderful experience with Larry H. Miller Subaru. I was able to get in touch with Scott before ever coming by the lot which was wonderful as he asked what the must haves for my ideal vehicle were as far as make, model, color, all the bells and whistles... etc. When I showed up he already had several in mind for me to look at, one that I requested and several others that were right in my price range and in great condition. I was blown away by how easy going his demeanor was, he never once pushed or made me feel like I was being pressured to buy something right then and there. When I made my decision, he promptly had the car pulled off to the side so that I could come in and finalize the purchase the next day. Overall, an excellent experience for which I totally plan on going back if/when I ever want a new vehicle again.

My daughter was driving one of my (older) cars in another state. After debating whether it was time to keep repairing it, or replace, I decided to replace it. I found a pre-owned Camry on your website that was the type of car and in the price range that I was looking for. I called and got in touch with Scott Patton. He listened to what I needed; he and Eric Smith were willing to work with my budget and time schedule and the fact that my trade-in was in another state at the time. By that afternoon I was on the road to my daughter to switch cars. The car drove great. By the time I arrived at my daughter's house, 300+ miles later, I almost didn't want to give it up. The great service I'd received during the sale transaction didn't stop there. When driving that first night I discovered one of the headlamp assembly was broken. I called Eric Smith the next day and he arranged for it to be replaced at the nearest Larry Miller dealership to where I was that day, at no charge to me. Great help and excellent service! That in itself will mean that I will come back the next time I am in the market for a car. My wife is already looking at the Forester models. We wanted an AWD vehicle since we moved to a mountainous state with snow. Our friend owned the Subaru Outback and we had the pleasure of driving around with her in California wine country. Dick Wilson our salesperson had a wealth of knowledge and was not the least high pressure. We started by looking at the Outback and in the end purchased a Legacy Sedan. We negotiated a deal in less than 2 hours and were delighted to have a sedan that had AWD and all the safety features we wanted. Our salesperson (Vinny) was pitch perfect. He was sincerely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. He was happy to answer all of our questions, and to offer information on things I hadn't thought to ask about. On the test drive he let me put the car through its paces both on the road and in a parking lot. Handling is much more important to me than speed, and I really wanted to try it out, in terms of speed bumps and turning radius. There was no hard-sell, and absolutely no pressure. The process of selecting and purchasing our first new car in the past 17 years from Larry Miller Subaru in Boise was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Although that previous car was a Subaru Outback (174K and still going strong) which we have always enjoyed and felt safe driving in all kinds of terrain and weather, we made an effort to exercise due diligence and looked at several other makes and models before coming in for a close look at what the 2014 Outback (Premium) had to offer. The two salespeople we worked with, Cody Scott and Scott Patton, couldn't have been more friendly, helpful or professional - at no time did we feel like we were being pressured or played. They listened to what we were looking for, answered all of our questions honestly, and guided us to an Outback among their extensive inventory that exceeded our expectations of what we thought we'd be able to get at the price point we were shooting for. The fact that nothing we looked at elsewhere in this price range beat the styling, comfort, performance or safety features of the new Outback coupled with our past experience with Subaru's proven reliability and re-sale value (our old Outback was spoken for before we drove our new one off the lot!) made the decision an obvious and easy one for us and we couldn't be happier with our choice.

My wife and I started to look for an AWD car since we just moved here to Boise. My son, who currently leases a Suburu, suggested that we go Larry H. Miller Suburu and ask for Scott Patton.We met with Scott on dreary afternoon, he sat us down and asked all the questions that Car Salesmen ask. Guess what, he LISTENED to us. Then we went for a test drive in an Outback and based on our discussions on the test drive he felt that the Forester more met our needs. We drove a Forester. He was absolutely correct. He checked the inventory and what we wanted was not available at this time. He then checked further and found that a 2015 Forester was being delivered to Larry H. Miller Suburu, in the color that my wife loved, in a couple of weeks. We reserved the Forester, so we had the first rights to it.Scott called us and the Forester was delivered right when Scott said it would arrive. We went down to the dealership and negotiated with Scott on the Forester. Scott was able to get us a price that was better than what I got on TrueCar.com. He also got a better price for our trade-in than we had discussed during our first meeting, and then we got a better interest rate on our financing. All of this was because Scott LISTENED to us. We then went to go through all the "bells and whistles" with Scott. He made everything so easy. Then to top it off, my wife mentioned a few small things that she had told Scott that were not included in the Forester. Scott took us and opened the trunk and there they were. He had remembered what he had said to my wife. Scott Patto is an asset to Larry H. Miller Suburu. My wife and I would definitely recommend him. It was because of him, his personal attention to detail, his listening to us and making the small things happen is the reason we are now in a Suburu and not another brand name vehicle.We look forward to a long lasting relationship with Larry H. Miller Suburu.

I recently embarked on what I feared would be a long, agonizing search for a new vehicle...NOT THE CASE WITH SCOTT PATTON AND LARRY MILLER SUBARU! I spent a few days corresponding with Scott over the internet. He directed me to several sites with excellent information regarding what I needed to know and compare. He listened to my questions and always had an answer or explanation, which made me so much more comfortable with my decision. I was extremely pleased with his knowledge of not only the vehicles I was interested in but also the mission of Larry Miller Dealerships. I have no concerns about Scott or LM Subaru being there for my future needs. Four years ago when I purchased new car it took 6 hours to finalize, this time it took just over 1 hour and then I was out getting a grand tour of my new Foresters bells and whistles. Since it was late at night, upon departure Scott ask that I text him of my safe arrival home to Twin Falls...what a nice thing for him to do. I was an owner of an Outback but wanted an AWD car that was somewhat smaller that had the same basic features. I had seen pictures and read info.about the Crosstek. After a conversation with Paul I was put in contact with Harmon. The price was agreed upon and the trade in was confirmed. The car was then ordered with the specs that I wanted and was delivered; as requested. I live some distance from the dealearship; so I was provided with a hotel room. The car operations were explained to me by Harmon. A full tank of gas was provided and I was on my way. An overall enjoyable experience.

My husband and I stopped by Larry Miller just to take a peek at a Mini Cooper that was on the lot with No intention of getting a new vehicle. After looking at the vehicle, I asked if we could look at the Subaru Crosstrek. We looked at a new Hybrid and knew that a hybrid wasn't really what were into. I was able to test drive a 2013 premium automatic. I fell in love with it and my husband new we were coming home with it when we returned from the dealership. Yeah- We bought it. I had to have it. Dick Wilson greeted us from the get go and was there to send us on our merry way with our new Subie. He was very friendly and personable. He knew so much about Subarus, inside and out. He didn't quiz us on what we had already known (which wasn't much) and was very confident in the knowledge that he was giving us. Paul Krake was very warm and welcoming. We actually felt comfortable each time we walked in and out of the dealership. You would think that everyone that worked there was one big happy family. Aaron was straight to the point when going over the paperwork and explained everything clearly. He's obviously good at what he does. Overall- we were very pleased that we visited Larry miller. They worked with us the best that they could and we were able to take home a very nice (almost new) Crosstrek that suits our needs much more than the dodge Dakota that I traded in! They were friendly, attentive, not pushy, helpful afterwards too. When I first came in I was able to schedule an appointment and when we came to actually buy the vehicle I was able to schedule then too. Harmon was also very helpful explaining the instrumentation on Saturday when I came back to get some of the package stuff I bought installed. He also helped me by phone when I had issues with the lights at night. The day we bought it I had to get back to work so didn't have time for all the explanations about what all the buttons, etc. do.

We live 6 hours away and everything was ready for us when we arrived to look at the vehicle for the first time and when purchasing the vehicle the same day. I had an excellent experience with their Sales Consultant Vinny Picard. On our first meeting, he took note of all the details that I was looking for in a car. After that day, he was consistent in making follow-up calls and sending me a list of available cars that might interest me. Overall, this dealership went above and beyond what I was expecting. I came back after 3 weeks to see my options for leasing a car and left the dealership with a possibility of buying a new car thru their endless and persistent effort to find solutions to my somewhat "complicated" situation having no credit history and just being in the US for barely a month. They made a lot of calls and kep me updated on what was going on. When they finally fgured out how to do it, they didn't ask me to wait any longer and assured to call me on the next business day. As promised, they called and asked me to come over to do the paper work. They were able to work it out and I happily went home with a brand new car.

While "just looking" at Larry Miller Subaru we met Cory Hatch, who educated us thoroughly about the Forester and other Subaru models and encouraged us to drive as many as we wanted. A day or so later we came back in to look at a newly acquired car.Cory was patient, friendly, available, and calm as we decided! No pressure. I had visited the Subaru site and 'built' an Outback and was from that, three different dealerships contacted me. Jeremy Howard was the first to respond. He was free with information and although he did not have the exact thing on hand, he did have one on sale with more options on it. I would love to have had the car with those options but knew that we (being retired) needed to stay on a budget.I explained this to Jeremy and he said the he would get right back to me...AND unlike the other dealerships, this man did. He made me an offer on my trade-in and worked with finances to see to it that I got the monthly payment amount that I had suggested to him. I had been contacted by another dealership but they were not giving me any information. They strung me along with promises for three days until they admitted that they did not have the car on their lot but would get it in 'a few days'. They made promises of low prices but the way they were dealing with me made me suspicious of them. They never gave me a price for the car, a trade-in amount, a finance percentage or any other information other than it was red with a black cloth interior. I had all of this information immediately from Jeremy at Larry Miller's Subaru in Boise! Jeremy had told me right away what the options were on your car, what the price was, what I could expect on a trade-in, financing percentages, etc. Sharp young man!Seeing how differently Subaru dealerships could be with perspective customer's I decided that I wanted to deal with some one so open and so helpful. We were able to trust Jeremy immediately and to feel confident with our purchase and your dealership. We will RAVE about your dealership because of the great experience with your people!Mark was able to get us the extended warranty at a price that even I had to agree to.We drove home smiling all the way in this beautiful and affordable Subaru. We were so concerned about getting a car with great gas mileage and friends who have owned Subaru's for years had been raving about theirs. We stopped at the gas station in Gooding where we lived and filled up that brand new Subaru and realized that we got 35 1/2 miles per gallon on the trip home from Boise. Great Scot! My 2008 Mazda B2300 pickup had a cab A/C temperature control problem; it would only allow heat, no cooling. It was cold outside, so this was not a big deal, but would become an issue as the weather warmed up. The service group troubleshot the problem to a failed electric actuator that would no longer adjust hot and cold airflow. Service ordered a new part and installed it after it arrived. It worked perfectly! I also noticed a noisy engine drive belt when I took the pickup in for the temperature control service. The service team found the noisy belt and replaced it. I didn't purchase my pickup at Larry Miller's dealership, but the service team treats me as if I did. Mazda is not this dealership's major brand, but they have the technical knowledge and expertise to do an excellent job of maintaining and servicing my Mazda. It runs better now than it ever has! I trust their workmanship, and know that they stand behind the quality of their service.

We went into the dealership after researching several different makes of cars on our wish list. We determined that only an extra special car could make us give up our former family car. I have visited only one dealer which was Larry H. Miller. I found that the sales representative, Neil Bryant, was friendly, very knowledgeable regarding Subaru vehicles , and we had a connection of several mutual friends. The process moved along with Neil trying to work a dealer trade, with Oregon dealers, for an upgraded WRX Wagon. That did not come to fruition, so we fell back to a WRX that was due to come on a January 2nd delivery to Larry Miller. The weather played a part by being so severe that delivery did not happen until a week later. However, I thought that Neil kept me informed regarding when the vehicle might show up. My one area of concern was financing; initially I was told that Larry Miller could finance me at a 2.25% rate. At the time of purchase I was given a 2.90%. I was told that my credit rating was poor and that was the reason for the higher rate. I did call Idaho Central Credit Union and spoke to one of the workers. She said that my credit was a "B rating" and I would qualify for the 2.29% rate. I intend to speak with people at my credit union to see if they will be willing to finance the vehicle, or have Larry Miller work with Idaho Central to lower the rate to 2.29%. When I did pick-up the car, Neil introduced me to several Larry Miller employees who would service the car. Also, a couple of "gifts" were given to me. Neil sat in the car and went through a tutorial on several of the technology features. I was quite pleased with the overall experience of buying a vehicle through Larry H. Miller. I will certainly continue to negotiate with either Idaho Central, or my Credit Union, to find a rate that I should qualify for. My understanding is that Larry H. Miller finance people will need to contact Idaho Central for this to happen. So, the car is great, the sales person, Neil, was also excellent. The one sour spot was finance. This was probably of my own doing due to my need to get the deal done and drive away in my new car.

Hard to go wrong with a car rated so highly by Consumers Report, JD Powers and our personal experience with Subarus in general. I just celebrated my one year anniversary with my 2004 Subaru Outback and wanted to share what a fabulous experience I had with the guys at Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise. At the time of my purchase I was in dire need of a new vehicle and started my search at a nearby dealership. It was a terrible experience and I was being presented with cars with a price tag of $4000 over the blue book value! From there I went next door to Larry H. Miller Subaru where I met Neil Bryant, and the rest they say, is history. But let me give you a few details...I explained to Neil what I was in the market for and the investment I was able to make and he presented me with cars that fit my bill to the T and also with some cars that I might be interested in due to my search criteria. Living in a tech savvy world it is easy to acquire numbers and information, so I checked. Everything he presented me with was within just a few hundred dollars of the blue book value. I was impressed. They were totally transparent with their pricing.After finding The One, next came the tedious wait for my credit approval. Unbeknownst to me was how long that would take and I did not prepare for it, so I became hungry. Here's where it gets really good: they fed me pizza! Now I can't always guarantee they'll have pizza in their break room, but they have an uber comfortable lounge area with a plush leather sofa and armchairs, a crackling fire in the fireplace (it was after all the dead of winter when I was making this purchase) and football on the big screen TV... ahh yeahAfter my approval was made, they explained the length of my loan, the payments, and all other fees included, again being totally transparent with the pricing. There were no surprises. And I drove away in my brand new (to me) Subaru Outback (aka "Jenny") and we've been like peas n carrots ever since. Neil had fantastic follow up skills and would check in via email with me, which I really appreciated because I knew then I was not just a person being sold to and once the deal was done I was irrelevant. For all repairs and maintenance issues I have been back to the service department and they have been equally as great!To summarize: Larry H. Miller Subaru has an outstanding selection of cars, phenomenal and totally transparent pricing, and a great group of guys and friendly staff whom let's face it, you can just sit back and watch some football with. I just can't promise the pizza ;)

I decided, after 10 years, to purchase a new Subaru from Larry Miller Subaru, as they have serviced my '93 Legacy well and been very easy to work with over those years. From first meeting Neil Bryant to having wonderful Aaron Balbas complete my sale and continue to be there for any little thing, like setting up my Bluetooth, I have experienced great customer care & friendliness.I never expected my new Forester's finish to be pitted with bug deposits from a neighbor's tree. I took it in to be buffed out, but damage was still present. I shared my concern with Don Coatsworth and he and Subaru went above and beyond to repaint hood and roof, provide me a loaner for days over a holiday & did so with positive, helpful attitudes. A little humor was mixed in as well, to enhance this experience.Since 1993, Larry Miller has serviced my Legacy and now my Forester. Several service people have helped me over these years and been good but Chris Hayes has been the best. He has a great way about him answering ridiculous things & tough news tactfully. My experiences here have been great so far. Thank you all!!

I purchased a new Impreza about 4 years ago and fell in love with the Subaru brand. In that time, I became interested in upgrading to a WRX and have been looking for that last few years. I never planned on going through a dealership again, but was having a tricky time in finding a used WRX that I felt comfortable in purchasing. I noticed that Larry Miller had a used WRX on the lot and decided to go check it out.Harmon Newhouse was the sales associate that my husband and I worked with. He was friendly and positive throughout the entire deal. He was knowledgeable about the WRX through the personal experience of owning one himself and was able to give us some pretty good data about the car. The test drive was relaxed and fun.As with purchasing a car from any dealership, everyone always wants to get a "good deal." My husband and I felt that our car deal was fair and that we didn't get "taken to the cleaners" on our trade in. Harmon took some time to introduce me to the sales department people and sprung for a soda while I waited for the paperwork to be completed. Very nice. I feel comfortable in recommending this dealership and Harmon Newhouse if you are in the market for a new car. Aaron was wonderful to work with. I had a 2004 Toyota highlander to trade in and a very specific cash budget. I explained what features I was looking for in a newer used car. I also told him that if we could not work within these parameters that I would not waste his time. He said he could make it work. He explained how the Larry H Miller dealership works with the Subaru dealerships across the country in determining the value of my trade-in. He showed me two cars that met my requirements and pointed out additional features on both that I had not thought of. He did not try to talk me into anything outside of my budget. Within minutes he had a firm trade-in value that was more than I expected. When we returned from the test drive he provided me with an out-the-door quote that was under my budget. Wow!!! I could even afford the extended bumper-to-bumper warranty. The dealership also provides free oil changes and tire rotation for the first year as well as free car washes as long as I own the vehicle. Before I left the dealership with my new purchase I was introduced to the service manager and an appointment was scheduled for my first oil change. Aaron listened to me and didn't try to make me "stretch" my budget like the Toyota dealership tried to do. When my wife and I visited your Subaru dealership in Boise, looking for a car, our salesperson was Scott Patton. Scott first worked with my wife and they test drove a few cars. Both of us then visited with Scott and test drove another Subaru. Scott was very knowledgeable and patient with us as we considered different vehicles. We finally decided on an Outback that was on the showroom floor. Since that purchase took place nearly a year ago, Scott, along with other staff at Larry Miller Subaru have been great to deal with. Your service department is really nice to work with. On a recent visit for an oil change, I had a bug shield installed as well. The shield did not appear to fit properly after I looked at it in the sun. Your service department told me to return the car at my convenience, which I later did, and a new bug shield was installed that looks great!Scott has also been very responsive to any questions that I have had on my new Outback. He assisted me with configuring our cell phones to the cars wireless system. He also provided instructions on how to program my garage door opener into the cars garage door system. When Scott is at the dealership when I stop by for a car wash coupon, he is always friendly and at the least, waves to me, even while in the middle of working with customers. I have not had this experience with other car dealerships and its employees in the past as I have with Scott Patton and Larry Miller Subaru. I wanted to buy my husband an impreza for our 15th wedding anniversary. I needed to stay at 300 a month and they were able to make that happen and get the car back to my house for the surprise. My wife and I had a great time at Larry H. Miller Subaru. We were an odd story in that we hadn't purchased a new car in over 20 years. We also really didn't look at cars much in that span of time. We wanted to make an informed decision, and that took a while. We wouldn't recommend you take this long but it took over a year to pin down what we really wanted. Scott was unbelievably patient, helpful, and informative ... and at no point made us feel stupid for taking so long. In the end, we're glad we did, because Subaru redesigned the Forester for the 2014 model year and after one ride in the "XT" ... yeah ... a turbo ... it didn't take long to pull the trigger. The price was very reasonable ... especially for a high-demand lower-supply model. The purchase was transacted very smoothly. The introduction to the service department was nice. We really can't think of a reason to shop anywhere else. Thanks Scott and Jeremy ... you guys are great ... and we'll be back.I'd really encourage you to try one of the 2014 Foresters ... the XT is a remarkable car!

Brought car in for Brake check. Turned out, brakes were still OK. Had a leaking shock boot, which they repaired. Also had a Transmission service. All good service. We called ahead with the vehicle we were interested in buying and wanted to see, they had the vehicle gassed up, and waiting for us. IT was exactly the vehicle we had asked for! From start to finish we got exactly what we asked for, price wise too! ($2000) below invoice. Folks were friendly, we were in and out in an hour. Our first five cars were subarus, but then the economy priced them out of our budget. So we drove Hyundais for the past 10 years. But the folks at subaru were able to meet our needs and the end result we are back in a subaru again!

He is a very pleasant, honest, and friendly person that I enjoyed working with when searching for a new car. He spent time making sure he understood what I wanted in a new vehicle, and took time to help me whenever I had questions. He kept track of the vehicle I wanted and called as soon as it arrived. I have really enjoyed my Subaru Forester. It has much more "get up & go" than my old vehicle. In fact, I had to add a bright pink tape to indicate the 30 mph spot because I found myself exceeding the speed limit while driving in town and I can't count the times I have "washed my windshield" while learning the diffrence between my old and new vehicle! This was our 5th Subaru, so we already knew the quality of the Larry H. Miller organization from having service done on my 2009 Legacy.My wife and I had already done our homework and picked the 2014 Forester as her next vehicle. We didn't need to spend a lot of time, just needed to see what accessory levels and colors were available, get a fair price for her 10-year-old Mazda, and be on our way. Harmon was extremely on the ball, he knew the features of each of the accessory levels at the tip of his tongue, so we narrowed that down and then took a look through the lot.My wife was able to pick the color she wanted in the accessory level we wanted in 10 minutes. Meanwhile our trade-in was being appraised, so by the time we walked back in from the lot, we had a tentative deal. With only a little back and forth, we settled on a fair deal all around. Then Harmon took us through the controls and dashboard features (this is not trivial anymore) and we drove off. A very clean deal !! We have been extremely happy with the new Forester and can't wait for enough snow to really use that All Wheel Drive.

When looking for a 2014 Forester to purchase I had inquiries in with several regional dealerships. At the time none of them had the exact model I was looking for. I ultimately settled on Larry Miller because Harmon was on the ball letting me know the minute the model I wanted came into the lot. He provided me with all the information I needed to make my decision. He was very polite and easy to communicate with. I felt no high pressure from him, just good honest salesmanship. I feel like we came to a good agreement on price. I would have liked, of course, to get it down a little lower but considering the popularity of the car I think I probably got a pretty good deal. He was great at explaining all the new features of the 2014 Forester and helped me set up my phone on Bluetooth. He was more than willing to spend as much time as I needed to figure things out. And now I know I can call him anytime if I have a question. He frequently follows up with me to make sure I'm still loving my Forester. The other personnel I dealt with we're equally courteous and helpful.

My Wife and I traded in out 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee for a 2012 Honda Odyssey. My wife found the Honda online and we met at the dealership on our lunch break. Scott Patton was our sales rep and he was very polite and professional. He drove us to the lot the Honda was parked in and showed us several other options as well. The wife and I loved it. There were some items missing from the car like an owners manual and the wireless headphones. Scott, without us having to ask, told us he would order them at no cost to us. We decided this was the car for us and we started the paperwork. I was worried I might get a low ball offer on our trade in so I did some research and had a number in mind. Scott looked at our Jeep an offered exactly what it was worth according to NADA. I WAS THRILLED!!! While we were signing all the paperwork Scott took the car and filled it with gas. I have purchased several cars and never once have I left the dealership full of gas. We have now owned the Honda for several months and we LOVE it. By far the best car buying experience we have ever had. For the first week our kids would kiss the car before they went to bed... I know.. They are weird...Scott Patton and staff thank you.

I was searching the internet for the model and features I wanted. LHM had both. In fact they have a large selection in every price range. Sent an email requesting the 'internet' price and was promptly contacted by Cody Scott. I offered a price which was considerably below MSRP and it was accepted immediately. I'm sure a win-win for both of us. This is Subaru #6 for me, since they have the best handling characteristics for Montana winters. You can't go anywhere in MT without seeing numerous Subaru's everywhere. Change the oil regularly and expect 200k + miles. Cody sent me an Accessory listing/menu to pick and choose from. I made my selections and said I would like to fly in and pick up my car 4 business days later, No problem. Cody picked me up at the airport in my car and gave me full attention over the next couple of hours and then I was on my way back home. It was like pushing the Staples 'That was easy' button. I'm not sure how it could have been much more efficient. He has remained in contact to make sure my trip home was uneventful and that I could work all the gadgets properly. Now if their titles department can get the title up here in a reasonable period of time it will be the icing on the cake.

When we signed the loan papers, everything was clearly explained to us. We were given a tour of the facility and the servicing schedule was explained. Everyone was very friendly. My wife and I basically woke up one morning and decided it was time for a new vehicle. We knew we were fans of the Subaru brand as we had a legacy that has stood both the test of time and abuse! We came specifically looking for a certified used Subaru and Larry Miller in Boise was where we ended up. Zach was the first to approach us. His demeanor was very casual and he was not overly aggressive, just friendly and willing to help. I told him a rough idea of what we were looking for and he shared a good selection of inventory with us. We found something close to our price range that we test drove and loved. We did leave to look around as that was the first car we had looked at, which Zach was very cool about. Had he vomited a bunch of facts and figures on me to get us to stay and pressure the sale I probably wouldn't have returned. There were a few other options out there but Larry Miller pricing was hard to beat. I contacted Zach and told him we wanted to pursue the Outback but the price was a little out of our range. He went to bat for us getting both the price reduced and a better interest rate than our bank had pre approved! Crazy low saving us even more. Helpful and problem solving is a good way to describe the sales staff. The Finance manager clearly knew his stuff and we breezed through the paperwork. We now have a sweet certified used Subaru that was actually pretty easy to get into. Kudos to Zach and the rest of the staff for helping us through the purchase. I would definitely go back next time when we look to upgrade.

When we first entered the dealership we were met and immediately helped and shown different cars. The sales person was very knowledgable and easy to talk to. He never tried to sell us something that was out of our price range or that we werent interested in. He asked what we wanted as far as a car for both of us and we started looking at the outbacks but werent loving them. So he switched us to a crosstreck and we love it. We ended up making the purchase that day. We were very happy and very satisfied with this dealership. Never once did we feel "pressured" to buy something.

When I called I was looking for a 2001 Outback and I talked to Aaron Balbas. He told me it was just sold. I let him know what I was looking for, year range and price. He said they would look and see what they had and let me know. A couple of days later he let me know of a Forester they were taking as a trade-in. My Son and I drove it and It fit perfectly. I first started shopping for cars online. I was looking for mid-sized SUV, with great gas mileage, and was an AWD. I had a 2005 Ford Escape (my very first car I got when I turned 16) so I began looking at the new Ford Escapes. They were a little spendy, and I am 20 years old and going to college, so I needed a cheaper car. The 3 cars I did a lot of research on was the 2014 Ford Escape, 2013 Subaru XV, and the 2014 Mazda CX-5. The only affordable car that was AWD, high MPG, and has enough space was the Subaru. I have also hear great things about Subarus, how they handle snow and off roading. So, I then requested more information on the computer and not even 24 hours later, Jeremy Howard contacted me. My parents flew into town to help me with financing and what not. When we got to the dealership we began talking trade-in value for my car. We were first offered $4300, which is almost $1000 under KBB. We ended up getting about $6000 out of my used car and started signing the papers. The car wasn't at the dealership so they had to order it. Jeremy updated me almost daily on the tracking of my car. It was supposed to be here July 16, 2013, but he called me this morning and I went and picked up my new Subaru. Jeremy thoroughly went over every thing I needed to know about my new car and made sure it was in pristine condition to let me drive off in. I could not be any happier with my new car and the customer service I received at Larry Miller Subaru. I already know that this will not be the last Subaru I buy from them. I highly recommend Jeremy, but I am sure all the salesmen are great! Thanks again Jeremy and Larry Miller Subaru, I love my new car!!

This was my first new car purchase, a lease, on a Crosstrek 2 days ago. Aaron was great to work with...there was no high-pressure 'selling.' When I've visited other dealerships in the past, I've pulled into the lot and felt like fresh meat to the hungry salespeople...one time a waiting salesperson (at a different dealership) met me at my car before I turned the engine off and tried to open my door for me. Not here. It seemed that everyone was on the same team, and not in competition with each other. It was very comfortable. My only knock was on the pricing that the finance department came up with. I had to refuse the first offer on the lease because it wasn't that 'good' based on my research. So I asked to sharpen the pencil and the numbers were better, but I would have preferred they just gave their best price up front, no haggle. If they had, I would be raving about the experience. I realize this is how it's done in the business, but I know there are some dealerships that do the 'no-haggle' thing. My advice is to do enough research to (realistically) know what the numbers should look like. I also agree with another reviewer that recommended going through your own credit union beforehand and skip dealing with the finance department. In my case, I had to lease because I couldn't afford the payments on an outright purchase. If you do that and stick to it, I highly recommend coming into the dealership and asking for Aaron Balbas. He'll take care of you like a friend.

My wife, Mary, and I were in the market for a new car and went through the online Costco auto program intending to check out a Subaru Outback or Forester and also a Ford Escape. Less than 5 minutes from when I hit enter to get the name of the Subaru dealership, salesperson Aaron Balbas called me, explained that he was handling Costco customers and asked how he could be of service. (This was late on a Saturday afternoon and I told him what we wanted to test drive and he explained that the dealership was closed on Sunday, but that he would be available any day the following week except Tuesday.) We had a doctor's appointment Monday morning and after that called his cell phone about 9:45 to see if he was available then. He said he couldn't be at the dealership until 11AM, but we could go on over and Cody Scott would take care of us until he arrived. That's what we did and Cody was very nice and was lining up an Outback for us to drive when Aaron arrived and took over. We took a long drive up the freeway and back and loved the car. Aaron was very professional and thoroughly went over all the Costco and dealer paper work with us, without pressure of any kind, and we decided to skip looking at the Ford Escape and proceed with buying the Outback. We had to leave for an appointment and came back late in the afternoon to turn in our old car and complete the transaction. Aaron had the Outback all detailed and shepherded us through all the paperwork, went over all the controls and main features of the car and we drove away happy! We both agreed that this was the best car buying experience we have ever had and highly recommend Aaron, Cody and the Larry Miller dealership. Dave & Mary Greer

A small thing, in the overall scope, but when you're selling "granola" cars like Subaru's, the smell of smokes will be off-putting to many of your potential customers.But, he's about to become a dad, and that new role has brought changes to the lives of all who have played it. Modeling non-addiction is good for a dad; modeling doing really hard things for yourself and your family...now that's wonderful.Yep, I'd send someone to Larry Miller, and I'd suggest they ask for Aaron....

Originally I had intended on bringing my son along when I went to test drive the 2013 Subaru Outback, so he could help me understand the significance of different technologic options of vehicles I wanted to test drive. He was unable to come that day, so I was a little stressed. Jeremy set aside time for me to come in and was very patient with me while I asked multiple questions. He showed me a video on a utube site that showed the performance comparison of other vehicles I was considering as compared to the Subaru. We worked with sales representative Jeremy Howard who was very friendly (but not excessively), patient and professional.We traded in a 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 truck for a 2013 Subaru Outback. While we believe the trade-in price given for the truck was undervalued, LHM did its best to add other beneficial offsets to compensate. To secure the financing details, we worked with Marc Derosier. He was professional, quick and friendly as well. Overall, we had a good experience and recommend this dealershi to anyone seeking a Subaru brand car.

The BEST service ever! I've had my Legacy since July 2012 and have been so happy. But I've been just as happy with the customer service from Cody Scott, I've recommended him to a friend who then came in and picked out a Forester! There were minor problems with the vehicle, as all used cars have, but they had them fixed and it is as good as new. Just joking around I asked for a free oil change when it was due. I'm a very satisfied owner of a 2010 Subaru Impreza, this car is amazing! It has nearly everything one could ask for and then some, sunroof, heated seats, 5 speed manual, tons of room inside, and well taken care of (you couldn't even tell it was used). Scott is a fantastic person to work with, he and his team know what they are doing but keep the customer in mind which I think is important to us all. I didn't want to rush into something and then be disappointed. I visited six different dealers in Boise and test drove more than a half-dozen vehicles. This dealership seemed okay to work at first but it turned out they lied to us. When we got into our car, it smelled a little like smoke to me. I asked the dealer about it and he told me there was no way the owner smoked. He told me that it had been a lease and if the owner smoked it would have been a distressed sale. We should have been more suspicious but it was such a faint smell. He said I was just smelling the cleaning chemicals. We foolishly believed him. Just a few hours later, we got in the car and it absolutely REAKED of cigarette smoke. It is horrible. We are so sad that we fell for that. I will not go back and would not recommend.

Cody was great during and after the sale. During the sale, he was straightfoward and honest and I felt that I was dealing with someone I could trust. After the sale, he came out to my house to help me set up my garage door opener and even installed a steering wheel cover that I was having trouble putting on. I HIGHLY recommend Larry Miller Subaru to anyone interested in purchasing a car. I fell in love with the Legacy the minute that I drove it. The sales staff was WONDERFUL to work with. The dealership should have actually been closed when my husband and I pulled in to look at another model that Darin had told my husband about over the phone. We expected that the dealership would be closed but another salesman was closing an earlier deal when my husband and I arrived to look at the second Legacy. Aaron and Ty came out to answer any questions that we had about the car. When I went back the next day to finalize the paperwork Aaron went through the car and the owners manual with me and answered any questions that I had. I have already recommended Larry Miller Subaru to a couple of family members and neighbors! Keep up the good work!

I got my 2011 STi custom ordered here, and they took great care of me and my car. I got exactly what I wanted, on time, and it was worth the wait! I had a really good experience with at this dealership. My Salesperson, Cody, took the time to explain the features of my Subaru Forester and why I should consider purchasing one. I was allowed to test drive the vehicle as much as I wanted. We even put a couple of vehicles side by side so I could compare. We visited Larry H Miller Subaru to look at new and used Subaru's. We were approached by Cody, one of the sales specialists once we arrived. We told him that we were not sure which model we were interested in and that we would like to test drive a broad selection of new and pre-owned. He gave us the opportunity to test drive any vehicle on the lot after giving us an overview of the various options and differences between the models. We established from the beginning that we were not ready to purchase any vehicle that day, so there was no pressure, no 'lets make a deal today' talk, and we left the dealership that day with a hand full of brochures and information. A week later we went back and asked for additional test drives, with more focus on pre-owned. Cody extended the offer of test driving any vehicle on the lot, again. We took advantage of that and narrowed it down to two vehicles we liked, but left again without a purchase, in order to sleep over the decision. We purchased our pre-owned Subaru the next day. During the negotiations we met the sales manager, who very openly discussed the pricing and showed us the details behind the final number. This gave us the confidence that we were not being over charged, and had settled on a fair price in a very non-pressure environment. In addition, upon my request, the vehicle was pulled into the service bay and I was able to inspect the under body. In the process I met the service technicians, who were very helpful and answered any of my questions honestly. I will be taking our new Subaru and our 2nd vehicle for service needs to Larry H Miller Subaru, since I really appreciate the professionalism and knowledge of this team. Also, I have been taking advantage of the free car wash once a week, which is another great offer form the team at Larry H Miller. Overall, thank you very much for the very pleasant buying experience. You will be getting my business in the future. We also passed Cody's name along to friends and co-workers, who are in the market for a new or pre-owned car.

Both Joel and Ty were spectacular in taking care of my needs in buying a vehicle. I am 50 and this was the first car I have ever purchased new. They made my experience positive and believe me I wanted total satisfaction. I never felt pressured but my needs, thoughts and ideas were taken into account as they helped to meet my need for a new car. I cannot stand high pressure sales and not at any time did I feel any pressure but concern to help me get the car I felt safe in. I had been in a terrible car wreck in 2003 and so that was a concern for me. I traded in my Tribeca which was the car we purchased after my car wreck and it was and is a wonderful car.
